Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, we've got some serious insight that has just been
- 0:03Speaker 1: released by Congressman Jim Jordan, who has explained the fourteen
- 0:08Speaker 1: FBI whistleblowers, and he said, frankly, we anticipate there to
- 0:14Speaker 1: be many more. That's right. Representive Jim Jordan, the top
- 0:18Speaker 1: Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, has been fielding whistleblower
- 0:21Speaker 1: allegations against officials at the DOJ and the FBI since
- 0:27Speaker 1: last November. Bright Bart News spoke with Congressman Jordan and
- 0:33Speaker 1: his staff about the whistle blowers after multiple reports circulated
- 0:37Speaker 1: this week that took comments Jordan made on the matter
- 0:41Speaker 1: during a recent television appearance out of context. No, the
- 0:46Speaker 1: media would actually lie. I can't believe it, Jim Jordan
- 0:50Speaker 1: said Sunday to Fox News is Trey Gaudy that fourteen
- 0:56Speaker 1: whistle blowers from within the FBI had come forward to
- 0:59Speaker 1: his office. That's what he said. I'm gonna give you
- 1:02Speaker 1: the exact quote. Fourteen FBI agents have come to our
- 1:06Speaker 1: office as whistle blowers, and they are good people. There
- 1:09Speaker 1: are lots of good people in the FBI. It's the
- 1:12Speaker 1: top that's the problem. But some of these good agents
- 1:15Speaker 1: are coming to us telling us. This is belogning what's
- 1:20Speaker 1: going on the political nature now of the Justice Department. Now,
- 1:24Speaker 1: before I get into more of this story, I want
- 1:26Speaker 1: to say thank you and tell you about our good
- 1:28Speaker 1: friends at Legacy Precious Metals. Without them, the show wouldn't
- 1:31Speaker 1: be possible. And if you have not looked at gold
- 1:35Speaker 1: and silver as a way to protect your hard earned
- 1:37Speaker 1: dollars against what the happening on Wall Street with inflation,
- 1:40Speaker 1: it's time for you to call them and get the
- 1:42Speaker 1: free Investor's Guide. Why because so many around the world
- 1:45Speaker 1: are now using gold and silver, and historically they have
- 1:48Speaker 1: for decades as a protection, a hedge against inflation, which
- 1:52Speaker 1: is exactly what we're dealing with right now. If you're
- 1:55Speaker 1: terrified to look at your retirement account, your four one
- 1:57Speaker 1: case statement because of what's happening on Wall Street, that's
- 2:01Speaker 1: all the more reason why you should call and get
- 2:03Speaker 1: the investors got in gold and silver, protect your hard
- 2:06Speaker 1: earned money and diversify. Call them and get the Free
- 2:09Speaker 1: Investors Guide from Legacy Precious Medals one eight six, six
- 2:13Speaker 1: seven five one twenty two eighteen one eight six six
- 2:19Speaker 1: seven five one twenty two eighteen or online at Legacy
- 2:23Speaker 1: PM Investments dot Com. Now, several news organizations got it
- 2:29Speaker 1: wrong after that right, several reports wrongly associated the fourteen
- 2:37Speaker 1: whistle blowers with the FBI raid that occurred on August eighth.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Former President Donald Trump smartlogo residents. Newsweek and MSNBC, for example,
- 2:48Speaker 1: cast doubt on the number of whistle blowers. So, in
- 2:51Speaker 1: other words, you come forward and Jim Jordan says there's
- 2:53Speaker 1: fourteen whistle blowers, and then immediately MSNBC comes out in
- 2:56Speaker 1: Newsweek and they're like, wow, we doubt the number based
- 2:59Speaker 1: on what were the blow we're talking to, you know,
- 3:01Speaker 1: so why don't you shut up? Because these are scumbags
- 3:04Speaker 1: in the leftist media. In fact, news Week reported on
- 3:08Speaker 1: a quote wave of skepticism quote unquote from who, by
- 3:12Speaker 1: the way, where's the wave of skepticism? Show me the
- 3:14Speaker 1: wave of skepticism. This is again another example of how
- 3:17Speaker 1: much they lie. They're they're they're awful, horrible human beings,
- 3:22Speaker 1: triggered quote unquote by Jordan's comments. While MSNBC's Matt alblog
- 3:28Speaker 1: derived Jordan's track record as a serious lawmaker, I'm not kidding,
- 3:34Speaker 1: Jordan asserted to bright Bart News that he has, in
- 3:37Speaker 1: fact had fourteen whistleblowers speak to his office about the
- 3:41Speaker 1: Justice Department in the FBI, but that all of them
- 3:44Speaker 1: approached his office prior to the Trump raide clearing this up.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It started when we realized that the Justice Department was
- 3:52Speaker 1: doing what the Just Department was doing relative to parents,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and the whole school board issue referring parents is tomestic terrorists,
- 4:02Speaker 1: Jordan said, in reference to those allegations. In reference allegations
- 4:07Speaker 1: one whistle blower made to Jordan's office in November of
- 4:11Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, that the FBI was taking counter terrorism
- 4:14Speaker 1: measures to investigate parents who it deemed a threat at
- 4:18Speaker 1: school board meetings. In other words, bring the full weight
- 4:22Speaker 1: of the United States government, the DOJ, and the FBI
- 4:26Speaker 1: against parents. Then Jim Jordan had another whistleblower contact him
- 4:33Speaker 1: and listened to the timeline because this is where the
- 4:35Speaker 1: media is getting it all wrong. In March of twenty
- 4:38Speaker 1: twenty two, who raised questions about the progress and extent
- 4:43Speaker 1: quote unquote of the FBI's investigation into two pipe bombs
- 4:49Speaker 1: that the FBI said were placed near the Republican National
- 4:53Speaker 1: Committee and the Democratic National Committee the night before the
- 4:57Speaker 1: January sixth Capitol riot. In other words, raising questions about
- 5:01Speaker 1: did it really happen. In May of twenty twenty, Jordan
- 5:07Speaker 1: sided several whistleblowers quote unquote who had contacted his office
- 5:12Speaker 1: with claims. Listen carefully that the FBI was retaliating against
- 5:19Speaker 1: agents who engaged in protecting First Amendment activity on January
- 5:26Speaker 1: the six twenty twenty one. Now, this is probably the
- 5:29Speaker 1: most important one I've mentioned so far. You have FBI
- 5:33Speaker 1: agents that are being retaliated against by the top brass
- 5:36Speaker 1: of the FBI. These whistleblowers are claiming who engaged in
- 5:39Speaker 1: protecting First Amendment activities on January the six In other words,
- 5:43Speaker 1: they're just not going to let the government go rogue
- 5:46Speaker 1: and just start locking everybody up who was in around
- 5:48Speaker 1: January the sixth, and you do have a protected, constitutionally
- 5:53Speaker 1: protected First Amendment right. That is when quote several whistleblowers
- 6:00Speaker 1: contacted his office. When a whistle blower contacts Congressman Jordan,
- 6:05Speaker 1: Jordan's team then proceed to vet the whistleblower and his
- 6:09Speaker 1: or her allegations. Is how one aide to the congressman
- 6:12Speaker 1: explained it. At times, the aide said the whistle blower
- 6:16Speaker 1: complaint has led Congressmen Jordan to another whistle blower, who
- 6:22Speaker 1: then cooborates the initial allegation or adds to it. And
- 6:27Speaker 1: at other times the identity or allegation of the whistle
- 6:30Speaker 1: blower cannot be verified and the allegation falls flat. Jordan
- 6:36Speaker 1: keeps a record of each whistleblower complaint and and if
- 6:40Speaker 1: useful information has come of the complaint, the AID explained.
- 6:44Speaker 1: In other words, they're doing this in a very, very
- 6:46Speaker 1: orderly and methodical way. The AID also noted that Jordan
- 6:50Speaker 1: has been able to use information from fourteen different whistle blowers,
- 6:56Speaker 1: but that Jordan's records contained name of more than fourteen
- 7:01Speaker 1: individuals who had made at least initial contact with his office,
- 7:06Speaker 1: so there's more. Jordan, who has served on the Judiciary
- 7:10Speaker 1: Committee since he joined Congress in two thousand and seven, said, quote,
- 7:14Speaker 1: this is truly not something I've ever seen where you
- 7:18Speaker 1: have this many people, all FBI agents, all coming to
- 7:22Speaker 1: us as whistleblowers. He said. I think the reason they
- 7:26Speaker 1: come to us is they know they can trust us
- 7:29Speaker 1: and well will work with them. Jordan said. When they
- 7:34Speaker 1: come to us in the minority, all we can really
- 7:37Speaker 1: do is begin to tell their story. We can't subpoena.
- 7:41Speaker 1: We can't do the things that you can typically obviously
- 7:45Speaker 1: do in the majority, but yet they're still willing to
- 7:49Speaker 1: come forward, which I think underscores how political that place
- 7:53Speaker 1: referring to the FBI and the DOJ has become should
- 7:58Speaker 1: Republicans take the majority in November. Jordan said he is
- 8:02Speaker 1: poised to serve as the chair of the committee and
- 8:07Speaker 1: has already publicly indicated his intent to formally investigate the
- 8:11Speaker 1: Justice Department in the FBI. And this is where the
- 8:13Speaker 1: accusations are coming in from the media. As I told
- 8:17Speaker 1: you and played for you yesterday, that if you even
- 8:20Speaker 1: question the DOJ, or even question the FBI leadership, you
- 8:24Speaker 1: are immediately going to be labeled as a domestic terrorist.
- 8:29Speaker 1: On the meantime, with FBI whistleblower allegations, Congressman Jordan has
- 8:34Speaker 1: typically contacted the Attorney General Merrick Garland or the FBI
- 8:39Speaker 1: Director Christopher Ray to demand more information about allegations when
- 8:43Speaker 1: he feels he has strong enough information through the whistleblower
- 8:47Speaker 1: or whistleblowers to take that step. Now, the letter become public,
- 8:53Speaker 1: the letters quote become public correspondence, and therefore create awareness
- 8:56Speaker 1: about allegations being made against the FBI and the Justice
- 9:01Speaker 1: Department when he writes that letter to these departments, but
- 9:06Speaker 1: confirming the allegations and holding those relevant accountable would require
- 9:10Speaker 1: Republicans to schedule keerings and potentially issue subpoenas, which they
- 9:15Speaker 1: cannot do. In the minority quote, in terms of responsiveness
- 9:19Speaker 1: from Garland or Ray, Jordan said, it's basically nothing every time,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and if we get something back, it's usually a pretty
- 9:31Speaker 1: cryptic one or two paragraph response. Now we've attained one
- 9:38Speaker 1: response to letters Jordan sent back in November of twenty
- 9:42Speaker 1: twenty one, demanding an assortment of documents related to the
- 9:46Speaker 1: school board issue, including one letter sent on November the
- 9:49Speaker 1: sixteenth about the aforementioned whistleblowers allegation on the matter. The
- 9:55Speaker 1: Justice Department's response, which was sent two months later, reveals
- 10:00Speaker 1: the department declined to provide Jordan with the requested documents
- 10:06Speaker 1: because that's how they roll at the FBI and the
- 10:09Speaker 1: Justice Department. Yeah, nothing, that's what they gave them. Nothing
- 10:15Speaker 1: Because why would you deal with Republicans when you don't
- 10:18Speaker 1: have to write? Why would you deal with Republicans when
- 10:22Speaker 1: it doesn't even matter? So why deal with Republicans when
- 10:27Speaker 1: you don't have to write Why would you deal with
- 10:29Speaker 1: Republicans when it doesn't even matter because you're in the majority.
- 10:34Speaker 1: That's exactly what the FBI and the DOJ are doing
- 10:37Speaker 1: when Republicans write them letters. And Joe Biden has now
- 10:41Speaker 1: come to the defense of the FBI and the DOJ.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Biden quote rejects defunding the FBI and mid calls from
- 10:51Speaker 1: some Republicans now x CIA official Philip mud who is
- 10:57Speaker 1: one of the best hacks on TV over CNN, implied
- 11:02Speaker 1: this week that if you are against the FBI right,
- 11:07Speaker 1: if you ask questions, then you want little children to
- 11:11Speaker 1: be raped. Not joking right now. The White House loves
- 11:16Speaker 1: him for being a hack, and the White House has
- 11:18Speaker 1: come out strongly condemning the calls from some members of
- 11:21Speaker 1: the Republican Party, including some elected lawmakers, to defund the
- 11:24Speaker 1: FBI in the wake of last week's search a former
- 11:28Speaker 1: President Donald Trump's Marlago estate. The pushback marks the White
- 11:32Speaker 1: House's most aggressive response to the FBI's search to date,
- 11:36Speaker 1: and comes as other Republicans, including former Vice President Mike
- 11:40Speaker 1: penz Er, sounding alarms on this message amid heightened threats
- 11:43Speaker 1: to law enforcement. Just like President Biden rejected defund the police.
- 11:47Speaker 1: He rejects defunding other law enforcement, including the FBI, is
- 11:52Speaker 1: what the White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates sent
- 11:55Speaker 1: a statement. The presidents called for boosting police funding through
- 11:58Speaker 1: the Cops Program in high one hundred thousand additional officers.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Well guess what the rest of your party says, screw you.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He also include over ten point eight billion for the
- 12:08Speaker 1: FBI and the most recent budget. Yeah, I believe it,
- 12:10Speaker 1: especially after seeing what he's going to do with the irs.
- 12:13Speaker 1: The men and women who bravely serve in law enforcement
- 12:16Speaker 1: to keep us all safe deserve the resources and support
- 12:19Speaker 1: they need to do their jobs, not seeing their budget slash.
- 12:22Speaker 1: All right, I gotta pause. There, Where the hell was
- 12:24Speaker 1: this president when the Democrats were trying to defund the police,
- 12:28Speaker 1: and we're doing it successfully all over the country in
- 12:32Speaker 1: liberal cities like right right. Where was all of this?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Where it was it? I'm genuinely curious, because you guys
- 12:40Speaker 1: weren't out there saying don't do it. Okay. You guys
- 12:44Speaker 1: weren't out there saying, oh, we want to be very clear,
- 12:47Speaker 1: this is something that it would be terrible, and we
- 12:48Speaker 1: were never going to stand as a party to defund
- 12:50Speaker 1: the police. Like that's not out there, that was never there.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You guys never gave us that right, Like it wasn't
- 12:58Speaker 1: like that's something you guys. Let the defund the police
- 13:01Speaker 1: movement moved forward, no problem at all. Look at the
- 13:06Speaker 1: violent crime that has recently hit in New York City.
- 13:09Speaker 1: You guys may have seen this recent video of two
- 13:15Speaker 1: elderly people violently attacked in New York City. It's gone
- 13:19Speaker 1: viral and these videos. In fact, last night on Hannity,
- 13:23Speaker 1: they were talking about this and saying and they had
- 13:25Speaker 1: Leah Terrell on, the former New York City mayoral Cannet
- 13:27Speaker 1: Kurtswila on to talk about these violent instances where people
- 13:31Speaker 1: are mining their own business and they just get attacked.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Why is it happening New York because of defund the police,
- 13:40Speaker 1: because of the anti police rhetoric that it was actually
- 13:43Speaker 1: put into a place by activist das and by elected officials.
- 13:48Speaker 1: And then the White House wants to come out and
- 13:49Speaker 1: now say, oh, we're in favor of funding the police.
- 13:51Speaker 1: No you're not, you never have been. You're liars, and
- 13:56Speaker 1: you sure as how will fund the FBI when they're
- 13:58Speaker 1: doing your dirty political work for you, and I do
- 14:01Speaker 1: think there's an important distinction that needs to be made
- 14:03Speaker 1: quickly when people like myself and others are talking about
- 14:08Speaker 1: defunding the FBI. The point is, if you're not going
- 14:10Speaker 1: to fix it, then we need to break it down
- 14:12Speaker 1: and start all over. Okay, I want to be clear.
- 14:18Speaker 1: And by the way, if you want to know if
- 14:19Speaker 1: Mike Pence is running for president, he is. Okay, he's
- 14:22Speaker 1: doing everything he can to separate himself from Donald Trump.
- 14:26Speaker 1: In fact, he came out last night being a useful
- 14:29Speaker 1: idiot for the left and it's call and he says
- 14:32Speaker 1: calls did fund the FBI or just as wrong as
- 14:34Speaker 1: calls to fund the police. The police wasn't going around
- 14:37Speaker 1: rating former presidents house you moron. This is why I'm
- 14:40Speaker 1: not a big fan of Mike Pence. Want to be clear, listen.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I also want to remind my fellow Republicans we can
- 14:48Speaker 1: hold the Attorney General accountable for the decision that he
- 14:54Speaker 1: made without attacking the rank and file law enforce personnel
- 15:01Speaker 1: at the FBI. The Republican Party is the party of
- 15:09Speaker 1: law and order. Our party stands with the men and
- 15:13Speaker 1: women who serve on the thin blue line at the
- 15:15Speaker 1: federal and state and local level, and these attacks on
- 15:19Speaker 1: the FBI must stop. Calls to define the FBI are
- 15:24Speaker 1: just as wrong as calls to defund the police. I
- 15:28Speaker 1: couldn't disagree with him more right. I think this is
- 15:32Speaker 1: total crap. I think this is political pandering by Mike Pence.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I think that he's trying to figure out his lane
- 15:37Speaker 1: to run for the presidency and get out from underneath
- 15:40Speaker 1: Donald Trump's shadow. I think his point he goes, well,
- 15:44Speaker 1: you know you can. I'm not sure you can reform
- 15:46Speaker 1: the FBI based on what they're doing. You know, Mike
- 15:49Speaker 1: Pinch should understand this. The FBI has helped people from
- 15:53Speaker 1: January sixth and solentary confinement, has gone around the country
- 15:58Speaker 1: and and gone on a manhunt like we've never seen
- 16:01Speaker 1: before for political reasons. At the same time, allowing people
- 16:05Speaker 1: like Hillary Clinton to get away with classified documents. They're
- 16:08Speaker 1: abusing their power going after Donald Trump, General Flynn and
- 16:12Speaker 1: others like that the way that they did. And I
- 16:16Speaker 1: do believe that there are great men and women at
- 16:18Speaker 1: the FBI. But the only way to get reform, in
- 16:21Speaker 1: my opinion, it's pretty simple. You have to pull on
- 16:25Speaker 1: the purse strings of the people who are acting this way.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You have to that's the only option. And if you
- 16:35Speaker 1: don't do that, it's game over. Right. You don't really
- 16:40Speaker 1: have an option, folks, You just don't. You don't. Okay. Now,
- 16:49Speaker 1: there's another thing here that's important for people to understand,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and that is this. When you see Republicans like Mike
- 16:57Speaker 1: Pennce come out and talk this way, they are not
- 17:01Speaker 1: helping fix the problem. There are a lot of corrupt
- 17:04Speaker 1: people within the FBI, and we can see it the
- 17:07Speaker 1: Peter Strucks, the leasa's page, and all the top leadership.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And you're gonna have to do something, Okay, you are.
- 17:13Speaker 1: You're just going to You're going to have to do
- 17:17Speaker 1: something to fight back. You're gonna have to do something
- 17:22Speaker 1: to totally dismantle this organization for what it is and politics,
- 17:32Speaker 1: the only thing that matters is money. That's it. The
- 17:37Speaker 1: only thing that matters is money. And the only time
- 17:40Speaker 1: you get a response from pretty much anything from any
- 17:45Speaker 1: one is if you take away their cash. And that's
- 17:49Speaker 1: exactly what is being advocated for right now. And when
- 17:54Speaker 1: you say you need to defund an organization, it doesn't
- 17:57Speaker 1: mean that you're against what they do in general. It
- 17:59Speaker 1: means that they've lost your way and you're it's a
- 18:02Speaker 1: broken organization, and that's clearly what we're dealing with right now.
- 18:09Speaker 1: You cannot trust the FBI, you cannot trust the Department
- 18:13Speaker 1: of Justice at the highest levels. Why do you think
- 18:16Speaker 1: some of whistleblowers are coming forward? And as Jim Jordan said,
- 18:19Speaker 1: there will be He has no doubt countless other individuals
- 18:25Speaker 1: that are going to come forward as whistle blowers once
- 18:27Speaker 1: they feel comfortable. If the Republicans can actually do something
- 18:30Speaker 1: with their information. Right now, we can only just as
- 18:32Speaker 1: he said, tell their stories. But being a useful idiot,
- 18:36Speaker 1: as Mike Pence is calling it, you know, coming out
- 18:39Speaker 1: there and grandstanding, you have to understand why he's doing this.
- 18:43Speaker 1: It is to try to find his own lane. And
- 18:46Speaker 1: Mike Pence is delusional if he thinks people want to
- 18:49Speaker 1: vote for him, the same way that Liz Cheney is
- 18:53Speaker 1: delusional that she thinks that after losing seventy thirty that
- 18:56Speaker 1: all of a sudden, now she needs to run for
- 18:58Speaker 1: president of the United It's America, and she believe that
- 19:00Speaker 1: she's Abraham Lincoln. Senator Rampaul came on this morning on
- 19:04Speaker 1: Fox and frends. He said the burden on the FBI
- 19:06Speaker 1: to prove that mar Lago wasn't politically motivated. He said,
- 19:09Speaker 1: that's the point here that people are missing, and he's
- 19:11Speaker 1: absolutely right. You can talk about defunding the FBI until
- 19:15Speaker 1: they give you answers if they're stonewalling you, which is
- 19:17Speaker 1: exactly what they're doing now, and they're not being transparent,
- 19:20Speaker 1: which is exactly what they're doing now. And they're going
- 19:22Speaker 1: after political enemies, which is exactly what they've been doing
- 19:25Speaker 1: the entire time since twenty and sixteen when they were
- 19:29Speaker 1: trying to frame Donald Trump for crimes he did not commit,
- 19:32Speaker 1: and trying to get him kicked out of office, right,
- 19:33Speaker 1: get him in peach and overthrow the will of the people.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I would remind Mike Pence of that, So stop being
- 19:38Speaker 1: a useful idiot. And Senator Rampaul's point is it's on
- 19:42Speaker 1: them now. It is on them to prove that the
- 19:47Speaker 1: mar Lago raid wasn't politically motivated. Listen, good morning morning,
- 19:51Speaker 1: Well thanks for coming on. We all were saying we
- 19:54Speaker 1: would take a bet that they are not going to
- 19:56Speaker 1: be this affidavit's not going to be unsealed, because this
- 19:59Speaker 1: is the judge, the same the same person that signed
- 20:02Speaker 1: the AOKA to go into Mara Lago. What do you think, Well,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you know, I think the burden is on the FBI
- 20:10Speaker 1: to justify this rate. This is extraordinary. This is also
- 20:13Speaker 1: the same FBI that used a foreign intelligence warrant to
- 20:17Speaker 1: snoop on and spy on the Trump campaign to investigate
- 20:20Speaker 1: them for over two years. So I think the burden
- 20:22Speaker 1: really is on the FBI. They've been wrong in the past,
- 20:25Speaker 1: that broken the law in using these foreign intelligence warrants.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Now they use a domestic warrant. But I do think
- 20:31Speaker 1: they need to release the justification for this because this
- 20:35Speaker 1: is extraordinary and we should not lose sight of the
- 20:37Speaker 1: fact this has never ever happened before for a good reason,
- 20:41Speaker 1: because we need to have confidence in the FBI. We
- 20:43Speaker 1: need to have confidence in our intelligence agencies that they
- 20:46Speaker 1: are there to protect us and not to go after
- 20:48Speaker 1: people for political purposes. So the burden is on them
- 20:51Speaker 1: to prove that this is not a politically motivated witch hunt. Sure,
- 20:54Speaker 1: and you know we've heard a bad actors senator at
- 20:58Speaker 1: the FBI years ago regarding Russia and Trump and stuff
- 21:02Speaker 1: like that. This is consistent, right, the point he's making
- 21:05Speaker 1: We are seeing event after event after event after event. Right,
- 21:11Speaker 1: We've seen this over and over again. Matt Gates, by
- 21:17Speaker 1: the way, GOP opponent has just dropped a ad suggesting
- 21:21Speaker 1: he was an FBI informant behind raid on Trump's estate.
- 21:27Speaker 1: This is how, this is how psycho people have become.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Has a new you know, has a new ad out
- 21:35Speaker 1: there trying to undermine Matt Gates in this way, saying, oh,
- 21:38Speaker 1: maybe he was the guy, right, maybe maybe this is
- 21:42Speaker 1: the guy here that did this. Dershowitz, by the way,
- 21:46Speaker 1: he said it released affidavit could be redacted, and the
- 21:52Speaker 1: FBI is saying they can't release that that affidavit right,
- 21:56Speaker 1: saying no to it, the government saying no to it.
- 21:57Speaker 1: He said, look, you can redact certain things. This isn't hard.
- 22:01Speaker 1: We've done this before. Don't let them tell you they
- 22:03Speaker 1: can't do it because's an ongoing investigation. That's a lie.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Listen to what he had to say on Hannity. I've
- 22:09Speaker 1: had a principle for sixty years. I wrote about it
- 22:11Speaker 1: in my new book, The Price of Principle, and that is,
- 22:14Speaker 1: if there's a dispute and one side wants the truth
- 22:17Speaker 1: to come out, and the other side says, no, we
- 22:20Speaker 1: don't want the truth to come out. Always believe the
- 22:23Speaker 1: person who wants the truth to come out, that's the
- 22:26Speaker 1: person who's telling the truth. And so the Trump people
- 22:30Speaker 1: want the affidavit to be released. The Justice Department doesn't.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Now I'm not suggesting releasing the entire affidavit. You can
- 22:37Speaker 1: redact the names of witnesses, you can redact the name
- 22:41Speaker 1: of agents, you can redact sources and methods. But let's
- 22:45Speaker 1: know what they were looking for. I want to know,
- 22:47Speaker 1: particularly because to get a search warrant of a safe,
- 22:50Speaker 1: you have to have very particular evidence what was in
- 22:54Speaker 1: the safe. From reporting, we now know nothing was in
- 22:57Speaker 1: the same We need to know what was in the
- 22:59Speaker 1: client of missus Trump. We need to know what was
- 23:04Speaker 1: in I think I can probably a good venture, a
- 23:06Speaker 1: pretty good game. And Dershowitz here and by the way,
- 23:10Speaker 1: hand it's something funny there he goes that it was
- 23:12Speaker 1: closed in the closet, right, But how did you get this?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Now there's another part of this narrative, and this is
- 23:19Speaker 1: again showing you where the media is going with this.
- 23:23Speaker 1: CNN is now reporting that Donald Trump's team is considering
- 23:27Speaker 1: releasing the raid footage and now saying that this is
- 23:31Speaker 1: evil because it would place the identities of the FBI
- 23:34Speaker 1: agents at risk. You can blur out faces, by the way,
- 23:39Speaker 1: when you release video. We do it all the time
- 23:41Speaker 1: to protect people's identities. And I go back to the
- 23:46Speaker 1: point that I made earlier about Mike Pence being a
- 23:48Speaker 1: useful idiot. Now for the left, you know where you
- 23:52Speaker 1: notice everything is about protecting the FBI. None of the
- 23:56Speaker 1: conversation the media is having right now is about protect
- 24:00Speaker 1: Donald Trump or the rights of citizens that are being
- 24:03Speaker 1: abused by the head of the FBI and the DOJ. Right,
- 24:07Speaker 1: Donald Trump is the front runner. He is the clear
- 24:10Speaker 1: front runner. And the Republican about nominee and the Republican
- 24:13Speaker 1: you know, going for present like it's obvious here, right,
- 24:18Speaker 1: it's obvious. That's the reason why Joe Biden gave such
- 24:22Speaker 1: a bizarre and it was a bizarre answer on the FBI. Right,
- 24:30Speaker 1: it was. It was a strange answer. Listen to what Navarro,
- 24:36Speaker 1: who was Peter Navarre, was on our show a couple
- 24:38Speaker 1: of days ago. I had to say about all of
- 24:41Speaker 1: this claim, you go ahead and you told the agents
- 24:45Speaker 1: to get the f out of here? True? The week
- 24:49Speaker 1: before they arrested me, they came to my door in
- 24:53Speaker 1: the very early morning and almost kicked the door down
- 24:56Speaker 1: while I was asleep. And that kind of behavior was
- 25:02Speaker 1: totally unwarranted. It was bullying, coercive, terrorist kind of tactics.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Because they knew full well I would have been happy
- 25:09Speaker 1: to take that subpoena. They could have come at a
- 25:12Speaker 1: reasonable hour. I was peaceful with them, but I sternly
- 25:16Speaker 1: rebuked them for engaging in the kind of bullying coersion
- 25:20Speaker 1: they did. But Sean, the important thing is two days
- 25:23Speaker 1: before they arrested me, I called that same agent. I said, hey, Walter,
- 25:28Speaker 1: whatever you need, buddy, you don't have to kick my
- 25:30Speaker 1: door down again. I'm here to cooperate. And by the way,
- 25:33Speaker 1: that same day, June first, I sent a letter to
- 25:37Speaker 1: the Deputy of the District Attorney, Elizabeth Alloyd, seeking a
- 25:42Speaker 1: modus vivendi. I say, I'm look, I'm doing my constitutional
- 25:45Speaker 1: duty here. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Here's my attorney to call. And you know what, they
- 25:52Speaker 1: didn't call that attorney. And in that brief they followed
- 25:54Speaker 1: to day Shawn, guess what they said, I didn't have
- 25:57Speaker 1: legal representation that was a lie. So relies. But they
- 26:03Speaker 1: of course they knew better. Of course they knew better.
- 26:06Speaker 1: They look when they came in the early morning with
- 26:10Speaker 1: that subpoenut it was unnecessary. I'll tell you one thing.
- 26:13Speaker 1: He called me up and subserved it, and then they're
- 26:15Speaker 1: trying to bully us. I'll add one thing too, you
- 26:20Speaker 1: know what, look at the Hillary Clinton case. They never
- 26:22Speaker 1: they never knocked on her door. They didn't have a
- 26:26Speaker 1: pre dawn raid like they did. Paul m. An Afford
- 26:29Speaker 1: is going to join us next. Um. I can't remember
- 26:32Speaker 1: a time that they put her in leg shackles or
- 26:35Speaker 1: or in handcuffs. I don't remember Hunter Biden. And we
- 26:39Speaker 1: know about the laptop. The FBI has had it now
- 26:41Speaker 1: for almost two years. I remember Hunter's home, uh being
- 26:45Speaker 1: you know, a pre dawn raid at his home. We
- 26:48Speaker 1: know he lied on a gun application. We know that
- 26:50Speaker 1: gun ended up in a dumpster, and we know that
- 26:52Speaker 1: he mentions the big guy his father a lot, and
- 26:55Speaker 1: he's implicated all over that laptop. And not a finger
- 26:58Speaker 1: has been lifted in this case. So this certainly is
- 27:00Speaker 1: a two tier justice system, and that should be the
- 27:03Speaker 1: point that Americans take away from this. They don't treat
- 27:06Speaker 1: democrats the way they treat conservatives. Period. They don't treat
- 27:10Speaker 1: democrats the way they treat conservatives. Period. You heard Navarro there,
- 27:15Speaker 1: He said the same thing when he was on our show.
- 27:18Speaker 1: You know this idea. They said he didn't have representation,
- 27:21Speaker 1: legal representation. He's like, that's a lie. I gave them
- 27:25Speaker 1: my lawyers information when they came in days before. Don't
- 27:31Speaker 1: tell me that you didn't come in, that I didn't
- 27:34Speaker 1: come in. Don't tell me that you didn't have my
- 27:37Speaker 1: lawyers information. I gave it to you. And by the way,
- 27:40Speaker 1: I believe Peter Navarro certainly way more than I believe
- 27:46Speaker 1: the FBI at this point based on what they have done.
- 27:52Speaker 1: So when Republicans and conservatives are saying we need to
- 27:54Speaker 1: defund the FBI until we get a handle on the place,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I don't blame them. Does that mean you're un American
- 27:58Speaker 1: or anti American? No, it doesn't. Does that mean you
- 28:01Speaker 1: want little children to be raped? To see Ann Now
- 28:03Speaker 1: puts it, Wow, These Republicans claim that they care about children,
- 28:06Speaker 1: but now they want chown to be raped because that
- 28:07Speaker 1: two investigates child sex trafficking, human sex trafficking. I understand that.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I'm not saying those investigations don't keep going. But at
- 28:15Speaker 1: this point, if you don't get a hold of the
- 28:16Speaker 1: FBI where they're where they're literally advocating for overthrowing the
- 28:20Speaker 1: will of the people in elections, then we lose our
- 28:23Speaker 1: entire country. And by the way, there's a lot of
- 28:25Speaker 1: other organizations that also go after human trafficking and sex trafficking.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You can No one said get rid of the FBI
- 28:33Speaker 1: and don't replace it. No one said don't start all
- 28:36Speaker 1: over with it, right. No one said just get rid
- 28:39Speaker 1: of it and never bring it back. No one said that.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Tugger Carlson brought up a great point on his show
- 28:50Speaker 1: about the issue of trust and the FBI, and he said, look,
- 28:53Speaker 1: we cannot trust the FBI until its behaviors merit trust,
- 29:00Speaker 1: which is exactly why people are saying, until they start
- 29:02Speaker 1: acting with accountability and credibility and honesty and integrity again
- 29:06Speaker 1: at the highest levels, we should defund them. It's about
- 29:11Speaker 1: the rule of law, right, And the fact that the
- 29:14Speaker 1: White House is shocked and Merrick Garland is shocked, and
- 29:17Speaker 1: the media is shocked, and Mike Pence is shocked by
- 29:20Speaker 1: the criticism of the FBI tells you how scumbaggy they
- 29:24Speaker 1: all are, including Mike Pence. Listen to this geting and
- 29:28Speaker 1: welcome to Tucker Carlson tonight. By all accounts, Attorney General
- 29:32Speaker 1: Merrick Garland was shocked to hear criticism of the raid
- 29:36Speaker 1: on Mara Lago last week. It turns out that Garland
- 29:38Speaker 1: lives in such a tiny, airless world of left wing
- 29:41Speaker 1: activists and sycophants that it had never occurred to him
- 29:45Speaker 1: that anyone might object to sicking the FBI on Joe
- 29:48Speaker 1: Biden's political opponents. When woke Twitter in the New York
- 29:51Speaker 1: Times are your only sources of news, police state politics
- 29:54Speaker 1: seems perfectly normal. Trump is bad, find a reason to
- 29:57Speaker 1: arrest him. That's how they think. So if you watched
- 30:01Speaker 1: Garland carefully this press conference the other day, you may
- 30:04Speaker 1: have noticed that he appeared highly annoyed by the idea
- 30:07Speaker 1: of having to stoop to explain himself to mere citizens,
- 30:10Speaker 1: But he found a solution. Being a liberal. Merrek Garland's
- 30:14Speaker 1: first instinct was to seize the role of victim, because
- 30:17Speaker 1: when you're a victim, you've already won the argument. You
- 30:20Speaker 1: don't have to explain yourself. You don't have to change
- 30:23Speaker 1: your behavior. You're, by definition the good guy. The victim
- 30:28Speaker 1: always is being oppressed means never having to say you're sorry. So,
- 30:32Speaker 1: as Garland explained to the press conference, the FBI was
- 30:35Speaker 1: in fact the real victim here. Mean, old Fox News
- 30:38Speaker 1: was asking unfair questions and that's just wrong. So the
- 30:42Speaker 1: real problem isn't that America's most powerful law enforcement agency
- 30:46Speaker 1: is dangerously politicized and corrupt. No, the real problem here
- 30:50Speaker 1: is that people have dared to complain about it, and
- 30:52Speaker 1: they must stop immediately rust their domestic terrorists. As Garland
- 30:56Speaker 1: put it, with what seemed like genuine outrage, I will
- 30:58Speaker 1: not stand silently by as the integrity of the FBI
- 31:02Speaker 1: is unfairly attacked. Well, of course, media organizations loved it.
- 31:06Speaker 1: There's nothing they revere more than a victim. Victims are
- 31:08Speaker 1: wholly so they immediately took Garland's side. They're being mean
- 31:12Speaker 1: to the FBI. Stop it, guys, that's not allowed. But
- 31:17Speaker 1: if you take three steps back and think about it
- 31:19Speaker 1: for a second, Garland's position, which effectively is you're not
- 31:22Speaker 1: allowed to criticize me. I'm the Attorney General in the
- 31:23Speaker 1: United States, is pretty weird. In fact, it is an
- 31:27Speaker 1: inversion of the traditional relationship between the US government and
- 31:31Speaker 1: the population that supposedly serves. According to Americ Garland, the
- 31:36Speaker 1: onus is on American citizens to respect the FBI, obey
- 31:40Speaker 1: it's your duty. But of course that's not true. In
- 31:44Speaker 1: a democracy. The onus is on the FBI to earn
- 31:47Speaker 1: the respect of Americans. They work for, you, remember, and
- 31:53Speaker 1: lately they have not been doing a very good job,
- 31:54Speaker 1: and people know that they haven't been the public's confidence
- 31:58Speaker 1: in the FBI has plummeted by double digits in just
- 32:01Speaker 1: the last few years, and unfortunately there's a reason for that,
- 32:04Speaker 1: and it's a huge problem. We need the FBI. You
- 32:07Speaker 1: can't just defund federal law enforcement. There are a lot
- 32:11Speaker 1: of federal laws. Most of them are silly. Some of
- 32:13Speaker 1: them are not silly at all. They're very serious and
- 32:15Speaker 1: they must be enforced. So we have to have an FBI,
- 32:18Speaker 1: and it has to be an FBI we can trust,
- 32:21Speaker 1: and we can't trust it until its behavior merits trust,
- 32:25Speaker 1: until it's honest and to the extent it can be transparent,
- 32:29Speaker 1: consistent in the way it enforces the law. We have
- 32:33Speaker 1: to have a federal law enforce an agency like that.
- 32:36Speaker 1: We can't just make it go away and hope for
- 32:38Speaker 1: the best. But we're nowhere near that point because the
- 32:42Speaker 1: people are supposed to be overseeing the FBI have ignored
- 32:45Speaker 1: egregious examples of corruption over many years, but they're getting
- 32:50Speaker 1: very hard to ignore because they're just so obvious now.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And it's not just the right on mar Lago. Consider
- 32:56Speaker 1: the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping case. You may remember that story.
- 32:59Speaker 1: It's from the fall of twenty may even have followed
- 33:01Speaker 1: a little bit and hurt how it ended. I'll stop
- 33:05Speaker 1: it there because I think what you're hearing perfectly explains
- 33:10Speaker 1: what I said earlier. Right, if you defund the FBI,
- 33:14Speaker 1: does that mean we want to just get rid of
- 33:15Speaker 1: it forever. No, But there needs to be some accountability,
- 33:18Speaker 1: There needs to be some trust there. You have to
- 33:23Speaker 1: have some accountability, you have to have some trust. And
- 33:29Speaker 1: if you don't have that, then what's the point of
- 33:32Speaker 1: having in this organization. But if these people don't respond
- 33:37Speaker 1: to basic criticism when they are busted in a corrupt way,
- 33:43Speaker 1: then what else do you have besides the purse strings
- 33:46Speaker 1: to pull on and Mike Pence being a useful idiot.
- 33:50Speaker 1: And I know why you did it right. Some campaign
- 33:52Speaker 1: advisor Pence was like, look, this is a great moment
- 33:56Speaker 1: for you to distinguish yourself from Donald Trump, become your
- 33:58Speaker 1: own man, right, So come out and say this, which
- 34:01Speaker 1: will contradict them. And it was a bad move. It
- 34:05Speaker 1: was a dumb move. It's a really, really really stupid move. Right.
- 34:10Speaker 1: You gotta fight fire with fire, and the only fire
- 34:12Speaker 1: we have is funding. That's it. We have nothing else
- 34:17Speaker 1: at this point. We have funding. That's it all right. Lastly,
