- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o man o
- 2:13Speaker 1: man wow. I think about all the things God has
- 2:19Speaker 1: done for me is overwhelming at times. And I want
- 2:22Speaker 1: everybody to have that feeling and to sharing that feeling
- 2:26Speaker 1: of completion and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because
- 2:33Speaker 1: I formed a relationship with my creator. Period. That's it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: That's it. That's it. I can't tell you is anything
- 2:41Speaker 1: else else. You know, I've always had a strong work ethic.
- 2:44Speaker 1: My father put that in me. My father's conversations with
- 2:48Speaker 1: me growing up was always constantly about work hard, don't
- 2:52Speaker 1: be lazy, be a man, do what you say you're
- 2:54Speaker 1: gonna do. Y'ada y'adda, y'ada, YadA, YadA. Man. I was
- 2:57Speaker 1: so tired of my father at times. I was going, man,
- 3:00Speaker 1: is with this dude right here? Man, every time we
- 3:03Speaker 1: have a conversation, it's got to be about work. It's
- 3:05Speaker 1: got to be about, you know, man, doing your best,
- 3:09Speaker 1: trying hard, you know, working, being honest, do what you
- 3:13Speaker 1: say you're gonna do. But that was his mission. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: can't tell you how much I appreciate that now. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: can't even I can't even put it into words when
- 3:23Speaker 1: I think about my old man and what he was
- 3:26Speaker 1: to me, and I just saw, Man, I'm so grateful
- 3:31Speaker 1: for that balance I had in my life. And then
- 3:33Speaker 1: my father was a fighter. If he fought on the weekends.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You know, my father used to come home with his was,
- 3:42Speaker 1: his clothes toe off of him. He put a fresh
- 3:44Speaker 1: shirt on, and he go back. My mom used to
- 3:47Speaker 1: talk about my father fighting all the times. Nick, Why
- 3:50Speaker 1: you're always fighting? You know a little bit of that
- 3:53Speaker 1: rubbed off on me too. You know that that kind
- 3:55Speaker 1: of got into me and I didn't understand that either.
- 3:58Speaker 1: But then on the same her and my mother was
- 4:00Speaker 1: a Sunday school teacher for forty years, so our conversation
- 4:04Speaker 1: was never about fighting or anything. It was all about
- 4:06Speaker 1: love and understanding and doing another that you would add
- 4:10Speaker 1: him do under you. My mom was a Sunday school teacher,
- 4:12Speaker 1: so I I learned about faith. I had to go
- 4:14Speaker 1: to Sunday school, prayer meeting, Bible study, young people meeting,
- 4:18Speaker 1: choir rehearsal. You know, I was a churchman so much
- 4:21Speaker 1: I was actually looking at that's got to be an
- 4:24Speaker 1: alternative to this, you know. I want you know, and
- 4:27Speaker 1: I was a little kid even I was thinking at
- 4:30Speaker 1: one point, maybe all the looking ale because it's gotta
- 4:32Speaker 1: be something cooler than this going on every day. It
- 4:36Speaker 1: got that crazy for me. But the balance between those
- 4:39Speaker 1: two people created who I am today. And I want
- 4:43Speaker 1: you to understand that the things that you are in
- 4:46Speaker 1: your past have helped create who you are today. If
- 4:50Speaker 1: you view it the right way, everything that has happened
- 4:54Speaker 1: to you in your past has happened to you for
- 4:57Speaker 1: a reason, and it's usually for the good. If you
- 5:02Speaker 1: view it that way. But if you, on the other hand,
- 5:06Speaker 1: or type of person who can't move forward because you
- 5:10Speaker 1: are allowing your past to stop you from having your future,
- 5:15Speaker 1: then you, my friend, are doing a disservice to your life.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking
- 5:25Speaker 1: advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your life. Example,
- 5:33Speaker 1: if you are a woman and you are always talking
- 5:39Speaker 1: about a formal relationship, what he did to me. If
- 5:43Speaker 1: he had not did this to me, I wouldn't be
- 5:47Speaker 1: in this place today. I thought I had a man.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Now I ain't got no man. Ah la la la
- 5:56Speaker 1: la la. If I you know, he came along and
- 5:59Speaker 1: I was doing just swell. He just came in and
- 6:02Speaker 1: he just lied to me. He lied to me. Now
- 6:06Speaker 1: that he did this to me, Then he cheated, then
- 6:09Speaker 1: he left. All of that that you're saying can very
- 6:13Speaker 1: well be true. Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere
- 6:21Speaker 1: in God's infinite wisdom, that he knew that you had
- 6:27Speaker 1: made a mistake in picking him anyway? Maybe he knew
- 6:32Speaker 1: you had made a mistake in saying yes or I
- 6:36Speaker 1: do to him anyway, or come on, move in. And
- 6:42Speaker 1: so what he did was based on your decision now
- 6:46Speaker 1: to say yes I do, or come on, let's move
- 6:49Speaker 1: in together. That was your decision. You ain't go to
- 6:52Speaker 1: him about this one. You made this decision based on
- 6:56Speaker 1: that decision and all the negative things that's all that happening.
- 7:01Speaker 1: He allowed you to get away from it. Now how
- 7:04Speaker 1: you got away from it, It's always not the choice
- 7:08Speaker 1: of ours. See, you stuck on the fact that he left,
- 7:12Speaker 1: that he walked out. But let me share this with you.
- 7:15Speaker 1: When he was there, how good was he to you?
- 7:18Speaker 1: How good was he for you? See, you got to
- 7:22Speaker 1: you got to stand. You got to look at the blessing.
- 7:25Speaker 1: The blessing is. Now you are on your own. Now
- 7:29Speaker 1: you walk in your house. Ain't nobody in there with
- 7:32Speaker 1: a disruptive spirit. Now you go home. You can take
- 7:36Speaker 1: your clothes off and walk around like you want to.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Now you go home, you can sit down and look
- 7:41Speaker 1: at TV or catch your breath if you want to.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Your kids don't have to see you're arguing all the time.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Have you looked at the blessing in it? But now
- 7:53Speaker 1: if you're gonna keep looking at the negative, then guess what.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Now you can't move forward because you keep allowing your
- 8:02Speaker 1: past to keep you from moving forward. If God has
- 8:06Speaker 1: bought you through it, why don't you move on from it? Look,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you got through it. He gone on, He ain't coming back.
- 8:14Speaker 1: He got somebody else. So you're gonna sit there and
- 8:18Speaker 1: just keep tripping costs. He gone and he got somebody else.
- 8:22Speaker 1: He Pick yourself up, Thank God for the blessing. It
- 8:26Speaker 1: didn't feel like a blessing. Why you was going through it,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and all the pain of him leaving and the divorce
- 8:32Speaker 1: and all that messed you up? Got it when you
- 8:35Speaker 1: get through it, all of that. You ain't the first
- 8:37Speaker 1: one being left. You ain't the first woman been divorced.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You ain't the first one been in a bad relationship.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Pick yourself up, Thank God for the blessing, and move
- 8:48Speaker 1: forward in your life because maybe when you quit complaining,
- 8:52Speaker 1: maybe you'll find out that God has something in store
- 8:56Speaker 1: for you that he wants you to have, but he
- 8:59Speaker 1: can't give to you if you ain't grateful. So God
- 9:02Speaker 1: gives you a blessing, but because you don't see it
- 9:05Speaker 1: as a blessing, you ain't grateful for it. Now, guess what,
- 9:09Speaker 1: You steady asking God to do something for you, but
- 9:12Speaker 1: you ain't thanking him for what he's done for you,
- 9:14Speaker 1: but you steady wanting him to do more. How does
- 9:17Speaker 1: that work? How does that work? Man? That he should
- 9:21Speaker 1: keep on giving you things when you ain't even working
- 9:24Speaker 1: with the stuff he didn't gave you. It's like your child.
- 9:28Speaker 1: If you keep buying your child a toy, and your
- 9:31Speaker 1: child keeps taying his toys up, at one point, you're
- 9:34Speaker 1: gonna say, hey, look, I'm not buying you nothing until
- 9:37Speaker 1: you learn how to take better care of the things
- 9:39Speaker 1: you bought. And that's only right that you teach your
- 9:41Speaker 1: child the value of a dollar, the value of respecting
- 9:45Speaker 1: my work ethic that I've done for you. Tell me
- 9:49Speaker 1: why it's got to work different? Just because he God,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and just cause you're dining here with your lips stuck
- 9:55Speaker 1: out about something. I just think that that's how it works.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It just makes comments. It is to me. So you steady,
- 10:03Speaker 1: Oh lord, I ain't had a man since you ain't
- 10:05Speaker 1: ready for no man. You ain't ready for a man.
- 10:08Speaker 1: How are you gonna? How are you? Man? You? You
- 10:10Speaker 1: messed with somebody else? Man? And you and you over
- 10:13Speaker 1: here still harping on the man you had that was
- 10:15Speaker 1: doing you dirty at the house. What what you what
- 10:17Speaker 1: you're gonna do with another man? And I don't know,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and I'm just I'm just using that one example. It
- 10:22Speaker 1: could go for me and two vice versa, and so
- 10:25Speaker 1: on and so far. I'm just using that as an example. Now,
- 10:29Speaker 1: why I laid on that one so long? You take
- 10:32Speaker 1: that out with God. That's all just read. I ain't
- 10:34Speaker 1: pointing fingers that nobody and nothing because I've been guilty
- 10:38Speaker 1: on both sides of the coin. Who am I But
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 10:47Speaker 1: interfere with my future. I was who I was and
- 10:52Speaker 1: I am who I am, and I'm cool with both
- 10:55Speaker 1: of them. People you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 11:03Speaker 1: people from all around the world. This is Steve Harvey
- 11:05Speaker 1: Marty Show. Complicated, never duplicate. Not it's sexy. Helping here. Mary,
- 11:19Speaker 1: don't understand. I have no idea, Steve. We are to
- 11:23Speaker 1: be on this show this morning. Thank you, Lord, thank you,
- 11:29Speaker 1: thank you. My attitude is great. We need some shouting.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Thank you Lord for your grace and your mercy. Amen again,
- 11:42Speaker 1: it's good. How you doing. I'm Steve. If I was
- 11:49Speaker 1: better i'd just be better. I guess I wouldn't know
- 11:53Speaker 1: what I'm great? How are you, sir, wonderful Junior, I'm
- 11:57Speaker 1: so glad to be me je I'm upset jay Z
- 12:00Speaker 1: didn't win a damn thing. I ain't letting it go.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Who jay Z so funny? Hard, hard, hard to win
- 12:15Speaker 1: when your name who? What's up? I'm filing the North Star?
- 12:19Speaker 1: What's up? You know what? Man, Steve, Let's get at
- 12:25Speaker 1: it to that. Bruno Mars won all the awards. Congratulations, Congratulations, Yeah,
- 12:33Speaker 1: jay Z, I thought should have won, uh, Best Rap Album? Yeah,
- 12:39Speaker 1: but but but Kendrick Lamar should have won Best Rap Album.
- 12:45Speaker 1: And the only reasons I'm saying jay Z should have
- 12:48Speaker 1: won Best Rap Album because I know him personally. Yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I really don't know who had the best damn rap album. Well,
- 12:56Speaker 1: I had to listen to jay Z because it came
- 12:58Speaker 1: out this summer and I was around my kids in
- 13:01Speaker 1: a fined atmosphere. He was forced to hear it. Forced.
- 13:06Speaker 1: That's when I heard family feud on that, and I
- 13:09Speaker 1: thought it was an insult. Then my kids say, no,
- 13:12Speaker 1: it's really straight up. Because I hear my name in
- 13:15Speaker 1: the rap song, I think I'm taking another hit immediate
- 13:19Speaker 1: but they said yeah, But then I love that was
- 13:23Speaker 1: a little h I love Kendrick Lamar and his species
- 13:28Speaker 1: was so good Man's relative and he strong. Did you lose?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Kind Lamar and Bruno Mars are good people to lose
- 13:37Speaker 1: to because but but which goes back to what I say.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Everybody don't love hip hop, but there's some great hip
- 13:44Speaker 1: hop artists out there, and hip hop is probably, uh
- 13:49Speaker 1: the most important music genre of of of most people's
- 13:53Speaker 1: lifetime today. It's not the most important to meet. Mine
- 13:58Speaker 1: is R and B, but of people of relevance today,
- 14:02Speaker 1: R and B is probably the genre and it's created more,
- 14:06Speaker 1: way more millionaires than R and B will ever do.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So I got that part two and I love that
- 14:11Speaker 1: about it. Oh but it proves what I say. Everybody
- 14:17Speaker 1: don't like hip hop, Everybody don't care for rap. Everybody
- 14:21Speaker 1: like a good song, though, Oh yeah, I don't care
- 14:24Speaker 1: who you are. You can be the greatest hip hop
- 14:27Speaker 1: artist in the world. You love a good song. Everybody
- 14:30Speaker 1: loves Bruno Mars jam he won dad, look at me, man,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I'm at the graves because it's father old school music man. Alright,
- 14:43Speaker 1: Steve coming up something Funny Junior is here with his
- 14:46Speaker 1: Truth be Told coming up. We'll be back to find
- 14:49Speaker 1: out the answer. You're listening to Steve Harvey Show. All right,
- 14:56Speaker 1: it's time for something funny Junior. You're up with Truth
- 14:59Speaker 1: Be Told. You know, I was thinking, you know, I've
- 15:02Speaker 1: been thinking about this up. You know, boy cotton and
- 15:07Speaker 1: stuff because boycotting needs and there's a few things I
- 15:10Speaker 1: like the boy cut. If y'all don't mind, I just
- 15:12Speaker 1: like to see if y'all just go with me, because
- 15:14Speaker 1: this is the truth. He told some people that riddly
- 15:15Speaker 1: need some boycotts, for instance, people who showed just a
- 15:20Speaker 1: body part as their profile picture on social media. In
- 15:23Speaker 1: other words, like all you see is just an elbow.
- 15:28Speaker 1: All you see is just I you know, all you
- 15:31Speaker 1: see is a hand. Where the rest of you at?
- 15:35Speaker 1: So we don't know what you look like you see us? Yeah,
- 15:39Speaker 1: that's misleading. I'll finally meet you in person. You don't
- 15:43Speaker 1: look nothing like The best part is the elbow. Well
- 15:45Speaker 1: that's what they showed that. Yeah, we just got the
- 15:47Speaker 1: boycott there. Put your whole picture up there. Here's somebody
- 15:50Speaker 1: else that I would like to boycott as well. At
- 15:53Speaker 1: the casinos as we're going to to watch Super Bowls.
- 15:55Speaker 1: We get at the casino cocktail wagresses who avoid us
- 16:00Speaker 1: players on the pennis slats. We should have jackub I
- 16:07Speaker 1: jack posts ain't as big as other jack potts. JO counts.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Is that money you're putting in there? Okay? But if
- 16:14Speaker 1: my Dani go off and I get twenty dollars, I
- 16:17Speaker 1: should have a drink. I shouldn't sit up there FO five.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I was thirsty, nips chap. They don't roll through that
- 16:23Speaker 1: that much. But they don't come by that at all.
- 16:26Speaker 1: That's just disrespect. But but I hit. If I hit,
- 16:33Speaker 1: you look bad on the penis me bail? Author and
- 16:39Speaker 1: miss Chawmaine? We over there? We started at two. We
- 16:43Speaker 1: didn't get a drink till seven thirty pm. That's not fair.
- 16:47Speaker 1: You ain't put eight dollars and there. I still think
- 16:51Speaker 1: so here and and last not people need to boycott
- 16:57Speaker 1: people who cannot count change. I ain't staying these people don't.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I cannot understand if it's four dollars and sixty cents,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I give you a five. Why is we having a
- 17:07Speaker 1: meeting at the rich? Is everybody over here? Assistant manager?
- 17:12Speaker 1: That the band on fried over them making Yeah about
- 17:15Speaker 1: how much is that? It's just forty cents? They have
- 17:19Speaker 1: some fun, Junior go to a drive through window. Let
- 17:22Speaker 1: it be fourty six. Give him the sixth cents. Yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: watched everything breakout. I can't do that. Just just boycott
- 17:30Speaker 1: some of these things. Watch the fun, watch that break out?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Go ahead, all right? I asked you a question before
- 17:39Speaker 1: we went to break Have you ever fantasized about having
- 17:41Speaker 1: a superstar singing voice? And if so, whose voice would
- 17:44Speaker 1: you choose? You asking me? Yes, you man, Luther Van Drove.
- 17:51Speaker 1: That's a good one right there, and sing a little bit?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Do do do? Dude? No? No, no, ready, no, we
- 18:06Speaker 1: love the way I do. That's not bad. I can
- 18:13Speaker 1: say for said done the head is true. There's a
- 18:18Speaker 1: chance for me. Hen you Wow, Hey, that's pretty good.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Stud Oh, don't tie if you think you're right? Yeah,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I want Luther get all? Who would you? Who would you?
- 18:42Speaker 1: I've always been part of the David Rufflin's voice. I
- 18:44Speaker 1: love God, I love his voice or either no, you
- 18:50Speaker 1: gotta give me a song, not David Rufflings. I love him.
- 18:54Speaker 1: That's no, no, no. Dennis Edwards, Dennis, that was as
- 18:58Speaker 1: good then is that was a good one Olly Woodson,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and he would sing anywhere. He would say he had
- 19:07Speaker 1: his music with him no matter where. He has a
- 19:10Speaker 1: great story and great Hollywoodson story, the late great Hollywoodson. Yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 1: he said at the JAS while he came to no
- 19:16Speaker 1: Lack opening. Given't get on the floor out of yeah
- 19:24Speaker 1: tim me, whose voice would you all had it? Pendegrad? Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Time to give me a little bit turrying off the
- 19:34Speaker 1: lights light of candle. That's all I got. I can
- 19:39Speaker 1: sound like Junior wood This. This is the entryous because
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'm already up here. I got to go with Mike.

- 20:41Speaker 1: run hones Man. Got that voice I wish I had
- 20:45Speaker 1: ain't that style? Man? That was that album? Got me
- 20:48Speaker 1: through high school. Yeah, that is a great voice. Don't don't, don't, don't,
- 20:57Speaker 1: don't out time. No, Charlie Wilson's in the body, Charlie Wilson. Charlie,
- 21:06Speaker 1: that's a hard one right there. No one can sing
- 21:08Speaker 1: like Charlie Luther run eyes, uh huh, humpty dance What
- 21:17Speaker 1: did your boy dance? I just want to say, how
- 21:26Speaker 1: about Stevie Wonder. Yeah, it's so unique, so many beautiful singers.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I'll tell you a line of Richie Man has great
- 21:39Speaker 1: does because when you try to duplicate him, it's hard
- 21:42Speaker 1: because you got to one the rare voices. That's like,
- 21:44Speaker 1: that's the comment. What did I say? Nothing? Did I
- 21:49Speaker 1: say something wrong? It's always something with you open your
- 21:53Speaker 1: mouth to be wrong. All right, listen, coming up, it's
- 21:57Speaker 1: time for Nephew Timmy's run that prank at right after this,

- 22:19Speaker 1: not planning to attend tonight in protest of some sort. Yeah,

- 22:34Speaker 1: The address is tonight. But right now it's time for
- 22:36Speaker 1: a nephew. Tommy would run that prank back? Your son
- 22:39Speaker 1: is fat boy? Your son is yeah, definitely? Hey what
- 22:49Speaker 1: your son is? Fat? People? Dotnot ready? Are we in
- 22:58Speaker 1: the sixties? What's the going on? We're launching on these brakes?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Your sign of fat running? Hello? Hello, I'm trying to
- 23:09Speaker 1: reach Kathy. Please, Hi, Kathy, This is Kirvy. I'm actually
- 23:14Speaker 1: the the owner at the daycare, Mine's daycare when your
- 23:17Speaker 1: son comes. Alright, I'm sure you're familiar with my wife, Anita.
- 23:22Speaker 1: All right, how are you doing today? Good? Oh, how's
- 23:25Speaker 1: a little little divine? How's he doing? He's good. He's
- 23:29Speaker 1: laying down taking a nap. Okay, you guys been coming here.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I guess about a year now, right, yes, since he
- 23:34Speaker 1: was one. Okay, listen, I wanted to give you a call.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm looking at some some information I was I was
- 23:41Speaker 1: Divine doing at home? Is he is he eating properly
- 23:44Speaker 1: at home? When you say eating, what do you mean?
- 23:47Speaker 1: Is he getting uh meals every time he's supposed to
- 23:50Speaker 1: get them? While he's at home. Yeah, he's doing pretty good. Okay,
- 23:56Speaker 1: now there's there's there's no situation where you guys may
- 23:58Speaker 1: be a U s what did your food or anything
- 24:01Speaker 1: like that? Are you uh short as the food? No, sir,
- 24:06Speaker 1: my husband works real good. We don't have a problem
- 24:08Speaker 1: with as short as the food. Is there a problem
- 24:10Speaker 1: with him? Well, you know, we're looking at the records
- 24:13Speaker 1: and littleness too. Have you looked at the comparison of
- 24:18Speaker 1: two year olds the majority of two year olds and
- 24:21Speaker 1: in comparison to I guess I should say size in
- 24:24Speaker 1: comparison to the bond side. You mean like in body
- 24:28Speaker 1: way body size. Yeah, I mean he's a little tall.
- 24:31Speaker 1: You know, he wasn't a small chap when his barney
- 24:33Speaker 1: was ten pounds. But no, he's on the scale of
- 24:36Speaker 1: right where he should be. He's just a little, you know,
- 24:39Speaker 1: taller because his daddy is tall. But he's doing ok So,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you you're you don't think he's anywhere in the in
- 24:46Speaker 1: the ballpark of of of of of obesity at two
- 24:50Speaker 1: you mean fat? I mean, I didn't want to be blunt,
- 24:53Speaker 1: but but but miss Cathy, you're I mean, I mean
- 24:57Speaker 1: your sons. Let me just say on the Sunday, I'm relaxed,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and we're talking about you think my son is a
- 25:04Speaker 1: little overweight or what he's what's the problem? Well, I
- 25:08Speaker 1: mean I think he's fat, you know, and and and
- 25:11Speaker 1: the problem I'm goin. I'm noticing the records of everything. Wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 25:16Speaker 1: we need to back up to you think he's sat.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I've never spoken to you, Mr Kirby. Is that what
- 25:21Speaker 1: she said? My name is Kirby. Okay, So every morning
- 25:24Speaker 1: that I dropped him off for a year and I
- 25:26Speaker 1: give my daycare money. Ms Benita has never said anything
- 25:29Speaker 1: about his eating habits. So you're telling me that you
- 25:32Speaker 1: think my son is sat. With him, you deal with
- 25:35Speaker 1: him on a daily basis. I don't deal with him
- 25:37Speaker 1: on a daily basis. What I'm looking at his records
- 25:39Speaker 1: that are showing me that he's eating way more than
- 25:41Speaker 1: the rest of anybody at the daycare. And not only that,
- 25:44Speaker 1: he's drinking probably a gallon of milk a day. In
- 25:48Speaker 1: the milk y'all only get snacks two times a day
- 25:51Speaker 1: and he's there only for breakfast and lunch. And how
- 25:54Speaker 1: in the hell is he drinking a gallon of milk?
- 25:56Speaker 1: And if he is but all I is this. No, No,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I'm blown away by this because you're calling me on
- 26:03Speaker 1: a Sunday, calling my damn child fat. That's the problem.
- 26:06Speaker 1: And your wife has never said a damn thing. Never
- 26:09Speaker 1: has she said one thing to me in a year
- 26:10Speaker 1: when she collected my damn daycare money. She ain't said
- 26:13Speaker 1: my son is et y'all at a house at home? Okay, Well,
- 26:16Speaker 1: you know my wife is a different person, and she
- 26:17Speaker 1: tries to be cordial with everyone. He's the one who
- 26:20Speaker 1: deals with me, Mr Kirby. I've never met you, never
- 26:22Speaker 1: met you espect of a Sunday. Reason why I'm calling
- 26:26Speaker 1: you on a Sunday, ma'am, is that I know tomorrow
- 26:28Speaker 1: if you're gonna be trying to drop your son off,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I am gonna drop him off. I am don't know. No,
- 26:33Speaker 1: that's that's kind of the reason why I'm calling you. Now.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Here's where we knew that. Here. Either you can keep
- 26:39Speaker 1: him at home. No, I'm not keeping him at home.
- 26:41Speaker 1: My husband works and I work. I'm dropping my damn
- 26:45Speaker 1: son off at six thirty like I do every morning.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Man listening, if we can't get him, If you want
- 26:52Speaker 1: to get on the side, because obviously you ain't the
- 26:55Speaker 1: one that need to be talking to me, because if
- 26:56Speaker 1: you're not there every day, and I did with your wife,
- 26:59Speaker 1: I'm to on in you that your son is too
- 27:01Speaker 1: big to be is coming every morning if that's the case,
- 27:07Speaker 1: and if he's eating at a house at home, I'll
- 27:08Speaker 1: send him some extra. But what I paid my money
- 27:11Speaker 1: for is what you're gonna feed him for to full
- 27:14Speaker 1: meals and two snacks. And if he needs extra, I'll
- 27:17Speaker 1: put some in his bag. But he's drinking a gallon
- 27:20Speaker 1: of milk a day. Are you looking here? I don't care.
- 27:23Speaker 1: There's no way possible that he can drink a gallon
- 27:25Speaker 1: the milk day. Here's here's here's the deal. I don't
- 27:28Speaker 1: want you to have to stop bringing your son now,
- 27:30Speaker 1: and I'm not and I'm not. Here's my second alternative.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I will put him on a diet. Okay, I'll give
- 27:36Speaker 1: him an apple in the day. You ain't no damn
- 27:39Speaker 1: h are you from the health food promra? I will.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I will give him an apple and a glass of
- 27:43Speaker 1: water in the morning, and I'll give him an apple
- 27:45Speaker 1: and a glass of water in the evening, and then
- 27:47Speaker 1: you guys can feed him when he gets home. You
- 27:49Speaker 1: must be certified in the food program, especially if you're
- 27:51Speaker 1: sitting the pre telling me, my damn son is one
- 27:53Speaker 1: on a diet and he's not drinking no water and
- 27:56Speaker 1: no apple. He needs a full snack. If I've kids
- 28:00Speaker 1: is having an apple and water, then that's that you're
- 28:02Speaker 1: better be serving him. But if that ain't the case,
- 28:04Speaker 1: in hell no, he better get the full snack. So
- 28:06Speaker 1: if that's graham crackers and apple juice, well damn it,
- 28:08Speaker 1: that's what my son better be getting. And if he
- 28:09Speaker 1: won't astra, he better get it. I'm listening all I'm
- 28:12Speaker 1: trying to tell you your d well, well, well, whoa
- 28:18Speaker 1: you need to back at the top. I know you
- 28:20Speaker 1: did not custom me. I know you ready to cut
- 28:26Speaker 1: to me. Let me tell you what say. You ain't
- 28:28Speaker 1: got to worry about it. We don't have nothing else
- 28:29Speaker 1: to talking about. My husband, me, your wife, and everybody
- 28:34Speaker 1: that working at damn daycare better be there in the morning,
- 28:36Speaker 1: because that's six thirty. We're gonna be there and my
- 28:39Speaker 1: son he's coming um week and he gonna eat all
- 28:44Speaker 1: we If he want two gallons of milk, he gonna
- 28:46Speaker 1: drink it. If he wants two plates of food, he
- 28:49Speaker 1: gonna get it because I tell you what we say.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Damn good money to come to that daycare. So you're
- 28:55Speaker 1: gonna bring your child there, I'm gonna have to put
- 28:57Speaker 1: him on some swim players. I will put your child
- 29:00Speaker 1: on swim fast. I was trying not to give him
- 29:02Speaker 1: to be suspected, but I will ask give him some
- 29:05Speaker 1: slim fast, and you're gonna get a slim fast shopping.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I'm a whoop y'all that whoever gave it to him,
- 29:11Speaker 1: whoever gave it to him, they're gonna get a slim
- 29:13Speaker 1: fast shipping. All the little kids that have some slim faster,
- 29:16Speaker 1: is he getting some? He better eat whatever they eat.
- 29:18Speaker 1: And if they eating steak, well, damn it, he better
- 29:19Speaker 1: have something too. If we had steak, he'd probably eat
- 29:22Speaker 1: the home. Damn cow he eatn't care. I'll pay for it.
- 29:25Speaker 1: But he's been like getting up slim fast. I will
- 29:27Speaker 1: shut it down about my child. Okay, I got something
- 29:31Speaker 1: else you need to know about your son? What else
- 29:34Speaker 1: do I need to know besides you think my son
- 29:36Speaker 1: is overweight? What the elf can you tell me today?
- 29:40Speaker 1: I need to tell you this. I need to tell
- 29:42Speaker 1: you that this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey
- 29:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. Your girlfriend Lucretia got me to prank o
- 29:50Speaker 1: call you. What did you just say? What did you
- 29:55Speaker 1: just say? There's his nephew, tim Me from the Steve
- 29:59Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Till. Your girlfriend Lucretia got me to frank
- 30:03Speaker 1: phone call you. I'm gonna beat that to that. She No,
- 30:09Speaker 1: I don't play about my demn son at all. That's
- 30:12Speaker 1: my only son. I don't play about him. I'm gonna
- 30:15Speaker 1: be the issue there. It's on after this. It's all
- 30:20Speaker 1: it is. Hey, I got one more thing. I gotta
- 30:24Speaker 1: ask you, baby, what is what is the baddest that,
- 30:26Speaker 1: I mean, the baddest radio show in the land. Steve
- 30:30Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Shown. It's all. I hope you can hear
- 30:36Speaker 1: me whereever you at laughing, you're listening, ste Well, Tonight
- 30:45Speaker 1: is the night, guys. I know you guys can't wait.

- 30:53Speaker 1: the Union speech. I'll be watching Netflix. It come on
- 31:00Speaker 1: nine p m. Easton, it comes on Late City. Yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 1: he did everything. I'll be watching Riverdale. Thank you so much. Anyway,
- 31:10Speaker 1: the President will deliver his very first State of a
- 31:12Speaker 1: Union address. All while his rush of firestorm investigation is
- 31:16Speaker 1: going on. You know, the President will take a victory
- 31:19Speaker 1: laugh about the economy, and he will also talk about
- 31:22Speaker 1: building a safe, strong, and proud America. Some of the
- 31:25Speaker 1: Democrats planned to boycott the State of a Union address
- 31:28Speaker 1: due to tensions from Trump's s whole comments about Haiti
- 31:32Speaker 1: and Africa. John Lewis of Georgia, the congressman there, Maxine Waters,
- 31:38Speaker 1: Congresswoman Waters from California, Frederika Wilson, we all remember her, Florida,
- 31:44Speaker 1: from Florida. Yeah, he will his wife be there because
- 31:48Speaker 1: she hasn't been seen lately. Oh, Milania. I bet she'll
- 31:52Speaker 1: be there, front and center. I bet she will hands
- 32:00Speaker 1: and if he tries, she'll smack it away. Alright. Massachusetts
- 32:05Speaker 1: congressman and the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, Representative John
- 32:08Speaker 1: Joseph Kennedy the Third will deliver the Democratic party formal
- 32:12Speaker 1: response to Trump's State of the Union address, and Elizabeth
- 32:15Speaker 1: Guzman from Virginia will deliver the Democrat's response in Spanish.
- 32:20Speaker 1: So there you have it, all right, audios in Maxine
- 32:25Speaker 1: Waters doing one on B Yeah, yeah, I got to
- 32:29Speaker 1: hear with oh yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, she
- 32:33Speaker 1: is the truth. I'm don't have to hear mexic. Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 1: So are you gonna watch Steve You didn't say watch
- 32:41Speaker 1: Donald Trump? Yeah? I don't know, man. I mean, that's
- 32:47Speaker 1: like headache for I go to bed. Mm hmm, It's
- 32:51Speaker 1: like asking for a headache. I just, man, I'm just
- 32:54Speaker 1: so tired of reacting. I mean, I just he's not
- 32:58Speaker 1: gonna read that card man, That's what I want him not.
- 33:06Speaker 1: And if he does, it's gonna be so low energy.
- 33:08Speaker 1: And but if he goes off of it, then I
- 33:11Speaker 1: got to go what passion? Hell now, I gotta be
- 33:17Speaker 1: mad on. I don't feel like that before I go
- 33:19Speaker 1: to bed. I don't know, man, I don't know if
- 33:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch it, because already, what are you gonna say?
- 33:25Speaker 1: He's gonna tell you how great he is, how I
- 33:27Speaker 1: won the election by landslide, here, the biggest turnout most.
- 33:31Speaker 1: She shocked everybody with his win. But I want right, right,
- 33:34Speaker 1: I want yeah, I'm president. Right, No collusions colusion, Yeah,
- 33:40Speaker 1: that that find out there ain't no collusion. And how
- 33:42Speaker 1: how low the unemployment is for black people? Jay Z
- 33:46Speaker 1: need to know that, you know. Yeah, I don't know
- 33:50Speaker 1: why y'all ain't happy, aren't we Still twice as low
- 33:56Speaker 1: as our white counterparts though, But there's new collusion damnusion instruction.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Perhaps well they say he's gonna speak from the heart
- 34:15Speaker 1: too as well, that's what I want to hear. Yeah,
- 34:22Speaker 1: he's gonna kind of dial back. We'll see, all right, Steve,
- 34:29Speaker 1: she's here. Please, let's introduce mss Anne. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 34:32Speaker 1: Miss and Trip. Thank you, Thanks guys, Thanks for Steve, Shirley,
- 34:36Speaker 1: Carla Timmey Jr. And j Anthony Brown. Okay. FBI Director
- 34:40Speaker 1: Andrew McCabe has resigned his position much sooner than expected.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Um McCabe was a career official, not a political appointee. Nevertheless,
- 34:47Speaker 1: he came under unrelenting criticism from President Trump and from
- 34:51Speaker 1: some of Trump's congressional Republican supporters. McCabe involved in both
- 34:54Speaker 1: the Russia Trump campaign investigation and in the agency's probe
- 34:58Speaker 1: into Hillary Clinton's email, but White House spokesperson Sarah Huckaby
- 35:02Speaker 1: Sanders insists that the administration had nothing to do with
- 35:04Speaker 1: it and that they only found out about McCay's resignation
- 35:07Speaker 1: from the media. Look, the President stands by his previous
- 35:10Speaker 1: comments but in terms of the situations, we've seen the
- 35:14Speaker 1: reports just as all of you have. Okay, McCabe's leaving
- 35:18Speaker 1: comes ahead of his previously planned retirement this spring, so
- 35:21Speaker 1: the number three official at the FBI may fill the
- 35:23Speaker 1: vacancy at least four Now. Tonight's Day of the Union speech,
- 35:26Speaker 1: President Trump says he intends to talk about the economy,
- 35:30Speaker 1: about his tax reforms, changes in trade, and other visions
- 35:33Speaker 1: that he has for the country, and that will of
- 35:35Speaker 1: course include how he wants immigration handled. And Trump says
- 35:38Speaker 1: he's hoping to find some necessary support, believe it or not,
- 35:41Speaker 1: across the aisle. Open just got to be bi partisans
- 35:44Speaker 1: because the Republicans really don't have the votes you get
- 35:46Speaker 1: it done in any other way, so it has to
- 35:48Speaker 1: be bi partisan. But hopefully the Democrats will join us,
- 35:52Speaker 1: or enough of them will join us, so we can
- 35:53Speaker 1: really do something great for data and for immigration generally.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Last year, Trump announced the phase out to the OBA
- 36:00Speaker 1: era Dreamer's program, which shielded people brought here illegally as
- 36:03Speaker 1: children from deportation. But Trump is now saying that he
- 36:06Speaker 1: would be in favor of providing a path to citizenship
- 36:09Speaker 1: so long as Democrats get behind his funding for his
- 36:12Speaker 1: famous and well to out often outed border wall, the
- 36:15Speaker 1: one that he said when he was the running for
- 36:17Speaker 1: election that Mexico was going to pay for. Another top
- 36:20Speaker 1: Republican has announced that he's not going to seek reelection
- 36:22Speaker 1: this time around. New Jersey Congressman Rodney Fleet and Haisen
- 36:25Speaker 1: says he's gonna retire at the end of his term
- 36:27Speaker 1: now Freedland. Heisen is a twelve term Republican and he's
- 36:30Speaker 1: head of the House Appropriations Committee, and he was about
- 36:33Speaker 1: to face a very difficult re election fight from Democrats
- 36:36Speaker 1: in the state of New Jersey. And now he becomes
- 36:38Speaker 1: the thirty third member of the member of the GOP
- 36:40Speaker 1: to announce that he will leave Congress at the end
- 36:42Speaker 1: of this year. German carmakers Volkswagen, BMW and Diamer have
- 36:46Speaker 1: confirmed that they financed a study that used monkeys to
- 36:49Speaker 1: test the health effects of diesel engine fumes, and a
- 36:52Speaker 1: spokesperson for for German Chancellor Angela Merkel says she condemns
- 36:55Speaker 1: those kind of experiments and numbers in they show that
- 36:58Speaker 1: Sunday Nights Grammy Awards was viewed by six million fewer
- 37:01Speaker 1: households in last year's presentation In fact, the post to
- 37:04Speaker 1: say was the lowest rated Grammy show in history. Recent years,
- 37:07Speaker 1: Grammy viewership has always been about the same between like
- 37:10Speaker 1: twenty five and three or thirty million over the past
- 37:12Speaker 1: five years, but Nielsen says this last show gone and
- 37:15Speaker 1: only around nineteen million. Even so, the Grammys is still
- 37:17Speaker 1: one of the most watch TV events and will be
- 37:19Speaker 1: for this year. Finally, today is National Bubble Rack Appreciation
- 37:23Speaker 1: Day and also Do your Thing with Style Day and
- 37:27Speaker 1: if you can vote vocaling over you Gene the Butterfly
- 37:29Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hours, stay tuned to the Steve
- 37:31Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 37:42Speaker 1: you know the butter That dude? Good morning every one,
- 37:48Speaker 1: Tommy Charley that and j Anthony Brown? Thank you? But
- 37:58Speaker 1: do you know this is getting everybody? Do you know
- 38:05Speaker 1: the same song? Now? Do you know this is respectful?
- 38:16Speaker 1: Very disrespect Yeah? It high? Do you know high? Do
- 38:26Speaker 1: you know? Guys, we're running out of time? Thank you
- 38:40Speaker 1: very Okay, So this is I wanted to out to
- 38:43Speaker 1: know that I've been working on you know, I've been
- 38:45Speaker 1: called to preach. But I've been working on right, right,
- 38:50Speaker 1: that's that This is the most interesting. So you've been
- 38:53Speaker 1: called to preach, yes, And I'm working at my first
- 38:56Speaker 1: you know, I'm working on more of my all that
- 38:59Speaker 1: kind of stuff. I'm working more on that, you know,
- 39:02Speaker 1: because that's what gets us. So what's gonna be your
- 39:04Speaker 1: first sermon coming out of the body. But I'm working
- 39:10Speaker 1: out on the on the hoop part of its coming
- 39:14Speaker 1: out of hand. I'm working more on that. Park. I
- 39:19Speaker 1: give you some frienses that you can use. That's what
- 39:22Speaker 1: I wish I could get some help right here, say that.
- 39:25Speaker 1: I wish your hands out of help this morning. Is
- 39:28Speaker 1: anybody listening? Is anybody listening? Nothing? Y'all on him? Many
- 39:36Speaker 1: don't hear me. I just need a witness right here.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I just need a witness around here. Wan't do it.
- 39:47Speaker 1: They want to take some time to my well, say
- 39:51Speaker 1: it again. Let me take some time to myself. Let
- 39:55Speaker 1: me take some time. I'm not saying, Hey, he's a
- 40:01Speaker 1: many God, He's a mighty good God. Put more and
- 40:05Speaker 1: put more, rasping in more, no more, a little more,
- 40:12Speaker 1: rest making more, rasting all to it God. Alright, we
- 40:33Speaker 1: have to go on the butterfly temple open. Okay, look,
- 40:38Speaker 1: we gotta go. Comedy Roulette is coming up next with
- 40:42Speaker 1: Steve J and Tommy and Junior after four after the hour.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 40:51Speaker 1: time for comedy Brulette. J. Let us have it. Tell
- 40:55Speaker 1: her that's very simple. We're so good. Give us five subjects.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Put the subjects on a wheel. Spun the wheel with
- 41:03Speaker 1: a wheel. Stop we do the damn thing. Spun it
- 41:07Speaker 1: all right, here we go the subjects. Number one, Tell
- 41:10Speaker 1: that baby to shut up god. Number two, Uh, where
- 41:16Speaker 1: are you getting all this new stuff from? Number three?
- 41:21Speaker 1: Stop lying? Girl? You know you're dating that ugly man.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Number four. You know you ain't never been to friends.

- 50:48Speaker 1: bringing people you got with you so they can see
- 50:50Speaker 1: a fight. Hey man, what what do you What did
- 50:52Speaker 1: you saying? You're trying to tell me you ain't gonna
- 50:54Speaker 1: let me hook the cable up. When I get over

- 51:18Speaker 1: I'm coming over that and I'm looking up this cable.
- 51:21Speaker 1: When you come over here, you're to bad. I got

- 52:06Speaker 1: come in mind. Right now, I said, I got one
- 52:09Speaker 1: more thing to say that you want. What you're going
- 52:11Speaker 1: to say is you listen to me. I'm listening. This
- 52:14Speaker 1: is nephew caught me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 52:17Speaker 1: You just got cranked by your boy? Who who you said? He?
- 52:25Speaker 1: This is nephew tire me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 52:29Speaker 1: And I know you ain't called my phone. Man, my
- 52:32Speaker 1: blood pressure hid here. You got me ready to square.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I mean I got clips from and my clips from
- 52:38Speaker 1: the ric thing man. You got me reading about somebody
- 52:40Speaker 1: out there. All right, man, I gotta ask you this
- 52:43Speaker 1: right here, choy, what is what is the baddest I'm
- 52:46Speaker 1: talking about the baddest radio show in the land, man,
- 52:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Man, y'all crazy. I think I'm
- 52:52Speaker 1: a genius. I really, Joe, I think us that's what
- 52:56Speaker 1: you thinks. You have nothing to say about that, purely
- 53:01Speaker 1: I've told you all hands down genius nowhere around it,
- 53:07Speaker 1: easy genius. It's so sad. Well if he doesn't think it's,
- 53:11Speaker 1: Steve got to start saying. You don't understand what Harriet
- 53:14Speaker 1: Tubman went to Lucas. Now see listen to me. See Shirley.
- 53:18Speaker 1: What he's saying is, see, Sureley, you said that right.
- 53:21Speaker 1: If he doesn't think it didn't, that means nobody does
- 53:25Speaker 1: right right, It's got to start somewhere right there, right,
- 53:31Speaker 1: I'll accept that statement right there. If he doesn't think it,
- 53:35Speaker 1: then who does nobody? At my girlfriend for it? She
- 53:47Speaker 1: loves that microphone. So it's okay. What is he a
- 53:52Speaker 1: genius or not? Sure? He the only one has ever
- 53:56Speaker 1: said that? No one has ever You've never heard that
- 54:00Speaker 1: about timing a lot of people thinking with Steve. You
- 54:03Speaker 1: you fear name rue person to thank you a genius.
- 54:06Speaker 1: You fear me man. You you are so afraid of
- 54:09Speaker 1: my like you got rid of my mid Day remarks.
- 54:13Speaker 1: You scared me to say something, give people knowledge and wisdom.
- 54:15Speaker 1: You don't want that. You're afraid you because you don't
- 54:21Speaker 1: have nothing. I love the mid show remarks. I have
- 54:24Speaker 1: great Tommy, you ain't wise about nothing. Can you do?
- 54:30Speaker 1: Let me do one a dating the humor in this
- 54:35Speaker 1: boy with this foolishness. Then we could say, once and
- 54:38Speaker 1: for all, Steve Man, whatever coming up and the time
- 54:43Speaker 1: of the hour, today's Strawberry letter, y'all want to do
- 54:48Speaker 1: me a show? Remarks instead of strawberry les. You're listening
- 54:56Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, today's a very
- 55:00Speaker 1: letter is up next, and yes it is a good one.
- 55:03Speaker 1: But quickly tonight, as we've been mentioning all morning, tonight
- 55:06Speaker 1: is the President's very first State of the Union address.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Will bet the President Trump will tweet it was the
- 55:13Speaker 1: most watched State of Union addressed ever in the history
- 55:17Speaker 1: of State of the Unions in the history. You know
- 55:19Speaker 1: he's gonna tweet that. Yes, you know he is. Yes.
- 55:23Speaker 1: And now, speaking of tweeting, did you guys see when
- 55:25Speaker 1: the President lashed out at jay Z. Yeah, when he tweeted,
- 55:29Speaker 1: somebody please informed jay Z that because of my policies,
- 55:32Speaker 1: black unemployment has just been reported to be at the
- 55:35Speaker 1: lowest rate ever recorded. Damn. Those policies were placed from
- 55:42Speaker 1: the Obama administration. First of all. Yeah, but he's taken
- 55:46Speaker 1: credit for President Trump. Well. According to the Bureau of
- 55:50Speaker 1: Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for African Americans has been
- 55:53Speaker 1: in decline since, falling from sixteen point four percent in
- 55:56Speaker 1: August two thousand and eleven to seven point eight percent
- 55:59Speaker 1: in jay Anuary of two thousand seventeen. Okay, we have
- 56:03Speaker 1: to watch it just for it, just because what he's
- 56:06Speaker 1: talking about. Well, no, just for the antics, just for
- 56:09Speaker 1: what it's going to be. Another political show that's coming
- 56:12Speaker 1: on the night that's better than the State of the Y. Yeah. Yeah,
- 56:15Speaker 1: it's the Rockets in the Washington Rockets must win. And
- 56:20Speaker 1: and jay Z made those comments on the Van Jones Show.
- 56:24Speaker 1: As we mentioned, he was his first. Jay Z didn't
- 56:28Speaker 1: say anything. Jay Z called him a super bug you know.
- 56:31Speaker 1: But what Yah, what jay Z was saying was you
- 56:34Speaker 1: can talk about all of that, but if the country's
- 56:36Speaker 1: in trouble, you know, and if you're treating him bad work? Yeah, yeah,
- 56:43Speaker 1: who care how much money you make if it's okay
- 56:46Speaker 1: for the skinhead to run you over in absolutely yeah,
- 56:50Speaker 1: I just want to see it, all right. Tell me,
- 56:53Speaker 1: let's take this to the letter. Place's get to it.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Bu hold on tight. Here it is a strawberry letter.
- 56:59Speaker 1: And another one here we go subject married men only.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Is there really a signal that women put off that
- 57:05Speaker 1: tells a man that she only dates married men? Because
- 57:09Speaker 1: that's all I seem to pull since I was sixteen
- 57:12Speaker 1: and now I'm twenty eight. If so, let me know
- 57:15Speaker 1: so I can clear it off my face. I always
- 57:18Speaker 1: thought it was because I was mature for my age,
- 57:21Speaker 1: but I even pulled broke. Married men don't laugh. But
- 57:24Speaker 1: I believe if he was going to play, he had
- 57:26Speaker 1: to pay. Low esteem has been an issue in the past,
- 57:31Speaker 1: but one time with the man, I can't let go.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I can. But once I'm with the men, I can
- 57:36Speaker 1: let them go. However they cannot let me go. We
- 57:40Speaker 1: all still remain friends. We talked about everything and anything,
- 57:43Speaker 1: and I do suggest that they receive couples counseling. Okay,
- 57:47Speaker 1: I know I'm still in the wrong. I'm not slow.
- 57:50Speaker 1: It's just a maneuver. I try to sick myself out
- 57:53Speaker 1: to get them to psych myself out. I couldn't get
- 57:58Speaker 1: that one. Okay, I try to psych myself out, uh,
- 58:00Speaker 1: to get them to leave me. It sucks, I know,
- 58:03Speaker 1: but the change the phone number move doesn't work when
- 58:07Speaker 1: they know where you work and live. These are not
- 58:09Speaker 1: bad men. I believe they really just need someone to
- 58:12Speaker 1: talk to. But like men, they can't separate the cookie
- 58:15Speaker 1: from the friend. Thank you, and I hope you don't
- 58:18Speaker 1: clown me too bad. Well, we don't have to clown
- 58:21Speaker 1: you because you know you're clowning yourself. You really are. Uh,
- 58:26Speaker 1: every time you get with the merried man, you're clowning yourself. Uh.
- 58:29Speaker 1: You say, do you have something on your face that
- 58:31Speaker 1: that puts this vibe out there? You know that you
- 58:34Speaker 1: only are interested in married men. Well, uh no, Uh,
- 58:38Speaker 1: not necessarily the case, you know, but men do like
- 58:41Speaker 1: confidence in a woman, and it doesn't matter if you
- 58:44Speaker 1: pull them. I mean, I take it that you're an
- 58:46Speaker 1: attractive woman. So men are probably gonna hit on you,
- 58:48Speaker 1: single and married. But it's up to you to say no.
- 58:52Speaker 1: It's up to you not to allow this to go down.
- 58:54Speaker 1: You say, low self esteem has been an issue in
- 58:57Speaker 1: the past, and apparently it still is, you know, because
- 59:00Speaker 1: you keep pulling the same kinds of guys. You keep
- 59:03Speaker 1: dating these same kinds of guys. Uh. You also say
- 59:06Speaker 1: that you know you're in the wrong and and and people.
- 59:09Speaker 1: I say, people who know better usually do better. So
- 59:11Speaker 1: I say, you know, girl, let these men go. Leave
- 59:15Speaker 1: his married men alone that you pull. Uh, you know,
- 59:18Speaker 1: and that's it. Move on with your life, let him go.
- 59:21Speaker 1: You already know what to do. Steve this this, this
- 59:25Speaker 1: might help a few people out here. Subject married men only.
- 59:29Speaker 1: She opens up the letter with something really good. Is
- 59:33Speaker 1: that really a signal that women put off the tales
- 59:35Speaker 1: of man, that she only dates married men. They answer
- 59:39Speaker 1: to that is yes. The answer to that is yes. See,
- 59:43Speaker 1: we are hunters. We know how to hunt. If you look,
- 59:48Speaker 1: men are no different from animals that you see in
- 59:51Speaker 1: the while when they hunt. When you see a group
- 59:54Speaker 1: of wolves attack of her, who do they look for?
- 59:56Speaker 1: The elderly, the sick, the weak, and the young. The elderly,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: the sick, the weak, and the young. Women, if if, if, if,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: if you look broken, don't have self esteem, we well,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: we got you. If you're young, not mature, we got you.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: And if you seem like you ain't been keeping up
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: with the rest of everybody else, that's a weakness. We
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: got you. So yeah, they all signal that women put
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: off the tales of man, that she only dates married
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: men is number one. You don't ask questions. That's the
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: first thing that lets the married man. No, it's okay.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: You don't ask any questions. Can I have what's your
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: home number? Can I come by? What time? Why is this? See?
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: So you run into these men and you don't ask
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: no questions, then you find out they're married or they
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: walk up to you and then they tell you you married.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And because you have no standards and requirements, now you
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: net okay, because that's all I seem to pull since
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I was sixteen. Sixteen, you've been pulling married men since
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you were sixteen. You got more than a self esteem problem,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: young lady, you got some other problems. And I ain
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: don't need to be getting into that. I think you
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: know what's wrong. Uh, let me know if there's a
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: way so I can clear it off my face. It
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: ain't on your face, it's in your conversation. You have
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: no questions, no standards, no requirements. So guess what me
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: being married? What they got to do with anything? Um,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you used to think it was because you were mature
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: for your age. No, it's the direct opposite. You've been
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: immature for your age. See, acting fast and having sex
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: don't make you more of a lady or a woman.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Ask any grown woman if that makes you more of
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: a lady or a woman, and I'm almost certain they
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: will tell you till the lady that ain't got nothing
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to do with your womanhood and your respectability. But you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: even pull broke me and don't laugh, lo self estee
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: has been an issue in the past. Lady, your self
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: esteem is still an issue. Then when you then when
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you break it off, you say that we still remain friends.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: We talk about everything and anything, and I do suggest
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: that they receive couples counseling. Lady, you don't even mean that.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: That's just something you've said to try to clear your
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: little raggedy conscious of the wrong you've done. Let me
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: do this wrong, but now let me try to help you.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: You can't help a man outside of his marriage with
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: what's going on in his marriage. You is a damn problem.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: So now what is counseling to? Save it? Save it?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: We'll be back twelve after you're listening to Steve. All right, Steve,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: come on, let's get to part two of your response
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: to today's Strawberry letter. All right here, God, of this
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: subject married men only. This woman has been sleeping with
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: married men since she was sixteen. She's now She was
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: thinking it was because she was mature for her age,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: and she wants to know it's that a signal that
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: women put off the tales of man that she only
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: days married men. Well, she thought that it was low
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: self esteem has been an issue in the past. I'm
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: trying to tell her that it's still an issue. And
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: then she said, even after she can break up with him,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: after they're dating together, but they don't know how and
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: uh when they but they still want to talk to
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: her about anything and everything. And I do suggest that
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: they receive couples counseling, which is a statement that she
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: can't possibly really mean when you're the cause of the counseling. See,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: you can't be the cause and the answer. See, if
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you're the problem, you're not the solution. So lady, come
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: on now, Okay, I know I'm still in the wrong,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: which means you haven't fixed the damn thing. She said,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I'm not slow, and you know, I try to psych
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: myself out to get them to leave me. It sucks,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I know, but I change the numbers. They find out
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: where you lives in him. Now, then she says, these
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: are not bad men, Lady, you're a bad judge of character.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: And from grown man who's married a sleeping with you
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: and your sixteen that's not only a bad man, that's
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: a gorilla. That's what men calling our circle gorillas. They
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: just they just gorillas now, man, So that's just anybody
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: a sixteen year old girl, and you're married. Come on, man,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: come on, you weigh out of line. And then she say,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I believe that they really just need someone to talk
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: to We always say that we need somebody to talk
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: to you because it plays on your nurturing side as women,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: and you want to fix and heal and soothe and comfort,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: so you listen. But now then she says, but it's
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: like men. They can't separate the cookie from the friend.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Are you stupid? App you to some about us men? Oh,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: we can separate the cookie from the friend. It's just
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: guess what. It's jack pop for us when we find
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: a friendly cookie. You don't have a right. All you
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: are is the friendly cookie. That's all you are talking about.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Some man don't know how to differ. Check the two.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: We ain't that stupid. Alright, Steve, we gotta get out
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: of here. Thank you so very much, good hand Sir.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: You can email us or instagram us your thoughts on
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter at my Girls Shirley and please join
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: me this Thursday at one p m. Eastern Time for
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter Live after show on Facebook now UM.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Over the past week, fans of the Patriots got into
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: the spirit of the Super Bowl by banning and boycotting
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: a bunch of stuff made famous by Philadelphia, such as
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: such such as Eagles in any shape or form, any
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: shape or form they've been yea, well, well you know,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: you know, come on, cream cheesecakes, banning Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: and a little silver packet done banning that right, soft pretzels,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: cracked copper bells, anything the shape of Midnight Green. They're
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: banning Will Smith. Wait a minute now, so that's just yeah,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Sylvester Stallone, Rocky, but not Kevin Hard. Who's awesome? What Kevin? Yes,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: it's just a short ban. It won't be lone and
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: not to be outdone. Eagles fans have also gotten into
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the act, banning Boston cream doughnuts okay, Boston beer, Boston Beer,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: and Boston's beer a. Philadelphia's Museum of the American Revolution
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: is temporarily temporary, only changing the name of their Patriots
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Gallery to Eagles Gallery. All right, I like that. Yeah,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: it's going down. Yeah, it is a little fun rivalry
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: before the game. We ain't got to change nothing in
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: clean team, so nothing. You don't think they're regrouping now,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Steve thinking about what they can do for this coming season.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: And they got two big picks. They got the first
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: pick and the fourth pick. They so that's a good thing, right,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: don't you excited about that? Man? Just the season now?
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Who they're gonna pick? We keep going to We bet
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: that picked nobody. Texas thought that drunk as Johnny Manziel
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: didn't put this boy, Miles or whatever his I don't
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: even know he played. Well, you had r G three
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: for a minute, didn't you. Oh, Man, we we traded
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: for him. You got ahead super Bowl, Steve, you're excited, man,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I really want Philly to win. I'm pulling for him
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: with everything in me. Man, I showed hope to Philadelphia.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Eagles shock them. But eighty one percent of the players
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: that's on the Patriots have played in Super Bow before, Man.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: And they got and they got Baby, and they got
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Billy checked. And if they're within ten points with three
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: minutes left, they're gonna win. That's what's crazy about them. Man.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I want Philly to win this game so bad. I'm
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: pulling for him. I'm putting my money on Philly too. Man,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Come on, Philly, come on, Phillis all the way, man,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Eagles all the way and it ain't ain't even close
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: how I wanted to go. And it better be not
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: like not like last year when the Falcons had it
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: until so they can have man. Man, it was home twelve.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Don't get nervous about nothing. You don't celebrate the Patriots
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: city game over driving home. Yeah, that's when I think
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: about start rooting for the Patriots. Maybe they'll allude I'm
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: not doing that trying to because of the Patriots. No,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the reason Texans can't go to Suit Bowl a lot
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: of other things ain't. Don't. Don't blame that on the Patriots.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Don't putting that right square on their shoulders on. No,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: y'all got some other issues. They beat us with the
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: third strain quarterback. Well, you know, at least you ain't
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: the Browns but didn't win a game this year, got
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: their head coach in it, Damn body. I looked at
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Miles Garrett. He got some sacks this past season. Okay,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: did you see one sacks on? What he? Are you
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: talking about? That? Still ain't enough? He what are you
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: back that? Tackling quarterbacks? Yeah, rookie season they scored eighty
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: four point where he can tackle the course. Probably they
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: failing he feels. All right, we'll be back with more
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, well, Steve,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: you said this was okay earlier, your nephew, go ahead,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: give me the music. You know, I got to have. No,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you don't get no remark I want to know. But
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Tommy gets his midshow remarks right here, Jack go ahead
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: before him. Boy, what a music kid. I gotta be
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: in the movie. You better get some other music. But Steve,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: don't shut him down. No, Well, he can't use close
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: and remark music. What my tip music? I used to Hey,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I can't let me hear that. So here it is hidios.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: This is the great manage of wisdom from the nephew.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: My closing remarks today it's mid show. Yeah, my mid
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: show remarks today. Don't blame mcclown, but acting like a clown.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Blame yourself for going to the circus. Oh did you
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: hear what I say? Don't blame a clown for acting
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: like a clown, Blame yourself for going to the circus.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: A lot of y'all getting frustrated and upset about state
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: of the union, you going to the circus. If you
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: turn it on the night, you understand that. Don't blame
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: your a clown for acting like a clown, Blame yourself
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: for going to a circus. Those are my clothing remarks.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I think mit show show that was incredible. That was incredible.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I'm serious. Yeah, I got food singing behind you the
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: whole damn Like Steve, just respect the fact that you
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: know he's trying to do something on his own. Now
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: that's a clown singing for for my what do you?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: What's wrong when I when I when I speak on clown,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: he sang on client, were team? What is wrong with it?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I'm always team Tommy? You know that I said with nothing,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: don't blame the clown, not blame yourself. But going to
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: that's it ain't gonna be all long and drawn out, Steve,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: get too glad. I saw it for myself. He's supposed
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to be a genius. That genius. Maybe he needs to
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: do more. Maybe you need to let him do more.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: That show ain't how you get more? Let me take
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: do y'all know? Netflix and played five hundred thousand for
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: that right there? Do you know that? What see you?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Right there? Man? That's why you when you're not gonna
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: do that on this show. Netflix will not Netflix don't
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: know you, he said, Netflix, I wish I wish you'd going.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Now we're gonna want to make everybody feel better about that. Okay,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: here's a question, ladies. I'm gonna ask the audience this question.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Would you all be interested in coming to a comedy
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: concert starring JR J, Anthony Brown and nephew Tommy. I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: want the public to send us How how can they
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: email us? Y'all? Steve Harvey FM dot com. Go to
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM dot com and tell me if you
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: would be interested in seeing need three foods in concert
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: together like a tool. A tool. So who's the headliner? Yeah, everybody?
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Twenty minutes? How we do it? Everybody do twenty minutes
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: and we come out to the audience, come out and
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: talk to the audience. So when no, I do disagree
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: with talking to the audience, don't talk to You're the
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: only one that's good at that, you know, I know
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: how to talk to people. What do you say, Tommy?
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: You need to stay on stage and do your show.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: You got you very funny, You're good at no. Really,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Tommy you're good at that. You got characters, You got
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: all that. Just stay on stage. Don't go out there.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: You don't like you because you get fat too quick?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Are send me ride down there? Dot com and all that.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Stay on stage and do your at You're funny. You
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: got characters. I don't think there's a You gotta have some.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Who's gonna close the show is the question? Yeah, I
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: think Jay Club out of respect. I think it should
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: be Junior Tommy Jay like that. I'll close it. But
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: y'all need to get Jelizzes off the stage. That's problem
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: right right if they do twenty five, that don't mean
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: one of your characters do twenty five. You said, you
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: say you're five offense. It's not gonna work because you
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: can't get along. I listened to me from the business standpoint.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I think it would be a great tour. Now here's
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: here's why I think it should go. I think Tommy
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: should host the show, okay, because then Tommy could come
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: out do it. He could come to a character with
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: a character. Junior come up first and then you go
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: up second. I think that's how the show should go,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: because then it it don't that's no star to the show,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: everybody has the starring moment. I think Tommy would be
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: the better host because he has more angles to come from.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: But Steve, who who do you think would act most
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: like a star? That's definitely at y'all stop that I
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: have seen it. I'm on the show bringing Tommy his soup.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I asked a question. We're trying to iron boy. Stop
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: that I've on the show, Shirley bringing Timmy his soup.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: But then I got to get dressed air perform. Okay,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: see the reason why and I'm always on team tim
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: and the reason why time is gonna be more trouble
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: first of all is Timmy. Then Tommy's characters. You gotta deal.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, like Butterfly. Yeah, down down do that, jac
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: down do that. I'm just gonna get this right here. Okay,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: come on, see I would promote it. I would have
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: my production company, I do it myself up all the
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: money we promoted from the show. Okay, wait, hold on, Steve,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: we we gotta go. We can continue this right after this.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, uh,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: in case you you're just joining us, In case you
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: missed it, Steve has just put together a show starring
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Junior Jay and headlining, and you know the diva of
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: it all, Nephew Tommy, and they're gonna we could actually
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: get a few dates in early. We could actually get
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: out in April. We could do April and May. We
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: could do April and May and then come back and
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: do September, October, November. Do we do too? Do we
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: do two shows in one place one night? And yeah, man,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to put it together. A good place
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: to kick it off with the saying a soul to
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: play kick off? No, that will be too late. I'll
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: be saying April standing souls, and I wonder how much
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Monique call? Oh you're gonna add someone else to the show? Is?
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: So you want me going to roll with this? Right? So?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: This why I got to travel with Carlin and I
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: run the concession stand or something? Can we can we get?

- 1:24:17Speaker 1: about the big game, about the super Bowl, all of
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: that about the Patriots and the Eagles. Let me ask
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: you guys this, if you were throwing a Super Bowl party,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: what's the best way to give one? What what makes
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: a great super Bowl party? Besides the game, of course,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: you know, especially if the fighting. Yeah, y'all really want
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: to know. Yeah yeah, if you get like, you know,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: a bartender and some waitresses. But how the waitresses painted
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: painted on jersey? This is really really nice. They beat Yeah,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: they beat naked, but but you know, wife and kids
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: got to be gone, but they'd be naked, but they
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: the jersey be painted on them. Se you made too
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: much money? Time? What does money come on? We can't
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: anybody for that. And then plus people we know, we
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: don't want them painting. We don't want that. Okay, let's
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: just somebody. I got a lot of people I don't
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: won't paint it all. You really need to have a
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: good superow point is everybody gotta contribute. See, if you
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: ain't got nothing, don't look at me to have everything.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: You won't. They're gonna happen. I'm gonna have a wings.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: I probably have a couple of drinks for you. But
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: then you want to bring something except for so calling
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you good. I know you you cook. You surely don't
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: bring nothing. You just come. Sure. But see if you
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: came to my hus and I gave a party, you
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: wouldn't have to bring a thing. I'd have everything for you. Everything.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: I don't do that everything I usually tell people to bring,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: like bring what you want to drink or some ice.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: You don't pick up something like that. But you have
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: to bring the food. You gotta bring food. But if
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: you don't like chicken wings, because that's what you serve
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: as super Bowl party, Yeah, yeah, that's it. You have
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: to have wings. Yeah, if you don't have your wings
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: now though, you might have a problem. It runs out
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: of wings this time of the year. You know that,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: because what is it, Tay Sunday? Yes, you have how
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: many you gotta have some wings? Now? You keep keeping
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: how many people that feed? So you're gonna have a
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: party with fifty people? Okay? Wings? What else you're gonna
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: have wings? You're gonna have beer, You're gonna have some sweet.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: You gotta have something sweet. Well, you can have wine cocktails,
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: it just doesn't have to be beer. And then you
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: can have like naas Okay, always works. If I get
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: that peach cop I bet you fly down. I'm there.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: So now you're frying your wings on the map, your
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: build on your master built Tommy, okay, yeah, or you
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: can put him in that electric smoke and smoke so
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: I love smoked wings. Yeah. So now we got wings.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: We got nachos and peach cobbler. Peach cobbler for dessert.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: You gotta have some fruit puttybody, don't drink. You gotta
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: have something fruit. Yeah, yeah, but what about your sides?
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: Like you got sides? Right? You're a game. You potato chips? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: you ain't getting You ain't even get full of meal.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Once you leave the Super Bowl party. You're still gonna
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: be really home before you come. Okay, you can a
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: pizza for the kids. And okay, all right, and you
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: gotta have a game on more than one TV and

- 1:28:06Speaker 1: get them big places that people can load. Yeah, a
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: small plate. It's all right. Uh, we'll be back with

- 1:28:56Speaker 1: the economy, and he will also talk about building a stay,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: a strong and proud America. Some of the Democrats planned
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: to boycott the State of a Union address due to
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: tensions from Trump's s whole comments about Haiti and Africa.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: John Lewis of Georgia. The congressman there, Maxine Waters, Congresswoman
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: Waters from California, Frederika Wilson, we all remember her, Florida
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: from Florida. Yeah, his wife be there because she hasn't
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: been scene lately. Oh Milania. Yeah, I bet she'll be there,
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: front and center. I bet you will switch them and
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: if he drives, she'll smack it away. Alright. Massachusetts congressman
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: and the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, Representative John Joseph
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: Kennedy the Third will deliver the Democratic party formal response
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: to Trump's State of the Union address, and Elizabeth Guzman
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: from Virginia will deliver the Democrat's response in Spanish. So
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: there you have it, all right, Hatty else in Maxine
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: Waters doing one on. Yeah, that's what I'm Yeah. I
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: got to hear with yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: is the truth. I don't have to hear yeah. So
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: are you gonna watch Steve? You didn't say watch Donald Trump? Yeah?
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: I don't know, man, that's like headache before I go
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: to bed. Mm hmmm, it's like asking for a headache.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: I just, man, I'm just so tired of reacting. I mean,
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: I just he's not gonna read that card man. That's
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: what I want him, not mesage. And if he does,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: it's gonna be so low energy. And but if he
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: goes off of it, then I got to go what
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: nopassion Hell Now, I gotta be mad on. I don't
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: feel like that before I go to bed. I don't know, man,
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm an watch it because already,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: what are you gonna say? He's gonna tell you how
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: great he is? HI one the election by landslide here
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: the biggest turnout the most. She shocked everybody with his win.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: But I want right, right, I want yeah, I'm president right,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: no collusion, there's new colusion? Yeah, that that find out,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: ain't no collusion? And how how low the unemployment is
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: for black people? Jay Z need to know that, you know. Yeah,
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: I don't know why y'all ain't happen. Aren't we still
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: twice as low as our white counterparts? Though? But there's
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: new collusion. Damn way you all work, ain't no clusions.
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: Perhaps there's new collusion. Well they say he's gonna speak
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: from the heart too as well. Well, I won't to
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: know what time. That's what I want to hear. Yeah,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: he's gotta go to dial back. We'll see. All right,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: we'll be back to close out the show with just
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: one more thing and Steve's closing remarks. You're listening to
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: the Steve Morning Show. Here we go, last break of
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: the day. Steve, you're closing remarks for us. Hey, let
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: let me give you this thought that will help you out.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: Oh about other people's opinion. Don't let other people's opinion
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: determine your direction? In two thousand eighteen, don't let other
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: people's opinions in fact your direction in two thousand eighteen. See,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: let let me explain something to you. They don't know.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: They actually do not know what's best for you most people,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: or don't even people who are well meaning. They just
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: really don't know the answer to your success lies. Really,
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you, between you and the relationship you have
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: with God. God is in the dream come true business
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: and whatever he puts in your imagination, that's what he
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: had for you. We've covered this last week. But if
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: you're gonna allow people's opinion, other people's opinion to affect
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: your direction, you are now being guided by some people
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: other than you and God. What do they really know?
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Another thing about other people's opinion you gotta be careful
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: of because sometimes you need to look very closely at
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: the person that's providing the opinion. Look at them. Some
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: of them really really shouldn't be in the advisatory capacity.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: They really shouldn't. Man, it's some people passing out advice
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: in your life that hate that ain't took their own advice.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: It's some people giving you advice who need to be advised.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: It's some people giving you advice that don't listen to nothing.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: Nobody else got to say, and their life is just
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: an example of it. They are walking results of their
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: of their opinion of themselves, and and and and and
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: the and their ability to follow directions. So you gotta
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: be careful when you're taking directions from other people, because
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: everybody don't mean well, they don't even when they think
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: they do. Man, how many times man in my life, Man,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: if I let somebody give me an opinion about me,
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: an opinion which I should have never have listened to.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: You know, I'd say this all the time. I was
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: watching um um on Joel Osteen on TV, and he said,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: people's opinion of you is none of your business, nor
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: should you make it yours. It doesn't matter what their
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: opinion of you is. It just doesn't matter because God
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: is in to come get you business. Let me tell
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: you something, man, wherever you are right now, I'm gonna
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: tell your story. I heard one time. It's called it's
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: like the Thomas and the Boat story. This man named
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: Thomas one day was out on the boat by herselves,
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: a beautiful day. It's out there sailing on the boat,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: and a storm came up out of nowhere, and it
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: capsized the boat. And he was way out and he
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: was lost at seat. But he got lost and he
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: got washed up on a deserted island, and so he
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: got up. He woke up, he shook up pretty bad,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: and he found himself on his deserted island. He didn't
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: know where his boat was, and that he was just
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: sitting there because voted capside, and so he's sitting there.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: So days went by, days and days and days went by.
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: He just out on this eyelley, just trying to make
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: it work, running out of food. He can't get nobody's attention.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: He drawing notes in the sand and stuff. Help. Nothing
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: planes going by, you don't he waving, don't nobody see him.
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: He just on this alley. So weeks it went by.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: So he got kind of crafty, so he decided one
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: day to build himself some shelter. He took some some
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: bamboo and some banana leaves and he built, you know,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: a little covering just for some shelter at night. And
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: this is going along pretty good for a few days,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: but he's getting a little bit more and more depressed
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: because nobody can find it. I mean, it ain't a
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: boat going by or nothing. And it just started getting
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: real down on itself. Because this predicament seems so unbelievable.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: So it made a fire like you do use at night,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: and the wind came up. And when the wind came up,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: a couple of the sparks hit the shelter, these dried
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: banana leaves and bamboo, and caught it on fire. I mean,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: a horrible fire. It's just burning it down. It had
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: been raining that night, man, and it started raining real bad,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: and he trying to stay warm, and all of a sudden,
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: sparks catch holding. All of a sudden, his whole his
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: whole house, a little hut temporary shelter is on fire.
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: And he just through now and he's just going, God,
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: where are you? Man? I'm so what are you doing
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: to me? Now? I've been out here weeks. I can't
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: get off this island. You don't hear me? And now
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: you didn't burn down my shelter. I mean, it's just
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: a fire, just burning. And he's standing there, man, just
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: complaining and telling God how he didn't forsake him, and
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: he didn't forgot he was out here and all this
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: trouble being out here all these weeks, Lord, where are
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: you now? And all of a sudden he saw some
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: flashlights and he saw some people running up on shore
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: and he couldn't believe it, but some people had had
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: found him, and he said, man, I've been out here
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: for weeks. What what did y'all do? How did y'all
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: find me? They said, we saw your smoke signal that
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: you're sent up. We just responded to your smoke signal.
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: He just dropped down and started crying because he thought
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: God had forsaken him, burned up his hut. But see
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: that disastrous moment right there turned out to be just
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: what he needed, that smoke signal, and they saw that
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: and what he thought was a disastrous fire, the one
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: ship that was going by, I saw the flames and
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: the smoke, and he rescued, God is coming. Man, have
