- 0:00Speaker 1: Center. Nice to be with you. As always. We've got
- 0:02Speaker 1: a lot of stuff that's really serious to talk about
- 0:05Speaker 1: this week, and I want to start by just the semantics.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And it's really been embarrassing, not just in the US,
- 0:13Speaker 1: but I think around the world. You have the president
- 0:16Speaker 1: that tries to act like this trip to Ukraine to
- 0:19Speaker 1: meet with Zelenski was a surprise trip. It clearly was
- 0:23Speaker 1: not a surprise trip. Many of the media were tipped
- 0:25Speaker 1: off and been there for more than a week waiting
- 0:27Speaker 1: on him to get there, from what we understand, and
- 0:30Speaker 1: then we saw air aid sirens go off at the
- 0:33Speaker 1: exact moment that he and Zelenski are walking out for
- 0:36Speaker 1: the cameras outside. Neither of them are alarmed by it.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Secret Service didn't look around. None of the security detail
- 0:44Speaker 1: for Zelenski looked around. In fact, even CNN's ripping on
- 0:47Speaker 1: the present. Here's a look at the video first, and
- 0:49Speaker 1: then we'll show you Snend's response, no one really seemed
- 1:07Speaker 1: that concerned. Well, look, the thing to understand about the
- 1:11Speaker 1: Biden White House is it's all calms, all the time.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Everything they do is about pr National security isn't a priority.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Defending this nation isn't a priority. Standing with our allies
- 1:24Speaker 1: as in a priority. Defeating our enemies asn't a priority.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Securing our border isn't a priority, Defending people from violent
- 1:31Speaker 1: criminals isn't a priority. The only thing they care about
- 1:36Speaker 1: is communications. They approach everything. Imagine you take a Hollywood
- 1:43Speaker 1: producer and put them in charge of the White House.
- 1:46Speaker 1: You get the Biden White House, and so you have
- 1:49Speaker 1: things like you look at the January sixth committee. Yeah
- 1:53Speaker 1: time that the Nancy Pelosi kangaroo court show committee. They
- 1:58Speaker 1: literally brought in Hollywood producer to put it on. It
- 2:01Speaker 1: was meant to be a partisan infomercial to influence the
- 2:05Speaker 1: last election. You look at the Biden ridiculous trip to
- 2:09Speaker 1: the border. A. He delayed two years before going to
- 2:12Speaker 1: the southern border. B. He goes to El Paso, not
- 2:15Speaker 1: to not to the Rio Grand Valley, not eight hundred miles.
- 2:22Speaker 1: El Paso is as far from McCallan as Chicago is
- 2:26Speaker 1: from Washington, DC. That's how far away he went. But
- 2:29Speaker 1: when he went, prior to that, there had been illegal
- 2:33Speaker 1: immigrants camped out homeless on the streets. They cleaned them
- 2:37Speaker 1: all up. Suddenly it was sparkling in pristine and he
- 2:40Speaker 1: went the entire trip without seeing a single illegal immigrant.
- 2:44Speaker 1: It was entirely a made for TV event. Well that's
- 2:47Speaker 1: what this was. And so when he walks in, what
- 2:51Speaker 1: makes for good TV. Let's sound the air raid sirens.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But you're right, it's it is ridiculous farce because if
- 2:59Speaker 1: there act was a real air rate sirens, that wouldn't
- 3:03Speaker 1: be a reaction. They would be running. Yeah, and if
- 3:05Speaker 1: he wasn't running, the Secret Service would have run and
- 3:08Speaker 1: grabbed him and put him in a child. They would
- 3:10Speaker 1: have picked him up off the ground, like if there
- 3:13Speaker 1: is an air rate siren coming in and a missile
- 3:15Speaker 1: is about to land on their head, you think they'd
- 3:17Speaker 1: just be strolling along, no big deal. One hundred percent theater,
- 3:22Speaker 1: one hundred percent for show. And amazingly enough, the media
- 3:26Speaker 1: called him out for it. You and I aren't the
- 3:28Speaker 1: only people who noticed. Even the professional propagandist at CNN
- 3:33Speaker 1: called him out for it. Yeah, look at this, it's amazing.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Here's CNN again showing this to the world saying this
- 3:39Speaker 1: is basically total crap. I've been here for the past
- 3:42Speaker 1: five days. I have not heard any explosions, I have
- 3:45Speaker 1: not heard any air sirens until about half an hour ago,
- 3:49Speaker 1: right when President Biden was in the center of Kiev,
- 3:53Speaker 1: as Clarissa was just mentioning, So at the same time
- 3:56Speaker 1: that life has gotten back to normal relatively speaking here
- 3:59Speaker 1: in the Hapital, of course, it is far from that
- 4:02Speaker 1: elsewhere in the country. Before I get your response to that,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I just want to think about the producers at CNN
- 4:10Speaker 1: that allowed that to actually even go out over the air.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I worked there for seven years. This was I think
- 4:16Speaker 1: just an insult to their intelligence and they were mad,
- 4:19Speaker 1: how dare you think that we're going to carry water
- 4:21Speaker 1: on this stage of this ridiculous nature when this hasn't
- 4:25Speaker 1: been happening. This is not normal for CNN, But I
- 4:27Speaker 1: think it actually just insulted them as journalists. You think
- 4:30Speaker 1: we're just gonna look at this and act like it
- 4:32Speaker 1: was normal. So I'm not sure they're capable of being insulted,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but for whatever reason that they decided not to be
- 4:40Speaker 1: propagandists on this topic today. And I gotta say for
- 4:44Speaker 1: the Biden White House and for Democrats generally, that's a
- 4:47Speaker 1: warning sign when they've lost CNN, they're in trouble. It
- 4:50Speaker 1: wasn't just CNN. Reuters, Yeah, Reuters, look at their tweet.
- 4:54Speaker 1: They put it up there as another who just said, hey,
- 4:57Speaker 1: air raid sirens blast across the Ukrainian capital as Biden
- 5:00Speaker 1: visits Kiev. Although there were no reports of Russian missile
- 5:05Speaker 1: or air strikes. It was entirely theater. The video should
- 5:11Speaker 1: have ended with I'm Joe Biden, and I approved this
- 5:13Speaker 1: message because it was a TV ad. It was meant
- 5:16Speaker 1: to be a TV ad. And you know, you think
- 5:18Speaker 1: back to just how much George W. Bush, who you
- 5:23Speaker 1: and I both worked for, regretted mission accomplished. So it
- 5:28Speaker 1: was one of the biggest mistakes of an entire presidency.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And that for people that may not remember, he landed
- 5:34Speaker 1: on an aircraft carrier. He got out of that plane,
- 5:38Speaker 1: he was in the flight gear. There was a big
- 5:40Speaker 1: banner over that aircraft here that's had mission accomplished. And
- 5:44Speaker 1: it was a great moment, pr moment, but it was
- 5:47Speaker 1: the wrong thing when we saw how long that war
- 5:50Speaker 1: you know, went on. By the way, I will tell
- 5:52Speaker 1: you as an asside to that, Clay Johnson, who was
- 5:54Speaker 1: the head of personnel in the White House, had been
- 5:57Speaker 1: Bush's I guess it was high school roommate. And apparently
- 6:02Speaker 1: after you know, Bush gets out he's in that flight suit.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Apparently Clay went up to forty three in the oval
- 6:08Speaker 1: and said, mister President, I have to ask you, were
- 6:10Speaker 1: you actually wearing a codpiece? That's not a question many
- 6:15Speaker 1: people get to ask president of the United States. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: if you happen to be uh find your high school
- 6:22Speaker 1: roommate is president and he wears a codpiece, well, then
- 6:25Speaker 1: you get to ask that question. To ask that question,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I want. I don't know if Biden was wearing a
- 6:29Speaker 1: codpiece there, yeah, but but I will say he was
- 6:33Speaker 1: that moment those words mission accomplished haunted the rest of
- 6:38Speaker 1: the Bush presidency. And I do wonder if if this
- 6:42Speaker 1: march with the air raid, this this theater, theater, if
- 6:46Speaker 1: this will come back and haunt them. The fact that
- 6:49Speaker 1: they've already lost CNN and Reuters on it now that
- 6:53Speaker 1: does not acgur Well, I want to ask you about
- 6:56Speaker 1: Zealinsky in this, and this is one of the concerns
- 6:58Speaker 1: about money. But before we get to that, I want
- 7:00Speaker 1: to tell you about our friends over in August of
- 7:01Speaker 1: precious metals. You know what's been happening with the markets,
- 7:04Speaker 1: you know how crazy things have been, and if you
- 7:06Speaker 1: are close to retirement, You probably have one goal, and
- 7:09Speaker 1: that is to protect and preserve the money that you
- 7:12Speaker 1: saved for retirement. With august Of Precious Metals, they can
- 7:16Speaker 1: help you do that by using gold and silver through
- 7:18Speaker 1: an IRA or a four one K. If you've saved
- 7:21Speaker 1: more than one hundred thousand dollars, you should check them
- 7:25Speaker 1: out and talk to them now. They do two things
- 7:27Speaker 1: that is really really cool. Number one, they're going to
- 7:29Speaker 1: send you an investor guide for free. But the other
- 7:31Speaker 1: thing is they're going to do a web conference with
- 7:34Speaker 1: you to talk about you personally where you are with
- 7:37Speaker 1: your retirement goals, and then explained to you if gold
- 7:40Speaker 1: and silver may be right or wrong for you. I
- 7:44Speaker 1: use them and I actually did the web conference and
- 7:47Speaker 1: it was phenomenal because everybody's financial situation for retirement is
- 7:51Speaker 1: a little bit different. So check them out. Go online
- 7:54Speaker 1: right now to august of Precious Metals dot com. That's
- 7:58Speaker 1: Augusta USUS Medals dot com. You can also call them
- 8:03Speaker 1: eight seven seven four Gold IRA. That's eight seven seven
- 8:08Speaker 1: number four Gold IRA. Tell them I sent you, and
- 8:11Speaker 1: they'll even pay your fees for up to ten years.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Augusta Precious Metals dot Com. There have been a lot
- 8:16Speaker 1: of questions about Zelenski and how much it seems that
- 8:20Speaker 1: he understands he's acting for the cameras. Early on this war,
- 8:24Speaker 1: he was, you know, doing photos shoots and having makeup
- 8:27Speaker 1: artists come in. He also, if you remember, it's a
- 8:30Speaker 1: very different guy than came to meet with Donald Trump.
- 8:34Speaker 1: He wore a suit. Then now he's always in these
- 8:36Speaker 1: military ask fatigues. There, sirens go off, he doesn't even
- 8:40Speaker 1: look up for a moment, doesn't even look at his
- 8:43Speaker 1: bodymen around him, like hey, is this real? Clearly again
- 8:45Speaker 1: another actor basically in in this play. Does it worry
- 8:50Speaker 1: you how much money we're sending him knowing that this
- 8:53Speaker 1: is what's happening in his country? Well it does. And
- 8:56Speaker 1: and listen, you're right, Zelenski is engaged in the as well.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And look, Zelenski, before he was president, he was an actor.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I mean he you're not joke. He was a professional
- 9:08Speaker 1: actor in a popular sitcom in Ukraine. And and now
- 9:14Speaker 1: he's president. He understands acting. And so you know, it's
- 9:16Speaker 1: a little jarring seeing all of these images of him
- 9:19Speaker 1: in a sweatshirt and fatigues next to Biden in his
- 9:23Speaker 1: pressed suit, whether in the Oval office or in Ukraine.
- 9:28Speaker 1: You know, Zelenski is always in this outfit and it
- 9:31Speaker 1: is a costume, and he understands what he's doing. It
- 9:35Speaker 1: is performance. I will say, when Zelenski came and addressed
- 9:38Speaker 1: the Joint Session of Congress, there was one fellow on
- 9:41Speaker 1: Twitter who put out something very amusing said, Look, it's
- 9:45Speaker 1: not fair to blame Zelenski that he didn't wear a
- 9:47Speaker 1: suit to address Congress. After all, an official in the
- 9:51Speaker 1: Biden administration stole his luggage. That's true. Yeah, you have
- 9:56Speaker 1: men wearing dresses, get you know that. But that remains
- 9:59Speaker 1: one of the most bizarre stories I've ever seen, to
- 10:01Speaker 1: have this cross dressing, non binary Biden appointee who's a
- 10:08Speaker 1: serial thief of luggage. But be that as it may,
- 10:12Speaker 1: it actually proved too much even for the Biden administration,
- 10:15Speaker 1: amazingly enough, once he was criminally charged with theft. But
- 10:19Speaker 1: getting back to Zelenski, he's engaged in theater. There's a
- 10:23Speaker 1: reason that Zelenski you see him at the Oscars, There's
- 10:28Speaker 1: a reason you see him on the cover of magazines.
- 10:31Speaker 1: He is deliberately engaged in theater. The fact that neither
- 10:37Speaker 1: Biden nor Zelenski flinch look around do anything when the
- 10:40Speaker 1: air raids sirens go off. Means both of them knew
- 10:42Speaker 1: about it, because there's no chance you're walking through and
- 10:45Speaker 1: suddenly air rain sirens go off, you react, and you
- 10:50Speaker 1: react quickly. I mean, I'll tell you I've spent a
- 10:52Speaker 1: fair amount of time in Israel. I haven't actually been
- 10:55Speaker 1: there when air raids sirens go off, but I've talked
- 10:57Speaker 1: to people who live on a kibbutz, for example, and
- 11:00Speaker 1: they describe how when the sirens go off, it can
- 11:03Speaker 1: mean you have anywhere from fifteen to forty five seconds
- 11:07Speaker 1: before impact a missile explodes, and so you sprint to
- 11:12Speaker 1: the closest shelter you can get. And it's the difference
- 11:14Speaker 1: between life and death. So no one who is familiar
- 11:18Speaker 1: with a war zone just ignores an air raid siren.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Zelinski's engaged in theater, so is Biden, and that it
- 11:29Speaker 1: underscores the objective of the trip, which is pr not
- 11:33Speaker 1: actual substantive national security objectives. There was another aspect of
- 11:40Speaker 1: this before we get into Russia and what's going on
- 11:42Speaker 1: with the Russia, that actually relates the story back to
- 11:44Speaker 1: the US. We've had some issues here. Training derailments have
- 11:48Speaker 1: come up. A lot of people, especially looking at what
- 11:51Speaker 1: happened in Ohio, are very concerned now about air quality,
- 11:55Speaker 1: about water quality there. We've seen a lot of the
- 11:58Speaker 1: viral videos of people, including members of Congress, who are
- 12:01Speaker 1: throwing rocks and stirring the water basin in these streams,
- 12:04Speaker 1: and you're seeing chemicals come up to the service saying, look,
- 12:07Speaker 1: it's all gone to the bottom here. Don't tell us
- 12:09Speaker 1: everything's fine. And Mayor Pete's like gone, we're not seeing him.
- 12:15Speaker 1: There's also people that are angry at the President for
- 12:17Speaker 1: going overseas instead of visiting there the American Bill first,
- 12:21Speaker 1: including the mayor of the local town where this happened.
- 12:24Speaker 1: He let him have it on TV. I understand why.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I take a look at this. Absolutely, that was the
- 12:29Speaker 1: biggest slap in the face that tells you right now
- 12:31Speaker 1: he doesn't care about us, so he can send every
- 12:34Speaker 1: agency he wants to. But I found that out this
- 12:37Speaker 1: morning and one of the briefings that he was in
- 12:39Speaker 1: the Ukraine, given millions of dollars a way to people
- 12:42Speaker 1: over there and not to us. And I'm furious on
- 12:45Speaker 1: President's Day our country, yeah, President's Day in our country,
- 12:47Speaker 1: he's over Ukraine. Did they have a valid point. Of
- 12:51Speaker 1: course they do. Look, it is ridiculous that Joe Biden
- 12:55Speaker 1: has not been East Palestine yet. You literally have an
- 12:59Speaker 1: American city with a major derailment that was on fire,
- 13:03Speaker 1: where the water is being poisoned, where the air is
- 13:05Speaker 1: being poisoned, where it's ongoing for multiple days, and this
- 13:09Speaker 1: administration does not give a damn. Why because that part
- 13:14Speaker 1: of the state voted seventy percent for Donald Trump, and
- 13:17Speaker 1: it's clear their attitude. Look, it's all politics all the time,
- 13:20Speaker 1: it's all communications in pr all the time, and so
- 13:23Speaker 1: going there is a bad message and it really is striking.
- 13:26Speaker 1: So Donald Trump publicly said he was going to go
- 13:28Speaker 1: to East Palestine, and promptly the Biden administration said, oh,
- 13:32Speaker 1: we'll go to now. Yeah, but timing's right. Mayor Pete
- 13:35Speaker 1: now says he's gonna go. I don't even know what
- 13:37Speaker 1: that means. So the timing's right. The timing was right
- 13:39Speaker 1: the day or two or three after this happened. Well,
- 13:41Speaker 1: and let me ask you a question, what in the
- 13:44Speaker 1: hell does Pete Buddha Jedge have to do to get fired?
- 13:47Speaker 1: Like in the history of this country, has there ever
- 13:50Speaker 1: been a transportation secretary who has screwed more things up
- 13:55Speaker 1: from in his first year in office, a supply chain
- 13:58Speaker 1: crisis that impacted the entire country, that made it hard
- 14:01Speaker 1: to get basics and essentials. And in the middle of
- 14:04Speaker 1: supply Champion formula was on that list. Yeah, diapers was
- 14:07Speaker 1: on that list. We're talking about a necesses of people.
- 14:09Speaker 1: And in the middle of that supply chain crisis, Pete
- 14:12Speaker 1: Buddha Jedge is on a extended paternity leave, so he's
- 14:16Speaker 1: literally not even showing up to work. Most Americans have
- 14:20Speaker 1: never even heard of supply chain crisis until the thing
- 14:23Speaker 1: happened on Buddha Jedge's watch. That's how he started. Then
- 14:27Speaker 1: you went on to almost have a major rail strike
- 14:30Speaker 1: last year because he failed to step in and solve
- 14:33Speaker 1: the problem at the outset. Then we had just recently
- 14:37Speaker 1: the FAA screwed up with their no TAM system, grounded
- 14:41Speaker 1: every flight in America, the first time that has happened
- 14:45Speaker 1: since September eleventh because the fa screwed up. By the way,
- 14:49Speaker 1: we had a hearing on that last week in the
- 14:51Speaker 1: Senate in the Commerce Committee where I'm the ranking member.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Pete Buddhajedge didn't show up. He sent the acting Administrator
- 14:58Speaker 1: of the FAA because there's no response ability from the Secretary.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And now with East Palestine, how did Pete Buddha Jedge
- 15:05Speaker 1: not get on the first plane after this this crisis
- 15:09Speaker 1: happened to be there on the ground at this point.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Wellhen the railway CEOs also don't seem to be worried
- 15:16Speaker 1: about him coming down on them because they just showed up. Finally,
- 15:21Speaker 1: the CEO just now showed up, which means they're not
- 15:24Speaker 1: afraid that the bidendministration is going to come down heavy
- 15:26Speaker 1: on them. What Buddha Jedge does all day long is
- 15:30Speaker 1: the same thing Biden does all day long. He does politics.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So buddhajg talks about gun control because you know, gun
- 15:37Speaker 1: control is central to the statutory man data the Department
- 15:40Speaker 1: of Transportation. It has nothing to do with it. But
- 15:44Speaker 1: you know, he talks about how freeways and roads are racist.
- 15:48Speaker 1: What the hell are you talking about a racist road?
- 15:50Speaker 1: The last I checked, asphalt on the ground that you
- 15:53Speaker 1: drive your car in is not racist. It's not racist.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It's a piece of rock. It's almost as if picking
- 16:01Speaker 1: out a small town mayor with no experience is not
- 16:07Speaker 1: a good idea to run a major cabinet agency like
- 16:11Speaker 1: the Department of Transportation. But Buddha Jedge, it seems, cannot
- 16:15Speaker 1: find the time to do his actual job. He's too
- 16:18Speaker 1: busy thing about running for office. And it's the same
- 16:20Speaker 1: situation that they actually parallel. The way Buddha Jedge approaches
- 16:26Speaker 1: DOT is how Biden approaches the White House, which is
- 16:30Speaker 1: every day it's a press release, it's a photo op.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It's not actually substantively addressing the problems and solving the problems.
- 16:41Speaker 1: You know. When it comes to Ukraine, listen, we have
- 16:44Speaker 1: a national security interest in Russia losing. We want Putin
- 16:47Speaker 1: to be defeated. But we don't have an interest in
- 16:50Speaker 1: just writing blank checks to Zelenski funding corruption in the
- 16:56Speaker 1: Ukrainian government. We don't have an interest in funding all
- 16:59Speaker 1: the million bureaucracy. We don't have an interest in funding
- 17:02Speaker 1: the welfare system. We do have a national security interest
- 17:05Speaker 1: in providing weapons to be used to kill Russians by
- 17:09Speaker 1: Ukrainian soldiers. Ironically, the Biden White House Number one caused
- 17:15Speaker 1: the war. We've talked about that a lot in this podcast.
- 17:18Speaker 1: By waving sanctions on Russia for nordstring to waving sanctions
- 17:22Speaker 1: on putin for Nordstring to Biden personally through his own
- 17:26Speaker 1: political stupidity, caused this war. But number two, once the
- 17:30Speaker 1: war happened, Biden's slow walked military assistance all throughout. You'll
- 17:35Speaker 1: recall early on when the war started, the first reaction
- 17:38Speaker 1: of the Biden administration was offering Zelenski, hey, we'll fly
- 17:42Speaker 1: you out of the country, to abandon the country. And
- 17:45Speaker 1: Zelenski said, I don't need a ride, I need ammunition. Yeah,
- 17:48Speaker 1: And the Biden White House had no interest initially in
- 17:51Speaker 1: providing military aid. I'll tell you when that was happening,
- 17:56Speaker 1: the Biden administration was giving classified briefings to the entire
- 18:00Speaker 1: Senate saying this war will be over in less than
- 18:03Speaker 1: a week. Russia will sweep into Ukraine, the tanks will
- 18:06Speaker 1: overrun the entire country. It'll be over in a week.
- 18:09Speaker 1: The Ukrainians have no hope, no prayer whatsoever. Get involved
- 18:13Speaker 1: because it's going to be done anyway. Their view was surrender.
- 18:17Speaker 1: That was their advice, as Zelenski, hey, we'll fly out.
- 18:19Speaker 1: When you fly a leader out, how often does that
- 18:21Speaker 1: leader come back into power within the next three, four
- 18:23Speaker 1: or five, six weeks or years? Right, usually doesn't happen.
- 18:26Speaker 1: So the Biden administration is not focused and for a
- 18:29Speaker 1: year has not been focused on how do we actually
- 18:33Speaker 1: win the war? How do we enable Ukraine to win
- 18:35Speaker 1: the war. We talked about in the last podcast how
- 18:37Speaker 1: the Biden administration is effectively funding both sides of the
- 18:41Speaker 1: war because of waving sanctions on Iran and flowing billions
- 18:46Speaker 1: of dollars into Iran that is providing the drones that
- 18:50Speaker 1: are killing Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian soldiers. Biden administration doesn't
- 18:54Speaker 1: want to cut off that funding, so instead they are
- 18:56Speaker 1: funding the drones that are on the other side of
- 18:59Speaker 1: the war. What they need to focus on is the
- 19:03Speaker 1: national security and military objectives, and the objective should not
- 19:07Speaker 1: be for Joe Biden to become Santa Clause for the
- 19:14Speaker 1: entire Ukrainian government. The objective should be focused on concrete
- 19:19Speaker 1: national security objectives, not on air raid sirens and political theater.
- 19:25Speaker 1: We're in this thing and it looks like it's open ended.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It's basically in his announcement there to sit down there,
- 19:32Speaker 1: it was very clear that we are open ended on
- 19:34Speaker 1: the amount of money that we're willing to spend. I'm
- 19:37Speaker 1: worried about accountability and I want to ask you about
- 19:40Speaker 1: a few guys have gotten any updates on, like, Hey,
- 19:43Speaker 1: when we do send money, where's it going? Because Ukraine
- 19:47Speaker 1: is a very corrupt country before Russia invaded. People need
- 19:51Speaker 1: to understand that. So is there any accountability of that money?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Before you answer that question, I want to tell you
- 19:56Speaker 1: about Patriot Mobile. They're an awesome conservative Christian company. It
- 20:00Speaker 1: actually fights back for what we believe in as conservatives.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I am trying to spend my dollars now with more
- 20:05Speaker 1: and more commies that stand up for what I believe
- 20:07Speaker 1: in instead of fighting against what I believe in. You
- 20:10Speaker 1: probably have noticed what's happening in the world right now
- 20:13Speaker 1: when it comes to cancel culture and everything else. So
- 20:15Speaker 1: when I can spend dollars of a commy that fights
- 20:17Speaker 1: for what I stand for, I love doing it. And
- 20:20Speaker 1: that's why I want you to know about Patriot Mobile.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Not only can Patriot Mobile save you money in your
- 20:24Speaker 1: cell phone bill, but they give you the same exact
- 20:26Speaker 1: coverage off the same towers that you're using right now.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You get to keep your same cell phone number as well,
- 20:33Speaker 1: and many times you can keep the same cell phone
- 20:34Speaker 1: you have in your hand as we speak or you
- 20:37Speaker 1: can upgrade to a new one. Now here's the part
- 20:39Speaker 1: you're gonna love. When you pay your bill, you actually
- 20:42Speaker 1: are supporting conservative causes because every time you pay your
- 20:45Speaker 1: bill Patriot Mobile, it takes a portion of it and
- 20:47Speaker 1: they give it back to organizations that stand up for
- 20:50Speaker 1: a first and our Second Amendment rights. They stand up
- 20:53Speaker 1: for unborn children, and they're even now helping with adoptions
- 20:56Speaker 1: since we have had rov Wade overturned. So if you
- 20:59Speaker 1: want to be involved with a company that sends up
- 21:01Speaker 1: for what we believe in, check out Patriot Mobile. Go
- 21:04Speaker 1: to Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict. You'll get the best
- 21:08Speaker 1: deals Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict. Or call them eight
- 21:12Speaker 1: seven eight Patriot. That's eight seven eight Patriot. Use the
- 21:15Speaker 1: promo code verdict. Senator. There's a lot of people that
- 21:18Speaker 1: are worried about the finances of this, and I see
- 21:22Speaker 1: this a lot, and I get this phone call out
- 21:24Speaker 1: on my show, and that is, well, where's this money going?
- 21:27Speaker 1: Because people have heard that Ukraine is corrupt? Yes, is
- 21:30Speaker 1: there any accountability in the accounting for when we send
- 21:33Speaker 1: massive amounts cash because we aren't sending as much weaponry
- 21:36Speaker 1: as we're sending just pure raw cash to Ukraine. Do
- 21:40Speaker 1: we have any accounting or any checks and balances for
- 21:43Speaker 1: this now open ended war. So we're sending both and
- 21:46Speaker 1: we don't have nearly as much accountability as we need.
- 21:50Speaker 1: On the weapons, there are lots of things we're not sending.
- 21:53Speaker 1: For example, what are called attackum ballistic missiles ATACM. Those
- 21:59Speaker 1: are ballistic missiles that Ukraine could use to take out
- 22:03Speaker 1: the Iranian drones, the bases where Iranian drones are being sent,
- 22:06Speaker 1: the operators that are using Iranian drones. Biden administration is
- 22:10Speaker 1: not providing the missiles that could take out those Iranian
- 22:12Speaker 1: drones because their priority is kissing up to the Aetola
- 22:17Speaker 1: and entering into a new nuclear deal with the Aetola,
- 22:21Speaker 1: even if it undermines US national security. At the same time,
- 22:27Speaker 1: the billions that are going to the Ukrainian government that
- 22:31Speaker 1: are not going for ammunition, not going for weapons, but
- 22:35Speaker 1: instead are just going for general economic support. There is
- 22:38Speaker 1: very little transparency, very little accountability as to where that
- 22:41Speaker 1: money is going. I can tell you in the last
- 22:44Speaker 1: couple of weeks I met with an ambassador of a
- 22:47Speaker 1: NATO member and European country that is near Ukraine, and
- 22:54Speaker 1: we spent quite a bit of time talking about what
- 22:58Speaker 1: the status of what was going on in the Ukraine
- 23:00Speaker 1: in war was. And I'll tell you the warning I
- 23:02Speaker 1: gave this ambassador, which is that I think Congressional patience
- 23:09Speaker 1: for an open ended commitment to the Ukraine War is
- 23:15Speaker 1: fading quickly, and with a Republican majority in the House,
- 23:19Speaker 1: I think you're going to see much more scrutiny on
- 23:25Speaker 1: what funds are going. I think there will still be
- 23:28Speaker 1: a willingness to provide actual weaponry, to provide ammunition or
- 23:34Speaker 1: weapons that the Ukrainians can use to defend themselves. I
- 23:37Speaker 1: think there will be very little interest in unrestrained checks
- 23:43Speaker 1: going to the government of Ukraine. I also think the
- 23:46Speaker 1: focus needs to be on what our strategic national objective is.
- 23:52Speaker 1: For the Democrats, do you know what it is this administration?
- 23:55Speaker 1: There is none from this administration for the Democrats. This
- 23:57Speaker 1: has become a virtue signal for the Democrats. They wear
- 24:00Speaker 1: a Ukrainian flag. Zelenski has become I think People magazine
- 24:04Speaker 1: is going to name him the sexiest man alive. They're
- 24:06Speaker 1: in love with him, and it's become a way a
- 24:09Speaker 1: Ukrainian flag has become like a COVID mask. It's a
- 24:13Speaker 1: sign to show your virtue. Yeah. Now, look on the
- 24:17Speaker 1: conservative side, there are a lot of us who are
- 24:20Speaker 1: Reagan Conservatives that believe standing up to Russian aggression is
- 24:23Speaker 1: a good idea, that want Russia to lose, that want
- 24:26Speaker 1: Putin to lose. But as we see all these leftists
- 24:29Speaker 1: preening around with Ukrainian flags and you know, almost dancing
- 24:33Speaker 1: with their fealty to him, it is driving millions of
- 24:38Speaker 1: Americans away and saying, all right, if they're for it,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I ain't for it. They don't have not once has
- 24:46Speaker 1: this president articulated a clear national security interest for the
- 24:50Speaker 1: United States in this war. The State of the Union address,
- 24:55Speaker 1: he talked more about airline baggage fees than he did
- 24:59Speaker 1: the biggest land or in Europe since World War Two
- 25:01Speaker 1: that he caused. And at the same time, he didn't
- 25:04Speaker 1: mention China or the balloon that just come over China
- 25:07Speaker 1: over this country from China, and he also didn't mention
- 25:10Speaker 1: the concern. And I want to ask you this because
- 25:14Speaker 1: this unnatural alliance between China and Russia is one that
- 25:20Speaker 1: I do think could bring us to a massive conflict
- 25:23Speaker 1: of World War three, and yet this administration has literally
- 25:28Speaker 1: done everything you could do to position and force these
- 25:31Speaker 1: two countries into an unnatural alliance. And if you know
- 25:35Speaker 1: anything about foreign policy, you don't want one of the
- 25:39Speaker 1: most wealthy countries in the world that has a lot
- 25:42Speaker 1: like again in a massive military in China also connecting
- 25:46Speaker 1: with a massive nuclear power which is Russia, and them
- 25:50Speaker 1: working together in any type of conflict. So Russia is
- 25:55Speaker 1: our enemy, China is our enemy. Both are true. Putin
- 25:59Speaker 1: is a guy, she is a bad guy. In both instances,
- 26:03Speaker 1: we have nations that are deeply antagonistic and hostile to
- 26:08Speaker 1: the United States. Biden's weakness towards all of our enemies
- 26:14Speaker 1: has the effect of driving all of our enemies together
- 26:17Speaker 1: and making them more aggressive. So Biden's weakness towards Iran
- 26:23Speaker 1: causes Iran to be getting billions of dollars from Russia
- 26:26Speaker 1: providing drones that are being used against the Ukrainians and
- 26:30Speaker 1: the Ukrainian War. Biden's weakness towards China, and in fact,
- 26:34Speaker 1: the fact that the Biden administration is perfectly happy to
- 26:37Speaker 1: spend millions of dollars buying electric vehicles and batteries made
- 26:42Speaker 1: using slave labor in Chinese concentration camps. That weakness to
- 26:46Speaker 1: China makes China more willing to provide lethal military equipment
- 26:52Speaker 1: to Russia again to be used to wage the war.
- 26:55Speaker 1: In every instance, when the Biden administration is weak, our
- 26:59Speaker 1: enemy gets stronger and they get unified in their opposition
- 27:04Speaker 1: to the United States. This crap didn't happen when Trump
- 27:08Speaker 1: was president, and there's a reason they were scared as
- 27:11Speaker 1: hell of this guy. It wasn't dumb luck. There was
- 27:13Speaker 1: an actual strategy that his administration had and the foreign
- 27:17Speaker 1: policy people around him had, and as you just said,
- 27:20Speaker 1: they were scared of his response. And there's a reason.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And this is something that Biden and most Democrats don't understand.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Weakness is provocative. The weaker Biden is, the worse our
- 27:34Speaker 1: enemies get. Appeasement doesn't work and instead what and it
- 27:41Speaker 1: actually paradoxically, the weaker you are, the greater you increase
- 27:46Speaker 1: the chance of war. You want to stay out of war.
- 27:48Speaker 1: War three, don't elect a spineless jellyfish like Joe Biden
- 27:52Speaker 1: to be president because our enemies view him as so
- 27:56Speaker 1: weak that he sits there for eight days while a
- 28:00Speaker 1: Chinese spy balloon conducts espionage on the United States, and
- 28:04Speaker 1: he does nothing. He shoots it down after its missions complete,
- 28:07Speaker 1: and then getting back to the point that it's all
- 28:10Speaker 1: pr all the time. In the three weeks later, he
- 28:13Speaker 1: shoots down three random things in the atmosphere that he
- 28:16Speaker 1: doesn't know what the hell they are. They may be
- 28:18Speaker 1: some high school kids twelve dollars balloon that we're sending
- 28:23Speaker 1: four hundred thousand dollars missiles to shoot down. That is
- 28:27Speaker 1: not the actions of a commander in chief who is soberly,
- 28:33Speaker 1: clear eyed saying what do we need to do to
- 28:36Speaker 1: defend the nation? Shooting down a high school weather balloon
- 28:41Speaker 1: is the equivalent of sounding the air raid alarms when
- 28:45Speaker 1: you walk with Zelenski. It's made for TV. Look how
- 28:49Speaker 1: tough I am. I shot something down. It just doesn't
- 28:51Speaker 1: happen to be a Chinese spy balloon. The weaker Biden is,
- 28:56Speaker 1: the more dangerous our enemies get. There's a complicated and
- 29:00Speaker 1: it's one that I think is really important, and it
- 29:04Speaker 1: deals with foreign policy and treaties with Russia and nuclear weapons.
- 29:10Speaker 1: And I want to get into that because this could
- 29:14Speaker 1: have probably all been avoided if we would have played
- 29:17Speaker 1: it differently. And this is why foreign policy matters, and
- 29:20Speaker 1: I want to get into that in a moment. Before
- 29:21Speaker 1: we get to that, though, I want to tell you
- 29:23Speaker 1: about Chalk. We've talked about strength, We've talked about weakness.
- 29:26Speaker 1: And if you're a guy that's getting a little bit
- 29:28Speaker 1: older and you feel like you're losing some of that edge,
- 29:31Speaker 1: well now's your time to fight back. Chalk is a
- 29:34Speaker 1: company Chq, and they're here to help real American men
- 29:38Speaker 1: maximize their masculine by boosting testosterone levels up to twenty
- 29:43Speaker 1: percent over ninety days. Now. Look, I've been taking this.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Jesse Kelly, I blame him for this. He told me
- 29:49Speaker 1: about Chalk and he's like, look, you're getting older. I'm
- 29:51Speaker 1: getting older. It really does work. You should try it.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I did, and it is working. Now you can check
- 29:58Speaker 1: out the Chalk Mail Vitality Stack and you can see
- 30:01Speaker 1: if it works for you. This American made company right here.

- 30:17Speaker 1: Code Ben for thirty five percent off chalkoq dot com center.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I want to get back to this other issue, and
- 30:25Speaker 1: it is such an important one. It deals with foreign policy.
- 30:28Speaker 1: The News Start treaty is something that many people may
- 30:32Speaker 1: not even know about what it does, and now Rush
- 30:36Speaker 1: has pulled out of it. Honestly, hadn't gotten a lot
- 30:38Speaker 1: of media attention. It should because if this would have
- 30:42Speaker 1: been handled correctly, and this goes back to the Obama
- 30:45Speaker 1: Biden years, there's also this debt. A lot of this
- 30:49Speaker 1: was going on and whether to renew or not renew
- 30:51Speaker 1: under the under the Trump administration, and now with Joe
- 30:55Speaker 1: Biden seems to bungle this to a level where we
- 30:58Speaker 1: may not be where will you be today if there
- 31:00Speaker 1: would have been different decisions made to explain it for people. Well,
- 31:04Speaker 1: this week Russia pulled out of the New Start Treaty
- 31:09Speaker 1: and the media coverage of kind of confused. They can't
- 31:11Speaker 1: figure out what to say about this. I'll tell you
- 31:14Speaker 1: what they should be saying. This is unequivocally good for America.
- 31:17Speaker 1: This treaty was bad for America Russia. Ironically, this is
- 31:22Speaker 1: one of the few things good that has come out
- 31:24Speaker 1: of Joe Biden's bungled handling of the Ukraine War. Is
- 31:28Speaker 1: it drove Russia to pull out of a treaty. We
- 31:30Speaker 1: should have pulled out a long time ago. Now, how
- 31:34Speaker 1: does Russia handle treatise? And this goes back to the
- 31:36Speaker 1: philosophy we're talking about before. I believe in peace through strength.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I think the way you avoid war. I am deeply
- 31:44Speaker 1: anti war. The way you avoid war is you're so
- 31:48Speaker 1: strong your enemies don't want to screw with you. Reagan
- 31:52Speaker 1: understood this. Reagan rebuilt the military. Reagan took on the
- 31:56Speaker 1: Soviet Union. Reagan denounced the Soviet Union as an evil empire.
- 32:01Speaker 1: He said Marxism Leninism would end up on the ash
- 32:03Speaker 1: heap of history. When he was asked, what's your strategy
- 32:06Speaker 1: in the Cold War? He said, very simple, we win,
- 32:09Speaker 1: they lose. All of the intellectual glitterati in Washington were
- 32:14Speaker 1: horrified at this simpleton who didn't understand nuance. By the way,
- 32:20Speaker 1: when it comes to China, we need a similar strategy
- 32:23Speaker 1: to how we won the Cold War. And I have
- 32:25Speaker 1: spent a decade laying out a strategy, just like Reagan
- 32:29Speaker 1: articulated with the Soviet Union, a comprehensive strategy to stand
- 32:33Speaker 1: up and defeat communist China in the years to come.
- 32:38Speaker 1: With the Soviet Union. We entered a whole series of treaties,
- 32:43Speaker 1: and let me cut to the chase. On every one
- 32:46Speaker 1: of the arms controlled treaties. The Soviet Union and now Russia.
- 32:51Speaker 1: They cheat, they lie, they cheat. Yeah, they're not honest people.
- 32:55Speaker 1: They're never gonna be. They're gonna do whatever they can
- 32:57Speaker 1: to get away with whatever they can get away with.
- 32:59Speaker 1: By the way, you know, one of those agreements was
- 33:00Speaker 1: something called the Budapest Memorandum. You know what the Budapest
- 33:03Speaker 1: Memorandum was. So the United States in Russia are the
- 33:08Speaker 1: top two countries in the world that have nuclear weapons.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Do you know what the third country used to be?
- 33:14Speaker 1: Was it? No, it used to be Ukraine. As part
- 33:17Speaker 1: of the Soviet uk Ukraine had the third largest collection
- 33:21Speaker 1: of nuclear weapons on the planet. Ukraine agreed to voluntarily
- 33:26Speaker 1: give up all their nukes. So Ukraine took a bunch
- 33:29Speaker 1: of nukes. It happened in the Soviet Union. It gave
- 33:31Speaker 1: them all up. It has zero in exchange. The United
- 33:35Speaker 1: States and Russia signed the Budapest Memorandum agreeing to protect
- 33:40Speaker 1: the territorial integrity of Ukraine. So Russia signed the agreement saying, yep,
- 33:45Speaker 1: we'll honor the borders of Ukraine, and you can see
- 33:49Speaker 1: how much they're bound by that. Reagan famously said with
- 33:53Speaker 1: the Soviet Union, trust, but verify with the treaties. I
- 33:59Speaker 1: wouldn't need and trust. At this point we know that
- 34:02Speaker 1: they're going to cheat. And so it's interesting. This is
- 34:04Speaker 1: an issue I've been engaged in for a decade. So
- 34:06Speaker 1: let's go back to twenty fourteen. Twenty fourteen when Russia
- 34:12Speaker 1: invaded Ukraine the first time invaded Crimea, and it was
- 34:18Speaker 1: very interesting. Putin then described it as perfectly legal, and
- 34:24Speaker 1: he said, it writes an historical wrong in which Russia
- 34:28Speaker 1: was robbed of its rightful claim to the Crimean peninsula
- 34:31Speaker 1: in nineteen fifty four. But what's amazing it was President
- 34:35Speaker 1: Obama's response to the invasion of Ukraine. Then he observed,
- 34:39Speaker 1: this is a quote from Obama. President Putin seems to
- 34:42Speaker 1: have a different set of lawyers making a different set
- 34:46Speaker 1: of interpretations. What an imbecilic thing to say. What this
- 34:53Speaker 1: was a clear violation that this was not about lawyers
- 34:57Speaker 1: making an interpretation. Putin was very candidate. He has described
- 35:01Speaker 1: the dissolution of the Soviet Union as quote, the greatest,
- 35:04Speaker 1: greatest geopolitical disaster of the twentieth century, and he's made
- 35:08Speaker 1: clear he wants to reassemble the Soviet Union. How did
- 35:12Speaker 1: we win the Cold War? We stood up to the
- 35:13Speaker 1: Soviet Union, we called it out for what it was.
- 35:16Speaker 1: We built up our military, and then the peace that
- 35:18Speaker 1: was transformational was SDI, the Strategic Defense Initiative. Reagan understood,
- 35:24Speaker 1: we will use our technological advantage to develop missile defense,
- 35:29Speaker 1: which ultimately is how we will beat the Soviets, and
- 35:34Speaker 1: and by almost bankrupting them as part of it, we
- 35:36Speaker 1: will go to the arms race, and we will even
- 35:39Speaker 1: put out misinformation, star wars and everything else to the
- 35:42Speaker 1: point where they just can't keep up financially, and it
- 35:44Speaker 1: will weaken them so badly because we knew they were
- 35:47Speaker 1: teetering economically, and we knew they couldn't afford to play
- 35:50Speaker 1: with us. So SDI, the corrupt corporate media and the
- 35:53Speaker 1: eighties derisively referred to it as star wars. Yeah, and
- 35:57Speaker 1: you remember the analogy that they used to use of saying, okay,
- 36:00Speaker 1: a missile interceptor hitting a missile, that's like a bullet
- 36:04Speaker 1: hitting a bullet in air. They mocked it and said
- 36:06Speaker 1: it's impossible. And Reagan had a vision that if we
- 36:10Speaker 1: use our technology to take out their missiles, that's how
- 36:12Speaker 1: we defeat them. And what happened. You look at Reikovic
- 36:15Speaker 1: in in Iceland where where Gorbachov came and said he'll
- 36:20Speaker 1: sign a big treaty if if you abandon SDI and
- 36:25Speaker 1: Reagan got up and walked out said nope, if that's
- 36:28Speaker 1: the price, no, and it ultimately bankrupted the Soviet Union.
- 36:32Speaker 1: They couldn't keep up with the economic engine that developed
- 36:36Speaker 1: the technology to defend us. Now, leftist being what they
- 36:41Speaker 1: are on national security, they're wrong on everything. So missile defense,
- 36:46Speaker 1: which is enormously important if you care about peace. If
- 36:48Speaker 1: you care about peace. By the way, before missile defense,
- 36:52Speaker 1: the strategy was mad mutually assured destruction. We both aim
- 36:55Speaker 1: nukes at each other, and the only thing to stop
- 36:57Speaker 1: you from firing nukes is we're both going to blow
- 36:59Speaker 1: up the war and turn it into a glowing ash
- 37:01Speaker 1: Cuban missile crisis in a nutshell, that is Democrat policy.
- 37:05Speaker 1: And what Reagan understood is, look, let's use technology to
- 37:09Speaker 1: stop their nukes from getting to us to begin with.
- 37:13Speaker 1: So what did Obama do? Obama systematically undermine So for example,
- 37:17Speaker 1: two thousand nine, Obama comes in. One of the first
- 37:19Speaker 1: decisions he makes is to cancel plans for a ballistic
- 37:23Speaker 1: missile defense system in Central Europe, plans that George W.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Bushould announced. Obama promptly goes in and goes, Nope, no
- 37:29Speaker 1: missile defense. We don't want to do that. You know,
- 37:34Speaker 1: when he announced that he announced canceling the ballistic missile
- 37:39Speaker 1: defense in Central Europe on the seventieth anniversary of the
- 37:44Speaker 1: Soviet invasion of Poland September seventeenth, two thousand and nine,
- 37:49Speaker 1: like literally groveling at a level if you're a Russian
- 37:56Speaker 1: press agent, you wouldn't come up with a better time
- 37:59Speaker 1: to announce sit And at the same time, he made
- 38:07Speaker 1: enormous concessions on missile defense in the New Start Treaty,
- 38:12Speaker 1: which was implemented in twenty eleven. So it's another Obama
- 38:14Speaker 1: special and it initially was going to expire in twenty
- 38:18Speaker 1: twenty one. And so I called for back in twenty fourteen,
- 38:24Speaker 1: get out of New Start. Why because New Start limits
- 38:27Speaker 1: our ability to defend ourselves against missiles and the Russians cheat. Yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: the Russians cheat, and they cheat, and they cheat, and
- 38:34Speaker 1: we knew they were cheating. We could verify they were cheating.
- 38:36Speaker 1: So we tie our hands and the other side doesn't. Now,
- 38:41Speaker 1: fast forward to twenty fifteen. Twenty fifteen, I called on
- 38:45Speaker 1: the Obama administration to release the Department of Defense had
- 38:48Speaker 1: done an assessment of how much Russia had cheated on
- 38:53Speaker 1: the I n F Treaty, the Intermediate Nuclear Forces Treaty,
- 38:55Speaker 1: another treaty that Russia was cheating wildly on. Dodd concluded,
- 39:00Speaker 1: they're cheating wildly, and yet they suppressed the report. Why
- 39:04Speaker 1: because they were trying to ram through New Start. So
- 39:07Speaker 1: they didn't want to admit Russia's cheating on I n
- 39:09Speaker 1: F because if they did, they wouldn't be able to
- 39:11Speaker 1: get the New Start treat So that was twenty fifteen,
- 39:14Speaker 1: all right. Then twenty eighteen, I joined with John Kyle
- 39:19Speaker 1: and with twenty three additional senators in a letter to
- 39:22Speaker 1: President Trump asking him to press back on New Start.
- 39:25Speaker 1: That New Start was a terrible treaty. It had been extended,
- 39:31Speaker 1: but it shouldn't have been, and we needed to get
- 39:34Speaker 1: out of it. Why because the Russians cheat and it
- 39:38Speaker 1: limits our ability to defend ourselves. Now, Trump on treatise
- 39:43Speaker 1: did a good job pulling out of the I and
- 39:46Speaker 1: F treaty, and he also pulled out of what's called
- 39:49Speaker 1: the Open Skies Treaty, which prohibited our ability to basically
- 39:53Speaker 1: do what the Chinese spy balloon was doing, to engage
- 39:56Speaker 1: in surveillance on Russian sites. Mind you, they engaged in surveillance,
- 39:59Speaker 1: and so literally we tied our hands and they openly
- 40:03Speaker 1: mocked it and ignored it. I urged Trump pull out
- 40:06Speaker 1: Open Skies. He did pull out of Open Skies on
- 40:10Speaker 1: New Start. Unfortunately, Trump didn't pull out of it. He
- 40:13Speaker 1: should have done that, but at a minimum, he didn't
- 40:16Speaker 1: expand it, so that was good. He refrained from expanding it.
- 40:20Speaker 1: What did Biden do when he gets in. One of
- 40:22Speaker 1: the first things he did was expand New Start because
- 40:24Speaker 1: there's nothing Democrats like more than a treaty that ties
- 40:28Speaker 1: our hands, makes us weaker, and that lets the Russians
- 40:32Speaker 1: and Chinese get stronger. Now here's an amazing thing. I'm
- 40:35Speaker 1: going to read you a headline from January thirty first,
- 40:39Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, so not too long ago. US says
- 40:43Speaker 1: Russia violating New Start nuclear arms control treaty. So finally,
- 40:48Speaker 1: the Biden administration was forced to admit that Russia was
- 40:53Speaker 1: in violation because, among other things, they refused to allow
- 40:57Speaker 1: inspection activities on its territory. So they say, nope, you
- 41:00Speaker 1: can't expect it, inspect it. By the way, this is
- 41:04Speaker 1: the same problem with the Obama Iran nuclear treaty, where
- 41:10Speaker 1: Obama trusted Iran to inspect itself, and under the terms
- 41:15Speaker 1: of the treaty, the inspectors could not go into military facilities. Well,
- 41:19Speaker 1: guess what. That's where the Iranians put their nuclear research
- 41:22Speaker 1: in military facilities like Ford, oh a research lab buried
- 41:28Speaker 1: in a mountain declared off limits. So this is a pattern.
- 41:33Speaker 1: It's a pattern from Obama, it's a pattern from Biden.
- 41:36Speaker 1: It's a pattern from Democrats that they enter into agreements
- 41:41Speaker 1: that weaken the US militarily and that allow the Russians
- 41:45Speaker 1: and also allow the Chinese, and also allow the Iranians
- 41:48Speaker 1: to cheat and build up their military. And if you
- 41:52Speaker 1: believe in peace through strength, you want the opposite. You
- 41:54Speaker 1: want us stronger and them weaker. The Biden approach, they're
- 41:58Speaker 1: stronger and where we can we knew we were in
- 42:01Speaker 1: trouble with foreign policy. And I go back to this
- 42:03Speaker 1: because I think the day that the world realized they
- 42:06Speaker 1: could do whatever they want to do. I'm referring to
- 42:08Speaker 1: the bad guys. Was the day that we started taking
- 42:10Speaker 1: orders from the Taliban in Afghanistan in our pull out.
- 42:14Speaker 1: And if you look at what's happened since then, Senator,
- 42:17Speaker 1: whether it be Russia, whether it be Iran, whether it
- 42:20Speaker 1: be China, that's the day when they said kick it
- 42:22Speaker 1: into high gear and let's do whatever the hell we
- 42:25Speaker 1: want to do right now, whether that be screw with
- 42:27Speaker 1: tie were on screw with America's spy balloons over America.
- 42:30Speaker 1: And as you said earlier, this didn't happen when Donald
- 42:33Speaker 1: Trump was present for a reason. Look, deterrence works, but
- 42:37Speaker 1: deterrance only works if you're strong enough that they're afraid
- 42:42Speaker 1: of you. You know. The Democrats of the media like
- 42:45Speaker 1: to characterize Reagan as a warmonger. That was something you
- 42:49Speaker 1: heard constantly. He wasn't. The biggest country Reagan ever invaded
- 42:54Speaker 1: in eight years as president was Grenada, the Cold War,
- 43:00Speaker 1: which all of the smart liberals, and they would tell
- 43:04Speaker 1: you they're smart because they were wrong about everything. All
- 43:07Speaker 1: of the smart liberals said the Soviet Union could never
- 43:10Speaker 1: be defeated, said we had to give in the malaise.
- 43:13Speaker 1: We couldn't take on the Soviet Union, they were too strong.
- 43:16Speaker 1: All of that was nonsense. And here's the amazing thing.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Under Reagan's leadership, we won the Cold War without firing
- 43:26Speaker 1: a shot. Look, let me repeat that, because that's an
- 43:29Speaker 1: amazing thing. The Berlin compared to literally what Russia is
- 43:33Speaker 1: happening right now with Ukraine. How many missiles have been dropped,
- 43:36Speaker 1: how many people have died, how many people been tortured,
- 43:38Speaker 1: they found mass graves, and again, what randon there was.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Take all of that down in Russia without you, as
- 43:43Speaker 1: you said, firing one show. And if Biden hadn't waived
- 43:46Speaker 1: sanctions on Nordstream two, if he hadn't waived the sanctions
- 43:49Speaker 1: on Russian and Putin, there would be no Ukraine War.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Joseph Robinette Biden Junior caused this war because he was
- 43:57Speaker 1: so weak that Putin said, this guy is a paper
- 44:02Speaker 1: tiger and he's not even a tiger, he's just paper. Yeah,
- 44:04Speaker 1: and he went in, We could have stopped it. And
- 44:07Speaker 1: it's not just me who said that. Zelenski said that
- 44:10Speaker 1: the government of Poland said that weakness is provocative. I've
- 44:15Speaker 1: joked before. There's a reason nobody goes and gets a
- 44:19Speaker 1: degree from the Neville Chamberlain School of Foreign Affairs. Appeasement,
- 44:24Speaker 1: particularly a bad actors, inevitably results in those bad actors
- 44:29Speaker 1: getting worse, and that has happened at historic levels in
- 44:34Speaker 1: the last two years underbody. This is one I love
- 44:37Speaker 1: doing this podcast for ye Senator. We get to talk
- 44:39Speaker 1: about things that no one else is talking about. I
