- 0:01Speaker 1: Hostages found murdered in Rafa. That is the headline that
- 0:05Speaker 1: unfortunately the media doesn't want to talk about today because
- 0:08Speaker 1: that is exactly where Kamala Harris told Israel not to go.
- 0:15Speaker 1: The six hostages whose bodies were found Saturday in a
- 0:19Speaker 1: tunnel underneath Gaza, including the American Israeli Hirsch Goldberg Poland,
- 0:26Speaker 1: were discovered in Rafa, the city that the Vice President
- 0:29Speaker 1: Kamala Harris clearly stated multiple times is an area where
- 0:35Speaker 1: Israel should not enter. Those were her words. In February,
- 0:40Speaker 1: the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel was prepared
- 0:44Speaker 1: to enter Rafa, a key town on the Gaza Egypt
- 0:48Speaker 1: border where Hama's leaders were thought to be hiding and
- 0:51Speaker 1: holding some of the Israeli hostages from the horrific attacks
- 0:55Speaker 1: that took place now almost a year ago. Kamala Harris,
- 0:59Speaker 1: echoing the Biden administration's warnings, told Israel not to enter Rafa,
- 1:06Speaker 1: saying that there could be many Palestinian civilians killed and
- 1:10Speaker 1: warning of possible quote unquote consequences that the US would
- 1:16Speaker 1: withhold weapons could be part of those consequences, Harris saying
- 1:21Speaker 1: at the time, I have studied the maps.
- 1:26Speaker 2: That was part of her warning.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Now I'm going to tell you more about what they
- 1:29Speaker 1: don't want you to know about how all this unfolded.
- 1:32Speaker 1: But first I also want to tell you, and it's
- 1:35Speaker 1: so important as we are hearing about this story, that
- 1:38Speaker 1: we stand with the people in Israel, and the International
- 1:41Speaker 1: Fellowship of Christians and Jews is doing exactly that. We
- 1:45Speaker 1: are quickly approaching the one year anniversary of the horrific
- 1:48Speaker 1: Commas attacks on Israel, and still the Holy Land continues
- 1:52Speaker 1: to be attacked on multiple fronts. Daily deadly threats are
- 1:56Speaker 1: increasing in northern Israel and constant rocket attacks from terrorist
- 2:01Speaker 1: organizations hes blobbed backed by Iran have been fired at Israel,
- 2:05Speaker 1: causing widespread damage as well as raging wildfires this summer
- 2:10Speaker 1: that destroyed precious farm land. Since the war started, the
- 2:14Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has been on the
- 2:16Speaker 1: forefront of Israel addressing the needs of the most vulnerable.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And that's why I'm partnering with IFCJ and I want
- 2:25Speaker 1: you to get involved in Stand with the people of Israel. Literally,
- 2:29Speaker 1: your life saving donation is going to provide emergency food
- 2:32Speaker 1: as well as critical security needs such as flag jackets,
- 2:36Speaker 1: firefighting equipment, and armored vehicles, including armored ambulances. They also
- 2:43Speaker 1: are putting in bomb shelters and much more. Now, what
- 2:47Speaker 1: we're asking for is five hundred of you that listen
- 2:50Speaker 1: to this show, which is a very small percentage of
- 2:52Speaker 1: the audience, to join the Fellowship and me by donating
- 2:57Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty dollars to help the people in
- 3:00Speaker 1: need in Israel. Now, thanks to a generous IFCJ supporter,
- 3:04Speaker 1: your gift will be matched. That means doubling the impact
- 3:08Speaker 1: for the people in Israel in the Holy Land.
- 3:11Speaker 2: You can make your gift.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Right now by going online to support IFCJ dot org.
- 3:19Speaker 1: That's one word support IFCJ dot org. Or you can
- 3:23Speaker 1: call them one eight eight four eight eight I f CJ.
- 3:29Speaker 1: That's eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ or four
- 3:33Speaker 1: three two five or online it's support IFCJ dot org
- 3:38Speaker 1: to give. That's one word support IFCJ dot org. Now
- 3:43Speaker 1: let's get back to this part of the story, and
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's the part that matters. Kamlairas says, quote, I've studied
- 3:50Speaker 1: the maps and if you go into this area called
- 3:54Speaker 1: this area called Rafa, we may withhold what you need,
- 3:57Speaker 1: including ammunition to protect to defend yourself.
- 4:01Speaker 2: That was the warning from Kamala Harris to Israel.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Israel had to do what was necessary right, and Israel
- 4:08Speaker 1: decided that it was necessary to enter Rafa. They entered,
- 4:11Speaker 1: by the way, with minimal civilian casualties. Israel has killed
- 4:16Speaker 1: hundreds of terrace in Rafa, though the leaders are thought
- 4:19Speaker 1: to have moved elsewhere within the Gaza strip. They have
- 4:23Speaker 1: also rescued one hostage and recovered the bodies now of
- 4:27Speaker 1: several others, including the American Israeli Goldberg Poland and five others.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Over the weekend, Israel also established control of a major
- 4:39Speaker 1: corridor there. It's a key strategic road along the border
- 4:43Speaker 1: with Egypt where Israeli forces have found and destroyed tunnels
- 4:47Speaker 1: that a mass had used to smuggle weapons and other
- 4:49Speaker 1: materials into Gaza that were clearly against the law. The
- 4:54Speaker 1: IDF spokesman said Sunday that the six hostages had been
- 4:59Speaker 1: murdered cruelly by Hamas as Israeli soldiers closed in on
- 5:04Speaker 1: their location, possibly based on intelligence provided by a hostage
- 5:09Speaker 1: rescued last week. This is the part that is so
- 5:13Speaker 1: sad about how barbaric Hamas is so what is hamas
- 5:18Speaker 1: to this administration? To Kamala Harris, they're an organization they
- 5:22Speaker 1: claim that you should listen to, that you should talk to,
- 5:26Speaker 1: that you should work with. They do not look at
- 5:29Speaker 1: them like they are a hardcore terrorist organization that is
- 5:33Speaker 1: willing to shoot hostages and torture them. For the last
- 5:37Speaker 1: year in the head because that's exactly what the reporting
- 5:41Speaker 1: is now and again Biden and Harris boat taking heat
- 5:47Speaker 1: because Biden on another beach vacation. He's been on vacation
- 5:51Speaker 1: since he was sent out to pasture. At the Democratic
- 5:55Speaker 1: National Convention, he had a statement that said, quote, I
- 5:59Speaker 1: worked tirelessly to bring hersh that would be the American home.
- 6:06Speaker 1: That unfortunately is a lie. Now President Biden issuing this
- 6:11Speaker 1: statement Saturday evening that he had worked tirelessly to secure
- 6:13Speaker 1: the release of Hirsh and other murdered hostages and claimed
- 6:17Speaker 1: he would keep working around the clock for a deal.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I don't know what his definition of working around the
- 6:23Speaker 1: clock is, but doing it from the beach in Delaware
- 6:25Speaker 1: week on in doesn't exactly look like someone to me
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's working around the clock. And that is not how
- 6:31Speaker 1: I would want our president to act. If one of
- 6:33Speaker 1: my family members was being held hostage for the last
- 6:36Speaker 1: year by a terrorist organization. Now Biden has been on
- 6:40Speaker 1: vacation now for not one week, but two weeks. First
- 6:43Speaker 1: he was in Santa Barbara, California, and second he was
- 6:46Speaker 1: back in Delaware at his favorite beach there. It is
- 6:49Speaker 1: not clear how he would have been working tirelessly quote
- 6:52Speaker 1: unquote or around the clock quote unquote while on a
- 6:56Speaker 1: two week vacation. His official statement, however, that was written
- 7:01Speaker 1: by his staff, read this way quote earlier today in
- 7:05Speaker 1: a tunnel under the city of Ratha, same place again
- 7:08Speaker 1: that Biden and Harris both said, Israel, don't go. Israeli
- 7:13Speaker 1: forces recovered six bodies of hostages held by Hamas. We
- 7:17Speaker 1: have now confirmed that one of the hostages killed by
- 7:19Speaker 1: these vicious Hamas Harris was an American citizen, Heirsch Goldberg, Poland.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I am devastated and outraged. Heirsch was among the innocent
- 7:29Speaker 1: that were brutally attacked while attending a music festival for
- 7:32Speaker 1: peace in Israel in October the seventh. He lost his
- 7:35Speaker 1: arm helping friends and strangers during the Hamas Savage massacre.
- 7:39Speaker 1: He had just turned twenty three. He had planned to
- 7:42Speaker 1: travel the world. I have gotten to Noah's parents, John
- 7:45Speaker 1: and Rachel. They have been courageous, wise, and said fast,
- 7:50Speaker 1: even as they have endured the unimaginable. They have been
- 7:53Speaker 1: relentless and irrepressible champions of their son and all of
- 7:59Speaker 1: the hostages held in these unconscionable conditions. I admire them
- 8:04Speaker 1: and grieve with them more deeply than words can express.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I know all Americans tonight will have them in their prayers,
- 8:10Speaker 1: just as Jill and I will. Then, he said, quote
- 8:13Speaker 1: I have worked tirelessly to bring their beloved her safely
- 8:18Speaker 1: to them, and am heartbreaking by the news of his death.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It is as tragic as it is reprehensible. Make no mistake,
- 8:26Speaker 1: Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes, and we'll keep
- 8:29Speaker 1: working around the clock for a deal to secure the
- 8:31Speaker 1: release of the remaining hostages, even though it's very clear
- 8:35Speaker 1: that the Hamas terrorists have no intention of giving up hostages.
- 8:40Speaker 1: They would rather shoot them in the head. Biden, by
- 8:44Speaker 1: the way, the same guy that tells you he has
- 8:45Speaker 1: been working tirelessly to bring home these hostages from the terrorists,
- 8:50Speaker 1: has been keeping a quote low profile since dropping out
- 8:53Speaker 1: of the presidential race in late July, spending most of
- 8:56Speaker 1: his time on the beach.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It's not a joke.
- 8:59Speaker 1: So you know more about Goldberg Poland he was an
- 9:02Speaker 1: actual dual US Israeli citizen. And this is the part
- 9:06Speaker 1: you need to understand about these terrorists, the same terrorists
- 9:11Speaker 1: that well, the Democratic Party is defending, the same terrorists
- 9:18Speaker 1: that have been defended on college campuses, the same terrorists
- 9:22Speaker 1: that are being defended by the radical mega donors like
- 9:26Speaker 1: the George sorosys and paying for these protesters to stop
- 9:31Speaker 1: traffic in America. This is the Democratic Party, Okay, They're
- 9:35Speaker 1: the ones defending these terrorists. So let me explain to
- 9:39Speaker 1: you what happened over the last forty eight hours. These
- 9:43Speaker 1: six Israeli hostages whose bodies were found in this area Rafa,
- 9:49Speaker 1: where again the Biden administration told Israel not to go,
- 9:53Speaker 1: were found in a Hamas tunnel underneath Gaza Saturday, and
- 9:57Speaker 1: they had been shot in the head, they said quota quote.
- 10:00Speaker 2: In the last forty eight hours.
- 10:02Speaker 1: According to the autopsy reports released on Sunday, the Israeli
- 10:06Speaker 1: military identified the hostages and named all of them. They
- 10:11Speaker 1: said that Hamas murdered the hostages in the belief that
- 10:14Speaker 1: Israeli Defense Force soldiers were closing in. According to IDFs spokesmen,
- 10:20Speaker 1: the soldiers did not know the hostage's exact location, but
- 10:23Speaker 1: it rescued one hostage nearby last week and were fighting
- 10:27Speaker 1: above ground at the location. According to our initial assessment,
- 10:32Speaker 1: they were brutally murdered by Hamas terras shortly before we
- 10:35Speaker 1: reached them. All six hostages whose bodies were discovered and
- 10:39Speaker 1: recovered from Gaza on Sunday were found with gunshot wounds
- 10:43Speaker 1: to their heads and other areas. Their autopsies showed, according
- 10:49Speaker 1: to the posts mortem, they were executed no more than
- 10:53Speaker 1: forty eight hours before being found, and signs of neglect
- 10:58Speaker 1: and in captivity were found on all of their bodies.
- 11:02Speaker 1: One of the hostages who showed no signs of being bound.
- 11:05Speaker 1: No evidence of torture was found. However, the condition of
- 11:10Speaker 1: their bodies indicated systemic neglect, including a lack of hygiene,
- 11:16Speaker 1: over a long period of time they were tortured. Additionally,
- 11:22Speaker 1: indications were present of previous injuries sustained during their abduction,
- 11:27Speaker 1: which had been treated over time. Israel's army noted that
- 11:32Speaker 1: this is not the first time during the war that
- 11:34Speaker 1: Palestinian terras had murdered Israeli hostages to prevent their rescue. Notably,
- 11:41Speaker 1: in the infamous nineteen seventy two Munich Olympic massacre, terris
- 11:46Speaker 1: murdered Israeli athletes they had taken hostage as West German
- 11:50Speaker 1: police attempted a rescue. Separately, on Sunday, three Israeli police
- 11:56Speaker 1: officers were murdered near a checkpoint in the West Bank
- 11:59Speaker 1: region by a drive by shooting by Palestinian terrorists as well.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Let me take a quick moment to tell you about
- 12:08Speaker 1: an incredible company that stands up and fights for our
- 12:11Speaker 1: First and our Second Amendment rights. They fight for the
- 12:14Speaker 1: rights of unborn children, and they fight every time you
- 12:19Speaker 1: pay your bill to them, for our veterans, our first responders,
- 12:23Speaker 1: and our wounded warriors. I'm talking about Patriot Mobile. They're
- 12:28Speaker 1: the only conservative Christian wireless provider in the country, and
- 12:34Speaker 1: when you pay your bill to them every month, they
- 12:36Speaker 1: actually take about five percent of your bill and give
- 12:39Speaker 1: it back to the causes that I just mentioned at
- 12:42Speaker 1: no extra cost to you. Now, the reason why that's
- 12:45Speaker 1: incredible is because if you're with Big Mobile, you're actually
- 12:49Speaker 1: supporting and funding the left in a very big Way.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Big Mobile gives big donations to organizations that pay and
- 12:58Speaker 1: advocate for abortion on they give big donations to democratic
- 13:03Speaker 1: candidates and causes at the local, state, and national level.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Another reason why you should make the switch to a
- 13:12Speaker 1: company that stands with your values. Now, making the switch
- 13:15Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is easy. You can keep your same cell
- 13:19Speaker 1: phone you have right now, keep your same cell phone number,
- 13:22Speaker 1: or you can upgrade to a new phone. And you
- 13:24Speaker 1: don't have to worry about coverage because in twenty twenty four,
- 13:28Speaker 1: it is actually really easy to make the switch, and
- 13:31Speaker 1: you're gonna have the same exact coverage that you are
- 13:34Speaker 1: used to because they use the same exact towers that
- 13:37Speaker 1: you're using right now. So call right now, nine to
- 13:41Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot. That's nine to seven to two
- 13:46Speaker 1: Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. Now when you
- 13:51Speaker 1: use the promo code ferguson, you're gonna get a free
- 13:54Speaker 1: month of service.
- 13:56Speaker 2: So don't wait any longer.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Stop giving your money to comings at literally hate your
- 14:00Speaker 1: family values and hate your Christian values. Make the switch,
- 14:05Speaker 1: get nationwide coverage, and make a difference with every phone
- 14:09Speaker 1: call you make. Nine seven to two Patriot that's nine
- 14:12Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot or patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson
- 14:17Speaker 1: promo code ferguson You'll get one month of service for free.
- 14:22Speaker 1: So again, these are the people that this administration is
- 14:28Speaker 1: telling Israel to pull back from going after telling them
- 14:32Speaker 1: to not go into the exact area where they were
- 14:35Speaker 1: holding the hostages, and where they were they were clearly
- 14:39Speaker 1: going to kill the hostages. Thank goodness, they were able
- 14:43Speaker 1: to save one. Obviously. The sad part is they were
- 14:46Speaker 1: not able to save more than one of these hostages.
- 14:51Speaker 1: And this is the barbaric terrace. Now, this should not
- 14:54Speaker 1: surprise anyone. I also want to be clear about that.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I'm going to say that again, this should not surprise anyone.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Look at the barbaric attack on that day. Look at
- 15:08Speaker 1: the attack and how they killed innocent men, women and
- 15:11Speaker 1: children on the day they massacred the Jews. Why would
- 15:16Speaker 1: anyone think that you could then all of a sudden,
- 15:19Speaker 1: out of nowhere, start negotiating with these people that they
- 15:25Speaker 1: would be willing to have normal conversations with you. You
- 15:31Speaker 1: cannot assume that people that can plan and do an
- 15:35Speaker 1: attack the way that they did their attack in Israel
- 15:38Speaker 1: on the people there would somehow then be like, Okay,
- 15:41Speaker 1: now we're reasonable, we're saying and we are normal.
- 15:45Speaker 2: That is not how this is going to work.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Now.
- 15:47Speaker 1: The timing, by the way of all of this is
- 15:51Speaker 1: also one important aspect because you look at what just
- 15:55Speaker 1: happened with the Democratic Party when it comes to another
- 15:59Speaker 1: military fiasco. There was the Arlington Cemetery hoax, where Democrats
- 16:06Speaker 1: try to attack Donald Trump, Donald Trump fighting back with
- 16:10Speaker 1: the facts and now winning big time. This obviously is
- 16:14Speaker 1: another important story. Trump released a statement this weekend from
- 16:19Speaker 1: gold Star families as Harris disgracefully twisted Trump cemetery visit
- 16:25Speaker 1: into a political attack on Donald Trump. Former President Trump
- 16:30Speaker 1: released a statement from the gold Star families of the
- 16:33Speaker 1: thirteen fallen United States service members who were killed during
- 16:37Speaker 1: the Biden administration's withdrawal from Afghanistan. In a post on x,
- 16:43Speaker 1: Trump shared a joint statement from the family members a
- 16:47Speaker 1: long list of family members of the fallen. The families
- 16:52Speaker 1: wrote in their joint statement. The Vice President Kamala Harris's
- 16:55Speaker 1: statement labeling Trump's visit to Arlington National Cemetery to take
- 17:00Speaker 1: part in a rethlaying ceremony to honor the family's lost
- 17:03Speaker 1: loved ones and fallen service members quote a political stunt
- 17:08Speaker 1: was false, hypocritical, and disrespectful. In the statement, the families
- 17:15Speaker 1: added that Harris had disgracefully twisted this sacred moment into
- 17:22Speaker 1: a political ploy for her Today. Gold Star families who
- 17:27Speaker 1: lost their loved ones in the Harris Biden administrations bought
- 17:30Speaker 1: withdrawal from Afghanistan released the following joint statement and heartfelt
- 17:35Speaker 1: video message in a direct response to Kamala Harris's false, hypocritical,
- 17:41Speaker 1: and disrespectful statement attacking President Trump, and then the statement
- 17:46Speaker 1: from the family began, we the families of the brave
- 17:49Speaker 1: service members who were tragically killed and the Abbygate bombing
- 17:54Speaker 1: are appalled by Vice President Harris's recent attempt to politicize
- 17:58Speaker 1: President Trump's visit to Arlington National Cemetery. The statement continued,
- 18:02Speaker 1: President Trump was invited by US the gold Star Families
- 18:06Speaker 1: to attend the solemn ceremony commemorating the three year anniversary
- 18:11Speaker 1: of our children's deaths. He was there to honor their sacrifice.
- 18:16Speaker 1: The Advice President Harris was disgracefully has disgracefully twisted this
- 18:20Speaker 1: sacred moment into a political ploy. Trump responded the statement
- 18:25Speaker 1: from the families by thanking them for coming together as
- 18:28Speaker 1: one and for thanking him for attending the ceremony. At
- 18:32Speaker 1: the ceremony and blasted Harris and President Joe Biden for
- 18:35Speaker 1: their incompetence and for being why the fallen service members
- 18:39Speaker 1: were no longer with us. Thank goodness that these family
- 18:44Speaker 1: members were willing to stand up and tell the truth
- 18:46Speaker 1: about the evil that is the Harris administration and her
- 18:50Speaker 1: political campaign. I don't know what world she lives in,
- 18:54Speaker 1: but when you start trying to use a anniversary of
- 18:57Speaker 1: fallen soldiers to take political shots, Donald Trump, who attended
- 19:02Speaker 1: that ceremony, you're a sick person.
- 19:06Speaker 2: You may have heard.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Also in another major story that is extremely important, that
- 19:11Speaker 1: Brazil has now banned X from the entire country. And
- 19:17Speaker 1: not only have they decided to shut it down. The
- 19:22Speaker 1: Brazilian government blocking X formerly known as Twitter, they are
- 19:27Speaker 1: now threatening to find its citizens eight thousand, nine hundred
- 19:32Speaker 1: dollars per day if you use the app for even
- 19:37Speaker 1: a single tweet or like or repost. Yes, the world
- 19:43Speaker 1: took a giantly forward into totalitarianism yesterday, as the Brazilian
- 19:48Speaker 1: government said, free speech, what's that we're banning X? In Brazil,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and we're doing it because we don't like people being
- 19:57Speaker 1: able to say what they actually believe.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Senator Ted Cruz.
- 20:01Speaker 1: And I talked extensively about this on our podcast, and
- 20:05Speaker 1: I want you to hear part of what he had
- 20:07Speaker 1: to say about this shocking attack on free speech coming
- 20:10Speaker 1: out of Brazil and what it could mean for other countries,
- 20:14Speaker 1: including the US. Senator I want to start, obviously with
- 20:19Speaker 1: what Brazil is doing. But one of the things I
- 20:21Speaker 1: love about this show is we can take time to
- 20:24Speaker 1: explain things that either people may not remember from school
- 20:28Speaker 1: or maybe they weren't even taught. And we have so
- 20:30Speaker 1: many people, they're younger that listen to this show. You
- 20:33Speaker 1: used a word describing what was happening in Brazil as
- 20:36Speaker 1: to talitarianism unfolding.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Let's explain that first and foremost to a listeners. What
- 20:43Speaker 2: does that mean?
- 20:43Speaker 1: Because there's a lot of words that we're that are
- 20:45Speaker 1: thrown out there, with socialism and communism and Marxism. So
- 20:49Speaker 1: when you say to talitarianism, what are we describing so
- 20:52Speaker 1: people understand setting the stage for this big issue.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Well, to talitarianism very simply is the government having control
- 20:59Speaker 4: of you, having total control over your life. Having the
- 21:02Speaker 4: power of censorship, the power of arbitrary imprisonment, the power
- 21:06Speaker 4: to lock you up, to confiscate your property, to do
- 21:10Speaker 4: whatever they wish with you. And sadly, we've seen in
- 21:13Speaker 4: many communist nations. Communist nations are almost invariably to talitarian nations.
- 21:19Speaker 4: And we see that whether it was the Soviet Union
- 21:22Speaker 4: and the Gulag where they locked up anyone who dared
- 21:25Speaker 4: stand up against the government, or whether it was maw
- 21:27Speaker 4: and communist China, or whether it was communist Vietnam or
- 21:31Speaker 4: communist Cuba, to talitarian governments or oppressive governments where the
- 21:35Speaker 4: government has total power over you. And in Brazil, let
- 21:39Speaker 4: me explain what's going on. I'm going to give some
- 21:42Speaker 4: context because just seeing the headlines it's hard to know
- 21:45Speaker 4: what's happening.
- 21:46Speaker 3: So let me give you some background.
- 21:48Speaker 4: So in twenty twenty two, there were elections in Brazil
- 21:52Speaker 4: and Brazil's electoral court granted a man named Alexander de Morez,
- 21:58Speaker 4: who is the nations election chief and he's a Supreme
- 22:01Speaker 4: Court justice. They gave him the authority to issue unilateral
- 22:05Speaker 4: orders for the removal of online content deemed false or misleading.
- 22:12Speaker 4: And this was in the context where Lula, the radical
- 22:17Speaker 4: leftists whom Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Love was running
- 22:21Speaker 4: against conservative president Bolsonaro, and these orders were used to
- 22:27Speaker 4: target the supporters of President Bolsonaro. As a court justice,
- 22:34Speaker 4: de Morees had ordered investigations into Bolsonaro and had jailed
- 22:39Speaker 4: some of the president's supporters. So this is a battle
- 22:42Speaker 4: between what is now the previous president and the current
- 22:46Speaker 4: oppressive regime. De Morees has very strong support from the
- 22:51Speaker 4: leftist president today, Lula de Silva. In twenty twenty two,
- 22:56Speaker 4: Bolsonaro won and his supporters attacked brazil federal government buildings
- 23:01Speaker 4: in the capitol in Brazilia. After the attack, De Moores
- 23:05Speaker 4: ordered several social media platforms, including X, to block specific
- 23:11Speaker 4: accounts that he said had been involved in the planning,
- 23:15Speaker 4: saying that the companies would be fined if they failed
- 23:17Speaker 4: to comply. Over time, de Morees ordered more and more
- 23:22Speaker 4: X accounts to be blocked, getting court orders to do so.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Over time, X refused to comply, and Elon Musk began
- 23:31Speaker 4: publicly criticizing de Morees. De Morees then opened a full
- 23:36Speaker 4: investigation into Elon Musk and into X, focused on quote
- 23:41Speaker 4: the dissemination of defamatory fake news, and obstruction, incitement and
- 23:46Speaker 4: criminal organization. De Morees was very unhappy that X and
- 23:50Speaker 4: Elon Musk were standing up to his orders. After months
- 23:54Speaker 4: of non compliance by X, de Morees threatened to arrest
- 23:58Speaker 4: the company's Brazilian attorney and staff over the continuing defiance
- 24:04Speaker 4: of the law, and in response, Elon Musk closed X's
- 24:08Speaker 4: office in Brazil and eliminated all the staff. However, Brazilian
- 24:14Speaker 4: law requires that any company doing business in Brazil must
- 24:20Speaker 4: have legal representation in the country. Therefore, on August twenty eighth,
- 24:26Speaker 4: De Moorrees ordered X to hire a new attorney to
- 24:29Speaker 4: represent it in Brazil within twenty four hours. And understand
- 24:32Speaker 4: this attorney that's being ordered to be hired. Once he's hired,
- 24:36Speaker 4: De Morees intends to throw the attorney in jail. That's
- 24:38Speaker 4: what this is all about. And if X did not
- 24:42Speaker 4: hire a new attorney, the site would be blocked. Elon
- 24:45Speaker 4: Musk refused to hire an attorney just to have the
- 24:47Speaker 4: guy thrown in jail, and De Moores ordered X blocked.
- 24:52Speaker 4: On August thirtieth, De Moores ordered internet service providers to
- 24:57Speaker 4: block access to X and threatened a daily fine of
- 25:02Speaker 4: about nine thousand dollars per day for users who bypass
- 25:06Speaker 4: the ban through virtual private networks, and De Morees also
- 25:10Speaker 4: froze Starlink's finances in Brazil. Starlink is SpaceX's satellite internet business.
- 25:17Speaker 4: To enforce the suspension against X, de Moorrees directed the
- 25:22Speaker 4: National Telecommunications Agency to take action. The order will remain
- 25:27Speaker 4: into effect until the platform complies with the decisions of
- 25:31Speaker 4: the Supreme Federal Court and pays accumulated fines totaling about
- 25:35Speaker 4: three point three million dollars and appoints and representative in Brazil.
- 25:41Speaker 4: De Morees had also instructed both Apple and Google to
- 25:45Speaker 4: remove both X and VPN applications from their virtual stores,
- 25:49Speaker 4: but he reversed this decision the same day, citing concerns
- 25:53Speaker 4: about potential quote unnecessary disruption. So where we are right now,
- 25:59Speaker 4: there is there's no X in Brazil, and this judge
- 26:04Speaker 4: is continuing to try to censor any criticism or any disagreement.
- 26:10Speaker 1: The most shocking part is the fact that they're saying
- 26:13Speaker 1: not just hey, we're gonna kick you out and we're
- 26:15Speaker 1: gonna shut it down and you can't use it, but
- 26:17Speaker 1: they're saying eight nine hundred dollars a day if you
- 26:20Speaker 1: do use it in Brazil. That is an insane well
- 26:24Speaker 1: it's a in sane amount of cash in America, but
- 26:26Speaker 1: it's really an unbelievable amount of money in Brazil.
- 26:30Speaker 4: And understand that's not directed at Elon Musk. That's directed
- 26:34Speaker 4: at an individual Brazilian. They're saying, if you just are
- 26:37Speaker 4: a citizen of Brazil and you go on to X,
- 26:40Speaker 4: they will find you almost nine thousand dollars a day.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I go to the back to the bigger picture here,
- 26:47Speaker 1: and that is the warning. And it feels like we're
- 26:51Speaker 1: seeing a surge in this type of activity around the world.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Is that because when people do things like this, and
- 26:59Speaker 1: governments do things like this, and leaders do things like this,
- 27:01Speaker 1: others like, well they're doing it. So yeah, maybe I'll
- 27:04Speaker 1: take that play out of the playbook because it doesn't
- 27:06Speaker 1: seem like we're head in the right direction here.
- 27:09Speaker 3: You're exactly right, and listen.
- 27:11Speaker 4: This podcast is dedicated to many things, but front and
- 27:13Speaker 4: center is the US Constitution and free speech. And we
- 27:18Speaker 4: had a pod a couple of weeks ago that focused
- 27:21Speaker 4: on the United Kingdom throwing a British citizen in jail.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Sentencing him a jail for twenty months for a Facebook post.
- 27:29Speaker 4: This is a pattern we're seeing across the globe of
- 27:33Speaker 4: government power being used to censor and silence views they
- 27:37Speaker 4: don't like. And this is being done. Look, this is
- 27:40Speaker 4: the instinct we see in America with Joe Biden, with
- 27:44Speaker 4: Kamala Harris, and with congressional Democrats pressuring We discussed on
- 27:49Speaker 4: this podcast a few episodes ago Mark Zuckerberg's letter explaining
- 27:53Speaker 4: that the Biden Whitehouse had pressured him to censor views
- 27:57Speaker 4: they don't like. This is a pattern, and it's a
- 28:00Speaker 4: very dangerous pattern. And the more we see leftists getting
- 28:04Speaker 4: away with abusing government power to silence dissent, the worse
- 28:10Speaker 4: it gets because it encourages everyone else. And this is
- 28:12Speaker 4: ultimately a threat to free speech in America. Let me
- 28:16Speaker 4: point out, among other things, X is an American company.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Where is the administration? Where is Why is Joe Biden
- 28:23Speaker 4: not denounced this atrocious violation of free speech? Why has
- 28:28Speaker 4: Kamala Harris been utterly silent? Why has the entirety of
- 28:33Speaker 4: the executive branch been silent? And the reason is they're
- 28:36Speaker 4: happy they want X band. And I got to say,
- 28:40Speaker 4: I think Kamala Harris wishes she could ban X here
- 28:44Speaker 4: because the left today, you know, been there was a
- 28:48Speaker 4: time when democrats defended free speech. Today more and more
- 28:52Speaker 4: democrats are very happy trying to silence anyone who disagrees
- 28:57Speaker 4: with them.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You also look at just this and the again, it's
- 29:02Speaker 1: a wake up call, I think, as we describe it here,
- 29:06Speaker 1: and Michael Sellenberger had this to say about the world
- 29:10Speaker 1: taking this giant leap into forward into detalitarianism in Brazil,
- 29:16Speaker 1: and I want to play part of that because I
- 29:17Speaker 1: think it's important what he had to say.
- 29:20Speaker 5: Budi. It's Mike Schellenberger for public. The world took a
- 29:24Speaker 5: giant leap forward into totalitarianism yesterday as the Brazilian government
- 29:28Speaker 5: blocked X formerly Twitter and threatened to find its citizens
- 29:32Speaker 5: eighty nine hundred dollars per day if they use it.
- 29:35Speaker 5: Brazil's the sixth largest nation by population in the world,
- 29:38Speaker 5: and it now joins North Korea, China, and Iran the
- 29:41Speaker 5: list of countries that have banned X. It's the twelfth
- 29:44Speaker 5: largest economy in the world in a superpower of the
- 29:46Speaker 5: Global South. It doesn't matter whether or not you care
- 29:48Speaker 5: about Brazil. It's totalitarianism is at risk of spreading around
- 29:52Speaker 5: the world, and yet neither Joe Biden, nor Vice President
- 29:56Speaker 5: Kamala Harris, nor anyone else in the US government has
- 29:58Speaker 5: denounced the censorship. That's probably because Biden, Harris and the
- 30:02Speaker 5: Democrats all support the censorship and have been directly funding
- 30:06Speaker 5: it for years now. Of course, there is authentic demand
- 30:10Speaker 5: for censorship from within Brazil, and it is ultimately up
- 30:12Speaker 5: to the Brazilian people to reverse its nation's descent into detalitarianism.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Brazil's powerful government funded news media corporations have been urging
- 30:22Speaker 5: censorship in part because it benefits President Lula's ruling Workers
- 30:26Speaker 5: Party and them directly. It's now up to Senate President
- 30:30Speaker 5: Drigo Pacheco to impeach the Supreme Court justice turned dictator
- 30:33Speaker 5: Aleschandra Jimais. At the same time, the Biden administration and
- 30:38Speaker 5: Democrats have played an influential role in instigating the censorship
- 30:41Speaker 5: in Brazil. The FBI went to Brazil and gave it
- 30:44Speaker 5: Supreme Court Justice's advice on how to censor its population.
- 30:48Speaker 5: The US government has been funding many of the NGOs
- 30:51Speaker 5: in Brazil that have been demanding censorship since the election
- 30:54Speaker 5: of a populous president there in twenty eighteen, and when
- 30:58Speaker 5: I testified before Congress in May of this year, the
- 31:01Speaker 5: Democrats on the committee and their witness all defended Brazil's censorship,
- 31:06Speaker 5: and Pacheco yesterday affirmed his support from Maris. The US government,
- 31:11Speaker 5: after the election of the populist president Jerob Bolsonaro in
- 31:14Speaker 5: twenty eighteen, funded these pro censorship organizations which have been
- 31:18Speaker 5: demanding censorship. Maris yesterday openly defended censorship to prevent extremist
- 31:23Speaker 5: populist groups from coming to power. As United States Federal
- 31:27Speaker 5: Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr noted yesterday, that's a direct violation
- 31:32Speaker 5: of the Brazilian constitution, which explicitly protects political speech. As such,
- 31:37Speaker 5: the tutulitarian takeover of Brazil is a model for what
- 31:40Speaker 5: the Democrats and the legacy news media went for the
- 31:43Speaker 5: whole world. Pro censorship scholars at Stanford and Harvard, Democrats
- 31:47Speaker 5: in Congress and the US news media have long recognized
- 31:50Speaker 5: that the First Amendment is an obstacle to their plans,
- 31:53Speaker 5: and so they have supported censorship efforts by nations around
- 31:57Speaker 5: the world with weaker free speech protections like Brazil, Britain,
- 32:00Speaker 5: Australia and the European Union. They're looking for them to
- 32:04Speaker 5: censor and even block X. We need to grow our
- 32:07Speaker 5: global free speech movement because if we don't stop the
- 32:09Speaker 5: spread of totalitarianism over there, it will make it harder
- 32:12Speaker 5: for us to stop it over here. I urge my
- 32:15Speaker 5: Brazilian friends to stay on X. Everyone knows that it
- 32:18Speaker 5: would be extremely difficult from Morice to enforce his insane decree,
- 32:23Speaker 5: much less fairly and equally. Proof of this comes from
- 32:26Speaker 5: the fact that the Brazilian government and the ruling Workers
- 32:29Speaker 5: Party are still using X, which means that they are
- 32:32Speaker 5: also using VPNs to illegally evade their own ban. Brazil
- 32:36Speaker 5: is thus not just a dictatorship but a lawless one.
- 32:40Speaker 5: Its leaders are behaving like the hypocritical pigs in George
- 32:43Speaker 5: Orwell's animal farm. Now, the good news is that Brazilian politicians,
- 32:48Speaker 5: including Senator Eduardo Jigau, Congressman Marcel van Hatten, and Vice
- 32:53Speaker 5: Governor of Mina Curis Matteos Simoy's, are all resisting the
- 32:58Speaker 5: ban and posting on X. I never imagine myself practicing
- 33:01Speaker 5: and propagating civil disobedience set simoins but censorship cannot be tolerated.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Ever, Senator, there's a lot to unpack there, and there's
- 33:10Speaker 1: a lot of accusations, which obviously I think are backed
- 33:14Speaker 1: up in facts that this administration not only is like
- 33:18Speaker 1: sending our government officials down to Brazil, but we're advocating
- 33:27Speaker 1: in supporting this type of reaction from the people in
- 33:32Speaker 1: government in Brazil. That right there, on its face is
- 33:35Speaker 1: just total insanity.
- 33:38Speaker 4: It is and part of the reason why I'm glad
- 33:41Speaker 4: we played that that clip from Schellenberger.
- 33:43Speaker 3: You know, Schollenberger is an independent journalist.
- 33:46Speaker 4: He's been been very vocal and effective taking on some
- 33:49Speaker 4: of the some of the extremes of the of the
- 33:52Speaker 4: radical left on the Green New Deal climate alarmist. But
- 33:57Speaker 4: also he was integral in highlighting the Twitter files, and
- 34:00Speaker 4: he was one of the individuals who went into great
- 34:03Speaker 4: detail when Elon Musk opened up how Twitter had been
- 34:08Speaker 4: actively censoring speech and doing so at the behest of
- 34:11Speaker 4: the US government. Schellenberger did a very effective job laying
- 34:15Speaker 4: that out, chapter and verse, and and I wanted us
- 34:19Speaker 4: to play that because I think he did a very
- 34:21Speaker 4: effective job of tying what's happening in Brazil. People might say, well, look,
- 34:25Speaker 4: I don't live in Brazil. Why do I care?
- 34:28Speaker 3: Well?
- 34:29Speaker 4: Number One, Brazil is a very important country and it's
- 34:31Speaker 4: the largest country in Latin America.
- 34:33Speaker 3: This is our hemisphere.
- 34:35Speaker 4: It impacts the United States significantly what happens in Central
- 34:40Speaker 4: and South America. But secondly is the interconnection. This is
- 34:47Speaker 4: foreshadowing where the American left wants to go some of
- 34:51Speaker 4: the facts that the Schellenberger laid out. The FBI went
- 34:55Speaker 4: to Brazil and coached the Brazilian government on how to
- 35:00Speaker 4: censor their opponents.
- 35:02Speaker 1: That's stunning, which is insane, and that be our tax
- 35:07Speaker 1: dours that are paying for that trip.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Well, not only that, but our tax dollars are funding NGOs,
- 35:13Speaker 4: non governmental organizations that are pushing for censorship. The modern
- 35:18Speaker 4: left has decided censorship is a good, good thing. And
- 35:21Speaker 4: by the way, they only censor those they disagree with.
- 35:25Speaker 4: They don't censor leftists, they don't censor Marxists, they don't
- 35:29Speaker 4: censor communists, they don't censor those on the left. They
- 35:33Speaker 4: censor anyone who stands up to oppression. And understand this
- 35:37Speaker 4: also in the broader context. So Bolsonaro, when he was
- 35:39Speaker 4: President of Brazil, Brazil made a hard pivot towards the
- 35:45Speaker 4: United States. He wanted to be friends with the United States.
- 35:49Speaker 4: I went and I had dinner with Bolsonaro. He came
- 35:51Speaker 4: to the United States, came to Texas. At dinner with
- 35:54Speaker 4: him in Dallas. He pivoted very much, wanting Brazil to
- 35:58Speaker 4: be an ally of America, for US to do more
- 36:00Speaker 4: trade and commerce with them, for them to stand with
- 36:03Speaker 4: US on foreign policy. That's unequivocally good. And Joe Biden
- 36:07Speaker 4: and Kamala Harris came into office and they hated him
- 36:10Speaker 4: because Bolsadaro was close to Trump and anyone who was
- 36:15Speaker 4: nice to Trump, they hated. If you like Trump, they
- 36:17Speaker 4: hate you. And it's bizarre. They define their entire foreign
- 36:20Speaker 4: policy by the way, whether you liked or hated Trump.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Iran hated Trump, so they love Iran. Bolsonaro loved Trump,
- 36:28Speaker 4: so they they hated him. But the Biden Harris administration
- 36:32Speaker 4: undermined Bolsadaro, constantly did everything they could to effectively cheer
- 36:38Speaker 4: on Lula, and we now have a radical leftist who
- 36:41Speaker 4: hates America as the president of Brazil. He's engaging into
- 36:46Speaker 4: talitarian censorship, and the Biden White House, I believe, is
- 36:50Speaker 4: cheering him on.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 36:54Speaker 1: your friends. Please share it on social media so that
- 36:57Speaker 1: others will hear what I'm exposing. And I'll see you
- 36:59Speaker 1: back here tomorrow
