- 2:19Speaker 7: The fact that God woke you up and gave you
- 2:21Speaker 7: another opportunity. You know, every day you wake up, it's
- 2:24Speaker 7: another chance. It's a chance for all of us to
- 2:27Speaker 7: get better, to get it right, to get on the
- 2:29Speaker 7: right path, to stop heading the wrong way.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Every day you wake up, that's your opportunity. See, because
- 2:37Speaker 2: he's gonna keep waking you up because he has a
- 2:39Speaker 2: plan for you.
- 2:40Speaker 6: You know, I don't know. You know, I don't. I don't.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I don't know when he makes his call, and you
- 2:50Speaker 2: know who gets called home when I can't explain it.
- 2:53Speaker 6: I don't have that answer. I'm not him, I'm not God.
- 2:56Speaker 6: I don't claim to be. I don't.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I don't understand it all sometime. But God has an
- 3:01Speaker 2: amazing way. But as long as he's waking you up.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I do know this.
- 3:06Speaker 2: God ain't through with you yet. God has a plan
- 3:08Speaker 2: for you. Your job is to identify identify the plan.
- 3:14Speaker 2: You know, that's clearly what I need for you to do.
- 3:16Speaker 2: You know, oftentimes the thing that you're looking for, it's
- 3:22Speaker 2: right there inside of you.
- 3:25Speaker 3: You know.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many people I meet, mister Harvey,
- 3:29Speaker 2: mister Harper, can't speak to you for a minute. Yeah, Man,
- 3:31Speaker 2: what's up with you?
- 3:33Speaker 6: Man? I was just wondering.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Man, I've been trying to and I want to know, Man,
- 3:36Speaker 2: can you give me a good agent? Can you give
- 3:39Speaker 2: me a good lawyer? Can you give me a good Now? Look,
- 3:42Speaker 2: if you got some legal problems, I understand you're gonna
- 3:45Speaker 2: need some help right there. But the majority of questions
- 3:47Speaker 2: I get asked is about their future, about their place
- 3:50Speaker 2: in this world, about their mission, about what they're trying
- 3:54Speaker 2: to do, how they trying to figure out, and then
- 3:56Speaker 2: the how to go about doing it. But the answer
- 3:59Speaker 2: I must remind all of you is always within yourself.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It starts right there. See a lot of people burn
- 4:06Speaker 2: up a lot of time looking around trying to find someone.
- 4:11Speaker 2: If I could just meet them, if I could just
- 4:14Speaker 2: get on her show. Man, if all, if I could
- 4:18Speaker 2: just get to his show, I beating made it. That's
- 4:23Speaker 2: not necessarily the case. Because See, just like every time
- 4:27Speaker 2: you put your put your faith in a person or
- 4:31Speaker 2: an event or currence or some type of thing that
- 4:36Speaker 2: you imagine yourself being in it and that'll do it
- 4:38Speaker 2: for you. Imagine of all the people who've made it
- 4:41Speaker 2: without you know, I look at everybody telling me, Man,
- 4:43Speaker 2: if I could get on so and so show, that'll
- 4:46Speaker 2: do it for me. Man, somebody else got on that
- 4:48Speaker 2: show and they blew up. Man, if I could just
- 4:50Speaker 2: make it to that show, do you know how many
- 4:52Speaker 2: people have made it without that? So, see, when you
- 4:55Speaker 2: start focusing in on what your idea of how to
- 4:59Speaker 2: make it is, and your idea of how to make
- 5:01Speaker 2: it does not include your relationship with God, you spinning
- 5:05Speaker 2: your wheels. Man, It's a vicious cycle you in now,
- 5:09Speaker 2: and I'm asking everybody to get out of that cycle.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Get out of looking for someone and something. The answer
- 5:16Speaker 2: is within you. God resides in you. That burning thing
- 5:20Speaker 2: that you have that you just can't get out your head.
- 5:24Speaker 2: That's a seed. God plant that dare. That's a seed.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It needs watering, nurturing, fertilizing. That's what it needs.
- 5:31Speaker 6: It didn't it. Don't ever say, man, I need that
- 5:34Speaker 6: other person right there now.
- 5:36Speaker 2: There are people you will meet that will compliment you,
- 5:38Speaker 2: and I can assure you that God will put you
- 5:40Speaker 2: in the right place at the right time. I'm almost
- 5:43Speaker 2: certain that God will introduce you to everybody you need
- 5:47Speaker 2: to be introduced to to make it to wherever it is.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You all are trying to get to him talking about
- 5:52Speaker 2: you and God now. But the moment you take it
- 5:55Speaker 2: into your own hands and you make the decision as
- 5:57Speaker 2: to who you got to get to, you've just clouded
- 6:00Speaker 2: and muddied the waters.
- 6:02Speaker 6: See God's plan for you don't really need your help.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Uh oh, it needs your attention, It needs your focus,
- 6:11Speaker 2: it needs your faith, and it needs your hard work.
- 6:15Speaker 6: But He needs you to listen. He needs you to
- 6:18Speaker 6: listen more than anything. Listen, keep the faith and be
- 6:22Speaker 6: willing to work your tail off. I don't know how
- 6:26Speaker 6: you think it can happen any other way. But then
- 6:29Speaker 6: again I do because I try to make it another way.
- 6:33Speaker 6: So I had to come to the conclusion, Hey man,
- 6:37Speaker 6: listen here, dog just ain't working for you. You got
- 6:40Speaker 6: to get some more God here, man, listen to me.
- 6:43Speaker 6: The answer was always within me, the.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Moment I sat down with myself and told myself the
- 6:51Speaker 2: truth that hein Partner, You ain't really all that hey, Partner.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Regardless as of what people are seeing and stuff, you
- 6:59Speaker 2: ain't happy. Hey Pardner, this really ain't about you. Hey Pardner,
- 7:04Speaker 2: you really ain't all that good at this. God is
- 7:08Speaker 2: keeping you for a reason. Okay, hold up, Steve, quit tripping.
- 7:12Speaker 6: What I need to do.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I just started talking to myself and then I heard
- 7:16Speaker 2: Bishop Jakes say a couple of things.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Then I was watching TV. I heard Joel Oldstein say
- 7:21Speaker 6: a couple of things and I went, wow, man, okay.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Cool, that's pretty slick. I'm gonna try that. And when
- 7:27Speaker 2: I did it, it changed my life. I am telling you, man,
- 7:31Speaker 2: it has been God this whole time, and the God
- 7:34Speaker 2: has been residing inside of me, just like the God
- 7:38Speaker 2: resides on the inside of you. That's Him talking to you.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Telling you man, you ought to get it together. Man
- 7:45Speaker 2: making you feel bad. It's sending you on guilt trips,
- 7:48Speaker 2: you knowing you wrong and you out there wrong and
- 7:50Speaker 2: something telling you you are not do it.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Here's how you know. It's God.
- 7:55Speaker 2: And Bishop Alma taught me this in his book He's
- 7:58Speaker 2: Got and think of the name of it right now,
- 8:01Speaker 2: but it's a really good book.
- 8:03Speaker 6: But it says in that man.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Bishop Olmer was talking in this book, and he was saying,
- 8:08Speaker 2: the way you know is not God's voice is.
- 8:12Speaker 6: If it ain't no sin in it.
- 8:14Speaker 2: See how many times have you made up in your mind,
- 8:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna show this person or I'm gonna show that person,
- 8:21Speaker 2: or I'm gonna get this person back. You hurt me,
- 8:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna hurt you. You know the Lord don't like ugly.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'll show you well, the Lord don't like ugly. But
- 8:31Speaker 2: no way in that does it's safe for you to
- 8:33Speaker 2: go show them. It doesn't say that. See, so when
- 8:37Speaker 2: you strike out on that mission, you know the God
- 8:41Speaker 2: knows in my heart I loved you, but I got
- 8:43Speaker 2: to do this because you did me. Whoa whoa, whoa
- 8:45Speaker 2: ain't got nothing to do with God? Right there, you
- 8:47Speaker 2: can take him out of it. If it's God, has
- 8:51Speaker 2: no sin in it. So anytime somebody come to me
- 8:55Speaker 2: talking about the Lord told me to do this to you,
- 8:58Speaker 2: and that's the only reason I'm doing it, you need
- 9:00Speaker 2: to get yourself right with God. I had all them
- 9:03Speaker 2: threats right there. That ain't God talking to me through you.
- 9:06Speaker 2: What are you crazy? If it's God, it has no
- 9:10Speaker 2: sin in it. So you got to be careful man,
- 9:12Speaker 2: when you talking to people. If we're gonna go down
- 9:14Speaker 2: here and we're gonna do this because this is the
- 9:16Speaker 2: right thing to do. If it has something wrong going on,
- 9:20Speaker 2: then it can't be the right.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Thing to do. Took me a minute to learn that one.
- 9:26Speaker 2: But please get that through your head so you can
- 9:28Speaker 2: quit spinning yourself around and remember everything you're looking for
- 9:33Speaker 2: is within you.
- 9:34Speaker 6: It's all right there.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Quit wasting your time looking around all the time. Go
- 9:40Speaker 2: to your God, man, talk to him. Go to that
- 9:43Speaker 2: spirit that's on the inside of you that's calling you.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Stop letting people shake your tree. At the end of
- 9:49Speaker 2: the day, somebody gonna be right, somebody gonna be wrong.
- 9:52Speaker 2: All right, y'all, we're gonna have to go in day
- 9:54Speaker 2: tripping a little bit going through something.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna say it again, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to
- 10:08Speaker 2: twenty twenty five. Get your mind right. Ain't it great
- 10:14Speaker 2: to be alive in twenty twenty five? It was good
- 10:20Speaker 2: to be alive in twenty twenty four. It'll be even
- 10:23Speaker 2: most fabulous if I'm alive in twenty twenty six. But
- 10:27Speaker 2: since live in five rhyme, I'm just gonna say it again.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Ain't it good to be alive in twenty twenty five?
- 10:34Speaker 2: However it's going for you? Can you not just appreciate
- 10:38Speaker 2: the fact that it is going? However is going? It
- 10:42Speaker 2: is going, and I'm glad I'm here. Man Well, ladies
- 10:46Speaker 2: and gentlemen, The Steve Harvey Morty Show us back in
- 10:48Speaker 2: full forth, Shirley Strawberry Collin for real Mississippi Monica Junior
- 10:53Speaker 2: and the legend that is Nephew Tommy well well Well
- 10:58Speaker 2: Junior Senior in a wild man.
- 11:01Speaker 6: I am scared to ask you what's going on? But
- 11:03Speaker 6: I ain't nothing going on. I'm good. I'm here. Twenty
- 11:05Speaker 6: twenty five.
- 11:06Speaker 8: What the attitude need to be for this year? What's
- 11:09Speaker 8: our attitude? What should we be looking at it?
- 11:11Speaker 9: What was you?
- 11:11Speaker 6: Why should we do this this year?
- 11:12Speaker 4: Uh?
- 11:13Speaker 6: Gratitude and attitude.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I am pressing forward in twenty twenty five with the
- 11:21Speaker 2: attitude that the reason God allowed me to see twenty
- 11:25Speaker 2: twenty five is because He has something in store for
- 11:29Speaker 2: me that I haven't received yet, and I am on
- 11:32Speaker 2: a mission to go get it and see what it is.
- 11:36Speaker 6: Now.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Since He gave us the power of choice as human beings,
- 11:41Speaker 2: I have some things I've decided I wanted. What I've
- 11:45Speaker 2: decided to do this year is align it with the
- 11:48Speaker 2: will of God. Now I can want what I want,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I can plan what I plan, but my plans are
- 11:55Speaker 2: subject to his okay and approval. That's the way I'm
- 12:00Speaker 2: going into twenty twenty five. I got some plans, I
- 12:03Speaker 2: got some aspirations and the goal. But I'm asking him
- 12:06Speaker 2: to order my steps and I'm asking him to protect me.
- 12:10Speaker 2: So I'm asking him if there's anything i'm asking for
- 12:13Speaker 2: a wanting that ain't in your will, just let me
- 12:16Speaker 2: know early. Don't let me go do it then it
- 12:18Speaker 2: crash and burned. I ain't gotta do that no more.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Just tell me now and then let me just go
- 12:24Speaker 2: from there, and then I'm gonna.
- 12:25Speaker 6: Say, okay, well what you want.
- 12:26Speaker 2: So I'm a little bit more open this year than
- 12:29Speaker 2: I ever been in years prior, you know, with my
- 12:32Speaker 2: goals and dreams and stuff.
- 12:33Speaker 10: You know.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Yeah, that's my new approach.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I got a lot of stuff I won't but I've
- 12:39Speaker 2: got it open and subjective, subjected to His will for me,
- 12:44Speaker 2: because His plan for me has been way better than mine.
- 12:47Speaker 6: You know.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Like I into twenty twenty five with less worries than
- 12:50Speaker 2: I did in twenty twenty four or twenty twenty three
- 12:53Speaker 2: or any other year before. I came into twenty twenty five. Man,
- 12:56Speaker 2: just chilling because God got me. I mean, he didn't
- 12:59Speaker 2: got I'm sixty seven years old. If God let me live,
- 13:03Speaker 2: do you know, man, my next birthday, I'll be sixty eight.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Do you know? Man?
- 13:07Speaker 2: I have learned that He has the ability to take
- 13:10Speaker 2: care of me better than I care myself. I made
- 13:13Speaker 2: some making decision, ended up homeless, two marriagers other than
- 13:17Speaker 2: this one. I made some decision on my own. Did
- 13:19Speaker 2: all I did all this on my own? Yeah, I
- 13:23Speaker 2: went to college. That was my own decision. He knew
- 13:26Speaker 2: I didn't have no bizes down there, but I went
- 13:28Speaker 2: down there. But I went down there anyway.
- 13:31Speaker 1: He knew coming up.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Goody, well, you college.

- 15:30Speaker 6: Okay, let me go up there. Let me walk back

- 29:12Speaker 2: Mhm. He does love you, and he can be in
- 29:15Speaker 2: love with you. All that can be true. Can you
- 29:19Speaker 2: trust him with your heart? Not if his wife find
- 29:22Speaker 2: out and he done told you his wife know about you? Girl, bye,
- 29:29Speaker 2: let me ask you something. Yeah, what did he say

- 38:29Speaker 3: You know.
- 38:30Speaker 6: You know what's crazy is the amount of cakes that
- 38:32Speaker 6: were sitting on the counter in the case. And you
- 38:36Speaker 6: know what I found out.
- 38:37Speaker 2: A lot of times, you know, you're thirsty, thirsty. When
- 38:40Speaker 2: you're thirsty, you think you hungry. So I had I
- 38:44Speaker 2: ate about half a cake to quench my thirsty.
- 38:47Speaker 1: I was that the logic your you two days? Yeah,
- 38:51Speaker 1: when I'm thirsty, I'm thirsty.
- 38:53Speaker 6: Right, I'm trying to figure that out, and so thirsty cake.
- 38:58Speaker 6: That's what listened to me.
- 38:59Speaker 2: I want you all understand people canut thirsty with hunger
- 39:04Speaker 2: because it's the need that your body has. And a
- 39:07Speaker 2: lot of times you're thirsty, you should just drink water,
- 39:10Speaker 2: but you don't. You just know your body is craving
- 39:13Speaker 2: something and instead of the water, you go.
- 39:15Speaker 6: And you eat.
- 39:17Speaker 3: You're watching the game and you take a trip to
- 39:19Speaker 3: the kitchen. What you're going to nettigut?
- 39:21Speaker 6: So you're thirsty and I'm gonna get some kneed and
- 39:27Speaker 6: some egg. Now, yeah, my.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Fat thirsty ass right on in there s nachos and
- 39:35Speaker 2: the damn glass.
- 39:36Speaker 6: He no, yeah, it wasn't thirsty no more. Man, I'm

- 39:48Speaker 2: other holiday.
- 39:49Speaker 6: I can't remember eating like this. I can't.
- 39:52Speaker 1: So for your resolution.
- 39:53Speaker 5: So now that we're here New Year eighth, Bay, what
- 39:56Speaker 5: you're gonna do with resolutions?
- 39:59Speaker 2: You know, I don't do resolutions because whatever I decide
- 40:02Speaker 2: I started before. Like I've already got back to my
- 40:05Speaker 2: paleo diet, you know, I just went on back to it,
- 40:08Speaker 2: you know, I got I'm gonna start back to cold plunging.
- 40:11Speaker 6: You know, well, what is that thing I saw on
- 40:14Speaker 6: social media? What does that matt you lay on? What
- 40:16Speaker 6: is that? I guess it lays on math mat Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 40:20Speaker 6: that tell me what that lay on?
- 40:22Speaker 10: It?
- 40:23Speaker 2: You can't feel it. You just turn it on in
- 40:26Speaker 2: the morning and you turn it on at night. Night
- 40:29Speaker 2: is the relaxation mode, and it helps remove all the radioactive.
- 40:34Speaker 6: Not radioactive, anti radio currency, you know what I mean.
- 40:40Speaker 2: You know, if you've been on the phone, cell phone
- 40:41Speaker 2: and all that stuff, it helps take that from your body.
- 40:45Speaker 6: All right.
- 40:45Speaker 11: Basically on that note, coming up at thirty four minutes
- 40:49Speaker 11: after Steve, Tommy has some questions for you before he
- 40:53Speaker 11: goes on vacation, all right, all questions.
- 40:56Speaker 5: From him.
- 41:00Speaker 6: That Matt when it's raining, though, I know I can't
- 41:02Speaker 6: be on that to get off that.
- 41:07Speaker 1: You're listening morning show.
- 41:11Speaker 11: All right, So Uncle Steve, your nephew Tommy has some
- 41:14Speaker 11: vacation advice.
- 41:16Speaker 1: He wants to ask you.
- 41:18Speaker 6: Go ahead, all right, big dog.
- 41:19Speaker 3: So taking my wife, uh, taking my wife out of
- 41:23Speaker 3: the country for her birthday, which is actually January night
- 41:27Speaker 3: coming up, and we go in too nice.
- 41:30Speaker 6: That's what we flying to. We fly in the nice.
- 41:35Speaker 6: First of all, it's called nice. He is nice.
- 41:41Speaker 2: I understand that out for France, it's called nice. Just
- 41:46Speaker 2: want to help you out. I'm assuming that's a nice place.
- 41:51Speaker 2: I'm assuming so you're flying in the nice? Go ahead,
- 41:55Speaker 2: go ahead, Okay, yeah, he ain't got the time.
- 41:59Speaker 6: For right here.
- 42:01Speaker 3: So is that a way that I'm trying to get.
- 42:05Speaker 3: I'm trying to get where I can go into the
- 42:08Speaker 3: Haramans store and the Herarameans. If I can go into
- 42:13Speaker 3: the Hermes store and get that, Tommy, well I can. Well,
- 42:16Speaker 3: I'm just the only one shopping, just me and Jackie,
- 42:18Speaker 3: and there in the hair of means. First of all,
- 42:20Speaker 3: you're talking about the herr Man's store. That's what her
- 42:25Speaker 3: Man's store. And for them to shut that store down,
- 42:28Speaker 3: you know you're gonna have to buy you.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Is that's her means? Okay, I got you. Well, Hermes,
- 42:38Speaker 2: Hermes is not gonna close for you just going in there.
- 42:42Speaker 2: You ain't finished spend that much money. First of all,
- 42:44Speaker 2: you don't even know the name of the place. So
- 42:46Speaker 2: they're gonna have it. They don't have a hard time
- 42:48Speaker 2: locking the door of the Hermes.
- 42:51Speaker 6: All right. So let me tell you what I have
- 42:52Speaker 6: done though, just you know, because you know i'll be
- 42:54Speaker 6: you know, I'll be budgeted. So they got it.
- 42:59Speaker 3: I found this spy in Houston. It ain't a burking,
- 43:02Speaker 3: it's a dirkin, okay.
- 43:05Speaker 2: But what I want to get from you is maybe
- 43:07Speaker 2: you got some boxes that's burking that I can put
- 43:10Speaker 2: the bag in and then I give it to Jackie
- 43:13Speaker 2: when we get to nice.
- 43:17Speaker 6: Here.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Why don't you just do this right here, then you
- 43:21Speaker 3: can get your own box with this instead of getting
- 43:23Speaker 3: a dirkin. Why don't you just get a duncan dunkin doughnuts.
- 43:28Speaker 3: They come in a box. The box got orange on it,
- 43:31Speaker 3: just got orange on it, and then you could just
- 43:34Speaker 3: go ahead and be real nice right here. But no,
- 43:38Speaker 3: I don't have no box for you to put, no
- 43:41Speaker 3: dirking in. To tell you, first of all, I don't know.
- 43:45Speaker 2: I don't know who you think you talking to, but
- 43:47Speaker 2: I know your wife and you're gonna get cussed out
- 43:50Speaker 2: real smooth if you try to give her because she
- 43:53Speaker 2: know what really is.
- 43:55Speaker 6: So this ain't the time for budgeting.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Well, I did call a few stores and told him
- 44:00Speaker 3: who I was. I told him I was your nephew,
- 44:02Speaker 3: So I do have that on lot. They already know
- 44:04Speaker 3: Steve you is coming to the country.
- 44:06Speaker 2: So here's one more thing I'm gonna need you to
- 44:09Speaker 2: do when you travel out the country. Keep my name
- 44:12Speaker 2: at your mouse.
- 44:14Speaker 6: Just just do that for me.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I got, I got a good reputation globally. I just
- 44:20Speaker 2: want to leave it that way. You know, when the
- 44:21Speaker 2: hobbyists come into town, we get treated real respectful. I
- 44:24Speaker 2: don't want you in that asking for no money off
- 44:27Speaker 2: on their earnest. I don't want you in here walking
- 44:30Speaker 2: around nice talking about where is everything at?
- 44:33Speaker 3: Just just just don't do that. Just don't do Do
- 44:37Speaker 3: you have Kanye nothing? I wanted to at least hear
- 44:39Speaker 3: him while I'm over there. I mean, I mean my
- 44:45Speaker 3: wife didn't feel to be walking in the street, NiCad
- 44:47Speaker 3: and nothing like that. I'm just saying, I just I
- 44:48Speaker 3: will Kanye. Let me ask your question, Tommy, what what
- 44:55Speaker 3: what what you want to call Kanye for?
- 44:58Speaker 2: You know, you know, you know, you know a big time.
- 45:00Speaker 2: You know you want to make sure you hang with
- 45:01Speaker 2: somebody big time. Okay, I'll give you the number. I'll
- 45:05Speaker 2: give you a number.
- 45:06Speaker 6: Now. I want you to know something though.
- 45:07Speaker 1: When you call it, uh huh in words in Paris, you.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Ain't gonna be able to talk. So just get ready

- 45:40Speaker 2: gonna do, and I told him it wasn't a good idea.
- 45:42Speaker 3: He said, that ain't what I want to do. I said,
- 45:44Speaker 3: my man, do you I like Kanye man, I really do,
- 45:48Speaker 3: because he brings out a side of me I don't.

- 53:02Speaker 6: What what's going on? I ain't nothing going on? Long day,
- 53:05Speaker 6: I got dates countries. Yeah, and we want to take
- 53:07Speaker 6: you some time off.
- 53:09Speaker 1: What did you doing?
- 53:10Speaker 3: Well? Uh?
- 53:12Speaker 8: I think I told you about what I'm doing. I
- 53:17Speaker 8: never I told you about We bring it up right now?
- 53:20Speaker 8: Bring it up right now? You're gonna bring up the
- 53:22Speaker 8: meeting right now?
- 53:25Speaker 6: Hold who if you are? Wait?
- 53:28Speaker 2: Wa, wa, wait a minute? If you all just go
- 53:30Speaker 2: back over what were just saying? I never bought up
- 53:32Speaker 2: a meeting. All I said was I ain't heard you.
- 53:35Speaker 2: I ain't heard no dates from you. Now, y'all are
- 53:37Speaker 2: taken a ram with a whole nother scenario. Steve Harvey
- 53:40Speaker 2: said nothing by no damn dates, no meeting. I was
- 53:42Speaker 2: talking about that. Your ass brought up the meeting, and
- 53:47Speaker 2: now you want to put it on.
- 53:48Speaker 6: Do I want to talk about it on that? Yeah?
- 53:50Speaker 2: I do, because I don't even know what the hell
- 53:52Speaker 2: of meeting you're talking about. That's the start this week, man,
- 53:59Speaker 2: make it. And I've been trying nothing. You know I
- 54:02Speaker 2: was gonna make this year the year I was gonna
- 54:05Speaker 2: do less cussing. But already see that ain't gonna work out.
- 54:09Speaker 1: That is just because just what he just did just now,
- 54:14Speaker 1: you had a meeting about it that made.
- 54:17Speaker 6: I didn't cuss.
- 54:18Speaker 2: There, But that right there is the reason I don't
- 54:22Speaker 2: really think this is gonna work out for me, because
- 54:24Speaker 2: that right there.
- 54:25Speaker 6: You should have got cussed out.
- 54:26Speaker 9: For that.
- 54:30Speaker 1: A meeting. It's okay, it's all right.
- 54:33Speaker 3: When midnight hit, was you cussing for New Year's when
- 54:38Speaker 3: you show you didn't cut I don't believe it.
- 54:42Speaker 6: You didn't say happy blank New Year. You didn't say that.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Well, we know because we know one thing I did.
- 54:49Speaker 6: I did cuss that the fireworks.
- 54:53Speaker 1: The fireworks.
- 54:56Speaker 6: Because I felt like one of them was too close
- 54:59Speaker 6: and I felt a little man too close. All right,
- 55:12Speaker 6: go on, Tommy, all right?
- 55:15Speaker 11: Coming up next to Strawberry letter, the subject is he's

- 56:35Speaker 1: I don't know is that Stella Junior's dog.
- 56:43Speaker 6: Over there? Just Holly now?
- 56:45Speaker 3: He mad?
- 56:46Speaker 2: He got to get him take care of a little puffy.
- 56:49Speaker 2: I told him I'll buying him the letter that type.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Stuff like that.
- 56:55Speaker 6: Type. Damn dog ain't no good when they break in.
- 57:02Speaker 11: All right, Here we go with the lever as Junior
- 57:06Speaker 11: takes care of Stella. All right, Dear Stephen Shirley, My
- 57:09Speaker 11: live in Lover is a trip. He moved in with
- 57:12Speaker 11: me nine years ago, and I made room for him
- 57:15Speaker 11: and his dog. I let his son stay here for
- 57:18Speaker 11: a few months last year, and I put him out
- 57:21Speaker 11: because he broke my kitchen faucet and didn't have money
- 57:24Speaker 11: to fix it. We didn't speak for months, but he
- 57:27Speaker 11: called me recently and said he joined his mom's church
- 57:30Speaker 11: and he stopped popping pills. He said he wanted to
- 57:34Speaker 11: see me, but he didn't want to come by the
- 57:36Speaker 11: house because he's still upset with his daddy. He came
- 57:39Speaker 11: up to my job the next day looking like he
- 57:41Speaker 11: hadn't eaten in a while. It started out with him
- 57:44Speaker 11: asking if he could borrow twenty dollars and I gave
- 57:47Speaker 11: it to him. Then he came clean about what happened
- 57:50Speaker 11: to my kitchen sink. He said his daddy was trying
- 57:54Speaker 11: to have sex with my neighbor on the counter, and
- 57:56Speaker 11: she grabbed the fawcet and pulled it out. He had
- 58:00Speaker 11: no reason to lie on his daddy, but I was
- 58:02Speaker 11: looking at him side eyed. Anyway, the neighbor walks around
- 58:06Speaker 11: her yard in her nightgown, and believe me, she ain't
- 58:09Speaker 11: got nothing a man should want. I asked this young
- 58:12Speaker 11: man why he was telling me all of this and
- 58:15Speaker 11: going against his daddy, and he said it's because I've
- 58:18Speaker 11: been good to him. I ended up giving him a
- 58:20Speaker 11: little more money before he left, because he is trying
- 58:24Speaker 11: to get an apartment. I told my honey exactly what
- 58:27Speaker 11: his son had told me, and he said all of
- 58:30Speaker 11: it's true, and he never wanted his son to take
- 58:33Speaker 11: the blame for it. I told him is out now
- 58:35Speaker 11: and that's the end of it. He asked if I
- 58:38Speaker 11: was going to talk to to the neighbor, and I
- 58:41Speaker 11: assured him that I wouldn't. It's been a week and
- 58:44Speaker 11: my honey said he can't believe how I reacted. I
- 58:48Speaker 11: told him I am fine, but I'll never sleep with
- 58:50Speaker 11: him again in my life. I'm sixty two years old.
- 58:53Speaker 11: So what does he expect me to do? Is the
- 58:55Speaker 11: punishment too harsh? No, this isn't punishment at all. I mean,
- 59:01Speaker 11: he still get everything. He's still he already had except
- 59:05Speaker 11: one thing. I mean, I'm really shaking my head at
- 59:08Speaker 11: this letter. First, stop giving his son money. He's a
- 59:11Speaker 11: grown man. Let him figure it out and trust me
- 59:13Speaker 11: he will. Don't be an enabler to this young man.
- 59:16Speaker 1: And I get it.
- 59:17Speaker 11: He told you about his dad and a neighbor lady,
- 59:20Speaker 11: but that doesn't mean you owe him anything.
- 59:23Speaker 1: He can get a job right his dad. On the
- 59:26Speaker 1: other hand, why are you still with him?
- 59:28Speaker 11: I know you said you're gonna stop sleeping with him,
- 59:31Speaker 11: but it's not enough that you simply don't have sex
- 59:34Speaker 11: with him anymore. That's not enough. I mean what he
- 59:36Speaker 11: did was foul, and he is the one who doesn't
- 59:40Speaker 11: care when you really think about it. He's the one
- 59:43Speaker 11: that's been doing the neighbor. Remember, and in your house.
- 59:46Speaker 11: Remember she's the one that broke the sink, remember your
- 59:49Speaker 11: kitchen sink. Put your man out too, You put his
- 59:52Speaker 11: son out. Put him out. You've been with this guy
- 59:55Speaker 11: for nine years and what nothing? Get him out so
- 59:59Speaker 11: you can move on because he's doing nothing for you,
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: nothing but doing the neighbor. It doesn't matter that you
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: say you don't care, you still shouldn't allow him to
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: treat you this way. I mean, where's your self respect?
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: And why are you keeping him anyway?
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: For what?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I don't get it, Steve.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: For me to come back off vacation to this letter
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: right here is alarming to me. It's just this title
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: of this letter. Is he mad because I don't care?
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: You don't care? Right, you don't care. Watch how much
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: I don't care. I bet you can't. I'll kill me
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: in this letter because there's so much messing this letter.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I don't even understand now having read the whole letter.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I have the luxury of coming to some conclusions early,
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: but I was having these sane conclusions making notes while
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Shirley was talking. Steven, Shirley, my living in Lover is
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: a trip right there. He moved in with me nine
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: years ago, and I made room for.
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: Him and his dog, all right. I let his son
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: stay here for a.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Few months last year, and I put him out because
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: he broke my kitchen faucet and didn't have the money
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: to fix it. How old is this boy that come
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: and stay with you and break the kitchen faucet, That's
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: what the story is so far, and ain't got the
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: money to fix it. We didn't speak for months, but
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: he called me recently and said he joined his mom's church.
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: Well, praise God, hallelujah.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: But here go the second part of that sentence, and
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: he stopped popping peels.
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: Oh you're a junkie too, now, okay, okay.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Oh, oh you're a junkie too.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Oh now we ain't just great that's joined the church.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Now all of a sudden, you're gonna reveal that you
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: are junkie. Now, okay, now I'm popping on none. That's
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: the part where I'm not really caring about you no more.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: He said he wanted to see me, but he didn't
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: want to come by the house because he's still upset
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: with his daddy. He came up to my job the
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: next day looking like he ain't eight in a while. Okay, now,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: let me get this right. You think he broke a
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: faucet that he didn't have the money to fix. You
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: put him out. He came back, he joined at mama church.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: He'd have stopped popping pills, and now it looked like
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: he ain't eate in a while.
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: Sounds like he's still eating pills to me.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: That's what it sounded like to me. You come up
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: on a job and look like you ain't eight in
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: a while. Nah, you're back to eating pills. When we
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: come back, okay, we'll have too.
- 1:02:41Speaker 11: Of Steve's doesn't care response coming up in twenty three
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter subject He's mad
- 1:02:49Speaker 11: because I don't Care. We'll get back into it right
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: after this. It's time to talk about life insurance. It's
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: one of those things that everyone should have. Globe Life
- 1:03:00Speaker 11: makes it easy with no medical exam, just a simple
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: application and coverage options up to one hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Get the coverage you need in twenty twenty five.
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: Go online at globelifradio dot com or call one eight
- 1:03:14Speaker 11: hundred two five one fifty four hundred to apply in minutes.
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: That's Globelifradio dot com or one eight hundred two five
- 1:03:22Speaker 11: one fifty four hundred. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:03:25Speaker 11: recap this letter today. It's called He's mad because I don't.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Care, And the letter keyword is I don't care, And
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: after reading this letter, damn it.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: We don't either. All right, here we go.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: We gotta try to help you.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: I ain't got no help for you. You had him.
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: You got to live in love, have been with you
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: nine years. You made room for him and his dog.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: You let his son stayed a few months ago, and
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: you put him out because he broke the kitchen fosset
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: and did have money to fix it. We ain't speak
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: for most, but he called me up recently and said
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: he joined his mom's church. Like I said, Praise God, God, hallelujah.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: And said he joined his mom's church and he stopped popping.
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: Pill Okay, let's just keep it old school.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: You had junkies stay in at Chad, all right, He
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: said he can stop popping pills. He said he wanted
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: to see me, but he didn't want to come by
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: the house because he's still upset with his daddy. Well
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: we don't know why yet, but we'll find out in
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: a minute. He came up to my job the next
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: day looking like he hadn't eaten in a while. Okay, now,
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: who you know looked like they ain't ate in a while, junkies.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Junkies always looked like they ain't ate in a while.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I'm just telling you.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: I'm just telling you right now. And then he proved it.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: And then it started out with him asking could he
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: bowed twenty dollars. Who the last person asked you to
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: ball twenty dollars a junkie crackhead, to be exact, twenty
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: dollars is they number? That's that number. If somebody asked
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: you for twenty, that's the magic number. Twenty. What do
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: twenty fix in your life? Twenty? And I gave it
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: to her. Now after you now this, how much a
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: junkie he is. After you gave him the twenty, he
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: came clean. Now he ain't get clean now. He just
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: wanted to show you his appreciation for fixing that fix
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: that he needed. He said, wanted to come clean about
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: what happened to his kitchen. See, he said, is daddy
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: was trying to have sex with my neighbor on the counter,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: and she grabbed a falcet and pulled it out. Now,
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: now you say later on in the letter that she
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: walks around in her nightgown and she ain't got nothing
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: nobody wanting.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: Okay, I'm gonna soume right now.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: This is a big girl, because I'm gonna tell you
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: right now, anybody can pull a falcet out the damn wall.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: You're strong.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: That's a big girl.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Right now, I'm just gonna tell you right now, this
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: is a big girl went up on that because I
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: don'et been up on the kitchen counter before anybody ever
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: pulled the whole falcet out.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: The damn wa.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: This a big girl right here, This a big girl
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: moved right here. Who you know, I can't pull the falter.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: I was thinking, I'm strong here this big girl that
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: got up on that counch man and just snatched that
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: whole whole fawcet out.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: The damn wak because listen to me, she grabbed a
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: fawcet and pulled it out. Who do that?
- 1:06:17Speaker 12: Who?
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: You ain't even You ain't got monkey rich, you ain't
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: got you ain't got a crescent. Yeah, a plumber got
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: to a plumber got to have a tool set. She
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: reached over there and grabbed it and pulled it out.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: The damn wall. That's lute, the plaster, the drive, all everything.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: He had told her piping out. This a big girl.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: I'm just telling you, this a big girl. And so
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: he had no reason to low on his daddy. But
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: I was looking at him side eye. Yeah you damn night,
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: because you're in here telling on his daddy and stuff.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: But that's so he can keep that twenty dollars pipeline open. See,
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: you're giving him twenty dollars because he back to popping piels.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: He a junkie, because twenty dollars is your junken number.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: So when he peeled his twenty dollars and crack his
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: twenty dollars here, that's the junking number. So now you
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: gave him twenty so to keep the junket pipeline open.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Hedne told only damn daddy. I'll be damn told on
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: your daddy. And then you said, the neighbor walks around
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: in her yard and her night gout, and believe me,
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: she ain't got nothing a man should want.
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: Well, your husband don't want it no more either.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: But but now y'all got to fix that whole whole
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: kitchen cause he just throw that walll out. What I
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: asked this young man wife was up. It was just
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: it was just a cross, Charlie. You got everybody listening
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: to me. Got an apartment on the house. Go in
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: there right now and pull your foss and see if
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: you can tell it how to walk.
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: I'm just you ain't got your saying nothing.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: We got the the box.
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: We ain't sit up here, figure, Steve, right or not?
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Just take your answers in any room in your house
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: and just try to pull your falter dout tacked to
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: your walk and see how long you be over there.
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: I'm just telling you right now, this is a big girl.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: The rest of my case, I stand on business when
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: I say this a big ass woman right here. She
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: ripped the boxer out of tea him more anyway, I
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: asked him, said because And I asked him why was
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: he doing this against his daddy?
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: He said, because I've been good to him. That's right.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: You gave him twenty. Once you give a junkie a fix,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: then you got him forever. So now I ended up
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: giving him a little more money because he left because
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: he's trying to get an apartment. Lady, listen to me.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Junkies can't get apartments. I'm telling you right now. That's
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: a whole lot of twenties stopped. He told you he
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: tried to get an apartment. Lady, lady, you can't go
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: from looking real hungry to getting twenty. He asked for twenty,
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: and now you gave him a little bit more because

- 1:11:15Speaker 8: but they fired at one hour after the game.
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: He ain't even go.
- 1:11:17Speaker 13: Get to see the team.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: He ain't take a shower, He ain't take a shower nothing.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: But did you see Robert Craft's explanation of it. Yeah,
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: it's on me, he said, this is on me. I
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: set him up to fail. I didn't give him the
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: right tools around it. He's an excellent guy. He should
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: be a head coach somewhere. He just wasn't given the
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: right opportunity and he got into early.
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: What team yeah, Robert Trow, Yes, so.
- 1:11:50Speaker 8: He had was just give him all the tools, how
- 1:11:53Speaker 8: the people he need, ask him what he needs, and
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: let him stay for another season.
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: Man, you can't do nothing.
- 1:11:59Speaker 13: You can't trying to team around in one season, right
- 1:12:02Speaker 13: head coaches?
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Man, there ain't been nothing since Tom Brady left. You
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: can't blame the brother for this man.
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: Right, that's right, but also this ought to be good
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: for you. I'm down in Cleveland, man. You know y'all
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: got the number two pick in the draft.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: Hell yeah, who the hell we're gonna pick with it
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: though we ain't have picking so long.
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: What it's one of my draft says sh Door Sanders
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: could come to the Browns, would you how you feel
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: about that?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Would that work for you?
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: No?
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: No, no, no, because I like Prime too much. I
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: don't want his son up there in Cleveland because we'll
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: turn on his ass so fast.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: One hundred Steve, I wanted let me tell you something.
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: I love that. I love Prime.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I ain't gonna be able to save We all do that,
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: but they're gonna turn on him so fast he won't
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: even have a career. Go somewhere else, and play boy,
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: don't come up to Cleveland, do it? Hate is really clevel?
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: What about that? I don't care if Dallas don't even
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: have a pick? No, not not no.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: I love that kid too much and I love Prime.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: We're personal close friends. No, hell no, we go fishing together.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: We don't have time.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: I was gonna ask him a question coming up at
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: the top of the hour.
- 1:13:28Speaker 11: A single woman, Steve needs to know if she should
- 1:13:31Speaker 11: lower her standards or dump the guy. We'll get into
- 1:13:34Speaker 11: that right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:13:37Speaker 11: Morning Show. All right, Steve, this is from Daisy and
- 1:13:41Speaker 11: the DMV. Daisy said, I had a great first date
- 1:13:45Speaker 11: with the man that I met online. We went Christmas
- 1:13:47Speaker 11: shopping and then we sat and talked for hours. On
- 1:13:51Speaker 11: our second date, he let me pick the restaurant and
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: I chose my favorite Hibachi grill. When we got the bill,
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: he said I had to pay it since I ordered
- 1:14:00Speaker 11: a lot of food without asking him what his budget was.
- 1:14:03Speaker 11: I paid the bill and he took me home. He
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: expected to come inside, but I was too turned off.
- 1:14:10Speaker 11: Since then we talked about what went wrong, and he
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: apologized and paid me back. He asked me to go
- 1:14:16Speaker 11: on a third date to a restaurant where you can
- 1:14:19Speaker 11: eat and play games. I would never choose to go
- 1:14:22Speaker 11: there for dinner. Should I lower my standards, keep an
- 1:14:26Speaker 11: open mind and go on a third date, or should
- 1:14:29Speaker 11: I cancel?
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: That's your question.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Well, let's hold on one second, young lady. Let's hold on.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: You have learned a valuable lesson here. You can train
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: a man how to treat you. Once you felt bad
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: about it, he went, oh, my bad, because what he
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: was doing was practicing prior behavior. So now he said,
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: hold on, man, let me pay his sister back. Because
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: the mistake he made was you picked the place. Well,
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: you picked the place, and then he said that'll be
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: our second date. Then when it bill came, it was
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: too much food. He made you pay. Well, you were
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: turned off, fight as you should be, or you expressed it.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: So what he did was, okay, let me correct my mistake.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: I paid you for it. So the third date, y'all
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: went to a place where you eat and play games.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: You know, that's Dave and Buster. He ain't nowhere else.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: I don't know no where else you can as an
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: adult unless you at Chuck e Cheese. And I really
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: don't think he took your ass down the Chucky Cheese.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: I've been to Chucky Cheese with the keys before, and
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you right now is suicidal. But if
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: he took you to Dave and Buster, which is a
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: place you'd never go, is not saying you lower your standards.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: Maybe he's just being a little bit more versatile, and
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: maybe he's got some financial things that you need to
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: find out about, but quit looking for a man that's
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: financially ready, because some men need to be built and
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: you could be in the process of finding that guy.
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: So I don't think it's lowering your standards.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: If you don't want to go to the place to
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: eat and play games, you can say that, but you know,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: I would give it a chance.
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: What does she order at that harbachi grill? Though? What
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: did she get?
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: She probably that was probably Bennie Hannah, you know, can
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: get a little high. You keep on with that lofta.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: He keep adding that lofta to that. They got everything
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: on that, you know.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: Once he's spinning that egg around and light the onion,
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: old fire fell whatever, yeah, you know, and then you
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: do that again, oh you know.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Then they bring you know, and then they bring that
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: tray out with the other meat on it and all
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: this here, you know, that's all it was. That's a
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: favorite hibachi grill with Benny hann And he just got
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: out of hand, sh ordered a lot of food.
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: You know, people shitting there with some other people you
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: don't even know around the man.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: I can't stand now. I can't stand now if I
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: can't get the table to myself with who I'm with?
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: Wayne? Wayne fin to do this here all right?
- 1:16:52Speaker 11: See we have time for another one. This is from
- 1:16:54Speaker 11: Tracy and Jacksonville. Tracy says, my boyfriend and I just
- 1:16:58Speaker 11: had sex for the first time. Before things got started,
- 1:17:01Speaker 11: I did some pregame activities, but I was surprised when
- 1:17:04Speaker 11: he said he doesn't do that and would never do that.
- 1:17:07Speaker 11: But it's fine if that's what I like to do.
- 1:17:09Speaker 11: We've been debating on whether or not he should have
- 1:17:12Speaker 11: told me that before we got started.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: What do you think, Well, he ain't know what you
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: was gonna do. See you surprised. Ladies, listen to me.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: If you know that you are heavily involved in tricky activity,
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: save it. Don't let it be the first time Kate
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: return to the bed and pull out the big pink
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: suitcase on the first date.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Just got to have regular sex. You can't be in
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: here lighting fires, and you can't be in here cutting
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: stuff on. You can't be in here, Kate all the time.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: You can't be in here starting stuff up because everybody
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: ain't ready for that. Now that little feather you got,
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: everybody don't want that feather with everybody.
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: Don't want that. Okay, so you got the note.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: No you broke out the rabbit and the bullet and
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: all this hell, don't everybody ain't got.
- 1:18:07Speaker 6: Time for that.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: This is a public service announcement.
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: Thank you. See you got one. He got the big
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: purple one.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: And whoa wait, binge, you're done. You're coming here, You're done,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: coming up.
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: After the hour, we got more of this ignorant show.
- 1:18:21Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:27Speaker 11: The thirty ninth president and the oldest president of the
- 1:18:29Speaker 11: United States, Jimmy Carter, died December twenty ninth.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: He was one hundred years old.

- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred.
- 1:18:41Speaker 11: Former President Carter's funeral started in his home state of
- 1:18:43Speaker 11: Georgia this past Saturday, and we'll end tomorrow with official

- 1:18:51Speaker 11: d C. President Joe Biden has declared that Thursday, January ninth,
- 1:18:55Speaker 11: that is tomorrow, is a national day of mourning, and

- 1:19:07Speaker 1: You know what that means. Yesdive.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: I just want to say to my partner, Cash, who
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: found that out that his funeral has started in the.
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: State of Georgia and was gonna go all the way
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: up to.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: My partner just said, I don't want my funeral to
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: last that long, and I told him, don't worry, it.
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: Won't you Feneral gonna be about an hour and a
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: half tops.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: And then you're not going straight from the church to
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: the cemetery.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: And then after that we're gonna take these flags off
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: these cars and everybody going to the house. So these
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: flags are gonna be half mans for thirty days. And
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: you think Trump not gonna let them flag back up?
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: No, he's upset.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: No, yeah, he's already upset about it.
- 1:19:46Speaker 11: Yeah, to shout out to President Jimmy Carter for starting

- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's true.

- 1:23:24Speaker 6: It, I did be damn look at here? Yeah?
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: All that all right?
- 1:23:33Speaker 11: Would you rather be a handsome millionaire or a very

- 1:24:47Speaker 11: day on this Wednesday.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Uh Wow, new year, Steve.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: New you Yeah, here's my clothes remarks. You know what
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: was this is a new year.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: You know people that you're still meeting people going hey,
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: happy New Year. You know, I think after the tenth
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: you should stop saying Happy New Year. It's ten days in.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: I think we all to make that to cut off
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: point at least the tenth. After the tenth you ain't
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: saying Happy New Year. Were in it now? I think
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: everybody should, like I said at the beginning, start twenty
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: twenty five off with two things, gratitude and determination. I mean,
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: you've got to be grateful. I mean, when you look
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: at this number, twenty twenty five, that's a big number, man,
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: And the older you are, the bigger, the bigger you
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: realize this number is. I mean, if you'd have told
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: me in nineteen sixty five that I would be living
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five, that was unthinkable for me.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: Now I was a little boy back then, twenty twenty.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: Five, What are you talking about In the year nineteen
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: ninety nine, Remember when all of that was going on,
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: people was predicting the end of the world. In two thousand,
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: I went out and bought a generator, just in case
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: somebody flipped the switch and cut the power off. You know,
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: I went and got me a generator, getting ready, and
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: nothing happened, and all that that. That was twenty five
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: years ago. As I'm going into twenty twenty five, I'm
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: going in with two things. First of all, gratitude. I'm
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: just grateful to God let me live. I can't believe
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: he has let me live this long. I can't believe
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: he has blessed me with the amount of health that
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: I have, the amount of the will that I have,
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: the ability to think rationally, to speak, to talk.
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: Whatever measure of health you have, you should be healthy.
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: I mean you should be grateful. Now.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: I know some of us are not as health as
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: we like to be, but man, you still hear. But
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: on top this gratitude is the way that you get
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: more things given to you, do you know, And you
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: have to understand this. The more grateful you are, the
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: more grateful. The more grateful you are, the more things
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: God will give you to be grateful for. The more
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: gratitude you show, the more things He will give you
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: to show gratitude about. The more times you say thank you,
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: the more stuff He will give you to be thankful for.
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: I'm trying to get you to understand it, however, I
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: need to say it to you. But the more giving of.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Gratitude you do in twenty twenty five, the more things
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: He will do for you to be grateful.
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: Because what God is, He's a just God.
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: God understands that if you are complaining about what you
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: have right now, why would he give you some more?
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: Let me just think about that. That's fair, ain't it?
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: Ain't that fair?
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: If I've given you this and you're complaining about this,
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: why would I give you more when this has caused
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: you nothing but misery to complain about. You know, some people,
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: and you complain yourself out of a blessing. You gotta
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: stop that. In twenty twenty five, I can't believe I'm
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: still living in this house.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: Whoa, whoa, whoa whoa. Woh back up a little bit.
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: How about you?
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: You can't believe you still living and I can't how
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: you can't believe you still living in this house that
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: God gave you.
- 1:28:22Speaker 6: Remember that was a time when you asked him for
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: that house. Do you remember that? You know?
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: See, sometimes, man, we get stuck because we get stuck
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: in the gratitude phase. Remember when you ask God for
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: that car, and now that car has gotten old. You see,
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: you stop being grateful for the car. So now since
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: you ain't grateful for that car, why would God give
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: you another car? You gotta understand, sometimes we get stuck
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: in our gratitude and we can't move forward because we
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: don't have no gratitude. You remember when you needed a
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: place to stay and God gave it to you. It
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: may not be ultimately what you wanted, but I remember
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: when you just wanted that apartment, when you just wanted
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: to get in somewhere, and you got in it. Now
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: you're complaining about it. Well, now he's just going wild.
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: Every time I give you something you asked me for,
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: you end up complaining about it. So let me stop
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: giving you stuff. Don't you understand You've got to get
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: more gratitude. The second thing I'm going into twenty twenty
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: five with is determination. I am determined. I am determined
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: to do God's will. I am determined to be a
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: better person. I am determined to allow God more purpose
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: in my life. I am determined to ask God more
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: and more to order my stealth. I am determined to
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: ask God what is his.
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: Will in my life?
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: You know how many plans I've made that God allowed
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: me to make because he gives us the power choice.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: But they weren't really what he wanted me to do.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: But since he created us and he gave us the
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: power choice, you know, we get that decision right. And
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: how many times He's had allowed these choices I've made
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: to go down the path I chose to go down,
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: and then He had to show me along in the
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: way that ain't what I.
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: Want you to do.
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: So this year, I'm more determined to find out His
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: will for me. So I have plans, I have aspirations
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: that have things that I've set up that I want
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: to accomplish. But I'm also asking God to make sure
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: that this is aligned with your will. And if it
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: ain't for me, then show me quickly that it's not
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: for me. No, let me do like I've been doing.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: Let me go down this Donnybrook path for a year
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: and a half to discover that ain't the path you
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: wanted me because let me stop doing what I want
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: to do all the time. And I'm just more determined
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: to submit to God's will in my life. So that's
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: my plan for this this year in twenty twenty five.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: I'm in in twenty twenty five with more gratitude, and
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: I'm walking in with a whole lot more determination. Now
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: my WheelPower is strong. I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie to you. I just believe that
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: God got me on the course, and I'm determined to
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: get that. And no amount of haters is gonna shake
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: me off course this year. Hate if you won't, hate
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: if you will. When you hit through, I'm in God's hands.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: So I invite y'all to do the same. More gratitude,
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: more determinent. Y'all have yourself greatfulpect even with the downfalls.
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: And the problem is that for our faith I'll get
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: y'all have a great thank for all.
