- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing, I shall will jip morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the votes, come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only. Uh, Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yeah you do. Steve Harvey got a radio show. But
- 2:13Speaker 1: like I said the other day, you got something too, though,
- 2:16Speaker 1: don't you. God hadn't done something wonderful for you. You
- 2:19Speaker 1: just gotta thank Him for it, you know, in the
- 2:22Speaker 1: midst of all that's going on in my life and
- 2:24Speaker 1: in your life. You know, I always use myself as
- 2:28Speaker 1: an example because well, I mean that way. I guarantee
- 2:32Speaker 1: one hundred percent I know what I'm talking about. Um,
- 2:35Speaker 1: here's the situation, you know, with everything that's going on
- 2:39Speaker 1: in my life and all the things I'm asking God
- 2:41Speaker 1: for in the midst of a taxing and a very
- 2:48Speaker 1: trying situation that's very challenging for me right now. Man,
- 2:52Speaker 1: God just keeps on, keeps on surprising me. He keeps
- 2:58Speaker 1: doing things, And I want you to look at your life.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Or for a second, let's make two columns here. Let's
- 3:06Speaker 1: make a column of all the things you want from God.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You know, just do that throughout the course of the day.
- 3:13Speaker 1: You know, you know, run down the list of all
- 3:14Speaker 1: the things you're asking God for, all the things you're
- 3:17Speaker 1: praying for, the things you aspire to, what your dreams,
- 3:21Speaker 1: your visions, whatever it is. Just make a column a
- 3:24Speaker 1: list of all those things. Let's make three lists. And
- 3:28Speaker 1: then the second list, I want you to make a
- 3:31Speaker 1: list of everything that you've been asking God for, so
- 3:37Speaker 1: I guess that could be a little bit of the same.
- 3:40Speaker 1: But this third list, I want you to do a
- 3:41Speaker 1: check off point. I want you to do a make
- 3:44Speaker 1: a list of everything that God has given you that
- 3:48Speaker 1: you've asked him for. Just think about it like that
- 3:50Speaker 1: for a second. I may be explaining a little wrong
- 3:54Speaker 1: right now, but I'm gonna pull it together for you.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Make a list of everything you're asking God for. Just
- 4:00Speaker 1: just listed, you know. It's okay, it's a dream board.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You can call it that. I got one. It's a
- 4:05Speaker 1: vision board. You know, every everybody's got something you hope for.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Make a list. Now. I want you to make another
- 4:11Speaker 1: list of everything you've asked God for that he's given
- 4:16Speaker 1: you already. See this is a good list because sometimes
- 4:22Speaker 1: and what I've been guilty of, and maybe you two
- 4:25Speaker 1: in my request list on my dream board. I keep
- 4:29Speaker 1: focusing so hard sometimes on the what I'm yet to receive.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I keep focusing so hard on the what I hope
- 4:38Speaker 1: he gives me. I keep focusing so hard on the
- 4:42Speaker 1: things that I yet not fulfilled in my life that sometimes,
- 4:48Speaker 1: as he starts checking off my wish list, the things
- 4:52Speaker 1: I've asked for in the past that have come to
- 4:54Speaker 1: pass that he's given me, I sometimes, in praying for
- 4:59Speaker 1: what I want forget to thank him for what he's
- 5:03Speaker 1: done for me. And I'm currently in the middle of
- 5:06Speaker 1: that situation. And this morning when I woke up, I really, man,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I just got on my knees this morning and I
- 5:11Speaker 1: quit tripping for a second. I said, Man, hey, God,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you know what I really do need all them things
- 5:17Speaker 1: I'm asking for, and I really am believing that You're
- 5:20Speaker 1: gonna give it to me. But in the meantime, though, man,
- 5:23Speaker 1: have I overlooked some important details here. I had to
- 5:28Speaker 1: really look at what he's done for me. I mean, look, man,
- 5:31Speaker 1: take yourself out of it personally and look. Or you
- 5:34Speaker 1: can leave yourself in it however you want to be.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Some people can't do that, so just leave yourself in it. Then.
- 5:39Speaker 1: But man, I started looking at the eye part of me,
- 5:42Speaker 1: and I started looking around at what's happening overall. Like, man,
- 5:47Speaker 1: he has kept my family together in spite of the
- 5:51Speaker 1: attempts to tear it apart. I look at all of that.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I look at how he's blessing my children with the
- 5:56Speaker 1: desires of their heart, which I pray for my kids.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You know, I want my kids to have a better
- 6:00Speaker 1: life than I've had. I really really do. I don't
- 6:03Speaker 1: want them to take as long as it took me
- 6:06Speaker 1: to get it together. I really really don't. I'm trying
- 6:09Speaker 1: to say, hey, man, if you go to college, this
- 6:11Speaker 1: is what you can be. Don't do like your father did.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Don't go three years, drop out, throw yourself into a
- 6:15Speaker 1: spiral and then got to start to scratch all over again.
- 6:19Speaker 1: You know, And for the most part so far, you know,
- 6:23Speaker 1: they're doing quite well of it. You know, you know
- 6:25Speaker 1: they they're getting kicked around a little bit, but that's life.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I started thinking of the blessings that he's helped me
- 6:31Speaker 1: overcome with some of the previous mistakes I've made in
- 6:35Speaker 1: relationships in my life, and then I started looking about
- 6:39Speaker 1: the things he's blessed me with that I've been asking
- 6:42Speaker 1: him for. But since I've moved on from it, I
- 6:45Speaker 1: forgot to keep thinking him because I gotta always thank
- 6:48Speaker 1: God for a roof over my head, because guess what,
- 6:50Speaker 1: when I was asking for the roof and I didn't
- 6:53Speaker 1: really have it, then he gave me one that since
- 6:55Speaker 1: he gave it to me, what, I'm just cool now,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I can't ever go back to him and go, hey, man,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I really do appreciate this roof over my head because
- 7:02Speaker 1: that was a time when I was living in a car.
- 7:04Speaker 1: But see, so every morning I wake up, I gotta
- 7:07Speaker 1: remember the fact that I have a home now because
- 7:10Speaker 1: I gotta look back and go, man, that was time, Steve,
- 7:13Speaker 1: when you didn't have no home. But see, we forget
- 7:15Speaker 1: what God has done for us because in our column
- 7:19Speaker 1: that won't column, the need column, we oftentimes forget for
- 7:25Speaker 1: the columns and the check marks. As He's already fulfilled
- 7:28Speaker 1: in our life. You've got to take inventory every now
- 7:32Speaker 1: and then daily if possible. But I know we're humans.
- 7:36Speaker 1: We're not gonna do that. I don't. But you've got
- 7:39Speaker 1: to take inventory of your life to say, hey, what
- 7:43Speaker 1: has God done for me? You know? And remember something
- 7:47Speaker 1: else too. Change is good, but change is challenging. Accept
- 7:53Speaker 1: the challenge that it is. Look a lot of you
- 7:56Speaker 1: come up to me all the time and say, Steve Man, man,
- 8:00Speaker 1: boy you in the morning. Man, I really be needing that,
- 8:04Speaker 1: Like I under said it a hundred times, but I'm
- 8:05Speaker 1: gonna say it again, y'all. I'd be needing it too.
- 8:09Speaker 1: You know. You understand sometimes what God is dealing with
- 8:13Speaker 1: me is for me. But now I'm in a sharing
- 8:17Speaker 1: position where I can open up and if I just
- 8:20Speaker 1: if I just quit being so about me and become
- 8:23Speaker 1: a little bit more transparent, I can maybe some of
- 8:26Speaker 1: me that's happening to me is happening to you, and
- 8:29Speaker 1: you can see some of this in me. That's why
- 8:31Speaker 1: I use myself as an example, because man, I'm catching
- 8:34Speaker 1: it too, y'all. I ain't perfect either. So for those
- 8:38Speaker 1: of you that come up to me and say that
- 8:40Speaker 1: I want you to understand these these talks in the morning. Man,
- 8:43Speaker 1: this is important for me because man, I need these
- 8:47Speaker 1: conversations from God. I need God to continue to strengthen me,
- 8:52Speaker 1: to show me the way, to help me understand what's
- 8:55Speaker 1: happening to me. And see, as we've all those of
- 8:59Speaker 1: you who have may the decision to change, to become
- 9:02Speaker 1: a better person, a better woman, a better boy, a
- 9:04Speaker 1: better girl, a better man. For those of you have
- 9:06Speaker 1: made the decision to change, change is a challenge, and
- 9:09Speaker 1: accept the challenge because it's gonna come. Because right out
- 9:12Speaker 1: of that here come to haters. It ain't come people
- 9:15Speaker 1: you don't even know, discussing your life and your change.
- 9:19Speaker 1: If God see you really really mean what you say
- 9:22Speaker 1: in spite of what they say about you, God will
- 9:26Speaker 1: raise you above the phrase. He'll keep promoting you. He'll
- 9:30Speaker 1: keep blessing you, He'll keep moving you up. He will
- 9:33Speaker 1: use you as a show off point. He'll show your
- 9:37Speaker 1: off man. He'll make you. He'll make you look good
- 9:40Speaker 1: to people, man, who wish you'd fall all day long,
- 9:43Speaker 1: and so to all your haters, all your haters will
- 9:46Speaker 1: end up just watching you rise. Man, They will watch
- 9:48Speaker 1: you continue to grow. That's what God will do for you. Man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: you can fool the world, but you can't fool God.
- 9:54Speaker 1: God know your heart, He know your every thought. Man,
- 9:58Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Morday Morning Show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:05Speaker 1: it is upon us. The arrival of a new day
- 10:09Speaker 1: is here. The Lord has blessed us to come along.
- 10:15Speaker 1: We are great fault, were respect folk, and were ever watchful. I,
- 10:23Speaker 1: for one, would like to say that God is in
- 10:27Speaker 1: control and I'm gonna let him do it the way
- 10:30Speaker 1: he gonna do it. I am in be Steel mode
- 10:34Speaker 1: today all the way through Friday. I'm in be Steel mode.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I am just in a position where I just got
- 10:42Speaker 1: to let God handle. Listening is bigger than me. So
- 10:44Speaker 1: I'm in be Steel mode. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Sherley Strawberry. Don't move, Steve be Steel. Good morning, Colin
- 10:54Speaker 1: for RelA still good morning. What up, Junior? Oh blessing?
- 11:01Speaker 1: Highly favorite movie in the right direction, Nephew, tell me
- 11:05Speaker 1: your side? Still wait on, wait on, wait on. That's
- 11:11Speaker 1: hard to do. Sometimes I ain't gonna tell you know
- 11:13Speaker 1: what because you want to raise your voice in your
- 11:18Speaker 1: hand and do something, to say something, but ain't you
- 11:21Speaker 1: ain't a long time. Yeah, he ain't taking a smite
- 11:28Speaker 1: it them know, you got the pull. I mean I
- 11:34Speaker 1: ain't saying like smite hasn't killed, but you know, like
- 11:37Speaker 1: a light stroke them up a little bit. Like you
- 11:42Speaker 1: know right now, fall down some steps, get your hand
- 11:46Speaker 1: ran over by the bus. You know you you know
- 11:51Speaker 1: your hand, you know how you break your fall with
- 11:53Speaker 1: your hand and the bush just run over both your
- 11:55Speaker 1: wrists stuff like that, you know, not his hand. You're
- 12:01Speaker 1: waiting on him to bless you, remember, I am, I
- 12:04Speaker 1: would just you know, That's why I was saying, this
- 12:06Speaker 1: is why I don't do that other stuff. I don't
- 12:08Speaker 1: ask for stuff like I get the fitting that you
- 12:11Speaker 1: are not one of these people that pray for your enemies.
- 12:13Speaker 1: You're not. You don't do that. Oh I'm not at
- 12:16Speaker 1: that level of Christianity when that's gonna happen, I know. Yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: when you look at that with it, I having sixty
- 12:27Speaker 1: phob Yeah, you're talking about that advanced Christianity, basic Christianity,
- 12:36Speaker 1: basically Christianity four or five no, no, the one no,
- 12:41Speaker 1: no basics like you know, stuff like you know, doing
- 12:45Speaker 1: to others as you would have and do one to you.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Now that that's a look. That's that's it. You're getting
- 12:52Speaker 1: into advanced now. Once you throw them enemies in there,
- 12:57Speaker 1: that's advanced Christianity to pray for you. I shall covet
- 13:01Speaker 1: that neighbor's wife, and I'm stay I can honor that
- 13:04Speaker 1: when I do that, you know, but you know thou
- 13:07Speaker 1: should not kill that basic. I'm good with that one.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Ain't gotta kill nobody, you know, but nine you know,
- 13:13Speaker 1: oh the chief, Oh no, that's it. Fans, you're asking it.
- 13:25Speaker 1: You're coming strong school right your life at PhD right there?

- 14:06Speaker 1: been together. When he's gone, I can't lie, I sneak
- 14:10Speaker 1: around with my ex boyfriend, and now that I am
- 14:13Speaker 1: Now that I am pregnant, I'm not sure who the
- 14:16Speaker 1: father is. My boyfriend already has three children, so he
- 14:20Speaker 1: won't be happy about this. My ex just got married,
- 14:23Speaker 1: so it would be bad all the way around. If
- 14:26Speaker 1: it's his child. Should I stay with my jailbird boyfriend
- 14:29Speaker 1: and let him raise the child? Or tell my ex
- 14:33Speaker 1: ain't raising from? Where? What does he do? What do
- 14:39Speaker 1: you zoom me? You've been winning four years. He's been
- 14:46Speaker 1: locked up most of the focus. He keeps violating probation.
- 14:49Speaker 1: He can't he can't stay away from nothing. Now, so

- 14:57Speaker 1: know who baby it did X man, But your ex
- 15:01Speaker 1: is married. So let me get this right. You just
- 15:06Speaker 1: can't get the right kind of dude. The one you won't,
- 15:12Speaker 1: you say you won't is in jail. The one you
- 15:16Speaker 1: went is madder. Yeah, now you pregnant. You don't know
- 15:20Speaker 1: which one it is? Right? And she says her boyfriend
- 15:23Speaker 1: and jail won't be happy because he already has three kids.
- 15:26Speaker 1: The hell you're worrying about him being happy? For about
- 15:30Speaker 1: the pregnant Why he can't worry about him. He got
- 15:35Speaker 1: other issues. He feen to be mad because you're pregnant. Yeah,

- 15:45Speaker 1: I gotta get itself together. He gotta quit violating. He
- 15:49Speaker 1: got he gotta come out of here and do right now.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I know, I know. Don't get me wrong that that violation.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Probation can be for anything. I mean, they can come
- 15:58Speaker 1: set you down for anything. You can't be in the
- 16:00Speaker 1: presence and nobody would a weapon, you can't be in
- 16:03Speaker 1: the president, nobody would a record. You can't be within
- 16:06Speaker 1: so much distance of this, that and the other. You
- 16:09Speaker 1: can't get a ticket. You can't do nothing me on probation.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It was easy to violin, you know, but you got
- 16:17Speaker 1: you need to start picking better, baby, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 16:20Speaker 1: yeah yeah, all right. Moving on, Kelsey and Richmond, Virginia says,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I'm a thirty year old hairstylist and one of my
- 16:27Speaker 1: clients is messing with a married man. That man's wife
- 16:31Speaker 1: comes to another stylist in the salon and threw other
- 16:34Speaker 1: gossiping women in the salon. They found out about each other.
- 16:38Speaker 1: While my client was under the dryer. Saturday, someone keyed
- 16:42Speaker 1: her car and wrote on it with a permanent marker.
- 16:45Speaker 1: My customer thinks me and the other stylists should pay
- 16:48Speaker 1: for this damage because she's too ashamed to file an
- 16:52Speaker 1: insurance claim. Am I liabel since it was on my property? No? Whoa, No,
- 16:58Speaker 1: you're not liable for the car get stolen on your property. No,
- 17:04Speaker 1: she has insurance. Her insurance is liable for that. You're
- 17:10Speaker 1: not liable for that. I don't see how you liable
- 17:12Speaker 1: for that on your property. Anything. Cartels usually happened somewhere
- 17:18Speaker 1: around somebody property all the time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, So
- 17:25Speaker 1: I don't know what to do something to. You're tripping,
- 17:32Speaker 1: you know what. You you're worrying about car. You're trying
- 17:34Speaker 1: to get liability put on the what the little girl?

- 17:48Speaker 1: So let's see what Sherry and Cincinnati is saying. She writes,
- 17:51Speaker 1: I have a weird situation with my next door neighbor.
- 17:54Speaker 1: He plays his saxophone all hours of the day and night,
- 17:58Speaker 1: and I've complained to him and management. He came over
- 18:02Speaker 1: the other day with a peace offering, and it was
- 18:04Speaker 1: not what I expected. He said, clearly there's sexual tension
- 18:09Speaker 1: with us, and he gave me a long and passionate kiss.
- 18:14Speaker 1: He said he's ready for sex whenever I am, and
- 18:17Speaker 1: he left my apartment. I want him so badly now.
- 18:22Speaker 1: But I've never been in a situation like this. Is
- 18:25Speaker 1: it a bad idea to have sex with a neighbor? Movie?
- 18:33Speaker 1: Just go away? You think it was gonna go I
- 18:37Speaker 1: thought he came over, there was some weed or some
- 18:39Speaker 1: heathen came over there, tom kissing. I like, then he left. Well,

- 19:11Speaker 1: mean if you single and he's single. He just came
- 19:14Speaker 1: over and just mouth kissed your real hard I'm talking
- 19:20Speaker 1: about hard anybody. And and he what instrument is he blowing? Oh? Yeah, yeah,
- 19:29Speaker 1: he had his tongue way down your throat, his tongue
- 19:35Speaker 1: being on weeds and stuff all here. War girl, girl,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you've been a saxophone kids, you've been going up in
- 19:46Speaker 1: here all of a sudden, you girls, it's inevitable. I
- 19:49Speaker 1: don't even know why you wrote this. You already noticed
- 19:51Speaker 1: what you do. You just said you want him so bad?
- 19:54Speaker 1: What's stopping you want? Already noticed? Gonna pop all but
- 20:01Speaker 1: I don't like he blow one more damn note and
- 20:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna go over there and straighten all this out.
- 20:09Speaker 1: You blow that hard again, and see, don't I come

- 21:48Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour, but right now,
- 21:50Speaker 1: the nephew is here, would run that brank back? What
- 21:52Speaker 1: you got for a nap? Your daughter bit my son?
- 21:57Speaker 1: I was sad again. I'm gonna say your daughter, I
- 22:00Speaker 1: bit my son. Let what happens? Hello? Hello, I seek?
- 22:08Speaker 1: This is this is Look do you do you do
- 22:13Speaker 1: your daughter go to the little academy? Yes? Who's this?
- 22:17Speaker 1: And her name is? Yes? Who's this? Listen your daughter
- 22:20Speaker 1: and bit my son? Uh. Joshua went on the back.
- 22:25Speaker 1: This is Wilton, your daughter the bit my son. You
- 22:30Speaker 1: can't just call my house and tell me my daughter
- 22:32Speaker 1: bit your say and be cussing at me. Lady, I
- 22:34Speaker 1: just said, your daughter Sakira bit my son. Joshua in
- 22:38Speaker 1: the back, and I just let no. I just said
- 22:40Speaker 1: no two things. One my daughter wouldn't bite nobody, and two,
- 22:43Speaker 1: don't call my house with this tone. I called with
- 22:46Speaker 1: any kind of tone. What I want to call with.
- 22:48Speaker 1: All I'm saying is your daughter then bit my son
- 22:51Speaker 1: in the back. And I'm gonna tell you. All I'm
- 22:53Speaker 1: saying is don't call my house with this attitude, saying
- 22:57Speaker 1: some that my daughter beat your child in the back.
- 23:00Speaker 1: My daughder has manners and she wouldn't be biting nobody
- 23:02Speaker 1: in the back. Did you know, somebody, how the hell
- 23:06Speaker 1: you know what your daughter gonna be doing? If you
- 23:08Speaker 1: ain't there my daughter, you're raised she ain't you just
- 23:14Speaker 1: come in one month and trying to do some kind
- 23:16Speaker 1: of daddy work, nor dad? But four years old? How
- 23:19Speaker 1: nailed you? Don't you know how that? Damn well? I've
- 23:21Speaker 1: been with her for four years? What you being? My
- 23:24Speaker 1: daughter does not be biting people around in the back
- 23:26Speaker 1: of the neck or anything like that. What the hell
- 23:28Speaker 1: is wrong with you? Don't call my house with his attitude?
- 23:31Speaker 1: You where I get? What? Who? I don't? Hell? You
- 23:33Speaker 1: figure I'm a weekend daddy. I'm calling you about what's
- 23:36Speaker 1: going on with my child. But I don't think you
- 23:38Speaker 1: got your facts straight. So next time you call somebody
- 23:41Speaker 1: to tell them about the child, figure out everything about
- 23:44Speaker 1: your child first. All I'm saying is that the people
- 23:47Speaker 1: at the academy said, Sekia bit my son. Joshua were
- 23:50Speaker 1: in the back. Well, I can't understand what you're saying
- 23:53Speaker 1: because I don't like your tongue. So don't call me
- 23:55Speaker 1: about my baby. Have her mama called me? It does
- 23:59Speaker 1: ain't no difference for mama or daddy called long with somebody,
- 24:01Speaker 1: call hello, call her back down? Hello? Is this Carol?
- 24:07Speaker 1: This is Why are you hanging up on me? Why
- 24:09Speaker 1: are you still calling me? And why are you yelling
- 24:11Speaker 1: at me? My child didn't bite your child in the back.
- 24:15Speaker 1: When I picked up my child, they didn't say to
- 24:16Speaker 1: me your child is body in the back. My child
- 24:20Speaker 1: with my child every day, Like I said in the
- 24:22Speaker 1: first lady, you must be some kind of weekend daddy.
- 24:25Speaker 1: How can I know my child? I'm with my child
- 24:27Speaker 1: every day? How you are you? I'm with my I
- 24:31Speaker 1: don't even know who Joshua is. She should have just
- 24:33Speaker 1: hit him in the head. Ain't what you ain't gonna do?
- 24:35Speaker 1: And city and talk about my baby. Now you asked
- 24:37Speaker 1: me to lower my child. I know what I'm gonna do.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna hang up one Hello Hello called call her
- 24:47Speaker 1: back cat Hello, don't hang up on me no more,
- 24:51Speaker 1: Lady again, I'm gonna call you until you tell me
- 24:55Speaker 1: why are you yo? Child is to bite my child
- 24:58Speaker 1: in the back. I am not in the moved to
- 25:00Speaker 1: play with you right now. You're gonna miss d did
- 25:02Speaker 1: you and your child shoop? You and your child? Who
- 25:05Speaker 1: you don't? Whoa? Whoa? Guess what Shakira got? He? Daddy?
- 25:09Speaker 1: You talking about whipping somebody? Daddy? No, don't you else
- 25:13Speaker 1: to say? You can't call my house and threaten me
- 25:15Speaker 1: and my jo If my child beat up child, that's
- 25:19Speaker 1: what your child deserved. He got whoop daughter? Whooped your son?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Just finally want me to laught trying the little fast
- 25:26Speaker 1: not in those kids? Isna be talking about? When fake facts?
- 25:31Speaker 1: She didn't bite them in the back. She might have whooken,
- 25:34Speaker 1: but my dadda don't play now like what keep talking?
- 25:40Speaker 1: You found my phone number, find my address and have kids?
- 25:43Speaker 1: Daddy beat you? What I said? Bring your phone over again?
- 25:48Speaker 1: My babies the sacred with your babies, my baby. Daddy
- 25:51Speaker 1: gonna whip y'all. Bring it on. I'm coming over there,
- 25:54Speaker 1: beat you and your child. You don't call a woman
- 25:57Speaker 1: and telling you coming over to beat behind child. You
- 26:00Speaker 1: come up here and beat her. Daddy, Come over here
- 26:02Speaker 1: and be shakis. Daddy. He don't he don't want nothing

- 26:08Speaker 1: over without nothing. Bring somebody gonna get day daddy. He
- 26:15Speaker 1: ain't got no damn job. He got a job. Y'all
- 26:19Speaker 1: gonna make me come over without a night. Bring it
- 26:21Speaker 1: on right now. You know you know what. I'm gonna
- 26:23Speaker 1: tell you something. I'm gonna tell me something else. You're
- 26:27Speaker 1: gonna get bit and your baby gonna get bit too.
- 26:29Speaker 1: You gonna me and my baby gonna whoop? Yo? Can
- 26:33Speaker 1: I say something to you? Say something to me then,
- 26:36Speaker 1: nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 26:40Speaker 1: got prank? You? Oh I am shame. Ye just got prank.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Your sister Glinda told me she said nothing, but they
- 26:54Speaker 1: could give me. She said get She said you always
- 26:57Speaker 1: and never get me that. Oh I told that wouldn't
- 27:01Speaker 1: happen to me. But you can't call somebody talk about
- 27:03Speaker 1: that baby. That's that's where kim mad. Don't don't call
- 27:12Speaker 1: nobody about that. How you got my hearth hearted? Look?
- 27:15Speaker 1: Can I ask you something? Let me ask you what
- 27:17Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the land, Steve Harvey
- 27:22Speaker 1: Morning Show? You how y'all think I did? I mean,
- 27:28Speaker 1: you know, you know, on a grade from one to ten,
- 27:32Speaker 1: you on a scale of one to ten, you know
- 27:34Speaker 1: what how I do? Okay? You broke the scale. Okay, yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 1: on the stupid scale of one to ten. I just
- 27:44Speaker 1: like to know I'm doing good, you know. Oh, by
- 27:47Speaker 1: the way, I did add a show, a two o'clock
- 27:50Speaker 1: PM show in um Um, Virginia Beach at the Funny Bone.

- 27:57Speaker 1: that's the chron folk ten. Come in, get on in,
- 28:00Speaker 1: get only, get on out like that, all right. And
- 28:02Speaker 1: they're going fast, all right. They're already halfway sol lot,
- 28:04Speaker 1: so we ain't got much time, all right, Sunday almost
- 28:07Speaker 1: round the corner. So get your tickets. Way to getting
- 28:09Speaker 1: as good. The nephew, his own way, stupid is back

- 28:15Speaker 1: as COVID died, down, Stupid, come back out. You see
- 28:17Speaker 1: what I'm saying. That's how it worked. That's how it worked.
- 28:19Speaker 1: COVID died down, Stupid, come back out. But stupid wasn't stupid.
- 28:22Speaker 1: When Kovid was here, Stupid had some sense. Stupid satday

- 28:33Speaker 1: how to sit down and wait your turn. Everyone has.

- 29:07Speaker 1: Stupid gonna be out of coming up at the top
- 29:11Speaker 1: of the hour. We'll have some entertainment and national news
- 29:14Speaker 1: for you right after this. Yeah, you're listening. Hey, everybody,
- 29:23Speaker 1: we want to give us special congratulations to our special guests.
- 29:26Speaker 1: We told you we'd have him today. Uh. He is
- 29:29Speaker 1: now the senior advisor to President Biden and the Director
- 29:33Speaker 1: of the White House Office of Public Engagement, and he's
- 29:37Speaker 1: joining us this morning to highlight some of the points
- 29:39Speaker 1: from the President's recent voting right speaks, and he's got
- 29:42Speaker 1: some great news for our HBCUs and we're looking forward
- 29:45Speaker 1: to the child tax credit checks. We're gonna find out
- 29:48Speaker 1: all about that. So let's get to it. Please, welcome
- 29:50Speaker 1: back a friend of the Morning Show senior advisor, mister
- 29:54Speaker 1: Cedric Richmond. Yes, yeah, yeah, Steve and the team. Thank
- 30:02Speaker 1: you all for having me and thanks for what you do.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Oh no, man, thank you. Hey. Listen, let's get right
- 30:07Speaker 1: to it, because on Tuesday, President Biden he gave a
- 30:10Speaker 1: major voting right speech in Philly, and he spoke about
- 30:14Speaker 1: the big lie with the twenty twenty election, and he
- 30:17Speaker 1: called it the most examined and most undemocratic election in
- 30:21Speaker 1: the history of this nation. So let's let's let's talk
- 30:25Speaker 1: about that for a second. What was the takeaway for
- 30:29Speaker 1: Americans who were listening to this speech? What should they
- 30:32Speaker 1: walked away with on this thing? But part of the
- 30:36Speaker 1: purpose of the speech was to highlight exactly what's going on.
- 30:40Speaker 1: People who live in Georgia they understand and they see its.
- 30:43Speaker 1: People in Texas they feel it. But you know, and
- 30:46Speaker 1: I know what our community. We have so many families
- 30:49Speaker 1: that are just busting the butts every day to keep
- 30:51Speaker 1: a roof over their head, close on their back, and
- 30:54Speaker 1: food on the table that they may not know. So
- 30:57Speaker 1: part of it was for the President to let everybody
- 31:00Speaker 1: know the vicious attack that is on the right to vote,
- 31:05Speaker 1: and that it is an insult on our democracy, that
- 31:07Speaker 1: we're not gonna take it, and that we are doing
- 31:11Speaker 1: stuff about it. The twenty five million to the DNC
- 31:14Speaker 1: to fight voter suppression. That Attorney General has doubled the
- 31:17Speaker 1: size of the voting Rights section in the Department of Justice.
- 31:23Speaker 1: We have he initiated suit in certain states, and we're
- 31:28Speaker 1: going to take every tool at our disposed of approach
- 31:32Speaker 1: to fighting what the Republicans are doing. But people need
- 31:35Speaker 1: to know so that they can be prepared. Let me
- 31:39Speaker 1: ask you this, sir, where are are the Republicans getting
- 31:48Speaker 1: this much support from Is it just that the Senators
- 31:52Speaker 1: are pulling this off, or do they have the wheel
- 31:55Speaker 1: of their constituents behind them. I'm just gonna give it
- 31:58Speaker 1: to you, is honestly as I possibly can. It is
- 32:02Speaker 1: for the most part, these Republican legislatures that instead of
- 32:08Speaker 1: arguing ideas, they're appeasing Trump and his supporters to think
- 32:13Speaker 1: that somebody stole this election. So these elected officials that
- 32:20Speaker 1: lack ideas and substance, the way to get popular is
- 32:25Speaker 1: to just adopt Trump's mantra, his story, his lie, go
- 32:31Speaker 1: hug Trump, and it's working. It's part of what we
- 32:35Speaker 1: want to do is educate people on it's just not true.
- 32:40Speaker 1: He's you know, don't drink the kool aid. It is
- 32:43Speaker 1: what he's saying. It is not true. And these state
- 32:47Speaker 1: legislators around here are trying to do exactly what Trump did,
- 32:51Speaker 1: just so that they can ride to popularity to a
- 32:54Speaker 1: bigger office. You know, that's the sad thing about college today. Man,
- 33:00Speaker 1: this really has a sour taste in a lot of
- 33:04Speaker 1: people's mouths. But I will say this about this voter
- 33:08Speaker 1: suppression that they are pulling. Here, we are listening to
- 33:12Speaker 1: our leadership, such as yourself. We are in a holding pattern,
- 33:16Speaker 1: ready to act and activate. We are on the radio, myself,
- 33:23Speaker 1: Ricky Smiley, deal, Hughley. We're all committed to this on
- 33:27Speaker 1: one accord. We are not enemies in this cause right here.
- 33:32Speaker 1: We are because they woke up a sleeping giant in Georgia,
- 33:35Speaker 1: in Detroit and Milwaukee, in Philly. They woke up and
- 33:40Speaker 1: now we know that our vote really does matter. So
- 33:42Speaker 1: whatever they do, it's not going to work. We're going
- 33:46Speaker 1: to register and we're going to get the right documentation.
- 33:49Speaker 1: We're gonna be prepared. So I just want you to
- 33:52Speaker 1: know that we are listening to the leadership and what
- 33:55Speaker 1: we need to do to counter what's going on up
- 33:58Speaker 1: there in DC. This is crazy, man, it really really is.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I'll just tell you that if anything like my family
- 34:06Speaker 1: or even at the dinner table, I may not want it,
- 34:09Speaker 1: I may not use it, but I'm not gonna let
- 34:13Speaker 1: you take it. And what they're about to find out
- 34:15Speaker 1: is if they think they're gonna come in here and
- 34:17Speaker 1: take the right to vote from black and brown people
- 34:19Speaker 1: in this country, they have another thing coming. And we're
- 34:22Speaker 1: gonna put up the money, we're gonna put up the tools,
- 34:24Speaker 1: and we're gonna lead the effort to make sure that
- 34:27Speaker 1: it backfires. They tried it in twenty they tried it
- 34:31Speaker 1: in twenty twenty, and we got eighty one million votes, right,
- 34:36Speaker 1: but that doesn't make it right. And we're gonna still
- 34:39Speaker 1: fight for it right exactly, and we need that and
- 34:42Speaker 1: we appreciate that. Hey, let's talk about another part of
- 34:44Speaker 1: the speech, because you know, historically, you know, Black colleges
- 34:48Speaker 1: and university you know, which we so lovingly call HBCUs.
- 34:52Speaker 1: They've been underfunded for decades as billions have billions of
- 34:57Speaker 1: dollars have been with Hell. But that could be changing though,
- 35:01Speaker 1: how so uh uh uh Senior Advisor Richmond, first of all,
- 35:06Speaker 1: just call me Cedric. Let's I can't do that. The
- 35:10Speaker 1: titles too big. I can't let that go side. I
- 35:13Speaker 1: got to say it. I don't get to talk to
- 35:16Speaker 1: many of y'all. I'm gonna I'm flexing for my boys
- 35:19Speaker 1: up in Cleveland that can't believe I'm talking to you.
- 35:23Speaker 1: So no, just like your mama got the business card,
- 35:27Speaker 1: I guessed to do this. Hell, So go ahead, Senior
- 35:30Speaker 1: Advisor or Cedric, you know what. I'm gonna let you
- 35:37Speaker 1: get away with that because you're alone suffering Brown's Fane.
- 35:43Speaker 1: You know, I want to talk to you about something.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Hold on one second, or we got Senior Advisor Cedric
- 35:47Speaker 1: or Richmond on the phone. We're gonna take a break.
- 35:49Speaker 1: When we come back, I want you all to stay
- 35:51Speaker 1: with us because we're gonna talk about something that's gonna
- 35:53Speaker 1: affect a lot of the families out there. There's a
- 35:55Speaker 1: huge child tax credit for families that qualified. We're gonna
- 35:59Speaker 1: find out what that is, so make sure you don't
- 36:01Speaker 1: gonna know where. We'll be right back. You're listening, all right, everybody,
- 36:07Speaker 1: We're back and we got our special guests this morning.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Senior Advisor Cedric Richmond is with us. Today. We've been
- 36:14Speaker 1: talking about the voting rights. We've been talking about the
- 36:17Speaker 1: huge four point two billion dollar package that has been
- 36:20Speaker 1: has been given to HBCUs. The Biden administration has forgiven
- 36:26Speaker 1: one point six billion in loans and debt and invested
- 36:31Speaker 1: another two point six billion, and which is a huge
- 36:35Speaker 1: shot in the arm for our community. And not to
- 36:38Speaker 1: mention the relief that's been provided to black farmers and
- 36:42Speaker 1: the tune to the tune to five billion dollars. So
- 36:45Speaker 1: here's what I asked everybody to hold on for. It's
- 36:48Speaker 1: the huge child tax credit for families that qualify. Tell
- 36:53Speaker 1: us exactly who qualifies for this tax credit. Most of
- 36:58Speaker 1: the families in this country that have children are going
- 37:01Speaker 1: to see are going to receive a tax credit. And
- 37:05Speaker 1: what we did this year is we're not going to
- 37:08Speaker 1: make people wait to the end of the year five
- 37:09Speaker 1: taxes to get the money because children eat every month,
- 37:13Speaker 1: need clothes every month, and we're gonna meet the crisis
- 37:18Speaker 1: that's dead. So what we're doing is for those families
- 37:21Speaker 1: that qualify, if you make under sixty thousand dollars to
- 37:24Speaker 1: fully qualify, your tax credit will be seventy two hundred dollars.
- 37:29Speaker 1: We're going to give you thirty two hundred dollars spread
- 37:32Speaker 1: out over the last six months of the year. So
- 37:34Speaker 1: starting today, people will start getting checks for three hundred
- 37:38Speaker 1: dollars for every kid that they have under six, two
- 37:41Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars for every kid over six ft
- 37:44Speaker 1: under eighteen every month until the end of the year.
- 37:48Speaker 1: And part of what we're fighting for in the families
- 37:51Speaker 1: plan to not make that just for this year, but
- 37:54Speaker 1: to make it to extend it out because just by
- 37:57Speaker 1: doing this, Steve, and this is the important part, we're
- 38:00Speaker 1: going to reduce child poverty in this country this year
- 38:03Speaker 1: by fifty percent. We're going to reduce black poverty in
- 38:07Speaker 1: this country this year by thirty eight percent. And so
- 38:13Speaker 1: we want to make sure that for those people who
- 38:16Speaker 1: file taxes, they're gonna get a check starting to day.
- 38:19Speaker 1: For those people who filled out the documents so that
- 38:22Speaker 1: they could get the emergency relief. They're gonna get a
- 38:25Speaker 1: check today for people who don't make enough to have
- 38:29Speaker 1: to file taxes. We want them to know, go on
- 38:34Speaker 1: TI tax Credit dot gov, fill out the paperwork because
- 38:38Speaker 1: we're gonna start sending you a check every month. And
- 38:42Speaker 1: we don't want any family to not take advantage of
- 38:47Speaker 1: this seventy two hundred dollars thirty six hundred and payments
- 38:51Speaker 1: over the next six months. We want people to get
- 38:54Speaker 1: this relief. That's why we did it. We want them
- 38:56Speaker 1: to know that government works for them. We understand the
- 38:59Speaker 1: pain that they're going through, and we're going to help
- 39:03Speaker 1: them through it. And so that's why your show is
- 39:06Speaker 1: so important, because you have people out there that are
- 39:09Speaker 1: listening that are gonna laugh. You're gonna make them laugh,
- 39:12Speaker 1: but at some point you're gonna give them enough information
- 39:15Speaker 1: to really make them go on the internet make sure
- 39:17Speaker 1: they get this money so that their kids at the
- 39:20Speaker 1: end of the day will benefit from it. Hey, everybody,
- 39:23Speaker 1: hang on one second, we're talking with senior Advisors Cedric Richmond.
- 39:27Speaker 1: We'll be right back with more. You're listening. Hey, we're back.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Everybody in our special Guests this morning to Senior Advisors
- 39:37Speaker 1: Cedric Richmond, H, this is what's really impressed me about
- 39:41Speaker 1: the Biden administration. It isn't just talk everybody. There's actual
- 39:46Speaker 1: things being done, actual dollars coming directly to you. You
- 39:51Speaker 1: don't have to guess HBCUs you know what that is,
- 39:55Speaker 1: Family tax credit, that's your family, that's your family, and
- 40:01Speaker 1: so you know these are things, man, that that we
- 40:04Speaker 1: benefit directly from. And we're going to remember that in
- 40:08Speaker 1: the upcoming mere term elections. We're not gonna just remember
- 40:12Speaker 1: it in the primary elections. We're gonna remember it in
- 40:15Speaker 1: all elections. We're gonna remember it. Because Kemp down in
- 40:18Speaker 1: Georgia just announced he's gonna run up If Stacy Abmans
- 40:22Speaker 1: opens her mouth and time and say she gonna run, watch,
- 40:27Speaker 1: watch us show you something. So, I mean, what the
- 40:30Speaker 1: Biden administration doing is real. Part of what I think
- 40:34Speaker 1: we have a responsibility to do is answer what I
- 40:36Speaker 1: call the Janet Jackson tests, which is what have you
- 40:39Speaker 1: done for me lately? Why does my vote matter? And
- 40:42Speaker 1: HBCU is a great example of it. We relieved one
- 40:46Speaker 1: point six billion dollars of HBC debt. We forgave it,
- 40:51Speaker 1: but we also gave HBCUs two point six billion dollars
- 40:57Speaker 1: so that they could recover from the pandemic. And believe
- 41:04Speaker 1: it or not, talking to the head of one of
- 41:07Speaker 1: the organizations that represents HBCUs, he said he never in
- 41:11Speaker 1: a million years our HBCUs will be in a better
- 41:13Speaker 1: position coming out of the pandemic than they were going in.
- 41:17Speaker 1: But it is our commitment to investing in black communities,
- 41:22Speaker 1: black institutions, and empowering us to determine our own destiny.
- 41:28Speaker 1: So that four point two billions, which is more than
- 41:31Speaker 1: anybody has ever given to HBCUs, we did it basically
- 41:36Speaker 1: in our first hundred and forty days in office, and
- 41:40Speaker 1: so our commitment is real. And then if you combine
- 41:43Speaker 1: it with all the other things that we're doing to
- 41:45Speaker 1: be intentional about racial equity, we're not hiding behind you know,
- 41:53Speaker 1: rising tide lists or both. We're not saying any of
- 41:56Speaker 1: that stuff. What we're saying is systemic racism has kept
- 42:00Speaker 1: black and brown people down, and we're gonna go invest
- 42:04Speaker 1: in black and brown people. We gave black farmers who've
- 42:07Speaker 1: been systemically discriminated against, five billion dollars of loan relief
- 42:15Speaker 1: and so those are real, that's smagdab in the black community.
- 42:19Speaker 1: And so that's why I that's why I vouched for
- 42:21Speaker 1: the president, and that's why I'm unapologetic about this commitment
- 42:27Speaker 1: to uplifting all communities. Let me just recap this for you.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Just in terms of dollars, they have forgiven one point
- 42:36Speaker 1: six billion dollars to HBC debt, erased it gone. They've
- 42:41Speaker 1: added and contributed two point six billion dollars into the
- 42:47Speaker 1: fun If you add that up, that's four point two
- 42:51Speaker 1: billion dollars just to HBCUs. Now the child tax creditors
- 42:56Speaker 1: for families making sixty thousand dollars, I mean, let's look, man,
- 43:00Speaker 1: and you got children out there six and under, You're
- 43:04Speaker 1: gonna get a check starting today for the rest of
- 43:09Speaker 1: the year to the tune of thirty two hundred. It's
- 43:12Speaker 1: a seventy two hundred dollars tax credit. But listen to this.
- 43:15Speaker 1: If you're not sure or if you didn't make enough
- 43:18Speaker 1: to qualify for taxes and blah blah blah blah blah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: you want to make sure you cut all you got
- 43:23Speaker 1: to do is go to Child Tax Credit dot Gov,
- 43:28Speaker 1: Child Tax Credit dot Gov and you can find out
- 43:32Speaker 1: more about it, and if you haven't setting yourself up,
- 43:35Speaker 1: you can register. Everybody can get relief. The Biden administration
- 43:39Speaker 1: is serious about that. Our senior advisor, our very own
- 43:42Speaker 1: Cedric Richmond's serious about that. We want to thank you
- 43:45Speaker 1: for coming on the show and thank you for enlightening us.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Thank thank you for having men. I really appreciate it.
- 43:52Speaker 1: My man, hey man, keep doing your work. Man, We're
- 43:54Speaker 1: watching you. We're proud of you. Thank you, sir, thank you.
- 43:58Speaker 1: All right, we want to say thank you to White
- 44:00Speaker 1: House Senior Advisor to the President, Cedric Richmond. Now coming
- 44:06Speaker 1: up next, it is the nephew with a prank phone call.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning
- 44:12Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the hour. Write
- 44:16Speaker 1: about four minutes after it's my strawberry letter for today,
- 44:19Speaker 1: the subject do you have to watch the babysitter. We'll
- 44:24Speaker 1: get into that and just a little bit uh huh.

- 48:43Speaker 1: I need to make something trying to Let's just want

- 49:06Speaker 1: to be nice? Where you would tell you. You continue

- 49:14Speaker 1: It was your job to take care of transportation for
- 49:18Speaker 1: us to get from the US to Utia, from Ujeria

- 49:25Speaker 1: You were supposed to handle it, and they don't handle it.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Young Man said, you guys were going to Jamaica queens,
- 49:31Speaker 1: and that's what I took for now maybe I said
- 49:34Speaker 1: Jamaica queens. We were very clear, and I know he

- 49:45Speaker 1: need you to make it happened. He was not going
- 49:47Speaker 1: to happen. You're going to Jamaica, queen. Maybe you are
- 49:50Speaker 1: his queen and he's taking you to Jamaica, but that's
- 49:53Speaker 1: not how he said. Listen to supple. I'm not getting
- 49:57Speaker 1: married in New York. You understand me. Don't mention New
- 49:59Speaker 1: York one more time in this conversation. I do not
- 50:03Speaker 1: mention New York. Why mention New York when that is
- 50:06Speaker 1: the actual ticket I have you schedule for because you
- 50:09Speaker 1: screwed that up, and you get ready to correct it.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Get on the computer and correct it. Figure it out.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Your job is, Listen to me. Your job it is
- 50:17Speaker 1: from Ultorel to Montego Bay. Focus on that, work it out,
- 50:22Speaker 1: make it off it. I'm not gonna sit here and
- 50:24Speaker 1: go back and forth with you. Okay. I need you,
- 50:26Speaker 1: first of all, to stop yelling at me. What the
- 50:28Speaker 1: kind of customer service do you keep us? Think this is?
- 50:31Speaker 1: I asked you earlier in this conversation to get somebody
- 50:34Speaker 1: else on the phone if you cannot help me. Now,
- 50:37Speaker 1: what I need you to do is figure out how
- 50:39Speaker 1: you're gonna get me from Ultra Reels to Montego Bay.

- 50:45Speaker 1: don't bring up New York. I need you to work.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Don't tell me where I'm going to spend my honeymoon.
- 50:51Speaker 1: How to spend your honeymoon in Jamaica? Quis New York?

- 50:58Speaker 1: the mistake. Okay, don't have a phone to put you off.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Something gets Do you hear me? Are you listening to me?
- 51:09Speaker 1: I can't work it out. I've already told you there's
- 51:12Speaker 1: nothing about it. Can you get it through your anty
- 51:14Speaker 1: out of head? Did you just call Meaty? Look? I
- 51:18Speaker 1: need you to get somebody else on this phone. I
- 51:22Speaker 1: promise you I'm about to reach through this phone and
- 51:25Speaker 1: snatch you up by your neck. How are you talking
- 51:27Speaker 1: to me like this? This is the kind of service
- 51:29Speaker 1: you get when you make mistakes and don't know where
- 51:31Speaker 1: the hell you want to go. We didn't make some mistake,
- 51:34Speaker 1: and we know exactly where we want to go, and
- 51:36Speaker 1: you are not listening to me. I to my TA base.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Do you understand? Do you understand what things? Something? I
- 51:42Speaker 1: need you to understand? Are you listening to me? Yes? Worse,
- 51:46Speaker 1: this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 52:16Speaker 1: scale of one to ten on the stupid at the scale?
- 52:20Speaker 1: Whether you place me? Oh, you're always all trash? All right, enough,
- 52:25Speaker 1: off the rick the scale. Okay, you're sorry, al right,
- 52:30Speaker 1: whether you want, I'm just gonna I'm just gonna tease

- 52:40Speaker 1: gonna want you to be eating some grits with Timmy
- 52:43Speaker 1: while I'm pranking in the morning. Okay, I'm gonna want
- 52:45Speaker 1: you to eat a few grits with Life is changing

- 52:51Speaker 1: we're about to get out to the nitty. Gritty. Grit

- 53:55Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject you
- 54:00Speaker 1: have to watch the Babysitter. Dear Stephen Shirley, I need
- 54:04Speaker 1: your advice on an issue with my husband. We've been
- 54:06Speaker 1: married almost two years and we are parents of a
- 54:09Speaker 1: seven month old baby girl. I'm a nurse and I
- 54:12Speaker 1: worked nights seven pm until three am. My husband is
- 54:16Speaker 1: an optometrist and he has a licensing exam in Maine.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Last month he had one, so he had to be
- 54:21Speaker 1: gone for five days. I suggested my friend's best friend.
- 54:26Speaker 1: My best friend's sister babysit while I was at work.
- 54:29Speaker 1: She's twenty five now and I've known her since she
- 54:32Speaker 1: was in third grade. I let her know that we
- 54:34Speaker 1: have baby monitors all over the house and there's a
- 54:37Speaker 1: ring camera in the baby's room. Things went well the
- 54:41Speaker 1: first two nights with her and the baby, and on
- 54:44Speaker 1: the third night, I logged onto the video and I
- 54:47Speaker 1: saw my baby asleep in her crib, but I heard
- 54:50Speaker 1: loud noises sounding like wild and crazy sex. I call
- 54:54Speaker 1: the house and she didn't answer. My husband called me
- 54:58Speaker 1: and said he heard the same thing, but we couldn't
- 55:01Speaker 1: see anything on the camera. When I got home later
- 55:04Speaker 1: that night, everything was in order, but I was giving
- 55:07Speaker 1: her the side eive. I decided to take our extra
- 55:11Speaker 1: ring camera out of our closet and hide it in
- 55:13Speaker 1: the den on a shelf. Stephen Shirley. I logged on
- 55:18Speaker 1: the next night and got a full porn show. She
- 55:23Speaker 1: had some random guy in my house and they were
- 55:25Speaker 1: stark naked and going at it in the middle of
- 55:29Speaker 1: my den. I called my husband but couldn't reach him.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I didn't say a word to the girl about what
- 55:35Speaker 1: I saw. I took off work the next night and
- 55:38Speaker 1: let her know I didn't need her anymore. When I
- 55:41Speaker 1: told my husband about it, he seemed shocked, but then
- 55:45Speaker 1: a few days later I caught him in his man
- 55:48Speaker 1: cave watching the video. He tried to stop it real quick,
- 55:52Speaker 1: but I saw it. Should I be worried that he
- 55:55Speaker 1: lied and said he didn't see it. Should I watch
- 55:59Speaker 1: the babysitter, please advise? Yes, of course you don't have
- 56:04Speaker 1: to watch the babysitter anymore because you fired her. Remember,
- 56:09Speaker 1: but you know everybody's lying. Your your husband's for sure lying.
- 56:13Speaker 1: And sure if you know if the babysitter comes back,
- 56:17Speaker 1: watch her. The receipt is the tape you have that.
- 56:20Speaker 1: I say, believe what your eyes and your ears tell
- 56:22Speaker 1: you and not anything else. And of course your husband
- 56:26Speaker 1: saw it. You caught him watching it. He tried to
- 56:29Speaker 1: stop it. I mean, I just think it's real suspicious.
- 56:34Speaker 1: You know, everything that's going on. For the first two nights,
- 56:38Speaker 1: everything was cool. You heard all this loud noise and everything.
- 56:41Speaker 1: You put the other ring camera in there. I mean,
- 56:45Speaker 1: just after two nights she brings some random guy in.
- 56:49Speaker 1: You know. I think you did the right thing by
- 56:51Speaker 1: firing this girl, but you should have told her why,
- 56:54Speaker 1: although I'm sure she knows. At this point, I say,
- 56:58Speaker 1: you do need a babysitter for when you're working nights
- 57:01Speaker 1: and your husband's not home, just in case he has
- 57:03Speaker 1: to leave too. But you just need to get one
- 57:05Speaker 1: that's more like Missus Doubtfire. You know the movie Missus Doubtfire.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Robin Williams play that role, you know, not someone so
- 57:13Speaker 1: young and sexy, you know, to tempt your husband and
- 57:16Speaker 1: want him to watch the videos and all of that. So,
- 57:19Speaker 1: I mean, I think this is kind of an easy
- 57:21Speaker 1: fix if you do need a babysitter. But yeah, you
- 57:24Speaker 1: need to watch everybody, the babysitter, your husband, what he's watching,
- 57:28Speaker 1: the random guy coming to your house, all of this.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Just be aware of what's going on in your house.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Set cameras up everywhere. Steve surey, where's she going to
- 57:38Speaker 1: find though man dress up like a woman? Where is
- 57:43Speaker 1: she gonna find a man that's dressed up like a woman? Doutfire,
- 57:48Speaker 1: something like a Missus Doubtfire. Oh okay, you had to
- 57:54Speaker 1: watch the ads too, All right, Well you have to
- 57:57Speaker 1: watch your babysitter. Lady. I'm you know your letter, you
- 58:03Speaker 1: knew the advice on an issue with my husband, your husband.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Wait a minute, this whole letter ain't really got nothing
- 58:11Speaker 1: to do do with your husband. So you your whole letter,
- 58:17Speaker 1: you got deeper. You got deeper issues going on here.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I need advice on an issue with my husband. Now,
- 58:24Speaker 1: when you said that before I heard the letter, we
- 58:27Speaker 1: got to watch your babysitter. Course, I'm thinking him and
- 58:30Speaker 1: the babysitter got something going on. That's what I'm thinking. Well,
- 58:33Speaker 1: the letter unfolds. You got a seven month old, beautiful
- 58:36Speaker 1: little girl. You a nurse, You work nights seven pm
- 58:40Speaker 1: to three am. Your husband's optometrist. He has a licensing
- 58:43Speaker 1: exam in Maine last month, so he was gone for
- 58:47Speaker 1: five days. And y'all wouldn't got this babysitter, she twenty five.
- 58:50Speaker 1: You known her since she was in the third grade
- 58:52Speaker 1: when she grown. Now, all right, I'll let her know
- 58:55Speaker 1: that we have monitors all over the house. Man, that's
- 58:59Speaker 1: your problem. You told exactly where you had the monitors.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Now she knows where it ain't no monitors. Things went
- 59:05Speaker 1: well the first two nights or hearing the baby. On
- 59:08Speaker 1: the third night, I logged in on the video and
- 59:10Speaker 1: I saw my baby sleep in the crib and I
- 59:12Speaker 1: heard loud noise that sound like just wild crazy. Six.
- 59:16Speaker 1: I call the house. She ain't answer. Well, she was
- 59:19Speaker 1: having wild crazy sick. It's hard to talk on the
- 59:21Speaker 1: phone when you're having wild, crazy sec I didn't tried
- 59:24Speaker 1: it before. It's really hard. I'm talking around, you know.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I had a picture coming to the dough one time,
- 59:29Speaker 1: and I was having a wild and crazy sex. I
- 59:31Speaker 1: hat pitch with cold. It's hell by time I got downstairs. Yeah,
- 59:34Speaker 1: it's hard to stop wild crazy sex. That's somebody calling
- 59:39Speaker 1: me down phone. I don't give it down. I'm watching
- 59:42Speaker 1: the game one time. Start auncing wild and crazy six
- 59:45Speaker 1: when I woke up. I don't even know who one
- 59:48Speaker 1: wildly got him in here? When you having wild and
- 59:52Speaker 1: crazy sex. Why did you call the house? She nothing
- 59:56Speaker 1: the answer. We come back, man, I'll tell you the
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: rest of what happened. It really ain't nothing to this letter.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I don't even watch she's saying she got an issue
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: with her husband because right now it's just wild and
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: crazy as sex happened in your house. Now, that's all
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I'm just saying. All right, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: your response coming up to the Strawberry letter, the subject
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: you have to watch the babysitter. We'll get back into
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show, all right,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject you
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: have to watch the babysitter. Okay, but then the first
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: line is I need advice on an issue with my husband,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: and I don't see why you do. Lady. Now I
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: will try to get to it. You will nurse your
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: work nights and your husband had an exam to go to. Here,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I'm truma, just so you hired her babysity you've known
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: since the third grade. She twenty five. Now you told
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: her your head cameras all over the house and baby
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: monitors man, so she knew where the cameras was. Well you,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: things went well the first two nights, and on the
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: third night, I all getting on the video and I
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: saw you baby sleep in the creep when your baby
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: saying that's what you hired, the baby sitting fall, the
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: baby in the crib sleep, the baby sitter doing her job.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: But you heard some loud no, it sound like wild
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and crazy say, well the baby sleep. Now you have
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: wild and crazy sex and baby being a crib brown
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the cone because they sleep through all kinds of stuff,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: fire trucks, whoa, whoa whoa, police everything, helicopters. They don't
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: hit the baby, just be sleeping. I call the house
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: and she didn't aunce. Now I told you get the phone.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: People having wild and crazy say, you don't need you
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: calling down now. Ain't nobody got time to answer this phone.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Then you think that baby wouldn't hit that wild and
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: crazy sex. I don't a problem about promise you that
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: little girl ain't hit that damn phone. Rang it because
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you got other things to do. When you having a
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: wild and crazy sex. You're trying to get your foot
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: up off that TV. You got your got your knee
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: on the back of your husband lounge chair. Yeah, wild
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: and crazy sex, you probably ain't even hit the damn phone. Right,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be there. Some people probably ain't dobell.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: She didn't hear that either. I'm just saying that's how
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: wild and crazy it is. When you having wild crazy.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Say well, you got to pay attention wild crazy said
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: she didn't. That got one hand hanging on your drapes,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: trying not to tell he drapes down, and she got
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: the other foot on top of the flow model TV
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: because y'all old, y'all doctors, and y'all ain't updated to TV.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: So y'all got the flow model. She got foot on
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: top of that console and it's just just wild crazy sex, right, okay? Cool?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I called her, how she didn't answer. Your husband called
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: me and said he heard the same thing, but we
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: couldn't see anything on the camera. I got home lady
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: that night, everything was in order. I was giving her
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: the side out of I decided to take out our
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: extra ring camera out of our closet, hid it in
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: the den on the shelf. Steve and shitty. I logged
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: in on the next night and got a four pawn show. Yes, no,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: what I think that's why you said that camera You
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: already know they had wild and crazy sex. And the
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: name of the poem movie you was watching with babysit
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: have gone crazy. She just in there and that she
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: come talking about she had some random guy in the house.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: She hadn't a random guy in the house. The same
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: dudees over that last night. You just didn't have the video.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: This ain't no random guy. This the guy that had
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: a wild and crazy sex. Random guy could be just anybody.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Everybody can't have wild and crazy sex. I got a
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: couple of friends can't do that. They too square, you know,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: they got a little you know they do different type
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: of work. You know, they work at the government. They
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: don't do wild crazy six. You got to be kn't
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: be just random to do wild crazy six. You got
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: the particular kind of Tommy, my nephew, he do wild
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: crazy six crazy like that. He all that time. He
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: ignorant Junior. I don't really think Junior do wild crazy six.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: I don't really know, but he might. But he got
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: sick of sale, so I don't know if he probably
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: but he probably ain't trying to have no crisis or nothing.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: He probably just had a regular, good old second. But
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I don't know if he's gonna had no wild crazy
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: saycause we don't hand no damn crisis. I don't know that. Yeah,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: he can't get dehydrated. He that's hardly had wild crazy
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: sense and be drinking the old damn tame so that
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I don't know. So and uh, And they had a
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: random guy in the house. They were starting naked, going
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: all that in the middle of my den. I called
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: my husband, but I couldn't reach him. Well, I mean
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: you couldn't reach him, called your husband. Well, we're gonna
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: leave that long. I didn't say a word to the
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: girl about what I saw. I took off work the
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: next night and let her know I didn't need her anymore.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: When I told my husband about it, he seemed shocked.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: What But then a few days later I caught him
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: in his man cave watching the video. He tried to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: stop it real quick, but I saw it. Should I
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: be worried that? He lied and said he didn't see it?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: What he pulled up the cameras that was watching it.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: He didn't want you to know he was watching it,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: so he lied and said he ain't seen it. What
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: you're worried about that fault? You gotta get another damn
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: baby said it, Sherley, What is she worried about? That fault? So? What? So?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: What he saw the video? What you want to tell you, baby,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: I've been watching this hoo, this little girl right here.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you, is that what you wanted
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: him to say? Cut the video? You don't want your
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: wife to know you watching that. That's why he lied.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Let me ask you something, Sherley. If you thought you
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: could cut the video off that you was watching and
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: your husband walked in on you and he said, baby,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: where was you watching? You wouldn't lie? Probably not, that's
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: a lie. And so he well, see we men and
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: we gonna lie. I it's an issue to her. And
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: if he she saw him and he lied about it,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: that's an issue. Why are you lying? Wow? All right listen? Yeah,

- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Let's get to it. Let's get to it. We're gonna
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: talk about by now everyone has seen Ready to Love
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: You your part two. All right, nephew, So Carr and
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: a j they are not together. That's what we have.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: What have we learned? They are not not together? Um?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I think Carr was still in shock. I don't think
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: she can believe that Jason didn't choose her forever. I think,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: you know what. I think she tried to stand in
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the middle and play both sides and it just did
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: not work for her. Jason. Jason's like, hey, you know what,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I got to move on, Jay, some moved on not
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: him and Liz look like wedding veils. And they looked
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: like they look like wedding veils. Okay, I'm over here
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: with my fingers crossed. That that's my first set of
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: wedding veils. I got a couple of them. I got
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: a couple of them, so I have I have those two.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: So do y'all remember Mario Um season two Mario and Um, Yes,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I remember Mario and what was the young lady's name?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I think those are wedding bells that are possible as well. Yes, yes,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: So I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I got
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: a couple of wedding veils, and it's you know, I'm
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: just I'm just I need that, I need that. I
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: need to see that we're going to we are we
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: gonna We're gonna bump Rushica wedd that's it, wedding crashes.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: That's a new reality show anyway. So Liz basically said
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: that the thing that she loved about Jason was that
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: his honesty, his he was consistent, and that what Jason
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: said that he loved to buy Liz, that she positioned
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: herself to be pursued. So they are together. They are
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: a couple. We were really really mad at Joela the
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: way he treated Vernetia Shirley, you know, my boy from
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: the n O. I was rooting for him, but then
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: you know, my husband and I you know, cle she's
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: from New Orleans. He was watching. He said, don't know
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: about to say baby that much. In New Orleans. He
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: from them. It was perpetrating. Yeah, yeahs like way too
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: many humbras, baby, all of that, all of so he said, yeah,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: he represented if he didn't do nothing else, that she
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: represented the the big easy. So there you haven't. Let's
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: move on. So we're ready for the new season. You
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: were in DC quickly, nephew, you were in DC season
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: shooting five and six, So y'all whole titem right at
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: the episode number two headed the number three right now.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: So it's cooking. So I think probably around September, you'll
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: probably get this particular season dropping. Y'all get to check
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: it out. And I'm gonna be here a little long
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: with shooting another season. So that's two in Atlanta, two
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: in Houston. Now I'm shooting two in DC. What's next?
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I don't know, you know what, y'all. I've been like,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: is it time for LA yet? Is it time? But
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: that's not my decision, you know, that's above my pay grade.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: That's a Will Packer decision right there. Yeah, all right,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: all right, Well we're gonna move on quickly to marriage
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: to medicine. Speaking of reunion shows, Reunion part two, I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: just don't know what to say about Doctor Contessa and
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: her husband, Doctor Scott. My man be lying. He didn't
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: came out. He bum rushed the stage, act like he
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: was surprised when his wife said she filed them papers.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: He was like, what papers? And then she was like
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: six months seven months ago, so you knew about the papers? Boy?
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: He be lying, He said he didn't know what dms
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: on Instagram. He just doing too much. Jesus doing way
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: too much. Doctor Scott, shout out to quad. She did
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: her things. She was actually she took over as a
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: moderator of the reunion show and Andy Cohen was cool
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: with it. So it was all good. So we will
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: watch and see what's going on next week. It is
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Reunion part three, Doctor Contessa, Doctor Scott. They are having
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: some serious marital problems. My girl was crying the whole time.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: It was just really really heartbreaking to see. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: so hopefully we're rooting for him to get it together.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: That is reality update. Hit me up on the gram
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: at lips by Carla. What you guys, Shirley going out hot?

- 1:16:42Speaker 1: This one is from Diamond in Baltimore. Diamond writes, my
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: thirty three year old boyfriend has been in jail for
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: most of our relationship. We met four years ago and
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: he's violated his probation twice since we've been together. When
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: he's gone, I can't lie. I sneak around with my
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: ex boy friend, and now that I am Now that
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I am pregnant, I'm not sure who the father is.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: My boyfriend already has three children, so he won't be
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: happy about this. My ex just got married, so it
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: would be bad all the way around if it's his child.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Should I stay with my jailbird boyfriend and let him
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: raise the child or tell my ex I ain't raising
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: from where? Or does he been do? What do you zooming.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: You've been win him four years. He's been locked up
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: most of the focus. He keeps violating probation. He can't
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: he can't stay away from nothing. Now. So you've been
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: seeing your ex. Now you pregnant. You don't know who
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: baby it is x Mary, but your ex is married.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: So let me get this right. You just can't get
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: the right kind of dude. The one you won't is
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: in jail. The one you win is married. Now you pregnant.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: You don't know which one it is? Right, And she
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: says her boyfriend in jail won't be happy because he
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: already has three kids. The hell you're worrying about him
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: being happy for about the pregnancy? Why you can't worry
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: about him? He got other issues. He's been to be
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: mad because you're pregnant. Yeah, he ain't out here taking
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: care of none of them. Homeboy, I gotta get himself together.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: He gotta quit violated. He got he got to come
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: out here and do right now. I know, I know.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong that that violation probation can be
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: for anything. I mean, they can come set you down
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: for anything. You can't be in the presence and nobody
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: would a weapon you can't be in the president nobody
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: would a record. You can't be within so much distance
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: of this, that and the other. You can't get a ticket.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: You can't do nothing on probation. It was easy to violating.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: You got You need to start picking better, baby. Yeah,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: all right. Moving on, Kelsey and Richmond, Virginia says, I'm
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: a thirty year old hairstyles and one of my clients
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: is messing with a married man. That man's wife comes
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: to another stylist in the salon, and through other gossiping
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: women in the salon, they found out about each other.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: While my client was under the dryer Saturday, someone keyed
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: her car and wrote on it with a permanent marker.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: My customer thinks me and the other stylists should pay
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: for the damage because she's too ashamed to file an
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: insurance claim. Am I liable since it was on my property? No? WHOA, No,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: you're not liable for the car if he gets stolen
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: on your property. No, she has insurance. Her insurance is
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: liable for that. Coming up, it is our last break
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: of the day, and at forty nine minutes after, of course,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: it is some closing remarks from the one and Only
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: our fearless leader, Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: morning show. All right, guys, here we are our last
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: break of the day on this Thursday. This week is
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: rolling by. First I thought it was slow. Now it's
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: getting fast, going by fast. It really is, Yeah, it
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: really is. Yep. But it's been a good day. It's
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: been a good day, all right, Steve. You know, Oh,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: I guess I'm gonna kind of stay in the mode
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: of motivation because I want to inspire people because you know, look,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I think so many people can get so discouraged by
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: so many different things. I mean, you know, for some
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: it seems like bigger items than others. But you know,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: it's all in perspective. It all depends on the amount
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: of experience you have in life, on how well you
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: handle setbacks and trials and tribulations. So it's all relative.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: When you see a person that's thinking about giving up
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: for a lesser reason than you would, it doesn't make
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: that reason not valid. It's very valid. It's just they
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: may not have the experience with grapping or coping with
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: situations like you. But I want to say something to
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: everybody that's on their road to success. It is a
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: tough road. It is a tough road. It is a
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: difficult journey. It is not easy to become successful. It's
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: just not. And I think when people start running up
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: into those obstacles, it's easy to say, Wow, this is
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: really hard and give up and quit. But I want
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: to tell you something. See, whenever God is about to
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: do something great for you, I've found that in those moments,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: the devil is also aware of your future too. He
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: sees when God is doing great things in your life,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: and he sees when God is blessing you. His job
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: is to rob you of that destiny to get to
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: where God has all has ordained a plan for you
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: to be. So what he does is when he looks
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: into your future and he sees that God is about
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: to do something big for you, he throws at you
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: the opposition. Have you noticed that it comes from people
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: you thought you were cool with that, It comes from
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: people that you've done so much for that it comes
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: out of the side, out of the bushes, almost out
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: of a dark your hard where you just go, Where
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: did that come from? Why they tripping? After all I did?
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: It always seems like it comes out of nowhere, because
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: that's one of the devil's best tricks. He tries to
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: blindside you with it. And the more hurtful he can
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: be towards you, the more he can throw you off
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: the course. So he presents, of course, people that you know,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you care about, that you thought was your friends, that
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you thought was all right with you. And it comes
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: from that angle right there. What I'm saying is, on
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: this journey to success, be prepared for opposition, because it's
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: going to come. It is a part of the process.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: None of us will get to where we want to
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: be in life without going through the process. Now you
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: know how you hear motivational speakers talking and you hear
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: the audience member go oh that's good, that's good, that's good,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: and they start writing on it. Oh I like that,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Or the preacher be talking and go oh that's good,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: that's good. That's good, that's good. You know, people get
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: inspired by that. I guess I'm the same way as
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: anybody else. But when I talk to people about success,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I try to make it instead of good, I try
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: to make it understandable. I try to get you to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: grab this thing that I'm talking to you about. In
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: the simplest form of fashion, so you can move on
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: with it. I'm just saying this to you as plain
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: as I can. On your road to success. The devil
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: gonna throw them obstacles at you. Every time something good
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: is coming your way, they got to throw something bad
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: at your way. Something's happening in my life right now
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: to try to throw out my progress. But I'm aware
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: of it. That don't mean that that's that is easy.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: And it doesn't mean that because I'm aware of it,
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: I know how to cope with it better I do.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: But it still bothers me. It still bothers me to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: somebody that I did so much for can turn so
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: easily because they see a buck and they can turn.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: But you know what I've also learned about this road
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: to success. God don't put more on you than you
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: can bath. Do you know sometimes that you're going through
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: stuff not only to show you something, but to teach
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: the person that's around you a lesson to you know
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: that God uses your strift to teach the weaker or
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: the evil a lesson through you. Have you ever noticed that.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: I don't know if you have. That's a hard one
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to come to the realization that you're going through something
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: and you're not enjoying it, but it's gonna teach that
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: person that's trying to do something to you. They've been
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: to learn a real valuable lesson. It's gonna cost you
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: a little bit, but God, I already know you got
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: the strift to handle it, because he'd have done so
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: many things with you and for you throughout the years.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: He knows you can handle it, so he allows things
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: to happen to you. But he's also gonna show that
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: person that's trying to do you, he gonna show him something.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: He's gonna teach him a valuable lesson. You're just the
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: vessel to get it done, but you use that way
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: because you're strong enough. So in this case, I have
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: to remember that about myself, but I also want you
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: to remember it about yourself, that you are strong, that
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: everything you've ever gone through, every hardship, every every struggling moment.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Like I always say, your track record for surviving hardship
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: and struggling moments, your track record for surviving that. It's
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: one that's pretty good track record, y'all. So all you
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: gotta do is keep on waking up, keep on believing,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: keep on praying, keep on working, and You're gonna get
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: through that too, just like me. And at the end
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: of the day, the person is trying to do you
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: the most. Hum be careful when you dig a grade.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: You might have to dig too or you might end
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: up in that hole yourself. You got to be careful.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Remember that, y'all. Have a great day. God loves you. Hey, y'all,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: talk to God. He loved to hear from you. We'll
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: see y'all tomorrow, y'all, Stay heavy, stay blessed, Stay big.
