- 0:23Speaker 1: only exceed expectations by believing in yourself. People always talk
- 0:27Speaker 1: about purpose or gifts. If you have a gift, lead

- 1:01Speaker 1: Lie twenty second singles, says the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart
- 1:05Speaker 1: track that we're gonna talk about at the top of
- 1:07Speaker 1: the show. He did it for me. Tamla is a wife, mother, actress,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and most importantly a businesswoman within the parel line. We're
- 1:15Speaker 1: gonna talk about all these things. She's the number one
- 1:18Speaker 1: guest on my money making Conversation platform, so always I'm
- 1:22Speaker 1: always happy to have a back. Please welcome to the show, Tamla. Man.
- 1:26Speaker 1: How you doing this? Man? Good morning, I'm doing great.
- 1:29Speaker 1: How about your sell? Well? You know always always, First
- 1:32Speaker 1: of all, thank you for taking the time on your
- 1:33Speaker 1: business schedule. Anything you want to share before we get
- 1:36Speaker 1: into the interview, because you always got something new. You
- 1:39Speaker 1: always do breaking news on my show. You know, anything's
- 1:42Speaker 1: breaking news. First of all, let me thank you, thank
- 1:47Speaker 1: you guys for having me. And I'm so grateful for
- 1:51Speaker 1: the opportunity to be able to share and to be
- 1:54Speaker 1: able to spread the word and to encourage other people
- 1:57Speaker 1: that they can do it too. And then like he
- 1:59Speaker 1: did it for but he did it for YouTube and
- 2:01Speaker 1: he can do it for you. And I'm just really excited.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You know, the clothing line, I'm releasing a new um shapewear. Okay,
- 2:09Speaker 1: talking about let's talk about that before we getting in
- 2:11Speaker 1: the song there, we'll talk about the clone because I
- 2:13Speaker 1: have new so I was giving it so because we're
- 2:16Speaker 1: going in the summer, you know, I was at that
- 2:17Speaker 1: shopping for some little separate you know, and so so
- 2:21Speaker 1: I realized that that's one of the most that's one
- 2:23Speaker 1: of the most most purchases. You know, you cant suits,
- 2:26Speaker 1: you get dresses, but separates and and casual apparel is
- 2:30Speaker 1: the number one sellers out there. Tell us a felic
- 2:32Speaker 1: on the details, Tamla, Well, the details, well, the details
- 2:36Speaker 1: on that is actually I'm shapewear is actually one of
- 2:41Speaker 1: the number one sellers period on on on the platform
- 2:47Speaker 1: out there for women because everybody is always going to
- 2:50Speaker 1: be nicely shaped up and like you know, it just
- 2:53Speaker 1: looks like it makes it looks nice in your clothes.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So the shapewear is our prime thing that we have
- 2:59Speaker 1: for this summer that we're releasing, uh this coming week.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So I'm just encouraging the ladies sizes from Hey, you know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: we go from twelve to thirty two, but we have
- 3:10Speaker 1: so so you just just say just go Temberman dot
- 3:13Speaker 1: Com checking out, check out the screen to make sure
- 3:16Speaker 1: for your size and go from there. But I'm just
- 3:19Speaker 1: excited about it because everybody been asking me so shy.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I'm just getting it out there. So y'all, y'all do
- 3:25Speaker 1: what y'all do. Come on, then let's do this. You know,
- 3:27Speaker 1: at the time, just watching you grow. You're just watching
- 3:30Speaker 1: you grow as as a person, as a businesswoman, you know,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and a spokeswoman, a spokesperson you know. You know. So
- 3:37Speaker 1: so how is that you know when when people come
- 3:40Speaker 1: to you now like you you know, because I know
- 3:42Speaker 1: it's a little shyness when you're talking about your your
- 3:45Speaker 1: your shapewear, but but it's part of the crown that
- 3:48Speaker 1: you wear now, you know, how are you if you
- 3:51Speaker 1: give people advice about expectations and also living up to
- 3:55Speaker 1: the expectation. How do you handle that? You know? It
- 4:00Speaker 1: can sometimes feel a little heavy, like you can feel
- 4:03Speaker 1: the heaviness of people like watching you and things like that.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But the only thing I can do, I can be
- 4:09Speaker 1: the best meal that I can be. I can just
- 4:11Speaker 1: share the knowledge that I have. And when it comes
- 4:14Speaker 1: to health and wellness, you know, to me, it's been
- 4:19Speaker 1: a struggle with that part and I just let people
- 4:21Speaker 1: in that you know, I'm working on it, working with it,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and I'm just whatever somebody can give me encourage me,
- 4:28Speaker 1: Like I'm trying to encourage you with your your gear,
- 4:31Speaker 1: which I call it a gear instead of shape or
- 4:36Speaker 1: people say dirtles. But I just think it's important that
- 4:40Speaker 1: we look nice just because we think, don't mean that
- 4:43Speaker 1: we have to just look any kind of way and
- 4:45Speaker 1: just have to just all thrown out there where we
- 4:48Speaker 1: cannot be neatly, you know, neatly dressed. And that's what
- 4:52Speaker 1: shape where it does for you. And I just like
- 4:54Speaker 1: to be able to share, especially with my thick ladies,
- 4:57Speaker 1: that we have stuff that can look nice on us.
- 5:00Speaker 1: That's what I really you know, grabbed into Gravitated that
- 5:03Speaker 1: I wanted good quality clothing for for us the shot
- 5:08Speaker 1: because sometimes you know, you get fabrics and you hold
- 5:12Speaker 1: it up or even when you hope you can see
- 5:14Speaker 1: through it, right, And I was like, I don't want
- 5:16Speaker 1: people to be able to see through my things. It's
- 5:18Speaker 1: like or see your body before they get to you,
- 5:21Speaker 1: I mean, and they see you your skin coming to
- 5:24Speaker 1: your clothes. So things like that. It's very important to me.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And that way it's heavy on me that I still
- 5:31Speaker 1: have to find things that's compatible for as pricing because
- 5:36Speaker 1: the more you you wanted, the better quality. Of course,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you know, it costs more money bottom line. And I'm
- 5:42Speaker 1: just trying, you know, I'm learning this thing like you
- 5:44Speaker 1: were saying earlier, and to just be honest with people.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And you know, you know we do it for other
- 5:51Speaker 1: genres or other people that are not from our community.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I just want us to learn to support one another
- 5:58Speaker 1: and we all can grow and we all can be
- 6:00Speaker 1: Mel's or whatever we wanna be if we support our
- 6:03Speaker 1: own as black people. Guys, we don't really need nobody
- 6:07Speaker 1: that we could do it all ourselves, you know, just
- 6:11Speaker 1: supporting me that I'm talking to Tamela Man, she's appreciating
- 6:13Speaker 1: the economics. So the Black community, we support each other.
- 6:16Speaker 1: We don't need nobody to support us. And that's really true.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And that's why I created a platform Money Making Conversation
- 6:23Speaker 1: master Class, because I wanted to make sure that entrepreneurs
- 6:25Speaker 1: in the Black community recognized you are our new stars.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You just happen to be an incredibly gifted singer, incredibly
- 6:32Speaker 1: gifted actors, but you also as an entrepreneur, needs to
- 6:36Speaker 1: be recognized that in female entrepreneurs are the fastest growing
- 6:39Speaker 1: segment of small businesses and so and we need to
- 6:44Speaker 1: we need to realize that because that's a that's a
- 6:46Speaker 1: big thing to undertain, understand. And like, I grew up
- 6:49Speaker 1: with six sisters, and so when you start talking about shape,
- 6:52Speaker 1: where we start talking about, you know, sizes that aren't petigue,
- 6:55Speaker 1: you start getting above twelve, you know, you know the
- 6:58Speaker 1: part of the last five ten years women have been
- 7:01Speaker 1: able to who felt that were full figure can actually
- 7:04Speaker 1: be comfortable being full figured. And I think, you know,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I think that because you know, you used to go
- 7:09Speaker 1: our shop. All you have with a big old T shirt,
- 7:11Speaker 1: big old T shirts they had that they had the
- 7:13Speaker 1: big T shirts for the for those ladies, but they
- 7:15Speaker 1: didn't have the gear or the the the apparel that
- 7:19Speaker 1: allowed them to the proud of what they're doing. Talk
- 7:22Speaker 1: about that transition, because that looked nice and didn't look
- 7:27Speaker 1: like a table club, right, and then that and let's
- 7:30Speaker 1: say I could say that because I have six sisters,
- 7:33Speaker 1: so I've dealt with their emotions, I've dealt with them,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you know how they had to deal with that, how
- 7:38Speaker 1: they had to and then they look so I have
- 7:40Speaker 1: to deal with their friends. And now you, like I said,
- 7:42Speaker 1: you've been part of that revolution or evolution. What that
- 7:46Speaker 1: has been the the tremendous change is it? Is it
- 7:48Speaker 1: the fact that you know, we had the Lizzos out there,
- 7:50Speaker 1: we have that and that they had that commotional I
- 7:53Speaker 1: think that Dove commercial we had all the four figured
- 7:56Speaker 1: ladies posing in their underwear looking comfortable. One has been
- 7:59Speaker 1: the significant change to make this a comfortable a comfortable conversation.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You know what. I think what being honest, since you're
- 8:08Speaker 1: talking about the money of the economics of it, is
- 8:11Speaker 1: they see that they can make money, thank you, and
- 8:15Speaker 1: by them showing us and people that look like us.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You know, I don't need to see you know, nothing
- 8:22Speaker 1: against anybody that's small, but if you're trying to sell
- 8:26Speaker 1: me something, I need to see somebody this think like me.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I don't need to see a small person, a critique
- 8:31Speaker 1: person that doesn't look like me, because that doesn't make
- 8:34Speaker 1: me feel like whatever it is, it's gonna look right
- 8:38Speaker 1: and fit my shape, you know, or you know the
- 8:42Speaker 1: way that I'm built. So I think that's the importance
- 8:44Speaker 1: of it. And they see now we're getting more eyes
- 8:48Speaker 1: and more commercials because they see that they can make
- 8:51Speaker 1: money from us. Absolutely. Well, the way you've always made
- 8:55Speaker 1: money is that you've been spirited by the law, by
- 8:58Speaker 1: the world. What do I mean to as they can
- 9:00Speaker 1: make money for us for plus plus size people or no. No,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I was just making a positive transition. I'm about to
- 9:06Speaker 1: get to why I really brought you old this show.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You know, he did it for me because I wanted
- 9:11Speaker 1: to do it for me to look, that's why you
- 9:15Speaker 1: know what you do. We'll be right back with more
- 9:19Speaker 1: Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rashan McDonald. Now, let's return
- 9:25Speaker 1: to Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rashan McDonald. You know,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you know, you know I have there's always been a
- 9:32Speaker 1: blessing these type of relationships where I get to see
- 9:35Speaker 1: people grow, you know, and I get to see them somehow,
- 9:39Speaker 1: you know, they're in the back and then they then
- 9:41Speaker 1: they coming to the front, and then also they're in
- 9:43Speaker 1: front of everybody. They become natural leaders, and you become
- 9:45Speaker 1: a natural leader, you know, and and then a natural
- 9:48Speaker 1: leader and the weight loss. You know, he was a
- 9:51Speaker 1: spokesperson on that. Now, let's talk about that transition. Because
- 9:54Speaker 1: of the fact that that was again, it was personal.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're doing a lot of personal endeavors as a as
- 10:00Speaker 1: an entrepreneur. Now how does it how does that impact
- 10:03Speaker 1: you and impact your family? You sit down with your
- 10:05Speaker 1: family when you make these decisions. When you were discussing
- 10:07Speaker 1: the way loss, I know it's tied to your needs
- 10:09Speaker 1: and all that stuff, but talk about that well, it
- 10:12Speaker 1: is kind of uh something that I especially say on
- 10:15Speaker 1: the top of David about and then I just kind
- 10:17Speaker 1: of just let my kids know kind of like what
- 10:19Speaker 1: I'm doing. So if someone asked them, you know, they
- 10:23Speaker 1: can kind of answer that into yes or no factor.
- 10:26Speaker 1: But it's important because of my family. You know, obesity
- 10:32Speaker 1: runs in my family, and we're easy. You know. It's
- 10:35Speaker 1: like we have some small ones, but we have a
- 10:38Speaker 1: way where we can be some thick ones if if
- 10:40Speaker 1: we don't watch it. So I'm just really trying to
- 10:45Speaker 1: learn to do better, you know in my situation because
- 10:49Speaker 1: my mother was a full figure woman and she dealt
- 10:51Speaker 1: with hot blood pressure and she didn't have diabetes ran
- 10:55Speaker 1: on my father's side. So I'm really trying to be
- 10:57Speaker 1: careful and like I say, it's a up real journey.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Like some people may have problems with drinking or drugs.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Mind happened to be not even eating enough, eating wrong,
- 11:09Speaker 1: and it's like learning to do different things. So it's
- 11:13Speaker 1: important that we if we share and talk about it.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You know, group therapy really is it really can help
- 11:22Speaker 1: a lot of us because you feel like, first of all,
- 11:24Speaker 1: that you're not alone. Somebody else is dealing with the
- 11:27Speaker 1: same issues that I'm dealing with. I'm not just the
- 11:30Speaker 1: only one making a bad choice and and it and
- 11:34Speaker 1: it kind of takes a little pressure off the mind
- 11:38Speaker 1: where it don't just go heavily for its on the
- 11:41Speaker 1: mental side where it can put you into it and
- 11:44Speaker 1: when you can talk about it to me, when you
- 11:46Speaker 1: learn to talk about issues and we face the facts
- 11:49Speaker 1: about ourselves that Okay, you got an issue here. You know,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you're picking wrong, you're choosing wrong. You know, you just
- 11:55Speaker 1: keep going back the same way. And it's like I'm
- 11:58Speaker 1: believing and asking God. But it's also things that I
- 12:02Speaker 1: have to grab home to and acknowledge that, Okay, Lord,
- 12:07Speaker 1: I'm like like this morning, I was like, damn girl.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You know, it's like talking to myself like you gotta
- 12:13Speaker 1: get this, you gotta do this. That's why that's how
- 12:15Speaker 1: the Overcomer album came about is working to overcome things
- 12:21Speaker 1: and challenges that I'm facing. It's a day to day fight.
- 12:24Speaker 1: It's like I feel like, for instance, that's somebody. You know.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's like when that's when everybody want to invite you
- 12:30Speaker 1: out to eat or they're bringing something, fix you something,
- 12:34Speaker 1: it's not the right thing. It's like the devil to me.
- 12:38Speaker 1: But but it's like, but it's still, it's a it's
- 12:43Speaker 1: a process. It's really it really is a process and
- 12:47Speaker 1: learning not to point the finger at other people with
- 12:49Speaker 1: the point to fingers yourself that you need to address again,
- 12:53Speaker 1: face facts by yourself. You know. The beauty of see
- 12:57Speaker 1: this is the humbleness. Let me just see. That's why
- 13:00Speaker 1: I love interviewed her. Your and London Adult two of
- 13:03Speaker 1: my favorite people, and they both humble, brilliant people. Okay,
- 13:06Speaker 1: but I'm gonna tell you how brilliant she is. Okay.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Tamlin Man in history is the first gospel artist with
- 13:13Speaker 1: nine number one singles on Billboards Gospel Airplay Chart. And
- 13:18Speaker 1: it started and ended recently when he did it for me.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Now see when you start seeing see this the humble
- 13:25Speaker 1: part of this conversation, she actually talking to me. Okay, nine,
- 13:28Speaker 1: Now this is Michael Jackson talk. Okay, this Elvis Pressley talk.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You know I'm saying this is Beatles talk. You know it.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's why That's why I I told her you'll be
- 13:38Speaker 1: headlining Esens one day, because my whole thing is that
- 13:42Speaker 1: you just can't keep not hearing about this greatness and
- 13:46Speaker 1: not showcasing this greatness. Nine though, Tamler, nine, when you
- 13:53Speaker 1: when you? When does it soaking? When does it? When?
- 13:55Speaker 1: When do you realize what you're doing to us and
- 13:59Speaker 1: and and up there than us? Come on, now, you
- 14:02Speaker 1: last I didn't. I didn't bring you back to crying. Now,
- 14:04Speaker 1: come on. I know, but it's gear for tears though.
- 14:08Speaker 1: It's it's not sad, it's like happy. And I don't know.
- 14:12Speaker 1: All I know is I accepted the call and I
- 14:18Speaker 1: am just trying to be a willing vessel to encourage
- 14:21Speaker 1: God's people, inspire, bring hope and it minds so happened
- 14:26Speaker 1: to come through music. And when I got word that
- 14:31Speaker 1: the song was number one, I was like, oh, thank
- 14:33Speaker 1: you Lord. And then I got word back and like
- 14:37Speaker 1: an hour so later, was saying, you know that Billboard
- 14:40Speaker 1: had put that out about it being the ninth and
- 14:44Speaker 1: because I really don't look at all that stuff shout,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I don't. That's my job. That's my job. I don't
- 14:50Speaker 1: keep ope with I don't keep up with it. But
- 14:53Speaker 1: what I heard it my eyes teared up. But my
- 14:57Speaker 1: thing is to share. God has no respect to person.
- 15:01Speaker 1: If he did it for me, he can do it
- 15:02Speaker 1: for you. And I'm just grateful that he's done it
- 15:05Speaker 1: for me. And my tears are like it's like overwhelming
- 15:12Speaker 1: because it came out of frustration and hearing somebody saying,
- 15:17Speaker 1: why is things coming to her? Why is you know,
- 15:20Speaker 1: why is her songs being number one? Or why is
- 15:23Speaker 1: she getting movie deals or you know, selected to do TV? Why?
- 15:28Speaker 1: When I went back to my I was talking to
- 15:30Speaker 1: my daughter Tilla and the producer field, I was like,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I just started crying because I was like, why would
- 15:36Speaker 1: somebody say stuff like that? Because I'm trying so hard
- 15:39Speaker 1: to just be out here just working and just trying
- 15:43Speaker 1: to be a light bottom line. And I just started
- 15:48Speaker 1: expressing and just talking. And the producer came back with
- 15:51Speaker 1: the cook to the song and he had one verse
- 15:58Speaker 1: and then I went back and I wrote the second verse.
- 16:00Speaker 1: He was like, Mama, I think he said this is
- 16:02Speaker 1: something and I was like, this is perfect. But he
- 16:06Speaker 1: he took all my words and put him into the song.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And that's where you know where we are with he
- 16:16Speaker 1: did it for me, man, I'm telling you, but every
- 16:18Speaker 1: time I sing it though now, y'all, it makes me
- 16:21Speaker 1: cry because I'm grateful. I'm so grateful. Well you know,
- 16:26Speaker 1: you know, thank you. You know you're always grateful. You
- 16:29Speaker 1: always thankful. Like said, there's always a positive journey. When
- 16:31Speaker 1: I bring you on the show to talk about it
- 16:33Speaker 1: just uplifting for my listeners and my viewers who get
- 16:35Speaker 1: to see it on video because you're such a positive
- 16:38Speaker 1: shine light. But I'll be remissed if I don't talk
- 16:41Speaker 1: about your number one fan, you know who's always been
- 16:44Speaker 1: pushing you out front. You know, you know, you know
- 16:47Speaker 1: Big d You know David and he is he is
- 16:52Speaker 1: He's always he's up working late all the time. David
- 16:56Speaker 1: is my number one supporter. He always tells me he's
- 16:59Speaker 1: I'm enough more a fan. And to just see him
- 17:03Speaker 1: standing on the sidelines, I try not to look at
- 17:06Speaker 1: him because he's singing with me and he's like, and
- 17:11Speaker 1: if I don't feel good, y'all, hears sing every song,
- 17:15Speaker 1: every word, every on the side, like I was pushing you.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I was pushing you. I was singing with you. That's
- 17:20Speaker 1: why you was able to hit that note because I
- 17:22Speaker 1: was singing, which he's always making me laugh. And and
- 17:28Speaker 1: I tell him constantly that I appreciate him and for
- 17:32Speaker 1: just loving me and working behind the scenes when people
- 17:36Speaker 1: don't know. Everything that's happening is you know, with the
- 17:41Speaker 1: Lord and him is happening because of him and the
- 17:44Speaker 1: Lord and the Lord first, and it's just amazing. And
- 17:50Speaker 1: I really, I just I can't thank him enough. I
- 17:53Speaker 1: can't thank him enough for just believing in me when
- 17:56Speaker 1: I didn't believe in myself. That's what I wanted here,
- 17:59Speaker 1: because let's talk about that about you all the time, okay, Yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 1: and pushing me, I mean, because you know, he gave me.
- 18:09Speaker 1: He helped me stay up the gift as he did
- 18:12Speaker 1: because I was, you know, like you said, the shyness
- 18:15Speaker 1: and standing out in the forefront. I was like, I'm
- 18:17Speaker 1: happy we've just been in the background, seeing behind Kirk
- 18:20Speaker 1: Franklin and see him behind whoever, you know, just being backstage.
- 18:24Speaker 1: He was like, no, you were a class to him,
- 18:27Speaker 1: and people need to hear that. So it's just it's
- 18:30Speaker 1: amazing to have somebody around you that push you and
- 18:33Speaker 1: that loves you. Awesome. We're I'm talking to Timmel the man.
- 18:36Speaker 1: We're about to get into a new song. He did
- 18:38Speaker 1: it for me. The deluxe version of overcom Or will
- 18:41Speaker 1: be hitting streaming platforms. You're lie twenty second, but lie
- 18:46Speaker 1: twitter second. Now here's some lyrics I pulled from the song,
- 18:49Speaker 1: and we kind of talked about this first one. People
- 18:52Speaker 1: trying to tell me I'm not worthy of my destiny,
- 18:57Speaker 1: and we kind of hit on that earlier. But I'm
- 19:00Speaker 1: people know that's in the song, people trying to tell
- 19:03Speaker 1: me I'm not worthy of my destiny a lot of people.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I kind of say that in my intro. Don't let
- 19:08Speaker 1: your friends, family, or co workers stop you from planning
- 19:12Speaker 1: to living your dreams. Talk about that lyric and the
- 19:15Speaker 1: significance of it, because this is your lyric. This just
- 19:17Speaker 1: happens to be in this song, because I mean to
- 19:20Speaker 1: hear that, just like you were saying just a few
- 19:22Speaker 1: minutes ago, for someone to say that, why is things
- 19:27Speaker 1: happening to you? Why is things coming through up or
- 19:30Speaker 1: you being blessed? Not looking and looking at the fact
- 19:34Speaker 1: that you work, you're putting the work in. You know,
- 19:37Speaker 1: you're putting the time in and you're putting the sacrifice in.
- 19:41Speaker 1: But why you know it's like, oh, well, she don't.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I guess you know because people come, but I guess
- 19:48Speaker 1: from a just on looking that they feel like the
- 19:53Speaker 1: person is that you're not. But that's why I'm so
- 19:57Speaker 1: glad God is God and they don't. They're not in
- 19:59Speaker 1: control without that because they can say what they want
- 20:02Speaker 1: to say. Because people are gonna say things, and some
- 20:06Speaker 1: people are not gonna believe in you. But that's when
- 20:09Speaker 1: you push harder. And that's why we lean and depend
- 20:12Speaker 1: on God. That because he's saying it, I can overcome
- 20:16Speaker 1: it because he's saying it. I can do it because
- 20:20Speaker 1: he's saying it. He's walking with me, and I have
- 20:23Speaker 1: enough faith. And when you have his favor, I mean
- 20:27Speaker 1: favor people, I will say faith ain't fair, but I
- 20:30Speaker 1: say favors for me, and he chose me, So I'm
- 20:33Speaker 1: saying yes to the call. We'll be right back with
- 20:36Speaker 1: more Money Making Conversations master Class with Rashan McDonald. Now,
- 20:42Speaker 1: let's return to Money Making Conversations master Class with Rashan
- 20:46Speaker 1: McDonald a lot of people. They look at me to
- 20:48Speaker 1: go ra Sean, You're always doing so many different things,
- 20:50Speaker 1: but you do it so well. I said, I always
- 20:53Speaker 1: tell October one. I prayed to God and I said, look,
- 20:57Speaker 1: if you allow me to take advantage of my talent,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I promise you I'll give you one in every lane
- 21:04Speaker 1: that I go. That's why that date I put it
- 21:07Speaker 1: on a little yellow post and put on my wall.
- 21:10Speaker 1: When I was an apartment three fifty. You know all
- 21:13Speaker 1: bills have played. It was no bigger than five hund
- 21:15Speaker 1: square feet in Hollywood, and I putared on my wall
- 21:19Speaker 1: and I said, look, and I just came out of
- 21:21Speaker 1: spending thirty days in the hospital along and collapse. But
- 21:24Speaker 1: I went, look, if you allowed me to follow my dream,
- 21:28Speaker 1: I give you one hundred and So when people look
- 21:30Speaker 1: at me, Oh, you're baking reshine, you you're doing this,
- 21:33Speaker 1: you imagining this, You're doing this TV show? How can
- 21:35Speaker 1: you say thing? You? How are you doing all this stuff?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Well yeah, God told me not the long clock. He
- 21:42Speaker 1: woke me up. Now when he woke me up, he said,
- 21:45Speaker 1: go do what you do. And when I go out
- 21:47Speaker 1: there and do what I do it that's what this
- 21:49Speaker 1: song is so important for me. He did it for me,
- 21:51Speaker 1: because the next lyric was God did it. He did
- 21:54Speaker 1: it for me. Right, there's what we're talking about right now.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You know, I prayed in the one You know when
- 22:01Speaker 1: when the favors come your way, you grab them. Okay,
- 22:04Speaker 1: the people out there who are hating out there looking
- 22:06Speaker 1: out on the outside, why that's not happened to you
- 22:09Speaker 1: because you're too much worried about what I'm doing and
- 22:15Speaker 1: not I'm praid when I I'm praid and ask God.
- 22:18Speaker 1: And see, faith with our works is dead. So you
- 22:20Speaker 1: gotta when you pray it, you gotta believe it. See.
- 22:23Speaker 1: The thing is is when you stuck that on that
- 22:25Speaker 1: wall and you said that prayer, you believe God beyond
- 22:29Speaker 1: when you can see. So that's when he worked. When
- 22:33Speaker 1: you have faith and oh they work together. And when
- 22:36Speaker 1: you when you pray and ask God and when you
- 22:39Speaker 1: believe it. That's why he says, if you have to
- 22:40Speaker 1: size the faith, the size of must must have seed.
- 22:43Speaker 1: We're not preaching you, guys, but we're just trying to
- 22:46Speaker 1: encourage you through the Word of God that all things
- 22:49Speaker 1: are possible if you believe, and He only works if
- 22:53Speaker 1: you believe whatever it is, if it's healing, whatever deliverance,
- 22:58Speaker 1: whatever you need to come through for you, It's only
- 23:00Speaker 1: gonna happen if you believe that it can happen. He
- 23:03Speaker 1: moves and that's the action of it. That's how he
- 23:06Speaker 1: moves is because you believe. Okay, one of the final
- 23:09Speaker 1: lyrics that I pulled from the song, that the whole
- 23:12Speaker 1: song is incredible, but these lyrics that personally stood out
- 23:15Speaker 1: to me and the song, and he did it for
- 23:18Speaker 1: me again July twenty second, Overcome, or that the Luxe
- 23:21Speaker 1: position would be available on all streaming platforms. The gifts
- 23:24Speaker 1: he gave me are not easy to carry The gifts
- 23:28Speaker 1: he gave me are not easy to carry on because
- 23:37Speaker 1: you know when we when when you know, it's like
- 23:44Speaker 1: when the Lord of points you, or when you're given
- 23:47Speaker 1: this gift because for a singing Okay, because my my body,
- 23:52Speaker 1: I'm not Jesus. My body doesn't get tired, my voice
- 23:55Speaker 1: does get tired. Um. Being away from my family can
- 23:59Speaker 1: be pool. It has been strenuous at times, especially when
- 24:04Speaker 1: my kids were small and even sometimes being adults, missing
- 24:08Speaker 1: things and and I'm and you're working and trying to
- 24:11Speaker 1: make things still happen, and then I understanding that you
- 24:15Speaker 1: got a lot on your book and on your plate
- 24:17Speaker 1: that you still I'm still so when you do need
- 24:20Speaker 1: to come to me, I'm still working. So when you
- 24:23Speaker 1: do need it, what you need, it's in the bank
- 24:26Speaker 1: based mainland or you or the word of encouragement, it
- 24:31Speaker 1: can be put there. So that's why I mean it's
- 24:34Speaker 1: not easy, because it can be painful and to hear
- 24:38Speaker 1: sometimes the rider care that we were just talking about earlier,
- 24:41Speaker 1: when the naysayers are going and that at work. But
- 24:46Speaker 1: I'm but I'm encouraged because I know that God has
- 24:50Speaker 1: me and I know He's gonna do it because I'm
- 24:53Speaker 1: believing it and after I ask and believe He's doing it.
- 24:57Speaker 1: But that that's what I mean by the gifts are
- 24:59Speaker 1: not easy. If when the body gets tired and I'm pressing,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and even like to this day, if I get horse
- 25:06Speaker 1: for shot, I I get so teary eyed, and that
- 25:10Speaker 1: I feel like I'm not able to give my best
- 25:13Speaker 1: because I always want my mother say love the Lord
- 25:16Speaker 1: with all your heart, and the Lord to take you far.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I always she said, always do things like you just
- 25:21Speaker 1: said one hundred whatever you do, do it to the
- 25:24Speaker 1: best of your ability. Give it everything that you have.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And every time that I stand before God's people, I
- 25:31Speaker 1: am trying to let them have everything that I have
- 25:34Speaker 1: in me. It's like I'm leaving it out there. I'm
- 25:39Speaker 1: leaving on whatever stage, whatever, two or three minutes I get.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I got that from Trailer's season. I'm giving it my all.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm telling you she I'm speaking to Tamla Man. She
- 25:50Speaker 1: is a Grammy Award winning singer. Bill Board reachently announced
- 25:55Speaker 1: she is the first gospel artist with nine number one

- 26:02Speaker 1: incredible deluxe version of the Overcomer. It's coming out your
- 26:06Speaker 1: Line twenty second on all the streaming platforms. Please don't, please,
- 26:10Speaker 1: don't understand that when I bring on the show, she's
- 26:12Speaker 1: motivation for me as a as a as a believer.
- 26:16Speaker 1: She's motivation for the people who listen to it because
- 26:19Speaker 1: they know if she can do it. She's not telling
- 26:21Speaker 1: you you can't. She's sharing the blessings with information. And
- 26:24Speaker 1: that's what we do on Money Making Money, Money Making,
- 26:26Speaker 1: Money Making Conversation Masterclass Again, Tamla, thank you for your time.
- 26:30Speaker 1: As usual, you know I'm gonna be asking we're gonna
- 26:32Speaker 1: get some of some of the banners put them up,
- 26:35Speaker 1: because you know I already put it out there before
- 26:37Speaker 1: you tag me. You know I got that promoted to
- 26:40Speaker 1: as just said. I was out the promote for you
- 26:41Speaker 1: even knew I was, probably because I chat. I don't hate.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I don't hate. I don't hate. I gotta if you shine,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and guess what, I'm gonna add more light to the shine. Okay.
- 26:51Speaker 1: And and that's for your blessing comes from too, because
- 26:55Speaker 1: by you pushing somebody else, the Lord is continually to
- 26:58Speaker 1: bless you and in doors for you, and I pray
- 27:01Speaker 1: the Lord richly bless you and hey, and then it
- 27:05Speaker 1: brings no sorrow. I mean this, he briskly bless you.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I'm telling you, and I believe, and I believe that.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I mean when we sow and by you, so this
- 27:15Speaker 1: is sowing into me, and you know we're sowing it
- 27:18Speaker 1: to each other with words of encouragement that we came
- 27:21Speaker 1: in because sometimes we have to do that as brothers
- 27:23Speaker 1: and sisters. You know, we have to pat each other
- 27:26Speaker 1: on the back, you know, give it, give each other
- 27:28Speaker 1: our flowers. I don't want you to come just talk
- 27:30Speaker 1: over my funeral and then you know you never told me.
- 27:34Speaker 1: So I'm glad that you encourage me. While I'm listening
- 27:37Speaker 1: and I'm alive and will and I canna understand what
- 27:39Speaker 1: you're saying. So thank you so much for what you do,
