- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in its not true good String together
- 0:27Speaker 1: for st I don't join me. You gotta turn hur
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your tha h I show we all. Hey,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. I've been saying it like that since I
- 2:13Speaker 1: got it too. All Right, I gotta go one for
- 2:17Speaker 1: you today. Yesterday the other day, I was talking to
- 2:19Speaker 1: you about the most effective weapon available to us as
- 2:23Speaker 1: human beings, I think is prayer. I think prayer helps
- 2:27Speaker 1: us in so many ways. But right now, what I
- 2:30Speaker 1: want to do is I want to show you how
- 2:33Speaker 1: prayer pays off. I want I want to show you
- 2:36Speaker 1: what good it can do for you, even me. I
- 2:38Speaker 1: use it every day, and and the days I don't
- 2:42Speaker 1: use it, I feel it that that, you know, the
- 2:45Speaker 1: days that I go, you know, without talking to him
- 2:48Speaker 1: as much, I notice it. I feel it. I feel
- 2:50Speaker 1: a certain kind of way you know, those are those
- 2:54Speaker 1: that doubt starts slipping in again, that uneasy feeling of
- 2:57Speaker 1: uncertainty slips in again, and that that wondering what I'm
- 3:01Speaker 1: gonna do start slipping in again happens to me, It
- 3:04Speaker 1: happens everybody, man, I think, I really really do you know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: if people would just keep it real with each other,
- 3:09Speaker 1: stop being this Christian this superman, because you ain't you ain't.
- 3:15Speaker 1: There's a scripture that says that's none perfect, no not one,
- 3:22Speaker 1: that's everybody. That that covered all of us. Thought. So
- 3:26Speaker 1: sometimes I think we're a little too hard on each
- 3:28Speaker 1: other with that too, seeing us how we're not perfect,
- 3:32Speaker 1: we immediately want to just just oh man, you just
- 3:36Speaker 1: want to kill when we find somebody do something wrong.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But if you go public, everything go public now called
- 3:41Speaker 1: social media. But anyway, I just want to talk to
- 3:44Speaker 1: you about how prayer pays off. It's called all eye
- 3:48Speaker 1: and money. People got money, call it all eyes a
- 3:52Speaker 1: return on investment. People are always looking for a return
- 3:55Speaker 1: on investment. You know, nobody, nobody in business really gives
- 3:59Speaker 1: you money without understanding the return on investment. They don't
- 4:03Speaker 1: even give money to charities unless they think it can
- 4:07Speaker 1: do something with the bottom line. A lot of companies
- 4:10Speaker 1: work like that, I found out out myself. Sad, but
- 4:13Speaker 1: it is true. So since everything is expected to work
- 4:17Speaker 1: on a return on investment as soon because we're human beings.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So since we're all human beings, whether you're in business
- 4:24Speaker 1: or not, you're still in the business of living. I
- 4:28Speaker 1: think when you pray, you should expect a return on
- 4:32Speaker 1: your investment. You talk to him, you spend time opening
- 4:37Speaker 1: it up to him, You bowed your head to him,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you humbled yourself, you got on your knees. I mean,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but really we're talking God here, So really, what you're
- 4:47Speaker 1: doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with You're a
- 4:50Speaker 1: little bit that you do do on his behalf, it
- 4:54Speaker 1: just pales in comparison with what he does. But let's
- 4:57Speaker 1: just say you want to call yourself invested, well, let
- 5:00Speaker 1: me show you how it pays off. This because for me,
- 5:04Speaker 1: this is for me. Now, pray pays off in different ways.
- 5:07Speaker 1: That's what I had to learn. See, I was praying,
- 5:10Speaker 1: but I was asking him specifically for what I wanted.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I had the audacity, though, to turn around and tell
- 5:17Speaker 1: him how to do what I wanted. That's amazing, man,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many blessings I blocked coming
- 5:23Speaker 1: my way by putting my faith in what I said
- 5:26Speaker 1: I want it and how I wanted him to do it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I want you to give me this. I want that
- 5:32Speaker 1: person to go away. I want this person to accept
- 5:36Speaker 1: everything you say. Then I want to go over here
- 5:39Speaker 1: and I want this deal to happen like this, and
- 5:41Speaker 1: I want that person to just step aside and let
- 5:45Speaker 1: let me through. And then I wanted I was. I
- 5:47Speaker 1: hadn't mapped out. God must have been chuckling really hard.
- 5:52Speaker 1: He hadn't been gonna. Boy, I made you to be funny.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But boy, you're funny now. So you're gonna tell me
- 5:56Speaker 1: how to do it. And you've all heard this right here.
- 5:59Speaker 1: If you want to make God laughed telling me your plan, well,
- 6:02Speaker 1: that's what I did. And that's how we pray. A
- 6:04Speaker 1: lot of times we pray, and we pray in the
- 6:07Speaker 1: prayer with telling him how to work it out. Well,
- 6:11Speaker 1: here's the deal. This is what I've learned. Prayer pays
- 6:14Speaker 1: off in different ways. There's a different return of my
- 6:18Speaker 1: investment when I pray. See, sometimes when I'm praying for something,
- 6:23Speaker 1: a situation to dissolve itself or go away. Sometimes I
- 6:28Speaker 1: get courage out of the prayer. Prayer provides me courage
- 6:33Speaker 1: that's just to go on and look at it. I
- 6:36Speaker 1: guess face it then. Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation,
- 6:44Speaker 1: sometimes prayer gives me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just
- 6:49Speaker 1: I look up and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes
- 6:53Speaker 1: prayer gives you laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you
- 6:57Speaker 1: just got to laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Do you know what that is? If you could do that,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you know. Sometimes it it gives you a show of
- 7:11Speaker 1: strength power. Sometimes prayer allows you to have the appearance
- 7:17Speaker 1: that you got it all together. Nobody got to know
- 7:21Speaker 1: the world. When the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in
- 7:25Speaker 1: your life, you're standing over that like the eye the
- 7:27Speaker 1: hurricane you and it's all swirling around you. But you're
- 7:31Speaker 1: standing that like the eye, you just as calm. That's
- 7:33Speaker 1: what prayer does. So when you pray, man, it builds
- 7:37Speaker 1: up a lot of things in you. You know what
- 7:40Speaker 1: it's done for me. Prayer has built up character in me.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It's made me have more character because I'm able to
- 7:47Speaker 1: stand stronger on the things I say because I've been
- 7:50Speaker 1: praying because I've been asking God for all of those
- 7:54Speaker 1: return of investments. I've been asking God for courage. I've
- 7:58Speaker 1: been asking God for hanging that power. I've been asking
- 8:01Speaker 1: him to give me the power to walk away. I've
- 8:03Speaker 1: asked him to give me ignored power. I've asking to
- 8:06Speaker 1: help me laugh at off. I've asked him to show
- 8:08Speaker 1: me strength. But you know what I was doing, I
- 8:10Speaker 1: was really praying, not really for them things be real
- 8:13Speaker 1: with you. I was asking them to help me, Lord,
- 8:16Speaker 1: help me. You ever done that? You ever asked God
- 8:18Speaker 1: for help? And then all of a sudden, the list
- 8:20Speaker 1: of these things show up. See, sometimes how you want
- 8:24Speaker 1: the problem to be solved ain't the best way. There's
- 8:26Speaker 1: a lesson to be learned when we make mistakes. And
- 8:29Speaker 1: sometimes you got to stay in that fire and you
- 8:31Speaker 1: got to learn that lesson. But guess what, though, when
- 8:35Speaker 1: you come out of it, you're gonna be better for it.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You're gonna know more about it. Come on, y'all, pray.
- 8:41Speaker 1: He's solid. His word is true, It lasts forever. He
- 8:44Speaker 1: do what he say gonna do now, all day, all night,
- 8:49Speaker 1: twenty four seven, He do it all day, all night,
- 8:52Speaker 1: and then some more. His word don't ever change. It
- 8:54Speaker 1: is true. It works for me. It worked for you.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It worked for Jake's It worked for Old Steam, It
- 9:01Speaker 1: worked for Kirk Franklin, It worked for Paula White, It
- 9:05Speaker 1: worked for Billy Graham, It worked for Mother Teresa, It
- 9:09Speaker 1: worked for Gandhi, It worked for the Princess Arabs. It worked, man,
- 9:15Speaker 1: it worked for you. What you're waiting for? Why don't
- 9:19Speaker 1: you put praying your game? Watch what happened to you?
- 9:22Speaker 1: You're sitting in that jail, celle, and you're struggling with it,
- 9:25Speaker 1: and they're telling you bloody and blood out, you can't
- 9:28Speaker 1: get in you. That's foolishness, man, What you mean God
- 9:31Speaker 1: can get you out of anything. Look, man, if you
- 9:34Speaker 1: didn't read your Bible, he didn't got some people out
- 9:35Speaker 1: of some sticky situations. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 9:38Speaker 1: If Daniel was in the lions den and Jonah was
- 9:41Speaker 1: in the belly of the whale, what you're talking about?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Where you are? You just sitting in the sale with
- 9:44Speaker 1: some dudes round you talking about what they're gonna do. Man,
- 9:46Speaker 1: you gotta be real. God can't nothing to do nothing.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Nobody can't nobody do nothing to you. God won't give
- 9:53Speaker 1: you to strift to handle. Prayer changes things. Man, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening to show, ladies and gentlemen, people from around the world. Anyway,
- 10:08Speaker 1: you're listening to the baddest morning show on planet Earth,
- 10:13Speaker 1: none greater. I'm telling you. Add him up, damn down.
- 10:18Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey Morning Show. We open our show with gratitude,
- 10:22Speaker 1: grateful for all he has done. That affects your attitude
- 10:27Speaker 1: and allows you to project things to come, which is
- 10:31Speaker 1: in direct correlation which you're altitude, which Old Lord puts
- 10:38Speaker 1: us all on the run. Ladies and gentlemen, This is
- 10:42Speaker 1: is Steve Harvey Morning Show, starring Sherley Strawberry, Colin for Rell,
- 10:47Speaker 1: The Mouth of the South, The Mississippi Girl, Monica Junior,
- 10:52Speaker 1: a government name kills Fates, and the legend of Nephew Tommy.
- 10:58Speaker 1: What is it? Let's talk about it. Man. Saw something
- 11:03Speaker 1: this weekend you did? Man, You talk about jumping. You
- 11:06Speaker 1: wrote a book called Jump Matter of Fact, and it
- 11:09Speaker 1: just hit me, you know, after my birthday and everything
- 11:12Speaker 1: you hit me. Jumping is not a one time process.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Jumping is multiple times in everything, like we have to
- 11:23Speaker 1: jump consistently. Is that? Is that? How I'm looking at it,
- 11:27Speaker 1: am I looking at it wrong? Well, you know, the
- 11:31Speaker 1: purpose for the book Jump was to inspire people to
- 11:37Speaker 1: take the initial jump. It's the initial jump that's the
- 11:41Speaker 1: most difficult one. Once you understand that the jump is
- 11:47Speaker 1: to take risk, there is no living without risk. You
- 11:53Speaker 1: can exist and play at safe, but if you want
- 11:56Speaker 1: to live, you have to take risk. And it's it's
- 12:00Speaker 1: very difficult to get a person to take the initial
- 12:03Speaker 1: jump because it's a leap into the unknown. But once
- 12:07Speaker 1: you take the first leap, the first jump, you get
- 12:11Speaker 1: better at jumping. It's never easy to jump, right, because
- 12:16Speaker 1: every time you jump it's still a jump into the unknown.
- 12:19Speaker 1: But after you take the first jump, it should instill
- 12:23Speaker 1: in you a level of faith in God Almighty that
- 12:26Speaker 1: he will keep you no matter what the results of
- 12:29Speaker 1: the jump, because the jump is gonna come with some
- 12:32Speaker 1: with with some tags and some cuts and some bruises
- 12:36Speaker 1: and some stumbling, and it's just not jumping. All of
- 12:39Speaker 1: a sudden, parachute open and you sail. No, No, the
- 12:43Speaker 1: jump comes with some You didn't know that, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 1: You didn't know that Lage was out there that farck.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You didn't know it was branches on the way down.
- 12:56Speaker 1: You didn't know. You didn't know that that cushion at
- 12:59Speaker 1: the bottom. Really, what if somebody moved it out? So
- 13:07Speaker 1: every jump doesn't result in success. Summer jumps result in
- 13:13Speaker 1: experience that gives you though, experience, the wherewithal and the
- 13:19Speaker 1: understanding that when you have to jump again. But it's
- 13:23Speaker 1: the lack of jumping that stopped people from succeeding. That
- 13:28Speaker 1: was the purpose of the book Jumping. Go ahead and
- 13:30Speaker 1: drop all right, thank you. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:36Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. It is Monday, so you know
- 13:39Speaker 1: what that means. The pastors are in the building with
- 13:41Speaker 1: church complaints right after this you're listening show. All right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is time for church complaints with Pastor Motown and
- 13:51Speaker 1: Deacon deaf jam on this Monday, we gather in a
- 13:57Speaker 1: most pro curious way. Yeah, we often silitate, but the
- 14:07Speaker 1: preparedness of all as we pomphony on the words that
- 14:14Speaker 1: is about to float. Yeah, let us reconcil with all
- 14:20Speaker 1: that is to come preach for in His name. Amen. Amen,
- 14:26Speaker 1: Come on, all right, past and let's get down to it.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I Naked and Afraid TV show called and asked if
- 14:35Speaker 1: the church would like to participate in their new concept Blessed,
- 14:40Speaker 1: Naked and Saved. They drop the entire congregation in the
- 14:45Speaker 1: woods and we compete against another church. Whoever has the
- 14:49Speaker 1: most people at the end wins a hundred thousand dollars.
- 14:53Speaker 1: So do we want to participate in Blessed and Naked
- 14:57Speaker 1: and Saved? And but I will allow him to bring
- 15:02Speaker 1: cameras to our church which is loaded located on A
- 15:06Speaker 1: hundred and fifth and Massy between Park and Saint Clair,
- 15:11Speaker 1: and you can come and film our service every morning,
- 15:15Speaker 1: which is dead in the heart of the hood, and
- 15:17Speaker 1: the name of our show is clothed and scared. Come
- 15:27Speaker 1: on up in here church, stared off in the hood.
- 15:35Speaker 1: They got something for you on the way in and
- 15:37Speaker 1: on the way y'all. Yeah, well, we're gonna go ahead.
- 15:43Speaker 1: The Pet Ministry is asking for they but their church
- 15:47Speaker 1: services to be led by snoop dogs because Brother Vernon
- 15:51Speaker 1: Lane isn't a good fit. The pets aren't feeling him.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Are his message? So all the dogs in the in
- 15:58Speaker 1: the Pet Ministry, they are not feeling Brother Vernon Lane.
- 16:03Speaker 1: They're asking their thought snoop dog could come preach the
- 16:06Speaker 1: word I don't know pets is aware of the cost
- 16:11Speaker 1: of Snoop Dog. So you go back to the Pitt
- 16:13Speaker 1: ministry and telling them that if they continue with these complaints,
- 16:19Speaker 1: it's back old, back old, back to the shelter. They go,
- 16:23Speaker 1: oh wow, I don't know you're gonna send them back,
- 16:29Speaker 1: shout that where to call for. What you ain't gonna
- 16:33Speaker 1: do is come up here and cost us mote. Now
- 16:36Speaker 1: you knew you ordered famous dog Snoop do all this
- 16:39Speaker 1: hell past Tom can y'all hair George Clinton for the
- 16:47Speaker 1: comic dog live No he nothing matter fact, George Clinton's
- 16:51Speaker 1: was at the conclave the key, Oh what the glory?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Oh go ahead, all right. The fish fried was amazing
- 17:10Speaker 1: on Friday passing. We sold one hundred and fifty down
- 17:13Speaker 1: us and raised over two thousand dollars. Here is the problem.
- 17:17Speaker 1: The fish tank that's in the wall when you first
- 17:20Speaker 1: come into church had at least farted something fish in
- 17:23Speaker 1: the gold fish, oscar got, angel fish, blow fish, All
- 17:29Speaker 1: of them are gone. Earl that frieda to fish on
- 17:32Speaker 1: Friday is nowhere to be found. Please please tell us
- 17:36Speaker 1: this is just a coincidence. Path, Please tell us that well,
- 17:41Speaker 1: ah gonna draw already draw conclusion. The Earl done something
- 17:51Speaker 1: with the fish that was going on. No, I didn't
- 17:56Speaker 1: notice one of my sandwich, one of my sandwiches. I
- 18:04Speaker 1: had asked for a six inch subfish sandwich, and my
- 18:08Speaker 1: sandwich had exactly twenty five fish on it. They was delicious,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and I couldn't see the color cause of the battle.
- 18:18Speaker 1: But I'm thinking now that you said that then with
- 18:21Speaker 1: probably gold fish. Oh my god, the gold fish had
- 18:27Speaker 1: so much slough and I couldn't see them. But now
- 18:30Speaker 1: that you mentioned the fact that they gone faster, put
- 18:37Speaker 1: the right battle on them. And you know, get some
- 18:39Speaker 1: hot sauce and some sla and that put them on
- 18:43Speaker 1: that brioche bread boar. You know, I just discovered that
- 18:51Speaker 1: later on in life. They didn't have that. When I
- 18:53Speaker 1: was coming up, we heard everything on biscuits and light bread,
- 18:58Speaker 1: wonder bread, meal, brooks, stuff like that doll ball. They
- 19:03Speaker 1: came up with this new fred and white folk make
- 19:07Speaker 1: or in France some well I'll tie you or something
- 19:10Speaker 1: like that doll and it's called brios card. You ain't
- 19:14Speaker 1: had no one. You got to get some bread and
- 19:19Speaker 1: try that Hawaiian loaf. Two breads they kept away from us.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Now they ain't good to Grandma's Biscuit. But they damn
- 19:28Speaker 1: show right up there though, Goldfish on that go alright
- 19:35Speaker 1: past that. Let's get keep it moving here. Listen. Sister
- 19:39Speaker 1: Gretchen Davis has decided to get rid of her TV
- 19:43Speaker 1: she has had since nineteen seventy five. She said she
- 19:48Speaker 1: needed least eight brothers from the checks to help her
- 19:50Speaker 1: move it. At the highs. No brothers are willing to
- 19:53Speaker 1: help because every TV back then is at least a
- 19:57Speaker 1: thousand pounds that you know, it's the whole content bat
- 20:01Speaker 1: I've been by there. That's a flow model. She got
- 20:06Speaker 1: a flow model with an attached stereo system. The whole thing.
- 20:14Speaker 1: We were nives back in the day. It got a
- 20:16Speaker 1: little color panelon it that light up to the music
- 20:19Speaker 1: and got an eight track sist a moment and album
- 20:26Speaker 1: playoff Old Black Lad. That thing is heavy and has
- 20:33Speaker 1: a bookshelf built only made out of solid oak. That
- 20:38Speaker 1: ain't for Neil. She got that good one down now.
- 20:41Speaker 1: They had that one that fears coming up next. It
- 20:44Speaker 1: is a circuit city hard one. You're listening morning show
- 20:54Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. In Entertainment news,
- 20:57Speaker 1: there was a big family feud to Disney World, seventy
- 21:01Speaker 1: six year old father of Yeah, that was a brawl
- 21:04Speaker 1: at Disney. I don't know us and a seventy the
- 21:11Speaker 1: seventy six year old father of Elon Musk wants to
- 21:14Speaker 1: donate his sperm and our Forever First Lady has a
- 21:18Speaker 1: brand new book. We'll talk about all these, like I
- 21:20Speaker 1: said at the top of the hour, but right now
- 21:22Speaker 1: it is time to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer,
- 21:26Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building ready for your love questions.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Julie and Nashville writes, I'm a fifty year old married
- 21:32Speaker 1: woman and our son is leaving for college next month.
- 21:36Speaker 1: My husband didn't go to college, so he low key
- 21:38Speaker 1: hates on my son for getting accepted to a top
- 21:41Speaker 1: school for computer science. I want to do a small
- 21:45Speaker 1: send off for my son, and my husband is fighting
- 21:48Speaker 1: me on it. Should I plan the party anyway? Yeah? Wow,
- 21:54Speaker 1: come on, celebrate your chat. That's a major accomplishment. And
- 21:59Speaker 1: if daddy you just don't, what's wrong with you? Though? Hey,
- 22:02Speaker 1: no one because he got accept that said that's come
- 22:05Speaker 1: from good party. Yes, oh obviously it was on her
- 22:08Speaker 1: part because you wouldn't contributed to this high education. You
- 22:14Speaker 1: know what happened to the wont in a better life
- 22:16Speaker 1: for your children? And bro, you need to pick up
- 22:19Speaker 1: a pais. Stop. You got to be kidney man. Your
- 22:23Speaker 1: son got a chance to really turn itself into something
- 22:25Speaker 1: if you allow. Yeah, he got accepted. Don't get in
- 22:28Speaker 1: the way, and don't let your son feel that man.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Don't be Oh yeah, yeah you're right. So you're saying
- 22:35Speaker 1: give him the party anyway, that's right, all right. This
- 22:38Speaker 1: one's from Miracle and Illinois. Miracle says, my old classmate
- 22:41Speaker 1: offered to take me to work so he and I
- 22:43Speaker 1: can slict the gas. We both work downtown, so it
- 22:47Speaker 1: makes a lot of sense. But he has a girlfriend.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I want to let her know I'll be riding with him.
- 22:53Speaker 1: He says, he doesn't have to. I would want to
- 22:56Speaker 1: know if he was my man, should I ride with
- 22:59Speaker 1: him and let him deal whip it? Let him deal
- 23:02Speaker 1: with it? See, Miracle, you know see I don't even
- 23:11Speaker 1: think this letter should have been written in because there's

- 24:23Speaker 1: thirty seven. He used to talk to one of my friends,
- 24:26Speaker 1: and I let him know that I knew he ghosted
- 24:29Speaker 1: my mom. Since then should I tell my mom what
- 24:32Speaker 1: I did or let her move on to yet another man? Yeah,
- 24:36Speaker 1: just go on and tell her if he didn't ghost
- 24:38Speaker 1: to them. Hey, mom, I just want you to know
- 24:41Speaker 1: that I told him that I knew him. He's thirty seven,
- 24:44Speaker 1: he dated one of my friends. I reminded him of that,
- 24:47Speaker 1: and now he don't want to see you no more.
- 24:49Speaker 1: That's why he ain't seen it. Yeah, why not tell
- 24:52Speaker 1: him all? You ain't got to say nothing. He didn't
- 24:54Speaker 1: got to them. It's hold. She's probably afraid that the
- 24:58Speaker 1: mom will be mad at her. Well, then don't tell her, y'all.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Y'all talk too much. We like to confess. Yeah, all
- 25:07Speaker 1: this hell, you know. Should I tell him her girlfrid
- 25:11Speaker 1: were riding to work together. Should I tell my mama
- 25:14Speaker 1: that her man and a month used to date one
- 25:16Speaker 1: of my Shut up? We like to get it off
- 25:20Speaker 1: of us, man, y'all, but y'all talk too much. Be
- 25:24Speaker 1: quiet some damn time. Man, Everything ain't got to be
- 25:28Speaker 1: a problem. Quit making it a problem. Shut up, and
- 25:33Speaker 1: her mom is gonna have a new man anyway. Next month.
- 25:35Speaker 1: She gets one every month, she says, So shut up, man,
- 25:42Speaker 1: you sound like Raymond in the closet. One of Tommy's prey.
- 25:49Speaker 1: All right, last one, Steve A f and West Philly
- 25:54Speaker 1: says a close friend movie right, No, I know, I
- 26:01Speaker 1: know AF and West Philly says. A close friend moved
- 26:05Speaker 1: to town three months ago, so I introduced her to
- 26:08Speaker 1: my friends. We always plan to hang out, but um,
- 26:11Speaker 1: she is always busy for me, too busy for me.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I heard she went to brunch with my friends and
- 26:16Speaker 1: I wasn't invited. Should I act unbothered or confront them all? Wow?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Don't is this a man that wrote this letter? Um,
- 26:26Speaker 1: it sounds like a woman, Steve, I think, yeah, it
- 26:31Speaker 1: sounds like a woman, but the initials are AF. Sorry,
- 26:36Speaker 1: but that's probably what you are. Crazy. So then they
- 26:46Speaker 1: found a way to not have to deal with you
- 26:48Speaker 1: at the bunch. I don't. I don't see what confronted
- 26:51Speaker 1: all of it? Once again? Once again, shut up. We
- 26:57Speaker 1: got three letters in a row, but nothing. Shirley. You
- 27:00Speaker 1: know she's ill. I'm just clo and I say so,
- 27:08Speaker 1: damn what your feelings is hurt? The friend came to town.
- 27:12Speaker 1: You introduced your friend to all your friends. They did
- 27:15Speaker 1: all with the brunch and ain't told you. Yeah, so
- 27:17Speaker 1: she's hurt that she was left out and she confront
- 27:23Speaker 1: all free can't find out she hurt? Not Now when
- 27:29Speaker 1: you find out them, ain't your friend. There go some
- 27:33Speaker 1: mo hurt, play it off, act like you didn't know,
- 27:38Speaker 1: like she's unbothered. On and just go on and quit
- 27:41Speaker 1: making an issue because it ain't gonna do nothing. Be
- 27:43Speaker 1: on the you're nothing, be friends. She stole her friends.
- 27:48Speaker 1: She ain't gonna let it go see them. I know
- 27:51Speaker 1: she's not. I keep saying, we as lem y'all talk
- 27:56Speaker 1: too much. Everything don't need some stuff? Is closed? What
- 28:03Speaker 1: is what? Closures? Two words closure? So not but just close.
- 28:09Speaker 1: It's it's two words closed. Wants to get closed? Why
- 28:13Speaker 1: do you have to be sure? Why? What is that?
- 28:20Speaker 1: I got to be sure it's closure. It's closed. Stop
- 28:27Speaker 1: worrying about the other end of it. I got to
- 28:30Speaker 1: be sure it's closed. All right, women, I know y'all
- 28:36Speaker 1: don't know how to do this. You're saying more women
- 28:38Speaker 1: need to learn the art of closure and to move on. No,
- 28:43Speaker 1: all except the ac is just so to the next move,
- 28:47Speaker 1: because it's gonna be some more moves talking. Let these
- 28:51Speaker 1: moves pile up. Let that go all right? All right,
- 28:56Speaker 1: thank you, selo, thank you. Coming up at the top
- 29:00Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you
- 29:03Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show President Biden tested
- 29:10Speaker 1: positive for COVID last Thursday. And then yeah, he needs
- 29:14Speaker 1: some good news, he need to hear him. Yeah. Well,
- 29:18Speaker 1: and then he released a video on Twitter to say
- 29:21Speaker 1: that he is doing well and that he was continuing
- 29:24Speaker 1: to work while in isolation at the White House. The
- 29:27Speaker 1: good news is at Biden is fully vaccinated and twice
- 29:30Speaker 1: boost it and he is taking a paxla bit uh,
- 29:34Speaker 1: the anti viral drug. So there you go. And of
- 29:38Speaker 1: course we wish him well, yes, yeah, we wish him well. Yeah,
- 29:44Speaker 1: he's good. Yeah, it didn't do none to Trump. We
- 29:47Speaker 1: show OVID don't do none to you, right, right, right,
- 29:52Speaker 1: And this is unbelievable. Um, how can you be upset
- 29:56Speaker 1: at Disney? Okay, Disney World, that's the happiest place on earth, right,
- 30:01Speaker 1: you would think. Well, two families got into a fight
- 30:04Speaker 1: while in line at Disney's Magic Kingdom. One family member
- 30:08Speaker 1: got out of line to go get her cell phone
- 30:10Speaker 1: from a scooter, and when she tried to rejoin her group,
- 30:14Speaker 1: another family that was in line wasn't having it. The
- 30:17Speaker 1: other family tried to stop the female from getting in
- 30:19Speaker 1: line with her family, and they started yelling and cursing
- 30:23Speaker 1: at each other. This led to a huge fight among
- 30:26Speaker 1: almost at least ten people, and of course bystanders recorded
- 30:31Speaker 1: the fight and you can see the children on the
- 30:33Speaker 1: video crying. So Disney's security team broke them up. They
- 30:37Speaker 1: broke the fight up, took everyone to the security office.
- 30:41Speaker 1: This was crazy. No nationality, the sign it was it
- 30:53Speaker 1: was us. If one person gets out of line and
- 30:59Speaker 1: comes back to get it, don't affect you. She with
- 31:04Speaker 1: they family. If they said she with us, Come on, man,
- 31:08Speaker 1: what difference do that one damn person make? If that
- 31:12Speaker 1: don't put you in line for another hour, you ain't
- 31:15Speaker 1: in line for another fifteen is one person? Yeah, all
- 31:21Speaker 1: they had to do is just left the woman, like
- 31:23Speaker 1: you said, just get back in line with her family.
- 31:25Speaker 1: That was it. It won't affect you like you said.
- 31:28Speaker 1: That was now y'all that the security office. Ain't nobody
- 31:31Speaker 1: on the ride now. And the babies, yeah, you know
- 31:35Speaker 1: what it is. They hot, They outside hot, standing in
- 31:39Speaker 1: line and you got out of line of scoop back
- 31:42Speaker 1: up and he with that school to trying to get
- 31:44Speaker 1: into and they like, yeah, it really is. And you're
- 31:52Speaker 1: a Disney World. Come on, people, come on. But the
- 31:54Speaker 1: kids know y'all get on the ride right right, stop man,
- 32:01Speaker 1: they gonna USI Baba said some secuity where y'all stop
- 32:08Speaker 1: for they take because I just want to see nicky
- 32:12Speaker 1: mouth cut up. Mama ain't gonna take yas out the
- 32:19Speaker 1: crick security office line. H. They got cameras. Now you
- 32:30Speaker 1: out the park, tam. We got to leave the park
- 32:33Speaker 1: and the babies didn't get to ride like he's dead yet.
- 32:37Speaker 1: They ain't been up to the castle, Biffy Bob. I
- 32:44Speaker 1: can see if y'all whipped the Sesamon Street person asks,
- 32:46Speaker 1: I could see if it was bad. This is the
- 32:50Speaker 1: racial stuff right now, see that it's right. But this
- 32:56Speaker 1: all right? Moving on to Elon must seventy six year
- 32:58Speaker 1: old dad. His name is Errol Well Errol Musk has
- 33:02Speaker 1: revealed that he's looking forward to having more children again.
- 33:06Speaker 1: He's seventy six years old. This comes after he just
- 33:09Speaker 1: welcomed his second child with his former stepdaughter Janna. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:16Speaker 1: I did not stutter. You heard me. He had a
- 33:18Speaker 1: relationship with his stepdaughter who's grown now she's grown now
- 33:22Speaker 1: they have two children together. Nah. Now. Errol is claiming
- 33:29Speaker 1: that his sperm is highly sought after in Colombia. He said,
- 33:33Speaker 1: a South American company wants to donate his sperm to
- 33:36Speaker 1: quote unquote high class women. These women had hoped to
- 33:40Speaker 1: get pregnant by his son Elon, but change their minds
- 33:43Speaker 1: once they realize that they could have his sperm instead,
- 33:46Speaker 1: the daddy sperm instead. So the question is who wants
- 33:49Speaker 1: a seventy six year old man sperm? And is he
- 33:53Speaker 1: a billionaire like Elon? I think he's a millionaire. A
- 33:56Speaker 1: couple of millions say it against it. There's a strong
- 34:07Speaker 1: possibility that your baby could come out looking like Benjamin Butch.
- 34:12Speaker 1: But it's all kinds of the thing wrong with that story.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Yeah he needed Disney as Yeah, Yeah, I think that's
- 34:30Speaker 1: the tone of the day. Finally, our forever First Lady,
- 34:35Speaker 1: Michelle Obama has revealed that she will release her second
- 34:38Speaker 1: book in November. The new book is titled The Light
- 34:41Speaker 1: We Carry Overcoming in Uncertain Times and our Forever First
- 34:45Speaker 1: Lady stated that the book offers readers a series of
- 34:48Speaker 1: stories and insightful reflections on change, challenge, and power. She
- 34:52Speaker 1: is drawing from her experiences as a mother, as a daughter,
- 34:56Speaker 1: as a spouse, as a friend, and as first eight
- 35:00Speaker 1: So there you go, that's coming up for the other people.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Her books is always enlightening and take the high row,
- 35:09Speaker 1: very excitful, wonderful stories. So I'm gonna release the book
- 35:12Speaker 1: album title Tyler, My new book is gonna be You
- 35:15Speaker 1: ain't got to take it no moment. What's what's it about?
- 35:20Speaker 1: You ain't got to take it no moment. And all
- 35:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna have is stories of people are just hitting
- 35:26Speaker 1: Nate chapters. Is today one to day? You picked the
- 35:32Speaker 1: wrong one? All right, you go ahead, twenty minutes after
- 35:39Speaker 1: the hour. Anyone care to be ethically non monogamous? Ethically
- 35:45Speaker 1: non monogamous? It's really popular these days. We'll talk about
- 35:49Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right. So there's
- 35:54Speaker 1: an all new dating term that's really popular on many
- 35:58Speaker 1: dating apps right now now. It's called ethical nonmonogamy. It
- 36:04Speaker 1: is the practice of having a close or sexual relationship
- 36:08Speaker 1: where both parties consent to infidelity. In other words, yeah, okay,
- 36:21Speaker 1: in other words, I tell you I'm married and you
- 36:23Speaker 1: agree to sleep with me anyway. That's basically what it is.
- 36:27Speaker 1: It's just cheating, okay, swinging swinging, yeah. Open relationships and
- 36:33Speaker 1: polyamory all fall under the umbrella of ethical nonmonogamy. People
- 36:38Speaker 1: are embracing this concept so much that it's now something
- 36:42Speaker 1: you put in your dating profile to let people know
- 36:45Speaker 1: what you're into. In a twenty twenty you gov poll
- 36:48Speaker 1: of US adults, a third of the People's survey chose
- 36:52Speaker 1: ethical nonmonogamy. Millennials were the most likely to choose this
- 36:57Speaker 1: type of relationship. It's been out. When your wife ceo profile,
- 37:06Speaker 1: what is it gonna safety? You got to hear him
- 37:17Speaker 1: get that to you. You're gonna have to take that
- 37:21Speaker 1: when you're partnerfied that you're gonna take because you ain't
- 37:25Speaker 1: got to do that. Why is ethical attached? I guess
- 37:29Speaker 1: because you disclosed it. I'm married up front. I don't know.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out who don't know I ain't married. Well,
- 37:39Speaker 1: you're you're famous, so that's a little different everybody, the idiots.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I just want to put it out there being more
- 37:47Speaker 1: or ethical or non monogolous relationships. That same profile would
- 37:53Speaker 1: be in my obituary, the exact same profile here lies
- 38:01Speaker 1: mystic consensual non ethical ethical nomenogamy. Yeah, that's what he
- 38:10Speaker 1: was in while he was alive. That's crazy, That is crazy. Well,
- 38:16Speaker 1: it's on a dating app. But I think people think
- 38:18Speaker 1: if they, if they, if they put a cuter term
- 38:22Speaker 1: to it, or a nicer term or a sexier term,
- 38:25Speaker 1: they change the name of it, it makes it better.
- 38:27Speaker 1: It's like it's like consensual co parity. Yeah with Van Jones. Yeah,
- 38:34Speaker 1: well I didn't know it was Van Jones, but I
- 38:37Speaker 1: was baby baby Daddy, baby daddy, baby MoMA baby daddy. Yeah,

- 45:22Speaker 1: whether weather be hot? What were in this together? Whell
- 45:29Speaker 1: we like it a night? What's the name of the
- 45:32Speaker 1: prank again? Nephew? Baby? Wait? Man wait man, baby wait,
- 45:43Speaker 1: come on? Did his exercises? Come back with the prank
- 45:47Speaker 1: and steel? But he's sound worse like, oh mantel, come
- 45:55Speaker 1: on hello, hello, I'm trying to reach trainer police. Yeah,
- 46:03Speaker 1: this is trainer TRAINA. My name is Ernest, Ernest Murphy
- 46:07Speaker 1: down here at the bus bard with the from the
- 46:09Speaker 1: school district. Your son is Devin, am I right? Yeah? Okay?
- 46:15Speaker 1: Now he's in the sixth grade, I think yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 46:20Speaker 1: everything is flying. I think he's on He rides bus ninety,
- 46:24Speaker 1: Bus ninety three. Does he ride plus ninety three? Uh? Yeah,
- 46:29Speaker 1: yeah he does. Okay, So now the school board has
- 46:33Speaker 1: implemented a new rule, and um, we're having to call
- 46:38Speaker 1: a lot of parents and let him know about the
- 46:40Speaker 1: new rule for us as far as the buses are concerned. Now,
- 46:44Speaker 1: from my understanding, each child that gets on the bus
- 46:48Speaker 1: has to weigh less than one hundred and twenty five pounds.
- 46:52Speaker 1: That's what the new rule that is implemented by the board.
- 46:56Speaker 1: What did you say that again? I felt something. Each
- 47:01Speaker 1: each child that gets on the bus has to weigh
- 47:05Speaker 1: less than one hundred and twenty five parents. I don't understand.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I don't understand. So what's okay? So what does what
- 47:14Speaker 1: does that mean? So starting on Monday, starting no Monday,
- 47:18Speaker 1: what they're gonna do if they're gonna the bus driver
- 47:21Speaker 1: will have a scale and he will wagh the kids
- 47:24Speaker 1: they get on the bus. I understand, man, the doctor,
- 47:28Speaker 1: like I say, I'm calling, I'm calling every patent that
- 47:31Speaker 1: they say, you're gonna you're gonna weigh my child before
- 47:35Speaker 1: he gets on the bus. That's that's what the new rule.
- 47:38Speaker 1: That's what the new rules. If he's over one twenty five,
- 47:41Speaker 1: then he he'll either have to walk, you have to
- 47:43Speaker 1: take him to school. But I have a job. Okay,
- 47:47Speaker 1: I have a job. I thought it gonna take my
- 47:49Speaker 1: kids in school, but I don't. That's what the bus explored.
- 47:52Speaker 1: That's what my tax dollars paid for us. Right. But
- 47:57Speaker 1: the reasoning, the rationale behind this. Okay, let me tell
- 48:00Speaker 1: you what's going on. From what they're saying here, the
- 48:03Speaker 1: weight of these children is wearing down these transmissions on
- 48:07Speaker 1: this bus, on these buses, transmission, the transmission cannot take
- 48:11Speaker 1: all of that. So they are limiting the weight of
- 48:15Speaker 1: each child. So now how much does that disma? I
- 48:19Speaker 1: think that's discrimination, but it defin over Is he over
- 48:24Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty five pounds? He okay, he is. Okay,
- 48:30Speaker 1: then you're gonna you're probably gonna have to take your
- 48:32Speaker 1: son to school or he gonna have to walk. He
- 48:35Speaker 1: probably needed to walk to school if he already or
- 48:37Speaker 1: hundred twenty five pounds after are you talking about? Man?
- 48:48Speaker 1: All I'm saying. All I'm saying is if your son
- 48:51Speaker 1: is overweight one hundred and twenty five, you know, maybe
- 48:55Speaker 1: the exercise are doing good. When like I said that,
- 48:57Speaker 1: the school is that gonna allow him on the pus.
- 49:00Speaker 1: But sir, I will not accept this. If who do
- 49:04Speaker 1: I need to call? Is there a manager? Is there
- 49:07Speaker 1: a city's council member? I mean, this is seriously the
- 49:10Speaker 1: most up discriminatory practice I've ever heard of. It doesn't
- 49:14Speaker 1: even make sense. You're talking about a child. I understand,
- 49:17Speaker 1: but we're talking about a child way more than a
- 49:20Speaker 1: grown person. So I need to get what is your name, sir?
- 49:23Speaker 1: Tell me your name again. My name is Ernest. I'm
- 49:27Speaker 1: down here at the bus ball. I would like to
- 49:29Speaker 1: speak to the supervisor, like, now, what do you do?
- 49:33Speaker 1: Not get to speak to my about my child that way?
- 49:36Speaker 1: You get to speak to any kid that way? You
- 49:38Speaker 1: should not be working at a school if that is
- 49:40Speaker 1: your attitude. I'm no, I don't work at the school.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I work at the bus ball and I'm down here
- 49:45Speaker 1: at the bus ball and they gave me, you know,
- 49:47Speaker 1: nothing then to day right because you're saying heat o
- 49:49Speaker 1: behind in twenty fat. I am an absolute shock. This
- 49:54Speaker 1: is so okay. So do you have a fantic? I mean,
- 50:00Speaker 1: do you have scuba? I'm so, do you have a
- 50:01Speaker 1: big chore? Listen? What my child looks like, how much
- 50:05Speaker 1: he weighs is none of your business. I'm going to
- 50:08Speaker 1: call the school. They can't be working with your company.
- 50:11Speaker 1: If this is the way that you treat people and
- 50:14Speaker 1: you talk about children, this doesn't matter with here. I
- 50:19Speaker 1: guess what they're doing is this is the way of
- 50:22Speaker 1: them approaching obesity. You know, whoever, whoever over one hundred,
- 50:29Speaker 1: they might walk it all you'll start listen, listen, that
- 50:33Speaker 1: is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Okay, I
- 50:37Speaker 1: have to work. My son is getting on that bus
- 50:40Speaker 1: and I'm going to call the schoolboard and should not
- 50:42Speaker 1: be working with you another bus company? I don't know,
- 50:45Speaker 1: but I'm calling the city. I will call members they
- 50:48Speaker 1: need to call. But you need to give me a
- 50:49Speaker 1: supervisor's name right now, right now? Do you think you
- 50:54Speaker 1: need to start cooking different poso? Divin don't have you know,
- 50:57Speaker 1: maybe maybe it's start us at home, which you feed
- 51:00Speaker 1: me everybody, you know, I am calling the supervisor. I'm
- 51:06Speaker 1: calling this the city, I'm calling the school. I'm going
- 51:09Speaker 1: so fired, like I can't even believe that you're allowed
- 51:12Speaker 1: to make this call like our other parents. Okay with this,
- 51:17Speaker 1: I'm called. Well, you own your way to work in
- 51:20Speaker 1: the morning. TRAINA. Do you listen to the Steve Harvey
- 51:24Speaker 1: Morning Show? Oh my god, yes I do. From the
- 51:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Yes, your cousin Vicky got me to prank
- 51:39Speaker 1: Polk call you baby. Oh my god, I'm gonna yeah.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I mean I was like, oh my god, I love Harvey.
- 51:49Speaker 1: I love you. I was a herd that God, you
- 51:54Speaker 1: gotta tell me this baby, TRAINA. What is the baddest
- 51:57Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the lake?
- 52:02Speaker 1: Steve Harvey? Like? Who you play much? Harvey talking about
- 52:13Speaker 1: the ladies? Baby like that we in here cranking up.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I know it was all of us kids twenty five pounds.
- 52:26Speaker 1: I'm just saying, if if he don't if he don't
- 52:27Speaker 1: make weight on the scale outside that bus walking and
- 52:31Speaker 1: you take his bud to school, that's gonna high work.
- 52:33Speaker 1: That's high. It works around okay, do you need to
- 52:36Speaker 1: cook differently? Lost my mind? All right, nephew, just because
- 52:45Speaker 1: you got a fat ass, I mean, excuse, just because
- 52:48Speaker 1: your baby is a little old fan. I was HOLLI

- 53:35Speaker 1: Subject He's fired and I'm under new management. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I'm a forty one year old white lady and I
- 53:42Speaker 1: work in corporate America with a very good job. I
- 53:46Speaker 1: go to work dress like a million bucks every day
- 53:49Speaker 1: because I had I had helped buying my designer pieces.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I always start at the top one I date, and
- 53:55Speaker 1: I've never dated a man that is beneath me. A
- 53:57Speaker 1: man isn't even beneath me when we are having sex.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I'm always on top and everything I do. I have
- 54:04Speaker 1: a son, and he likes the best of everything. I
- 54:09Speaker 1: work hard to keep him in a lifestyle that I
- 54:11Speaker 1: didn't have growing up. At work, I'm an executive and
- 54:15Speaker 1: I report to the president of the company. I had
- 54:17Speaker 1: a private affair with the last president of my company,
- 54:20Speaker 1: and he slipped up and his wife found out about me.
- 54:23Speaker 1: She didn't let him know anything. She went straight to
- 54:27Speaker 1: the board members of our company, and he would let go.
- 54:30Speaker 1: I felt terrible about it, and he wanted to continue
- 54:32Speaker 1: the affair, but it would have put my job in jeopardy,
- 54:37Speaker 1: so I moved on and prayed that the gossip woulden league.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Nine months later, we have a new interim president and
- 54:44Speaker 1: he's black. I love a man in power, and he's
- 54:47Speaker 1: not all that handsome, but he can dress and he
- 54:49Speaker 1: carries himself as though he runs the world. I guess
- 54:53Speaker 1: that he hasn't heard the gossip because he has already
- 54:56Speaker 1: asked me to go to lunch with him to give
- 54:59Speaker 1: him an overview of the day to day operations. Could
- 55:02Speaker 1: it be that I'm at the executive level and he
- 55:05Speaker 1: wants to hear from a manager, or is it because
- 55:08Speaker 1: he's interested in me? The best part is that he
- 55:11Speaker 1: is single and he is the interim president, so legally
- 55:14Speaker 1: we can do anything we want. He said, he's picked
- 55:17Speaker 1: the perfect place for us to go where we can
- 55:20Speaker 1: talk without distractions and he can get to know me.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Does this sound like he's coming onto me? Or is
- 55:26Speaker 1: this a professional lunch? Okay? Really, you already know, you
- 55:34Speaker 1: already know what the deal is. He asked you to
- 55:38Speaker 1: go out, and he's picked the place where you won't
- 55:41Speaker 1: be distracted and he can get to know you. That
- 55:44Speaker 1: is not lunch. That's a date. Okay, that is a date.
- 55:48Speaker 1: And surely you know that. You see that you are new.
- 55:51Speaker 1: You're not new at this dating thing. You're not certainly
- 55:54Speaker 1: not new at dating your bosses. I mean, isn't that
- 55:57Speaker 1: how it starts? You know, when they ask you to
- 55:59Speaker 1: go out like that, That's how it starts, right. So
- 56:02Speaker 1: my question to you is what is your goal? Do
- 56:05Speaker 1: you want to get married eventually. Do you want to
- 56:07Speaker 1: be in a relationship. Do you just want to do
- 56:09Speaker 1: all the presidents in the company. I mean, what is
- 56:12Speaker 1: your goal? You're doing all that you're doing for a reason.
- 56:16Speaker 1: You wear designer clothes every day, you have a stylist
- 56:19Speaker 1: to pick out your designer pieces. You've never dated beneath you.
- 56:23Speaker 1: You're always on top, you say, even in the bedroom.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You sound very confident, very self assured, which is a
- 56:29Speaker 1: good thing of course, no self esteem problems here. But
- 56:33Speaker 1: my question still remains, what is your goal? What do
- 56:36Speaker 1: you want? Have you just written Steve and I to
- 56:39Speaker 1: brag or is there a means to the end? I
- 56:43Speaker 1: really don't think you would just be putting this much
- 56:45Speaker 1: effort into anything if you weren't purpose driven. You just
- 56:48Speaker 1: want you just will not come right out and say
- 56:52Speaker 1: that that's what you want. You want us to think
- 56:54Speaker 1: that you got it all together or you're on top,
- 56:56Speaker 1: as you say, but with no endgame in mind. That
- 57:00Speaker 1: doesn't that doesn't make sense. You want to snag one
- 57:02Speaker 1: of these company presidents so you can continue your lifestyle
- 57:05Speaker 1: and level up. That's why, for sure, you are definitely
- 57:08Speaker 1: going to go out to lunch with this new guy
- 57:11Speaker 1: in hopes that he could be the one that you
- 57:13Speaker 1: finally get. Otherwise, why would you even mention that he's
- 57:16Speaker 1: single and it's legal. You guys could do whatever you want. Listen,
- 57:19Speaker 1: I say, enjoy your date with him, but when you
- 57:21Speaker 1: write us, please be honest about your intentions. You are
- 57:25Speaker 1: trying to get a president. That's what it is. Say
- 57:28Speaker 1: what it is, Steve, Okay, Ave, Yeah, I don't feel
- 57:37Speaker 1: like play it alone. Right. You know, look listen, let
- 57:42Speaker 1: me stop. This has nothing to do with race, So
- 57:49Speaker 1: let me clear that up. So while I'm giving my answer,
- 57:53Speaker 1: this answer would apply to anybody. You made it racial
- 57:59Speaker 1: because you wanted to let us know you are a
- 58:02Speaker 1: forty one year old white lady and you wanted to
- 58:06Speaker 1: let us know the color of the new interim president.
- 58:10Speaker 1: We wouldn't have known no different. You could have just
- 58:13Speaker 1: said this is how I am, this is what I do.
- 58:16Speaker 1: But you made it racial. I'm just the guy for it, Steve,
- 58:21Speaker 1: A Right, let's go. Sixty five years old, I'd have
- 58:27Speaker 1: seen this movie before, so let's go. You want to
- 58:31Speaker 1: make it racial, and you want to bank it what
- 58:33Speaker 1: it is. Now here he is. This letter is about
- 58:37Speaker 1: a white gold digger. So now here we go. I'm
- 58:46Speaker 1: a forty one year old white lady. I don't know
- 58:50Speaker 1: why you thought of necessary to tell us that, but fine.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I work in corporate America with a very good job.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I go to work dress like a million bucks every
- 58:58Speaker 1: day because calls. I had help buying my designer pieces.
- 59:07Speaker 1: I always start at the top when I date. I've
- 59:11Speaker 1: never dated a man that is beneath me. A man
- 59:15Speaker 1: isn't even beneath me when we having sex. I'm always
- 59:19Speaker 1: on top in everything I do. Okay, white lady, you better,
- 59:26Speaker 1: You're better explain this, White lady. I can't call you
- 59:33Speaker 1: by your name that you didn't give us that you
- 59:37Speaker 1: described yourself as a white lady. Hang on, black man,
- 59:42Speaker 1: hang on coming back more about the white lady when
- 59:46Speaker 1: we come back. That's right. Part two of scenes response
- 59:49Speaker 1: coming up in twenty three minutes after be our subject.
- 59:52Speaker 1: He got fired and I'm under new management. We'll get
- 59:55Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to the
- 59:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter and finish up with your response. Okay,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: because I'm not in the mood today, I told you
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: anything to play. So I'm gonna call it like it is.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: This is a letter. It's about a white gold digger.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: And the reason I'm starting off the letter with this
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: is a white gold digger because this is how the
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: woman started her letter. Dear Steve and shrill, she talking VOFO.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I am a forty one year old white lady. This
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: ain't even necessary, but that's what you want to make
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: it about. I'm the guy for you, white ladies. Say.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I work in corporate America with a very good job.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I go to work dressed like a million bucks every
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: day because I had help buying my designer piece. But
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: we already know what that is. I also started at
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the top when I date that I've never dated a
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: man beneath me. A man isn't beneath me even when
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: we have in sex. I'm always on top in everything
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I do. Oh kay, white lady. I have a son
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and he likes the best of everything too, ye ain't you.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I worked hard to keep him in a lifestyle that
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I didn't have growing up. And she ain't talking about
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: just working hard at her y'all. She working hard to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: date from the top and stay on top at work.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I'm an executive and I report to the president of
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: the company. I had a private affair with the last
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: president of my company. He slipped up and his wife
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: found out about me. She didn't let him know anything.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: She went straight to the board members of our company
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and he was let go. Now this, I can assure you,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: was this a white lady moved The president you were
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: sleeping with was white because the black lady ain't keeping
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: nothing to her and to the boy. Oh no, this
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: fitning to be a corporate ass whipping on display. Black women.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Take it to the house, the parking lot, the church, Facebook,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Facebook Live. Here's the Graham, her brother, her cousins, everybody involved.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: So I know they. I felt terrible about it, and
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: he wanted to continue. But continue, Why would I continue?
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: You ain't on top now right, He don't date for me.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: But it would have put my job in jeopardy. How
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: would it put your job in jefandy he going up.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: You didn't get put in jeopandy when he got fired,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: So that's a lot. It wouldn't have put your job
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: in jempan And I'm gonna prove it to you. Nine
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: months later, we had a new in her in president
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and he's black. Okay, Yeah, to tell us that I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: love a man in power, Yes, you do, because you
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: are golden and he's not all that handsome, but he
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: can dressing him carrish himself as though he runs the world.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: A lot of ugly people in Trump was in charge,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is in charge. I'm in charge of this radio show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I ain't all that good. Look at my damn so
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I can get it. But but you said, but he
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: can dress and he carris himself and don't run the world.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Yes I do. So now you got this black dude.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I guess that he hasn't heard the gossip because he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: has already asked me to go to lunch with him
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: to give him an overrule the day to day operation.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Could it be here for she tried to play. Yeah,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: could it be that I'm at the executive level and
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: he wants to hear from a manager? Or is it
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: because he's interested in me? She tried to trick us. No, lady,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: you the ones that you see, you the ones, and
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: now let me show you something. The best part is
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: he's single and he's the interim president, so legally we
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: can do what we want. Sous. Just a minute ago,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: the reason you would not date the white man after
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: he got fired was because you said it would put
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: you It would have put my job in jevity. How
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: he don't even work out no more? He don't even
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: work out no more. But now you haven't figured out
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: that the black dude says he's single and he didn't
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: interest president. It's fine, so legally we can do what

- 1:06:41Speaker 1: surprise was gonna be the resolution from the State of Georgia.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Thank y'all so much for the resolution that Man, it

- 1:06:58Speaker 1: of you. Boy man, you're Sanders. Let's just go ahead,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: just Prime time. Let's go ahead, Man Prime, Come on,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: man Prime out here working man Prime. Dean Sanders has
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: dominated half of his salary to make sure that the
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: jail suit JSU football facility is completed all time this
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: boarding gave up half his salary. I'm proud of you.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Proud that's proud of you. Man. You think hccus look
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: good man, Hans out here working, Thank you. Prime Sporting
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: donated half his salary. I can't give up half my
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: salary for six sis. I tell that right now. I'm
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: not doing it your salary for six Yeah, y'all ask
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: for to be sick for the be here. I just
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: want to just just acknowledged pride for what he doing.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: But that since you know your half or your salary
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: ain't gonna cutest thing now, junior. You would give up
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: half your salary if it cutity, if it killed it.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: But since I know eight research my salary, I just
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: wanted to show you the difference he donated for JAU football.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: There he has committed. I committed to six, but not
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: have my salary. I'm not thank you, appreciate you pride.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Also in track and field, man, let's give it up
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: for the women fox by one. I don't know if
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: y'all saw that. Whatever, oh man, they walked Jamaica down. Dog, No, no, no,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: we could first place in the World Championship by one
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: hundred relay team man forty one fourteen timing in the
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: foe by one. Them girls was moving. I saw the
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: world records, the new girl, the black girl that set
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: the world record in the four hundred hurdles. Yeah, dogs,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: she ran it in fifty point eight seven dog. At
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: the height of my track career, I couldn't run that
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: in the four hundred. Was no damn hurdle stick. They
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: didn't even have a brand playing cross the track. Fifty
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: about you. Thank you coming up in the top of
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the hour. If you need encouragement to start a business.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: We've got it for you. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: to the morning show. Well, Rihanna is expanding her massive
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: beauty empire by adding fenty Hair to the brand. Rihanna
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: has filed a trademark for fenty Hair with the United
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: States Patent and Trademark Office. Her the filing, Some of
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: the products featured in the line will include hair brands, curlers, combs, clips, ribbons, brushes,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: and most anticipated wigs and extensions. So, Steve, many times, yeah,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: many times, Steve, people have wanted to start businesses but
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: think they can't um have some type of business because
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: it's been done so many times. Now, if Rihanna had
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: thought like that, she would never have launched fenty Beauty
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: in the first place and become the billionaire that she is.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: So any words of encouragement for our wanna be entrepreneurs
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: that are listening, Well, you know, if it's in your imagination,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: if in your heart is something that you should pursue,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: you know, it doesn't matter that it's been done before.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: You have three ways of making money, a lot of money.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: You can be the first, you can be the best,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: or you can be the only, just because first is gone,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: and just because only is gone, that can be a
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: better way to accomplish. The first person that made a
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: car that wasn't the best car, it was the first
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: car and the only car. It was the best car
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: at the time, but somebody improved on that car. So
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: you know, you have to go within yourself. Man, stop
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: trying to compare yourself. Rihanna knows hew out there already.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: But Rihanna also know it's only one Rihanna, and there's
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: some people gonna go with her because it's Rihanna. Some
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: people would go with you if you show yourself to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: be a better way to get the product, a better
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: way to get to service, a better way to service
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: to people, and then you can make money at it.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: You know that's you. Look, if you want to look
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: for reasons why not to start a company, why not
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: to get into business, and why something don't work, you
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: will be successful at that. Every time. It's like when
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I take a new idea to my team, I had
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: this lady didn't work for me. She's a lot better
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: now because she's really really smart. But every time I
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: took something to this lady, she would tell me why
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I won't work. But mister Hervey. This can happen because
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I got all that. How do you think I got here?
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I was told from the get go it wasn't gonna work.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: I'm a master of it ain't gonna work. I got that.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I brought this idea, and your job is to tell
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: me how it can work. Yeah, but I also want
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: to present the pros and the cons. I don't need
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: the cons already. Know you're the first con out of
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: ran into. You keep telling me why I won't work.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I'm not interested in that. I want to know how
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: can we make it work? And that's because that's how
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I approach everything. When somebody else is doing this already
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: and it's like, Okay, my book came out. You I
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: ain't had a first book, right right right, This isn't
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: the first radio show. I didn't have the only only
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: book only relationship. Yeah, I know. I wrote Act like
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: a lady, Think like a man with a different title
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: and a different aim. That's how it became successful. Shirley
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: said it that, well, this ain't the first radio show,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: but it's a damn book one. Oh yeah, but it's
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: the only one with us on it. Come on, now,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you know that's what I wanted you to get to Yeah.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: So see, don't don't ever let your ideas get stopped
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: by somebody beating you to the punch. Also, let me
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: share another thing. No matter how successful something is, somebody
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: still didn't get it. Ron Hosley taught this lesson to me.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: At the time. That was five billion people in the
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: world when we had this conversation. It's eight billion people.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: This is a long time ago. Five billion people in
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: the world. I said, Ron, all your albums go platinum bad.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: He says, Steve, that ain't nice. He said, that's a
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: million people bought that album. I said, man, but that's
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: huge in the record business. He said, you know what
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: that means. That means four billion, nine hundred ninety nine
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: million people. Don't give a damn about me now, man.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I went, okay, all right, thank you for that wisdom. Steve.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Byron Allen
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: is the brand new owner of the Black News Channel.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: this Stave Harvey Morning Show. Comedian, businessman and producer. Byron
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Allen has bought the Black News Channel for eleven million dollars,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: reviving it from bankruptcy. Byron Allen already just owns over
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: twenty seven news stations in the United States, including the
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Weather Channel. The Black News Channel was launched back in
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: twenty twenty and shut down in March of this year.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Allen says he plans to deliver a best in class
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: network for the underserved African American community and the advertiser
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: and the advertisers who want to reach this extremely valuable audience.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: So thank you to Byron Allen. Yeah, that's good. Yeah,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you know him right, Steve from a medal before. But
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: we're not friends, but we're friend lee. You know, we
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: don't hang out or none. But he's a great dude. Man.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Always been a hustler, man, Brian Bryan Allen has always
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: been that too. You ever noticed, man, you look up
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: on TV, you always see a show l laugh at night,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: you know, unleashed comment all listen right here. He's actually
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: very smart at what he does. And he'll take them
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: late night time slots and he'll own that advertising and
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: he'll give them guys them up and comings or people
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: that give them a shot, put them on TV, let
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: them promote their stuff, and he make money. Man, that
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: guy has just always been a hustler and a very
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: very astute business man. Bryan Allen's very very bright when
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: it comes to business because he's always reshaping himself and
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: reinvent this. So okay, all right, well, congratulations and thank
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: you for keeping the Black News Channel alive. All Right,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll do
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: a round it. Would you rather right after this? You're listening,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: it didn't turn down for rather? Would you rather be
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: without your two front teeth? Or would you rather be
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: without your eyebrows? Yeah? Talk about I just listened eyebrows
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: on him? Well, we knocked him to head these two
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: damn teeth missing that ain't right up in the front.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: But would but would you draw your brows on? Yeah?
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: I see what I look like without them for a minute,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: but were not finished. And let's talk about we don't
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: even really use our eyebrows as much. I mean, I
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: ain't surprised as much in life Noway, extra two extra
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: mustaches is all that is? I don't know, that's all.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I got a much stass. I just frowned a lot
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: and didn't look the same yeah, all right. Would you
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: rather urinate a little when you laugh? Or would you
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: rather drool when you speak? When you talk? I rather
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: drew when I told it. Really, yeah, I'm gonna peel
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: a little bit. Yeah, just a little when you laugh.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: But we laugh a lot of this show. I laugh
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: all the time, and I wear a lot of light
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: colored pants. Stains gonna show up now, I'm just looking
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: like an old man. Need to die? No, I wipe
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: my mouth. You can't wipe that palls all right, here's
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: one for you guys. Would you rather a full head
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: of hair for one month? Are you? My boy? You
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: dragged you your ass right on in here? No, no, no, no,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: you're not full head. We're right here. Were talking to you.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: If you own a zoom. Look at him right now,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: back with his head set go ahead. I didn't even
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: get a chance to finish it. Dang. Would you rather
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: have a full ahead of hair for a month? Or
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: would you rather have abs of steel for a month?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Do give me them half? I'm pitt give a damn
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: about no half? You know? Not? A question? Is junior?
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Which one you want? It works out? Coming back? I
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: keep holding on for no reason. I'm ltd in here.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Hold on, I'm looking at you right now. Your hairlining
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: even with your heads had curls too. Yeah, all right, guys,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: that's today's round. Would you rather coming up in forty
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour, It is our last break
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: the day, and we'll get some closing remarks from the
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: one in at least Steve Harvey right after this. You're
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: here we are last break on this Monday. It's been
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: a good Monday. Yep, new weekday. Yeah yeah, yeah, this
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: is my birthday week. Yes, it is Thursday. So let's
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: talk about that. The turn up for her junior is
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: very low. If you know it, especially now. A matter
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: of fact, you won't even notice the turn up. Not
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: get my hair and nails done, that's the turn up. Yes,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: all right, Steve. You know we were talking early junior
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: or not, and it led me to want to share
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: this closing remark. You know, Um, I try to keep
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: encouraging people, because that was the one thing I did
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: not get a lot of when I was out there
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: struggling and trying to make it. I didn't get a
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: lot of encouragement, A lot of it is because I
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: was homeless and living in a car. Nobody really knew
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: the dreams, and I didn't want to share it with
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: the people that I knew because I knew they wasn't
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: supportive of it. So I and I'm not saying I
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: was alone. God was with me the entire time, even
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: when I wasn't having an active relationship with it. He
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: just kept his eye on me, you know, he just
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: he just kept kept his eye on me because it
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: could have been far worse. But he just, you know,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: he let me wallow in it because he was one
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: of the decisions I made. These are the consequences I
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: had to face. But he kept his eye on I
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: know he did. I know my mom will was somewhere
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: praying for me, because that's all it could have been.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Because as bad as it was, it could have been worse.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: So I know what it is to need encouragement, and
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: that's the purpose I try to use a lot of
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: my closing remarks for We were talking earlier about starting
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: a business, and you know how people look for reasons
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: why not to start a business, or why not to
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: take a leap of faith, or why not to jump
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: or why not to go down there and feel out
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: that application, or why not try to climb the corporate letter.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: And one of the excuses people use it's cause somebody
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: already doing it. Well, it's already a skincare line out there,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: it's a lot of them. It's already a clothing line
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: out there. So what you ain't gonna start your clothing
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: line because because Nike out there? Why why you're you're
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: You're not gonna make your eyeglasses because RayBan already and
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: beat you to it. You're not You're not gonna design
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: nothing new because somebody to beat you to it. To
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: get rid of that attitude, stop looking for reasons why
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: not to and come up with the reasons why you should.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: The three ways to guarantee yourself of making a lot
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: of money is to be the first. The best are
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: the only. If you can become one of those, you're successful.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: But just because you're the first ain't gonna mean to
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you the last one and you the only one gonna
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: make money. And just because you're the only one, don't
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: mean you're gonna remain the only one. And just because
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you're the best one right now, don't mean somebody can't
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: come along in top day. We're in the competitive society today,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: we're in the society of technology that's moving along. Everything
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: we used to do back when I was younger, they're
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: doing it better now period. For it was the first
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: person to come out with a car. See first was
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: good when it was first, and it was the best,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: and it was the only. But somebody looked at that
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: and say, many we can reprove we can improve on that.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: For they number one car company in the world, no more.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but they might not
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: be the number one car company in the world, but
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: even if they are, it's a lot of car companies
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: out there making money. So stop allowing the fact that
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: something already exists to stop you from doing your version
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: of it. You know, Like it all began when they
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: were talking about Rihanna's coming out with this hair, where
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: everybody doing hair, every name Dame Rihanna. And when you
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: come out with yours, they ain't you give yourself some credit?
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: God make you, made you uniquely. You is only one
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: of you of the eight billion people on planet Earth,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: not a single one of us have the same fingerprint.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: God know what he's doing. God knows how to make
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: you uniquely you. You're the only one with this set
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: of thank print. But you stand He want to put
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: yourself in the group when clearly God made you to
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: stand out. We're gonna get to standard, and sometimes you
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: gotta put your life together. I've been piecing my life
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: together for years now. Man, why you got so many jobs?
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Because I'm trying to piece it together. Man. Look, I
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: don't have one of them jobs where they pay me
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: a hundred million one time and now I can go
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: sit down, and then I show up again they pay
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: me another one hundred million. I wish I had that,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: but I don't. So my idea has been to piece
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: it together. Let me give you example how pieces really work.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: When you go to Popeyes Kentucky chicken place and you
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: got a lot of people you're trying to feed. You
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: want to go out there sometime and you look at
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: a bucket and the chicken, and you want the bucket.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: The biggest bucket I've seen is a twenty piece. They
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: probably got one bigger that. Now I've probably got a
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: family pack or something like that. Well, you used to
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: get the twenty piece bucket the chicken, But do you
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: know what was in the twenty then the bucket the chicken.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: It was chicken pieces. It was a little wing, no
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: meat on that one little tip. It was a leg,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: and now a thigh, it was a breast. It was pieces.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Sometimes you got to just go ahead and deal with
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: the pieces to make yourself into a bucket of chicken.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: What difference do it make? Y'all might have pieced my
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: whole career together, but I got a bucket. Now everybody
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: in my family can eat off the bucket a chicken.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Quit worrying about everybody else. Put your pieces together, make
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: yourself a bucket of chicken. Gone to the chicken, have
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: itself time. Those are my clothing in mark. So I
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: hope you got something. If you didn't see the mom
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: may we're getting something. Many you don't get nothing in
