- 1:05Speaker 5: You got to turn the mouth turn You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 5: to turn the mouth, turn.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Out, turn then up.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Look, come on, come on you'll think, uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 6: sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice. Come
- 2:07Speaker 7: on Steve me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 7: a radio show. I say it every day because God
- 2:14Speaker 7: been good to me. God has done some things in
- 2:16Speaker 7: my life that's truly been just amazing. It really amazing.
- 2:21Speaker 7: Ain't even really the word. They don't really have a
- 2:23Speaker 7: word for what He's done for me. I'm just out
- 2:25Speaker 7: of superlatives. That's why I say it every day. Steve
- 2:28Speaker 7: Harvey got a radio show cause God is in a
- 2:30Speaker 7: blessing business.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah he is. God.
- 2:33Speaker 8: God can help you turn your life around. Did you
- 2:37Speaker 8: hear me? God can help you turn your life around.
- 2:40Speaker 8: Whatever you're going through. God has an answer for it.
- 2:44Speaker 8: See but it's to going through to get some store,
- 2:46Speaker 8: ain't it. Because I was having a moment yesterday and
- 2:49Speaker 8: I set my wife down. I said, Babe, I just
- 2:51Speaker 8: need to talk to you, going through a little bit
- 2:53Speaker 8: right now. I just wanted to share which I'm a
- 2:55Speaker 8: little down right now. And my wife reminded me. She
- 3:00Speaker 8: reminded me, just see, this is what a man, This
- 3:02Speaker 8: is what a good mate does. A good mate reminds
- 3:07Speaker 8: you just of things that sometimes you forget when you
- 3:11Speaker 8: get off track. Because you know, I consider myself a
- 3:15Speaker 8: motivational type person. I try to listen to people and
- 3:19Speaker 8: then give them something I've learned along the way on
- 3:22Speaker 8: this journey I've been on. I try to give a
- 3:23Speaker 8: person a takeaway. But even being that person, sometimes I
- 3:28Speaker 8: get off track myself. I get a little low sometimes,
- 3:32Speaker 8: you know, I get a little down. Sometimes I sometimes
- 3:36Speaker 8: I forget some of the stuff.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I say.
- 3:37Speaker 8: It ain't that I forget it. I guess I just
- 3:41Speaker 8: get caught up in the grind of doing it. And
- 3:44Speaker 8: sometimes I get I get a little off course and
- 3:47Speaker 8: I forget some of the things that my wife or
- 3:51Speaker 8: a mate can be good for you to remind you.
- 3:54Speaker 8: And she just says, Steve, God got us. She said,
- 3:59Speaker 8: have you ever noticed that every time you get in
- 4:01Speaker 8: a spot? And she say, and I know how you
- 4:04Speaker 8: must feel, because you out here working and you keep
- 4:07Speaker 8: turning around and old stuff keep popping up, and you
- 4:12Speaker 8: get a call from your accounting and hear this then
- 4:15Speaker 8: went wrong, and that then when you study trying to
- 4:17Speaker 8: fix it.
- 4:17Speaker 2: But you steady going wild? Man, what is it? She say?
- 4:20Speaker 8: But you ever notice he always always, no matter what,
- 4:25Speaker 8: provide a way, and he ain't ever too late. Oh,
- 4:28Speaker 8: you might be going the deadline is approaching. The deadline
- 4:32Speaker 8: can come and pass, but then they have a grace
- 4:35Speaker 8: period for you. And then sometimes man, it's just you
- 4:38Speaker 8: go down there after the grace period and they take
- 4:41Speaker 8: the payment anyway, and you're good anyway. But see, ain't
- 4:44Speaker 8: that God bringing you through it. It may not be
- 4:47Speaker 8: when you want it, but he right on time. Jazz
- 4:50Speaker 8: before you get put out, jazz before they turn. Maybe
- 4:53Speaker 8: they cut the lights off, but you get it back
- 4:55Speaker 8: ones faux company come or just before the weekend.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Get here. See he always.
- 5:01Speaker 8: Comes through for you. And she had to remind me
- 5:04Speaker 8: of that what you going through is necessary. Look, circumstance
- 5:09Speaker 8: and hardships and pitfalls are always untimely. If you keep
- 5:15Speaker 8: the law of attraction in play, if you keep believing
- 5:18Speaker 8: that that's that he gonna see you through this, just
- 5:21Speaker 8: like he do when you don't believe it.
- 5:23Speaker 2: That's what the old part is though, ain't it.
- 5:26Speaker 8: Ain't God brought you through even when you didn't really
- 5:29Speaker 8: have the faith to say he was gonna bring you through.
- 5:32Speaker 8: But because of grace and mercy he brought you through anyway.
- 5:36Speaker 8: But because you forgot to thank him or you didn't
- 5:39Speaker 8: pay attention through to come through, you just was telling people, Oh, man,
- 5:43Speaker 8: if you the same. It was so jacked up. Man,
- 5:46Speaker 8: I was so turned up. I ain't know what I
- 5:48Speaker 8: was gonna do. I almost got put out. I was
- 5:50Speaker 8: gonna see keyword almost, And you forgot that part right there,
- 5:54Speaker 8: And then I was it looked like I.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Want man, And and it seemed like every month I
- 5:59Speaker 2: go through this same thing and then down.
- 6:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Then somebody ought to just say, did you pay it?
- 6:04Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 6:04Speaker 2: I paid it? Did you get put out?
- 6:05Speaker 3: Now?
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm cool?
- 6:07Speaker 8: See See you need somebody on your shoulder to say
- 6:09Speaker 8: that to you, and then you need somebody to come
- 6:12Speaker 8: right behind him and go, man, ain't God good?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Really?
- 6:16Speaker 9: Man?
- 6:17Speaker 8: That's how this works. See, you keep getting in situations,
- 6:22Speaker 8: but he keep getting you out. Now, if you jump. Look,
- 6:25Speaker 8: listen to me, hold on, hold on. Let's say you
- 6:27Speaker 8: in a frying pan in the skillet and the oil
- 6:30Speaker 8: is up and you in that frying and you uncomfortable
- 6:33Speaker 8: being fried.
- 6:35Speaker 2: God somehow.
- 6:37Speaker 8: Or let's just say you managed to get out of
- 6:40Speaker 8: the hot grease in the frying pan, and you standing
- 6:43Speaker 8: there next to the skillet looking at the fire, continue
- 6:46Speaker 8: to heat the grease, you get out, and then for
- 6:50Speaker 8: some unexplainable reason, you dives right on back in there.
- 6:56Speaker 8: Ain't that how we usually do it? I'm just asking you, God,
- 7:00Speaker 8: get you away from the man you've been asking to
- 7:03Speaker 8: get away from. Then you go right back over there
- 7:05Speaker 8: and stars seeing him again. It's amazing how many times
- 7:10Speaker 8: God get us out the fire and we walked right
- 7:13Speaker 8: back in there. Ain't it amazing?
- 7:16Speaker 2: Man?
- 7:17Speaker 8: I mean, really, man, see this how I break life
- 7:20Speaker 8: down for me? So I don't get over here stuck on,
- 7:22Speaker 8: stupid with myself and then get to doing something ignorant
- 7:25Speaker 8: like blaming God. When really, man, God has given us,
- 7:28Speaker 8: as human beings, the power of decision, and we all
- 7:31Speaker 8: make decisions.
- 7:32Speaker 2: How many times? Man?
- 7:33Speaker 8: See, sometimes it's a blessing. In getting locked up, you
- 7:36Speaker 8: can ask a lot of caps. I know, man, to
- 7:38Speaker 8: tell you it was a blessing for me, man, because
- 7:40Speaker 8: I was just headed the wrong way, steady, but he
- 7:43Speaker 8: locked me up, set me down, made me miss my family.
- 7:47Speaker 8: Being out here being a free man, made me realize
- 7:50Speaker 8: that my family was important.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Made me, man, really see this girl for what she was.
- 7:55Speaker 8: When I get out, Man, I'm on a straight and
- 7:57Speaker 8: narrow Well then when you get out, Oh see, you
- 8:01Speaker 8: can't be talking about no oh man, I can't find
- 8:03Speaker 8: no job. Now I'm gonna go and do what I
- 8:05Speaker 8: gotta do. No, no, no, no, no, partner, you got
- 8:08Speaker 8: to do now what you're supposed to do. See that
- 8:10Speaker 8: don't do what you gotta do got you in trouble
- 8:13Speaker 8: in the first place. See everybody, see see the hood
- 8:16Speaker 8: got a lot.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Of ignorant rules.
- 8:18Speaker 8: We done create it. I gotta do what I gotta do.
- 8:20Speaker 8: I gotta feed my family. Well, the only reason you
- 8:22Speaker 8: gotta do what you gotta do is because you didn't
- 8:24Speaker 8: do what you were supposed to do. See if you
- 8:26Speaker 8: just went on to school like you Mama kept telling you. Ah, Man,
- 8:31Speaker 8: I was watching forty eight Hours yesterday and the dude
- 8:33Speaker 8: named Nesto was on that and Nesto Latino. Dude said, Man,
- 8:37Speaker 8: my mother told me to quit hanging with these guys.
- 8:40Speaker 8: They were gonna nothing but trouble. I should have listened
- 8:42Speaker 8: to her. He doing thirty years right now. You can't
- 8:46Speaker 8: blame God. That's why I talk to myself this way,
- 8:50Speaker 8: so I don't get stupid and start shifting to blame
- 8:52Speaker 8: the wrong way when it's really on me. How many
- 8:55Speaker 8: times has God got you out of something and you
- 8:58Speaker 8: walk right back into it? Man, why don't you take
- 9:01Speaker 8: these blessings God give you and go on about your business.
- 9:05Speaker 8: That'd be the best way to do it, don't you
- 9:07Speaker 8: think That's what I think? So I thank God my
- 9:11Speaker 8: wife for reminding me that God got us anyway, that
- 9:15Speaker 8: God gonna pull you through anyway.
- 9:17Speaker 10: That.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Have you noticed, Steve, we ain't lost a beat.
- 9:20Speaker 8: Oh. I know it's hard out here, but really you
- 9:22Speaker 8: ain't lost a beat. You still moving forward, You still
- 9:26Speaker 8: dressing nice, You still look good when you come into
- 9:29Speaker 8: that job. Everybody don't got to know you. Your house
- 9:33Speaker 8: is in bad shape, and all that God got you. Man,
- 9:36Speaker 8: if you just hold your head up, man, quit complaining
- 9:39Speaker 8: all the time by what you ain't got, and as
- 9:42Speaker 8: in words, of my daddy, Slick Harvey. Stop talking about
- 9:45Speaker 8: what you ain't got and take a good look at
- 9:47Speaker 8: what you do.
- 9:47Speaker 2: God.
- 9:48Speaker 8: That's improper grammar, but that always stuck with me and
- 9:51Speaker 8: maybe it'll stick with you. Quit talk about and looking
- 9:53Speaker 8: at what you ain't God, take a good look at
- 9:55Speaker 8: what you do.
- 9:56Speaker 1: God, you're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 8: Another day, another blessing, another opportunity is here in front
- 10:06Speaker 8: of us again. I'm just here as a reminder, that's
- 10:09Speaker 8: all I am. I didn't create this day. I have
- 10:12Speaker 8: nothing to do with it at all. I am just
- 10:15Speaker 8: like you, a recipient and a participant. I am just
- 10:19Speaker 8: here as a piece of con do it to remind
- 10:23Speaker 8: you of some of the things that we shouldn't hear to.
- 10:26Speaker 8: And gratitude is number one man. You have got to
- 10:31Speaker 8: show gratitude. I'm telling you nothing opens up the windows
- 10:36Speaker 8: of blessings in your life more than if you show gratitude.
- 10:40Speaker 8: Don't always go asking for something. Start your day off
- 10:44Speaker 8: with thanking him for everything. Now, then you can ask.
- 10:48Speaker 8: Because you need a lot of stuff, so you're gonna ask.
- 10:51Speaker 8: You already know that, But could you at least thank
- 10:53Speaker 8: me for what I've done already. That's just a little
- 10:55Speaker 8: bit of advice from UNC. You know, you can take
- 10:58Speaker 8: it how you want to take it on you right now.
- 11:00Speaker 2: That's a fact. That's the fact.
- 11:04Speaker 8: If you don't think it's true, just go to any
- 11:06Speaker 8: person you know and keep asking him for something and
- 11:10Speaker 8: don't say thank you and see how that work out.
- 11:14Speaker 8: But at least God, no matter how many times you
- 11:17Speaker 8: do it wrong, He's still help you. So I just
- 11:19Speaker 8: told that that Steve Hart, Martins Shaw, Shirley Strawby, Colin Farrell,
- 11:23Speaker 8: Mississippi Monica, who is not old Zoom this morning, Junior,
- 11:28Speaker 8: and the legend of Nephew Tummy Junior.
- 11:33Speaker 11: You know you talk about affirmations, you know, you talk
- 11:36Speaker 11: about affirmations, say I am, I am, and then whatever follows.
- 11:42Speaker 11: You know when you're affirming, right, is it possible I
- 11:46Speaker 11: can affirm that I'm handsome?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Can I affirm that? Yeah?
- 11:50Speaker 3: You can't.
- 11:51Speaker 8: You can't tell me do it all the time. No, No,
- 11:57Speaker 8: he wants to affirm that he's handsome, and I told
- 12:00Speaker 8: him you can do that, Temmy, do it all the time. Now,
- 12:04Speaker 8: let me explain something to you about that affirmation. But
- 12:10Speaker 8: just cause you think you fine m hm oh. That's
- 12:15Speaker 8: good for you internally. Now, what you don't wanna do
- 12:21Speaker 8: is try to get that affirmation from everybody else case
- 12:24Speaker 8: I tell you right now, everybody not gonna feel that way.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Get it from me. Get it from me? How you.
- 12:32Speaker 12: So?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Okay, I'm looking right at you. Hey, huh? How's he
- 12:37Speaker 2: gonna tell me he ain't ugly? And I'm looking right
- 12:39Speaker 2: at him? See that?
- 12:41Speaker 8: Now?
- 12:42Speaker 3: Now we all.
- 12:45Speaker 8: Now we into something right walking. How you gonna tell
- 12:49Speaker 8: me you cute? And I'm looking at you?
- 12:55Speaker 2: See how that go?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Oh? Thank you?
- 12:59Speaker 2: Lord at it?
- 13:00Speaker 3: Now?
- 13:01Speaker 8: See you thought you had a new affirmation. I'm going
- 13:07Speaker 8: to thank you Nephew Tommy for coming on here and
- 13:09Speaker 8: proving my point. Yeah yeah, so, Junior Tommy just answered
- 13:15Speaker 8: your question. You can't affirm me, but how you gonna
- 13:20Speaker 8: tell us you can?
- 13:24Speaker 1: Now?
- 13:24Speaker 2: If you won't just feel that way about yourself? Congratulations.
- 13:30Speaker 8: We know.
- 13:33Speaker 2: We're sitting here looking at you.

- 21:01Speaker 1: you're listening Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 21:05Speaker 1: of the hour. In Entertainment News, the Democratic National Convention
- 21:08Speaker 1: wrapped in Chicago, and we will highlight our favorite moments.
- 21:12Speaker 1: WNBA's angel reethe inked a deal with Reese's Pieces candy

- 21:32Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey, Here we go. Marcus in Saint
- 21:36Speaker 1: Louis writes, My oldest friend is a single female and
- 21:40Speaker 1: she wants a baby. We've never had sex, and I'm
- 21:44Speaker 1: not attracted to her. She's forty two, so time is
- 21:47Speaker 1: running out. She asked me for my specimen to make
- 21:51Speaker 1: a baby. Is she asking for too much? Should I
- 21:54Speaker 1: consider it?
- 21:56Speaker 2: Why are you stupid? Don't get in this?
- 22:01Speaker 8: You don't see child support? Wrote on this record. I
- 22:04Speaker 8: don't see that. You don't see that because I do.
- 22:09Speaker 8: That's right. You look at her, Listen to me, look

- 22:19Speaker 8: more of that request.
- 22:20Speaker 2: We free you. First of all, let's just deal with somebody.
- 22:24Speaker 2: She want a baby. I'm not attracted to us, so
- 22:27Speaker 2: she said, all she want is just specimen.
- 22:30Speaker 8: So you don't have to be attracted to her to
- 22:32Speaker 8: get the specimens, because they can get the specimen in
- 22:34Speaker 8: another way.
- 22:35Speaker 2: But now you needed why you're not attracted to her.
- 22:40Speaker 2: You need to go through that through your head. It's physical.
- 22:44Speaker 2: He's just not well. We need to take into consideration
- 22:51Speaker 2: what the baby gonna look like. Take that into consideration.
- 22:56Speaker 8: Now, if you two put off body, mama, what is
- 22:59Speaker 8: y'all feend to make? It's what I'm saying, you might
- 23:02Speaker 8: want to consider the baby on this one before you
- 23:05Speaker 8: bring the baby into this world.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Really, never he or she gonna have to look like her.
- 23:11Speaker 9: You are wrong.
- 23:12Speaker 8: You already ain't attracted to her. Why would you do
- 23:15Speaker 8: that to a baby? Can you watch my baby while
- 23:20Speaker 8: I go to the store. M m, hey be sitting
- 23:23Speaker 8: up in here looking at this love as baby? How
- 23:26Speaker 8: long you gonna be at the stove?

- 23:33Speaker 2: I could do thirty minutes. For this is your baby too.
- 23:40Speaker 2: You're just supposed to give you a ziplock bag with
- 23:42Speaker 2: my baby. That's what I'm yeah, Oh.

- 23:51Speaker 1: in South Haven, Tadrick says, my girlfriend moved in with
- 23:54Speaker 1: me and she's a slob. I have makeup smeared on
- 23:58Speaker 1: the bathroom counter and she leaves the ring on the
- 24:00Speaker 1: tub after her nightly bath. She suggested we get a housekeeper?
- 24:04Speaker 1: Do I make her clean up? Or hire someone?
- 24:07Speaker 8: Mabe, Let's let's back up a little bit. A woman
- 24:13Speaker 8: leave a ring around the bathtub? You know how dirty shit?
- 24:20Speaker 8: I know dudes do, But no, what's she work at?
- 24:26Speaker 8: She got a job wherever it is clearly is clearly

- 25:19Speaker 3: All right?
- 25:20Speaker 1: Moving on to Alicia in Memphis, Alicia writes, my husband
- 25:23Speaker 1: opened the catering business and he's getting a lot of
- 25:25Speaker 1: negative reviews because his food is salty or it's not
- 25:29Speaker 1: hot when he serves it. He doesn't take criticism. Well,
- 25:33Speaker 1: so do I stop giving him feedback. How do I
- 25:36Speaker 1: help him if he won't listen?
- 25:38Speaker 8: M coil and one thing that will help him for sure?
- 25:44Speaker 8: As the sales is dropping much?
- 25:49Speaker 2: Who the hell you know? I want some cold salt
- 25:54Speaker 2: ass food. I can't do cold and soft.
- 26:00Speaker 8: Even chicken ain't good when it's cold and salty. No,
- 26:04Speaker 8: Now I eat a piece of cold chicken.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but the salt thing, yeah.
- 26:10Speaker 8: Hey man, Speaking of that, I got a partner that's
- 26:13Speaker 8: pusiting game. And he is real regular, you know, and
- 26:18Speaker 8: like he is offended by the things in my house.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Like what what do you mean?
- 26:24Speaker 8: Like you know, we having a cup of coffee. He
- 26:26Speaker 8: asked me, hey man, you don't have no real sugar,
- 26:30Speaker 8: and I went, yeah, dog is right down the table.
- 26:33Speaker 8: He said, but it's brown though.
- 26:36Speaker 2: That's wrong. I said yeah.
- 26:40Speaker 8: He said, you ain't got no Domino white you know,
- 26:45Speaker 8: you know, you know white sugar, I said. I said, no,
- 26:50Speaker 8: brown sugar is better than white sugar. I said, really really,
- 26:53Speaker 8: I used mostly stiffer, but okay. So then he got
- 26:57Speaker 8: a piece of watermelon, so I gave him. He eats
- 27:02Speaker 8: salt on his watermelon and I used to do that too.
- 27:04Speaker 8: I ain't gonna problem, so we set the salt in
- 27:08Speaker 8: front of it. My chef set the salt in front
- 27:09Speaker 8: of it, and he looking at it. He said, hey man,
- 27:13Speaker 8: you got some real salt. Yeah him, Celtic salt, Celtic
- 27:20Speaker 8: sea salt. He said, now I want regular salt. I said, look, look,
- 27:26Speaker 8: I called him something else because it just so, I said,
- 27:30Speaker 8: I said, look look look blankety blank you think we fit.
- 27:35Speaker 8: They had this little box with the white girl with
- 27:36Speaker 8: the rain coat up. We don't have that in him,
- 27:39Speaker 8: no one, he said, damn. So then we eating breakfast
- 27:45Speaker 8: and we get some some toast, and I got some preserves.
- 27:49Speaker 8: You know, I use natural preserves, you know, because I'm
- 27:52Speaker 8: on my farm. You know, we make stuff down here
- 27:55Speaker 8: with with with grapes and stuff like that and strawberries.
- 27:58Speaker 8: He said, hey man, what is this? So it's in
- 28:03Speaker 8: a it's in a container with a lid on it,
- 28:05Speaker 8: with a little spoon in it. Everything.
- 28:07Speaker 2: It's real nice. I'm saying, it's it's jam but preserved. Damn, man,
- 28:13Speaker 2: you ain't got no welchis Hey man, no, we ain't
- 28:16Speaker 2: got none of that.
- 28:18Speaker 8: Great said, I'm so frustrated with this dude. Have you
- 28:23Speaker 8: checked his blood pressed up dog I'm he got.
- 28:28Speaker 2: He got a lot.
- 28:29Speaker 8: He got a lot of health issues, and I'm saying, look, man,
- 28:32Speaker 8: you gotta start eating some of this healthy stuff. It's
- 28:35Speaker 8: all right, I don't like that. That flavor different your
- 28:39Speaker 8: fat ass. It's gonna rest around and die, don't I
- 28:43Speaker 8: This dude don't like nothing. I got nothing.
- 28:47Speaker 1: You can't change his talent for steak.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Okay, let me take dinner last night, tomahawk wygu steaks.
- 28:53Speaker 8: That's what the chef. How would y'all like your steaks?
- 28:58Speaker 8: I told him, mother, pardon that, told him he's said,
- 29:00Speaker 8: well done. The chef stopped and just looked at it,
- 29:02Speaker 8: and he said, I think that'll ruined the meat, he said,
- 29:06Speaker 8: So I convinced him to just eat it medium plus.
- 29:10Speaker 8: It came out before he bit it. He said, y'all
- 29:14Speaker 8: ain't got no a one one your plane, all right?
- 29:23Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:25Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you right after this, you're listening
- 29:30Speaker 1: morning show. The Democratic National Convention is over and it
- 29:36Speaker 1: was a legendary week. Such powerful speeches and outstanding performances
- 29:40Speaker 1: as Democrats promoted and celebrated the Harris campaign. Kamala Harris
- 29:45Speaker 1: for president and Tim Walls for Vice president. So I
- 29:48Speaker 1: know we all had a chance to see it this week.
- 29:50Speaker 1: It was electrifying and all of that. So what were
- 29:53Speaker 1: you some of your favorite moments that you can think
- 29:56Speaker 1: of from the convention? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, roll call
- 30:08Speaker 1: Kidrick Lamar not like US.
- 30:15Speaker 14: Obama and uh president Vice President Harris her speech.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Last night, Oh yes, she was. She was phenomenal. Tim
- 30:25Speaker 1: Walt like Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Hillary and Bill Clinton,
- 30:31Speaker 1: Bill down to Bill Clinton had the room mesmerized. You
- 30:36Speaker 1: can hear ting drop in there when Bill Clinton was speaking, son,
- 30:42Speaker 1: that's my dad. Oh he was so emotional Tim Walt's
- 30:45Speaker 1: son crying and saying, that's my dad up there about
- 30:49Speaker 1: to be two v pea. Usually you hear your dad
- 30:52Speaker 1: saying that's my son, but he was like, that's my
- 30:56Speaker 1: up there. You know who else I liked? I liked
- 31:00Speaker 1: m v P husband Doug m Hoff the way he
- 31:05Speaker 1: laid off me. Yeah, m v P Madam vice president.
- 31:08Speaker 16: Oh yeah, because I'm going.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Mad vice president VP.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Anyway, she is an m v P. But yeah, her
- 31:23Speaker 1: husband's speech talking about their love story, how they met Dougie, yeah,
- 31:29Speaker 1: and how he quit his job. He's supporting her. I mean,
- 31:32Speaker 1: you don't hear that a lot from a man who
- 31:34Speaker 1: takes a backstep to let his wife shine, Like he's
- 31:38Speaker 1: allowing her just for her loving light to just shine,
- 31:42Speaker 1: her joy to just shine. I loved his speech.
- 31:45Speaker 15: Had a great speech.
- 31:47Speaker 2: En Jeffery speak.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Mary, What did he say? Uh, we we
- 31:54Speaker 1: broke up with you, Donald Trump, just keep circling.
- 31:58Speaker 15: Yeah, boy, we broke up with you for a reason.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Yes, bro, we broke up with you for a reason.
- 32:05Speaker 16: Bro, it's not working pression.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Yeah, great, great moments great.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yes, So we are so excited.
- 32:14Speaker 14: I love the fact that MVP is surely madam Vice President.
- 32:20Speaker 2: We got work to do. We got work to do.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I love how this.
- 32:23Speaker 14: Week, this past week, she was also campaigning in Wisconsin
- 32:28Speaker 14: at the same time, same time, at the same time,
- 32:31Speaker 14: having rallies and the DNC. That lets you know how
- 32:35Speaker 14: important of a swing state Wisconsin is. Yeah, y'all have
- 32:41Speaker 14: to get out and vote, pay attention to what's going on.
- 32:45Speaker 14: You cannot sleep this one out. That's what y'all did
- 32:47Speaker 14: in twenty sixteen. And then we all woke up shocked.
- 32:52Speaker 3: We did.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Priest he was shocked too, right that. Yeah, the popular vote.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Van Jones up there your car?
- 33:02Speaker 16: Yeah, yes, So it.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Was really Oprah's speech was good as well.
- 33:08Speaker 2: She even, let me tell you something, Oprah looked amazing.
- 33:11Speaker 8: I can't joining in this conversation too much because I
- 33:15Speaker 8: didn't watch a lot of the DNC because I was
- 33:19Speaker 8: I'm already know what I'm gonna do, right vote, I'm
- 33:23Speaker 8: voting in pushing and I didn't get the ten thousand
- 33:26Speaker 8: dollars that brother Umar said that you stop still pushing anyway,
- 33:32Speaker 8: But Oprah looked amazed.
- 33:35Speaker 2: I've never seen Oprah look like this. I mean, she
- 33:38Speaker 2: she was.
- 33:39Speaker 8: She looked amazing. I'm talking about just physically. Yeah, she
- 33:43Speaker 8: looked really good.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Oh man, she's an independent, she said, she's a registered independent,
- 33:50Speaker 1: and she wanted all the independence and the undecided to
- 33:53Speaker 1: get to the polls and vote for Harris Waltz.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 1: And then there were a lot of Republicans there saying,
- 34:00Speaker 1: you know, just because you vote for Harris doesn't mean
- 34:02Speaker 1: you're not a Republican. It just means you're a patriot, you.
- 34:06Speaker 8: Know, Yeah, because well you know you're just look man, yeah,
- 34:10Speaker 8: you know you have to if they would just look
- 34:13Speaker 8: at their candidate.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I don't mind the Republican platform. It is what it is.
- 34:18Speaker 8: It's different than the Democratic pract form. That's what makes
- 34:21Speaker 8: this country what it is. You get to be how
- 34:23Speaker 8: you want to be. A conservative, a liberal, you can
- 34:26Speaker 8: be a moderate, whatever you want to be. I've not
- 34:30Speaker 8: voted for Republican presidents in the past, but I didn't
- 34:33Speaker 8: have a problem with Bush.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I didn't really have a problem with Reagan.
- 34:37Speaker 8: I thought they did, you know, a really really decent job,
- 34:41Speaker 8: both of the Bushes, Reagan, I saw it.
- 34:44Speaker 2: But this candidate that they have right now.
- 34:48Speaker 8: And the reason the DNC convention looked different than the
- 34:53Speaker 8: Republican all those former presidents spoke on behalf of a
- 34:59Speaker 8: common look and Waltz, all those former you didn't have
- 35:04Speaker 8: that at the Republican Not one former Republican president has
- 35:09Speaker 8: come out to endorse Donald Trump because they know.
- 35:14Speaker 2: And you've got to wonder about that. Why has not one.
- 35:19Speaker 8: Single Republican former president came out to endorse him. None
- 35:26Speaker 8: of the Bushes, what you have, Neil mat we're all
- 35:28Speaker 8: the people that was, you know, and all he wants
- 35:31Speaker 8: supporting him is that.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Weak ass Ted Cruz with his weak ass man.
- 35:38Speaker 8: Yo, I'm gonna tell you right now, you in here
- 35:39Speaker 8: call my wife ugly and talk about my daddy every
- 35:43Speaker 8: time I see you's on site.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Broum. Well let's go. Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 1: It was greatness, it really was, and congratulations through all.
- 35:57Speaker 1: So yeah, so now we got work too. Yeah, our time.
- 36:00Speaker 1: We got to do our job. Now they did their job.
- 36:03Speaker 1: We got to do our job and get out to
- 36:05Speaker 1: those polls and vote. All right, guys, coming up in
- 36:07Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, we'll tell you where you
- 36:09Speaker 1: can catch Steve Harvey this weekend. Right after this, you're
- 36:14Speaker 1: listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, So, Steve, you are

- 36:29Speaker 2: what I want to.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Ask you about? Your fee, your ten thousand dollars fee,

- 37:43Speaker 8: I hope he cool with it, you know, because I
- 37:45Speaker 8: don't want to just sit there and just chummy chummy
- 37:48Speaker 8: because I know him, you know what I mean. And
- 37:50Speaker 8: we can't talk sports because this is about business and
- 37:54Speaker 8: things of that nature.
- 37:55Speaker 2: But it's also about brand.
- 37:56Speaker 8: Because whenever I speak as a motivational speaker, I give
- 38:00Speaker 8: you the mindset. My focus is always the mindset of
- 38:05Speaker 8: being successful. How to fix what's going on between your ears.
- 38:11Speaker 8: You got to fix that up. If you don't straighten
- 38:14Speaker 8: that out.
- 38:16Speaker 2: You have no chance. You have no chance. And so
- 38:20Speaker 2: that's what I focus on.
- 38:22Speaker 8: Man, And I got a new project that's coming out
- 38:24Speaker 8: with a couple of other men that we put together
- 38:27Speaker 8: a new program and it's going to really allow me
- 38:30Speaker 8: to share my angle with people because I got some
- 38:36Speaker 8: stuff man, people have never heard before that they know
- 38:39Speaker 8: nothing about.
- 38:41Speaker 14: But you know what I love about Steve going to
- 38:43Speaker 14: invest vest and hearing him speak even if you can't
- 38:47Speaker 14: make it, or even if you what am I trying
- 38:49Speaker 14: to say? Even if you're not investing, or you don't
- 38:51Speaker 14: have your financial money in order, he drops those jewels
- 38:55Speaker 14: and those knowledge that you can apply in all aspects
- 38:59Speaker 14: of your life. You know, if you're bawling, you're bawling
- 39:03Speaker 14: on the budget, you're trying to get there because he's
- 39:06Speaker 14: been there, right, He's been there everything of the way.
- 39:09Speaker 8: Yeah, yes, and that's been you know, that was part
- 39:12Speaker 8: of my journey because and I used to question God
- 39:14Speaker 8: all the time about that because I didn't get it there.
- 39:17Speaker 8: I didn't get why this route? But you know if
- 39:22Speaker 8: because he said, I'm taking you somewhere, and so this
- 39:24Speaker 8: has got to beat the route.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Yeah, So invest us this weekend in Atlanta. Keynote speaker
- 39:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey now coming up next. I don't know if

- 54:18Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew Tommy. Subject to my friend, my husband,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and my mother. Dear Stephen Shirley. I wrote in about
- 54:26Speaker 1: my husband helping out my best friend after her husband died.
- 54:29Speaker 1: My mother visited us from Nigeria and said, and she
- 54:33Speaker 1: told me that I was giving my husband permission to cheat,
- 54:36Speaker 1: and I didn't want to believe her. I got so
- 54:39Speaker 1: offended by what she said because I trusted my husband.
- 54:43Speaker 1: My mom wasn't having it, and she was so persistent
- 54:46Speaker 1: that she told me to pass by my friend's house
- 54:49Speaker 1: after we picked my son up from preschool. My husband's
- 54:52Speaker 1: truck was on the side of my friend's house, not
- 54:55Speaker 1: in her driveway, but on the side of her house
- 54:58Speaker 1: a little ways up from her house. She told me
- 55:01Speaker 1: to park the car and call my husband. He didn't
- 55:04Speaker 1: add to the phone, so my mom was trying to
- 55:06Speaker 1: get me to go to my friend's door. I refused
- 55:09Speaker 1: to go to her door, and I didn't call her
- 55:11Speaker 1: because my mom was too fired up. My husband came
- 55:15Speaker 1: home an hour later and I told him I called him.
- 55:19Speaker 1: He said his phone died. He said he was at
- 55:22Speaker 1: my friend's house getting a wasp nest off her patio.
- 55:27Speaker 1: My mother raised up and told him that we drove by,
- 55:30Speaker 1: saw his truck and called him, and he ignored us.
- 55:33Speaker 1: He said it was because he was getting the wasp nest.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Then he showed us that his phone was dead. Mom
- 55:41Speaker 1: called him a liar, and I wanted her to back
- 55:43Speaker 1: down and get out of our business. He yelled at
- 55:46Speaker 1: me and said that my mom is all in my
- 55:49Speaker 1: head and he hasn't done anything. He swore that he
- 55:52Speaker 1: would never help my friend again. That night, my husband
- 55:56Speaker 1: said he wants my mother to go home immediately. Should
- 55:59Speaker 1: I truytus him or listen to my mom? Well, first
- 56:04Speaker 1: of all, we got to be interested. Thank you for
- 56:07Speaker 1: the follow up letter. Thank you, Steve, Thank you for
- 56:10Speaker 1: this follow up letter. We appreciate you you writing us
- 56:13Speaker 1: back and letting us know what's going on. And I
- 56:15Speaker 1: have to ask you, what does your gut say? Because
- 56:18Speaker 1: you are feeling something right now that's why you wrote
- 56:21Speaker 1: us again with this follow up letter. Things a little
- 56:23Speaker 1: off for you. Your mom has put that in your head,
- 56:26Speaker 1: like your husband said, and so much so that you
- 56:28Speaker 1: drove by your friend's house and saw your husband's truck
- 56:31Speaker 1: parked suspiciously on the side of the house, not in
- 56:35Speaker 1: the driveway like you said. But you didn't follow through.
- 56:39Speaker 1: You didn't go and knock on the door and see
- 56:42Speaker 1: for yourself what was going on. But you did call
- 56:44Speaker 1: your husband's phone and he didn't answer. Uh oh, So
- 56:50Speaker 1: now you're confused because you want to continue to trust
- 56:52Speaker 1: your husband, and you don't want to believe the worst
- 56:55Speaker 1: about your friend, and you definitely don't want to agree
- 56:58Speaker 1: with your mom that something's going on. But it's not
- 57:00Speaker 1: looking good for your husband right now. It's just not
- 57:03Speaker 1: He said he would never help your friend again. I
- 57:05Speaker 1: think that's a great idea. She should get someone else
- 57:08Speaker 1: to do her work. True, your mom should not be
- 57:11Speaker 1: in your business. She should not be in your business.
- 57:13Speaker 1: But in her defense, if her suspicions ring true, she's
- 57:17Speaker 1: not going to stand by and watch her daughter get hurt.
- 57:19Speaker 1: No mother would do that. Your husband wants your mother
- 57:22Speaker 1: to go home. That could only be for two reasons.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Either she's wrong for budding in your business, or she's
- 57:29Speaker 1: right about him and your friend. That's it, Steve, I.
- 57:33Speaker 8: Totally one hundred percent disagree with Shirley, you know, y'all.
- 57:40Speaker 2: First of all, this lady's writing a follow up letter.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Follow up.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so she had written in and.
- 57:48Speaker 8: Told us that her mother was visiting from Nigeria and
- 57:51Speaker 8: she had suspicions about her husband, but the wife didn't.
- 57:55Speaker 8: The wife has had no suspicions of her nothing. So
- 58:00Speaker 8: now the suspicion is because she asked her husband to
- 58:06Speaker 8: help her friend because her husband had passed and she
- 58:11Speaker 8: needs some help. That's the reason that the man is
- 58:14Speaker 8: over there. But now Shiry said, trust your intuition. What
- 58:20Speaker 8: is your intuition telling you? Her intuition, her gud ain't
- 58:23Speaker 8: telling her nothing. It's her damn mama. Her intuition didn't
- 58:28Speaker 8: have no suspicion. This is her old ass mama who
- 58:33Speaker 8: ain't got no man. I don't know how to keep
- 58:37Speaker 8: a man.
- 58:38Speaker 13: Now.
- 58:38Speaker 8: I want to tell her daughter how to get rid
- 58:41Speaker 8: of the one she got. This letter is sickening to
- 58:45Speaker 8: me and Shirley's response, this response is not the proper response.
- 58:54Speaker 8: You know I wrote in about my husband helping out
- 58:56Speaker 8: my best friend after her husband died, you asked him
- 58:59Speaker 8: to do that. My mother visited from Nigeria and she
- 59:03Speaker 8: told me I was giving my husband permission to cheat.
- 59:06Speaker 2: And I didn't want to believe her. And I was
- 59:09Speaker 2: offended by what she.
- 59:10Speaker 8: Said because I trusted my husband, which means her gut
- 59:16Speaker 8: wasn't telling her anything. Her mom, her damn mom, and
- 59:22Speaker 8: she still ain't felt nothing. My mom wasn't having it,
- 59:25Speaker 8: and she was so persistent. She told me to pass
- 59:27Speaker 8: by my friend's house after we picked up my son
- 59:29Speaker 8: from preschool. My husband's truck was on the side of
- 59:33Speaker 8: my friend's house, not in her driveway, but on the
- 59:37Speaker 8: side of her house, a little ways up from her house.
- 59:41Speaker 8: What hell he parked his truck at what is that
- 59:43Speaker 8: a description of? On the side of her house, not
- 59:47Speaker 8: in the driveway, but up from her house. Lady, what
- 59:52Speaker 8: you see? We picking the straws now. She told me
- 59:55Speaker 8: to park the car and call my husband. He didn't
- 59:58Speaker 8: answer the phone, so my mom was trying to get
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: me to go to my friend's door. I refuse I
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: and I didn't call her to go to her doing.
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: I didn't call her because my mom was too fired up.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: My husband came home an hour later. I told him
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: I called him, and he said his phone died. You
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: hear that his phone died, And then he said he
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: volunteered disinformation right quick. He said he was at my
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: friend's house getting to wash nest off her patio. She
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: didn't ask him what he was doing.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: All right, hang on, Steve, We'll have part two of
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: hour of today's Strawberry letter subject my friend, my husband
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: and my mother. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter, my friend, my husband and
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: my mother.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: This is a follow up letter.
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: A lady wrote us and told her mother was visiting
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: from Nigeria and she had suspicions about her husband cheating
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: because her She told her daughter, you gave him permission
- 1:01:02Speaker 8: to cheat by sending him over to her best friend's
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: house to help her fix some things because her husband
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: had passed.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Why is your messy ass mama?
- 1:01:13Speaker 10: In this?
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: Shirley said, what does your gut tell you well, she said.
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: In the letter, she said, I was giving my husband
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: permission to cheat. This is what her mother said, and
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: I didn't want to believe her. I got so offended
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: by what she said because I trusted my husband, so
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: she didn't have no intuition that her husband was up
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: to something and doing something. Her mama put this in
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: her head. Shirley, she.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Busybody, asked mama. So she was so persistent in it.
- 1:01:49Speaker 8: After they picked up the kid from school one day,
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: told her to drive by your friend's house. My husband's
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: truck was on the side of my friend's house, not
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: in her driveway, but on the set of her house,
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: a little ways up from her house. Okay, I don't
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: know what that means, but what she told me the
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: part con call my husband. He ain't answer the phone.
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: So my mom was trying to get me to go
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: to my friend's door. I refused to go to the door,
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: and I didn't call her because my mom was too
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: fired up. My husband came home an hour later. I
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: told him I called him. He said his phone died.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: But I'm gonna show you what makes this one so good,
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: because see me, that would be the perfect lie.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: My phone died.
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: I charged it up in the car on the way here.
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: That would have been perfect lie. But he said my
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: phone died. He said he was at my friend's house
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: getting a washed nest off her patio. You didn't ask
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: him what he was doing, He said, I called you
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: at my friend's house. You ain't answering my phone. He said, well,
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: my phone died. I was getting the washed nest off
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: your friend's patio. That's easy to confirm. Ask your friend
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: if she had a washing nest. Okay, my mother raised
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: up this lonely, raggedy by herself ass old ass woman
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: raises up and says, that's not nice. She in this
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: man business. That ain't nice. Her raggedy, busybody. No man,
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: having asked Mama, that's who this he is? Raised up
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: and told him we drove by, saw your truck, You called,
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: and you ignored us. He said it because he was
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: getting the washed nest. How you gonna answer the phone
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: if it's dead, ain't get the washing down. Then he
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: showed us, come on, my man, that his phone was dead.
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: My man come through. So now he didn't even lie
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: like I'd have did it, because I'd of lied and
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: said my phone was dead. Then I charged it in
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: the call the way home. He ain't even do that.
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: So this bro even took My mom called him a liar.
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: Why is your ass miss negative by your self, asked
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: mama in law, calling the man a liar. And I
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: wanted her to bag down and get out of her business.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: She been in your business. Shit she got there.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: He yelled at me and said that my mom is
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: all up in my head and he ain't done nothing.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: And guess what. There is no proof other than your mama's.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: Suspicion that you gave your husband permission to cheat when
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: you told him to go over your best friend's house
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: whose husbands had.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Died and help her out. That's all it is.
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: And your mama came to the conclusion that if you
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: tell a man to go over your best friend's house,
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: you gave him permission to cheat. That's a theory of hers.
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: He swore that he would never help my friend again.
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: He says, it's cool. I ain't helping her, no data,
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: I'm out of this help. That night, my husband said
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: he wants my mother to go home immediately. I won't
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: hide my house. Should I trust him or listen to
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: your mom?
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Okay. Now here's your options with that.
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: First of all, if you trust your husband based on
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: the information he's done nothing, You have no information that
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: your husband is cheating. You have no text messages, you
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: have no pictures, you have no late night phone. He
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: ain't hiding his phone from you, your girlfriend. You ain't
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: saying your girlfriend acting funny. Now, you ain't saying none
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: of that. Nothing says your husband is cheating. So should
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: I trust him, okay? Or should I listen to my mama? Yeah,
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: listen to your mama. Go get some divorce papers, file
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: for divorce, and put in the paperwork infidelity, and then
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: go to court with your infidelity facts.
- 1:06:00Speaker 15: For the house.
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: Tell him you don't want him no more, go on
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: back out there and try to find you a new husband,
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: and listen to your mama. Leave him and get a
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: divorce and never speak to this man again. And then
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: make you know when you don't put out irrest irreconcilable differences,
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: put in the paperwork infidelity, and then let's go to
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: court with your infidelity proof, and let's see how that
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: go for you. If you listen to your mama, you're
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: gonna end up like your mama. House from Nigeria without
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: a man, and now she don't want nobody else to
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: have a man because your daddy cheated on her.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: All right, leave your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter on

- 1:10:29Speaker 1: This one is from raynell in Birmingham. Raynelle says, I'm
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: a Baptist and I've been at the same church for
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: ten years. We got a new preacher and he's blocked
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: off the first four rows in the center of the
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: church for his VIP members. The seats are based on
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: what we contribute to the church. After service, everyone stays
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: seated until the VIP section clears out. I feel like
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: I'm not good enough for my own church. Should I
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: get comfy in the back or find a new church.
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: Why don't you just give some more money, because obviously
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: you want up front. That sounds like what it is
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: to me them four rolls is troubling you dead center.
- 1:11:10Speaker 8: Just give more money your answers in the front. I
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: ain't never heard of that, but you know it.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: Is what it is, you all right.
- 1:11:21Speaker 14: In l A.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: They have VAP sections in churches. I don't know if
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: it's based on how much money.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: Is that based on money?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: No, I don't think so. I just think because you're
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: a vi P.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I mean they got that in l A.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: I know they do that.
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: I know that.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: I've been in the VIP.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Section that's at church.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: That's why we don't really go much because of that.
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: You're all up in the front off to the side
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: on the left.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: They all see you. They be zero on in, they be,
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: they be down there by your car when you get out,
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: they know your car. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not a.
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: Fan of that at all. Church should be everybody is equal.
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: You know, we all sent a saved by Grace. I
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: don't care for the VIP section. Yeah, you know, just
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: go get comfy in the back off, become a VP.
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: All right, we have time on your Starbucks color.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: We have time for another one, Steve. This is from
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: John and Shreveport. John says, my ex girlfriend passed away.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: We dated for seven years and I was going to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: marry her, but I didn't have my life together back then.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: My wife knows about my history with my ex. So
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: she supported me when I decided to go visit my
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: ex and hospice. My wife even prayed for her with me.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: So why is she tripping about me going to her funeral?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Should I go pay my respects and deal with my wife? Afterwards?
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: She prayed for her? What was she praying? Forward? Donald,
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: See what are you saying? Was it a was it
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: an open prayer? Did you hear it? Or was it
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: was quiet?
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: Because that's what you got out of the yeah, because
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: like right now, she gone, so what was what was
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: your wife prayer?
- 1:13:14Speaker 15: The fact?
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know, and it wasn't no out loud prayer.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: So I mean.
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: She had a prayer, she went to hospice with you,
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: visited her and then pray for her. Well now she gone, yeah,
- 1:13:30Speaker 8: stop saying that.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: I'm just saying.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you know, we did it all pray
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: and she goes, now she doesn't want him to go
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: to the funeral.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: So what do you say?
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: So now you know, maybe the prayer God answered. Now
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: she won't know why you down at.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: The funeral because I already prayed for this.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: See, because you know obviously you're gonna be down at crying,
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: laying all on top of the casket. You know sure'
- 1:14:01Speaker 8: won't see that. Why is she tripped? I'll tell you
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: what dog gone down there? But I'm telling you right now,
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: I mean you can go to I understand that bro
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: dated for seven years. You was gonna marry it, but
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: you ain't had your life together. I got a and
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: you was in love. You know you done went to
- 1:14:22Speaker 8: the hospice and prayed for she gone.
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: But should he pay his respects? Should he go to
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: the funeral?
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: Funerals ain't for the dead. Funerals is for the living.
- 1:14:32Speaker 8: You you can call it paying your respect all you
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: want to, but down, down, down't know you there. It's
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: so other people can know you there and make comments
- 1:14:42Speaker 8: about you being that that's what a funeral is for
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: and you it really is, man, It's really not for
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: the deceased.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: It's for the living. So so you know, yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: just gonna go to the funeral, doll, But you not cry.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: I'm just kicking.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: Swimming.

- 1:15:07Speaker 1: after this. If you want to, you're listening Hardy Morning Show. Okay,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: so listen to this, you guys. A twenty eight year
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: old Indiana woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Why because it was all over and all you can
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: eat for fifteen ninety nine special at Applebee's. The lady
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: and a few of her friends ordered the all you
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: can eat special, not knowing it was fifteen ninety nine
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: per person. Now, when the manager told them that each lady,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: each one of them had to pay fifteen ninety nine
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: per person, the lady started screaming at him. They said
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: that the promotion doesn't state that, so they're not paying
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: fifteen ninety nine each. The Applebee's manager then called the
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: police while the ladies continued screaming at him, and a
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: rest warrant stated that multiple females were yelling outside. When
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: police arrived, the officers showed the ladies the promotions rules
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: print it on the menu, which state that all you
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: can eat is fifteen ninety nine per person.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Please tell me, please come on with some pole mess
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: right here. Pole and fat.
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: You know, you could be a fat person in a
- 1:16:23Speaker 8: little body, but you really got to be a big
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: ass person to get arrested for fifteen dollars worth for
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: food though, and how you know good and hair.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Well, it's fifteen ninety nine per person.
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: You know you can't come in there take fifteen dollars
- 1:16:38Speaker 8: and you'll just say, hey, come on over here and
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: eat at this table, your raggedy ass. And now she
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: and jail out there argat and cuss it? Were they black?
- 1:16:47Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: They wire?
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Oh god?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Would you rather coming up at thirty three minutes after?
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Ah? Hell?

- 1:18:24Speaker 8: Do you know the times, the joy that me and
- 1:18:29Speaker 8: my genitals have had? Do you know the memories the moment?
- 1:18:36Speaker 8: Do you know how much I would miss him? I

- 1:20:16Speaker 2: This is Anthony Anderson, This is People, This is Kirk Franklin.

- 1:20:21Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: This is your boy, Kevin Hart. I can't call it
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: this your man said entertainer. And you're listening to the
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: That my doubt you're listening morning show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day, our
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: last break of the week. This has been quite a
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: week politics and everything. Yeah yeah, vice president vice presidential
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: nominee and Kamala Harris, yeah, presidential and we have a
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: vice presidential nominee in Jim Waltz. It's been an exciting week.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Heard some exciting speeches, just everything. So we know what
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: we have to do now. They laid out their case
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: and we know as voters what we have.
- 1:21:08Speaker 8: To do, you know, yeah, you know it's yeah, we
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: understand the assignment. You know, under the Republicans are saying
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: the Democratic Convention was filled with them not stating any
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: platforms of what they was gonna run on anything. Uh,
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: We're running on one simple thing. You can decide to
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: have Donald Trump, or you could decide to have Madam
- 1:21:33Speaker 8: Medam Vice President Kamala Harris. You can decide for decency
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: or or you can decide for for what he represents.
- 1:21:43Speaker 8: You know, you could decide for honesty or y or
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: you can go for deceit. You know, you can go
- 1:21:48Speaker 8: for character, or you can go for ill repute. Which
- 1:21:52Speaker 8: which which one you want to pick? You want to
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: pick dignity or class lists? Uh, you picked the president
- 1:22:01Speaker 8: and that's what's coming down for us. So that's it,
- 1:22:03Speaker 8: all right, that's good.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: Listen. I want to keep encouraging people, and I want
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: to just put this out there for you. You know,
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: listen to me.
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: I've done a lot of things in my life, and
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, as
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: have many of you. Matter of fact, not many of you,
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: all of you. You've all done a lot of things
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: at whatever level you are. I'm just talking about wherever
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: you're at right now.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: To get there.
- 1:22:35Speaker 8: You've had to go through a lot of different things.
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: That's a fact. And you all have made a lot
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: of mistakes, that's a fact. But let me tell you
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: something you cannot do. You cannot give up. You must
- 1:22:52Speaker 8: take that off the table as an option immediately. You
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: must determine that you will never give up, no matter
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: what besets you will, no matter what befalls you, no
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: matter how bludgeoning the chance, it don't matter. You can
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: never give up. That is the one thing that I
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: have held on to. It has been right after my faith,
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: my belief in God. Right after that, that has.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: Been it for me.
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: That has been the cornerstone of my success. You just
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: can't give up. You've got to stay with it. You've
- 1:23:32Speaker 8: got to fight through. It's gonna work out, but you
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: gotta believe that.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:23:38Speaker 8: But I tell you right now, if you give up
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: your guarantee one thing, you will not succeed.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: And then you got to pick your heart. You know,
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you something to it.
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: You just got to understand that it's going to be hard,
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: but everything in life is hard. You have to pick
- 1:23:54Speaker 8: your heart, you know, getting fit, going to the gym
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: and working out and trying to get fit.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: It's hard, but being obese is hard, So you get
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: to pick your herd.
- 1:24:10Speaker 14: You know.
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: Look, trying to become successful financially is hard. It's hard
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: to become financially independent. It really is hard. But I
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: have news for you. It's hard being broke. It's really hard.
- 1:24:28Speaker 8: You have to pick your hard now because it's hard.
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: It's hard to do the right thing. It is really
- 1:24:36Speaker 8: hard to wake up consciously and decide, Man, today I'm
- 1:24:40Speaker 8: just gonna do the right thing.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: But let me tell you something. You keep doing the
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: wrong thing. It's hard. It's hard. It's hard.
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: All of its hard, y'all. You just have to make
- 1:24:53Speaker 8: the decision. It's hard to decide to eat right, to
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: eat healthy. Yeah, but it's hard if you keep eating
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: that junk food though, it really does get hard. What
- 1:25:12Speaker 8: I'm saying to you is it's going to be hard,
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: but you have a choice to make. You get to
- 1:25:18Speaker 8: decide which hard you will accept. Okay, So it is
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: hard to get fit, it really is. But it's hard
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: to be obese, right, But guess what, After you become fit,
- 1:25:33Speaker 8: look at the benefit. But after you become obese, look
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: at the benefit too.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 1:25:41Speaker 8: You understand, it's hard to become financially independent and it's
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: hard to be broke. But if you pick the benefit
- 1:25:50Speaker 8: of becoming financially independent, there is a benefit to that.
- 1:25:55Speaker 8: Show me the benefit of being broke. So even though
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: both of them is hard, you get to pick your heart.
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: You get to decide if you want to do the
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: right thing every day. That's hard. But if you decide
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: to just do what you want to do and do
- 1:26:11Speaker 8: it however you want to do right or wrong, that's
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: hard too. There's a benefit to doing the right thing.
- 1:26:18Speaker 8: What is the benefit for doing the wrong thing? So
- 1:26:22Speaker 8: y'all make up your mind what you're gonna do today.
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: Which one of the herds are you going to pick?
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: Because all of it is hard, So you might as
- 1:26:32Speaker 8: well buckle down and get and get ready for that.
- 1:26:35Speaker 8: Get you some faith in God, get your relationship with
- 1:26:37Speaker 8: God so he can help you handle the heart, because
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: the heart is coming either way you choose. I just
- 1:26:43Speaker 8: choose to accept the more positive results so I can
- 1:26:46Speaker 8: have some options. Those are my closing remarks. I have
- 1:26:49Speaker 8: a great day today. Hey listen, everybody, talk to God.
- 1:26:52Speaker 8: He'd absolutely love to hear from you. Congratulations, Tommy two
- 1:26:57Speaker 8: years cancer free.
- 1:26:58Speaker 12: Bro.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: Appreciate you. Yeah much love to you boy. And Junior, Yeah, Junior.

- 1:27:10Speaker 8: It's gonna be some mess at your house. You're gonna
- 1:27:12Speaker 8: have yellow tape all around your damn house. I'm gonna
- 1:27:16Speaker 8: stop all that. All these dead people sitting up here
