That light is not to be hidden or extinguished. Rather the Gospel of Mark recalls Jesus saying that our lamps should be put on a stand so that everyone in the house might have light. Believe that you are a worthwhile person no matter how much the world may tell you otherwise. Don’t hide your gifts or take them for granted.
