- 0:10Speaker 3: Soon given them the bus bussy.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Steve Yeah, listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 3: St Joy, Yeah, Joy.
- 0:59Speaker 4: You you.
- 1:20Speaker 5: You gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 3: To turn them out to turn probably got to turn mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Turn the water of the money up. Wouldn't come me.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Come out?
- 1:59Speaker 8: You're thinking, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 8: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 8: One and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 8: Steve Harvey got a radio show because God in the
- 2:13Speaker 8: blessing business. Yeah, that's all. I'm just a recipient. Steve
- 2:20Speaker 8: Harvey got a radio show because God is in the show.
- 2:22Speaker 8: You favor business. He showed me some favor. Steve Harvey
- 2:28Speaker 8: got a radio show because God is in a forgiving business.
- 2:33Speaker 8: God then forgave me thousands and thousands of times, you know.
- 2:42Speaker 8: And I say that as a big number like that,
- 2:44Speaker 8: because it's probably true. God is a forgiving God. That's
- 2:49Speaker 8: how it exists today, and that's how you exist today.
- 2:52Speaker 8: And one of the things I want to remind you
- 2:54Speaker 8: about even in existing today, you know, Joel Ostein has
- 2:58Speaker 8: a book out call It's Your Time. I love this book.
- 3:02Speaker 8: It's called It's Your Time, and that's kind of what
- 3:05Speaker 8: I want to touch on today. And I want to
- 3:08Speaker 8: remind you all that it's still your time. See, you know,
- 3:14Speaker 8: there's look, you know, they've got unsuccessful people have created
- 3:20Speaker 8: a lot of sayings to justify our failures as people.
- 3:27Speaker 7: Well, my ship has passed.
- 3:30Speaker 8: That was created by a person who did not quite
- 3:36Speaker 8: make their goal in the amount of time that they
- 3:39Speaker 8: had set for. So to justify it, here comes this great,
- 3:42Speaker 8: seemingly very clever saying, and a lot of us a depth. Well,
- 3:47Speaker 8: my ship has passed, so we adopt that. Here's another one. Well,
- 3:51Speaker 8: I guess it just wasn't meant to be. That sounds good,
- 3:55Speaker 8: don't it, because they mix it up with a little
- 3:58Speaker 8: bit of faith in it. I guessed it was. Well,
- 4:02Speaker 8: here's another one. I guess if God wanted it for me,
- 4:05Speaker 8: i'd have it.
- 4:07Speaker 7: Are you serious?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Man?
- 4:10Speaker 8: Are you serious? You're actually gonna use that one to
- 4:17Speaker 8: justify where.
- 4:18Speaker 7: You are in life?
- 4:19Speaker 5: Man?
- 4:20Speaker 8: That that's so, that's so not the case. I want
- 4:23Speaker 8: to remind everybody today that it's still your time. That
- 4:30Speaker 8: you know, your ship hasn't sailed you didn't miss all
- 4:34Speaker 8: of your opportunities. There's others. It's still your time. You know,
- 4:40Speaker 8: you still got a chance. You still have a shot.
- 4:47Speaker 8: Here's a good one. You still have hope, you do
- 4:53Speaker 8: all of you. As long as God is who he is,
- 5:00Speaker 8: there's always hope for you. You can never lose sight
- 5:04Speaker 8: of that. You can never let the devil win that
- 5:06Speaker 8: battle that there is no hope for you and cause
- 5:11Speaker 8: you to do something that's unthinkable. I'm just gonna cash
- 5:16Speaker 8: in the chips. I'm gonna take my life. I'm gonna
- 5:19Speaker 8: commit suicide. No no, no, wait a second, Wait a second,
- 5:23Speaker 8: are you for real? That's not God talking to you.
- 5:27Speaker 8: That's something wrong and it's not coming from him. It's
- 5:33Speaker 8: still your time. You still got a chance. There's always hope.
- 5:37Speaker 7: But listen to me.
- 5:39Speaker 8: You got to move and you got to move on it.
- 5:44Speaker 8: So many people are not getting the full benefit of
- 5:48Speaker 8: their life, and so many people are not getting all
- 5:50Speaker 8: the blessings that God has for because you keep waiting
- 5:54Speaker 8: on the perfect time.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Man.
- 5:56Speaker 8: How many times have I heard people come to me
- 5:58Speaker 8: and say, hey, man, I'm just waiting on everything to
- 6:01Speaker 8: line up right. Man, I'm waiting on the perfect time
- 6:04Speaker 8: to get Hey, can I tell you something. If I
- 6:08Speaker 8: were waiting on the perfect time, I wouldn't be hardly
- 6:13Speaker 8: any of the things that I've become. And one of
- 6:17Speaker 8: my greatest blessings was marrying Marjorie. I wouldn't even have
- 6:24Speaker 8: married Marjorie if I was waiting on the perfect time,
- 6:28Speaker 8: because I had gone through what I thought was enough
- 6:32Speaker 8: misery to cover my entire lifetime. And so when I
- 6:38Speaker 8: was first divorced, I just said, man, it's gonna be
- 6:42Speaker 8: five six years before I do this again.
- 6:46Speaker 7: I said it.
- 6:49Speaker 8: Two years later I was married. But guess what, man,
- 6:54Speaker 8: it wasn't the perfect time. I didn't have my ducks,
- 6:58Speaker 8: all my ducks lined up in a row. It was
- 7:00Speaker 8: still some things I needed to clean up. I even
- 7:04Speaker 8: told her, it's some things I want to clean up
- 7:06Speaker 8: out of my life before you know it's it's I
- 7:10Speaker 8: want I want to make sure I got all the
- 7:12Speaker 8: stars a line up. You know I want to I
- 7:14Speaker 8: want to waiting till all the ducks are in a row.
- 7:16Speaker 8: I was waiting on the perfect time. If I had
- 7:20Speaker 8: not stopped, and Marjorie and I had set out and
- 7:24Speaker 8: said to each other, there'll be no perfect time, and
- 7:29Speaker 8: then she said, I'll go through with you whatever you're
- 7:32Speaker 8: going through.
- 7:34Speaker 4: That was it.
- 7:36Speaker 8: I took a chance. The ducks were not lined up
- 7:41Speaker 8: in a row. Had a lot of baggage in my life, man,
- 7:45Speaker 8: I wanted to try to clear up. I wanted to
- 7:47Speaker 8: do some things financially different. I wanted to just get
- 7:50Speaker 8: rid of some residue I had in my life. She said, no,
- 7:55Speaker 8: we'll do it together, because ain't no perfect time. And
- 7:58Speaker 8: guess what it wasn't. So if you're out there waiting
- 8:02Speaker 8: on the perfect time to do something, it may not come.
- 8:06Speaker 8: There is no such thing as waiting on the perfect time.
- 8:10Speaker 8: I've said this one hundred times, and here comes one
- 8:12Speaker 8: oh one. The road to success is always under construction.
- 8:16Speaker 8: You ain't finna go out there and there ain't no
- 8:18Speaker 8: barrels on the road. You're not going out there and
- 8:20Speaker 8: not running to detourl signs. You're not going out there
- 8:23Speaker 8: without seeing the men working sign to get off. You're
- 8:27Speaker 8: not going out there to see it. So guess what,
- 8:30Speaker 8: stop waiting on the stars are going Man, this is
- 8:32Speaker 8: the perfect time to do it now. If you're waiting
- 8:36Speaker 8: on the perfect time, that could be one of your
- 8:39Speaker 8: biggest problems.
- 8:39Speaker 7: You're still waiting.
- 8:40Speaker 8: You have got to move and you've got to move
- 8:43Speaker 8: on it, and you've got to make a decision to
- 8:45Speaker 8: go now. God will get you through everything necessary for
- 8:50Speaker 8: you to get through. But you can't quit though. See
- 8:54Speaker 8: there's a part. You can't quit just because the road
- 8:57Speaker 8: you're on is under construction. You can't get off at
- 9:00Speaker 8: the exit because you're tired of all the bump of
- 9:02Speaker 8: the bumper traffic.
- 9:04Speaker 7: It's that way. Get you some God, like I said,
- 9:08Speaker 7: get you some God, and go on and go see
- 9:11Speaker 7: what your life.
- 9:11Speaker 9: Can be like.
- 9:13Speaker 8: So stop waiting on the perfect time, stop waiting on
- 9:15Speaker 8: the stars to align themselves. You got to move and
- 9:19Speaker 8: you got to move on it. Get you some God,
- 9:22Speaker 8: apply some faith, and get started. And remember when you
- 9:25Speaker 8: get out there, coming towards your goal, the road to construct,
- 9:29Speaker 8: the road to success is always under construction. If it
- 9:32Speaker 8: was easy, everybody would be it. Stop expecting it to
- 9:35Speaker 8: be easy. Come on out here, get up in this thing.
- 9:38Speaker 8: It's funky out here. Yeah I got all that. It's
- 9:40Speaker 8: hard out here, yeah I got all that. But what
- 9:43Speaker 8: you want to do, man, huh, what you wanna do?
- 9:46Speaker 8: You're gonna push your chips up to the window. It
- 9:49Speaker 8: ain't time for that. You still got time, You still
- 9:51Speaker 8: got a chance. There's always hope, there's always God. That's
- 9:55Speaker 8: my conversation today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 10: Morning show, Rise.
- 10:02Speaker 9: And shine, give yourself that stretch that morning you own
- 10:05Speaker 9: and sit on the edge of the bed, thank the man,
- 10:07Speaker 9: and then you got to get up and get out
- 10:09Speaker 9: and get something. It is a sea poppy morning show,
- 10:11Speaker 9: it said, nephew, holding it down. And if you tell
- 10:13Speaker 9: me along with the crew, you cannot do it without
- 10:16Speaker 9: the crew. That's Shirley Strawpberry Call of Faroh, Mississippi, Monica
- 10:20Speaker 9: and the One and Only Kill Junior Boy at Space. Yes, yes,
- 10:25Speaker 9: we are in the building. And the rich one, the
- 10:29Speaker 9: rich one is not here today. The uh yeah, the
- 10:33Speaker 9: rich one has got he got a house, I mean
- 10:36Speaker 9: how many houses he got. He got two houses in Atlanta.
- 10:40Speaker 9: He got a ranch in You got a ranch in Atlanta.
- 10:44Speaker 9: He got a ranch in Dallas.
- 10:47Speaker 7: He got uh huh.
- 10:52Speaker 11: In Dallas.
- 10:52Speaker 7: Anymore.
- 10:53Speaker 9: He still has that. He still owns that. No, no, no, no,
- 10:56Speaker 9: he may not be doing the boys thing then, but
- 10:58Speaker 9: he still owns that. But you're not going to do
- 11:02Speaker 9: a city And tell me what I don't know.
- 11:04Speaker 7: I know what he got.
- 11:05Speaker 9: He got that and he owned that. Okay, he owns that,
- 11:08Speaker 9: and he also owns right now. Yeah, okay, you got
- 11:12Speaker 9: a house and do bay? Okay, you got that.
- 11:16Speaker 7: Rich rich?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Oh it's that other rich.
- 11:21Speaker 7: And then you got the audacity to be not here
- 11:24Speaker 7: on a Monday.
- 11:25Speaker 4: What?
- 11:26Speaker 1: Okay, you're going there though, when you're never here on
- 11:30Speaker 1: a monday?
- 11:31Speaker 5: What?
- 11:32Speaker 7: And I worked this weekend and I'm here on a monday.
- 11:36Speaker 12: I did a Yeah I'm here.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Okay. Well see, well, well well, junior, we're both here,
- 11:42Speaker 7: thank you, we're both you should be all right.
- 11:45Speaker 9: And the rich one, the rich one, is not here,
- 11:48Speaker 9: And I'm not gonna sit up here and act like
- 11:50Speaker 9: we're gonna show him some sympathy because we're not of
- 11:52Speaker 9: FINSI to do it.
- 11:53Speaker 12: We may ask you this.
- 11:55Speaker 5: So when you said how many houses he had, what
- 11:57Speaker 5: does that have to do with coming to work? So
- 11:59Speaker 5: if you have a certain amount of houses, you don't
- 12:01Speaker 5: have to come to work on Monday, because.
- 12:03Speaker 11: It's that's the case, right.
- 12:08Speaker 1: House. You're about to be a real estate mogul.
- 12:12Speaker 9: Yes, yes, yeah, he got doors calling he has. My
- 12:21Speaker 9: uncle got doors loving to death. But I'm just saying
- 12:24Speaker 9: he's not here.
- 12:25Speaker 7: I went.
- 12:25Speaker 9: I worked in Chicago. I did the Sweetest Day Comedy,

- 12:35Speaker 9: Melanie Camacho, myself, Kevin Tate, Benji Brown, that dog Gone,
- 12:41Speaker 9: Tony Robberts. Boy, listen, when you want to talk about
- 12:47Speaker 9: stupid on another level, I have not reached it yet
- 12:50Speaker 9: when we started talking about Tony.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Start talking.
- 12:55Speaker 9: When you start talking about Tony Robbins, I have not
- 12:57Speaker 9: reached that stupid level yet.
- 12:59Speaker 7: But I'm closed. I'm close, but I'm not there yet. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 7: he's a beast. Ain't nothing wrong with that?
- 13:04Speaker 9: Boy? He is.
- 13:05Speaker 11: So you want to thank Chicago. They showed up and
- 13:08Speaker 11: show it out.
- 13:09Speaker 9: Tommy showed up, showed out, Sweetish Day comedy. Jaman was beautiful.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Man.
- 13:13Speaker 7: H Chicago is different, man. I did not know that.
- 13:16Speaker 7: The people and the food is just impeccable. Him.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Yeah, hello, we were born there.
- 13:25Speaker 9: Okay, okay, okay, but Shirley White. I think Shirley was
- 13:28Speaker 9: born in Arkansas today the baby born and raised. Sorry,
- 13:37Speaker 9: thank you, nephew.
- 13:38Speaker 13: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:40Speaker 13: hear again from a nephew as he runs that prank
- 13:43Speaker 13: back right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 10: You're listening Hard Morning Show.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:50Speaker 1: prank back? What you got for his neph fairly?
- 13:53Speaker 7: I got it?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Go big or go home? Sounds normal?
- 13:57Speaker 9: Okay?
- 13:58Speaker 4: Hello, Hello, I'll try to reach Darnell. Darnell, see Darnelle.
- 14:02Speaker 4: How you doing? This? Is Scott saying, with bigger, bigger
- 14:06Speaker 4: and better? Uh, where we make you larger in charge?
- 14:08Speaker 4: How you doing today? Scott? Who I mean the Scott?
- 14:12Speaker 4: And I'm with bigger and better, where we make you
- 14:15Speaker 4: larger in charge?
- 14:16Speaker 14: I'm good, Scott?
- 14:17Speaker 4: What's up? We were actually given a phone call by
- 14:21Speaker 4: your wife, your wife is is that correct? Yeah? Okay,
- 14:25Speaker 4: well you know your wife's your wife's birthday is coming
- 14:29Speaker 4: up pretty soon, is that right? Yeah, it's a couple
- 14:31Speaker 4: of weeks.
- 14:32Speaker 14: Yeah, it's coming up.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Okay, have you have you decided on getting or anything?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Or no?
- 14:37Speaker 14: A lot a couple of days in mind?
- 14:40Speaker 4: Well, actually, uh, we got a call from uh from
- 14:44Speaker 4: I think we've got something that's gonna that's gonna really
- 14:48Speaker 4: help you guys. And and something I think that she
- 14:51Speaker 4: wanted to recommend that something that you probably wouldn't wouldn't
- 14:54Speaker 4: think about getting.
- 14:56Speaker 14: I'm ald is okay wrecking my brain.
- 14:59Speaker 4: So i'm all actually gave us a call. She's actually
- 15:03Speaker 4: had an idea, you know, what she would really really
- 15:05Speaker 4: like for her birthday present? So what's the Bigger and Better?
- 15:11Speaker 4: Like I said, I follow she calls you.
- 15:13Speaker 14: I'm sorry, she called you to get me idea on
- 15:17Speaker 14: what I should get her.
- 15:18Speaker 4: For her birthday. Yeah, well this is this is something
- 15:21Speaker 4: that's a little a little different. It's something that you
- 15:24Speaker 4: probably would never in a million years think of. But
- 15:26Speaker 4: here at Bigger and Better, where we make you large
- 15:29Speaker 4: and in charge, we actually do some things that we
- 15:32Speaker 4: definitely know you wouldn't have thought of. So I definitely
- 15:36Speaker 4: understand her giving up call.
- 15:37Speaker 14: What's what's your name again? Sam Scott? Scott Scott get
- 15:42Speaker 14: to the point.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Actually let us know that there are some things that
- 15:47Speaker 4: are really really lacking between you guys, and she would
- 15:52Speaker 4: very much like for her birthday where you can do
- 15:54Speaker 4: a lot more well endowed. So you know that's what
- 15:58Speaker 4: we do here at Bigger and Better. Actually, hello, what
- 16:02Speaker 4: I could be? Well what more? Well on doubt sure?
- 16:05Speaker 4: So I think really what's going on is Beyonca is
- 16:07Speaker 4: really not satisfied right now.
- 16:09Speaker 14: Call you to tell you that I'm not what do
- 16:12Speaker 14: you mean willing doubt my junk?
- 16:14Speaker 4: So you're you're you're you're you're you're inadequate. You know
- 16:17Speaker 4: what I mean? You're you're. Uh. I guess maybe may
- 16:20Speaker 4: be very impotent. I'm not sure, but you kidding me?
- 16:24Speaker 7: What what's the name of this company?
- 16:27Speaker 4: Bigger and Better where we make you larger, in charge?
- 16:30Speaker 4: And right now you know you're not You're not large
- 16:33Speaker 4: and in charge, and we want to get you to
- 16:34Speaker 4: we're able to come in for a consultation, your consultation.
- 16:37Speaker 14: I'm gonna call her right now because right now, okay,
- 16:40Speaker 14: I'm gonna call her.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Well we're trying to do because do you not do
- 16:46Speaker 4: you not think you need to come in?
- 16:47Speaker 14: I don't even think I don't even need to be
- 16:49Speaker 14: talking to you about whatever is going on in my
- 16:52Speaker 14: bid I'm keen, so I'm not even I'm not even
- 16:55Speaker 14: I don't even know.
- 16:56Speaker 4: What's going on. Whatever? Can I say this?
- 16:58Speaker 14: Whatever services for me that's gonna increase me?
- 17:01Speaker 4: In the bedrooms is the first sign of denial, Right.
- 17:04Speaker 14: I don't have no I don't have no problems in
- 17:06Speaker 14: the bedroom Okay, well, you know, I don't even why

- 29:38Speaker 13: He did it so he would be Brian McKnight senior
- 29:41Speaker 13: to his newborn son, although he already was senior to

- 30:05Speaker 13: have legally changed my name to exactly match my legacies.
- 30:10Speaker 13: McKnight's post enraged his fans, who called him evil for
- 30:14Speaker 13: disassociating himself from his four oldest children, Brian Junior, Nico, Brianna,
- 30:18Speaker 13: and Clyde. One fan tweeted, I've never seen anyone proudly
- 30:23Speaker 13: demonstrate how much they hate their children, and another said,
- 30:27Speaker 13: changing his name to match the new baby when he's
- 30:29Speaker 13: already got a junior is next level cruel. He's trash
- 30:33Speaker 13: and not only doing it, or he's trash or not
- 30:36Speaker 13: only doing it but also putting it on display to
- 30:38Speaker 13: the world.

- 31:14Speaker 9: no going in the house. Everybody going in the house,
- 31:16Speaker 9: come out there crazy. All I'm saying is this is

- 32:18Speaker 5: that he's prioritizing his new children.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Over his children, his older children.
- 32:26Speaker 5: And it's like you're making a difference here with your children,
- 32:29Speaker 5: and it just is it not cool? Like why are
- 32:33Speaker 5: you doing this? Why do it is cruel to Brian juniors?
- 32:37Speaker 5: Like I don't get it, Brian and nineteen so you
- 32:39Speaker 5: want I would never children.

- 48:38Speaker 9: the smaller television.
- 48:39Speaker 15: No, I wouldn't push to do nothing.
- 48:40Speaker 4: Man.
- 48:40Speaker 15: What I'm trying to tell you is, I mean we compromised.
- 48:43Speaker 15: We do fifty fifty in my house. I mean she
- 48:45Speaker 15: might get the big TV to watch her stories or something,
- 48:47Speaker 15: and I just had to go watch the little TV.
- 48:49Speaker 15: A little TV, dude, go out of every once and
- 48:51Speaker 15: see there we go. So cool with that, though, I'm
- 48:54Speaker 15: cool with that.
- 48:55Speaker 7: You're that. So you're cool with that. You're actually the
- 48:57Speaker 7: one that's programmed.
- 48:59Speaker 15: And ain't nothing wrong with my wife. Ain't nothing wrong
- 49:01Speaker 15: with within my family? You know what I mean?
- 49:03Speaker 7: I understand.
- 49:04Speaker 9: Well, let me the reason why I'm asking you these
- 49:06Speaker 9: particular questions is because someone has actually let me know

- 49:12Speaker 7: Let me ask you.
- 49:13Speaker 9: I got one question for you. Here's what I want

- 49:17Speaker 9: at a family cookout? Hey?
- 49:19Speaker 15: Man, hold on, man, you know what you're getting a
- 49:21Speaker 15: little personal man.
- 49:23Speaker 7: Man, I'm here, I'm here.
- 49:27Speaker 15: I never heard of this company. Man, I've never heard
- 49:31Speaker 15: of you.
- 49:31Speaker 7: This is something new.
- 49:32Speaker 4: Is definitely saying something new.
- 49:34Speaker 15: I mean, don't make me be your guinea pig. Don't
- 49:36Speaker 15: don't start. I'll calling me trying to get you know, referrals,
- 49:40Speaker 15: a clientele or whatever.
- 49:41Speaker 4: It is you're trying to do.
- 49:42Speaker 15: Man, don't call me with his nonsense partner.
- 49:45Speaker 7: And I completely understand that w C S Sir is

- 50:17Speaker 15: me or got me under control? Got me on lock man?
- 50:20Speaker 15: You telling him too? Don't call me no more?
- 50:22Speaker 4: What are you are? You?
- 50:24Speaker 7: Are you in denying?

- 54:08Speaker 7: We got it for you here. It is raw Mary
- 54:11Speaker 7: letta thank.
- 54:12Speaker 13: You nephew subject he's working off the money he owes
- 54:16Speaker 13: me here. Stephen Shirley, I'm forty eight years old and
- 54:20Speaker 13: I've been taking care of my twenty six year old
- 54:23Speaker 13: daughter and her husband for three years. I'm a registered
- 54:26Speaker 13: nurse and I got my son in law job and
- 54:28Speaker 13: laundry at the hospital I work in. He's got a
- 54:31Speaker 13: college degree, but he refuses to apply himself and get
- 54:34Speaker 13: a job because he doesn't like the starting salary. He
- 54:37Speaker 13: thinks he's supposed to be balling out the gate with
- 54:40Speaker 13: his little degree. My daughter, on the other hand, is
- 54:43Speaker 13: in dental school and she will graduate next to May.
- 54:46Speaker 13: That's the only reason that I chip in to make
- 54:49Speaker 13: sure they have a roof over their heads. My son
- 54:52Speaker 13: in law is a little handsome guy, and he knows it.
- 54:55Speaker 13: He's charmed all of the ladies at the hospital, so
- 54:58Speaker 13: they do most of his work for him. I collect
- 55:01Speaker 13: his check at the end of every week because I
- 55:03Speaker 13: should not have to take care of them. My daughter
- 55:06Speaker 13: has a problem with how I handle things, but she
- 55:08Speaker 13: can either accept my help or divorce this dead beat.
- 55:11Speaker 13: The other day, my son in law had been drinking
- 55:14Speaker 13: and he called me and said he didn't like his
- 55:16Speaker 13: job and he wanted to quit. I told him that
- 55:19Speaker 13: would be fine, but he'd have to come up with
- 55:21Speaker 13: the way to cover their monthly mortgage. He got very
- 55:24Speaker 13: upset and hung up. My daughter called me later and
- 55:26Speaker 13: said that I was being very controlling and that I
- 55:29Speaker 13: was using her husband to pay back the money they
- 55:32Speaker 13: owe me as a couple. She said, I owe her
- 55:36Speaker 13: husband a lot of money because I've been taking most
- 55:39Speaker 13: of his paychecks. I don't see how my educated daughter
- 55:41Speaker 13: doesn't understand what's going on here. She's with a deadbeat
- 55:45Speaker 13: that owes me money, and she's defending him.
- 55:47Speaker 1: What do I do next?
- 55:49Speaker 13: Cut them off and let them figure it out. Please
- 55:51Speaker 13: advise you definitely need to give them a deadline to
- 55:56Speaker 13: make some kind of changes or get out. I mean
- 55:58Speaker 13: it's called tough love. They have a way of making
- 56:01Speaker 13: you feel guilty about making them grow up and being responsible.
- 56:07Speaker 13: I'm sure if he wasn't married to your daughter, you
- 56:09Speaker 13: would have handled this a different way.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 56:11Speaker 13: I can't believe how entitled and unappreciative they are. Your house,
- 56:16Speaker 13: your rules. I mean as simple as that, you're not
- 56:20Speaker 13: obligated to do anything. But like you say, you're providing
- 56:23Speaker 13: them with a roof over their heads because your daughter
- 56:25Speaker 13: is finishing up dental school. You got her husband the
- 56:29Speaker 13: job he has now, and he hasn't bothered to even
- 56:32Speaker 13: look for another job. But it's talking about quitting the
- 56:34Speaker 13: one he has that makes no sense, and he's proving
- 56:37Speaker 13: that he can't take care of your daughter or himself.
- 56:40Speaker 13: Let them know that you are giving them until May
- 56:44Speaker 13: when your daughter graduates, to move out or get themselves together.
- 56:48Speaker 13: Unless they're ungrateful attitudes require them to be asked out sooner.
- 56:54Speaker 13: I think you need to have a family meeting and
- 56:56Speaker 13: remind them how just how good they do have it.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Tommy, But.
- 57:04Speaker 9: How much did he owe you? I mean, this is
- 57:08Speaker 9: every check going to you. I mean, we we can't
- 57:11Speaker 9: seem to catch up. Well, so how much does he
- 57:14Speaker 9: owe you? And what how did he get in this
- 57:17Speaker 9: rut that he owes you this much money?
- 57:20Speaker 7: And I got it?
- 57:21Speaker 9: Okay, he got a degree. His wife, your your your
- 57:25Speaker 9: daughter has uh is in dental school. So he's about
- 57:28Speaker 9: to come up in a minute. But so he can
- 57:30Speaker 9: he can.
- 57:30Speaker 7: Always get his te figs. We know that, Poe. But
- 57:32Speaker 7: what I'm trying to figure out? What do he owe you? Though?
- 57:34Speaker 4: What?
- 57:35Speaker 14: What?
- 57:35Speaker 7: How much do he owe you? And he lived they
- 57:37Speaker 7: live at your house.
- 57:38Speaker 9: But he's sexy and he work at the hospital with
- 57:41Speaker 9: you because you are our n you a registered nurse.
- 57:43Speaker 9: He works there and you know what, everybody like him.
- 57:47Speaker 9: He's sexy. And you know what, you think he's sexy too.
- 57:51Speaker 9: You like him, you like.
- 57:55Speaker 7: I know, I know for sure.
- 57:56Speaker 9: Sure that ain't non stop nothing before it's been going on.
- 58:00Speaker 9: We we know what she won't shure, especially okay, especially
- 58:05Speaker 9: the strawberry. She want him, She want him. You want
- 58:08Speaker 9: you want what your daughter got and you can't have it.
- 58:12Speaker 9: But since you can't have it, guess what you know
- 58:14Speaker 9: what you're doing? He you gonna have to pay me.
- 58:16Speaker 9: I want all my money as soon as he.
- 58:18Speaker 7: Get his check.
- 58:18Speaker 9: Now, why what job is it that gives somebody else's
- 58:23Speaker 9: check to somebody who'll do that? Why can't have my
- 58:27Speaker 9: own check? Why why my check ain't automatic? All these
- 58:30Speaker 9: checks is automatic, now, ain't it. I'm just saying. I'm
- 58:33Speaker 9: just saying, So, who is this lady that that that's
- 58:36Speaker 9: in position that she could just go grab somebody check
- 58:39Speaker 9: when it's at the end of the week or the
- 58:41Speaker 9: end of the two weeks and you can just take
- 58:43Speaker 9: that money.
- 58:43Speaker 7: But I don't.
- 58:44Speaker 1: I don't get this part in her house?
- 58:46Speaker 3: Wow?
- 58:47Speaker 7: Wow, But do I make sense?
- 58:50Speaker 4: Do calling?
- 58:50Speaker 7: How do you just get somebody to check like this?
- 58:53Speaker 7: You got somebody money.
- 58:54Speaker 1: When you're living at their house house?
- 58:56Speaker 5: I guess, so.
- 58:59Speaker 7: Pick them.
- 59:00Speaker 9: I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say it as plain as
- 59:03Speaker 9: I can say them white folks don't know that.
- 59:08Speaker 7: They don't know he live over there with them.
- 59:10Speaker 4: This is his check.
- 59:12Speaker 9: Now, I understand that as a man, you're supposed to
- 59:15Speaker 9: pay for where you stay. You're supposed to pay for
- 59:17Speaker 9: your family. So if that's your wife, you pay, But
- 59:19Speaker 9: you're taking his money immediately. So how much money does
- 59:23Speaker 9: he owe you and when does.
- 59:24Speaker 7: He not owe you anymore. I'm just I'm just looking
- 59:27Speaker 7: at it.
- 59:27Speaker 13: Put that in the letter. They've been there three years.
- 59:30Speaker 13: Don't forget that she's been taking care of him for
- 59:32Speaker 13: three years.
- 59:32Speaker 9: Oh you know how many checks that He's never gonna
- 59:35Speaker 9: get out. He's never gonna win, He's never gonna get out.
- 59:39Speaker 9: He needs to get out. He needs to start selling
- 59:44Speaker 9: his sex inesst second with these girls at the job.
- 59:49Speaker 7: And that's how you make some extra money.
- 59:51Speaker 9: I'm just saying, if you start selling your sexy on
- 59:53Speaker 9: the side, like all up in the in the hospital
- 59:57Speaker 9: and at the hospital, there's a lot of rooms, a
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: lot of room. There's a lot of it's a lot
- 1:00:01Speaker 9: of rooms with the people ain't doing nothing. Go in there,
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: unload your sexy. Charge five hundred for your sexy bitchets
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: of paper?
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: What what?
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: How much?
- 1:00:15Speaker 9: I'll thanks sect the male prostitute. Now what a male prostitute?
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: Orderly they work at.
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: All?
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Right, listen, we'll have more.
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: On this Strawberry letter at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:33Speaker 13: Today's Strawberry Letter subject he's working off the money he
- 1:00:36Speaker 13: owes me.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:39Speaker 10: You're listening hardy morning, show.
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: Here we go.
- 1:00:43Speaker 13: We're going to recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is
- 1:00:45Speaker 13: he's working off the money he owes me. Forty eight
- 1:00:48Speaker 13: year old woman wrote in she's been taking care of
- 1:00:51Speaker 13: her twenty six year old daughter and her husband for
- 1:00:53Speaker 13: three years.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: She's a registered nurse.
- 1:00:56Speaker 13: She got her son in law job and the laundry
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: room at the high hospital where she works. He's got
- 1:01:01Speaker 13: a college degree, but she says he doesn't want to
- 1:01:04Speaker 13: apply himself and get a job because he doesn't like
- 1:01:08Speaker 13: the starting salary of any.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Of these jobs. He thinks he's just supposed.
- 1:01:11Speaker 13: To be balling out the gate with his degree. Her daughter,
- 1:01:15Speaker 13: on the other hand, is in dental school. She'll finish
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: up in May. They're upset because the mom takes the money.
- 1:01:21Speaker 13: She takes the son in law's check every week. They
- 1:01:24Speaker 13: paid the mortgage. I'm assuming she takes care of them,
- 1:01:28Speaker 13: and he'd been drinking. One time he called the mom
- 1:01:30Speaker 13: and said he didn't like his job and he wanted
- 1:01:32Speaker 13: to quit, and she said.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: That would be fine, that would be fine.
- 1:01:40Speaker 13: The daughter is mad because she says the mother is
- 1:01:43Speaker 13: using her husband to pay back the money they owe
- 1:01:45Speaker 13: as a couple and it's kind of a big mess
- 1:01:48Speaker 13: because she said that her husband owes her a lot
- 1:01:52Speaker 13: of money, that's why she's been taking most of his paychecks.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: And she thinks that her son is a deadbeat.
- 1:01:59Speaker 13: Her son in law is a deadbeat, and she doesn't
- 1:02:01Speaker 13: understand why her daughter doesn't see this. So she's asking
- 1:02:05Speaker 13: should she cut them out or let them figure it
- 1:02:07Speaker 13: out themselves?
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: And that's where we are, Junior.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, cut them off, put them on, because you're
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: in enabling this behavior three years.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: You take the chase for three years, and.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: You can't understand why he don't want to do nothing
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: with his degree because you keep paying it.
- 1:02:24Speaker 12: Here, Come on, okay, what's.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Going on down in this laundry room?
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: That's time they're foling sheets in that job.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: What's the excuses if we use it every time he
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: get paid and he got an age?
- 1:02:37Speaker 12: Listen, you know I'm telling you now.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Listen to the month.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: It's colored clothes and these white clothes and his hospital
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: and the scrubs. You know, we have a whole lot
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: of problems down here. You know I'm talking about he
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: told me I messed up because I didn't use the
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: time I used down here.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: That's what I did.
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: I messed up.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I have some problems that stress.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Yeah, job is kidding me. I'm telling you, I got
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: to have him every single day. You know, the fabric softeners, lot,
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: just faverage something that down here, Mama, you'n't stand with him.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: I'm going through a lot down here, and I just
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: need help you.
- 1:03:10Speaker 12: Matter of fact. You know, while I'm on the phone
- 1:03:12Speaker 12: with you, do you know when they use cold water?
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Because they ain't told me nothing down here.
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: They just hide me.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: And I'm just down here and I'm gonna telling another
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: thing when when that dry on is hot in here.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: It's a lot, it's a lot of problems. So I
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: just I'm just gonna have to just give you a
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: little bit of my check. Now I'm gonna take it off.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: But I'm just telling you.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Just keeping his mortgage for us.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: This sounds crazy, It's absolutely crazy. There's no way in
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: the world. This man don't know what he's doing. So
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: if you keep paying for it, he's gonna keep doing it.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: And guess what your daughter is taking.
- 1:03:45Speaker 10: Up for him.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a problem. She tell you how you gonna
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: do him like that? And here in the background, baby,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: do you use tie the game. Do he practices at
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: home trying to get it right at work?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Laundry doing the laundry at home?
- 1:04:07Speaker 12: Yeah, Hey, do we use family talking on these times?
- 1:04:11Speaker 12: What about these times? I'm down here? Was he got
- 1:04:14Speaker 12: way too many problems and he won't use his degree?
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: He lays.
- 1:04:18Speaker 13: That's what her mom is saying. He's a deadbeat. That's
- 1:04:22Speaker 13: what she's saying. Absolutely, if he's.
- 1:04:24Speaker 12: A deadbeat, why is the question do we cut him off?
- 1:04:26Speaker 12: The question? Yes, you cut him off?
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, absolutely needs somewhere. I agree, I agree, I agree.
- 1:04:33Speaker 12: So so so we were gonna do we using may
- 1:04:36Speaker 12: tag of Whirlpool, which was man, you know.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: You got you straight with that game though that game.
- 1:04:51Speaker 12: Powder or liquid.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: Liquid game boy.

- 1:09:40Speaker 13: You're listening Hard Morning Show. All right, This is from
- 1:09:46Speaker 13: Howard in Monroe. Howard says, I had a big Sunday
- 1:09:49Speaker 13: dinner last week for my children. My oldest son is
- 1:09:52Speaker 13: fifty two and he has a new baby by his side, chick.
- 1:09:56Speaker 13: He brought the baby to the dinner. He and his
- 1:09:58Speaker 13: wife are separated because he it on her, but she
- 1:10:01Speaker 13: is still family, so I invited her to dinner. My
- 1:10:05Speaker 13: son decided to hurt her even more by showing up
- 1:10:07Speaker 13: with his six month old baby. His wife said either
- 1:10:11Speaker 13: she was leaving or my son had to lead, And
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: I told my son to get out because he was
- 1:10:16Speaker 13: dead wrong for flowning his baby in front of his wife,
- 1:10:19Speaker 13: who's already heartbroken. My son isn't talking to me, he said,
- 1:10:23Speaker 13: I'm low down. Was I wrong for asking him to leave?
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: Yeah, you're kind of in the business, though you're doing
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: a lot. Daddy. I don't like Daddy.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: So reason you don't like Howard.
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: I don't like Howard. I don't. I don't.
- 1:10:39Speaker 11: I don't like kind is fifty two?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: How I mean exactly, it's gotta be in his seventy.
- 1:10:46Speaker 9: How long are we going to be in somebody business

- 1:10:52Speaker 7: I don't.
- 1:10:53Speaker 9: I mean, your son fifty two, and you're worried about
- 1:10:56Speaker 9: what's going on in his life. You need to be
- 1:10:58Speaker 9: like counting your medicine on your night. You got the
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: stuff to do, you know it.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Really just likes everybody. He just likes them all. He
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: doesn't like the way they treated the daughter and had
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: the outside child.
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: And all that.
- 1:11:11Speaker 13: He's not with all of that, and he still yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:14Speaker 13: he's still likes the wives to be together.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what it is.
- 1:11:19Speaker 9: Yeah, but all families got somebody that ain't supposed to
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: be in there all everybody else.
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: Yeah, it is what it is.
- 1:11:27Speaker 12: Yeah, I think Howard just met the baby for the
- 1:11:29Speaker 12: first time. He did, he had never seen that baby before.
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: So they caught him off.

- 1:12:00Speaker 13: He didn't like the fact that his son was flawning
- 1:12:02Speaker 13: the baby, you know, because he already hurt the woman
- 1:12:06Speaker 13: by having the baby, and he didn't like that.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: So that's why what just.
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: Got to do with daddy. Though daddy got other.
- 1:12:12Speaker 13: Stuff happening, But it's daddy's house and he invited them,
- 1:12:16Speaker 13: and he didn't like the fact that his son hurt
