Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdic with Center, Ted Kruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you. It's nice to have you with us on
- 0:06Speaker 1: this Memorial Day. And Senator, we're going to do a
- 0:08Speaker 1: special show today. We are going to play an interview
- 0:11Speaker 1: that we did recently with Tom Homan which really went
- 0:15Speaker 1: viral and if you missed it, it was an important
- 0:17Speaker 1: one about border security. But before we get to that,
- 0:20Speaker 1: I do want to take a moment and for us
- 0:22Speaker 1: to just say thank you to everyone that's ever served
- 0:25Speaker 1: this country and to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice,
- 0:28Speaker 1: and families that are listening right now, Memorial Day for
- 0:31Speaker 1: them is a very somber day.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Well it is in a Memorial Day.
- 0:36Speaker 3: We want to take a moment to reflect and think
- 0:39Speaker 3: back and say thank you to every soldier, every sailor,
- 0:42Speaker 3: every airman, em or marine, every coastguardsman, every guardian who
- 0:47Speaker 3: gave their lives for our nation. You know, Memorial Day
- 0:51Speaker 3: is a very different holiday from Veterans Day. Veterans Day
- 0:53Speaker 3: we say thank you to our active duty military. We
- 0:56Speaker 3: say thank you to those who have served, and we
- 0:59Speaker 3: should do that today and every other day, but Memorial
- 1:03Speaker 3: Days set aside for those who gave the last full
- 1:06Speaker 3: measure of demotion, the the ultimate sacrifice, those who stepped
- 1:10Speaker 3: forward and gave their lives. And every liberty we have,
- 1:14Speaker 3: every breath we breathe as free Americans is because men
- 1:19Speaker 3: and women have answered the call. They've answered the call.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Going back to the Revolutionary War, to the War of
- 1:24Speaker 3: eighteen twelve, going to the Civil War, World War One,
- 1:27Speaker 3: World War II, going forward to Korea, to Vietnam, to
- 1:31Speaker 3: the War on Terror. We have had service men and
- 1:35Speaker 3: women for two hundred and fifty years stepping forward and
- 1:38Speaker 3: saying America is worth fighting for, and I'm willing to
- 1:43Speaker 3: die for America. And far too many of them have
- 1:46Speaker 3: had to give that final sacrifice. And so I want
- 1:50Speaker 3: to say I want to give a special shout out
- 1:52Speaker 3: to gold Star families. If you're a mom or dad,
- 1:56Speaker 3: if you are a wife or husband, if you are
- 1:59Speaker 3: a son or daughter of a service man or woman
- 2:02Speaker 3: who gave their lives, let me just say thank you,
- 2:06Speaker 3: We appreciate you, and let me tell you your loved
- 2:11Speaker 3: one is not forgotten. The sacrifice that your loved one
- 2:16Speaker 3: is given. We are grateful and we know our freedom
- 2:19Speaker 3: is because of that sacrifice. Look Memorial Day is a
- 2:23Speaker 3: great time. I hope you spend time with your kids,
- 2:27Speaker 3: with your spouse. I hope you play in the backyard.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I hope you grill, although I do hope when you grill,
- 2:33Speaker 3: you do a better job of grilling burgers than Chuck
- 2:35Speaker 3: Schumer does. So do not put the cheese on raw burgers.
- 2:38Speaker 3: That that is a sign been to that a messed
- 2:41Speaker 3: up New Yorker who's never actually had a barbecue in
- 2:44Speaker 3: his life. But for anyone that actually lives on planet Earth,
- 2:47Speaker 3: have a great backyard barbecue, play with your kids, swim
- 2:51Speaker 3: in the pool.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Laugh.
- 2:52Speaker 3: But take a moment and let me encourage you. For
- 2:55Speaker 3: all the parents out there, take a moment to talk
- 2:58Speaker 3: to your kids and tell them, hey, you may think
- 3:01Speaker 3: Memorial Day is the beginning of summer. Maybe school is over,
- 3:04Speaker 3: finals are over, now you just get to play, But
- 3:06Speaker 3: this is a day.
- 3:08Speaker 2: There are kids your age.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Today who are not playing with their dad, who are
- 3:14Speaker 3: not hugging their mom because they gave everything for this
- 3:17Speaker 3: country and we need to pause and give thanks and
- 3:20Speaker 3: just say we love you and we are grateful.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Aim into that. And I couldn't agree with you more.
- 3:26Speaker 1: There's so many people today that it is a tough day.
- 3:29Speaker 1: It's a day that they're going to have to they
- 3:31Speaker 1: sit and they talk and they remember their family members
- 3:34Speaker 1: to get the ultimate sacrifice this country. And the way
- 3:36Speaker 1: you said, explain it to your kids and your grandkids,
- 3:39Speaker 1: say you know it truly what this day is about.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And also enjoy your family. There's no doubt about that, Senator.
- 3:45Speaker 1: We also decided on this holiday that there was a
- 3:48Speaker 1: really important interview that we had just done recently with
- 3:52Speaker 1: Borders Are Tom Homan, and it was one that went viral,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and if you missed it, we're going to play that
- 3:57Speaker 1: for you today because it was such a important reminder
- 4:01Speaker 1: of what is happening right now with our border and
- 4:03Speaker 1: security and fighting to protect our kids from fetnyl and
- 4:07Speaker 1: the drug trafficking and the human trafficking that's coming into
- 4:10Speaker 1: this country. And it was a really it was a
- 4:12Speaker 1: really exciting interview that we just did.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Absolutely, Tom Homan is doing a great job and President
- 4:19Speaker 3: Trump is doing a great job securing the border, and
- 4:22Speaker 3: our families are safer because of it. It was a
- 4:24Speaker 3: mandate from this last election. The chaos, the open borders
- 4:28Speaker 3: we saw for four years were it was a deliberate
- 4:31Speaker 3: political decision by the Democrats and the successes. Look, look
- 4:36Speaker 3: I believed, and we talked in this podcast about the
- 4:39Speaker 3: successes we were going to have if if we wanted
- 4:41Speaker 3: November secure in the border. But I have to say,
- 4:44Speaker 3: the magnitude, the speed, the scope of it defies any
- 4:50Speaker 3: reasonable expectation. And so this discussion with Tom Homan, many
- 4:54Speaker 3: of you listened to it, and yet yet a whole
- 4:56Speaker 3: lot of people didn't, And so we thought it was
- 4:58Speaker 3: worth putting out a second time because because it's really
- 5:00Speaker 3: powerful what's happening at the border, and it's something that
- 5:03Speaker 3: the corporate media does not want to report, which is
- 5:07Speaker 3: why this podcast is important, because we can get information
- 5:09Speaker 3: out that ABC, CBS, NBC, C and NMSNBC will never
- 5:14Speaker 3: acknowledge exists. And that's the value of every one of
- 5:18Speaker 3: our listeners. So let me say, listen to it, but
- 5:20Speaker 3: also share it with your friends, your family, make sure
- 5:24Speaker 3: they listen to it as well.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Absolutely so, without further ado, here is that conversation we
- 5:30Speaker 1: have with the borders. Are Tom Homan, and Happy Memorial
- 5:32Speaker 1: Day to everyone. God bless all you that serve this
- 5:34Speaker 1: country and those that gave the ultimate sacrifice, will remember
- 5:37Speaker 1: you today.
- 5:38Speaker 5: As well.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Well.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Tom Homan is serving as President Trump's Borders are. He
- 5:43Speaker 3: is the former acting director of the US Immigration and
- 5:46Speaker 3: Customs Enforcement and he has been Borders are since since
- 5:50Speaker 3: Trump resumed office as president. His formal title, which I like,
- 5:55Speaker 3: is what White House Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and
- 6:00Speaker 3: Removal Operations. And to be clear, his job is to
- 6:03Speaker 3: secure the border, keep US safe, and remove dangerous illegal aliens.
- 6:08Speaker 2: He's doing a hell of a job. Tom, Welcome to Verdict.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Thanks for having me.
- 6:13Speaker 3: So let's start with just how are we doing. We're
- 6:17Speaker 3: four months in, almost five months into the Trump presidency.
- 6:22Speaker 3: How are we doing? Tell us what has happened since
- 6:25Speaker 3: President Trump became president again?
- 6:27Speaker 2: On the border?
- 6:29Speaker 4: Well, President Trump today, I'm talking to today Santa Cruz.
- 6:32Speaker 4: We have the most secure border in the history of
- 6:35Speaker 4: this nation today and most secure board ever. I mean
- 6:39Speaker 4: we even beat Trump forty five. Well, we hand the
- 6:42Speaker 4: Biden administration most secure boarder ever ahead of that time. Well,
- 6:45Speaker 4: the data is even better now. And let me give
- 6:47Speaker 4: you a few numbers, just a few numbers. Under Biden administration,
- 6:51Speaker 4: we were dealing with ten eleven thousand, even a few times,
- 6:54Speaker 4: fifteen thousand aliens Today yesterday it was two hundred and eleven.
- 7:00Speaker 4: We went from thirteen fourteen thousand to two hundred and eleven.
- 7:05Speaker 2: And that's across the entire southwest border.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Yes, gotaways under Biden an average gtaway day and under
- 7:12Speaker 4: Biden was eighteen hundred plus eighteen hundred plus. What was
- 7:17Speaker 4: the gataways yesterday? Thirty nine Wow. And then the most
- 7:21Speaker 4: impressive number the first one hundred days on President Trump
- 7:25Speaker 4: compared to the first at the same time period last
- 7:28Speaker 4: year under Biden. Biden released over one hundred and eighty
- 7:31Speaker 4: four thousand illegal animates in this country. The Trump administration
- 7:37Speaker 4: one there was nine releases, but for more material witnesses.
- 7:41Speaker 4: As you know, we want them to come here to
- 7:43Speaker 4: testify in the Cargol trial. So form we want to command.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Four came across the border in such bad shape that
- 7:49Speaker 4: we had to call an ambulance and take care of
- 7:51Speaker 4: the medical and each we had an allowment in decided
- 7:53Speaker 4: to do medical treatment. But we had one one discretionary
- 7:57Speaker 4: release compared to one hundred and eighty four or a
- 8:00Speaker 4: thousand released under the same time period or in Biden.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Most Secure Border Historistination INTERI Enforcement Offerings ICE's arrested three
- 8:07Speaker 4: times more criminals than Biden did during the same time period.
- 8:11Speaker 4: We got more to rest, we got many more to rest.
- 8:14Speaker 4: But they're already hitting the ball out of park and
- 8:17Speaker 4: we're gonna keep doing it. We need to do more
- 8:18Speaker 4: of it. And we're hoping for a budget real soon
- 8:20Speaker 4: here so we can step up efforts there. But it's
- 8:23Speaker 4: it's game changing. President Trump's been a game changer, and
- 8:26Speaker 4: men and women, vice and men women border stood up,
- 8:29Speaker 4: tooking on the task and cousinent Trump did in seven weeks,
- 8:32Speaker 4: but Joe Biden couldn't or wouldn't do in four years.
- 8:35Speaker 3: My favorite line from from President Trump's most recent State
- 8:37Speaker 3: of the Union address it is when he said, you know,
- 8:41Speaker 3: Joe Biden stood here a year ago and said that
- 8:43Speaker 3: he couldn't secure the border without new legislation passing Congress.
- 8:47Speaker 3: And then Trump said, it turns out we didn't need
- 8:50Speaker 3: new legislation, We just needed a new president. And and
- 8:54Speaker 3: that's powerfully true. So let me ask just just a
- 8:56Speaker 3: simple question for those Look, you're you're an immigr expert,
- 9:00Speaker 3: but for someone at home, how did the numbers drop
- 9:04Speaker 3: so precipitously, What specifically are y'all doing differently than what
- 9:09Speaker 3: Joe Biden Kamala Harris did.
- 9:12Speaker 4: The biggest thing we've done is a president's executive orders
- 9:15Speaker 4: that were a game changer, remain in Mexico a game changer.
- 9:20Speaker 4: I have the third sid Country Agreement a game changer,
- 9:23Speaker 4: and finally ending catcher release. People know you come to
- 9:26Speaker 4: a border, Now you're not being released, and we're just
- 9:29Speaker 4: followed the law because, as you know, under federal statue,
- 9:33Speaker 4: nailing arrives at our border without proper documentation to enter
- 9:37Speaker 4: the languages, you shall be detained. Now maybe not thinking
- 9:41Speaker 4: about it, not problem shall And that's exactly why we're doing.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Those three things by themselves have been a major game changer,
- 9:47Speaker 4: and all three of them were executive orders by President Trump's.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You mentioned budget a moment ago and how important it
- 9:54Speaker 1: is to have the budget for you guys to continue
- 9:56Speaker 1: your job.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Explain for everyone listening.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Is that referencing the big beautiful bill and what is
- 10:02Speaker 1: in there that you need so much to continue to
- 10:05Speaker 1: do your job at the border.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Well, we want to make the border secure permanently, so
- 10:09Speaker 4: we need more infrastructure, right, so we need to finish
- 10:12Speaker 4: building that wall. Now, let's be clear. Every place they
- 10:14Speaker 4: build a border barrier, illegal migrations went down, illegal drug
- 10:18Speaker 4: flow went down. But most important, walls save lives. Women
- 10:22Speaker 4: and children can't get over that wall, the most vulnerable,
- 10:24Speaker 4: so they go to a place so there's not a
- 10:26Speaker 4: wall on what's waiting on them the men and women
- 10:28Speaker 4: of the borderatral first of all. So the ball saves lives.
- 10:31Speaker 4: So we need to finish the border barrier. We need
- 10:32Speaker 4: money to finish the technology within the existing border wall,
- 10:36Speaker 4: because not only did President buy and stop the construction
- 10:39Speaker 4: of the wall, he stopped adding the technology in that
- 10:41Speaker 4: smart wall. Technology that let's just know when someone climbs
- 10:44Speaker 4: that wall, touch this wall, dig on under that wall.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Technology where borbitual agents in the middle of nowhere can
- 10:50Speaker 4: get on the radio and use the wall as a
- 10:51Speaker 4: repeater to talk to other agents for help. There are
- 10:54Speaker 4: some places on the southern border where they lose all communications.
- 10:57Speaker 4: So all that technology needs to be done. More technology,
- 11:00Speaker 4: get port of entries to make sure no Ventana's coming through.
- 11:04Speaker 4: And as far as the entire enforcement, we need beds.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Right now, we got about fifty two thousand people in detention.
- 11:10Speaker 4: We're funder that thirty four thousand ICE is already in
- 11:12Speaker 4: the hole. We need about one hundred thousand beds because
- 11:16Speaker 4: everybody we arrest needs a bet. We just don't rest
- 11:18Speaker 4: somebody in New York City and put them on a
- 11:20Speaker 4: plane leave. We got to detain them for several days
- 11:22Speaker 4: or several weeks to get travel doctrins, get flight flight arrangements,
- 11:26Speaker 4: flight finances. So we need bets. So we need you know,
- 11:29Speaker 4: so this budget, that the depending budget right now, the
- 11:31Speaker 4: big beautiful bill, will give us some money for those beds.
- 11:33Speaker 4: They're going to give us thousands of more borgage license,
- 11:36Speaker 4: thousands more ICE agents. It's going to give ICE a
- 11:39Speaker 4: budget to bring in more contracts up. What I mean
- 11:42Speaker 4: by that badges and guns shouldn't be sitting at a
- 11:44Speaker 4: desk doing reports of processing. They shouldn't be sitting at
- 11:49Speaker 4: a desk doing travel documents and all the all the
- 11:52Speaker 4: administrative duties that occur within ICE. You can have a
- 11:56Speaker 4: contractor sitting there doing that work. Give that badging gun,
- 11:59Speaker 4: get them out on the stree to arrest the public
- 12:01Speaker 4: safety thrusts and national security threats. So we needed the money.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Like I said, we're doing more than Biden did. But
- 12:06Speaker 4: Biden wasn't doing anything. We need to do ten times
- 12:09Speaker 4: more than buying it too, not three times more. And
- 12:11Speaker 4: I'll leave you with this. We got seven hundred thousand
- 12:13Speaker 4: illegal aliens in this country with a criminal conviction walking
- 12:16Speaker 4: the streets this country. We got it gain and we
- 12:19Speaker 4: got to gain it quickly. We got one point four
- 12:21Speaker 4: man illegal aliens who do have due process that great
- 12:24Speaker 4: taxpayer expense. We're ordered removed by a federal judge and
- 12:27Speaker 4: didn't leave and they become fusitives. We got a lot
- 12:30Speaker 4: of work to do and we need money to do more.
- 12:32Speaker 4: We're doing good, but more money we have, the more
- 12:35Speaker 4: we can do well.
- 12:36Speaker 3: And Ben, I'll say this that that Congress, we will
- 12:39Speaker 3: get this Reconciliation bill passed. It's gonna take time, it's
- 12:42Speaker 3: gonna be bumpy, but we'll get it done. And when
- 12:44Speaker 3: we get it done, we're gonna have funding to build
- 12:46Speaker 3: the wall. We're gonna have funding for technology on the wall.
- 12:48Speaker 3: We're gonna have funding for more border patrol agents. We're
- 12:51Speaker 3: gonna have funding for more ice agents. We're gonna have
- 12:53Speaker 3: funding for more detention beds. We're gonna have funding for
- 12:55Speaker 3: more fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. We're gonna have
- 12:58Speaker 3: funding for more drones and more infra and technology. We
- 13:02Speaker 3: are stepping in now. It's going to take a little
- 13:03Speaker 3: bit of time to get the bill across the finish line,
- 13:06Speaker 3: but I'm confident we'll do it. And i will say
- 13:09Speaker 3: it really underscores something we've said on Verdict many times,
- 13:13Speaker 3: which is the most important factor in securing the border.
- 13:16Speaker 3: And this is what Tom said just a minute ago.
- 13:19Speaker 3: It is a policy decision, and it is a decision
- 13:22Speaker 3: what happens when you apprehend an illegal immigrant.
- 13:25Speaker 2: And if the answer is you put them on a
- 13:28Speaker 2: plane and.
- 13:28Speaker 3: You fly them back home. They all have cell phones.
- 13:31Speaker 3: They pick up their phones and they call home and
- 13:33Speaker 3: they say, don't come. They're not letting you stay. And
- 13:36Speaker 3: the flip side is true if when you apprehend them,
- 13:39Speaker 3: you let them go. You say what city do you
- 13:40Speaker 3: want to go to? And you put them on a plane,
- 13:42Speaker 3: you put them on a bus, and you let them
- 13:44Speaker 3: go in every city in America, which is what Joe
- 13:45Speaker 3: Biden was doing. Again, they all have phones. They pick
- 13:49Speaker 3: up the phone, they call their friends and family, and
- 13:51Speaker 3: the numbers skyrocket.
- 13:53Speaker 2: And so when.
- 13:55Speaker 3: President Trump left office the first time he had produced
- 13:59Speaker 3: the lowest rate of illegal immigration in forty five years.
- 14:02Speaker 3: That's what Joe Biden inherited. It immediately skyrocketed to the
- 14:06Speaker 3: worst rate of illegal immigration in history. Joe Biden allowed
- 14:10Speaker 3: twelve million of the illegal immigrants to come into this country.
- 14:14Speaker 3: And regular listeners of Verdict will recall I predicted, I said,
- 14:18Speaker 3: we will see the numbers plummet, and it won't take
- 14:22Speaker 3: a year. It won't even take six months. It will
- 14:24Speaker 3: happen immediately because on day one, catch and release is
- 14:28Speaker 3: going to end and we're going to see the numbers plummet.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Now all that being said, Tom, let me ask you honestly,
- 14:34Speaker 3: I will admit I predicted loudly that the numbers would plummet.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I'll confess I didn't think they'd drop over ninety nine percent.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Are you I'm surprised at just how massive the success is.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Are Are you a little bit surprised or.
- 14:49Speaker 4: No, I'm not surprised for all the success. I'm surprised
- 14:53Speaker 4: how fast that happened. When President Trump, when he called me,
- 14:56Speaker 4: asked me to be the borders our, of course I didn't.
- 14:57Speaker 4: His day came back and the first meeting he had,
- 15:00Speaker 4: he asked me, how long will it take you down
- 15:02Speaker 4: the secure the border. I says, sir, I need I
- 15:04Speaker 4: need at least one hundred and twenty days. He says, well,
- 15:07Speaker 4: they get a ninety. I said, sir, I'll respect one
- 15:09Speaker 4: hundred and twenty days, even pushing that. We did this
- 15:13Speaker 4: in seven weeks. Seven weeks, numbers already down yep, ninety.
- 15:17Speaker 4: And you're exactly right. Everything you said was right. But
- 15:19Speaker 4: I want to add one thing. When Joe Biden opened
- 15:21Speaker 4: that border up, he's the first president in the history
- 15:24Speaker 4: of this nation who came into office and unsecured a
- 15:27Speaker 4: border on purpose. This wasn't mismanagement, this wasn't incompetence. He
- 15:31Speaker 4: ran on open borders, and that's exactly what he did.
- 15:34Speaker 4: You know, So when you tell the whole world enter
- 15:37Speaker 4: this country legally, don't worry about it. We're gonna release
- 15:39Speaker 4: you anyways. And when you got a secretary of ma
- 15:41Speaker 4: orkerst on ice, you can't arrest somebody for being here
- 15:44Speaker 4: illegally unless they got a serious criminal conviction. The whole
- 15:47Speaker 4: world's going to come. You can cross the border illegally,
- 15:50Speaker 4: you get released in twenty four hours. We won't give
- 15:52Speaker 4: you a free plane ticket to the city of your choice.
- 15:54Speaker 4: We're going to put you in a free hotel room.
- 15:56Speaker 4: We're going to give you three meals a day, We're
- 15:58Speaker 4: going to give you free medical attention, and guess what,
- 16:00Speaker 4: hang out for one hundred and twenty days. We're going
- 16:02Speaker 4: to give you a work ass position. The very reason
- 16:04Speaker 4: they came hery not because of film, because they wanted
- 16:06Speaker 4: a job. So Biden did what he did, I'm purposed,
- 16:10Speaker 4: and President Trump came back in seven weeks again seven
- 16:14Speaker 4: weeks did what Joe Biden couldn't do or wouldn't do.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Repeat the numbers you said about how many illegals are
- 16:21Speaker 3: in the US right now who have criminal convictions, And
- 16:24Speaker 3: to be clear, these are convictions for crimes other than
- 16:26Speaker 3: crossing illegally into the country. Every illegal has committed that crime.
- 16:30Speaker 3: But how many have convictions for murder, for rape, for
- 16:33Speaker 3: other crimes other than crossing the border illegally.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Just under seven hundred thousand.
- 16:40Speaker 3: I mean, that is a stunning number. And what you're saying,
- 16:44Speaker 3: and I agree with you, is is that Joe Biden
- 16:46Speaker 3: deliberately chose We're going to leave murderers here, We're going
- 16:51Speaker 3: to leave rapists in America, We're going to leave child
- 16:54Speaker 3: molesters in America. We're not going to send ice to
- 16:57Speaker 3: arrest them, We're not going to pick them up, We're
- 16:58Speaker 3: not going to deport them. That they put partisan politics
- 17:02Speaker 3: above protecting American families, about protecting our kids.
- 17:07Speaker 4: That's why I woke up every four years pissed off
- 17:10Speaker 4: every morning. President Trump when he called me, asked me
- 17:12Speaker 4: to come back, and he said to me, we've been
- 17:14Speaker 4: even vidging about for four years. Want to come back
- 17:16Speaker 4: and fix it. And I did because I knew every
- 17:18Speaker 4: morning I wake up, and Senator you know this just
- 17:20Speaker 4: as well as I do. I knew every morning when
- 17:23Speaker 4: I woke up, how many children died acrossing the borders
- 17:25Speaker 4: last night, how many women got sexually assaulted, how many
- 17:28Speaker 4: people on terrace Roster's got across the border, how many
- 17:31Speaker 4: women and children were sex trafficking this country. How many
- 17:34Speaker 4: billions of dollars in the cartels make how many Americans
- 17:36Speaker 4: died in the last twenty four hours from Fetanah coming
- 17:39Speaker 4: across the open border. For four years, I was pissed off.
- 17:42Speaker 4: President Trump came back, like I said, in seven weeks,
- 17:45Speaker 4: we had a border down ninety percent in seven weeks,
- 17:47Speaker 4: So you know, like you said, it was matter of president,
- 17:51Speaker 4: the matter of enforce the law. You know, I'll tell
- 17:53Speaker 4: you it's in a cruise. And you know, every time
- 17:55Speaker 4: I see in the meeting, every time I see you
- 17:57Speaker 4: in the meeting, I call you out, I call you
- 18:00Speaker 4: off because you've been a tip of the speer on
- 18:01Speaker 4: this thing. I appreciate your working us. You're from Texas,
- 18:04Speaker 4: you know, and God bless Governor Abbit and Governor Abbitt
- 18:07Speaker 4: did he was more of a Secretary of Homeland Security
- 18:09Speaker 4: moral we've ever been orherever thought of being, so, God
- 18:12Speaker 4: blessed date of Texas. They took the first rail on
- 18:14Speaker 4: this and again, I can't thank you enough. Every time
- 18:17Speaker 4: I see I call you out, thank you for being
- 18:19Speaker 4: the tip of the spear. I see you everywhere wanting
- 18:22Speaker 4: the secure border, and you're fighting hard for me, and
- 18:24Speaker 4: you're fighting hard for the men and women the border
- 18:26Speaker 4: toe you're fighting hard for the men and women of Ice.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I love each and every one of those men to
- 18:30Speaker 4: put their live line for this country every day, men
- 18:33Speaker 4: and women, and I appreciate your fight for them. You've
- 18:35Speaker 4: had their six and day one and I love you
- 18:38Speaker 4: for it. I appreciate it.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Well, Tom, let me thank you for that I appreciate that,
- 18:42Speaker 3: and I appreciate your passion and commitment. You were, you're
- 18:45Speaker 3: showing up, and you said something that I think is
- 18:47Speaker 3: really important for our listeners to understand. You and President
- 18:51Speaker 3: Trump right now are quite literally saving lives. You are
- 18:55Speaker 3: saving lives. There are Americans, and there are a significant
- 18:59Speaker 3: number of Americans who are alive today because a violent
- 19:04Speaker 3: criminal did not cross the border, was not released, and
- 19:08Speaker 3: didn't murder them. There are women who have not been
- 19:11Speaker 3: raped because you've stopped the Biden practice of releasing rapists.
- 19:15Speaker 3: There are children, and the number of children who haven't
- 19:18Speaker 3: been physically and sexually assaulted by human traffickers it is
- 19:23Speaker 3: already I think, well into the thousands. And I want
- 19:26Speaker 3: you to think about that. Thousands of little girls, thousands
- 19:30Speaker 3: of little boys have not been violently, repeatedly raped by
- 19:35Speaker 3: human traffickers.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Why.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Because President Trump came in and because you've been the
- 19:40Speaker 3: borders are implementing it and secured the border, and those
- 19:43Speaker 3: kids are no longer being trafficked. That is a profound
- 19:47Speaker 3: legacy in just four or five months.
- 19:50Speaker 4: And let me go one step further. Of Trump asked
- 19:53Speaker 4: me to do three things security border run, the large,
- 19:56Speaker 4: largest deportation offers I have ever seen and find these
- 19:58Speaker 4: children administration, over half a million children were smuggling in
- 20:04Speaker 4: this country, separated from their family, smuggling this country and
- 20:07Speaker 4: put in the hands of sponsors, many unvetter sponsors. The
- 20:10Speaker 4: last administration lost track of three hundred thousand of them.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Those an't trumps committed to finding as many as you can.
- 20:16Speaker 4: We've already found over seventy five hundred of them. Wow,
- 20:19Speaker 4: someone were firfte, safe with family, Some were perfectly safe,
- 20:22Speaker 4: and some weren't. Example, just there for yes, say a
- 20:25Speaker 4: fourteen year old little girl already sex traffic was pregnant,
- 20:29Speaker 4: living with two men who are trafficking there where they're
- 20:31Speaker 4: going to prison, and we're helping that little girl. So
- 20:34Speaker 4: we're going to rescue every one of these little girls
- 20:36Speaker 4: and make sure that they're safe. Because many of them
- 20:39Speaker 4: are going to be okay with family members. They just
- 20:41Speaker 4: didn't respond to followings or so forth. But many, I guarantee,
- 20:44Speaker 4: I've been doing this for over forty years. Many of
- 20:46Speaker 4: them are in sex trafficking, many of them are in
- 20:48Speaker 4: forced labor, living a life of hell every day. We're
- 20:52Speaker 4: committed to find every one of these little children and
- 20:54Speaker 4: making sure they're safe.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Tom, you mentioned finding them all. Let's talk about sanctuary
- 20:59Speaker 1: cities for a second. It's very clear Democrats are not
- 21:02Speaker 1: backing off of that.
- 21:04Speaker 5: How dangerous is the policy?
- 21:06Speaker 1: And and and who is being harbored in these cities
- 21:10Speaker 1: that are refusing to work with you guys?
- 21:12Speaker 5: Will there be accountability?
- 21:14Speaker 1: Are they harboring MS thirteen gang members and domestic terrorists,
- 21:18Speaker 1: foreign terrorists? Uh, those that are putting the fetnoel out
- 21:21Speaker 1: in society. How dangerous are these cities?
- 21:25Speaker 4: You know, they're the dangerous, the dangerous for everybody because
- 21:28Speaker 4: in the sanctuary city means I don't have access to
- 21:30Speaker 4: the jail, arrest a bad guy public safety threat in
- 21:33Speaker 4: the safety and security of the jail, where the alien safe,
- 21:36Speaker 4: the officers safe, on the public safe. When sanctuary cities
- 21:40Speaker 4: knowingly released a public safety a threat back in the street,
- 21:43Speaker 4: it certainly puts the community at risk. It even puts
- 21:45Speaker 4: the alien at risk because anything can happen during the
- 21:48Speaker 4: street arrest, and great it puts the officers that great
- 21:50Speaker 4: risk because now we've got to arrest a criminal alien
- 21:52Speaker 4: public safety threat on his turf, we as access to
- 21:55Speaker 4: who knows what weapons. It's very dangerous and natural host
- 21:58Speaker 4: sanctuary cities accountable. Fan Bindy has already fought lawsuits against
- 22:01Speaker 4: several were we're working with DJ now again. We want
- 22:07Speaker 4: we want where's that right? Where's that where's that line?
- 22:09Speaker 4: When do you cross that line? You can sit there
- 22:12Speaker 4: and watch ICE do your job. Because here's what irritates
- 22:15Speaker 4: me the most. I don't care what party you're in.
- 22:18Speaker 4: If you're an elected mayor, elect, a city council person,
- 22:23Speaker 4: or elected governor, your number one responsibility it's the safety
- 22:27Speaker 4: and security of your neighborhoods, your communities. ICE has been
- 22:31Speaker 4: clear from the beginning with President Trump, we're going to
- 22:33Speaker 4: prioritize public safety threats and national security threats. Why will
- 22:37Speaker 4: you not help us make your community safer? There's no
- 22:41Speaker 4: downside on that. And the sanctuary city is want to
- 22:44Speaker 4: argue what we're a sanctuary city because we want victims
- 22:47Speaker 4: and witnesses of crime, if they're illegally United States, to
- 22:50Speaker 4: feel comfortable coming to the law enforcement without fear of
- 22:53Speaker 4: work with ICE. That is a bunch of crap. Victims
- 22:56Speaker 4: and witnesses of crime don't want the bad guy in
- 22:59Speaker 4: the neighborhood either. And as far as the illegal alien community.
- 23:02Speaker 4: I'll say this, despite being here illegally, many of them
- 23:06Speaker 4: are god fearing family people. They don't want a prester
- 23:10Speaker 4: in they neighborhood either. They don't want someone convict to
- 23:12Speaker 4: duy ten times driving to their neighborhood either. So you know,
- 23:15Speaker 4: if you go to the immigrant community and ask one
- 23:18Speaker 4: simple question, would you rather have ICE operating in the
- 23:21Speaker 4: jail or in your community? What do you think they're
- 23:23Speaker 4: going to say. They're gonna say to jail, so sanctuousities
- 23:25Speaker 4: will be held accountable. Matter of fact, we're reissuing the
- 23:28Speaker 4: ICE detainer. We just changed the new ICE detainer. We're
- 23:30Speaker 4: letting them black and white. Let them know this person
- 23:33Speaker 4: is a designated terrorist, this person is a designated return felin.
- 23:37Speaker 4: We're gonna let them know exactly who do detaining based
- 23:40Speaker 4: on biographic and biometric information and see what they do.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Are they gonna violate relations and Riley Act, Then we'll
- 23:47Speaker 4: go out to prosecution. Now they're going to know at
- 23:49Speaker 4: least a terrorist. Then we're going to go out to prosecution.
- 23:52Speaker 4: So it's about to get a lot tougher and it's
- 23:54Speaker 4: the right thing to do.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Well, and let me ask you how worried.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Are you that they're a rist who came across the
- 24:01Speaker 3: southern border in the last four years, that are out
- 24:04Speaker 3: there and that are planning acts of terror in the
- 24:06Speaker 3: United States right now?
- 24:08Speaker 4: I'm convinced we got over two million known godeways. Why
- 24:12Speaker 4: did two million people pay more to get away? They
- 24:16Speaker 4: pay the cartels a lot more money to escape apprehension
- 24:18Speaker 4: and get to New York's Chicago. Whoever, why didn't they
- 24:21Speaker 4: pay less? Why would you pay more to get away
- 24:25Speaker 4: because you don't want to be vetted, you don't want
- 24:27Speaker 4: a two bing or printed. It's just scared to hell off.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Every American scares as hell on me. Somebody's going to be,
- 24:32Speaker 4: you know, child traffickers. Some of these are Karen Fatina,
- 24:35Speaker 4: and some of these are going to be people from
- 24:36Speaker 4: a terrort sponsored country. Under Joe Biden, we wrest over
- 24:39Speaker 4: four hundred people on terrass wass's come in the Southwest border.
- 24:43Speaker 4: If you don't think a single one of the two
- 24:44Speaker 4: man gudaways didn't come from a country sponsoring terror, didn't
- 24:47Speaker 4: come here to do us harm, then you're just crazy.
- 24:50Speaker 4: As you know it was what was it? Just not
- 24:53Speaker 4: a few months ago we arrested eight that were planting
- 24:56Speaker 4: a terrorist tack, a Russian type terrorist tack in the
- 24:58Speaker 4: United States. Luckily, he tell us, the community call him
- 25:01Speaker 4: on some chair and we are able to arrest them.
- 25:04Speaker 4: But we're not perfect an intelligence community. It's imperfect. They
- 25:07Speaker 4: weren't perfect in Afghanistan. They weren't perfect on a lot
- 25:10Speaker 4: of things. So God help us. I think they're here,
- 25:13Speaker 4: just intelligent port stander here. We know where some aren't
- 25:16Speaker 4: being monitored, but we don't know where others are. So
- 25:19Speaker 4: that scares the hell on me.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Well, and as you know, Chris Ray, the former director
- 25:22Speaker 3: of the FBI, every few months would come to Congress
- 25:25Speaker 3: and he would do everything but set off an alarm
- 25:28Speaker 3: and bang a drum to say, we are at major
- 25:31Speaker 3: risk of a terrorist attack from the open borders. Hamas
- 25:34Speaker 3: and Hesbelah have declared jahads on America. As you know,
- 25:38Speaker 3: the border patrol under Joe Biden was advised beyond on
- 25:42Speaker 3: the lookout for Hamas has Bla and Palestinian Islamic Jehad
- 25:45Speaker 3: terrorists coming across the southern border. And one of the things,
- 25:48Speaker 3: Tommy you said that was really important. Of the twelve
- 25:50Speaker 3: million illegal immigrants that came under Joe Biden. Roughly two
- 25:54Speaker 3: million of those were god aways. That's by far the
- 25:56Speaker 3: most troubling of all those folks. The other ten million
- 25:59Speaker 3: are people were apprehended, and apprehended in many instances is
- 26:03Speaker 3: the wrong term, because as you know, and I've spent
- 26:06Speaker 3: a lot of time down on the southern border, I
- 26:08Speaker 3: almost always go out on midnight patrol with the border
- 26:11Speaker 3: patrol agents when I'm there. Apprehended doesn't even characterize what
- 26:15Speaker 3: they were doing. Most nights, people would cross the border
- 26:18Speaker 3: and they'd go look for a border patrol agent and
- 26:20Speaker 3: actively turn themselves in because the result would be that
- 26:25Speaker 3: Joe Biden would say where do you want to go?
- 26:26Speaker 3: And would fly them to wherever they wanted to be. Literally,
- 26:29Speaker 3: the Biden administration was the last mile of the human
- 26:32Speaker 3: trafficking network. But Tom, what you said is exactly right.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Those two million guidaways are much more likely to be
- 26:40Speaker 3: violent criminals, much more likely to be murderers or rapists
- 26:43Speaker 3: or child molesters, much more likely to be MS thirteen
- 26:47Speaker 3: gang members, much more likely to be terrorist. And that's
- 26:50Speaker 3: the population that is most worrisome. And speaking of MS
- 26:54Speaker 3: thirteen gang members, just when I thought politics could not
- 26:58Speaker 3: get weirder. Democrats have decided to go all in, making
- 27:02Speaker 3: their central party platform be that we should admit more
- 27:07Speaker 3: illegal aliens, and in particular, we want more Venezuelan gang
- 27:11Speaker 3: members MS thirteen gang members here, and they decided that
- 27:15Speaker 3: Kilmar Abrego Garcia is their poster child for the Democrat Party. Tom,
- 27:19Speaker 3: how confident tell us about Brego Garcia? How confident are
- 27:23Speaker 3: you that he's a gang member, that he's a criminal.
- 27:27Speaker 4: I'm very confident, and I've talked to the head of
- 27:31Speaker 4: Vice numerous times. People are understanding. So he got no
- 27:34Speaker 4: due process, Yes he did. He got due process from
- 27:36Speaker 4: two different federal judges who said he's at the United
- 27:40Speaker 4: States a citizen al Salvador, and he gave up order
- 27:43Speaker 4: of deportation. He had a great two process, a great text.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Their expense on top of that manin Ice and they
- 27:48Speaker 4: sent those two plane loads of TDA MS thirteen. Hundreds
- 27:52Speaker 4: and hundreds of hours were spent on every case. They
- 27:54Speaker 4: went to the criminal history, the immigration history, They went
- 27:57Speaker 4: to intelligence report, they went to confidential performance statements, they
- 28:01Speaker 4: went to wire taps, they went to a bunch of
- 28:03Speaker 4: stuff to certify these people were members of TVA and
- 28:08Speaker 4: MS thirteen, so they got due process several times. Obrego
- 28:12Speaker 4: Garcia's home. He's a citizen Al Salvador. And for those
- 28:15Speaker 4: the Democrats said, well, they made a mistake. I still
- 28:18Speaker 4: say it was a mistake. It was an over temporary Oversecond,
- 28:21Speaker 4: here's the problem he had it withholding order, did not
- 28:23Speaker 4: returned to Al Salvador because he feared death from the gang.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Two things have changed since that order was given. Number one,
- 28:30Speaker 4: he's a designated terror so that with holding order has
- 28:32Speaker 4: been set aside. Number two, the gang he feared it
- 28:35Speaker 4: no longer exists now Salvador because the great work President
- 28:38Speaker 4: Buketi did there. So the circumstances surround that with holding
- 28:42Speaker 4: order are no longer valid. And here's what would happened.
- 28:45Speaker 4: If somebody was to make this guy return to the
- 28:48Speaker 4: United States, he would be detained and removed the next day,
- 28:51Speaker 4: if not to Al Salvador, to another country. He's not here,
- 28:55Speaker 4: but as President Boukeley said, he is a pre certified
- 28:58Speaker 4: national of Al Salvador. He is home. He is home.
- 29:02Speaker 4: He is a certified Heminister team member, not just by
- 29:05Speaker 4: ice by local police departments. Intelligience Reports, Immigration judges in
- 29:09Speaker 4: the country of al Salvador says he's emis thirty team member.
- 29:12Speaker 4: He's home is exactly where he should be. This country,
- 29:15Speaker 4: his wife, his neighborhood is a lot safer because he's
- 29:19Speaker 4: locked up.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I want to go back to accountability for a second time,
- 29:22Speaker 1: and I want to ask you there are a lot
- 29:24Speaker 1: of people that believe that there were laws that were
- 29:26Speaker 1: broken deliberately in the last administration.
- 29:29Speaker 5: They knew they were breaking the law. One of those
- 29:31Speaker 5: would be.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Former Homeland Security Secretary. My orc is that you mentioned
- 29:35Speaker 1: a moment ago. Should he be criminally prosecuted for his
- 29:39Speaker 1: role in the border crisis if it was as deliberate
- 29:41Speaker 1: as it now seems.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Look, I think what he did was borderline trees in
- 29:46Speaker 4: this I'm not an attorney, I'm not a prosecutor. But
- 29:49Speaker 4: what he did, he did more damage to this country.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Him and the Biden administration and what they did to
- 29:54Speaker 4: this country. I can tell you when they open that
- 29:57Speaker 4: border up sex trafficking women, it showed to increase tenfold
- 30:02Speaker 4: of a record number of migrants died making that journey.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Over four thousand, or record number of Americans died from
- 30:08Speaker 4: Fatanah that come across that open border, and and it's
- 30:12Speaker 4: just what he what he calls this country and from
- 30:15Speaker 4: a national securities perspective, because here's what his orders were,
- 30:19Speaker 4: process quick, release quick. They didn't care about the crisis.
- 30:23Speaker 4: They cared about the optics of the crisis. If there's
- 30:26Speaker 4: no overcrowding, there's nothing to see here. So border trades
- 30:29Speaker 4: were processed as quick as they could, and releases a
- 30:32Speaker 4: quick as they could. And there's been several instances where
- 30:35Speaker 4: they released so quickly the FBI scan didn't come back
- 30:39Speaker 4: and and it came back hot. Actually they already been released.
- 30:42Speaker 4: They came back hot. As a known spectatorian, So yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 4: what he did was uncomfortable. What he did is my
- 30:50Speaker 4: opinion borderline in treason is he should be held accountable
- 30:53Speaker 4: because a lot of deaths occurred under his watch. And like,
- 30:57Speaker 4: like Sundra Cruz said a few minutes ago, right now,
- 31:00Speaker 4: ninety six percent decline and illegal immigration when ninety six
- 31:03Speaker 4: percent less people are coming, how many women aren't being raped,
- 31:06Speaker 4: how many children aren't dying crossing a border, how many
- 31:09Speaker 4: no inspected terarists aren't getting in the country. How many
- 31:11Speaker 4: pounds of fatanyl is not getting a country? What are
- 31:13Speaker 4: you going to see in the President Trump's administration, vatanyl
- 31:16Speaker 4: deaths with decrease, sex trafficking with decrease, smuggling with decrease,
- 31:21Speaker 4: and no inspected tarors. They got no open n anymore.
- 31:24Speaker 4: Now that we got the board secure, every single Borders
- 31:27Speaker 4: religion is on the lying on patrol. During his National
- 31:30Speaker 4: Security duty under Joe Biden, it was an average most days,
- 31:34Speaker 4: an average seventy percent seven zero seventy percent of agents
- 31:39Speaker 4: were no longer on patrol. They were changing diapers, making
- 31:42Speaker 4: baby formula, making hospital runs. The last time aren't down there.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Before the election, I talked to hundreds of board plays
- 31:47Speaker 4: and told me to hang on, hang on, changes coming.
- 31:50Speaker 4: I really think President Trump's going to win. But they
- 31:52Speaker 4: told me no, we're sick of being tour station. We're
- 31:54Speaker 4: sick of being uber drivers. We process and delivered these people,
- 31:58Speaker 4: that is the very same people who pay for their smuggling.
- 32:02Speaker 4: They couldn't recruit. They couldn't people were quitting. They were
- 32:05Speaker 4: quickly for it, even as well for retirement. They couldn't
- 32:07Speaker 4: re recruiting numbers. You know, last month Ice I'm excusing
- 32:11Speaker 4: Bord Patrol had the highst recruiting numbers and the history
- 32:16Speaker 4: of that agency just last month.
- 32:18Speaker 2: That's fantastic.
- 32:18Speaker 3: And look, I will say Tom's not exaggerating at all,
- 32:23Speaker 3: Like when I would visit with border patrol agents the frustration. Look,
- 32:28Speaker 3: the men and women who sign up for the border patrol,
- 32:30Speaker 3: they do so because they're patriots. They do so because
- 32:32Speaker 3: they love America. They do so because they want to
- 32:34Speaker 3: keep our communities and our families and our kids safe,
- 32:38Speaker 3: and they want to be out on patrol. Look, these
- 32:41Speaker 3: that's what you sign up in the job. And they
- 32:43Speaker 3: were sitting there just shuffling paperwork, they were processing and
- 32:47Speaker 3: just running a revolving door to try to release as
- 32:51Speaker 3: many illegal immigrants.
- 32:52Speaker 2: As fast as possible.
- 32:54Speaker 3: That's what may orcs looked viewed as job is accelerate
- 32:58Speaker 3: illegal immigration, not stop it, but but make it go
- 33:01Speaker 3: more quickly. Let me ask you, Tom, you mentioned fentanyl.
- 33:04Speaker 3: What do we know about the numbers of fentanyl traffic
- 33:08Speaker 3: over the first four months of the Trump administration.
- 33:11Speaker 4: There's been a decrease, and I've got from three or
- 33:14Speaker 4: four different sources. The percentage of decrease is different from
- 33:17Speaker 4: every source. The problem is the CDC doesn't have good
- 33:20Speaker 4: metrics on fatanyl but look across the country. You can
- 33:23Speaker 4: see the decrease in fatanyl fatanyhls being c's on the
- 33:27Speaker 4: southern border. And it's the metrics. And that's maybe something
- 33:32Speaker 4: you all work on up there in the Senate. UH,
- 33:35Speaker 4: CDC needs a tract is more more more accurately. Like
- 33:40Speaker 4: I said, you got you got a number of deaths
- 33:42Speaker 4: reported by states. You got a number of deaths reported
- 33:44Speaker 4: by CDC. None of them match. So, but we do
- 33:48Speaker 4: know there's been a reduction. You don't see you know,
- 33:51Speaker 4: three hundred people dying every day from fantolic We did that,
- 33:54Speaker 4: did see right? We know we don't have two, you know,
- 33:58Speaker 4: nine to elevens a week happening from kid dying from Patanah.
- 34:01Speaker 4: So I don't have exact numbers, but we already see
- 34:03Speaker 4: the effects of a secure boarder.
- 34:05Speaker 3: And Tom, let me ask you also. So one of
- 34:07Speaker 3: the things we've talked about on this podcast. In twenty eighteen,
- 34:10Speaker 3: the Mexican drug cartels made roughly five hundred million dollars
- 34:15Speaker 3: from human trafficking. Last year, the drug cartels made over
- 34:20Speaker 3: thirteen billion dollars from human trafficking. That's a twenty six
- 34:25Speaker 3: hundred percent increase. Do we have any data yet, Do
- 34:28Speaker 3: you have any visibility on what has happened to the
- 34:31Speaker 3: drug cartel's revenue because one of the worst consequences of
- 34:35Speaker 3: what Biden's open border did is is it turned these vicious, murderous,
- 34:40Speaker 3: transnational criminal organizations into incredibly wealthy powerhouses and it put
- 34:47Speaker 3: huge resources in their pockets. Do do you have any
- 34:49Speaker 3: data on what's happened to their revenues?
- 34:52Speaker 4: Well, one of the first best thing President Trump did
- 34:54Speaker 4: was designated terrorist organization because these cartels have killed more Americans. Yeah,
- 34:59Speaker 4: every turn is in the world combined. We knew that.
- 35:02Speaker 4: That's why there's so mu's buy on some mech show.
- 35:04Speaker 4: The last four years cartels were fighting each other for
- 35:07Speaker 4: control of the plausas. Why because they're making record amounts
- 35:10Speaker 4: of money, smuggling people, record amount of money and trafficking women, children,
- 35:14Speaker 4: and a record amount of money moving dope across that border. Now,
- 35:18Speaker 4: with the board secure, we're hitting them where it hurts.
- 35:20Speaker 4: Smugglings down, both drugs and people trafficking is down, So
- 35:25Speaker 4: we're hitting the where it hurts. That's why the latest
- 35:27Speaker 4: intelligence force I see they're trying to produce and push
- 35:30Speaker 4: more fatanol into Asian European nations because their market here
- 35:35Speaker 4: in the United States has been so brutally attacked. I
- 35:39Speaker 4: wish what would happen is that Mexico would agree with
- 35:43Speaker 4: President Trump to let us help them take the cartels
- 35:46Speaker 4: and wipe them off the face of the ears. Because
- 35:47Speaker 4: right now they're like the holicical cartel. They're in forty
- 35:51Speaker 4: four countries around the globe. They're like a fortune five
- 35:54Speaker 4: hundred company. It's going to take the United States to
- 35:56Speaker 4: take them on. Mexico's failed for decades to do it,
- 35:58Speaker 4: and a lot of mech showing the military, police and
- 36:01Speaker 4: government presses are corrupt. I'll say this, a lot of
- 36:03Speaker 4: the corruption is force corruption. Because you're a police officer
- 36:07Speaker 4: in Mexico. You're making you know, four hundred dollars a month.
- 36:10Speaker 4: But a Mexican tartel comes up and i'llsly ten thousand
- 36:13Speaker 4: looks the other way, and you're going to take it?
- 36:14Speaker 4: Are they going to kill you and your family? I
- 36:16Speaker 4: think Mexico will be a much safer and much prosper
- 36:18Speaker 4: more prosperous country if they let President Trump help them
- 36:22Speaker 4: lepe the cartels off the face of the ear.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Look that that is absolutely right, And let me underscore
- 36:26Speaker 3: that point. A lot of people don't realize, particularly those
- 36:30Speaker 3: on the left, that that what what Joe Biden the
- 36:32Speaker 3: Democrats did, it wasn't just horribly cruel to the American people.
- 36:36Speaker 3: It was horribly cruel to Mexican nationals in Mexico. Turning
- 36:42Speaker 3: these vicious criminals into the most powerful economic force in
- 36:48Speaker 3: Mexico has increased the murder rate, the crime rate, the
- 36:52Speaker 3: kidnapping rate rate. I visited with with a Mexican mayor
- 36:56Speaker 3: of a town on the other side of the border.
- 36:58Speaker 3: And I'm not going to say which mayor because he
- 37:00Speaker 3: told me in confidence because he was afraid, but he
- 37:04Speaker 3: said in his town they had had over three thousand disappearances,
- 37:10Speaker 3: just people Mexican nationals living in Mexico who just ran
- 37:15Speaker 3: a foul of the cartel and they just disappear, and
- 37:17Speaker 3: they find mass graves and and the suffering and murder
- 37:20Speaker 3: and kidnapping. That that that that has happened in Mexico
- 37:24Speaker 3: because of the Democrats political decision I think was cruel
- 37:29Speaker 3: and horrible. And and Tom, you're exactly right that that
- 37:34Speaker 3: the US military can take out the cartels.
- 37:37Speaker 2: And we've done it before in Colombia.
- 37:38Speaker 3: President Eurreibe asked the military to come in and take
- 37:42Speaker 3: out the cartels in Colombia, and we came in and
- 37:44Speaker 3: did that, and we could do it again, and and
- 37:47Speaker 3: I do think it would be much better if the
- 37:49Speaker 3: Mexican government invited us in. It would have transformational impact
- 37:54Speaker 3: within Mexico.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Yeah, they say a lot of lives, like say, vexing
- 37:58Speaker 4: cartoons have killed foul who's of judges and prosecutors and journalists, Yeah,
- 38:04Speaker 4: and citizens. So you know, I wish they I wish
- 38:08Speaker 4: they'd joined with President Trump and that would be a
- 38:09Speaker 4: game changer, uh, for Mexico and the United Things.
- 38:13Speaker 3: All right, final question, we saw just this week that
- 38:17Speaker 3: that New Jersey Democrat Congresswoman Lamonica mac Ivor was charged
- 38:22Speaker 3: for assaulting law enforcement at an ice facility. Uh, tell
- 38:26Speaker 3: me tell us how important that is and and what
- 38:29Speaker 3: do you think about about the fact that that charges
- 38:31Speaker 3: were brought for assault. We saw during the Biden administration repeatedly, Uh,
- 38:36Speaker 3: law enforcement, Customs Border patrol ice agents were subject to
- 38:41Speaker 3: physical assault and no charges were brought. How important is
- 38:44Speaker 3: it that these charges were brought?
- 38:46Speaker 4: The Sun's a strong menses is very important and also
- 38:49Speaker 4: proves I don't bluff, I'd said from the David inauguration.
- 38:53Speaker 4: If you want to not support ICE, well, shame mind you.
- 38:55Speaker 4: But you have that right. If you want to protest
- 38:57Speaker 4: against ICE and to protest against trust policies, that's fine.
- 39:01Speaker 4: If you want to watch ICE comm in and clean
- 39:02Speaker 4: your city up because you're a sanctuary of city, don't
- 39:04Speaker 4: want to help, you can do that too. But ICE
- 39:06Speaker 4: had from day one. You can't cross that line. You
- 39:09Speaker 4: can't cross the line of impediment. That's a felony. You
- 39:12Speaker 4: can't cross the line on noially and harboring concealing the
- 39:15Speaker 4: able to go amless mice, that's a felony. You certainly
- 39:17Speaker 4: can't commit criminal trespasses at our facilities. And for God's sake,
- 39:21Speaker 4: you can't put hands on i ICE officers. And this
- 39:25Speaker 4: happened during the same time frame. The same week I
- 39:27Speaker 4: went to Blue Mass in Washington, D C. And remembrance
- 39:31Speaker 4: of the men and women in law enforce and put
- 39:33Speaker 4: their lives on the lines of this country every day.
- 39:35Speaker 4: So we spend a week just just just praising these
- 39:39Speaker 4: men and women, talking to their families who also paid
- 39:41Speaker 4: the ultimate sacrifice. They lost the loved one forever children
- 39:44Speaker 4: lost their fathers and mothers, and mothers and fathers lost
- 39:47Speaker 4: their sons and daughters in the same week we're supposed
- 39:49Speaker 4: to be honor in law enforcement. You got some of
- 39:51Speaker 4: the member coundress put their hands in shoving an ice officer,
- 39:54Speaker 4: which makes that facility very unsafe. And I'm sick and
- 39:57Speaker 4: tired of hearing what we have congression oversight responsibilities. There
- 40:00Speaker 4: is a right way and wrong way to do it.
- 40:03Speaker 4: You don't force your way in the facility. You don't
- 40:05Speaker 4: put hands on an officer. We do oversight all the time.
- 40:09Speaker 4: And what are they finding out as people are getting
- 40:11Speaker 4: tours in that facility that they have the highest detention
- 40:14Speaker 4: standards in the industry, and it puts every every other
- 40:19Speaker 4: UH detention center in jail in the state of New Jersey,
- 40:23Speaker 4: whether it is a county or state. It puts them
- 40:25Speaker 4: to shame because our detention standards are so high. So
- 40:29Speaker 4: when you go and calls that kind of practice, where
- 40:31Speaker 4: we're trying to maintain a facility with very dangerous people inside,
- 40:36Speaker 4: we got to protect not only the criminals, we got
- 40:38Speaker 4: to protect the employees and the citizens on the outside.
- 40:40Speaker 4: What she did was just horrendous she she put hands
- 40:44Speaker 4: on an officer. Like they said for four years, no
- 40:47Speaker 4: one's above the law. You're damn right. They're not above
- 40:49Speaker 4: the law, even members of Congress. The president is above
- 40:52Speaker 4: the law, but these are members of Congress.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Look amen, And I will say, Tom, I've visited dozens
- 40:58Speaker 3: of ICE facilities and CVP facilities. I've never found it
- 41:01Speaker 3: difficult to refrain from physical assault on an officer. Somehow,
- 41:06Speaker 3: that temptation was never there for me, and in fact
- 41:08Speaker 3: for the opposite. It is my job to have their backs.
- 41:12Speaker 3: That's a job I take incredibly seriously. And I just
- 41:15Speaker 3: want to say, Tom, you were a patriot. You were
- 41:17Speaker 3: a great American. We have roughly a million unique listeners
- 41:21Speaker 3: who listened to Verdict, and I want to say, on
- 41:23Speaker 3: behalf of all of them, and on behalf of thirty
- 41:26Speaker 3: one million Texans, thank you for what you are doing.
- 41:29Speaker 3: You are keeping my children safer, and Tom, I am
- 41:32Speaker 3: grateful you are on that front line for us, and
- 41:36Speaker 3: you and President Trump are making a massive difference for
- 41:38Speaker 3: the entire country.
- 41:40Speaker 4: Well, I appreciate that, but I'm not going to take credit.
- 41:43Speaker 4: Please give the thank for your listeners. You see a
- 41:45Speaker 4: borbous agent. Nice yes, just say thank you, because I
- 41:50Speaker 4: cannot believe that we knew they're going to take hate
- 41:53Speaker 4: as soon as President something got back in. But say
- 41:55Speaker 4: thank you because these men and women, their mothers and
- 41:58Speaker 4: fathers too. They don't hang their heart down the hook
- 42:00Speaker 4: at home and you go to work. They see a
- 42:02Speaker 4: lot of terrible things. They put the life on the line.
- 42:05Speaker 4: At three o'clock this morning, when everybody is sleeping, me
- 42:08Speaker 4: and Sender is sleeping. At three am this morning, there's
- 42:10Speaker 4: borbite lace and standing on a dirt trail someplace going
- 42:13Speaker 4: to take something on. They don't know if it's just
- 42:14Speaker 4: an illegal alien or heavily armed drug smunker. They're going
- 42:17Speaker 4: to take it on in the nearest back of us,
- 42:19Speaker 4: miles away. God bless the men and women of borbetow
- 42:22Speaker 4: God best and the women the vice, and God bless
- 42:24Speaker 4: this great nation. We're taking it.
