- 2:19Speaker 1: to understand how to provide a balanced life, of balanced relationship,
- 2:22Speaker 1: especially when you have kids in that relationship. One. He's

- 3:31Speaker 1: I want to step back for a minute on you
- 3:33Speaker 1: right quick. Uh. I was managing Steve Harvey from two thousand, Sten,
- 3:39Speaker 1: did you ever come to our radio station? Do we
- 3:41Speaker 1: have an interview you? Because I kind of feeling that
- 3:42Speaker 1: I met you before. I felt like I met you too,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I was saying that earlier. That's yes, I'm not sure.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure we did. I remember coming up to
- 3:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey show before definitely. Um. Yeah, because I was
- 3:54Speaker 1: executive producing, not handling all the town. I booked everybody
- 3:57Speaker 1: because I know I liked you when I because I
- 4:00Speaker 1: like that dude. I remember because I remember everybody when
- 4:02Speaker 1: I when I met him, and I always had a
- 4:04Speaker 1: good vibe for when I met you and uh and
- 4:06Speaker 1: then when they when they when they were talking about
- 4:08Speaker 1: the opportunity to bringing you guys on the show, I went,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I think I know what that dude, I think I
- 4:11Speaker 1: met him. Yeah, I believe, but I just can't remember
- 4:14Speaker 1: if I did it by myself or with a lot
- 4:16Speaker 1: because I actually went to Steve Harvey when he had
- 4:18Speaker 1: the radio show A couple of times. So yeah, that's right,
- 4:21Speaker 1: we've met then, because you could not have went to
- 4:23Speaker 1: the radio show and get past me. Yeah, but it's
- 4:28Speaker 1: all good. It's all good, Like they're just passing good
- 4:30Speaker 1: memories on the app because what I do with the
- 4:31Speaker 1: show man and this is a conversation, man, it's a
- 4:34Speaker 1: conversation about you're gonna talk about your book. We're gonna
- 4:36Speaker 1: talk about the journey, we're gonna talk about the relationship,
- 4:39Speaker 1: but more important to just talk about, you know, the
- 4:42Speaker 1: business side, and uh ada, get it right? Good god?
- 4:48Speaker 1: You know then you grew up whenever in the book
- 4:50Speaker 1: and said you grew up absolutely no junk food in
- 4:52Speaker 1: the house. Only friend. You got to be kidding me.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You got to be kidding. No, I'm not, No, I'm not.
- 4:58Speaker 1: My dad is u Well he was a rasta Rastafarian
- 5:02Speaker 1: that comes with an idol lifestyle. So it's like, you
- 5:06Speaker 1: don't need any dairy, any meat, um, any animal products.
- 5:10Speaker 1: So no, I used to snake and I used to
- 5:12Speaker 1: cheat outside. Yet fresh. So let me ask you this,
- 5:17Speaker 1: what is what do you classify as fresh food? This
- 5:20Speaker 1: is just an understand it okay, that's okay for me.
- 5:24Speaker 1: It consists of whole foods. So it's basically foods without
- 5:27Speaker 1: any preservative, antibiotics, and any artificial flavorings and coloring. So
- 5:34Speaker 1: it's just as clean eating. So it's basically, you know,
- 5:38Speaker 1: just clean eating without any extra whole food ingredients, you know, right.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You know it's really interesting that you know I am
- 5:46Speaker 1: the worst eater, you know, when I go out in
- 5:48Speaker 1: the team, I am. I'm gonna lie to you, you know,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but I love my life. There's nothing neat about my life. Okay,
- 5:53Speaker 1: well you're happy. I'm very happy. If you sit down
- 5:56Speaker 1: with me style, I will order or dessert before I
- 5:59Speaker 1: order my mail. I kid, you're not if they got
- 6:00Speaker 1: a banana splay it all, milkshake or Sunday, it will
- 6:04Speaker 1: come to my before you guys even order a meal.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And I'm cool with that. I'm I'm just lett y'all
- 6:11Speaker 1: know who you're talking to, you know, because y'all trying
- 6:13Speaker 1: to We're gonna build up. We're gonna build on that.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You know what you're saying. That's how I'm saying. That's
- 6:17Speaker 1: how I'm saying to you. You know, I don't want
- 6:19Speaker 1: to shock you. We're gonna build off because um, what's
- 6:22Speaker 1: your show is based on like you know what I mean,
- 6:24Speaker 1: the first far as uses for life in pharmacy for life,
- 6:28Speaker 1: like we have a slogan you could. You can have
- 6:30Speaker 1: all the money in the world, and I could be
- 6:34Speaker 1: dead broke if you ain't. If you're not healthy and
- 6:36Speaker 1: I'm healthy, I'm gonna enjoy my life. But you can.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Absolutely you could be financially wealthy. You could be the
- 6:42Speaker 1: richest guy in the world. But if you don't, if
- 6:44Speaker 1: you're not taking if you're not making that investment in
- 6:47Speaker 1: your temple, in your own body, you will not enjoy
- 6:50Speaker 1: that money as long as you should be able to
- 6:52Speaker 1: enjoy that money. And anything can happened to anybody on
- 6:55Speaker 1: any given day, but it's good to try to at
- 6:58Speaker 1: least practice how enjoy life and all the things you
- 7:02Speaker 1: can get out of life as much as you can.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And that starts with a just knowing what you put
- 7:06Speaker 1: in your body, like you know what I mean. That
- 7:07Speaker 1: starts with saying, Okay, I'm pretty sure when I see you,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you always look shocked. You know you look shop. I'm
- 7:17Speaker 1: pretty sure when you when you drive your car, you've
- 7:20Speaker 1: got the best gas and the best oil in your car,
- 7:23Speaker 1: Like you know what I mean, I'm pretty sure your
- 7:25Speaker 1: body as many you watch your body as many times
- 7:28Speaker 1: as day as you can, you have to care about
- 7:31Speaker 1: the inside of your body as well. So we we
- 7:33Speaker 1: just you know, um our job at Pharmacy for Life
- 7:36Speaker 1: and Juice for Life and it's the Stout family, and
- 7:40Speaker 1: it's just to tell people you gotta know what you
- 7:42Speaker 1: you gotta care about the inside as well as the outside.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You gotta you know, you know what you're putting on
- 7:47Speaker 1: your body, know what you're putting in your body. Um.
- 7:50Speaker 1: You know, especially at this time's win right now, you
- 7:52Speaker 1: have to you can't. You have to boost your immune
- 7:55Speaker 1: system and just watch what you eat. And you know
- 7:58Speaker 1: what I mean. And that's that's what That's where the
- 8:00Speaker 1: real health, the real the real wealth is in your health.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You know. It's really great. I was just gonna comment
- 8:08Speaker 1: on him because he's he's he's led meat, you know,
- 8:10Speaker 1: because because of the fact that you know, I'm an
- 8:16Speaker 1: interesting guy, you know, because I know my body. You know,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I know if I'm about to get sick, I know,
- 8:21Speaker 1: and I always tell people. And your message about knowing
- 8:24Speaker 1: your body is key. It's very key because because of
- 8:28Speaker 1: the fact that what I want to tell everybody is
- 8:31Speaker 1: that you know, I was a super baddy and I
- 8:34Speaker 1: haven't dropped off of my dessert yet. But now I
- 8:37Speaker 1: don't eat meat as much, you know, vegetables over huh.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You know. And I was just saying, and I don't
- 8:45Speaker 1: know why, team, I don't know why I've stopped. It's
- 8:49Speaker 1: just that it seems like my taste buds have changed.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I had to have a hamburger, I had to have
- 8:55Speaker 1: a steak. I had to have something meat in front
- 8:58Speaker 1: of me all the time. Now I'm comfortable with, you know,
- 9:02Speaker 1: brand Cereal. I'm comfortable with, you know, any type of
- 9:05Speaker 1: good vegetable, good salads. You know. Just yesterday, I ain't
- 9:09Speaker 1: even a nice frozen uh with the Waller Milt pineapple
- 9:14Speaker 1: banana with some juice smoothie made that, you know, that's
- 9:19Speaker 1: what that was my breakfast, you know. And so just
- 9:22Speaker 1: a random change, well you know that. That's why I'm
- 9:25Speaker 1: just talking that. That's why I love Styles. When he
- 9:27Speaker 1: bust me down, you know, because you know he was
- 9:29Speaker 1: you know, he was He's already he was shepherd to
- 9:31Speaker 1: me in the right direction. I'm just letting you guys know,
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out Why is this happening to me?
- 9:37Speaker 1: Because he's right, I'm not. I have no fear of dying.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I have no fear of dying, you know, because I
- 9:42Speaker 1: wake up every day. God gonna get me up. I
- 9:44Speaker 1: got an alarm clock. It's like my alarm clock goes
- 9:46Speaker 1: up at four o'clock. I got up. I swear to
- 9:49Speaker 1: you at three ft and nine. Okay, you know that's
- 9:53Speaker 1: just my that's that's my mind. You do it enough,
- 9:55Speaker 1: your minds is we'll get up and so and so.
- 9:58Speaker 1: When when he started talking, I start and laughing because
- 10:00Speaker 1: I go he's he's telling the truth. But I got
- 10:03Speaker 1: two experts on the phone. Who talks about juicing, who
- 10:07Speaker 1: talks about plant based wellness products. Why is ra Sean
- 10:10Speaker 1: McDonald suddenly making this shift in his eating habits? It
- 10:15Speaker 1: is because he just is this better quality out, that
- 10:18Speaker 1: better quality available for me to go the whole Foods
- 10:21Speaker 1: and all these different places where I go and get
- 10:23Speaker 1: products that are not in the feed by chemicals. What
- 10:27Speaker 1: do you what do you think that's making that shift
- 10:29Speaker 1: in me? Well, I that's why I'm asking you. I'm
- 10:32Speaker 1: actually curious. I don't know if it's just being you know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: in conversation or reading things or just deploring and just
- 10:38Speaker 1: wanting to change. So normally it's most people's diet changes
- 10:44Speaker 1: come from ailments, you know, or issues that they have
- 10:47Speaker 1: and then they feel inclined to change their diets, so,
- 10:50Speaker 1: you know, or just exposure or you know, just seeing
- 10:53Speaker 1: more of certain things of wanting to feel better. And
- 10:56Speaker 1: then after you eat and you know, taste and try
- 11:00Speaker 1: certain things, you notice how your body responds to it.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So I guess you, you know, actually want more of that.
- 11:05Speaker 1: So a lot of that sorts to happen. But I
- 11:08Speaker 1: don't really know your dynamic, like you know, why what
- 11:11Speaker 1: Maybe it's the good feeling that it's good feeling. It's
- 11:14Speaker 1: a good feeling. And I would tell you this. I
- 11:15Speaker 1: would tell you this in eighteen. I was I've been
- 11:18Speaker 1: doing the show since seventeen, and I want to thank
- 11:21Speaker 1: you both for doing my show. And Morris Chestnut had
- 11:23Speaker 1: a book out. It was called it was a fitness book,
- 11:26Speaker 1: and he had a and he had you could lose
- 11:29Speaker 1: ten pounds in ten days. And now you know, usually
- 11:33Speaker 1: when people come a watch, I'll read your books or
- 11:35Speaker 1: if you send me the tape I watched, what I
- 11:38Speaker 1: do not do is saying bag on interview, and so
- 11:42Speaker 1: so I said, you'll be cool, you know, let me
- 11:45Speaker 1: go and see if I can lose some weight. And
- 11:46Speaker 1: when you get on the radio, I would go, uh,
- 11:49Speaker 1: hey man, wait, well I lost nine pounds when you
- 11:53Speaker 1: got on that, and so I've lost sixteen pounds since then.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It's so it's so my my way right now. It's
- 12:01Speaker 1: like one ninety four okay, and uh one ninety four.
- 12:05Speaker 1: This just this, this stays around there. And so now
- 12:08Speaker 1: I don't even do wait anymore. I just do a
- 12:10Speaker 1: lot of stretching. I do. I eat. I eat this
- 12:14Speaker 1: good lifestyle that you guys are talking about, and I
- 12:17Speaker 1: just won't let everybody know that what you guys are
- 12:19Speaker 1: talking about has made me feel better, has my you know,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know, everything flows a lot better for me. I
- 12:27Speaker 1: drink a lot more water. Is that what you guys
- 12:29Speaker 1: are preaching, Because that's what you were saying. The initial
- 12:32Speaker 1: statement to me styles shud stop it, stop it. That's
- 12:35Speaker 1: all you do. Stop it, Yeah, because what you're saying,
- 12:39Speaker 1: what you're doing life and what you the time you
- 12:41Speaker 1: take out to do what you do, which is is
- 12:43Speaker 1: teach and have entrepreneurs on and young successful people and
- 12:48Speaker 1: older successful people, middle age successful people. So to preach
- 12:52Speaker 1: and us to push forward of success, you have to
- 12:55Speaker 1: want to be the best year you can be. So
- 12:58Speaker 1: you feel better with ian clean what you did. You
- 13:00Speaker 1: started the act of doing when you picked up that
- 13:03Speaker 1: book and you lost that ten pounds. That was the
- 13:05Speaker 1: act of you just talking about it, thinking about it,
- 13:09Speaker 1: or doing stuff. You started doing things. And once you
- 13:12Speaker 1: start doing things, and you start subconsciously and consciously either
- 13:16Speaker 1: or sometimes it's both. Sometimes it's one. Um you just
- 13:20Speaker 1: start really saying, hey, I like how I feel, I
- 13:22Speaker 1: like how I'm looking, or I like the fact you
- 13:25Speaker 1: know that my energy feels a certain way. And so
- 13:28Speaker 1: that act of doing leads you to keep one in
- 13:30Speaker 1: the search and do better. And that's what this whole
- 13:33Speaker 1: thing about wellness is about. It's not about being us
- 13:36Speaker 1: being goal rules are super knowledgeable people. It's about us
- 13:40Speaker 1: wanting our communities better. And that starts with feeling better.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Because once you feel better, or my wife feels better,
- 13:47Speaker 1: and you tell your wife and my wife tells me that,
- 13:50Speaker 1: we tell look a look at the teller on and uncle,
- 13:53Speaker 1: that leads to a healthier community all around and a
- 13:57Speaker 1: healthier dress besides you feeling healthy, you want people all
- 14:00Speaker 1: around you, so you just kind of want to spread
- 14:02Speaker 1: a word about feeling okay, like you know what I mean,
- 14:04Speaker 1: just bringing balance to your diet. It's not about us
- 14:07Speaker 1: going hey, don't eat this, don't eat that. I eat
- 14:11Speaker 1: all plants. But I'm gonna tell you first before you
- 14:14Speaker 1: do anything. Brother, I'm not gonna tell you just hop
- 14:16Speaker 1: both beefs, but I will tell you go to Whole
- 14:18Speaker 1: Foods and know where that beef is coming from. You know,
- 14:21Speaker 1: if it's grass fed, no, if it's not grass fed,
- 14:24Speaker 1: Like you know what I'm saying. If I ask you
- 14:25Speaker 1: a serious question, like okay, I'm comfortable with I know
- 14:29Speaker 1: my I'm going to Whole Foods. I'm gonna get my plants.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I didn't grow the plants myself, so the plants are
- 14:34Speaker 1: tampered with two so I gotta wash you. But I
- 14:36Speaker 1: feel safer with a tampered with plant than you do
- 14:39Speaker 1: with a tamper with cat or chickens. Like you know
- 14:42Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm pretty sure you would feel the
- 14:44Speaker 1: same way too. So it's just about one of the
- 14:47Speaker 1: best for yourself, because really, the what the wealthiest you
- 14:50Speaker 1: could be is being the best you you could be.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Because that energy will spread, your thoughts will get better,
- 14:54Speaker 1: your ideas will get better, You'll feel better. Man. And
- 14:58Speaker 1: that's it, man, thank yall man, I'm telling something that
- 15:01Speaker 1: this first, this first interview, we're gonna do too breaks.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It was just for Rushan McDonald. Thank you, thank you,
- 15:08Speaker 1: because you know the thing about it, when when I
- 15:09Speaker 1: bring people on the show, it's really about education for
- 15:13Speaker 1: me because I don't. I always tell people I wake
- 15:15Speaker 1: up dumb because that allows me to accept information and
- 15:18Speaker 1: it also inspires me to keep moving in this positive direction.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That's what you just did styles for me. You said, Rashan,
- 15:25Speaker 1: stop and I'm I'm gonna walk out of here with
- 15:28Speaker 1: that mentality. Stop to stop mentality because you're playing with
- 15:32Speaker 1: yourself now. You kind of you kind of like straddling
- 15:34Speaker 1: both fences. Here, brother, what you want you want to
- 15:37Speaker 1: eat the bad meat and then over here run over
- 15:40Speaker 1: and eat the good and drink the good smoothie. What
- 15:42Speaker 1: you want to do, brother, the good car on the car,
- 15:46Speaker 1: but over here, you know, and the meat or the
- 15:49Speaker 1: hot dog killing you. What you're doing, brother, what you're
- 15:51Speaker 1: doing brother? You know? And you know and that and
- 15:54Speaker 1: that and that's the wol tell me this because y'all
- 15:59Speaker 1: this is fantast I stick what I'm hearing on this call.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Do you guys do this a lot? I'm telling you
- 16:04Speaker 1: this is, this is magnificent. This is I'm talking about. Man.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Why I don't see a webinar on YouTube? Okay, we're
- 16:12Speaker 1: doing more things. We're just we're just actually starting to
- 16:14Speaker 1: circulate more so you can hear more of us. Come
- 16:18Speaker 1: on back and guess what it. Guess what? I guess what?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Please let me know so I can promote it also
- 16:23Speaker 1: in my social media because I'm telling you I'm wanted
- 16:26Speaker 1: these guys. I wanted them to know at all too. Okay,
- 16:31Speaker 1: I've had so much success in my life people can
- 16:33Speaker 1: come up with me and go, yeah, whatever, I can
- 16:35Speaker 1: do it. Whatever now styles he broke strong on me
- 16:39Speaker 1: early in his interview. Let me just let me just
- 16:41Speaker 1: see you know, he broke strong on me. Let me
- 16:43Speaker 1: tell you something, young man. Let me tell you something.
- 16:45Speaker 1: You need to calm down. You know you might you
- 16:47Speaker 1: might walk out that dude fall down and never get
- 16:50Speaker 1: up because you don't take care of your temple. That's
- 16:51Speaker 1: what he told me, and that he told me that's what.
- 16:56Speaker 1: But see, he didn't like. He didn't like. Let me
- 16:59Speaker 1: tell you something about what I love when people are gifted,
- 17:01Speaker 1: like he's gifted because he you know, he you know
- 17:05Speaker 1: he you know, because he's performed so many and crowds.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And it's beautiful when you're a performer because when you
- 17:10Speaker 1: walk on stage, you don't know who's out there, so
- 17:13Speaker 1: you have to shape people. You know, they bought the ticket,
- 17:15Speaker 1: but you know, if they had a bad day, a
- 17:17Speaker 1: good day, off day, you know, they may walk out
- 17:20Speaker 1: of their girlfriend sitting with him, don't want to be
- 17:22Speaker 1: with them. Both we're about to leave it. You don't
- 17:24Speaker 1: know what's going on. You're out there just performing. And
- 17:27Speaker 1: so when he comes on myself, he don't know me.
- 17:29Speaker 1: We talked about maybe we met two a couple of
- 17:31Speaker 1: times to do, but he took it upon himself, say look, brother,
- 17:34Speaker 1: you know so it's beyond the juices for life. It's
- 17:38Speaker 1: beyond farmer farmer for pharmacy for life. This is about
- 17:42Speaker 1: what you want to do with yourself. That's the message
- 17:44Speaker 1: that you guys are delivering. And that's the message I'm
- 17:47Speaker 1: taking when I wrap up this interview in this next break,
- 17:50Speaker 1: because you're channel on my point of view absolutely about
- 17:54Speaker 1: being your higher self. Styles. Thank you brother, you know
- 18:00Speaker 1: preacher styles, Decon decont. We will come back with more.
- 18:07Speaker 1: She has a great book. Go talk about a lot
- 18:09Speaker 1: more things in the next break. But like I said,
- 18:12Speaker 1: very few times, I've done over five interviews on money
- 18:14Speaker 1: Making Conversations, and I must admit someone might have been
- 18:17Speaker 1: the interviews that have changed my life. And this is
- 18:20Speaker 1: a segment that this affected me and I'm definitely gonna
- 18:23Speaker 1: take it home and tell my wife about it. You
- 18:25Speaker 1: guys appreciate you. Be right back with more money making conversations.

- 20:26Speaker 1: That's O T T E R dot Ai. Hi. This
- 20:30Speaker 1: is Sean McDonald. You know, this is money making conversation,
- 20:33Speaker 1: having a good time talking to individuals who are successful
- 20:36Speaker 1: individuals who had moments in their life where they were
- 20:38Speaker 1: frustrated trying to achieve their success. But more importantly, David,
- 20:43Speaker 1: they are achieving it. And when they achieve it, there's
- 20:45Speaker 1: no guarantees there's going to continue. That's where the hard
- 20:47Speaker 1: work comes in. And when I talk about entrepreneurship, I
- 20:50Speaker 1: talk about entertainment. I always tell people that because of
- 20:52Speaker 1: social media, everybody is is a brand. Now everybody is
- 20:56Speaker 1: an entrepreneur wants social media hit it. And so you
- 20:59Speaker 1: have to respect and you have to under and make
- 21:01Speaker 1: it relatable and understandable. That you have to understand that
- 21:05Speaker 1: what you present to people is what people are gonna define.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You ask styles, Come on now, now you came on
- 21:14Speaker 1: the show, this this book, The Eternal hike. Um, you
- 21:20Speaker 1: know the reel apologize. Yeah, okay, apologize. Um, tell me
- 21:28Speaker 1: about the book before we started asking questions. Okay, Well,
- 21:33Speaker 1: the book is a culmination of a lot um Our
- 21:38Speaker 1: daughter passed away in from suicide and um, that was
- 21:43Speaker 1: my firstborn. He styles this her stepdad. Um, so you know,
- 21:49Speaker 1: just that whole situation in itself and dealing with that
- 21:54Speaker 1: and trying to process the whole situation. For me, Um,
- 21:59Speaker 1: the best, the best way and the best outlet for
- 22:01Speaker 1: me was to to write it, to write it out.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And UM, you know, through that a lot of you know,
- 22:07Speaker 1: it's just a lot of self healing, a lot of
- 22:09Speaker 1: self understanding, a lot of self love. Again, just trying
- 22:13Speaker 1: to get to that higher self. So with that, you know, um,
- 22:17Speaker 1: being in a space of wanting to heal and be
- 22:21Speaker 1: open and honest and you know, get through it. So
- 22:25Speaker 1: you know, I'm gonna going to certain sections of the
- 22:27Speaker 1: book that that I just took a little lines out
- 22:29Speaker 1: and one of the first lines I grabbed was, I
- 22:32Speaker 1: am writing this book because you believe your story can
- 22:37Speaker 1: help others love themselves more. You can help them be
- 22:40Speaker 1: kind hearted to themselves and have more patience. Yeah, when
- 22:47Speaker 1: you when I when I read that statement, when you
- 22:49Speaker 1: say love themselves more, what do you mean when you
- 22:51Speaker 1: say that? Okay, well, and that there's a lot in
- 22:55Speaker 1: regard to that. Um, I don't think a lot of
- 22:59Speaker 1: people we take the time to understand how far they
- 23:02Speaker 1: come in life and how much how many obstacles that
- 23:06Speaker 1: they've actually you know, you know, trying from, and they
- 23:10Speaker 1: just you know, just they ourselves off and you know,
- 23:12Speaker 1: keep it, keep it moving for the most part. So
- 23:14Speaker 1: if you can just take some time to appreciate yourself,
- 23:17Speaker 1: how farts come, you can just kind of love yourself more.
- 23:21Speaker 1: For me, but that's how it works for me. Well,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I think I think that understanding. Yeah, I think it's
- 23:27Speaker 1: important that on this show that you both of you
- 23:31Speaker 1: guys have a defined voice, a very defining voice, and
- 23:35Speaker 1: vote for your very articulate and both of you guys
- 23:38Speaker 1: have had enough success in life to be having an
- 23:41Speaker 1: opinion and and share it. And that's what and that's
- 23:44Speaker 1: what I felt the book was sharing. That's why I'm
- 23:47Speaker 1: asking you different questions because I want to make sure
- 23:49Speaker 1: when you leave this interview that you understand that you
- 23:52Speaker 1: both are a blessing and you are a blessing in
- 23:55Speaker 1: with this book because thank you. Let'm just tell you why,
- 23:59Speaker 1: because of the fact that you know, even though I'm successful,
- 24:03Speaker 1: I will doubt myself because what happens is and Styles
- 24:06Speaker 1: can agree some sometimes you can't go to tell other
- 24:10Speaker 1: people moments of weakness. You can't tell other people. You
- 24:15Speaker 1: can't talk to people by failure because people look at
- 24:18Speaker 1: you different. They look at you different. You can't show
- 24:21Speaker 1: weakness when you're considered a success because people are looking
- 24:24Speaker 1: at you different. There treat you different. And so it's
- 24:27Speaker 1: sometimes that's the part where you you start questioning yourself
- 24:30Speaker 1: and you can question your every path and every decision,
- 24:34Speaker 1: and that's where you that's where the love part comes in.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And I took out of this book not only love yourself,
- 24:39Speaker 1: but have people around you that you're comfortable enough to
- 24:42Speaker 1: tell them when things aren't going good. Are you confused
- 24:45Speaker 1: by something? That is of the strongest takeaways that I
- 24:48Speaker 1: had this book. That's great, Yeah, and I agree. I
- 24:54Speaker 1: agree with that. As far as vulnerability part, that is
- 24:59Speaker 1: that is true because Styles actually said he said is
- 25:02Speaker 1: something he couldn't do himself. So hem he got Style
- 25:06Speaker 1: still be QUI man I got I was I was,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I was letting. I was actually just letting instead of win.
- 25:14Speaker 1: And I was thinking about it because it just put
- 25:16Speaker 1: me in a place because we we we as businessmen,
- 25:20Speaker 1: focus on business and family, you know, so reading from
- 25:23Speaker 1: reading a book for me, I also got to take
- 25:26Speaker 1: that out because even doing what with what we do
- 25:29Speaker 1: with juices for Life, pharmacy for life, music, reading the
- 25:33Speaker 1: book made me be able to accept being more vulnerable
- 25:38Speaker 1: to my past, you know, to the things that kind
- 25:41Speaker 1: of you know, carved me and maybe who I am
- 25:43Speaker 1: it maybe kind of look at myself more. And you know,
- 25:46Speaker 1: it shows to love somebody and be with them twenty
- 25:49Speaker 1: five years and I know how intelligent they are, but
- 25:53Speaker 1: to see their their work and their artwork make you
- 25:55Speaker 1: reflect on your own past was was something touching for me.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Especially the pault was saying, I couldn't really, I'm not
- 26:03Speaker 1: one just by nature to show weakness. So that a
- 26:06Speaker 1: book for how to be that open, and it showed
- 26:09Speaker 1: me that being open and accepting pain and accepting the
- 26:12Speaker 1: things that that hurt you really actually make you very
- 26:15Speaker 1: much stronger. Like you hear it. You hear it in philosophy,
- 26:19Speaker 1: coal movies, and you you hear the master tell the
- 26:21Speaker 1: student that, but to get it from your wife and
- 26:24Speaker 1: to actually see it done in person is it's more
- 26:27Speaker 1: eye open again especially with like I said, well, what
- 26:30Speaker 1: we do we believe in in wellness, like our brands
- 26:33Speaker 1: are wellness. So it was that's something that made me
- 26:36Speaker 1: more well. Like I think we think healing and food
- 26:39Speaker 1: and it's it's success and all of that is just
- 26:42Speaker 1: financial or with food wise, but we don't often deal
- 26:45Speaker 1: what I sold enough on a realistic level, like she said,
- 26:48Speaker 1: loving yourself enough to understand who you are, what you are,
- 26:52Speaker 1: what you've been through and ether like it pretty much
- 26:55Speaker 1: very it taught me a lot, especially with it being
- 26:57Speaker 1: my wife, you know, so that it was just odd
- 27:01Speaker 1: that I took the same thing that you took out
- 27:02Speaker 1: of it, and even more over to day and my wife,
- 27:04Speaker 1: you know, wow, this is the power couple I got
- 27:07Speaker 1: on the phone will be today articulating and defining, defining
- 27:11Speaker 1: the path that we all should go down. And so
- 27:13Speaker 1: when I when I look at uh, you know, I'm
- 27:16Speaker 1: writing a book. And it's interesting when you write a
- 27:19Speaker 1: book because you start remembering things that you had actually forgotten,
- 27:24Speaker 1: or you start remembering things that you don't have no value,
- 27:27Speaker 1: but it turns out to be important to other people.
- 27:31Speaker 1: You know, it's really crazy. It's really crazy when you
- 27:33Speaker 1: you know, when people start sitting down, they started to
- 27:35Speaker 1: ask you question. You go, oh yeah I did that.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh I forgot about that. But but that
- 27:41Speaker 1: part that you forgot about shaped you. Yeah. Yeah, and
- 27:48Speaker 1: it's really and and so when and so when I
- 27:51Speaker 1: started reading your book, it was like it was like
- 27:55Speaker 1: it was like we're gonna start at a traumatic moment
- 27:57Speaker 1: and then we're gonna we're gonna tell a story and
- 27:59Speaker 1: move forward. And it was such a beautiful journey for me.
- 28:04Speaker 1: You know, sixteen got your d d talk about your
- 28:07Speaker 1: boy Fred Mike. You know, even though you know sudden
- 28:11Speaker 1: when styles came in your life after after board friend
- 28:14Speaker 1: Mike went away, then he took it on responsibility when
- 28:17Speaker 1: he called him dad, when she called him daddy and uh,
- 28:20Speaker 1: when she was six years old. That moment right there,
- 28:23Speaker 1: I thought, because it was written in the book, was
- 28:26Speaker 1: an important moment in both the relationship. But how did
- 28:29Speaker 1: it impact your styles? When she called you daddy? Um,
- 28:34Speaker 1: it was beautiful, it was it was shocking because you've
- 28:38Speaker 1: been calling you David all the way up to that
- 28:40Speaker 1: point a long time coming. It was a long time coming.
- 28:43Speaker 1: It was um was it was a beautiful thing. I
- 28:46Speaker 1: think when um, when you when you step into a
- 28:50Speaker 1: child lifeful a woman with a child already, it's a
- 28:54Speaker 1: fine line you have to walk, especially you know there's
- 28:57Speaker 1: a lot of things involved, um and you want to
- 29:00Speaker 1: you know me, I've had a step father before us.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I know how it feels like, you know what I mean.
- 29:05Speaker 1: So I just always wanted to be cool, let her
- 29:08Speaker 1: know that she has so in there as a parent
- 29:10Speaker 1: that loves us. But that's not stepping boundaries and just
- 29:14Speaker 1: it's forcing forcing the way. So for me it was
- 29:18Speaker 1: successful because it was the opposite of what I had
- 29:20Speaker 1: always seen and always seen done, and it was approach.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I think it was beautiful for me as a young
- 29:27Speaker 1: father and uh young fiancee husband to be because um,
- 29:33Speaker 1: the real, the real truth of it is, we would
- 29:35Speaker 1: we would We would both compare how we grew up
- 29:38Speaker 1: to the things we thought were good, the things we
- 29:40Speaker 1: thought were bad, things we thought we shouldn't do and
- 29:43Speaker 1: we should do, and things we said we would do
- 29:45Speaker 1: totally different because how it made us feeling. So that
- 29:49Speaker 1: was one of them, and it worked out to be
- 29:51Speaker 1: beautiful and successful and we had a super dobon like
- 29:56Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And and that's what I'm
- 29:59Speaker 1: saying is just moments like that that I kept pulling out,
- 30:02Speaker 1: you know, in the in the in the book. You know,
- 30:06Speaker 1: you know, I thought it was a great moment when
- 30:07Speaker 1: you talking about how your dad said get out, get out,
- 30:11Speaker 1: you know, and you know, because that was just that's
- 30:13Speaker 1: that's a dad. That's a dad saying, hey, you know
- 30:16Speaker 1: you want to be grown. I'm gonna show you grown.
- 30:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you grown. Yeah. Um, you know a
- 30:23Speaker 1: lot of things and they are relevant. Certain things are
- 30:26Speaker 1: relevant to others, you know, more than others. Um. Because
- 30:29Speaker 1: to me, just even reflecting back on it, that that
- 30:32Speaker 1: that a little six year old thing was huge in
- 30:34Speaker 1: my life in terms of her calling you know him daddy.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But you know, to a lot of people is probably irrelevant,
- 30:40Speaker 1: but it is a real kind of significant point. You know,
- 30:43Speaker 1: it is very very significant, especially as um first step dad,
- 30:48Speaker 1: especially for me, you know so too. That's why it
- 30:52Speaker 1: was written. You know, It's it's all about you know,
- 30:57Speaker 1: emotional growth, physical growth, financial growth, and wonder line that
- 31:02Speaker 1: stood out for me was like well, you know, a
- 31:04Speaker 1: man's styles started growing his profile as a writer. He
- 31:07Speaker 1: went from bad boy money to rough ride of money.
- 31:10Speaker 1: It was coming in left and right. And you know,
- 31:15Speaker 1: if people don't understand money, you know, we especially the entertainment,
- 31:19Speaker 1: money comes in ways. You know, it might not be
- 31:22Speaker 1: that steady check now what you because being entrepreneurs you
- 31:26Speaker 1: can expect steadiness. But in entertainment, you know, big check
- 31:31Speaker 1: five hunt thou dollars, million dollars to million dollars can
- 31:33Speaker 1: come your way and guess what, maybe six months later
- 31:37Speaker 1: another check may not come or or smaller, much smaller
- 31:40Speaker 1: check comes and so when it comes in, sometimes you
- 31:43Speaker 1: don't know what to do with the money, but spend it.
- 31:47Speaker 1: How did you because I remember I had I had.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I was leasing the uh G, I was leasing the
- 31:53Speaker 1: cl or Mercedesy, I was leasing like three cars then
- 31:57Speaker 1: because I because I could lease him, because I was
- 32:00Speaker 1: making that kind of money. How did you jump? And
- 32:03Speaker 1: I was much older than you guys, y'all were young.
- 32:07Speaker 1: How did y'all translate that ability to mature with your
- 32:11Speaker 1: money and move forward? Because one of the things you
- 32:14Speaker 1: did was by a townhouse. It's three bare room, three
- 32:16Speaker 1: bad townhouse. Were one of the best investments you made
- 32:19Speaker 1: early on. But tell us about the journey into the
- 32:22Speaker 1: money and evolving as young adults. Okay, well that was
- 32:27Speaker 1: one of our first I guess our wisest person purchases
- 32:32Speaker 1: townhouse because before then, and in between then and all
- 32:36Speaker 1: around then were screwed up. Okay, with a lot of
- 32:38Speaker 1: a lot of messing up, a lot of trial and error.
- 32:40Speaker 1: We learned from and um, you know, because it's not
- 32:43Speaker 1: it fluctuates the money. It's not really consistent in terms
- 32:46Speaker 1: of in the business, you know. It's yeah, and that's
- 32:50Speaker 1: part of what, you know, why we actually started the
- 32:55Speaker 1: other businesses because we needed more consistency, you know. So, um,
- 33:01Speaker 1: just taking advantage of your brain, taking advant of brain.
- 33:03Speaker 1: So let's let's look. I don't want to shift I
- 33:06Speaker 1: want to shift the book out a little because I
- 33:07Speaker 1: definitely want to give a little bit of attention to
- 33:09Speaker 1: the Juices for Life and the Farmer Force for Life,
- 33:11Speaker 1: because these are not oneerstand locations. These guys are in
- 33:14Speaker 1: multiple locations. Talk to us a little bit about that,
- 33:17Speaker 1: and I go I ride styles with Jusice for Life,
- 33:20Speaker 1: and now I come back with you with Farmer for
- 33:23Speaker 1: pharmacy for life. As you say, it's about full got you,
- 33:31Speaker 1: so tell us about juices for lifestyles. Juice for life man.
- 33:35Speaker 1: We um, we like chance for healthy folks, like you
- 33:38Speaker 1: know what I mean. We just started to bring up,
- 33:40Speaker 1: Um we have four locations in the job God willingly,
- 33:44Speaker 1: um will have a location in every state one day. Congratulations. Um.
- 33:48Speaker 1: We just we just we just wanted to bring something
- 33:50Speaker 1: to to the neighborhoods that we knew a food desert
- 33:54Speaker 1: as they say, you know, um, when you come from
- 33:57Speaker 1: our background where you see just looking stores, training these
- 34:00Speaker 1: food stores, fast food stores, and we just wanted to
- 34:03Speaker 1: provide something that people could come in and get some balance,
- 34:06Speaker 1: touch back to their roots. Things. You know your mom
- 34:08Speaker 1: told you apple day keeps the doctor away. You know,
- 34:11Speaker 1: always eat the eat the veggies on your plate. So
- 34:14Speaker 1: those are things we felt we're lost within our community.
- 34:17Speaker 1: So we felt like it would be just smart for
- 34:20Speaker 1: us to show people away because people are often you know, um,
- 34:24Speaker 1: like you say, we like nice things, man, like we
- 34:26Speaker 1: we love I love nice stuff. Yeah, I love nice stuff.
- 34:32Speaker 1: But being a wrap that, we started noticing that people,
- 34:36Speaker 1: you know, they tend to look at music, they tend
- 34:38Speaker 1: to look at Instagram social media and not really pay
- 34:41Speaker 1: attention to the inside of their body. And we like
- 34:44Speaker 1: nice things. So we want to kind of live as
- 34:46Speaker 1: long as we can, and we want to prevent things
- 34:49Speaker 1: that you know, Black people don't go to the doctor
- 34:51Speaker 1: and get enough insurance in the hood. So we just
- 34:53Speaker 1: wanted to provide somethinghere go, hey, it's preventative measures. Uh,
- 34:58Speaker 1: ask some balancing in life m hm um, and you
- 35:02Speaker 1: could come sit down and meet with different people from
- 35:04Speaker 1: different communities around the neighborhood and have a good talk
- 35:09Speaker 1: over something healthy like you know. So that was our
- 35:12Speaker 1: goal and we've accomplished it, and we got a lot
- 35:14Speaker 1: more to do, a lot more accomplished than to do,
- 35:17Speaker 1: and by the grace of that, I will get it done.
- 35:18Speaker 1: And if not those we hope we lay out enough
- 35:22Speaker 1: blueprint for people who are don't following and just take
- 35:25Speaker 1: it after. It's amazing the good your turn. Yeah, that's okay.
- 35:35Speaker 1: It's the pharmacy for Life. So that pharmacy with an
- 35:38Speaker 1: app's basically just Juici Life sister company, um, basically the
- 35:44Speaker 1: same same method. But what we're trying to do is
- 35:49Speaker 1: basically there's a lot of people that don't have health
- 35:51Speaker 1: insurance and we're aware of that. Um, we try to
- 35:54Speaker 1: cater to those people. We try to cater to uh
- 35:57Speaker 1: the how should I say, Well, I don't want to
- 36:04Speaker 1: say it's just like that. But anyway, people that don't
- 36:09Speaker 1: articulate this whole interview interview to talk about that company,
- 36:14Speaker 1: she stepped off. Now he's stepped on, sped off. Um.
- 36:19Speaker 1: But basically, yeah, Pharmacy for Life is just you know,
- 36:21Speaker 1: since their company. We have vitamins, we have supplements, we
- 36:24Speaker 1: have we have basically to keep your immune system together strong.
- 36:33Speaker 1: We have you know, we have bladder rock root, we
- 36:37Speaker 1: have black seed oil, we have female we have Bouertops supplements.
- 36:42Speaker 1: A lot more of coming, a lot more coming. You know,
- 36:45Speaker 1: I really want to Um, you know, I have a
- 36:48Speaker 1: twenty two year daughter and I'm going to drifting back
- 36:51Speaker 1: to the book now because I definitely want to let
- 36:54Speaker 1: you know how that book affected me. Okay, I'm gonna
- 36:59Speaker 1: slow down and in here so you know, and you know,
- 37:06Speaker 1: the nightmare is that I would have to bury her.
- 37:11Speaker 1: And that's a nightmare that both you two have experienced.
- 37:17Speaker 1: And that's a nightmare that I felt emotionally when I
- 37:21Speaker 1: read the book, especially when I was able to read
- 37:23Speaker 1: about your journey, because like it's like it started, it started.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Each chapter was a growth, an experience, how she grew,
- 37:30Speaker 1: how she lived, what she she was, beautiful, she was,
- 37:34Speaker 1: she was popular, she was always active. People always were
- 37:38Speaker 1: coming to her, you know, So no signals, no signs
- 37:47Speaker 1: when you wrote this book. The ultimate message was we
- 37:52Speaker 1: talked about in the beginning, and I'm just telling you
- 37:54Speaker 1: how I feel. Um. I try to talk to my daughter. Uh.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I try to not cut off. And when you know,
- 38:02Speaker 1: when when we have a business mean I can be
- 38:04Speaker 1: on the call with a with a client and her
- 38:07Speaker 1: number comes through our answer. I've always done that because
- 38:11Speaker 1: I've raised her on the I've raised her. My mom
- 38:14Speaker 1: was raised her. I've raised her on the phone. Okay,
- 38:16Speaker 1: I I have some clips that I want to give
- 38:19Speaker 1: her one day when when she used to just call
- 38:22Speaker 1: lead notes when she was four or five and six
- 38:24Speaker 1: on the phone. I kept them. I kept there the messages.
- 38:28Speaker 1: So I know the impact of a loss, but a
- 38:32Speaker 1: bigger impact of your children and you burying im and
- 38:36Speaker 1: the what else. And one of the things that you
- 38:38Speaker 1: said earlier early on was that you didn't want the
- 38:41Speaker 1: drama or the trauma to slow your growth. Yes, Um, basically,
- 38:49Speaker 1: what I mean by that is that's such a a shot,
- 38:54Speaker 1: you know, that's such a big heavy blow. And from
- 38:58Speaker 1: what I've seen from you know, past you know experiences
- 39:01Speaker 1: and and just you know other situations that it's it's
- 39:04Speaker 1: really cycling. It can really be that much that people
- 39:07Speaker 1: cannot move forward. And I mean, and that's how I
- 39:10Speaker 1: felt initially when it happened. I did feel that's how
- 39:13Speaker 1: heavy it was. I felt like there was just no tomorrow,
- 39:16Speaker 1: there was no moving forward. Um. But I'm very I'm
- 39:19Speaker 1: also very spiritual, so just in doing some deep work
- 39:24Speaker 1: and trying to have a real great will to want
- 39:27Speaker 1: to move forward, and knowing that this situation was there
- 39:31Speaker 1: to kind of break me into something else. I don't
- 39:34Speaker 1: want to say be broken broken into something else, you know. Um,
- 39:38Speaker 1: I kind of used that, and knowing that I've had
- 39:41Speaker 1: other experiences not as bad, but that will be most
- 39:44Speaker 1: likely the worst. But I just know, like I have
- 39:47Speaker 1: to keep moving forward. It's just that I just I cannot, Um,
- 39:51Speaker 1: I can't stop, and all those things, you know. Book
- 39:58Speaker 1: described to unbreakable ball between mother and daughter on side
- 40:01Speaker 1: note that they didn't over stand. You guys are working
- 40:04Speaker 1: on a vegan cooking show. Yeah, we have a couple
- 40:08Speaker 1: of things going on in regards to that. Um, I've
- 40:10Speaker 1: been telling about that. Yeah, I was getting to that.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I was waiting for us shows out. You know, he's
- 40:16Speaker 1: just a sideline. He's like a guy. You go, hey, mate,
- 40:18Speaker 1: go in there, attack on somebody. Going in there, they running,
- 40:23Speaker 1: they plays, Let's go talk on somebody. Yeah. We um.
- 40:29Speaker 1: We're working on a podcast, a vegan couch show. Also,
- 40:32Speaker 1: we're working on a few other shows. But we're keeping
- 40:35Speaker 1: in mind of what's actually happening in the world today
- 40:38Speaker 1: with the coronavirus making show. We take our time. They'd
- 40:41Speaker 1: be mindful, stay healthy, playing it out right. So um,
- 40:46Speaker 1: we would have been shooting already, but we we you know,
- 40:49Speaker 1: postponed just to be smart, just to be safe, just
- 40:52Speaker 1: to follow the dial lines that we need to follow.
- 40:54Speaker 1: But we have a few things coming we Um. We
- 40:57Speaker 1: have a Locks album coming out. Congratulations, Yeah, that's coming out.
- 41:02Speaker 1: That should be that should be out five fifteen. Um,
- 41:07Speaker 1: send me some white and I gotta bring your followers
- 41:09Speaker 1: on that stop. Please send me some banners, some some
- 41:13Speaker 1: drops so I can promote it for you. Okay, yeah
- 41:16Speaker 1: for sure. Um uh, she's in on my nude, my
- 41:20Speaker 1: next solo album over here. You know what I mean.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I'm almost I'm almost wrapped up with that. Um. We're
- 41:28Speaker 1: also going to be working on another book, but we're
- 41:30Speaker 1: gonna get that. We're gonna get the cookbook out first,
- 41:32Speaker 1: and then she she has some she had some workers
- 41:35Speaker 1: store for you. We don't like to lay all out
- 41:37Speaker 1: through too much, we like, but I got to talk
- 41:40Speaker 1: to you about this before I go down. In your credits,
- 41:43Speaker 1: it said celebrity baker. Yeah, I can talk to you
- 41:47Speaker 1: about that. Yeah, yeah, work, she's hold hold up, not
- 42:00Speaker 1: out now. Don't don't be like running over me like
- 42:02Speaker 1: I'm I'm sliced bread over here. Bro. You know what
- 42:05Speaker 1: I'm saying. I don't talk. I don't bring up that
- 42:07Speaker 1: talk unless I got some juice. But I had my day.
- 42:10Speaker 1: But I gotta slow down. You're about to run over me,
- 42:19Speaker 1: you know. But you're gonna see that being in cookbook
- 42:22Speaker 1: come out from US plant based cookbook. And when we
- 42:25Speaker 1: do do the cookbook to old, we will not forget
- 42:27Speaker 1: regularly eaters. We will. You don't just jump into veganism
- 42:31Speaker 1: and plant based people who have health issues where they
- 42:33Speaker 1: can't actually do that. Some people don't know just how
- 42:36Speaker 1: to do things. We're not God. We can't say how
- 42:38Speaker 1: everybody's supposed to eat. So we'll also just be providing
- 42:41Speaker 1: something clean for you to eat if your meat, either
- 42:44Speaker 1: alternatives or we'll just try to guide you to say, hey,
- 42:47Speaker 1: if you're gonna eat meat, this is the best thing
- 42:49Speaker 1: you could do. But my wife, her hands are marvelous.
- 42:52Speaker 1: He's an excellent writer, excellent excellent chef. Will you will
- 42:58Speaker 1: you be crying? Let your other pot a part of
- 43:00Speaker 1: the couple talk. Hype man. He a hype man. This
- 43:06Speaker 1: is why I married him. Let him go on. You
- 43:10Speaker 1: got a hype man for as a baker. I can't
- 43:13Speaker 1: believe this. That's that's the first time in history that
- 43:16Speaker 1: I'm baker had a hype man class delivery guy. But
- 43:21Speaker 1: but the legendary hype man though, that's the that's the
- 43:24Speaker 1: crazy part about it, because he's just throwing out that love,
- 43:28Speaker 1: he throwing out that greatness. He thought. But before we go, now,
- 43:32Speaker 1: you see you got when you guys deliver this this
- 43:36Speaker 1: cookbook or this vegan book or the cookbook or whatever,
- 43:40Speaker 1: you gotta send it to me like a couple of
- 43:42Speaker 1: weeks in advance so I can make some of them.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Did I want to post and when y'all come on
- 43:47Speaker 1: the show, I can talk about my baking experience, my
- 43:51Speaker 1: cooking experience with it. You feel me, absolutely yes, because
- 43:56Speaker 1: because I'm really authentic about stuff like this, I really
- 43:59Speaker 1: want to be able to have a conversation. Come on, now,
- 44:03Speaker 1: come on, now see see what I know. As soon
- 44:05Speaker 1: as this this pandemic and you too, crazy people gonna
- 44:09Speaker 1: see me. I'm just sorry. You know that. You know
- 44:14Speaker 1: that already. Y'all both know that already because the fact
- 44:17Speaker 1: that I have I have been y'all have taken me
- 44:20Speaker 1: on a personal journey emotionally and and and and when
- 44:25Speaker 1: I go home, won't go I always kiss my daughter
- 44:28Speaker 1: on the cheek, I always hug, have a sit down
- 44:30Speaker 1: and watch TV with me a little bit whole or
- 44:34Speaker 1: even closer than I feel I've already hold I've already
- 44:37Speaker 1: held her and will continue to hold on and support.
- 44:40Speaker 1: But more importantly, what I hear in this interview, you
- 44:44Speaker 1: you overcome and living a tragic situation. There's love, there's happiness,
- 44:50Speaker 1: as enthusiasm, that's still laughter in that home. That is
- 44:55Speaker 1: what That is what I take away and I want
- 44:58Speaker 1: to thank you guys. You know, I know we were
- 45:00Speaker 1: stepping around trying to get this interview. You called and
