- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Center Ted Cruz ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you, Senator, there is an amazing thing that's happening
- 0:08Speaker 1: right now in this country, and it is apparently, you
- 0:12Speaker 1: shouldn't be worried about Venezuelan gang members if they take
- 0:15Speaker 1: over like entire apartment complexes and start, you know, terrorizing
- 0:20Speaker 1: the residents, kicking them out, changing the locks, then charging rent,
- 0:23Speaker 1: taking over the building from the owners, and that's something
- 0:27Speaker 1: not to be concerned about. You're only supposed to be
- 0:29Speaker 1: concerned if they take over your entire city, says at
- 0:33Speaker 1: least ABC.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Well, we're seeing skyrocketing crime from illegal alien criminals that
- 0:39Speaker 2: are being released by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, including
- 0:42Speaker 2: a surge in Venezuelan crime. Venezuela Maduro is emptying out
- 0:46Speaker 2: his jails, and in particular, we're seeing Venezuelan gang members
- 0:50Speaker 2: committing crimes, committing crimes in Texas, taking over apartment complexes,
- 0:54Speaker 2: and the media, of course, is doing everything they can
- 0:56Speaker 2: to dismiss it and say there's nothing here to see,
- 0:59Speaker 2: pay no at tame to the threat to your safety.
- 1:01Speaker 2: We're going to break that down. We're also going to
- 1:03Speaker 2: step back and ask where are we in the presidential race.
- 1:06Speaker 2: We're just over three weeks out from election day. What's
- 1:09Speaker 2: likely to happen, Who's gonna win. We're gonna break it
- 1:11Speaker 2: down state by state, and finally, we're going to detail
- 1:15Speaker 2: a brand new report that my team put out in
- 1:18Speaker 2: Washington that uncovers billions of dollars that the Biden Harris
- 1:23Speaker 2: administration has diverted from scientific research to radical DEI activists.
- 1:29Speaker 2: They are funneling cash to the hard left, and they're
- 1:32Speaker 2: doing it at the expense of core scientific research. We'll
- 1:36Speaker 2: explain it all.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be very interesting to see how
- 1:39Speaker 1: much of your tax dollars have been used and abused

- 3:25Speaker 1: start by reminding people about this story and how it began.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Venezuela and gang started taking over these apartment complexes. It
- 3:38Speaker 1: happened in, for example, in Colorado. First, police are now
- 3:42Speaker 1: warning of Venezuelan gang crime in places as far away
- 3:45Speaker 1: as Wisconsin, and the media is trying to act like
- 3:49Speaker 1: this isn't even happening.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Well, it's happened in Chicago, it's happened in San Antonio, Texas.
- 3:56Speaker 2: And last week on the pod we covered two instances
- 3:59Speaker 2: of riff crime here in Texas. One in Dallas, the
- 4:03Speaker 2: woman who in her home for Venezuelan illegal immigrants broke
- 4:08Speaker 2: into her home, held her at gunpoint, tied her up,
- 4:11Speaker 2: pistol whipped her with their pistols, threatened to cut her
- 4:15Speaker 2: fingers off, and ropped her. And mind you that these Venezuelans,
- 4:20Speaker 2: they could speak no English. They were actually using Google
- 4:23Speaker 2: Translate on their phone to issue their orders. And it
- 4:26Speaker 2: was just dumb luck that one of them left a
- 4:29Speaker 2: fingerprint in the house that enabled them to be apprehended.
- 4:32Speaker 2: We also know in Houston, Jocelyn Hungary, the beautiful twelve
- 4:36Speaker 2: year old girl raped and murdered by two illegal aliens,
- 4:40Speaker 2: whom Joe Biden and Kamala Harris released, they hadn't in
- 4:43Speaker 2: their custody. They released them the very same day they
- 4:47Speaker 2: apprehended them. When we now have reports that at least
- 4:50Speaker 2: one of those two child rapist and murderers was a
- 4:54Speaker 2: gang member from Venezuela as well. And then this story
- 4:57Speaker 2: that broke this past week entitled Alleged Venezuelan gang members
- 5:02Speaker 2: arrested in Houston, San Antonio. Dallas police also say there
- 5:06Speaker 2: has been gang activity in North Dallas linked to the
- 5:09Speaker 2: trend Deer Aragua gang, and let me read to you
- 5:11Speaker 2: from the Dallas Morning News. Authorities in Houston and San
- 5:14Speaker 2: Antonio have announced the arrest of multiple people that said
- 5:17Speaker 2: to have ties to the trender Aragua, a Venezuelan gang
- 5:20Speaker 2: recently declared a terrorist organization by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Dallas Police have also said the department has had gang
- 5:27Speaker 2: activity in the North Dallas area tied to the gang
- 5:30Speaker 2: and is collaborating with other agencies to address crimes linked
- 5:33Speaker 2: to the trend aer Ragua and other gangs. According to
- 5:36Speaker 2: a Texas Department of Public Safety news release, a DPS
- 5:39Speaker 2: agent assigned to the Houston Anti Gang Center was notified
- 5:44Speaker 2: of a suspected Trendurragua member living in the Houston area.
- 5:48Speaker 2: The investigation that led to the investigators to Jorgan's Robertson Coba,
- 5:52Speaker 2: thirty two, who was wanted out of Paarland for theft.
- 5:55Speaker 2: The release said. Robertson Cova, who DPS said as a
- 5:58Speaker 2: confirmed trend Aragua member, was booked in the Brassoria County
- 6:02Speaker 2: Jail Monday on a theft charge. He remained in jail
- 6:05Speaker 2: Tuesday on a five thousand dollars bond. Police said they
- 6:08Speaker 2: were able to link robertson COVID to the trender Aragua
- 6:11Speaker 2: due to his tattoos, including a five point crown and
- 6:15Speaker 2: a rose, which police said or known TDA markings. The
- 6:20Speaker 2: arrest comes days after multiple police agencies conducted a raid
- 6:25Speaker 2: at an apartment complex in San Antonio on Saturday, arresting
- 6:29Speaker 2: nineteen people, four of whom are alleged to be members
- 6:33Speaker 2: of trendur Arragua. According to the San Antonio Express News,
- 6:37Speaker 2: the raid was conducted by the San Antonio Police DPS,
- 6:40Speaker 2: the FBI Border Patrol, and the US Department of Homeland Security.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Of those arrested, sixteen were Venezuelan citizens and three were
- 6:48Speaker 2: US citizens. The Venezuelan citizens were taken into custody by
- 6:52Speaker 2: US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Removal Operation agents after they
- 6:57Speaker 2: were processed at the Bear County Sheriff's office. This is
- 7:01Speaker 2: happening every single day. It is getting more and more
- 7:05Speaker 2: dangerous and trendi Agua originated as a South American prison gang,
- 7:11Speaker 2: and we are seeing more and more Texans and more
- 7:13Speaker 2: and more Americans across the country endangered because Joe Buden
- 7:17Speaker 2: and Kamala Harrison, the Democrats keep practicing catch and release
- 7:21Speaker 2: and releasing violent criminal gang members who wor illegal aliens.
- 7:27Speaker 1: By the way, the media is really trying to downplay this.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And there's a perfect example of this happening Sunday. We're
- 7:35Speaker 1: weeks away from the election, and on TV there was
- 7:40Speaker 1: a moment, and it was a moment where ABC was
- 7:43Speaker 1: interviewing the VP candidate at one of your colleagues incident,
- 7:47Speaker 1: Jeddie Vance, and they said that, well, you guys are
- 7:50Speaker 1: basically spreading misinformation misinformation about Venezuelan gangs, and she tried
- 7:55Speaker 1: to act like it is not a problem that is
- 7:58Speaker 1: quote taking over cities Trump described it because they haven't
- 8:02Speaker 1: actually taken over entire cities. They're just taking over entire
- 8:05Speaker 1: apartment buildings. Take a listen to this back and forth,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and this is what state sponsored media does when they
- 8:13Speaker 1: have a fix in for a kid that they're obsessed
- 8:15Speaker 1: with that.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It's a fact that Donator de Vantel, I'm just going
- 8:18Speaker 3: to say that local officials, local officials, and theme officials
- 8:21Speaker 3: say that is just flat wrong. But I want to
- 8:24Speaker 3: we play some other comments about migrants migrants, including an
- 8:28Speaker 3: Aurora in Colorado, where Trump said the city had been
- 8:31Speaker 3: invaded and conquered by Venezuelan gangs. The Republican mayor of
- 8:37Speaker 3: the city said, flatly, the city and state have not
- 8:40Speaker 3: been taken over or invaded or occupied by migrant gangs.
- 8:44Speaker 3: So do you support Donald Trump making those claims that
- 8:48Speaker 3: the Republican mayor says, we're grossly exaggerated and have hurt
- 8:52Speaker 3: the city's identity and sense of safety. I understand what
- 8:55Speaker 3: you're saying, that some people left behind, but he's making
- 8:58Speaker 3: these statements that the mayor is flat out disputing.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Well, Martha, you just said the mayor said they were exaggerated, exaggerated,
- 9:08Speaker 4: there's got to be some That means there's got to
- 9:10Speaker 4: be some element of truth here.
- 9:12Speaker 5: And of course President Trump.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Was actually in Aurora, Colorado talking to people on the ground,
- 9:17Speaker 4: and what we're hearing, of course, Martha, is that people
- 9:19Speaker 4: are terrified by what has.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Happened with some of these Venezuelan gangs. Sender evance.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'm going to stop you because I know exactly what happened.
- 9:26Speaker 6: I'm going to stop you.
- 9:27Speaker 3: The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment CONFLICTX
- 9:33Speaker 3: apartment complexes, and the mayor said, our dedicated police officers
- 9:37Speaker 3: have acted on those concerns a handful of problems.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Only, Martha, do you hear yourself?
- 9:45Speaker 4: Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken
- 9:48Speaker 4: over by Venezuelan gangs. And Donald Trump is the problem
- 9:51Speaker 4: and not Kamala Harris's open border. Americans are so fed
- 9:55Speaker 4: up with what's going on, and they have every right
- 9:58Speaker 4: to be. And I really find this exchange, Martha is
- 10:01Speaker 4: sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused
- 10:04Speaker 4: with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said, rather than
- 10:08Speaker 4: acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America
- 10:12Speaker 4: are being taken over by violent gangs. I worry so
- 10:16Speaker 4: much more about that problem than anything else here. We've
- 10:20Speaker 4: got to get American communities in a safe space again.
- 10:23Speaker 4: And unfortunately, when you let people in by the millions,
- 10:27Speaker 4: most of whom are unvetted, most of whom you don't
- 10:29Speaker 4: know who they really are, you're going to have problems
- 10:32Speaker 4: like this. Kamala Harris ninety four executive orders that undid
- 10:35Speaker 4: Donald Trump's successful border policies. We knew this stuff would happen.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Let's ragged about opening the border, and now we have
- 10:42Speaker 4: the consequences and we're living with it. We can do
- 10:45Speaker 4: so much better, but frankly, we're not going to do
- 10:47Speaker 4: better Martha unless Donald Trump calls this stuff out.
- 10:50Speaker 5: I'm glad that he did.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Okay, let's just end that with They did not invade
- 10:54Speaker 3: or take over the city, as Donald Trump said.
- 10:57Speaker 5: I want to move on.
- 10:58Speaker 4: To a few apartment complexes, no big deal.
- 11:00Speaker 3: A few apartment complexes that the mayor did not seem
- 11:03Speaker 3: was invading the entire city.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I mean, it's amazing that they're actually saying this with
- 11:08Speaker 1: a straight face, that a couple apartment complexes taken over
- 11:12Speaker 1: by criminal gangs from Venezuela is apparently supposed to be
- 11:15Speaker 1: normalized and is no big deal in America today.
- 11:20Speaker 2: So I'm actually surprised that Martha Ratits didn't finish her
- 11:23Speaker 2: questioning with I'm Kamala Harris, and I approved this message.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I mean, it was pure naked propaganda for the Democrats.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It's only a handful of complexes, you know. Now, mind you,
- 11:34Speaker 2: if you happen to live in one of those apartment
- 11:36Speaker 2: complexes that has been taken over by Venezuelan gangs that
- 11:39Speaker 2: are controlling it and terrorizing it, maybe it's a problem
- 11:41Speaker 2: for you. But you know, I mean, where the media,
- 11:44Speaker 2: what do we care about the pesky little people that
- 11:45Speaker 2: live in apartments. They don't really matter, you know what.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Martha Ratits has a very very nice home in DC.
- 11:51Speaker 2: She lives very very comfortably, So not a problem for
- 11:54Speaker 2: her if some little people have to deal with these criminals.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I mean, what an arrogant, out of touch comment. Only
- 12:03Speaker 2: a handful of apartment complexes have been taken over by
- 12:08Speaker 2: Venezuelan gangs, and she says no big deal look, I
- 12:13Speaker 2: think ABC looks utterly ridiculous in that exchange.
- 12:17Speaker 1: The other thing I think it tells you is the
- 12:19Speaker 1: fact that they believe in the idea that these gangs
- 12:25Speaker 1: should be here, and as long as they're not taking
- 12:28Speaker 1: over entire city, we're not even going to be concerned
- 12:31Speaker 1: or fight for the people. You remember when news and
- 12:34Speaker 1: some do it locally, But remember when news used to
- 12:36Speaker 1: like be the ones that would stand up for one
- 12:39Speaker 1: American where there was injustice being done in an apartment complex,
- 12:42Speaker 1: whether it was a slum ward or something like that,
- 12:44Speaker 1: or laws were being broken and quality of life was
- 12:47Speaker 1: being affected, right, they would go on TV and they
- 12:49Speaker 1: would like do a ten o'clock news story standing up
- 12:52Speaker 1: for the little guy who's standing up for the people
- 12:55Speaker 1: whose lives have been uprooted, who are being attacked. A
- 12:59Speaker 1: great example of this is there was an interview done
- 13:02Speaker 1: this week where, and I'm going to quote one of
- 13:04Speaker 1: the people that lived in the apartment complex put it
- 13:07Speaker 1: this way. They brought their country with them. They brought
- 13:10Speaker 1: the terror of living in Venezuela and gang run apartment
- 13:14Speaker 1: complex is saying no one is helping them out. An
- 13:17Speaker 1: alleged apartment takeover who quote by Venezuelan gang members in
- 13:20Speaker 1: Colorado has elevated the issue of migrant crime, and viral
- 13:24Speaker 1: video captured by the error apartment tenants has refuted attempts
- 13:28Speaker 1: by politicians and establishment media to downplay or deny that
- 13:32Speaker 1: there is actually a threat. Cindy Romeo, whose video of
- 13:36Speaker 1: armed members of Venezuelan gang patrolling and forcing her out
- 13:41Speaker 1: of her building made news, right, this is how we
- 13:43Speaker 1: know about all this, But she said, the part of
- 13:46Speaker 1: the story that people are missing is that for months
- 13:50Speaker 1: they were contacting local police and local elected officials about
- 13:57Speaker 1: the takeover as it was happening, and no one stopped it.
- 14:01Speaker 1: She said, we pleaded for months to law enforcement, pleaded
- 14:04Speaker 1: for months to elected officials for help, but those pleas
- 14:07Speaker 1: were met with a mix of a denial be in
- 14:11Speaker 1: difference and sympathetic inaction. She said, the gangs figured it
- 14:15Speaker 1: out they can continue to grow their influence inside of
- 14:19Speaker 1: her apartment complex. They forced people out by threatening them
- 14:24Speaker 1: by shooting their cars up and then bringing motorcycles into
- 14:28Speaker 1: the hallways to wake them up while they slept, until
- 14:32Speaker 1: they finally moved out. They changed the locks, and they
- 14:36Speaker 1: brought int illegals and they charged them rent. That's what
- 14:39Speaker 1: she said, is a takeover in how it happened. And
- 14:42Speaker 1: she said the worst part is everyone in the local
- 14:45Speaker 1: media acted like what we were dealing with didn't matter.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Well, and it's worse than that. There's not a single
- 14:51Speaker 2: elected Democrat that gives a flip. And that seems extreme,
- 14:56Speaker 2: but if they care, they do something about it. They're
- 14:59Speaker 2: not concerned about the victims of crime. And by the way,
- 15:02Speaker 2: many of the victims of crime, by the least, illegal
- 15:05Speaker 2: immigrants are themselves Hispanic or are African American. Because these
- 15:10Speaker 2: illegal immigrants are frequently going to low income areas that
- 15:14Speaker 2: often have a significantly higher minority population. Jocelyn Nungary was
- 15:18Speaker 2: a young Hispanic girl that that tragically is a pattern
- 15:21Speaker 2: we've seen over and over and over again, which is
- 15:26Speaker 2: the victims of murder, the victims of rape, the victims
- 15:30Speaker 2: of child rape are frequently the most vulnerable among us.
- 15:35Speaker 2: And you know, the Democrats are big on saying they
- 15:38Speaker 2: love to emote, they love to care, but if they cared,
- 15:40Speaker 2: they would do something about this. I mean, let me
- 15:42Speaker 2: ask you, Ben, have you seen a single Democrat saying
- 15:47Speaker 2: it is unacceptable to have an apartment complex or multiple
- 15:51Speaker 2: apartment complelexes, or let's use Martha Raditz's phrase, a handful
- 15:55Speaker 2: of apartment complexes taken over by violent Venezuelan gang. Have
- 16:00Speaker 2: you seen even one Democrat saying that?
- 16:02Speaker 1: No, and not only that as the woman that was
- 16:04Speaker 1: living in this apartment complex, but she said, quote, how
- 16:07Speaker 1: many gang members living right outside your door is okay?
- 16:10Speaker 1: How many gun guns right outside your door is okay?
- 16:14Speaker 1: How many motorcycles reving their engines in the middle of
- 16:17Speaker 1: the night to wake you up and your kids up
- 16:19Speaker 1: is okay.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Well, the media doesn't want you to know about it.
- 16:23Speaker 2: If they want to dismiss it, if they want to
- 16:24Speaker 2: mock at it, they want to laugh at laugh at it.
- 16:27Speaker 2: And I'll tell you look, that's one of the reasons
- 16:28Speaker 2: why moving on to our second story, where is the
- 16:31Speaker 2: presidential race right now? If you look at the real
- 16:35Speaker 2: clear politics averages of polling right now, if the election
- 16:39Speaker 2: happened right now, Donald Trump would get three hundred and
- 16:42Speaker 2: two electoral votes and Kamala Harris would get two hundred
- 16:46Speaker 2: and thirty six. That's based on the current averages. It
- 16:48Speaker 2: doesn't necessarily means that mean that's where we'll be, but
- 16:52Speaker 2: Let's break down what is the battleground and by the
- 16:55Speaker 2: way that the best way to do this is looking
- 16:59Speaker 2: at looking at the averages, because that way, if you
- 17:02Speaker 2: have particular polls that are outliers, the averages cut them out.
- 17:07Speaker 2: So let's start with Arizona. Arizona, the Real Clear Politics
- 17:12Speaker 2: average is Trump plus zero point five. Nevada, the Real
- 17:18Speaker 2: Clear Politics average is Trump plus zero point two. Wisconsin,
- 17:24Speaker 2: the average is Harris plus zero point three. Michigan the
- 17:31Speaker 2: average is Trump plus zero point nine. Pennsylvania the average
- 17:37Speaker 2: is Trump plus zero point four. North Carolina the average
- 17:42Speaker 2: is Trump plus zero point five. And Georgia the averages
- 17:48Speaker 2: Trump plus zero point five. Now, one thing that's important
- 17:52Speaker 2: to know about that every one of those is less
- 17:55Speaker 2: than a point. Those averages are close. You want to
- 17:58Speaker 2: understand why this election is close. I just went through
- 18:01Speaker 2: those seven battlegrounds on They're all within less than a
- 18:05Speaker 2: point on average, but consistently Trump is ahead in six
- 18:09Speaker 2: of the seven. And if that holds through on election day,
- 18:14Speaker 2: Trump's the next president.
- 18:16Speaker 1: You look at what you just described as Trump being
- 18:19Speaker 1: the next president. Let's let's dive into that. Before we
- 18:21Speaker 1: do that, though, I want to tell you about Patriot Mobile.
- 18:23Speaker 1: If you have a cell phone, and nine nine percent
- 18:26Speaker 1: of you do, you may not realize every month when
- 18:29Speaker 1: you pay your bill to Big Mobile where your money
- 18:31Speaker 1: is going and what it's being used for. You may
- 18:33Speaker 1: not realize it's actually going to fight against your family values,
- 18:37Speaker 1: your Christian values. Big Mobile gives massive donations to liberal causes,
- 18:43Speaker 1: candidates and organizations, radical organizations, for example, that pay for abortions.
- 18:49Speaker 1: And that's exactly why I switch several years ago to
- 18:52Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. Now, switching cell phones in twenty twenty four
- 18:56Speaker 1: is actually incredibly easy, and coverage of the past they're
- 19:01Speaker 1: long gone because now pretty much everybody uses the same
- 19:05Speaker 1: towers and the same grid. So when you switch to
- 19:08Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile, you get to keep your same cell phone number.
- 19:11Speaker 1: You get to keep your same phone you have right now,
- 19:13Speaker 1: or you can upgrade to a new one and you

- 20:36Speaker 1: a chance that Donald Trump can really win this thing.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I look at the trends right now, and when you
- 20:43Speaker 1: see Saturday Night Live, for example, making fun of Kamala Harris,
- 20:47Speaker 1: you gotta may ask yourself the Question Center. Are they
- 20:50Speaker 1: starting to hedge their bets a little bit, maybe as
- 20:54Speaker 1: she lost her mojo? Or maybe did they just they
- 20:57Speaker 1: weren't able to fake out enough Americans to believe she's
- 20:59Speaker 1: somehow this great candidate.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Well, give a listen right now to S and L
- 21:04Speaker 2: turning on Kama. It's really quite remarkable. They never turned
- 21:07Speaker 2: on Barack Obama. They were very reluctant to turn on
- 21:10Speaker 2: Joe Biden. But it's interesting that we've really seen the
- 21:13Speaker 2: late night comics recognizing just how absurd of a candidate
- 21:18Speaker 2: she is.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, they do this family feud. If you don't know
- 21:21Speaker 1: the game show, or if you want you to have
- 21:23Speaker 1: reference here, family feud. They do a mock up of that,
- 21:27Speaker 1: and it's the quote Republicans against the Democrats. And not
- 21:30Speaker 1: only do they make fun of Kamala, they make fun
- 21:32Speaker 1: of like the entire Democratic Party and Joe Biden. Take
- 21:35Speaker 1: a listen.
- 21:36Speaker 7: All right, letters the game Okay, one hundred people survey,
- 21:39Speaker 7: Top six answers on the board. Name something that you're
- 21:41Speaker 7: keeping your glove compartment BP, Harris Steve.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Look, I was raised in a middle class family.
- 21:49Speaker 5: All right, or here are we going?
- 21:51Speaker 6: Okay? My mother raised my sister and me. All right,
- 21:54Speaker 6: she worked hard and saved up, and we had a
- 21:58Speaker 6: second mother too.
- 21:59Speaker 7: Okay, did that mother have a glove compartment?
- 22:03Speaker 6: A small business owner named miss Shelton?
- 22:05Speaker 7: Okay, we got that something that you keep in your
- 22:08Speaker 7: block compartment?
- 22:09Speaker 8: Oh a glock?
- 22:10Speaker 6: See if a big oldclock?
- 22:11Speaker 7: Oh oh stap okay, so you strapped like that? All right,
- 22:18Speaker 7: show me the blip blam dickey. All right, number two answer.
- 22:25Speaker 7: The Democrats is controlling the board. Let's go on, all right,
- 22:29Speaker 7: Doug imam Off. Name something that you keep in your
- 22:33Speaker 7: glove compartment.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Oh wow, I mean I can't top that. It was
- 22:37Speaker 5: so perfect. I'll go with the same answer. Steve a glock.
- 22:43Speaker 7: Man, you want to give you the same answer. It
- 22:45Speaker 7: seemed like a bad strategy. But show me another blip
- 22:48Speaker 7: blam Dicke. That's Crainy a second god. That's the number
- 22:56Speaker 7: one answer. Damn America. All right, let's go over to
- 23:01Speaker 7: Tim Walts. Okay, something that you're keeping your glove a puppet.
- 23:03Speaker 5: This is right in my wheelhouse, in my glovebox.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I got hot hands napkins from Ronza, and gotta have
- 23:11Speaker 1: tombs in case I eat something spicy like Tomato.
- 23:15Speaker 7: If you say so, show me some white nonsense. Sorry,
- 23:22Speaker 7: not up there. Let's go over the president. Joe bidden
- 23:24Speaker 7: something that you're keeping your glovebox.
- 23:26Speaker 5: I like to buy a vow.
- 23:29Speaker 7: That is.
- 23:30Speaker 5: That's the wrong game.
- 23:31Speaker 9: Plea, Come on, Conan, what are you doing.
- 23:36Speaker 5: It's me.
- 23:37Speaker 9: I'm still the president. I'm Joe, I'm maybe older. Beat
- 23:40Speaker 9: the hell out of you, Papya. I'll give you an
- 23:43Speaker 9: uncle sandwich. You know how to do it. I can
- 23:45Speaker 9: make sandwiches. And guess what, here's the deal. I'm not
- 23:48Speaker 9: the old one now. Trump is the only difference. I
- 23:52Speaker 9: know when to walk away about six months too late.
- 23:56Speaker 7: Okay, show me whatever that was.
- 24:02Speaker 5: I mean center.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I was dying laughing when this actually happened, because I
- 24:06Speaker 1: got to see it on Saturday. I'm in real time,
- 24:09Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh my gosh. They're they're hedging their
- 24:12Speaker 1: bets right now. And not only were they making fun
- 24:14Speaker 1: of Kama, but they put the guy that they're basically
- 24:17Speaker 1: saying should have been given the VP candidacy ahead of
- 24:20Speaker 1: of wal two. They add at third in line next
- 24:23Speaker 1: to Joe Biden, like they were sending all the signals
- 24:26Speaker 1: that hey, maybe this isn't gonna work out.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Well, Look, they're they're clearly recognizing their problems and and
- 24:32Speaker 2: SNL making fun of Democrats that doesn't happen very often.
- 24:36Speaker 2: And it was actually funny one on one of the
- 24:37Speaker 2: few times SNL is funny. H And by the way,
- 24:40Speaker 2: I'm all for making fun of Republicans too. SNL has
- 24:43Speaker 2: made fun of Trump. They made fun of me a
- 24:45Speaker 2: lot of times that they It can certainly be funny
- 24:47Speaker 2: making fun of Republicans, but when it's a one sided
- 24:49Speaker 2: partisan screed, it makes it a lot less interesting that
- 24:53Speaker 2: that was. That was pretty funny. But you know, it's
- 24:55Speaker 2: interesting NBC. It's not just their their their late night
- 24:58Speaker 2: comedy that's recognized that Kamala is in trouble. Take a
- 25:02Speaker 2: listen to what NBC said on Meet the Press on Sunday.
- 25:05Speaker 8: Vice President Kamala Harris had a five point lead in
- 25:08Speaker 8: our last poll taken a month ago right after the debate.
- 25:11Speaker 8: That lead has all but evaporated.
- 25:14Speaker 6: Willie, take a look at.
- 25:15Speaker 8: This new head to head matchup forty eight percent to
- 25:18Speaker 8: forty eight percent. That is what we call a dead
- 25:22Speaker 8: locked race. It underscores what we all know that this
- 25:25Speaker 8: is tight, that the country is sharply divided. One of
- 25:30Speaker 8: the other big headlines here, people are viewing the Trump
- 25:33Speaker 8: presidency more favorably than the Biden presidency. Why is that significant?
- 25:38Speaker 5: We've seen the.
- 25:38Speaker 8: Vice president get pressed repeatedly on what she would do
- 25:41Speaker 8: differently than President Biden, and she's really struggled with that answer.
- 25:46Speaker 8: We have new reporting that will roll out on the
- 25:48Speaker 8: show this morning, Willie taking us inside the Harris campaign
- 25:52Speaker 8: where there are discussions about changing her answer on that.
- 25:55Speaker 8: Can she draw a distinction on the Middle East, for example,
- 25:58Speaker 8: on immigration? All under discussion with this razor type race.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Really, and she continues to say, I am not Joe Biden,
- 26:06Speaker 4: but you're right, so we'll have to get more specific
- 26:08Speaker 4: here down there.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I mean, that is a panic if you are the
- 26:11Speaker 1: Democratic Party, Am I wrong?
- 26:14Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 26:14Speaker 2: You can hear them.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Oh gosh.
- 26:16Speaker 2: She says she's not Joe Biden, but everyone knows she is.
- 26:19Speaker 2: She's exactly the same. But she's got to say she'll
- 26:23Speaker 2: do something better like immigration, the thing she was in
- 26:26Speaker 2: charge of the last four years she was borders are
- 26:29Speaker 2: but no, no, no, she's president. Suddenly the open border
- 26:32Speaker 2: she was in charge of won't happen. That panic is
- 26:36Speaker 2: significant and listen. This race remains incredibly close, but there
- 26:41Speaker 2: is reason to be a lot more optimistic today than
- 26:44Speaker 2: was a month ago. The poll numbers are a lot
- 26:47Speaker 2: more encouraging, and we got three weeks to go.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I want to move to another subject real quick, and
- 26:52Speaker 1: this is the reason why we do this podcast is
- 26:55Speaker 1: we get to bring you information that is not being covered,
- 26:58Speaker 1: and this is important. There was a investigation that you
- 27:03Speaker 1: guys put together in Washington that revealed and you were
- 27:08Speaker 1: the leader on this, how the Biden Harris administration diverted
- 27:13Speaker 1: billions of dollars from scientific research to DEI activists. And
- 27:21Speaker 1: for people that are listening, let's start with this, remind
- 27:23Speaker 1: them what DEI stands for. And then this story that
- 27:26Speaker 1: is broken.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Well, DEI is diversity, equity and inclusion, and it is
- 27:31Speaker 2: the catchphrase of the woke left. And let me just
- 27:36Speaker 2: give you the headline. Before Biden took office in twenty twenty,
- 27:40Speaker 2: less than one percent of the grants from the National
- 27:43Speaker 2: Science Foundation were related to AAI DII. Today that number
- 27:48Speaker 2: is greater than ten percent. So there has been a massive,
- 27:52Speaker 2: massive shift. Now what does that mean. Well, this past
- 27:55Speaker 2: week I put out a report so as you know,
- 27:58Speaker 2: I'm the ranking member on the Senate Committee of Commerce, Science,
- 28:02Speaker 2: and Transportation. That means I'm the senior Republican on the
- 28:06Speaker 2: Commerce Committee. The Commerce Committee has jurisdiction over about forty
- 28:09Speaker 2: percent of the US economy, including science, and including the
- 28:12Speaker 2: National Science Foundation. So my team engaged in a systematic
- 28:17Speaker 2: study and we put out a report examining how the
- 28:20Speaker 2: National Science Foundation has increasingly politicized the use of taxpayer
- 28:25Speaker 2: dollars meant for scientific research. And the report shows that
- 28:31Speaker 2: in its first week, the Biden Harris administration mandated that
- 28:36Speaker 2: all taxpayer funded scientific research and development must incorporate diversity,
- 28:42Speaker 2: equity and inclusion DEI values. In response to this directive,
- 28:48Speaker 2: the National Science Foundation allocated over two point zero five
- 28:54Speaker 2: billion dollars over two billion dollars to thousands of research
- 29:00Speaker 2: that promoted neo Marxist perspectives or DEI tenants, and taxpayer
- 29:06Speaker 2: dollars supported these very questionable scientific studies used by researchers
- 29:12Speaker 2: to drive extreme ideologies in the classrooms and on their campuses.
- 29:16Speaker 2: And here are the top line numbers. Our analysis identified
- 29:20Speaker 2: three thousand, four hundred and eighty three groups, over ten
- 29:24Speaker 2: percent of all National Science Foundation grants during the Biden
- 29:27Speaker 2: Harris administration that went to questionable projects promoting DEI or
- 29:32Speaker 2: pushing neo Marxist perspectives about enduring class struggle, and our
- 29:39Speaker 2: investigation grouped these grants into five categories status, social justice, gender, race,
- 29:47Speaker 2: and environmental justice. So let me get let me give
- 29:49Speaker 2: you some of the examples. So Shirin Vosugi, who was
- 29:54Speaker 2: an associate professor of Learning Sciences at Northwestern University and
- 29:58Speaker 2: a co principal investigator for a one million, thirty four thousand,
- 30:02Speaker 2: seven hundred and fifty one dollars NSF grant award in
- 30:06Speaker 2: twenty twenty three for a project titled Quote Reimagining Educator
- 30:12Speaker 2: learning Pathways through story Work for Racial Equity in STEM
- 30:18Speaker 2: and Vosugi credits Marxist traditions for her decision to teach
- 30:23Speaker 2: Quilt children quote the meaning of genocide and apartheid after
- 30:29Speaker 2: Hamas's attack against Israel. One other example, in twenty twenty three,
- 30:35Speaker 2: NSF awarded Georgia Institute of Technologies Kelly Cross ninety nine,
- 30:40Speaker 2: seven hundred and ninety one dollars to quote disrupt racialized
- 30:45Speaker 2: privilege in the STEM classroom by acknowledging quote whiteness and
- 30:52Speaker 2: white supremacy are deeply ingrained in the past, present, and
- 30:56Speaker 2: future of US higher education. Cross saw to quote subvert
- 31:01Speaker 2: these toxic systems to create a more equitable education system
- 31:06Speaker 2: and to quote initiate a national conversation about addressing racial
- 31:11Speaker 2: inequity and white supremacy in the stem, profession and classroom.
- 31:16Speaker 2: This is what your taxpayers tax dollars are going towards.
- 31:20Speaker 1: How does this happen? Where they can divert this type
- 31:23Speaker 1: of funding at this level is the question I think
- 31:26Speaker 1: most taxpayers would want to ask immediately. Like, I can
- 31:30Speaker 1: understand skimming somebody here there, but diverting billions from scientific
- 31:34Speaker 1: research to di two billion dollars, Yeah, two billion dollars
- 31:38Speaker 1: to DII activists. That's not where your tax dollurs are
- 31:41Speaker 1: supposed to go. And by the way, I think you
- 31:43Speaker 1: and I agree on this, I wouldn't want these funds
- 31:46Speaker 1: diverted to a conservative activist group either.
- 31:50Speaker 2: No, this is meant to be science, This is meant
- 31:53Speaker 2: to be saving people's lives. Let me give you another example.
- 31:56Speaker 2: In twenty twenty two, NSF awarded San Jose State University
- 32:01Speaker 2: four hundred and one thousand, seven hundred and forty four
- 32:03Speaker 2: dollars for an ongoing project to quote transform science teaching
- 32:08Speaker 2: and learning through empowering teachers and students as climate justice
- 32:13Speaker 2: action researchers and change agents. The project is meant to
- 32:18Speaker 2: foster quote the development of a hub for justice centered
- 32:21Speaker 2: science education and will produce school based materials in professional
- 32:25Speaker 2: development activities that examine the interwoven nature of climate justice
- 32:30Speaker 2: and racial justice. Now who is in charge of this well?
- 32:33Speaker 2: The principal investigator was Tammy Visentainer, who sees her classroom
- 32:40Speaker 2: as a venue for social activism. In April twenty twenty four,
- 32:44Speaker 2: Viscentainer wrote that her course Quote for aspiring middle and
- 32:49Speaker 2: high school teachers centers racial justice in science education, and
- 32:54Speaker 2: at the end of her course, she showed her student's
- 32:57Speaker 2: photos of Israel dramp dropping pamphlets inside the Gaza Strip
- 33:03Speaker 2: to warn residents to move out of the way of
- 33:05Speaker 2: incoming rocket fire. This attainer, who claimed that Hamasa's October
- 33:10Speaker 2: terror attack needed to be contextualized, explained that the photos
- 33:15Speaker 2: quote creates spaces that engage complexity in promotion of shared
- 33:20Speaker 2: dignity and humanity to build bridges across differences, But she
- 33:25Speaker 2: didn't explain what the hell they had to do with science,
- 33:28Speaker 2: which is what a National Science Foundation grant is supposed
- 33:32Speaker 2: to be about.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Incredible. Let me tell you about the International Fellowship of
- 33:37Speaker 1: Christians and Jews. October seventh was the one year mark
- 33:40Speaker 1: of the worst masker of the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Twelve hundred Israelis were murdered and more than two hundred
- 33:47Speaker 1: and fifty were taken hostage. Yet the war in Israel
- 33:50Speaker 1: rages on today with a ran firing and massive barrage
- 33:54Speaker 1: of nearly two hundred ballistic missiles earlier this month. Israel
- 33:58Speaker 1: and her people are facing it acts from enemies on
- 34:01Speaker 1: all sides. Now, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
- 34:04Speaker 1: is on the ground and they're providing critical needs for
- 34:08Speaker 1: the people. We're talking about food, shelter, and safety to
- 34:11Speaker 1: those in need during this crisis. Since the war started,
- 34:14Speaker 1: thousands of reservists every day Israeli citizens have left their
- 34:19Speaker 1: families to serve their country. Soldiers have been injured, and
- 34:22Speaker 1: their families need our support as well. And that's why
- 34:25Speaker 1: I'm asking for you to give a gift of one
- 34:27Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars to help the Fellowship provide food
- 34:31Speaker 1: and other basic necessities to these families to help them survive.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I want to say thank you to so many of
- 34:38Speaker 1: you've gotten involved, and thank you for those that are
- 34:40Speaker 1: going to give today, because the Fellowship also has a
- 34:45Speaker 1: supporter that said they will match your gift, doubling your
- 34:49Speaker 1: impact if you give right now, So join us and
- 34:53Speaker 1: letting those families know that listeners like you stand with Israel.
- 34:57Speaker 1: You can call to make your one hundred and fifty
- 34:59Speaker 1: dollars gift and it will double an impact right away
- 35:02Speaker 1: at eight eight four eight eight IFCJ that's eight eight
- 35:06Speaker 1: eight four eight eight four three two five, or you
- 35:10Speaker 1: can go online to support IFCJ dot org. That's one
- 35:16Speaker 1: word support. IFCJ dot org sent our final question on
- 35:21Speaker 1: this story that you obviously have broken uh, and it's
- 35:25Speaker 1: a big one. When these types of stories break, usually
- 35:31Speaker 1: in the past, you'd have a lot of media that
- 35:32Speaker 1: would cover it. You'd have other colleagues that would come
- 35:35Speaker 1: in and say they want to make sure this is
- 35:37Speaker 1: stopped or have rules and regulations that would help stop
- 35:42Speaker 1: it right away. When you came out with this report,
- 35:44Speaker 1: did any of the major media outlets call and say, hey,
- 35:47Speaker 1: we want this info that you're exposing or do they
- 35:49Speaker 1: just look the other way.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Well, there were a handful of stories, but they were
- 35:53Speaker 2: principally in conservative outlets because the actual corporate media doesn't
- 35:57Speaker 2: cover news. This news is in can the fact that
- 36:01Speaker 2: Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are funneling billions that's meant
- 36:05Speaker 2: to go to science, that's meant to save lives, that's
- 36:07Speaker 2: meant to promote like basic research, they're funneling it instead
- 36:12Speaker 2: to aggressively ideological, left wing activist zelots. They're using it
- 36:18Speaker 2: to corrupt students, to corrupt universities, to corrupt K through
- 36:22Speaker 2: twelve education. That is a message that the media does
- 36:26Speaker 2: not want to cover. They will actively do everything they
- 36:29Speaker 2: can to suppress, because, look, you know, what's the big
- 36:32Speaker 2: deal to stealing billions of dollars of tax paramney to
- 36:35Speaker 2: fund Marxists poisoning the minds of our kids. The next
- 36:38Speaker 2: thing you're going to you know, you're going to say,
- 36:40Speaker 2: it's a big deal that that a handful of apartment
- 36:43Speaker 2: complexes are taken over by Venezuelan gangs.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Yeah, great point.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Don't forget.
- 36:49Speaker 1: We do the show Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hit that
