- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubbing me through good Steve
- 0:22Speaker 1: hastening to mother, Please I don't join joining me. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta turn, hur you, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You haven't got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water. The water got Come come on your fadhuh
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody you're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Y'all do took of
- 2:14Speaker 1: me what I said, But I do like I say always.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It just is a constant reminder of how good God
- 2:21Speaker 1: has been. So my question to you is, what's stopping
- 2:25Speaker 1: you from having the life that you want? What's stopping
- 2:29Speaker 1: you from having the life that you want? I know
- 2:34Speaker 1: a lot of people who have given up on achieving
- 2:38Speaker 1: the life of their dreams, but I know they'd still
- 2:42Speaker 1: want them if they could get to them. But they
- 2:45Speaker 1: just allowed to settle for so many reasons. So who
- 2:50Speaker 1: I'm talking to is you today? What's really at the
- 2:54Speaker 1: core of stopping you? What is that? Is it? Your friends?
- 2:59Speaker 1: Or yours. Is it the fear of what you think
- 3:03Speaker 1: somebody else will think of you if you decide to change.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Is it what I used to call the call of
- 3:09Speaker 1: the while? Is it the fact that you keep thinking
- 3:12Speaker 1: that the thing that you're doing that's providing you these
- 3:16Speaker 1: momentary moments of pleasure that really ain't really good or
- 3:20Speaker 1: healthy for you. You don't want to stop doing that
- 3:23Speaker 1: because you've got just a little bit more something else
- 3:25Speaker 1: you want to do. I call that the call at
- 3:28Speaker 1: a while. You know, it's just out there. Them streets
- 3:30Speaker 1: is calling you, Them lights is calling you. You know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: them girls is calling you. Them guys that's on the
- 3:36Speaker 1: wrong side keep calling you. You can't seem to make
- 3:39Speaker 1: a decision by the right guy. You keep picking the
- 3:42Speaker 1: wrong guy all the time. What is it that's stopping
- 3:45Speaker 1: you from having the life that you really want to have?
- 3:48Speaker 1: So whatever the reason you're choosing, that's the reason that's
- 3:52Speaker 1: stopping you from having the life that you want to have.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's no good because at the end of the day,
- 3:59Speaker 1: here's the real deal. See, God is available, and God
- 4:03Speaker 1: is available for all of us, and God has a
- 4:06Speaker 1: plan for all of us. And God wants to vary
- 4:08Speaker 1: best for all of us. That's the truth of the matter.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So now what we're gonna do to get started having
- 4:15Speaker 1: that life? First of all, if it's your friends, I
- 4:18Speaker 1: want you to understand something. Your friends can't save you.
- 4:22Speaker 1: A lot of your friends offer no real help for you.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Most of your friends don't have the answer themselves. I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 1: it's just a wide range of reasons. And misery love company.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So usually when your friends are in a bad position,
- 4:37Speaker 1: they kind of like company in that bad position. Your
- 4:40Speaker 1: friends ain't going to church. You're gonna be their friend.
- 4:43Speaker 1: They don't really want you to go to church. You know,
- 4:46Speaker 1: your friends don't pray, so why would they offer up
- 4:49Speaker 1: prayer as a solution to you. You know, your friends
- 4:53Speaker 1: don't really really get the fact that if you treat
- 4:58Speaker 1: people better, people would treat you better. So what's that?
- 5:02Speaker 1: So your friends are a lot of times the reasons,
- 5:05Speaker 1: you know, to peer pressure of what and then the
- 5:08Speaker 1: thought in your mind of what they're gonna think once
- 5:11Speaker 1: they find out I don't do what they do anymore.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Who cares what they think other than you? I mean, really,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you
- 5:22Speaker 1: from having the best life you wanted to have. If
- 5:25Speaker 1: I went by that theory right there, I wouldn't I
- 5:28Speaker 1: wouldn't even be on this mic this morning. I would
- 5:30Speaker 1: have never become a stand up I would have had
- 5:32Speaker 1: I listened to the people around me who clearly told
- 5:37Speaker 1: me when I quit my job to pursue this. Boy,
- 5:40Speaker 1: don't you quit your job? You got a family, Boy,
- 5:42Speaker 1: don't you do this. You ain't got no bit dad,
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't ain't no security in that. Get yourself a job,
- 5:48Speaker 1: Go down here and get your brothers, go to work
- 5:51Speaker 1: over here. I heard all of that. I didn't let
- 5:54Speaker 1: that stop me from pursuing this. Why would you allow
- 5:57Speaker 1: that to stop you from pursuing your relationship with God
- 6:01Speaker 1: so you can have the best life you could possibly have.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You gang bang because they've convinced you that this is
- 6:07Speaker 1: the family situation and love that you don't have, and
- 6:11Speaker 1: they've convinced you that this is your only way, your
- 6:14Speaker 1: only source of getting over And then you drum up
- 6:18Speaker 1: these ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they
- 6:22Speaker 1: sound so good when you're listening to everybody else you're
- 6:26Speaker 1: surrounded by telling you why we gang banging while we're
- 6:29Speaker 1: holding this blockdown? Why we slanging this thing here right here?
- 6:34Speaker 1: Why we're letting it go like this here? You keep
- 6:36Speaker 1: listening to them when all in your heart of hearts
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know this ain't right, you already know, but you
- 6:43Speaker 1: allow that form of the call of the wile that
- 6:48Speaker 1: wanting to be accepted by a group of people who
- 6:51Speaker 1: trying to get you to accept a way so you
- 6:53Speaker 1: can further they progress. To even prove that you worthy
- 6:56Speaker 1: to be around them, You got to commit some type
- 6:59Speaker 1: of to even prove that you're worthy to be around them.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Then when you get busted on the crime, what happens
- 7:06Speaker 1: to that where your family had? Now they don't come
- 7:09Speaker 1: down there to see you because guess what, they can't
- 7:12Speaker 1: turn any idea to death at a law enforcements center.
- 7:15Speaker 1: So now your homies can't come visit you. And then
- 7:18Speaker 1: you know your family back out here, they ain't taking
- 7:20Speaker 1: care of your family because it's all about them. Then
- 7:23Speaker 1: you learn that what is it to stopping you from
- 7:26Speaker 1: having a life that you always wanted to have? What
- 7:29Speaker 1: is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why do
- 7:33Speaker 1: you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 7:42Speaker 1: God a try. Why won't you disassociate yourself? Why would
- 7:46Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 7:49Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 7:53Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 7:56Speaker 1: in there, and then every time you go in there,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:00Speaker 1: silly little friends try to make you think that's a
- 8:02Speaker 1: badge of honor. Therein't no badge of honor. Man, that's
- 8:06Speaker 1: one mode. What's one more scratch on that record, That's
- 8:09Speaker 1: one mold, That's one more nail in that coffin. That's
- 8:12Speaker 1: one step closer to that third strike where you ain't
- 8:15Speaker 1: gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to that graveyard.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You keep on. Why would you not give God a try?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Why would you not go and see what your life
- 8:25Speaker 1: could really be? What is it that's stopping you? Because see,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I got news for you. There's nothing like waking up free.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. There's nothing like waking
- 8:37Speaker 1: up with the joy in your heart. Now, if you
- 8:40Speaker 1: ain't gonna be free, get the joy in your heart,
- 8:43Speaker 1: the satisfaction of knowing that you accomplishing something with your life,
- 8:47Speaker 1: help somebody behind them, bars, get in the program, show
- 8:50Speaker 1: these young cats when they come in a better way.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But don't you dare sit there man and just ride
- 8:56Speaker 1: it out? And man, just go and get the fullest
- 9:00Speaker 1: life that you can have. What you know what it
- 9:03Speaker 1: feels like to wake up and be on your way somewhere,
- 9:06Speaker 1: knowing that you have something to accomplish, that you can
- 9:09Speaker 1: change somebody, that you can stop somebody from going down
- 9:11Speaker 1: the roads you went down. It's a whole lot of
- 9:14Speaker 1: ways to make your life better. But why would you
- 9:16Speaker 1: not go and have the best life you can have?
- 9:18Speaker 1: What is it that's stopping you? Really? Really? So you
- 9:24Speaker 1: think that Satan really has your best interests at heart.
- 9:27Speaker 1: That Dela thing your mama kept telling you about praying,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you wasn't listening. It was you. But you know, it
- 9:33Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to get back to that. It
- 9:35Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to turn around, It ain't ever
- 9:38Speaker 1: too late to get your life together. It ain't ever
- 9:40Speaker 1: too late to seek God, and it ain't ever too
- 9:43Speaker 1: late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed
- 9:47Speaker 1: to pray, and don't be too proud to pray, because
- 9:50Speaker 1: prayer changes things. Prayer change people too. I'm a witness
- 9:55Speaker 1: to that. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, we are here.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Another day has arrived. All praises to God Almighty, Thank you,
- 10:09Speaker 1: Lord boy. I shall appreciate it. I'm gonna take advantage
- 10:12Speaker 1: of mine too. All his grace and favor, I'm gonna
- 10:16Speaker 1: just take advantage of it. I don't want his favor
- 10:19Speaker 1: to be wasted on me, No, sir. I'm gonna be
- 10:23Speaker 1: about the business of producing, being proactive, and most of
- 10:28Speaker 1: all grateful. I will always be hard working. It is
- 10:32Speaker 1: in my DNA or what I've been practicing more and
- 10:37Speaker 1: more is the principle of gratitude. The more grateful you are,
- 10:41Speaker 1: the more things He will give you to be grateful for.
- 10:45Speaker 1: While man, that ought to be easy to do, so
- 10:48Speaker 1: you would think. Welcome to The Steve Harvey Marty Show,

- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm just I mean, shouldn't we do something with that?

- 12:48Speaker 1: Why would I buy you? I mean, you know I
- 12:52Speaker 1: bought the ticket, right, But I mean what I'm saying
- 12:55Speaker 1: is you're not gonna use them. You apply whatever, excuse me,
- 12:59Speaker 1: excuse them skills. Here's my question immediate to you. Do
- 13:05Speaker 1: you want to buy the miles now? I don't want
- 13:07Speaker 1: to buy No, damn, I don't want you to give
- 13:09Speaker 1: me the mind. See the only Miles that gets stuff
- 13:14Speaker 1: given to him is Jackie. See how that works? How
- 13:20Speaker 1: did that? Maybe she almost Miles is gonna have to
- 13:26Speaker 1: pay for Miles like he'd been doing. All right, I'm
- 13:32Speaker 1: so good at this. Welcome to ask Steve coming up
- 13:37Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the or we'll run that

- 14:29Speaker 1: I'm getting the word I got a few minutes ago
- 14:32Speaker 1: was that the two of them did run off and
- 14:35Speaker 1: then got married together. I don't know what what what
- 14:39Speaker 1: what make them run off and get married? Like wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 14:42Speaker 1: where did you hear this from? I just got a
- 14:46Speaker 1: phone call from one of the kids at the school
- 14:48Speaker 1: saying that they didn't that this The girl grew up
- 14:50Speaker 1: with and went to grew up with an all too
- 14:52Speaker 1: grade school. She called it said Lashna and Darren then
- 14:57Speaker 1: ran off and got married together. And they don't say
- 15:00Speaker 1: that done yesterday? But wait, wait, my father ain't my father?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Ain't I talked to him? Uh my three days ago
- 15:10Speaker 1: here he ain't not nothing like that? I know, ain't
- 15:13Speaker 1: it yesterday. I've been calling, shying and call. Ain't nobody
- 15:17Speaker 1: picking up. And I'm calling the boys. They give me
- 15:20Speaker 1: the boy phone number, I'll call him. It ain't nobody
- 15:23Speaker 1: picking up in the airs or nothing. It ain't like
- 15:27Speaker 1: my baby girl to do like nothing like this here.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But it's not like my father do nothing like that
- 15:32Speaker 1: without talking to me first. So let me call down
- 15:34Speaker 1: there and talked to Darren and uh, I can't give
- 15:38Speaker 1: me your number. I'll call you back. I'm going down
- 15:41Speaker 1: there that school myself. I'm gonna find both of them now.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna call you to let you know his Now,

- 15:51Speaker 1: and got married because she didn't gotten pregnant, I promise you,
- 15:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna do something that boy. Ye, if you got
- 15:58Speaker 1: my baby pregnant him, wait a minute now, wait a minute, now,
- 16:02Speaker 1: he doesn't do nothing to my son. I understand about
- 16:06Speaker 1: your daughter. That's my son. Now you're going down and

- 16:20Speaker 1: If you tell me I was gonna put your ass on,
- 16:22Speaker 1: you're gonna have a problem. If you got my baby pregnant,
- 16:27Speaker 1: your son, Derek go, I'm gonna be it. I mean,
- 16:32Speaker 1: what's your name again? What's your name? Doing? My name
- 16:39Speaker 1: is my baby which what's your name, what's your n
- 16:42Speaker 1: do it? I know? How do you tell your damn that?
- 16:47Speaker 1: Look at mister Dining. Uh, you're not gonna put your
- 16:50Speaker 1: ass on my son. And there's the only reason I
- 16:55Speaker 1: didn't see her doing something like that because I'm taller,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I'm tallly years and years and year. You know. Don't
- 17:00Speaker 1: make no baby. You don't make no baby, not be married,
- 17:04Speaker 1: you don't do it. He went on. But god, man,
- 17:08Speaker 1: that means you're trying to make it right that wish
- 17:10Speaker 1: you did, mister Dillon. Mister Dillon, mister to me, now,

- 17:24Speaker 1: you something. Your son didn't curse my baby girl and
- 17:29Speaker 1: be getting married, and he didn't gotta pregnant. I know
- 17:31Speaker 1: what's going on. I know what. My son ain't done
- 17:37Speaker 1: nothing to your daughter. Let me call down there and
- 17:40Speaker 1: talk to him before you talk about going down there
- 17:42Speaker 1: and putting your hands on somebody. I told my maby
- 17:46Speaker 1: thettle dog, he ain't number the dog who who? Who? Who?
- 17:51Speaker 1: But don't be choosing my son of being no damn third. Now,

- 20:12Speaker 1: I'm surprised. I surprised me sometimes. Wait a minute, Wait
- 20:15Speaker 1: a minute, you actually think that Joe stupidity can be
- 20:20Speaker 1: outdone only if it's outdone by me. I'm just saying
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm impressing myself. I mean, that's that's doable right yourself
- 20:34Speaker 1: on the back all the way on my back. I
- 20:36Speaker 1: just can't get my hand back that. But all the
- 20:37Speaker 1: way on my back. Yeah, just so you know, it's

- 36:15Speaker 1: Morning Show. Well, early voting is off to a good
- 36:18Speaker 1: start in Georgia. With less than three weeks until the
- 36:21Speaker 1: mid term elections, Georgians are already casting their ballots at
- 36:25Speaker 1: a fast pace, with vote count surpassing twenty twenty presidential
- 36:30Speaker 1: election records for early voting. Georgia's Secretary of State Brad
- 36:34Speaker 1: Raffensburger stated, we're extremely pleased that so many Georgians are
- 36:38Speaker 1: able to cast their votes in record numbers and without
- 36:42Speaker 1: any reports of substantial delays. All right, I vote it
- 36:47Speaker 1: yesterday and other election news thank you, Yes, yes, yes,
- 36:53Speaker 1: had to do it, had to do it. Come on,
- 36:55Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams and Raffie L. Warnock, our senator. In other
- 37:00Speaker 1: action news in Georgia. After weeks of not addressing the
- 37:02Speaker 1: abortion allegations against Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker, Democratic Senator
- 37:07Speaker 1: Raphael Warnox campaign released a new TV commercial yesterday that
- 37:12Speaker 1: highlights how Walker paid for a woman's abortion and encouraged
- 37:16Speaker 1: her to have another one. The commercial is titled Hypocrite,
- 37:20Speaker 1: and it includes a video from an interview Walker gave
- 37:23Speaker 1: to NBC where he acknowledged that he sent a seven
- 37:26Speaker 1: hundred dollars check to a woman who said the money
- 37:29Speaker 1: was provided to reimburse her for an abortion, although Walker
- 37:34Speaker 1: denies the check was for that purpose. Of course he's
- 37:38Speaker 1: gonna deny it. Hell yeah, he'd been lying. He lied,
- 37:41Speaker 1: like all the rust them. Yeah, I mean, you know, look,
- 37:44Speaker 1: it's time to play the game like this, because that's
- 37:46Speaker 1: how they play in the game. Yeah, that's right. Stop
- 37:49Speaker 1: all this being fair because they ain't tell the truth.
- 37:52Speaker 1: And even though in Georgia, you know, early voting is
- 37:55Speaker 1: going well, that means you still got to get out
- 37:58Speaker 1: and vote. If you haven't vote, did okay, your vote
- 38:01Speaker 1: still counts, still counts. Yes, Yeah, you have to vote. Vote, vote. Yes. Yes,
- 38:08Speaker 1: let's prove them wrong. Let's shut it down. We have
- 38:13Speaker 1: the capability to change in the election. We have to vote,
- 38:16Speaker 1: and we have the power to change this, you know,
- 38:19Speaker 1: to keep it where it is. We have the power. Yeah,
- 38:22Speaker 1: I mean, we've proved it. Let's do it again. That's right.
- 38:26Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. And um, you know, like you
- 38:29Speaker 1: were saying yesterday, Steve, you didn't like necessarily what the
- 38:34Speaker 1: polls could say and how they could, you know, make
- 38:37Speaker 1: you think that you don't have to go because you
- 38:40Speaker 1: know it's going well, or you know whatever, how they
- 38:43Speaker 1: manipulate you into stand. We don't want to tell you
- 38:47Speaker 1: that your opponent is way behind. It makes you feel
- 38:50Speaker 1: like you know, or they try to tell you he's
- 38:52Speaker 1: leading and you get complacent, Oh we got this. They
- 38:55Speaker 1: vote exactly. No, it's a trick. You have to vote,
- 38:59Speaker 1: damn pole because they none of the polls asked you.

- 39:53Speaker 1: if the price sounds a bit high to you, well
- 39:56Speaker 1: here's why. The USDA reports that the average price per
- 40:00Speaker 1: pound of turkeys has gone up seventy three percent since
- 40:04Speaker 1: last year. Temmy, what do you with that? You know?
- 40:10Speaker 1: But I'm on behalf of the turkeys. These turkeys have
- 40:14Speaker 1: had it. All this killing that's going on in October
- 40:17Speaker 1: and November, for these turkeys, they have had it. If

- 46:04Speaker 1: worried about about how many months I'm behind? Who the

- 49:43Speaker 1: gonna whoop yo. I'm gonna let my daughter know if
- 49:46Speaker 1: she leave me and to help me and the baby
- 49:50Speaker 1: is getting a long firm man. All I'm saying is
- 49:52Speaker 1: we just need you to send that money. Man. You Hey, y'all.
- 49:56Speaker 1: I'm glad y'all doing good because she anyway, but don't
- 50:00Speaker 1: put my daughter in the middle of man. Man, I'm
- 50:02Speaker 1: just happening to be in between jobs, that's all. Man. Well,
- 50:05Speaker 1: you need to get out your and look in between
- 50:08Speaker 1: your cheeks and go find you something and find you
- 50:11Speaker 1: a manhood. Sitting up there probably on the couch eating
- 50:14Speaker 1: up all up pop tarts and I've only had two
- 50:16Speaker 1: of them pop tarts, man, that's all. You ain't supposed
- 50:19Speaker 1: to be having none of them because I bought that
- 50:21Speaker 1: for my daughter. Man, and I appreciate you eat none
- 50:24Speaker 1: of that so that you need to get off you
- 50:26Speaker 1: and feed yourself like I do. I feed myself and
- 50:29Speaker 1: my daughter and probably kill. Let me trate this here, man,
- 50:33Speaker 1: I just want to talk to you about our child. Man,
- 50:35Speaker 1: our child. That ain't your child. That's I'm taking you.

- 51:00Speaker 1: the whole time. You're trying to walk up in here
- 51:02Speaker 1: and talk about hours. I'm her daddy. Man. I'm just
- 51:05Speaker 1: trying to be a good stuff for the man and
- 51:06Speaker 1: get them with a child to port. That's far. Y'all

- 51:49Speaker 1: you is my foot up, Yo, that's a man to
- 51:51Speaker 1: deal with. Man. I got one more thing I need
- 51:53Speaker 1: to say to you. Man, I don't want to hear
- 51:55Speaker 1: nothing else you got to say. Player, I didn't heard
- 51:57Speaker 1: everything you had to say. Let me tell you so, Man,
- 52:00Speaker 1: you want to job, we hire it right now. I'll
- 52:02Speaker 1: put you with the man in charge. I'll get you

- 52:07Speaker 1: don't like your attitude. You need to work with somebody
- 52:09Speaker 1: because you ain't working with nobody right now. I got
- 52:12Speaker 1: one more thing I need to say to you. It's
- 52:14Speaker 1: you listening. Man, say what the hell you got to say? Man,

- 54:21Speaker 1: It is thank you nephew. Subject she is going to
- 54:24Speaker 1: make me pop her. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm forty seven
- 54:29Speaker 1: and I've been dating a man that is married to
- 54:32Speaker 1: a woman with a very nasty personality, and she is
- 54:35Speaker 1: ugly inside and out. Do I need to read that
- 54:38Speaker 1: again for anyone? I went to college with her and
- 54:43Speaker 1: she had a few fights with women over her boyfriend
- 54:46Speaker 1: back then. She has made my current boyfriend miserable for
- 54:50Speaker 1: twelve years and they are finally getting a divorce. Since
- 54:53Speaker 1: I've been dating her husband, I see that he's being
- 54:57Speaker 1: bullied by her. I didn't want to believe it at
- 55:00Speaker 1: but she talks to him like he's a weakling, and
- 55:02Speaker 1: he won't say anything to her because she hits below
- 55:06Speaker 1: the belt. Recently, she shattered his cell phone and he
- 55:09Speaker 1: came to my house upset. I put him on my
- 55:12Speaker 1: phone plan and that's when she found out about me.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He called her one day and my name came up
- 55:18Speaker 1: on the caller ID at their house. If he feels threatened,
- 55:22Speaker 1: he comes to my house. He thinks she is going
- 55:25Speaker 1: to put her hands on him one day, and I
- 55:27Speaker 1: can't allow that to happen because he's a calm and
- 55:30Speaker 1: even tempered man. She has passed by my house. She
- 55:34Speaker 1: sat in my driveway before we let her. We let
- 55:37Speaker 1: her sit and look stupid because her marriage is over
- 55:40Speaker 1: and we're hoping she just goes away soon. This morning,
- 55:43Speaker 1: she was behind me in the drive through and I
- 55:46Speaker 1: was very nervous. I'm telling you that if she comes
- 55:49Speaker 1: in my face, I'm going to pop her. I have
- 55:53Speaker 1: everything to lose, but it will be worth it because
- 55:56Speaker 1: I've seen her mess with people for years. What she
- 55:59Speaker 1: doesn't know is I take boxing lessons as part of
- 56:02Speaker 1: my workout. She has one more time to crush my
- 56:06Speaker 1: man's spirit or damage his property. I know I'm wrong
- 56:09Speaker 1: for having this affair, but I love this man. Would
- 56:13Speaker 1: I be wrong if I popped her one good time?
- 56:16Speaker 1: I can't even believe you're asking that question. Seriously, lady, seriously,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I really think this letter is a waste of our time.
- 56:24Speaker 1: What you're asking the first line in this letter is
- 56:27Speaker 1: totally ridiculous. You're dating a man who is married to
- 56:32Speaker 1: a very nasty woman, A very nasty woman with a
- 56:36Speaker 1: nasty personality. Blah blah blah. Whatever you said. Is she
- 56:40Speaker 1: supposed to be nice and pleasant and kind to you?
- 56:43Speaker 1: You're dating her husband. You're the other woman. You have
- 56:47Speaker 1: no leg to stand on here. If he's planning on
- 56:50Speaker 1: divorcing her, why hasn't he done It sounds like he's
- 56:54Speaker 1: scared anyway. And in the meantime, who named you his
- 56:59Speaker 1: body guard? You're out of line on this one. You
- 57:03Speaker 1: sound crazy. And if this man continues to let you
- 57:06Speaker 1: fight his battles and can't stand up for himself, why
- 57:09Speaker 1: would you even want to be with him? Go ahead,
- 57:13Speaker 1: you can pop her if you want to, But I
- 57:15Speaker 1: don't think it's gonna go like you think it's gonna go.
- 57:18Speaker 1: You were very nervous when she was just sitting behind
- 57:21Speaker 1: you at the drive through. She hadn't even gotten out
- 57:24Speaker 1: of a car or anything. And please don't expect any
- 57:27Speaker 1: help from him, mister Coleman, and mile tempered because he's
- 57:31Speaker 1: scared her. He's hiding behind you. I think it's a
- 57:34Speaker 1: good thing you're taking boxing lessons, because it sounds like
- 57:37Speaker 1: you might need them real soon. I say, leave him alone,
- 57:41Speaker 1: leave her alone until they get divorced. That's the proper
- 57:44Speaker 1: way to handle a situation like this. But I know
- 57:46Speaker 1: it's too late for that advice because you're all in now, Steve. Well, lady,
- 57:55Speaker 1: the subject is she gonna make me poper. Now, what
- 57:59Speaker 1: I see in this letter's just been building up for
- 58:01Speaker 1: a while. Forty seven dating a man that is married.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Once you say that, whatever you say after that, really, really,
- 58:13Speaker 1: it don't even have to be because see, if you
- 58:17Speaker 1: just wasn't dating the man that's married, we don't have
- 58:20Speaker 1: this letter, right. So see, you complicated your life by
- 58:26Speaker 1: complicating a situation. I've been dating a man, this man
- 58:29Speaker 1: that's gonna come with some situations, that's gonna come with
- 58:32Speaker 1: the stipulations, problems, But she's married to a woman with
- 58:38Speaker 1: a very nasty personality. She is ugly inside and out.
- 58:44Speaker 1: And you know how she noticed because she went to
- 58:48Speaker 1: college with her and she had a few fights with
- 58:52Speaker 1: women over her boyfriend back then. Well, now let's go
- 58:58Speaker 1: over this please. She obviously you are calling her ugly
- 59:05Speaker 1: in and out. But seemed to me like according to
- 59:08Speaker 1: this letter, she keep a man. She didn't had a
- 59:12Speaker 1: man in college. She got a man. Naw, you didn't
- 59:16Speaker 1: have no man in college. You ain't married, So I
- 59:22Speaker 1: don't know if she really that ugly. Something going on
- 59:28Speaker 1: because she keep a man and you obviously don't. You
- 59:32Speaker 1: didn't hand a man in college. It ain't work out
- 59:35Speaker 1: for you, and you ain't got no husband, so you
- 59:36Speaker 1: got a house. She has made my current boyfriend miserable
- 59:41Speaker 1: for twelve years and they finally getting a divorce. That's
- 59:45Speaker 1: a slight, oh irony in this statement. She has made
- 59:49Speaker 1: my current boyfriend, but you're leaving out is husband. It's
- 59:55Speaker 1: her husband. What doesn't she get about? That's this letter
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: so confused? Yes, and she's made him miserable for twelve years,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: and how do you know accept that's what they told you?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: And they finally getting a divorce that since I've been
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: dating her husband. See right there, you keep plugging in
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: information that determines how bad your life is. You're just
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: saying it real simple right there. Since I've been dating
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: her husband, I see he's being bullied by her. Well,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: when we come back, we're gonna find out, jest, how
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: much a little boy being getting bullied by the school?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: All right, hang on, Steve, coming up with twenty three
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have part two of your response.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: The subject of today's strawberry letter, She's going to make
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: me pop her. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject, she is going to make
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: me pop her? For the seven year old lady dating
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: a married man. We're off to a rough start in
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: this letter, but that's high stars. But he's married to
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: a woman who with a very nasty personality. She ugly
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: inside and out. And the way she noticed it's because
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: she went to college with her and she had a
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: few fights with women over her boardfriend back then. Well,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: now she keep a man, that's always the case, and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: she keep a man that other women won't. So the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: lady that you think is so ugly in and out
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: keep having me and that other women won't. And now
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you won't the one she got now the other women
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: wanted the one she had in college. Maybe that's why
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: she got a nasty attitude. Everybody want what she got?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Whoa hello? Could this be it? And then you know
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: they finally getting a divorce now because he'd have made
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: her like miserable for twelve years. And since I've been
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: dating her husband. She put that line in there like
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: we weren't gonna notice it. Since since I've been dating
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: her husband, I see that he's being bullied by her.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I didn't want to believe it at first, But she
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: talks to him like he's a weakling, and he won't
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: say anything to her because she hits below the belt.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Wait a minute, so you're trying to tell me that
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: this man won't say nothing back to her because she
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: treats him like a weakly. You can't treat nobody like
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: a weakling. That ain't a weekly And then he won't
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: say anything to hub because she hits below the belt. Well,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: we both swinging low. Then you know i'd stay with you.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: But you're too small for me. Well let's swing back.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I'd stay with you, but you're too big for me.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: See see how that worked. See we can all hurt
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: each other, but you don't want to do that. That hurt.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: She talked to him like he's a weakling, and he
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: won't say anything because she hit below to me. Recently,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: she shouted his cell phone. He came to my house upset.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: She broke my phone that was in there mere talking
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: and I broke it. So I put him on my
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: phone plan and that's when she found out about me.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: He called. He called her one day and my name
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: came up on the call of I d at day house.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: How stupid is this food? He really he feels threatened,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: he comes to my house. If he feels threatened, he
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: come to my mouna, tell my mama. He thinks she's
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: gonna put her hands on him one day. Is she
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: gonna hit me? And when she hit me, I don't
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: know what I want to do. I can't a lot
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: that to happen because he's a calm and even temperate man.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: He's a weakling. She has passed by my house and
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: she said in my driveway before. Yeah, she gonna kill y'all.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: She yeah, just coming, just coming. See. We let her
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: sit and look stupid because her marriage is over and

- 1:04:22Speaker 1: we go. I'm telling you that if she comes in
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: my face, I'm gonna pop up. I have everything to lose,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: but it'll be worth it because I've seen her mess

- 1:22:17Speaker 1: cancer survivor is still fabulous. Yep. But a really really
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: great person, man. I think it's really really a sweetheart
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: of a person. War Lord ha Mercy can really really
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: do some clothes? Man? Yeah? Yeah. She started selling them
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: out of the trunk of her car. She used to
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: come up to our radio station in Chicago and bring
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: us clothes from the trunk of her car. That's how
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: she started out. Beautiful Stuff, Beautiful Things. Barbara Bates Designs
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: dot Com. Barbara Bates. Hey, everybody, listen. We're talking about
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: this voting and the significance of it, how important it
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: really is. We've got to turn out in this election, man,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I am telling you, man, I've heard some conversations from
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: some conservatives about what they're doing to ensure that they
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: get a victory this year. I mean they were upset man.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: First of all, you know, they know Donald Trump lost
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: the election. They know it was fair. They've gone over
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: sixty some judges to get their case heard, and all
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: of them has been thrown out because they don't have
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: any evidence. They've convinced a large group of people, and
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Trump has done this that he is still the most
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: valid and real Republican candidate and if they can get
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: him back in the twenty twenty four election to run
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: for president, they will because they don't have nobody else
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: and he controls the Republican Party with fear. I've never
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: seen these many cowardice men at one time holding public office.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I've never seen it. But let me tell you who
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: is not a group of cowards, and that's us. We
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: got four hundred years of proof that we're not cowards.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: But now we're in a different situation. We have some rights.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: They've been hard fought to get, but we have some
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: rights we and one of the main rights that was
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: fought and people died for was the right to vote.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: We've got to get to the polls and show them
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: that Georgia turning blue last time to put a war
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: knock and ass Off in that was not a fluke.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: That Georgia turning blue last time to get Biden in
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: over Trump was not a fluke. That Philly was not
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: a flu Detroit was not a fluke. Milwaukee was not
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: a fluke. The Carolinas don't have to be man. I
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: don't even understand how the Carolinas can beat us out.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: I just don't. We are there in record numbers. Man.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: You have got to get registered and vote. Stop sitting
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: around with your hands up under your ass complaining about
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: what is when you have the power to do something
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: about it. That's what amazes me. Man. I'm not gonna
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: be one of those people that's complaining about the situation
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: when I could do something about it. Now. We're not
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: gonna fix everything. We got that, but da'll going to
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: we can fix something. We can at least get equal
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: representation in areas we live in. We can at least
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: get somebody in office that will at least hear what
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: we're trying to say. There is nobody that's gonna fix us.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: There is nobody that's gonna come in on the white
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: horse and straighten it all out for us. I'm not
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: naive about that at all. But what we don't have
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: to do is sit by and keep allowing people to
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: get in office that don't give a damn about us,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: your hospitals, your education, your welfare, your safety. Man. They've
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: hijacked everything. They took Black Lives Matter, they turned it
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: into white lives matter, they turned it into blue lives matter.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: Blue ain't a life blue as a uniform, damn man.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: And ain't nobody saying they don't want police. We just
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: want good police. Man. I'm not an opponent of the police.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Just when we get pulled over and you come to
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: talk to us. Can we get the same treatment as
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: everybody else. That's what we need. We need some reform
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: in here. But damage police person is a good person.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: I got that for. We need some people in office
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: that's doing the right thing. Man. And we can vote.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams can be the next governor if all of
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: us get out and vote, especially men. If we get
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: off our ass and go to the polls and votes,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams is in and Kemp is out. Period. He
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: don't give a damn about you. I don't care what
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: rapper told you that. Well, we all vote dot org.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Go ahead, sign up, make sure you're registered. Everybody. We've
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: got to vote. Y'all have a great weekend. Okay, talk
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: to God. Need to vote, to your stuff. We're all.
