- 2:02Speaker 1: shall well a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the
- 2:06Speaker 1: voice come on dig me NW one and only. Steve
- 2:10Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. I was. I had my
- 2:14Speaker 1: head down and it was thinking of what I wanted
- 2:18Speaker 1: to say this morning. But it kind of it's kind
- 2:23Speaker 1: of be something I've lived for a long time, and
- 2:29Speaker 1: you know, for a long time, you know, I had
- 2:31Speaker 1: a lot of faith in people. You know. It's strange too,
- 2:34Speaker 1: because you know, you know, my mother was a Sunday
- 2:38Speaker 1: school teacher, so of course I grew up around it,
- 2:41Speaker 1: knowing the scriptures and things like that. Not not a
- 2:45Speaker 1: lot of them, but you know, the ones I retained.
- 2:48Speaker 1: But having her as a mother was was a huge
- 2:51Speaker 1: help and understanding about faith. But even with that, as
- 2:55Speaker 1: I grew up, I began to put a lot of
- 2:58Speaker 1: faith in people. And you know, I figured, you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: just like everybody else, you know, man if I could
- 3:05Speaker 1: just meet this person, or if I could just sit
- 3:07Speaker 1: down with that person, or man if I could just
- 3:10Speaker 1: get this person to hear my ideal, or man if
- 3:14Speaker 1: if this person could hear my track, or man if
- 3:17Speaker 1: I could just get this in the hands or somebody
- 3:20Speaker 1: in the know. I was, like everybody else, I thought
- 3:24Speaker 1: that way. You know, I actually thought that if I
- 3:26Speaker 1: could get in a certain situation with a certain person,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that if a certain person were to meet me, that
- 3:33Speaker 1: you know, it could change everything for me. Oh man,
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:42Speaker 1: How long did I spend feeling that way? And how
- 3:45Speaker 1: many of you out there possibly have felt that way before?
- 3:49Speaker 1: You know, like even in a relationship, this is the
- 3:51Speaker 1: person for me, and you know, you just lay claim
- 3:54Speaker 1: to that, you know, not necessarily being a fact, but
- 3:57Speaker 1: you just lay claim to it. This is the person
- 4:00Speaker 1: and for me, this is the person that I want
- 4:02Speaker 1: to spend the rest of my life with. You know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: sometimes you know, we just lay claim to stuff and
- 4:06Speaker 1: it's not always what's in our best interests, or it's
- 4:08Speaker 1: not always a fact. It's just what we decided we
- 4:12Speaker 1: want it. And I was guilty of that, just like
- 4:15Speaker 1: anybody else. And I spent a lot of years in
- 4:17Speaker 1: my life putting faith in people. Man, if I could
- 4:21Speaker 1: tell you anything this morning, it's to stop putting your
- 4:25Speaker 1: faith in people and put your faith in God where
- 4:28Speaker 1: it counts the most. I mean, you can get something
- 4:30Speaker 1: out of this one. See, here's a deal about a
- 4:33Speaker 1: relationship with God. It's the same all the time. He
- 4:37Speaker 1: never changes. His word is one hundred percent absolute. His
- 4:42Speaker 1: word doesn't have loopholes in it, none of that. It's
- 4:45Speaker 1: this is what it is. He's very clear. Now, you
- 4:49Speaker 1: can deviate off your end at a bargain, but it
- 4:53Speaker 1: don't stop what he says from being true. But if
- 4:56Speaker 1: he asks you to do something, if God asks you
- 4:59Speaker 1: to be a certain way, to do a little something
- 5:01Speaker 1: a certain way, and you don't do it that way,
- 5:04Speaker 1: then you know you could still possibly get by for
- 5:08Speaker 1: a while. But don't you understand that his end of
- 5:11Speaker 1: the deal stays the same, and as long as you're
- 5:14Speaker 1: not doing it the way you're supposed to, the results
- 5:16Speaker 1: are not going to be what you wanted to be.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And I did this for years and years and years,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I counted on people, and you know, I got
- 5:25Speaker 1: myself in a lot of situations. And I got out
- 5:28Speaker 1: one a dire situation that I'd been in for a
- 5:31Speaker 1: number of years. But he had protected me from years
- 5:33Speaker 1: prior to that. I didn't even know what was going on,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and then he made it away. It made me aware
- 5:39Speaker 1: of the problem. And then, man, lord ha mercy, I
- 5:42Speaker 1: was in a dismal situation. And then at the end
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the year, I was free, free from it all.
- 5:49Speaker 1: But it was a decision that I had made that
- 5:51Speaker 1: led up to that, and in going through that process,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I had to learn something. Man. I learned a lot
- 5:58Speaker 1: about people. See, if you want to learn about your friends,
- 6:02Speaker 1: if you want to learn about your people people around you,
- 6:06Speaker 1: get yourself in some trouble, get yourself in a situation.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Oh man, you start looking around. Man, the field get
- 6:13Speaker 1: real clear when you're in trouble. The field clear is
- 6:17Speaker 1: out when you're in doubt, when you don't know what
- 6:20Speaker 1: to do, when you need help it get real clear
- 6:23Speaker 1: on the play and field, then don't it. Oh, But
- 6:25Speaker 1: when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We throw in a celebration. We were gonna we're gonna
- 6:31Speaker 1: do one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people
- 6:34Speaker 1: on the field. But but but get yourself in a situation.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You find out rather quickly that old no, old no,
- 6:42Speaker 1: everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I had to start learning this for
- 6:48Speaker 1: real until I finally got it to stop putting my
- 6:51Speaker 1: faith in people and put all of mine in God
- 6:54Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Now is that to say
- 6:57Speaker 1: that there are people that you can't trust. No, that's
- 6:59Speaker 1: not what I'm saying saying. I ain't say you can't
- 7:01Speaker 1: trust him, but you can't dump your faith in him.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I got it all riding on what he say. I
- 7:08Speaker 1: got it all riding on what she say. Na, Na, No,
- 7:14Speaker 1: I hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my
- 7:18Speaker 1: own on this situation because I hear you saying it.
- 7:22Speaker 1: But I'm gonna take this faith of mine and instead
- 7:25Speaker 1: of putting it in people, I'm gonna put it in
- 7:27Speaker 1: God where it counts the most. Because his word is absolute.
- 7:30Speaker 1: What he say he gonna do, he gonna do what
- 7:33Speaker 1: he says he's not gonna tolerate. He's not gonna tolerate. Now,
- 7:36Speaker 1: you can make it, you can make it tolerable for yourself,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but he's not gonna tolerate it. And that's just the
- 7:41Speaker 1: end of the line. And so you know, I'm wondering
- 7:44Speaker 1: how many people out there find themselves in a situation
- 7:47Speaker 1: like me. Or maybe you've gotten yourself in a situation
- 7:50Speaker 1: because you put your faith in some people and now
- 7:52Speaker 1: you wound up in a different type of situation. Now,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let me ask you whetting people that see every person
- 8:00Speaker 1: that I had put my faith in when I got
- 8:02Speaker 1: in trouble, when I got down, I couldn't find them
- 8:05Speaker 1: people nowhere, nowhere, nowhere. I didn't see a lifeline. I
- 8:09Speaker 1: didn't say, hey man, we're coming to get you. I
- 8:11Speaker 1: didn't see none of that. No, sir, no sir. The
- 8:15Speaker 1: only one that I found when I was in my
- 8:20Speaker 1: deepest trouble, when me and my wife were in our
- 8:23Speaker 1: darkest situation, was God. It is the only one was
- 8:27Speaker 1: the only one who was just right there, right there
- 8:31Speaker 1: all the way through. I mean, comforting us, consoling us,
- 8:37Speaker 1: putting us, putting his arms around us, tucking us under
- 8:40Speaker 1: his wings, all of that all it was just him.
- 8:44Speaker 1: It was just him. And I'm asking any of you
- 8:47Speaker 1: to just do the same. If you look around at
- 8:50Speaker 1: the people that you put your faith in, and you
- 8:52Speaker 1: got in a situation because you had some faith in
- 8:55Speaker 1: some people when you got in that situation, where were
- 8:59Speaker 1: those people? Where were they? Nowhere to be found? I
- 9:05Speaker 1: have not. I've yet to find those people when I
- 9:07Speaker 1: get in trouble. And so I'm asking you, why would
- 9:10Speaker 1: you put your faith there when instead you could put
- 9:12Speaker 1: your faith in God where it counts the most, and
- 9:16Speaker 1: He's always there. Now, let me explain something to you.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Because you have this relationship with God, it does not mean,
- 9:25Speaker 1: it does not mean now that it won't get it
- 9:28Speaker 1: won't still be a situation, you understand. But what He
- 9:32Speaker 1: will do is protect you during that period. He'll cover
- 9:37Speaker 1: you during that period that it is a situation. He
- 9:41Speaker 1: will give you the strength to overcome the situation when
- 9:44Speaker 1: it turns into a situation. Then when he cracks it
- 9:48Speaker 1: open for you and the sun is bright and shining,
- 9:51Speaker 1: what he don't want you to do is when he
- 9:53Speaker 1: gets sunny again, to forget about him who was there
- 9:56Speaker 1: when it was dark for you. See. I used to
- 9:59Speaker 1: do that too, you know. I was Oh, man, I
- 10:02Speaker 1: did it. I'm telling you right now, I did it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: But I'm telling you man, when I learned a very
- 10:08Speaker 1: serious lesson and I watched some people I thought were
- 10:12Speaker 1: friends of mine just sort of casually remove themselves from
- 10:17Speaker 1: the situation, then I said, okay. Me and Margie looked around.
- 10:21Speaker 1: We said, okay, it's just me, you and God. And
- 10:24Speaker 1: when we started conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny
- 10:29Speaker 1: for us, we remember God. We stay prayerful, we keep
- 10:33Speaker 1: talking to him. We thank him for the sunshine, we
- 10:36Speaker 1: thank him for the dark days that he allowed us
- 10:39Speaker 1: to do, who allowed us to survive it and turn
- 10:41Speaker 1: it into sunny days. And we talked to him constantly
- 10:45Speaker 1: to protect us of our future enemies. And that's what
- 10:47Speaker 1: the deal is. So if I was everybody, I would
- 10:50Speaker 1: stop putting your faith in people and put your trust
- 10:53Speaker 1: in God where it really does count the most, it
- 10:55Speaker 1: really really does. You're listening to ladies and gentlemen, listen closely.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Get up for the down stroke. Everybody, get up, Get
- 11:11Speaker 1: up on the down stroke. Everybody get up. Doom boom doom, doom, doom.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Don't don't don't doom doom a everybody get up. Good morning,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Sherlet Strawberry, Good morning, Steve Harvey, Colin Farrell, Good morning, Steve.
- 11:31Speaker 1: What's up? Little Pimp Junior? Morning up? Ignorant as Tourney
- 11:36Speaker 1: in the building baby all day. That's our show. That's
- 11:40Speaker 1: our show. Thank y'all for joining us. See y'all along,
- 11:47Speaker 1: L P J, Little Pimp and June I T I
- 11:55Speaker 1: A T I eight ass turning crazy. That is crazy.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You're in a good mood today, Steve, yep T T tds.
- 12:10Speaker 1: What that damn Steve Dds. Let's just gonna keep it
- 12:16Speaker 1: real proper that damn Steve. Yeah yeah, man, I show
- 12:26Speaker 1: how we say it too. I'm in a good mood
- 12:28Speaker 1: because you know why a man calls man, hell, I
- 12:32Speaker 1: ain't in front of the Congress testifying you're not on
- 12:36Speaker 1: the Capitol Hill jail. Well, they would believe you anyway.
- 12:40Speaker 1: They would call you a convicted liar anyway every chance
- 12:43Speaker 1: they got not out on bail with hanging their calling.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, man. Now you know what man, this country, man,
- 12:54Speaker 1: we are so divided, we are so dead set on position,
- 13:00Speaker 1: power and money. I saw it today. I didn't watch
- 13:04Speaker 1: the whole testimony because I had things to do. Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 1: but but but I watched it yesterday what I couldn't
- 13:12Speaker 1: and I came home and watch the news, and it
- 13:15Speaker 1: was amazing, man, how this country operates. The Democrats asked
- 13:22Speaker 1: him every question they could about Trump. All every Republican
- 13:27Speaker 1: had but one job to call him repeatedly a liar
- 13:32Speaker 1: in every kind of way to go. You're a pathological liar,
- 13:35Speaker 1: so you don't know the truth from a lie. Wait
- 13:37Speaker 1: a minute, Okay, cool, But can are you gonna ask
- 13:41Speaker 1: him anything about Trump? No? No, not one Republican asked
- 13:48Speaker 1: him anything that would have given him the opportunity to
- 13:53Speaker 1: say anything disparaging about Donald Trump. It was sick to watch. Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 1: it was. Yeah, they should been at the oscars. The
- 14:02Speaker 1: best lead into Drayeah. There was no searching for the
- 14:12Speaker 1: truth from them. And what did Cohen have to lose.
- 14:16Speaker 1: He's like he said, He repeatedly said, I'm going to jail.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I've answered to these accusations. He knows that he you know,
- 14:24Speaker 1: he perjured himself. All right, coming up at thirty two
- 14:26Speaker 1: after the hour, we're gonna do, asked Steve, part two,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and then we have a Yeah, then we have get ready, Steve.

- 15:03Speaker 1: the President is a con man. Don't worry, We're gonna

- 20:26Speaker 1: up in the middle of it because I'm grown, but
- 20:28Speaker 1: I dreamed I was a year nate outside. Got to
- 20:32Speaker 1: get up. I got it right away, because that's when
- 20:35Speaker 1: I was little. I didn't get up. Go ahead and
- 20:38Speaker 1: go ahead and everything that was pretty good. All right,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I got one. I got one. Let's see what annoy
- 20:50Speaker 1: do you? Harvey? What really annoys me is people who
- 20:56Speaker 1: don't know what they're talking about, but they comment on it.

- 22:04Speaker 1: and Jackie Jackson, they're gonna talk to Gail King or
- 22:08Speaker 1: they did talk to Gayle King about the controversial Leaving
- 22:11Speaker 1: Neverland documentary. Plus in National News, President's former lawyer Michael
- 22:16Speaker 1: Cohen's public testimony yesterday, Cohen said the president is a
- 22:20Speaker 1: con man, a cheat, and he lied about hush money
- 22:24Speaker 1: and knew about stolen emails. We'll get into that, but
- 22:28Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here, so we can get

- 22:42Speaker 1: Side job cleaning talk. Jarvis is Robbie. How can I
- 22:50Speaker 1: help you? Robbie, I'm trying to get a order in
- 22:53Speaker 1: for some construction supplies I need to pick up. That's fine.
- 22:57Speaker 1: What's your what's your company? Uh? Roof and company, roof
- 23:01Speaker 1: and coming here? Okay, have we have we've done listening
- 23:03Speaker 1: to needs before? No, no, you have. This is my
- 23:05Speaker 1: first time called. I heard you guys were pretty good.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I appreciate the compliment. Okay, I know. Listen, Uh, I
- 23:11Speaker 1: need to get this as soon as possible. Man, Can
- 23:13Speaker 1: I possibly pick up these supplies like in the next
- 23:15Speaker 1: couple of hours? Uh? Well, you know, normally don't work
- 23:18Speaker 1: that fast kind of a quick turnaround. We got a
- 23:19Speaker 1: little bit of a backup. But I can. I can
- 23:21Speaker 1: get my bastics. Depends on what you need. Okay, here's
- 23:24Speaker 1: here's what I need. Man, I need five rolls of
- 23:27Speaker 1: duct tape. Okay, that's no problem, that's quick. Okay, I
- 23:30Speaker 1: need plastic. Man, Listen, if you was gonna wrap up
- 23:34Speaker 1: something in plastic that's like about uh six foot two
- 23:38Speaker 1: in height and two hundred pounds, how much plastic you
- 23:41Speaker 1: think I would need to wrap to wrap that up?
- 23:43Speaker 1: In this second? You're you're asking for plastic, like a
- 23:46Speaker 1: roll of plastics. Yeah, but I'm telling I need to
- 23:48Speaker 1: wrap up something that six foot two and like two
- 23:50Speaker 1: hundred and ten pounds, I probably wouldn't get about three
- 23:54Speaker 1: yards four yards of plastic. Okay, okay, I need to
- 23:57Speaker 1: get that. Then let me ask you this here. If
- 24:00Speaker 1: you was gonna try to put some seement on that
- 24:02Speaker 1: to hold it down, how much seamens you think I
- 24:04Speaker 1: hold that down? I'm more confused. You you're running the
- 24:07Speaker 1: roofing company, right, Yeah, I'm a roofer company, but I'm
- 24:10Speaker 1: doing a little side work for some friends of mine.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, I just got a little confused because
- 24:14Speaker 1: you told me it's a taliss and company. No problem,
- 24:16Speaker 1: no problem. We've got some man, Lenny. You're you're you're
- 24:19Speaker 1: trying to hold something. I'm trying to I'm trying to
- 24:21Speaker 1: hold something down. So how many bags of see me?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Do you think I need to hold out something that's
- 24:26Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty pounds? Wow? I don't know. Eight bags?
- 24:32Speaker 1: Eight bags? Eight bags? Bags that would recommend at least Okay, okay,
- 24:35Speaker 1: give me eight bags and seamen. Now just something else.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I want to ask you. Do you have anything any
- 24:40Speaker 1: type of cleaner man that can get that can get blood?
- 24:43Speaker 1: I mean a paint off the floor. Yeah, we got
- 24:45Speaker 1: industrial cleaners, all kind of industrial cleans. He said, paint
- 24:49Speaker 1: the paint of blood. U paint pray, pray. Oh okay, yeah,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I mean I got industrial cleans all kind and you
- 24:56Speaker 1: have the preference. No, just whatever you could throw in there.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I need that. Now, let me ask you to see here,
- 25:00Speaker 1: do you have anything that can like just kill a smell.
- 25:04Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. If you know, if you
- 25:05Speaker 1: don't want something to smell, you got anything for that? Man?
- 25:08Speaker 1: Something something something die in your place? Is this? Is
- 25:11Speaker 1: this something? Something? Did you like? Yeah, there an animal
- 25:14Speaker 1: or something you found? I mean, I'm kind of confused.
- 25:16Speaker 1: You're talking about smell and cleaning up. Did you find
- 25:17Speaker 1: some sort of animal on a construction? A rabbi? Listen, man,
- 25:21Speaker 1: just take the harder. That's all I need you to do. Okay, Okay, No,
- 25:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I wasn't asking your business. I just it
- 25:27Speaker 1: was a little concerned. What are we getting? What are
- 25:28Speaker 1: we cleaning up? And what do we I mean I
- 25:30Speaker 1: guess that are we clean up a pile for to
- 25:33Speaker 1: clean up carpet? I mean, what's the what's the cleaner form?
- 25:35Speaker 1: What's get? What? Where's the odor? Sir? All, I'm asking you,
- 25:38Speaker 1: do you have something strong enough? Like do you think
- 25:41Speaker 1: ammonia can can keep a smell down? What do I
- 25:43Speaker 1: need to keep a smell down? You're definitely gonna need ammonia.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I mean, you gotta get something to just scrub that
- 25:48Speaker 1: right down. Because whatever that sense is, if it's in
- 25:51Speaker 1: your if it's in the walls. If you got fabrics
- 25:53Speaker 1: in that place, I mean, whatever, whatever you got it,
- 25:55Speaker 1: you probably have a different type of the otorize or
- 25:57Speaker 1: something for the carpet, something for the walls. I mean,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I don't. I guess, I guess it's kind of confused
- 26:02Speaker 1: as to where the sense coming from. And don't worry
- 26:06Speaker 1: about all that, man, Hey man, listen, just just right down.
- 26:09Speaker 1: What the order is. Okay, I got it you. I
- 26:12Speaker 1: got the five hold of duck tape, I got to go.
- 26:14Speaker 1: That's the full yards of plastic at the eight back
- 26:15Speaker 1: of cement. I got the industrial clean, I got the ammonia.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'm i'm, I'm, I'm typing it all in. I got
- 26:19Speaker 1: I've got your order. Okay, man, Do y'all have any
- 26:23Speaker 1: type of machete, anything that's real sharp that can cut what? Oh? Okay,
- 26:28Speaker 1: hold on a second, and now now you're completely off base.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You do realize you call the hardware store, right, I'm
- 26:33Speaker 1: calling the hardware store because I need some supplies. Man,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'm doing the job on the side. I need some supplies.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I get there. You you said there already, But I'm
- 26:40Speaker 1: confused about it. Now you're asking for a weapon. What
- 26:42Speaker 1: what what would you use the machete for. I mean
- 26:44Speaker 1: that you're you're talking about what you're gonna chop down
- 26:47Speaker 1: some some some brush. I don't, I don't, I don't
- 26:49Speaker 1: get it. What's the machetti for? Hey? Man, listen, listen.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Your job is to take the order, man, that's your job. Robbie,
- 26:55Speaker 1: don't tell me what my job is. I know what
- 26:57Speaker 1: my job is. This is my store, man, Okay. I've
- 27:00Speaker 1: been working here a lot longer than you even can imatchine,
- 27:03Speaker 1: And people don't call up asking for ammonia and and
- 27:07Speaker 1: cleaner and and trying to get a smell out. I
- 27:09Speaker 1: mean what I just I'm trying to think about how
- 27:11Speaker 1: best to help you. I'm sorry you're doing. Robbie. Is
- 27:14Speaker 1: you be a nosy? You be a nosy? All you
- 27:16Speaker 1: gotta do is field the order and haven't haven't done
- 27:19Speaker 1: in two hours when I get there. That's all you
- 27:21Speaker 1: gotta do. I can't do that in two hours. I
- 27:24Speaker 1: can't even I go back duck. At this point, I'm
- 27:27Speaker 1: not even sure I can get this done. Maybe tomorrow morning,
- 27:29Speaker 1: just tomorrow morning, were four year Oh man. I got
- 27:31Speaker 1: to get rid of this body. I got to get
- 27:33Speaker 1: rid of this today whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I
- 27:38Speaker 1: need to call Listen, I need to call the policeman.
- 27:40Speaker 1: You just hit bodies really right there. That's about white
- 27:45Speaker 1: people always want to call the police when it ain't
- 27:47Speaker 1: got nothing to do with them. Listen. All you need
- 27:50Speaker 1: to do is field to order. Okay, Okay, you're listen.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I need to tell you something. Okay, And I don't
- 27:57Speaker 1: know if you if you found a body, I don't
- 27:59Speaker 1: know if to respond awful from the body even a way.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I don't want to be any part of this business, Okay.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I don't know why you're planning or where you're trying
- 28:05Speaker 1: to bury this thing, but you're basically asking me to
- 28:07Speaker 1: be a coplice to something that's none of my business. Hey,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I need your name right now. Okay, what am I
- 28:13Speaker 1: giving you my name? You said all those roofing Hey, hey,
- 28:17Speaker 1: listen to me. You said your call from roofing company.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Are you I'm not? I'm not, Hey, man, let me
- 28:22Speaker 1: tell you something. Why are your wife folks always trying
- 28:24Speaker 1: to be a bar? Tell you like that? Why are
- 28:26Speaker 1: you are away acting like? Why are you folks? What
- 28:28Speaker 1: your problem? Something about wife folks talking about purple green, black,
- 28:32Speaker 1: blue woman. You're talking about why it's about you're asking
- 28:34Speaker 1: for that sounds but trying to bury your body. Okay,
- 28:37Speaker 1: that's what I'm trying to figure out. Are you? And
- 28:38Speaker 1: if you're not? What is your name? I need your name?
- 28:40Speaker 1: I'm your name right now? Hey man, Well, first of all,
- 28:43Speaker 1: you at work, you're not. You can't unfore will be
- 28:45Speaker 1: talking to me like this. I don't care if I'm
- 28:47Speaker 1: swearing at work. My co workers, the people here, they
- 28:50Speaker 1: all know who I am. And I know if I
- 28:52Speaker 1: was talking to someone you, I'd be talking like this too. Okay,
- 28:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna trace this call. Do you hear me? I'm
- 28:57Speaker 1: gonna trace this call. I'm gonna get the cops on
- 28:59Speaker 1: your ands thinking of who the you are? Okay, okay,
- 29:02Speaker 1: well let me let me ask you this. Since you
- 29:04Speaker 1: want to know who I am? Do you know Marcus?
- 29:06Speaker 1: I do Marcus. No, Marcus, he works here, man, I'm
- 29:11Speaker 1: not knowing him. Okay, Marcus is who got me to
- 29:14Speaker 1: call you? This is nephew Timmy from the Steve Alby
- 29:17Speaker 1: Morning Show. Robbie. You just got pranked by your co worker, Marcus.
- 29:24Speaker 1: You have got to be kidding me. Marcus Marcus. I
- 29:29Speaker 1: see you over there. I see you. I can't believe that.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Who son of a Marcus. Why don't you tell me this,
- 29:39Speaker 1: your baby? I gotta ask you, Robber, you gotta tell
- 29:42Speaker 1: me this man. What is the baddest and I mean
- 29:44Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. That's easy, Steve
- 29:48Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Okay much always all right, listen and
- 30:00Speaker 1: we're moving on from that. Coming up at the top
- 30:02Speaker 1: of the hour, entertainment news, Marlin and Jackie Jackson respond
- 30:05Speaker 1: to the Leaving Neverland documentary, and in national news Michael
- 30:09Speaker 1: Cohen's testimony on Capitol Hill yesterday. All that coming up
- 30:13Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to this day show. Marlin
- 30:19Speaker 1: and Jackie Jackson spoke with Gayle King on CBS this
- 30:23Speaker 1: morning and responded to the controversial Leaving Neverland documentary. Both
- 30:28Speaker 1: Marlin and Jackie Jackson stressed that Michael had only good
- 30:32Speaker 1: intentions when he had young boys share his bed. Marlin
- 30:37Speaker 1: says the public drew the wrong conclusions from Michael having
- 30:39Speaker 1: children sleepover at Neverland. Take a listen, but when you
- 30:43Speaker 1: phrase that, you know, sharing his young kids having they
- 30:47Speaker 1: have sleepo camp out and just you know, everybody in
- 30:50Speaker 1: the bed and asleep. His kids were their Tarzan were
- 30:53Speaker 1: Lulu at the time, and they all fall asleep in
- 30:55Speaker 1: the bed and watching movies. And so you can twist
- 30:58Speaker 1: it saying sharing his bid it, Yes, but it makes
- 31:01Speaker 1: you think something new, you know, man, I think this documentary, man,
- 31:07Speaker 1: it's really just a disgrace to discredit to this guy.
- 31:10Speaker 1: They waited all these years. Then people could have came
- 31:12Speaker 1: forward before, but it would have had it would have
- 31:15Speaker 1: had to prove and and and show documentation and stuff
- 31:19Speaker 1: like that. I knew him really really well. Man, Yeah
- 31:22Speaker 1: you did. That's not what that man was about. But
- 31:26Speaker 1: this guy, the one, the Robson guy, he said before
- 31:32Speaker 1: that Michael did nothing to him. And now in this league.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeahs Wade Robson. Yeah that's name. Knew that last name.
- 31:40Speaker 1: But yeah, at first initially he said Michael didn't do anything.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Are you talking about the one whose father was a dentist? No,
- 31:47Speaker 1: not him, Okay, because he can't. He discredited all of it. Yeah,
- 31:52Speaker 1: he came out and discredited and said he was sorry
- 31:55Speaker 1: and apologize. That was a thing going on. Now they
- 31:58Speaker 1: come out with this documentary trying to make some money
- 32:01Speaker 1: after this man din pass this right here. They they
- 32:05Speaker 1: trumping up charges on this one. That all right, Let's
- 32:08Speaker 1: let's hear what Jackie Jackson said Steve. He said that
- 32:10Speaker 1: Michael had the right intentions when he had kids stay
- 32:13Speaker 1: over at never Land. Check it out. When we grew
- 32:15Speaker 1: up coming out traveling on the road. We was older
- 32:18Speaker 1: Mullin and Michael much younger. It never had a regular
- 32:21Speaker 1: childhood life. Michael always had been a kid at heart.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Always he loved Disneyland. He loved those so he tried
- 32:28Speaker 1: to create that world himself. He loved that world. He
- 32:31Speaker 1: loved making kids happy. Okay, these are his brothers. I
- 32:36Speaker 1: can attest to that. I've been. He invited me down
- 32:39Speaker 1: to watch him shoot to Rock my World video. I
- 32:44Speaker 1: remember that, Steve, and man, his whole trailer was Disney
- 32:47Speaker 1: when his kids. I remember, I sat on the mushroom,
- 32:50Speaker 1: stood in the tree. You. I'm my big ass sitting
- 32:54Speaker 1: up on this mushroom stood and them two little kids
- 32:57Speaker 1: walked ran through, and Michael little isn't here dressed like
- 33:01Speaker 1: handling Gretta. But what is happening at those are my children?
- 33:10Speaker 1: I said, man him, sorry, I hadn't seen no man,
- 33:16Speaker 1: I say, man, what are you little white kid. He
- 33:19Speaker 1: running through that. Oh man, I've seen this dude. Man,
- 33:26Speaker 1: I watched this guy. Man I went to when I
- 33:30Speaker 1: when I took him to church. Oh yeah, down there
- 33:35Speaker 1: at a Chip Mary's church and I went to pick
- 33:38Speaker 1: him up. He had bought out the top floor of
- 33:41Speaker 1: a hotel. The whole suite was turned into ducks and
- 33:45Speaker 1: swans on the wall. All this here because he was
- 33:48Speaker 1: tired of driving from from a Netherland. I've been around
- 33:53Speaker 1: the guy, man, I'm telling you, man, it's one of
- 33:55Speaker 1: the most brilliant, kind hearted this guys in the world. Man.
- 33:58Speaker 1: People took that his love of key. It's the wrong way,
- 34:01Speaker 1: you know, That's all. Yeah, and Oprah Steve is going
- 34:05Speaker 1: to interview his accusers, Michael's accusers, Wade Robinson and James
- 34:10Speaker 1: safe Chuck on her own network immediately after Monday Night's
- 34:13Speaker 1: conclusion of the documentary Leaving Neverland. All right, so now
- 34:17Speaker 1: it's time we're gonna move on, Steve. Time for headlines now,
- 34:20Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp, thanks guys, this is
- 34:24Speaker 1: and trip for the news. Well it's over President Trump
- 34:27Speaker 1: and North Korea. Is Kim John un really gotten to
- 34:29Speaker 1: the negotiations on d nuclearization yesterday. At one point the
- 34:33Speaker 1: North Korean leader supposedly expressing optimism about the summit's outcome,
- 34:36Speaker 1: but by the end of the day the White House
- 34:39Speaker 1: announced no agreement had been made. President said, well, sometimes
- 34:42Speaker 1: you have to walk away. Meanwhile, President Trump's longtime lawyer
- 34:46Speaker 1: and fixer, Michael Cohen was on Capitol Hill testifying before
- 34:50Speaker 1: the House Oversight and Reform Committee yesterday. Cohen accused the
- 34:53Speaker 1: President of engaging in an expansive pattern of lies and criminality.
- 34:57Speaker 1: He said that Trump lied to the public about business
- 34:59Speaker 1: inter in Russia, about stolen democratic emails, and he told
- 35:03Speaker 1: California represent a Jackie Spire that he was instructed to
- 35:06Speaker 1: lie and also threatened people a lot. How many times
- 35:10Speaker 1: did mister Trump ask you to threaten an individual or
- 35:14Speaker 1: entity on his behalf? Quite a few times, fifty times more,
- 35:18Speaker 1: a hundred times more, two hundred times more, five hundred
- 35:22Speaker 1: times probably over the ten years, over the ten years.
- 35:26Speaker 1: And when you say threatened to him with litigation or
- 35:29Speaker 1: an argument with a nasty reporter that is writing an
- 35:34Speaker 1: article about mister Trump, Michael Cohens said, quote, he is
- 35:37Speaker 1: a racist, he is a con man, he is a cheat.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Michael Collins pled guilty to lying under oath to Congress.
- 35:43Speaker 1: He says he did so to protect the president, but
- 35:45Speaker 1: he says, quote, I am not protecting mister Trump anymore.
- 35:48Speaker 1: When asked about direct collusion though, between the Trump campaign
- 35:52Speaker 1: and Russia for the campaign against a Hillary Clinton, he
- 35:55Speaker 1: said he didn't have any evidence of it. Coins to
- 35:57Speaker 1: appear before the House Intelligence Committee later on today, but
- 36:00Speaker 1: that one's going to be a closed door hearing. The
- 36:03Speaker 1: newly Democratic control of House Representatives vote yesterday to acquire
- 36:06Speaker 1: background checks and all firearms sales and transfers, including those
- 36:10Speaker 1: online and at gun shows, and the House also expected
- 36:13Speaker 1: to consider a measure that would extend the review period
- 36:16Speaker 1: for background checks from three to ten years. However, neither
- 36:21Speaker 1: new gun measure is expected to be approved by either
- 36:23Speaker 1: the Senate, which is controlled by Republicans, or the Republican President,
- 36:26Speaker 1: mister Trump. Here's another story from the state that brought
- 36:30Speaker 1: you Stand Your Ground and George Zimmerman. This time at Lakeland, Florida,
- 36:33Speaker 1: cops arrested an eleven year old little black boy who
- 36:36Speaker 1: argued with a substitute teacher who tried to make him
- 36:39Speaker 1: recite the pledge of allegiance the sixth grades said he
- 36:42Speaker 1: wouldn't because he said both the flag and the pledge
- 36:44Speaker 1: of allegiance were racist. However, Anna Alvarez wouldn't let up.
- 36:48Speaker 1: She called the police, who took the child to a
- 36:50Speaker 1: juvenile detention center. School officials suspended the child for three days. Again.
- 36:54Speaker 1: This child is eleven years old. His mother is demanding
- 36:57Speaker 1: at the charges against his son be dropped. It turns
- 36:59Speaker 1: out that the substitute, Anna Alvarez, was wrong. A spokesperson
- 37:03Speaker 1: for the school dishes says students are not required to
- 37:05Speaker 1: participate in the pledge. In fact, the Supreme Court rule
- 37:08Speaker 1: in nineteen forty three the kids didn't have to do it.
- 37:10Speaker 1: She doesn't teach for that district anymore. This is a
- 37:13Speaker 1: trip back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:16Speaker 1: to the String Show. Michael Cohen's testimony in front of
- 37:21Speaker 1: the House to Oversight Committee was full of drama. Cohen
- 37:25Speaker 1: repeatedly accused President Trump of being a con man. He
- 37:28Speaker 1: accused him of being a cheat, and he said he
- 37:30Speaker 1: lied about hush money and knew about stolen emails. Cohen
- 37:35Speaker 1: also went into significant detail about how he handled payoffs
- 37:39Speaker 1: for Trump's alleged affairs with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Cohen had receipts in which mister Trump signed a thirty
- 37:46Speaker 1: five thousand dollars check for hush money reimbursement, and he
- 37:50Speaker 1: also suggested that negotiations for a Trump property in Russia
- 37:54Speaker 1: extended well into the two thousand and sixteen campaign and
- 37:58Speaker 1: even after Trump became president. So why did Michael Cohen
- 38:01Speaker 1: lie to Congress before take a listen? The lies that
- 38:05Speaker 1: I told to Congress benefited mister Trump. It was in
- 38:10Speaker 1: furtherance of my protection of mister Trump. And I am
- 38:13Speaker 1: not protecting mister Trump anymore. Wow. Ok, Yeah, So now
- 38:18Speaker 1: he's telling to drop then and he's going to prison.
- 38:21Speaker 1: It makes sense, it does, It makes sense. Michael Cohen
- 38:24Speaker 1: said his loyalty to the president cost him everything. He's
- 38:29Speaker 1: been disbarred, to jail, he lost at all. Yeah, you know,
- 38:34Speaker 1: his family's been threatened, he said. He said he can't
- 38:37Speaker 1: even walk out in public with his family. Now his
- 38:39Speaker 1: family has to walk ahead of him. I mean, just
- 38:42Speaker 1: his life has been turned upside down. I mean, you know, yeah,
- 38:45Speaker 1: he committed a crime, for sure. You no, look, all
- 38:47Speaker 1: of these Republicans. That's steady trying to discredit him and
- 38:52Speaker 1: call him a liar. These are the same people, the
- 38:56Speaker 1: exact same body. Senate hearings that interviewed mobsters who had
- 39:02Speaker 1: committed far words crimes to Michael Cohen, who had murdered people,
- 39:08Speaker 1: kidnapped people, mutilated people, and they took their word to
- 39:13Speaker 1: get at the bigger fish, slash kind crime boss. They
- 39:18Speaker 1: took all the oh yeah, because that's how you bring
- 39:22Speaker 1: down the bigger fish with informants. You you may drug boys,
- 39:27Speaker 1: flip so you can get to the cartail members. That's
- 39:31Speaker 1: how it's done. Now, all of a sudden, they don't
- 39:35Speaker 1: want to hear from you because you told some lies
- 39:37Speaker 1: about your personal finances and stuff. A man, if somebody
- 39:41Speaker 1: came to me and says, Steve, you Finn to go
- 39:43Speaker 1: to jail. Did you take the money? Hell? Now, you
- 39:46Speaker 1: take no money? Right, that's the first line I'm finn
- 39:48Speaker 1: to tail. And not only Gus Steve Michael Cohen has
- 39:51Speaker 1: known the president for over ten years. Could all these
- 39:55Speaker 1: people be going to jail around the president? Hell no,
- 39:58Speaker 1: damn thought ye work for him all right? Coming up
- 40:07Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour, guys, more on politics and
- 40:10Speaker 1: Michael Cohen's testimony. Right after this, you're listening to this
- 40:14Speaker 1: Dave Harvey Morning Show, Michael Cohen, the president's former personal lawyer,
- 40:19Speaker 1: testified before the House Oversight Committee on Capitol Hill. He's
- 40:23Speaker 1: been convicted for previously lying to Congress as part of
- 40:26Speaker 1: an investigation into Russia's alleged involvement in the twenty sixteen election.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Republicans have repeatedly questioned Cohen's credibility and suggested his only
- 40:37Speaker 1: reason for agreeing to testify is to help himself. Michael
- 40:41Speaker 1: Cohen warned the GOP slash Republicans not to protect the president.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Take a listen. I did the same thing that you're
- 40:49Speaker 1: doing now for ten years. I protected mister Trump for
- 40:54Speaker 1: ten years. And I can only warn people. The more
- 40:58Speaker 1: people that follow mister Trump as I did blindly are
- 41:03Speaker 1: going to suffer the same consequences that I'm suffering. And
- 41:06Speaker 1: when mister Trump turned around early in the campaign and
- 41:10Speaker 1: said I can shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and get
- 41:13Speaker 1: away with it, I want to be very clear. He's
- 41:17Speaker 1: not joking. He's telling you the truth. He said, you
- 41:20Speaker 1: don't know him. I do. I sat next to this
- 41:24Speaker 1: man for ten years and I watched his back. Everybody's
- 41:28Speaker 1: job at the Trump organization is to protect mister Trump
- 41:34Speaker 1: every day. Most of us knew we were coming in
- 41:37Speaker 1: and we were going to lie for him on something,
- 41:40Speaker 1: and that became the norm. And that's exactly what's happening
- 41:44Speaker 1: right now in this country, and it's exactly what's happening
- 41:47Speaker 1: here in government. Sir. Wow, boom okay, Oh it was
- 41:54Speaker 1: so good. It was so good. Yeah, yeah, I believe everything, everything,
- 41:59Speaker 1: because why would he lie now? He has nothing to lose. Yes,
- 42:03Speaker 1: he's already going to prison. Yea. I wish Trump had
- 42:07Speaker 1: to sit in there while all this was going on.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Oh you know, he planned to be out of the country. Now,
- 42:11Speaker 1: hey man, I'm telling you this guy. If you don't
- 42:14Speaker 1: think that all of this is orchestrated, if you don't
- 42:18Speaker 1: think his team they knew for a month that this
- 42:24Speaker 1: was his testimonial thing. Yeah yeah, Steve right. They put
- 42:28Speaker 1: this summit together within the last thirty days. I'm omingient, Yah,
- 42:33Speaker 1: let's go over here and try to do something good
- 42:35Speaker 1: to distract from his testimony. If you don't think that
- 42:38Speaker 1: that that they're that cunning, you don't understand how these
- 42:42Speaker 1: people are who have money, man, And I'm telling you, man,
- 42:46Speaker 1: Jesus and Steve, you're so right. I was kind of
- 42:49Speaker 1: mad at the Democrats though, because I just didn't feel
- 42:52Speaker 1: like they were going for the juggular, like yeah, I
- 42:57Speaker 1: just you know, because yeah, it's a fun I mean,
- 43:00Speaker 1: this is a fight. Let's go, let's let's meet, you know.
- 43:08Speaker 1: But they were trying to get information. Reusicans were emotional
- 43:12Speaker 1: and just kept trying to defend the president. And that's
- 43:15Speaker 1: why Michael Cohen said what he said. Okay, you see
- 43:17Speaker 1: where your loyalty gonna get right, right, See what happened?
- 43:22Speaker 1: Cohen didn't Cohen say he would take a bullet for
- 43:24Speaker 1: the president. He did, Yeah, yeah, that's that's right. Or die,
- 43:33Speaker 1: that's right, or die. Right. I'm saying, let me tell
- 43:36Speaker 1: you something, my family. I'm taking bullets from my family. Oh, Tommy,
- 43:43Speaker 1: you better. But that's loyalty, though, I mean, that's loyalty
- 43:51Speaker 1: right there. And had lost everything because of his loyalty.
- 43:54Speaker 1: And who didn't show him the same loyalty? Who abandoned
- 43:58Speaker 1: what he's saying? Yeah? Yeah. And Cohen is due to
- 44:01Speaker 1: report to prison in May for his three year prison sentence. Yeah,
- 44:07Speaker 1: and he knows he's yeah. And I thought he was
- 44:11Speaker 1: really concerned about his family. I really felt that he
- 44:15Speaker 1: believed that very much concerned about Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely
- 44:21Speaker 1: his wife and kids. Yeah yeah, and he I could
- 44:24Speaker 1: you know, some people said he wasn't remorseful. I saw
- 44:27Speaker 1: remorse I did, you know at the end he's he's
- 44:33Speaker 1: you know, man, I know you probably. I don't know
- 44:35Speaker 1: how people are gonna tell I like to do, Yeah,
- 44:38Speaker 1: I like to do. I know how he can get
- 44:40Speaker 1: in that position doing his job, staying loyal. You know, man,
- 44:45Speaker 1: they play that game. The money game is like that, man,
- 44:47Speaker 1: don't them boys in that big money especially, that's what
- 44:51Speaker 1: he doing because he getting his money the order to deal.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Read that book, man hook Crook. Still, he don't care
- 44:57Speaker 1: how he get it right. It's not a moral guy.
- 45:00Speaker 1: It's not a moral guy at all. All right, we
- 45:03Speaker 1: gotta go Steve up next, it is the nephew with
- 45:06Speaker 1: the prank phone call coming up right after this you're
- 45:09Speaker 1: listening show, all right? Coming up at the top of
- 45:14Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry
- 45:17Speaker 1: letter for today's subject, My fiance is jealous of my
- 45:21Speaker 1: bro man. But right now, the nephew is here with
- 45:25Speaker 1: today's frank phone call. What do you have for us today?
- 45:28Speaker 1: Nef happening all over the coustry, Charlie is happening. We
- 45:33Speaker 1: gotta get some control on it, all right, This right
- 45:35Speaker 1: here is cough control. Cough control that. Yes, that all
- 45:43Speaker 1: day at work sick? Then you shouldn't be there, cough control.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Let's go Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach Carlo. Please, yeah,
- 45:54Speaker 1: speaking I call. It's Herschel James over human Resources. Are
- 46:00Speaker 1: you doing I'm good, I'm good. How are you doing today?
- 46:03Speaker 1: Not bad? Is it? Okay? I'm sorry? What is this
- 46:07Speaker 1: call about? Well? I got a complaint that's been sent
- 46:10Speaker 1: to us that we want to try to address and
- 46:12Speaker 1: see if we can handle this in a in an
- 46:15Speaker 1: orderly fashion. You've been over in the client services department
- 46:18Speaker 1: for what last three four years? Now almost five years? Okay,
- 46:24Speaker 1: we're getting some complaints Carla about you. I don't know
- 46:29Speaker 1: if you're sick, but you're you seem to be coughing
- 46:32Speaker 1: quite a bit, and there's people on that floor that
- 46:35Speaker 1: are starting to complain about it is. Do we need
- 46:39Speaker 1: to like give you some time off? Tell me what's
- 46:41Speaker 1: going on with you? Oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 46:43Speaker 1: there must be a mistake. I mean I had a
- 46:46Speaker 1: cold for a couple of days. That's sick. Yeah, I can't.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I can't imagine. Have you had a extension cost that's
- 46:55Speaker 1: been going on longer than a week or two? Have
- 46:57Speaker 1: you been coughing a lot? I don't. I don't count
- 47:01Speaker 1: when I how many times I coughed, you know, I
- 47:04Speaker 1: feel I don't. I don't really understand. Well, let me
- 47:09Speaker 1: let me, let me let me tell you what we're
- 47:10Speaker 1: gonna do, because you know you've been with a long time,
- 47:13Speaker 1: and and we understand that, you know, the weather has
- 47:16Speaker 1: been bananas, and you know, we want to make sure
- 47:19Speaker 1: that everybody's accommodated. Now, what we've come up with just
- 47:22Speaker 1: to try to accommodate everybody. We're gonna move you right now.
- 47:27Speaker 1: I know you on the fourth floor, So we're gonna
- 47:29Speaker 1: move you to the seventh floor in the next in
- 47:32Speaker 1: the next couple of weeks where and you know there's
- 47:35Speaker 1: that's kind of where um it's kind of like an
- 47:38Speaker 1: area where there's more coughing people up there. No no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 47:42Speaker 1: that won't be necessary. I'm I'm feeling much better I've
- 47:46Speaker 1: been at the same spot the entire time I've been
- 47:49Speaker 1: with the company. I don't need to be moved to
- 47:51Speaker 1: the seventh floor. I don't need to be moved for
- 47:54Speaker 1: any health reasons. I'm doing fine, I'm good. You don't
- 47:57Speaker 1: have to worry about that. Hey, hey, let's slow down
- 48:00Speaker 1: a mint of carlin um. And I understand where you're
- 48:04Speaker 1: coming from. I know what. You don't want to be
- 48:06Speaker 1: moved because you've been there and you're probably comfortable where
- 48:08Speaker 1: you are. But they're asking that you wear one of
- 48:12Speaker 1: the uh, you know, surgical mask for two weeks until
- 48:15Speaker 1: we get you up to the to the next show.

- 49:03Speaker 1: said anything said maybe a god bless you once when
- 49:06Speaker 1: I sneeze. I don't understand why any when we take
- 49:08Speaker 1: this human resources are you said, you guys want me
- 49:11Speaker 1: to wear a mask as of tomorrow, starting tomorrow tomorrow,
- 49:17Speaker 1: it'll be we'll have that at your cubical tomorrow. No, no,
- 49:21Speaker 1: that's not you guys can't just have me wearing a

- 49:37Speaker 1: people are coughing and nobody's gonna be complaining about you.
- 49:40Speaker 1: That doesn't sound very hygienic to me. You're gonna it's not.
- 49:43Speaker 1: It's but it's not hygienic of what's going on on
- 49:46Speaker 1: your floor, your coffee, and the people are being plaining.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Let me tell you something right now, I'm gonna appeal
- 49:51Speaker 1: this decision. I'm not going to those seventh floor. I'm

- 50:28Speaker 1: because I want to appeal the decision for you. Who
- 50:31Speaker 1: else can I talk to? Because this, this is, this
- 50:33Speaker 1: conversation is not this. We'll have this meeting next week.

- 50:46Speaker 1: to your days off. You can come out. I can't
- 50:48Speaker 1: talk to me anymore. You're not talking and not thinking
- 50:51Speaker 1: any stense. I can't talk to you. All right, you
- 50:54Speaker 1: can piss me off. This is not right. None of
- 50:57Speaker 1: this sounds legal right now. I need to talk to
- 50:59Speaker 1: somebody because because I can't right now. Do you want
- 51:02Speaker 1: to wear the surgical well, that is the way I'm
- 51:06Speaker 1: going to allow you to work tomorrow. No, I'm not

- 52:00Speaker 1: You don't put your hand over your mouth. You can't
- 52:03Speaker 1: hear you. Who'd you say? Tommy? There's no Tommy on
- 52:06Speaker 1: my floor. You have the wrong person, Like, no, I don't.
- 52:10Speaker 1: That's not complaining about you, Tommy. Is that it's you?
- 52:16Speaker 1: That doesn't make any sense because there is no Tommy
- 52:19Speaker 1: on my floor. I don't even know a Tommy. Do
- 52:21Speaker 1: you know a nephew Tommy from Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 52:25Speaker 1: Do you know him? Oh, Cola, you just got pranked
- 52:33Speaker 1: by your co worker DeVito. Baby, Oh my god, I'm

- 53:04Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land. Listen,
- 53:09Speaker 1: it's to Steve Harvey on this show. That's sure. You know,
- 53:14Speaker 1: we got a couple people on this show that need
- 53:17Speaker 1: a mask over their mouth, you know, with some call controllers.
- 53:23Speaker 1: I'm not Fenna say that because we got to work together,
- 53:26Speaker 1: but but you know we got some We got some
- 53:27Speaker 1: people need to be on the call control. We really
- 53:29Speaker 1: do it. I don't want to see it. I don't

- 54:51Speaker 1: your letter live on the air and they're always fundering.

- 54:58Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you sir. Subject,
- 55:02Speaker 1: my fiance is jealous of my bromance. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I've been engaged to my fiance for a year and
- 55:10Speaker 1: I love her dearly. When we met, I had a
- 55:14Speaker 1: lot of female friends, and I let those friendships die
- 55:17Speaker 1: down a bit out of respect for her. I remained
- 55:20Speaker 1: really close with my best friend though. He and I
- 55:22Speaker 1: have been friends since we were eleven years old and
- 55:25Speaker 1: we've been through a lot together. He lives in a
- 55:28Speaker 1: different state. So we talk and texts a lot. But
- 55:32Speaker 1: now that's a big problem for my fiance. She listens
- 55:35Speaker 1: to our conversations when he calls, she goes through my
- 55:39Speaker 1: phone and reads our text messages, and it's getting to
- 55:42Speaker 1: be too much. We don't have passcodes on our phone.
- 55:46Speaker 1: So the other day she read Texas between my best
- 55:49Speaker 1: friend and I and he said that he loved me.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I texted back, love you too, bro, because he was
- 55:55Speaker 1: going through a little situation at work. She commented on that,
- 55:58Speaker 1: but I left it off and told her to put
- 56:01Speaker 1: my phone down. Then he sent me a birthday card
- 56:04Speaker 1: and she read it and commented that she had never
- 56:07Speaker 1: seen a man send another man a birthday card. I
- 56:10Speaker 1: couldn't take it anymore, and I've went off. I told
- 56:13Speaker 1: her it was completely normal to have a bromance in
- 56:16Speaker 1: a brotherly type of way with a best friend. She
- 56:19Speaker 1: was not trying to hear it, and she demanded that
- 56:23Speaker 1: I end the friendship with him. She also does not
- 56:26Speaker 1: want him in our wedding as my best man to
- 56:29Speaker 1: avoid conflict with her. I haven't really addressed the situation yet.
- 56:33Speaker 1: She does not trust me at all, and I cannot
- 56:37Speaker 1: start a marriage off like this, she might have to
- 56:41Speaker 1: worry about me having a best she might not have
- 56:43Speaker 1: to worry about me having a best man. At this point,
- 56:46Speaker 1: what can I do to get this woman to stop
- 56:48Speaker 1: insulting me and let her know that making demands on
- 56:51Speaker 1: me is not cool? Please help? Wow? Yeah? Yeah? Well
- 57:00Speaker 1: oh there I go, coughing. Well she got issues, She's
- 57:05Speaker 1: got issues. Okay, that's how I see it. And please
- 57:08Speaker 1: know that if she's this possessive now, it's gonna only
- 57:11Speaker 1: get worse when you guys get married. This is who
- 57:14Speaker 1: she is. I mean, I don't think I'm just gonna
- 57:19Speaker 1: say it. I don't think you two are ready for
- 57:21Speaker 1: marriage just yet, because where is the trust you mentioned it?
- 57:25Speaker 1: She doesn't trust you? Where is it? I mean, she
- 57:27Speaker 1: doesn't like you talking to him, She doesn't like you
- 57:29Speaker 1: guys texting each other. He lives in another state. She
- 57:33Speaker 1: ear hustles when you're on the phone. She's judging your
- 57:36Speaker 1: friendship or as you call it, a romance, and now
- 57:40Speaker 1: she's trying to stop him or she's demanded that he
- 57:44Speaker 1: not be your best man in your wedding. I mean,
- 57:48Speaker 1: you know, I mean, I'll be honest with you. I
- 57:50Speaker 1: don't know a lot of guys who send each other
- 57:53Speaker 1: birthday cards. But I do know guys who would he
- 57:56Speaker 1: would wish each other happy birthday. So I don't see
- 58:00Speaker 1: anything wrong with this. She can't demand he not be
- 58:03Speaker 1: your best man. That's not her call, it's yours. I mean,
- 58:06Speaker 1: I don't know how old you are, but you guys
- 58:08Speaker 1: have been best friends since you were eleven years old.
- 58:11Speaker 1: He probably is like a brother to you, and a
- 58:15Speaker 1: brother to whom you can say I love you too, bro.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I think you, guys, you and your fiance need to
- 58:20Speaker 1: get in some sort of marriage counseling, a SAP, because
- 58:24Speaker 1: if you don't and go ahead and tie the knot
- 58:26Speaker 1: and get married, I don't think the situation is gonna
- 58:29Speaker 1: work work because she clearly has a problem with your BFF.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Clearly she does, Steve. No, this is a huge disaster
- 58:39Speaker 1: that I'm reading right here. This is really really bad,
- 58:43Speaker 1: and I mean it's bad on so many levels. First
- 58:46Speaker 1: of all, we're not talking about a female friend, right,
- 58:49Speaker 1: We're talking about a guy for you now. She was
- 58:53Speaker 1: Obviously she's a jealous type to begin with. So the
- 58:56Speaker 1: man ended all his female relationships. Let him die that
- 59:00Speaker 1: he got rid of all the females. But he didn't
- 59:03Speaker 1: had this boy in his life, his partner since they
- 59:06Speaker 1: was eleven, and they haven't been through a lot together.
- 59:09Speaker 1: He lived in a different states, so we talk in
- 59:11Speaker 1: text a lot. He out of state. Damn. So they
- 59:15Speaker 1: talk in text a lot, and that's a big problem
- 59:18Speaker 1: for the fiance. She listened in on the phone calls.
- 59:23Speaker 1: She go through your phone, read the text. We don't
- 59:26Speaker 1: have pass codes on the phone. So the other day
- 59:28Speaker 1: she read text between me and my best friend and
- 59:31Speaker 1: he said that he loved me. I text, I love
- 59:33Speaker 1: you too. Brother. The other day I told Ricky Spade,
- 59:38Speaker 1: I loved in a text. Doc. I've been knowing this dude.
- 59:44Speaker 1: We was lying brothers. We played together, Doc, I do
- 59:47Speaker 1: love him. Man, This dude was up in some real situations.
- 59:53Speaker 1: So then I got some friends that we've been friends
- 59:56Speaker 1: with since we are four years old. We text each other.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: We sixty year old dude. Manny sixty three. Everybody else
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: is sixty two. We all the same age. We we've
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: been friends. Manny and Rick grew up in Pampas together.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: They've they've been on the block since they was babies.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: We moved down. The rest of us got in at
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: about folk. We've been on each other fifty eight years. Then,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: my dudes, we text all the time. We could. We
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: don't text every day, but we text all the time.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Then brothers call me and tell me I love you. Man,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I hear what they're saying about you. Don't worry about that.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: We know the truth. We love you, dark. You needed
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: to roll out there. Let us know now what I'll beginning.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: They love me and I loved them. It's nothing wrong
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: with that now, she commented. She commented on that, but
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: you laughed it off, toler to putting my phone down.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Then he sent me a birthday card and commented she'd
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: never seen a man seeing another man a birthday card. Well,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: I ain't setting nobody no damn card, right, But we
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: group text each other on everybody's birthday because when you
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: grow up together. The first one to become a teenager man,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: he came for a day. The first one to hit sixteen,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: he came for a day, the first one to hit eighteen,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: old lord, we've been in this contest our whole life.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: First one to hit twenty one, then after we twenty five.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Then we stopped after that because hell, ain't no my markers.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: So I don't understand. But we do send those little
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: those little Eve Birthday cards that explode when you open it.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: That's so cute, Steve, A little dude. Yeah, I didn't
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: send a shill. I just said I don't even know
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: how to do that when I hit a text and
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: explode like my boy. Butcher, now he knows how to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: send that didn't explode. We'll be joking with him. A man,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: you texting too, damn like a little girl. Now you
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to explode and balloons and stuff and we laugh. But
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: we all want that. Now. She got problem with that.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you the real problem when we
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: come back. She don't want this dude to be the
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: best man at the wedding. Oh lord, when we come back,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: we now have a major problem. Okay, all right, okay,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: all right. We'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the hours, Steve, subject, my
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: fiance is jealous of my bromance. We'll get into it
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Let's recap
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. Uh, my fiance is jealous of my bromance?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Is the subject? Lesson? Let me swallow this water first, Shirley,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: all right, okay, now, now the show is so real.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: This is the reality radio right here. This lady, it's
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: jealous of her fiance is relationship with his boy. But
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: she overly jealous though. Man, she don't like y'all talking.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: She don't like y'all texting. She reads y'all texting to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: dude live out of town. Damn, it ain't a girl. Now.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: If you question whether man gay or not, then just
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you that's what you're really trying to say. Let's just
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: be honest. Now, that ain't what the man saying. But damn, lady,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: you up on him like like, it's just like you.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: If you convinced about that and you don't want to
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: marry gay dude, then why are you lading? Just going
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: where you're going? If that's what you think he is.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: But he's telling you in so many words, he ain't.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Now this ain't about gay or not gay. I'm just
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: throwing out the other obvious option that I see in
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: this damn letter. But this woman, crazy man. You to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: cut off all your friends, You can't do a birthday card.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: And now he said I couldn't take it anymore. I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: went on. I told her it was completely normal to
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: have a bromance in a brotherly type of way with
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: a best friend. She wasn't trying to hear it. She
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: demanded that I end the friendship with him. Wait a minute, what, lady,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: that's crazy. And then you can't pick my friends, Mordred
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: can't pick my partners. Dog. I've been knowing these dudes.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I know when they come around they say some stuff
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: that ain't really that cool. I told you they were
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: gonna say when he came out here. I said, hey, baby, no,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: listen to me. These cats I come up with. Now
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: they're a little bit different. They still hood. They ain't
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: find to change, all right, Steve, Okay, Steve, but he
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: crazy though I told you that if he came out here.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: You know you're the same one I told not to
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: force me to go to my damn nice wedding, and
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: you made me take my ass up that to my
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: niece wedding. Now you didn't here telling about we got
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: to get out of here. Now we ain't find to
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: get out of here. We find to watch them all
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: this fiasco. Like I told you. Now you trying to
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: you got you. This man ain't fit to end this
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: relationship with his boy dog, and that's wrong of you
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: to ask, man, But to avoid conflict with her, I
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: ain't oh this. He also don't want him in our
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: wedding as my best man. That's crazy. Okay, that's crazy.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: So who gonna be his best man except his best man?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: You tell him you got it in the friendship and
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: he can't be in the wedding. Man, this ain't gonna
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: be much of a wedding for this dude. Now. To
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: avoid conflict, I ain't addressed the situation. She don't trust
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: me at all, and I can't start a marriage off
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: like this. I got news for you. You damn showcame
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: because let me tell you something. The only thing to
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: change is after you get married. And I've said this before.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: The preacher told this to me. It's the appearance of
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: your left hand third finger. So Pardoner, you marry this
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: girl if you want to. But you you fit to
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: be in an abyss brother dog. You're fitting to be.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: You fitting to be on the boat. And the cracking
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: gonna come about the water and you're the only one
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: he gonna snatch off the damn boat. Wow, you're going
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: down with this one right here. Man, I was talking
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: with the dude today. That's how he was married. Before
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: he described this marriage, he said he was married to
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: the cracking. He said, man, she just come up out
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: the water and snatch my hands. I said, damn wow,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: he said, man, it was like living in an abyss.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: And there's a scripture. I've asked Shirley just send it
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: to me before. But it goes to the tune something
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: like this. I'm not quoting it exactly, but new translation.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: But it is better to live on the corner of
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: a rooftop, of a of a It is better to
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: live on the corner of a rooftop and inside the
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: house with a crawl some water, Come on boy, that
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: roof on the hot roof, hot roof, thunderstorm and blizzard.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: It's better to be up there on the corner of
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: that roof, that inside the house with yeah, for real, man,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: than with a crail some roman. That's a scripture. You
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Finn walk into the hall fire boy, you Finn purgatory. Okay,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: so now she might not have to wear about me
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: having the best man. At this point, what can I
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: do to get this woman to stop insulting me and
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: let her know that making demands on me is not clue.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: It's past making the demands on me. She's telling who
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: your friends can be. She's telling me who your best
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: man is. She wants you to end a friendship. What
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: woman really wants her man to end a genuine friendship
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: when most women know how important it is to have
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: a good friend. The Bible says a friend is often
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: closer than even a brother. My boy, let me tell
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: you something, my boy, Greg Calhoun. Greg Calhoun was my dude. Man.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: He was closer to me than my brothers. That scripture
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: is true. So now you man, my wife loved Greg
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Calhoun because all of you saw what he was to me. Doc,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: I never saw nobody stupid for me like this man.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I ain't seen it. And now Marge Margine gonna say
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: get rid of grand because no, she said, whenever you're
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: going to play golf, take Grig with you because she
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: loved it, because she knew what he's stood for. He's
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: still for his family, his wife, his grandkids. You go,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: she heard him talk about me, She said, Steve, that
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: man love you, so I love him. What woman wants
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: her husband to get rid of a friend when they're
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: so hard to come back. Well, she didn't like the
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: fact that he said I love you too. Bro. Bro.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: You know how many times out of saying that, dog
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: my boy Big Blue called me and said I love
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: you man, I said I love you too. Now we
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: didn't say man, but we said it. We use another word,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: but you know it's close to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: it's yeah. They got major problems. Hey, man, this this
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: ain't saint. Oh, this ain't counsel. This walk out, Bro.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, get out of it. This
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: ain't counsel. No, I leave, you would just leave? Huh.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: This is the biggest warning shot you can get. You
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: fit man. Huh Man, you fiting walk into Helen you
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: we gotta go. Uh listen, Email us or instagram us
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey f M.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Coming up in ten minutes our girl from the Talk
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: to one in Them Lee Cheryl Underwood Proverbs twenty one
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: and nine. You're listening Steve Show. Coming up at the
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: top of the hour, Carla's reality Update. But right now,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Steve introduced that girl from the Talk sure Wood Steve
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: having man listen Chicago about the May history because a
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: black woman go the Mayne about to happen. Yeah, I
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: hate to say it, but the Daily Dynasty is over,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: you know, because the other brother didn't even make it
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: through the was the primary or whatever they'd be doing this.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: This is the most excited Charlotte Scribe Harris since we
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: elected mayor. You knew I was gonna say here. You
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: knew it. You knew it. And now we got we
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: gonna have two sisters gonna possibly be the man one
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: of them. I'm not gonna even gonna say which one.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I won't. I'm just excited that it has. And don't
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: y'all think that sisters is really showing themselves in politics,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: like that sister that rolled her eyes when old boy
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: was talking smack at the Cohen hearing and everything was
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: her named plastical, and she she wrote her eye like
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: you need to shut them. Thank god, the Democrats can
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: walk in you gum. Yeah, let me tell you something
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: to them. Well, I gotta give it an I'm a
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Republican and our side was whacked. Our side was going
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: alone to get along Old Michel. I was so embarrassed
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: for our party. I couldn't start talking to a statue
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: of Runner Reagan. I was so embarrassed. But the Democrats
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: was on fire. They ain't nobody asking nothing about what
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Trump done did and it's coming telling the truth. And
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: when the dude broke down that every mob case and
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: a rego case with you had to give everybody back.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: They stuff if they didn't have somebody to turn. That
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: was yeah, that dude, that that dude. They said that, Yes, yeah,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: it was good. I told you that, Steve. Yeah, but
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I didn't. But I said the same thing as more.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I didn't see that part, but that's what I was saying. Man,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: they tripped. That's what they said, the exact same thing.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: That man. That's that's that's it ain't. It's crazy, the
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: craziest something. But I didn't want me tell you what
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: else is crazy? What Dinnis Robins say he want to
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: help Trump get the no Bell problem. Turn my mic
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: off right now because I'm about to say to him
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: because he's over there with his friend Kim Jong and
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: they probably drinking that crown real straight, Because thin't that
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: what Kim Jong mess around and his ass gonna be
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: a hostitch, You keep your ass gonna be in a
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: prison somewhere messing around turning to a crazy ass man,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: that's that's what I'm talking about, for real, for real. Hey,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: wait a minute, let's talk a little entertainment. Well, I
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: guess the investigation ain't gonna really get Kelly the way
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: some people won't. But child support is close first, right,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: that's right, whatever it takes. Yeah, get a hundred and
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: seventy some thousand dollars first. I made it. They about
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: to get it. Child support. You can't escape, y'all. You
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: might be able to lawyer up around some things, but
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: you're not gonna be able to escape child supports. Ain't
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: anybody watching the Mask single? Yes, girl, how I got
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: it with reality update? Huh oh you do, yeah, I
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: guess you. I would just like to applaud myself timing
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: as juniors to me and one of the clues, remember
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: one time, Yeah they did, that's right, they sure did that.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: When you know you find he needs to be on
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: sing you know how I know Steve same time, because
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Steve used to be in the Hot Tower was the
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: coldest group and the sorry listen to me, come on
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: getting with me, you know what, Steve, Steve, you should
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: go on Cedric Show, the Neighborhood Music every un all right,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: that's he's having a moment. Why having a mom He
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: should go in the neighborhood, don't. Don't you think he's
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: gonna set the show the neighborhood and they reach the
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: show in the fall on the neighborhood. Yeah, that's that's
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: gonna be good. You know what I told I told,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I said, you need to fall asleep watching sad for
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: the song and let me play on ask him. You
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: know that would be But don't tell it. You're gonna
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: tell its college. You're gonna tell it what happened. Yes,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk about the winners of the mask in
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Reality of Date. Okay, that's gonna be good. I can't
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: say one thing. Yes, of course, Um, when Michael Jackson died,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: all the discussion is over for me. That's all I
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: got to say. That's why that's real. I'm going all

- 1:16:13Speaker 1: homework at to Wait huh are you doing something? Wait? Yeah,

- 1:16:57Speaker 1: all right, Tommy, Let's go get ready, y'all. She is here,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: call a phil reality update. Thank you, nephew. All right,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: here we go. Last night season finale of The Masked Singer.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: It's the reality show. It's a singing competition show hosted
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: by Nick Cannon. We love the show that I mean,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: everybody in the country is watching this singing competition show.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: So last night season finale, we learned the celebrity identity
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: of the last three singers, the Bee, the Monster, and
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: the pea cock. So in third place. So you know,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: the audience got to vote. The studio audience they got
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: to vote the ranking of the final three contestants. So
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: in third place. The bee came in third place. Who
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: do you think the bee was? Some people thought it
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: was Anita Bakers. It was a female. Some people thought
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: it was Anita Baker, some people thought it was what
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: did you say? He said, right, I don't know, He's
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: not right. The bee was Gladys night. Glad she looks
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: so good last night, And she said The reason why
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: she did the show was to reinvent herself, don't you know,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: just trying new things. So it was really really good.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: She's a legend. And all of the judgment contestants they
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: actually sing, Yes, these contestants, they're in their costumes and
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: they get to sing. It's over a twelve week period
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: and they're singing, and they're kind of competing against each
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: other and you don't know, Yeah, you don't know who
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: they are. You kind of think you know about their voices,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: and they give you clues, all right to second place.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: The peacock, Donny Osman was Donny Osman, Yes, he was
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: the peacock. And the winner, the monster, uh huh. A
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: lot of people. I thought it was Celo. Some people
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: thought it was Jamie Foxx. Okay, the monster. The winner
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: was t Payne. T Payne was the winner. He fooled everybody. Yes,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: and that was the thing. That's why he said he
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: was Steve Yes, he yes, he was singing the whole time.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: And he said the reason why he did the show
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: was because, you know, when he first came out on
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: the scene, the whole auto tunes and you know, the
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: voice box and things like that. So people didn't think
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: he could see me at all. So he turns out
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: to be a really good vocalist. So shout out to
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: tea pain. Yeah, yep, yep, yep, yep. So you know
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: some of the other contestants throughout the season. You know,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: the deer was Terry Bradshaw, of the unicorn was Tory Spelling.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: The alien was LaToya Jackson Junior. Uh. So the winner
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: receives bragging rights and then they get the gold gold,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: the Mass Trophy and so there, that's why we're telling
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: you to go on this show. Dog Steve, you would
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: kill Oh, you would be so good on his walk,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: be too cool. No no, no, no, no, you can.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: They could come up with something good like, uh, Tommy Chong,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: remember Cheech and Chong, he was the pineapple on the show.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: Antonio Brown from the Steelers, he was the hippo. So
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: they could come up with some great constumes for you, Steve.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: I think you would be so good on this show.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: You really you can keep that costume costume and do
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: what they had in that letter. We diddy the furries,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: name up the strawberries, the furry fetish. Yeah, I won't
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: be bringing that to my house. Yeah, but you would
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: have fun on this show, though, Doc, because you can
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: sing a little bit anyway. Yeah, you could sing and
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: they would be totally shocked. Yeah, folks would be totally shot.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: So anyway, and and sit down, sit out in your
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: costume and played a piano too. And then yeah, you
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: have to give him little hints throughout the season who
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: you are, and people can you know, they can kind
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: of guess, but you don't reveal yourself till the end
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: if you make it each round. Okay, Cleveland, really you
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: can say whatever like Gladdest Knight. One of her hints
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: was a peach you know what I means? Like him? No,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: like like uh Baker Mayfield. I don't know, so that Cleveland. No,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I got where you were going, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: All right, let's move on. So I got a question
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: for you guys. Let me break this down. Joe Button.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: He was mad at Safari because Safari didn't tell him
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: that Safari's current girlfriend is Eric Amina. Okay, now, Joe
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Button his baby mama, his current girlfriend is seeing. Do
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: you guys remember that Eric Amena and send used today?
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: I remember that I'm loving hip hop New York? All right,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: All right, So all of them, the whole crew, they
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: went on a trip. You know they're go on these trips, right, yes, yes,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: and you didn't argue that, right. So Joe Button, he
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: was upset and towards the end of the trip with
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Safari because he said he as Safari was Erica coming
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: on the trip. Joe said that Safari told him no,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: She's not coming on the trip. So now Joe is saying, yeah,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: but Safari, I'm looking on social media. I see pictures
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: of Erica chilling at the resort, even though the group
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: never actually saw Ericamna there. So Joe Joe was very upset.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: He was going in really really hard. You know, he
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: talks very passionate anyway, He's kind of in your face
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: when he talks anyway. So he was ready to fight
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Safari and all listen all that. So my question to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: the guys, the fellas, should do you think? And Safari's
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: point was, I ain't gonna tell you nothing. I ain't
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: gonna tell you. You know, Safari is a guy. Safari
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: is a guy. His current girlfriend is Eric Amena. Joe
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: Joe Button is dating Sin his baby mama. Sin and
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Eric Kamena had a relationship these two women have. Hey
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: have you heard that they're supposed to be married, that
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: they secretly got married Safari. Hey, yeah, I've heard that
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: too as well. Surely. So the question to the Fellas is,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: do you think Safari should have told Joe that his
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: girl Erica was coming as a heads up for Joe
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: and Sin they are friends though. That's that's how Joe
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: was upset, Yes, because he felt like if Nicki Minaj.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Joe was saying, because you know, Safari used to go
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: with Nicki Minaj, so if he don't. Yeah, but he
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: didn't know that she was bringing him on the trip
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: because he told him he wasn't at the time. That's
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: should you gotta hands up on? Yeah, that's just so
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you know I'm bringing Yeah, you gotta do. Yeah, I'm
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: bringing your girlfriend's ex girlfriend, which is my current girlfriend. Yes,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: that's that's crazy. Yeah, that is your girls ex girlfriend
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: who my girl now on a trip and all four
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: of are gonna be sitting around, look at trade. I
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: want to do this. I don't want to go out here.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: That's why she asked the guys. That's why I asked, y'all,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: all right, hit me up at LISB Carla, we can
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: talk about the socially, Shirley. We'll be back at twenty
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: after you're listening, all right, So, Carla, before we went
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: to break, we were talking about um Loving hip Hop
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: New York and Safari and Eric Amena, who are a
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: couple now and it's rumored that they're married. You were
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: talking about it in your reality updates. So and yeah,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: that's the guys a question, right, Charlotte asked the guys
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: the question so again to review Safari Eric Amena. They're
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: dating or we don't know if they're married, but on
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: the show they're dating Loving hip Hop New York. Now.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: Eric Amena used to go with Joe Button's current baby mama,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: his girlfriend or fiance or whatever her name was, her
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: saying okay like synthing, Oh okay, I thought you should
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: see Eric and used to they used today, Yeah they
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: had a relation of Joe Buttons is the other dude,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Yes he is since baby daddy. They passed yeah Joe
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: but yeah yes Erica and seeing you should should lay
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: around with each other used today there was today. I
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: said that. So they went on trip. I got the
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: word back, where are my woman going? You're going with
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: this other woman, and y'all go to what huh you
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: are going with? Huh this couple's massage and you ain't
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: fitting to do that, But you would do the same
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: thing with if it was a dude. Don't fit to
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: get in the same water? Yeah, crazy, and do what
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: you ain't going down? Excuse me, you're gonna shopping wear?
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: You can't leave the room. You ain't gonna shopping with
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: huh down that trying to clothe. I wish I would
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: look over there and see y'all the same fitting room. No,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: you're not that insecure that she can't even leave the
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: hotel but not go No, damn you mean you're going
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: to the bathroom? Bath room? Went there? But I am
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: with the guys, though, I think Safari should have told
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: you here y'all doing down there on that beat y'all
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: morning walking yeah, wucking yeah and talking yeah close to her.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: I saw y'all brush arm. But the issue was that
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: that Safari did not tell Joe that he changed his
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: mind about Erica coming what you're knocking saying off of
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: her fun stop yea, saying her ain't your business saying
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: on her. But craz felt like join his vacation watching y'all,
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: are you quite sitting up in here? We can't. We
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: can't get our room on the same flop. It's got
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: to be well, you gotta be on the opposite. They
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: were already there. She came later to join the groups
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: later because who is it? Who is who is that?
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: I be who I think it is? Oh, hey, Joe,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: what's that? Man? Joe? Baby? What's that? Man? Y'all are
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: stupid for to take shower for leader? Do wido? Maybe
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: back and see you? Okay? So far? I love to
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: go down and have a cigar with you, but I can't.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: Why you know, good hair? Where we can lead him
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: to a we mean smoke in the room. They're over.
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: That was fast. I don't care there as I've been
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: back to. All Right, you guys, get us together. They're
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Everything's fine, all right. Look, we'll
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: right after this. You guys are crazy, you're listening to show.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: Michael Cohen, the president's former personal lawyer, testified before the
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: House Oversight Committee on Capitol Hill. He's been convicted for
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: previously lying to Congress as part of an investigation into
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Russia's alleged involvement in the twenty sixteen A. Republicans have
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: repeatedly questioned Cohen's credibility and suggested his only reason for
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: agreeing to testify is to help himself. Michael Cohen warned
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: the GOP slash Republicans not to protect the president. Take
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: a lesson. I did the same thing that you're doing
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: now for ten years. I protected mister Trump for ten years.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: And I can only warn people. The more people that
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: follow mister Trump as I did blindly are going to
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: suffer the same consequences that I'm suffering. And when mister
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Trump turned around early in the campaign and said I
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: can shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and get away with it,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: I want to be very clear. He's not joking. He's
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: telling you the truth. He said, you don't know him.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: I do. I sat next to this man for ten years,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: and I watched his back. Everybody's job at the Trump
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: Organization is to protect mister Trump. Every day. Most of
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: us knew we were coming in and we were going
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: to lie for him on something, and that became the norm.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: And that's exactly what's happening right now in this country.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: And that's exactly what's happening here in government service. Wow boom,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: okay right here. Oh it was so good, It was
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: so good. Yeah, yeah, I believe everything. He's everything, because
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: why would he lie now he has nothing to lose. Yes,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: he's already going to prison. I wish Trump had to
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: sit in there while all this was going on. Oh
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: you know, he planned to be out of the country. Now, hey, man,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you this guy. If you don't think that
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: all of this is orchestrated, if you don't think his
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: team they knew for a month that this was his
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: testimonial day. Yeah yeah, Steve right, they put this summer
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: together within the last thirty days. I'm omnient. Yea, let's
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: go over here and try to do something good to
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: distract from his testimony. If you don't think that that
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: that they're that cunning, you don't understand how these people
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: are who have money, man, and Steve, you're so right.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: I was kind of mad at the Democrats though, because
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: I just didn't feel like they were going for the
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: juggular like they Yeah, I just you know, because yeah,
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: it's a fight. I mean, this is a fight. Let's go,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: let's let's meet the you don't want to now, you know.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: But they were trying to get informations, were emotional and
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: just kept trying to defend the president. And that's why
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: Michael Cohen said what he said. Okay, you see where
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: your loydy gonna get right? Right? See what happened? Cohen?
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: Didn't Cohen say he would take a bullet for the president.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: He did, Yeah, Yeah, that's ye. That's ride or die,
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: that's right or die? Right. I say, let me tell
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: you something, my family, I'm taking bullets from my family. Oh, Tommy,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: you better do better. But that's loyalty, though, I mean,
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: that's loyalty right here. And and lost everything because of
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: his loyalty, and who didn't show him the same loyalty,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: who abandoned it? Saying yeah, And Cohen is due to
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: report to prison in May for his three year prison sentence. Yeah,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: all right. Coming up next to our last break of
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: the morning, Steve Harvey's closing remarks, and we'll be right
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: back at forty nine after right after this, you're listening,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: all right, Here we go, last break of the day.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: This has been a good morning, A lot of stuff
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: to talk about this morning. Wow, that Michael Cohan testimony
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: and then he'll do another one. Yeah, he'll do another
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: one today, right, but this will be behind closed doors.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Yeah he's exhausted. Yeah, it has to be that seven. Yeah,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: with a grilling like he took from the Republic. But
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: but he was cold off. He had to staying together.
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: You know, he's a lawyer. To dude to dude, was strong.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: He was better than Kavanaugh, I tell you that. Yeah.
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: I actually liked to do he was believable and everything. Yeah.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: I would really think he picked up a lot of
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: fans after this. Yeah yeah, right, all right, we're ready
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: stayed for your closing remark. Well, you know, today, man,
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: is something that I was that was brought to my attention.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: I told you I do my morning meditation and this morning, man,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: I got up a little early and I was going
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: over some stuff and I was doing some reading. Uh
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: uh uh this Christian What am I saying that she,
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: this lady on the job, gave me as a Christmas gift?
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: Uh Like, yeah, this devotional and the name of the
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: book is Jesus Calling. You know. But when I talk
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: to people, I talk to people of all faiths. I'm
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: not trying to ram my belief down your throat. I
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: believe that God is real. I believe that there's one God.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: So you know, what you call him is your business,
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: but that's just my belief. There's one God. We serve
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: him in different ways, and it's not my judgment call
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: to make a call on anybody's way that they choose
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: to serve him. As long as you serve the true
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: and living God, that's all that matters to me. So
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: I'm talking to everybody. But one of the things I
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: was learning today, and I don't know if some of you, well,
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: yes you are, because we're all guilty of it. And
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: it's something that I learned that we all have to
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: stop judging and evaluating ourselves. I want you to understand
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: what I was reading this morning and learning that we
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: all got to stop judging and evaluating the salves because
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: that's not your role. Role is not to judge or
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: evaluate yourself. And I do it all the time, man,
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: but let me tell you what it does. And also,
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: not only are we not supposed to judge and evaluate ourselves,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: here's the big culprit. We should all stop comparing ourselves
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: to other people. That's a huge danger, man. And once
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: again I'm guilty of it too. This one was a
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: tough one for me to learn to not judge and
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: evaluate yourself because I was always taught to self evaluate
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: yourself so you learn or how to improve. But if
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: you self evaluate yourself to where it's a detriment to
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: you moving forward, you're doing yourself a disservice with your evaluation.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: Because in your evaluation, if you find yourself comparing yourself
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: to other people, what this does is when you compare
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: yourself to other people, check this out, it duce his
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: feelings of pride or inferiority. This is what I learned
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: this morning, because if you notice it, if you compare
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: yourself to people who, let's say, got more than you,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: are dressed better than you, and live in a better
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: neighborhood than you, and make more money than you, then
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: guess what. You sometimes produce a feeling of inferiority, and
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: you are not inferior to this person. But here's the
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: other one. If you compare yourself to somebody who has
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: less than you, you develop a sense of superiority, and
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: you ain't superior to nobody. Man, God knows what he's
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: trying to teach us. That's the cold part man, Like
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: I say, Look, I ain't no perfect Christian. I ain't
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: to do man, I'm just telling you real how I'm
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: trying to get better in my life, in my walk
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: as a human being on this planet while I'm while
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: I'm here, I'm just trying to I'm just trying to
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: better myself with the stuff that's coming my way. And
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: if I can share what you all what I'm learning, man,
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: then that's just my mission. Those of you that don't
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: accept it, I ain't ramming it down your throat, turn
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: your station, do you dog, go where you're going. I
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: ain't trying to be mean to you. I'm doing uplifting,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: empowering stuff. I ain't telling you to join in with
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: me and hate this or hate that. I'm saying these
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: are things we could do if we stop judging and
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: evaluating ourselves, and if we stop comparing ourselves to other people.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: Because guess what, God made you uniquely you you, He
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: Taylor made you. Everybody's different, your path, your walk, your
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: journey is different from everybody else's. Stop letting people put
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: you under the microscope too. You know, well, when I
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: did it this way, this is what I did. You
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: doing it that way, you're wrong. They don't know. They
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: don't know, and you don't know. But here's what I
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: do know. We are all uniquely made by our creator.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: He made all of us. That's how different we are.
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: Do you know that God is so powerful that there
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: are no two human beings with the same fingerprint? Hold up, man,
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: wrap your mind around it. What is it? Six eight
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: billion people on the earth and none of them have
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: the same fingerprint. That have been billions of people who
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: have died and ain't none of them have the same
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: fingerprint as you. That's how unique God made you. So
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: why are you comparing yourself to somebody else? Put your
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: focus on him, what he trying to do with you
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: in your life, and going to have yourself a great life.
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: Stop comparing yourself to other people. It's like putting your
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: fingerprinting up next to THEA is talking about look at
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: how much the same we are? You not? And God
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: intentionally at you that way, And that's a good thing,
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: you being different. It's good. Those are my remarks today.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: Drop it like it. You better speak why? Yeah, just
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: get yourself? Don't you love you? Come on, man, do
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: you if you just put your focus on you, that's
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: man your best chance to succeed. For all Steve Harvey contests,
