- 2:10Speaker 7: Steve Harvey got a radio show. I say it every
- 2:13Speaker 7: day because God been good to me. God has done
- 2:16Speaker 7: some things in my life that's truly been just amazing.
- 2:20Speaker 7: It really amazing. Ain't even really the word. They don't
- 2:23Speaker 7: really have a word for what He's done for me.
- 2:25Speaker 7: I'm just out of superlatives. That's why I say it
- 2:28Speaker 7: every day. Steve Harvey got a radio show because God
- 2:31Speaker 7: is in a blessing business.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah he is. God.
- 2:34Speaker 7: God can help you turn your life around. Did you
- 2:37Speaker 7: hear me? God can help you turn your life around.
- 2:41Speaker 7: Whatever you're going through. God has an answer for it.
- 2:44Speaker 6: See.
- 2:44Speaker 7: But it's to going through to get some store, ain't it?
- 2:47Speaker 7: Because I was having a moment yesterday and I set
- 2:50Speaker 7: my wife down. I said, Babe, I just need to
- 2:51Speaker 7: talk to you. Going through a little bit right now.
- 2:54Speaker 7: I just wanted to share which I'm a little down
- 2:56Speaker 7: right now. And my wife reminded me. She just reminded me, See,
- 3:01Speaker 7: this is what a man, this is what a good
- 3:04Speaker 7: mate does. A good mate reminds you just of things
- 3:09Speaker 7: that sometimes you forget when you get off track. Because
- 3:13Speaker 7: you know, I consider myself a motivational type person. I
- 3:18Speaker 7: try to listen to people and then give them something
- 3:21Speaker 7: I've learned along the way on this journey I've been on.
- 3:23Speaker 7: I try to give a person a takeaway. But even
- 3:26Speaker 7: being that person, sometimes I get off track myself. I
- 3:30Speaker 7: get a little low sometimes, you know, I get a
- 3:33Speaker 7: little down. Sometimes I sometimes I forget some of the stuff.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I say. It ain't that I forget it. I guess
- 3:41Speaker 2: I just get.
- 3:41Speaker 7: Caught up in the grind of doing it, and sometimes
- 3:45Speaker 7: I get I get a little off course and I
- 3:48Speaker 7: forget some of the things that my wife or a
- 3:51Speaker 7: mate can be good.
- 3:53Speaker 2: For you to remind you. And she just says, Steve,
- 3:56Speaker 2: God got us.
- 3:59Speaker 7: She said, have you notice that every time you get
- 4:01Speaker 7: in a spot, and she say, and I know how
- 4:04Speaker 7: you must feel, because you're out here working and you keep.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Turning around and.
- 4:10Speaker 7: Old stuff keep popping up, and you get a call
- 4:13Speaker 7: from your account and hear this and went wrong and
- 4:16Speaker 7: that then when you study trying to fix it.
- 4:18Speaker 2: But you steady going, wold man, what is this? She say?
- 4:21Speaker 2: But you ever notice he.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Always always, no matter what, provide a way, and he
- 4:27Speaker 7: ain't ever too late.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Oh, you might be going. The deadline is approaching.
- 4:31Speaker 7: The deadline can come and pass, but then they have
- 4:35Speaker 7: a grace period for you.
- 4:37Speaker 2: And then sometimes man.
- 4:38Speaker 7: It's just you go down there after the grace period
- 4:40Speaker 7: and they take the payment anyway, and you're good anyway.
- 4:44Speaker 7: But see, ain't that God bringing you through it. It
- 4:47Speaker 7: may not be when you want it, but he right
- 4:49Speaker 7: on time. Jazz before you get put out, jazz, before
- 4:53Speaker 7: they turn. Maybe they cut the lights off, but you
- 4:55Speaker 7: get it back ones faux company come or just before
- 4:58Speaker 7: the weekend, get here. See, he always comes through for you.
- 5:03Speaker 7: And she had to remind me of that what you
- 5:06Speaker 7: going through is necessary. Look, circumstance and hardships and pitfalls
- 5:12Speaker 7: are always untimely.
- 5:14Speaker 2: If you keep the law of attraction in play.
- 5:17Speaker 7: If you keep believing that, that's that He gonna see
- 5:20Speaker 7: you through this, just like he do when you don't
- 5:22Speaker 7: believe it.
- 5:23Speaker 2: That's what the old part is though, ain't it.
- 5:27Speaker 7: Ain't God brought you through even when you didn't really
- 5:30Speaker 7: have the faith to say he was gonna bring you through.
- 5:33Speaker 7: But because of grace and mercy he brought you through anyway.
- 5:36Speaker 7: But because you forgot to thank him, or you didn't
- 5:40Speaker 7: pay attention through to come through, you just was telling people, Oh, man,
- 5:44Speaker 7: if you the same. It was so jacked up. Man,
- 5:46Speaker 7: I was so turned up. I ain't know what I
- 5:48Speaker 7: was gonna do. I almost got put out. I was
- 5:51Speaker 7: gonna see key word almost, And you forgot that part
- 5:54Speaker 7: right there, and then I was it looked like I wan man.
- 5:57Speaker 7: And then and it seemed like every month I go
- 5:59Speaker 7: through this same thing and then down.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Then somebody ought to just say did you pay it? Yeah?
- 6:04Speaker 2: I paid it? Did you get put out?
- 6:06Speaker 8: Now?
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm cool?
- 6:07Speaker 7: See See, you need somebody on your shoulder to say
- 6:10Speaker 7: that to you, and then you need somebody to come
- 6:13Speaker 7: right behind him and go, man, ain't God good?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Really? Man? That's how this works.
- 6:20Speaker 7: See you keep getting in situations, but He keep getting
- 6:23Speaker 7: you out.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Now if you jump, look, listen to me, hold on,
- 6:26Speaker 2: hold on.
- 6:27Speaker 7: Let's say you in a frying pad in the skillet
- 6:30Speaker 7: and the ail is up and you in that frying
- 6:32Speaker 7: and you uncomfortable being fried God somehow. Or let's just
- 6:38Speaker 7: say you managed to get out of the hot grease
- 6:42Speaker 7: in the frying pan, and you standing there next to
- 6:44Speaker 7: the skillet looking at the fire, continue to heat the grease,
- 6:48Speaker 7: you get out, and then for some unexplainable reason, you
- 6:53Speaker 7: dives right on back in there. Ain't that how we
- 6:57Speaker 7: usually do it? I'm just asking God, get you away
- 7:01Speaker 7: from the man you've been asking to get away from.
- 7:04Speaker 7: Then you go right back over there and stars.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Seeing even again. It's amazing how many times God get
- 7:12Speaker 2: us out the fire and we walked right back in there.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Ain't it amazing?
- 7:16Speaker 9: Man?
- 7:17Speaker 7: I mean, really, man, see this how I break life
- 7:20Speaker 7: down for me so I don't get over here stuck on,
- 7:23Speaker 7: stupid with myself and then get to doing something ignorant
- 7:25Speaker 7: like blaming God when really, man, God has given us,
- 7:29Speaker 7: as human beings, the power of decision, and we all
- 7:31Speaker 7: make decisions.
- 7:33Speaker 2: How many times? Man? See? Sometimes it's a blessing in
- 7:35Speaker 2: getting locked up.
- 7:37Speaker 7: You can ask a lot of cats I know, man
- 7:38Speaker 7: to tell you it was a blessing for me, man,
- 7:40Speaker 7: because I was just headed the wrong way, steady, but
- 7:43Speaker 7: he locked me up, set me down, made me miss
- 7:46Speaker 7: my family. Being out here being a free man, made
- 7:50Speaker 7: me realize that my family was important.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Made me.
- 7:53Speaker 7: Man, really see this girl for what she was. When
- 7:56Speaker 7: I get out, Man, I'm on the straight and narrow.
- 7:59Speaker 7: Well then when you're get out though, See you can't
- 8:01Speaker 7: be talking about no oh man, I can't find no job.
- 8:05Speaker 7: Now I'm gonna go and do what I gotta do. No, no, no, no, no, partner,
- 8:08Speaker 7: you got to do now what you're supposed to do.
- 8:11Speaker 7: See that don't do what you gotta do got you
- 8:13Speaker 7: in trouble in the first place. See everybody, see see
- 8:16Speaker 7: the hood got a lot of ignorant rules. We done
- 8:18Speaker 7: create it.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I gotta do what I gotta do. I gotta feed
- 8:21Speaker 2: my family. Well, the only reason you gotta do what
- 8:23Speaker 2: you gotta do is because you didn't do what you
- 8:25Speaker 2: were supposed to do. See if you just went on
- 8:27Speaker 2: to school like you Mama kept telling you.
- 8:31Speaker 7: Ah, Man, I was watching forty eight hours yesterday and
- 8:33Speaker 7: the dude named Nesto was on that and Nesto Latino
- 8:37Speaker 7: dude said, Man, my mother told me quit hanging with
- 8:39Speaker 7: these guys.
- 8:40Speaker 2: They were gonna nothing but trouble. I should have listened
- 8:43Speaker 2: to her. He doing thirty years right now. You can't
- 8:47Speaker 2: blame God. That's why I talk to myself this way,
- 8:50Speaker 2: so I don't get stupid and start shifting to blame
- 8:53Speaker 2: the wrong way when it's really on me. How many times.
- 8:56Speaker 7: Has God got you out of something and you walk
- 8:59Speaker 7: right back into it? Man, why don't you take these
- 9:02Speaker 7: blessings God give you and go on about your business.
- 9:05Speaker 7: That'd be the best way to do it, don't you
- 9:07Speaker 7: think That's what I think? So I thank God my
- 9:12Speaker 7: wife for reminding me that God got us anyway, that
- 9:15Speaker 7: God gonna pull you through anyway.
- 9:18Speaker 9: That.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Have you noticed, Steve, we ain't lost a beat.
- 9:21Speaker 10: Oh.
- 9:21Speaker 7: I know it's hard out here, but really you ain't
- 9:23Speaker 7: lost a beat. You still moving forward, You still dressing nice,
- 9:28Speaker 7: You still look good when you come into that job.
- 9:31Speaker 7: Everybody don't got to know you. Your house is in
- 9:34Speaker 7: bad shape, and all that God got you. Man, if
- 9:37Speaker 7: you just hold your head up, man, quit complaining all
- 9:40Speaker 7: the time bout what you ain't got, And as in
- 9:43Speaker 7: words of my daddy, Slick Harvey, stop talking about what
- 9:46Speaker 7: you ain't got and take a good look at what
- 9:48Speaker 7: you do.
- 9:48Speaker 2: God.
- 9:48Speaker 7: That's improper grammar, but that always stuck with me and
- 9:51Speaker 7: maybe it'll stick with you.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Quit talk about and looking at what you ain't God,
- 9:55Speaker 2: take a good look at what you do. God.
- 9:57Speaker 11: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, you know what as expected.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I don't.
- 10:12Speaker 7: I don't know how to put this to you today,
- 10:15Speaker 7: that God Almighty, that it just ain't.
- 10:19Speaker 2: No words for it.
- 10:21Speaker 7: He just does it over and over and over again
- 10:25Speaker 7: to us, getting to the point where, see, you think
- 10:27Speaker 7: it's just regular, like it's normal. But I'm telling you
- 10:32Speaker 7: the fact that he raises that sun up every day,
- 10:35Speaker 7: sets it in the west every evening, controls the wind
- 10:39Speaker 7: and the weather. The fact that he gave you life again,
- 10:43Speaker 7: that you do not have control over every single breath
- 10:46Speaker 7: you take and how long you'll be breathing. The fact
- 10:49Speaker 7: that he's done it, done it again is nothing short
- 10:52Speaker 7: of miraculous. And this every day, a daily miracle occurs.
- 10:58Speaker 7: But because it occurs every day, we just set up
- 11:01Speaker 7: here a ticket for Granted, I'm not doing that. I'm
- 11:05Speaker 7: thanking him for today, for breathing, for air, for health,
- 11:11Speaker 7: for strength, for my position, for where I am, thank
- 11:15Speaker 7: God for I ain't where I was. Thank God even
- 11:18Speaker 7: kept me, strengthening me. All of that. That's called grantitude.
- 11:23Speaker 6: Man.
- 11:23Speaker 2: We need to get with that. We tripping Steve.
- 11:26Speaker 7: Harvey Morning Show, Charlie Strawberry, Color for Real, Mississippi, Monica Junior,
- 11:34Speaker 7: and the Legend of Nephew Tommy. The reason I don't
- 11:38Speaker 7: say the Legend of Steve Harvey is because it's not
- 11:42Speaker 7: for me to say. And after watching Eddie Murphy's Netflix documentary,
- 11:51Speaker 7: I'm gonna go somewhere and sit down. Ladies, give me
- 11:54Speaker 7: Juli's on your mind.
- 11:58Speaker 12: Let me ask you this man, that question. How do
- 12:01Speaker 12: you keep your walk with God vibrant in your life?
- 12:04Speaker 7: Well, I'm gonna be honest with you. You you you
- 12:08Speaker 7: don't have a real honest conversation.
- 12:10Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 2: The way I keep my walk vibrant is I stay
- 12:14Speaker 2: in something. It's all life be life in me.
- 12:18Speaker 8: Man.
- 12:18Speaker 7: I don't know what it is, but you know, I
- 12:20Speaker 7: guess to whom much is given, much is required them requirements.
- 12:25Speaker 7: Just keep my walk vibrant. I'm in constant need of God.
- 12:31Speaker 7: I ain't got no time to drift off, because if
- 12:34Speaker 7: I drift off, man, it seems like the f See
- 12:39Speaker 7: here's what's killing me. The forces of evil out there
- 12:43Speaker 7: is so big today that if you don't stay vibrant
- 12:46Speaker 7: with God, life gonna get vibrant with you. So just
- 12:51Speaker 7: life itself keeps me vibrant with God, because there's always
- 12:54Speaker 7: something going on.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Man.
- 12:56Speaker 7: The haters, the naysay, hey, man, you can be just

- 14:38Speaker 6: A lot of us wouldn't imagine getting turned away from
- 14:41Speaker 6: the church. This title is you can't come back to
- 14:44Speaker 6: the church, and we got to start standing on this
- 14:47Speaker 6: on business. You can't come back to the church. You
- 14:49Speaker 6: gotta start putting them out. All your passes out there.
- 14:52Speaker 6: If they ain't worth nothing, put them out. You can't
- 14:54Speaker 6: come back to the church. What yeah, man, put them out?
- 14:58Speaker 6: Put them out?
- 14:59Speaker 7: What this?
- 15:00Speaker 1: How you know what they're worth?

- 15:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:10Speaker 6: We Why is we just overloading this stuff with all
- 15:13Speaker 6: these sinners and just these people that just ain't worth nothing,
- 15:16Speaker 6: just a mess. You're like, we can't fix it. We
- 15:19Speaker 6: can't fix everybody, all right, So again, don't come back
- 15:23Speaker 6: to the church.
- 15:23Speaker 11: Okay, the Lord is that no.
- 15:29Speaker 6: But but but whenever I do get up there, they
- 15:30Speaker 6: let me work that gate, y'all.
- 15:33Speaker 2: If I start working that ja whoa, whoa, Let you
- 15:38Speaker 2: work together.
- 15:39Speaker 7: Yeah, you're gonna be You're gonna be so far from
- 15:45Speaker 7: that gate.
- 15:48Speaker 6: You gonna be all in the back. Jesus, you ain't

- 17:26Speaker 10: with the church.
- 17:27Speaker 6: Well, what we're trying to do is show a good
- 17:29Speaker 6: example to the youth that we got there.
- 17:32Speaker 10: Okay, you can show a good example by me being there,
- 17:34Speaker 10: paying my tithes and offering.
- 17:36Speaker 6: Well, that's another thing that's been brought down attention that
- 17:39Speaker 6: that we're gonna be calling a lot of members about it.
- 17:41Speaker 6: People not paying the tithe and where they fold.
- 17:44Speaker 10: I pay my task. I don't know. I don't know
- 17:46Speaker 10: who told you that, Deacon Bards. I don't even know,
- 17:49Speaker 10: first of all, who you are. And I'm not trying
- 17:51Speaker 10: to be mean to you, and I don't I don't
- 17:53Speaker 10: even understand why you how you even got my phone number.

- 38:02Speaker 11: one thousand dollars. Close to one thousand dollars, that's according Yeah, yeah,
- 38:06Speaker 11: that's according to new research. Yep, we're they're including food, drinks,
- 38:11Speaker 11: holiday decres and travel. It comes to roughly about nine
- 38:14Speaker 11: hundred and fifty two dollars, and we rounded up to
- 38:17Speaker 11: one thousand, of course. So here's the question. Are you
- 38:20Speaker 11: hosting Thanksgiving this year for how many people?
- 38:23Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 38:23Speaker 11: Yeah, so about a thousand dollars?
- 38:27Speaker 1: That is that murder about?
- 38:28Speaker 2: Correct? What thirty five people? I'm about thirty five?
- 38:33Speaker 1: You're gonna have thirty five people at your house?
- 38:34Speaker 13: Tommy thirty five?
- 38:37Speaker 2: Well, I got the ad junior because he said he
- 38:39Speaker 2: might come through that.
- 38:40Speaker 12: I have had to be over there, but I know
- 38:42Speaker 12: why I'm going to be over there. But we're not
- 38:44Speaker 12: doing thirty five No, no, no, And we don't spend
- 38:47Speaker 12: a thousand. Our Thanksgiving is about three city nobody.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Dollars.
- 38:55Speaker 12: Yeah, because you know, we cut people off. You started
- 38:57Speaker 12: by to people. We cut you off by necessity.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Who needs you know?
- 39:00Speaker 12: That's mostly the older people keep your kids at home
- 39:03Speaker 12: and you stay at home. Just the people over forty
- 39:06Speaker 12: and up.
- 39:06Speaker 2: That's it.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Oh so you don't have a kids table, none of that.
- 39:10Speaker 13: We were grown over here. We don't have kids table.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Everybody got kids table, Junior. Yeah, we have grown over here.
- 39:17Speaker 1: So Steef, you're you're hosting as well?
- 39:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:19Speaker 11: Yeah, a thousand dollars about accurate. We lowballing you.
- 39:24Speaker 2: I don't know. We wavet of this conversation stuff.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot of money. Groceries are hot. You
- 39:32Speaker 1: see me scratching? Yes, are you?
- 39:35Speaker 2: It's your money?
- 39:36Speaker 11: Yeah, So Junior said about three hundred and fifty dollars.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Tommy's having thirty five people. So what's some workmen you're Tommy? Yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 1: I was said, what are you serving?
- 39:49Speaker 2: You got to have them turkeys about two three of them.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a beast aid those.
- 39:54Speaker 2: He can fry some turkey. You got to have that dress.
- 39:57Speaker 6: My mother makes seafood dress because you know, eat don't
- 40:00Speaker 6: eat me, my sister, don't eat me. So seafood dressing
- 40:02Speaker 6: is the bomb. Seafood dressing is coming Jackie Auntie. She
- 40:07Speaker 6: made the dressing. I think, yeah, I think she's past
- 40:12Speaker 6: making the dressing. Time.
- 40:14Speaker 2: I think I can't say that. Let me. I just
- 40:16Speaker 2: thank you. I know, I know thinking ain't your thing.
- 40:19Speaker 7: I know thinking, But just just just listen to me, ma'am.
- 40:25Speaker 7: Say nothing about Jackie aunt dressing. Man, eat your mama's
- 40:30Speaker 7: seafood dressing.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Just don't touch it.
- 40:34Speaker 2: But don't say nothing else Jackie.
- 40:37Speaker 7: Hey, Hey, when you walking around the buffet and you
- 40:40Speaker 7: see anybody touch your dish, that's a good sign.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it.
- 40:45Speaker 1: So everybody's your ain't moving.
- 40:47Speaker 6: If your dish ain't moving, everybody and they whispering about it.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Trust me.
- 40:51Speaker 7: I had an aunt that used to love. She thought
- 40:54Speaker 7: her yellow mold was the bomb. But she made it
- 40:58Speaker 7: like a white yellow and with little red chunks of
- 41:01Speaker 7: stuff in it. So it was her version of a fruitcake.
- 41:05Speaker 7: It was the worst.
- 41:11Speaker 11: Thirty four minutes after the hour, Eddie Murphy talked about
- 41:14Speaker 11: the cancel culture and he might go back to stand up.
- 41:17Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this.
- 41:19Speaker 14: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:27Speaker 11: During an interview with Extra and the Hollywood Reporter, Eddie
- 41:31Speaker 11: Murphy talked about cancel culture. He says, I can't think
- 41:35Speaker 11: of a comedian that said a joke that made them
- 41:37Speaker 11: get canceled. I feel like that whole canceled thing was
- 41:41Speaker 11: just a moment in time where people were like, comics
- 41:43Speaker 11: have to be careful what they say. Eddie also said
- 41:47Speaker 11: that he might return to stand up. I'll take a listen.
- 41:50Speaker 9: I've seen a couple of comedians I've seen got a
- 41:53Speaker 9: funny dah. I saw him up, he was doing stand
- 41:56Speaker 9: up and he fell out on the stage. So comics
- 41:58Speaker 9: was falling out. I was like, but that's all past now,
- 42:04Speaker 9: and now I'm open to it again. And if it
- 42:06Speaker 9: ever struck me that I could have some fun doing.
- 42:09Speaker 2: It, I get up there and do it again. That's
- 42:12Speaker 2: just have to.
- 42:13Speaker 1: One day wake up and be like this.
- 42:14Speaker 2: It seems like a fun thing to do.
- 42:16Speaker 11: Okay, all right, So Tommy and Junior, you guys are
- 42:20Speaker 11: out almost every week. What do you think I would
- 42:23Speaker 11: love to cancel cancel culture and things.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Are we past that?
- 42:29Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 42:29Speaker 1: I mean you're still doing stand up.
- 42:31Speaker 6: We're still walking that line. Were still walking that the
- 42:34Speaker 6: in line with this whole cancel thing. We still we
- 42:36Speaker 6: still we're still not touching on certain subjects. So let's
- 42:41Speaker 6: trust me. There's still some subjects out there we are
- 42:44Speaker 6: you are censoring Oh yeah, definitely.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I can't mess up nothing. I can't. I got TV show.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I ain't messing up nothing.
- 42:52Speaker 13: I'm not since myself. I'm just not talking about that.
- 42:54Speaker 13: Everything else. I'm live. I'm going live on my life.
- 42:59Speaker 7: I think counsel culture is still real. Me personally, I think, well, no,
- 43:07Speaker 7: it's not that I disagree with Eddie. I understand where
- 43:10Speaker 7: he coming from from from hisself. But because Eddie's not
- 43:14Speaker 7: tied to anything that you can counsel what you're gonna
- 43:17Speaker 7: counsel Eddie doing.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Look, so he has a different perspective.
- 43:22Speaker 7: Now, if there's a comedian today who is on TV,
- 43:27Speaker 7: on radio doing movies that says any of the stuff
- 43:32Speaker 7: that Dave Chapelle said in his two Netflix specials.
- 43:37Speaker 2: You're gone, You're Gone.
- 43:40Speaker 7: So, but I agree with what Eddie's saying is I
- 43:44Speaker 7: ain't heard the comedian say nothing that he should be
- 43:48Speaker 7: counseled for. I ain't heard nothing that you should be
- 43:52Speaker 7: counseled for.
- 43:54Speaker 1: So do you think so you're saying that? Isn't it?
- 43:58Speaker 8: Though?
- 43:58Speaker 3: With cancel culture, you can be ansel regardless of if
- 44:03Speaker 3: you have a sponsored deal.
- 44:05Speaker 1: You know, if you're on teav Yes, absolutely so you
- 44:08Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, you can get canceled altogether. And people,
- 44:12Speaker 1: if you.
- 44:13Speaker 7: Have right, if you have anything that's sponsorship driven, you
- 44:19Speaker 7: are in the lane of the councel culture.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Now, if you're not sponsorship.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Driven that what he said.
- 44:28Speaker 2: If you're not, Tommy can go out here and say
- 44:31Speaker 2: what he wants to exactly right.
- 44:33Speaker 1: And so do you. So my question is, so.
- 44:35Speaker 3: With you forget sometimes we have to remind you every minute,
- 44:41Speaker 3: but Tommy remind him every now. But is there What
- 44:46Speaker 3: I'm saying is if you don't have that, you could
- 44:49Speaker 3: be a big time comedian star and not have these
- 44:52Speaker 3: network deals. You could still be canceled. Correct.
- 44:58Speaker 7: James Chappelle can't be canceled. Bill Burr can't be canceled.
- 45:05Speaker 7: That great stand ups. Yeah, but they can stay. They
- 45:10Speaker 7: say whatever they want to say. They can't be canceled
- 45:12Speaker 7: because they're subscription based, not sponsorship based.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Can cancel you.
- 45:20Speaker 3: What I'm saying is people, not what I'm saying is people,
- 45:24Speaker 3: your audience can cancel you.
- 45:26Speaker 2: I understand what you're saying.
- 45:28Speaker 1: That's what I'm right.
- 45:29Speaker 7: But but but but but who has had that happen?
- 45:33Speaker 7: Everybody everybody has had everybody has had and a particular
- 45:38Speaker 7: audience that has been mad as something you said. I
- 45:40Speaker 7: got in trouble before with little people I got. I
- 45:43Speaker 7: got in trouble with that studio, with Asian people before.
- 45:50Speaker 7: I've been in trouble with everybody.
- 45:52Speaker 6: He got interpret with Builder Bell's sponsor.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Everybody. It's everybody, Tommy, don't we get to check out.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Eddie mur Shut up?
- 46:09Speaker 11: Netflix special? Coming up next, it is the Nephew Frank
- 46:14Speaker 11: phone call for today. Right after this, you're listening to
- 46:19Speaker 11: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 46:27Speaker 11: Right about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for
- 46:30Speaker 11: today and the subject is am I marrying a man
- 46:34Speaker 11: or a child?
- 46:36Speaker 1: No? Which is the more?
- 46:41Speaker 2: Let me just get in here.
- 46:42Speaker 7: Probably don't need to marry No shore, We'll get in.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Yes, do what it's all about? Coming up?
- 46:52Speaker 11: Yeah, but right now the nephew is here standing by. Well,
- 46:56Speaker 11: you're here now with today's Frank phone called what you
- 46:58Speaker 11: got for his?
- 46:59Speaker 2: Neph got it for you?
- 47:00Speaker 6: This right here is uh, you ain't married. You are
- 47:04Speaker 6: not married now. You think you got married so many
- 47:08Speaker 6: years ago. You think you got married, But that particular
- 47:11Speaker 6: pastor was not a past, he did not have all
- 47:14Speaker 6: the credential.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Let's go get doll.
- 47:18Speaker 17: Hello, I'm trying to reach Brian. Yeah, how you doing, Brian?
- 47:21Speaker 17: My name is Daniel. Wanted to give you a call today.
- 47:24Speaker 17: You got a minute? Yeah, okay, listen. You're you're Brian,
- 47:30Speaker 17: Brian right, you're married to h to Althea. Yeah. Hello, hello, yeah,
- 47:36Speaker 17: I mean yeah.
- 47:36Speaker 8: That's that's me.
- 47:37Speaker 15: That's my wife.
- 47:38Speaker 17: Yeah, okay, got a question for you. How long have
- 47:42Speaker 17: you guys been married?
- 47:43Speaker 8: Going on nine years now, we've been married? Now, who
- 47:46Speaker 8: is it?
- 47:47Speaker 17: My name is Daniel. Were you were you guys married
- 47:51Speaker 17: a Greater New Missionary Baptist Church in the Sea.
- 47:56Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, yep, yep, that's the name of that church. Yeah,
- 47:58Speaker 15: great by Yeah that's right. Why what's going on? What's
- 48:03Speaker 15: asked me on these questions?
- 48:03Speaker 17: Fus? Okay, do you remember the minister that officiated your
- 48:08Speaker 17: actual wedding ceremony?
- 48:10Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 48:13Speaker 17: Right, yeah, okay, I got the right person. I wanted
- 48:15Speaker 17: to make sure I had the right person, Brian. So
- 48:18Speaker 17: I'm I'm sorry if it seemed a little weird to you. Here.
- 48:21Speaker 17: Here's what's going on. We've just come up with a
- 48:24Speaker 17: new discovery A lot of information that reverend none of
- 48:29Speaker 17: his credentials are true. Everything is false. He's not a
- 48:34Speaker 17: minister at all, he never was a minister, and every
- 48:38Speaker 17: single wedding ceremony that he officiated is basically null and void. So,
- 48:45Speaker 17: and I hate to be the bearer of bad news,
- 48:47Speaker 17: but you and al Thea, even though you think you've
- 48:51Speaker 17: been married for nine years, you guys are not married
- 48:54Speaker 17: at all.
- 48:55Speaker 15: No, no, no, no, that that you gotta have the
- 48:57Speaker 15: wrong person, because me and that we had got married
- 49:00Speaker 15: by nine years ago.
- 49:01Speaker 17: And what I'm telling you is he never was ordained.
- 49:10Speaker 17: He's never been an ordained minister. He's not a minister
- 49:13Speaker 17: at all. So when he performed this ceremony, your a
- 49:16Speaker 17: wedding ceremony, he had no right to be doing that.
- 49:19Speaker 17: You guys are not are not married. You know, you
- 49:22Speaker 17: guys have been living in sin for nine years.
- 49:24Speaker 15: Hold on, hold on that.
- 49:26Speaker 8: Let me tell you something. I ain't been living in offense.
- 49:28Speaker 8: Me and my wife we have been married for nine years.
- 49:31Speaker 8: And dead man he's a preacher. I'm telling you he's
- 49:33Speaker 8: a preacher.
- 49:34Speaker 15: Last Funday, Sir.
- 49:36Speaker 17: As of today, he has no right to be in
- 49:39Speaker 17: anybody's pull pit. He has no right to be officiating,
- 49:42Speaker 17: whether it's weddings or funerals, no matter what it is,
- 49:45Speaker 17: christenings for children. He's not allowed to do that. And
- 49:48Speaker 17: we have officially stopped him from doing anything serving under
- 49:54Speaker 17: as being a pastor or a minister. We have stopped
- 49:57Speaker 17: at But what I want you to know is that
- 49:59Speaker 17: you have been being in sin and you don't. We
- 50:03Speaker 17: want to try and get you guys married as soon
- 50:05Speaker 17: as possible, so you're not living in sin.
- 50:07Speaker 8: Oh no, dog, I have been living in those sin.
- 50:10Speaker 8: I have been married for nine years. This woman shit
- 50:13Speaker 8: have been taking care of me and my kids for
- 50:15Speaker 8: the past nine Wait, wait a minute minute.
- 50:17Speaker 17: You guys have children.
- 50:20Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, we got two kids, two beautiful kids.
- 50:23Speaker 17: Okay, then those kids are bastards.
- 50:25Speaker 15: Hold on, hold on, let me tell you something. My
- 50:27Speaker 15: kids ain't no baskets. What about your kids?
- 50:29Speaker 8: Your kids ambassors, No.
- 50:30Speaker 17: Sir, my kids were born in wedlock. Your kids have
- 50:33Speaker 17: been born out.
- 50:35Speaker 8: I'm telling you that man did my service and he
- 50:39Speaker 8: is a preacher. He's a man after God's own heart himself.
- 50:43Speaker 8: He hasn't done everything that he could have for me
- 50:45Speaker 8: and my family.
- 50:46Speaker 17: He is a preacher, Sir. I know it's hard for
- 50:50Speaker 17: you to to swallow the truth, but I want you
- 50:52Speaker 17: to know, and I need you to be able to
- 50:54Speaker 17: tell our theater you guys are not married and not
- 50:56Speaker 17: as of right now.
- 50:57Speaker 8: No, no, okay, so on now, back in the older days,
- 51:03Speaker 8: but before all these all these colleges and stuff came
- 51:06Speaker 8: came about, you telling me that their men baking old days,
- 51:09Speaker 8: that they wasn't no preachers, that they wasn't men after
- 51:12Speaker 8: the colu Is that what you're saying to me?
- 51:15Speaker 17: What are you? What are you? What are you? What
- 51:16Speaker 17: are you getting at? Sir?
- 51:18Speaker 15: What I'm trying to say is back in the older day,
- 51:20Speaker 15: baking the twenties and thirties, they didn't have all these
- 51:22Speaker 15: colleges and all these degrees and stuff like these new
- 51:24Speaker 15: preachers got these days, that man now he was from
- 51:27Speaker 15: back then, and God called them and that's what they
- 51:30Speaker 15: went on too. And all them people that they married
- 51:33Speaker 15: back then, they did the same thing today. You don't
- 51:36Speaker 15: need no degree to say that you're a preacher. You
- 51:38Speaker 15: don't need no life to say you're a preacher. Me
- 51:40Speaker 15: and my wife we've been married for nine years.
- 51:42Speaker 8: My kids have been born any wedlock. We were married
- 51:46Speaker 8: we were married by reverend, My friends and family day
- 51:49Speaker 8: was all.
- 51:49Speaker 17: There, sir. The bottom line is that you have been
- 51:52Speaker 17: living in sin because you have not been married with
- 51:55Speaker 17: your wife for the last nine years. And your kids,
- 51:58Speaker 17: I hate to say it, your he's a bastards now
- 52:01Speaker 17: an't on now?
- 52:02Speaker 8: I've bene told you.
- 52:03Speaker 15: Don't say nothing else about my kids saying I ain't
- 52:05Speaker 15: no custom.
- 52:06Speaker 8: But don't push me. My kids ain't no bassard. You
- 52:09Speaker 8: understand me. You won't get me up, sir.
- 52:11Speaker 17: I'm trying to give you the truth and try to
- 52:13Speaker 17: get you in here and get you married so you
- 52:14Speaker 17: will not be living in sin any more than what
- 52:16Speaker 17: you are.
- 52:17Speaker 8: I'm living in those sins. Look now, you gonna make
- 52:21Speaker 8: me whoop your ass. You understand me and my wife
- 52:24Speaker 8: we have been married for nine years. Don't sit up
- 52:27Speaker 8: here in came me talking about that. We ain't mad
- 52:29Speaker 8: that man ain't no fature. You understand.
- 52:32Speaker 17: I get off my phone.
- 52:33Speaker 8: But you that's my wife. Those are my kids. They
- 52:36Speaker 8: have been born in wedlocks. You understand sir.
- 52:39Speaker 17: Sir. I just wanted to call and give you the
- 52:42Speaker 17: information so that you could probably stop living in sin.
- 52:44Speaker 17: That's all I wanted to do.
- 52:45Speaker 8: I ain't living in those sins. That's what I just
- 52:47Speaker 8: told you. You ain't hear me. I ain't living in those
- 52:49Speaker 8: sin Nigga. You the one that's living up in some sin. Now,
- 52:52Speaker 8: you ain't got nothing necessary to me. That man that
- 52:54Speaker 8: married us nine years ago. They get your ass off
- 52:57Speaker 8: my phone.
- 53:00Speaker 17: One more thing, one more thing I'd like to say.
- 53:02Speaker 8: You ain't got nothing else to say to me. You
- 53:04Speaker 8: ain't get your ass off my am phone. Now do
- 53:07Speaker 8: you understand me? I ain't got time for this policy, sir.
- 53:10Speaker 17: Can I say one more thing?
- 53:12Speaker 8: What you gotta say to me?
- 53:13Speaker 16: Now?
- 53:13Speaker 17: I just wanted to let you know that this is
- 53:15Speaker 17: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Show. Your wife

- 53:50Speaker 6: You ain't man, I don't know if I could be
- 53:54Speaker 6: here and stupid. But I'm gonna try again tomorrow. You

- 56:51Speaker 11: Am I marrying a man or a child? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:55Speaker 11: I'm getting married in eight months, and I can't help
- 56:58Speaker 11: but think that I'm marrying a little boy instead of
- 57:00Speaker 11: a man. We are both twenty six years old, and
- 57:03Speaker 11: although he handles business well in public, at home, he
- 57:07Speaker 11: doesn't help me do anything. I grew up in a
- 57:10Speaker 11: home with both of my parents, and they were partners
- 57:12Speaker 11: that helped each other do everything. My dad cooked clean,
- 57:16Speaker 11: went to all of my activities at school, and worked
- 57:19Speaker 11: a part time job so I could go to college.
- 57:21Speaker 11: My fiance was raised by his mom and his grandmom.
- 57:25Speaker 11: He was catered to his entire life. His mom even
- 57:29Speaker 11: bought most of his clothes until he and I got
- 57:31Speaker 11: engaged and I told her I could help him pick
- 57:34Speaker 11: out his clothes. Now, luckily his mother. His mom has
- 57:38Speaker 11: great style and he was always dressed nicely. His grandma
- 57:42Speaker 11: did all of the cooking, so he can barely make
- 57:44Speaker 11: his own sandwich. His mom even joked that if I
- 57:47Speaker 11: didn't start spoiling him, they would come over and do
- 57:50Speaker 11: it for me. I told his mom that I didn't
- 57:53Speaker 11: find that funny at all. My fiance moved in with
- 57:56Speaker 11: me a few weeks ago, and that's when I noticed
- 57:59Speaker 11: how needy he is. He doesn't want to learn how
- 58:02Speaker 11: to cook, and when I asked him to sort his
- 58:04Speaker 11: clothes for the laundry, he didn't know that whites don't
- 58:08Speaker 11: go on the washer with darks. He often talks about
- 58:11Speaker 11: us having children, but I can't imagine having to take
- 58:15Speaker 11: care of children while I'm raising a grown man. I
- 58:18Speaker 11: overheard him telling his mom that I put pressure on
- 58:21Speaker 11: him to clean, cook and do this and do that.
- 58:24Speaker 11: I don't want him to think I'm nagging him, but
- 58:26Speaker 11: he needs a crash course on being the man of
- 58:28Speaker 11: the house real fast. I never thought it would be
- 58:31Speaker 11: this big of a problem. Is it best to postpone
- 58:34Speaker 11: the wedding until he grows up? Yes, yes it is, Yes,
- 58:39Speaker 11: most definitely. You cannot marry this man. You can't If
- 58:43Speaker 11: you do. These same problems that you've written Steve and
- 58:46Speaker 11: I about today will be going on in the marriage.
- 58:50Speaker 11: You're talking about a man who can't even pick his
- 58:52Speaker 11: own clothes. You said that. I really don't see what,
- 58:56Speaker 11: if anything, you guys have in common.
- 58:59Speaker 1: You were raised differently.
- 59:00Speaker 11: You had both parents who set a good example for
- 59:03Speaker 11: you and him. He was raised by his mom and
- 59:07Speaker 11: by his grandmother. He didn't have a father to teach
- 59:09Speaker 11: him how to be a man or a husband. And
- 59:12Speaker 11: please don't think you can change him, because that's not
- 59:14Speaker 11: going to happen.
- 59:15Speaker 1: He is who he is.
- 59:16Speaker 11: He doesn't see a need to change. He's already complaining
- 59:21Speaker 11: to his mom about you wanting him to cook and clean,
- 59:24Speaker 11: and that's not going to stop because you got papers.
- 59:27Speaker 11: It's only going to get worse. So yes, postponing or
- 59:31Speaker 11: calling this wedding off is an excellent idea, because I
- 59:34Speaker 11: don't think you guys are a good match at all, Steve.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Let's go to the bottom of this letter.
- 59:42Speaker 7: The bottom of the letter says, is it best to
- 59:45Speaker 7: postpone the wedding till he grows up? Here's another part
- 59:50Speaker 7: of the letter at the bottom. I don't want him
- 59:52Speaker 7: to think I'm nagging, but he needs a crash course
- 59:56Speaker 7: on being the man of the house real fast. I
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: never thought it would be this big of a problem.
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: Is it best to postpone the wedding till he grows up? Well,
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: let me ask you a basic question right here, right now,
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: what are you marrying him for?
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: What is the purpose of this union?
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: Look, I don't tell people how to live their life
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: because I've done everything crazy. I don't tell people wait
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: till they get married because I do have moved into
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: I'm done, tried it all.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: But when you move in.
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: And it don't go right, I will refer you to
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: something a man told me in a premarital counseling course.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: He said, son, the only thing that changes in people
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: after they are married is the appearance of their left
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: hand third finger. Everything you saw before you gonna see
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: f Everything they did before they will do after. So
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: my question to you, young lady, is what are you
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: marrying him for I think they said they're both twenty six. Yeah,
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: you're mature, he's not. You're marrying somebody. What t traits
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: did you want in a man that he's exhibiting to you?
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: I don't see it nowhere in the thing. He handles
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: business well in public, What do that mean?
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: At home? He doesn't help me do anything.
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: Then you talk about how you grew up in a
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: home with both your parents and they both split up
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: the chores and cleaned and washed, and your dad was
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: at all your school activities.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: He cooked.
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: You know, my fiance was raised by his mom and
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: his grandmom. He was catered to his entire life.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Now, this is the part I don't understand.
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: His mama bought most of his clothes until he and
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: I got engaged. Okay, now y'all twenty six and got engaged.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: His mama bought his clothes up till then. Then you
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: fixed it up a little bit and said, well, his
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: mama got great taste.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: I told her I can take care of it.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: Now what His mama bought his clothes till he was
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: twenty six. Then his grandmama did all the cooking, So
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: he can't even he can't even make a sandwich. His
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: mama joked that if you don't start spoiling him, they
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: gonna come over there and do it for you.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Told her that wasn't funny to you.
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: Why are you marrying this boy?
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Because I ain't hurt nothing? Manly?
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: He do you know what I think it is?
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I think.
- 1:03:00Speaker 11: We'll be come back all right, All right, Steve, We'll

- 1:03:51Speaker 11: website and Amazon. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:03:56Speaker 11: today's strawberry letter. The subject is am I marrying a
- 1:03:59Speaker 11: man or a child?
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: And if you got to ask that question and then
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: write in a letter, then you already know the answer,
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: because if you was marrying a man, you wouldn't be
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: typing this letter. Just why are you marrying this dude?
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: You know what this letter is, y'all. This letter is.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: A woman who wants a husband.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: And a man who needs a mother and a grandmother
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: and is hoping to find it in his wife. Because
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: this dude right here, man, his mama picked out his
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: clothes till he was twenty six. I've never heard that before,
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: and I've heard a lot of stuff, but I've never
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: heard a mama by her son's clothes till he twenty six.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: Then you say, well, good things, She had good taste
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: because he's always well dressed. Then you say he take
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: care of bez out in public, but then private is
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: something wrong with him? Well, I'll tell you what's wrong
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: with him. He don't do anything. You came from a
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: two parent home where your parents split all the responsibilities.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: Your dad helped cook, clean, he was at all your
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: school activities. Your fiance was raised by his mom, and
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: his grandmama. They did everything, and his grandmama cooked all
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: his meals to the point where you say, your man
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: can't even make a sandwich.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: He was catered to his entire life.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: And Dniel Mama told you, if you don't start spoiling him,
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: they gonna come over there and do it for you.
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: You said, I don't think that's funny at all. They
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: were serious. And so then here's the part. He don't
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: want to learn how to cook. And when I ask
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: him sawtage clothes for the launch because they don't. Oh,
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: by the way, they've been living together for three weeks.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: That's what produced this letter. He moved in with her
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: three weeks ago. He didn't know that whites don't go
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: in to wash it with dogs.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: That's easy.
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: Let him do it one time and that'll fix that.
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: That's right, Because when all your drawers is gray and
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: green and they was white, that's you. When your socks
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: don't fit no more, when your blue jeans is not
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: coolos yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you can fix that
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: right there. When your T shirts and all your T
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: shirts that you put them on and they show your navel,
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: that that's when you love it. Card of wash After that,
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: he often talks about having children. But I can't imagine
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: taking care of children while I'm raising a grown man. Really,
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: so why are you even considering marrying him?
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: If you're trying to raise a grown man?
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: And then you overheard telling his mama that you put
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: pressure on him to clean and cook and do this
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: and that. Now, I don't want him to think got nagging,
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: But he needs a crash course on being man of
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: the house.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Okay? And who and who finn to give it to it?
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: Who?
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: Who, young lady at gonna give him this crash course?
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: He done got the crash course he gonna get from
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: his mama and his grandmama. How you gonna give him
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: a crash course when you ain't never been a man? Now,
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: you done had a good example of it in your father,
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: But you can't make a man be a man. I
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: can tell you that right now. You can take that
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: off your plate of and of things to do. If
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: you may meet a man, young ladies, and he's not
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: a man, walk away because there is nothing you can
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: do to get him to be one. A woman cannot
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: make a man be a man. A woman can help
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: a man be a better man. Okay, okay, that's what
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: you can do. But you got to start with a man.
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: Your husband's you. Man married you because it hopes that
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: you can help him become a better man. But you
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: married your husband because he was already a man. Now
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: you get in there as a support system and try
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: to make him a better man. Same thing with a woman.
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: You marry a woman to make her a better woman.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: That's man.
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: Y'all got to compliment each other, and they got nothing
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: going on right here. I don't even see why you're
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: married his dude. They don't have nothing in comment. He
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: don't do nothing. He ain't got nothing in common with
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: your daddy, your brother. I never thought it would be
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: this big of a problem. Is it best to postpone
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: the wedding till he grows up? He's not going to
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: grow up. Do you know how far behind he is
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: right now? His mama been buying his clothes to he
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: twenty six. I'm just telling you right now, I've never
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: heard that before. I don't know no man who mama
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: bought their clothes till he was twenty six.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Now. I know some men that lived at their mama.
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: House till they were thirty something, But they was never
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: in a real relationship. Ain't no woman signing up for that.
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: I don't know why you was signed up for this.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: You know what I think you should do. I think
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: you should ask him to leave your house until he
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: grows up. And then while he over there growing up,
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: you need to go find somebody that's already grown. That's
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: my strong suggestion to you, because you finna waste your life.
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: You're going to spend years of misery with this boy.
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: This boy right here, he don't have it. He just
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: don't have it. And I know it's one. I don't
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: have a word from him. I don't know what he's
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: thinking of doing. But you everything you put in the
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: let he ain't doing. He ain't doing nothing.
- 1:09:53Speaker 11: I leave him why you We post your comments on

- 1:12:28Speaker 7: That did?
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: That didn't feel right to me?
- 1:12:30Speaker 13: Yeah, I didn't feel right, all right. The Ravens.
- 1:12:35Speaker 12: The Ravens beat the Browns twenty three to sixteen.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Did you pick yeah?
- 1:12:42Speaker 13: No, no, no, you picked the Ravens.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: I know he didn't pick the Ravens. Yeah. I'm not
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: stupid though, so he picked it. Hey, I know you
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: got in the game.
- 1:12:52Speaker 13: Yes, he did get in the game, man.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Thank you man, and we had home.
- 1:12:57Speaker 13: He did.
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: He looked way more like a quarterback than that little
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: boy Dylan whatever his name is did he get a
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: concursion dog he had? He had he could have had that.
- 1:13:08Speaker 7: He been throwing like that. Oh he had the concussion.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Okay.

- 1:13:19Speaker 12: to nine.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, and you picked the Eagles with you?

- 1:13:33Speaker 7: He got in there and the shout out to pimping
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: because the picks was on fire this week on the
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: roll right now.
- 1:13:41Speaker 13: Man, it's a great week.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: Man. Well, he's gonna be hard to deal with this week.
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: All right, Junior, thank you, congratulations Steve. Coming up at
- 1:13:50Speaker 11: the top of the hour, woman needs some advice of
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: social media. She said, I overheard the stepmom's real plans.
- 1:13:58Speaker 11: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:14:07Speaker 11: This is from Anonymous on Steve Harvey FM. Anonymous says,
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: about six months ago, my sixty year old dad got
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: remarried to a twenty eight year old woman. I was
- 1:14:19Speaker 11: visiting my Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was visiting my dad
- 1:14:22Speaker 11: for the weekend, and I overheard a phone call this.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Wife was having while dad was out.
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: She was laughing about how it's not that pathetic and
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: she only has to stick it out for a couple
- 1:14:32Speaker 11: of years and she can cash out in the divorce.
- 1:14:35Speaker 11: She also said some downright rude and disrespectful things about
- 1:14:39Speaker 11: my dad. I want to pull my dad to the
- 1:14:41Speaker 11: side and talk to him about it, but I also
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: know it would break him to know what was being
- 1:14:47Speaker 11: said behind his back. And there's also a chance that
- 1:14:49Speaker 11: he might not even believe me, since it was clear
- 1:14:52Speaker 11: that I wasn't a big fan of my mom and
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: him getting divorced back in the day in the first place.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: Well, what you should have did? But it's too late.
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: You should have busted hubside.
- 1:15:06Speaker 18: You say that that's what you should have did.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Should have just rolled up on it and walked them.
- 1:15:16Speaker 11: Too late for that, huh yeah, uh.
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: Oh, it would have been really smart if you could
- 1:15:23Speaker 7: have recorded it.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that's yeah.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: But you're probably old and didn't think of that in time,
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: because these kids got it quick.
- 1:15:33Speaker 7: Oh man, Yeah, yeah, it probably is.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:42Speaker 11: So she shouldn't tell her dad though, Is that what
- 1:15:45Speaker 11: you're saying? She shouldn't say anything to her dad about
- 1:15:48Speaker 11: what she overheard.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: You might not.
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: Believe that, but I just don't hate dad.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Listen to me. Be careful because I overheard her having
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: a conversation.
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: I know you're not gonna believe it if I told
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: you what I heard, But Daddy, please be careful.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Because she ain't right.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: She's got to work to your father.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's yeah. But is he going to believe it though?
- 1:16:14Speaker 17: Is he?
- 1:16:15Speaker 11: You know?
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Is he gonna? I mean, but she told him because
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: once he finds out, she goes.
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: I tried to tell you, Daddy, right now, he's enjoying life.
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: His eyes are rolled in the back of his head.
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: Every other night, he's he's going through some amazing things.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Right. No, no, not every other night. She's sick. You
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: don't think so, not every other night?
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: He said, how many times, Steve? You think twice?
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Yeah? A few times a month? You know? Okay? All right,
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: that's okay.
- 1:16:46Speaker 11: But she's got it all planned out a couple of years.
- 1:16:49Speaker 11: A divorce should cash out in the divorce in a
- 1:16:53Speaker 11: couple of years.
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: Wow, Yeah, you got this playing the old digger play.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: That's why you know? You got to make sure somebody
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: marry you for you?
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: And how do you do that.
- 1:17:14Speaker 20: Says the rich a lot of tish, got a lot
- 1:17:22Speaker 20: say nothing known, but you got to put a lot
- 1:17:24Speaker 20: of tests in the beginning.
- 1:17:26Speaker 11: Okay, okay, in the beginning, Okay, all right, we know
- 1:17:33Speaker 11: we have time for another one. This is from Rob
- 1:17:35Speaker 11: on Steve HARVEFM. Rob says, my wife recently got a
- 1:17:39Speaker 11: new job, and she really seems to be enjoying it,
- 1:17:42Speaker 11: particularly because her coworkers are so cool. Yesterday she came
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: home talking about some new girl that she met there
- 1:17:48Speaker 11: by the name of Lolita. After a brief description of Lolita,
- 1:17:52Speaker 11: I knew, without a shadow of a doubt that this
- 1:17:55Speaker 11: was the same Loalita I kicked it with a couple
- 1:17:58Speaker 11: of months before I met my wife. It was never
- 1:18:01Speaker 11: anything serious, but we were really into each other. My
- 1:18:04Speaker 11: wife is going to suggest meeting up with some of
- 1:18:07Speaker 11: her work friends, including Lolita, and it could get a
- 1:18:11Speaker 11: bit awkward. So do I wait it out and hope
- 1:18:13Speaker 11: for the best. Or do I let the situation be
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: known and hope for the best.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Boy, not open your mouth.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: He can't say anything.
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: Do not do not open your mouth. Just off a
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: description you know that Lolita or.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: By the hut your mouth? All right? All right?
- 1:18:41Speaker 11: You heard it from CLO. All right, coming up, we'll
- 1:18:45Speaker 11: have more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: I ain't going to lunch with him.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:57Speaker 11: Having a six figure salary doesn't mean what it used
- 1:18:59Speaker 11: to mean, as a third of those earners now say
- 1:19:03Speaker 11: they're financially distressed, according to a new Harris poll. Surprisingly,
- 1:19:07Speaker 11: a lot of those making at least one hundred thousand
- 1:19:09Speaker 11: dollars are living paycheck to paycheck. Is three quarters of
- 1:19:12Speaker 11: them admit to using a credit card recently because they
- 1:19:16Speaker 11: ran out of cash before they got paid. So here's
- 1:19:19Speaker 11: a question for you, guys, is well, Steve not you necessarily, Yeah,
- 1:19:26Speaker 11: question is yeah, just for gicks, Is a six figure
- 1:19:31Speaker 11: income a sign of wealth to you?
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: That's question A. That's that's number one. Is that a sign?
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: I mean you know, that's that's a good living man.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that puts you in.
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: That puts you in the upper echelon people in the
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: United States. Really, Yeah, one hundred thousand dollars a year,
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: that puts you in the upper echelon.
- 1:19:54Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:19:54Speaker 11: Well, the people that are making that are saying they're
- 1:19:57Speaker 11: living paycheck to paycheck and they're financially distressed right now.
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: So well, the reason is, no matter how much you make,
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: you can live above your means.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: True, true, very true.
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: One hundred thousand dollars, take care of all your needs.
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: What gets you into trouble is your.
- 1:20:16Speaker 18: Won'ts Hello okay, well said, well, yeah, that's that's where
- 1:20:21Speaker 18: your trouble get in at. Yeah, I been knees, ain't nothing.
- 1:20:25Speaker 18: One hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: You good man. All you got to do is quick,
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: won't stuff won't? I won't?
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Yeah, how do you do that?
- 1:20:34Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: That won't last?
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Guys, coming up, we'll play around it, would you rather?
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Right after this, you're.
- 1:20:41Speaker 11: Listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Around the holidays,
- 1:20:49Speaker 11: it's hard to find the right gifts, but you know
- 1:20:51Speaker 11: what's even harder getting the right gift. But get this,
- 1:20:55Speaker 11: Verizon's got the perfect solve for both. They have in
- 1:21:00Speaker 11: edible gift bundles. You get the latest phone with a
- 1:21:03Speaker 11: new line on my plan, and a brand new smartwatch
- 1:21:06Speaker 11: and tablet, no trade in needed. You can give a
- 1:21:10Speaker 11: couple away and get yourself one too, or you can
- 1:21:13Speaker 11: keep them all to yourself. No one has to know,
- 1:21:16Speaker 11: stop by your local Verizon and it's time now for
- 1:21:19Speaker 11: a round it would you rather? Would you rather spend
- 1:21:22Speaker 11: the day on a farm or go to three Broadway
- 1:21:26Speaker 11: plays back to back.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: A day on the phone?
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: Fall for real, three play, I'm gonna be back to
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: back Broadway.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: That's what.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: Time square if we go?
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: And what are you going to be doing on the farm?
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: Yo? Them too right there every ding?
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: What are you going to be doing this?
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: Dog?
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: I can plow, I can.
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: Man, I can move, I got I got, I got
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: stuff to do on my red t out. They get
- 1:22:00Speaker 7: some crops, I can harvest some vegetables. I can man.
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: I can go out.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: There, get my hedgehog out.
- 1:22:07Speaker 7: I can cut a feel, I can go fishing. Yeah,
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: I can a Broadway plate and they start singing and.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Heal myself.
- 1:22:20Speaker 12: Tell me, I mean, I don't understand Broadbay like that.
- 1:22:22Speaker 12: But I can't see myself saying hey man, I'll be
- 1:22:24Speaker 12: right back. I'm going to catch cats.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: I can't see you milking no cow on that floor.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Would you rather.
- 1:22:37Speaker 11: Not be able to watch the entire NFL season, including
- 1:22:41Speaker 11: the playoffs and the Super Bowl, or not eat chicken
- 1:22:45Speaker 11: or fish for the next six months?
- 1:22:47Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Not eat chicken a fish. Oh no, we're gonna watch fish.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: It's no way. Wow, steak in football. That's pretty good.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: I'm good with that. Yeah, hot dogs, amberger Lamb, we
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: do that all right.
- 1:23:04Speaker 11: Would you rather have a thirty minute conversation with your
- 1:23:06Speaker 11: past or a thirty minute conversation with your future self?
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Oh? Both of them?
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Supoth you got that right? That's all I see.
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: You're about the last week or next week? Whoever? Were
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: talking to this? Talk the future? Yeah?
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: The future junior?
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:23:27Speaker 13: Is we still sick? Have we found yet?
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: No?
- 1:23:34Speaker 13: All right, I see what I get to.
- 1:23:37Speaker 11: I like it, Steve, where are you?
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: I need to know your past or your future? Thirty minutes?
- 1:23:44Speaker 17: Now?
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: I know my past.
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: I love to talk to my future, even though that's impossible,
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: but I love them. Let him know I'm coming, and
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: you know, uh huh what I like to have him
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: have prepared when I get there.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: A billion dollars status.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what.
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: I don't need to say nothing to my past. Matter
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: of fact, my past need to stay right where it isn't.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Don't need make no appearances, no, no, none of that.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: He don't need to make no appeance. He's retired.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Would you rather fight?
- 1:24:16Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:24:16Speaker 11: Oh, I think we're out of time, but I was
- 1:24:18Speaker 11: gonna ask you guys, if you'd rather fight a gorilla
- 1:24:20Speaker 11: or a rhino?
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: And you're dead?
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going this gorilla though.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: That's today's rounded. Would you rather Coming up next?

- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Thank you guys for listening. As always, I appreciate you. Yeah. See,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: if you have some words of wisdom for us to
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: take us out of here.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: Well you know.
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: Junia asked me something at the beginning of the day.
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: Junior asked me, He said, how do you keep your
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: walk with God vibrant? Well, I think because I'm human.
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: I think life has caused me to keep it intact.
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: And oh, I've gotten the more intact it is. I
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: don't the word vibrant. Sometimes I'm not the person I
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: need to be in my relationship with God, so I
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: guess it's not as vibrant in those moments. Sometimes I'm
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: not as connected to God as I need to be
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: for whatever the reason, I'm allowing the world to occupy
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: my mind. Or sometimes I think about my problems more
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: than I think about God, when clearly I know that
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: I have no problems bigger than my God. And I
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: know this, but sometimes, as a human, I sit there
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: and allow the problems to evade into my mental space
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: and allow me sometimes to become a little bit sadden
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: or worrisome or doubtful, or feel pressure when I know.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: I don't have to. What keeps mind.
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: Relationship vibrant is just life, man, It's just life just
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: keeps on coming at me. And I don't have time
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: to not have God close to me because it's just
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: too much. And I don't know, and that's for everybody.
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: I don't care who you are. It's all relative. You
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: don't have to have my life to think it can
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: be a bit much. Sometimes your life right where it
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: is can be a bit much. Trust and believe you
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: ain't got to be me to have a life that's
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: a bit much. All of us, at one point in
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: time feels that our life is a bit much. Can
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: I get an amen?
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: Amen?
- 1:27:34Speaker 9: Amen?
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Again?
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: I don't know anybody who don't from time to time
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: think that life is a bit much. But the one
- 1:27:42Speaker 7: thing that the constant that I always know is is
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: that when it becomes a bit much, it don't have
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: to stay that way because I can actually turn it
- 1:27:57Speaker 7: over to God. I can actually take it to God,
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: let him have it and give him permission to handle it.
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: But you have a choice in the matter. Now, that's
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: the thing, and you got to make the decision to
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: use that option. You know, old people say, if you're
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: gonna pray about it, don't worry about it. If you're
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: gonna worry about it, then don't pray about it.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: But that's a human being.
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: You get caught in that middle sometimes where you worried
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: about it for a longer period than you need to.
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: But when I like, it's been something that's been pressing
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: on me the last couple of days. Finally, last night
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: me and my wife was praying about it, and all
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: of a sudden, today I feel a whole lot better
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: about it because I gave it to God. Because you
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: ever had something happen and you just ain't got no answer?
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: Have you ever had something happen to you and it
- 1:28:46Speaker 7: left you in a state of going like, Man, what
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: am I gonna do?
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: Have you ever hello? Hello?
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: Don't sit out there and act like I just just steve.
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: I'm talking to everybody right now. You remember, just recently,
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: while you was questioning everything, You remember not having an
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: answer to nothing. When you get that way, remember God
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: is available twenty four seven, and God has an answer,
- 1:29:20Speaker 7: He has a response God. It ain't confusing to God.
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: God don't need clarity. God got answer for everything. God
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: got to fix for it. You just got to be
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: smart enough to trust an't even go to it. But
- 1:29:37Speaker 7: then ain't that the problem?
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: Though?
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: Ain't that the problem? Too many times we allow our
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: problems to be bigger than our God. When you have
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: no problem bigger than God. You just don't. And once
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: you come to that understanding, you realize that you have
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: a very present help, very present help. So to say,
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: how do I keep my relationship vibrant? What I just
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: try to do, Junior, to be honest with you, is
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: to keep it consistent. I try to pray every day.
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: I try to confide in Him all the time. Man,
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: I have learned as I've gotten over, I go to
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: God with everything what to do next. One of my
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: biggest prayers is, Lord, order my steps, Just take me
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: in the direction you want me to go, and then
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: help me make the right decision. Just last night, me
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: and my wife was praying that God removes the people
- 1:30:42Speaker 7: from our life and our path that we don't need
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: in our way because they ain't nothing but the hinders.
- 1:30:48Speaker 7: We just had that prayer last night to remove people
- 1:30:53Speaker 7: from our life who could be a hindrance and get
- 1:30:56Speaker 7: in the way of what God got for us. Belly,
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: That's really the best way I'll keep my faith life.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Vibrant.
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: Prayer Man, Prayer works, y'all. Prayer works. Don't you let
- 1:31:13Speaker 7: nobody tell you it?
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: Don't.
- 1:31:15Speaker 7: Don't you let nobody tell you God ain't listening. God
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: hear everything. But are you talking to him though? Are
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: you really earnestly talking to him?
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: Y'all?
- 1:31:26Speaker 7: Prayer works, it does. Prayer really works. Go sit down
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: and talk to some people at the New Lord for
- 1:31:35Speaker 7: a while. Prayer works. Man, better get you some. Don't
- 1:31:41Speaker 7: forget to pray, y'all, all right, don't forget because prayer
- 1:31:45Speaker 7: changes things. Prayer change people too. Y'all, have a great
- 1:31:49Speaker 7: day today. Talk to God. He would love to hear
- 1:31:52Speaker 7: from me, and he got an answer for you too.
