- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome in is Verdict with Center Ted Cruz Ben ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you Center. I got to say, there are certain
- 0:06Speaker 1: days where it's just really extra fun to be an
- 0:09Speaker 1: American and watching us take on the cartels and watching
- 0:14Speaker 1: us blow up a boat filled with drugs after the
- 0:17Speaker 1: President warned, you don't want to keep doing this by Venezuela,
- 0:20Speaker 1: and they did it anyway, God bless America. This is
- 0:23Speaker 1: Trump doctor in FAFO one oh one.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Well, let me say it is a bad time to
- 0:29Speaker 2: be a narco terrorist. It is a bad time to
- 0:31Speaker 2: be an enemy of America. And we saw President Trump
- 0:34Speaker 2: take out a boat off the waters of Venezuela. Eleven
- 0:39Speaker 2: trend'errogua gang members were aboard that boat. It was carrying narcotics.
- 0:43Speaker 2: We're going to break that down. We're going to talk
- 0:44Speaker 2: about what that had, what the impact is going to
- 0:47Speaker 2: be on Venezuela, on Mexico, on narco terrorism around the world.
- 0:52Speaker 2: This follows on with with with the last podcast we
- 0:55Speaker 2: did and my trip recently to Mexico calling on Mexico
- 0:58Speaker 2: to team up with US in fighting narco terrorism. What
- 1:02Speaker 2: happened in Venezuela shows one way or another, we are
- 1:04Speaker 2: going to defend the United States of America. We're also
- 1:07Speaker 2: going to talk about legislation that I introduced this week,
- 1:11Speaker 2: legislation to protect DC. The crime wave we've seen in DC,
- 1:17Speaker 2: the murder wave we've seen in d C. President Trump
- 1:20Speaker 2: has acted decisively to combat that crime. But a major
- 1:24Speaker 2: cause of that crime is an ordinance that DC passed
- 1:27Speaker 2: in twenty twenty two lessening the penalties for violent crime.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I filed legislation to repeal that twenty twenty two law.
- 1:35Speaker 2: We're going to talk about that as well. And finally,
- 1:38Speaker 2: breaking news, Donald J. Trump is alive. That news causes
- 1:45Speaker 2: great pain, great hysteria, great mourning for Democrats, for the
- 1:51Speaker 2: left wing media, all of whom we're celebrating his death.
- 1:56Speaker 2: We're going to talk about just how ridiculous Democrats in
- 2:00Speaker 2: the media were in the last few days as they
- 2:02Speaker 2: were eager to put President Trump in the cemetery, and
- 2:05Speaker 2: how sad that is to see people openly rooting for
- 2:08Speaker 2: the death of the president.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah. If you thought the Democratic Party could be mess
- 2:13Speaker 1: more soulless, well here's another example of it. You can't
- 2:16Speaker 1: make it up, all right. I want to tell you
- 2:18Speaker 1: real quick about a really cool note I got. I
- 2:20Speaker 1: got a note from someone that was seventy seven years
- 2:25Speaker 1: old and it was a lady and she said, mister Ferguson,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I listened to Verdict each and every day you do
- 2:33Speaker 1: your podcasts. My grandson turned me on to the show.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I've never bought anything off of radio advertising, but I
- 2:41Speaker 1: decided to buy Crockett Coffee because I love coffee, and
- 2:46Speaker 1: I decided why not. You are right, it is amazing.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Just want to say thank you from a senior citizen
- 2:53Speaker 1: who is now waking up drinking the same coffee you
- 2:56Speaker 1: guys drink. Godspeed. That is the best maybe email I've
- 3:01Speaker 1: gotten this year. And if you haven't tried Crockett Coffee,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you got to. It is small batch coffee, perfected on
- 3:09Speaker 1: purpose by experts who love the taste of amazing coffee. Now,
- 3:12Speaker 1: this is small batch, so they do it and they
- 3:14Speaker 1: roast it in small batches so that you get premium
- 3:18Speaker 1: coffee with every cup. Now, my two friends, my fellow patriots,
- 3:22Speaker 1: Buck Sex and Klay Travis, they actually started this company
- 3:25Speaker 1: because they understood that in the coffee business there are
- 3:28Speaker 1: a lot of like woke sellout cups of coffee that
- 3:33Speaker 1: you can buy and they said, look, we're never gonna
- 3:35Speaker 1: sell out. You can choose between fresh ground, hole bean
- 3:37Speaker 1: or k cup.
- 3:38Speaker 3: You choose.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And if you're even interested in the mushroom coffee and
- 3:41Speaker 1: the positive benefits that come with enjoying that each day,
- 3:44Speaker 1: Crockett Coffee is now producing that as well, and it's amazing.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Now they keep it simple dark roast, mild roast or
- 3:50Speaker 1: light roast. They got a decaf version and the mushroom
- 3:53Speaker 1: organting Glen. You just get small batch, premium coffee the
- 3:56Speaker 1: way it's supposed to be made. And here's the other thing.
- 3:59Speaker 1: A portion of every purchase goes support the Tunnel to
- 4:01Speaker 1: Towers Foundation because the people at Crockett Coffee pledge to
- 4:05Speaker 1: never ever forget. Now, let me save you money so
- 4:08Speaker 1: you can try it. All right. Here you go, go
- 4:10Speaker 1: to Crocketcoffee dot Com. Use my name Ben. You're gonna
- 4:14Speaker 1: get twenty percent off your first order. That's Crocketcoffee dot Com.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Use my name Ben on you as your promo code.
- 4:20Speaker 1: You'll get twenty percent off and you'll wake up to
- 4:22Speaker 1: the best cup of coffee of your life. All right,
- 4:25Speaker 1: So I gotta ask you, Senator. I was actually asked
- 4:28Speaker 1: this question today, and they said, hold on a second.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Senator Cruz goes out to Latin America. He's dealing with
- 4:34Speaker 1: and talking about the gangs, he's talking about cartels, he's warning,
- 4:39Speaker 1: don't mess with America. And then all of a sudden,
- 4:41Speaker 1: we see President Trump take out this boat and send
- 4:44Speaker 1: it out to the world. And they're asking me about
- 4:46Speaker 1: the timing. Are you just this good or did you
- 4:50Speaker 1: know something that we didn't know?
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll confess we really are that good. Or look,
- 4:56Speaker 2: put it more simply, put it more simply. I know
- 5:00Speaker 2: Donald Trump, I know who he is. My message to
- 5:04Speaker 2: the Mexican government this past week was I think there
- 5:09Speaker 2: is a zero percent chance, not a five percent chance,
- 5:11Speaker 2: not a ten percent chance, a zero percent chance that
- 5:14Speaker 2: four years will pass without President Trump acting decisively to
- 5:20Speaker 2: take out the Mexican drug cartels. And the choice that
- 5:24Speaker 2: I think the Mexican government has is do they they
- 5:28Speaker 2: want the US to do so unilatterly or do they
- 5:31Speaker 2: want to work with us? Do they want to be
- 5:32Speaker 2: our partners? And I told them, listen, we would much
- 5:35Speaker 2: rather work with you. It's a much better situation that
- 5:38Speaker 2: we work collaboratively. But I got to say, they got
- 5:41Speaker 2: fairly worked up. They said, no, no, no, you have to
- 5:43Speaker 2: you have to respect our sovereignty. I said, listen, if
- 5:46Speaker 2: these were just local thugs, if these were pickpockets that
- 5:49Speaker 2: were robbing people in the streets in Mexico City, it
- 5:51Speaker 2: wouldn't be our problem. But these Mexican cartels are murdering Americans,
- 5:56Speaker 2: and so the Commander in Chief has an obligation to
- 5:58Speaker 2: act against them. And I have to say, what just
- 6:01Speaker 2: happened is a powerful illustration of it. Now, what happened
- 6:04Speaker 2: in Venezuela video was put out showing the US military
- 6:09Speaker 2: taking out a drug boat and taking it out. In
- 6:13Speaker 2: the video shows the boat going along and then boomed
- 6:16Speaker 2: the explosion. Eleven suspected trend of Ragua Narco terrorists were
- 6:21Speaker 2: on board the boat. Here's what Fox News has reported.
- 6:25Speaker 2: President Donald Trump shared dramatic video Tuesday of a US
- 6:29Speaker 2: military strike that blew apart a Venezuelan drug boat in
- 6:32Speaker 2: the Southern Caribbean, leaving nearly a dozen suspected trender Ragua
- 6:36Speaker 2: Narco terrorists. Did quote, over the last few minutes, we
- 6:40Speaker 2: literally shot out a boat, a drug carrying boat, Trump
- 6:44Speaker 2: said during a news conference in the Oval Office. A
- 6:46Speaker 2: lot of drugs in that boat, and you'll be seeing that,
- 6:49Speaker 2: and you'll be reading about that. It just happened moments ago.
- 6:53Speaker 2: The strike resulted in an eleven terrorist killed in action.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Trump wrote in a social media post use the US
- 7:00Speaker 2: forces were harmed in the strike. Please let this serve
- 7:03Speaker 2: as a notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs
- 7:08Speaker 2: into the United States of America. Beware, beware. As all caps.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Thank you for your attention to the matter. And it
- 7:15Speaker 2: looks like nine exclamation marks. Now, I got to say
- 7:19Speaker 2: nine exclamation marks for eleven terrorists who blew up. That's
- 7:24Speaker 2: a really powerful message. I got to say. If you
- 7:26Speaker 2: are a narcer terrorist right now, if you're MS thirteen,
- 7:29Speaker 2: if you're trying to row Ragua, if you're any of
- 7:31Speaker 2: the of the cartels that are bringing drugs into this country,
- 7:35Speaker 2: you got to be looking around. You gotta be looking up,
- 7:36Speaker 2: going is there a drone up in the sky right now?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Are they going to take me out next? And that's
- 7:42Speaker 2: the kind of decisive leadership that we see in this
- 7:45Speaker 2: commander in chief that in four years, ask yourself, why
- 7:49Speaker 2: did Joe Biden not do anything to stop the narcer
- 7:54Speaker 2: terrorist who were murdering Americans who were flooding drugs into
- 7:58Speaker 2: this country were producing a massive death toll. More than
- 8:03Speaker 2: one hundred thousand people died last year of drug overdoses.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Seventy percent of that was fetanol. What did Joe Biden do, Well,
- 8:10Speaker 2: it's actually worse than that. Not only to do nothing, Ben,
- 8:14Speaker 2: he was actively opening our border and releasing the terrorists
- 8:18Speaker 2: and the smugglers and the human traffickers and the drug
- 8:21Speaker 2: traffickers who were engaged in this assault on the US,
- 8:25Speaker 2: and and and so I this is it was rather
- 8:28Speaker 2: powerful to remind people.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Let's also just remind people of what you just said
- 8:34Speaker 1: and how real that was. They actually sent to Texas
- 8:39Speaker 1: forkliffs that lifted up the bob wire barriers that were
- 8:42Speaker 1: put down, yeah, to let illegal immigrants into these They
- 8:46Speaker 1: sued Texas like, if.
- 8:48Speaker 2: There's any yes, so Texas is fighting to keep out
- 8:53Speaker 2: human traffickers and drug traffickers. And the Biden administration, instead
- 8:57Speaker 2: of saying thank you, Texas, let's secure our border, they
- 8:59Speaker 2: went and sued Texas and said, damn it, no, we
- 9:02Speaker 2: need more human traffickers and drug traffickers in America. They
- 9:05Speaker 2: didn't say that, but that's effectively what they.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Said, yeah, no, it's exactly the message that they sent.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I also think one of the interestings about this video,
- 9:13Speaker 1: and if you haven't seen it, it's everywhere on the internet.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I'm sure it's center on your Twitter as well. Go
- 9:19Speaker 1: there and look at it. But it was also and
- 9:22Speaker 1: I think this is part of the message.
- 9:24Speaker 2: And by the way, for folks that are watching the video,
- 9:26Speaker 2: for folks who are watching this on YouTube or rumble,
- 9:29Speaker 2: we're playing the video right now. So if you're watching
- 9:31Speaker 2: this visually, you can get this as an audio pod,
- 9:33Speaker 2: but you can also watch it visually, so you can
- 9:36Speaker 2: watch the videos we're talking about it.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think as you talk about it or
- 9:40Speaker 1: see this video, one of the things that I think
- 9:43Speaker 1: is very interesting about the messaging. This boat had no
- 9:46Speaker 1: idea this was about to happen. It wasn't flying through
- 9:49Speaker 1: the water, it wasn't zigzagging, it didn't know it was
- 9:52Speaker 1: under a temp. It was just out there doing its thing,
- 9:55Speaker 1: and then it just got blown up. The psychological message
- 10:00Speaker 1: that's gonna have to send to anybody else thinking about
- 10:02Speaker 1: getting in a boat tonight, tonight, this morning, tomorrow is
- 10:06Speaker 1: you don't know when you're gonna die, But we know
- 10:08Speaker 1: where you are, and you will not be able to
- 10:11Speaker 1: a outrun us because you won't even know where there.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That is a powerful message and I think that's part
- 10:16Speaker 1: of what the President was trying to accomplish.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Amen. You know, Carlo Samanez from Florida said that the
- 10:23Speaker 2: vessel belonged to the Cartel of the Suns and what
- 10:26Speaker 2: he said on X was this is going swimmingly. We
- 10:30Speaker 2: continue and and and the uncertainty of it. It reminds
- 10:34Speaker 2: me of a couple of things. It reminds me, number
- 10:38Speaker 2: number one, of of the Iranian IRGC, the terrorists who
- 10:45Speaker 2: one after the other were taken out were taken out.
- 10:47Speaker 2: We're taken out, and they didn't know what hit them,
- 10:50Speaker 2: and it made them incredibly uncertain. It made them incredibly uncertain.
- 10:53Speaker 2: When Israel we were joking like the IRGC, when the
- 10:57Speaker 2: Iatola would appoint someone as the head of the IRGC,
- 11:00Speaker 2: and Israel would take them out, and then they named
- 11:03Speaker 2: somebody else the head of the RGC. The next day,
- 11:05Speaker 2: Israel would take them out and by like the third
- 11:07Speaker 2: or fourth time, like if the Iotola called you and said, hey, Ben,
- 11:10Speaker 2: you want to be the head of the RGC, what
- 11:12Speaker 2: would you.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Say no, no, hell no, I'm sorry.
- 11:17Speaker 2: A new number who do just don't speak English, Like literally,
- 11:21Speaker 2: you got that job and your life expectancy was about
- 11:23Speaker 2: twenty four hours. You'd point no, no, no, I think he'd
- 11:26Speaker 2: make a much better head of the RGC. The guy
- 11:28Speaker 2: next to me, let's kill him. And the other example
- 11:30Speaker 2: it reminded me of again in the Middle East was
- 11:34Speaker 2: Hesbla and Israel when they carried out the pager operation
- 11:41Speaker 2: where these pagers that Hesbela gave to their senior terrorists
- 11:44Speaker 2: exploded and killed terrorists, wounded terrorists, and then like I
- 11:49Speaker 2: think it was forty eight hours later, they had a
- 11:51Speaker 2: second operation with walkie talkies, and the walkie talkies exploded.
- 11:55Speaker 2: And after forty eight hours of all of these exploding,
- 12:00Speaker 2: for a second, you're Hesblo terrorist and the phone rings
- 12:03Speaker 2: and you've got to be like whoa, whoa, what what
- 12:04Speaker 2: the hell? Like the interium effect of knowing any moment
- 12:09Speaker 2: could be your last. You don't realize it's coming. It
- 12:12Speaker 2: could come from a drone strike in the air, it
- 12:14Speaker 2: could come from a pager exploding. That is a powerful deterrent.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And this ship just cruising along. I guarantee you the
- 12:23Speaker 2: next drug runner that is cruising along in a boat
- 12:26Speaker 2: is going to look up and wondering, wonder, okay, is
- 12:28Speaker 2: there a missile about to explode me into the smithereens.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Let's also talk about the message that was sent not
- 12:36Speaker 1: just to the terrorists, the Narco terrorists, but also to
- 12:40Speaker 1: the message I just sent to Mexico and yeah, to
- 12:43Speaker 1: the leader in Venezuel Maduro, who's got a big bounty
- 12:47Speaker 1: on his head. Last I checked, I think it's fifty
- 12:49Speaker 1: million dollars.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Yep, fifty million. So this week Marco Rubio, the Secretary
- 12:56Speaker 2: of State, is traveling to Mexico City, and it's right
- 12:58Speaker 2: after I just came from ex City. I conveyed the
- 13:01Speaker 2: government accept our offer, work with our military take out
- 13:04Speaker 2: the cartels. Claudia Scheinbaum, the President of Mexico, said no,
- 13:08Speaker 2: we reject your offer. Here's what Marco said said on
- 13:13Speaker 2: Twitter today. He said, quote, the President has been very
- 13:16Speaker 2: clear that he's going to use the full power of America,
- 13:19Speaker 2: in the full might of the United States, to take
- 13:21Speaker 2: honor eradicate these drug cartels, no matter where they're operating
- 13:24Speaker 2: from and no matter how long they've been able to
- 13:28Speaker 2: act with impunity. Those days are over, and he went
- 13:33Speaker 2: on to say TDA is a designated foreign terrorist organization
- 13:39Speaker 2: operating under the control of Nicholas Maduro, responsible for mass murder,
- 13:44Speaker 2: drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and acts of violence and terror
- 13:48Speaker 2: across the United States and the Western hemisphere. Now that
- 13:52Speaker 2: is exactly true of the Mexican drug cartels as well,
- 13:55Speaker 2: every word he said. And so for Maduro, you're right,
- 13:58Speaker 2: there's a fifty million dollar bounty. If you're a Maduro,
- 14:00Speaker 2: you've got to feel really nervous right now that there
- 14:03Speaker 2: is some ambitious general, or maybe not a general, maybe
- 14:06Speaker 2: just a colonel or major in your army who says,
- 14:09Speaker 2: you know what, fifty million dollars sounds pretty good. I
- 14:11Speaker 2: sure would like to live a life of leisure on
- 14:13Speaker 2: an island. Maduro's got to be incredibly nervous. But the cartels,
- 14:19Speaker 2: if the Mexican cartel leaders have to understand they are next.
- 14:24Speaker 2: And if you are a government official in Mexico, you
- 14:27Speaker 2: got to make a choice. Now, by the way, Ben,
- 14:29Speaker 2: it's possible the Mexican government may make the decision. You
- 14:33Speaker 2: know what. We understand that Trump is going to take
- 14:37Speaker 2: out the cartels, But we just can't take the heat
- 14:40Speaker 2: domestically for domestic political reasons of being part of that.
- 14:44Speaker 2: So we would rather be oblivious and not be a
- 14:46Speaker 2: part of it. So we can just yell damn Yankee imperialist,
- 14:50Speaker 2: which is what they would yell if they didn't participate,
- 14:53Speaker 2: because they may decide that's better domestic politics. Well, if
- 14:56Speaker 2: they decide that, that's fine, I understand. That I tried
- 15:00Speaker 2: to convey to them is listen, you're a friend and
- 15:03Speaker 2: ally we would like to cooperate, which with you. The
- 15:06Speaker 2: analogy I used was Columbia with Planned Columbia, where we
- 15:10Speaker 2: worked with the Colombian government. We took out the cartels
- 15:13Speaker 2: in Columbia. This was under George W. Bush. That's the example.
- 15:17Speaker 2: That is the preferable example. But if the Mexican government
- 15:20Speaker 2: is going to bury their head in the sand like
- 15:22Speaker 2: an Ostrich, that does not relieve the commander in chief
- 15:25Speaker 2: of the obligation of protecting Americans. And I think this
- 15:28Speaker 2: week off the shores of Venezuela demonstrated he will act
- 15:33Speaker 2: decisively to protect this country.
- 15:36Speaker 1: If you've ever listened to the show before, you know
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm a big advocate for the Second Amendment, and I've
- 15:40Speaker 1: shared on numerous occasions how carrying a firearm literally saved
- 15:43Speaker 1: my life from a gang related attack. But many of
- 15:46Speaker 1: you out there may not feel comfortable carrying a firearm.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Maybe you have a loved one that's just not comfortable.
- 15:51Speaker 1: They need a way to protect themselves. And that's why
- 15:54Speaker 1: I want you to know about Berno launchers. I have them,
- 15:57Speaker 1: and I've given them to many family members. Burn is
- 15:59Speaker 1: a hand and help pistol that fires both kinetic rounds
- 16:02Speaker 1: and chemical irritants to separate you from an attacker. And
- 16:07Speaker 1: I'm here with Josh Cherrard from Bernard to tell us
- 16:10Speaker 1: how carrying a bernat when taking a ride share could
- 16:13Speaker 1: be a really good idea. Josh, what does your team
- 16:16Speaker 1: learn about safety and ride sharing?
- 16:19Speaker 4: So recently a story has broke about ride share in
- 16:22Speaker 4: fluting Burnet and Lift about the fact that they haven't
- 16:24Speaker 4: been reporting nearly as many attacks between drivers and riders
- 16:28Speaker 4: as previously believed, and unfortunately, some of these are as
- 16:31Speaker 4: serious as sexual assaults, major assaults that are putting people
- 16:36Speaker 4: in the hospital. So what we know is that there
- 16:39Speaker 4: has to be something done in order to improve the
- 16:41Speaker 4: safety from drivers and riders on both ends and Unfortunately,
- 16:45Speaker 4: Uber doesn't allow guns to be carried by riders in
- 16:48Speaker 4: their cars. So we're looking at trying to find better
- 16:51Speaker 4: ways to improve that safety so that when you're riding
- 16:54Speaker 4: in a ride share you understand that you're going to
- 16:56Speaker 4: get from point A to point B and be able
- 16:58Speaker 4: to do it safely.
- 16:59Speaker 1: And unfortunately a lot of the ride share policies out
- 17:03Speaker 1: there are not allowing writers to carry weapons inside the vehicle.
- 17:06Speaker 1: But a burna is something you can use.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Absolutely. There's explicitly stated in their policies that they do
- 17:12Speaker 4: not allow writers to carry firearms in their cars. However,
- 17:16Speaker 4: those policies say nothing about their lesslie the weapon like
- 17:19Speaker 4: burner launchers, which means that burna is a great solution
- 17:22Speaker 4: for making sure that you can stay safe in these
- 17:25Speaker 4: right shaars.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Look, I got one, I carry one, my wife has
- 17:28Speaker 1: one as well many family members And if you want
- 17:30Speaker 1: more information on how you and your family member can
- 17:32Speaker 1: protect yourselves with a burner launcher, go to Burnaby RNA
- 17:38Speaker 1: dot com. Again, that's burner by RNA dot com Berna
- 17:43Speaker 1: dot com. Right now, Sana, I want to ask you
- 17:46Speaker 1: one final question on this, and that is how quickly
- 17:49Speaker 1: do you think this could ratchet up. I don't believe
- 17:53Speaker 1: this is a one and done. I think this is
- 17:55Speaker 1: the beginning, not the end. I don't believe that President
- 17:58Speaker 1: Trump is bluffing. I don't believe the Secretary of State
- 18:02Speaker 1: in going down to Mexico is a bluff either. The
- 18:05Speaker 1: President has made it clear, whether it's hitting a terrace
- 18:08Speaker 1: on a tarmac in Iraq, whether it's going after ran
- 18:12Speaker 1: nuclear sites, whether it's going after ISIS and wiping them
- 18:16Speaker 1: out or Arkaida, it doesn't matter. And when he said
- 18:19Speaker 1: I'm going to name you terrorists organizations, declare that that's
- 18:23Speaker 1: what you are. That was the beginning. Today was the
- 18:26Speaker 1: beginning of the action. Do you have any reason to
- 18:28Speaker 1: believe that this is not going to be something that
- 18:30Speaker 1: we're going to be talking about for days and weeks ahead.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:33Speaker 2: No, I think we're going to see this over and
- 18:34Speaker 2: over again. I want to play the clip from when
- 18:37Speaker 2: President Trump described the action in Venezuela. Give a listen
- 18:41Speaker 2: to the President talking about it.
- 18:43Speaker 5: When you come out, and when you leave the room,
- 18:45Speaker 5: you'll see that we just over the last few minutes
- 18:49Speaker 5: literally shot out a boat, a drug carrying boat, A
- 18:54Speaker 5: lot of drugs in that boat, and you'll be seeing
- 18:57Speaker 5: that and you'll be reading about that just and moments ago.
- 19:01Speaker 5: And our great General, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,
- 19:06Speaker 5: who has been so incredible, including what took place in
- 19:11Speaker 5: Iran knocking out potential nuclear power for a long time
- 19:17Speaker 5: to come. I think within a month they would have
- 19:19Speaker 5: had it. We didn't do what we did, but he
- 19:22Speaker 5: gave us a little bit of a briefing and you'll see,
- 19:26Speaker 5: and there's more where that came from. We have a
- 19:29Speaker 5: lot of drugs pouring into our country, coming in for
- 19:31Speaker 5: a long time, and we just these came out of
- 19:34Speaker 5: Venezuela and coming out very heavily from Venezuela. A lot
- 19:38Speaker 5: of things are coming out of Venezuela. So we took
- 19:41Speaker 5: it out and you'll get to see that after this
- 19:45Speaker 5: meeting is over.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I mean, the President there just seems so calm and collected, like, hey,
- 19:51Speaker 1: I warned you, I told you. Now it's happening. This
- 19:54Speaker 1: is an FAFO moment.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Yet again, well, as the President said, there's more where
- 19:59Speaker 2: that came from. I think those were words that were
- 20:02Speaker 2: freighted with import and this really does key into my
- 20:06Speaker 2: meeting last week with the governments of El Salvador and Panama,
- 20:10Speaker 2: but especially Mexico. I described how when I met with
- 20:14Speaker 2: the Mexican Defense Minister, he began the meeting by arguing,
- 20:18Speaker 2: at considerable length, the cartels are not terrorist organizations. And
- 20:23Speaker 2: I got to say, I found that a very odd
- 20:25Speaker 2: thing for him to argue, and obviously I disagreed, and
- 20:29Speaker 2: just as an objective matter, whether he thinks they're terrorist
- 20:32Speaker 2: organizations or not, the United States has designated them as
- 20:35Speaker 2: terrorist organizations, and he said they're not terrorist organizations because
- 20:38Speaker 2: terrorist organizations have a political agenda and they spread fear
- 20:42Speaker 2: and terrify the civilian population. Now, by the way, the
- 20:45Speaker 2: cartels murder thousands, they kidnapped thousands, they intimidate, they spread fear.
- 20:50Speaker 2: By any rational definition, they're a terrorist organization. Now, they're
- 20:55Speaker 2: not motivated by politics. They're not the IRA trying to
- 20:59Speaker 2: free Ireland. There not the PLO trying to overturn or
- 21:02Speaker 2: Hamas trying to overturn the Israeli government. So it's not
- 21:05Speaker 2: political motivations. But it is money and power and control
- 21:09Speaker 2: that motivate them. But their means is terrorism. The way
- 21:15Speaker 2: they exercise power is through murder and rampant violence and
- 21:21Speaker 2: narcotics and and and through spreading fear and terror, and
- 21:27Speaker 2: their consequence is designating the cartels as terrorist organizations is
- 21:30Speaker 2: not just a paperwork notation. Okay, which box do you
- 21:34Speaker 2: check on the paper? It means that we have an authorization. Look,
- 21:39Speaker 2: we take out terrorists all over the world. And being
- 21:42Speaker 2: a terrorist organization means you are now a target. It
- 21:46Speaker 2: means if you're a terrorist organization, look in the sky
- 21:49Speaker 2: because there could be a drone about to light you
- 21:52Speaker 2: up any second. And I want to take a minute
- 21:55Speaker 2: to step back, because when it comes to foreign policy
- 21:58Speaker 2: right now, the bade this country is often simplified to
- 22:03Speaker 2: the point of absurd. Many people put foreign policy as
- 22:07Speaker 2: a bipolar situation. You are either an interventionist, in which
- 22:12Speaker 2: case you want to invade every country on Earth you
- 22:14Speaker 2: always want to send the Marines, or you're an isolationist
- 22:18Speaker 2: and you want to do nothing and withdrawal from the
- 22:19Speaker 2: world and never engage. And I have long believed both
- 22:23Speaker 2: of those polls are wrong. I think the vast majority
- 22:27Speaker 2: of the American people disagree with the interventionists and disagree
- 22:30Speaker 2: with the isolationists. And yet almost all of foreign policy
- 22:34Speaker 2: in politics, in the media is treated as if those
- 22:37Speaker 2: are the only two choices. I have long considered myself
- 22:41Speaker 2: a third point on the triangle. I consider myself a
- 22:44Speaker 2: non interventionist hawk. And here's the point I want to make.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I think Donald Trump is as well. I agree with
- 22:50Speaker 2: President Trump's foreign policy. America First is not interventionist, but
- 22:55Speaker 2: it is not isolationists. And there are whole bunch of
- 22:57Speaker 2: people in politics on Twitter it is. It seems there's
- 23:00Speaker 2: an army devoted to claiming America First is isolationists. And
- 23:06Speaker 2: let me just say the facts are to the contrary.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Donald Trump is not an isolationist, despite every effort Tucker
- 23:13Speaker 2: Carlson tries to make, and Tucker every day goes on
- 23:16Speaker 2: and on and on about Trump is an isolationist, and
- 23:19Speaker 2: he just ignores reality. Because look, in the first term
- 23:23Speaker 2: Donald Trump, when he came into office, Isis had a
- 23:26Speaker 2: caliphate the size of the state of Indiana. Trump came
- 23:30Speaker 2: in obliterated ISIS, destroyed their caliphate, took them out entirely.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Donald Trump took out General Solomoni, he took out Al Bagdatti.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Those are not the actions of an isolationists. The second term,
- 23:42Speaker 2: Trump began by bombing the hell out of the Huthis
- 23:46Speaker 2: who were attacking US shipping vessels and other shipping vessels
- 23:50Speaker 2: in the Suez Canal. That's not the act of an isolationist.
- 23:54Speaker 2: He then launched an incredibly important, a critical bombing ron
- 24:00Speaker 2: on the Iranian nuclear facilities that most definitely was not
- 24:03Speaker 2: the actions of an isolationists. And right now today taking
- 24:06Speaker 2: out these narcer terrorists in Venezuela, that is not the
- 24:10Speaker 2: act of an isolationists. Now understand the fact that President
- 24:14Speaker 2: Trump is willing to act and act militarily to take
- 24:17Speaker 2: out our enemies does not mean that he's an interventionist.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Notice that Trump hasn't invaded any countries. I don't believe
- 24:26Speaker 2: he's going to send the Marines into Iran. I don't
- 24:29Speaker 2: believe he's going to send the Marines into Venezuela or Mexico.
- 24:32Speaker 2: And by the way, I would oppose it if he did.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I don't agree with doing that. But there is a
- 24:37Speaker 2: big difference between targeted use of force against enemies of
- 24:41Speaker 2: America and trying to invade other countries and turn them
- 24:44Speaker 2: into democracies. And there's another point I want to make.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Many on the left, many democrats, many in the media,
- 24:53Speaker 2: and also many isolationists on the right believe that when
- 24:58Speaker 2: you withdraw from the world, that's how you have I
- 25:01Speaker 2: want to make the case that's exactly backwards. Look, Joe
- 25:05Speaker 2: Biden was the weakest, most impotent commander in chief we
- 25:09Speaker 2: have seen since Jimmy Carter. And that weakness, just like
- 25:13Speaker 2: Jimmy Carter, it encouraged the radicals in Iran to foment
- 25:18Speaker 2: a revolution, to take over the embassy, to take Americans
- 25:21Speaker 2: hostage for four hundred and forty four days. The same
- 25:24Speaker 2: was true under Joe Biden. The war in Ukraine was
- 25:27Speaker 2: caused because Putin was emboldened. October seventh was caused because
- 25:31Speaker 2: Iran and Hamas and Hesbela were emboldened. If you want
- 25:35Speaker 2: to avoid war, I believe, as Ronald Reagan put it
- 25:40Speaker 2: in peace through strength, I believe as President Trump puts
- 25:44Speaker 2: it in America first. And the way you avoid war
- 25:47Speaker 2: is being strong enough that nobody in their right mind
- 25:50Speaker 2: wants to mess with you. That's how you avoid war.
- 25:54Speaker 2: And I got to say this action taking out the terrorist,
- 25:56Speaker 2: it's a step in the right direction, all.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Right, center to bring it back home to something. And
- 26:02Speaker 1: you talk about cleaning things up, that's what President Trump
- 26:05Speaker 1: is city's going to do with the terrorists and those
- 26:08Speaker 1: that are bringing drugs in this country, but he's also
- 26:11Speaker 1: doing big things in different cities. And now you have
- 26:14Speaker 1: introduced the Clean DC Act. Explain to us what this is.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Well, the principle is very much the same as we
- 26:22Speaker 2: were talking about in foreign policy with the terrorists, which is,
- 26:26Speaker 2: when you react with weakness, the result is domestically, you
- 26:31Speaker 2: get more and more crime. When you react with weakness abroad,
- 26:34Speaker 2: the result is internationally you get more and more terrorism
- 26:37Speaker 2: and more and more enemies attacking. The converse is true
- 26:41Speaker 2: when you react with strength with regard to crime. When
- 26:44Speaker 2: you lock up murderers and rapists and child molesters, you
- 26:47Speaker 2: get fewer violent crimes number one because of deterrence. Number two,
- 26:51Speaker 2: because of prevention, you get the bad guys off the street.
- 26:53Speaker 2: In DC, the murder rate has consistently been one of
- 26:57Speaker 2: the highest in the entire country. Among large cities, is
- 27:00Speaker 2: twenty seven homicides per one hundred thousand residents each year.
- 27:04Speaker 2: That is higher than Bogota, Columbia, d C. Not only that,
- 27:09Speaker 2: but if you look at at vehicle theft, vehicle theft
- 27:11Speaker 2: is eight hundred and forty two per one hundred thousand residents,
- 27:15Speaker 2: which is three times the national average, and carjackings have
- 27:19Speaker 2: tripled in recent years. I'll tell you actually, one time
- 27:22Speaker 2: I was filming several years ago, I was filming Verdict.
- 27:25Speaker 2: It was a little past midnight, and we had our
- 27:27Speaker 2: truck parked on the street. I was in the studio
- 27:29Speaker 2: filming it. The truck was broken into and my briefcase
- 27:33Speaker 2: was stolen on the streets of d C. If you
- 27:36Speaker 2: look at d C, which is our nation's capital, you've
- 27:38Speaker 2: got elected representatives and staff from all fifty states, from
- 27:41Speaker 2: all over the country. We had earlier this year we
- 27:45Speaker 2: had a staffer from the White House from DOGE who
- 27:47Speaker 2: was violently assaulted in d C, beaten up by ten
- 27:51Speaker 2: juvenile offenders. Had we hadn't in recent years. We had
- 27:56Speaker 2: a staffer for Rand Paul who was stabbed in the
- 28:00Speaker 2: middle of the afternoon on DC Street. We had a
- 28:02Speaker 2: former official in the first Trump administration who was shot
- 28:06Speaker 2: and killed at five o'clock in the afternoon, parked in
- 28:08Speaker 2: his car on a d C street. The violence is
- 28:11Speaker 2: out of control, and it was made worse by a
- 28:15Speaker 2: twenty twenty two law. Twenty twenty two law in the
- 28:17Speaker 2: wake of the George Floyd killing in the Black Lives
- 28:21Speaker 2: Matter protest, when anti police fervor was driving the left crazy,
- 28:27Speaker 2: the DC City Council and the DC Mayor came in
- 28:30Speaker 2: and they passed a law that lessened the penalties for
- 28:33Speaker 2: violent crimes almost entirely across the board. They lessened the
- 28:36Speaker 2: penalty for murder, they lessened the penalty for carjacking, they
- 28:39Speaker 2: lessened the penalty for violent assault. And the effect, understandably
- 28:45Speaker 2: was those crimes all increased. If you lessen the penalty
- 28:47Speaker 2: for violent crime, the crimes increased. And this is the
- 28:51Speaker 2: thing that the left doesn't understand. We saw a Democrat Congressman,
- 28:56Speaker 2: Henry Quaar from Texas who was carjacked in his car
- 29:00Speaker 2: at about eight or nine o'clock at night. He was
- 29:02Speaker 2: coming home with his dinner and he was carjacked outside
- 29:05Speaker 2: an apartment building that, if I remember correctly, five other
- 29:08Speaker 2: congressmen lived in. That's how bad it was. Now, I
- 29:11Speaker 2: will tell you in the past Congress. Congress took up
- 29:15Speaker 2: legislation to reverse that twenty twenty two law. It passed
- 29:19Speaker 2: the House, and it passed the Senate, and then Joe
- 29:21Speaker 2: Biden vetoed it Joe Biden decided, all right, we're not
- 29:25Speaker 2: going to let this go into effect. Well, I've introduced
- 29:28Speaker 2: again legislation that is called the Clean DC Act. And
- 29:31Speaker 2: the Clean DC Act is very simple. It is designed
- 29:35Speaker 2: to repeal the twenty twenty two law lessening the penalty
- 29:40Speaker 2: for violent crimes, and the Clean d C Act we're
- 29:45Speaker 2: pushing for a vote. I think the House may vote
- 29:48Speaker 2: on it as soon as the next week or two.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I'll tell you the Clean DC Act. It's supported by
- 29:52Speaker 2: the DC Police Union, it's supported by the Fraternal Order
- 29:55Speaker 2: of the Police, and it's a good opportunity. I think
- 29:58Speaker 2: every member of Congress, every day Democrat, every House member,
- 30:01Speaker 2: needs to decide, Okay, where do you stand? Do you
- 30:05Speaker 2: stand with the violent criminals? Do you stand with the murderers,
- 30:07Speaker 2: do you stand with a rapist? Will you do you
- 30:09Speaker 2: stand with the carjackers? Or do you stand with the
- 30:13Speaker 2: citizens of America? That ought to be an easy vote,
- 30:16Speaker 2: although sadly I'm going to predict I think an awful
- 30:18Speaker 2: lot of Democrats are going to vote with criminals.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it really does tell you where the Democrats mindset
- 30:25Speaker 1: is right now, where they can't even agree that criminals
- 30:28Speaker 1: should be held accountable, and it also just amazing tells
- 30:31Speaker 1: you about how sinister they are, which brings us to
- 30:34Speaker 1: our final story. The idea that because the president wasn't
- 30:38Speaker 1: seen like twenty four to seven, totally different than Joe
- 30:40Speaker 1: Biden when he was president, by the way, but somehow
- 30:43Speaker 1: he was dead was a trend on social media and
- 30:46Speaker 1: Democrats were celebrating it.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Now.
- 30:49Speaker 2: It really was bizarre. The left was losing their mind
- 30:53Speaker 2: because a couple of days President Trump hadn't done a
- 30:56Speaker 2: public event, and so suddenly the left, they were so excited,
- 31:01Speaker 2: they were so excited that, oh, this means Trump is
- 31:05Speaker 2: really sick. He's in the hospital, he's at a stroke,
- 31:07Speaker 2: he's dead. You know, Andrew Yang, you remember the Democratic
- 31:11Speaker 2: ran for president. He tweeted out, quote, I would be
- 31:15Speaker 2: pumped to have a president whose physical vitality or mental
- 31:18Speaker 2: fitness wasn't an ongoing issue or concern. It's like, what
- 31:24Speaker 2: where the hell were the Democrats during the last four
- 31:26Speaker 2: years of Joe Biden. The man was almost publicly in
- 31:30Speaker 2: a coma for four years. He was drooling and coloring
- 31:34Speaker 2: with crayons, and the Democrats are like, nothing to see here, No, no, no,
- 31:37Speaker 2: it's perfectly fine. Yes, we have a White House staffer
- 31:41Speaker 2: we dress as a giant Easter bunny to lead him away,
- 31:44Speaker 2: to keep him out of trouble. But there's nothing to
- 31:46Speaker 2: see here, and I got to say so. So today
- 31:50Speaker 2: President Trump was asked about this by Peter Doucy, and
- 31:53Speaker 2: in fact, Peter Deucy asked about the stories that he'd
- 31:55Speaker 2: been dead. Listen to the exchange between Peter Doucy and
- 31:59Speaker 2: President Trump about a big viral social media trend over
- 32:02Speaker 2: the weekend. How did you find out over the weekend
- 32:06Speaker 2: that you were dead?
- 32:08Speaker 4: Do you see that?
- 32:09Speaker 2: No, people didn't see him a couple of days, one
- 32:11Speaker 2: point three million user engagements as of Saturday morning about
- 32:14Speaker 2: your demides.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Really, I didn't see that, you know, I have heard
- 32:19Speaker 5: it's sort of crazy. But last week I did numerous
- 32:22Speaker 5: news conferences, all successful. They went very well, like this
- 32:25Speaker 5: is going very well, And then I didn't do any
- 32:29Speaker 5: for two days, and they said there must be something
- 32:31Speaker 5: wrong with him. Biden wouldn't do him for months. You
- 32:34Speaker 5: wouldn't see him, and nobody ever said there was ever
- 32:37Speaker 5: anything wrong with him, and we know he wasn't in
- 32:39Speaker 5: the greatest of shape. No, I heard that. I get
- 32:42Speaker 5: reports now you knew. I did an interview that lasted
- 32:46Speaker 5: for about an hour and a half with somebody and everybody,
- 32:48Speaker 5: So that was on one of your competitors. I did
- 32:52Speaker 5: numerous shows and also did a number of truths, long
- 32:56Speaker 5: truth so I think, pretty poignant truth. Very active over
- 33:00Speaker 5: the weekend. They also went out to visit some people
- 33:03Speaker 5: at the at the club that I own pretty nearby
- 33:07Speaker 5: on the Potomac River. And now I've been very active
- 33:10Speaker 5: actually over the weekend. I didn't hear that one. That's
- 33:12Speaker 5: pretty serious. Well, it's fake news, you know, it's just
- 33:16Speaker 5: so it's so fake. That's why the media has so
- 33:20Speaker 5: little credibility. I knew they you were saying, like, is
- 33:24Speaker 5: he okay, how's he feeling? What's wrong? I said, I
- 33:27Speaker 5: just left. And it's also sort of a longer weekend.
- 33:31Speaker 5: You know, it's Labor Day weekend, so I would say
- 33:33Speaker 5: a lot of people. No, I was very active this
- 33:35Speaker 5: Labor Day. I had heard that, but I didn't hear
- 33:38Speaker 5: to that extent.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I love how the president just trolls the media on
- 33:42Speaker 1: this one, like, yeah, you guys are a bunch of scumbags,
- 33:44Speaker 1: and I'm not surprised that this is what you did.
- 33:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 2: No, Look, it was absurd. I mean, this president. You
- 33:50Speaker 2: can disagree with them on substance, you can disagree with
- 33:53Speaker 2: him on style, but the man has enormous energy. I mean,
- 33:57Speaker 2: if you look at the first seven months of this administration,
- 33:59Speaker 2: I think they're There's been no administration in a lifetime
- 34:02Speaker 2: that has had more velocity and volume and action, and
- 34:06Speaker 2: it has been incredible. And this president he is going
- 34:09Speaker 2: This weekend, actually, President Trump called me. I talked to
- 34:12Speaker 2: him this weekend. He was in great spirits. We were
- 34:14Speaker 2: talking to.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Tim while he was dead but alive. Oh yes, breaking
- 34:18Speaker 1: ye yeah.
- 34:19Speaker 2: And oddly enough, I didn't have a Ouiji board. I
- 34:20Speaker 2: didn't have to do a seance, and he was kind
- 34:22Speaker 2: of and it was we were not talking about are
- 34:24Speaker 2: u R right? He was key called me on an
- 34:26Speaker 2: issue that he and I had been working on. So
- 34:27Speaker 2: we had a substance of conversation. You know, Today the
- 34:31Speaker 2: President announced that there was going to be a White
- 34:33Speaker 2: House address at two o'clock, and I got to say,
- 34:36Speaker 2: Twitter went crazy with anticipation, and I think people expected
- 34:41Speaker 2: them to announce. Okay, President Trump is dead. He's entered
- 34:44Speaker 2: a permanent vegetative state. He's resigning like like like the
- 34:48Speaker 2: left was, they were beside themselves, but particularly egregious. I
- 34:53Speaker 2: want you to listen to Tim Waltz. Tim Waltz is
- 34:56Speaker 2: the governor of Minnesota. He's a weird dude, and you'll remember,
- 35:01Speaker 2: for like twelve seconds he was Kamala Harris's vice presidential nominee.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Give a listen to what Tim Waltz had to say
- 35:08Speaker 2: about President Trump and his hopes that the president was dead.
- 35:12Speaker 3: And get up in the morning and you doom scroll
- 35:14Speaker 3: through things. And although I will say this, the last
- 35:18Speaker 3: few days you woke up thinking there might be news,
- 35:22Speaker 3: just saying, just saying there will be news sometime, just
- 35:26Speaker 3: so you know there will be news.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I mean, that's sick. And that's the guy who ran
- 35:30Speaker 1: for vice president of the Democratic Party.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Let me say that is sick. And I have never
- 35:36Speaker 2: wished death upon Joe Biden or Barack Obama or Hillary
- 35:40Speaker 2: Clinton or any of the Democrat leaders the president of
- 35:43Speaker 2: the United States, whether you agree with them or not.
- 35:46Speaker 2: What the hell is wrong with these people where they
- 35:48Speaker 2: say they wake up every day hoping, please please please
- 35:51Speaker 2: let me see that he is dead. You know, there
- 35:54Speaker 2: used to be a notion. Listen when Barack Obama was president,
- 35:58Speaker 2: I disagreed with all lot of the policies that he implemented.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I think they did a lot of damage, a lot
- 36:03Speaker 2: of harm to this country. But I wish success on him.
- 36:07Speaker 2: I wanted America to succeed. You know, we talked about
- 36:10Speaker 2: earlier this year President Trump State of the Union address.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I've been to thirteen State of the Union addresses. Every
- 36:16Speaker 2: single one begins the same way with the sergeant at
- 36:19Speaker 2: arm calling out the President of the United States. And
- 36:24Speaker 2: twelve of the thirteen i've been to. Every House member
- 36:27Speaker 2: and senator stands and applauds. And that's true, whether it's
- 36:30Speaker 2: a Democrat or Republican, whether it's your party of the
- 36:32Speaker 2: other party, you respect the office. And so when Barack
- 36:36Speaker 2: Obama walked onto the floor of the House, I stood
- 36:39Speaker 2: and applauded for him. When Joe Biden walked on the
- 36:41Speaker 2: floor of the House, I stood and applauded for him.
- 36:43Speaker 2: This year, when Trump walked under the floor, every single
- 36:46Speaker 2: Democrat I saw states sitting and would not applaud. And
- 36:50Speaker 2: there's something really wrong when you were openly cheering for
- 36:56Speaker 2: the President of the United States to die and the
- 36:59Speaker 2: people people laughing, and I suspect there were reporters there
- 37:02Speaker 2: and there were also leftist activists. The people laughing and cheering,
- 37:07Speaker 2: there's something just fundamentally wrong about that.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is. Don't forget. We do this show Monday, Wednesday,
- 37:13Speaker 1: and Friday. We're gonna keep you update on all the

- 37:32Speaker 1: tech Cruise and it will do it for you just
- 37:34Speaker 1: that easily. And the Senate and I will see you
- 37:36Speaker 1: back here in a couple of days
