Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / PART 2: Media attacks TRUCKERS by saying the word "FREEDOM" (convoy) is "common among far-right groups!"
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Truckers have become public enemy number one, and anyone that
- 0:03Speaker 1: supports them, you are also the equivalent of a domestic terrorists.
- 0:08Speaker 1: This is a major roadway has opened up because the
- 0:11Speaker 1: truckers did not become violent. You would think that would
- 0:15Speaker 1: be actually, I don't know, celebrated or appreciated, but what
- 0:20Speaker 1: we do know is truckers around the world are fighting
- 0:22Speaker 1: back peacefully. Now a quick reminder, if you're listening to
- 0:26Speaker 1: this podcast, please make sure you hit the subscribe or
- 0:29Speaker 1: auto download button and tell your friends about this podcast,
- 0:33Speaker 1: Share this on social media, and if you would, run
- 0:35Speaker 1: us a five star review to help us as Democrats
- 0:38Speaker 1: have been attacking our podcasts recently with bad reviews. Now,
- 0:41Speaker 1: New Zealand is now going after their truckers and they're
- 0:44Speaker 1: now blaming a quote mysterious imported force for the freedom
- 0:49Speaker 1: convoys that New Zealand's Prime Minister is now having to
- 0:52Speaker 1: deal with. Who is that mysterious imported force. It's not
- 0:56Speaker 1: Russia collusion, it's Donald Trump collusion. That's right, The Prime
- 1:02Speaker 1: minister pointed at Canadian flags. She's also blaming Canada and
- 1:06Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Images on the streets of Wellington is evidence
- 1:09Speaker 1: of her new conspiracy claim that this isn't really our
- 1:13Speaker 1: people sitting up against me, the Prime Minister of New Zealand. No, no, no,
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'm blaming the imported forces of the world for what
- 1:20Speaker 1: has just happened. Quote. I've seen Trump flags on the
- 1:24Speaker 1: fore court. I've seen Canadian flags on the fore court.
- 1:27Speaker 1: That is who is to blame for this. It feels
- 1:31Speaker 1: like an imported protest to me. So all the people
- 1:34Speaker 1: out there that are actually citizens of New Zealand, I
- 1:38Speaker 1: don't see you. All I see is imported people. That's right.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Former President Donald Trump is the real problem here in
- 1:46Speaker 1: Canada for importing this. Quote. That means at the very
- 1:50Speaker 1: point where we are seeing an increase in cases and
- 1:52Speaker 1: an increase in risk. She went on to say to
- 1:54Speaker 1: the public health with COVID cases she's now claiming are
- 1:58Speaker 1: on the rise, the well being of Zealand and the
- 2:01Speaker 1: people should be angry. These people, referring to the truckers,
- 2:05Speaker 1: which are Trump loving Canadians apparently imported from around the world. Well,
- 2:10Speaker 1: they want to remove the very measures that have kept
- 2:12Speaker 1: us safe. Have they really kept us safe? Because the
- 2:15Speaker 1: dad is showing not so much. Lockdowns haven't kept us safe?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Mass mandates have not kept us safe. Vaccines, you could argue,
- 2:23Speaker 1: have not kept us safe compared to what they said
- 2:26Speaker 1: they were going to do. I'm not saying that I'm
- 2:28Speaker 1: anti vaxx. I want to make that clear. But what
- 2:31Speaker 1: is clear is this, they want you to believe they've
- 2:35Speaker 1: done everything right and anyone that's calling them out as
- 2:37Speaker 1: clearly an anarchist or a foreigner or a member of
- 2:42Speaker 1: some CIA type group that's trying to infiltrate the country.
- 2:47Speaker 1: That's exactly why New Zealand's Prime minister says all of
- 2:50Speaker 1: her measures have kept us safe, alive and well, quote,
- 2:53Speaker 1: you'll forgive me if it takes a very strong view
- 2:55Speaker 1: on that's you'll forgive me if I take a very
- 2:58Speaker 1: strong view on that suggestion by the truckers that we
- 3:01Speaker 1: should stop all of our mandates. I'm keeping you alive, right,
- 3:06Speaker 1: I'm keeping you safe. I very clearly have a view
- 3:09Speaker 1: on the protesters and the way that they've conducted their
- 3:11Speaker 1: protests because it has moved beyond sharing a view to
- 3:15Speaker 1: now intimidation harassment of the people around Wellington. She says
- 3:20Speaker 1: that will not be tolerated. New Zealand is now moving
- 3:24Speaker 1: to arrest those truck drivers. New Zealand also has mandates
- 3:27Speaker 1: that certain workers get vaccinated against COVID nineteen, which is
- 3:30Speaker 1: exactly why the truckers are doing what they are doing
- 3:32Speaker 1: in Canada. But New Zealand goes even further than that.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Their vaccine mandates include teachers, doctors, nurses, police, and military personnel.
- 3:46Speaker 1: In New Zealand, you have to have a vaccine passport
- 3:49Speaker 1: is required to enter most stores and restaurants. But remember,
- 3:53Speaker 1: she's keeping you safe. Even though the cases are rising. Quote,
- 3:56Speaker 1: Wellington's have the right to move freely and safely around
- 3:59Speaker 1: the city. So all roads being clearer is my top priority.
- 4:04Speaker 1: As the government comes down on those truck drivers. Now
- 4:08Speaker 1: there's road going back and forth between American Canada has
- 4:11Speaker 1: been cleared. Why because the truck drivers they decided to
- 4:15Speaker 1: be peaceful. So now it's time for the media to
- 4:19Speaker 1: mock them, to demean them, to dehumanize them, to actually
- 4:24Speaker 1: act like there's some sort of wooses or empty tigers.
- 4:27Speaker 1: They're fakes, they're frauds, they're not real. These people should
- 4:31Speaker 1: be crushed easily because look how spineless they really are
- 4:34Speaker 1: when the government came in against them. Here's part of
- 4:38Speaker 1: the conversation from CNN just a couple hours ago. Traffic
- 4:42Speaker 1: is flowing once again across a key trade route linking
- 4:45Speaker 1: the US and Canada, this after police cleared out COVID
- 4:49Speaker 1: mandate protesters there. Demonstrators blocked the Ambassador Bridge between Detroit
- 4:53Speaker 1: and Windsor, Ontario for nearly one week, crippling supply chains
- 4:57Speaker 1: and costing millions of dollars in lost business CNS. Miguel
- 5:01Speaker 1: Marquez is live in Windsor, and Miguel, traffic, as we
- 5:05Speaker 1: see behind you is moving. Now. Are there concerns that
- 5:09Speaker 1: protesters may come back and they're not done causing these disruptions? Yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 1: most definitely. That is the main concern in the immediate
- 5:19Speaker 1: future for police here, which you know, after all of
- 5:22Speaker 1: the drama of the last week, it ended sort of
- 5:24Speaker 1: with a whimper, about thirty arrests, About twelve cars were
- 5:27Speaker 1: eventually towed. Great patience and restraint on the part of
- 5:30Speaker 1: police who just basically waited out the protesters for a
- 5:34Speaker 1: couple of days before moving them all out. But now
- 5:36Speaker 1: the challenge is going to be keeping that corridor open
- 5:40Speaker 1: because the bridge when you get off on the Canadian side,
- 5:43Speaker 1: it's about three miles of surface streets until you hit
- 5:45Speaker 1: the next highway, and there's lots of areas where they
- 5:48Speaker 1: can Protesters have said they're going to get in, they're
- 5:50Speaker 1: going to try to slow things down. There's still a
- 5:52Speaker 1: very heavy police presence along this route trying to keep
- 5:56Speaker 1: anyone who moves in there moving along and not letting
- 5:59Speaker 1: anyone basically. So it's going to have to continue for
- 6:02Speaker 1: a while because you have protests, border protests across Canada
- 6:07Speaker 1: as well, several other locations across Canada, much smaller border
- 6:10Speaker 1: crossings than this one, and not they don't pack nearly
- 6:13Speaker 1: the economic punch as the as the closing of the
- 6:15Speaker 1: border crossing here. But other protests in Canada still going on,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and obviously in Ottawa as well, where protesters have taken
- 6:22Speaker 1: over Parliament Hill there and refusing to leave, and maybe
- 6:27Speaker 1: some will leave and then they don't. So there's there's
- 6:29Speaker 1: a lot of fighting going on among the protesters themselves.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The start offices and hold on, hold on hold. There's
- 6:35Speaker 1: a lot of fighting going on among the protesters themselves
- 6:40Speaker 1: based on what based on what these guys are completely united,
- 6:46Speaker 1: the citizens are supporting them, are united. They're also willing
- 6:50Speaker 1: to abide by many of the laws and be peaceful.
- 6:55Speaker 1: This bridge between the US and Canada reopens after protesters
- 6:58Speaker 1: are cleared. Many of them walked away because they were peaceful.
- 7:00Speaker 1: They didn't want to fight, but they wanted to make
- 7:02Speaker 1: a point. And now you're mocking them. You say this,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and again I'm quoting exact quote here from CNN. You know,
- 7:09Speaker 1: these protesters, these truckers are wrapped in the notion of
- 7:12Speaker 1: freedom quote whatever that means. And then you're going to say, well, basically,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and this is exact quote, basically, they want exactly what
- 7:21Speaker 1: they want, which is all of those restrictions gone. That's
- 7:24Speaker 1: exactly right, that's what they want. But you mocked them.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now you think this is going to make them just
- 7:28Speaker 1: go home and stop fighting. Now, the other part about
- 7:32Speaker 1: this hypocrisy is you notice how now they're they're trying
- 7:34Speaker 1: to just demean them as like, oh, this is just
- 7:36Speaker 1: a bunch of empty tigers. These people are wooses. They
- 7:39Speaker 1: got you know, they left when the government showed up.
- 7:41Speaker 1: We should crush them all easily. I have a question
- 7:46Speaker 1: what changed so quickly, because for the last three weeks
- 7:49Speaker 1: you've been telling me that these truckers are the most
- 7:50Speaker 1: dangerous people in the world. You've been telling them me
- 7:52Speaker 1: their domestic terrorists, they're anarchists. You've been telling me they're
- 7:56Speaker 1: going to be violent. You've been telling me they're clansmen.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You've been telling me that they are the worst people
- 8:02Speaker 1: in the world. So which one is it? Are they
- 8:04Speaker 1: empty suits? Are they an empty tiger? Or or are
- 8:09Speaker 1: they actually terrorists? Because you can't have it both ways.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Right in New Zealand, they're still referring to them as like, oh,
- 8:14Speaker 1: these are imported domestic terrorists. In Canada, they were terrorists
- 8:18Speaker 1: for two and a half. Three weeks now Trudeau refer
- 8:21Speaker 1: to them as anarchists, right, these are not Canadians. Well,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you know these people are are racists, they're bigots. They're
- 8:32Speaker 1: gonna try to burn down cities, which they haven't done.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Now you're like, oh, they're empty suits. No problems here.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I go back to her montage. This is the news,
- 8:42Speaker 1: and this is the politicians, and this is what they've
- 8:45Speaker 1: been saying about the truck drivers in Canada, and now
- 8:46Speaker 1: all of a sudden, the entire story changes. They're a
- 8:48Speaker 1: bunch of just woosses, They're a bunch of just empty suits.
- 8:51Speaker 1: They're just a small minority that can be crushed by
- 8:53Speaker 1: the government. Sedition insurrection, a threat to democracy. Sedition insurrection,
- 9:00Speaker 1: threat to democracy. That's how they were profiling them on
- 9:02Speaker 1: CNN A week ago, Ottawa mayor declaring a state of emergency.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Is vaccine mandate? Protests grow across Canada. Right, We're gonna then,
- 9:10Speaker 1: We're gonna tow them, We're gonna drag them from their trucks.
- 9:13Speaker 1: This is this edition. This is anarchy. They're holding us hostage.
- 9:18Speaker 1: They were referred to as some of the media see
- 9:21Speaker 1: this city is under siege. They are now calling it
- 9:23Speaker 1: another it's under siege. This is a this is a
- 9:25Speaker 1: moment of war. This is all under we are under siege.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Alarming situation there in Ottawa, Yes, an alarming situation there
- 9:34Speaker 1: in Ottawa. It's alarming. Well what happened to being alarmed?
- 9:38Speaker 1: Because now you're acting like these people are empty suits.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Police chief is calling it a nationwide insurrection driven by madness. Yes,
- 9:46Speaker 1: driven by madness, I tell you, yes, a nationwide insurrection
- 9:51Speaker 1: driven by madness. Yes. The people that want freedom are
- 9:54Speaker 1: the mad men of society, the mad women of society.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Remember this is the same exact thing over and over again.
- 10:00Speaker 1: We are seeing this over and over and over and
- 10:05Speaker 1: over again. We are seeing this. When people stand up
- 10:10Speaker 1: for freedom, what do they do? They call you a terrorist?
- 10:14Speaker 1: You don't believe me. Do you remember what they were
- 10:16Speaker 1: saying about the parents that showed up at school board meetings,
- 10:18Speaker 1: how they referred to them as domestic terrorists. Do you
- 10:22Speaker 1: remember that parents that showed up for school board meetings
- 10:26Speaker 1: were they wanted to label them the Democratic Party and
- 10:28Speaker 1: the teachers' unions labeled not wanted to They did label
- 10:32Speaker 1: them as domestic terrorists. They wanted to ban them forever
- 10:39Speaker 1: from school board meetings. They were domestic terrorists. And now, haha,
- 10:45Speaker 1: you better get ready because they're trying to organize in America,
- 10:48Speaker 1: these truckers trying to organize in America. Yeah, we got
- 10:51Speaker 1: something coming for you now. It's very important that the
- 10:55Speaker 1: truckers in America understand what they're up against. You have.
- 10:59Speaker 1: The media wants to indict you. So I'm warning you
- 11:02Speaker 1: about that. You have to make sure that you don't
- 11:05Speaker 1: break laws because in America we are different than other countries.
- 11:09Speaker 1: And if you break laws, they're going to punish you,
- 11:12Speaker 1: and they're going to attack you, and they're going to
- 11:15Speaker 1: come after you, and organizing this thing comes with a
- 11:19Speaker 1: lot of risks because the media is all ready to
- 11:23Speaker 1: describe these people as domestic terrorists. So if you are
- 11:27Speaker 1: a truck driver, if you know a truck driver, and
- 11:30Speaker 1: you're excited about hearing that there's going to be activity
- 11:33Speaker 1: in America, you need to know the details. You need
- 11:35Speaker 1: to know the facts, You need to know how this
- 11:37Speaker 1: is going to be put together and how you're going
- 11:39Speaker 1: to organize. Joining me now to talk about this as
- 11:43Speaker 1: a man that is behind getting these truckers organizes. The
- 11:47Speaker 1: chair and the founder of GAP, the Great American Patriot Project,
- 11:51Speaker 1: Alex Phillips, is with us. Alex, I appreciate you coming
- 11:54Speaker 1: on and we set the stage before we brought you
- 11:58Speaker 1: in about what's happening to these truckers, how they're being
- 12:01Speaker 1: described by the media, how they're being attacked, and there's
- 12:04Speaker 1: a real problem now logistically to organize. And I think
- 12:08Speaker 1: you've seen this and I want to get your reaction
- 12:11Speaker 1: to what has happened in Canada. You know, they tried
- 12:13Speaker 1: to suffocate these truck drivers in Canada by stopping the
- 12:16Speaker 1: funds when they went in to go fund me they
- 12:18Speaker 1: raised you know, twenty million dollars or whatever the number was,
- 12:21Speaker 1: and they froze those funds. Then they found another place
- 12:23Speaker 1: that would be willing to accept donations, they had to stop,
- 12:26Speaker 1: all start all over to get more funds. And then
- 12:29Speaker 1: the government said, we're going to take that money because
- 12:31Speaker 1: we believe it could be used for terrorism or anarchy
- 12:35Speaker 1: or the attacks on cities and the burning of season
- 12:37Speaker 1: not a joke, even though you can still get money
- 12:39Speaker 1: to Black Lives Matter all over these sites on go
- 12:42Speaker 1: fund me, and they were actually doing this in America.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So in this country, we've got to clearly organize the
- 12:50Speaker 1: right way. We have to make sure that when we
- 12:52Speaker 1: give money that the money is not only one transparent,
- 12:55Speaker 1: but there's honesty and integrity involved in the process, but
- 12:58Speaker 1: two that it doesn't get stolen or not delivered to
- 13:02Speaker 1: the people that are going to need it. And that's
- 13:04Speaker 1: where you guys came in and said, hey, we can
- 13:06Speaker 1: accomplish all this by learning from what just happened in Canada. Yes, Ben,
- 13:11Speaker 1: thanks for having me on. So, yeah, we've been paying
- 13:13Speaker 1: attention closely to what's been going on. The Great American
- 13:16Speaker 1: Patriot Project is all about you know, supporting, you know,
- 13:19Speaker 1: the Great American Dream, so to speak. And you know
- 13:22Speaker 1: that it comes down to what the Constitution says. And
- 13:25Speaker 1: truckers in the United States as well as many people
- 13:28Speaker 1: on social media specifically, are not getting a chance to
- 13:31Speaker 1: speakum and get their opinions across. And you know what
- 13:35Speaker 1: we saw in Canada is that you know, the truck
- 13:36Speaker 1: drivers there, you decided they were going to get together.
- 13:39Speaker 1: And really what we're seeing is old school you know activism.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You know, Um, they can't speak publicly online anymore where
- 13:47Speaker 1: they had the power to do so, and so they
- 13:49Speaker 1: got they went old school that you know, they decided
- 13:51Speaker 1: they were going to do a convoy and um, you know,
- 13:54Speaker 1: they are counter narrative. They are against you know, the
- 13:57Speaker 1: government narratives of many government is actually all across the world,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and so you know there's a problem with that from
- 14:04Speaker 1: their perspective, the government's perspective, and so they've gone to
- 14:07Speaker 1: great lengths to to demonize what these people are doing
- 14:10Speaker 1: when they're just regular people just like the rest of us. Uh.
- 14:14Speaker 1: They work, you know, they work, they go, they go home,
- 14:17Speaker 1: they've got families, they've got you know, dreams, and and
- 14:20Speaker 1: they're being put down and they're taking time out of
- 14:22Speaker 1: their lives, and these funds that were that were donated
- 14:25Speaker 1: by the public, whether it's you know in Canada or
- 14:28Speaker 1: around the world, was designed to help them sustain themselves
- 14:32Speaker 1: while they were moving forward. And and I'm kind of
- 14:34Speaker 1: surprised that the lengths that that the government in Canada
- 14:37Speaker 1: has gone through, but you know, we're taking we're taking
- 14:39Speaker 1: an example from that, and so we're trying to focus on,
- 14:42Speaker 1: you know, how can we do it in a way
- 14:44Speaker 1: that we cannot be labeled and so you know, we're
- 14:47Speaker 1: going to be very transparent. We're using you know, our
- 14:50Speaker 1: pack as a as a means to take funds because
- 14:53Speaker 1: there's absolutely no way to hide anything there. Everything will
- 14:56Speaker 1: be completely transparent to the public of where the funds
- 14:59Speaker 1: are coming from and where they're going. UH. And we're
- 15:01Speaker 1: also asking everybody's participating that we're going to be working
- 15:04Speaker 1: with to agree to not break the law, and if
- 15:07Speaker 1: they violate that agreement, you know, they're not going to
- 15:09Speaker 1: be part of this group. UM. We want everybody to
- 15:12Speaker 1: have a chance to voice their opinions. We're going to
- 15:15Speaker 1: allow uh social media to participate with this UM and
- 15:18Speaker 1: if it's not you know, on Twitter or Facebook, it's
- 15:21Speaker 1: going to be on gap and rumble, and so you know,
- 15:24Speaker 1: that's where it's going to be. And that's that's the
- 15:26Speaker 1: people we're going to work with, because they're the ones
- 15:27Speaker 1: that are ready to take on the mantel to to
- 15:31Speaker 1: convey the message at these truckers because you know, I'm
- 15:34Speaker 1: just a regular guy, right, I'm not I'm not a politician,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I'm not superman, I'm not anything. I'm just a regular guy.
- 15:40Speaker 1: And I know that these guys are out there and
- 15:42Speaker 1: gals are out there, you know, delivering and working hard.
- 15:45Speaker 1: They were asked to work through the entire pandemic to
- 15:47Speaker 1: make sure that we had food, toilet paper, uh, you know,
- 15:50Speaker 1: and everything else we needed to sustain life on a
- 15:52Speaker 1: regular basis. And we're seeing that, you know, they're being
- 15:56Speaker 1: pressured to to deal with some restrictions and mandates that
- 16:01Speaker 1: are are just really unconstitutional. And I think that everybody's
- 16:04Speaker 1: really starting to wake up to that, regardless of where
- 16:06Speaker 1: you are left or right, and then they're going to
- 16:10Speaker 1: make a statement. And so there's a lot of groups
- 16:12Speaker 1: out there that are going to be doing these convoys
- 16:14Speaker 1: and so all we're doing is we're trying to create
- 16:16Speaker 1: an environment where we can help let people who want
- 16:19Speaker 1: to help, because not everybody's gonna you know, not everybody
- 16:21Speaker 1: drives the truck, but they want to help these people
- 16:23Speaker 1: and you know, you know, help them pay for gas
- 16:25Speaker 1: or diesel and lunch and dinner and breakfast, you know,
- 16:29Speaker 1: as they take time off of their schedules to do
- 16:31Speaker 1: this away from their families, to make a statement and
- 16:34Speaker 1: you know, basically to put the hammer down on some
- 16:37Speaker 1: of this, uh what's going on with the government and
- 16:40Speaker 1: the mandates and and really a lot of unconstitutional activity.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, were you shocked? And again,
- 16:46Speaker 1: if you want to get involved in help And that's
- 16:48Speaker 1: the reason why we're doing this series about these truckers
- 16:51Speaker 1: and what we're trying to do here in this country.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Knowing the limitations, I think is also part of the
- 16:56Speaker 1: reality that you guys have accepted on the front end
- 16:59Speaker 1: that you don't want to break the law, that you
- 17:01Speaker 1: want to set a tone example of we are rising
- 17:04Speaker 1: and we are standing up, but we're going to do
- 17:06Speaker 1: it in a lawful way, which is why so many
- 17:08Speaker 1: law enforcement I've actually already started back these truckers and
- 17:11Speaker 1: you can go online to American Truckers Freedom Fund dot com,
- 17:16Speaker 1: American Truckers Freedom Fund dot com and get involved. But
- 17:20Speaker 1: part of this, and I think I want to explain
- 17:23Speaker 1: the expectations here so that we can let you know
- 17:27Speaker 1: what the goal and the objective is before the media
- 17:29Speaker 1: tries to find it. It is to get as many
- 17:32Speaker 1: truckers involved in the country as we can. Whether it's
- 17:35Speaker 1: leaving from Fresno on the on the second of March,
- 17:40Speaker 1: whether it's leaving in Ohio, UH, in Cleveland on the sixth,
- 17:44Speaker 1: whether it's UH and going to DC. There's all of
- 17:47Speaker 1: these different corridors. You can see their maps, and it's
- 17:50Speaker 1: all transparent. UH. There's no hiding here, all right, So
- 17:54Speaker 1: people understand this, UH coming there, going from Cleveland and
- 17:57Speaker 1: going from Columbus and going from Fresno, and truckers are
- 18:01Speaker 1: going to be joining along the way in this convoy.
- 18:04Speaker 1: But you guys are not trying to do a blockade.
- 18:06Speaker 1: You're not trying to surround the White House. You're not
- 18:08Speaker 1: trying to shut down Washington, DC in the Capitol building.
- 18:12Speaker 1: That's not the objective and the goal here, and before
- 18:14Speaker 1: the media tries to tell you that these people are
- 18:16Speaker 1: domestic terrorists, and before the media tries to tell you
- 18:18Speaker 1: that they're anarchists, and before they tell you they're trying
- 18:21Speaker 1: to do January sixth over again, that is absolutely not
- 18:25Speaker 1: what you guys are planning and what these truckers are
- 18:28Speaker 1: trying to do. And I want to make that very clear.
- 18:30Speaker 1: So we have it on record two and a half
- 18:32Speaker 1: weeks in advance that this is what our objective is
- 18:35Speaker 1: and it's not what they're going to tell you it is.
- 18:38Speaker 1: That's correct. So again, like I said, we're going to
- 18:41Speaker 1: old school. We're trying to bring awareness and sometimes people
- 18:45Speaker 1: have to gather in mass, but we're working with law enforcement.
- 18:49Speaker 1: We're communicating with those people. We're telling them, hey, you know,
- 18:53Speaker 1: we don't want to be perceived as some kind of
- 18:56Speaker 1: group that it's going to obstruct or block or you know,
- 19:00Speaker 1: make a make a mess of the highways. So tell us,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you know, give us, give us your feedback, tell us
- 19:05Speaker 1: what you want. We've been working. You know, DC is
- 19:09Speaker 1: one of the areas that we're being very sensitive about.
- 19:12Speaker 1: We're not going to be surrounding the White House. We're
- 19:13Speaker 1: not going to be going into DC to shut down
- 19:15Speaker 1: that that district. You know, we're gonna be very conscientious
- 19:18Speaker 1: about it. But it's very important for people to be
- 19:20Speaker 1: aware that, you know, there's no there's no class of
- 19:24Speaker 1: American that has more or less rights. And these people,
- 19:30Speaker 1: the truck drivers, they're very important, but it doesn't mean
- 19:33Speaker 1: that they're more important than anybody else. But it doesn't
- 19:35Speaker 1: mean they're less important than anybody else. They're all equal
- 19:38Speaker 1: under the law, and so their voice is not being heard.
- 19:41Speaker 1: A lot of people's voices are not being heard. They're
- 19:43Speaker 1: they're a symbol right now, not just for the truck
- 19:45Speaker 1: drivers and the suppliers, but you know, the postman, you know,
- 19:49Speaker 1: all the people that are having to work hard during
- 19:52Speaker 1: the pandemic that you know, people that are working at
- 19:54Speaker 1: the grocery stores, everybody that has been forced to contend
- 19:58Speaker 1: with this situation. It's just these truck driver that they've
- 20:01Speaker 1: decided they're going to make a stand. They're going to
- 20:03Speaker 1: be the symbol for this right now. They are the
- 20:06Speaker 1: working class, uh leaders in this particular event. And but
- 20:10Speaker 1: they represent everybody and not just you know, not just
- 20:13Speaker 1: the people that are a blue collar, but they represent
- 20:16Speaker 1: the white collar, they represent anybody's collar. You know, they're
- 20:19Speaker 1: just taking the stand right now because you know, they
- 20:22Speaker 1: are a unified group. They're you know, they're they're Americans,
- 20:26Speaker 1: and they are white, they're black, they're all different races,
- 20:29Speaker 1: all different ethnicities, all different genders, all different religions. They're
- 20:34Speaker 1: not anything but Americans. So you know, it's very important
- 20:37Speaker 1: that people understand that. And like I said, we're gonna
- 20:39Speaker 1: we're gonna be very transparent about this. We're we're just
- 20:42Speaker 1: focusing on logistics and communications and making sure that you know,
- 20:45Speaker 1: people get to support they need, and making sure that
- 20:48Speaker 1: we help the people that you know are doing the
- 20:50Speaker 1: right thing too. You know, we we don't want to
- 20:52Speaker 1: uh enable troublemakers and obstructionists and terrorism in any war.
- 20:57Speaker 1: You know, we're not We're not about that because that's
- 21:00Speaker 1: unproductive and it's not the American way. You know. Let's
- 21:03Speaker 1: talk about how the media is covering, um, these truckers
- 21:07Speaker 1: really anywhere in the world. Uh. They're referring them to insurrectionists,
- 21:10Speaker 1: They're referring to them as anarchists, they're referring to them
- 21:13Speaker 1: as KKK members, they're referring to them as is also
- 21:16Speaker 1: as Trump lovers, as they put it. I mean, they
- 21:20Speaker 1: are really doubling down on the rhetoric. Uh. And and
- 21:25Speaker 1: this rhetoric is that these are the worst people in
- 21:29Speaker 1: the world coming together, uh you know, Trudeau is referred
- 21:33Speaker 1: to them as a as a minority that should not
- 21:36Speaker 1: be looked at, that should not be supported, that they
- 21:40Speaker 1: are not true Canadians. They've tried to take away their
- 21:43Speaker 1: uh you know, even their citizenship in a way that
- 21:46Speaker 1: they're that they're somehow not advocating for freedom. And if
- 21:49Speaker 1: you look at these truckers in Canada and what they've
- 21:51Speaker 1: been able to accomplish while being peaceful, I think it's
- 21:56Speaker 1: truly incredible. I think it's truly unbelievable what they've been
- 21:59Speaker 1: able to accomplish. And now you see a media that's
- 22:04Speaker 1: mocking these Canadian truck drivers as some of them are
- 22:07Speaker 1: going back to work, some of them are trying to
- 22:09Speaker 1: just go and support their families now after making a
- 22:12Speaker 1: statement and inspiring others, And I worry that what you're
- 22:16Speaker 1: going to witness here is a dehumanization of you guys
- 22:21Speaker 1: in a way that I think is anti American. I
- 22:25Speaker 1: think this is the most American thing that you can
- 22:28Speaker 1: do to go get in a truck, take days off work,
- 22:32Speaker 1: drive across the country and make it clear that these
- 22:35Speaker 1: vaccine mandates for truckers going across the borders absurd, especially
- 22:39Speaker 1: when we have an open southern border and we're not
- 22:41Speaker 1: testing people coming across the border. That this is all
- 22:44Speaker 1: about the tyrants showing how much power they have over you.
- 22:48Speaker 1: And yet they're going to call these truck drivers and
- 22:52Speaker 1: already are on TV un American. Yes, you know, it's
- 22:55Speaker 1: inevitable that kind of stuff when anytime you're counterne narrative
- 23:01Speaker 1: that you know, the people that are in charge of
- 23:03Speaker 1: the elite, the government, uh will will basically say that you're,
- 23:07Speaker 1: you know, doing something Unamerican. But I think something interesting
- 23:10Speaker 1: has been happening, um. And you know, I think that
- 23:13Speaker 1: in Canada, they had not only the media against them,
- 23:16Speaker 1: but they had the government against them, and they were
- 23:18Speaker 1: able to shut them down from being funded, but it
- 23:20Speaker 1: didn't stop them from conveying their message, and they were
- 23:23Speaker 1: able to make a lot of people aware of what
- 23:25Speaker 1: was going on and make some change. And I think
- 23:28Speaker 1: that's going to happen here. Um. But public is starting
- 23:31Speaker 1: to become aware of, you know, the differences between right
- 23:34Speaker 1: and wrong, and truth and fiction and and what's propaganda
- 23:37Speaker 1: and what's actually real because you know, most of these
- 23:40Speaker 1: truck drivers are just regular Americans. They're just like most
- 23:43Speaker 1: people in this country. Yes, there's a lot of people
- 23:46Speaker 1: that are afraid of the pandemic, and they've been they've
- 23:48Speaker 1: been conditioned to be afraid. And they wear the masks.
- 23:51Speaker 1: They wear two masks, three masks, they've got five different
- 23:54Speaker 1: you know shots in their arm, you know, and those
- 23:57Speaker 1: people are afraid, and and I feel bad for them.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But most most people are starting to become aware that
- 24:03Speaker 1: you know, hey, you know, we got to move on
- 24:05Speaker 1: with life. You know, things are bad all over the
- 24:08Speaker 1: all over the world for one reason or another. But
- 24:10Speaker 1: you know, nothing that that that the government is doing
- 24:13Speaker 1: right now that's taking away our civil liberties, making that
- 24:16Speaker 1: much of a difference. And so it's time to move on.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It's time for everybody to stand up, pull up, you know,
- 24:20Speaker 1: pull their pants up, so to speak, and and basically,
- 24:23Speaker 1: you know, get on with life and not be afraid
- 24:26Speaker 1: all the time. And these truckers are our core component
- 24:30Speaker 1: of American life. And that you know, they're a blue
- 24:32Speaker 1: collar class of people. They work hard, there's no doubt
- 24:36Speaker 1: about that. You know, they work tirelessly, long hours, uh,
- 24:41Speaker 1: unrespected by you know, the elite. But yet you know,
- 24:44Speaker 1: the first thing everybody complains about is that the grocery stores,
- 24:47Speaker 1: uh you know, bear of you know, frozen foods or
- 24:50Speaker 1: toilet paper. And that's because you know, we've we've made
- 24:53Speaker 1: you know, such a bad example um in policy to
- 24:57Speaker 1: these folks that you know, they just they can't do
- 25:00Speaker 1: but so much. But they are working their butts off.
- 25:03Speaker 1: They're putting the hammer down on this situation and they're
- 25:05Speaker 1: going to start, you know, going old school and put
- 25:08Speaker 1: together a convoy and demonstrate legally like this country was
- 25:14Speaker 1: meant to be. You know, there's a lot of people
- 25:16Speaker 1: online and we've been getting so many messages from people
- 25:20Speaker 1: just with even our part one about what is being
- 25:24Speaker 1: organized here and saying how can I get involved? I
- 25:27Speaker 1: would argue, it's two things you can do at this point,
- 25:29Speaker 1: and I want to get your response to this one. Yes,
- 25:33Speaker 1: these truckers are going to need money for their basic
- 25:36Speaker 1: food and for the diesel and taking the days off
- 25:38Speaker 1: work so that they can able to accomplish, especially driving
- 25:41Speaker 1: literally from California all the way to watch INDC. But
- 25:44Speaker 1: number two, as you see this corridor map, which is
- 25:47Speaker 1: again this is all being incredibly transparent and that's part
- 25:52Speaker 1: of why I love the way that you guys are
- 25:54Speaker 1: organizing this. There's not secrecy, this is transparency. Here's where
- 25:58Speaker 1: we're going to be, here's what we're doing, this is
- 26:00Speaker 1: what time we're going to be there. If you see
- 26:02Speaker 1: this convoy coming across the country close to you, you
- 26:05Speaker 1: can join in, even if it's for twenty miles or
- 26:09Speaker 1: fifty miles or one hundred miles, just so that people
- 26:12Speaker 1: understand that it's not just the truck drivers are standing up,
- 26:16Speaker 1: it's Americans. And that's what we've seen in Canada. We've
- 26:18Speaker 1: witnessed people in Canada doing exactly that. I'm shocked at
- 26:23Speaker 1: what's happened in Canada and and and honestly how it's
- 26:27Speaker 1: evolved into the fact that you know, first to go
- 26:30Speaker 1: fund me shut them down and there was no reason
- 26:32Speaker 1: for that. And then you know, another organization took up
- 26:35Speaker 1: the mantel to sit to be a focal point for fundraising,
- 26:38Speaker 1: and the judge you know, in that and that in
- 26:42Speaker 1: that country has basically uh blocked that money from being
- 26:45Speaker 1: handed out, calling it a crime and so and to
- 26:48Speaker 1: go so far as I have read on social media
- 26:52Speaker 1: over the weekend that that somebody's hacked and shut down
- 26:55Speaker 1: that that organization. And I'm thinking myself, who is doing this?
- 26:58Speaker 1: You know, who is behind this massive onslaught of of
- 27:03Speaker 1: attack to stop people from driving down the road in
- 27:06Speaker 1: an organized and peaceful manner um to to basically protest
- 27:13Speaker 1: something they don't believe in. When you know, just it
- 27:15Speaker 1: was just, you know, not too long ago that fundraisers
- 27:19Speaker 1: were abound for destroying city. You know this, all this
- 27:24Speaker 1: money was being funneled into campaigns to shut down cities,
- 27:29Speaker 1: to create crime and rea havoc in a manner that's
- 27:32Speaker 1: totally Unamerican, and people on both sides of the aisle,
- 27:37Speaker 1: on every race, creed, color, religion, didn't agree with, you know,
- 27:44Speaker 1: and yet it's just allowed. And so we're gonna we're
- 27:47Speaker 1: gonna learn, you know, we we we they set the rules.
- 27:50Speaker 1: So we're gonna be very transparent. Everybody's going to commit
- 27:53Speaker 1: to not breaking the law. They're gonna have to be
- 27:56Speaker 1: law abiding citizens. They're gonna you know, we're working with
- 27:58Speaker 1: law enforcement to make sure that we don't create any
- 28:01Speaker 1: kind of disruption of thoroughfares or anything like that. But
- 28:06Speaker 1: but we're going to be seen. These people are going
- 28:08Speaker 1: to be seen. They're going to be heard, and they're
- 28:11Speaker 1: going to be noticed, and people are going to have
- 28:13Speaker 1: to recognize that there's something that's not right. And I'm
- 28:16Speaker 1: so proud of the truck drivers. You know, they're they're
- 28:20Speaker 1: a mainstay of our society. There. They keep us supplied
- 28:24Speaker 1: with things. They deliver our our food, they deliver our
- 28:28Speaker 1: toilet papers, they deliver our boxes or Christmas gifts, you know,
- 28:32Speaker 1: everything we need to make our lives work every day.
- 28:36Speaker 1: And they're just sort of like they're in the background.
- 28:38Speaker 1: But now they're not. They're going to be in the foreground.
- 28:41Speaker 1: We're gonna see and they're going to represent not just
- 28:43Speaker 1: themselves in their industry, but every American that is being
- 28:47Speaker 1: forgotten about, every American that's being you know, shut down
- 28:51Speaker 1: by the elite in this particular case, they're gonna be
- 28:55Speaker 1: I think there's big change that's happening in this country.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And one of the ways that I describe it as
- 29:01Speaker 1: look at the Olympics and how people have just saying
- 29:05Speaker 1: I'm not watching this anymore, I'm not going to give
- 29:07Speaker 1: you my money, I'm not going to support you anymore.
- 29:10Speaker 1: When you do what you're doing, when you're the genocide
- 29:13Speaker 1: games as I describe them. I mean, even NBC News
- 29:16Speaker 1: has had to come out and say they admit, hey,
- 29:17Speaker 1: fifty percent ratings down compared to the last window Olympics.
- 29:20Speaker 1: And it's because people have just had enough. They've had
- 29:22Speaker 1: enough of what of what's happening in China, They've had
- 29:26Speaker 1: enough of the American media treating them the way they
- 29:29Speaker 1: are treating them like their domestic terrorists. If you're a
- 29:31Speaker 1: parent that shows up for a school board meeting, I
- 29:33Speaker 1: truly believe that Joe Biden is going to be the
- 29:38Speaker 1: biggest gift to freedom that we've seen probably in forty
- 29:41Speaker 1: years in this country because of the way that he
- 29:44Speaker 1: has treated and Nancy Pelosi have treated people. Look at
- 29:47Speaker 1: look at what happened even with a Super Bowl, the
- 29:51Speaker 1: number of celebrities and the number of elected officials that
- 29:53Speaker 1: have demanded mass mandates, put mass mandates on your kids
- 29:56Speaker 1: in schools who were there clearly not wearing masks. And
- 30:00Speaker 1: it's another example of do as I say, not as
- 30:02Speaker 1: I do. Right, it's I have rules for you, and
- 30:06Speaker 1: I get to play by a different set of rules.
- 30:08Speaker 1: And time and time again, you can see these politicians
- 30:11Speaker 1: who are out there who clearly right, clearly are not
- 30:18Speaker 1: playing by the same rules that they are mandating and
- 30:21Speaker 1: dictating on each and every one of us. And I
- 30:23Speaker 1: think that's one of the reason why, whether it's the truckers,
- 30:26Speaker 1: whether it's the parents, whether the kids that are walking
- 30:29Speaker 1: out on schools, I think you have an awakening that
- 30:33Speaker 1: is taking place in this country in a way that
- 30:36Speaker 1: people are now not going to just walk away or
- 30:40Speaker 1: back down or submit any longer because they've lost two
- 30:43Speaker 1: years of making memories with their families, two years of business,
- 30:47Speaker 1: two years of traveling, and really, to put it simply,
- 30:50Speaker 1: two years of freedom that has been taken away by
- 30:54Speaker 1: quote medical experts that have gotten it all wrong on
- 30:58Speaker 1: every single level, and none of them have apologized and
- 31:01Speaker 1: say they're sorry or try to correct their mistakes. They're
- 31:04Speaker 1: still wanting lockdowns, they're still wanting mass mandates. They're still
- 31:07Speaker 1: wanting to mandate that you get vaccine. They still want
- 31:09Speaker 1: to mandate that you have a vaccine passport. They want
- 31:12Speaker 1: to mandate truck drivers who are a threat to no one.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And let's just really talk about the science here and
- 31:18Speaker 1: what happened in Canada. These truck drivers are in their
- 31:20Speaker 1: cab ninety plus percent of the time, ninety eight percent
- 31:23Speaker 1: of the time locked in a and a cab by themselves.
- 31:25Speaker 1: They are not a threat. You have a wide open
- 31:28Speaker 1: southern border right now, which is a threat to this country.
- 31:31Speaker 1: And that's why these truck drivers where they did in Canada,
- 31:34Speaker 1: they're like, this is no and ninety percent, by the way,
- 31:36Speaker 1: the truck drivers are vaccine They're not. They're not even
- 31:38Speaker 1: anti vacs. They're they're in favor of freedom. And this
- 31:41Speaker 1: is this is not even about a vaccine that I I
- 31:43Speaker 1: would argue anymore. This is about freedom. And I think
- 31:46Speaker 1: that's why you guys are hearing this from some of
- 31:48Speaker 1: the truck drivers, is you're organizing. Yeah, they are. They're
- 31:52Speaker 1: they're basically your typical Americans. They are not any you know,
- 31:56Speaker 1: they don't they don't expect to be treated any differently.
- 31:59Speaker 1: They don't expect any privilege for what they do, no
- 32:02Speaker 1: matter how important their job is. And I think that's
- 32:05Speaker 1: what you know, people need to understand. You know, in
- 32:06Speaker 1: a country, you know, like the United States, where the
- 32:09Speaker 1: constitution makes everybody equal to the law, but over time,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I think some people feel like they're a little bit
- 32:15Speaker 1: more equal than others, and you know, we talk about
- 32:18Speaker 1: the elite, we talk about the you know, the people
- 32:20Speaker 1: that sort of in charge. And you know, when it
- 32:23Speaker 1: comes right down to it, the American people have an
- 32:27Speaker 1: unwritten contract, so to speak, with our government, and we
- 32:32Speaker 1: give them the authority to govern us, and we become
- 32:35Speaker 1: the governed. And there's a trust that's supposed to be there.
- 32:37Speaker 1: It's a social contract. And you know, you can see
- 32:41Speaker 1: that over time over the years, you know, since since
- 32:44Speaker 1: literally the mid seventies, but that trust has gone down significantly.
- 32:48Speaker 1: I think that the Pew Charitable Trust looked at at
- 32:51Speaker 1: this study and you know, they've got to kind of
- 32:53Speaker 1: juggle the numbers and fun get a little funky with
- 32:56Speaker 1: them so that people don't think that at the end
- 32:57Speaker 1: of the world. But you know, trust and government is
- 33:00Speaker 1: that it's probably its lowest rate ever in history. And
- 33:05Speaker 1: you know, when that trust finally collapse, if it collapses,
- 33:08Speaker 1: then there is no social contract and then you know,
- 33:12Speaker 1: there's no reason for the government to be governed anymore.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And honestly, I don't want that. I'm not interested in anarchy.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I'm not interested in feudalism. I'm not interested in you know,
- 33:21Speaker 1: going back in time and you know, the good old
- 33:24Speaker 1: days of the Western, you know, where the cowboys ruled
- 33:28Speaker 1: the planes and and and people you know, just sort
- 33:30Speaker 1: of did whatever they want to do. I like the
- 33:33Speaker 1: fact that we have governance in our country, but it
- 33:36Speaker 1: has to be a representative People have to have a voice,
- 33:40Speaker 1: and there has to be an understanding that everybody is
- 33:43Speaker 1: equal under the law, and no one no matter if
- 33:46Speaker 1: your white collar, blue collar, you know, no matter what's
- 33:48Speaker 1: your job, if you're the trash man or you're you know,
- 33:51Speaker 1: a brain surgeon, there's no difference. Everybody's got a place
- 33:56Speaker 1: in our life. Everybodys got a place in our government,
- 33:59Speaker 1: and everybody's got to play in the United States. But
