- 0:15Speaker 2: Black the million.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Bus buss boozy.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 5: Show, I don't joy, yea joy.
- 0:58Speaker 6: You don't you.
- 1:01Speaker 7: Turn?
- 1:06Speaker 8: You gotta turn.
- 1:29Speaker 9: You got to turn the mouth turn. I probably got
- 1:44Speaker 9: to turn the mouth turn out, turn.
- 1:46Speaker 2: The water of the money up looking.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come on you.
- 2:01Speaker 10: Uh huh, I sure will A good morning everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 10: are listening to the voice, Come on now, digny if
- 2:10Speaker 10: you will. One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:14Speaker 10: you know, one of the things about being successful. And
- 2:18Speaker 10: I was sharing this just the other day with a
- 2:21Speaker 10: young man and he asked me. He said, hey, man,
- 2:26Speaker 10: I just don't see how you get up that early
- 2:29Speaker 10: in the morning. I just don't see how, man, it
- 2:32Speaker 10: would kill me to get up this early in the morning. Well,
- 2:36Speaker 10: I sat down and I'm listening to it because it's
- 2:38Speaker 10: just a thousand times I've heard it, you know, And
- 2:41Speaker 10: my life is, you know, not too different from a lot.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Of people's lives.
- 2:44Speaker 10: There's a lot of people out there that rise early.
- 2:48Speaker 10: And I just sit there, man, because I mean, first
- 2:51Speaker 10: of all, I'm grateful to be able to have a job.
- 2:54Speaker 10: I'm so grateful to be able to do one and
- 2:56Speaker 10: several that I happen to enjoy doing. I mean, you
- 2:59Speaker 10: know it's work and it's difficult at times, but I mean,
- 3:02Speaker 10: you know I wanted this.
- 3:04Speaker 4: You know you got it.
- 3:05Speaker 10: You know you can't ask God for nothing any give
- 3:07Speaker 10: it to you and be mad that you got it.
- 3:08Speaker 10: Don't make no sense. You know the problem with asking
- 3:11Speaker 10: God for stuff is a lot of times we ask
- 3:14Speaker 10: it for stuff we don't really know what all it encompasses,
- 3:16Speaker 10: what all it really is. And I ask for this
- 3:19Speaker 10: now along the way, I've gotten far more than I
- 3:22Speaker 10: asked for. I want you to do. Understand that, and
- 3:26Speaker 10: you know that's His grace at work in my life.
- 3:28Speaker 10: But I get up early and I go to work
- 3:31Speaker 10: because I do understand something that it is not walking
- 3:34Speaker 10: up to you. Nobody walks up to people normally and
- 3:39Speaker 10: just hand them checks all the time, and enough checks
- 3:41Speaker 10: to sustain your life, and not only sustain it, but
- 3:45Speaker 10: to have a life.
- 3:45Speaker 4: That where you could enjoy and do some of the
- 3:48Speaker 4: things you want to do.
- 3:49Speaker 10: I don't know the person that walks out hands out
- 3:51Speaker 10: that money just to be doing it and then with
- 3:54Speaker 10: a lifestyle though, where you can you know, give your
- 3:58Speaker 10: kids a Christmas, you know, take your f I'm on vacation,
- 4:01Speaker 10: you know, a year.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Once a year.
- 4:02Speaker 10: I don't know nobody passing out to kind of money.
- 4:04Speaker 10: So I get up early in the morning.
- 4:06Speaker 4: I get at it.
- 4:07Speaker 10: I was taught to get up early in the morning
- 4:10Speaker 10: by my father because my father says, ain't nothing gonna
- 4:14Speaker 10: come to you while.
- 4:15Speaker 4: You laying there.
- 4:16Speaker 10: And you know what, It's just true, man, it's just
- 4:19Speaker 10: a little common sense. Little old people smart man, they've
- 4:22Speaker 10: been around a long time.
- 4:22Speaker 4: You don't get old.
- 4:23Speaker 10: You know, some old foods out there, but you know
- 4:25Speaker 10: you don't have to deal with them. But old people
- 4:27Speaker 10: are pretty smart, man. They've learned a lot along the way.
- 4:30Speaker 10: And waking up early and getting at it is one
- 4:32Speaker 10: of them things. And I ask everybody man to think
- 4:34Speaker 10: about this scenario of your life. If a day has
- 4:38Speaker 10: twenty four hours in it, and let's just say you
- 4:41Speaker 10: choose to sleep eight of those hours because they tell
- 4:46Speaker 10: you you need eight hours sleep, so you sleep eight hours,
- 4:50Speaker 10: that's a third of your life asleep. Already, just a
- 4:54Speaker 10: third of your life is spent asleep. If you gonna
- 4:57Speaker 10: do eight hours a day. Now, let's say you have
- 5:00Speaker 10: a job that you work eight hours and it is
- 5:03Speaker 10: not the job of your dreams. It's not your dream career,
- 5:06Speaker 10: your dream profession. It's just the one you took, like
- 5:09Speaker 10: all of us, to get it started. And then, like
- 5:12Speaker 10: all of us, some of us end up having this
- 5:13Speaker 10: state that because we've created these bills, because we checked
- 5:16Speaker 10: and check, so we can't leave it because we'll lose
- 5:19Speaker 10: what we've worked for. So let's just say you got
- 5:21Speaker 10: a job that you go to work to for eight hours.
- 5:24Speaker 10: That's another third of your life. That's two thirds of
- 5:28Speaker 10: your life. Feel how you want to feel about your
- 5:30Speaker 10: two thirds? Well, I like sleep. Okay, cool, there's a
- 5:33Speaker 10: scripture about that too. But now you spent two thirds
- 5:35Speaker 10: of your life one on a job you don't care
- 5:38Speaker 10: for if you're not happy that, or one that just
- 5:40Speaker 10: pays the bills, and it's not your dream job or career.
- 5:42Speaker 10: Another third of your life is sleep. Oh now, let's
- 5:44Speaker 10: hold on. Let's talk about the one hour of preparation
- 5:48Speaker 10: that it may take to get to the job. That's
- 5:50Speaker 10: seventeen hours. Let's say your drive time. Let's say getting
- 5:54Speaker 10: to your job. For the average person is anywhere between
- 5:58Speaker 10: thirty to an hour. That's an average of what it
- 6:01Speaker 10: takes to average person. Now some people out there hustling
- 6:03Speaker 10: way harder than that. But let's just say your average
- 6:06Speaker 10: is an hour getting to work. You add another hour
- 6:09Speaker 10: to that going to work. You've now spent eighteen hours
- 6:14Speaker 10: out of the twenty four doing something that's either nonproductive,
- 6:20Speaker 10: you're not happy with, you're not pleased about. It is
- 6:22Speaker 10: not your dream job, it's not your dream profession. And
- 6:24Speaker 10: rest of the time you sleep. Eighteen hours. Now you
- 6:27Speaker 10: got to come from the job, so let's just say
- 6:29Speaker 10: it's another hour to get back home. That's nineteen hours.
- 6:32Speaker 10: Nineteen hours out of a twenty four hour day. You
- 6:34Speaker 10: now have five hours left in your day. Oh, you
- 6:38Speaker 10: watch TV two hours a day. Okay, excuse me. Let's
- 6:41Speaker 10: put now you put two hours of TV on that
- 6:43Speaker 10: you've just spent twenty one. You now have three hours
- 6:47Speaker 10: in the day to do something super productive for the
- 6:52Speaker 10: development of yourself and the future of your family and
- 6:55Speaker 10: your future as a person and what you can provide
- 6:58Speaker 10: for your family. Uh Oh, I need to chill, I
- 7:03Speaker 10: need to smoke one. Uh Oh, I needed some time
- 7:07Speaker 10: at happy. I seem like all I do is dry
- 7:10Speaker 10: to work and go to work. I'm gonna go out
- 7:12Speaker 10: with the fellas drink one. Okay, Let's say you spend
- 7:17Speaker 10: two hours at Happy Ill nobody go to a Happy
- 7:19Speaker 10: Hours yet for a hour. Let's say you spend two
- 7:21Speaker 10: hours at Happy I'll all smoke in all some video games.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Let's do that.
- 7:25Speaker 10: Is there two hours of smoking, chilling video games. That's
- 7:28Speaker 10: twenty three hours of your day gone. Don't you see
- 7:31Speaker 10: how your day slips away from you? So why would
- 7:35Speaker 10: you get up early? You get up early to get
- 7:38Speaker 10: a jump. You get up early to produce, to plan,
- 7:43Speaker 10: to become productive. You get up early in the morning
- 7:46Speaker 10: to care about every single minute of your day. You
- 7:49Speaker 10: wake up early in the morning because you have a plan,
- 7:52Speaker 10: a mission, You have something you want to accomplish. The
- 7:55Speaker 10: earlier you get up, the more time you have just
- 7:58Speaker 10: for you to devote to your plan, and you map
- 8:00Speaker 10: it out, you make them, send some emails, whatever it
- 8:04Speaker 10: is you need to do to get your dream under way.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Then you go get ready. Then you get in your
- 8:10Speaker 4: car and go to work.
- 8:11Speaker 10: Then you go to your job, but on your job,
- 8:13Speaker 10: instead of sitting at your lunch break messing around with
- 8:16Speaker 10: a bunch of people laughing and talking about nothing, playing dominoes.
- 8:19Speaker 10: Why don't you take that hour to do some more research,
- 8:22Speaker 10: to send out some more emails, to put some feelings
- 8:25Speaker 10: out there, to see what can get you in the
- 8:27Speaker 10: place that you want to be. Then when you get off,
- 8:30Speaker 10: instead of driving straight home, why don't you go somewhere
- 8:33Speaker 10: in a meeting, you take in a session with some
- 8:36Speaker 10: people in a positive mental state, group of people that
- 8:39Speaker 10: get together. Network for business, not drink at happy hour.
- 8:42Speaker 10: I said, network for business. So after you've done that
- 8:45Speaker 10: eight that you don't really care for on a job,
- 8:48Speaker 10: you spend some more time pursuing, looking into researching, working towards,
- 8:53Speaker 10: sending out some more applications, putting in some more time
- 8:57Speaker 10: to build your new app discussing some more new working ideas. Okay,
- 9:01Speaker 10: that's your happy hour. Then when you go home, instead
- 9:04Speaker 10: of chilling, drinking one, having a cold one, smoking one,
- 9:08Speaker 10: playing a video game, why don't you take that two
- 9:11Speaker 10: hours and devote that to that business idea. You got
- 9:15Speaker 10: to that family that you talk about, You really want
- 9:17Speaker 10: spend some time with your children, put something into them.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Do something.
- 9:21Speaker 10: Man, when all these precious hours that God gives all
- 9:25Speaker 10: of us in the course of a day, take advantage
- 9:28Speaker 10: of every minute of that. No human being has more
- 9:31Speaker 10: than twenty four hours a day, including myself. But if
- 9:35Speaker 10: you care about every single minute of that day, you'll
- 9:39Speaker 10: be amazed at how much you could get accomplished in
- 9:42Speaker 10: a twenty four hour day. But you can't get none
- 9:45Speaker 10: of that happening because you sleep, and you chilling and
- 9:50Speaker 10: you smoking. Okay, what has that done for you, your
- 9:54Speaker 10: family or your future? Care about every minute of your day.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 10: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, gather around your radio.
- 10:07Speaker 10: That is so old school story of day. Today's story
- 10:11Speaker 10: is a little turning. Remember those stories, guys back in
- 10:16Speaker 10: the day when we're not gonna do one today, because
- 10:19Speaker 10: now this is the new Steve Harvey Morning Show, rocking
- 10:21Speaker 10: and rolling, giving God the credit and the glory. Hoping
- 10:26Speaker 10: that there's rain soon so my lakes can rise, so
- 10:30Speaker 10: I can get on back out here, catch some catfish
- 10:32Speaker 10: for them Friday fish fies. We got things to do.
- 10:36Speaker 10: We need weather to be cracking. But right now rain
- 10:39Speaker 10: and Georgia show. He is lacking all these hot days
- 10:42Speaker 10: y'all may be raising your hand, but you're gonna need
- 10:45Speaker 10: some of this clarity up. Get some of this polling
- 10:48Speaker 10: out your glands. We got things to do this morning.
- 10:51Speaker 10: This is how we doing the show. Steve Harvey should
- 10:54Speaker 10: have been a rapper. I think, Oh that's a show.
- 10:58Speaker 10: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the rise. It's even Harvy
- 11:00Speaker 10: Marters show showing the Strawberry Collin for real, Mississippi Monica Junior,
- 11:05Speaker 10: the comeback kid, and the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Yeah, uh, what is it today?
- 11:14Speaker 3: Man?
- 11:14Speaker 6: You know you are?
- 11:15Speaker 2: You know you're crazy.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 11:18Speaker 2: If you had not been a radio person, what job?
- 11:21Speaker 3: You know? You can't do?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Full time criminal? I can't do that, though, I can't.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I can not full time.
- 11:31Speaker 10: I cannot be a full time criminal. If you're an
- 11:34Speaker 10: occasional criminal, you can stay out of jail, but if
- 11:37Speaker 10: you full time, you're going, You're going, You're going.
- 11:42Speaker 4: You know, I've done some activities in my life I
- 11:44Speaker 4: shouldn't have done. I regretted.
- 11:45Speaker 10: I look back on when I was young, I made
- 11:47Speaker 10: some ill fated decisions. But full time criminal I cannot do.
- 11:54Speaker 10: It's just such a waste of constructive thinking. Most guys
- 11:58Speaker 10: that are criminals are really man. Are some bright people,
- 12:03Speaker 10: they really are, man, they just chose to take their
- 12:05Speaker 10: brightness down the wrong path.
- 12:08Speaker 4: They used it for the wrong purposes, and it cost you.
- 12:12Speaker 11: Man.
- 12:13Speaker 10: I just wish we'd be more aware that young brothers
- 12:15Speaker 10: out there. Man, you gifted and all of that. Man,
- 12:19Speaker 10: put it to good use. Man, find the right path. Man,
- 12:22Speaker 10: get on that path and turn yourself into something you know, man,
- 12:28Speaker 10: so much easier and so much more rewarded. And you
- 12:31Speaker 10: remain available for your families, your girls, and your children.
- 12:36Speaker 10: And that's critical, man, that's a big part of it.
- 12:39Speaker 10: I can't tell you how many men I've met that's
- 12:41Speaker 10: locked away who wish they could just hug their child,
- 12:45Speaker 10: who wish they could let them know a better path,
- 12:49Speaker 10: who wish they hadn't made the decision. One bad decision man,
- 12:52Speaker 10: could ruin your life.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Now.
- 12:54Speaker 10: I don't know how I got on that tangent, but
- 12:56Speaker 10: I just did. So this is how we're doing it today. Yes,
- 13:02Speaker 10: I hope these criminals have learned today so that that
- 13:07Speaker 10: that didn't move a needle at all, you know, No,
- 13:12Speaker 10: I ain't saying nothing profound. I wish you know my
- 13:16Speaker 10: boys camps coming up. I'll do the best I can
- 13:19Speaker 10: with the new two fifty that we get in here,
- 13:21Speaker 10: you know, and.
- 13:22Speaker 1: For that we're grateful. Yeah for that word, everyone got. Yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 1: every little bit help.
- 13:29Speaker 10: I was talking to one of them at the ranch
- 13:30Speaker 10: a couple of weeks ago. He said, mister Hardy, you
- 13:33Speaker 10: change my life. I said, Wow, that was beautiful.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's what it's all aboume. Yes, all right, thank you guys.
- 13:39Speaker 12: Coming up at thirty two minutes after we will hear
- 13:41Speaker 12: from the nephews. He runs that prank back right after this.

- 14:40Speaker 11: Yeah, it happened, you know one time. This is how
- 14:43Speaker 11: you meet people. This is how you meet people sometimes,
- 14:46Speaker 11: you know you.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Want to meet people. Your first impressions are lasting.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Can you bring me some paper? Cat dog? If you would?
- 14:55Speaker 3: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to Charles. I'm looking for Charles.
- 14:59Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:59Speaker 3: This who this child? How can I help you? Hey?
- 15:04Speaker 3: Listen you by speaking with I'm sorry, it's gotty man.

- 15:19Speaker 3: the house, both of our houses?
- 15:21Speaker 6: Yeah, I think let's see. Yeah, we four houses down.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Okay. Now, she loved me a number man, love me,
- 15:28Speaker 3: y'all know me? And then she loved Miss Dars. No.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I tried to call Miss Darts but then nobody answer
- 15:32Speaker 3: the phone.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Yeah, she know I'm in church around this time. Rita
- 15:35Speaker 6: said she was gonna be gone for a minute. So
- 15:38Speaker 6: you say, you down there right right right?
- 15:40Speaker 3: And she told me if I got an emergency anything,
- 15:42Speaker 3: that I could reach out to y'all and call y'all. Right,
- 15:44Speaker 3: right right, Okay? Are you are you busy right now? Man? Well?
- 15:48Speaker 6: Actually, I'm in the middle of cooking my wife from
- 15:50Speaker 6: dinner and uh got some meat on the grill.
- 15:54Speaker 3: But other than that, you know, okay, I mean you
- 15:56Speaker 3: you are you able to help me out with something
- 15:59Speaker 3: right quick? You got you got time for that? Well?
- 16:02Speaker 6: Like I said, I'm in the middle of cooking. If
- 16:03Speaker 6: it's something I can help you with, I you know,
- 16:05Speaker 6: I don't mind coming down there and showing you doing.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Whatever it is that we need to do. Okay, Charlie,
- 16:12Speaker 3: would you out now any paper?
- 16:13Speaker 11: Man?
- 16:14Speaker 6: Any paper?
- 16:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:17Speaker 6: I think I got some newspaper. What you're trying?
- 16:19Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no news. But
- 16:21Speaker 3: I mean some paper? You have some paper?
- 16:24Speaker 6: What notebook paper?
- 16:25Speaker 3: No? See man, listen, Charlie, I like I said, my
- 16:28Speaker 3: name's Gotted man. I know you don't know me. I
- 16:30Speaker 3: didn't got myself in this situation here down here read
- 16:32Speaker 3: the house man, and I didn't. Man, I'm in a
- 16:37Speaker 3: situation I actually and in the bathroom. Man, it ain't
- 16:43Speaker 3: no paper in here. Dog.
- 16:46Speaker 6: So you're saying you want me to bring you some
- 16:49Speaker 6: toilet paper.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I mean, if you don't mind, I'm sitting here. My
- 16:52Speaker 3: legs ain't got none of my I can't feel my
- 16:55Speaker 3: my my whole little body. Man, from butt down, I
- 16:57Speaker 3: can't feel nothing, my feet, everything that went to sleep on.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Hold up. But this dude down here at rita house
- 17:04Speaker 6: saying he wants me to bring his taper because he
- 17:07Speaker 6: didn't got numb sitting on a tuk. Man, look at it, bruh.
- 17:10Speaker 6: I'm in the middle of cooking. I wish I could
- 17:13Speaker 6: help you.
- 17:13Speaker 3: But you know, I mean, I can't tell you ain't
- 17:15Speaker 3: about four hours a doll. Can you just run down

- 36:05Speaker 4: You know exactly where it's going. Where's this going?
- 36:07Speaker 11: I ask the three comedians on the show, what are
- 36:10Speaker 11: y'all doing with you all raggedy body?
- 36:13Speaker 4: Let me hear this question? Oh wow, I wasn't going there, Tommy.

- 38:04Speaker 1: Steve. You can call us and leave a message. You
- 38:06Speaker 1: just might hear your call on the air. Here we go.
- 38:09Speaker 1: This is a call named Ralph Steve who left something
- 38:11Speaker 1: for you.
- 38:12Speaker 7: Hey, Steve, this is Ralph Bryan from Suffer Springs, Texas. Yeah,
- 38:17Speaker 7: I totally agree with you on your points about our
- 38:23Speaker 7: so called president and that if Obama had done half
- 38:26Speaker 7: the things that he done done. You know, they'd have
- 38:29Speaker 7: been talking about impeaching him, and they probably would have
- 38:32Speaker 7: stormed the White House trying to get him out, you know.
- 38:35Speaker 7: So it's pathetic that half our country thinks that what
- 38:40Speaker 7: he's doing is okay. I mean, everything is in the
- 38:42Speaker 7: negative right now, you know, being in a war, you know, inflation,
- 38:48Speaker 7: you know, the price of gas, groceries, everything done went up,
- 38:53Speaker 7: you know, and they trying to say this is a
- 38:55Speaker 7: good thing. Well, he just hadn't gone up. My paycheck
- 38:58Speaker 7: hadn't gone up any my bills have. But it's just
- 39:03Speaker 7: sad that, you know, our country is turning into this.
- 39:06Speaker 7: But you know what I'm afraid of is that he's
- 39:10Speaker 7: gonna try to run for another term, you know, even
- 39:14Speaker 7: though they done made it a point that two terms
- 39:17Speaker 7: is all you can get. You know, he thinks he
- 39:19Speaker 7: wants to be a dictator. You know, he's gonna probably
- 39:23Speaker 7: try to get a statue made of himself outside the
- 39:26Speaker 7: White House.
- 39:26Speaker 6: Who knows.
- 39:28Speaker 7: Y'all have a blessed ay, Junior, the ladies, nephew, Tommy.
- 39:34Speaker 7: All I gotta do is just say one thing, and
- 39:36Speaker 7: that's how about them cowboy?
- 39:41Speaker 4: Well, how about the cowboy?
- 39:43Speaker 11: You were doing.
- 39:43Speaker 4: All right, what did it come from? Man? Come on,
- 39:53Speaker 4: they all suffered enough, Well, how about him? But you
- 39:57Speaker 4: know he made some valid burns.
- 39:59Speaker 10: Personally appreciate him leaving his name even though it wasn't
- 40:03Speaker 10: a critical email, which is what he talks about. But
- 40:08Speaker 10: you know, I agree with what he said. He agrees
- 40:11Speaker 10: with what we've been saying. And it is a tragedy
- 40:14Speaker 10: that our country has come to this, that we've put
- 40:18Speaker 10: we've we've set aside our our our definition of decency.
- 40:27Speaker 4: And respectability, and we've.
- 40:29Speaker 10: Changed it for him so we can continue to say
- 40:35Speaker 10: he's our president. So you changed what decency is, what
- 40:39Speaker 10: is anti corrupt? He's corrupt and he's indecent, and he's
- 40:44Speaker 10: a convicted Fela. And that don't mean nothing to y'all. Man,
- 40:48Speaker 10: this country is sick. If you don't think this country
- 40:51Speaker 10: is sick, it's cause you're you wanted to sick people.
- 40:54Speaker 4: This is crazy, man, this.
- 40:56Speaker 10: Is absolute insanity we're doing in this country. And I'm
- 41:02Speaker 10: ashamed of it. I'm I'm appalled by and I'm embarrassed.
- 41:08Speaker 10: All right, all right, coming up nowhere.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Without him talking about us in the.
- 41:12Speaker 12: World thirty four minutes after, we'll take more calls eight
- 41:16Speaker 12: seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Right after this, what is wrong with your country? You're
- 41:20Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning shows.
- 41:27Speaker 12: All right, Steve, So we're checking your voicemail at eight
- 41:29Speaker 12: seven seven twenty nine. Steve, you can call and leave
- 41:32Speaker 12: us a message and you just might hear your call
- 41:34Speaker 12: on the air. Let's go to Tray Vaughn from Texas.
- 41:38Speaker 16: Hey, Steve, my name is trayvaugh I live in Texas
- 41:41Speaker 16: right now. I'm thirty three years old. I just saw
- 41:43Speaker 16: one of your videos on Facebook.
- 41:47Speaker 6: Birthday.
- 41:48Speaker 16: They had named the street after you, and you spoke
- 41:51Speaker 16: to your brother, I'm watching me on your face, man,
- 41:54Speaker 16: and I started.
- 41:55Speaker 4: To tear up.
- 41:56Speaker 16: And you know, I try to be positive in life. No,
- 42:00Speaker 16: I'm behind the individual. I'm trying to accomplish great thanks
- 42:04Speaker 16: a lot of people.
- 42:05Speaker 2: That's what I think I'm put on this earth.
- 42:06Speaker 1: To do to help people.
- 42:07Speaker 16: And I was watching that video and I just felt
- 42:10Speaker 16: impelled to call you because I see I've been following
- 42:12Speaker 16: you for a long time, ever since Kings Economy. So
- 42:15Speaker 16: I love everything you do, the way you help people,
- 42:18Speaker 16: your passion for helping people and especially boys. But I've
- 42:21Speaker 16: I've watched people drag you through the mud online. I've
- 42:26Speaker 16: heard it in person. I've heard people talk about you
- 42:28Speaker 16: like they know you and you then you know, the
- 42:31Speaker 16: white washed and left black people behind, and I just
- 42:35Speaker 16: I see the exact opposite.
- 42:36Speaker 4: So I just wanted to give you your flowers.
- 42:38Speaker 11: My man.
- 42:39Speaker 4: I love you.
- 42:39Speaker 16: I appreciate everything you do. I think he was a
- 42:42Speaker 16: real dude. I hope to hear from you one day
- 42:44Speaker 16: so I get some guidance.
- 42:45Speaker 1: On my path.
- 42:46Speaker 16: But I just wanted to let you know. Man, you
- 42:49Speaker 16: are seeing and you're appreciated. Yeah, keep doing what you're doing, man,
- 42:53Speaker 16: love you appreciate it.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Wow, that's cool. Here to thank you.
- 42:57Speaker 10: Hey, you know, first of all them accolades you saw me,
- 43:02Speaker 10: I got it sixty just hanging there. Man, you got
- 43:06Speaker 10: you gotta just stay the course. You gotta keep your
- 43:08Speaker 10: foot on the gas pedal, keep the you gotta keep
- 43:10Speaker 10: the grind up.
- 43:12Speaker 7: Uh.
- 43:12Speaker 10: Every everything that due you will come your way. God
- 43:15Speaker 10: will ensure that. I appreciate your defense of me. Uh,
- 43:20Speaker 10: it's so I can't say it. Don't bother me when
- 43:24Speaker 10: I hear people talking about me that don't even know me,
- 43:27Speaker 10: because if you know me, you will shut your mouth
- 43:31Speaker 10: and you would get on the other side.
- 43:33Speaker 4: But it just comes with it. Man.
- 43:35Speaker 10: This people ain't got nothing to do. You know, poor
- 43:38Speaker 10: people talk about other people rich. That's the that's just
- 43:43Speaker 10: understand that poor people talk about other people. And you
- 43:47Speaker 10: don't have to be just poor financially, you can be
- 43:49Speaker 10: poor mentally. Poor people talk about other people, and so
- 43:56Speaker 10: I've learned that in my life. So I appreciate the
- 43:58Speaker 10: call man, and I'm gonna just continue to do my
- 44:01Speaker 10: thing and let the nay sayers be where they're at.
- 44:04Speaker 10: Feel how you want to feel. But at the end,
- 44:06Speaker 10: when my life is over, you will not be the
- 44:08Speaker 10: judge of me. And you ain't the judge of me
- 44:10Speaker 10: now because I don't even I don't give you permission
- 44:13Speaker 10: to judge me. So whatever you said, it's just it
- 44:17Speaker 10: makes no sense to me.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Okay, I'm fine.
- 44:26Speaker 3: All right.
- 44:27Speaker 1: We have another call from Pam.
- 44:29Speaker 9: Good morning, everybody.
- 44:30Speaker 17: This is Pam from Texas. I just wanted to know
- 44:33Speaker 17: what do y'all think about Trump posting a picture of
- 44:36Speaker 17: himself like he's Jesus. You know, we was taught to
- 44:40Speaker 17: never say you hate anybody, but I hate that man.
- 44:43Speaker 17: But anyway, y'all have a good day.
- 44:45Speaker 9: I love y'all.
- 44:50Speaker 1: At her, boy, she was about to business.
- 44:53Speaker 10: You know.
- 44:55Speaker 4: What's crazy this picture?
- 44:59Speaker 10: And he tried to say it was posted because it's
- 45:04Speaker 10: him as a doctor and he's helping people, because you
- 45:09Speaker 10: can see it's a Red Cross person in there, and
- 45:11Speaker 10: he does help people. If you want to be depicted
- 45:15Speaker 10: as a doctor, then put a white jacket on, put
- 45:18Speaker 10: a stethoscope around your neck, and then put a medic
- 45:22Speaker 10: badge on it. Put some ink pans in your pocket.
- 45:25Speaker 10: That robe that you came on with that halo light
- 45:28Speaker 10: behind you was to exemplify that you are a god,
- 45:33Speaker 10: that you are christ Like. That's exactly what you did.
- 45:37Speaker 10: And for you to undress it another way, you know,
- 45:40Speaker 10: that's the analogy. This man peas on us but tells
- 45:46Speaker 10: us it's raining, and I'll just be looking at him like.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Man, you got to be kidding. You can't think we're
- 45:53Speaker 4: that stupid.
- 45:53Speaker 10: But at the same time, this is the same guy
- 45:57Speaker 10: that had a huge disagreement just to say.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Week with the Pope.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Yeah, where are you going?
- 46:06Speaker 4: Man? Where are you going? All right?
- 46:12Speaker 12: Thank you for your calls coming up. It is the
- 46:15Speaker 12: nephew and the prank phone call for today.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:27Speaker 12: Coming up at the top of the hour right about
- 46:29Speaker 12: four minutes after it is my strawberry letter for today,
- 46:32Speaker 12: and the subject is.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I need him to toughen up.
- 46:35Speaker 12: And we'll get to that in just a few because
- 46:37Speaker 12: right now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:40Speaker 11: What you got for his neph One of the twins
- 46:42Speaker 11: is man, blame it on me. One of them is man.
- 46:48Speaker 11: One of them is man. Okay, let's go get which one.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Hello, I'm trying to reach Tony. Yeah, this is Tony, Tony.
- 46:55Speaker 3: What's going on? Man? My name is Kendrick. Man, I'm
- 46:58Speaker 3: trying to reach out to you. You are you the
- 47:01Speaker 3: told you that used to use to date? Man? What
- 47:06Speaker 3: about it? Man? I was trying to reach out to you.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Who you say? This is again? My name Kendrick, Kendrick.
- 47:12Speaker 3: I got, I got, I got a little problem, bro.
- 47:14Speaker 3: Hopefully we can work this out. Man. Look, man, I
- 47:17Speaker 3: ain't got nothing to do with no damn for no more.
- 47:20Speaker 11: Man.
- 47:21Speaker 3: That that's the past. So even they don't even call
- 47:24Speaker 3: me about her, man that just you know, I don't
- 47:26Speaker 3: want to hear do you in do you you do
- 47:30Speaker 3: y'all have kids together? What do y'all have? Do you'll have?
- 47:33Speaker 3: Do you all have children together? Yeah? I got kids
- 47:36Speaker 3: from keep. Man. How you get my number? Man? Say again,
- 47:40Speaker 3: how do you get my number? Hey? Bro, I ain't
- 47:42Speaker 3: trying to have no beef with you, man, it ain't.
- 47:44Speaker 3: It ain't nothing like that. I'm just do y'all. Do
- 47:47Speaker 3: you have a set of twins? Yeah? Man, we got
- 47:50Speaker 3: a set of twins. Man, But waiting, hold on, dog,
- 47:53Speaker 3: why are you calling me? Man? Whatever you in did? Man,
- 47:55Speaker 3: that's you do. But what you're asking me about my
- 47:58Speaker 3: my kids? For? Man? Or bruh? It is? I mean,
- 48:01Speaker 3: I don't even know how to break this on you,
- 48:03Speaker 3: but I'm just gonna just put it out there, Okay,
- 48:06Speaker 3: just and just hit me out, man, just hit me out.
- 48:08Speaker 3: It's been brought to my attention that there is a
- 48:12Speaker 3: strong possibility that one of the twins is mine. Oh
- 48:18Speaker 3: you crazy them? Man? Who you say you is? Again?
- 48:20Speaker 13: Man?
- 48:21Speaker 3: This Kendrick Man? Man, Look man, I'll call my hostitism Man,
- 48:24Speaker 3: how twin gonna be yours? Man? Ain't my twins? Man? Hey? Man,
- 48:29Speaker 3: I found out and I thought I thought the same
- 48:32Speaker 3: thing you thought, Tony I was like, Okay, now that
- 48:34Speaker 3: doesn't even biologically possible, now what I thought? But I
- 48:37Speaker 3: found out that two seeds could actually join the gel
- 48:40Speaker 3: create twins, and each one of them could have a
- 48:42Speaker 3: different daddy. I'm finding this out for the first for
- 48:45Speaker 3: first hand myself. Oh man, we ain't found man. Look man,
- 48:49Speaker 3: whatever I'm telling you, dog, man, the kids is mine. Man,
- 48:55Speaker 3: you ain't got nothing to do with this.
- 48:57Speaker 6: Dog.
- 48:57Speaker 3: You ain't got nothing to do with this.
- 48:58Speaker 10: Man.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Hey, look said man. All I'm trying to do is
- 49:01Speaker 3: get to the bottom or something. Let me let me,
- 49:02Speaker 3: let me let me when y'all listen to me, let
- 49:05Speaker 3: me ask you your set of twins. Are they are they?
- 49:08Speaker 3: I mean? Are they the same shade of color? Are
- 49:10Speaker 3: they different shades? I mean, I'm just asking. I'm never
- 49:14Speaker 3: are they? Look, dog, let me tell you something, Man,
- 49:16Speaker 3: I want you to get this through your head right now. Man,
- 49:19Speaker 3: whatever you got that's on y'all. Man, this ain't got
- 49:22Speaker 3: nothing to do with my twins. Man, ain't got nothing
- 49:24Speaker 3: to do with my twins.
- 49:25Speaker 6: Man.
- 49:26Speaker 3: One of them dark skin when I'm light skinned. And
- 49:29Speaker 3: right there right there, man, what right there? What? Okay, Tony,
- 49:33Speaker 3: let me ask you what what shade of color you are?
- 49:35Speaker 3: You dark here and light skin? I'm dark skinned, man,
- 49:38Speaker 3: I'm light skinned. Man. You know the light skinned twin
- 49:41Speaker 3: must be mine. You know what, Man, I'm not even
- 49:43Speaker 3: continue this conversation no more. I'm gonna just tell you something. Dogs,
- 49:48Speaker 3: you don't know where you whip cousin, I will put
- 49:51Speaker 3: you up. You understand that, dog. Man, Listen, I just
- 49:54Speaker 3: found out that this this is a fruit accident that
- 49:57Speaker 3: is possible to happen. You understand that you talking about
- 50:00Speaker 3: my kids? Man, Man, I understand the passion that you
- 50:04Speaker 3: have for your children. Man, I know you wanted the kids.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Don't eat my house talking about my kids and shows man,
- 50:11Speaker 3: one of the twins is mine? Man, I ain't no man,
- 50:15Speaker 3: Look man, look dog, I tell you what. Man, I'm
- 50:17Speaker 3: gonna let you make your dog. You know what, because
- 50:20Speaker 3: don't call here no more.
- 50:21Speaker 15: Man.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Whatever you and were doing, that's what you and that
- 50:24Speaker 3: crazy it's doing. So she with your old crazy stupid
- 50:29Speaker 3: you stupid enough to call here talking about one of

- 50:38Speaker 3: were you consider I mean? I got up to the

- 50:50Speaker 3: I ain't meet your neck. Well, dog, that's what I'm

- 56:37Speaker 12: We could be reading your letter live on the air,

- 56:42Speaker 12: right now. You never know it could be yours.
- 56:44Speaker 11: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 56:46Speaker 11: We got it for you here. It is strawberry, a lot.
- 56:49Speaker 12: Of all right, nephew, thank you. Subject. I need him
- 56:52Speaker 12: to toughen up, Dear Stephen Shirley. I met a great
- 56:56Speaker 12: man at my therapist's office. He was coming out of
- 56:59Speaker 12: his session and we locked eyes. It was an instant attraction.
- 57:03Speaker 12: My therapist vouched for him and said he's got a
- 57:06Speaker 12: lot going for him and he desperately wants a wife.
- 57:10Speaker 12: I was seeing the therapist to work through some childhood trauma,
- 57:13Speaker 12: and my man was there to get over a bad breakup.
- 57:16Speaker 12: His ex fiance mistreated him and cheated on him. He
- 57:20Speaker 12: said she's always screamed at him for no reason and
- 57:23Speaker 12: stole money from him. I assured him that none of
- 57:26Speaker 12: that would happen with me. After a few months, I
- 57:29Speaker 12: could see how much his past affects him. Dating him
- 57:33Speaker 12: is different because if we have a disagreement, he'll separate
- 57:36Speaker 12: from me for days so I can cool off.
- 57:38Speaker 1: It is never that serious with me.
- 57:41Speaker 12: I understand he's had a traumatic past, but he's forty
- 57:44Speaker 12: two years old and I need him to toughen up.
- 57:48Speaker 12: He runs a division of a warehouse, so I know
- 57:50Speaker 12: he can be a boss. I hate that he agrees
- 57:53Speaker 12: with whatever I say. He said that he does that
- 57:56Speaker 12: so that I won't be upset with him. I like
- 57:59Speaker 12: to have healthy today baits every now and then. I
- 58:01Speaker 12: could tell him that we're having fish covered in brown
- 58:05Speaker 12: gravy for dinner, and he'll say, I'll try it if
- 58:08Speaker 12: that's what you want to eat. It's so aggravating, and
- 58:11Speaker 12: I wish he'd have an opinion. I don't want to
- 58:14Speaker 12: make all of the decisions. I'm also the aggressor in
- 58:17Speaker 12: the bedroom, and I had to initiate sex for our
- 58:20Speaker 12: first time. He handles his business in the bedroom after
- 58:23Speaker 12: I get things started. When you see us out together,
- 58:27Speaker 12: we look like a normal couple. But he's unlike any
- 58:30Speaker 12: other man I've dated. Is he the passive type of
- 58:33Speaker 12: guy that lets his frustration build up and then explodes.
- 58:37Speaker 12: How do I deal with him? How do how do
- 58:41Speaker 12: you deal with him? As your question, my question is
- 58:44Speaker 12: why are you dealing with him? You wanted the man,
- 58:47Speaker 12: you got the man, and now you're trying to change
- 58:50Speaker 12: the man. You knew what was up with him from
- 58:52Speaker 12: your therapist, and you dated him anyway, and now you're
- 58:56Speaker 12: complaining you have issues too. I think that you both
- 58:59Speaker 12: jumped gun, meaning I think you got into this relationship
- 59:03Speaker 12: too fast. You weren't finished working on yourselves individually.
- 59:06Speaker 4: Yet.
- 59:07Speaker 1: You are two broken people.
- 59:09Speaker 12: You're two broken people, You from whatever childhood trauma you
- 59:13Speaker 12: have and him from his relationship with his last girlfriend
- 59:17Speaker 12: who cheated on him and yelled at him. He's still traumatized.
- 59:21Speaker 12: Now the two of you are trying to have something together.
- 59:24Speaker 12: It's not working because you're not ready yet. There's more
- 59:28Speaker 12: work to be done here. I say, continue your private
- 59:32Speaker 12: therapy sessions. And then I say, if you guys are
- 59:34Speaker 12: trying to do something together, you need some couples therapy too.
- 59:39Speaker 10: Steve, you didn't think when you met him at JR.
- 59:46Speaker 10: Therapist office and he was coming out of session. You
- 59:51Speaker 10: ain't see nothing going wrong with this. It's already something wrong,
- 59:56Speaker 10: both of y'all at the therapist office. Now y'all in
- 59:59Speaker 10: that you locking eyes.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Hey, Hey, hey, crazy, you're so crazy? You crazy? I'm crazy.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: I'm crazier to you. You crazy? You ain't crazier to me.
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: What is y'all arguing about? What is this relationship? Like
- 1:00:20Speaker 10: two people that need therapy is dating each other?
- 1:00:25Speaker 11: What is this?
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: Let's okay knowing this, let me read through the letter
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: and see where this therapy comes into play.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: It.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: I met a great man a's a therapist's office.
- 1:00:39Speaker 10: He was coming out of his session and we locked
- 1:00:41Speaker 10: eyes right there, two crazy people saw each other locked eyes.
- 1:00:47Speaker 19: Oh my god, he's a sick as me. Oh my god,
- 1:00:53Speaker 19: look at her. I wonder if she's sick too. Yeah, oh, y'all, okay,
- 1:00:58Speaker 19: let's read a little bit more.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: It was an instant attraction. Yes, yes, it was, Yes,
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: it was.
- 1:01:04Speaker 10: Y'all got so much in common both, y'all coming out
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: the same doctor's office with issues.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: Come on, let's go. My therapist vows for him.
- 1:01:14Speaker 10: Oh now, your therapist is in it, vouching for him,
- 1:01:18Speaker 10: of course, because he gonna say nothing wrong with him,
- 1:01:20Speaker 10: because he's supposed to be in there fixing people, but
- 1:01:23Speaker 10: now he's setting up crazy people. Now see a therapist
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: on a dating service. And we need to look at
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: this letter. And this is now you can say what
- 1:01:32Speaker 10: you want to say about don't say nothing about therapists.
- 1:01:34Speaker 10: This whole letter is about the therapist and therapy at
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: how therapy affects people's decisions.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: My therapist vowed for him and saying he got a
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: lot going on. I bet he do. Hell that why
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: in that.
- 1:01:47Speaker 10: Office you don't see this, y'all. I'm reading this letter
- 1:01:51Speaker 10: with you, and he desperately wants a wife. Couse can't
- 1:01:54Speaker 10: find no wife.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: That won't hear or why?
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: Because he's in that therapist office trying to get fixed.
- 1:01:59Speaker 10: He won't desperately want some wife because he can't find
- 1:02:02Speaker 10: nobody want him. I was seeing the therapist to work
- 1:02:06Speaker 10: through some childhood trauma. What are you still dragging that
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: around for.
- 1:02:11Speaker 16: Now?
- 1:02:12Speaker 10: You're about the childhood trauma into this adulthood relationships. Now,
- 1:02:17Speaker 10: I'm gonna show you what her childhood trauma was in
- 1:02:19Speaker 10: a minute. And I'm not even a therapist.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: I'm so good at this though.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: He's all kinds of politically incorrect.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: All right, child And my man was there to get
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: over a bad break up.
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: His ex fiance told you he had a wife mistreated
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: him and cheated on him. He said she always screamed
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: at him for no reason and stole money from him.
- 1:02:44Speaker 10: I assured him that none of that would happen with
- 1:02:46Speaker 10: me now, because that ain't what she wants. She wants
- 1:02:49Speaker 10: something else, and I'm gonna show you what she want
- 1:02:51Speaker 10: when we come back from the break. These are two
- 1:02:53Speaker 10: people that should have never been together because they met
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: each other at the wrong place.
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: All right, dead Peace office, Hang on, Steve, we'll have
- 1:03:03Speaker 12: everybody if you're in fun. Coming up at twenty three
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject I need
- 1:03:10Speaker 12: him to toughen up. All right, we'll get back into
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: it in just a few you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 13: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:24Speaker 13: after you mop? Power Mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:28Speaker 13: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops soft for
- 1:03:31Speaker 13: power Mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:03:35Speaker 13: and hard to reach places like behind the toilet. The
- 1:03:38Speaker 13: new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning actions
- 1:03:42Speaker 13: for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No more
- 1:03:46Speaker 13: dirty floors. Try the swift for power Mop. Love it
- 1:03:49Speaker 13: or your money back? All right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:03:52Speaker 13: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I need him
- 1:03:55Speaker 13: to toughen up.
- 1:03:57Speaker 10: Let me do a disclaimer before I do this letter
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: for everybody out there, that is in therapy. Yeah, this
- 1:04:05Speaker 10: letter ain't about you. For everybody out there that recommends therapy.
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: I don't for everybody out there that is a therapist.
- 1:04:17Speaker 10: You can just be that's all this is. We're gonna
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: work through this. I can say that, Yes I can.
- 1:04:24Speaker 10: I'm tired of y'all.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: I'm tired. I said it. Yes, Okay, now let's go.
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: I've told you what's wrong.
- 1:04:31Speaker 10: Two people that need help and got met down at
- 1:04:34Speaker 10: the helper's office, and the helper recommended that they get
- 1:04:39Speaker 10: together because that validates him as a therapist, that he
- 1:04:42Speaker 10: knows how to help people. So now he down a
- 1:04:45Speaker 10: matchmaking you either the therapist or your dating site. Make
- 1:04:49Speaker 10: up your mind. Okay, I met a great man at
- 1:04:55Speaker 10: the therapist's offic As soon as he walked out, we
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: locked eyes.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: Y'all recognized that y'all saw in each other. Everybody in
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: there need help.
- 1:05:02Speaker 10: Y'all locked eyes and had and y'all got so much
- 1:05:04Speaker 10: in common. And there, y'all, my therapist vouch for him
- 1:05:08Speaker 10: because you went right in there and said.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: Who was that guy that just went up there? Oh
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: you're talking about crazy.
- 1:05:14Speaker 10: Child, Oh child, cool Child's cool. He just got a
- 1:05:17Speaker 10: couple issues with his ex one, so he vouched for it.
- 1:05:22Speaker 10: I was seeing the therapist who work through some childhood trauma.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Okay, here we go.
- 1:05:26Speaker 10: She finish dragged that into the relationship because the therapy
- 1:05:29Speaker 10: sessions is still ongoing. She has not worked through them yet.
- 1:05:34Speaker 10: So now watch how she bring this drama into the
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: relationship and he gonna bring his and that she was
- 1:05:39Speaker 10: he Canna left his old fiance because she cheated on
- 1:05:41Speaker 10: him and hollered at him for no reason. He is
- 1:05:44Speaker 10: she assured him that would never happen from her and
- 1:05:48Speaker 10: she was in that work through some childhood drama.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Then here we go.
- 1:05:54Speaker 10: Now we're about to find out why y'all still going
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: to the therapist after dating for a few Monster, I
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: can see how much the past affects him. That's because
- 1:06:04Speaker 10: he just started with the therapist. Lady, you should have
- 1:06:06Speaker 10: let him get out and finish his sessions, but he didn't.
- 1:06:09Speaker 10: Dating him is a different cause. If we have a disagreement,
- 1:06:13Speaker 10: he'll separate me from days so I could cool off.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: He get away from me. He don't want no conflict.
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: He think this way to make a relationship last by
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: separating himself from the conflict. Because it's been yelled at
- 1:06:24Speaker 10: through all his marriage and cheated on. It is never
- 1:06:27Speaker 10: that serious with me. Now watch this right here. I
- 1:06:30Speaker 10: understand he's had a traumatic past, but he's forty two
- 1:06:33Speaker 10: year old and I need him to toughen up.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: He runs a division at a warehouse, so I know
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: he can be a boss.
- 1:06:40Speaker 10: I hate that he agrees listen to this. I hate
- 1:06:43Speaker 10: that he agrees with whatever I say. He said he
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: does that so I won't be upset with him. I'd
- 1:06:50Speaker 10: like to have healthy debates every now and then. Oh,
- 1:06:53Speaker 10: right there, the childhood trauma has resurfaced. Like to have
- 1:07:01Speaker 10: healthy debates. Translate that, Steve.
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: Hut, like the argon. That's what that's exactly what mean?
- 1:07:13Speaker 10: And because she been arguing all through her childhood trauma.
- 1:07:17Speaker 10: I like a good argument. I don't say how you
- 1:07:19Speaker 10: have a relationship without an argument. I like a healthy debate.
- 1:07:22Speaker 10: We need to be in here doing something. I like
- 1:07:25Speaker 10: to have healthy debates every now and then. I could
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: tell him that we having fish covered in brown gravy
- 1:07:31Speaker 10: for dinner, and he'll say, I try to that.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: What you want to eat? Matvation? I wish he'd have
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: an opinion, Oh, you want to walk in to go.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: I don't know the fish.
- 1:07:48Speaker 10: Hell we having fish for Oh that's my baby. We
- 1:07:53Speaker 10: having fish because I won't fish. I don't want no fish.

- 1:08:00Speaker 10: I made was fish.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: Here come that healthy debate. She's always warming.
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: Now he's scared of her because if he don't eat
- 1:08:09Speaker 10: this fish, he thinks she gonna cheat on you.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: See, because they neither one of them, out of their
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: therapy sessions met to earth. See what I'm telling you.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: His ex fiance, he's treated to him.
- 1:08:26Speaker 10: I always screamed at him, you know, and all this here,
- 1:08:30Speaker 10: So now guess what now where we're at. Now he
- 1:08:34Speaker 10: gonna eat the brown gravy on the fish. Okay, and
- 1:08:39Speaker 10: then now you mad looking over the heat, look at
- 1:08:41Speaker 10: this punky fish.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: He no good hair.
- 1:08:44Speaker 20: Well, he don't want no gravy on his fish, and
- 1:08:47Speaker 20: he just gonna eat it anyway, just to shut me up,
- 1:08:51Speaker 20: or to throw that fish on it. Then she said,
- 1:08:58Speaker 20: I don't want to make all the decisions.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: I'm also the aggressor in the bedroom. Oh I know
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: you are. I had to initiate. Now he handled his business.
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: That's after he find out it's okay to have sex
- 1:09:11Speaker 10: because he's scared of you. You'd made him eat this
- 1:09:13Speaker 10: brown fish. His stomach in that turning, because he had
- 1:09:16Speaker 10: this brown graveyard on this fish. Now his stomach in
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: that turning. Now you're gonna go over to the bedroom
- 1:09:22Speaker 10: and make love.
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: Girl.
- 1:09:23Speaker 10: I'm in here about to throw up, and you're gonna
- 1:09:28Speaker 10: make me come in do something to you and all this.
- 1:09:30Speaker 10: I don't even want to have hell to eat this fish?
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: All right?

- 1:11:48Speaker 2: don't know how we won't how many things we're gonna need.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: Well I would. I would put a double beds in
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: each room, seven of them down.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: There, Hot Hill Bridge. I do it there every year.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: So it's gonna be fun.
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: You remember the Michigan head coach, the Michigan head.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Coach, Taron Moore, that was fired.
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Well, uh he played uh no contest.
- 1:12:12Speaker 14: He was sentenced to eighteen months probation, eighteen months, but
- 1:12:15Speaker 14: he played. He played no contest to two misdemeanors. Now
- 1:12:18Speaker 14: this is something i't know you could get charged for.
- 1:12:20Speaker 14: Somebody explained to me, what is malicious use of a
- 1:12:23Speaker 14: tele telecommunication device?
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: That's when you call a white woman on your phone.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: He had eighteen months probation for that, for calling the white.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and trespassing because he went to the he went
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: to the ladies apartment.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: White lady do and she holding it. That's trespassed.
- 1:12:51Speaker 14: Now he was facing up to six months, So eighteen
- 1:12:54Speaker 14: months probation, like he got off of.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: But what should we learn from this?
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: What do we learn? He didn't get no.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: One good, no one good one.
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: It's gonna be real obvious.
- 1:13:05Speaker 10: So I don't even white Yeah, come on, say it though,
- 1:13:08Speaker 10: Quit calling these white women check check for the show.
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: Don't go over there and knock on that door.
- 1:13:15Speaker 9: And she told me not.
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: Come on, I don't know what you think gonna have
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: met black as I'm telling you right now, just get
- 1:13:22Speaker 10: this eighteen month probation and ken't sitting yourself fortunate.
- 1:13:29Speaker 12: You don't know any sisters calling wh and knocking on
- 1:13:33Speaker 12: white women door gone.
- 1:13:36Speaker 10: Keep on.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: That's a lesson fun today.
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: That's a lesson for today.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I love it. Thank you, sure, no, thank you, junior,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Thank you junior too. Yeah, coming up at the.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Top, Thank Steve, y'all welcome, coming up at the.
- 1:13:56Speaker 12: Top of the hour, Young woman on social media. Needs
- 1:13:58Speaker 12: some advice. She said, I don't want to lose my family.
- 1:14:01Speaker 12: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:05Speaker 12: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, This is from
- 1:14:11Speaker 12: Amaya on Steve Harvey FM. Amaya says, I've been living
- 1:14:14Speaker 12: with my boyfriend for almost a year now, and my
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: parents have no idea. They're very religious and expect me
- 1:14:20Speaker 12: to be also, so I've kept this part of my
- 1:14:23Speaker 12: life from them. When I tell them, I'm pretty sure
- 1:14:26Speaker 12: they won't approve, especially since he's an atheist. I've already
- 1:14:30Speaker 12: come to terms with the fact that I would choose
- 1:14:33Speaker 12: him if it came down to it, but that doesn't
- 1:14:35Speaker 12: make the idea of disappointing or losing my parents any easier.
- 1:14:39Speaker 12: How can I have the life I want and not
- 1:14:42Speaker 12: lose my family in the process.
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: That's what I'm your family. You're dating a person that
- 1:14:49Speaker 10: that's not a match. You're living with a person and
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: it is the spiritual thing it's called You're just not
- 1:14:55Speaker 10: evenly yoked. You're from a religious background, you're dating an
- 1:14:59Speaker 10: a this How can you possibly think that this can work?
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: How did it happen?
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: You know?
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: What did he say?
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: Right, What what was the conversation you had that and
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: made you know?
- 1:15:16Speaker 10: If you're a believer, when you're talking to an atheist,
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: what can he say that converts you?
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: So have you converted?
- 1:15:26Speaker 11: Now?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: No, she didn't say that all of that.
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: Well, now there has to be some form of what
- 1:15:34Speaker 10: do you call it? Compromise? Yeah, so what's the compromise
- 1:15:40Speaker 10: that you had to make to live with the atheists?
- 1:15:45Speaker 10: What did you have to give up? Because everybody got
- 1:15:48Speaker 10: to give up something?
- 1:15:51Speaker 12: She said her parents are very religious and they expect
- 1:15:55Speaker 12: her to be also, That's what she said.
- 1:15:57Speaker 10: And so I think what she's saying right there is
- 1:16:00Speaker 10: I'm not exactly not only in that am I not
- 1:16:03Speaker 10: very religious? I don't even want to be religious. And
- 1:16:08Speaker 10: I think and I think the compromise has been made.
- 1:16:11Speaker 10: I'm okay living with the person that's an atheist because
- 1:16:14Speaker 10: I'm cool with that. I think that's maybe with that,
- 1:16:17Speaker 10: And so I don't think it's soon. Your parents ain't
- 1:16:20Speaker 10: gonna be happy with it either way at all. No, No,
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: either way.
- 1:16:25Speaker 11: I want to go down the church. Eh, that's where
- 1:16:29Speaker 11: you're going this morning. You're going back.
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: Down that church.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: That's that's their their Sunday discussion, Tommy.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: I want to go to brunch. Why we can't go
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: to brunch getting married? I'm sure, what do they say?
- 1:16:43Speaker 12: What do you take the vow No, I don't know
- 1:16:46Speaker 12: their vowels. That's something good to look up. I don't know,
- 1:16:50Speaker 12: but yeah, I don't know. All right, Yeah, that's that's
- 1:16:53Speaker 12: gonna be a problem for you for sure. Like Steve said,
- 1:16:57Speaker 12: all right, we have time for another one. This is
- 1:16:59Speaker 12: from Nina on Steve Harvey FM. Nina says, yesterday, my
- 1:17:02Speaker 12: boss told me to prepare for putting in some time
- 1:17:05Speaker 12: to work on a project this weekend. I reminded him
- 1:17:08Speaker 12: that I helped out three different weekends in March. To that,
- 1:17:12Speaker 12: he replied that I should be more of a teen
- 1:17:14Speaker 12: player and be willing to pitch in more. Meanwhile, I
- 1:17:17Speaker 12: could name at least three of my coworkers who haven't
- 1:17:20Speaker 12: done a darn thing, but they apparently get a pass
- 1:17:24Speaker 12: because they have kids. I don't want to lose my
- 1:17:27Speaker 12: job over this, but it's clearly not fair and I'm
- 1:17:30Speaker 12: getting sick of it.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: What can I do about it?
- 1:17:32Speaker 12: It feels abusive and like I'm being taken for granted,
- 1:17:36Speaker 12: but no one seems to care enough to do anything.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Why don't you go to the park this weekend?
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: But her boss wants her to come to work.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: Yeah, why don't you go to the park this weekend.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: She's afraid she.
- 1:17:51Speaker 12: Might lose her job. You can't lose your job for that,
- 1:17:55Speaker 12: that's what she wants to know. What can she do
- 1:17:57Speaker 12: about it?
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: You're saying, go to the park.
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: Being discriminated against because you don't have children. That's what
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: she feels.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Abusive.
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: Oh and and you're being abused, she said.
- 1:18:13Speaker 12: It feels abusive. Yeah, and it feels like she's being
- 1:18:17Speaker 12: taken for granted.
- 1:18:18Speaker 10: See once a woman says that to HR about a
- 1:18:23Speaker 10: man that's in a supervisory capacity.
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: I've taken these HR courses every year.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Gonna listen.
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: Listen to me.
- 1:18:34Speaker 13: It's so many ways he can get in trouble. So
- 1:18:38Speaker 13: go to HR and plead her case, is what you're saying,
- 1:18:41Speaker 13: And go to the park. I go to the park first, Right,
- 1:18:47Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:18:48Speaker 12: Coming up, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:18:50Speaker 12: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:18:54Speaker 12: Morning Show. Scientists using as a supercomputer have made a
- 1:19:01Speaker 12: long term prediction about the end of life on Earth.
- 1:19:05Speaker 12: All life on Earth is expected to disappear around the
- 1:19:08Speaker 12: year one billion, twenty and twenty one. Okay, you got that,
- 1:19:14Speaker 12: You got that to so do all you need to
- 1:19:20Speaker 12: do between the year one billion twenty twenty one. The
- 1:19:25Speaker 12: reason isn't war or it's not climate change. Instead, it's
- 1:19:29Speaker 12: because of the sun. As the Sun slowly grows hotter
- 1:19:33Speaker 12: over time, rising temperatures will evaporate the oceans, then the atmosphere,
- 1:19:38Speaker 12: and eventually wipe out even the toughest micro organisms. Humans
- 1:19:43Speaker 12: likely won't last anywhere near that long. Scientists say we've
- 1:19:48Speaker 12: already we're already seeing very early warning signs of those
- 1:19:52Speaker 12: early changes today. But they stress that this is a
- 1:19:55Speaker 12: very slow natural process, not an apocalypse.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: And sure we don't need to panic about.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: Why are you doing this story?
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: You why know.
- 1:20:05Speaker 12: One billion twenty twenty one, that's when the Earth, that's
- 1:20:08Speaker 12: when it's all going to go away.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: You don't want you don't, You don't think you need
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: to know that? Awkward Scientists.
- 1:20:15Speaker 10: Way more people concerned about when the next check is coming? Yes,
- 1:20:22Speaker 10: how they going to be able to get all these
- 1:20:24Speaker 10: groceries and get these bills paid? Ain't nobody would about
- 1:20:28Speaker 10: when this world going in a billion years from.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: A billion years.
- 1:20:33Speaker 12: But that's what scientists do though. Yeah, going up next,
- 1:20:36Speaker 12: we'll play around it. Would you rather? Right after this?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:21:30Speaker 12: all lefties on this show, so no, no, no, no,
- 1:21:33Speaker 12: I'm a writing on a call.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Oh you're right handed? Oh dominant?
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: No, non dominant?
- 1:21:43Speaker 10: Okay, in my hands before I got I got Muslim
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: for its in their culture. A lot of times they
- 1:21:49Speaker 10: don't use your tension. So how are you mass potatoes?
- 1:21:52Speaker 10: Then you don't have mask potato. Why wasn't there eating?
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: Figure out how when you don't use your tens why
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: would they don't mass potatoes.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: How that's a good question. See, that's a good question.
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: You picked the bowl up. You picked the bowl up,
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: and all right, eat soup.
- 1:22:22Speaker 10: But I have eaten with families that don't don't use
- 1:22:24Speaker 10: your tensils meet even quested silk. Okay, it was tense,
- 1:22:30Speaker 10: But I've been in the village where there was no
- 1:22:32Speaker 10: silver ware and we ate goat and rice.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: It was delicious. But Lord, have mercy. I had food
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: all over me.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: You need.
- 1:22:43Speaker 10: Because you know you sit on the ground on this tarp,
- 1:22:46Speaker 10: and they dumped the goat in the middle of the
- 1:22:48Speaker 10: tarp with the rice.
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: It was delicious. Man, I heard on the condor. I
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: had food all over. When I stood up, I was filthy.
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: I looked like a baby had got through eating some gerb.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: This peace all over your mouth?
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Moving on to would you rather smell like garlic or
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: a wet dog for a month?
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: Garlic? Garlic? Man, a wet dog?
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, wet dog.
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: Let me tell you something, you sink.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: You said that with a lot of conviction.
