- 0:26Speaker 5: To I don't Joy, Yeah, Joy.
- 0:58Speaker 3: You don't you love?
- 1:06Speaker 6: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 7: Can't You got to turn the mouth turn?
- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn mouth turn, mount the word
- 1:47Speaker 5: of the mony upo me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come out? You think that I sure will? Good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on digging
- 2:08Speaker 1: now on it only Steve Harley got a radio show
- 2:11Speaker 1: man instead of trying to be about the business. To y'all,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm doing all I can. But you know what's crazy
- 2:21Speaker 1: in the efforts that I make, I can do more.
- 2:26Speaker 1: When my father used to tell me something when I
- 2:28Speaker 1: was growing up, he says, son, when you've done your best,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and you've done all you can, sit still for a
- 2:39Speaker 1: second and just do a little bit more. Always remember that,
- 2:44Speaker 1: he said. When you've done the best you can and
- 2:47Speaker 1: you can done all you can think of, he say,
- 2:50Speaker 1: sit still for a minute and do some more. And
- 2:53Speaker 1: you know what I've discovered in my life, Always have
- 2:55Speaker 1: a little more. I ain't ever just out out completely.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I can't take another step. There ain't another breath in me.
- 3:04Speaker 1: The ain't another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
- 3:13Speaker 1: just do a little bit more. And I can't tell
- 3:16Speaker 1: you how many times that's helped me get over the top.
- 3:21Speaker 1: You know, I was watching a documentary about people climbing
- 3:24Speaker 1: Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount Everest was, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: how they have on the hill something called like a
- 3:32Speaker 1: death zone or a killing zone, where the majority of
- 3:35Speaker 1: people run out of oxygen and they have to turn back. Well,
- 3:40Speaker 1: what's crazy is it's right in view of the summit.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You can actually see the top of Mount Everest from there,
- 3:49Speaker 1: but it's that little bit that's left that's just most difficult. Now,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I forgot all the reasons why they said most people
- 3:56Speaker 1: don't make it from there, and more people have lost
- 3:59Speaker 1: their lives. And I don't know what it is, but
- 4:03Speaker 1: the people that make it to the top of Mount efforts.
- 4:08Speaker 1: They all had to go through that same zone of
- 4:10Speaker 1: that same area, but they had a little bit more
- 4:15Speaker 1: that allowed them to get to the top. You know,
- 4:18Speaker 1: a lot of people have had accidents up there trying that,
- 4:21Speaker 1: so I'm not even really sure if Mount Everest analogy
- 4:24Speaker 1: is a good one. But let's just break it down
- 4:27Speaker 1: a little bit more. Let's just talk about life. There's
- 4:31Speaker 1: a poem I learned back when I host pledging. It's
- 4:35Speaker 1: called don't Quit. It goes like this, if I make
- 4:38Speaker 1: a mistake, I'm just trying to drum it up, So
- 4:40Speaker 1: here we go. It says, when things go wrong, as
- 4:43Speaker 1: they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
- 4:48Speaker 1: when your funds are low and your debts are high,
- 4:52Speaker 1: when you want to smile, but you have to sidhe,
- 4:56Speaker 1: when cares are pressing you down a bit, resting you must,
- 5:01Speaker 1: but don't quit. For life is queer with his twisting turns,
- 5:06Speaker 1: as every one of us must sometimes learn. And many
- 5:09Speaker 1: a fellow has turned about when he might have won
- 5:13Speaker 1: had he stuck it out. So don't give up. Though
- 5:17Speaker 1: the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Often the gold is nearer than it seems to a
- 5:26Speaker 1: faint and a faltering man. And often the struggler has
- 5:31Speaker 1: given up when he might have captured the victor's cup,
- 5:35Speaker 1: And he learns too late, when the night came down,
- 5:38Speaker 1: how close he was to the golden crown. Success is
- 5:43Speaker 1: failure turned inside out. It's your silver tin of your
- 5:49Speaker 1: clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how close
- 5:53Speaker 1: you are. It may be nil when it seems afar.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So stick to the fight, and your hardest hit is
- 6:02Speaker 1: when things seem worse that you mustn't quit. I remember
- 6:07Speaker 1: it because I had a special method of helping you
- 6:09Speaker 1: remember stuff back then. But I remembered it, and that
- 6:13Speaker 1: point right there has kept me. You know, we often
- 6:16Speaker 1: talk about scripture and everything, and then I don't see
- 6:20Speaker 1: how I could live without it. But every now and then, man,
- 6:23Speaker 1: somebody has a writing. God puts a writing on somebody's
- 6:25Speaker 1: heart that delivers a message man that can help people.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 6:32Speaker 1: climb this letter of success or try to be the
- 6:35Speaker 1: best father and the best husband I can be. I've
- 6:37Speaker 1: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 6:39Speaker 1: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 6:43Speaker 1: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 6:46Speaker 1: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 6:50Speaker 1: at him, and a sharp little young dude just on
- 6:52Speaker 1: my set, and he had these dreads, and I mean
- 6:57Speaker 1: they was super long. Man, they will well below the
- 7:02Speaker 1: middle of his back. I mean, it was just long.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And he kept talking to me, and he kept talking
- 7:06Speaker 1: to me and talking to me. So young man kept
- 7:09Speaker 1: talking to me, and I said, hey, man, you know
- 7:11Speaker 1: you do huge self a favor in the business you're in.
- 7:14Speaker 1: If you got a haircut, you would do yourself a
- 7:17Speaker 1: huge favor. I said, your image is everything, man, I said,
- 7:20Speaker 1: you keep stopping me in the hallway to try to
- 7:22Speaker 1: tell me what you're doing, what you are, but all
- 7:24Speaker 1: I see is your hair. Now, I keep trying to
- 7:26Speaker 1: figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 7:31Speaker 1: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 7:36Speaker 1: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 7:38Speaker 1: you traveling with me and you sitting in a meeting
- 7:40Speaker 1: with me, I try to imagine you and your suit
- 7:43Speaker 1: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 7:46Speaker 1: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So I said, man, you ought to consider cutting your hair.
- 7:53Speaker 1: He said, Man, mister hobb, I've been growing his hair
- 7:56Speaker 1: side as a little boy. I said, how old are
- 7:58Speaker 1: you now? He said twenty eight? I said, well, how
- 8:01Speaker 1: long you want to hang on to what you was
- 8:03Speaker 1: when you was a little boy? You know, if you
- 8:05Speaker 1: started growing your hair when you're a teenager. I mean
- 8:07Speaker 1: you're twenty eight now. And I said, so, let me
- 8:10Speaker 1: help you understand something. Let me ask you something. What
- 8:13Speaker 1: does it do for you? He said, Man, it's just
- 8:16Speaker 1: who I am. I said, so you your hair? He said, no, No,
- 8:22Speaker 1: but it's a part of me. I say, that part
- 8:25Speaker 1: of you that you're hanging on to. What does it
- 8:27Speaker 1: do for you? I just like it? Well, dog, I
- 8:32Speaker 1: like ice cream, but I feed that. But if I
- 8:34Speaker 1: hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every single day,
- 8:37Speaker 1: my body gonna reflect that. What is it that you
- 8:41Speaker 1: hanging on to that you don't want to let go of?
- 8:44Speaker 1: That's prohibiting you from being what all you can be? See,
- 8:47Speaker 1: it's hard to be what all you can be if
- 8:49Speaker 1: you want to keep being all you was? Don't that
- 8:52Speaker 1: make sense to you? So I can't tell you how
- 8:56Speaker 1: many times I've had to change. Change is necessary to grow.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You can't be all you can be if you want
- 9:06Speaker 1: to keep hanging on to all you was. That don't
- 9:09Speaker 1: make no sense. How do you go forward? If you
- 9:13Speaker 1: keep going backwards. You can't stay here and go there.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Do you understand that if you want to go over there,
- 9:22Speaker 1: you must remove yourself from right here?
- 9:26Speaker 8: Oh?
- 9:27Speaker 1: I got right Here is comfortable, I got right here
- 9:30Speaker 1: is safe. But over there's where the shade is. Over
- 9:34Speaker 1: There's where the fruit is. Over there is where the
- 9:37Speaker 1: opportunity is. Over there is where the mountain of goal is.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So why you stuck on here? You got to leave
- 9:46Speaker 1: here to go over there. You can't be all you
- 9:49Speaker 1: can be if you want to stay stuck on who
- 9:52Speaker 1: you was. Change is growth is necessary. All let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:04Speaker 1: let me have it. What you want, Steve, you undivided attention,
- 10:08Speaker 1: But you're gonna do with it. I'm gonna share something
- 10:10Speaker 1: with you. What the news, well, Steve, get to it.
- 10:14Speaker 1: What is the news? Well? You ought to be grateful
- 10:17Speaker 1: this morning because you woke up, you got all your faculties,
- 10:21Speaker 1: you have a measure of health. God has given you
- 10:24Speaker 1: a new opportunity of a new day. That's a lot
- 10:26Speaker 1: of gratitude ought to be in here. Gratitude affects your attitude,
- 10:30Speaker 1: which turns into a direct correlation with your altitude today
- 10:36Speaker 1: in every way, every day, in every way, I'm getting
- 10:41Speaker 1: better and better. Man, oh man, oh man, Yes, I
- 10:45Speaker 1: am got me some love. What health I got? That's
- 10:48Speaker 1: just fine. I take it. God, it will issue here there,
- 10:51Speaker 1: but I'm working through it, getting bed at it. Man.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Let's go Steve Robin Martin show Shall Strawberry Colin for real,
- 10:58Speaker 1: mouth at the South Junior. The legend it is nephew
- 11:00Speaker 1: Tommy Junior. What is it today?
- 11:03Speaker 9: Yeah, let me talk to you man, because you know
- 11:05Speaker 9: you talked about last time we talked to that about discipline,
- 11:08Speaker 9: you know, having a distance but going along with that
- 11:11Speaker 9: or how has accountability play a role in this too?
- 11:13Speaker 10: On your journey the accountability factory.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Well, huh, that's an odd question because accountability varies from
- 11:25Speaker 1: person to person. I would imagine in trying to stay
- 11:29Speaker 1: with the question of accountability. See, I have reasons. I
- 11:38Speaker 1: don't know if I call it accountability, maybe you do.
- 11:41Speaker 1: But I have reasons that I exist, very pointed reasons.
- 11:46Speaker 1: My family, in the order of importance, I exist purely
- 11:53Speaker 1: because of my God. Second, my family. The third most
- 12:00Speaker 1: important thing after that is my relationships that I conform
- 12:07Speaker 1: to out life, and then fourth is my business. I
- 12:13Speaker 1: have very little time the older I get for foolishness
- 12:17Speaker 1: in between. Now I know how to enjoy myself golf,
- 12:21Speaker 1: cigar vacations. I have very little time for foolishness in between,
- 12:28Speaker 1: because I'm too close to the tape to mess up. Now.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm at a certain place on the wall. I've climbed
- 12:35Speaker 1: a certain level on the letter, and at this age
- 12:37Speaker 1: of sixty six, if I fall from this height, at
- 12:41Speaker 1: this age, I don't have time to repair it. See,
- 12:44Speaker 1: you can mess up. When you're thirty, you got time
- 12:47Speaker 1: to fix it. Thirty five you can fix it. Forty
- 12:49Speaker 1: you can fix it. You get up at that five
- 12:51Speaker 1: oh mark. You got to cut all this monkey business
- 12:53Speaker 1: down cause I don't know how you gonna keep fixing it.
- 12:57Speaker 1: You running out of time. Your energy level they used
- 13:00Speaker 1: to be, you understand. So I don't know what to
- 13:02Speaker 1: tell you. Yes, so God, family, relationships and business, that's it.
- 13:09Speaker 1: You don't fit in now. I really ain't got a
- 13:11Speaker 1: whole lot of time for you. Please stop dming me,
- 13:14Speaker 1: because I really don't know how to deals to people.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Do that for me, tell me you call me, but
- 13:19Speaker 1: very few people get returned. On the DM, waste of time.
- 13:22Speaker 10: To DM, it's important, especially.
- 13:27Speaker 1: As a grown man. All right, if I was single,
- 13:31Speaker 1: I would accept them anyway.
- 13:33Speaker 11: But on that note, coming up, in thirty two minutes
- 13:40Speaker 11: after the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he
- 13:42Speaker 11: runs that prank back.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 11: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. Life is unpredictable, but

- 14:24Speaker 11: Nephew is here to run that bring back, nephew, what
- 14:27Speaker 11: you got for us?
- 14:29Speaker 2: This right here is corporal punishment, Shirton, You understand, Yeah,
- 14:33Speaker 2: it's time.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It's time to bring it back. Let's go, cat dog.
- 14:36Speaker 12: Oh Hello, hello.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Hi, I'm I'm trying to reach it, mister Cotton.
- 14:43Speaker 12: Msmss Cotton.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Okay, can you turn your radio or TV down? I
- 14:47Speaker 2: can't really hear you.
- 14:48Speaker 12: Oh yes, sir, My.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Name is mister Lanson. I'm actually the new principal here
- 14:52Speaker 2: at middle school.
- 14:54Speaker 12: And what's the name again, mister Lanson?
- 14:57Speaker 2: Mister Lanson? Okay, your your son? He attends middle school here?
- 15:01Speaker 2: Am I correct?
- 15:02Speaker 13: Yes?
- 15:02Speaker 1: Sir?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Okay, good listen. I'm the new principal here. We've just
- 15:07Speaker 2: replaced the last principle and I'm actually calling around. What
- 15:10Speaker 2: I've done is when I before I got here, I
- 15:12Speaker 2: asked for a list of students that were you know,
- 15:16Speaker 2: I'm not going to say problem kids, but you know
- 15:18Speaker 2: that kind of get themselves in a little trouble here
- 15:20Speaker 2: and there. And your son's name happens to be on
- 15:23Speaker 2: the list.
- 15:24Speaker 12: Name is on that list.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yes, I got about I got about thirty five kids
- 15:28Speaker 2: that are actually on this list, and your son is
- 15:33Speaker 2: actually on the list, and you are, mister Cotton.
- 15:35Speaker 12: Correct I am, mister Cotton. I mean are you sure
- 15:38Speaker 12: you speaking about my son? Though?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's only there's only one on the list, sir.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I'm it's it's it's what's been given to me. And
- 15:47Speaker 2: what what I'm doing is calling around to all of
- 15:49Speaker 2: the parents of the kids that are on this list
- 15:52Speaker 2: and letting you guys know that I'm going to be
- 15:54Speaker 2: keeping a closed eye on them as well as letting
- 15:58Speaker 2: you know that I'm going to be reinstating corporal punishment
- 16:01Speaker 2: here in the school.
- 16:01Speaker 12: So so what's that.
- 16:04Speaker 2: That's actually where if your son gets sent to the office,
- 16:07Speaker 2: which is my office, then there will be paddling going on.
- 16:10Speaker 2: And opposed to I don't believe in I don't believe
- 16:13Speaker 2: in I don't believe in suspension. I believe in, you know,
- 16:17Speaker 2: if we spank these kids, we can get them back
- 16:19Speaker 2: in order.
- 16:19Speaker 1: So, sir, here's my thing.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I really truly believe that we get back to to
- 16:26Speaker 2: you know, and I don't mean what I'm about to
- 16:28Speaker 2: say to be harsh, but if we get back to beaten,
- 16:30Speaker 2: we'll get these kids back in order.
- 16:32Speaker 12: I mean, but I know he had troubled in English,
- 16:35Speaker 12: but I don't think that calls for beaten.
- 16:39Speaker 2: No, no, no, this has nothing to do with great sir.
- 16:41Speaker 2: This has to do with punishment. And what I'm understanding
- 16:43Speaker 2: is if your son is on my list, and if
- 16:45Speaker 2: your son comes down to my office. I'm going to
- 16:48Speaker 2: take care of it right then and there.
- 16:50Speaker 12: If my son come to your offer, you're gonna be
- 16:52Speaker 12: on my list.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Sir. I'm trying to get these kids back in order.
- 16:56Speaker 2: That's the reason why I've been brought in and I've
- 16:58Speaker 2: replaced the last principle you understand. So what I need
- 17:01Speaker 2: from you is to get a to get a great
- 17:03Speaker 2: understanding that if your child comes to my office, corporal
- 17:06Speaker 2: punishment will be what he's going to deal with.
- 17:09Speaker 12: Okay, I'll tell you what. Let my son come home
- 17:11Speaker 12: and tell me he got some corporal punishment, and the
- 17:14Speaker 12: next morning me and you're gonna do some corporal punishment.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Sir. Do you want your child in order or do
- 17:19Speaker 2: you want to be bailing his butt out of jail
- 17:20Speaker 2: at the age of eighteen.
- 17:21Speaker 12: They gonna be bailing me out of jail if you
- 17:23Speaker 12: put your hands on my son.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Okay, are you taking care of your son? Punishment wise?
- 17:28Speaker 1: At home?
- 17:29Speaker 12: You need to my son don't get in no trouble.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Okay, here's the problem, parents not believing that their children
- 17:38Speaker 2: get in any trouble.
- 17:39Speaker 1: That's the first part.
- 17:40Speaker 12: But I got email, I got a phone call, so
- 17:44Speaker 12: the first phone call I get is going straight down
- 17:46Speaker 12: whipping it. Ain't no letters sent home, ain't no email
- 17:48Speaker 12: sent home saying day it's a problem.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't, sir. I'll you know,
- 17:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna come down here.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you once again, I am not going
- 17:58Speaker 2: to have send your son into detention. I'm not gonna
- 18:01Speaker 2: call you. I'm gonna take care of my job. My
- 18:04Speaker 2: job is to make it.
- 18:05Speaker 12: I'm gonna take care of mine when you take care
- 18:06Speaker 12: of yours. I'm gonna take care of mine. And that
- 18:08Speaker 12: protect my son and you put your hands on him,
- 18:11Speaker 12: and we got a problem.
- 18:12Speaker 2: We're gonna have a problem because nine time, I'm telling you,
- 18:16Speaker 2: right now, I'm calling you and giving you the warning.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Your son will be dealt with, and you're gonna be
- 18:20Speaker 2: dealt with.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Will be dealt with on a regular basis if needs be.
- 18:24Speaker 12: You're gonna get dealt with on a regular But you're
- 18:26Speaker 12: gonna get tired.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Of seeing me, Okay, sir, Do I need to actually
- 18:29Speaker 2: have corporal punishment with you?
- 18:31Speaker 12: I tell you what, when you when you bring that
- 18:33Speaker 12: corporal punishment to me, you better have the police there
- 18:36Speaker 12: because they gonna need corporal punishment. They gonna need whatever,
- 18:39Speaker 12: hell they're gonna need to slot team. When I get
- 18:41Speaker 12: down and you put your hands on my son, I
- 18:43Speaker 12: know that all you know what.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Sir, Maybe maybe maybe the twipper needs to start with you.
- 18:50Speaker 12: Matter of fact, what time do you go to lunch?
- 18:52Speaker 12: If we can do this in front of the cafeteria and

- 21:45Speaker 15: after you mop? Power mop gives you a deeper clean
- 21:49Speaker 15: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops swift for
- 21:52Speaker 15: power mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 21:56Speaker 15: and hard to reach places like behind the toilet. Micro
- 22:00Speaker 15: scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny deep cleaning actions for results
- 22:05Speaker 15: that look, smell, and feel clean. No more dirty floors.

- 22:32Speaker 4: Does he want me or is he just hating?
- 22:35Speaker 11: What?
- 22:35Speaker 1: It's a little bit of both. You know, he dated
- 22:39Speaker 1: you in high school. He does have a memory, so
- 22:41Speaker 1: he wants you back, and it is hating and it's
- 22:44Speaker 1: being tot of territory. It's all of that. It's all
- 22:47Speaker 1: of it. He want you back, he's hating and he's
- 22:51Speaker 1: being territorial. That's all period. So what should she do?
- 22:56Speaker 1: I mean, what you want to do? You want to
- 22:57Speaker 1: date him? That's the question. You know, she really trying
- 23:01Speaker 1: to figure out, you know, is he hating? And you
- 23:03Speaker 1: know she's flattered by it really and she just trying
- 23:07Speaker 1: to figure out in her youth, is that what she

- 23:17Speaker 1: Try to remember the reason, all the reasons. All right,
- 23:22Speaker 1: them might be the same them, just older and.
- 23:27Speaker 4: At work, all right, Sharon and making rights.
- 23:30Speaker 11: I stopped by my husband's office tuesday to get his

- 56:49Speaker 4: Thank you nephew.
- 56:49Speaker 11: Subject tweetled d He's with me, Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 56:54Speaker 11: thirty eight years old, and I moved back to my
- 56:56Speaker 11: hometown to take care of my daddy. My eighteen year
- 56:59Speaker 11: old son lives more lived there temporarily to attend a
- 57:03Speaker 11: vocational school, and he's living with his daddy while he's there.
- 57:07Speaker 11: Before I moved back to town, my son's daddy was
- 57:10Speaker 11: begging me to stay with him and my son I
- 57:12Speaker 11: told him I'd rather stay with my dad because my
- 57:15Speaker 11: son told him that his dad has a crazy girlfriend
- 57:18Speaker 11: and she pops up at the house all the time.
- 57:21Speaker 11: I was expecting to have a lot of great sex
- 57:23Speaker 11: with my son's dad, because he is the best I've
- 57:26Speaker 11: ever had. Little did I know that the great sex
- 57:30Speaker 11: would come with so much unnecessary drama. As soon as
- 57:34Speaker 11: I got back to town, my son's dad wouldn't stop
- 57:37Speaker 11: sweating me. He begged me to go out on dates,
- 57:40Speaker 11: and he loves showing me off to all of his friends.
- 57:44Speaker 11: In the process of doing that, I guess he forgot
- 57:47Speaker 11: he had a girlfriend. I started getting harassed by an
- 57:50Speaker 11: older lady named Tish. I found out that she's like
- 57:53Speaker 11: twenty years older than us. She would follow us around
- 57:56Speaker 11: town and too much is happening nowadays, would love to try.
- 58:00Speaker 4: So I was scared of her.
- 58:02Speaker 11: It wasn't until she got smart with the cashier at
- 58:04Speaker 11: the grocery store one day and got her tail beat
- 58:07Speaker 11: that I realized she wasn't a threat. That's when I
- 58:11Speaker 11: started giving her the same energy she was giving me.
- 58:14Speaker 11: She posted a photo of me and my son's dad
- 58:17Speaker 11: on Facebook and captioned it tweedled d and tweedled dumb
- 58:21Speaker 11: because everyone calls me D. So I commented tweetl D
- 58:25Speaker 11: he's with me and it started a big mess. Now
- 58:29Speaker 11: all of her old friends are attacking me on Facebook greate.
- 58:33Speaker 11: Sex with my ex started a big mess with Tish
- 58:36Speaker 11: and them. How can I get these older ladies to chill?
- 58:41Speaker 12: Well?
- 58:42Speaker 4: How can you get these older ladies to chill?
- 58:44Speaker 11: You're probably not going to be able to get them
- 58:46Speaker 11: to chill because they don't have anything better to do.
- 58:49Speaker 11: I mean if they did, if they had a life,
- 58:51Speaker 11: they wouldn't be messing with you and harassing you. Tish
- 58:54Speaker 11: thinks you've stolen her man and she's got her girls
- 58:58Speaker 11: on board to help get you. You out of the way.
- 59:02Speaker 11: And what is with you and him anyway? I mean,
- 59:05Speaker 11: did he cheat on you? Like he's cheating on you
- 59:08Speaker 11: like he's cheating on Tish with you? Is that why
- 59:11Speaker 11: you guys broke up? I mean, do you still want him?
- 59:14Speaker 11: Orre you guys trying to get back together?
- 59:17Speaker 4: What is going on?
- 59:18Speaker 11: He's showing you off to his friends and taking you
- 59:20Speaker 11: on dates and stuff. Does he wants you to stay
- 59:23Speaker 11: at his house? I'm trying to figure this out. What
- 59:26Speaker 11: is going on with this relationship. It sounds like you
- 59:28Speaker 11: two get along outside of the great sex.
- 59:31Speaker 1: So what is it?
- 59:32Speaker 11: Because it sure sounds like more than just a sexual
- 59:35Speaker 11: relationship here. I mean, we need some answers. The problem
- 59:39Speaker 11: is you've got to decide if the great sex or
- 59:41Speaker 11: the best sex ever as you say, is worth all
- 59:44Speaker 11: the drama with Tish in them, because it doesn't sound
- 59:47Speaker 11: like Tish and the Golden Girls are going to stop
- 59:49Speaker 11: harassing you anytime soon.
- 59:52Speaker 4: So this is a decision you're going to have to make.
- 59:54Speaker 11: Either go over there and stay with him, or leave
- 59:57Speaker 11: him and just be with your daddy and mind your
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: own business.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Jeeve, Wow, you're thirty eight, moved back to your hometown.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Take care of your daddy. You got a son that's eighteen,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: lives with his daddy while he's there, and before you
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: move back, your son's daddy was begging you to stay
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: with him and your son. I told him I'd rather
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: stay with my dad because my son told me that
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: his dad has a crazy girlfriend and she pops up
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: at the house all the time. I finna tell you why.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I was expecting to have a lot of great sex
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: with my son's dad, because he's the best to ever had.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Little did I know that the great sex would come
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: with so much unnecessary drama. So as soon as you
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: got back to town, your son's daddy wouldn't stop sweating.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: You begged you out on dates, love showing you off
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: to all their friends. And then in the process he
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: forgot he had a girl. I started getting harassed by
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: older lady named Now, let's stop right here. First of all,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: her name is not Tish. It's not no when you're
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: older woman, see like she's probably like over fifty.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Yeah, she's twenty years older than them.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Oh so she at least fifty eight fifty eight? Right,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: God dog, Well, then her name is not Tish. Nobody
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: was named Tish back then. That was the nickname. Her
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: name to Shina. Her name is to Shina. So let's
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: get that straight right now. So already you have a
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: problem because you were dealing with somebody that was born
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: before nineteen seventy. Oh, I can't tell you what comes
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: with this now. It's a lot come with this girl.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: She's twenty years older than us. She follow us around
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: on town. Know, it's too much happening nowadays? She got
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: time to follow you around. She retired and she's retired.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: She following you around you in a love triangle, and
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: then you found out that she wasn't all that threatening you.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: You were scared of it. Then she got to put
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: by a cashier down at the grocery store. That's another
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: sign that you old in there fighting about coupons and everything.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: This see this was why are you fighting with the
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: cash Either you got the money or you don't some coupons,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: or she told you you had to put something back
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and you felt like you didn't have to, or she
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: asked for a price check and you said, I'm telling
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you right now is a dollar eighty, Well, we're gonna
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: do a price check. That's how you got in a
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: fight with the cash Here she owed she got these
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: coupons that y'all wouldn't give her that tooth for one.
- 1:03:00Speaker 11: Hang on, well, pa, well that part two of your
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: response coming up. At twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: subject tweetled d he's with me. We'll get back into
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: it right after this. You're listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 11: Winter is in full swing and a leave it's here
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: to keep you moving when the cold weather sets in.
- 1:03:27Speaker 11: Every day aches and pains can linger, but a leave's
- 1:03:30Speaker 11: got your back. With up to twelve hours of body
- 1:03:33Speaker 11: pain relief per dose, a leave keeps you going with
- 1:03:36Speaker 11: long lasting body pain relief to get you through whatever
- 1:03:40Speaker 11: the season brings. A leave gives you that long lasting
- 1:03:44Speaker 11: body pain relief you can count on this winter. Try
- 1:03:48Speaker 11: a leave use as directed for minor aches and pain.
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: The subject is tweetl d he's with.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Me thirty eight year old lady to mess round and
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: got involved with her ex that's the father of her child.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: She moving back in town to help her daddy out.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: He wanted her to move back in with them. He's
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: great sex, best she ever had. She was thinking about it,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: but her son called the one time and said, be careful.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: He got this crazy girlfriend to pop up all time.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: That's cause she retired so she ain't got to be
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: at work. You know, she go to bingo night and
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: then come over. You know she doing all this? Is
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: she old? She said in the letter. She's twenty years
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: older than us. So the woman is fifty eight and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: you say her name is Tish. I told you that's
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: not her name. If she's fifty eight, she was born
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: probably before nineteen seventy, would that be right? Yeah? Before? Yeah, So,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: ain't nobody named Tishoto. That's a nickname.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: But her name is to Shina, shut out, to to
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Shina arnold, to Shina and to is.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Up your back? Now you now you he's showing you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: off around town and everything, and he'd have forgot he
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: got this crazy girlfriend. She just started running up on you,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: threatening you and everything. And then you found out she
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: got in a fight at the grocery store and got
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: a who fights a cash here at a grocery store?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Old people? Oh and what do you fight at the
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: cash here? About coupon? Pool steal? Cutting out coupon? She
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: ain't got no app none of that. She's sitting them
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: in that news paper collecting him coupon. And they were
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: fighting with some Uncle Ben because Uncle Ben said, if
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: you buy one, you get one free. But her coupon
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: had expired, and she thought she well, she couldn't get
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: down here last week because she had to go pick
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: up her medicine. And you ought to understand that and
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: let her have this extra box of right, but you didn't,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: So to shea swung on it now a young girl
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: of what you have it and the young girl beat
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I asked about that uncle here right, So now now
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you don't start giving her the same mess she giving you.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: So anyway, She then posted a picture you and your
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: son's daddy on Facebook and captured dick, tweetl d and
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: tweeted dumb because everybody called me d so I commented,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: tweeted d he's with me and all that started a
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: big mess. Now all of her old friends are attacking
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: me on Facebook. And let me tell you something. You
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: up against something because old people on faithbook, they ain't
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: on Instagram, they ain't on TikTok. All people is on Facebook.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Now her old friends is attacking. So now Jared, Deine,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: in you, haul letter.
- 1:06:54Speaker 17: In you, when in you, Clara, the whole gang all
- 1:07:02Speaker 17: names too, Barbara, Betty, Susan names don't.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Nobody have no more? Nobody gives the girls head Charley
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: yeah yeah, so you know all these names right here.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: So now you done got into this old world. But
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: it's real simple to get out of it. You say,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: great sex with my ex started a big mess. And
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Tish nip with tishnick listen, that's that's Tishina, Juddine Tall Letter,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Gwynn and Clara four, nobody name of their baby parent, nobody.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: They sitting around, They going to bingo night. They they
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: in a quilt contest. They down there participating, participating in
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Bakoff's they doing. Uh, let me see what else they're doing. Oh,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: they play cards. Yeah, oh you know what they do now?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: But they play cards. Now, they play peanut. You don't
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: hardly nobody know how to play peanut anymore. They playing
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: peanutle and tunk. You got to be hood to play tunk.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: So now you're up against that. How do I get
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: these older ladies to chill? First of all, ignore them
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: on Facebook. There is no back and forth if you
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: don't go back. See fourth, get old when you ain't
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: nobody talking back to you. The problem y'all had. And
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: I had to teach this to my son one time.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: He was being attacked online, and I said, brother, you
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: keep typing, stop type and stop typing back and forth
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: end when it ain't no back. So fourth, fourth ain't
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: nothing that's gonna get old after a while. So just
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: ignore him on Facebook, don't say nothing else, and just
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: let it go. Now, know this, and I know this
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: is gonna sound ugly, but I'm gonna just have to
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: tell you that if you just be patient, yeah, wait
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: them out, Uh, they're gonna start dying. No, just tell
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: you you're gonna do that. Just tell you. I'm just
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: tell you. I don't know who you are. I don't
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: know who that. I don't know who. Probably let it
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: go in then is. But if you just wait them out,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: they gonna start dying.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Blanche Rose Sophia and.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Go the girl hardly nobody name Blanche.
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: Ever Blanche.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Rock saying, don't worry about.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: It all right.

- 1:10:22Speaker 11: weather sets in. Every day, aches and pains can linger,
- 1:10:26Speaker 11: but a Leave's got your back. With up to twelve
- 1:10:29Speaker 11: hours of body pain relief per dose, a leave keeps
- 1:10:32Speaker 11: you going with long lasting body pain relief to get
- 1:10:35Speaker 11: you through whatever the season brings. A leave gives you

- 1:10:48Speaker 4: All right, Tommy, what.
- 1:10:50Speaker 11: Is it now?
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Okay, I got a problem and it's you know, it
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: might it might be minded to y'all, but it's a
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: big problem to me because I've been going through.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: For the last Tommy. Yeah, should I come here first
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: or last?
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: You probably I don't know. I mean, you ain't never
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: went through this. You don't go through stuff like this. Okay,
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: this is something I'm going to.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Okay, this, this is something I'm going to. All Right,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: this is a problem I'm had for the last month.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: And it's a simple question.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: How do you throw away a trash can?
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I just just listen to me.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: Now, Ain't nobody helping you with that? If I put
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: it on the street, they leave it on the street.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Now I done took the trash can, they just leave
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: it there. Now I done took the trash can. I
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: didn't put it inside a bigger trash can. They take
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: it out and still leave it there. And I'm asking,
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: how do you get rid of a trash can? Okay,
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: it's a big problem. Okay, here's the last thing I did,
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: all right, I wrote trash on the side of the
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: trash can with a sharpe I be garbage man still
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: left it there, and I'm standing in the driveway trying
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: to figure it out.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: How in the hell do I get rid of a
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: trash can? Now here's what I did. Next, hook the
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: trash can next.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Door to the neighbor's house and put it by his
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: trash Do you know I come home that evening my
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: trash is that trash can is in my driveway and
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: it's a note on it saying I don't know how
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: your trash can got nicked dough, but I brought it
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: over here. Sign GM garbage man. I said, I cannot
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: get rid of the trash can. So if anybody can
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: just help me figure out how in the hell.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Do I get rid of a trash can. I don't
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: know how to throw it away out and try five times?
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: Any suggestions, uncle, see, I have a question?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Yes, how bad do you want to get rid of
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: the trash can? On the scale of one to ten?
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Hen I've been trying for a month. Then I have
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: the perfect solution. Put some money in.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: They're just gonna take them.
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: Beginning the money, it'll be gone and then what Yeah,
- 1:13:06Speaker 10: they're just.
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: Gonna take the cash out of there?
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: What girl, ain't nobody ain't nobody from the run the
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: risk of taking the cash out. They're gonna take that
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: trash can, put it up in the front seat with them.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: They don't have that thing on their lap. That's gonna
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: wait till they get somewhere because they don't want you
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: to see them taking that money out, because they ain't.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: You ain't never seen nobody take no trash out the
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: trash can. That's a value without taking the whole thing.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: And that's that right there. Get me some money in
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: the trash can. How much, well, you know, depending on
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: how bad you want it gone. That's why I asked him.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: How important is still one where you write amount of
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: money in there trust and believe it's gone, that trash
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: can gone.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: All right, see how that works for you. You're listening
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: All right, So Steve, listen to this Evelyn on Facebook
- 1:14:09Speaker 11: rights At the beginning of the year, I rented a
- 1:14:12Speaker 11: room in my house to a guy. He seems to
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: be an ideal roommate and there's nothing happening between us.
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: But I come from a very strict family, and I
- 1:14:21Speaker 11: know they're going to take issue with me having a
- 1:14:24Speaker 11: male roommate. No one from my family has been to
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: my house in a couple of years, so it's conceivable
- 1:14:30Speaker 11: to just keep this secret. But I hate keeping things
- 1:14:33Speaker 11: from them. There's nothing they could really do, but I
- 1:14:36Speaker 11: don't want to disappoint them. Should I just keep it
- 1:14:39Speaker 11: a secret or tell them and let the pieces fall
- 1:14:42Speaker 11: where they may?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: You know what the pieces? Yeah, you know that you're
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: going to be unhappy. You know it's going to be
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: the subject at the next dinner. You already know that.
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: Well, what is this?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I hate keeping a secret. You can't tell everything, ain't
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: they not? In part about that? Ain't nothing the part
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: about it? It don't look like nothing happening. That's gonna
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: be the hard when to believe? Yeah, yeah, because what
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: what y'all in that doing? I'm going and you got it.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: You gotta admit it does look like a fact y'all
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: living together. If here's a roommate and y'all in the
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: same apartment, y'all living together, that's what that is. I'll
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: give it him. If he chipping in, a lot of
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: people chip in and live together. So that's what your
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: parents is gonna see. And the rest of your family.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: You know you're trying to tell me though. If you're
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: trying to tell me when the girl know where needed
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: place to stay, know, well, ain't no girl answer that.
- 1:15:57Speaker 11: She said he's a great roommate though, and she said
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: nothing is happening between them.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: It stop. He right down, he right there, she right there.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Come home from a hard day work. But it's gonna
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: happen both of us stressed out?
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Can you that kind? I don't want to talk about
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: what happened today. We gonna do that. It's gonna how
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: didn't care if you ain't that attracted to it? And
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: one night he gonna look better than he ever looked before.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: You guys, everybody look good at one thirty am. Yeah,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: it's skin.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: It's just skin. I just saw is that where we
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: are with it?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: It's just skinned? What we men and you guys skinned,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: well we all do so skin for the men. Yeah,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: you know what started up?
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: You know what statement she made that started let him
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: know he's going that way. You want something to eat?
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: Wait a minute, now, you want something to eat? That
- 1:17:03Speaker 9: means you're gonna make a man something to eat.
- 1:17:05Speaker 10: You got to be attracted to me, I don't I
- 1:17:07Speaker 10: don't feed on attracted people. I'm talking you got to
- 1:17:09Speaker 10: be he came home, Yeah, opened the door.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:17:17Speaker 12: He in there.
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: You only feed cute people.
- 1:17:20Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, you know, I'm gonna even know you're hungry.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Ugly, cute. Whatever they're doing it that they're not.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: Did you not hear her?
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Yeah? Between years Yeah, ever since you got on ready
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: love you think everybody doing it?
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I know it when I see it. Hey, but ow
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: in all of the people, she picked a dude to
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: stay there. I'm telling you she liked this boy because
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: she knew what her parents and people is gonna say.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Put him in that anyway.
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: He seems to be an ideal roommate, is what she said.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Okay, y'all too, ladies, could y'all have a male roommate?
- 1:18:08Speaker 12: Uh?
- 1:18:08Speaker 10: No, there, looking at me, Look at me.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Let's a hush over Jerusalem.
- 1:18:13Speaker 11: What is that.
- 1:18:16Speaker 13: Now?
- 1:18:19Speaker 11: Like?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Hey, yeah, it's what I'm just gonna run across this
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: hall right quick to this bathroom. Yeah all right, I'm
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: going to come out the shower neck and I want
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: to rub the hall to my room because is it cool?

- 1:18:59Speaker 11: you to know, guys, that guys are still scheduling their
- 1:19:03Speaker 11: vasectomies around March Madness, and this year was no different.
- 1:19:07Speaker 11: Urologists across the country have reported that up to a
- 1:19:11Speaker 11: fifty percent increase UH is going on in vasectoms that
- 1:19:16Speaker 11: were scheduled leading up to the tournament.
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: Timing is everything.
- 1:19:19Speaker 11: Of course, getting snipped as a tournament gets rolling makes
- 1:19:23Speaker 11: an unpleasant procedure into something of a four day vacation
- 1:19:27Speaker 11: with all that basketball.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: To watch what they do, that's what they get it done.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: And then they get a bag of frozen peas and

- 1:22:31Speaker 11: There.
- 1:22:31Speaker 10: You get a lot of stuff we can do in here.
- 1:22:33Speaker 10: But it's not gonna be great though.

- 1:22:48Speaker 1: That it really is. Doing all kinds of stuff.
- 1:22:53Speaker 10: It is, because then you're gonna want to do this
- 1:22:55Speaker 10: all the time. And I got to go to work.

- 1:23:20Speaker 1: shut up. You got them too. You're the one who
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: showed them to me. Stop jumped out there first. Well
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: I got both of them. So what I ain't got?
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I don't know how people go no more without one

- 1:23:37Speaker 1: really boy?

- 1:25:29Speaker 15: right here.
- 1:25:29Speaker 11: We are, last break of the day on this Tuesday. Boy,
- 1:25:34Speaker 11: A good day, A good day. I think we learned
- 1:25:36Speaker 11: a few things today. Yeah, you know, and see we
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: were talking about, you know, we were young, making mistakes
- 1:25:43Speaker 11: and things like that. So as we get into this
- 1:25:46Speaker 11: closing remarks today, I just want to ask you, you know,
- 1:25:50Speaker 11: maybe there's something you can impart to a young person
- 1:25:54Speaker 11: out there who's twenty one, who's you know, we were
- 1:25:57Speaker 11: all twenty one before, we've made mistakes.
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: Let them know that they can come out of it,
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: they can do better.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: Well, you know, here's a deal. It is amazing how
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: we are sometimes, you know, towards one another, and how
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: we are with our own actions. It's almost like we
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: act like we've never made a mistake ourselves. We act like,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you know, what somebody else has done is more more
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: unforgivable and more unthinkable than they can ever imagine of themselves,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: when in actuality, the truth of the matter is, we've
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: all done things. And thank god that there was no
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: social media when I was twenty one. Thank god there
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: was no Instagram, Snapchat, no phone cameras. It we wasn't
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: no phones when I was twenty one. There's no record
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: of the reckless, idiotic decisions we made back then. But
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: what happens to these young people today is that they
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: have no way of learning and fixing themselves on their own.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: They have no time to heal. The destruction of one
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: another is so rampant in our society today that it's frightening.
- 1:27:21Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: It's almost like, man, I really really hate to see
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: bad news come out about young people because they are
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: so attached to social media that they is such a
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: part of their world, and so many of these young
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: people count on it. It's some grown folks count on
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: it too, though, and it's just a tear down in
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: social media that begins the destruction of a person. Man,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Does anybody give anybody uplift on social media? Does anybody
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: try to say, you know what, I understand, I understand
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: I've been there, little girl, or hanging there. Everybody makes mistakes,
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: but it's such a rush to judgment, and then even
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: as you rush to judgment, there's just a rush to destruction.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: And I'm really really concerned about young people today because, look,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: I still make mistakes. I made a mistake this year.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: I made a mistake this year, a mistake I been
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: ate up. I get beat up all the time. Man,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: But I'm gonna just keep I'm gonna just keep striving.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna just keep going along.
- 1:28:30Speaker 13: You know.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: I'm just strong enough to understand that. Hey man, I'd
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: have made them before. And like I said the other day,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: one of the cool things is when I look back
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: on all of my rough days, when I look back
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: on all the days I thought I wasn't gonna do it,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: my track record for surviving bad days so far is
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: one hundred percent. And that's pretty cool. Anything else shall.
- 1:28:54Speaker 11: Well, you know, I mean, thank you for that, Thank
- 1:28:57Speaker 11: you for that. I just want to And how important
- 1:29:01Speaker 11: is it, seed like to have a support system, you
- 1:29:03Speaker 11: know what?
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: That's important man, that somebody reaches they hand down to
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: pick you up, to give you words of encouragement. And
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: you can be that to a person that you see
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: that is getting beat up. See the thing about hate,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: and I've often said it, hate is louder than love,
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: but love is stronger. Yeah. See, So you can loudly
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: try to bring somebody down, and somebody can come and
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: softly and calmly pick them up and hold and give
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: them time to heal and be okay. But you know,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: there's a loving side to most people, that is a
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: compassionate side to most people. And if you don't get
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: out there and get in the fray and the hate game,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: now it's just just some people that's just hateful. You know.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: The devil is busy today, man, The devil has imps
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: that work for him twenty four to seven. And they
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: on Twitter, and they on Instagram and they own whatever.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: And the devil just press the button and here they
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: go to work, and they call themselves hate us, and
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: that my job is to hate. No, it's not, no,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: it's really not. Our job really is to love and
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: uplift one another. Because guess what, you gonna need loving
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: and you're gonna need uplifting. I don't care who you are.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: You can be the world's greatest hater. At one point
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: in time, you're gonna need some loving and some uplift.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: And when it's time to get yours, you know, that's
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: when the Lord's prayer comes into effect. Give us this
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: day our daily bread. Forgive us our trust passes, as
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: we forgive those who trustpass against us. All forgive us
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: our debts as we forgive our debtors, which simply means
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: when it's time for you to get your compassion and
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: your love, yours is gonna be passed out to you
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: the way you gave it out there.
- 1:30:54Speaker 10: Everybody else Wow.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: And you have to remember that man and were as people. Man,
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: you have to tap into to your loving side. If
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: you see somebody getting beat up, it ain't nothing wrong
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: with you to go over there and just try to
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: hug them, give them a help. That don't make you
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: nothing less than a person because you don't agree with
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: the masses. Sometimes you got to pick a person up.
- 1:31:14Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: They just need a little bit of uplift so they
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: can get up and keep going. This young girl don't
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: deserve to have her life taken from her because she
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: made a mistake. And we should not have the will
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: to see another young person get broken before they even
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: get built up. That's a sad thing, man, it is.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Those are my Those are my remarks.
