- 0:50Speaker 1: join me in doing me. Honey. You gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you. You gotta turn the turnow. You got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out, turn the water the water. Come come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your back. Uh huh, I sure will. A good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 1: One and only. Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show because God in the
- 2:14Speaker 1: blessing business. Yeah, that's all. I'm just a recipient. Steve
- 2:20Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show because God is in the
- 2:22Speaker 1: show you favor business. He showed me some favor. Steve
- 2:28Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show because God is in the
- 2:30Speaker 1: forgiving business. God and forgave me thousands and thousands of times,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know. And I say that as a big number
- 2:44Speaker 1: like that, because it's probably true. I can't even began
- 2:49Speaker 1: to count the amount of times He's forgiving me for
- 2:54Speaker 1: things I knowingly did and for things I've unknowingly done.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You know, I've unintentionally hurt some people without even knowing it.
- 3:05Speaker 1: He forgave me. That's amazing, man, that's amazing that he
- 3:10Speaker 1: would even forgive me for that. But there's the biggie though.
- 3:14Speaker 1: All the decisions I've made in my life, the deliberate
- 3:18Speaker 1: mistakes that I've made, that he's forgiven me for. That's
- 3:22Speaker 1: the big Man. You can only get that from God.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Do you know? Man, there are people out there that
- 3:29Speaker 1: you've done something to, just a little thing, and they
- 3:32Speaker 1: just have never forgiven you. There are people who've done
- 3:35Speaker 1: little things to you or big things to you, and
- 3:38Speaker 1: you just can't seem to forgive them. I am so
- 3:44Speaker 1: glad God is not that way. God is a forgiven God.
- 3:48Speaker 1: That's how I exist today, and that's how you exist today.
- 3:52Speaker 1: And one of the things I want to remind you
- 3:54Speaker 1: about even in existing today. You know, Joel Oldstein had
- 3:57Speaker 1: a has a book out called It's Your Time. I
- 4:00Speaker 1: love this boy. It's called It's Your Time. And that's
- 4:05Speaker 1: kind of what I want to touch you on today.
- 4:07Speaker 1: And I want to remind you all that it's still
- 4:10Speaker 1: your time. See, you know, there's look, you know, they've
- 4:16Speaker 1: got unsuccessful people have created a lot of sayings to
- 4:23Speaker 1: justify our failures as people. Well, my ship has passed.
- 4:30Speaker 1: That that was created by a person who did not
- 4:35Speaker 1: quite make their goal in the amount of time that
- 4:38Speaker 1: they had set for. So to justify it, here comes
- 4:41Speaker 1: this great, seemingly very clever saying, and a lot of
- 4:45Speaker 1: us adapt, Well, my ship has passed, so we adopt that.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Here's another one. Well, I guess it just wasn't meant
- 4:52Speaker 1: to be. That sounds good, don't it, because they mix
- 4:56Speaker 1: it up with a little bit of faith based in it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I guessed it wasn't. Well, here's another one. I guess
- 5:03Speaker 1: if God wanted it for me, i'd have it. Are
- 5:07Speaker 1: you serious? Man? Are you serious? You're actually gonna use
- 5:14Speaker 1: that one to to to justify where you are in life? Man,
- 5:20Speaker 1: that's that's so, that's so not the case. I want
- 5:23Speaker 1: to remind everybody today that it's still your time. That
- 5:30Speaker 1: you know, your ship hasn't sailed, you didn't miss all
- 5:34Speaker 1: of your opportunities. There's others. It's still your time. You
- 5:40Speaker 1: know you still got a chance, you still have a shot.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Here's a good one. You still have hope, you do,
- 5:53Speaker 1: all of you as long as God is who he is.
- 5:59Speaker 1: There's always hope for you. You can never lose sight
- 6:04Speaker 1: of that. You can never let the devil win that battle,
- 6:07Speaker 1: that there is no hope for you and cause you
- 6:11Speaker 1: to do something that's unthinkable. I'm just gonna cash in
- 6:16Speaker 1: the chips. I'm gonna take my life. I'm gonna commit suicide.
- 6:20Speaker 1: No no, no, wait a second, wait a second. Are
- 6:23Speaker 1: you for real? That's not God talking to you. That's
- 6:27Speaker 1: something wrong and it's not coming from him. It's still
- 6:33Speaker 1: your time. You still got a chance. There's always hope.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But listen to me. You got to move and you
- 6:41Speaker 1: got to move on it. So many people are not
- 6:46Speaker 1: getting the full benefit of their life, and so many
- 6:49Speaker 1: people are not getting all the blessings that God has
- 6:52Speaker 1: for because you keep waiting on the perfect time. Man.
- 6:56Speaker 1: How many times have I heard people come to me
- 6:58Speaker 1: and say, hey, man, I'm just waiting on everything to
- 7:01Speaker 1: line up. Right. Man, I'm waiting on the perfect time
- 7:04Speaker 1: to get can't tell you something. If I were waiting
- 7:09Speaker 1: on the perfect time, I wouldn't be hardly any of
- 7:14Speaker 1: the things that I've become. And one of my greatest
- 7:18Speaker 1: blessings was marrying Marjorie. I wouldn't even have married Marjorie
- 7:25Speaker 1: if I was waiting on the perfect time, because I
- 7:28Speaker 1: had gone through what I thought was enough misery to
- 7:33Speaker 1: cover my entire lifetime. And so when I was first divorced,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I just said, man, it's gonna be five six years
- 7:44Speaker 1: before I do this again. I said it. Two years
- 7:50Speaker 1: later I was married. But guess what, man, it wasn't
- 7:55Speaker 1: the perfect time. I didn't have my ducks, all my
- 7:58Speaker 1: ducks lined up in a row. It was still some
- 8:01Speaker 1: things I needed to clean up. I even told her,
- 8:04Speaker 1: it's some things I want to clean up out of
- 8:06Speaker 1: my life before you know it's it's I want I
- 8:10Speaker 1: want to make sure I got all the stars are
- 8:12Speaker 1: lined up, you know I want to I want to
- 8:14Speaker 1: wait until all the ducks are in a row. I
- 8:16Speaker 1: was waiting on the perfect time. If I had not stopped,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and Marjorie and I had set out and said to
- 8:25Speaker 1: each other there will be no perfect time. And then
- 8:30Speaker 1: she said, I'll go through with you whatever you're going through.
- 8:34Speaker 1: That was it. I took a chance. The ducks were
- 8:40Speaker 1: not lined up in a row. I had a lot
- 8:43Speaker 1: of baggage in my life, man, I wanted to try
- 8:45Speaker 1: to clear up I want to do some things financially different.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I wanted to just get rid of some residue I
- 8:52Speaker 1: had in my life. She said, no, we'll do it together,
- 8:56Speaker 1: because they ain't no perfect time. And guess what it wasn't.
- 9:00Speaker 1: So if you're out there waiting on the perfect time
- 9:03Speaker 1: to do something, it may not come. There is no
- 9:07Speaker 1: such thing as waiting on the perfect time. I've said
- 9:10Speaker 1: this a hundred times, and here comes one on one.
- 9:13Speaker 1: The road to success is always under construction. You ain't
- 9:17Speaker 1: gonna go out there and there ain't no barrels on
- 9:18Speaker 1: the road. You're not going out there and not running
- 9:21Speaker 1: to deet to a sign. You're not going out there
- 9:23Speaker 1: without seeing the men working signed to get off. You're
- 9:27Speaker 1: not going out there to see it. So guess what.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Stop waiting on the stars. I got man, this is
- 9:32Speaker 1: a perfect time to do it now. If you're waiting
- 9:36Speaker 1: on the perfect time, that could be one of your
- 9:39Speaker 1: biggest problems. You're still waiting. You have got to move
- 9:42Speaker 1: and you've got to move on it, and you've got
- 9:44Speaker 1: to make a decision to go now. God will get
- 9:48Speaker 1: you through everything necessary for you to get through. But
- 9:51Speaker 1: you can't quit though. See it is as apart. You
- 9:55Speaker 1: can't quit just because the road you're own is under construction.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You can't get off at the exit because you're tired
- 10:02Speaker 1: of all the bump of the bumper traffic. It's that way.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Get you some God, like I said, get you some God,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and go on and go see what your life can
- 10:11Speaker 1: be like. So stop waiting on the perfect time, Stop
- 10:15Speaker 1: waiting on the stars to align themselves. You got to
- 10:18Speaker 1: move and you got to move on it. Get you
- 10:21Speaker 1: some God, apply some faith, and get started. And remember
- 10:25Speaker 1: when you get out there, coming towards your goal, the
- 10:28Speaker 1: road to construct, the road to success is always under construction.
- 10:32Speaker 1: If it was easy, everybody would be it. Stop expecting
- 10:35Speaker 1: it to be easy. Come on out here, get up
- 10:37Speaker 1: in this thing. It's funky out here. Yeah I got
- 10:39Speaker 1: all that. It's hard out here, Yeah I got all that.
- 10:42Speaker 1: But what you wanna do, Man, what you wanna do?
- 10:46Speaker 1: You're gonna push your chips up to the window. It
- 10:49Speaker 1: ain't time for that. You still got time, You still
- 10:51Speaker 1: got a chance. There's always hope, there's always God. That's
- 10:55Speaker 1: my conversation to you're listening to show ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:03Speaker 1: boys and girls, people from all around the world. Listen

- 14:56Speaker 1: wrapping page. Yes, yeah, we're gonna use that paper next year.
- 15:05Speaker 1: We had that, I know. And my mom wrapped like
- 15:10Speaker 1: the grocery store wrapped. That was her thing. She loved wrapping. Oh,
- 15:14Speaker 1: yes she could. It looked just like it did at
- 15:17Speaker 1: the at the department stories. My mom could wrap. Yeah, man, girl,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I got an easy bake oven one year. Oh yes,

- 15:31Speaker 1: shape or whatever the dog dog if you if you
- 15:38Speaker 1: thought it was a truck, that's probably what it was.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It was obvious going over under the tree and just
- 15:44Speaker 1: feeling on the gifts trying to guess what it was.
- 15:46Speaker 1: The man if I wrapped it, you knew, Wow, I
- 15:54Speaker 1: gotta bowling ball. You know exactly what it looked like.
- 16:02Speaker 1: He gave I remember when I got a tape recorder
- 16:07Speaker 1: one year. Oh, that was always a good at the

- 16:14Speaker 1: I got a sting rewind fast forward. Yes, ye, yes,
- 16:18Speaker 1: good good stuff. One of my most frightening Christmas was
- 16:24Speaker 1: because of that tape recorder right there. Oh yeah, well
- 16:27Speaker 1: happened to what you pressed play and recorder frighters to
- 16:32Speaker 1: get it done? Yes, yes, my mama got me mine
- 16:36Speaker 1: for Christmas. I took it upstairs and recorded Rudy ray
- 16:40Speaker 1: Moole signifying the Monkey down in the Joker that signified market,
- 16:49Speaker 1: damn shouted, got it walked through the trees and all
- 16:55Speaker 1: open market old where you Steve. I was in elementary school.
- 17:03Speaker 1: He was cussing. He was seven, six or seven. Don't
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know about Rudy ray Moore where my dad and
- 17:11Speaker 1: them used to play it? Ok, And I used to
- 17:13Speaker 1: sit on the steps in the hallway and listen to it.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Be in the hallway hollyday. Everybody had the albums man,
- 17:20Speaker 1: but I remember right album the whole signifying monkey, and
- 17:25Speaker 1: I could sound just like it. So when my mama
- 17:28Speaker 1: got it, I went upstairs and I'm recording wear down
- 17:31Speaker 1: in the Jungle d signifying monkey, cussing and everything I'm
- 17:41Speaker 1: talking about cuss just like that's when you first look
- 17:43Speaker 1: you fell a love like this, So everything going good.
- 17:46Speaker 1: We go to church that morning. We come back. A
- 17:49Speaker 1: couple of sister Porter and sister r Bell came over
- 17:53Speaker 1: to see my mom and they was in there in
- 17:57Speaker 1: the living room, and I had my recorder on the
- 18:00Speaker 1: coffee table because I say, saw a cookie on the
- 18:03Speaker 1: down room table. I went to get a matter of
- 18:05Speaker 1: fact of rice crispy, and when I came back, my
- 18:10Speaker 1: mama had to recorded her. Now my stomach, she said,
- 18:20Speaker 1: what did They was all timing out. Uh, sister Harvey,
- 18:24Speaker 1: what is that? That's these new recorders that you buy.
- 18:27Speaker 1: We bought one for Steve. I'm just looking at head man.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Don't hit that, sister or to say, what's on it?
- 18:46Speaker 1: My mama pressed play. I opened it up like this
- 18:54Speaker 1: were down in the jungle. D that's signifying market that
- 19:02Speaker 1: did ever sleep? Yeah, I'm cussing it everything, but I
- 19:09Speaker 1: mean it's on the record. So my mama trying to
- 19:13Speaker 1: find the button, but she can't cut it off. She
- 19:18Speaker 1: can't control the volume or nothing. She's steady hitting the
- 19:22Speaker 1: plate button. Well that's already down. Your baby talking at
- 19:28Speaker 1: the church, say, oh that's that's Rudy ray Mo. So
- 19:34Speaker 1: I said, okay, that might help a little bit, they say,
- 19:37Speaker 1: She say, but who is it though? Oh? Who's saying this? Yeah?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Everybody looking at me. I'm just trying to figure out
- 19:47Speaker 1: how I can make this recorded disappear and bleek enough.
- 19:55Speaker 1: If I stay here and look out the window, maybe
- 19:58Speaker 1: they won't notice this. Man, I was sitting there in trouble.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Mama's finally cut that thing off. She said, Boy Lord Jesus,
- 20:08Speaker 1: when your daddy get home? Oh no, man, so they left.
- 20:12Speaker 1: My daddy came home, she said, snip. Listen to what
- 20:15Speaker 1: this boy didn't put on his on Christmas? She pressed,
- 20:22Speaker 1: playing again, wear Down Jungle d My daddy saying who
- 20:33Speaker 1: is that? My mom was saying, that's your son, boy,
- 20:40Speaker 1: and then my daddy listening to it, and the star
- 20:43Speaker 1: smiling boy, that's you. Uh huh, yes, sir, I'm just shrinking.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'll tell you all right, and the bring phone call
- 20:55Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening Steve Morning Show,
- 21:01Speaker 1: all right. Before we went to brake, Steve, you were
- 21:03Speaker 1: telling us the story about when your dad heard you
- 21:06Speaker 1: recite Rudy ray Moore on your brand new car. Mama,
- 21:10Speaker 1: come home on Christmas. Look at what your boys doing. Yeah,
- 21:16Speaker 1: so she pressed on way down and show that blankly
- 21:28Speaker 1: blank didn't ever sleep walking through trees and swinging in
- 21:35Speaker 1: the sand. That black it. So my daddy listened to it,
- 21:43Speaker 1: and he smiled. He said, boy, that's you. Oh yes,
- 21:48Speaker 1: you're in trouble. He said, where your cold a go,
- 21:53Speaker 1: get your coat, Come on the cold as confidence. I
- 22:01Speaker 1: ain't never done. I used to go on in the basement.
- 22:04Speaker 1: The come. He puts me in the car, he gets
- 22:07Speaker 1: the machine. We back out. We drive right up the
- 22:11Speaker 1: Earl's gas station about five minutes from the house. He
- 22:15Speaker 1: got walking there on there, man, Christmas slick. What's up
- 22:19Speaker 1: a little boy? Man, Christmas boy, I got something for y'all.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Get it right here, damn me? Who this is here?
- 22:28Speaker 1: So all the men and that boy that rooted right mote. No,

- 22:50Speaker 1: can't you think you about in front of y'all life.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And I got the cussing from y'all. Did you do it? Hell? Yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 1: way like that right there? Oh man, I love it,
- 23:11Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. My daddy thought it
- 23:13Speaker 1: was the greatest thing. You here now, he said, the
- 23:15Speaker 1: woman get back home, tell you mama. We rode and
- 23:18Speaker 1: talked about it. Okay, well they ain't gonna whoop your

- 23:32Speaker 1: He thought that was the greatest thing. Yeah, you're great.
- 23:36Speaker 1: You take all that cussing off of that machine. You
- 23:41Speaker 1: ain't even where you to learn tease words from. You're
- 23:48Speaker 1: playing that all the party album is good? Yeah? Yeah, wow?

- 24:13Speaker 1: be many Yeah, I love it, no that he'll be
- 24:19Speaker 1: funny funny man. See, I was still a Richard Pryde.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Oh huh, I'm doing Richard and Eddie. Oh yeah, that's
- 24:29Speaker 1: like Delirious was my my stand up, specially that Eddie
- 24:34Speaker 1: did Delirious. Who Richard Pryde wanted? That's the one? Yeah man, wow,
- 24:48Speaker 1: I mean that that was back in the day when
- 24:52Speaker 1: you when your parents had parties, and weren't those called
- 24:55Speaker 1: party albums or something? Yeah? Absolutely the album So they
- 25:00Speaker 1: were playing, you couldn't listen. You had to come in
- 25:03Speaker 1: in dance for him, and you had to go them back. Yeah,
- 25:05Speaker 1: come on. And the record player was right next to
- 25:07Speaker 1: the steps leading up to my room, and it was
- 25:09Speaker 1: behind the wall. I sat on the steps and I
- 25:13Speaker 1: learned how to cuss everything. Yeah, the good old day,
- 25:19Speaker 1: Gus Gus Gus goody Google that said American classic right there.
- 25:28Speaker 1: For that red level outfit, that was classic. Oh yeah,
- 25:32Speaker 1: yeah for sure. What was that red that was delirious
- 25:37Speaker 1: with purple? Yeah, purple leather. All leather was wrong? Yeah,
- 25:46Speaker 1: was wrong? Yea, no, man, when that food was doing that,
- 25:51Speaker 1: that food was doing that dog man, Oh yeah, got

- 27:09Speaker 1: dog Man, he don't get in the hot tub. Wait
- 27:19Speaker 1: a minute, boy, that was it? Boy in the in
- 27:23Speaker 1: the movie Trading Places, What is your name? Valentine? Valentine? Boy,
- 27:34Speaker 1: when they finally got him off the street and took
- 27:36Speaker 1: him to the house and they had him in the
- 27:38Speaker 1: back and he was taking the bath and they was
- 27:40Speaker 1: coming out shitting and dope and he was in that
- 27:42Speaker 1: singing when I showed that to my dad, and my
- 27:45Speaker 1: dad in Hollyda Lad, when you think of it, bye,
- 27:54Speaker 1: when you think got it? Get him by War used
- 28:03Speaker 1: to open this show every day with that, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 28:07Speaker 1: that's where I got it from many good memory, I
- 28:11Speaker 1: tell you, man that that that what's what's what's the best?
- 28:15Speaker 1: Forty eight hours a Beverly Hills, Oh what's forty eight
- 28:19Speaker 1: hours about? When he was with nicknoted, Oh, yeah, Trading Place,
- 28:23Speaker 1: Coming to America, Coming to American, Funniest comedy movie I've
- 28:27Speaker 1: ever seen. Yeah, yeah, it was great. It was cool.
- 28:36Speaker 1: You're listening, all right. The stereotype of being single during
- 28:43Speaker 1: the holidays usually brings looks of pity from people, but really, really,
- 28:48Speaker 1: it can be cool. It can if you're single. What
- 28:52Speaker 1: being single for the holiday? Yeah, and I'll look at
- 28:54Speaker 1: people for you need to find somebody. Get up, don't don't.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you someday, wake your ass somewhere by yourself. Yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 1: wake up, Oh Christmas Day, by yourself. Ain't no noise
- 29:07Speaker 1: in another room? Wow? Okay, okay, glee. Well, there there
- 29:11Speaker 1: are a lot of things, junior, that single people can
- 29:14Speaker 1: do that someone with a significant other can't. How about that?
- 29:18Speaker 1: All right? All right, I'm gonna tell you your time
- 29:22Speaker 1: is your own for one thing. You have that freedom.
- 29:25Speaker 1: But guys, here are ways the singles have it better
- 29:28Speaker 1: during the holidays. Check it out, junior. There are no
- 29:31Speaker 1: fights waiting to happen, No fights waiting to happen. Someone's
- 29:35Speaker 1: good thing. Yeah, that's a great thing. Or break ups.
- 29:39Speaker 1: You know a lot of people break up over the holidays.
- 29:41Speaker 1: You don't have to worry about that. Can't. Can't break
- 29:43Speaker 1: up if you ain't gotten no more by yourself. Yeah, okay,
- 29:46Speaker 1: here's another one. You don't have to buy a lot
- 29:48Speaker 1: of gifts. Think about it. You ain't getting none. Okay,
- 29:53Speaker 1: I'm just looking at the bright side of this. There
- 29:56Speaker 1: are no mandatory spouse holiday parties you have to attend.
- 30:00Speaker 1: But your ass ain't got nothing on the stove. You
- 30:04Speaker 1: don't have to ain't no spells in the house. Okay,
- 30:08Speaker 1: here's another one. You don't have to choose which family
- 30:11Speaker 1: you're gonna celebrate with. There's always a fight about that,
- 30:14Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, but you need to find somebody, house stuff.
- 30:18Speaker 1: And then here's a good one. New Year's Eve. You
- 30:21Speaker 1: can go into twenty eighteen focusing all on you. Okay,
- 30:27Speaker 1: you ever brought into New Year's by yourself? When when
- 30:30Speaker 1: you do single, when you do blowing that horn, don't
- 30:33Speaker 1: nobody here, don't nobody here. You can focus on just
- 30:43Speaker 1: yourself bringing in the new year. Okay, what but you
- 30:46Speaker 1: couldn't do that the year before because you still buy you.
- 30:52Speaker 1: We're looking at the positive sight of being single, ste
- 30:55Speaker 1: that's all. No, there's no positive side. No, you don't
- 30:58Speaker 1: think so you need to find somebody. I remember the
- 31:00Speaker 1: first time we moved Atlanta. First, I didn't go home
- 31:03Speaker 1: when I moved Atlanta, all right, when I woke up
- 31:06Speaker 1: and there was nothing, nothing, no food, no nothing. I
- 31:11Speaker 1: called home. I heard all that joy and laughter and
- 31:14Speaker 1: getting passed around on the phone ain't fun. Who is that?
- 31:19Speaker 1: All these damn questions? I'm coming in? Who is that?
- 31:22Speaker 1: Let me talk to you? Who coming in? What y'all
- 31:24Speaker 1: doing it? Now? Who is that? Who is that? Now?
- 31:28Speaker 1: Is that the doubt? What? Baby? Is that? What y'all
- 31:31Speaker 1: look at that? You don't want to do that? Wow?
- 31:35Speaker 1: I like all of that. You yourself? You like being
- 31:42Speaker 1: by yourself during the holidays? No, jack ye Listen, listen, listen, listen.
- 31:48Speaker 1: That's what it sounds. So what that's what I'm talking about? Okay,
- 31:52Speaker 1: Christmas morning is like what at your house? Listen? Let
- 31:55Speaker 1: me listen. Don't you just love that? No? Pots rattlings?
- 32:02Speaker 1: Listen again? You maybe to hit who that joint? You
- 32:06Speaker 1: got to be lonely, got to be pots rattling, no noise, no,
- 32:11Speaker 1: let you hear it again, listen, not a damn that
- 32:17Speaker 1: you love it? No company at all? Kind of my house?
- 32:21Speaker 1: You ain't in the neighborhood because I ain't gonna let
- 32:24Speaker 1: you in. You know that I was just in the neighborhood. Yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 1: when you outside because you ain't coming in? What is
- 32:30Speaker 1: it in your house? About your house? Me? That's just
- 32:38Speaker 1: better man. I don't even I don't desist the Christmas morning.
- 32:41Speaker 1: It just means something, yeah, beautiful thing. Can't youroduce Smiths Anne,
- 32:46Speaker 1: I can't, gentleman without further ado, our very own voice
- 32:51Speaker 1: of reason. In fact, no fake news here, folks. This
- 32:54Speaker 1: and Trip, Thank you, thank you, Steve, Thanks everybody, and
- 32:57Speaker 1: a happy Christmas Eve everyone. This is ENTERP with the news.
- 33:01Speaker 1: The current partial government shutdown continues in a top White
- 33:04Speaker 1: House officialist quoted as saying that it may stretch until
- 33:06Speaker 1: next year, since Democrats and Republicans remained at an impass
- 33:10Speaker 1: over funding that President Trump's border wall requires. According to
- 33:14Speaker 1: President Trump, he wants over five billion dollars from US taxpayers,
- 33:17Speaker 1: while the Democrats say they're okay about maybe one and
- 33:20Speaker 1: a half billion, and Acting Chief of Staff Bill Vaney
- 33:23Speaker 1: tells Fox News Sunday that Trump is not moving away
- 33:25Speaker 1: from his stated position, not entirely. We had given an
- 33:29Speaker 1: offer a counter offer to mister Schumer, and immediately, I
- 33:33Speaker 1: think thereafter the Senate went into recess until at least Thursday.
- 33:36Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it meet before Thursday till we get
- 33:38Speaker 1: hear something back. But I don't think things are going
- 33:40Speaker 1: to move very quickly here for the next couple of
- 33:42Speaker 1: days Vaney says that the offer may to Senate democratically
- 33:45Speaker 1: to Charles Schumer, is between the president's request and what
- 33:48Speaker 1: the Democrats are willing to sign on to. So, in
- 33:49Speaker 1: other words, he's willing to come down a little bit,
- 33:52Speaker 1: and they're hoping that the Democrats will come up a
- 33:54Speaker 1: little bit. So right now, a quarter of the government
- 33:56Speaker 1: is affected by the shutdown. Eight hundred thousand federal workers
- 34:00Speaker 1: have been furloughed, while others are working without pay. The
- 34:03Speaker 1: effects of the shutdown, though, won't be what'll be most noticeable,
- 34:06Speaker 1: we can sing on Wednesday, when federal employees are scheduled
- 34:09Speaker 1: to return to work after the Christmas holiday, So we'll see.
- 34:11Speaker 1: President Trump has named a new Defense Secretary to replace
- 34:14Speaker 1: General Jim Mathis, who are resigned last week over differences
- 34:18Speaker 1: between himself and the President over Trump's plan pull out
- 34:21Speaker 1: of American Truth, some Syria, and some other foreign policy
- 34:24Speaker 1: decisions of some regarding Afghanistan and others. Mattis says he'll
- 34:28Speaker 1: be stepping down in February. That's what he said. However,
- 34:31Speaker 1: Trump says Defense Secretary the Deputy Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan,
- 34:36Speaker 1: will take over as acting Defense Secretary on January first,
- 34:39Speaker 1: or he's selling. He's basically telling Maddis you can leave now.
- 34:42Speaker 1: The President went on Twitter, as he so often does,
- 34:45Speaker 1: saying that quote, I am pleased to announce that our
- 34:47Speaker 1: very talented Deputy Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan, will assume
- 34:51Speaker 1: the title of Acting Secretary Defense starting January first. Patrick
- 34:54Speaker 1: has a long list of accomplishments while serving as deputy
- 34:57Speaker 1: and previously at boeing he will be great. Lebron James
- 35:02Speaker 1: is saying that the NFL owners have a slave mentality.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Lebron on his Friday night HBO show called him a
- 35:08Speaker 1: bunch of old white men who tossed players aside who
- 35:10Speaker 1: don't follow orders, and he made that statement during a
- 35:12Speaker 1: discussion over the treatment of players Colin Kaepernick and Eric
- 35:15Speaker 1: Reid who knelt during the playing of the national anthem
- 35:18Speaker 1: to call attention to this country's racial injustice and who
- 35:21Speaker 1: can't get a job. James added that he's so appreciative
- 35:24Speaker 1: of the NBA and it's commissioner because he says, quote,
- 35:26Speaker 1: he doesn't mind us having real feelings and allowing us
- 35:29Speaker 1: to express them. Dog lovers praising this move. Chief of Jackson,
- 35:33Speaker 1: Mississippi Police Department currently checking the whereabouts of all his departments,
- 35:36Speaker 1: form police talks as one guy actually gave his dog up.
- 35:40Speaker 1: This has been a trip with the news. Now back
- 35:41Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Mourning Show. You're listening to show,
- 35:46Speaker 1: Steve contained when you first started traveling and you're doing

- 44:10Speaker 1: Where you get that idea from? What do you mean
- 44:12Speaker 1: where I get them from? The idea? Like you got
- 44:14Speaker 1: a snow man, you got Santa Claus, some reindeals, you
- 44:17Speaker 1: got your whole house decorated. You got Jesus with the
- 44:21Speaker 1: Manger and the wise men around him. Where did you
- 44:25Speaker 1: get your idea from? I'm I'm lost what you're talking about? Man?
- 44:28Speaker 1: You asking me where I got a thing from them?
- 44:30Speaker 1: I mean you try to imply from them. I'm asking.
- 44:33Speaker 1: I'm asking you a question. Where did you get the
- 44:35Speaker 1: idea from? I made this up. I made up You
- 44:38Speaker 1: go with a team. That's Chrystmas base man, and that's
- 44:40Speaker 1: that's Chrystmas base Jesus there, Chrystmas Jesus, and and just

- 44:54Speaker 1: on your street. And I'm just asking you on the
- 44:57Speaker 1: reel where you get this idea from? I made this idea.
- 45:01Speaker 1: If I made this up, man, I made this up
- 45:03Speaker 1: just the second time you ask me why I get
- 45:05Speaker 1: idea from? What are you trying to go? The real deal? Dog?
- 45:08Speaker 1: The same thing you got if you come four streets over.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I got the same thing in my yard. And it
- 45:14Speaker 1: looked like you have stole my idea. And see what
- 45:18Speaker 1: you ain't gonna do is try to win Christmas yards
- 45:21Speaker 1: of the season. And you know stole my idea. That's
- 45:24Speaker 1: the problem I got with you. Now the problem you
- 45:26Speaker 1: got is like to twist it. Okay, to see I
- 45:29Speaker 1: put this together without it here, I never even heard
- 45:32Speaker 1: of you many begin with. Secondly, I've been doing this

- 45:40Speaker 1: You ain't had that theme last year. You ain't had that, man,
- 45:42Speaker 1: this thing last year. And to give the four and
- 45:44Speaker 1: I put myself in the same place every damn time
- 45:47Speaker 1: I put it down. You did not have this last
- 45:49Speaker 1: talk about who are you to call me and tell
- 45:51Speaker 1: me about my theme? And about my yard and what
- 45:53Speaker 1: you got going. I know you ain't copying. Man. Man,
- 45:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, and I ain't gonna
- 45:58Speaker 1: go no further. You need to read arrange your theme
- 46:01Speaker 1: and get a different thing, because you got the same
- 46:03Speaker 1: theme I got. No, you need to rearrange your okay,
- 46:06Speaker 1: because I ain't rearranging jack over here. Hey man, let
- 46:08Speaker 1: me tell you, jeth Man, and I'm being really as

- 46:26Speaker 1: your First of all, you ain't gonna come on my street,

- 49:38Speaker 1: doing it to Night of War, best yard three years
- 49:40Speaker 1: or three years running in this season. Now I think
- 49:43Speaker 1: you're trying to get mine. But see the problem is
- 49:46Speaker 1: you don't want the best yards because you're still in
- 49:48Speaker 1: my idea. How can I be sitting your man? Man?
- 49:51Speaker 1: You know what you and your and I'm ready to

- 49:59Speaker 1: on on say this to you? Write nowe dog? What
- 50:02Speaker 1: Larry on your streets told me to call you. Lads
- 50:05Speaker 1: later gave you my number. Larry and Tommy told me
- 50:09Speaker 1: to call you. Very Timmy told you to call me.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Do you know who Tommy is? That? Ain't they ain't
- 50:15Speaker 1: never missing? Ain't Tommy? To me? Who I'm Tommy? I'm
- 50:18Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 50:22Speaker 1: got planked by your boy, Larry Man. Nephew Tommy. You
- 50:27Speaker 1: want they show? Larry told me to call you. He said,
- 50:34Speaker 1: you win every single year the Christmas kill. But it's
- 50:38Speaker 1: kind of funny. Not. Let me ask you something. What's
- 50:40Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the lane? Oh? Man hands?
- 50:43Speaker 1: I don't know, Steve show you know what your sir?
- 50:49Speaker 1: Your sir? Okay, Steve, you you were gonna tell us
- 50:53Speaker 1: about the tidy bone commercial. Oh? In the bathroom again,
- 50:59Speaker 1: show out everything in this. I was flushing the toilet
- 51:04Speaker 1: right and our toilet water was blue. And I was
- 51:08Speaker 1: just a little boy, so I decided to open up
- 51:10Speaker 1: the lid to see why this water blue, and that
- 51:15Speaker 1: guy was all over my hand. And then my mama said, Steve,
- 51:19Speaker 1: get out that bad food. But my hands was wet.
- 51:22Speaker 1: So I grabbed the towel and wipe my hands off.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Now it's blue all over the towe. So she got
- 51:31Speaker 1: in the bathroom. All I heard was, who why don't towel?
- 51:39Speaker 1: Where's my good towel? A good? Yeah? We had our
- 51:43Speaker 1: family initial on that she had just got them, and
- 51:47Speaker 1: I had blue all over this top. He came out
- 51:50Speaker 1: there and said a little Stevie, did you wipe your
- 51:53Speaker 1: hands on them? Good time? Yeah? And I said, um,
- 52:01Speaker 1: did I lie? I could tell by the tone this,
- 52:04Speaker 1: I ask, just wipe my hand. I got to lie.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Somebody else had to. She said, hold your hands out.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I held my hands, blew all under my nails and everything. Yeah,
- 52:18Speaker 1: she said, more here, you just lied to me. You
- 52:21Speaker 1: don't put that blue all over them. Good time, I
- 52:24Speaker 1: just brought them. Time said, I tell you what. Tell
- 52:27Speaker 1: your daddy when he come home that you didn't do
- 52:28Speaker 1: that to them. Time called slick like them. Time like this,
- 52:37Speaker 1: queen did my black hairs? Daddy started, We will be back.

- 53:04Speaker 1: Tell him Steve, Yeah, do like she said. All right,
- 53:11Speaker 1: let's go, all right, all right, let's get it, y'all.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Buckle up, hold on tight. We got it from a
- 53:16Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Now, this is a very short letter subject.
- 53:21Speaker 1: You can't get anything for free from me. Okay, here,
- 53:26Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I used to be a working girl, but
- 53:29Speaker 1: I've been out of the game for five years since
- 53:32Speaker 1: I made this big lifestyle change. I have only dated
- 53:36Speaker 1: one man, and he knew about my past and was
- 53:39Speaker 1: willing and able to take care of me. Now that
- 53:42Speaker 1: I'm back on the dating scene, it's been hard for
- 53:45Speaker 1: me to transition to another good man. Dating is so
- 53:50Speaker 1: different now. In the past, I sold my body because
- 53:54Speaker 1: I needed the money to pay a couple of bills,
- 53:56Speaker 1: go out for nice dinners, and get whatever else my
- 53:58Speaker 1: heart desired. Now, through the grace of God, I can
- 54:02Speaker 1: pay for anything I need myself. But I still want
- 54:06Speaker 1: a man that is going to spend money on me
- 54:08Speaker 1: if I'm intimate with him. Is it wrong for me
- 54:11Speaker 1: to think like this? Nothing is free, So if he's
- 54:14Speaker 1: laying with me, shouldn't he pay? Okay? So then the
- 54:22Speaker 1: question becomes, are you out of the game or not? Okay,
- 54:26Speaker 1: because by the sound of your letter, you're still about
- 54:29Speaker 1: that life. I mean, you're obviously in the same mindset
- 54:33Speaker 1: from back in the day when you were, as you say,
- 54:35Speaker 1: selling your body for stuff. So as long as you're
- 54:39Speaker 1: thinking this way, you're you're not all the way out.
- 54:41Speaker 1: You're just not. I mean, no real man, no real
- 54:44Speaker 1: woman is going to just take money or just pay
- 54:48Speaker 1: you for being intimate with them. You know, if you
- 54:51Speaker 1: guys are in a relationship and on a date and stuff,
- 54:53Speaker 1: that's prostitution. I mean, that's what that is. Doing it
- 54:57Speaker 1: that way would mean that you're still in your old life,
- 55:00Speaker 1: You're still in the game. I mean, don't you get
- 55:02Speaker 1: that how that works? Um? If he's paying for intimacy,
- 55:07Speaker 1: he's paying for your services. Which that's what you did
- 55:11Speaker 1: back in the day when you said you were selling
- 55:13Speaker 1: your body to pay a couple of bills and get
- 55:15Speaker 1: whatever else your heart desired, along with some nice dinners.
- 55:19Speaker 1: So you have to stop thinking like that. You haven't
- 55:21Speaker 1: completely changed, Okay, you just haven't. And until you stop,
- 55:27Speaker 1: you probably won't meet that good man that you're wanting
- 55:30Speaker 1: to meet now since you and the other guy broke up. Steve, Well,
- 55:35Speaker 1: this is a real simple ladder. This is a letter
- 55:37Speaker 1: from this lady that was a hooker and a prostitute.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Stop all this working girl and all this here. This
- 55:45Speaker 1: is a hooker and a prosecuting trying to call it
- 55:51Speaker 1: with working girl. Call it what you want to call
- 55:52Speaker 1: this is hooking. We are here tricking, oh ja. He
- 55:57Speaker 1: said it best. A woman will sell her precious body
- 56:03Speaker 1: for a small piece of paper. It carries a lot
- 56:06Speaker 1: of weight. Oh that mean mean, mean, mean, green almighty dollar.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Oh lord, all this letter is about is about money.
- 56:22Speaker 1: She never mentioned love in this letter. Just love. This
- 56:26Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with love. That subject. You
- 56:29Speaker 1: can't get anything for free from me? Okay, cool, Then
- 56:34Speaker 1: you're into life, Stephen Shall. I used to be a
- 56:37Speaker 1: working girl, but I've been out of the game for
- 56:39Speaker 1: five years since I made this big lifestyle change. I've
- 56:42Speaker 1: only dated one man, and he knew about my past,
- 56:45Speaker 1: and it's willing able to take care of me now
- 56:48Speaker 1: that I'm back on the dating scene. So now something
- 56:51Speaker 1: happened with this one man. So now she back on
- 56:54Speaker 1: the Dayton scene. Now that I'm back on the dating scene,
- 56:58Speaker 1: it's been hard for me to transition to another good man.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Dating is so different now. In the past, I sold
- 57:05Speaker 1: my body because I needed the money to pay a
- 57:08Speaker 1: couple of bills, go out for nice dinners, and get
- 57:10Speaker 1: whatever else my heart desire. Now, through the grace of God,
- 57:13Speaker 1: I could pay for anything I need myself. Okay, that
- 57:18Speaker 1: was quick. I missed something here. You used to sell
- 57:24Speaker 1: your body so you could go out and take care
- 57:27Speaker 1: of some bills and nice dinners and get whatever else
- 57:30Speaker 1: your heart desire. Now, through the grace of God, I
- 57:32Speaker 1: could pay for anything I need myself now, So that
- 57:36Speaker 1: must mean you got a job. Yeah, that's what I think.
- 57:39Speaker 1: But I still want a man who's going to spend
- 57:41Speaker 1: money on me if I'm intimate with him. Well, you know,
- 57:45Speaker 1: in out the Life, Surely said it right. You're in
- 57:47Speaker 1: the life, y'a out the life, y'all have the life.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Yere into life. You don't make up your mind. The
- 57:50Speaker 1: only way this is gonna work is what Surely said.
- 57:52Speaker 1: You gotta change your mindset, okay, because all you're doing
- 57:57Speaker 1: right now you equating your sex to money. And as
- 58:01Speaker 1: long as that's what it is, you ain't heard love
- 58:04Speaker 1: in this letter, Compassion, companionship or friend. You know, someone
- 58:11Speaker 1: to lean on to share moments with That ain't what
- 58:15Speaker 1: You just still paying bills. And if I'm gonna lay
- 58:18Speaker 1: with you, you need to pay me something. And I'm
- 58:21Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. That thing you're selling, let me
- 58:25Speaker 1: help you out. It ain't all that good. I'm gonna
- 58:27Speaker 1: tell you that right now. No, no, it's not. And see,
- 58:30Speaker 1: let me tell you something you could quit thanking yours
- 58:32Speaker 1: is to catch me out the end all because it ain't.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Everybody got one. Don't nobody care because you're willing to
- 58:39Speaker 1: pass it out for money. Go quicker, go harder? What what? What? What?
- 58:44Speaker 1: Everybody got one? Somebody did a whole lot of them
- 58:48Speaker 1: betting yours. Yeah, and the reason you could get money
- 58:52Speaker 1: for it was was you fitting to sell it for money. See,
- 58:55Speaker 1: it's easy to get somebody to buy from you. Ain't
- 58:58Speaker 1: nobody got to have no conversation that here go fad it. Now,
- 59:01Speaker 1: let's go on to get it. That's not dating. Oh
- 59:06Speaker 1: you don't know what dog dog dog, She says. She
- 59:09Speaker 1: was an escort girl. She was a working girl. Now,
- 59:14Speaker 1: if you were solo, or you had a pimp or whatever,
- 59:17Speaker 1: I understand how all this go. Or if you're doing
- 59:20Speaker 1: it yourself. I don't know how you was doing it.
- 59:22Speaker 1: But you didn't equate it all this to money. Anybody
- 59:25Speaker 1: got time for this hill? Now look until you start
- 59:28Speaker 1: talking about love, companionship, friendship, warm and tender moments memory,
- 59:33Speaker 1: sunset walks on the beach, Then don't write me because
- 59:36Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. Because you want
- 59:38Speaker 1: to lay with somebody and get paid. So you you
- 59:41Speaker 1: want to stop being a hooker, but you want to
- 59:44Speaker 1: keep hooking principles. Right, So now go ahead on what
- 59:49Speaker 1: you just said right there. You want to stop hooking,
- 59:51Speaker 1: but you want to keep the hooker principle. Now that
- 59:55Speaker 1: don't make no damn sense to me. And we're not
- 59:57Speaker 1: doing a part two on this, damn mad Yeah, because
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: we threw with you. Do you think she take cash?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Apple squire? How do you think? But see that you
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: is stupid to me because dating is so different now
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you we own a dumb as a damn don't know.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Why do you have to tell him this every day?
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: All right? We have to take a little break right here.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: This letter is called you Can't Get Anything for Free
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: from Me. We're gonna come back and wrap things up
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour. Okay, you're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: here we are part two. I know you don't want
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: to do a part two of this letter. Uh. The
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: subject is you can't get Anything for free from Me.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: It's about a woman who says she used to be
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: a working girl, but she's changed, she's out the game now.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: But the men she meet, she wants them to pay
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: her for being intimate with them. So she's not really out.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: What why why are we still talking about it? Yeah?
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: She probably old school, is probably Western Union. She says,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: nothing is free. So if he's laying with me, shouldn't
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: he pay? Wow? Well yeah, why don't you charge him? Then?
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Just going back to what you just charge him, that
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: relationship is over. See, she doesn't understand. She her idea
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: of dating is just to go out with a man.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: It ain't She ain't looking for love. She ain't trying
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: to find a warm memories, try to have a future,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: raise her family. She's not trying to do none of that.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: All she trying to do is is date. Now. She
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: used to be a hooker. Okay, cool, Now you think
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: every man take you out? If you lay with him,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: you post to get some money. Okay, lady, Until you
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: want a relationship, don't call him, just keep hooking. Well,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: she's not the game. She not a gage physically not mentally. Yeah.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: All right, well listen, um, we gotta go. You can
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: email us or instagram us your thoughts on Today's Strawberry

- 1:02:31Speaker 1: gonna discuss what is best what is the best kind
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: of sex? Okay, we'll talk about that in ten minutes.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: But I did for a minute, I did want to
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: tell you this. Mariah Carey's in the news now. Remember
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: when she was engaged to the billionaire guy. He gave
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: her this diamond ring, Carla, Remember that that was worth
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: like ten million dollars. His name was Jane Packer. He
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: was from Australia. Yeah, right, right right, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, um,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: she pawned her diamond ring. She pawned it. Okay, that's
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: didn't kind of pawn shot? Pawn shot? You pawned a
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: two million dollars ring, ten million dollars, thirty five carrots? Okay? Whoa?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: And she took it to a Los Angeles jeweler right here.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: How much do you guys think she got for it?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Pawn shot? Do they keep that kind of money? I've
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: been to you're probably gonna get back about eight exactly.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Anybody going on? You got different? All right? Well, Mariah
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: got two million? Okay, she pawned a ring for two million. No,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the ring costs, yeah, she she got the ring costs
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: ten million. It was a thirty five carrot ring diamond ring.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: She went to the to a Los Angeles jeweler. He
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: gave her two million dollars. They supposedly signed a confidentiality
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: agreement and we'll never dive a details about the transaction.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Mariah's publicist basically confirmed the New York Story Post story,

- 1:21:46Speaker 1: All right, more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Morning Show. Okay, A really few depressing reasons someone will
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: lie on a date. All right, I'm depressing reasons. Give
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you some good reasons, all right. You want to hear
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: these and then you give it out yours. All right.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: They don't believe they're good enough, so they'll lie. Makes
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: deite they think of love if they think of love,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: of dating, and of relationships as a game, so they lie.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: They don't know any better. They just don't know any better,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: so they lie. Yeah, I'm I'm I'm planning. I'm gonna lie. Yeah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: and I know you guys have I'm not gonna tell
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you if I want to be with you. Yeah. That's
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: just three reasons. Yeah, yeah, yeah, those are the three
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: main ones. They don't believe they're good enough. They think
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: of it as a game, and they just simply do know.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: It's not that you don't thank you good enough. You
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: just making show you good enough. Yeah, Bob, Bob, build
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: it up. Oh yeah, No, it ain't that you don't
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: thank you good enough. I stacked a deck. How much
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you make a year? Four hundred thousands, you know, you
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: know you make forty a whole about four hundred thousand,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: you know, I get it. It's a bonus at the
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: end of the year, and then that keep a hopeful
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: of things gonna be. Yeah, I just got this job,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: so I'm on pace. Yeah, my bonus check at the
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: end of the year be three hundred and six and
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: nothing yet because they think it's a game. They just think,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you know, dating loving relationships. They think of it as
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: a game. It's just a game. So well, for guys
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: in the throwback business, it is a game. You mean,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: some girls into it for game too. They just want
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: to see if they can run their little situation and
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: make it work out, you know. And a lot of
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: women are playing the game now. So a lot of
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: people do think it's a game. It sounds to me
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: like you're justifying all this line that you're. No, I'm
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: not justifying nothing. But a lot of people think as
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: a game. Me and and women now treat dating like
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: a game. That's why so many that's why families just
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: broken the air. But everything jacked up now because TV
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: show man that Catfish. That's unbelievable to me. Three years
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: on line with a person, then't you going to meet him?
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: But I'm in a damn stranger color Carter playing Man,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: this little dude, good looking, little black kid was on Catfish.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I went to see this girl when it Man, you
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: should have seen this girl. Dog, I ain't gonna lie
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: to you. Dog out of whoop the dude on Catfish?
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Nonh Why I swear to God out of star because
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: they know what the person looked like for this. This
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: big girl came to this dobe. Man, it was Lyne,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: told my she not here, come back later. And the
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: little dude, good looking, little black dude. Ro. I couldn't
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: understand it, man, where you could you? He got to
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: have plenty girl friends back in Saint Louis. You're gonna
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: caught this plane down hill. It's me that little dude
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: looks She finally came clean and said it was me.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: What's what she looked like? John Wallace, Mamma, it was you.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Don't show called Mullett. Mama, Joe. You're proud of yourself
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: right now? Wow? Wait no, no wait, no wait no wait,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: all right, more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right. The stereotype of being single during
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: the holidays usually brings looks of pity from people, but really, really,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: it can be cool. It can if you're single. What
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: being single for the holiday? Yeah? And I don't look
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: to people. You need to find somebody, don't don't. I'm
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: telling you you need to find someday. Wake your ass
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: by yourself. Yeah, wake up, oh Christmas Day, by yourself,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: ain't no noise another room. Wow, okay, okay, go ahead. Well,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: there there are a lot of things, junior, that single
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: people can do that someone with a significant other can't.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: How about that? All right, all right, I'm gonna tell
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: you your time is your own for one thing. You
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: have that freedom. But guys, here are ways the singles
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: have it better during the holidays. Check it out, junior.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: There are no fights waiting to happen, No fights waiting
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: to happen someone good. Yeah, that's a great thing. Or
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: break up. You don't want a lot of people break
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: up over the holidays. You don't have to worry about that.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Can't can't break up if you ain't gotten nobody by yourself. Yeah, okay,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: here's another one. You don't have to buy a lot
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: of gifts. Think about it, You ain't getting none. Okay,
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: I'm just looking at the bright side of this. There
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: are no mandatory spouse holiday parties you have to attend
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: your aunts. Ain't got nothing on the stove, me, You
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: don't no spells in the house. Okay, here's another one.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: You don't have to choose which family you're gonna celebrate with.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: There's always a fight about that. You know, yeah, but
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: you need to find somebody house and then here's a
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: good one New Year's Eve. You can go into twenty
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: eighteen focusing all on you. Okay, you ever brought in
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: the New Years by yourself? Singles when you do blowing
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: that horn, don't nobody hit, don't nobody. You can focus
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: on just yourself bringing in the new year. Okay, but
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: you couldn't do that the year before because you still
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: buy you. We're looking at the positive sight of being single,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: that's all. No, there's there's no positive No, you don't
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: think you need to find somebody. I remember the first
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: time we moved Atlanta. First, I didn't go home when
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: I moved Atlanta, all right, when I woke up and
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: there was nothing, nothing, no food, no no I called home.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: I heard all that joy and laughter and getting passed

- 1:28:24Speaker 1: these damn questions? I'm coming in? Who is that? Let
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: me talk to you? Who coming in? What y'all doing it? Now?
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Who is that? Who is that? Now? Is that the doubt?
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: What baby? Is that? What y'all look at that? You
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: don't want to do that? Wow? I like all of that? Yourself?
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: You like being by yourself during the holidays. No jack, Listen, listen, listen, listen.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: That's what it sounds. So what that's what I'm talking about. Okay,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Christmas morning is like what at your house? Listen? Let
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: me listen. Don't you just love it? No pots rattling?
