- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out the
- 1:47Speaker 4: water of the moat up. Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 3: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 3: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 2:12Speaker 3: nothing changes about that. Nothing changes about that.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:17Speaker 3: I was just getting ready to come on the air
- 2:20Speaker 3: this morning. I was just thinking, man, I was just
- 2:25Speaker 3: having a reflective moment of just how really good God
- 2:30Speaker 3: has been to me. I just it's it's it's man.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Let me just say that again, how really good God
- 2:39Speaker 3: has been to me. And here's a cold part. In
- 2:43Speaker 3: spite of myself, you understand, in spite of all my shortcomings,
- 2:49Speaker 3: in spite of all of my flaws.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And and and and and in.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Spite of all of what anybody has said about me, God,
- 3:00Speaker 3: through his grace and mercy, just keeps me anyway. So
- 3:04Speaker 3: many of us are exceptional people, but we refuse to
- 3:13Speaker 3: just go ahead and be exceptional. We settle for the ordinary,
- 3:19Speaker 3: We follow the pack, We try.
- 3:22Speaker 2: To fit in.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Man, oh man, oh man, You know I've heard my
- 3:26Speaker 3: wife say this to my children all the time. When
- 3:29Speaker 3: she's scolding him or talking to him. She'd be talking
- 3:32Speaker 3: to him about leadership. You know, why are you following
- 3:35Speaker 3: everybody when God clearly made you to lead? So many
- 3:38Speaker 3: of us are born, and so many of you are
- 3:41Speaker 3: born to be exceptional people, but we always trying to
- 3:46Speaker 3: follow the pack. Why would you try to fit in?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Why would you try to be like everybody else be ordinary?
- 3:56Speaker 3: Why would you follow the pack when God has created
- 4:00Speaker 3: you to be exceptional? The key word in exceptional is
- 4:04Speaker 3: except you. Ever you ever dine this right here? You know,
- 4:08Speaker 3: everybody did that accept me. Everybody felt that way except me.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Everybody said that except me. Everybody won't wanted that accept me.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Everybody went over there except me. Everybody jumped in except
- 4:28Speaker 3: me except me. See why have you said that in
- 4:33Speaker 3: your life if you were not to be exceptional? See
- 4:37Speaker 3: you got to say everybody except me at one point
- 4:40Speaker 3: in yo to I don't know who ain't done it?
- 4:43Speaker 3: You know everybody wanted. Everybody voted no except me. See,
- 4:48Speaker 3: so you're not You're not created to follow the pack.
- 4:52Speaker 3: You ain't created to fit in. You ain't created to,
- 4:55Speaker 3: uh you know, to be ordinary. You were created to
- 4:58Speaker 3: be exceptional, as exceptional as your fingerprint on your finger is.
- 5:04Speaker 3: You were created to be exceptional. Why not make this
- 5:07Speaker 3: the year that you go head on and be exceptional?
- 5:12Speaker 3: Why won't this be the year that you decide in
- 5:15Speaker 3: your mind? But just has to be a decision that
- 5:18Speaker 3: we make now, were not following the pack no more.
- 5:21Speaker 3: We not trying to fit in no more. We ain't
- 5:24Speaker 3: settling for ordinary no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But
- 5:29Speaker 3: you know you got to go ahead and follow that.
- 5:31Speaker 3: You got to get on the exceptional path because that's
- 5:34Speaker 3: what you were created for.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Why be ordinary? You know?
- 5:37Speaker 3: But all of this this comes It has to start
- 5:40Speaker 3: with a thought. You got to first think something. Thoughts
- 5:45Speaker 3: become things. A man is as he thinketh that's all
- 5:50Speaker 3: you will ever be. So what are your thoughts today?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts? Why
- 5:58Speaker 3: not have exceptional thoughts instead that are fitting me in thoughts?
- 6:01Speaker 2: So why you want to be like everybody else.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Why you want to be ordinary when you could possibly
- 6:06Speaker 3: be extraordinary with a change of your mind, a change
- 6:11Speaker 3: of your venue, And you don't have to be any
- 6:13Speaker 3: other kind of way just because my mama was this, well,
- 6:17Speaker 3: my daddy was this way, or this the school I
- 6:19Speaker 3: went to. This is what race I belong to, This
- 6:22Speaker 3: is my sexual preference, this is my this, this is
- 6:25Speaker 3: my dad?
- 6:26Speaker 2: How many? How many? How many excuses you need? I mean,
- 6:29Speaker 2: how many excuse?
- 6:30Speaker 6: What?
- 6:30Speaker 2: What? What? What?
- 6:31Speaker 3: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 3: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 3: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:43Speaker 3: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:48Speaker 3: all these years go by without changing. You're an exceptional person.
- 6:55Speaker 3: How many times have you set up and said, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 3: did that accept me? You know I was only everybody
- 7:02Speaker 3: jumped in except me. I told him I knew it.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Everybody voted for that except me, And now look at her, man,
- 7:11Speaker 3: it seemed like everybody went that way except me.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Okay, do you get it?
- 7:18Speaker 3: Do you understand what's being said to you that all
- 7:22Speaker 3: accept me is because couldn't it be because you're an
- 7:26Speaker 3: exceptional person, and it's time for you to take control
- 7:29Speaker 3: of that. It's time for you to start thinking different.
- 7:32Speaker 3: It's time for you to start acting on what you think.
- 7:35Speaker 3: It's time for you to start doing something about it.
- 7:38Speaker 3: It's time for you to stop taking each and every
- 7:40Speaker 3: day that God gives us for granted and letting them
- 7:43Speaker 3: go by the wayside.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Like you got plenty more.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Well, you may have plenty more, but guess what what
- 7:49Speaker 3: you wasting the ones you got for? I got you young,
- 7:53Speaker 3: and you feel like you're gonna live forever. Eyah, okay, cool,
- 7:57Speaker 3: But let me ask you something. See here the part
- 8:00Speaker 3: about it. I suppose you do live. See see, everybody
- 8:03Speaker 3: worried about dying. But I got news for you. Suppose
- 8:06Speaker 3: you keep on living. You want to keep living in
- 8:08Speaker 3: the condition you in now. You want to keep living
- 8:11Speaker 3: with the money you got now. You want to keep
- 8:13Speaker 3: living with the relationship you got now. You want to
- 8:16Speaker 3: keep living by yourself like you are now. You want
- 8:19Speaker 3: to keep wanting the right relationship, the right man to
- 8:22Speaker 3: the right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one.
- 8:24Speaker 3: You want to keep doing that for the rest of
- 8:26Speaker 3: your life. Problem ain't dying. There's problem is if.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You keep on living.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Who wants to keep on living just the way they
- 8:32Speaker 3: are right now?
- 8:34Speaker 2: And if you can.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Say I'm cool, what I am just the way I
- 8:36Speaker 3: am right now? In cool, this conversation ain't for you.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I ain't got no problem with that, you know, you know, say,
- 8:43Speaker 3: greatness ain't for everybody. Being exceptional ain't for everybody. Becoming
- 8:48Speaker 3: extraordinary ain't for everybody. Heck, becoming successful ain't for everybody.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I got it. And you can come up with a
- 8:56Speaker 3: way to justify your non existence and your ordinary life
- 8:59Speaker 3: all you want, and that's fine and dandy. I ain't
- 9:02Speaker 3: got no problem with it. Because some people just gonna
- 9:04Speaker 3: be regular, Some people just gonna follow the pack, follow
- 9:09Speaker 3: the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in. But
- 9:12Speaker 3: if you're not that person, if you want to be extraordinary,
- 9:16Speaker 3: if you want to be exceptional, if you want to
- 9:18Speaker 3: be if you want a dad to be great at something,
- 9:21Speaker 3: and you got to change your mindset. You got to
- 9:24Speaker 3: get what your creator and find out what he created
- 9:26Speaker 3: you for. You got to quit thinking of things just
- 9:28Speaker 3: in your own thought process, you know, lean not to
- 9:32Speaker 3: your own understanding. I don't know where that is, but
- 9:34Speaker 3: it's in there. Somewhere seeing. Once you lean, if you
- 9:38Speaker 3: lean to your own understanding, you know what it's gonna do.
- 9:40Speaker 3: It's gonna limit you. Man, it's gonna limit you. Why
- 9:43Speaker 3: not see what God got for you. I would rather
- 9:46Speaker 3: know what God got for me than to think of
- 9:49Speaker 3: all the things I could because I can't out think
- 9:51Speaker 3: him out and tried it before.
- 9:53Speaker 2: All right, it's just the beginning. We're gonna have a
- 9:55Speaker 2: good one.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Man.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's got morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:02Speaker 3: The time has come to give thanks again, to say

- 10:09Speaker 3: another chance, another ride into this wonderful thing called life.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I don't know about y'all, but I'm just grateful for it.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Every chance you get, you ought to just say thank you,
- 10:20Speaker 3: cause you know what I'm telling you, man, this is
- 10:21Speaker 3: just not a giving. It's just not It's an amazing blessing,
- 10:26Speaker 3: it is not a giving. So thank you Heavenly Father
- 10:29Speaker 3: for waking health this morning, giving me another chance.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And I'm gonna do something with this chance today too.
- 10:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna live my life in expectation, and I'm gonna
- 10:38Speaker 3: keep it filled with gratitude because your gratitude afects your attitude,
- 10:41Speaker 3: which has a strong correlation with your altitude. I believe
- 10:46Speaker 3: that I leave at so here it is Steve, Robert Martin,
- 10:48Speaker 3: is Joe Shirley Strawberry call the Parrell Mississippi, Monica. We
- 10:52Speaker 3: can't find Junior right now. And the legend that is
- 10:55Speaker 3: nephew Tommy. We can't find Junior right now. Well, everybody,
- 11:01Speaker 3: they're closing ceremonies.
- 11:03Speaker 2: How y'all doing this morning? Let me just say that.
- 11:05Speaker 3: At the time, good good, closing ceremonies have happened with
- 11:09Speaker 3: the Olympics.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Ah good, Yeah, you know.
- 11:14Speaker 7: A little salty about this whole gymnastic thing.
- 11:17Speaker 1: How they're doing our girl Jordan's job.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah, My question was, did they say something some Romanian
- 11:24Speaker 3: judges changed their mind.
- 11:26Speaker 1: They're saying the Americans didn't.
- 11:27Speaker 8: Contest in enough time, but you get a minute to contest,
- 11:32Speaker 8: and they were like four seconds over.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So when they went back.
- 11:36Speaker 2: The judges made a mistake. That's on them. Once you
- 11:40Speaker 2: give the.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Girl the medal, take it away. But we're talking about
- 11:43Speaker 6: days later now, That's what I'm talking about. That mind sense.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, And the USA, the Gymnastics committee, they have
- 11:52Speaker 7: receipts now saying that they did contest in time. Love
- 11:56Speaker 7: a good receipt. I'll love a good receipt. Go to
- 11:59Speaker 7: war for this girl.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I love it, hope. So you know I'll tell you
- 12:03Speaker 2: right now.
- 12:03Speaker 3: All I saw was Miss Universe twenty fifty yea.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Through me into something I would I don't even know.
- 12:15Speaker 7: Wrong country Columbia.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Who country? Won't get got you?
- 12:25Speaker 4: Change the channel?
- 12:26Speaker 2: See.
- 12:27Speaker 3: The only thing is the Olympic Committee need judges. They
- 12:30Speaker 3: get they get to make their mistake all behind the scene. No,
- 12:33Speaker 3: I'm all out front with mine. I think we need
- 12:36Speaker 3: to get all these damn judges names, get some photos
- 12:40Speaker 3: online and so they can get some of these some
- 12:42Speaker 3: of this hate mail that I was getting.
- 12:45Speaker 8: Getting them judges. You got to see the breakdancing competition.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Surely let me tell you something.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I don't know what the hell what's going on with
- 12:57Speaker 3: this damn breakdancing. But if y'all don't tell these black
- 13:01Speaker 3: people that this is an event. Okay, did you see
- 13:05Speaker 3: this girl from Australia?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Yes, not a good idea. This is not a good money. Man.

- 14:58Speaker 2: Uh.
- 14:59Speaker 6: He called, and Sister Darns told him he can't come
- 15:02Speaker 6: in here.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Jumping up and down, screaming.
- 15:05Speaker 6: And hollering, and at the end fill out and wind
- 15:07Speaker 6: up being a terrible member.
- 15:09Speaker 2: He wants to talk to you.
- 15:10Speaker 6: He's wanting to get by Sister Dars and talk directly
- 15:15Speaker 6: to you. But she told him, you can't come in
- 15:17Speaker 6: here jumping up and screaming and holland like you did
- 15:19Speaker 6: before the two and then.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not gonna do that here at the JP.
- 15:26Speaker 2: You're not gonna. Well, we're gonna low Or.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Brother No Louds to come to the church and talk
- 15:31Speaker 3: to me, but we is gonna have to address or
- 15:36Speaker 3: your interests or yeah, you know you can't make that
- 15:41Speaker 3: bigger intro and take third.
- 15:48Speaker 2: He had COVID after the race. We just showed up
- 15:52Speaker 2: at the race.
- 15:54Speaker 3: He had COVID after that boy from Botswana caught five.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Yes, he's here.
- 16:03Speaker 6: All right, Pastor. We are doing a gold drive, a
- 16:07Speaker 6: gold drive. We're melting down gold to make Jordan child
- 16:10Speaker 6: a new medal since they took hers away. Please talk
- 16:15Speaker 6: to Brother Clifford Riggins. He brought ten pounds of fake
- 16:18Speaker 6: gold and we didn't know what til we started melting
- 16:20Speaker 6: and everything tarn green. You're gonna have to have conversation
- 16:24Speaker 6: with him.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what to say about that.
- 16:31Speaker 3: We was very upset with our sister Jordan, or being
- 16:36Speaker 3: taken Hug or bronze medal from Hug.
- 16:42Speaker 2: So we're gonna deal.
- 16:43Speaker 3: With that accordingly or Dawn, Well, there will be a
- 16:50Speaker 3: full blown march about this here. If you keep on
- 16:53Speaker 3: keeping on with this here, that's all almost.
- 16:58Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:59Speaker 6: Uh, this brings our sad news. The praise team tried
- 17:04Speaker 6: to do a synchronized praise dance in the baptismic pool.
- 17:09Speaker 6: Two of them drown. It's a shame. Path I'm sorry
- 17:15Speaker 6: we lost two of them. They went down and tried
- 17:18Speaker 6: to stick their legs up and do a routine, and
- 17:21Speaker 6: two of them didn't come back up. It's a shame,
- 17:23Speaker 6: but we gonna praise. You know, I don't know what
- 17:26Speaker 6: to do, but you're gonna have to talk to them.
- 17:28Speaker 6: If you can't swim, don't try this at all.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Well, I personally have tried to get rid of the
- 17:34Speaker 3: praise team for a number.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Of years now, my gosh, because I done.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Told you these praise teams of these church, all these
- 17:42Speaker 3: heavyweight people during these little two and a half inch
- 17:46Speaker 3: jumps in these in the choir ROMs, and now you
- 17:51Speaker 3: just sit up here and walk all these white girls
- 17:53Speaker 3: do this synchronized swimmer and jo Joe fell asking that
- 17:56Speaker 3: baptom pool and turn upside down and to see what
- 17:59Speaker 3: happened with us.
- 18:01Speaker 2: To read the way the deaths.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Occurred was they was all in there and they turned
- 18:06Speaker 3: upside down, but they weighed so much it wasn't no
- 18:08Speaker 3: where to turned in the pool. They couldn't get their
- 18:12Speaker 3: legs back down, so they was upside down. Three people
- 18:15Speaker 3: jumped in to try to help it win them a
- 18:17Speaker 3: room in the pool, so we couldn't flip nobody over,
- 18:20Speaker 3: can't get them back out.
- 18:21Speaker 1: That artistic yea artistic swimming.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah, two of them gone got gon. Yeah, we've lost too.
- 18:34Speaker 3: It takes a whole new meaning to the song take
- 18:39Speaker 3: Me to the Water.
- 18:43Speaker 9: Dig.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Don't nobody want to sing that no more?
- 18:51Speaker 3: All situation, one last thing or we are now considering
- 18:56Speaker 3: changing our baptism to white folks style where we just
- 18:59Speaker 3: throw the water on your forehead.
- 19:03Speaker 6: Not to save lives. That will save something, all right,
- 19:08Speaker 6: big issue here. Sister murder Green Nord. Today she called
- 19:13Speaker 6: the SWAT team to come out to her house. When
- 19:16Speaker 6: they got out there, she said, it's four flies in
- 19:20Speaker 6: the kitchen and two roaches in the bathroom.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Swap them and let me know when y'all are.
- 19:25Speaker 6: They didn't charge her fifteen hundred dollars for calling that.
- 19:30Speaker 6: They say they are a swat team. They are not
- 19:33Speaker 6: out here for no insects. She barely said it. Fifteen
- 19:36Speaker 6: hundred dollars basket. Yeah, I don't, She said, get the
- 19:42Speaker 6: swatten And they did not understand why they would she
- 19:45Speaker 6: would call them out there to swat no flies and
- 19:48Speaker 6: some roaches, and I just.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Well, we don't leave her in there for a while,
- 19:54Speaker 3: and let just be a teaching moment.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Swatch stands for special whip and tactics.
- 20:02Speaker 7: Oh okay, okay, oh if you hood.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Swat team stands for special weed at.
- 20:15Speaker 1: The trap.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Just where you at.
- 20:25Speaker 6: Last, but not leave Pastor brother Gerard. Brother Gerard had
- 20:28Speaker 6: a bad case of the hiccups while having sex with
- 20:32Speaker 6: his sea seapop on with the call girl he paid
- 20:36Speaker 6: five hundred dollars tude.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I had sleep app noel at one point, and I'm
- 20:40Speaker 3: gonna tell you right now, if you get the hiccups
- 20:43Speaker 3: with that cup on, it sucks on your face and
- 20:45Speaker 3: you can't get it off, we gotta go. He got
- 20:50Speaker 3: a problem. The engineer, Dave, you know, exactly what I'm
- 20:53Speaker 3: talking about.
- 20:53Speaker 8: As the clop Love Officers Steve Harvey.
- 20:56Speaker 1: And you're listening.

- 21:11Speaker 8: in Atlanta, August twenty third through the twenty fifth. Steve Harvey,
- 21:14Speaker 8: of course, is a special guest this year as always,
- 21:17Speaker 8: and we'll tell you who else will be there.
- 21:20Speaker 1: That's all coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:22Speaker 8: But right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:26Speaker 8: our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Here we go, Steve Melody in Phoenix.
- 21:31Speaker 8: Right, So, my daughter's dad is black and I'm white,
- 21:34Speaker 8: got it. My parents have met him, but I've never
- 21:37Speaker 8: met his mom. He flew home so his mom could
- 21:40Speaker 8: meet the baby, but I had to work. I haven't
- 21:43Speaker 8: even seen his mom on FaceTime. Do you think she
- 21:46Speaker 8: knows I'm white?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Hey, she sees a baby?
- 21:50Speaker 3: No, probably not. You'd have heard about that body, probably not.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Probably not. But it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay.
- 21:59Speaker 2: You know.
- 21:59Speaker 3: I don't think you have nothing to worry about her
- 22:00Speaker 3: concern yourself. You wasn't concerned about him being black when
- 22:03Speaker 3: y'all had your daughter, So don't worry about it. I mean, why,
- 22:08Speaker 3: I mean, and I'm pretty sure that you know I'm
- 22:11Speaker 3: gonna just say something. Once the grandkid is involved. It
- 22:14Speaker 3: kind of you know, yeah, it kind of cushions the blow,
- 22:19Speaker 3: so to speak.
- 22:20Speaker 2: But that may not be a blow at all.
- 22:22Speaker 3: So why why interject this anxiety over something you don't
- 22:26Speaker 3: even know?
- 22:28Speaker 2: Does she know I'm white? I don't know what difference
- 22:31Speaker 2: would make you?
- 22:31Speaker 1: You white?
- 22:35Speaker 3: Hidden?
- 22:36Speaker 6: You ain't the first white woman that's been hidden. They
- 22:40Speaker 6: had this black guy hired white women all the time.
- 22:43Speaker 6: They do that a lot.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Well, you're not gonna be the first white lady to
- 22:46Speaker 3: come over some black people house and suffer from anxiety.
- 22:49Speaker 2: My cousin bought a white girl to the house.
- 22:52Speaker 3: And the only problem was she changed the baby dip
- 22:54Speaker 3: on the dining room table that said all the black
- 22:56Speaker 3: women out.
- 22:57Speaker 2: So that was a bad.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Yell, that was a bad jump off, said all the
- 23:03Speaker 3: black women against her. Right away. She didn't gain no friends.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I didn't see nothing wrong with it. That ain't decided
- 23:10Speaker 3: table I ate on no way, so I didn't really care,
- 23:16Speaker 3: all right?
- 23:16Speaker 8: Moving on, moving on to Destiny in Hartford, thelo Destiny
- 23:22Speaker 8: says my accent I dated before I met my husband
- 23:25Speaker 8: was in a bad car accident. I was devastated when
- 23:29Speaker 8: I got the news. My husband didn't like how I responded,
- 23:32Speaker 8: and he yelled at me. How am I wrong for
- 23:34Speaker 8: being sad after hearing that my ex almost died?
- 23:39Speaker 2: Well, you know, be sad over there somewhere.
- 23:43Speaker 1: She was, okay that she's sad, but yeah you can.
- 23:46Speaker 3: You can be sad, but cat that over the call
- 23:48Speaker 3: one of your girlfriends. Go drank tea and be sad
- 23:51Speaker 3: over there, you.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Know, and be sad. Why I'm paying rent? I do.
- 23:58Speaker 2: That's how a man accident.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Was personally, That's how it goes. That's how it goes.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Flip.
- 24:06Speaker 3: He tow his foot off and now he's you know whatever,
- 24:10Speaker 3: and ain't got nothing to do with me? Wow?
- 24:12Speaker 2: What you finnah do? Or stop all this crying up
- 24:14Speaker 2: in the hi though?
- 24:16Speaker 6: Oh?
- 24:16Speaker 8: Because what it makes you think that she still has
- 24:18Speaker 8: feelings for him is that I don't.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I don't want to hear because I'm not gonna share that,
- 24:24Speaker 3: and then I'm not finna hold you see hear what
- 24:27Speaker 3: I'm because you know, if my girl upset, I hold
- 24:30Speaker 3: her and console her.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I'm not finna do.
- 24:31Speaker 1: That because she's crying over another man.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not finna do that. I don't know what
- 24:40Speaker 2: she wanted me to do.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Or something like that, but I understand where he coming from.
- 24:48Speaker 3: I understand exactly where he's coming from. And most me,
- 24:51Speaker 3: what did you say.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Shure, they're not even together anymore?
- 24:53Speaker 2: What I mean?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:58Speaker 4: Almost?
- 24:59Speaker 10: And so if he had died, it would be okay.
- 25:06Speaker 3: I almost hit the powerball lottery last month. But here
- 25:11Speaker 3: I am back at work again.
- 25:14Speaker 1: All right. Moving on to.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Teresia, y'all, won't killing hisself.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I'll be sitting there going, who are you talking about?
- 25:35Speaker 1: Robert?
- 25:36Speaker 2: Robert Robert.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yes, it's a human being.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Still, I don't understand about how I feel about Robert
- 25:50Speaker 3: that you could have came in with the ultimate bat.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Robert could have man imitation.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Okay, all right, just.
- 25:56Speaker 8: Wrong, all right, we're moving on. We're moving on. And uh,
- 26:01Speaker 8: Augusta says, I had sex a few times with a
- 26:03Speaker 8: guy that lives in my complex. I saw him with
- 26:06Speaker 8: another girl. So I waved and blew my horn so
- 26:09Speaker 8: he would know I saw him. He called and said
- 26:13Speaker 8: that was his girlfriend, and I was wrong for that.
- 26:15Speaker 1: How am I wrong for what I did?
- 26:18Speaker 2: Blowing your damn horn? Fuck? Yeah, but I need to
- 26:23Speaker 2: see you?
- 26:23Speaker 9: What is that?
- 26:24Speaker 3: All you did was sleep with a man in your complex.
- 26:28Speaker 3: You don't know nothing else about him.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Man had to let it.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Got to stop sleeping with these dudes and think that's
- 26:38Speaker 3: gonna be there. That's that's that's the blue ribbon.
- 26:41Speaker 9: Now.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I slept with him here. He needed to see me.
- 26:45Speaker 3: He saw you and you here, Uh huh. Yeah, he
- 26:51Speaker 3: don't do that no more. That was my girlfriend.
- 26:53Speaker 2: What you doing? What are you doing? Blowing your damn

- 27:09Speaker 3: act like I ain't never seen you before?
- 27:12Speaker 4: To me.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Over there, all right? Last one, last one, Steve.
- 27:21Speaker 8: This is from Donald in West Philly. Donald writes, I
- 27:25Speaker 8: had dinner with a woman that I pursued for a while.
- 27:28Speaker 8: The whole dinner she talked about carbs and calories, so
- 27:31Speaker 8: I lost my appetite. She said she would pick the
- 27:34Speaker 8: restaurant the next day if we go out again, how
- 27:37Speaker 8: do I get her to hush and enjoy dinner?
- 27:42Speaker 3: Well, you know, y'all just met. You know, she'd look
- 27:46Speaker 3: probably nervous, you know, trying to make you think she
- 27:50Speaker 3: more fit than she really is. And here talking about
- 27:53Speaker 3: carbs and calories. She won't to pick the restaurant, you know,
- 27:56Speaker 3: and all this. It just could be some nervous conversation. Man,
- 27:59Speaker 3: But why would you? Why would you if if, if
- 28:04Speaker 3: you pursued her for a long time, just could be
- 28:06Speaker 3: a valuable catch?
- 28:07Speaker 2: What you mad? Because she talking about cabs and calories
- 28:10Speaker 2: for us?
- 28:11Speaker 1: I guess was he bored?
- 28:14Speaker 2: Well you know what, start start talk about something else.
- 28:19Speaker 1: He just let her dominate the conversation.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Huh, yeah, you change the subject.
- 28:25Speaker 2: You know what would you have would have said, Well,
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna let you.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Talk about all the cars and calories you want. Then
- 28:31Speaker 3: we get into how you want to burn them. You know,
- 28:33Speaker 3: we can have that conversation. I get it around to
- 28:35Speaker 3: where it need to be.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all right.
- 28:38Speaker 3: I like it right here, you talking about the cabs
- 28:40Speaker 3: and calories all you want to. Eventually we're gonna have
- 28:42Speaker 3: to get around to how we're gonna burn it and
- 28:44Speaker 3: now we be all right here. You see, he don't
- 28:47Speaker 3: he don't know the game.
- 28:48Speaker 4: No, he young.
- 28:49Speaker 3: He wan't to hel up get to the conversation, but
- 28:51Speaker 3: he don't know how to use the existing conversation to
- 28:53Speaker 3: create the desired conversation. Okay, man, he don't know nothing.
- 28:59Speaker 3: These young dudes right now, they don't know nut.
- 29:03Speaker 1: All right, thank god, we have you to school us.

- 29:36Speaker 3: Fest and this year's atl invest Fest. It kicks off
- 29:41Speaker 3: August twenty third at the Georgia World Congress Center. You

- 30:18Speaker 3: have some information for you at invest Fest that can
- 30:21Speaker 3: be life changing.
- 30:23Speaker 2: So happy to be a part of it. Please, welcome
- 30:25Speaker 2: to the show.
- 30:25Speaker 3: The creators of invest Fest, Troy Millings and Mashad.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Belau, Welcome back, guys.
- 30:32Speaker 2: How you doing again, fellas, How y'all doing man?
- 30:36Speaker 11: Good y'all doing man? Thank you for having us. Always
- 30:39Speaker 11: a pleasure.
- 30:40Speaker 2: All fit Well it.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Is man, Let's get right into it, man, because this
- 30:44Speaker 3: year at invest Fest. You know, over the years we've
- 30:46Speaker 3: had some serious discussions about investing, entrepreneurship, talking about entertainment,
- 30:52Speaker 3: pop culture.
- 30:54Speaker 2: All of this is in a festival setting.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Well, this year it kicks off on Friday, August twenty
- 31:00Speaker 3: third in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center. And
- 31:05Speaker 3: I see right now you've landed something that's going to
- 31:08Speaker 3: be interesting to everybody. We will see fifty this year
- 31:14Speaker 3: at Investments.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yeah, sir.
- 31:21Speaker 11: Now, people I don't think they realize how much of
- 31:24Speaker 11: a mobile he is. When you look at you kind
- 31:27Speaker 11: of like to come in the new version of College Curry.
- 31:29Speaker 11: As far as what he's been able to create on
- 31:31Speaker 11: his entertainment side with the shows and the television TV
- 31:36Speaker 11: so he's built and even Streetport, Louisiana, he's kind of
- 31:39Speaker 11: like taking over that whole city and turned it into
- 31:42Speaker 11: an entertainment house. So his business acumen is something that
- 31:46Speaker 11: we've always respected him. We always wanted to have a
- 31:48Speaker 11: conversation with him, and we spoke to him for a
- 31:51Speaker 11: couple of hours. So he is excited to you know,
- 31:54Speaker 11: share his journeys, his business document, his plans for the future.
- 32:00Speaker 11: Think that of course is gonna be entertaining. So I
- 32:02Speaker 11: think that that's something that people will really enjoy.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I like that that that uh that that that deal
- 32:09Speaker 3: getting fifty in this thing man.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Because he is a really really smart guy.
- 32:14Speaker 3: I mean from all the way back to the vitamin water,
- 32:16Speaker 3: from flipping the script to running his own tools to
- 32:19Speaker 3: everything he's doing in shreport. Now think that'd be exciting information.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Also this year, let's talk about the Nipsey Hustle Bris
- 32:27Speaker 3: Business Grant. Uh, we've got this Nipsey Hustle bus Go.
- 32:30Speaker 3: This is the first that invests fast. You got together
- 32:33Speaker 3: with Microsoft and the Marathon Uh to award one hundred
- 32:38Speaker 3: k to an outstanding entrepreneur.
- 32:41Speaker 2: To fuel their business ambitions.
- 32:43Speaker 9: Uh.
- 32:44Speaker 2: How do you select the winner? And how did this
- 32:45Speaker 2: come about?
- 32:46Speaker 12: You know, we have the honor of working with the
- 32:48Speaker 12: Marathon team, who is obviously Nissi Hustle's brother and part.
- 32:53Speaker 11: Of some of the business founders.
- 32:55Speaker 12: And so what's happening in this year.
- 32:56Speaker 2: We understand that.
- 32:57Speaker 11: This is their impact.
- 32:58Speaker 12: And one of the things that that we have that's
- 33:00Speaker 12: hard in our community is the afters the capital.
- 33:02Speaker 11: And so we were able to team up with Microsoft to.
- 33:04Speaker 12: Give out one hundred thousand to an entrepreneur. And think
- 33:07Speaker 12: of it as almost like American Idol, where there's gonna
- 33:10Speaker 12: be around leading up to a finals that'll take place
- 33:15Speaker 12: on stage and says and so Friday, we'll have over
- 33:19Speaker 12: one hundred people come in, we'll have the present their businesses,
- 33:23Speaker 12: in front of judges and that will be where I'm
- 33:25Speaker 12: down with four people. And then Saturday they presents in
- 33:27Speaker 12: front of the in the main stage with you know,
- 33:29Speaker 12: over ten thousand people in attendance. Award a winner one
- 33:33Speaker 12: hundred thousand dollars, which is an incredible, incredible way to
- 33:37Speaker 12: start your business and really you know, spark innovation and
- 33:41Speaker 12: sciety business with that type of capital.
- 33:43Speaker 3: It's a lot of big, big, that's a lot that
- 33:47Speaker 3: that that can get you off to a great start.
- 33:50Speaker 3: And that's that's a lot of problem for some of us.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Sometimes it's just start up capital. But I always say,
- 33:58Speaker 3: just everybody can start business.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Everybody.
- 34:02Speaker 3: You don't need one hundred thousand to get started, and
- 34:05Speaker 3: stop letting that stop you.
- 34:06Speaker 2: But if you get an opportunity to.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Get a grant four hundred thousand dollars, you sure is
- 34:11Speaker 3: a big shot in the arm.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I'll tell you that, that's for sure.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Hey, look y'all at invest Fest for tickets, all you
- 34:18Speaker 3: gotta do is go to invest Fest dot com. Now, fellas,
- 34:21Speaker 3: it's gonna be all panel discussions, we got vendor marketplace,
- 34:25Speaker 3: live musical performances, we got podcast stages for interviews with
- 34:29Speaker 3: different celebrities.
- 34:30Speaker 2: We got a food truck caravan. It's so much more.
- 34:34Speaker 11: When you look at the lineup, I mean, it's so
- 34:36Speaker 11: impressive yourself. We have fifty ten. Of course, we have
- 34:41Speaker 11: Steven A. Smith, we have Daman John, so the lineup
- 34:44Speaker 11: is just impressive. We have Van Jones who's bringing in
- 34:47Speaker 11: a tech incubator for five panel discussions on artificial intelligence,
- 34:53Speaker 11: and the Vendom marketplaces is the largest Vendo marketplace, most insightful.
- 34:58Speaker 11: Troy talked about one hundred thousand. Will also giving away
- 35:00Speaker 11: twenty five thousand to a woman my business, and then
- 35:03Speaker 11: there's another twenty five thousand that devil is given away
- 35:06Speaker 11: to somebody up in the marketplace. So one hundred thousands
- 35:09Speaker 11: of dollars are then to be given away. So I
- 35:10Speaker 11: just think the energy and to give back that the
- 35:14Speaker 11: importance of artificial intelligence right now is the very pivotal
- 35:18Speaker 11: time in our society. So I feel like this is
- 35:21Speaker 11: the most important invest Fest ever and it definitely will
- 35:24Speaker 11: be the most impactful whatever.
- 35:27Speaker 3: I need everybody to show up at invest Fest. If
- 35:29Speaker 3: you haven't ever been, it's worth the investment in yourself.
- 35:32Speaker 3: All you got to do now is go to invest
- 35:34Speaker 3: Fest Dot com invest Fest dot com for this year
- 35:38Speaker 3: is our tenerary and ticket information.
- 35:41Speaker 2: We will be waiting on you. Everybody that I know has.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Gained valuable information from this and this year would be
- 35:47Speaker 3: no exception. Got some great speakers. Troy Rashad, Thank y'all
- 35:51Speaker 3: man for joining us this morning.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Well, thank you for having us invest.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Fest dot com. Everybody, Steve Harvey mart the show. We'll
- 35:59Speaker 3: be right back.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're listening morning show.
- 36:03Speaker 8: So they're calling it the Trump slump. Now, you know
- 36:07Speaker 8: Donald Trump, uh grabbing at straws now because he doesn't
- 36:11Speaker 8: know how to handle the opposition Kamala Harris and Tim
- 36:15Speaker 8: Walls from Minnesota. So recently some tapes were released leaked,
- 36:21Speaker 8: i should say, by people in his own camp that
- 36:24Speaker 8: have Trump calling Kamala Harris the B word.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Do you guys hear that?
- 36:29Speaker 2: Yeah? I saw that.
- 36:32Speaker 4: You saw that too, Okay, Steve, So.
- 36:35Speaker 10: Yeah, But if if if he said that, they should
- 36:43Speaker 10: get that clip and make it an ad, that should
- 36:46Speaker 10: be a campaign ad.
- 36:48Speaker 3: I mean, look, I mean I don't know how else. Look,
- 36:51Speaker 3: the Trump supporter is going to vote for Trump. I
- 36:54Speaker 3: don't care what he do. Got that right, but that
- 37:00Speaker 3: there are a lot of undecided voters. There are a
- 37:03Speaker 3: lot of on the fence, and there are a lot
- 37:06Speaker 3: of Republicans who are repulsed by the type of character
- 37:11Speaker 3: that this man has exhibited. But when you look, it
- 37:15Speaker 3: started with the you can grab a woman comment any
- 37:20Speaker 3: for this first campaign. Then you set up in here
- 37:24Speaker 3: and you put the Supreme Court together that reversus Row
- 37:27Speaker 3: versus Wade. Now, woman can't make a decision about her body.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Now you sending your chubby ass on the golf course
- 37:35Speaker 3: talking about the Vice President of the United States as
- 37:38Speaker 3: a b I mean, look, I don't know how much
- 37:42Speaker 3: I don't know how much or disrespect you can show
- 37:48Speaker 3: towards a woman before they get sick of it. Most
- 37:51Speaker 3: women you will not allow you to disrespect them at all.
- 37:55Speaker 2: But I don't know how much you.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Get to do freely to exhibit to them that you
- 38:00Speaker 3: don't care about them.
- 38:02Speaker 8: Well, he's not doing it to her face, like she
- 38:04Speaker 8: said directly to her.
- 38:08Speaker 3: But you know he's he's from the boys club. That's
- 38:12Speaker 3: that entitledment. That's that how they really feel about women
- 38:17Speaker 3: as a piece of property on innate kN object for
- 38:20Speaker 3: their pleasure that they can buy. I've seen him before
- 38:24Speaker 3: in all types of versions. But I've just need you

- 44:37Speaker 8: because right now it is time for the nephew and
- 44:39Speaker 8: today's prank phone call.
- 44:41Speaker 1: NEF what you got for us?
- 44:43Speaker 6: Well, we are in the middle of Uh, this is
- 44:46Speaker 6: butt Man. We're about to call button Maine. Okay, that's
- 44:49Speaker 6: the name of it, Butt Main. Yeah. Yeah, he been
- 44:52Speaker 6: xerox in his butt on the copy machine at the job.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Button Man. Yes, he needs to do. We need to
- 45:00Speaker 2: line people up. We can figure out who button Man he.
- 45:03Speaker 2: We just take a listen. Here we go.
- 45:04Speaker 6: Oh, we're gonna find out who butt Man is. We
- 45:08Speaker 6: got a copy of it, so we gonna we know
- 45:10Speaker 6: we knew it when we see it. Let's go catch up. Hello, Hey,
- 45:14Speaker 6: I'm trying to read Vaughan. Please vn This is Darius.
- 45:18Speaker 6: Darius with human resources.
- 45:20Speaker 2: How are you?
- 45:21Speaker 11: I'm doing fine? Can I help you?
- 45:24Speaker 13: Yeah, listen, we have an incident that has taken place
- 45:28Speaker 13: at the job you actually, what floor are you on?
- 45:32Speaker 2: VN? I'm all for twelve floor twelve? All right?
- 45:37Speaker 13: So do you use the copy machine that often on
- 45:41Speaker 13: that floor?
- 45:42Speaker 9: Not all the time, but I do use it every once.
- 45:44Speaker 13: In a while, Okay, every once in a while. So
- 45:47Speaker 13: here's what's going on. There's gonna be some actions being
- 45:50Speaker 13: taken place here pretty soon, some legal actions, and we're
- 45:54Speaker 13: just clearing everybody. You know, this is this is just
- 45:57Speaker 13: a proper procedure that we're having to go through.
- 46:00Speaker 2: So let me just kind of enlighten you on what's
- 46:02Speaker 2: taking place.
- 46:02Speaker 13: Someone on the twelfth floor has copied their butt on
- 46:08Speaker 13: a piece of paper.
- 46:09Speaker 2: In the copy machine.
- 46:10Speaker 13: So someone actually sat up on the xerox machine and
- 46:13Speaker 13: copied their butt. Why someone would do that, I have
- 46:15Speaker 13: no earthly idea. But what's happening now is everyone on
- 46:20Speaker 13: your floor is going to have to come in and
- 46:23Speaker 13: show their butt. So we're scheduling this now. I'm thinking
- 46:27Speaker 13: Friday at eleven am. Would that be so y'all talking?
- 46:35Speaker 9: Y'all talking? About y'all want me to come up there
- 46:37Speaker 9: and show show my show my bo because somebody, I'm
- 46:42Speaker 9: a grown man. Okay, I'm a grown man. I ain't
- 46:45Speaker 9: do that.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Okay, you know what. I believe you.
- 46:48Speaker 13: I believe you wholeheartedly, Von, But just to clear your name,
- 46:51Speaker 13: we have to, I hate to say it, clear your
- 46:54Speaker 13: butt as well. So we want to make sure we're
- 46:57Speaker 13: going to find out whose butt this is on a
- 46:58Speaker 13: piece of paper, that did this.
- 47:00Speaker 9: We're gonna find you're gonna find you're gonna find out
- 47:02Speaker 9: who's You're gonna find out whose cheeks those are, and
- 47:04Speaker 9: you're gonna find that real quickly. In our mind. All right,
- 47:06Speaker 9: I'm not doing that, man, I'm not gonna come in.
- 47:09Speaker 9: You said Friday.
- 47:10Speaker 2: You're doing this on Friday, Friday.
- 47:12Speaker 9: At eleven, not coming at my day off. I'm pulling
- 47:15Speaker 9: my pasts down. Let some strangers looking really look at
- 47:19Speaker 9: my look at my cheeks, talking about somebody copied. I'm
- 47:23Speaker 9: not doing that.
- 47:24Speaker 2: I don't I don't want to.
- 47:26Speaker 13: I don't want this to take a turn, Vin, because
- 47:28Speaker 13: right now, this is if you're not if you're saying
- 47:31Speaker 13: you're not coming in, then other actions will be taking place.
- 47:34Speaker 13: If you don't come in and follow the precedure that
- 47:37Speaker 13: everybody's saying. Everybody else that I'm calling they have to
- 47:41Speaker 13: come in.
- 47:41Speaker 9: How many how many people work on that floor?
- 47:43Speaker 2: There's at least eighty plus people on that floor.
- 47:47Speaker 9: You're talking about trying to have eighty plus people come
- 47:50Speaker 9: in drive all the way to work, so some strangers
- 47:54Speaker 9: and we don't even know can look at our look
- 47:56Speaker 9: at our cheeks, and I'm not gonna do that. I
- 47:59Speaker 9: don't know who did it, but I know they ain't me.
- 48:01Speaker 6: Well, somebody, somebody xeroxs there butt on the twelfth floor,
- 48:07Speaker 6: and we're gonna get to okay, but we're gonna get
- 48:09Speaker 6: to the bottom of who did it and what you're
- 48:12Speaker 6: what you're not gonna do, von is tell me you're
- 48:14Speaker 6: not coming in. What you're not gonna do? Do you
- 48:17Speaker 6: like your job here with this company?
- 48:19Speaker 9: Okay? What you're not gonna do is exactly like you're
- 48:22Speaker 9: gonna fire me because I'm not gonna show y'all my
- 48:24Speaker 9: sweet goodies just because you just because you're from HR
- 48:28Speaker 9: you got me food. If you actually expect me to
- 48:30Speaker 9: think that everybody that work from this floor is over here,
- 48:34Speaker 9: like oh yeah, sure, I'll go with some strangers. Look
- 48:36Speaker 9: at mine, Look at my crack. You must be playing, no, sir,
- 48:41Speaker 9: not with me.
- 48:41Speaker 13: Okay, let me ask let me, let me ask you this.
- 48:45Speaker 13: Do you have a coworker named Andre?
- 48:47Speaker 9: Andre? Yes?
- 48:49Speaker 13: Okay, and Andre says he knows you now, I'm just
- 48:52Speaker 13: gonna put it out here. Andre is stating that it
- 48:55Speaker 13: could have possibly been you.
- 48:58Speaker 9: Really, Andre got a nerve to say it could have
- 49:01Speaker 9: been me? Smith, Andre? Why didn't he trying to single
- 49:05Speaker 9: me out? Like I even use that damn copier not
- 49:08Speaker 9: around there playing games. I'm a grown man. He be
- 49:11Speaker 9: out of his mind thinking he gonna say I did it.
- 49:15Speaker 2: All I know is he stated that you were a possibility.
- 49:17Speaker 2: That's what. That's what he stated.
- 49:19Speaker 9: He said I was a possibility. That that's dumb. He
- 49:23Speaker 9: ain't have absolutely the reason to think it. I don't
- 49:25Speaker 9: even used that copier, man, I use that thing like
- 49:28Speaker 9: once every two to three weeks, everybody on that floor.
- 49:31Speaker 6: Okay, So out of once every two three weeks, is
- 49:34Speaker 6: there a possibility maybe you propped your butt up there
- 49:36Speaker 6: and copied it?
- 49:38Speaker 9: Not at all, y'all ain't even told me when this happened.
- 49:41Speaker 9: I probably wasn't even working when the booty m you
- 49:45Speaker 9: can you must be out your mind. You can waste
- 49:48Speaker 9: everybody else's time trying to bring everyone in to get
- 49:51Speaker 9: a free strip show. But you're not gonna do that
- 49:53Speaker 9: to me. This has to be unethical and illegal on
- 49:57Speaker 9: so many levels. You're trying to come in and say
- 50:00Speaker 9: everybody on the entire floor has to come show that man.
- 50:04Speaker 9: You want to be kidding me? What's your name? The
- 50:07Speaker 9: whole time you're trying to call me saying this is
- 50:09Speaker 9: HR what's your name?
- 50:10Speaker 13: Because when I'm Darius, I'm Darius out of human Resources.
- 50:14Speaker 2: I told you that when I first called you.
- 50:16Speaker 9: Out and well Darius, well Darius, when I do come
- 50:19Speaker 9: into work, I want.
- 50:22Speaker 2: To see let me ask you this VN. Do you
- 50:24Speaker 2: know Leslie Leslie?
- 50:27Speaker 9: I know that better not either say.
- 50:30Speaker 2: My name, but so you do know Leslie?
- 50:33Speaker 9: Yes, I know Leslie. She works there with me. So
- 50:36Speaker 9: you're trying to tell me that Leslie said this to uh.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Do you want to know what Leslie said?
- 50:41Speaker 9: Yes? I would like you to know what Leslie says,
- 50:44Speaker 9: so when I cuss her out.
- 50:45Speaker 6: I get it right, Okay, Leslie told me to tell
- 50:48Speaker 6: you that this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey More.
- 50:51Speaker 2: On the show.
- 50:52Speaker 14: And you just got breaked by your coworker Leslie and Andre.
- 50:57Speaker 14: Oh Man, Leslie and Andre got me the prank phone

- 51:23Speaker 13: Tell me this, man, what is the baddest and I
- 51:25Speaker 13: mean the baddest radio show in the lane?
- 51:27Speaker 9: The Steve Harvey Morning Show? Somebody is dance really gonna whoop?
- 51:32Speaker 2: Y'all? And now you have it? And which out of
- 51:40Speaker 2: our group do you think we copy date? But which
- 51:42Speaker 2: one out of.
- 51:43Speaker 7: The one that's your King of Franks.
- 51:49Speaker 2: New hesitation of who?
- 51:52Speaker 1: I mean you will win the gold medal?
- 51:56Speaker 3: Some I'm always the I mean, let me ask you this,
- 52:01Speaker 3: who's the least likely one of the ladies to do it?
- 52:05Speaker 6: The least likely one? I don't know, man, I think
- 52:12Speaker 6: they all do its thing. Ain't gonna lot to you
- 52:15Speaker 6: could call I know, call it, call call it. I
- 52:20Speaker 6: haven't seen the hotel. Too many people to kiss her
- 52:22Speaker 6: at so ill she is still copy of it in her.

- 52:52Speaker 8: said about her. We'll get into that right after this.
- 52:55Speaker 1: You're listening hard Morning show.

- 53:11Speaker 8: live on the air, just like we're gonna read this
- 53:14Speaker 8: one right here, right now, and you never know, it
- 53:16Speaker 8: could be yours.
- 53:17Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:20Speaker 2: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:22Speaker 8: Thanking a few subject. He repeated everything I said about her.
- 53:27Speaker 8: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a single mother to a seven
- 53:30Speaker 8: year old boy, so I'm working two jobs to keep
- 53:33Speaker 8: him in private school. His father is in and out
- 53:36Speaker 8: of rehab, so my son barely knows him. My son
- 53:40Speaker 8: has a great relationship with his daddy's mother, who we
- 53:43Speaker 8: call Granny. We love Grannie and she's my biggest supporter.
- 53:47Speaker 8: My own mom doesn't like to baby said, I'm only
- 53:50Speaker 8: twenty eight, so Grannie tells me to drop my son
- 53:53Speaker 8: off with her so I can enjoy my twenties. Grannie
- 53:56Speaker 8: loves music, reality TV shows, and playing her numbers. She
- 54:00Speaker 8: lives in the worst neighborhood in the city, but nobody
- 54:03Speaker 8: messes with Granny because she once shot at her neighbor.
- 54:07Speaker 8: Grannie's house is always nasty, and when my son was
- 54:10Speaker 8: old enough to realize it, he started asking questions like
- 54:13Speaker 8: why is Grannie, why does Grannie have trash all ways
- 54:17Speaker 8: around the trash can, and why does Grannie have spots
- 54:20Speaker 8: on her floors. He was always excited to go see
- 54:24Speaker 8: her because her house was so different than his. One day,
- 54:27Speaker 8: he told me that he liked our house better because
- 54:30Speaker 8: it smells good and his Grannie's doesn't. I never paid
- 54:34Speaker 8: much attention to how I responded to him, and I
- 54:36Speaker 8: never realized I was shading Grannie. I was so hurt
- 54:40Speaker 8: to find out he was telling Grannie everything I say
- 54:43Speaker 8: about her. He told Grannie to keep his backpack zipped
- 54:46Speaker 8: up because his mom doesn't want him bringing bugs home
- 54:49Speaker 8: with him. He told Grannie that I told him to
- 54:52Speaker 8: eat the snack's ipack for him and to smell everything
- 54:56Speaker 8: else before he eats it. He told her that he
- 54:59Speaker 8: can't on the floor or use her blankets. There was
- 55:03Speaker 8: a lot of other stuff that he repeated. And I
- 55:05Speaker 8: feel so bad for putting Granny down when Granny's the
- 55:08Speaker 8: only person that helps me. Grannie is not even mad,
- 55:11Speaker 8: and that makes it worse. How do I make it
- 55:13Speaker 8: up to Grannie? And why is parenting so hard? Well,
- 55:18Speaker 8: I agree with you. You're right, parenting is hard. There's
- 55:22Speaker 8: no playbook and it's on the job training. I mean,
- 55:25Speaker 8: let's face it, it is. You sound like an excellent parent,
- 55:29Speaker 8: But it's just a nature of kids to be honest
- 55:31Speaker 8: and say what's on their minds. They always tell the truth.
- 55:34Speaker 8: They don't know what a filter is yet at seven,
- 55:37Speaker 8: he's just innocently repeating what he heard. But now that
- 55:41Speaker 8: you know that, you know he's over there running his mouth,
- 55:45Speaker 8: you could take some action. I know you meant what
- 55:47Speaker 8: you said about Grannie's nasty house, but you didn't intend
- 55:51Speaker 8: for it to be mean, and you were looking out
- 55:53Speaker 8: for your son so he wouldn't bring back bugs or anything.
- 55:57Speaker 8: I mean, Grannie must be a good person because because
- 56:00Speaker 8: she is a great support system for you, she's the
- 56:02Speaker 8: only one you said, and that's truly a blessing. So
- 56:04Speaker 8: if I were you, even though you say she didn't
- 56:07Speaker 8: get mad about it, I would still apologize to Granny
- 56:12Speaker 8: let her you know. I'm sure she knows you know
- 56:14Speaker 8: by now. I would apologize to her for what you
- 56:16Speaker 8: said and ask her if she needs help cleaning up
- 56:19Speaker 8: or something. I mean, if you can afford it, you
- 56:21Speaker 8: can hire a cleaning crew. You can go over there
- 56:23Speaker 8: yourself and help her clean it up and get her
- 56:26Speaker 8: house together. You know, I'm sure that would make her
- 56:28Speaker 8: feel good, and it's for your son and her. The
- 56:33Speaker 8: same products you use to make your house smell so good,
- 56:36Speaker 8: use it in Granny's house.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Then you would have to worry.
- 56:38Speaker 8: You won't have to worry about him being in a nasty,
- 56:41Speaker 8: messy house when he's not with you, when he's over there.
- 56:44Speaker 8: And please tell your son that what you guys talk
- 56:46Speaker 8: about in your house stays in your house. That's what
- 56:50Speaker 8: most parents do.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Okay, Steve, Well, before I get started, let me just
- 56:55Speaker 3: clarify something Shirley said. Get a cleaning crew. Ain't nobody
- 56:58Speaker 3: got no money for no dam this letter, and you
- 57:02Speaker 3: can't afford it. She already says, she working two jobs,
- 57:04Speaker 3: keep your little ragged ass boy in his private school
- 57:07Speaker 3: and his daddy in and out of rehab because he
- 57:09Speaker 3: over there smoking weed and can't stop snorting cocaine and
- 57:12Speaker 3: all this is so he in rehab and he don't
- 57:14Speaker 3: really know his daddy, but his mama taking care of
- 57:17Speaker 3: who the letter about?
- 57:20Speaker 2: No hell? Now where your hell? You see a chance
- 57:22Speaker 2: to buy some damn cleaning.
- 57:23Speaker 3: Crew at She can't get no cleaning crew over there, Shelly,
- 57:28Speaker 3: she's shrugged.
- 57:29Speaker 2: She's a single mother. Listen to the letter. I'm a
- 57:31Speaker 2: single mother seven year old boy.
- 57:33Speaker 3: I'm working two jobs keep him in private school. Ain't
- 57:36Speaker 3: nobody working two jobs getting no cleaning crew in the house.
- 57:40Speaker 3: Were trying to get this little ignorant ass boy educated.
- 57:43Speaker 3: And you need to hear him getting educated, because he's
- 57:45Speaker 3: stupid dumb ass over there telling I bet he won't
- 57:50Speaker 3: tell it no moto. I couldn't repeat nothing at nobody's
- 57:55Speaker 3: house anyway, And in his daddy his father is in
- 57:59Speaker 3: the in and out of rehab. So my son badly
- 58:02Speaker 3: knows him. Told you, but he got a great relationship
- 58:07Speaker 3: with his daddy's mother, and she's my biggest supporter.
- 58:10Speaker 4: My own mom.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Don't like the babysit. Damn Mama, I'm only twenty eight.
- 58:15Speaker 3: So granny tells me drop my son off with her
- 58:17Speaker 3: so I can enjoy my twenties. That's a good grandmother.
- 58:22Speaker 3: But she hood though now granted, little music, she and
- 58:26Speaker 3: that got bb king on. She and that playing lot
- 58:31Speaker 3: of mold Little Milton, your sevent year old boy. That's
- 58:35Speaker 3: probably with the seven year old boy reason he telling
- 58:37Speaker 3: everything because he had the childhood I had. He's probably
- 58:40Speaker 3: the most depressed seven year old up at the school.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Because when your grandmama and them be listening to blues,
- 58:46Speaker 3: it affects you, just like rap affects this culture today.
- 58:50Speaker 3: The blues affected me when I was growing up. I'm
- 58:54Speaker 3: so alone. I'm so alone. You know all that right there?
- 58:59Speaker 3: She me, yes, she did. I got another, if I
- 59:05Speaker 3: got another, if you know, I was in the blues.
- 59:10Speaker 3: So everything to me was the blues. My report call
- 59:12Speaker 3: was the blues, and the teacher called my house to
- 59:16Speaker 3: report me it was the blues. Anyway, she lives, the
- 59:19Speaker 3: grandmama live in the worst neighborhood in the city. But
- 59:22Speaker 3: nobody messing with granted, because she shot somebody. This is
- 59:25Speaker 3: the type of grandmother. You won't live in the hood
- 59:28Speaker 3: shooting people, but your boy is over there running his mouth.
- 59:33Speaker 3: When we come back, I will tell you the things
- 59:35Speaker 3: you have said about this woman that has gotten back
- 59:38Speaker 3: to her.
- 59:39Speaker 8: All right, Steve, hang on, we'll have part two of
- 59:41Speaker 8: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 59:44Speaker 8: subject of today's Strawberry letter. He repeated everything I said
- 59:47Speaker 8: about her. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:50Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show.
- 59:53Speaker 8: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 59:55Speaker 8: The subject he repeated everything I said about her.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Yeah, we got a because this lady, who is her
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: ex husband's her baby's daddy's mother, is a good grandmother.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: She takes care of the baby, she watches out for
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: him and her own mother. She's twenty eight. Don't like babysitting.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: So the lady in this letter, the grandmother, is your
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: biggest supporter. The problem is your son been over there
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: running his mouth and then told her everything you said.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: You didn't mean for it to get back, but you was.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: You call yourself protecting your son because at the end
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: of the letter you said, why is parenting so hard?
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: Now you've been over there talking about grandmama to you boy. Now,
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: you said stuff like blow on the cookies before you
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: eat them. You know, stuff like that for the stuff
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: that you really don't. You know, when it's bad time,
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: sleep in your clothes. Just sleep in your clothes. You
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: know you're saying stuff.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: You know, he ain't over.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: There sleeping in Levi eyes and Corduroy's shirts. He's sleeping
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: in his school clothes because you don't want him to
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: get them bed bugs on him or nothing like that.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: You done told the boy read all the expiration dates
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: on everything in that refrigerator. Now you got a seven
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: year old in there trying to read an expiration date
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: on some damn mayonnaise. You know, the mayonnaise is expired.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Everybody didn't had an expired job of mayonnaise in there.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: It's in now. He's got a little bit left in it,
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: little coloration on the lid. Everybody didnet had that. Don't
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: go out there by the trash. The rats a get
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: you what. Yeah, you have to say that at the hood.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Don't go out there by that trash. The rats a
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: get you. This is stuff she's saying to the boy. Okay,
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: you know, wash all the fruit twice. This little boy
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: over here is in the child labor camp. He doing
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: so much stuff here in that double washing fruit and everything.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: This little boy right here, he go over granted his house.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: He just had a sweatshop. Don't put that silverware in
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: your mouth now. How the boy supposed to eat now?
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: You done told him to take all these little plastic
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: spoons and forks in that with you. Don't eat off
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: the silverware.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: You just send him over there with a dish rag
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: in his backpack. He got to wash each each dish
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: for he eat. So you thoroughly messed his boy's head
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: up about his grandmother. But he loves his grandmoma, and
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: his grandmama loves him. Now. He done told her this.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: But the problem you got the shaka to you is
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: she ain't mad.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: See is the hood.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: It's kind of hard to piss off hood grandmama's because
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: they have seen it all. You ain't brand new. She
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: know the house smell, She know it's trash out there.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: She know the house raggedy. She polled, She run numbers
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: and she ain't hitting. She know it's hard over there.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: But she got love though, that's it, And she loving
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: on this grand boy, and your mama won't even take
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: care of it. So I'd rather have this hood grandmama
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: than to have your mama, because she ain't even trying
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: to help you out. She don't like babysitting. That's why
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: you're over there talking about stuff. Quit saying stuff about
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: the lady's house. Yeah, your house smelled good. But but
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: but you can't get no help but from the hood grandmama.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: You know, while Grandmama got spots on the floor cause
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: the carpet need cleaning, that's why spots on the floe.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: And he's always excited to go see her because her
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: house was so different than ours. You know, boys like
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: crazy stuff like that. The man, I don't go over here.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: You can climb on grandmama couch. She don't even care.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Then one day he told you that he like your
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: house better because it smelled good and his granny don't.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Yeah, grandmama house.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: Always have little Twain to it, you know, always had
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: little a little different. You know, you know your grandmama
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: house smelled a little different. You know, I do remember though,
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: was I look back on it wasn't a mouth in there.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: No, damn boy, I'll kill you out.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: You go grant his house and find anything. But wasn't
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: no damn moff in there. I don't seen ants and stuff,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: but we didn't have nothing at our grandmama. I go
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: over my grandmama house man and she puts cinnamon down
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: by the door. Cinnamon stop ants. If you got an
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: ant problem, you could just sprinkle down cinnamon. They get
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I'm telling you right now, next time you outside had
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: a cookout, it's go in the house. Get you a
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: little cinnamon sprinkling on the floor with the ants at
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: and watch your man's get their ass away from that.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Whoa wow, Yeah, that's the old cinnamon. Sprinkle cinnamon and
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: watch them ants get their ass out of that. If
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: you see some ants on the trail, go put some
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: cinnamon on. Watchings here they gonna get a new trail.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: And if you don't want flies, and here's another thing
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: to keep flies away too. When you're out, take a
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: bowl or shallow bowl, put apple side of vinegar in
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: it and then sprinkle crush pepper flakes on.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Top of it. It'll keep flies away.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: If you're outside of the picnic, a bowl of apple side
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: of vinegar and sprinkle crushed peppers on top of it,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: keep flies with If you don't want flies in your house,
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: take a zip lock bag, put it, fill it up
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: with water, put a cold hanger through it, and put
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: a penny in it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Hang that in the doorway. Flies won't come in your house.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: Wow, because when they see that bag of water, it
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: make their eyes go crazy and then it reminds them
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: also of a nest.

- 1:07:09Speaker 3: you got some damn breaking It wasn't no Latin, no
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: Latin dudes, No damn well.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: What I'm sit If you're going, how you got breakdancing?
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Ain't no black dudes? It ain't no Latina?
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Please?
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: How from the Bronx? Breakdance from the Bronx? Why where
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: y'all get these white people from? Why was this lady
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: from Australia?
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Again with the lady from when she did the buddy?
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: What you man? That she taught breakdancing?
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: Right, she's a professor for breakdancing in Australia. Who break
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: dance in Australia?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Professor?
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: Man, they tried to fix her story up. I said, man,
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: I don't give her down. I don't be trying to
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: hear none of that. I'm so mad at that breakdancing
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: wasn't it black? Where are black people at? And the
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Latin man wasn't no Latin dudes in there? I'm going,
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: what do you hate on?
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Did you hear the commentators? And it sounds craat when
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: the comment the woman up here?
- 1:08:04Speaker 15: They go watch the transition, Oh, I said, not what
- 1:08:10Speaker 15: they don't get on beat and get this wind man.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Up, get the window dougies, dude spilling on their head repeatedly,
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: I'm going, why these people like?
- 1:08:26Speaker 15: Also they explain this to me telling the men's fall
- 1:08:30Speaker 15: by one? What the what happened with the men's fall
- 1:08:33Speaker 15: by one?
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Relay? What did we do wrong?
- 1:08:35Speaker 11: Well?
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Practice passing that stick man for the last twenty years,
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: we ain't got it right with pathetic.
- 1:08:42Speaker 15: But the lady, oh the women, no women, did you
- 1:08:46Speaker 15: see Chicari look at her.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: And say, we got don't worry about this, we're taking
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: this right.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Said bye.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: But but you know, even before the meet, even before that,
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: the ladies get in line and practice passing that stick.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: They make their calls, they put their head back, they
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: switch hands. Yeah you watching it. I never see the
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: dudes doing that. They walk out there with this level
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: of arrogance and they get their ass toasted every time.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: Well, thank you parents for a beautiful olypics. We had
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: a great time. It was beautiful.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: But don't bring right dancing back the show, all right,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: thank you, Junior.
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: What would you do if your wife's auntie slid into
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: your DM?
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: We'll find out right after this. You're listening Morning show.
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: See this is from James on Steve barbaet them. He says,
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: my wife's aunt slid into my DM and asked if
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: I could come help her put her.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Rug down in her living room.
- 1:09:43Speaker 8: In the living room, she's a sixty two year old
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: widow and she's trying to fix her house up so
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: one of her sisters can move in with her. I
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: don't know why she didn't just call my wife and
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: ask her. Now, I'm in the middle of a big
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: old mess with my wife, mother in law, and the aunt.
- 1:09:57Speaker 8: I never accused the aunt of anything. I just thought
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: it was strange for her to contact me that way.
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: How do I get myself out of this big mess?
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Dog? Why did you? Why did you put yourself in
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: the mess? He said.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: I didn't accuse her of anything anything, But what he
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: did was he went to his wife.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: I said, baby, I just gotta.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: D M today, your aunt DM me, which when you
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: say dm it just means low down. It just sounds
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: low low. It just sounds your your aunt DM me
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: and want me to come over her house and put
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: her rug down. What now she'd have told her mama,
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: her mama called her sister, and now they all mad
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: at her. But now now you in the middle of
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: a mess, because dog, you did it the wrong way.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: You did it the wrong way. So how you should
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: have handled.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: It was got on the phone, called her and said, hey,
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: do you need something from me, and just left it
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: at that, because once you do that, and once you
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: bring the women into a.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Dog, it's out of your hands. Now it's gone.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: It's a snowball going down the hill that you can't stop. Now, pardon,
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: if you don't get your ass out the way, you're
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: gonna be in the avalanche.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Yeah it's too late, man.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: Yeah it's too late. It's already going down. And you
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: pushed the snowball down the hill. But he thought he
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: was doing right by going straight to his wife.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: With it, and I know he did, and I think
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: I think to hold down any confusion, telling your wife,
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: what's a smart thing? So you clear yourself, but then
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: not just created a whole man kind of hard to
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: spot you in dog.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: Ain't no getting out of it. You in it now?
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Long was your over there laying on that rug? You
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: should get drinking wine?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Where did that come from?
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: That box?
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Wine and white zi from there?
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: It's just on there chilling drinking some wine. All right,
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: We have time for another one, Steve. This one's from
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: Fay and Miami. Fay says, my man and I have
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: an airbnb. I bought some new pots and pans and
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: took them by the house, and there was a blanket
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: on the couch, juice in the fridge, and leftovers from
- 1:12:46Speaker 8: a restaurant, and a styrofoam container in the fridge. I
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: called my husband and he said he stopped by there
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: during the rain storm the other day to wait out
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: the storm. He didn't mention it to me at all.
- 1:12:58Speaker 8: I don't see evidence of any one being there besides him.
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: Did he forget to tell me? Or was he up
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: to no good?
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: He wasn't up to no good. He stopped over there
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: and then the rainstorm. There was no evidence of another person.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: You said that, she said it, yep, got him a
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: little take our food, sit down and watch him a
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: little TV. What he was really doing was just getting
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: a break from you. He just pulled up at the
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: crib and just took a minute to his self. He
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: just wanted a break from you, and he didn't want
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: to tell you that he needed a break, so he
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: just went over there and had hisself a break. There
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: was no evidence of another person. Man, could you just
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: leave this alone? Y'all got an airbnb. Your man went
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: over there and just had a chill moment to hisself.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Who's going to clean up the mess?
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: So?
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Wife, look at the video from the Whats we doing
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: all now? I like it?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Carla, I like it. I like it.
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: It was Olympics for that win, the goal the gold.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: Well, Tomorrow, August thirteenth is National left Handers Day.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Guys.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: We have more than a few lefties on this show.
- 1:14:27Speaker 8: The National Left Handers Club was formed in nineteen ninety
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: and there's a monthly newsletter with reports on the latest research, products,
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: and successes by.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Famous left handers.
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: So Steve, you're left handed, Tommy, you're left handed, Junior.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: You're left handed.

- 1:14:56Speaker 2: You know you don't think like either.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Yeah, because I'm in right mind. Yes, you're right.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: See that's why I know you ain't really left handed.

- 1:15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, because in our right mind. And we survived very well.
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: But study shows stuttering and dyslexia occur often more often
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: in left handers, but left handers are generally more intelligent,
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: better looking, and more talented than right handers. Additionally, research
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: shows that left handers are known to excelling tennis, baseball, swimming,
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: and Steve your favorite fencing do y'all?
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:15:39Speaker 15: But can we get out of August? Can we get
- 1:15:41Speaker 15: out of August? Because it's also national had lost month
- 1:15:44Speaker 15: and left handed month. I can't take it no more
- 1:15:46Speaker 15: because see there's too many things happening for me in
- 1:15:48Speaker 15: this month, the move, September, it's just.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: Moment happy August.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Maybe coming up with thirty three minutes after we'll play
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: around it. Would you rather.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: Say why aren't you.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: You're listening morning show. It's time now, guys, to play
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: around it. Would you rather?
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: Would you rather win five million dollars and share it
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: with your co workers or act like you never won
- 1:16:18Speaker 8: anything anything every day?
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Look in your eye, ain't nothing.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: I've got some money before it. Ain't said a word to.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: You, all right?
- 1:16:38Speaker 8: Would you rather drive a school bus full of first
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: graders or be a first grade teacher?
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Which one on that buck?
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Give me that buck. I'm gonna drive the bust.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: That's the Harvey.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Now keep on.
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: I'm gonna make a hard left. So yeahs into that
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: wall again.
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: Keep on, because if I'm your teacher, you're gonna be
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: in the third grade again.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: I ain't gonna help you none of it. I ain't
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: got no patience for teaching kids.
- 1:17:16Speaker 7: Oh God, bless our educators.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: Yes, I much love to them teachers. Man.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I give him more money paying.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: And told you to into his phone?
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: What too?
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: All right? Would you rather have dinner with jd. Vance?
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: We all know who he is? Or would you rather
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: have dinner with your ex?
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: I'll be sitting up there with that candidate.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: He does where? Yeah?
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Or you're asking about this island. I'm even with my eggs.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: But why are you wearing eyeliner? Dog?
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: What the hell?
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Say it? Not say it to my face.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: Like I had the most threatening asked dinner he's ever
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: been be able to enjoy his food with my head
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: tilted the whole time.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: What'd you say, dog?
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Beside face the whole face?
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Would you rather give up all dairy forever? Or would
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you rather give up all sugar forever?
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:18:34Speaker 8: Man, no ice creams.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: I'll give it all dairy.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: As much as I love ice cream.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Junior, Yeah, all dairy. We gotta give up all dairy.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: All dery, not sugar.
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: Tommy, are we bothering you?
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Answer the question?
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Yeah? It ain't gonna really have them, dog, just say something.
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: Yeah, all right, I'm just thinking I ain't no more
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: butter or nothing.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Idea? Yeah, I need to give them both.
- 1:19:10Speaker 8: Would you rather eat barbecue with two pieces of white bread?
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: Or would you rather eat barbecue with two dinner rolls?
- 1:19:17Speaker 9: Bread?
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:19:22Speaker 8: Come next, It is our last break of the day,
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: and Steve Harvey will close out the show right after this.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show?
- 1:19:31Speaker 8: All right, guys, Here we are last break of the day,
- 1:19:35Speaker 8: last break, and Steve, I gotta stand the week.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: What you got for us? Yeah?
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: Hey, you know, I was thinking of something the other
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: day and I wanted to pass on a bit of
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: encouragement to everybody. Let me share something with you. If
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: you are a person who makes mistakes, I want you
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: to understand something. Everybody makes mistakes. If you are a
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: person who is prone to fall, and you seem like
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: you keep getting it wrong over and over, I want
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: to share something with you. Everybody gets it wrong everybody.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: If you are a person that's finding it difficult to
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: focus on the task at hand, I want to tell
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: you something. Everybody faces same that same discipline, that same thing.
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: Everybody faces that the feeling of not being able to focus.
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: I want you all to understand something. Failure is a
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: part of the process. Everybody who is successful has failed.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: Please please listen to me.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Stop beating yourself up because you have failed. Everybody fails.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: Failure happens to be one of the best teachers ever.
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you something. Most of the valuable
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: lessons I've learned in my life came off the heels
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: of a failure. I don't listen to me and in
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: the process of failing. You must understand that where you
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: are currently is not where you are going to remain.
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: Now is a very very fleeting time. I give you
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: an example. Watch this, Okay, n W Now, now guess what.
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: As soon as I finished spelling it, that moment now
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: has passed. It has passed. It's over. You gotta keep
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: living your new noiles, stop beating yourself up over your past.
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: Your past is the process. Don't allow people to hold
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: you to your past. I get so sick sometimes, Can
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: I be honest with you? You know, I be scrolling on
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: Internet sometime, and all of a sudden, here comes a
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: negative story about Steve Harvey about something in my past.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: And you know what, I ain't stuttying that. I don't
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: care I be. I go right on past it because
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: guess what you're not gonna do. You're not gonna hold
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: me to something I did when I was twenty four
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: years old. He left his ex wife. Okay, okay, how
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: many times you gonna say that? How many how many
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: times you gonna make that my fault? How many times
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: you gonna make that my issue? Cause it's not it's not.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: And I don't allow people to do that to me.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: Don't let people hold you to your past when your
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: past clearly belongs to history. It has nothing to do
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: with you anymore. It's a new you. You have the
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: right to be new. It's like forgiving people. It's like
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: everybody won't know. How could you do that? He hit
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: that girl. I got God and forgave him what. You
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: still beating him up for it too. I never liked him.
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: He did this and he did that.
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: That.
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: You God, to let this man move on. God to
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: let this woman move on. That woman who wasn't a
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: great mother back then, maybe God has forgiven her and
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: God has allowed her to correct her mistakes. Everybody has
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: to be allowed to correct their mistakes because you gonna
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: keep making them. And you can't sit up here and
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: judge people all the time. And stop letting people judge you.
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: I don't allow it no more. When you call me
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: with some man, I that past man, get out my face.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: I'm a new creature. God has changed me so many times.
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: What I did when I was twenty, I don't do
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: no more. What I did when I was thirty, I
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: don't do no more. I'm sixty seven years old. Stuff
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: I was doing in my forties, I don't do no more.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: I grew, I became a better person. You have the
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: right to become a better person, and nobody has a
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: right to make you think you not because you made
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: a mistake in your past.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Man, Please, like they sitting over here, just Scott Free.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: You know what kills me about people that's always reminding
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: you of their past neck like they ain't got one.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: They just sitting up passing judgment on you, and then
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: you allowing them to affect your future and your present
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: because they keep bringing up your past.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: You can't bring up my past on me no more.
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: I've been through it. That so what.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: I made a lot of mistakes when I was a
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: young man. I made a lit the mistakes in my
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: middle age. I'd have made a few as an older
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: man too. But guess what, I ask God for forgiveness.
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: I've apologized anybody I've ever heard, and I've gone on
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: about my business. Matter fact that you want to keep
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: making it a story that's on you, But you're wasting
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: your time. Stop allowing people to do that to you.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Keep being a new creature, Keep allowing God to forgive you,
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: you forgive yourself and going about your business You don't
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: have to keep paying for a past mistake just cause
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: somebody wants you to. Ain't that crazy how many times
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: you got to keep paying for a past mistake because
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: somebody else wants you to, when God already bend and
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: forgave you. Man, miss me, Happy Monday. Have a great
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: day today, y'all, and have that great day knowing that
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: God has forgiven you and given you a new chance
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: to get up and get it right. So get up
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: and get it right, y'all. Have a great day. Steve
