- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn you love, got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out. Then turn the water the water go. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your tha uh huh, I shall well a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Man, If if I had time enough to
- 2:15Speaker 1: tell the whole trip, the whole journey, and y'all would
- 2:19Speaker 1: be sitting up in there going okay to Steve, are
- 2:21Speaker 1: we gonna play the show this week? But man, it's
- 2:25Speaker 1: been a lot of amazing things has happened to me
- 2:28Speaker 1: over the years, and not all of them good. It's
- 2:35Speaker 1: been some amazingly bad things that have happened too. But
- 2:39Speaker 1: I just come on in the morning as a reminder
- 2:41Speaker 1: to everybody of the actual goodness of God, that you know, man,
- 2:47Speaker 1: that these mistakes that you're making, that these setbacks that
- 2:51Speaker 1: you keep having, that these falls that keep occurring in
- 2:56Speaker 1: your life, that they all are leading you somewhere. If
- 3:00Speaker 1: you just don't ever give up. That's the key. You
- 3:04Speaker 1: can never ever give up because you don't know how
- 3:09Speaker 1: the trip has been laid out for you. You know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: if somebody had told me years ago when I had
- 3:16Speaker 1: the dream of being on TV and then I thought
- 3:19Speaker 1: about being one of one of the best comedians I
- 3:22Speaker 1: could be. You know, when I when I started, if
- 3:25Speaker 1: somebody had told me everything that was gonna have to
- 3:30Speaker 1: happen in order for me to get there, I would
- 3:33Speaker 1: have changed it. I would have I would have said, Okay,
- 3:37Speaker 1: well I ain't gonna be that. How about this? See
- 3:40Speaker 1: and no one can know all of the events of
- 3:44Speaker 1: their life ahead of time. You know, it would be
- 3:46Speaker 1: so nice, wouldn't it. You know, to prepare for it,
- 3:49Speaker 1: see it coming, be aware of the haters, always knowing
- 3:55Speaker 1: when the backstabbing moment is coming in your life, always
- 3:59Speaker 1: knowing when you're gonna get blindsided by the enemy. We
- 4:02Speaker 1: are really great to know that, wouldn't it. Well, that's
- 4:05Speaker 1: not how it works. So since no one knows exactly
- 4:11Speaker 1: the challenges and the pitfalls and the detools that's going
- 4:15Speaker 1: to be set them it's it's it's imperative that you
- 4:20Speaker 1: just don't give up because see, knowing these things, we
- 4:26Speaker 1: as human beings by nature, would choose another route. But
- 4:31Speaker 1: it ain't the route God God for you, though, See
- 4:34Speaker 1: the route God God for you. If you if you're
- 4:36Speaker 1: trying to do the right thing, if you're doing the
- 4:39Speaker 1: best you can, if you ain't out here just intentionally
- 4:43Speaker 1: just messing over, folks. If you use in faith and
- 4:47Speaker 1: that's the belief in things that you cannot see, If
- 4:50Speaker 1: you have something on the inside of you to keep
- 4:52Speaker 1: saying there's got to be more to life than that,
- 4:55Speaker 1: then that's that's you. You, my friend, have a great chance.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And if you've ever had that feeling then gave up
- 5:03Speaker 1: on it, just get it back, just ask for it back,
- 5:07Speaker 1: Just say, hey, man, I'm getting back to the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: I used to be because there's a change that's available
- 5:13Speaker 1: in your life. But you gotta take it. You gotta
- 5:16Speaker 1: take a shot at it. Folks. There's a chance for
- 5:19Speaker 1: you to get it right, but you gotta take a
- 5:21Speaker 1: shot at it. Folks. There's a chance for you to
- 5:24Speaker 1: turn this whole thing around with God's help, but you
- 5:27Speaker 1: gotta take a shot at it. You see, this decision
- 5:31Speaker 1: is yours. The decision to lay down and give up,
- 5:34Speaker 1: that's yours. It ain't. It just got too hard for me.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Life too much, man, life hard and too much for everybody.
- 5:41Speaker 1: What I gotta get you to see, my father used
- 5:44Speaker 1: to always tell me. He says, son, best lessons in
- 5:47Speaker 1: life to burn your value and learn the most is
- 5:49Speaker 1: a balt lesson. I didn't quite understand that being young,
- 5:54Speaker 1: but I showed God it now ain't no lesson like
- 5:57Speaker 1: a bout lesson, the one you pay for. Those are
- 6:00Speaker 1: the ones that hold to you, that stick to you,
- 6:03Speaker 1: that that started turning you into who you're gonna be.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Those are the character builders. See, you got to be
- 6:10Speaker 1: forged to get to where you want to go in life.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So that's what the challenges and missteps is for. That's
- 6:16Speaker 1: what the failing is about. Now, I know you don't
- 6:19Speaker 1: like it. I didn't. I know you're not comfortable with
- 6:22Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I know you wish it was over sooner
- 6:25Speaker 1: than later. I always do. I always wanted to be
- 6:29Speaker 1: over sooner than later because the later manager seems like
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's so much I gotta go through. But let me
- 6:36Speaker 1: tell you something, man, if you can if you can
- 6:39Speaker 1: forge your way through it and understand that you are
- 6:42Speaker 1: forged in life. I don't know. I was on TBN
- 6:46Speaker 1: one time when I was doing one of my motivational speeches,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and I began to wonder about this experience I had
- 6:55Speaker 1: it Ford Motor Company and my last job after the
- 6:58Speaker 1: auto industry started going down, my last job was in
- 7:02Speaker 1: the fountry and my job was to stand at the
- 7:06Speaker 1: end almost where the engines first come out of the furnace. See,
- 7:12Speaker 1: the engines are poured into a mold's hot melted down
- 7:16Speaker 1: metal whatever they call it, lava or whatever. They poured
- 7:19Speaker 1: into a mole and it goes into this furnace that's
- 7:23Speaker 1: extremely hot. And my job was after the heat was
- 7:28Speaker 1: applied to the engine block, it would come through and
- 7:32Speaker 1: it would go through a hardening stage. But the way
- 7:35Speaker 1: it was hardening, they would cool it. Suddenly they would
- 7:38Speaker 1: flush it with water. It was just blast water on it.
- 7:41Speaker 1: But the fire and the high temperature is what made
- 7:46Speaker 1: the engine block solidify. It's because it's gotta get real hot,
- 7:51Speaker 1: get melted down first, then it's got to get poured
- 7:54Speaker 1: into a mole. Then it's gotta be pressure hit with water.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And all of this, and then it can and it's
- 8:01Speaker 1: real hot. Now it's still hot even though it's water
- 8:03Speaker 1: been shutter. But when it comes out the end of
- 8:05Speaker 1: the side, there's a lot of flashing in it, and
- 8:08Speaker 1: flashing is a metal from that din dripped through the
- 8:11Speaker 1: cast molding on it, just like flecks of extra pieces
- 8:15Speaker 1: of metal. My job was to hit this engine block
- 8:20Speaker 1: in the front, which is huge, heavy rubber mallet, knock
- 8:25Speaker 1: all the flashing off the front, and when it came
- 8:28Speaker 1: around back to bam, hit it real hard again on
- 8:32Speaker 1: the backside. And that became the core of what the
- 8:37Speaker 1: car is. A car without a great engine is nothing.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It's just a pretty looking vehicle over there. But if
- 8:43Speaker 1: it can't do what it was made to do because
- 8:45Speaker 1: the engine block then cracked. So you can have a
- 8:48Speaker 1: car look real good, but if it freezes an engine
- 8:50Speaker 1: block crack your car, you can it's over man. You
- 8:54Speaker 1: gotta get a new block. The block is the core.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But in order for you for the car to do
- 8:59Speaker 1: what it's got to do, it's got to have a
- 9:00Speaker 1: strong engine in it. In order for the engine to
- 9:03Speaker 1: be strong, it's got to be forged and steal, come
- 9:06Speaker 1: through fire, get poured in a mole, cooled off, heated,
- 9:10Speaker 1: knocked around, beat on the front end, beat on the
- 9:13Speaker 1: back end, in order for it to be what it's
- 9:15Speaker 1: gonna be. The moral of the story, folks, is you
- 9:19Speaker 1: got to get forged in fire to be what you
- 9:21Speaker 1: gonna be. You got to get beat up, you got
- 9:25Speaker 1: to get pressure washed, you got to have heat on you,
- 9:27Speaker 1: you gotta get melted down, you gotta get poured into
- 9:30Speaker 1: a mole. That's how you become who you are. So
- 9:34Speaker 1: the tough things that you're going through, the difficult challenges
- 9:37Speaker 1: and the setbacks. I know a brother who went to prison, man,
- 9:41Speaker 1: And the whole reason he ended up going to prison
- 9:43Speaker 1: because he was looking out the loot window, looking out
- 9:46Speaker 1: in the yard at him working out. And then the
- 9:48Speaker 1: next thing, you know, man, this brother decided that he
- 9:51Speaker 1: was gonna go out there and work out. Well, guess what,
- 9:54Speaker 1: he's one of the top trainers in country. Today. You're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening show, ladies and gentlemen, the time has come Steve
- 10:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. It's hell gratitude. It's the leading force
- 10:13Speaker 1: behind everything we do at the start of the day.
- 10:16Speaker 1: And I don't y'all, I don't want y'all to miss
- 10:18Speaker 1: out on this blessing or being grateful to start your day,
- 10:22Speaker 1: you might as well talk to him, but start by thanking.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Then you can go down your list of what you want.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But started like that. This is Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 10:29Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry callin for real, Mississippi Monica. Uh that legend,
- 10:35Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy Uh and Junior Junior kill space? What's on

- 10:45Speaker 1: I won't to know if I could put your name
- 10:47Speaker 1: on it. Uh, you know, like if I wait, wait
- 10:50Speaker 1: a minute, you don't even know what his fall yet.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I don't need put them o damn papers. This is
- 10:59Speaker 1: this starting to sound like would you rather? Hey, no,
- 11:06Speaker 1: you can't, Okay, So I gotta have like somebody to
- 11:10Speaker 1: sit in there in the hospital women, and they want
- 11:12Speaker 1: to know so you can get authorized to come in
- 11:15Speaker 1: and I want to put your name down you get
- 11:16Speaker 1: come Hell no, hell no what. I'm not going to
- 11:22Speaker 1: sit with you in no crisis. I ain't even like
- 11:25Speaker 1: talking to you on the phone. I don't like your
- 11:26Speaker 1: little voice all feeble and trembling like hurt I said, Junior,
- 11:35Speaker 1: what's up? Heath? But them and then you can hear
- 11:44Speaker 1: breathing in pain? You good? I said, how you holding?
- 11:52Speaker 1: I'm all right? Show it sound like good. Damn their
- 12:05Speaker 1: crime and stuff. I don't, man, don't put my name
- 12:10Speaker 1: on the damn. I'm I'm gonna be of no help
- 12:15Speaker 1: to you. I don't. I don't want to sit there.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I ain't. I ain't good with sick ass people. Junior
- 12:20Speaker 1: ain't at all. At least he's honest about it. I
- 12:24Speaker 1: know he really like you would like you ain't going
- 12:28Speaker 1: hit into the bathroom or none of that. To the bathroom?
- 12:32Speaker 1: What put the bathroom? That's out. Dog. You're a goot
- 12:38Speaker 1: to pull some little sheets up round you in a
- 12:41Speaker 1: pile them up on your lap. Gonna have to your business.
- 12:46Speaker 1: You can do anything. You put a pile of ride
- 12:50Speaker 1: in your crime. Just pile them up, make a little
- 12:53Speaker 1: volcano with your sheet. I can just be with it up.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm not real what you doing. Damn. I had an accident. Sorry, nurse,
- 13:02Speaker 1: Oho are having breakfast? Awful? Everybody to the bath room.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You can't you can't go to the bathroom, or you
- 13:17Speaker 1: and you can't quit breathing. Both him. You're out, Steve,
- 13:22Speaker 1: You're out. It's COVID. I don't know. All right, Uh, Junior,
- 13:31Speaker 1: I hope you got your answer. Stay healthy. Coming up
- 13:35Speaker 1: with thirty two minutes after the hour, we're gonna start
- 13:38Speaker 1: to show up with some church complaints from Pastor Motown
- 13:40Speaker 1: and Deacon death Jam. Right after this, you're listening to
- 13:45Speaker 1: the String show. All right, it's Monday, that means the
- 13:49Speaker 1: day after Sunday, So it's time for church complaints with
- 13:52Speaker 1: Reverend Motown and Deacon death Jam. We we want to think, Oh,
- 14:02Speaker 1: sister Shirley for introducing us in the way that she does. Yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 1: this old crazy church. Yeah, I took that offensive, and
- 14:20Speaker 1: I actually recimplicate that myself. As we punctulate yeah, and
- 14:30Speaker 1: work our way through the die a species, die, a
- 14:36Speaker 1: species of what we are ndoublingly about to endure. We inoculate,
- 14:48Speaker 1: to fascinate, to eliminate it. Very house that might pop
- 15:02Speaker 1: up on the seat. Oh you know, we are now
- 15:12Speaker 1: opening the doors for church complaints. Deacon Yeah, we gotta
- 15:18Speaker 1: issue here. Pastor Jesse's brother Jesse's smile Lad is trying
- 15:23Speaker 1: to buy his own subweight and he needs to buy
- 15:27Speaker 1: money from the building fun. He's asking for two hundred
- 15:32Speaker 1: thous that's your thoughts on that. Pastor. We read over
- 15:39Speaker 1: Brother Jesse's or proposal. Quite interested with some of the
- 15:45Speaker 1: names he's given these sib boys. Yeah, he has to
- 15:52Speaker 1: make a miracle great again. Hogan, he has the neose
- 16:01Speaker 1: is loose. Hogan is loose. That's a good sandwich has
- 16:08Speaker 1: the Nagerian knight Man Hogan. All these is going, you know,
- 16:18Speaker 1: to show things that he's gone through in his life. Yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 1: the number one seller. He's hoping it's gonna be the Empire,
- 16:26Speaker 1: Hogan Danny, the Empire that's on wheatbread. I believe, yes,
- 16:33Speaker 1: it will. Instead of having lunch meat, they have lucious
- 16:36Speaker 1: meat on it. Us. All right, I'm moving right alone.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I passed the b The b b M. The Big
- 16:56Speaker 1: Booting Ministry keeps calling out the FM, which is the
- 17:01Speaker 1: flat booted Ministry. Now they are wanting the church to
- 17:05Speaker 1: pitch in on the big Bootist scholarship because the more
- 17:09Speaker 1: booties we have, of course, that it increases the memberships
- 17:15Speaker 1: we have or two or outstanding scholarship members here on
- 17:22Speaker 1: the radio. Yes, Sister Caller and Sister Sherley, Old Lord
- 17:28Speaker 1: and Sister monicle. They've been in a long time BBM scholarship.
- 17:33Speaker 1: They've even in the zoon by EU doing the boot
- 17:40Speaker 1: He mentioned them in the zone, every last one. Yeah,
- 17:47Speaker 1: so we don't have any more scholarship for the or
- 17:52Speaker 1: the FBM. That's the flat booty master. Oh we're not
- 17:55Speaker 1: giving away no money for that. No, you got all
- 18:00Speaker 1: the line booty. You how to go to join the
- 18:04Speaker 1: Methodist Church or he can't be here? I don't know,
- 18:14Speaker 1: all right, let me keep it moving here. The older
- 18:19Speaker 1: members passed are still late for church to do the
- 18:22Speaker 1: daylight saving time. They don't know how to set their
- 18:25Speaker 1: clocks on their flip phones, and it's affecting the ties
- 18:29Speaker 1: because they don't get in on time doing the offering. YO,
- 18:32Speaker 1: call on how you want to handle it. But all
- 18:33Speaker 1: our older members are late because they haven't fixed their
- 18:37Speaker 1: clocks yet. Well, I don't know how much longer this
- 18:40Speaker 1: school last. We're gonna seeing brother Ferguson around with your
- 18:44Speaker 1: church man, y'all ain't got to come, Just give him
- 18:47Speaker 1: your pad involutes. We're just gonna pick up the offering
- 18:54Speaker 1: and solved it to the mountain, all right. We'll be
- 19:02Speaker 1: right around picking up ties as brother Ferguson will come
- 19:06Speaker 1: your way all right. All the members are asking can
- 19:10Speaker 1: we send the usher board who are trained at chick
- 19:15Speaker 1: for Late because they trained you to be nice and
- 19:18Speaker 1: very marrable, and when they interacting when people in the
- 19:21Speaker 1: usher board is cruel and mean to the members, and
- 19:24Speaker 1: we want them to go to chick for Late and
- 19:26Speaker 1: get some training because they don't know how to act.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Right back, We're not gonna do that or us. Your
- 19:34Speaker 1: board is this way for reason angry and they in
- 19:39Speaker 1: it chicken selling business. We in the soul saving business.
- 19:46Speaker 1: That's right. It's a huge difference between buying a chicken
- 19:51Speaker 1: seal which and saving a soul. What's the death soul will? What?
- 20:00Speaker 1: What is easier to do than O? Yeah, that's what
- 20:07Speaker 1: they said. Yeah, I bet it is, because I'm swinging
- 20:13Speaker 1: through the drive through it. I'm driving off. We shouldn't
- 20:16Speaker 1: have been this church for four hours, but that I
- 20:19Speaker 1: should are rude and a granted path. That's the problem,
- 20:22Speaker 1: and we just want them to be a little bit
- 20:24Speaker 1: more manerable. At that time. If all the people that
- 20:29Speaker 1: was coming to our church was the same people swinging
- 20:32Speaker 1: through cheek from Late, we could get some nice but
- 20:35Speaker 1: we don't our church square off dead up in the hood.
- 20:45Speaker 1: All right, all right, that's it for church complaints today.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Thank you, Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. Coming up next,
- 20:51Speaker 1: it is Asked the CLO, Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 20:54Speaker 1: and the Building for your love questions. Right after this,
- 20:58Speaker 1: you're listening Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 21:02Speaker 1: of the hour. And entertainment news Steve Harvey. You are
- 21:05Speaker 1: trending everywhere for your recent interview on the Earn Your
- 21:09Speaker 1: Leisure podcast where you talked about finance, Hollywood and the irs.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Plus do you want to be on Judge Steve Steve's
- 21:17Speaker 1: new hit Judge show. We'll stick around, we'll tell you
- 21:20Speaker 1: how to do that. And finally, in trending headlines, a
- 21:23Speaker 1: Chicago businessman is giving away a million dollars worth of
- 21:27Speaker 1: gasoline this week in the shy Okay. We'll talk about
- 21:31Speaker 1: all of this. Yeah, at the top of the hour.
- 21:34Speaker 1: What a hero he will be. Right now, it is
- 21:36Speaker 1: time for ask the CLO. Shamija in Newark writes, I'm
- 21:44Speaker 1: thirty seven and my son's father is sixty years old
- 21:48Speaker 1: and in poor health. I've asked him to set my
- 21:51Speaker 1: son up with a policy so that if something should
- 21:54Speaker 1: happen to him, my son can still go to college.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Right now, his life insurance will go to a grown
- 22:00Speaker 1: children and nothing to my son. How can I make
- 22:03Speaker 1: him see it's a necessity. M The baby's here now,
- 22:09Speaker 1: swords support. The advice I have for you is water
- 22:13Speaker 1: over the damn So let's not get into it. You know,
- 22:16Speaker 1: questions like what the hell was you thinking? Really thought
- 22:21Speaker 1: he was gonna make the graduation? You know stuff? So
- 22:27Speaker 1: I don't really man, and he's in pol health. So
- 22:33Speaker 1: if you just slept with an old sick ass maiden.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Oh you ain't think this through it all. This ain't
- 22:44Speaker 1: a clo question. This hell this medical questions, Yeah, yeah,
- 22:53Speaker 1: doctor questions. Position you need to see if Junior know
- 23:01Speaker 1: somebody down there because this sounds like a crisis to me.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Thank you for carling. I can't help everybody. Next question,
- 23:12Speaker 1: all right, I think and callum Azu says, I'm forty
- 23:15Speaker 1: two years old and I'm getting married in November. But
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm marrying the wrong lady. I've been with my girl
- 23:21Speaker 1: on the side for almost two years, and I've fallen
- 23:23Speaker 1: in love with her. I know I'm selfish, but I
- 23:28Speaker 1: don't want to be married and miserable. How can I
- 23:30Speaker 1: cancel this wedding without everyone hating me? Deal with the hate? Yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 1: at least they don't stay there. Right, You married the
- 23:42Speaker 1: wrong one and live in the house with somebody that
- 23:45Speaker 1: hates you. Dog, dog, Listen to me, cancel it gone
- 23:51Speaker 1: be hated, but you got to You should marry who
- 23:54Speaker 1: you in love with? Dog. Yeah yeah, yeah, that's the
- 24:00Speaker 1: wrong one. But I'm telling you, don't go through with this.
- 24:08Speaker 1: You can't have a wedding. Ain't dropped the one on

- 37:00Speaker 1: of it, but he was in the Gross Yeah, and
- 37:02Speaker 1: last but not least, Flash in the Five Heartbeats. What
- 37:07Speaker 1: is the connection of all of these people? I name
- 37:12Speaker 1: all groups with the lead singer's name on front out front.
- 37:16Speaker 1: These are all light skinned lead singers who left the
- 37:21Speaker 1: Damn Group once the group started making money. They ass
- 37:27Speaker 1: booked up Beyonce, Daniel Ross, Smoking Robinson, Fred Hammond, and
- 37:38Speaker 1: if the list goes on now. I wouldn't have brought
- 37:40Speaker 1: this up had not I seen history repeating itself. It's
- 37:46Speaker 1: in my face and I got to call attention to it.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Who are you talking about, Jake, I'm talking about Bruno
- 37:55Speaker 1: Mars when he first did these songs right here, play
- 38:01Speaker 1: because I don't I don't believe it. Just watch, I
- 38:14Speaker 1: don't believe me. Just your yes, yeah right when he did. Listen,
- 38:24Speaker 1: when he did these songs right here, he had fifty
- 38:28Speaker 1: five dark skin brothers dancing behind him. Five But all
- 38:35Speaker 1: of a sudden, here comes Anderson Pete with his light
- 38:39Speaker 1: skin ass and broke up the damn group. And I'm
- 38:43Speaker 1: sick of it. So let us be listened to you.
- 38:47Speaker 1: If you got a group somewhere and you got a
- 38:50Speaker 1: light skin singer singing lead, getting rid of the ass
- 38:54Speaker 1: today because it's not gonna work out. They're going to
- 39:01Speaker 1: leave you. Okay, fire there ass today. That's all right,

- 39:17Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is
- 39:22Speaker 1: time now to check Steve's voicemail. All you have to
- 39:25Speaker 1: do is called eight seven seven twenty nine Steve. If
- 39:28Speaker 1: you want to leave a voicemail for Steve, all right,
- 39:30Speaker 1: and we could be playing it on the air. Steve.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Are you ready, Yes, here's one. This one went through
- 39:37Speaker 1: her boyfriend's phone. Let's go Steve. We and my boyfriend
- 39:43Speaker 1: been together ten years and I recently went to his
- 39:46Speaker 1: phone and saw that he has been paying other woman.
- 39:49Speaker 1: I so funding him about it, and he asked me,
- 39:52Speaker 1: did I think that he was dumb? So he got
- 39:55Speaker 1: to tell me that he knew that I was wanted
- 39:57Speaker 1: his phone. And then the that's that I saw on
- 40:01Speaker 1: his phone? Who wanted me to see it? I know, dummy,
- 40:03Speaker 1: I know that he did not know that I was
- 40:05Speaker 1: going through his phone? So what do you think I
- 40:09Speaker 1: should do? Should I leave him? Well, I don't know
- 40:12Speaker 1: what you should do, but I do respect and a mind.
- 40:17Speaker 1: The answer he gave it, Yeah, boy, right there with
- 40:25Speaker 1: a straight faith. I wanted you to see them. You
- 40:28Speaker 1: think I knew you were going through. I knew you're
- 40:32Speaker 1: gonna go through, and that's why I put them in there,
- 40:34Speaker 1: that this is a test and you failed. Miserable he
- 40:41Speaker 1: was gonna do it. I can't believe you're doing stuff
- 40:43Speaker 1: like that. I need to reconsider this relationship. That should
- 40:49Speaker 1: you leave him? Oh? Not necessarily, you know, not one
- 40:56Speaker 1: don't matter how many years, because you got to stop
- 40:58Speaker 1: looking at it like that. Because so many women get
- 41:00Speaker 1: stuck in relationship saying, but I hadn't been with him
- 41:03Speaker 1: eight years, Well so you want eight more or the
- 41:06Speaker 1: same with what you just had? And usually answers no. Now,
- 41:09Speaker 1: if you've enjoyed the relationship with the man, it's something
- 41:12Speaker 1: to consider, find out what the real truth is behind it.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Entertaining women is sleeping with them two different things if
- 41:20Speaker 1: I don't know how to do one without the other.
- 41:22Speaker 1: But maybe I'm looking at luck, Michael. I don't all
- 41:29Speaker 1: this caller left a message one hundred times. My name
- 41:32Speaker 1: is Michelle, and I've left this message one hundred times.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Well maybe not one hundred, but at least three. I
- 41:38Speaker 1: just want to say hello to Steve because he ain't
- 41:40Speaker 1: say hello to me. Back when we was picking up
- 41:44Speaker 1: our own luggage at the Philadelphia Airport flying them from Dallas,
- 41:49Speaker 1: Texas on a Sunday, it was the last straight through flight.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I was talking to Pree and he said, it goes
- 41:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. You know. I went over there and said hi.
- 41:58Speaker 1: He didn't speak back to me, but that's when he
- 42:00Speaker 1: was picking up his own luggage, and maybe he was
- 42:02Speaker 1: preoccupied because he had to pick up his own luggage. Then,
- 42:04Speaker 1: I don't know. Thank you very much, good Bye. You
- 42:07Speaker 1: were absolutely right about that. I was probably trying to
- 42:10Speaker 1: pick up my own luggage. I didn't mean it. I
- 42:12Speaker 1: didn't see your sweetheart. Remember you was at the airport first, Michelle, Hello,
- 42:20Speaker 1: how are you? The last time I flew into Philly
- 42:24Speaker 1: was when the All Star Game was there and Magic
- 42:27Speaker 1: Johnson had an event at the All Star Game when
- 42:32Speaker 1: it was in Philly. That's the last time I've been there.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I don't even know. Look when the last time the
- 42:38Speaker 1: All Star Game was in Philly and I that's the
- 42:40Speaker 1: year I was there. I ain't been there since, not
- 42:45Speaker 1: at not at that airport, not at that airport where
- 42:48Speaker 1: you go get your bag. Point is, I've been to Philly.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Watched this right here, Sirie. Where was the NBA All
- 42:59Speaker 1: Star Game in Philadelphia? Yeah, Junior seven, guess what this
- 43:06Speaker 1: white woman just told me? Twenty one is Joel MB
- 43:11Speaker 1: number one. Not what I asked you. Oh oh oh
- 43:20Speaker 1: here it is, uh twenty one, twenty two. No h.
- 43:25Speaker 1: If you want to leave Steve a voicemail, call us
- 43:35Speaker 1: eight seven seven. As we move on. A good weekend
- 43:41Speaker 1: weekend frank phone call with the nephew coming up next.

- 43:59Speaker 1: at the dim table. Yes, all right, we'll get into that, right,
- 44:04Speaker 1: gone wrong with just a little bit, everything wrong with that?

- 45:32Speaker 1: the park? That's what I need to know. I need
- 45:34Speaker 1: to know where they are. Let me tell you something.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Hold on saying, hold on, saying what you need to
- 45:38Speaker 1: know where they are for and what you're gonna do?
- 45:41Speaker 1: What is the problem my dead boys? There is and
- 45:44Speaker 1: Tim come they they was walking up my street to
- 45:47Speaker 1: day that came over here. I have a prosthetic arm.
- 45:50Speaker 1: My right arm is prosthetic, and they know what hold
- 45:53Speaker 1: hold hold on saying, hold you say you got a
- 45:55Speaker 1: prosthetic arm, Yes, I do. My right arm is a

- 53:30Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter live on
- 53:32Speaker 1: the air, just like we're gonna read this one right
- 53:34Speaker 1: here right now. Okay, cool, we should do Nicked radio.
- 53:38Speaker 1: All right, buckle up, hold on tight. We got it
- 53:40Speaker 1: for you here. It is subject he took it out
- 53:44Speaker 1: at the dinner table. Dear Stephen Shirley, my friend hooked
- 53:49Speaker 1: me up with a great guy, and before I met him,
- 53:52Speaker 1: we had great conversation and he seemed to be a
- 53:55Speaker 1: cool guy. He sent me a picture of himself and
- 53:57Speaker 1: I sent him a picture too. He had a beautiful smile,
- 54:01Speaker 1: and I commented that he had perfect teeth. He told
- 54:04Speaker 1: me that he had false teeth. I asked him why
- 54:07Speaker 1: he chose false teeth over implant, and he said that
- 54:10Speaker 1: implants were too expensive. It was no biggie, so we
- 54:14Speaker 1: continued to get to know each other. After two weeks,
- 54:18Speaker 1: we went out on our first date to a very
- 54:21Speaker 1: nice restaurant for dinner. I was so glad to finally
- 54:24Speaker 1: meet him. We ordered our food and started eating, and
- 54:28Speaker 1: the conversation was so good that I didn't realize he
- 54:32Speaker 1: had taken his entire top row of teeth out. He
- 54:37Speaker 1: saw how I was looking at him, and he said, see,
- 54:40Speaker 1: you can't even tell when I take my teeth out.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I looked the same. Wait, there's more. I was at
- 54:48Speaker 1: a loss for words. His teeth were in a container
- 54:51Speaker 1: beside his plate, and he was just eating and talking
- 54:55Speaker 1: like all of this was okay. I had lost my appetite.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I know being single can be lonely, but there is
- 55:03Speaker 1: no way I can be seen with this bald mouth
- 55:05Speaker 1: man Stephen Shirley. I do not have a problem at
- 55:09Speaker 1: all with false teeth, but you can't just take them
- 55:11Speaker 1: out on the first date and not let me know
- 55:13Speaker 1: first after the date. After the date, I call the
- 55:18Speaker 1: friend that set us up and told her that his
- 55:20Speaker 1: teeth were a deal breaker, oh and his lack of
- 55:23Speaker 1: table manners. She said that I was being bugie and
- 55:27Speaker 1: I have to be more open minded and willing to
- 55:29Speaker 1: work with some men to turn them into the ideal man.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I beg to differ, but maybe I'm being too insensitive.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Maybe I'm being insensitive. What do you think? Hey, listen,
- 55:41Speaker 1: miss Bougie. I'm with you all day. Okay. Manners are important,
- 55:45Speaker 1: hygiene is important, and taking your teeth out at the
- 55:48Speaker 1: dinner table it's very unhygienic. It's unacceptable, Okay. I mean
- 55:54Speaker 1: it's one thing to have dentures, but leave them in
- 55:57Speaker 1: your mouth. How about that? Take them out at home
- 56:00Speaker 1: at night and put them in the container and then
- 56:03Speaker 1: put that container on the nightstand like normal people do
- 56:06Speaker 1: who have denters and false teeth. I don't agree with
- 56:10Speaker 1: your friend about you being bushy. It's okay to like
- 56:12Speaker 1: what you like and not like the fact that he
- 56:15Speaker 1: had dentres and took him out at the dinner table
- 56:17Speaker 1: that's ridiculous, and sat him in a container next to
- 56:20Speaker 1: a plate at a very nice restaurant. You're single here,
- 56:24Speaker 1: not desperate, okay, and you don't have to settle no
- 56:27Speaker 1: matter what your friend says. All right, Steve, that's it
- 56:32Speaker 1: for me. Well, very good answer, Shirley. I agree with
- 56:36Speaker 1: everything you said, but let me go at it from
- 56:39Speaker 1: this hill right here. Went out on a date with
- 56:42Speaker 1: this man. You've been talking in y'all center pitch, and
- 56:44Speaker 1: you told a man, boy, you got you got some
- 56:47Speaker 1: pretty your teeth. Look, you got a beautiful smile, and
- 56:50Speaker 1: you got perfect teeth. Then he right off the dribble,
- 56:54Speaker 1: told you he had false teeth. I asked him why
- 56:58Speaker 1: he chose false t over implants. He said the implants
- 57:02Speaker 1: was too expensive. All right, let's stop this letter right here.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Let's go back over because I need some things that
- 57:09Speaker 1: y'all need to see what I saw. He sent you
- 57:12Speaker 1: a picture of himself. You said he had a beautiful smile.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I commented that he had perfect teeth for no damn
- 57:20Speaker 1: reason at all. He told me he had false teeth.
- 57:25Speaker 1: How old is this man here where he cooled with
- 57:30Speaker 1: this hill? Maybe you got some perfect teeth. These ain't
- 57:33Speaker 1: my teeth. These ain't mine. The false teeth. So already
- 57:41Speaker 1: know we're talking about an older couple here. This ain't
- 57:45Speaker 1: no too forty year olds at dinner. So I asked
- 57:49Speaker 1: him why he chose false teeth over implants. He said
- 57:53Speaker 1: the implants was too expensive. Er, we're talking about a
- 57:56Speaker 1: cheap ass man here. Now, there's a lot of things
- 58:00Speaker 1: you can save money on. Your damn teeth ain't one
- 58:04Speaker 1: of them. Spend some money on your damn mouth. Now,
- 58:11Speaker 1: if you want to go to Walmart and get you
- 58:13Speaker 1: them tank tops where when you put it on, the
- 58:16Speaker 1: armhole be down to your belt, that's cool. I've often
- 58:20Speaker 1: wondered whetting people get them tops from them? Is Walmart
- 58:24Speaker 1: tank tops. So I don't care how big your ass is,
- 58:28Speaker 1: you can put this tank top on. It's gonna thick. Yeah,
- 58:32Speaker 1: that ain't the Nike tank top. That's the Walmart tank top.
- 58:37Speaker 1: That armhole, I don't care how what size you are.
- 58:40Speaker 1: This tank top fill that's where you save money at.
- 58:44Speaker 1: You want to go to the grocery store and you
- 58:45Speaker 1: don't want to buy del mighty green beans. I got
- 58:48Speaker 1: you buy j neic green beans. They still green beans.
- 58:52Speaker 1: The labelst white and the brightness black. All this says
- 58:55Speaker 1: green beans. I got that. You don't save money on
- 59:00Speaker 1: your damned teeth. So y'all got to know each other.
- 59:03Speaker 1: After two weeks, you went out on the first date
- 59:05Speaker 1: to a nice restaurant. You finally met him, You ordered
- 59:09Speaker 1: your food, You start eating. The conversation was so good
- 59:12Speaker 1: that I didn't realize he had taken his entire top
- 59:15Speaker 1: royal teeth out. He saw how you was looking at him.
- 59:18Speaker 1: He said, See, you can't even tell when I take
- 59:20Speaker 1: my teeth out. I look at say hold up, partner,
- 59:23Speaker 1: hold up, let me correct your ass. So something we
- 59:26Speaker 1: might not have seen when you tuck him out. We
- 59:30Speaker 1: didn't see you take him out, but we damned show
- 59:33Speaker 1: sitting here looking at you, trying to fig out where
- 59:36Speaker 1: the hell is your whole royal teeth. You can't take
- 59:39Speaker 1: sixteen teeth out, and don't nobody know it. We didn't
- 59:45Speaker 1: see you take them out, but damn it, we looking
- 59:49Speaker 1: at you now and you're not hell you talk Mark.
- 59:52Speaker 1: You can't even tell No, I didn't know. I didn't
- 59:54Speaker 1: see you take him out, partner, all right, hold that thought.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Steve will be back at twenty three after the hour.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Subject of today's letter. He took him out at the
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: dinner table. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve. Come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters. Subject he took him out at the dinner table.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: This man she hadn't met. They talking on the phone,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the exchange pictures. She saw the man smile and said,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: why you got perfect teeth right out the blue? No
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: damn reasoning at all, No need to confess this, he said,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: these false teeth that nets me. No, he already old
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: because he didn't see no problem with it. And then
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: she said, well, why did you choose false teeth over implants?
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: He said, because they're too expensive. Okay, he cheap, he cheap.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: If you'll cut back money on your damn teeth. M lady,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: your ass is fitting to be wearing. Your first Christmas
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: gift is gonna be one of them Walmart tank time,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I can promise you, because his ass is cheap, so
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: they finally go out to dinner after two weeks that
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: went on the first date. Nice restaurant, glad to finally
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: meet the man. You ordered your food and you start eating.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: The conversation was so good that I didn't realize he
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: had taken his entire top royal teefout. Now he saw
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: how I was looking at him, and he said, see,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you can't even tell when I take my teeth out.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I looked at saying food. Listen to me. She didn't
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: see you take the teeth out, but you said in
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: the latter right hill, He saw how I was looking,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: cause see after you took much, she didn't see you
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: take him out. But somewhere in the conversation she was
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: just staring at your damn mout. And then you see,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you can't even tell when I take my teeth out. No,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: we can't tell when you take them out, but we
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: can tell that they out. Right. So now she looking
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: at you and you're talking about See you can't tell
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I took him out. Yeah, we can. Why when you talking,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: your top limp disappear? Where your lip at? And what
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: is you eating without the top roll? What? What you
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: damn plate? Help me? I don't even know what you
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: are at, partner, that you can eat without that whole
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: damn top roll. Now, what I want everybody to do is,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: at one point today take your top limp and cover
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: your front teeth with it. Now, put something up your
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: mouth and keep chewing, but keep your top limp covering
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: them teeth. Choke your ass. Today you find to be
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: swallowing food so whole. This man's digestive track is shot
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: because he ain't chewing up nothing. He's just squallowing food.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Now I take I look to say. I was at
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: a loss for words. His teeth was in a container
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: beside his plate, and he was just eating and talking
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: like everything was okay. I can't talk to you, and
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: half your damn mouth is in a glass looking at me.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out is this a magic trick?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Because h half your mouth in a glass looking at me? Goodness,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I don't know if you'd never been over somebody's house
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: and they had their benches in the glass, but it
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: looked like the teeth is looking at you because they are.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Because the teeth don't want to be in the glass.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: They want to be in the mouth, because that's why
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: they be long. I know being single can be lonely.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Yes it is, baby, but there's no way I could
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: be seen with this bad mouth man, Stephen Shirley. I
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: do not have a problem at all with false teeth.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Yes you do, Yes you do. This whole damn letter
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: is about false teeth, and you got a problem with them,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: So it's okay. It's just you don't like false teeth.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: You got to write the like what you like, right.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Some men don't like women with wigs. I don't give
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: damn what you got. As long as you cute, I
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: could care less. It's men don't like fake nails. I
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: like them. It's men don't like our lashes. Please put
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: them on. I like all that extra blink blink, give
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: me all that. I do not have a problem with
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: false teeth. But you can't take them out on the
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: first day. You can't take them out with me ever,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: So damn first date. At no point is I answer
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: dinner and you reach up in your head pull a
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: whole row of damn teeth. Found they ain't got nothing
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: to do with the first date. You can't ever take
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: your damn teeth out your head. They over set them
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: down on the table. I don't give a damn. You
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: don't put him in glass. You can wrap them up
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: in your handkerchiefs and put them in your top pocket.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I don't want to know that they're up down. Oh man,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I don't give a damn if you know how to
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: spend them teeth on your finger like a basketball. I
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: want to be sitting up in here and watching your
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: teeth go around in the show. But what about her friend, Steve.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: You gotta speak to her older. Wait a minute, I
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: don't give a damn. If you take your teeth off
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: and set them in the champagne bucket, well I can't
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: see it. But when the waiter come over there and
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: pour another glass. After the date, I called a friend

- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys, you talked about this. It
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: is March madness. Junior, you tried to get it in
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: in your sports report. You tried. Remember Sister Jean Dolores.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: She's one hundred and two years old now, Jean Dolores Smith.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: She's a team chaplain and booster. Since loyal Is Cinderella
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: run to the Final Four back in twenty eighteen, Sister
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Jean has become America's favorite none and she gets the
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: celebrity treatment at games. She was in the locker room
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: for the game to lead the team prayer. But it
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: was a tough loss for Loyola Chicago, who lost to
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Ohio State. Loyals coach said, even though it was a
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: tough loss, Sister Jean will send up positive emails to
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: the team and thank them for being who they are. So, Steve,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: here's a question for you. When you're one hundred and
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: two years old. We know today is Jay's birthday. He's
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: not quite one hundred and two. But Steve, when you're
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: one hundred and two years old, will you be attending
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: sporting events out? I'm gonna have so much I'm gonna
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: have so much money when I'm old. I'm gonna have
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: a wall full of flash screens and I'm gonna be
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: busting bottles on sports shows on light I'm just gonna
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: bust the screen out with balls. Like if Cleveland loses,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Cleveland Loben just blessed with That's crazy. Yeah, but you
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: ain't gonna be losing too many more games, cause we
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: got the shod Watson coming up in thirty three minutes
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: after the hour. We'll play around him. Would you rather?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Stry morning show time now,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: guys for would you rather? Would you rather find a
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: bigger rat in your kitchen or a bigger roach in
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: your bed? Which one? Yeah? Sorry, right, I'm skinning them
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: over him. I'm I'm gonna have to go on and
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: go with that roach in the bed. That rat in
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: the kitchen fights back when a different dude they you
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: corner rat, you got problem. I see the dude poking
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: a rat in a corner with a broomstick. The rat
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: ran up the broomstick. Oh oh, and he wasn't ready
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: for that. Oh oh, rats can climb piped straight up.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Let me tell you, rat needs to be hitting the
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: head with a bat, and you need to hit him
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: the first time, because if you miss, that's your last
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: That rat behind. But do you know what? You know? What?
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: You know what to make you knock yourself out? A
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: flying roach will make you flying road into something flying roch,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: run dead into a walk trying to get out the way. Man,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: all right, we're moving on. You started, all right? Would
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: you rather sleep with the last person you text? It?
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: All right? Or would you rather go without sex for
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: a year. I don't know whoever I take gonna get it.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry whoever I'm saying. You say I'm going, I'm
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: going with sex out of it. I'm not sleeping with tyrone.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I'm not doing Yeah. First I text this morning, That's
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: all I told him. But I'm not set. Guess was
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: the last person I texted? Y'all? Monica? All right? Now,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather get stuck for five hours
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: and a broken elevator or stuck in a broken ski lift?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Which one, oh, a broken elevator or a broken ski
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: lift for five hours? Five hours I've been on the
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: ski lift in to stop before. Really, Steve, what you
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: do that dangling? Damn? Now? What if you're clusterphobic though? Elevator? Elevator? Am?
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I got heat in there? And you're not dangling? It's
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: all right, guys, Yeah, you're not dangling. Alight. That's today's roundup?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Would you rather coming up in forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: the hour? It is our last break of the day,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: and of course we will have some closing remarks from
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're

- 1:19:52Speaker 1: And don't put a lot of candles on the cake
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: and a lot of sugar in the cake. Yeah, but
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: let me ask you a quick Yeah, so you don't
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: put a lot of candles on the cake? What what
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: age you want to go with? Like fifty? No, that's
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: even that's too many, Steve. Just put one? Yeah, you can't,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: you can't put all of them camera instard of house fire. No,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: just put one and hope he can blow that one out. Yeah,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: let me go with that one. Can you eat cake? No? Yeah,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: today I will, but normally I don't. Today I will, Yeah, cream?
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Where's your paper kind of cake? Ja? Serially pound cake.

- 1:20:49Speaker 1: pretty good. And they've been around a long time. Yeah,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: seraly ain't no joke, man, And what ice cream? What
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: ice cream do you want? And what I keep saying Cosmopolitans,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: But that ain't what it's. Apolitan is a cocktail drink.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I think Tommy called it. Yeah, Tommy called it Napoleons.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: I like that one. Okay, Jay, Well, we're glad you're

- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Steve tomorrow Tuesday night at eight pm, seventh Central on
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: ABC and Hulu. Got it, can't wait? Yeah? Great show. Yeah,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. I wanted to
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: talk to you all today about risk, the risk you
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: take in life. Uh. A lot of people try to
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: measure their risk, but I want to tell you something.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: All of is risky. Everything about it is risky. Going
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: forward is risky. Taking a chance is risky. Betting it
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: all is risky. Bet in half it's risky. Becoming successful
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: it's risky. Not becoming successful it's risky. Losing everything is risky.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: How about never trying? That's risky. I was looking on
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: the internet and it's sort of amazing this stuff I
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: pick up on. You want to know how risky life is.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: None of us are gonna get through it without dying,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: none of us. That's how risky it is. It's risky.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: From the day you're born. It's all risky. It's risky
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: to go home in certain neighborhoods. It's risky to be
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: out during a certain time of day. Hell, it's risky
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: to go to the movie theater. Now it's risky to
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: go to the mall. It's risky. It's all risky. So, y'all,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: since it's all risky, why don't you make a couple
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: of calculating risks. Why don't you take the risk of
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: going on in attempting to become successful? It's all risky anyway,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Because you want to know something, what how risky would
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: it be if you don't make it? Ain't that risky
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: if you don't make it, if you never made it
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: to your dreams, wouldn't that be considered risky? Do you
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: all understand what I'm saying? I think it is. I
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: think it's highly risky to never take a chance of
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: being successful, because now you don't know what's gonna happen
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: to you when you don't attempt to chase your dreams,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: to live out your creed, to follow your desires, to
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: make a dream bored. Suppose you never do that? Risk
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: is what are you going to do now? The definition
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: of risky, y'all, is full of the possibility of danger, failure,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: or loss. That's the definition of risky, full of the
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: possibility of danger, failure, or loss. It's risky to not
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: go for your dreams because now, guess what, you will
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: be a failure. Now guess what, you will lose all
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: of your hopes and dreams if you don't go forward.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: That's risky, y'all. Since life is risky, I might I
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: would rather take the risk of going forward than run
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: the risk of never going forward and have to deal
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: with the consequences of that, because at least, if you
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: make it to success, the consequences are options. When you're
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: not successful, you're out of options until you decide to
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: go forward. Then your options open right back up. Take
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: a chance, y'all, it's worth the risk. Those are my
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: closing remarks, y'all. Hear y'all listens top to yad he'd
