- 0:00Speaker 1: Iran is begging. That is the exact quote from President
- 0:04Speaker 1: Donald Trump, proving that the US has the upper hand.
- 0:09Speaker 1: President Trump made it crystal clear we the United States,
- 0:13Speaker 1: are in control, and Iran knows it. After weeks of
- 0:17Speaker 1: relentless pressure, military strikes, and economic consequences, President Trump has
- 0:22Speaker 1: now announced that he is giving Iran ten more days
- 0:26Speaker 1: to come to the table and make a deal. Not
- 0:29Speaker 1: because America is weak, not because we're desperate, because Iran is.
- 0:34Speaker 1: The President's saying that Iran's even offering up gifts. This
- 0:38Speaker 1: is just one example of how bad they want a deal.
- 0:43Speaker 2: They said, to show you the fact that we're real
- 0:48Speaker 2: and solid and we're there, We're gonna let you have
- 0:52Speaker 2: eight boats of oil, eight boats, eight big boats of oil.
- 0:56Speaker 2: This was two days ago, and they'll sail up tomorrow.
- 0:59Speaker 2: That three days ago. And I didn't think much about it.
- 1:05Speaker 2: And then I watched the news and they said a
- 1:09Speaker 2: very good anchor, actually happy to be Fox. But I
- 1:14Speaker 2: watched it and he said, something's unusual happening. There are
- 1:18Speaker 2: eight boats that are going right up the middle of
- 1:24Speaker 2: the Hormo Strait. Eight big tankers are going loaded up
- 1:28Speaker 2: with oil right through And I said, well, I guess,
- 1:31Speaker 2: I guess they were right, and they were real, and
- 1:35Speaker 2: I think they were Pakistani flagged. And I said, well,
- 1:40Speaker 2: I guess we're dealing with the right people. And actually
- 1:43Speaker 2: they then apologized for something they said, and they said,
- 1:46Speaker 2: we're going to send two more boats and it ended
- 1:49Speaker 2: up being ten bouts. And I hope I haven't screwed
- 1:51Speaker 2: up your negotiations. But I thought it was appropriate to say,
- 1:55Speaker 2: because I did taught you the other day by saying
- 1:58Speaker 2: they're going to give us a present.
- 2:01Speaker 1: A president they gave and as the President said, there,
- 2:04Speaker 1: we're dealing with the right people in Iran is begging
- 2:07Speaker 1: to get a deal done. The President of United States
- 2:10Speaker 1: America is saying it directly from the White House and
- 2:12Speaker 1: to the world and to the people in Iran as well.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Why is this happening Because the pressure is clearly working.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Their infrastructure has been hit hard, their military capabilities in
- 2:24Speaker 1: Iran have been degraded significantly, and the economy in Iran
- 2:29Speaker 1: is filling the squeeze like never before. And now suddenly
- 2:33Speaker 1: the same regime they chance death to America now wants
- 2:37Speaker 1: to negotiate with us. That is exactly what leadership and
- 2:41Speaker 1: strength shows you the consequences for your actions, and Iran
- 2:46Speaker 1: knows it all too well. Now here's what's even more telling.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Iran didn't ask for ten days. They asked for seven.
- 2:54Speaker 1: We're also being tump and Trump said no, you're getting ten.
- 2:59Speaker 1: That's leverage, that's control, and that's what it looks like
- 3:03Speaker 1: when you have a president that says I'm willing to
- 3:06Speaker 1: take on our enemies. They make no mistake. This is
- 3:10Speaker 1: not a peace gesture out of weakness at all, even
- 3:13Speaker 1: though Democrats try to spin it that way. Instantly, it's
- 3:17Speaker 1: a strategic pause from a position of dominance, saying let's
- 3:20Speaker 1: get the deal done the right way. Trump also made
- 3:23Speaker 1: it clear the talks are happening and they're going well.
- 3:28Speaker 1: He also sent a message that couldn't be clear, make
- 3:31Speaker 1: the deal or the pressure comes back even harder. That's
- 3:35Speaker 1: the Trump doctrine literally in real time. It is peace
- 3:39Speaker 1: through strength, not appeasement, not begging for an adversaries to
- 3:44Speaker 1: behave like the Obama and Biden administration didn't while they
- 3:47Speaker 1: were sending billions of dollars that ended up funding terrorism
- 3:51Speaker 1: to Iran, but instead forcing a ran to the table
- 3:55Speaker 1: because they have no other choice and Here's what really
- 3:59Speaker 1: drives a left crazy about this moment. They've spent years
- 4:02Speaker 1: telling you that being tough on Iran would lead to chaos,
- 4:06Speaker 1: that the pressure wouldn't work, that America had to compromise
- 4:11Speaker 1: to get a deal done. Well, look at what's happening now.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Iran is now the one asking for time. Iran is
- 4:19Speaker 1: the one making gestures. Iran is the one that is
- 4:22Speaker 1: now trying to cut a deal. And the question every
- 4:26Speaker 1: American should ask is why. It's because they understand in
- 4:30Speaker 1: Iran something very simple. This president isn't bluffing, and that
- 4:36Speaker 1: changes literally everything now. The next ten days are critical
- 4:42Speaker 1: because Iran has a choice to make come to the
- 4:44Speaker 1: table and agree to terms that protect American interests or
- 4:49Speaker 1: face the full force of what our military in President
- 4:53Speaker 1: Trump's leadership will do next. I want to be honest
- 4:57Speaker 1: with you for a second about how an active ca
- 5:00Speaker 1: compassion really feels. A couple of years ago, I made
- 5:03Speaker 1: the choice to partner with an amazing organization called Compassion International.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Why because I wanted to sponsor a child in need.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It was a nice idea, sure, but I had no
- 5:15Speaker 1: idea just how much that simple act would change my life.
- 5:19Speaker 1: As well, I sponsored Nadia and got to watch your
- 5:23Speaker 1: life change right in front of my eyes, going from
- 5:26Speaker 1: starving literally alone on the streets, to getting the healthcare
- 5:30Speaker 1: and education she needs to reach her God given full potential.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I got to be a part of that change. And
- 5:37Speaker 1: the light of that compassion not only illuminates in her,
- 5:41Speaker 1: it illuminates now in me. That is the power of compassion.
- 5:46Speaker 1: The light of Christ shines on all of us. Feel
- 5:50Speaker 1: it for yourself and change literally a child's life, change
- 5:54Speaker 1: the world, and you also change yourself. You can sponsor
- 5:58Speaker 1: child today. Visit compassion dot com. That's compassion dot com.
- 6:04Speaker 1: The President also talked about just how big this development
- 6:08Speaker 1: actually is and how important it is to get a
- 6:11Speaker 1: deal done. He called in the Fox News channel, and
- 6:14Speaker 1: this is part of what he had to say of
- 6:17Speaker 1: a certain country.
- 6:18Speaker 3: There are not a lot of takers to be the
- 6:20Speaker 3: head of Iran right now. I will tell you they're
- 6:23Speaker 3: all fighting not to We don't want that position. But
- 6:26Speaker 3: they asked me if they would Kelly. Importantly, they said
- 6:29Speaker 3: to me very nicely through my people, could we have
- 6:33Speaker 3: more time because we're talking about tomorrow night, which is
- 6:37Speaker 3: pretty quick. And if they don't do what they have
- 6:41Speaker 3: to do. I will knock out their power plants. And
- 6:44Speaker 3: they said, does that include nuclear? Because they have nuclear.
- 6:47Speaker 3: You't plenty of money. They have a lot of money,
- 6:49Speaker 3: and they built nuclear and they've built regular power plants,
- 6:52Speaker 3: but they're massive and very expensive, billions of dollars. And
- 6:55Speaker 3: so I gave them a ten day period. They asked
- 7:00Speaker 3: for seven. You're gonna say, oh, Trump's a terrible negotiator.
- 7:03Speaker 3: They asked for seven, and I said, I'm going to
- 7:05Speaker 3: give you ten because they gave me ships. We talked
- 7:09Speaker 3: about the eight ships, you know the president that I
- 7:11Speaker 3: talked about the other day. But they asked for seven,
- 7:14Speaker 3: and I gave them ten. You got ten days, and
- 7:17Speaker 3: they were very thankful about that. Now they may say, oh,
- 7:20Speaker 3: we're not speaking. I don't like that, because that wasn't
- 7:22Speaker 3: true of the last time. As you found out, the.
- 7:24Speaker 1: President also had another meeting at the White House. He
- 7:28Speaker 1: took questions from reporters, and this may be the SoundBite
- 7:31Speaker 1: of the week, as the President said this about a
- 7:34Speaker 1: ran and why they're at the table begging to get
- 7:37Speaker 1: a deal done.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Now, I have a feeling that should clean up pretty quickly.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I could just say this, they want to make it
- 7:43Speaker 2: they want to make and I probably hurt our little negotiation.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It gives them a little impetus to say, well, I
- 7:49Speaker 2: wish you didn't say that, But they said yesterday that
- 7:52Speaker 2: we weren't negotiating with them, and now they admit that
- 7:54Speaker 2: we weren't negotiating with them, so they want to make
- 7:57Speaker 2: a deal.
- 7:59Speaker 4: You got.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I love the honesty and the bluntness there from the
- 8:03Speaker 1: President of the United States of America. Now, one other
- 8:06Speaker 1: thing that is very interesting is how the media has
- 8:09Speaker 1: quietly had to correct a story that was a lie
- 8:14Speaker 1: that Iran's Tarish regime was not close to being able
- 8:18Speaker 1: to hit the homeland of the United States of America
- 8:21Speaker 1: and was not close to actually having nuclear weapons. Well,
- 8:25Speaker 1: now we've got more of that story on the record,
- 8:28Speaker 1: and Senator Tom Cotton talked about it this way in Congress.
- 8:35Speaker 5: From both of your expertise about missiles in space and
- 8:39Speaker 5: build on what Senator Arnst was discussing the launch of
- 8:43Speaker 5: the intermediate range ballistic missile towards our base in die
- 8:47Speaker 5: Garcia in the middle of the Indian Ocean. That's bad.
- 8:53Speaker 5: I'm glad that it failed. I'm glad that we shot
- 8:54Speaker 5: down one It also, of course, shows that the fat
- 8:59Speaker 5: wah against missiles of that range is not exactly worth
- 9:03Speaker 5: the paper it was written on, probably like the fat
- 9:06Speaker 5: was against other long range missiles and nuclear weapons. But
- 9:10Speaker 5: let me just ask this that the technology needed not
- 9:14Speaker 5: for an intermediate range missile, but an intercontinental missile, a
- 9:17Speaker 5: missile that could hit the United States. It's pretty much
- 9:20Speaker 5: the same as an intermediate range missile, isn't that right,
- 9:25Speaker 5: Admiral Corral, Yes, Centator, that's correct, General Whiting, isn't that correct?
- 9:32Speaker 6: It is centator And it's not too much different from
- 9:35Speaker 6: a space launch vehicle either.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:36Speaker 5: And you know, so you need enough booster thrust to
- 9:40Speaker 5: get something into space, and you need a reentry vehicle
- 9:42Speaker 5: to get it back from out of space or from
- 9:45Speaker 5: space into the Earth surface. And you said, general writing,
- 9:49Speaker 5: Iron has long had a space launch vehicle program. Have
- 9:54Speaker 5: you and your observations about space, have you seen any
- 9:56Speaker 5: running astronauts up there lately? They do have a man
- 10:00Speaker 5: space flight. Wow shocking. Do you think maybe the space
- 10:03Speaker 5: launch vehicle program is just flimsy cover for an intercontinental missile?
- 10:08Speaker 6: I do think they were developing intercental blistic missile.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Centator and Admiral Crail, for a reentry vehicle, that what
- 10:16Speaker 5: they used for that missile going to diegre Garcia. For
- 10:19Speaker 5: that matter, the medium range missiles that are shot at Israel,
- 10:22Speaker 5: that'd be a suitable reentry vehicle, right, that's correct, Centator,
- 10:26Speaker 5: So all you'd have to do in a crude but
- 10:28Speaker 5: functioning fashion is marry those two technologies and Iran would
- 10:32Speaker 5: be able to strike us here in the United States.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Is that correct?
- 10:35Speaker 1: That's correct?
- 10:37Speaker 5: And I have to say I think that could be
- 10:38Speaker 5: done in a matter of months, not years, and maybe
- 10:41Speaker 5: not that many months. Is that on your mind, Admiral Crail.
- 10:43Speaker 5: It's track Com absolutely demonstrated that technology. Thank you for that.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So there's the new reality on where we are, why
- 10:51Speaker 1: the President was forced to act and now President Trump
- 10:56Speaker 1: having a real pause to have real negotiations with Iran,
- 11:01Speaker 1: allowing them several more days to get things done the
- 11:05Speaker 1: right way. Gavin Newsom should be in hot water right
- 11:10Speaker 1: now for his clearly racist comments about African Americans having
- 11:15Speaker 1: low IQ. But let's be honest, the media is not
- 11:19Speaker 1: talking about this and it should be receiving far more
- 11:22Speaker 1: attention than it is because of this story involved a
- 11:25Speaker 1: Republican governor instead of Gavin Newsom, it would have a
- 11:29Speaker 1: twenty four hour media firestorm all over it, and more
- 11:34Speaker 1: than likely that Republican governor would have had to resign.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Now reports indicate that Governor Newsom is facing backlash, but
- 11:42Speaker 1: not from the media after telling a black mayor, I'm
- 11:46Speaker 1: like you before referencing low IQ in the conversation. Now,
- 11:50Speaker 1: let's be very clear, invoking IQ at a conversation involving
- 11:55Speaker 1: an African American elected official a mayor, especially in a
- 11:59Speaker 1: way that can be in is linking race and intelligence
- 12:02Speaker 1: is not just careless, It's not just politically explosive. It
- 12:06Speaker 1: should be condemned outright as straight up racism now, because
- 12:11Speaker 1: intelligence is not determined by race, period, is what the
- 12:15Speaker 1: media should have also said in this report, but they're
- 12:18Speaker 1: not talking about it. So when language like that's used,
- 12:21Speaker 1: even loosely, even jokingly, or even defensively, it should matter,
- 12:27Speaker 1: and it should matter to all American voters. The bigger
- 12:31Speaker 1: issue here is, yes, the double standard. This is the
- 12:35Speaker 1: part that makes me angry because if a Republican governor
- 12:39Speaker 1: use this language or even hinted at racial stereotypes involving
- 12:45Speaker 1: intelligence based on the color of your skin. What would
- 12:48Speaker 1: have happened. I know exactly what would have happened. Number one,
- 12:51Speaker 1: we would have had wall to all cable news coverage
- 12:54Speaker 1: demanding more than just an apology, but then demanding that
- 12:57Speaker 1: other Republicans call for that governor to resign. We have
- 13:01Speaker 1: none of that right now on TV. Editorial boards would
- 13:06Speaker 1: have also jumped in demanding accountability, saying that voters deserve
- 13:10Speaker 1: more from their governor than this, and then there would
- 13:13Speaker 1: have been the national political outrage from nationally elected figures
- 13:18Speaker 1: or centers or congressmen far away from wherever the outrage
- 13:21Speaker 1: actually happened. In this situation, it actually did happen in California.
- 13:26Speaker 1: There would be zero tolerance as well as zero hesitation
- 13:30Speaker 1: to condemn a Republican if they did this. But because
- 13:34Speaker 1: it's the high profile Democratic front runner or at least
- 13:38Speaker 1: number two in line for the White House on the
- 13:40Speaker 1: Democratic Party, then apparently they're all willing to cover for
- 13:45Speaker 1: the racist words of Gavin Newsom. There's also the lies
- 13:49Speaker 1: of this story, which are even more incredible. When Newsom
- 13:52Speaker 1: is talking to a black audience, he says, I'm dumb too, yeah,
- 13:55Speaker 1: just like you. But when Newsom was talking to a
- 13:59Speaker 1: white audience. I want you to listen carefully to what
- 14:02Speaker 1: he had to say to that audience.
- 14:06Speaker 7: You've written the hell of a book. And I don't
- 14:07Speaker 7: say that lightly. I went through it in a quick
- 14:12Speaker 7: hour and a half.
- 14:12Speaker 8: Almost two hours, and trust me, I don't read very fast.
- 14:16Speaker 8: But it reads at an unbelievable pace. It's so well written,
- 14:21Speaker 8: and of course it's so familiar because I fell a
- 14:22Speaker 8: little bit adjacent so much of the subject matter. But
- 14:25Speaker 8: it's eighteen chapters.
- 14:27Speaker 7: It's an impressive piece of work, two hundred and sixty
- 14:31Speaker 7: three or so pages.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Two So let's be clear what you just heard, Gavin
- 14:36Speaker 1: Newsom talking to white authors about a white book and
- 14:39Speaker 1: a white audience. He basically says, you know, I read
- 14:42Speaker 1: three hundred pages of your book in like two hours.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Now he's either a liar or a race pader, or
- 14:50Speaker 1: racist or all three of those things. Because when Gavin
- 14:53Speaker 1: Newsom goes and talks to a black crowd in Georgia,
- 14:58Speaker 1: this is what he says instead.
- 15:01Speaker 8: I'm not you know, I'm not trying to impress you.
- 15:04Speaker 8: I'm just trying to impress upon you. I'm like you,
- 15:08Speaker 8: I'm no better than you, you know.
- 15:11Speaker 6: I'm a nine sixty SAT guy. And you know, and
- 15:17Speaker 6: I'm not trying to offend anyone, you know, trying to
- 15:19Speaker 6: act all there if you got nine forty, but literally
- 15:24Speaker 6: a nine sixty SAT guy, I cannot You you've never
- 15:28Speaker 6: seen me read a speech. Because I cannot read a speech,
- 15:35Speaker 6: maybe the wrong business to be.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I'm like you to a black audience. I'm a nine
- 15:42Speaker 1: to sixty SAT guy. I can't read. So which one
- 15:48Speaker 1: is it?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Is it?
- 15:49Speaker 1: Are you the guy that can read a three hundred
- 15:51Speaker 1: page book in a couple hours? Are you the guy
- 15:55Speaker 1: that's stupid just like you? Of course, only referencing black
- 15:59Speaker 1: people in the audience. This is why it matters. We
- 16:04Speaker 1: live in a political culture where leaders are constantly telling
- 16:08Speaker 1: the country that language matters. Right, Gavin Newsom's one of those.
- 16:12Speaker 1: We're told that rhetoric matters. How do we know that?
- 16:15Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom has said it. Gavin Newsom has also said
- 16:18Speaker 1: that tone matters and the implication of the words you
- 16:22Speaker 1: use matter. Well, they're right, it does. So if that
- 16:27Speaker 1: standard applies to everyone else, why does it apply to
- 16:30Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom as well? Historically, by the way, linking race
- 16:34Speaker 1: and IQ has been part of a deeply offensive and
- 16:38Speaker 1: discredit argument. Yes, history makes comments like this, and we
- 16:43Speaker 1: expose them, especially sensitive and especially inappropriate comments, to remind
- 16:48Speaker 1: Americans of what racism actually is. And any elected official,
- 16:52Speaker 1: whether it's Republican or Democrat, they should know better, especially
- 16:56Speaker 1: in twenty twenty six. And to be clear, this is
- 16:59Speaker 1: not can It's a culture that I'm advocating for. This
- 17:02Speaker 1: is an elected official looking at a black audience saying
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm like you, I can't read, I'm dumb, I'm a
- 17:10Speaker 1: nine to sixty sat guy. Governor Gavin Newsom. Why is
- 17:15Speaker 1: he not being held accountable? Because he is seen as
- 17:19Speaker 1: being the guy that could be the Democrat's next president.
- 17:23Speaker 1: He's trying to present himself as polished, media savvy, forwardlooking
- 17:29Speaker 1: Democrat for the future. And that's why this story should
- 17:33Speaker 1: be so damaging, because if you've got a rich white
- 17:36Speaker 1: guy telling black people he's stupid like them, shouldn't that
- 17:39Speaker 1: disqualify him from being the president of the United States
- 17:42Speaker 1: of America. Now, Democrats are falling all over themselves to
- 17:47Speaker 1: protect Gavin Newsom. And the key simple question I have
- 17:50Speaker 1: is this, when is there going to be accountability when
- 17:54Speaker 1: someone on the left says something as racist as this.
- 17:58Speaker 1: When is there going to be a clear explanation from
- 18:00Speaker 1: Gavin Ussom about what he actually meant. Is there going
- 18:03Speaker 1: to be a clear apology from Gavenusom to the black
- 18:06Speaker 1: community for implying that they're dumb or that they can
- 18:09Speaker 1: only get a nine to sixty on their sat? Is
- 18:12Speaker 1: there going to be a clear acknowledgement that the phrasing
- 18:15Speaker 1: was at least at the bare minimum inappropriate. And the
- 18:19Speaker 1: sad part is, especially minority voters deserve clarity on this issue.
- 18:24Speaker 1: So where is the media? Why aren't they doing their job?
- 18:29Speaker 1: The bottom line on this is well pretty simple. If
- 18:32Speaker 1: it's a Democrat, the media will protect them at all costs.
- 18:37Speaker 1: There is no consistency. Are we going to be able
- 18:40Speaker 1: to hold public officials accountable for racially charged rhetoric? Then
- 18:45Speaker 1: we If we're going to do that, we got to
- 18:46Speaker 1: hold them all accountable, including the front runner of the
- 18:50Speaker 1: Democratic Party. I believe that no party should get a
- 18:53Speaker 1: pass when you say something like this. No governor should
- 18:56Speaker 1: get a pass if you say something like this, and
- 18:59Speaker 1: certainly no future presidential hopeful should get a pass if
- 19:05Speaker 1: saying something this racist on stage in front of a
- 19:07Speaker 1: black audience. America I want to believe is moved beyond
- 19:12Speaker 1: the ugly history of tying intellect to the color of
- 19:16Speaker 1: someone's skin. That kind of thinking has no place in
- 19:19Speaker 1: this country and certainly no place in modern politics for anyone.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And if leaders want to lecture the country about sensitivity
- 19:27Speaker 1: and standards, they better live by those same standard themselves.
- 19:32Speaker 1: That's not partisan, that's just straight up principle. President Donald
- 19:37Speaker 1: Trump declares an emergency to pay TSA agents at airports
- 19:43Speaker 1: as chaos is continuing to grip America. In my hometown,
- 19:48Speaker 1: the lines were over four hours long, forcing me, as
- 19:52Speaker 1: I'm doing this show right now, to drive out of
- 19:55Speaker 1: town to a meeting instead of flying. That's how bad
- 19:58Speaker 1: it really is. I'm not the only one that's frustrated
- 20:01Speaker 1: by this president's angry, and so is the Speaker of
- 20:05Speaker 1: the House, Mike Johnson. I've never seen in this mad
- 20:08Speaker 1: in public, red face and even banging his fists, banging
- 20:13Speaker 1: his fist on the lectern.
- 20:15Speaker 9: Is willing to fund all of the security and safety
- 20:18Speaker 9: of the American people. We cannot believe it's come to that,
- 20:21Speaker 9: but it has.
- 20:22Speaker 2: The Senate, will you put it on the floor.
- 20:24Speaker 9: We'll have to see, we have to solve the problem,
- 20:26Speaker 9: and it's very sad that Democrats are not interested in
- 20:29Speaker 9: doing that.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Yet, does that mean that you're not.
- 20:30Speaker 8: In favor of breaking the DHS funding bill apart just
- 20:33Speaker 8: funding TESSA, just funding FEMA having individual votes on this sect.
- 20:37Speaker 9: We have never been in favor of breaking the bill
- 20:39Speaker 9: up wide because it's one of the twelve separate appropriations bills.
- 20:43Speaker 9: That is the most basic function of Congress to fund
- 20:46Speaker 9: the government, and we did it in a by partisan
- 20:48Speaker 9: by camberal men. Remember, the contents of that bill were
- 20:52Speaker 9: decided upon earlier by Democrats until they decided to hold
- 20:56Speaker 9: the American people hostage in their long lines at the
- 20:59Speaker 9: airport and with the safety of everybody on the line,
- 21:02Speaker 9: to make a political point.
- 21:03Speaker 5: It is shameful.
- 21:05Speaker 9: There is no way for them to defend this to
- 21:07Speaker 9: the American people, and breaking it out is a I
- 21:10Speaker 9: think it puts an exclamation point on what they've tried
- 21:13Speaker 9: to do here. It's shameful. So many people have been
- 21:16Speaker 9: through so many hardships because of this nonsense, and what
- 21:18Speaker 9: we're concerned about is people may actually be hurt more
- 21:22Speaker 9: people harmed by criminal illegal aliens that are being protected
- 21:25Speaker 9: by the Democrat Party and we're sick.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Of and we're sick of it now. The President has
- 21:31Speaker 1: also had enough, and that is what made the President
- 21:34Speaker 1: step in and he did something that immediately grabbed headlines
- 21:38Speaker 1: across the country, declaring the situation at America's airport's a
- 21:43Speaker 1: national emergency and announcing that he will sign an order
- 21:48Speaker 1: to ensure that TSA agents get paid. Think about how
- 21:53Speaker 1: serious that actually is. We are now to point where
- 21:57Speaker 1: the President of the United States of America is saying
- 21:59Speaker 1: Congress has failed. The system is literally broken, and I'm
- 22:04Speaker 1: stepping in to fix it because it is now a
- 22:07Speaker 1: national emergency. Now. All of this stems from the prolonged
- 22:12Speaker 1: funding standoff in Washington, DC over the Department of Homeland Security,
- 22:16Speaker 1: as you heard Speaker Johnson say a moment ago. For
- 22:19Speaker 1: weeks now, lawmakers have been locked in that political battle,
- 22:23Speaker 1: holding America hostage. The Democratic leadership all of this around
- 22:28Speaker 1: them hating ICE agents and wanting to defund ice. The
- 22:32Speaker 1: President saying this at the White House as the reports
- 22:36Speaker 1: started to break that he decided to take matters into
- 22:39Speaker 1: his own hands to save the country yet again.
- 22:42Speaker 10: As the DHS shut down drags on, some Senate Republicans
- 22:46Speaker 10: are now reportedly asking the White House to declare a
- 22:48Speaker 10: national emergency to free up money and pay TSA workers
- 22:52Speaker 10: ahead of the spring break travel season.
- 22:55Speaker 2: We now on day forty one of the disgraceful Democrats
- 22:58Speaker 2: shutdown of Mark Wayne's department. Congratulations, he came into a department.
- 23:05Speaker 10: Down and there's no movement in sight.
- 23:07Speaker 7: Look, we are not going to fund ICE.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I just want to be clear on this.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Until we get some restrictions in place.
- 23:15Speaker 10: That's just a hard no for us, even as TSA
- 23:17Speaker 10: says airport wait times are now the longest in agency history.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Today in Houston, frustrating, Right, you show up five hours early,
- 23:25Speaker 4: you think you're there, and you go down to the basement,
- 23:28Speaker 4: work your way around baggage you claim to come up to,
- 23:30Speaker 4: then go outside and sweat to come back inside to
- 23:33Speaker 4: see more lines.
- 23:34Speaker 10: So far, nearly five hundred TSA officers have quit because
- 23:37Speaker 10: of unreliable pay as new Fox polls show nearly a
- 23:40Speaker 10: third of Americans twenty seven percent, are living paycheck to paycheck.
- 23:44Speaker 10: President Trump says Americans are mad at Congressional Democrats.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Well, I show it today on one of the shows
- 23:50Speaker 2: when they were interviewing people at the airport, and they're
- 23:52Speaker 2: actually hanging to be a tumor.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Now, the President's saying he's signing this executive order to
- 23:56Speaker 1: address the airport disruptions, announcing the move in a statement
- 24:00Speaker 1: on True Social framing the situation as nothing more than
- 24:04Speaker 1: a basic major national emergency. Quote. Because the Democrats have
- 24:10Speaker 1: recklessly created a true national crisis. I am using my
- 24:15Speaker 1: authorities under the law to protect our great country. Therefore,
- 24:19Speaker 1: I'm going to sign an order to immediately pay our
- 24:21Speaker 1: TSA agents in order to address the emergency situation. The
- 24:26Speaker 1: White House said, funding from legislation back by Trump will
- 24:30Speaker 1: be used to ensure TSA officers are paid during the disruption.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Quote not unlike actions taken during the first Democratic shutdown,
- 24:39Speaker 1: i e. Payments to troops. President Trump is determined that
- 24:42Speaker 1: Congressional Democrats have created an emergency situation that cannot be
- 24:47Speaker 1: allowed to continue, is what the White House Office of
- 24:49Speaker 1: Management and Budget Communications director said in a statement to
- 24:53Speaker 1: Fox News. Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen, praising the move,
- 24:58Speaker 1: writing on Acts that he wont to thank President Trump
- 25:01Speaker 1: for his leadership in finding a way to pay our
- 25:04Speaker 1: TSA officers to end this chaos. At our airports. These
- 25:09Speaker 1: hour long lines and thousands of Americans missing their flights
- 25:14Speaker 1: was all caused solely by the Democrats reckless DHS shutdown,
- 25:19Speaker 1: Mellan added, calling on Democrats to stop playing political games
- 25:23Speaker 1: with our national security and reopen the department.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Now.
- 25:27Speaker 1: This move comes as day forty one of this partial
- 25:31Speaker 1: government shutdown has disrupted the Transportation Security Administration, causing long
- 25:36Speaker 1: lines at airports nationwide. I'm going to standoff over DHS
- 25:40Speaker 1: funding and also the issue of immigration enforcement. President Trump
- 25:46Speaker 1: accusing Democrats of refusing to fund immigration enforcement and creating
- 25:50Speaker 1: the chaos on purpose as revenge, which is exactly what
- 25:55Speaker 1: we are witnessing from Democrats. They're saying, we don't want
- 25:59Speaker 1: any of these TSA agents there, and we don't want
- 26:02Speaker 1: ICE agents at all. And while the Democrats hold us hostage,
- 26:07Speaker 1: this is what's actually been happening in the real world.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Tens of thousands of TSA agents, the people responsible for
- 26:15Speaker 1: securing our airports. They have been working now without paychecks
- 26:19Speaker 1: for more than forty one days. Many of them have
- 26:22Speaker 1: been forced to call in sick, hundreds and hundreds have
- 26:26Speaker 1: quit all together, and across the country. Americans are now
- 26:30Speaker 1: feeling the pain that was all created by the Democrats.
- 26:35Speaker 1: The long lines, the missing fights, the security delays are
- 26:39Speaker 1: literally unlike anything we've ever seen in the history of
- 26:43Speaker 1: this country. At our airports and at some airports today,
- 26:47Speaker 1: wait times had surged to record levels. And that's not
- 26:51Speaker 1: just an inconvenience. The President now says, it's a national
- 26:55Speaker 1: security concern, because when airport security is stretched thin, when
- 27:00Speaker 1: staffing drops, when morale collapses, that's when vulnerabilities start to emerge.
- 27:05Speaker 1: And that's exactly what prompted President Trump to act, the
- 27:08Speaker 1: White House said in his statement, he made it clear
- 27:11Speaker 1: he believes this crisis was created because of political gridlock
- 27:16Speaker 1: in DC, and he had no other choice but to
- 27:20Speaker 1: use what he says are his legal authorities to step
- 27:22Speaker 1: in and restore the order. He also directed the Security
- 27:27Speaker 1: of Homeland Security to quote immediately pay the TSA agents,
- 27:31Speaker 1: meaning no delay, bypassing Congress in the process. Now, let's
- 27:37Speaker 1: be clear, this is not a typical move. Normally Congress
- 27:42Speaker 1: controls the purse strings. Funding federal workers without Congressional approval
- 27:46Speaker 1: is highly unusual, and Democrats more than likely are going
- 27:50Speaker 1: to sue. They're going to claim it raises serious legal questions,
- 27:54Speaker 1: and they're not just gonna want to debate it, they're
- 27:57Speaker 1: going to want to debate it in court. But from
- 28:00Speaker 1: Resident Trump's perspective, the argument seems to be simple. These
- 28:04Speaker 1: making to the American people, when national security is at risk,
- 28:08Speaker 1: actions cannot wait. And that's the framing that you're going
- 28:11Speaker 1: to hear more and more in the days to come.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Now many Americans are going to support the move. Polling
- 28:17Speaker 1: says that's exactly what leadership looks like, stepping in when
- 28:21Speaker 1: Washington fails. The majority of Americans are in favor of that,
- 28:25Speaker 1: and making sure critical workers are paid and preventing further
- 28:29Speaker 1: breakdowns in airport security. The majority of Americans overwhelmingly seem
- 28:34Speaker 1: to be in favor of that. Now the media, in critics, well,
- 28:39Speaker 1: they're already raising concerns about executive overreach of the president
- 28:43Speaker 1: and whether Trump has the authority to spend money without congress.
- 28:47Speaker 1: But while the debate plays out, one thing is clear.
- 28:50Speaker 1: The pressure is now squarely on the Democrats and lawmakers
- 28:55Speaker 1: to figure this out because the longer this standoff continues,
- 28:59Speaker 1: the worse the sequences become. And yes, we are talking
- 29:03Speaker 1: about airportant disruptions across the country. Thousands of federal workers
- 29:07Speaker 1: in financial distress are quitting altogether in a system that
- 29:11Speaker 1: millions of Americans rely on every single day, including our economy.
- 29:17Speaker 1: So now the question is what will happen next. Does
- 29:21Speaker 1: Congress finally reach a deal and fund the DHS, or
- 29:24Speaker 1: does this s emergency action become the new reality where
- 29:27Speaker 1: the executive branch is forced to step in when legislation
- 29:33Speaker 1: fails in Congress. Don't forget Share this podcast wherever you
