- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn the mouth out, turn a
- 1:47Speaker 5: w the mon a. Look come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out, you think, Uh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You all listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:11Speaker 6: thank God for it every day. I try to remember
- 2:13Speaker 6: that too, you know. I try to remember to be grateful.
- 2:17Speaker 6: I think gratitude is one of the things that helps
- 2:21Speaker 6: keep me grounded. You can go as far as you
- 2:24Speaker 6: want in life. If you don't mind who gets the credit. Well,
- 2:27Speaker 6: that applies to God too, don't it. I mean, you know, really,
- 2:30Speaker 6: if you don't mind who gets the credit. I'm surrounded
- 2:35Speaker 6: by very competent people. I'm surrounded by a lot of
- 2:39Speaker 6: people who work hard on their jobs on their career,
- 2:44Speaker 6: who are dedicated employees and also just dedicated to their
- 2:49Speaker 6: families and you know, dedicated to their own set of aspirations.
- 2:53Speaker 6: I don't expect anybody to work for me forever. I
- 2:58Speaker 6: always look at my job opportunit. These are stepping stones
- 3:02Speaker 6: because I want everyone around me really to aspire to
- 3:05Speaker 6: be more. I mean, that's really the way I am.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I'm not any other way. I'm not trying to hold
- 3:11Speaker 6: you to this position. You know, tell you there's no
- 3:14Speaker 6: room for growth any of that. But even though I'm
- 3:19Speaker 6: surrounded by these people, I'm grateful that God placed them
- 3:25Speaker 6: in my path in my life. But in my mind,
- 3:32Speaker 6: in my spirit, in everything in me, the credit still
- 3:37Speaker 6: belongs to God. I'm sorry. The credit still belongs to God.
- 3:44Speaker 6: See if you would, just for a moment, stop thinking
- 3:50Speaker 6: about yourself, just for a moment. I know that's hard,
- 3:53Speaker 6: but just for a moment, stop thinking about yourself and
- 3:57Speaker 6: realize that maybe you are who you are because God
- 4:01Speaker 6: is who he is. Maybe that's the case. Have you
- 4:05Speaker 6: ever considered that? That's the strongest possibility I can give
- 4:09Speaker 6: to you? You know, how do you think you the
- 4:13Speaker 6: one that made it through? How you think you the
- 4:17Speaker 6: one after all of the ignorant decisions we have made?
- 4:21Speaker 6: And oh my goodness, let's all be honest. Ain't we
- 4:25Speaker 6: made some crazy decisions I'm talking about, Man, I have
- 4:28Speaker 6: made decisions so adverse to my destiny and career, my promises.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I've made some decisions.
- 4:37Speaker 6: Man, knowingly you hear me knowingly do something wrong, and
- 4:42Speaker 6: in spite of all that, I'm.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Still here standing.
- 4:46Speaker 6: Okay, come on now, really, really, all the dirt you'd done,
- 4:51Speaker 6: done everybody done dirt, all the mistakes you've made, you
- 4:57Speaker 6: in the position you in today because of what? Because
- 5:00Speaker 6: you all that? Because you work harder than anybody else. Look,
- 5:06Speaker 6: I work hard, I'll be I'll tell you in a minute.
- 5:09Speaker 6: I work hard. But I don't think I'm the hardest
- 5:11Speaker 6: working person out there. I'm pretty sure somebody done worked
- 5:15Speaker 6: way harder than I have. So okay, so you work hard? Okay, cool,
- 5:19Speaker 6: I got all that. But man, what about his grace
- 5:25Speaker 6: and his mercy? What about his favor? How many times, man,
- 5:31Speaker 6: you donet relied on that, even when you ain't know
- 5:33Speaker 6: you was relying on it? How many times man, God
- 5:37Speaker 6: done shown you mercy? You ain't even deserve it? Do
- 5:40Speaker 6: you know how many things I've done wrong? I just
- 5:42Speaker 6: ain't get caught at it? You know, Let me see
- 5:47Speaker 6: how simple I can be? You speed you jwall. You
- 5:53Speaker 6: lie to police when you get pulled over that you
- 5:56Speaker 6: wasn't speeding. You go to court and argue you wasn't
- 5:59Speaker 6: speeding when you was. You make U turns. I'm just
- 6:04Speaker 6: doing traffic violations. Now, let's get off traffic for a second.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Let's get on human violations. You talk about people when
- 6:14Speaker 6: you're not supposed to. You indulge yourself in gossip even
- 6:19Speaker 6: when you don't really have all the facts. You pass judgment,
- 6:25Speaker 6: You lust for people that don't belong to you. You
- 6:30Speaker 6: say things to people that you're not supposed to say. So, look,
- 6:37Speaker 6: all of us, we all were all guilty. Now see
- 6:42Speaker 6: I'm not saying you do all of that, but I'm
- 6:44Speaker 6: saying I'm pretty sure I hit you somewhere in there,
- 6:47Speaker 6: just somewhere in there. You don't lie before you know
- 6:51Speaker 6: you lied recently. I mean, come on, And I'm just
- 6:54Speaker 6: saying so with all that in mind. See, I'm just
- 6:57Speaker 6: looking at the little things that we do that we
- 6:58Speaker 6: don't get busted for. Not to mention the chips you
- 7:01Speaker 6: stole when you was a kid and nobody caught you. Well,
- 7:04Speaker 6: that elevated didn't and some of y'all just didn't stop stealing,
- 7:08Speaker 6: and next thing you know, you was in a car.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Now you're sitting somewhere you don't want to be sitting
- 7:12Speaker 6: because of a decision you made. But through his grace
- 7:15Speaker 6: and mercy, couldn't it have been worse?
- 7:17Speaker 1: Though?
- 7:17Speaker 6: Without his grace and mercy, could not it have been worse.
- 7:21Speaker 6: I know two dudes that got caught in the garage
- 7:24Speaker 6: one time trying to break in somebody's house, and the
- 7:26Speaker 6: person in the house they broke into just happened to
- 7:28Speaker 6: have a gun and held them in the garage, caught
- 7:33Speaker 6: them and held them to the garage to the police car.
- 7:36Speaker 6: That's Grace and Mercy right there, because they had all
- 7:39Speaker 6: full right to shoot these two people, but they didn't.
- 7:42Speaker 6: They're Grace and Mercy. See, all of us have benefited
- 7:46Speaker 6: from his grace and mercy.
- 7:48Speaker 1: All of us have.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Done a wrong, committed a sin, broken the law, and somehow,
- 7:52Speaker 6: through his grace and mercy, got by, doing drugs, buying drugs,
- 7:56Speaker 6: slanging drugs, doing something, got by, jumped on somebody and
- 8:00Speaker 6: for no reason got by. You know, So see how
- 8:05Speaker 6: you figure with all that that can go on in
- 8:07Speaker 6: your life? And then hold on, let me throw a
- 8:10Speaker 6: couple more at you.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You can't wake yourself up in the morning, mister big shot.
- 8:17Speaker 6: You don't have the ability to control the breaths that
- 8:21Speaker 6: you take. Really, mister big shot, really, let's get real
- 8:25Speaker 6: basic with it now.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You can't wake yourself up in the morning.
- 8:30Speaker 6: That's favor, that's grace, that's mercy, that's Him allowing you
- 8:38Speaker 6: to wake up just hoping we get it right. You know,
- 8:43Speaker 6: God spared me through all the dirt I was doing
- 8:45Speaker 6: just hoping. One day, man, can you just straighten up
- 8:48Speaker 6: a little bit? When I finally straightened up, And I'm
- 8:51Speaker 6: gonna just say it, straightened up a little bit. See,
- 8:54Speaker 6: I ain't straightened up all the way. Say I ain't
- 8:56Speaker 6: gonna sit here and tell you that I just straightened
- 8:58Speaker 6: up a little bit. He started blessing me. So the
- 9:01Speaker 6: more blessings I got start going, Man, maybe I'll try
- 9:03Speaker 6: straighten up a little bit more. So I straightened up
- 9:05Speaker 6: a little bit more. I still got a long way
- 9:07Speaker 6: to go, but I'm straighter than I was now. When
- 9:10Speaker 6: people judging me, and as they will, and they do,
- 9:13Speaker 6: because that ain't right, but they do, and I ain't
- 9:15Speaker 6: walking just the way they walk.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Then here come to criticism. I get it all the time.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Stop wanting credit all the time, and give out some
- 9:22Speaker 6: credit where credit is due instead of having somebody patting
- 9:26Speaker 6: you on your back all the time. Why don't you
- 9:28Speaker 6: tell God kill people it was really was God? Man
- 9:31Speaker 6: that you don't really know how you made it? That
- 9:33Speaker 6: really man, you have no explanation for your success or
- 9:36Speaker 6: you have no explanation why you still exist in today.
- 9:39Speaker 6: Why don't you tell somebody it was God today? Don't
- 9:41Speaker 6: be ashamed. It's the truth, ain't it. I mean, really, man,
- 9:46Speaker 6: let's give God some credit here. Give God the credit
- 9:49Speaker 6: and the glory and the honor. And like that plaque said,
- 9:52Speaker 6: you can go as far as you want in life
- 9:54Speaker 6: if you don't mind who gets the credit.
- 9:56Speaker 7: All right, you're listening morning show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 6: It's a new day, a new dawning, a new opportunity.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I can't tell you how good it is.
- 10:10Speaker 6: Man, Yeah, man, oh man, man, if you up this morning,
- 10:13Speaker 6: you ought to be grateful about it. You know what
- 10:14Speaker 6: I'm saying. If you got, if you got any measure
- 10:18Speaker 6: of health, you know, like I got a couple of
- 10:20Speaker 6: health ailments. That's kind of nagging and been nagging me
- 10:23Speaker 6: for a while. I wake up still grateful because guess what,
- 10:26Speaker 6: I can handle it. I can deal with it. And
- 10:28Speaker 6: he gonna get me through that too. Why because they
- 10:31Speaker 6: always has it is not a doubt in my mind,
- 10:34Speaker 6: This too shall pass. Why would it not. I don't understand.
- 10:39Speaker 6: I'm good man. I'm telling you I got the right attitude.
- 10:43Speaker 6: And today you.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Know what I You know what I said this morning?
- 10:47Speaker 6: I asked God to order my steps, ask God to
- 10:51Speaker 6: go with me, protect me from evil. I ask him
- 10:56Speaker 6: to put the right people in my path, and anybody
- 10:59Speaker 6: that don't need to be in my life removed him.
- 11:02Speaker 6: That ain't bad thing to has he been doing a
- 11:04Speaker 6: good job. It's been like the publisher's clearing house for
- 11:08Speaker 6: me this year. So it's all good, all am Waiting

- 11:32Speaker 6: I don't want to.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna I don't want to, but it's become.
- 11:39Speaker 6: A morning habit because I asked Junior what's on his mind?
- 11:42Speaker 6: But can I be honest with you?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:45Speaker 6: Sure, I don't really want to know what's on your mind,
- 11:49Speaker 6: deep down, deep down in surface.
- 11:54Speaker 8: This one's kind of easy, though. This was kind of
- 11:56Speaker 8: alright here, I go, all right, so you know my

- 12:12Speaker 8: At what point, as a parent, do you sit your
- 12:15Speaker 8: child down and let them know this sport.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Ain't for you? I mean at what point?
- 12:19Speaker 8: Because I mean, well you can clearly see this is
- 12:22Speaker 8: not the sport for your child.
- 12:23Speaker 1: At what point? I just I.

- 14:25Speaker 8: Hey, listen, I wanted to get an appointment with you, man.
- 14:29Speaker 8: Like I said, I was there a couple of weeks ago. Man,

- 14:47Speaker 12: Bro?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Dennis Man? Dennis?
- 14:49Speaker 10: Okay, Dennis?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Why?
- 14:50Speaker 10: She had Dennis about about three o'clock, man, some of
- 14:53Speaker 10: that nature. I mean, you know, I know I'm the
- 14:54Speaker 10: work of formers, you know.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Okay, three o'clock you'll be there.
- 14:57Speaker 10: Yeah, okay, Hey.
- 15:00Speaker 8: I got a little bit of a situation though, man.
- 15:02Speaker 8: That happened last time I was there. I kind of
- 15:05Speaker 8: wanted to talk to you about it, man, because it
- 15:07Speaker 8: kind of caught me off guard. So I wanted to
- 15:10Speaker 8: high let you man and see if we could rectify
- 15:13Speaker 8: the problem.
- 15:13Speaker 1: For I came back up there.
- 15:14Speaker 10: What happened I mean what was to deal?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Well, what it really wasn't somebody man, it was, it
- 15:22Speaker 1: was it was actually you.
- 15:24Speaker 10: Well, I mean, what's his deal?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Man? When you was cutting my hair, when it was time.
- 15:30Speaker 8: To turn the chair, you didn't turn the chair with
- 15:34Speaker 8: with with with with.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Your hand man.
- 15:37Speaker 8: See Brady, man, you you turned the chair with your
- 15:39Speaker 8: with your private part.
- 15:41Speaker 10: Oh, I mean, Dan, I'm a professional man. I've been
- 15:45Speaker 10: doing this fifteen years, right right.
- 15:47Speaker 8: I don't think it's anything deliberate, man, I think you
- 15:50Speaker 8: just do it unconsciously. Man.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Could you know you be leaning over on.
- 15:53Speaker 8: The chair cutting and I think you don't realize you know,
- 15:57Speaker 8: you be turning the chair with your private party, still
- 16:00Speaker 8: doing it with your hand man. And see my hands
- 16:02Speaker 8: got caught out there, and I saw it out the
- 16:05Speaker 8: con in my eyes, I saw your private part coming
- 16:07Speaker 8: towards my hand.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I moved it just in time. You understand.
- 16:11Speaker 10: But see Thennis, I'm not understanding something, bro, because I don't.
- 16:15Speaker 10: I don't. We don't operate like that, Ryn here, because
- 16:18Speaker 10: you know I don't make mistakes like that. But I mean,
- 16:20Speaker 10: you know, I don't know you You're sure you're talking
- 16:22Speaker 10: to the right person?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Man, Yeah, I mean, ain't you the third chair on
- 16:25Speaker 1: the right when you walk in the door.
- 16:27Speaker 10: Yeah, that's correct.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Okay, don't want I'm.
- 16:29Speaker 8: Talking about man, and you cut me two weeks ago,
- 16:31Speaker 8: and like I said, I really like my haircuts, so
- 16:33Speaker 8: I wanted to call back and rectify this problem. But
- 16:36Speaker 8: you know, you gotta turn the chair with your hand
- 16:38Speaker 8: and not your private part. If not, we're gonna have
- 16:40Speaker 8: a problem.
- 16:41Speaker 10: Okay, But I feel you and I understand your your
- 16:45Speaker 10: complaint and everything. I mean, I'm not understanding what you're saying,
- 16:48Speaker 10: but I don't do that, you know. I mean, we
- 16:51Speaker 10: will be laughing, you know what I'm saying, Get you
- 16:52Speaker 10: another cut or whatever?
- 16:53Speaker 6: You understand?
- 16:54Speaker 10: Men, you know, but I don't move nobody no round
- 16:58Speaker 10: with my problem.
- 16:59Speaker 4: Man.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You know that's just okay. I understand what you're saying.
- 17:02Speaker 1: But I want you to hear what i'm saying.
- 17:04Speaker 8: If you put your private on there at all when
- 17:08Speaker 8: I come in there Thursday, then I promise you I'm
- 17:11Speaker 8: gonna jump up and we're.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Gonna have a problem.
- 17:13Speaker 10: Well well let's see now now not right there, and
- 17:16Speaker 10: I'm not I'm not sitting that jump up having a
- 17:18Speaker 10: problem because you know, you don't really know me like that, Bro,
- 17:21Speaker 10: You know what I mean. I'm trying to be a
- 17:23Speaker 10: professional here and and solve your little issues that you
- 17:26Speaker 10: got to understand me. But but all is jumping up
- 17:28Speaker 10: and stuff you're talking about doing. I don't know that.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Man.
- 17:31Speaker 8: I'm trying to come in and get a nice haircut
- 17:33Speaker 8: and walk out with a nice haircut. What I don't
- 17:36Speaker 8: want to do is come down there, you lean over,
- 17:39Speaker 8: put your private part where I got my arms in
- 17:41Speaker 8: my hands, and I gotta whoop you.
- 17:43Speaker 10: Now, that's what I don't scold.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Now you're starting you're touching me wrong, talking about you're.
- 17:48Speaker 8: Talking about I'm touching you wrong. You touch me wrong
- 17:51Speaker 8: two weeks ago when you put your private on my hand.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Man, I don't want to touch it. You feel me
- 17:57Speaker 4: say what I don't know talking to man?
- 18:00Speaker 8: You know, because hey, dog, all I'm trying to say,
- 18:03Speaker 8: you know, the brother trying to come in and get
- 18:05Speaker 8: his hair cut and walk out fitting like a man
- 18:08Speaker 8: and not walk out feeling violated.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Man, because you.
- 18:10Speaker 8: Didn't turn the chair with your private part all up

- 26:28Speaker 6: because that's the trick that me and you you know.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Like that.
- 26:35Speaker 6: Well, they don't cut them down, they just don't compliment them.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not scary, but you can't keep telling why

- 27:47Speaker 1: I don't know how close he is to the zoom.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You don't think he to my wife ain't got a
- 27:50Speaker 1: lot to me. My wife tells me the truth. I know,
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'm sick. My wife tells me that all the time.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I know, I look, what should be saying something my

- 28:18Speaker 6: you what.
- 28:18Speaker 8: She moneyed, Like like if I'm getting ready to do

- 28:26Speaker 6: You know, and then and then under her breath, she said,
- 28:30Speaker 6: if he was just a lovely talker, Oh that's what
- 28:37Speaker 6: she's saying yeah, damn every time, because that's really all
- 28:42Speaker 6: is wrong with talk.

- 29:32Speaker 9: Mayor Adams since twenty twenty three of last year. Of
- 29:36Speaker 9: a November of twenty twenty three, when the FBI rated

- 29:48Speaker 9: And what's interesting is that Adams is being prosecuted by
- 29:52Speaker 9: the same US Attorney's office the Southern District of New York.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Who's going after ditty?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Wow?
- 29:58Speaker 6: Well, hold on, no, let's stop right here. I don't
- 30:02Speaker 6: know anything about his case. I just know the color
- 30:06Speaker 6: of his skin. Now watch this. Now you're about to
- 30:12Speaker 6: see what happens to you with an indictment and trying
- 30:20Speaker 6: to run a whole political office. Now you will see
- 30:27Speaker 6: what happens to people in that position. Why it is
- 30:32Speaker 6: not happening to Donald Trump is beyond me.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Now that New York at New York.
- 30:42Speaker 6: Were talking to the federal indictments. But we talk at
- 30:44Speaker 6: thirty four. But if you got a different colored skin,
- 30:49Speaker 6: you better not have one. And then watch the Democratic
- 30:56Speaker 6: Party distance they self from Eric Adams as opposed to
- 31:03Speaker 6: the Republican Party who gravitates to domin Oh man, this
- 31:10Speaker 6: is if this ain't the ying and the yang. I'm
- 31:13Speaker 6: just telling you, man that. Now you're about to see
- 31:16Speaker 6: the stark difference. And and and and and and and
- 31:21Speaker 6: and and I can only attribute it. Look, if you
- 31:24Speaker 6: broke the law, you broke the law. I understand that.
- 31:27Speaker 6: But you break the law as a black person. Different
- 31:32Speaker 6: how swiftly justice enacts itself.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Obama Trump did and get.
- 31:39Speaker 6: Away Obama Biden better not do nothing. Exactly, man, you
- 31:46Speaker 6: can't because the Democrat is here.
- 31:48Speaker 1: We come, and the our party.
- 31:53Speaker 6: Oh we're gonna distance ourselves, you know, and maybe rightfully
- 31:58Speaker 6: so I don't know. I don't know the case, but
- 32:01Speaker 6: I promise you that ain't what the Republicans is doing.
- 32:06Speaker 8: No.
- 32:06Speaker 1: All right?
- 32:07Speaker 9: Speaking of Diddy, I mentioned him earlier, his lawyer tried
- 32:11Speaker 9: tried to offer an explanation as to why Diddy had
- 32:14Speaker 9: so many bottles of baby oil and lubricant in his homes. Well,
- 32:19Speaker 9: here it is because he, like many other Americans I
- 32:23Speaker 9: see watching Steve enjoys buying in bulky.
- 32:30Speaker 6: Boy, shut up, they ain't got that much. But they
- 32:33Speaker 6: ain't got that much baby all at Costco. All sames,
- 32:39Speaker 6: He and John enjoyed buying in bulk. Don't That's like
- 32:44Speaker 6: me as a single man walking in Costco and.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Buying that five pound job manaise what is?
- 32:59Speaker 6: And just like that time Boomerang bought that ten pound
- 33:05Speaker 6: bag of frozen fruit cocktail.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Because he said he gonna have that every day we
- 33:11Speaker 1: leave a gym. You're how long we eating nothing damn fruit.
- 33:15Speaker 7: For years?
- 33:18Speaker 6: You ever had frozen fruit cocktail to sit it out? Really, boy,
- 33:23Speaker 6: let me tell you something, Puffet LRD. You need to
- 33:25Speaker 6: stop because he buying bulk.
- 33:27Speaker 9: Yeah, well, he said Costco right down the street. He said,
- 33:31Speaker 9: there's a Costco right down the street. He said, he
- 33:33Speaker 9: doesn't even think it was a thousand. He says he
- 33:36Speaker 9: thinks Americans buying bulk as we know.
- 33:40Speaker 7: Uh so, list.
- 33:44Speaker 6: He needs you do, billionaires, which is do what he
- 33:49Speaker 6: was approaching to my understanding billionaires city, don't buy nothing
- 33:55Speaker 6: that Costco.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Well, no, it ain't been the cargo.
- 34:00Speaker 6: But what that? Why is the lawyer saying that? Try
- 34:05Speaker 6: to say that he trying to save some money on
- 34:08Speaker 6: baby All? Do you know what you have to do
- 34:14Speaker 6: to try to get a rite off as a wealthy person?
- 34:18Speaker 1: But why is he lawyer? Why did he get in
- 34:21Speaker 1: the baby All conversation? He was talking to the New
- 34:24Speaker 1: York people.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I want to know.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah, what about did he bring that up?
- 34:31Speaker 9: Well he said that in the in the same breath
- 34:33Speaker 9: as he said that with the what about the.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Seven hundred and fifty plastic things they found in his house?
- 34:38Speaker 1: That's too much?
- 34:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:39Speaker 1: Oh them toy yeah buked to.
- 34:45Speaker 9: Evidently like most Americans, that's what he said, they liked
- 34:49Speaker 9: to buy and bulk.
- 34:52Speaker 6: Man like he was, he was standing on the balcony.
- 34:55Speaker 6: He got this video, Puffy, it's a real video too.
- 34:58Speaker 6: He was on the balcony up in the Hampton's or
- 35:00Speaker 6: something making announcement of one of his all white parties.
- 35:04Speaker 6: All right, we got about another hour left and all
- 35:08Speaker 6: the kids. Time for y'all to go home, because it's
- 35:11Speaker 6: finish change up in here. It's finna get serious. Yeah,
- 35:14Speaker 6: it's finna get serious. It's proof everywhere. And you know,
- 35:22Speaker 6: I'm not gloating, I'm talking about it. But this this
- 35:26Speaker 6: mess right here, man, this is so tragic.
- 35:29Speaker 1: It's just so on every level.
- 35:32Speaker 2: So sad every time I think of that.
- 35:34Speaker 6: That you would get to this position, yes, and run
- 35:38Speaker 6: yourself and all these people and for what.
- 35:43Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, we gotta move on. Coming
- 35:47Speaker 9: up for twenty minutes after the hour. President Biden says
- 35:50Speaker 9: he is at peace with his exit from the race.
- 35:52Speaker 2: But still thinks that he would have beaten Trump.
- 35:55Speaker 9: We'll talk about it right after this You're listening morning show.
- 36:01Speaker 9: During an appearance on the View on Wednesday, President Biden
- 36:05Speaker 9: said he is quote at peace with his decision to
- 36:08Speaker 9: exit the twenty twenty four race, but he says he
- 36:11Speaker 9: is still confident he would have defeated Donald Trump in November,
- 36:16Speaker 9: and he also said Vice President Harris has the energy
- 36:19Speaker 9: and intelligence to beat Trump.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 36:22Speaker 14: I was confident I would beat Trump. We thought the
- 36:27Speaker 14: way to build this country and build the economy which
- 36:31Speaker 14: was left and shattered in tatters. Yeah, was to build
- 36:34Speaker 14: a mot class, right to build, to build them class
- 36:38Speaker 14: from the bottom up in an increase. And we'd given
- 36:41Speaker 14: the poor folks an opportunity to get a middle class,
- 36:43Speaker 14: chance to grow.
- 36:44Speaker 1: And I don't think it still do well.
- 36:46Speaker 14: They should start paying taxes.
- 36:47Speaker 15: They should, yes, But.
- 36:51Speaker 14: That the other thing is that I don't know, all
- 36:56Speaker 14: of a sudden, how were so down the prospects of America.
- 37:01Speaker 14: There's nothing, nothing, nothing we've ever.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Set up to do.
- 37:04Speaker 14: We haven't able to do as a pick and we've
- 37:06Speaker 14: done together nothing nothing, And so I just think she
- 37:10Speaker 14: is uh. She has the energy, she has the intelligence,
- 37:13Speaker 14: she has the grit, she has the stamina, and she
- 37:16Speaker 14: has the guts to do the right thing.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Right President.
- 37:23Speaker 11: Right there, he really did well.
- 37:28Speaker 1: The countdown.
- 37:30Speaker 9: I like his confidence. He said, I still I'm still
- 37:33Speaker 9: confident that I would have beat Trump. Because a lot
- 37:35Speaker 9: of people at the time didn't believe that, and that's
- 37:37Speaker 9: why they were calling for him to step down.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Well, that last performance at the debate.
- 37:43Speaker 2: At the debated, Yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 6: It just made he just sounded so in there. He
- 37:46Speaker 6: sounded he didn't sound well, he didn't sound healthy.
- 37:49Speaker 2: He was that's all that was.
- 37:51Speaker 6: Yeah, nothing, and you know that could be it, And
- 37:54Speaker 6: so it's it's a better chance now. I just we
- 37:57Speaker 6: just had to get to the polls and vote. We
- 37:59Speaker 6: are the determining factor. I keep saying that, and I
- 38:03Speaker 6: don't know why. We've got to give ourselves that credit.
- 38:06Speaker 6: All you gotta do is look at the last one.
- 38:09Speaker 6: We were the deciding factor and we will be that again.
- 38:13Speaker 6: And they know it. Just look at the Trump rallies. Now,
- 38:16Speaker 6: how many black people they putting in that picture behind
- 38:19Speaker 6: Donald Trump. They are trying to convince us that we
- 38:22Speaker 6: are for him, and I'm not going for it. You
- 38:26Speaker 6: always gonna have a few somewhere. They just they just
- 38:31Speaker 6: can't get out their own damn with It's some of us.
- 38:34Speaker 6: There are some of us who are filled with such
- 38:37Speaker 6: hatred for ourselves that we think we can't do nothing
- 38:42Speaker 6: without one of them. There are those of us who
- 38:45Speaker 6: feel that way, and it's sickening to me, it really
- 38:49Speaker 6: really is. Man And then to allow them to use
- 38:52Speaker 6: you as a puppet to try to persuade others. That's
- 38:57Speaker 6: some old that our uncle, by the don't miss that's
- 39:01Speaker 6: that old.

- 39:31Speaker 1: All right?
- 39:31Speaker 12: Steve?
- 39:31Speaker 2: The first caller left a message about Diddy.
- 39:34Speaker 16: You want to Steve? Everybody I listened to the show. Everyone,
- 39:39Speaker 16: I love your show. I love that you know that
- 39:42Speaker 16: you have a positive exactly what.
- 39:43Speaker 10: He wanted by yeah, show with.
- 39:50Speaker 16: Ever right now with this whole Diddy stay, we know
- 39:53Speaker 16: that what he did to tax you was wrong. However,
- 39:57Speaker 16: I have never heard us say one time allegedly when
- 40:01Speaker 16: I talk about his situation every morning, and it's unfortunately
- 40:06Speaker 16: that we would help tear our own people down because
- 40:09Speaker 16: it's allegedly he has children too. Sorry if this did
- 40:12Speaker 16: happen to anybody, but he hasn't been convicted of anything yet,
- 40:16Speaker 16: and not one time do I hear you I say
- 40:19Speaker 16: allegedly he has children. Everybody's affected by whatever's going on,
- 40:23Speaker 16: and nobody knows the truth yet because he hasn't been
- 40:26Speaker 16: brought in front of the court of Lord. Everybody's innocent
- 40:29Speaker 16: to bugri diffy. But I've never heard y'all say one
- 40:32Speaker 16: time allegedly when y'all are talking about his situation.
- 40:36Speaker 6: Well, brother, the reason I never used the term allegedly
- 40:41Speaker 6: Number one, I can't spell it, So I used to
- 40:45Speaker 6: stay away from words that I can't spell.
- 40:48Speaker 1: So that's for starters. I try to stay very facing.
- 40:52Speaker 6: All I've ever said is this is tragic on so
- 40:55Speaker 6: many levels. Now, once you say the video of Cassie that's.
- 41:04Speaker 11: Not an alleged it's hard to defend abuser when you
- 41:08Speaker 11: see that.
- 41:10Speaker 1: It's it's just tough. Brou I understand what you're saying, But.
- 41:17Speaker 8: Brother, I am not about us tearing down our people.
- 41:21Speaker 8: I am not about that. But I'm not about nobody
- 41:24Speaker 8: beating up on no woman either. I'm not about that
- 41:28Speaker 8: or any of that.
- 41:30Speaker 6: Alleged allegend, allegend and you know that's my life, it's
- 41:36Speaker 6: you know. Okay, bro, let me just put it this way.
- 41:40Speaker 6: I agree with you having the freedom to feel what
- 41:43Speaker 6: you want to say, but we don't tear down people
- 41:46Speaker 6: on this show. That's not what we do. Now, Bro,
- 41:50Speaker 6: I know you listen to the show, you say it's positive.
- 41:54Speaker 6: Where is it way anywhere? Is you hearing anything else?
- 41:58Speaker 6: I mean, get us something else to report. I mean
- 42:02Speaker 6: all we doing is we absorbing the news like everybody else.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Do you have something that that says innocent to proven guilty.
- 42:10Speaker 6: I know that's what they do in the court of law,
- 42:12Speaker 6: but in the court aboard of public opinion, you don't
- 42:14Speaker 6: get that.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Just give me something that's say innocent.
- 42:17Speaker 6: Just give me something to make me pause and say, no,
- 42:20Speaker 6: this didn't happen, or maybe this didn't happen.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Just give me that.
- 42:24Speaker 6: But right now, it ain't nothing coming out and coming
- 42:28Speaker 6: out to give you a moment of pause.
- 42:30Speaker 2: We don't skin darker.
- 42:32Speaker 6: And darker and darker and everything. Ain't nothing coming out
- 42:36Speaker 6: about them saving lives and saving souls. And see here's
- 42:42Speaker 6: the other thing, here's the other thing.
- 42:45Speaker 1: It would help if you.
- 42:47Speaker 6: Had any track record of doing something for people as
- 42:54Speaker 6: opposed to two people, that would help. That would help
- 42:58Speaker 6: me with you, because I'll give you an example. I
- 43:02Speaker 6: watched the amount of money that Bill Calls Me gave.
- 43:07Speaker 6: He gave money to institutions that never received money, to
- 43:11Speaker 6: the point where they wanted to take his names off
- 43:14Speaker 6: all these buildings. But when nobody giving that money back.
- 43:19Speaker 6: You know, if you don't like Bill calls Me that
- 43:21Speaker 6: much and you hate what he did, which was right,
- 43:25Speaker 6: and didn't give the money back, he had something else going,
- 43:30Speaker 6: I just and that's not to compare.
- 43:32Speaker 1: But I'm sorry, brother, but you're free to feel that way. Though.
- 43:36Speaker 1: You are free to feel that way.
- 43:37Speaker 6: And we apologize for not using the word legend once again.
- 43:43Speaker 1: We will use it from here on out. I'm not.
- 43:48Speaker 6: All right, Calin not gonna use the word because she
- 43:51Speaker 6: saw the tape. After that, she was it was a.
- 43:53Speaker 11: Wrap, Yeah, I saw the tape. That all right, the
- 44:01Speaker 11: caller saw it all right.
- 44:02Speaker 9: Coming up next, it is the Nephew and the prank
- 44:05Speaker 9: phone call for today right after this, allegedly, Finna do Brank.
- 44:12Speaker 7: You're listening.

- 54:18Speaker 9: husband works hard as a construction worker, so I let
- 54:21Speaker 9: him relax before I get nasty with them. I make

- 54:26Speaker 9: really early because his days start early. He makes sure
- 54:31Speaker 9: we're having sex by nine pm. He takes care of
- 54:34Speaker 9: business and I go on to sleep. Every time, I
- 54:37Speaker 9: was living the dream and didn't know that he had
- 54:40Speaker 9: a problem with anything we had going on in the bedroom,
- 54:43Speaker 9: But apparently he does, and I found out through a
- 54:46Speaker 9: third party. He was at his brother's house complaining about
- 54:50Speaker 9: our sex life. His brother's girlfriend reported back to me,
- 54:54Speaker 9: my husband said that My husband said that I'm hot.
- 54:58Speaker 2: And heavy, but not in a good way.
- 55:00Speaker 9: He said that I'm thicker than I was when he
- 55:03Speaker 9: met me, and it's like sleeping next to a hot
- 55:06Speaker 9: box with all of my body heat. I thought he
- 55:08Speaker 9: liked it when I fell asleep put my leg across
- 55:11Speaker 9: his legs. I have only gained like ten pounds in
- 55:15Speaker 9: the last fourteen years. That's great for a woman. I
- 55:18Speaker 9: asked my husband if any of that was true, and
- 55:21Speaker 9: he said it was the other way around. He said
- 55:24Speaker 9: he bragged about us being hot and heavy in the
- 55:26Speaker 9: bedroom and he's glad that we have the same sex drive.
- 55:31Speaker 9: We don't have the same sex drive, and he knows it.
- 55:34Speaker 9: I decided to stop initiating sex the past few days,
- 55:37Speaker 9: and he doesn't seem to care. When he goes to bed,
- 55:42Speaker 9: I stay in the living room watching TV. He never
- 55:45Speaker 9: called for me to come to bed. If he has
- 55:47Speaker 9: a problem with me, why can't he just submit it.
- 55:49Speaker 9: All he's told me is that I shouldn't believe what
- 55:52Speaker 9: other people tell me. If he didn't say it, then
- 55:54Speaker 9: why hasn't he called his brother to straighten this out?
- 55:58Speaker 2: Wow?
- 56:01Speaker 9: You know what, you guys do have a problem. Someone
- 56:03Speaker 9: is lying about this situation. It's either your husband or
- 56:08Speaker 9: the brother's girlfriend. Do you even know her?
- 56:10Speaker 8: Like that?
- 56:11Speaker 9: The girlfriend because she wasted no time running back to
- 56:15Speaker 9: you and snitching. I mean your husband said. According to
- 56:19Speaker 9: the snitch, he said this that you are heavier now
- 56:23Speaker 9: and it's like sleeping.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Next to a hot box.
- 56:25Speaker 9: I mean, is your husband that kind of man who
- 56:27Speaker 9: goes places and runs off at the mouth normally?
- 56:30Speaker 2: Is that his character?
- 56:31Speaker 9: Because honestly, what your husband allegedly said wasn't that bad.
- 56:35Speaker 9: It's the fact that he said it at all that's
- 56:38Speaker 9: the problem. If he did say this, he said he
- 56:41Speaker 9: didn't say it. But if he didn't say it, I mean,
- 56:44Speaker 9: let's squash it.
- 56:45Speaker 8: Then.
- 56:45Speaker 9: If he didn't say it, you know, let him make
- 56:48Speaker 9: it up to you some kind of way in it.
- 56:53Speaker 9: He knows you're upset, and all he said was that
- 56:55Speaker 9: you shouldn't believe everything you hear. If he said it,
- 56:58Speaker 9: he could have apologized that he didn't mean to say
- 57:00Speaker 9: it to them, or it hurt your feelings. There's so
- 57:03Speaker 9: many ways he could have, you know, just put this
- 57:05Speaker 9: to rest. But now he's acting like he's mad too.
- 57:08Speaker 9: I mean, what you guys need to do is just
- 57:10Speaker 9: talk about it. You know, you can't go on letting
- 57:14Speaker 9: this linger like this. Don't let it go on so
- 57:16Speaker 9: you can get back to the sex that you really love.
- 57:18Speaker 9: You know, tell him how it makes you feel.
- 57:22Speaker 6: Steve, that ain't gonna do no good because we ain't
- 57:24Speaker 6: addressing the problem here. We all were dancing around this letter.
- 57:29Speaker 6: Come on, I don't know what to dance in this fall.
- 57:32Speaker 6: The title is right there. Hot and heavy, yeah every night.
- 57:39Speaker 1: It ain't the hot.
- 57:42Speaker 6: Heavy say I way creating the problem right here. You
- 57:46Speaker 6: got married three years ago. You love set your husband
- 57:49Speaker 6: construction worker. You wait till he relaxed. FO you're getting
- 57:52Speaker 6: nasty with him. I make sure I feed him first.
- 57:56Speaker 6: We go to bed early because he started his day early.
- 58:00Speaker 6: Make sure we having sex by now. We ain't heard
- 58:02Speaker 6: about no kids in here, so that ain't the problem.
- 58:05Speaker 6: He take care of business. I go to sleep every time.
- 58:09Speaker 6: I am living the dream.
- 58:11Speaker 1: She says.
- 58:12Speaker 6: I didn't know he had a problem with anything we
- 58:15Speaker 6: had going on in the bedroom, but apparently he does
- 58:19Speaker 6: because I found out through a third party. He was
- 58:23Speaker 6: at his brother's house complaining about the sex life his
- 58:28Speaker 6: brother girlfriend overheard it and came back and reported to it.
- 58:32Speaker 6: Now here go the letter right here. This is all
- 58:34Speaker 6: we need, just gonna get to this because this was
- 58:36Speaker 6: he said. I'm hot and heavy, but not in a
- 58:41Speaker 6: good way. The husband said, I am thicker than I
- 58:48Speaker 6: was when he met me, and it's like sleeping next
- 58:51Speaker 6: to a hot box with my body heat.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Just to bring you up.
- 58:56Speaker 6: You know that thing that the pizza man have in
- 58:58Speaker 6: the back of his car when her pizza, that's what
- 59:01Speaker 6: a hot box eat.
- 59:04Speaker 1: You notice they leave that in the car. You know why?
- 59:06Speaker 1: Because it's heavy.
- 59:09Speaker 6: All they do is open the door and bring out
- 59:11Speaker 6: the box. But the hot box stay in the car.
- 59:16Speaker 6: Why because it's heavy. I thought he liked it when
- 59:20Speaker 6: I fell asleep with my leg across his legs. Well,
- 59:23Speaker 6: let me tell you something. He don't, and don't none
- 59:26Speaker 6: of us like that. No, we don't like it when
- 59:34Speaker 6: you lay your hot, heavy ass legs cross it. We though,
- 59:41Speaker 6: we are through what you over here for now here
- 59:46Speaker 6: is where the lies begin. I have only gained like
- 59:53Speaker 6: ten pounds in.
- 59:54Speaker 1: The last four years, Pumpy breaks. That's a lie. What
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: anytime somebody says, show her. I've only gained light like light?
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: What a hell? And light.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: Everybody got scaling the bathroom. You don't going to hell?
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: Well that ain't like no.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Ten pounds, you know, good and well, it ain't light.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: No to that.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Thirty pounds is not like ten pounds.
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: Hang on, all right, we'll have part two of your
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: response coming up in twenty three minutes after we'll be
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: back Heavy How in Heavy every night is the subject
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: of the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: We'll get back into it right after this.

- 1:00:51Speaker 6: she go to sleep. She was living the dream. She
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: messed around and found out through a third party that
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: there has a problem in their bedroom. How does she
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: found out? He went over his brother's house, told it.
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: The brother's girlfriend came back and told her that when
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: they get through, it's like sleeping next to a hot
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: box with all my body heat. That's a true statement.
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: Everybody hot after that, everybody hot. But it's a physical activity.
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: I thought he liked it when I fell asleep with
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: my leg across his leg. I'm telling you he don't.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: He don't.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: We don't let me put this other ladies, lady, we
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: don't want that. Why don't lay your leg cross our
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: leg because that leg is dead weight. It ain't like
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: you keep your hip flexa flex where you lightly No, no,
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: you let it down on that.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: She's a sleep's relaxed. He said.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: It's like sleeping next to a hot box. The hot
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: box is that thing that the pizza man have in
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: the back of the car that keeps the pit.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: That's heavy.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: You don't never see that come out, dude. They just
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: come to your dough with the box. They don't come
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: up there with that hot box. They might have that
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: little aluminum sleeve with it and crack it open with
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: that velcron it and slide your pizza out. But it
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: ain't nobody bringing that hot box cause the hot box heavy.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: And how heavy is it? She said, I've only gained
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: like ten pounds in the last four years. Keyword, like,
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: the one real number have you gained that you're trying
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: to tell.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Us is light ten pounds? It might be nine no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: it's molding that.
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: She said.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I have only gained like ten pounds, and that's great
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: for a woman. She says.
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: Asked my hus if any of that was true. He
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: said it was the other way around. He said, he's like,
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: like it hot in heaven in bed, and he's glad
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: we had the same saf We don't have the same sex,
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: driver and he know it. I've stopped initiating sex past
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: few days and he doesn't seem to care. When he
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: goes to bed, I stay in the living room watching TV.
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: He don't never call me and come to bed. That
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: because they need a break. He don't want it no
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: more this every night we was wearing it down. He
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: ain't calling you in here, And I'm gonna tell you
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: whyingld woman. See if he got a problem with me,
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: why can't he just admit it? Yeah, now, let me
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: get to this part in this letter that I missed. Okay,
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: here we go. My husband said that I'm not hot
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: and heavy, but in a good way. My husband said
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: that I'm hot and heavy, but in a good way.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Now not way.
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: He said that I'm thicker than I was when he
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: met me. And it's like sleeping next to a hot
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: box with all my body. He now listen to me, Ladies.
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: In four years, a man can't detect ten pounds. We
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: don't have that ability four years ten out, because you're
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: looking at about two point five per year we ain't
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: really good at detecting that. Okay, we we won't even
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: We can't even register ten pounds in four years, because we.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Do we can handle ten.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: Yeah, we don't even notice it. But he did though,
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: He said, why I am thicker than I was? That's
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: how I noticed. Ten pounds is a lot.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: That's why I ain't like. That's why they ain't like ten.
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: Pounds up, Tommy, I bet you in four years, that
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: is what I think she'dne picked up.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I think she'd have picked up at.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Least thirty Yeah, thirty pounds.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, yes, lord, well.
- 1:05:12Speaker 9: Heavy, shir Even with thirty pounds, you don't like to
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: You still don't like to cuddle afterwards, even with Have you.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Ever had a thirty pound leg on you?
- 1:05:24Speaker 9: The whole leg does not weigh thirty pounds, It is
- 1:05:27Speaker 9: just throughout her body.
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: Let me ask you a question, how would you like
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: it after you and your husband was together?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: How would you like it if he laid his leg
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: on you and fell asleep?
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: I wouldn't like it. I wouldn't like it. I wouldn't
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: like what say? What guard me call it?
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: It's too heavy, Shirley? What'd you say? I wouldn't like
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: it because what? Because what?
- 1:05:56Speaker 18: Because it's big and it's too what it's too what?
- 1:06:00Speaker 18: It's too heavy, it's too much weight. Here's the subject
- 1:06:04Speaker 18: of the letter, hot and heavy. Key word heaven.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: I'm telling y'allounds infold you because we are unable to
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: detect a ten pound difference.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: When he say when your man tell you, well, you
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: a little thicker? If he wasn't your husband, this is
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: what he said, acton got a little fat?
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: What's your comments on today's strawberry letters at Steve Harvey
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the strawberry letter.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: To the person who wrote the letter and all of
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: y'all listening, keep your leg over on yourself.
- 1:06:48Speaker 9: The free iHeartRadio app Green Never Sounded So Good downloaded today.
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: Coming up at forty six minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: You're listening hardy Morning show.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: All right, Steve. So the election is only like forty
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: something days away. Forty days away maybe.
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: I mean, it's really really close now, and they say
- 1:07:09Speaker 9: that the election is going to be tight. We know
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: the two candidates, we know who they are. We know
- 1:07:14Speaker 9: VP Kamala Harris and her vision for the country, and
- 1:07:18Speaker 9: we know former President Donald Trump and his vision and
- 1:07:22Speaker 9: what all he stands for.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: And who he is.
- 1:07:25Speaker 9: This is my question, what is it that they like
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: so much about Donald Trump? Why can't they see his
- 1:07:32Speaker 9: flaws and his faults and the criminality attached to him
- 1:07:36Speaker 9: and all of that.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: They know that it's there, but they don't seem to care.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: What is that about?
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: Well, I've said this several times on this show, but
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: let me see if I could find another way to
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: approach this.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Birds of a feather flock together.
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: If you describe your five closest friends, you have described yourself.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Okay, But what does that have to do with the
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: candidate that they're choosing.
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: Bulls cows mate with cows, birds mate with birds, Lions
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: mate with lions. So the attraction to Trump is purely
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: because of the likeness, the similarities.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: And that's what you have said on this show before.
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: You are like Trumpster, because that's what that's who you are,
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: and there's no denying it.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: You cannot fix this up any other way. Listen to me.
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: His character, You okay with his character because that's part
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: of your character. You're okay with his goals because those
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: are some of your goals. You're okay with all of
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: his accomplishments, the golf courses, the airplanes with the name
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: on it, the building with the name on it, because
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: you wish for those accomplishments. You're willing to accept all
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: of his character flaws, you are willing to accept all
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: of his convictions. And he has convinced you all that
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: that is the way to power. Here is a man
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: who has hijacked an entire party. The Republican Party is
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: the party of Donald Trump. It has been hijacked by
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: a man with felony convictions, sexual assault charges, a man
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: who's a narcissist, who does not care about anybody, who
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: has never serviced the public, who has never had political
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: ar nothing about him, who is rich, who is racist
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: when it comes to the Central Five, the Black brothers
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: in Central Five, who has been convictive, unfair housing to
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: black people, and you vote for him because you cool
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: with that.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: All right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:02Speaker 9: Someone needs some advice, Steve. They say their neighbor's goat
- 1:10:05Speaker 9: keeps coming into their yard. We'll get into it, right,
- 1:10:08Speaker 9: after this, you're.
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: Listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: All right, Steve.
- 1:10:15Speaker 9: This is from Kamara Kaimara on Steve Harvey FM. Kaimara says,
- 1:10:21Speaker 9: my next door neighbor recently got a pet goat and
- 1:10:24Speaker 9: it keeps escaping into my yard. I've tried talking to
- 1:10:27Speaker 9: them about it, but they think it's hilarious and haven't
- 1:10:30Speaker 9: done anything to stop it. The goat eats my plan
- 1:10:32Speaker 9: to choose on my outdoor furniture and even try to
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: come into my house once. I don't want to call
- 1:10:38Speaker 9: animal control, but this is getting out of hand. How
- 1:10:41Speaker 9: do I get them to take responsibility for their goat
- 1:10:43Speaker 9: without ruining our relationship?
- 1:10:46Speaker 8: Wow?
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Next time the goat try to get in my house,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I'm an letty me.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Worst time, and I'm gonna eat him.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I'm at and then what And that's all we saying.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: That's what I.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Mean?
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Wow? More than animal control?
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: No, No, I ain't gonna call animal control. I got
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: some animal control. Come on, come on down in the basement.
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: Dinner is at six, Okay, I know what.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: To do and invite the neighbors over. What do you have?
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: Come on?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Come on, gone have no bread corn trail?
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: Come on?
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: Wow?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: Well, I guess that answer to that.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: We ain't gonna keep worrying about this right now? Okay,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: come on, you think it's funny you're gonna be outside
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: in your back yard one day?
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: Going ahead, go, but you can't ruin.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: You got room. You ain't gotta tell him nothing, So
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: you're gonna.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Say what happened to go and serve it?
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: The t lo he just got called? What if they
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: see it on the on the camera? Girl? We know
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: how to steal a goat.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: And you lie about it?
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: Still a goat, invite the cook it, invite them to dinner,
- 1:12:13Speaker 9: and still lie?
- 1:12:15Speaker 17: What you mean?
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: What you mean?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: You got a camera? You ain't the only one? Gotta go?
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: You talk about that.
- 1:12:22Speaker 9: Blue goat across the hall? All right, we have time
- 1:12:29Speaker 9: for another one, Steve. This is from Lelei and Steve
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: Harvey FM. She says, I recently learned that my closest
- 1:12:34Speaker 9: friend is cheating on her husband, who is also a
- 1:12:36Speaker 9: good friend of mine. She confided in me about her affair,
- 1:12:40Speaker 9: and now I'm torn. I feel guilty knowing this and
- 1:12:43Speaker 9: not telling her husband, but I don't want to betray
- 1:12:45Speaker 9: her trust.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: How should I handle this situation?
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Should I?
- 1:12:48Speaker 9: Confront her about ending the affair or tell her husband
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: what's going on.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: Woo, just say none of your business. She told it
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: to you, would you now you think you so well?
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: You just got some information. Why ladies, why do y'all
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: feel this obligation to tell? What is wrong with y'all?
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: It don't depend on nothing, Yes, it does. She is

- 1:13:25Speaker 6: your friend. Do not betray her trust.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: Well, that's what I'm saying. It depends on the friend
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: that that relationship.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: No, yeah, I hear that.
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: I'm telling you right now. If you tell her husband,
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: you will lose both of them.
- 1:13:42Speaker 9: Yes, and should should she tell her girlfriend to end
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: the affair?
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: So know what's going on behind the people's doors.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: You don't know why this woman having this affairs want
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: to counsel somebody?
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Just just stay out of it. Trying to counsel.
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: While and just first of all, you don't know what
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: the man has done to her. Most women who cheat
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: need a reason.
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: Yeah, that's been proven. That's been proven. I agree, Unlike
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: men Yeah, who just cheat?
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Because today that's been proven as well.

- 1:15:42Speaker 11: you have to listen to the local officials and you
- 1:15:44Speaker 11: have to do what you need to do.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: To save life at this point.
- 1:15:47Speaker 11: Yeah, because if you're talking about wins this that could

- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I don't know how high that surge can get. This
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: is a serious storm. We're in Houston one year. I

- 1:16:28Speaker 11: it's already, people are ready late to leave. Yeah, it's
- 1:16:31Speaker 11: too late to protect your life. You got to protect

- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't climb in that dumpster. There's nothing that
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I can find it. Hey, No, I can't get in

- 1:17:33Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: Would you rather paint all the rooms in your house?
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: Or would you rather redo the tile in the bathroom
- 1:17:38Speaker 9: every weekend?
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Either one? I'm board as hell. I don't want to
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: do it. I want to do nothing one of them.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: You do know I want food that tide?
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Yes, yes, you better hire someone.

- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Would you? Well? If you're asking me if I would rather,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: my response is I would rather not?
- 1:18:09Speaker 12: All right?
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: Would you rather use Buffalo wings sauce flavored toothpaste?
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Or would you rather ham scented deodorant?
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Or what.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Toothpaste be buffalo sauce flavor?
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: Or would you rather sure deodorant be Ham flavored, ham scented.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: You know what I mean? The fly gonna be coming around.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I'm going to take that off, but I want a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: honey baked Ham.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: Yeah Ham.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Put this buffalo sauce in my mouth and brush my teeth.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: Would you rather be able to sleep only two hours
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: a night?
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Because I got a part of the smell like hot
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: chicken wings all the time.
- 1:18:59Speaker 9: Would you rather be Would you rather be able to
- 1:19:01Speaker 9: sleep only two hours a night? Or would you rather
- 1:19:04Speaker 9: run half a marathon and a pair of tight sneakers?
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: You can't do that. No, you ain't gonna get pair
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: two miles and them tight airs sneakers. I can tell
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: you that.
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: Now that's two hours sleep. I can't run the marathon
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: in some well fitted.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: A marathon, all right?
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: Would you rather?
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: People are Luther van Big Loot, even.
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: Though I love Biglue, Little Lou. I just ran across
- 1:19:36Speaker 6: something across that came across scrolling. Luther was on their
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: Center Hall show and did if only for one night?
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that, So you're going with Luther? Yeah,
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: it's just too many Yeah.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: It's just it's just too many hits. Now, I love
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: people though.
- 1:19:59Speaker 9: Yeah, Luther just got sing us out.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: We'll close out the show coming out.
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: You're listening.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: Morning show, all right, seem here we are our last
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: break of the day. What you got for us?
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: Uh?
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: You know?
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Uh, this is just a reminder to everyone.
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: Now. I know what I'm about to say is going
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: to fall on some deaf ears to some people, because
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: some people keep trying to find I guess a more
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: tangible what they consider tangible evidence or something tangible that
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: they can something physically they can put.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Their hands on.
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: Because I've tried to tell people this before and people go, yeah,
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: but I want to know who, who I need to
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: talk to, who I met. I'm going to tell you something,
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: and I mean this from every fiber in me. If
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: you have any plans, any aspirations to become successful or happy,
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: if those plans do not have God deeply rooted in them,
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: you are going to struggle, and you are going to
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: struggle mightily. And I am telling you, man, you are
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: bringing something on yourself that's not absolutely necessary. Life is
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: already difficult. Life has challenges for all of us. Nobody's
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: getting away with this without them. Now, some challenges appear
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: bigger than others. But guess what, some people have wider
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: shoulders than others. There are some situations in some people's
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: lives that you can look at and go, well, that's nothing,
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: that's nothing. But you shouldn't say that because it's all
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: in prospect. In that person's particular walk, small inkling you're
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: looking at can be that unsurmountable odds though, that unaccomplished task,
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: that monumental mountain in front of them, So it's unfair
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: to say that. At the same time, there are people
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: with problems that you passing judgment on that would break
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: you if you had to deal with it, I mean.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Crumble you to the ground.
- 1:22:31Speaker 6: So you have to be careful in life because life
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: is difficult for all of us, no matter what level
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: you are on. The key to succeeding in these difficulties
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: is you have to have a relationship with God. See,
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: God provides you with stabilization. God provides you with a peace.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: That's just it's called an uncommon peace. Have you ever
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: seen mean somebody and when you really look at him,
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: you gotta go, man, I don't know how they're handling that.
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: That could be because they have a relationship with God
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: and God has provided them with a strength, a measure
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: of strength to be able to cope with it. I
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: don't see how they taking that. I've had people go, man,
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: I don't know how you do it. I know you don't.
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: I know you don't, But I know how I'm doing
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: it because it ain't me. It is the strength, the favor,
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: and the grace that God provides me because I belong
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: to Him, because I have a relationship with Him. Now
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: is this relationship perfect? Absolutely not. Does your relationship with
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: God have to be perfect?
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: No, it does not.
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: God understands that you are a flawed creature. You were
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: born into this world as sinner. You will leave this
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: world a sinner all of us. All of us have
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: the same things going on. It's just at what measure.
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: But all of this is doable with the relationship with
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: God because God provides you the help you need.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: God does not remove your problems. God does not clear
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: the weight. He does it in a different way. If
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: you ask God to make you stronger, then sometimes He
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: provides you the strength, the extra weight that causes you
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: to be able to lift more, and therefore you become stronger.
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: You become stronger in the gym, because as you continue
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: to go to the gym, you lift more and more weights.
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: You may start with the twenty fives, but one day
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: you build yourself up to them sixties because guess what,
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: you learn how to lift the twenty fives.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: So you ask God for strength, so he gives you
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: heavy weights to lift. You ask God for patience.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: God, I want to be more patience, So he put
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: more troubling things in your way that requires you to
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: remain patient and to learn it. However you ask him for,
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: he may give it to you, but in a different
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: form to help you develop it. That's why you got
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: to have the relationship with God. Man, I want you
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: all to be clear about this. God is not an option.
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: Even though He created us as the one animal that
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: has the power of decision, we are the only ones.
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: Dogs can't make certain decisions, birds, bears, bees, We get
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: to make decisions. And isn't this decision You get to
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: choose between right and wrong. You get to decide if
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: you're going to be a positive person or a negative person.
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: You get to make that decision. You get to decide
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: if you're going to do the right thing or the
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: wrong thing. You get to decide that it ain't. No,
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: I'm just a bad person. No, no, no, you decided
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: you made some decisions. Look, man, get a relationship with God.
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: I can't tell you how critical it is. God will
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: keep you in the face of all adversity. God will
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: build you up in front of people who tried to
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: break you down. God will make your enemies your footstool.
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: God will let you get through things other people look
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: at and say, I don't see how you made it.
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: God will let you sing that old him, that old
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: people saying, my soul looks back in wonder how I
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: got over. Well, if it wasn't for God, I can
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: tell you I can't even explain my existence today. That
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: is all because I have this wonderful relationship with God.
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: It is the only explanation I have for you. And
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: if you're waiting on me to say something else, I
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: ain't got nothing for you. Try, y'all. I guarantee you
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: it works. God has never failed me, yet He'll do
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: the same thing for you. Those are my closing remarks
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: to day. I hope you got something from it. Hey,
