- 2:21Speaker 1: a life for you that's greater than you could have
- 2:27Speaker 1: ever dreamed of? Did you know that there's a life
- 2:31Speaker 1: for you better than the one you've ever felt before?
- 2:36Speaker 1: And did you know that there was a life for
- 2:38Speaker 1: you much bigger than the one you wanted? And lastly,
- 2:46Speaker 1: did you know that what I just said it's true?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Did you know that did you know that the things
- 2:55Speaker 1: I just said are available to you? It's not just
- 3:01Speaker 1: intended for those who receive awards. It's for everybody. Yeah,
- 3:11Speaker 1: you two, It's for you who didn't get your high
- 3:16Speaker 1: school diploma. It's for you who are incarcerated. It's for
- 3:25Speaker 1: you who have two strikes. It's for you who've been
- 3:32Speaker 1: sentenced to life. It's for you who've gotten out and
- 3:37Speaker 1: have a felony record and can't seem to get it together.
- 3:40Speaker 1: It's for you who have an illness. It's for you
- 3:47Speaker 1: who the doctors have given up on. It's for you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: This life I'm talking about, it's for you. Did you
- 3:58Speaker 1: know that there's a life for you better than the
- 4:03Speaker 1: one you dreamed about, better than the one you've imagined,
- 4:08Speaker 1: a life better than the one you thought of, That
- 4:11Speaker 1: there's a life for you better than the one you've
- 4:13Speaker 1: ever felt before. There's a life for you better than
- 4:17Speaker 1: the one you saw for yourself. There's a better life
- 4:20Speaker 1: for you than the one you expected and even the
- 4:24Speaker 1: one you wanted. Did you know that this is true
- 4:29Speaker 1: for you? See, here's let me give you the secret
- 4:33Speaker 1: to this thing. Now you have to believe that it
- 4:38Speaker 1: is for you. Now, you got to fight through the doubts.
- 4:42Speaker 1: You got to fight through the wheel of satan, because
- 4:45Speaker 1: the devil is busy. Man. The devil wants you to
- 4:47Speaker 1: think that is hopeless. The devil wants you to think
- 4:50Speaker 1: that this is it. The devil wants you to think
- 4:53Speaker 1: that ain't no more to it. The devil wants you
- 4:55Speaker 1: to think that this applies to other people. But you, Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 1: you've been dealt the world hand of them all. What
- 5:01Speaker 1: you ain't. But that's what the devil wants you to think.
- 5:03Speaker 1: So you gotta fight through. Now. You gotta fight through
- 5:07Speaker 1: to get to what I just said is available for you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But what else you got to do? You ain't doing
- 5:12Speaker 1: nothing else, might as well fight. Why just wake up
- 5:15Speaker 1: and just let it be? Why would you wake up
- 5:17Speaker 1: every day and just exist when there's a chance for
- 5:21Speaker 1: you to actually live? See the reason I don't mind
- 5:24Speaker 1: smiling so much now is because I'm no longer existing.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm living now. See. See, that's what you want to
- 5:31Speaker 1: get to. You don't want to exist, to wake up,
- 5:34Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck, date today, not knowing, not understanding, not having,
- 5:40Speaker 1: can't can't get this, can't get that, can't go here,
- 5:43Speaker 1: can't go there, Gotta wait, gotta wait, gotta wait, gota
- 5:46Speaker 1: wait till it seems like you never get nowhere, you
- 5:49Speaker 1: can get out of that rut of life, feeling like
- 5:52Speaker 1: when you wake up in the morning, that your life
- 5:54Speaker 1: is whole hum that you're just in a rut. I
- 5:56Speaker 1: drive the same way to work, I do the same
- 5:59Speaker 1: thing my job. When I get off, I drive all
- 6:02Speaker 1: the way back home. I sit there, I read the newspaper,
- 6:06Speaker 1: I water the lawn. I'm so sick of my life.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man, and start
- 6:11Speaker 1: wake up and start over, do the same thing. Then
- 6:14Speaker 1: the weekend gets in. You got to mow the lawn,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and then you try to fix something in the garage,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and you feel like your life is in the rut.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm talking about. If this feels like a rut to
- 6:23Speaker 1: you know, if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool
- 6:25Speaker 1: with that. But I'm talking to people who want it more,
- 6:29Speaker 1: who would love their life to be more, who would
- 6:31Speaker 1: love their life to different, to be different. I'm not
- 6:34Speaker 1: criticizing you if I just described your life. I'm just
- 6:38Speaker 1: only talking to the ones who would dare to believe
- 6:42Speaker 1: that there's more to it than this. I'm only talking
- 6:45Speaker 1: to the ones who would dad dad to accept the
- 6:49Speaker 1: challenge to fight through and see what God got for
- 6:53Speaker 1: you instead of listening to Satan all the time. Devil
- 6:56Speaker 1: is busy, man, Please understand, he's so busy, so busy,
- 6:59Speaker 1: trying to trick you, get you into the groove. You
- 7:02Speaker 1: know they're doing all kinds of stuff now, man, you
- 7:05Speaker 1: know atheists and already got prayer taking out of schools.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Excuse me, look at our skills schools, not as a
- 7:11Speaker 1: push by the atheist to get the words in God
- 7:14Speaker 1: we trust, taking off our money. Here's a deal. If
- 7:16Speaker 1: you don't believe in God and you don't want trust
- 7:18Speaker 1: in God, just going about your business. But what you
- 7:20Speaker 1: can't do is spill off all into what I'm talking about.
- 7:23Speaker 1: That's the problem I have with all of them. If
- 7:26Speaker 1: you're gonna do you, didn't do you, but don't spill
- 7:28Speaker 1: off into what I got. Now. See, if you don't
- 7:30Speaker 1: believe what I'm saying, then I ain't talking to you.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Let's just be clear about the relationship with Steve Harvey
- 7:36Speaker 1: and his crew. I'm only talking to the people that
- 7:39Speaker 1: believe that are looking for something else, that wants something more,
- 7:43Speaker 1: that wants something better, that's gotta be out there searching
- 7:47Speaker 1: and hoping and trying to do more. That's all I'm
- 7:50Speaker 1: talking to now. If you don't believe what I'm saying
- 7:53Speaker 1: it's true, didn't go ahead and try it your way,
- 7:55Speaker 1: go see write me, email me, let me know how
- 7:57Speaker 1: it's going for you. But I'm telling you of a
- 8:00Speaker 1: way that's tried and true. If you go to God,
- 8:04Speaker 1: if you go to your creator, your makeup, if you
- 8:07Speaker 1: go to him and you go to him for real
- 8:11Speaker 1: and tell him, hey, you know what, I want you
- 8:14Speaker 1: to go ahead and take over from here. I'm done.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I didn't done all I know how to do out
- 8:19Speaker 1: and tried everything I know how to try. I'm sick
- 8:22Speaker 1: of me right now. Hey look here, you created me
- 8:25Speaker 1: what you want me to do, and you're a cool
- 8:27Speaker 1: thing about it. When I made that decision, y'all see,
- 8:30Speaker 1: I was so afraid for years that I was gonna
- 8:32Speaker 1: miss out on something if I did that, I couldn't
- 8:34Speaker 1: do this no more. But the stuff I needed to
- 8:36Speaker 1: stop doing. I really need to stop the things I
- 8:39Speaker 1: was afraid of not being able to do anymore with
- 8:41Speaker 1: the very same things I really didn't need to be
- 8:43Speaker 1: doing no more in the first place. On the real man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: on the real, all that temporary fun. I was having
- 8:51Speaker 1: all them temporary outlets. I was using all them temporary
- 8:55Speaker 1: things trying to fulfill myself I was doing. I was
- 8:57Speaker 1: just doing a bunch of temporary mess. Man. I said,
- 9:00Speaker 1: hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man, I want
- 9:03Speaker 1: a permanent feeling in my heart that it's gonna be
- 9:06Speaker 1: all right. So he replaced all that fun with joy.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But it's only because I went and I faced him.
- 9:13Speaker 1: He didn't take me and stop me from being me.
- 9:16Speaker 1: He just made a better version of me. See, God,
- 9:20Speaker 1: don't take he because all the stuff he sent you through,
- 9:23Speaker 1: he needed you to go through all him. He needed
- 9:25Speaker 1: you to have him experience or what it felt like
- 9:27Speaker 1: to be locked up. He needed you to have experience
- 9:29Speaker 1: and know what it was to lose everything. He needed
- 9:32Speaker 1: you to have experience to make you tough. You're just
- 9:35Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough soldier in
- 9:38Speaker 1: his army. That's all I just say. One of the
- 9:41Speaker 1: weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God didn't take
- 9:46Speaker 1: a lot of stuff from it, except the stuff I needed.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But the stuff he made me to be, He allowed
- 9:51Speaker 1: me to keep it, and he just made a better
- 9:54Speaker 1: me do that, y'all, and you can have what you want.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, Ladies and gentlemen, now have your attention please.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I'm looking for all people who are members of human race,
- 10:09Speaker 1: and for the few select people that have out of
- 10:12Speaker 1: body experiences, and I'm looking for people who have been
- 10:16Speaker 1: diagnosed clinically that something is wrong with you. These are
- 10:21Speaker 1: the people I'm looking for today, and I want to
- 10:24Speaker 1: relate heavily today to those of you that have been
- 10:28Speaker 1: diagnosed with something clinically wrong with y'all. And when I
- 10:32Speaker 1: say diagnosed clinically, that means a lot of people not
- 10:37Speaker 1: in the medical field have told you you crazy. That's
- 10:40Speaker 1: who I'm looking for today. Shirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning, Steve.
- 10:45Speaker 1: How you doing. Wonderful Corlin for rel Good morning, Happy
- 10:49Speaker 1: Monday crew. What's happening, ladies and gentlemen. We're entering into
- 10:53Speaker 1: the ignorant segment of the show. Junior Boy. They told
- 10:59Speaker 1: me I'm gonna get past eleven. I'm here, all right? Yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 1: you still here? You're a fighter boy. Full number two
- 11:07Speaker 1: just finished taping nine hundred and seventy two episodes. I'm
- 11:13Speaker 1: mister Tyler Perry's Assisted Living second season tomorrow. Ain't no break. No,
- 11:25Speaker 1: we don't take a break. I have forty two scripts
- 11:28Speaker 1: to learn by in the morning and food. You're in
- 11:39Speaker 1: the building fresh off of the Bay Area, Uncle Steve.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I am back. I am in full stride, laying in
- 11:45Speaker 1: the cut for Alabama this week. I'm here. I am
- 11:49Speaker 1: broadcasting this morning live from Cairo. Egya, whoa hiro, God
- 11:57Speaker 1: is good? Safe journey, ain't no by the gout corona
- 12:01Speaker 1: or nothing. Hey man, do you know now, people, there's
- 12:05Speaker 1: a guy on the internet. There's a picture of a
- 12:07Speaker 1: guy who bought a chair bubble that he sits in
- 12:12Speaker 1: and he blows up on the plane and it's the
- 12:15Speaker 1: shape of a chair and he's in a bubble that
- 12:19Speaker 1: shaped like the chair on the plane. He's like his
- 12:22Speaker 1: own dome. But it's just wide enough for a chair, really,
- 12:26Speaker 1: and you know, far enough where you can stick your
- 12:28Speaker 1: heads out of here. That nobody behind that but his ass.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but if the corona get up in the
- 12:39Speaker 1: damn bubble, your ass gonna get yeah, yeah, your ass
- 12:46Speaker 1: get it. Fust shot. He just wanted y'all know that
- 12:50Speaker 1: that's available. My wife posted a picture of me and
- 12:54Speaker 1: her on the plane with the mask. I just put
- 12:56Speaker 1: it on as a joke. Okay, I was just heating
- 13:01Speaker 1: my own. Man. I said, I too, bo breaths in there,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and I said, you sweating boy, ain't no room in
- 13:11Speaker 1: my mask. I don't care how deep you make it.
- 13:13Speaker 1: My lips take up the whole man. So I'm just saying,
- 13:19Speaker 1: my mushtash, my nose, my lips, it's too much. It's
- 13:23Speaker 1: on fire. My coming up with thirty two minutes after
- 13:27Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have more of this weekend review. We'll
- 13:29Speaker 1: find out more of Steve's incredible plane that I watched,
- 13:33Speaker 1: what he's doing on Cairo. Oh good, Okay, we'll find
- 13:38Speaker 1: out about that and we can review when we come
- 13:40Speaker 1: back at thirty two minutes after the hour. Right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Steve? Before we left, you
- 13:48Speaker 1: were you were telling us about your hot breath. Basically, yeah, well,
- 13:53Speaker 1: just I can't Well that's what he said. Well, it's
- 13:56Speaker 1: too much. My nose is big, my lips is big,
- 13:59Speaker 1: my mushtasp all that in the mask I wear. I'm
- 14:09Speaker 1: washing my hands and pray. Do you wipe wipes? Man?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Let me tell you. I will tell you something. This
- 14:16Speaker 1: is though we flew Emirates right then. It was they
- 14:19Speaker 1: have some really deaf first premium classes, really really nice.
- 14:23Speaker 1: But I've never seen a cleaner first class. The people
- 14:26Speaker 1: I was flying with was sharing cloe rocks, wipes, they
- 14:30Speaker 1: had canisters, they had light sauce spray. The people was
- 14:33Speaker 1: up there spread. I let the lady go on and
- 14:35Speaker 1: wipe my whole area down. This nice lady was on
- 14:38Speaker 1: the plane. Mister Harvey, let me take care of that.
- 14:40Speaker 1: You obviously don't clean, lady, I ain't. She was a
- 14:43Speaker 1: passenger passenger. Yeah, she told me. She said, missus Harvey,
- 14:49Speaker 1: you don't mind because you, mister Harvey, you don't know
- 14:51Speaker 1: how to clean. She was an Indian lady. I know,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I don't know. I really don't. She said, let me
- 14:57Speaker 1: do it. That. They were sharing clothe rocks, pipes and everything.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And we got settled in, and uh, you know, I
- 15:04Speaker 1: watched some movies on the way, you know, seventeen our flights,
- 15:08Speaker 1: so yeah, man, I watched How Great, So damn mad
- 15:16Speaker 1: dog I was. I watched the whole movie with my
- 15:21Speaker 1: arms folded. Man, I'm talking. Do you hear me? Man,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm talking about just mad man, you know. And then
- 15:35Speaker 1: the white slave owners. Was she was suffering from anxiety
- 15:39Speaker 1: because she wasn't making much money, and she was gonna say,
- 15:42Speaker 1: some slaves get some money. Helfer what he I hope
- 15:47Speaker 1: you die. She got sick in the bed. I'm sitting
- 15:50Speaker 1: up here watching the movie praying she died. You know that.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Ain't that? Ain't how you post to watch? Damn about Harriet.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I wanted all the slaves owners to die. Yeah, and
- 16:03Speaker 1: then it got to this part where Harriet had one
- 16:06Speaker 1: of her slave owners at gun point. M uh huh
- 16:10Speaker 1: or this was the this I finally unfolded my arms
- 16:15Speaker 1: watching the movie, clapping, clapping. Here we go. We're gonna
- 16:20Speaker 1: bust your cap in. Here's the heads, now we're shooting him.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Do nothing happen in this movie. Let's bust a cap
- 16:27Speaker 1: in here. I want to vote it and I'll be
- 16:31Speaker 1: damn right. Was getting folded again, Steve, and your in
- 16:39Speaker 1: your words, I know you could not have liked the
- 16:42Speaker 1: Uncle Tom in the movie. You know who that was,
- 16:46Speaker 1: the big black guy, you big dog hunting black people.
- 16:52Speaker 1: You Uncle Tom chicken buzzers shoe boo, Uncle I co black.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I was so so sorry again this is surely I
- 17:12Speaker 1: was so movies, movies great. Yeah, he was the worst.
- 17:17Speaker 1: The woman that played Harriet, Oh man, she played that.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Oh the movie is greatly I I'm telling you, man,
- 17:26Speaker 1: if you had, if you don't, haven't seen it, you've
- 17:28Speaker 1: got to see this movie. This was a bad sister
- 17:31Speaker 1: right here. She was not to be told nothing by nobody.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And then when the one dude tried to turn around,
- 17:37Speaker 1: I ain't gonna crow the real I can't swim, boy,
- 17:40Speaker 1: you don't get your ass in this water. It was
- 17:44Speaker 1: just it was he saying, what I like. I like
- 17:49Speaker 1: her dad. Her dad said, I ain't seen y'all. Ain't
- 17:52Speaker 1: seen every day every time she came back to get
- 17:57Speaker 1: a new crew, he put a blindfold on, so has
- 18:02Speaker 1: seen him. He could say that in that way. He
- 18:07Speaker 1: wasn't lying, He wasn't lying, and he couldn't look like
- 18:10Speaker 1: he was lying. He couldn't. I ain't seen you. I haven't.
- 18:14Speaker 1: But she went back to god him, She went back
- 18:18Speaker 1: again him. He snatched that apron off, so fair. Yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 1: let's run. Yeah. Yeah. If you guys haven't seen Harriet's
- 18:27Speaker 1: starring Cynthia Revo, it is an excellent, excellent movie. It's
- 18:31Speaker 1: so good. People didn't want to see it, Steve, because
- 18:34Speaker 1: of the reasons you said, because they would be mad.
- 18:38Speaker 1: But it's more than magnificantly. You're gonna be mad. If
- 18:44Speaker 1: you're an older black person, you're going to be mad.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's not it's no way around it. No, no, no,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you're gonna be mad, But you're gonna be inspired too,
- 18:54Speaker 1: because this woman was such an inspiration. Her courage was
- 18:59Speaker 1: like it was monumental. It was really really what was
- 19:04Speaker 1: really good. Really, I wouldn't have gone back to get
- 19:07Speaker 1: other people. That's just we know. I'm up kicking it.
- 19:14Speaker 1: What you say, Jay? No? What once? One one? And
- 19:23Speaker 1: I'm telling Steve. I'm telling y'all before I go now,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm going one time. I'm going up there one time.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I all want to go Daddy. Now, y'all need to
- 19:39Speaker 1: go now because I'm looking here. I'm not coming back.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I'm not looking here, Jay. Jay you said, Jay, you
- 19:47Speaker 1: said once, I'm up there kicking it, free, kicking it.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Win suits. You know, man, hot, hot, devilish. They were
- 20:02Speaker 1: back then. If you made it to Philadelphia were you
- 20:06Speaker 1: were free? Right. So they got so sick of slaves
- 20:09Speaker 1: escaping they created this law slave all the time, slave
- 20:16Speaker 1: re enactment at where you could go up to Philly
- 20:19Speaker 1: and if you found your slave the ran away, you
- 20:22Speaker 1: could take him back. Found out about that, they got
- 20:27Speaker 1: a vote, they headed furthermore people at the point, at
- 20:32Speaker 1: some point you gotta stop to it. Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 20:39Speaker 1: that's six slaves left this week. All right, bottom line,
- 20:44Speaker 1: go see Marriott please. Okay, coming up since Monday, guys,
- 20:50Speaker 1: and you know what that means. Church complains with Reverend
- 20:52Speaker 1: Motown and Deacon death jan that's coming up right after
- 20:55Speaker 1: this you're listening to. Coming up at the top of
- 21:01Speaker 1: the hour, Miss Anna standing by with today's national news
- 21:04Speaker 1: and then trending entertainment news. Kobe Bryant crash site pictures,
- 21:09Speaker 1: Sheriff's department scandal. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 21:13Speaker 1: But now, right now, it's time to switch gears. It
- 21:16Speaker 1: is Monday, as we all know, and it's time for
- 21:18Speaker 1: church complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. Here
- 21:22Speaker 1: we go, crank, get out. We we are hell on
- 21:31Speaker 1: this blossipherous montimony. We are hell to galvel in the
- 21:41Speaker 1: sanctuary of uncratefulness. We are about to be Bombardi eight
- 21:49Speaker 1: with a complaint from the membership. Here atter jp JG,

- 22:30Speaker 1: night and thought he had of Parola, so he just
- 22:34Speaker 1: got out. So he's a little slow. All right, Pa,
- 22:38Speaker 1: Well let's get started here. I'm I need you to
- 22:42Speaker 1: talk to Brother Conny. He has giving up his wife
- 22:45Speaker 1: for Lynn. He said, uh, he not going back till
- 22:49Speaker 1: after East to me, why they rent is doing. Sister
- 22:52Speaker 1: Connie is panic and they need some help for the rent.
- 22:54Speaker 1: But Brother Connie said he's not gonna. He didn't give
- 22:56Speaker 1: his wife up for Lynn. He gave his wife. Where's
- 23:03Speaker 1: he staying now? I don't know. I have no idea.
- 23:07Speaker 1: He didn't say, but he is not over there, and
- 23:09Speaker 1: she says she has not seen him, so I don't know,
- 23:11Speaker 1: but I know I've heard that he was at Sister Ferguson's.
- 23:16Speaker 1: So obviously what he gave up to his wife he
- 23:21Speaker 1: is now given to Sister Ferguson, Okay, tell him that
- 23:27Speaker 1: that is not the true meaning of living. I don't
- 23:32Speaker 1: know what to do. Do you want to help her
- 23:34Speaker 1: with the rent though? That's the problem she got No brother,
- 23:38Speaker 1: Conny is still responsible. Or rent is very similar to
- 23:42Speaker 1: child's support. They're gonna come get it from you, some
- 23:49Speaker 1: kind of work. This is true. Not Let me move
- 23:53Speaker 1: right along, because we got a situation in the chair.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Then we didn't know what was going on. Sister Kendra Morris,
- 23:58Speaker 1: you know she has that electric car tesla. Now we
- 24:02Speaker 1: just found out that she's been charging her car up
- 24:05Speaker 1: here at the church every night since she only live
- 24:09Speaker 1: and electric billing Church nine eighteen hundred and thirty two.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Thousan sixty four said, now, how do you want to
- 24:14Speaker 1: handle this past? We ain't never had no bill this high.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You say, oh, kenya more, Sister Kendra Morris. Anybody said,
- 24:23Speaker 1: oh kenya more? Housewife? Oh I thought was charging up
- 24:29Speaker 1: her tesla at the church. Oh, I was gonna say,
- 24:38Speaker 1: housewives shows aren't paying what they look like home. I'm sorry, Well,
- 24:45Speaker 1: do you have proof that she's charging her car at
- 24:49Speaker 1: our church? Her talks here every night at the church
- 24:52Speaker 1: passed and she charges up her car and she walks
- 24:56Speaker 1: a block or two from her high that's what she's
- 24:58Speaker 1: been doing. Open. Well, that's a pretty pimp move. If
- 25:02Speaker 1: you how you gonna then you need to counter with
- 25:07Speaker 1: another pimp move, because it's eighteen hundred and thirty two
- 25:09Speaker 1: dollars work for electricity being well, I think it's called Calma, Deacon,
- 25:14Speaker 1: because I got a report from the shell on your
- 25:19Speaker 1: block that you have been driving your car up there,
- 25:22Speaker 1: pumping gas and driving off. Let's let's move right alone
- 25:27Speaker 1: with the let's move right alone. We're not gonna get involved.
- 25:33Speaker 1: We have a lawsuit coming to the church. Pastor Kirk
- 25:38Speaker 1: Franklin wants to sue us for using his song for
- 25:42Speaker 1: exterminating purposes. I don't know if you know that we've
- 25:45Speaker 1: been doing this instead of using exterminating company for the church.
- 25:48Speaker 1: We get all the young kids together and we play
- 25:51Speaker 1: the song Stump, and they have been getting rid of
- 25:54Speaker 1: all of the bo and he is trying to wow.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I don't know how to get out of it, but
- 26:01Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin is upset. When we put them kids in
- 26:04Speaker 1: the sametary and when we turn on scout, they get
- 26:06Speaker 1: through of all them bugs and it's better than the
- 26:10Speaker 1: hind and exterminating, so I don't he's upset with us
- 26:13Speaker 1: the file of lawsuit a fine friend of man. You
- 26:21Speaker 1: may have a case, but it's gonna be a short
- 26:24Speaker 1: trial for a short term. And tell him we've been
- 26:32Speaker 1: playing on the short version of the song you tall
- 26:38Speaker 1: of that? Oh brother? Yes, yes, all right past it.
- 26:48Speaker 1: As we know, tomorrow is Super Tuesday and is Super

- 27:03Speaker 1: they will be dropped out at the cafe around the
- 27:05Speaker 1: corner sugar buckets. So pastor, we need you the second
- 27:09Speaker 1: and now if your baby drunk when you get that,
- 27:11Speaker 1: that's your problem because you should have picked your tie
- 27:13Speaker 1: up before now. And you're not giving out the correct hours.
- 27:20Speaker 1: You're saying that our church will be open on Super
- 27:22Speaker 1: Tuesday for daycare so everyone could vote from six pm
- 27:27Speaker 1: to nine pm. That's right past those clothes at seven pm, Deacon,
- 27:33Speaker 1: I didn't know that when we're gonna have to adjust.
- 27:35Speaker 1: You're saying then that only you can only vote for
- 27:39Speaker 1: one hour. We you know we have a polling station
- 27:42Speaker 1: this year at our church super at the chat. Yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 1: but mom charging a charge to vote after ja lord
- 27:57Speaker 1: or it's shorter lines. But we're gonna need something, how
- 28:00Speaker 1: much five dollars to vote? It's all right if you can,
- 28:08Speaker 1: you can free. But once you come in, we give
- 28:14Speaker 1: you a couple of koolaid and a donut. I would
- 28:18Speaker 1: say you charged five dollars. That's once you get in.

- 28:37Speaker 1: down to vote and get that all right? Thank you,
- 28:41Speaker 1: Reverend Motown Teacon Death Cham coming up at the top
- 28:44Speaker 1: of the hour, entertainment and national news right after this
- 28:48Speaker 1: you're listening to show. In today's entertainment news, the Los
- 28:55Speaker 1: Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating reports that It's death
- 29:00Speaker 1: leaked gruesome photos taken out the side of the helicopter
- 29:04Speaker 1: crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others.
- 29:07Speaker 1: The department believes the graphic photos were taken by a trainee,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and they're not sure how widely they were shared, but
- 29:14Speaker 1: they've been told that the members of the La County
- 29:16Speaker 1: Fire Department have also received and shared them. Authorities say
- 29:21Speaker 1: the picture leak was first brought to their attention by
- 29:24Speaker 1: a bartender who saw a cop showing the pictures to
- 29:27Speaker 1: a woman he was trying to impress. The Sheriff's Department
- 29:31Speaker 1: was huh, I think would say, oh, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 29:38Speaker 1: I wouldn't be surprised. You want to show that it
- 29:42Speaker 1: really is bad. Yeah, that's not real money. Yeah, but
- 29:47Speaker 1: you're right. For money, money, money makes people do crazy things.
- 29:51Speaker 1: The sheriff Department was deeply disturbed about the pictures bad
- 29:55Speaker 1: thanks weird, and said a pharaoh invest stigation will be conducted.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Vanessa Bryant is heartsick, needless to say, over these revelations.
- 30:06Speaker 1: She posted a statement on her Instagram page from her attorneys,
- 30:09Speaker 1: and on that day of a crash on January twenty six,
- 30:12Speaker 1: Vanessa personally went to the Sheriff's Department and requested that
- 30:15Speaker 1: the crash site being no fly zone so photographers wouldn't
- 30:19Speaker 1: take pictures to protect the dignity and privacy of the families.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I mean, this is just unspeakable violation of people's privacy,
- 30:29Speaker 1: It really is it really it's um you know, first responders.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You're supposed to be able to trust them, right, you
- 30:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So for them to be the
- 30:39Speaker 1: ones that are sharing the pictures and leaking the pictures,
- 30:42Speaker 1: you had to remember too, it's not just Vanessa there,
- 30:45Speaker 1: there's a children who lost their parents who care. You
- 30:49Speaker 1: trust nobody. But but see if I think you hit
- 30:54Speaker 1: it on the head though, money yeah, money, If money
- 30:58Speaker 1: is involved, you know, people do crazy things to make
- 31:02Speaker 1: a couple of bucks and they don't care who they
- 31:04Speaker 1: hurt or you know, or anything. They don't they just
- 31:08Speaker 1: don't care. Taken and somebody to the news company. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 1: I mean, and this is not the first time and
- 31:14Speaker 1: it won't be the last, unfortunately for stuff like this
- 31:17Speaker 1: because of Princess Diana, those pictures and they had pictures
- 31:23Speaker 1: up man. Yeah. The fact you at the bar showing
- 31:27Speaker 1: these pictures trying to impress a gun. Yeah, that's what
- 31:30Speaker 1: you need, right, you needs. And a woman is impressed
- 31:34Speaker 1: by this, A woman is impressed by this. No, that's
- 31:38Speaker 1: why you're single, right now, sir? For real? Well, Vanessa Briant,
- 31:41Speaker 1: that's why she She also thanked the person for reporting
- 31:46Speaker 1: that this trainee was there at the bar. Totally, it
- 31:50Speaker 1: really is totally disrespectful. Yeah. Yeah, we have to do better.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I mean, we just have to do better. We do
- 32:00Speaker 1: Sadly we won't because we can do better. Yeah, but
- 32:04Speaker 1: you can. We are not in that world. We are
- 32:08Speaker 1: in a falling world, right, yeah, yeah, this world is
- 32:12Speaker 1: falling now. You can protect yourself with prayer, but we
- 32:17Speaker 1: are in a fallen world and you must understand that
- 32:20Speaker 1: evil is everywhere and it's going to continue. You don't
- 32:24Speaker 1: have to participate in it, and you can be guarded
- 32:27Speaker 1: and covered from it. Not to say that evil things
- 32:29Speaker 1: won't happen to you, but the effect of the people's
- 32:31Speaker 1: intent to cause you harm won't have the same effect
- 32:35Speaker 1: on you if you prayed though. Sorry, that's right, that's right,
- 32:39Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Time to get caught up on today's headline.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Ann Tripp, thank you, good morning everybody.

- 33:19Speaker 1: he plans to expand testing for it. If anyone's tested
- 33:22Speaker 1: for flu, they also will be tested for novel coronavirus.
- 33:25Speaker 1: That is a key part of our emergency supplemental is
- 33:28Speaker 1: I want to expand that kind of surveillance testing nationwide
- 33:32Speaker 1: as soon as Congress gets us the money. That'll be
- 33:34Speaker 1: out there throughout the country. And Secretary Zar says that
- 33:37Speaker 1: seventy five thousand CORONA tested kits are now available and
- 33:40Speaker 1: that that number is going to increase over the next week.
- 33:43Speaker 1: By the way, both American Airlines and Delta have canceled
- 33:45Speaker 1: all flights to Milan, Italy, where they have some coronavirus
- 33:49Speaker 1: problems over there. After more than eighteen years of war.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Get this, American military forces are scheduled anyway to be
- 33:56Speaker 1: fully withdrawn from Afghanistan. The reason the US and Italian
- 34:00Speaker 1: Banner poorly signed a peace agreement. However, critics point out
- 34:03Speaker 1: that the Taliban has been conducting attacks against both Americans
- 34:06Speaker 1: and Afghans and it doesn't recognize the Afghan government. The
- 34:10Speaker 1: war over there started right after nine to eleven. On
- 34:12Speaker 1: October seventh, two thousand and one. He came in third
- 34:16Speaker 1: behind Joe Biden in South Carolina and billionaire Hedge fund
- 34:19Speaker 1: investor environmentalist Tom Stier, leaving the race. Tom Stiers also pinning,
- 34:24Speaker 1: was also pinning his hopes on doing well in South Carolina,
- 34:28Speaker 1: having spent more time there and more money than any
- 34:30Speaker 1: other candidate, and he focused on racial and economic justice.
- 34:33Speaker 1: He also pushed hard for President Trump's impeachment pe Buddhaje
- 34:37Speaker 1: finished even further behind in fourth place, so now he's
- 34:41Speaker 1: also thrown in the towel as a mayor of a
- 34:43Speaker 1: say that's twenty five percent black. Buddhajesc came under criticism
- 34:46Speaker 1: for firing South Bend's very first black police chief after
- 34:49Speaker 1: the black police chief complained of the racism among the
- 34:51Speaker 1: rank and file, and Buddhajas also criticized was criticized over
- 34:55Speaker 1: his handling of a case of a white cop who
- 34:57Speaker 1: killed an unarmed black man back in June. So now
- 35:00Speaker 1: the election focuses on tomorrow Super Tuesday. We're fourteen states
- 35:03Speaker 1: hold primaries, including Delegate Rich Texas and California. The Democratic
- 35:09Speaker 1: presidential contenders on the bout tomorrow will include for the
- 35:11Speaker 1: first time, Michael Bloomberg. In the end, though, it's all
- 35:13Speaker 1: about those delegates. A one candidate would have to rack
- 35:16Speaker 1: out one thousand, nine ninety one delegates to snatch the nomination.
- 35:21Speaker 1: People left their desks at Silicon Valley's company Oracle last
- 35:24Speaker 1: week around the world to protest the recent fundraiser that
- 35:27Speaker 1: the company's chairman. Health of President Trump. Finally tops of
- 35:30Speaker 1: the weekend box office. Invisible Man, three Dreams Dead, Listen,
- 35:34Speaker 1: Getting Your Freedom Back. Okay, he's not dead. He has
- 35:38Speaker 1: figured out a way to be invisible. Twenty nine million
- 35:41Speaker 1: dollars is what it brought in. But out back to
- 35:42Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Morning show?
- 35:47Speaker 1: All right? So Jay is here, and Jay you were
- 35:51Speaker 1: here with some ways to let us know how we
- 35:54Speaker 1: can protect ourselves. How cos this is very serious. This
- 35:58Speaker 1: is a very serious virus is going on, coronavirus. I
- 36:03Speaker 1: just got some tips for people. But let me ask
- 36:05Speaker 1: you something though. If this is a serious virus, why
- 36:08Speaker 1: are we letting Jay hand this? Steve? These are very serious.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I'm ready for it now. I've joked and made foolery
- 36:21Speaker 1: a lot of times, but this is made a lot
- 36:23Speaker 1: of foolery not here. First of all, the coronavirus does
- 36:27Speaker 1: not come from Corona Bear. Okay, so stop putting that
- 36:31Speaker 1: out there. It's not from Corona Bear. They got tell that. Yeah,
- 36:39Speaker 1: it's just stop it, okay. I mean we got to
- 36:41Speaker 1: stop a lot of things that we were normally doing
- 36:43Speaker 1: a lot of this handshaking, all this this long on
- 36:50Speaker 1: the back high five and yeah yeah yeah, hands off.
- 36:58Speaker 1: You can hid, no, you can wink at somebody. But
- 37:01Speaker 1: that's pretty much it right there. A wink don't you
- 37:05Speaker 1: don't know what? And when you go to the restaurants,
- 37:08Speaker 1: don't ask nobody to hand you a damn thingis y'all?
- 37:13Speaker 1: You need a house picture? You got mannaids, so pepper, spoon, spoon, sir,
- 37:22Speaker 1: this is important. Spring toilet paper when you leave the house, check,
- 37:28Speaker 1: have a checklist, tilet paper, wet wipes, your condiments, kiss
- 37:33Speaker 1: you condiments, spoon nap okay, Mali pepper. Put your own
- 37:41Speaker 1: pepper in a little have your own damn pepper. Okay, okay,
- 37:46Speaker 1: don't ask you don't ask nobody to pass you a
- 37:49Speaker 1: damn thing. Okay, whatever's on that table could be infected.
- 37:53Speaker 1: You don't know what they got. Wow, thank you, And
- 38:00Speaker 1: this is very important. Don't let nobody hold your damn baby. Listen.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Just got to stop. Okay, you know, put the baby
- 38:09Speaker 1: on the ground. Day, get out my baby's face with
- 38:12Speaker 1: your effected ass, don't know what. And last but not least,
- 38:16Speaker 1: you football players, I have to stop patting each other
- 38:20Speaker 1: on the ass. So they're all that good play, all
- 38:23Speaker 1: that keeping your hands please inscted ass. Keep coming up.
- 38:40Speaker 1: In thirty four minutes after the hour, Joe Biden finally
- 38:44Speaker 1: finally won one uh the South Carolina primary and billionaire
- 38:50Speaker 1: Tom back that thing up stire has dropped out of
- 38:53Speaker 1: the presidential race. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 38:57Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, in this past Saturday,
- 39:03Speaker 1: Joe Biden finally won one short a big victory, yeah
- 39:08Speaker 1: Joe Biden by winning the South Carolina Democratic Primary, giving
- 39:12Speaker 1: him the victory of the twenty twenty Democratic presidential contest
- 39:16Speaker 1: as we get ready for Super Tuesday. Uh, some say
- 39:19Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar lost big and that could
- 39:23Speaker 1: possibly show they can't appeal to a diverse to get out.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I have I said in the beginning, why we let Amy.
- 39:39Speaker 1: No one is calling a president Amy because of her name.
- 39:49Speaker 1: President Amy not happening. And I told you Elizabeth Warren
- 39:58Speaker 1: needed go on and get out. Now she's trying to
- 40:01Speaker 1: damage everybody on her way out. She's not presidential material
- 40:05Speaker 1: to me. You know what, I what I know this
- 40:08Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren. I like her. She has a good mission,
- 40:10Speaker 1: but she needs to change them tops. The little jackets
- 40:13Speaker 1: are just not working. You can't be president. Is that
- 40:27Speaker 1: you don't look comfortable drinking? I like, we're not voting
- 40:33Speaker 1: for you because you like beer. We voted for a Cheetos.
- 40:40Speaker 1: We can't vote. What has to happen now, it's got
- 40:44Speaker 1: to get down to these three. It's got to get
- 40:47Speaker 1: down to Sanders, Biden and Bloomer and if he don't
- 40:51Speaker 1: do well on Super Tuesday, the ticket that I think
- 40:56Speaker 1: could win the presidency. This is just my opinion. This
- 40:59Speaker 1: is early. Now it's Joe, Biden and Bloomberg as Vice
- 41:04Speaker 1: president right right. Ye um, Sirley the black Lady, that's
- 41:12Speaker 1: who we should call cos that's the ticket for me,
- 41:17Speaker 1: Man Biden and Harris Harry. If you're drawing two, huh
- 41:25Speaker 1: were you in here for? Yeah, they had a dream.
- 41:29Speaker 1: They're not trying to give up on their dreams. Ain't
- 41:31Speaker 1: good on nothing but milk. That's it. Listen, you can
- 41:40Speaker 1: work hard. A part of you accomplishing your dreams. It
- 41:45Speaker 1: is your dreams have a greater chance of coming true
- 41:47Speaker 1: if you gifted or talented in that arena. Sometimes got
- 41:52Speaker 1: to give you grace and favor and you get one anyway.
- 41:55Speaker 1: You know. I've often been placed in positions I wasn't
- 41:58Speaker 1: qualified for, so that is so grace and favor in
- 42:01Speaker 1: your life. But I think we've had enough of people.
- 42:04Speaker 1: That's the President of the United States that's not qualified,
- 42:09Speaker 1: and I think the past four years has been a
- 42:12Speaker 1: man in the office who really wasn't qualified to be president. Now,
- 42:15Speaker 1: I tell you one thing I do disagree with though
- 42:19Speaker 1: they're trying to put this coronavirus on him. That kind
- 42:23Speaker 1: of crazy to me that that's the only thing I
- 42:26Speaker 1: don't agree with, just his attitude about it. Yeah, but
- 42:33Speaker 1: do you expect cavalier about it else, But do you
- 42:36Speaker 1: expect anything else? Up? Man, it'll be over what more conducive?
- 42:52Speaker 1: A conducive environment for germs, heat and right. And you
- 42:56Speaker 1: can't say it's because he's been ill advised. He doesn't
- 42:59Speaker 1: take advice. He yeah, he shoots from the hip. He
- 43:04Speaker 1: doesn't take advice. So you can't say it's because of
- 43:06Speaker 1: that Illo bluebirds mind. The other day to Elizabeth Warrenhorse,
- 43:09Speaker 1: she said, what we don't need to do is half
- 43:13Speaker 1: gives replaced one billionaire with another billionaire. He said, who's
- 43:18Speaker 1: the other billionaire? That was my favorite. He said, who's
- 43:22Speaker 1: who's the other who's the other billion All right? Coming
- 43:28Speaker 1: up next nephew in the building with today's prank phone call.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening show coming up at the
- 43:37Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after the hour,
- 43:42Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. My subject is single and satisfied or
- 43:45Speaker 1: married and miserable. Uh, pick one? Right right now. The
- 43:55Speaker 1: nephew is here with today's prank phone call. What do
- 43:58Speaker 1: you have for us? Nef it's right here. This is
- 44:01Speaker 1: called law and order and order cat dog. Here we go.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Good morning, law associates, office. Hey, how you doing? Um,
- 44:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to speak to the lawyer. Mister. He's not
- 44:16Speaker 1: in stir but I can help you. UM. I can

- 53:09Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live on the air,
- 53:12Speaker 1: just like I'm going to read this one here. Then
- 53:15Speaker 1: here that it's a lot a lot of pages. There
- 53:21Speaker 1: we got it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter,
- 53:25Speaker 1: subject single and satisfied or married and miserable. Do you
- 53:29Speaker 1: see the miserab There you go with that. I've been
- 53:35Speaker 1: married twice and I believe my second husband was the
- 53:38Speaker 1: man of my dreams, but I truly didn't see it
- 53:41Speaker 1: at the time. During my second marriage, I got bored
- 53:44Speaker 1: with the relationship. Even though he was a great man,
- 53:47Speaker 1: he had a tendency to be jealous, so I stopped
- 53:51Speaker 1: hanging out with my girlfriends. So I stopped hanging out
- 53:54Speaker 1: with my girlfriends to keep the peace at home. After
- 53:57Speaker 1: about three years of staying home, I decided to start
- 54:00Speaker 1: back meeting my girlfriends after work. Often my husband would
- 54:03Speaker 1: be angry when I got home, but I didn't care
- 54:07Speaker 1: because I had met a handsome and intriguing man and
- 54:10Speaker 1: I was having an affair. I got so caught up
- 54:13Speaker 1: with my new life that I decided it was best
- 54:16Speaker 1: to leave my husband. We've been separated for three years,
- 54:19Speaker 1: and the first year without him was amazing. I was
- 54:23Speaker 1: hanging out, traveling, going to the club, meeting new guys,
- 54:27Speaker 1: and having great sex. At first, my husband kept reaching
- 54:31Speaker 1: out to me, asking to fix our marriage, but I
- 54:34Speaker 1: wasn't interested then. Now that I will be forty five
- 54:37Speaker 1: years old, I've had a change of heart. I'm tired
- 54:40Speaker 1: of the clubs and seeing the same old people every
- 54:43Speaker 1: time I go out. I have been missing my home
- 54:45Speaker 1: life and my husband. My girls told me that the
- 54:48Speaker 1: grass is not always greener on the other side, but
- 54:51Speaker 1: they also said they'd rather be single and free than
- 54:55Speaker 1: be with a man just for companionship. I want to
- 54:58Speaker 1: move back into my house and be the life my
- 55:00Speaker 1: husband needs. But there's just one problem. He doesn't seem
- 55:04Speaker 1: to care about me coming home now. I can't read
- 55:08Speaker 1: his mind, but I'm sure that he still loves me.
- 55:12Speaker 1: How can I let him know that I made a
- 55:14Speaker 1: big mistake and that I still love him, or should
- 55:19Speaker 1: I just leave it alone and pray that another decent
- 55:21Speaker 1: man will want to marry me. I don't want to
- 55:23Speaker 1: grow old alone. Is there any advice you can offer me? Well,
- 55:27Speaker 1: first of all, if that's the only reason you want
- 55:29Speaker 1: your husband back, because you don't want to grow old alone,
- 55:33Speaker 1: or you know, because you think some other men might
- 55:36Speaker 1: you know, take his place if he doesn't take you back,
- 55:38Speaker 1: those are not the good reasons to get back in
- 55:40Speaker 1: a relationship and especially in marriage. Okay, and boy, weren't
- 55:44Speaker 1: your friends right on this one? The grass isn't always
- 55:47Speaker 1: greener on the other side, No, it isn't. It always
- 55:52Speaker 1: teaches you that lesson about you know, taking people for granted,
- 55:56Speaker 1: and when you leave them for selfish reasons, it never
- 56:00Speaker 1: turns out. Right, that's what you said. You got bored
- 56:05Speaker 1: with the relationship. You were having an affair, you were traveling,
- 56:08Speaker 1: you were having great sex, meeting great guys. Just selfish,
- 56:11Speaker 1: I mean, you were just selfish, selfish, selfish, and you
- 56:15Speaker 1: know you were well on your way and you could
- 56:17Speaker 1: still be doing that losing your husband if you haven't
- 56:20Speaker 1: lost him already because he stopped reaching out to you.
- 56:22Speaker 1: You said. It could be because he found someone else,
- 56:25Speaker 1: or it could be because he thinks that you don't
- 56:27Speaker 1: want him in your life anymore. But here's where your
- 56:31Speaker 1: girlfriends need to really mind their own business. They told
- 56:35Speaker 1: you that they'd rather be free and single than to
- 56:37Speaker 1: be with a man just for companionship. Please don't listen
- 56:41Speaker 1: to your girls. Okay, this, if you break it down,
- 56:44Speaker 1: this is just another way of saying misery loves company.
- 56:47Speaker 1: They're single and free and they don't want to be
- 56:50Speaker 1: with a man for companionship. They're putting that off on
- 56:53Speaker 1: you because that's how they are. Okay, that's not your now,
- 56:58Speaker 1: that is not your life. Do not listen to your girls.
- 57:01Speaker 1: If I were you, if you really want this man back,
- 57:04Speaker 1: you know, get on the phone, go see him, whatever
- 57:06Speaker 1: you have to do, apologize. See if there's any chance,
- 57:10Speaker 1: you say you think he still loves you and you
- 57:12Speaker 1: still love him, See if there's any chance of a
- 57:14Speaker 1: reconciliation with him. Some guys will take you back after
- 57:17Speaker 1: you've been whiling like you've been wiling. Some won't. You know,
- 57:20Speaker 1: there's a chance it's a risk you're gonna have to take.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Tell him you made a horrible mistake. He didn't deserve that.
- 57:26Speaker 1: You apologize, you've grown with its experience. Talk to him
- 57:30Speaker 1: like a grown woman. Don't mention anything about you getting
- 57:33Speaker 1: forty five and you don't want to grow old alone
- 57:36Speaker 1: and all of that. You know, talk to him, see
- 57:38Speaker 1: where his head is. Maybe maybe you know there's still
- 57:41Speaker 1: some love there that you guys, can you know, salvage
- 57:44Speaker 1: in this relationship? And then you know, maybe not, and
- 57:48Speaker 1: you'll have to chalk it up to the game because
- 57:50Speaker 1: you know you're reckless behavior and you're gonna have to
- 57:52Speaker 1: move on. Steve, you blew it, just need you truth.
- 57:57Speaker 1: This is a letter by somebody blew it. We all
- 57:59Speaker 1: could learned from this one right here. This your second
- 58:03Speaker 1: husband was a man of your dreams. Obviously you this
- 58:06Speaker 1: your second marriage. So so I ain't working right You're
- 58:09Speaker 1: looking at somebody that know, But I didn't see it
- 58:12Speaker 1: this time. Doing my second marriage, I got bored with
- 58:15Speaker 1: the relationship. That's because relationships after the honeymoon phase is
- 58:20Speaker 1: the relationship now. Doesn't mean it gets boring, but you
- 58:23Speaker 1: got to start working at it. And the work you
- 58:25Speaker 1: got to put in it's the same work that you
- 58:28Speaker 1: did to try to get the relationship it's the same
- 58:31Speaker 1: work you got to do now to re enact the
- 58:34Speaker 1: relationship and put the relationship back on course. But y'all
- 58:39Speaker 1: ain't doing that. And after about it, three years of
- 58:41Speaker 1: staying home, you know your husband was jealous and you
- 58:45Speaker 1: stopped hanging out with your girlfriends just keep the peace.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Three years of staying home, you decided to start back
- 58:51Speaker 1: meeting your girlfriends after work often. Well, you didn't really
- 58:55Speaker 1: start decide to see in your girlfriends. You wanted to
- 58:59Speaker 1: go back out as you was bored. Now you jumped
- 59:02Speaker 1: right from girlfriends for to your husband will be angry
- 59:05Speaker 1: when I got home, and you didn't care. And you
- 59:08Speaker 1: know why you didn't care, because you met a handsome,
- 59:10Speaker 1: intriguing man and you started having an affair. Got so
- 59:14Speaker 1: caught up in your new life. I decided it was
- 59:16Speaker 1: best to leave my husband. You decided it was best
- 59:19Speaker 1: for you to leave your home. This show's second match.
- 59:21Speaker 1: You ain't even telling us how the first one in it,
- 59:23Speaker 1: But something tells me you got bored in that one too.
- 59:27Speaker 1: We'll be back with the rest of this letter should
- 59:29Speaker 1: be called this is how I blew it all? Right, Listen,
- 59:34Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:37Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject of today's Strawberry
- 59:40Speaker 1: Letters single and satisfied or married and miserable. We'll get
- 59:44Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 59:50Speaker 1: Come on, Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject single and
- 59:53Speaker 1: satisfied or married and single? Well, see I mean harry
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: and satisfied and married and miserable. Really well, you fix
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: that problem. You met your second husband, got bored, had
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: a tendency to be jealous your husband, so you stopped
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: hanging out with your girlfriends, keeping peace. Three years of
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: staying at home, you decided to take back to meeting
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: your girlfriends after work. My husband be angry when you
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: got home, but I ain't care why because you didn't
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: care because you had met a handsome, intriguing man and
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I'm having an affair. Got so caught up in the
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: new life that you decided it was best to leave
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: my husband. This was your decision to leave my husband. Okay,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: you to left you out. We've been separated now for
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: three years. The first year without him was amazing. I
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: was hanging out, traveling, going to clubs, meeting new guys
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: having great sex. And at first your husband was reaching
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: out to you, you know, asking you to fix your marriage.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: But no, no, little mis fans and not interested. Now
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I will be forty five years old soon. Yeah, here
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: we go. I've had to change your heart. I'm tired
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: of the clubs and seeing the same old people every
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: time I go out. See now we get to the
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: old analogy that I gave. That's why me and that's
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: over forty. It's time for you to come on out
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the field. See I've told me and this right here,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: because all horses don't look good in the field. They
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: got that swaging their back, They got that little dipping
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: their back. An old horse. Then his stomach is almost
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: touching the grass. Well see that's now he out there
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: in the fielding them young stallions is running behind him,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: up on their hind legs, fighting him. They're back there.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: And this old horse just standing in the field, just
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: looking just crazy. That's because his ass don't be long
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: in the field. Now you're the forty five year old woman.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I don't care what you look like, fine or not.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Forty five year old woman in the club, single girl,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you're crazy. That ain't no life don't nobody really want
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: so now you hadn't had to change your heart. You
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: tied to the clubs, and you missing my home life
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: with my husband. My girls told me that the grass
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: is not always green on the other side. That's a
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: true statement. But they also said they'd rather be single
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: and freedom with a man just to be in a relationship.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: All these helpers is single. I want to move back
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: into my house and be the wife and my husband needs.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: But there's just one problem. He doesn't seem to care
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: about me coming home now. Uh, he doesn't seem to
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: care about me coming home now. Three years the man
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: begs you, come on, baby, let's make our marriage work.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Now I'm out here running them, I'm sleeping round with
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: me and I'm traveling. Then you find out, ain't none
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: of them want you? Oh? Because just like you see
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: the same people at the club, dude, see the same
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: chicks at the club. They haven't had you. Ain't none
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: of them want you. He doesn't seem to care about
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: me coming home. Now. You know why because you guess
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: what you while you was out in the field for
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: three years and your husband was begging you, guess what
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: your husband went on and did he got a new horse. Really, yeah,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: who liked coming home? Who won't a man that's kind
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: of jealous of her being out? He'll probably met a woman. Hey,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: what the hell I wanted a club fault? You got
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: a house? You go home at night? Wait a minute,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: you love me? Your husband got somebody, she says. Now,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I can't read his mind, but I'm sure that he
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: still loves me. If he still love for you, If
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: he still loved you, he'd still be calling you. He
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: might still love you, but he don't give a damn
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: if you come to the house right now. You come
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: over to the house right now. But it's gonna be
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: crowded though. Oh tell you right now. You can going
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: back to the house if you want to. But it's
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: somebody else up there in that bad room. Heel's pointed
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: towards the killing. It's a lot going on up in
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: that right now. How you tell your answer to the
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: house if you want to. But remember, you're the same one.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Ain't won't over there. You're the same one for three
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: years he begged you. You wasn't interested. How could I
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: let him know that I made a big mistake. You
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: ain't gotta let him know? He already know you made
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: a big mistake. Every woman listening to this letter know
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you made a big mistake because you had a good thing.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Wasn't nothing wrong. He just wants you going out with
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: your girlfriends. Now, he probably y'all could have made a
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: compromise or something, But then when you went back to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: going out with your girlfriends, you wouldn't got you a dude.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Having a family all counts. All actions have consequences, and
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: now your action is dealing with the consequences. How should
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: I let him know I still love him? Or should
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I just leave it alone and pray that another decent
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: man will want me to marry him. Well, hold up, now,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: in order to get a decent man, you're gonna have
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: to be decent. Decent, that's right, and you have it.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: You didn't treat him decent in that marriage, and I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: probably didn't treat the first one decent. So until you
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: become a decent person, you can't really expect to get
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: a decent man. You attract what you are, So until
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: you become a decent person, you're not gonna get a
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: decent man. That's all. It is, all right, Steve, thank
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: you will you will not hold and alone. You will
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: not post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming up at forty six
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Oprah Winfrey took a fall on stage,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: but guess what she kept owing? That's right, she got
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: up and kept going. We'll talk about, uh, some of
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: our embarrassing falls right after this. You're listening on this
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: past Saturday, Oprah Wow. Oprah took a fall on stage
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: while talking about balance, uh, speaking at the Forum in
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Los Angeles as part of her you know how she
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: does her tours. This is her twenty twenty Vision tour
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: with weight Watchers. Take a listen. When Oprah was talking
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: about the definition of wellness. So here's my definition of
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: what wellness. Being sweet is My definition, not yours, just
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: an idea because you're going to be defining it for yourself.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Wellness to me means all things in balance, and balance
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: doesn't mean all things are equal or at peace at
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: all time. Shoose. I like how she got back up, though,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: right back up. You know, I just want to make
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: it real. Fear that. That was Junior, who laughed when
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: she said that was not Tommy, that was not Tommy,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: that was Junior, who laughs, Yeah, that was me. Just
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: rest wanted a difference between Junior and Tommy. Tommy show on,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: You and Tommy, And I don't want nothing to happen
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: to Timmy show on. And I don't know it funny,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: but I did. I would say to Steve Oprah is
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: paying too many damn people, but nobody to run the
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: ass out there on that damn stage and help her
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: up real damn well, if somebody, somebody should have been there,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: that's right, That is right. Tommy, why you leave San Francisco?
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: You still on stage? You didn't hear it was? It
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: was INCI media Tommy. She really o Jake, It's just
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: a lot of just bat back up. Ye usually got
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: a bill and let me tell you something. Oh don't
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: give a damn about the little small ass people on
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: line talking about. And she works out, she staying shape,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: no opening, good shape, open up. I'm with you because
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I'm with a lawsuit. I'm not getting that. I'm wherever
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: we ja ja Jacob, that's your best shot at a
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: billion dollars. You just fall in and that and roll
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: off the front of the stay question question. Yes, for
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: one billion dollars, would you chop off all the fingers
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: on one of your hands? Yes? What I wouldn't see
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: a billion dollars and we gotta go. I ain't my
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: money for me? Hell yeah. Coming up at the top
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: of the our new name, Palm Pilot. Embarrassing falls. We'll
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening. Oprah took
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: a tumble and fell on stage in Los Angeles. We
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: were talking about this. It happened last Saturday during her
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: twenty twenty Vision tour with Weight Watchers. She was talking
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: about balance. She slipped and fell. I loved it because
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: she got right back up and kept talking. She said
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: wrong shoes and kept him moving rich. Yeah, So the
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: question we were going to ask us, have you guys
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: ever had an embarrassing fall on stage or whatever? But
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I think Jay had something about marriage. Was it for
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: a billion dollars? Which you marry the one you absolutely
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: hate it for a billion dollars rich? I'm gonna be
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: rich and miserable and I don't need that for a
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: b I'm being there fighting. Yeah, I mean yeah, if
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: you if you were if you guys were single, would
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: you marry someone for a billion dollars, I absolutely could not,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: absolutely absolutely and have a fast the whole time I
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: married sherl up will be for a b Oh, she'll
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: be happy to hear that. You better believe we're gonna
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: tell her as soon as she gets back. But I'm
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: gonna leave out the billion though, Junior, Now what he did? Bellon? No, No,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: So Steve, if you were single, could you do it?
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Marry someone you could not stand for a billion dollars.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: I've already been married somebody who couldn't stand me. No,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I don't give it them what you give me. I'm
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: not doing that no more. As a matter of fact, Yeah,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I'll do that. You would, you would get married to
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: somebody you couldn't stand for a billion dollars? For a
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: billion dollars billion with a B, yeah, I would you would, Yes,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I would, yes, yes. But you know what it is though,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: See Shirley, you might could get away with that, but
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: a man can't not tell you why, because there's a
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: scripture that says it is better for a man to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: live on the corner of a rooftop than inside the
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: house with a quarrelsome woman quarrelsome woman that's right. Is
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: the body beyond that rooftop would have been where I
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: get as right on the lodder billion dollars somebody for
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: a billion dollarge that you did not like? Uh huh
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I would really y e s yes, yeah, J would
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: you do with J? Well, I've man somebody for less
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: that I didn't like. So you me, Jack, I don't
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: believe you taught me you wouldn't do it. I'm not
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: getting married, No, no, I'm rather a billion dollars no, no, wow,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: every day that this is every day. Man. Let me
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: tell you something chilling, getting married to a person that
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: you can't stand. Oh my god, oh no, that's no way.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I'm coming in that house every day. There's no money.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Don't make it mone easier if you got a billion dollars,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: don't make it easier. As much as you talk about money. See,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I can't. I'm shocked at your but I would rather
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: be happy than be rich. I should look at it
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: like this. But now let me tell you something. To
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: be happy and to be rich, thank you Jesus. But
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I'll tell you what if I could be richer, a billionaire,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: but I would have to be with somebody I couldn't stand.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: You couldn't stand that to be trust and upset. Now well, hey,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: listen what you say. I'm single and upset. Now try
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: with a be you up make it worse. You ain't
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: live with nobody. Listen to me, Listen to me. It's
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: days when you and your wife are having a disagreement
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: where man, you want to just put your arms, phone
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: your arms like I dream of Jeanie, blink and dis appeal.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: So you want to be somewhere else do It's like,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: what the hell am I doing in hell with you
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: right now? In no way, I'm not a right. We
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: don't continue. This will become that it happened. You're listening,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: show all right to the no no, go back to
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: the would you marry someone you can't stand for a
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: billion dollars? I said yes. All the guys except for Junior. Well,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Jay said yeah, he would do it because he's married.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: He's married for less. So Steve and Tommy says no,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: they couldn't do it. I could do it in a heartbeat.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I'm not doing this. Nobody else again ever, I'm not
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: doing this. Wait mid tea, so I'm happening. It ain't
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: gonna I'm I'm done with the marriage. Yeah, yeah, I'm
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: kind of I'm not the person. Just wonderful you, Tommy.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: It sounds like that, Tommy. I'm trying. I'm kind of
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: with Tommy on this one. If something were to happen
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: with me and my girl, which I hope that god
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: never happened, I probably won't do this. And and and
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: and I love the institute, I don't. I love having somebody.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: But no blinking though, man, blink yourself away from here
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: to see junior. Junior, you've never been married before. You
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: don't know what this is. Man, But you can't go
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: into a house every day with a woman that you
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: can't stand and she can't stand you. There ain't not
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: there ain't ain't no money for that. You think you
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: want a billion dollars? All right, we're gonna go. Yeah,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I'm Marvelou Steve Harvey Morning showing some turning news coming
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour, right after this.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, guys, Stevie said he
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: had a question for us. I have Shirley and Jay.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: This is for you, Yes, for Shirley and for Jay.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: All right, Oh, Shirley, you're single. Now, I'm just imagine
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: yourself single where you are currently in life. For single Jay,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: you single, Jerry and Shirley, you have to get married
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: to one another and you get if you married and
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: stay married and stay together for ten years and at
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: that soul mates. Fuck you. I'm trying to hear the
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: ten years of a long time. I don't know where
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: he going with this, but whe they had ten is
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: a long time. Fifty million, he asked cash, fifty millions. Stop,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Jay and I have been knowing each other for it,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: not as long as you were in Steve. Before you
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: get all the way into this, damn it, just stop
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: to stop. Ten years is a long time, Steve, that's
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: a one year. Listen to me. Stop it. Yeah, it's
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: too much time, too much time. Okay, let me let me.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Did I just say this before? If we were off
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: the end, I would cush you so bad and Jay,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: nothing personal. You know how I feel about you. I
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: love you. Nothing personal. Oh my gosh, just stop. Why
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: are you going with this? Yeah? Okay, well I was
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: gonna say this. I don't know if we have time.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: But here's another question. Is your beard putting you at
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: risk for the coronavirus. According to the New York Posts.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: The CDC said the facial hair can interfere when trying
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: to use a respirator face mask properly, so, in other words,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: the more hair across your mouth, the tougher it will
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: be where the master sit on your face, meaning mustaches
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: and beards. I think you talked about this at the
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: beginning of the show, Steve, whatnt me dot froggy? A
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: hundred million and as and as crazy as I'm gonna look,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: this will be on the floor. I put that money
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: in my break. You can pluck the hairs out out,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: all right, Steve, We get out of here, don't you
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: can pluck it? Time for our last break of the day,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: coming last break of the day, all right, and some
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after right after this, you're listening, all right?
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: this Monday break of the day, just the last one.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: So Jay about your UM? I just wanted to ask
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you before we get to the closing remarks, UM the
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: shout out your crew you working on mister Tyler Perry's show.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Assistant Living please show. We did seven thousand shows. Sister
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Living will be on and I think it's coming on
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: in July after um Meek Browns, Browns, oh god, oh Pain,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Pain comes on after half Pain. They have new episodes
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: and our show. I'm the Only think David Man, Tamlin Man, Naheim, Lyon,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Courtney Nichols, Tyler Bucks, and Alex Henderson Man. We had
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: a great time. It was a lot. Yes, I'm right,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: that's right, that's rights. Oh yeah, I know what Steve said.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I'm not listening to him. I call him ill Perry.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: You can't. Yeah, yeah, all that's good, great guy. I
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: want I want to cover something tonight in my clothes remarks, Um,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: today this morning, Yeah yeah, yeah, this morning. I want
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: to cover something this morning in my closing remarks. Um,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: I'm always talking to everybody, but if you always just
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: excuse me for a moment. I just want to have
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: a moment with black people. Um. And I'm not trying
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: to be funny in any way, but I just want
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: to talk right now directly and point this message directly
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: at black people. Do I love black people with all
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: my heart and soul? Have I spent my life trying
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: to be something that the culture could be proud of
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: when they watched me on TV or watched me moved
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: throughout life. I've tried. Have I made my share of
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: mistakes out loud and in front of everybody, Yes, i have,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: But I've always tried to rectify my mistakes. I've always
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: tried to get it right. I've always accepted the fact
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: that I'm a role model to some people. You may
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: not like having to be a role model, but anytime
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: there's a younger person that's immolating your path or taking
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: advice from you, that put you in the role model category.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: So it has been my honor and my privilege to
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: serve my community for all of these years. I want
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: to say something to us, and it's about voting. I
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: have watched over the years, but I've never seen it
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: more on display as I have now. And I'm talking
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: about your vote. Everybody cherishes black vote. Everybody wants to
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: know what candidate the black population will get behind. Everybody
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: wants to know how to acquire the all important black vote.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: The African American population is a huge decision maker in
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: all national votes, in almost every local vote, every major
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: city vote. Our vote is of value even Donald Trump
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: has a value on the black vote, to the tune
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: that they've come up with a new campaign this year
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: called Woke. Joe Biden needed the Black vote to save
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: his run for the presidency. If it was not for
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: a Senator Claybourne and his endorsement and turning out in
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: such a huge showing on Saturday, Joe biden campaign for
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: the presidency would be in trouble because of a primary
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: turnout in South Carolina. Bernie Sanders is trying to find
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: a way to cultivate and secure the black vote. Bloomberg
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: has spent four hundred million dollars I think four or
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: five hundred million dollars on his campaign ad and eighty
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: percent of those ads have Black people in it. He's
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: even come up with a plan, a financial plan to
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: secure a plan for black people in hopes of getting
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: their vote. Everybody knows the importance of the black vote.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: I am asking us, as Black people who have had
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: to pay a higher price than most to vote in
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: this country, if we would please take as seriously our
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: vote as everybody else does. Do you understand that we're very,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: very powerful people here and we have got to stop
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: relinquishing our power now? This is for me. It's not
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: about who you vote for. It's just about do you vote.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: You know. Look, I saw all the round table that
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Donald Trump had with all of the African Americans that
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: came up there, and that gentleman made the remark that
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: because it's Black History Month, Donald Trump, you are our
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: first black president. That that was an ignorant thing to say.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: I've never seen that. That's such an example of appeasing
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: and patronizing just because you're sitting at the table. But
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: that ain't what this is about. You can if you're
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: gonna take your vote and you vote for Donald Trump,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: that's your business. But I'm asking you to take your
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: vote and vote for somebody. We got to vote. Man,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: We're a powerful block. Everybody knows it. Biden knows it,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders knows it, Elizabeth Warren knows it, Bloomberg knows it,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Donald Trump knows it. We have got to understand that
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: we are a powerful vote. Now, we're not the most
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: powerful people in the world. No, and I'm not saying
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: that this doesn't make us better than any other group. No,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: that's not what I'm saying. But we've got to honor
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: our vote the same way they do. Period. We got
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: to vote, man, And if you're sick and tired of
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: being sick and tired, it's time to do something about it.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Because everybody else knows you can do something about it.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: It's just seems to be so hard for us to
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: convince ourselves that we can do something about it. But
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I'm telling you we can. Those are my clothing the
