Consumers are facing into a costly Christmas as groceries, energy bills and even pints are all rising in price.Figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) show that inflation is now at its highest level in a year-and-a-half.A survey shows that most consumers are planning to cut back on their spending this festive season as the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite.Economist Austin Hughes joined us on The Agenda this morning to talk to us some more about this.
