- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show man. Oh man, oh man? How many
- 2:14Speaker 1: times I got to say that before I get tired
- 2:17Speaker 1: of it? M I think it's gonna be a minute, folks.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I gotta be real with you, because, boy, that Steve
- 2:23Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show man. Clear indication of how
- 2:29Speaker 1: God can do some unexpected wonderful things for you, How
- 2:34Speaker 1: he leads your life in directions that you never ever
- 2:37Speaker 1: saw coming. You know. I was talking with somebody the
- 2:40Speaker 1: other day and they were talking about how man they
- 2:43Speaker 1: were young and they were doing things, and they never
- 2:46Speaker 1: knew that the things that they were doing as a
- 2:48Speaker 1: youngster would come and and he helped form who they
- 2:53Speaker 1: were today as an adult. This guy's fifty years old,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and uh, you know the same thing for you. If
- 3:00Speaker 1: you look back on your life and all of the
- 3:02Speaker 1: things that you've done, it helps shape you into who
- 3:06Speaker 1: you are now. This is provided now that you take
- 3:11Speaker 1: the positive approach. Now when I say look back at
- 3:14Speaker 1: your life and see what you've done, that doesn't mean
- 3:17Speaker 1: dull on the misfortunate moments, because the misfortunate moments were necessary.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I know it. It's hard to see that when it's
- 3:24Speaker 1: happening to you, But the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know,
- 3:29Speaker 1: what really makes you appreciate summer vacation is winter work.
- 3:34Speaker 1: What really makes you appreciate a walk on the beach,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's when it's cold as raining outside. What really makes
- 3:42Speaker 1: you appreciate when you're up, it's because you've been down.
- 3:47Speaker 1: See if you are up all the time. Just the
- 3:50Speaker 1: nature of us as human beings, we would lose our
- 3:53Speaker 1: appreciation for because it becomes case surah, whatever it is, well,
- 3:58Speaker 1: it is what it is. I'm just what what what
- 4:01Speaker 1: you take it for granted, it becomes expected. But what
- 4:04Speaker 1: happens in life's is it has so many twisting turns,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and then you learn how to deal with those twisting turns,
- 4:10Speaker 1: which makes you now a more experienced person. And then
- 4:14Speaker 1: when the sunny days come, man, you go wild. It's
- 4:16Speaker 1: really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how warm
- 4:20Speaker 1: weather just stay in a bunch of cold weather all
- 4:22Speaker 1: the time. I'm you know, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm just this is really really simple and now analogies,
- 4:27Speaker 1: but it helps you along the way. Now here's what
- 4:31Speaker 1: I came to say today to everybody out there. And
- 4:34Speaker 1: this has helped me in my life. I can't tell
- 4:37Speaker 1: you what it's done for me. But a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 1: people are struggling with moving forward with their future, their
- 4:46Speaker 1: future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes,
- 4:53Speaker 1: their future dreams, just simply your future wants. A lot
- 4:58Speaker 1: of people trying to have a hard time mapping out
- 5:01Speaker 1: their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna be,
- 5:05Speaker 1: what I'm gonna make, how or go about it? What
- 5:08Speaker 1: do I do next? I want to share something with
- 5:11Speaker 1: you that I had to come to terms with the
- 5:14Speaker 1: quickest way to lose focus on your future is to
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep focusing on your past. You know, it's like I
- 5:22Speaker 1: said at the beginning. You know when I say it's
- 5:24Speaker 1: it's wonderful to look at your life and review it,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because if you look at it, it'll tell you, uh it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It really helps shape inform you today as the person
- 5:34Speaker 1: you are now if you look at it in a
- 5:37Speaker 1: positive sense. But if you dwell in harp on the
- 5:40Speaker 1: negative that's happened to you, then that keeps you from
- 5:44Speaker 1: seeing the good in the incident. Every bad thing that's
- 5:47Speaker 1: happened to you, there was a silver lining behind it.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I know people who were on drugs who finally, man
- 5:54Speaker 1: just got sent to prison for still in because of
- 5:57Speaker 1: their habit. I know cats so dope. Well, he went
- 6:01Speaker 1: to prison. He told me one time. He said, Steve,
- 6:04Speaker 1: it's a man. It's the best thing ever happened to
- 6:06Speaker 1: me to save my life. Now, most people would think,
- 6:09Speaker 1: how in the world is going to prison helpful for you?
- 6:13Speaker 1: The brother said, it saved my life. First of all,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it got me clean. He saw, I've been cleaned for
- 6:20Speaker 1: five years from sitting in here. That's for starters. I'm cleaned,
- 6:24Speaker 1: I ain't stilling no more. I ain't putting myself in jeopardy,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said. Now, man,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:33Speaker 1: degree while I met here. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:42Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He
- 6:45Speaker 1: got to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 1: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:00Speaker 1: because he said, Man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:06Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:13Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:17Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:20Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:22Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:26Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:29Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:32Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:40Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:44Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:47Speaker 1: me who don't know me, it don't shake me. Because
- 7:51Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:53Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 7:59Speaker 1: to lose who's focused on your future is to keep
- 8:02Speaker 1: focusing on your path. Let it go, man, go forward.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's over. You made it, you got through it, You're
- 8:10Speaker 1: beyond it. Yeah yeah, yeah he left. But like I
- 8:13Speaker 1: told us lady on my TV show the other day,
- 8:15Speaker 1: sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:18Speaker 1: to break up because now you're loaning you by yourself.
- 8:21Speaker 1: But man, but when you in misery, when you was
- 8:23Speaker 1: in that, weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:28Speaker 1: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:31Speaker 1: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:34Speaker 1: It takes two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:38Speaker 1: takes two to make it out of sight. Say you
- 8:41Speaker 1: know that's that's that's a song. But man, that's so true.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You really do have to have two people wanting a
- 8:47Speaker 1: relationship to work. It can't just be one person, one relationship.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So you can pray about the relationship all you want.
- 8:54Speaker 1: If the other person don't want you no more and
- 8:56Speaker 1: ain't gonna act right, you can't make him do that
- 8:59Speaker 1: or you ain't make her do that. So, man, the relationship,
- 9:03Speaker 1: the breakup sometimes it's a blessing. It's over. Let it
- 9:07Speaker 1: go go forward. Quit looking at how much time you wasted. Man,
- 9:12Speaker 1: that's that kills people from getting the next if you're
- 9:15Speaker 1: constantly dwelling on how much time I gave him and
- 9:19Speaker 1: how much time I gave her, and now here I
- 9:21Speaker 1: am lost in alone. Oh, you ain't wasting no time.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Some of the times was good, a lot of them
- 9:28Speaker 1: was bad. So what you're gonna do now? You You
- 9:31Speaker 1: ain't gonna have no future because you're gonna keep focusing
- 9:34Speaker 1: on your past. Are you serious? So now you're asking
- 9:39Speaker 1: God to give you another relationship when you don't even
- 9:42Speaker 1: have enough sense to appreciate the fact that you are
- 9:47Speaker 1: now available for another relationship. But you steady asking God
- 9:52Speaker 1: for a new relationship, but you are yet to be
- 9:57Speaker 1: grateful that you are in a position to have a relationship.
- 10:01Speaker 1: And you keep harping on the past. You don't think
- 10:03Speaker 1: you hear that. I'm just a dude with a show,
- 10:06Speaker 1: and I hear it all the time. Let it go
- 10:09Speaker 1: go forward. It's over. You made it, He bought you
- 10:13Speaker 1: through it, you conquered, you survived it. Why are you
- 10:18Speaker 1: dwelling on it and making it the cross around your
- 10:21Speaker 1: neck when clearly he had removed it for you. Now,
- 10:25Speaker 1: all you got to do is come on. So if
- 10:27Speaker 1: you're sitting behind them walls, brothers and sisters, I'm talking
- 10:30Speaker 1: directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got to get
- 10:34Speaker 1: it right. All this repeat offender business, that's for. Who
- 10:37Speaker 1: is that for? How ignorant can you be to keep
- 10:41Speaker 1: giving your life back to the penal system? Be free, man,
- 10:45Speaker 1: walk the streets, do the right thing. Ask God to
- 10:47Speaker 1: help connect you. He could do anything. You think he
- 10:50Speaker 1: can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man? Put
- 10:53Speaker 1: some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Let's move to ladies and gentlemen, boys and girl people
- 11:03Speaker 1: listen from around the world. You are listening to the
- 11:05Speaker 1: baddest morning showing the land. Today's show is dedicated to
- 11:10Speaker 1: those of you who still eat chitlings. A lot of
- 11:15Speaker 1: them dedicated to those of you who still eat chitlings.
- 11:25Speaker 1: And the reason I'm dedicating this show to you, it's
- 11:29Speaker 1: cause you ain't got long. Oh that's my uncle Jack.
- 11:32Speaker 1: He loves them people and they will use the phrase
- 11:36Speaker 1: why you ask me and my cooking chitlings? Because I
- 11:40Speaker 1: smell them. Because if you're there for a long time,
- 11:45Speaker 1: you get used to it. I think, God, everybody, good morning,
- 11:54Speaker 1: what's going out? Steve? What's a CRUI? Hey girl? Chiens?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Steve. I had to cook him. They clean
- 12:03Speaker 1: him to junior morning. You had chiding who number one?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Chip lens baby every new year, dag number two? If
- 12:14Speaker 1: you do try chilens hotter than the mofile hot sauce? Baby?
- 12:17Speaker 1: What was that? A shameless what? Excusely? But you didn't
- 12:23Speaker 1: ask me? I know way too. You ain't never had
- 12:28Speaker 1: no chilen wan somebody anyway. No, but my mom cooked him.
- 12:37Speaker 1: My mom did cook him, but you never tried him.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You never tasted it. Yeah, I tasted him, but it
- 12:42Speaker 1: wasn't for me. Yeah, I wasn't forward to it. Everything Christmas,
- 12:47Speaker 1: really I look forward to it when it was just
- 12:50Speaker 1: hard because they smell so bad. Get over it, a damn.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I just couldn't do it. Yeah, yeah, I haven't had
- 13:02Speaker 1: chidlings in years. No, no, no, no, no, pots. You
- 13:08Speaker 1: didn't get him, get him pre clean, frozen. They all
- 13:15Speaker 1: say pre clean. I don't know. I would like to
- 13:18Speaker 1: say that. Yeah, every house I had chickling and had
- 13:21Speaker 1: a window unit in it. Last time I had chidlings,
- 13:25Speaker 1: my mama was living. That was really it. This girl
- 13:28Speaker 1: made some one time and did not understand the concept
- 13:31Speaker 1: of it and walked in her house and oh my god,
- 13:35Speaker 1: it was horrid in that And then she opened up
- 13:37Speaker 1: the pot. I said, you don't have to understand how.
- 13:40Speaker 1: She said, I've been scooping this stuff off every now.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I said, anything you're supposed to clean. Yeah, yeah, and
- 13:46Speaker 1: that's stuff you're scooping, that's not stuffy stuff. Right. So
- 13:58Speaker 1: I went home. I thought you were staying for Thanksgiving.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Well you know your thought wrong, mhm, because everybody in
- 14:08Speaker 1: here going. And also I watched the Canelo Triple G fight.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I missed it. I was pulling for Canelo because I
- 14:19Speaker 1: know way more about Mexico and got more Mexican friends
- 14:22Speaker 1: than I do somebody from Kazastan, So that immediately made
- 14:27Speaker 1: me pull for Cannello. But I love it dude from
- 14:30Speaker 1: Triple G because he's the same country that ball rat
- 14:33Speaker 1: is from. Oh yeah, he sounds just like it too.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But he was talking. I thought that was bo. But
- 14:40Speaker 1: I'll tell you about the fight when we come back.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Uh, we want to hear about
- 14:47Speaker 1: this fight still. Well, now let me tell you something.
- 14:50Speaker 1: It was. It was it was a draw. It was
- 14:52Speaker 1: a great fight. It was a great No. Well, in
- 14:56Speaker 1: the professional ranks, Triple G one to fight. What's the difference. Well,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you know, he out punched it. He got more strikes.
- 15:03Speaker 1: But in amateurs, you know, in pros, we don't care
- 15:06Speaker 1: about that tip tip tat tat punch, that little punch
- 15:09Speaker 1: where you tap him on that jab right there, unless
- 15:12Speaker 1: it's a really banging jab, we don't don't count. They
- 15:15Speaker 1: don't care about that in the pros because putting Cannelo
- 15:18Speaker 1: through he threw from hal you know, I'm stopped popped.
- 15:24Speaker 1: He was body shotting this guy. But he got out
- 15:28Speaker 1: boxed in the middle rounds because Canelo did look like
- 15:31Speaker 1: he tired. And I thought Triple G one all those
- 15:36Speaker 1: middle rounds and I think the last three rounds went
- 15:38Speaker 1: to Cannelo, which saved the fight, which gave him a draw,
- 15:40Speaker 1: which is good for boxing because this is Cannelo to
- 15:43Speaker 1: Cannelo too. Oh that's coming. And then he kept his belts,
- 15:49Speaker 1: you know, and so I think, you know, it'll be
- 15:51Speaker 1: a sacrifice. It'll be for a lot more money everybody. Technically, yes, technically,
- 15:59Speaker 1: and and Canelo would have had to do a lot
- 16:01Speaker 1: more to beat him because you can't take the man
- 16:03Speaker 1: to bout. You can't take his belt with that type
- 16:06Speaker 1: of you gotta whoop the champ. Yeah, that's not amateur boxing.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You gotta whoop the champ to take the belt. So
- 16:13Speaker 1: if you don't whip the champ, you're gonna get a draw.
- 16:15Speaker 1: They had some nice shots on him, but but the scoring,
- 16:18Speaker 1: this lady, uh, the lady judge. Oh there was a
- 16:22Speaker 1: lady judge. Yeah, there's a lot of ladies and they're
- 16:26Speaker 1: very very good, they're very very good. But this lady
- 16:28Speaker 1: scored it one eight team to one team. Canelo, he
- 16:31Speaker 1: must watching another another guy gave it one four team.
- 16:37Speaker 1: One of them gave it one fourteen one twelve triple
- 16:40Speaker 1: g this lady gave it one eight team one team Canelo,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and then the other guy won four team won four
- 16:46Speaker 1: teen to him was to draw. There was her score
- 16:49Speaker 1: that made the difference. Hers was mostly lopsided more than
- 16:52Speaker 1: anybody else. And that that was not the same nobody's
- 16:57Speaker 1: watching stuff. This dude could not have one that from
- 17:01Speaker 1: she shouldn't. Well, you know, Joe, just do it. Can't
- 17:05Speaker 1: say she didn't. You're gonna sound like the dude, Yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 1: what's the ball? The ball dude that said she's a
- 17:12Speaker 1: female jail she shouldn't be, you know, having removed from
- 17:15Speaker 1: the game, So we're not gonna get removed from the
- 17:18Speaker 1: today talking about she should And then I gotta send
- 17:22Speaker 1: some love about to my girl over the ESPN Jamal Jamal, Yes,
- 17:29Speaker 1: send her some love and I want ESPN to keep
- 17:31Speaker 1: her on board. The White House is calling calling for
- 17:34Speaker 1: her job, but that's the huckab chick. She's calling for
- 17:37Speaker 1: her job. She called Donald Trump white supremacist, but it
- 17:42Speaker 1: was on her personal Twitter page and on ESPN. She
- 17:47Speaker 1: did not do it on ESPN, So she should not
- 17:50Speaker 1: lose her job. And that you are what you act
- 17:54Speaker 1: like sometimes from sending a lot of love and prayers
- 18:00Speaker 1: and you know, the White House. You all have many
- 18:03Speaker 1: more other things to concern yourself with than what the
- 18:07Speaker 1: female sportscaster said, hello, and all that stuff you've said,
- 18:15Speaker 1: Come on, I mean, really, man, seriously, your grabby woman's pease,
- 18:23Speaker 1: none of it. Yeah, you gotta commit you So, you
- 18:28Speaker 1: know they need this, they need to hope this. All
- 18:31Speaker 1: prayers go out there, you know. Think but let me
- 18:35Speaker 1: say this again, at running the risk of having some
- 18:39Speaker 1: more fire come my way, Well, maybe you should ask
- 18:42Speaker 1: a question. Let me ask a question. Let me ask
- 18:45Speaker 1: the question, ask it. Would it be smart of all
- 18:50Speaker 1: of us to be mindful based on the climate that
- 18:55Speaker 1: we are in today? Do you think it's a good
- 18:58Speaker 1: idea that we go about, uh, pointing out the flaws
- 19:04Speaker 1: of the White House and the president in other ways
- 19:10Speaker 1: Because if you come with the straightforward attack, they come
- 19:17Speaker 1: right back, and they come back with the fervor and
- 19:20Speaker 1: people are listening to them. So do you think that
- 19:23Speaker 1: we as broadcasters and people who have a status out
- 19:27Speaker 1: here have to be a bit mindful of how we're
- 19:30Speaker 1: saying it? Yeah? In this climate, I think I think so.
- 19:34Speaker 1: If they're calling for Jamale Hill's job and she didn't
- 19:37Speaker 1: even say it on ESPN, like you said, Yeah, I
- 19:39Speaker 1: think so. I mean it's unfortunate, you know, but yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 1: because like you know, when I made the statement about
- 19:45Speaker 1: Snoop and bow Wow, I wanted them brothers to be
- 19:47Speaker 1: careful because I care about them. I took a lot
- 19:49Speaker 1: of flak for that, are you uncle Ton not? No,
- 19:52Speaker 1: I'm not. But right after that, Cathy Griffith, Snoop had
- 19:57Speaker 1: the video where he had the clown looked like he
- 20:01Speaker 1: was shooting the president, you know, which wasn't as vile
- 20:03Speaker 1: as chopping the man's head off with blood statement, right,
- 20:08Speaker 1: she lost her job. I'm just saying, I'm asking, Yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 1: we have got to be mindful, y'all. And it's so
- 20:17Speaker 1: crazy because he says whatever he wants to say. This
- 20:22Speaker 1: is a double standard, absolutely is. And we have a
- 20:25Speaker 1: White House who watches social media, which has never been
- 20:29Speaker 1: done before. You could say anything you wanted to say
- 20:31Speaker 1: about President Obama. He didn't open his mouth because he
- 20:35Speaker 1: was tending to the business of being president. But the
- 20:37Speaker 1: president that we have now used the social media. The
- 20:41Speaker 1: Press Secretary is talking about tweets, talking about social media.
- 20:46Speaker 1: This is ridiculous. This is really this is crazy because
- 20:51Speaker 1: they called him for your job. Fiercely man, the White
- 20:55Speaker 1: House is calling for a sportscaster's job. That did not
- 20:58Speaker 1: make the statement on the Sports State, but on her
- 21:00Speaker 1: personal Twitter. You can't talk about sports no mode because
- 21:06Speaker 1: of what she's saying on her personal Twitter exactly exactly
- 21:10Speaker 1: why should she lose her job because of that? Now,
- 21:13Speaker 1: what they really need to do is get down here
- 21:14Speaker 1: to St. Louis and try to find out how this
- 21:18Speaker 1: dude keep going free. You gotta go down and ask

- 30:37Speaker 1: of the hour you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Last night was the sixty ninth annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
- 30:46Speaker 1: It was hosted by late night show hosts Stephen Colbert.
- 30:50Speaker 1: It was the small screens biggest night. Some of the

- 30:57Speaker 1: at the Deaf Jam taping for the anniversary. Steve Oprah
- 31:01Speaker 1: was there and a Saturday Night Live led the night
- 31:05Speaker 1: with twenty two, count them, twenty two nominations. Did you

- 31:37Speaker 1: get nominated, but they missed the window because they came
- 31:40Speaker 1: into late. Yeah, but it was really good though. Let's
- 31:47Speaker 1: go Carlin, Shirley. You mentioned Saturday Night Live. Saturday Night

- 32:10Speaker 1: that show. Shout out to Tracy Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Blackish is a fantastic family show. However, we have to
- 32:18Speaker 1: say congratulations. Huge congratulations are in order for Childish Gambino.

- 32:37Speaker 1: f X. My husband and I we love that show.
- 32:39Speaker 1: That show is truly art. But the women won big
- 32:42Speaker 1: last night. Big Little Lies lead with five wins and
- 32:47Speaker 1: shout out to Reese Witherspoon. She was executive producer and
- 32:51Speaker 1: she also starred in the series, and in her speech
- 32:54Speaker 1: she said it was an incredible year for women in television,
- 32:58Speaker 1: women getting to tell their own stories, and opening minologue
- 33:04Speaker 1: for Stephen Colbert, Oh my goodness, he was so funny.
- 33:08Speaker 1: But the big surprise guest former White House Press Secretary
- 33:13Speaker 1: Sean Spicer Spicy maid an appearance at last night's Emmy Awards,
- 33:18Speaker 1: and finally Sterling K. Brown he won for Best Drama
- 33:22Speaker 1: Actor in a Series. You know that show This is Us,
- 33:26Speaker 1: that is a hit show on NBC. While they cut
- 33:29Speaker 1: off Sterling Brown's speech, Uh take a listen. I want
- 33:33Speaker 1: to think my cast, my old Mandy, justin Chrissy. You
- 33:39Speaker 1: are the best white TV family that a brother has

- 35:09Speaker 1: be injured. Outrage members of the community marched to the
- 35:12Speaker 1: home of the mayor, at one point breaking a window
- 35:14Speaker 1: and splattering red paint on the building. Twenty four year
- 35:17Speaker 1: old father Anthony Lamar Smith was shot and killed by
- 35:19Speaker 1: then St. Louis cop Jason Stockley in Stockley resigned from
- 35:23Speaker 1: the force in and was charged last year with first
- 35:26Speaker 1: degree murder and armed criminal action now. Prosecutors argue that
- 35:29Speaker 1: Stockley is heard on dash camp videos saying I'm gonna
- 35:32Speaker 1: kill this mother effer and seen on video furiously digging
- 35:35Speaker 1: in his bag for something after he shoots the shuse
- 35:39Speaker 1: Lamar Smith. Anyway, the government said he planned the gun
- 35:41Speaker 1: on the victim. However, Stockley opted for a judge rather
- 35:44Speaker 1: than a jury trial. He insisted to the St. Louis
- 35:46Speaker 1: Post Dispatch that it was all self defense trial and
- 35:53Speaker 1: homicide on the day off. It wasn't imminent for tomorrowfe
- 35:58Speaker 1: Stockley says, though he understand asked how the video may
- 36:01Speaker 1: look local and double a CP is asking the Justice
- 36:03Speaker 1: Department to review this case. People in southern California and
- 36:06Speaker 1: southern Florida rather bracing for possibility being hit by yet
- 36:09Speaker 1: another storm. That's why Tropical Storm Maria has now achieved
- 36:13Speaker 1: hurricane status maximum sustained wins of semi five miles per hour.
- 36:16Speaker 1: There were three demonstrations in the nation's capital on Friday first.
- 36:20Speaker 1: There was one called the Mother of All Rallies, that
- 36:22Speaker 1: was in support of President Trump. There was another demonstration
- 36:24Speaker 1: against Trump's policies, in particular demanding that his administration takes
- 36:29Speaker 1: stronger action against Russia for meddling in the presidential election.
- 36:33Speaker 1: And then there were the Juggal Loose outside Lincoln Memorial.
- 36:35Speaker 1: The Juggal Los or fans of the rap group in
- 36:37Speaker 1: Saint Clown Posse. They held a concert and rally demand
- 36:40Speaker 1: that the FBI stopped listening to them as a gang.
- 36:42Speaker 1: They say they're fans. Tops of the weekend box office,
- 36:45Speaker 1: the adaptation of Stephen King's novel it for the second
- 36:48Speaker 1: weekend in a row. It brought in sixty million bucks.
- 36:55Speaker 1: It's all Connected by the Seers and that live. It
- 37:00Speaker 1: made one D twenty three million on his first week
- 37:03Speaker 1: last week and also at the Emmy's Last Night, Sterling
- 37:05Speaker 1: Kay Brown of This Is Us became the first black
- 37:07Speaker 1: man to win Best Actor in a Drama nineteen years.
- 37:10Speaker 1: He paid homage to the first black drama win Andre
- 37:12Speaker 1: Brow of Homicide. Is my supreme honor to follow in
- 37:16Speaker 1: your footsteps. And then they were the Emmy jokes, most
- 37:19Speaker 1: of them anti Trump, most of them saying things like, well,
- 37:22Speaker 1: you know, we go according to the popular vote. I
- 37:24Speaker 1: thought you people loved morally compromised anti heroes. You like
- 37:28Speaker 1: Walter White, He's just Walter much wider. I suppose I
- 37:32Speaker 1: should say, at long last, Mr President, here is your

- 48:18Speaker 1: saying is he can't come over here and swim anymore.
- 48:21Speaker 1: He's banned from the pool until we rectify this problem,
- 48:24Speaker 1: not paying. When he's gonna be in the pool and
- 48:27Speaker 1: we all pool, we're gonna be there. And that's a
- 48:30Speaker 1: mind made of fact. I'm sinking I'm kids to the pool. No,
- 48:33Speaker 1: we're don't a man, I'm not gonna city and go

- 49:17Speaker 1: but you can't give me your all? Nay, okay, listen,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I'm not. All I'm supposed to do is call you
- 49:21Speaker 1: gonna let you know that we're banned in your son
- 49:23Speaker 1: from getting in the pool. What you're talking about, you

- 50:17Speaker 1: Yea mine? Like the problem is what ever has been
- 50:21Speaker 1: singled out all the other kids, appointing us and saying
- 50:24Speaker 1: he's the one that's doing it. Your son is the
- 50:26Speaker 1: one that's being He's clear and whatever whatever. For right now,
- 50:32Speaker 1: all I'm asking is is keep your son away from
- 50:34Speaker 1: the pool for the next two weeks. If we found
- 50:36Speaker 1: out that it's not him, will allow him to come back? Okay,
- 50:39Speaker 1: ain't me. He ain't staying away from pool for two weeks.
- 50:42Speaker 1: And if you do, he's gonna come back and do
- 50:44Speaker 1: For most fool, I'm gonna telling the whole two weeks
- 50:48Speaker 1: and go back to that talking about my son to cool.
- 50:51Speaker 1: You can tell you about his face. You said, what

- 51:09Speaker 1: Don't do a little kid and go with that getting
- 51:11Speaker 1: them in the pool. Let me tell you something. Don't
- 51:13Speaker 1: you bring them kids over there and bring them in
- 51:15Speaker 1: the pool. No, none of your children. I don't give it.
- 51:18Speaker 1: And what you say you do, I'll run life, God
- 51:22Speaker 1: get rid of down. Lady. Listen, lady, I'm not gonna
- 51:25Speaker 1: go continue to go back and forth. I got one
- 51:27Speaker 1: more thing that I need to say to you. What
- 51:28Speaker 1: I'm done. I'm gay. One more thing that I'm done.
- 51:31Speaker 1: You ain't got to say to me. I do I
- 51:33Speaker 1: want to saying. I do need to say to you
- 51:34Speaker 1: what you have to say to me. I need to

- 52:59Speaker 1: the situation he was going through, people came out to
- 53:01Speaker 1: the Fox Theater. Man. We did a three o'clock Maddene's
- 53:04Speaker 1: show in the seventh thirty evening show. The place was packed.
- 53:07Speaker 1: So thank you St. Louis for coming out seeing Mama's Boy. Yeah,

- 53:30Speaker 1: think I get two tickets to Rochester. You know this

- 55:05Speaker 1: you were dead on all right, you're listening to the
- 55:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey show. Up next, we have a strawberry letter.
- 55:15Speaker 1: But first, e s p N is dealing with a
- 55:18Speaker 1: small crisis over there. Uh yeah, we say it's a crisis.
- 55:22Speaker 1: ESPN host Jamal Hill tweeted anti Trump message recently. She
- 55:27Speaker 1: said Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has surrounded
- 55:30Speaker 1: himself with other white supremacists. That's what she wrote. She
- 55:34Speaker 1: called him the most ignorant, offensive president in her lifetime.
- 55:38Speaker 1: She also called Trump a bigot and unqualified and unfit
- 55:42Speaker 1: to be president. President Trump demanded an apology from the network.
- 55:47Speaker 1: ESPN stated that Jamal has a right to her personal opinions,
- 55:50Speaker 1: but not to publicly share them on a platform that
- 55:53Speaker 1: implies that she was in any way speaking on behalf
- 55:57Speaker 1: of ESPN. That's according to the network um. Jamal has
- 56:01Speaker 1: acknowledged that she that her tweets crossed the line and
- 56:05Speaker 1: has apologized for doing so. We accept her apology. Several
- 56:09Speaker 1: prominent liberal commentators decided to send out tweets echoing hills
- 56:13Speaker 1: original statement. She has received a lot of support. Yes
- 56:16Speaker 1: she has. Yes she has, Yes, yes she has. She
- 56:20Speaker 1: does have a right to her opinion as we all do. Yeah,
- 56:24Speaker 1: and just as the president does. They asked to other
- 56:27Speaker 1: people to sit in on the show for her. The
- 56:32Speaker 1: ladies are not going to have that. We're not going
- 56:34Speaker 1: to do it. Yeah, you can't just put another black
- 56:36Speaker 1: person up to him think nobody that ain't gonna work. Right.
- 56:43Speaker 1: They dealt with it the right way. You know, they
- 56:45Speaker 1: said what they had to say. She apologized and let's
- 56:48Speaker 1: move on. Just like when President Trump says what he says,
- 56:53Speaker 1: he wants to move on and never apologize for one thing.
- 56:56Speaker 1: He doubles down. Yes, he talked about people all the
- 57:00Speaker 1: time from the President, Yes and tweets. Yeah. Yeah. The
- 57:04Speaker 1: story just came out what late last week that he um,
- 57:07Speaker 1: he called Jeff Sessions an idiot? He was just called
- 57:12Speaker 1: he did he call him an idiot? Yeah? And they
- 57:15Speaker 1: say his outbursts of anger all the time. So you
- 57:18Speaker 1: know he called that from Korea a rocket calling rocket
- 57:21Speaker 1: manh yeah, rocket man yeah, um, Kim John m karaoke guy,
- 57:26Speaker 1: he's a rocky man. Man and my bads a lesson night.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna be a hy's a kid bang. It's a
- 57:41Speaker 1: rocky man, Steve something a rocket man. I used the
- 57:50Speaker 1: man what's his name? K him my bad lesson? He said, guy,
- 58:04Speaker 1: we have to move on. Time. We got it for you.
- 58:15Speaker 1: It is strawberry subject. Do I stay for the finances
- 58:19Speaker 1: and the kids? Question Mark, Good Morning, Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I'm a married woman in my late thirties. I've been
- 58:25Speaker 1: married for fifteen years with three beautiful children. My husband
- 58:29Speaker 1: and I have been together since we were in high school.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Our marriage, for the most part, has been drama free.
- 58:35Speaker 1: We have had the average issues of a young couple
- 58:37Speaker 1: growing up together into adulthood while raising a young family.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I considered my husband my best friend. The last couple
- 58:44Speaker 1: of years, my husband has had his hands and several
- 58:47Speaker 1: different ventures ventures to better our financial status. I have
- 58:51Speaker 1: allowed my husband full reign over our finances and supported
- 58:54Speaker 1: him so that he could better our financial situation. Now.
- 58:58Speaker 1: My husband has always made more money than me. It
- 59:02Speaker 1: has never been an issue for us. But now that
- 59:05Speaker 1: he has brought some real estate, property, etcetera, he has
- 59:08Speaker 1: become a little cocky. I've been bringing it to his
- 59:12Speaker 1: attention that he has started discarding my opinion in our
- 59:15Speaker 1: financial decisions and has started he and up had started
- 59:19Speaker 1: treating me like one of our kids. It seems that
- 59:21Speaker 1: he is short with me and snaps hit me like
- 59:23Speaker 1: the kids. It's like he forgot I am his counterpart
- 59:26Speaker 1: and how supportive I was as he raised us to
- 59:28Speaker 1: the top, and my frustration. I made a really bad choice.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I turned to another man who seemed to appreciate me.
- 59:37Speaker 1: He's a single, divorced, older man that has enjoyed his
- 59:39Speaker 1: bachelor life fully over those past years. He shared with
- 59:43Speaker 1: me how he has played the field to the fullest.
- 59:46Speaker 1: He is now looking for a wife. I think he
- 59:48Speaker 1: is fascinated with me because my mindset as a wife
- 59:51Speaker 1: to let my man lead while I support him. This
- 59:54Speaker 1: guy feels I can make him a better man. This
- 59:56Speaker 1: guy does make me feel like I'm the greatest thing
- 59:58Speaker 1: that has ever happened to him. And while my husband
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: makes me feel that any failure in his life was
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: because we married young and he didn't fulfill his destiny.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: This situation turned so ugly that I asked my husband
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: to move out, and he did. This older guy is
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: not as financially disciplined as my husband. The problem is
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: that um I have become accustomed to living a certain way.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: My husband forgave me for the affair, and it's changed
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: since he realized someone else wanted me. He claims he
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: realized that he really does love me, took me for granted.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I have my guards up because I gave him my
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: all and he didn't appreciate it. I feel like he's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: he thinks it's cheaper to keep me. I let him
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: move back in, and I thought that I could forget
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: about the other man. I still love my husband, but
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I am not in love with him anymore. I prayed
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: on it and asked God to remove the other man
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: from my heart. It worked for a short time, but
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I seem to be right back at the same cross roads.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: The other man has made it clear that he wanted
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: me as his wife and that he will do the
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: best he can to take care of me. My issue
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: is that I've been married since I was twenty three
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: years old, and I don't know if I want to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: turn around and marry this man. Although I have no
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: desire to date anyone else, but I can't afford to
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: be on my own and live the way I've been
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: accustomed to living. What am I um? What if I'm
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: making a grave mistake and lose my husband in the process.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Should I stay with my husband, even though he doesn't
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: make my heart flutter anymore? Should I take a chance
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: with this other man, even though I will have to
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: start all over and might not uh and might have
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: to struggle with him. Plus my kids could be devastated
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: by the whole situation. Do I stay for the finances
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and the kids? Confused? You're confused? Yeah, you really really
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: are confused. Uh yeah, your kids will be devastated by
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: this situation. Um. Uh, this letter is crazy. You know
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: what your Your whole marriage is messed up because of you. Uh,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: it's just a hot mess. I got a question for you.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: This is how you work on your marriage by turn
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: learning to another man. I don't know, maybe you left
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: something out, but I never got to the part in
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: your letter. You know where you guys tried to work
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: this thing out before you turn to another man. And
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: we've set many many times in this show. You cannot
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: go outside to work on what's wrong with your marriage inside. Okay,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: you were right about one thing that you made a
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: bad choice. Okay, you're human. Uh. The key to it
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: is to stop making these bad choices. Um. This is
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: something phenomenal that happened here. To me, her husband forgave
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: her for sleeping with another man. To me, that's phenomenal
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: because men don't usually do that women yet, but men
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: know they don't. They usually don't forgive that sort of thing.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: But he wants you back. He's told you how much
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: he loved you, all that sort of thing. Go back
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: to your husband, leave this other man alone, and please
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: get your priorities together. All you talk about is money, money, money, money.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: That's phenomenal that her husband took her back. We'll be
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: back with a coke cracker, you're to say, all right,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's go to part two of today's
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. Woman been with her man for a long time,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: had a great life. They've been together so long. They
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: raised kids, just the typical problems in the family. Um.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Then she allowed her husband take over all the finances.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: He became cocky. One thing led to another. She felt belittle.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: She said, she made a bad choice and turned to
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: another man. Now she's fascinated with this new man. Uh,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: he's all of this and a bag of chips. And
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: then now her husband obviously finds out and forgives her.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: And well, anyway, before that happened, she's with this man
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: who's not financially together. He's an older guy. Um, treat
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: her like a queen, so she says, blah blah blah
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: blah blah. Um. It got so bad that she asked
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: her husband to move out, which I find ironic. Because
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: was it not? Is it not? You the one who cheated?
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Right now your hood has been got to get the
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: hell out because you cheated. Now your man leaves the house,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: he discovered he wants you back. He forgave you for
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: the affair, which I must tell you as surely said,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: it's absolutely phenomenal because most men. You can't take my
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: cooking and crumble it no where, I don't know where,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: break it all, pass it out. You can't open the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: pack up in front of nobody. You got people just
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: oreo cooking going on a whole, all the middle gone.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: You just cannot do that and then come back up
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: in here. So you've got an interesting man right there.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Uh he feeling he realized he was treating you wrong.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Now he wants you back. You let him back in
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: the house. Your feelings for him are not the same.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: You prayed to God to take your lust away for
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: this other man. He worked for a little while. Okay, well,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: so blise now you don't know if you should go
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: with this man because it changes your financial situation too much?
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Are you? Ke is to be devastated? Shirley pointed out
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: a great point. The kids are going to be devastated.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: But now let's really talk about what really cold cracker
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: see some mess in him. I've allowed my husband full
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: rain over our finances and supported him so that he
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: could better our financial situation. A couple of lines go back,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: A couple of lines go by. Then you say he
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: started discarding my opinion and our financial decision. Did you
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: not just say you gave your man full rein over
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: the financial decisions. Now you say he's starting to disregard
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: my opinion and our fact you didn't have one at
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the beginning when you gave him full rain. Now that
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: things are going well, is it that you wanted credit too?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Is it that you wanted credit too and he wasn't
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: passing it out? Because men will stick their chest out
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: once we've accomplished something I I they will forget. Admittedly, ladies,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: that it was a Weever, I understand that part of
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: it right Then then she says, it's like he forgot
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: that I'm his counterpart and how I supported him. I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: was as I raised us to the top. Now, she says,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: in my frustration, I made a really badchel. I turned
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: to another man who seemed to appreciate me. Here's her
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: description of this man. He's a singer, divorce, older man,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: and Georgia's bachelor fully bachelor life fully over the past
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: few years. He shared with me how he has played
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: the field to the fullest. He's now looking for a wife.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I think he's fascinated with me because of my mind
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: set as a wife to let my man lead while
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: I support him. Well, that's an interesting thing you just said.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: This is your description of this guy, somebody who's played
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: the field to the fullest. So now you think all
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the player stuff is washed out. Your husband being a
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: player was not the problem. But now you're stepping into
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: a relationship with a man who has told you what
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: he has been, has been a player, and now you're
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: thinking that that got him all out the situation. But
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: you think you think his fascination with you is your
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: mindset as a wife, that you know how to support
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: your man. Okay, then if I was him, I would
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: be looking at you because your support of your man
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: when you got tired of not being was you turned
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: to another man. If I was this new man, I
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: would be looking at you upside your head because that's
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: what you call total support. You went outside the marriage. See,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: do you want to make this letter about how he
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: treated you, and I got what he did was not
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: the best way to approach it. The I, I ME
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: me when it should be we we win. We could
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: be guilty of that many times. But hold on them.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Let's talk about what really went wrong. You broke the violuce,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: you gave him full rain of the money. Then he
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: didn't give you enough credit. Now you go outside and
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: you go get homeboy. Now you got a problem with homeboy.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: See you talk about how good old homeboy is. He's
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: an older man um and that is not as financially
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: disciplined as my hood. You're gonna leave him to You
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: think you fell out with your man. You waited your money, right,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: you waited. You go down to that bank and got
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: to pay that twin at all or whatever fear is
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: for a non sufficient fund check that get returned all
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the time because I wore you're fitting to be doing.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Now you can get up here and everything is cozy
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: with the dude you just kicking it with. Because y'all
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: don't live together. You ain't got yeah, yeah, yeah, your
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: new man ain't got the problems that your husband got.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Y'all ain't got the life You and your husband got y'all,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: ain't got the problems on the situation. So yeah, I
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: always looked rosy on the other side, but you went
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: over to the other side. Now you don't let your
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: husband back in the house. Now you don't love him
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: any moment. Now you now the man. Guess what won't
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you back? Now? Guess what? I prayed on it and
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: ask God to remove the other man from my heart.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: It worked for a short time, but I seem to
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: be right back at the same cross roads. You know
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: what that means to me? That means you're back sleeping
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: with this dude again. Alright, guys, we have to go.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Good letter, but we gotta get out of here. You
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: can email us or Instagram what's your thoughts on today's

- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Sterling K. Brown great speech. They cut his speech short.

- 1:10:15Speaker 1: All right, So Steve Nini was on your show. She's
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: from Fashion Police, of course, and she's going to be
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: in the new season and Housewives of Atlanta. He gave
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: it to the paper. She looks Steve's fabulous. She came,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: did you need he ain't gonna play with enough? Yeah,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: she knows what to do on p Yeah, and she
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: she she knows how to be negative and make you
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: watch and make you want to watch her and hear
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: what she wants, hear what she has to say as well. Well,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: all you can just get on that argue with her,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: like I don't agree on a damn first on me
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: and Nini want. It was a friendly ument, but it
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: was just what night. He didn't agree with the ninety
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: day rule. I'm just not a ninety day girl saying
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: hell yeah, said grandmother the heir, and what what? What
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: days you talked about? And you got her husband? So
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: you know, come on, you ain't gotta wait ninety days.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I think a woman should make a decision quicker than that.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: You're not third day. You all to know if you
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: were the man and just go in. And then a
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: little young girl started clapping us. Okay, okay, y'all been
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: listening to Christie, listen to Nini clapping. Okay, Nini got
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: a man. Yeah, he's got a man, got money on TV.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Your as sitting up here, ain't got knife? Well did
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: she talk about being excited to come back to Atlanta Housewives. No,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you know, I didn't talk about I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I don't know who owned and nothing. What about Fashion
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Police because she's also on there, Yeah, she was on there,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: talked about you even a little sneak pea. Can we
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: play a literally what you guys talking about? Okay, all right,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: let's take a lift. My girl, Ninnie Leaks. Now she's
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: here to take your questions. This is ni Speaks. Ye Sonny,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: you read it alright? Where's Dorine? Dorine has a question? Hi?
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Hi Danny. Hi, See, I'm here to ask about my son.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: He keeps sagging his pants. He uh sacks his pants
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: at church, he sacks his pant at the grocery store.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: So to try to get back at him, I try
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: to sack my pants in front of his friends, and
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I'm brought in here with me. He wears three pair
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: of pants, boxers, shorts, and pants, and it's time to
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: look like a man to get a woman. First of all,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I can't get over you sagging your pants. Yea, if
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: that's said, I'm gonna pull my down. That is just
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: too I mean, I'm trying to teach him a lesson.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: That's not a woman on this earth that goes you
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: know what with his past pulled down like that girl.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: That's what I want. Look man, at one portant time,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: you gotta let it go. You get a job, you
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: gotta fall in love. Alright, you were dropping knowledge stuff.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: He had a beard and everything. Here you sing, he
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: was older. What do you look at? I said, you
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: got a girlfriend? Now sitting there with a full big boy,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: you had none of it. Why you live in the
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: house with your mama and you saging? What? What? What? What?
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: What's the cutoff? At one point in time? You gotta
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: figure what they ain't working for you. If you ain't
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: working and you ain't got a girlfriend and you live
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: at your mama's house, three things big sagging, living with
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: your mama, right mama mama was born. I looked at that, dude,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I said, little brother. Man. So the show is really
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: good today. The show is picking up fans. Is the
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: numbers Thursday and Friday went way up. So we're starting
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: to climb that ladder. Man, get to where I want
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: to show to be. It's a really really good show. Man. Hey,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I have an idea. All right, question, ladies, I'm asking
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Shirley and Carla. I've already done this. I want to
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: do a segment that features women. Really, Steve, Yeah, but
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I just want like every day, you know, just like
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: you know, like a shout out, you know, yeah everything
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Queen Queen four day, something like, But what what would
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: be the best way to feature women? What would be
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the best way to feature women? Like women who what?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Or women who did this? Yes, j you said, you
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: raise your hand because I love you. Pick me. You
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: pick a female who's doing tremendous things across the country
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: in their neighborhood, on their job, at their church, whatever,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: and in it, and you do you make her feel special.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: You give her a shout out, you do something special
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: for her, somebody that's never gonna get shouted out across
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: this country. Steve queenfood Day. I love. And then you
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: know what to Steve you can give him. I just
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: came up with that. I just thought about that. That
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: was my idea. Yeah, it was great, It was great,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: and I just like one of the best ideas I
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: did do that. I just said, you know a little
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: bit special. Yeah, I think Carla was that's great. We
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: have the same idea to give her a spawn, treat meant,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: get her hair done, her nails done, all of that.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I mean, you know, because sometimes we do so much
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: for others as women. What though, I'm trying to get
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: the for what? Oh for like I mean, I want
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: I need specifics, not just something what That's what makes
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: the idea come to life. You mean, like she's done what? Well,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: if she's like the mother person, how do we get them?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: How do we find out about them? Oh? Yeah, you
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: can feel saying yeah, they can send in video. We
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: had men nominate these women. I was gonna say that
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: to husbands nominate their wives. If you know a woman,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: you can you can put it out there. If you
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: know a woman who's special in your life, who has
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: done this, blah blah blah, we want you to nominate her.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Send your videotapes. All right, go to go to our
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: email and send a shout this. What's our email, Monica,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Steve TV dot com. Go Steve TV dot com. Yeah,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: that's gonna be right back, coming up next to our
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: special guest, Jerry Springers in the building. We'll be right back.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, And here we go, folks.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: If we gotta stress your guests. It's a friend of
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: mine too. I love this dude. Man, he's hosting one
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: of the most engaging TV shows ever. He's hugely possible,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: hugely popular, successful show it's called Jerry Springer made him
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: a culture icon, y'all. Now, the new season Jerry Springer
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: kicks off today with some outrageous new shows that you
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: really don't want to miss, y'all. Let's find out about
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: the new season. Please walking my buddy, my man, Mr
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Jerry Springer up there, man, I'm fine. It's always good
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: talking with you, Steve Man. I love this dude. Look,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: look you're kicking off the twenty seventh season, Jerry Ston
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: mean for taste, but I'll tell you what the money
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: you produce it taste? Okay, No, I volunteer. I don't
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: get paid. Hey, hey, y'all, y'all ready for this the
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: titler Today's show? What sex with a pregnant strip? Come on?
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Can we expect this sex with a pregnant strip? I
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: have no idea, but um, I am not the father.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I'll tell you that. Hey, no, I think honestly, see, um,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: they put the titles on the show after we take them,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: so honestly, I have no idea what you're gonna see today. Um,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: because what we do is I'm not allowed to know
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: what the show is about. So they hand me a
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: card would you see me carrying around? And the card
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: all the card has on this the names of the gifts.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: And then I'm supposed to ask questions that you would
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: ask sitting and get home watching and then make jokes.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: But I'm never allowed to know the subject matter. So
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: when people ask me what the show is going to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: be about, the best I can say it's it's about
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: an hour. But that's I never know, so put it
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: all together after I do the interviews. So man, I
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: like the format that let me ask you something. Man, Yeah,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you have some of the strangest situations. People need help.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: They come on the show some of the most interesting
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: guests by far. Are you flooded with these great stories?
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: I mean, have you ever like run out of stories?
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Are they just keep coming? They just uh, it's kind
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: of scary, but they actually just keep coming. Um, there's
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you know, we don't have the kind of show where
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: you could talk someone into being on. So the only
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: people that get on the show people who desperately want
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: to be on. So we get thousands of calls from
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: people around the country who who have stories and the
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: fans of the show or whatever and just want to
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: be on. And uh so we never have to. It's
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: not like the producers have to sit around and come
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: up with ideas. This is just people's real lives and
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: they just want to put it on television. And let's
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: face it, we never deal with really serious issues that
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: it's about dating. Someone's upset because their girlfriends dating another
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: guy or something like that. So I'm not saying they
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: don't get angry, but it's not life changing. Tomorrow they're
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: dating someone else. So you know, that's really, you know,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: really the way it is. But no, we never have
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: to come up with the stories. You know. I love
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: watching the show because it just lets me know, you
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: know what, Steve, you're okay, Yeah, yeah, absolutely wonderful. Ahead
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: of the game. Well we we knew you were okay
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: ahead of times. To hey, man, I tell you, man,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: good luck with everything. Man, you're kicking off then, and
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I want everybody tune in the day. Well, you know,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: great guy, and you've always been nice to me and
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I appreciate that. No, man, because you really are a
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: great guy. I met you in that airport that time,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: and we've just remained friends every since. I think it's solid.

- 1:24:30Speaker 1: I want to ask you, guys, how do you know
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: if you're spending too much time on social media? And
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that's for everybody when I say, guys, here's some signs
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: you and your phone need to take a break, okay
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: from social media. You're making out landish plans just for

- 1:25:10Speaker 1: your followers know more about you than your significant other does. Wow. Wow,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you're spending a lot of time on social media. Yeah,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: that's a shame when the people who subscribe to your
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: feeds no more details, what's your life? The person you're
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: dating does? That's crazy? You should consider, Yeah, you should.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: You should consider a social media break. You won't go
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: anywhere without full hair, full makeup. If you can't run
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: to the cvs because of your social followers, that I'm
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: just staying. If you've got more pictures in your phone
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: of yourself than anybody else, you are very selfish. Yeah,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: you're You're a selfie, so selfish, selfie, self pictures of you?
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: You're selfie. Don't you know what you look like now?

- 1:26:25Speaker 1: to say? Why you do it? Any nothing? I've seen
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: people do it in rest. I think I don't understand

- 1:26:35Speaker 1: and say this is what does that do? Yew? But
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: you put it out there because other people like to
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: see what where you are? People need to carry but
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: to the restaurant that even married Tommy and I know
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: that ain't It wasn't about having trouble understanding that. He

- 1:27:33Speaker 1: then you're gonna get killed. Keep it up here. It's
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: just crazy. When you hang out with your friends, when
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: you're doing stuff and you're taking pictures, you know you're
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: not engaged. You're not in the moment. We are so
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: attached to our phone. Yes, I'll go back to get

- 1:29:20Speaker 1: we had head writing with Junior. It's like it's crazy
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: because because he says something, he laughs at it. Then
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: he walks down the hall and then he comes back
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: and he's still laughing at what he just said, and
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: you're waiting, Okay, well what next? We got more stuff
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: to write about myself? Hold on? Right, so he laughed
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: at he hold on, hold on? Then he't have to
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: go run it by five rod people didn't bring it
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: back there. That's good. We put it in there. But
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: he hadn't read it by five other people to be

- 1:30:08Speaker 1: thing about it though, as and me being young as

- 1:30:59Speaker 1: nervos I am. Every time We'll be right. I see
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: him take a bite of a chip I got to
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: check the peg before anything happens to either one of us.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: We want to think, man, thank you man. It's both
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: been a lot of pressure. It's hard to work the
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: two sicks all the time. You gotta watch the food
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: they're sitting around for j J let a cool breathe
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: who got down? Okay, let me ask you this. They
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: write for you, how much or do you use all
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: this stuff or how much of their to get the
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: other writers in the room. We get them a lot
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: of creditors, a team effort that we put together, and
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: and then Steve will come in and go not using it,
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: not using it, not using it, not using it now
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: because I know me, I know my voice. I don't

- 1:32:32Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go

- 1:32:38Speaker 1: tastic day. I like this man. They made it. You
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: really are watching him. The damn fight was good to
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: Triple guh, that's gonna be a rematch, man, gotta because
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: it's a draw. Now, that fight gonna be worth a
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: lot because day was in bang. That was not no
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: dull moment. They was in there fight. Really, I'm not
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: tay one thing though. Carnello hit him though, if he
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: kept him, I think his ribs is hurting today because
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: he went up on that. Man. Yeah, he would have
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: been there and got it. And and Triple GD was
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: doing nobody work in the beginning. But if they get
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: in that But you know what, man, I think Canello
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: was messing around too much in the beginning, and this
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: corner told him, he said, hey, man, you don't need
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: to experiment with this guy. Stay off the ropes. But
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: because staying on ropes is not good with Triple Middleway, Middleway,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: middle Way one six. So that's bigger than the third grade. Yeah,
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: that was yeah, fought in the junior Floyd did won fifty.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: This last fight, Carnello Nemon won sixty. He can't Floyd
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: Floyd out though he good, he ain't got nothing else
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: to prove. And then you can't get back in there
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: with Cannello Neil just forty, get on out party, undefeated, legend,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: Hall of fame, pound for pounds. You know what they
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: got some chance. You can't teach chim can you know
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: you can't teach you know you have to have a
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: good chance. You know what else had a real storm.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: K George Wallace is mama, wait, that's all you got.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: We went through the whole morning without your mentioning. He's
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: gonna get it out. That is Wallace, and here you
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: go at I was actually we're talking about fight, George Wallace.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: That's all you got. You met from break your hand
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: one day. J all right, she was ready. Let who
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: got a good shop out there today? So he's surprised
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: even you, Steve, that's all you got. That's how you got.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: All right, I have this one last story. I don't know.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: I don't know, guys, but bring it all right. Here
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: we go. This is according to TAMZ. Now, oh j
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: e first comedy special was about Steel doing o J joke.
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: This is all doing a trial. I've been doing jokes since.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: Come on, let's go shop, all right. O J is
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: salivating over getting back into the swing of things after
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: prison because yeah, here, next month he's getting out, and yes,
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: that includes golf, lots of golf, o J tells uh.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: O J's lawyer tells TMZ that Juice for Starters has
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: narrowed down around five potential residences of where he might
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: live in Florida. Following his prison release. He'll have to
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: submit a parole plan on exactly where he'll live, so
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: he's still mulling it over. One home might be out
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: the window because o J's lawyer said one of the
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: homes got hit hard by Hurricane Irma. Once settled, we're
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: told o J's plans to get back. He plans to
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: get back in shape so he can golf as often
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: as he wants. So he had five places he might live.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: I think Sharpton is one of the places he might live. Sharpton, Sharpton,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: Kentucky and Knife in can What did I say wrong?
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: Knife in Illinois. He's going to I'm riped out of
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: He's gonna have all quite a goal because whatever neighborhood
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: he moves into, it's going to be Yeah, you know
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: there's something. There's gonna be some cab you walking the road? Hey, everybody,
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: if he moves anywhere around white people, there's gonna be
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: some pickets. What donna sound like? If you move around
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: black people, it's gonna be real interest. Yeah, ain't nobody
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: going to sleep over there? O? J Like still on? Interesting?
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: What the hell does he keep moving? Black neighborhood? They
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: watching that sleeping over there? Lights on something. We'll be driving,
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: look off from the window and see him dragging. He
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: dragged another body trash? They not. He can't go pick
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: up a roll in the carpet. Nothing, can't come in
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: with a rug, none of that party. Would you get
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: out in shape? Don't everybody get in shape in jail?
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: Did you see him? He wasn't in shape? Surely he
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: actually he has lost weight. He's lost a lot of weight, really,
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: but yeah, he lost a lot of weight. Man. He
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: lost it because he was really swollen when he first
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: went in. He started getting in shape in jail, and
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: he cut his weight weight, cut it on nothing else
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: to do. Yeah, I can't make it to the gym today.
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: And why is that? Mr Simpson? Hey, but would you
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: invite him? I mean, if he moved in, would you
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: invite him over? I'm pretty sure? Oh, J don't want
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: to have nothing do the Joke's night around the golf
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: with him. I don't play golf with people like that,
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: like friendly conversation, heybe, but like doing stuff like you know,
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: like living like well you on the slow end? Would
