- 2:02Speaker 1: well a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on, dignan now one it only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. I gotta tweet the other day. When
- 2:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey used to get the preaching, I used to
- 2:17Speaker 1: just turn the radio off. Mina's different, old dude be
- 2:24Speaker 1: bringing it, he'd be bringing the truth. I appreciate that,
- 2:29Speaker 1: you know. Man, When I was younger, man, when I
- 2:31Speaker 1: when I wanted to do what I wanted to do, Man,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I just man, I didn't want to hear nothing else.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I don't want to hear nothing that contradicted what I
- 2:39Speaker 1: wanted to do, you know. So it's a funny thing
- 2:42Speaker 1: man about me. Man I was I would hear the truth,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I would know it to be the truth. But because
- 2:48Speaker 1: I had another plan, another mission, another goal, another set
- 2:51Speaker 1: of dudes. I wanted to get done. I didn't want
- 2:54Speaker 1: to hear that. You know. It's a funny thing, man.
- 2:57Speaker 1: It's like like when I was a little boy and
- 3:00Speaker 1: I used to get scared sometime at night, you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: the booger man. So I thought that if I just
- 3:05Speaker 1: pulled the blanket up over my head, that that meant
- 3:08Speaker 1: that if I can't see the booger man, he can't
- 3:11Speaker 1: see me. That's the theory. That's an ostrich, you know,
- 3:16Speaker 1: sticking his head in the sand, thinking wow, if I
- 3:19Speaker 1: don't see this dude, he can't see me. A lot
- 3:22Speaker 1: of Ostriches didn't die with their head stuck in the sand.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I just didn't want to be one of the people
- 3:27Speaker 1: that left this world with my head in the sand.
- 3:30Speaker 1: But I just wanted to say, man, this morning, that
- 3:37Speaker 1: quit talking about change. Y'all listening, because because because this
- 3:43Speaker 1: is real right here, quit talking about change and let's
- 3:49Speaker 1: make a change. You know, man, I don't I don't
- 3:52Speaker 1: mind giving people advice, I really, I really really don't,
- 3:55Speaker 1: because so many people along the way have handed it
- 3:59Speaker 1: to me freely. Man, Some people just saw me doing
- 4:02Speaker 1: wrong and say, young man, come in, let me talk
- 4:04Speaker 1: to you for a minute. Some people say, hey, bro,
- 4:06Speaker 1: look man, I know what you're trying to do. Man,
- 4:09Speaker 1: when have you thought about it this way? So I've
- 4:12Speaker 1: had a lot of favor in my life, a lot
- 4:15Speaker 1: of grace been shown on me, a lot of mercy,
- 4:18Speaker 1: A lot of people and came to me, helped me
- 4:20Speaker 1: a long way. So I don't have no problem with
- 4:21Speaker 1: this part of what I'm what I'm obligated to do
- 4:23Speaker 1: in the mornings. But let's quit talking about change, y'all,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and let's make a change. She changed its growth, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: it ain't no growth without change. You got people. Man,
- 4:36Speaker 1: You ever met a person that's just insistent on doing
- 4:39Speaker 1: it they way? I mean, no body in the building
- 4:42Speaker 1: think they should go that way. But they're so bone headed.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Oh this is how I'm gonna do it. But bro,
- 4:50Speaker 1: listen to me. Man, that ain't high as done. You're
- 4:52Speaker 1: gonna run into this distance. I'll show you. Hey a minute, man,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you can't do it that way. Man. If if you
- 5:00Speaker 1: are sick and tired of where you are, then you
- 5:03Speaker 1: have to change. Change can only come from within. Can
- 5:07Speaker 1: nobody make you change? Now we got a penal system
- 5:10Speaker 1: in place that can make you sit down. If you
- 5:13Speaker 1: don't want to change, we'll sit you down and we'll
- 5:17Speaker 1: restrict your movement and your communication to the point where
- 5:21Speaker 1: if you want to continue this foolishness, we're gonna put
- 5:23Speaker 1: you in this building with a whole lot of people.
- 5:25Speaker 1: That's a foolishness, and y'all just trick each other all
- 5:28Speaker 1: day long. But if you are sick and tired of
- 5:31Speaker 1: your situation, pray for it. Pray for change, Ask God
- 5:37Speaker 1: to help you change. Ask God what he wants for
- 5:40Speaker 1: you instead of always telling God what you want. It's
- 5:43Speaker 1: an interesting prayer to have with God. When you quit
- 5:48Speaker 1: going to God with your list and check in with
- 5:51Speaker 1: God and see what his list is. That's a very
- 5:54Speaker 1: interesting prayer. If you're a praying person, I suggest you
- 5:58Speaker 1: try that sometimes. It's so interesting. Man, Do you know
- 6:01Speaker 1: what it did for me when I started asking God
- 6:04Speaker 1: what he wanted for me? Instead of telling God all
- 6:07Speaker 1: the time. I still tell him what I want, but
- 6:09Speaker 1: instead of all the time going to Him with what
- 6:11Speaker 1: I want. You know what it did for me. It
- 6:13Speaker 1: freed me up. It took a lot of pressure off
- 6:17Speaker 1: I no longer had to think of everything, and what
- 6:20Speaker 1: I was thinking of a lot of times wasn't work
- 6:22Speaker 1: in no way. And when I opened myself up to
- 6:24Speaker 1: what he wanted, to what his wheel was, Man, do
- 6:28Speaker 1: you know how much simpler my life got? And do
- 6:30Speaker 1: you know how much bigger it got? I'm trying to
- 6:33Speaker 1: tell you, man, if you pray for change and you
- 6:35Speaker 1: allow God to help you with the change, or if
- 6:38Speaker 1: you let God just produce the change, the changing, you
- 6:42Speaker 1: would be amazing. If you've been listening to me, especially
- 6:45Speaker 1: out in La since I was on the radio since
- 6:47Speaker 1: two thousand, can't you hear the change? I'm flat out
- 6:52Speaker 1: telling you that a change has come. But I had
- 6:56Speaker 1: to pray for the change because I couldn't make the
- 6:58Speaker 1: change on my own. And then after you pray for
- 7:02Speaker 1: the change, you got to work towards your trade change.
- 7:05Speaker 1: You know it as a faith without works is dead.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Everybody wants something from God, always want to talk to
- 7:10Speaker 1: God about something, But then man, ain't, ain't, don't, don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: want to do nothing about it. Faith without works is dead.
- 7:18Speaker 1: You can't do it that way, man, It just does
- 7:21Speaker 1: not happen. So so after you didn't pray to God,
- 7:24Speaker 1: about it. What you gotta do then, is you gotta
- 7:27Speaker 1: turn around and go hey, man, all right, now what
- 7:30Speaker 1: is it I got to do? You know, you got
- 7:32Speaker 1: to do something to bring it about. So after you
- 7:37Speaker 1: pray for it, work for it, and do something to
- 7:39Speaker 1: date about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks. The change
- 7:45Speaker 1: can start today. Man, I want to change. How about today?
- 7:50Speaker 1: You know then you see them same people? Man, I
- 7:53Speaker 1: want to change. That's next week. How about today? I
- 7:57Speaker 1: see people years later? Man, I'm still in this same
- 8:00Speaker 1: old situation. Man, I'm gonna do something. How about today?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Today is a good day. There's nothing stopping you from
- 8:07Speaker 1: changing today, nothing except you. You can begin the process
- 8:13Speaker 1: of change immediately. And change is growth, y'all. And ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no growth without changing. It's a simple thing. And I'm
- 8:20Speaker 1: talking to you in broad strokes because everybody got something
- 8:23Speaker 1: about them they need to change. That's why I'm not
- 8:26Speaker 1: specifically talking about anything. I got some things in me
- 8:30Speaker 1: didn't need to change so I can grow further. Everybody
- 8:35Speaker 1: has something about them that they need to change in
- 8:39Speaker 1: order to grow further and then go further. Now, what's
- 8:42Speaker 1: stopping you is you won't start the change today, don't hesitate,
- 8:47Speaker 1: make that change, and then I want you to watch something.
- 8:50Speaker 1: When you change, watch the difference in you. Notice the
- 8:54Speaker 1: difference in you, feel the difference in you, and guess
- 8:57Speaker 1: what you're gonna be different? If if you're watching for
- 9:01Speaker 1: the change, if you're feeling the change, then guess what
- 9:04Speaker 1: you're gonna be different. Man, Watch for the difference, feel
- 9:07Speaker 1: the difference. You will be different. If you're sick and
- 9:10Speaker 1: tired of your situation, folks, you can change that. But
- 9:14Speaker 1: the change is in you. It's a simple decision you
- 9:17Speaker 1: had to make. I'm gonna change. The change is up
- 9:19Speaker 1: to you. You can decide to day if you want
- 9:23Speaker 1: to change, you want to be different. If you're sitting
- 9:25Speaker 1: behind the wall, I love speaking to the brothers and
- 9:27Speaker 1: sisters behind the wall. If you're behind the wall, man,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and you're sick and tired of being behind the wall, man,
- 9:32Speaker 1: why don't you change? You've thought about that? Change? Man.
- 9:36Speaker 1: If I get back out there, I'm gonna just do
- 9:38Speaker 1: the same thing. Stop saying that. Stop breathing that negativity
- 9:41Speaker 1: into your life. Decide today that you want to change.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You can do it. Everybody can change. If you don't
- 9:47Speaker 1: know how to change, pray for it, man, ask God
- 9:49Speaker 1: to help you with the change. Or you get some movement,
- 9:52Speaker 1: then partner, you get a whole lot of movement. Then
- 9:55Speaker 1: all right, let's right, you're listening show. Good morning everybody,
- 10:04Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. I'm gonna say it again, good morning everybody.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It is still a good morning, irregardless as to what's
- 10:12Speaker 1: popping off. We are here for you, the Steve Harvey
- 10:16Speaker 1: Morning Show. God is still with us, God is still
- 10:20Speaker 1: in control. Do what you wanna do, but you ain't
- 10:24Speaker 1: really running nothing. I've given all my power and consent
- 10:29Speaker 1: over to my heavenly father. That's how I'm rolling today.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I invite y'all to do the same with me. Now
- 10:35Speaker 1: with that said, I'm showing sick of this methsto. Good morning,
- 10:38Speaker 1: Shelly re What is this Phase two? Sitting up in
- 10:48Speaker 1: here that dog gone kills spraits Junior boy, morning up,
- 10:53Speaker 1: morning everybody. What's going on the other ball headed one? Nephew,
- 10:58Speaker 1: Timmy King in the building. Man, Yeah, it is what
- 11:05Speaker 1: it is, baby, It is what it is. Yeah, be patient,
- 11:09Speaker 1: just you know, some patience. We gotta have some faith.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's not over. It's not over, Steve. I'm not out
- 11:15Speaker 1: of faith. I am out of patience. I know, hey,
- 11:22Speaker 1: twenty twenty, the election, it feel like a prank. Yeah, yes,
- 11:29Speaker 1: right now it feels like a prank. That man, all
- 11:34Speaker 1: the Poles had him out front awesome landslide. I knew
- 11:40Speaker 1: that wasn't gonna be but that Yeah, yeah, I said it,
- 11:44Speaker 1: but I did not. I just didn't believe Donald Trump's
- 11:49Speaker 1: bass had grew it did Yeah, yeah, yeah, because you
- 11:56Speaker 1: know what we thought, like the Democrats, I thought character, man, moral,
- 12:03Speaker 1: you know, mashes of it mattered, right, Junior, I thought
- 12:07Speaker 1: that was part of it. No, it was not. You
- 12:10Speaker 1: believe the soul of the nation. Well yeah, now you
- 12:17Speaker 1: know what the soul of the nation really is? Okay, Well,
- 12:21Speaker 1: now with that said, yea, that is still hope half
- 12:29Speaker 1: of us who are really concerned about the soul of
- 12:33Speaker 1: the nation and the and what type of soul the
- 12:36Speaker 1: president of the United States should have. Absolutely, it is
- 12:40Speaker 1: still a large percentage of us. And so you know what, man,
- 12:47Speaker 1: I was really surprised at his based group. But it's
- 12:51Speaker 1: a wake up call for me personally, Steve Harvey, and
- 12:54Speaker 1: a wake up call to us all that we got
- 12:57Speaker 1: to as usual, do more, do better, and do it
- 13:02Speaker 1: more often. That's the wake up call to all of us.
- 13:06Speaker 1: That's it, man, because they they they trimmed. Man. Man,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I want to day before we get our hair. No,
- 13:17Speaker 1: we ain't gonna know today. We ain't went dog. We
- 13:20Speaker 1: may not know for a couple of days. And he's
- 13:22Speaker 1: already set the peel the peel in place that it's
- 13:26Speaker 1: a fake election that they chieved. He did, Yeah, he did.
- 13:30Speaker 1: All right, we'll have more about the election, and we
- 13:32Speaker 1: may ask the CLO right after this. You're listening to show, well, well, well,
- 13:39Speaker 1: it is the day after the election. And guess what,
- 13:41Speaker 1: it is not over. It is not over. The twenty
- 13:44Speaker 1: twenty presidential election was neither a Joe Biden landslide like
- 13:49Speaker 1: we hoped for, nor was it a Donald Trump triumph
- 13:53Speaker 1: like he hoped for. Uh. Instead, it was a tightly
- 13:56Speaker 1: contested battle that could go either way, although our candidate
- 13:59Speaker 1: Joe Biden appeared to have an edge. However, in a
- 14:03Speaker 1: bizarre late night press conference, Donald Trump continued to make
- 14:07Speaker 1: unfounded claims about the integrity of the election, putting the
- 14:10Speaker 1: whole process in doubt and hinting the decision would go
- 14:14Speaker 1: to the Supreme Court, to which he has appointed a
- 14:17Speaker 1: few justices. We all knew about that. Early Wednesday morning, though,
- 14:23Speaker 1: on the East Coast, Biden was in the lead but
- 14:25Speaker 1: didn't have enough electoral votes to win the election, and
- 14:29Speaker 1: Trump still had a chance. Trump won key battleground states
- 14:33Speaker 1: like Ohio, Florida, Texas, and numerous red states, while Biden
- 14:37Speaker 1: took the big blue states such as California and New York,
- 14:41Speaker 1: as well as Colorado, New Mexico, and my own state, Illinois.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Biden addressed his followers in Wilmington, Delaware, at a drive
- 14:48Speaker 1: an event early Wednesday morning, saying he was on track
- 14:52Speaker 1: to win this election. Take a listen. Your patience is commendable.
- 14:57Speaker 1: We knew this was gonna go home, but you knew
- 15:00Speaker 1: we're gonna go into maybe tomorrow morning, maybe even longer.
- 15:04Speaker 1: But look, we feel good about where we are. We
- 15:08Speaker 1: really do. I'm here to tell you tonight. We believe
- 15:15Speaker 1: we're on track to win this election. Keep hope alive,
- 15:22Speaker 1: Keep hope alive. Baby. Biden also invites patients until all
- 15:28Speaker 1: the votes are counted and we're trying. Steve says he's
- 15:31Speaker 1: run out, though, right, Steve, I'm too man. I told y'all,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I told y'all what I was going to do was
- 15:38Speaker 1: please big employ encourage all of us to get out
- 15:42Speaker 1: and vote. Okay, now that I've done that, I can't
- 15:46Speaker 1: do no more. I'm done. I do want to say
- 15:50Speaker 1: this though, as a form of encouragement, I want to
- 15:53Speaker 1: thank all of our listeners and the vast majority of
- 15:57Speaker 1: African Americans because I think we showed up. I really
- 16:02Speaker 1: really do. And if we can turn Michigan and around
- 16:06Speaker 1: or Wisconsin or for Georgia to be this close, it's
- 16:10Speaker 1: causing us. For Texas to be damn near blue state,
- 16:14Speaker 1: it's cause of us for for us to be as
- 16:19Speaker 1: close as we are in Georgia. George has never been blue.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That that I mean probably Clinton or something like that,
- 16:26Speaker 1: but I'm talking about in recent memory. But man, I'm
- 16:30Speaker 1: just proud of the effort that we put out and
- 16:32Speaker 1: we came through when we did. What we did not
- 16:35Speaker 1: account for, which is crazy to me, is that Trump's
- 16:39Speaker 1: based grew it grew it grew. Man, Never underestimate your opponent. Yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: it's yeah. Well I'm speechless and yeah, and it just
- 16:58Speaker 1: is what it is. I mean, you know, like still
- 17:01Speaker 1: goes on. We still gotta live, you know what I'm saying, yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 1: it's a yeah, it's a disappointment. It's over but you know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: yeah it's not overlooked. And it was like, look, man,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I wanted to desperately for it to be a lands slide.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I really did, yea, And we know the decision who
- 17:21Speaker 1: the clear winner was from. But by this morning morning,
- 17:26Speaker 1: you know, And but I really thought it would be
- 17:30Speaker 1: that bigger because I said, man, these people quietly have
- 17:34Speaker 1: got to be sick and tired of him. But the
- 17:36Speaker 1: disappointment in this country, with it being this close, is
- 17:41Speaker 1: so many of them have no problem with him being
- 17:44Speaker 1: the way he is. And that's the sad part and
- 17:48Speaker 1: says a lot about the condition of this country. It
- 17:52Speaker 1: has nothing to do with his his stance for the
- 17:56Speaker 1: Republican Party. It's his other stances that have made this
- 18:02Speaker 1: guy such a He's immoral, Yeah, he's a liar. He
- 18:08Speaker 1: only cares about himself. He don't give a damn how
- 18:11Speaker 1: many of y'all or us get coronavirus. He got nine
- 18:15Speaker 1: doctors at Walter Reed taking care of him his wife
- 18:18Speaker 1: and his child, and and and cool for that. But boy,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I just don't I do not. I didn't believe his
- 18:28Speaker 1: base would growth this much? Yeah to what his race
- 18:31Speaker 1: is down to? This? This is crazy, man. Yeah, we'll see.
- 18:35Speaker 1: We'll talk about the presidential election all morning. Let's get
- 18:38Speaker 1: a couple of clo questions. Let's all right, Yeah, let's
- 18:42Speaker 1: have some fun. This one's from Tamera in Chicago. Tamera,
- 18:45Speaker 1: since I've been dating a man for almost two years
- 18:47Speaker 1: and he drives for a ride share company in his
- 18:49Speaker 1: spare time. Over the weekend, we took his mom to Target,
- 18:53Speaker 1: so I jumped in the back seat. I saw a
- 18:54Speaker 1: piece of a condom wrapper under the driver's seat, and
- 18:57Speaker 1: I held it up so he could see it in
- 18:58Speaker 1: the rearview mirror. Mom went in the store and we
- 19:01Speaker 1: stayed in the car arguing. He was mad at me
- 19:03Speaker 1: for holding up the wrapper where his mom could have
- 19:05Speaker 1: seen it, and he said I was crazy because I
- 19:07Speaker 1: know he drives people around in that car, so it
- 19:10Speaker 1: had to be left there by a passenger. How did
- 19:12Speaker 1: he turn this around on me? Do you think he
- 19:14Speaker 1: has something to hide? No, No, I don't. He rides trip.
- 19:20Speaker 1: There's people back there, everybody, everybody back there. He could
- 19:23Speaker 1: have fell out somebody's pocket, somebody could have threw it
- 19:26Speaker 1: on the ground. But you're gonna hold it away and
- 19:28Speaker 1: Mama could have seen it. Yeah, he right about that?
- 19:31Speaker 1: You tripping my mama, don't? Yeah, all right, all right,
- 19:43Speaker 1: we'll get one more in uh sugar and Baton Rouge says.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm in my late thirties and divorced. I just started
- 19:50Speaker 1: dating a new man. I've kept it a secret from
- 19:52Speaker 1: my family and friends. I'm black, he's white. I told
- 19:54Speaker 1: my a co worker, and she said she's disappointed in
- 19:57Speaker 1: me because I never gave the black guys a chance.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm an equal opportunity dater, and I wanted to try
- 20:02Speaker 1: something new. He's been pursuing me for a while, so
- 20:05Speaker 1: I came to my senses. Any advice you would have,
- 20:09Speaker 1: it would be helpful. No, you love who you want
- 20:11Speaker 1: to love. Go ahead on. Donald Trump could be the
- 20:14Speaker 1: president again. You think I can't who you dating. We
- 20:18Speaker 1: got bigger issues here, bigger problems with another white man.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Do what I can already tell y'all. I like your
- 20:29Speaker 1: white man better. Other president coming up? Run that prank
- 20:38Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to the morning show
- 20:44Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Call us,
- 20:47Speaker 1: we want to talk to you, Call us to just
- 20:50Speaker 1: get it off his chest talking about what's going on, Yes,
- 20:54Speaker 1: with the presidential election. Here's the number eight seven seven
- 20:58Speaker 1: twenty nine. Steve has game just like the White House number.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Keep up alive right now, nephew in the building would

- 27:38Speaker 1: gotta keep it stupid, sir. I wish you would come
- 27:41Speaker 1: over hill. See that's that's that's when you know we
- 27:44Speaker 1: threw with you. I wish you would And let me
- 27:48Speaker 1: tell you something and ever so serious. Once you get
- 27:53Speaker 1: in this driveway, we're gonna get the moving around over here.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I remember a long time ago I was talking to
- 27:57Speaker 1: a white guy. He said, Steve Cash, your question. I
- 27:59Speaker 1: said yeah. He said, why is it that black people's
- 28:02Speaker 1: response to everything is always violence? I said I don't know,
- 28:09Speaker 1: and then he kept on pressing me. I said, hey, man,
- 28:12Speaker 1: don't ask me no more because I said I don't know.
- 28:14Speaker 1: And then he asked me again. I say, hey man,
- 28:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna bush you upside your damn head if you
- 28:19Speaker 1: keep asking me. He said, it's exactly what I'm talking about.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I didn't told you once not take it there, nephew,
- 28:31Speaker 1: tim me live. I can't believe I'm saying this. Nephew,
- 28:34Speaker 1: Time me live Uptown Comedy Corner. That's Atlanta, GA. That's Friday. Uh,
- 28:39Speaker 1: November thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteen. The microphone. Yeah oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 28:47Speaker 1: you want to open up. Okay, your phone calls after
- 28:57Speaker 1: this eight seven, seven, twenty nine, Steve, we'll be back.
- 29:01Speaker 1: You're listening, Steven Show. All right, Steve Harvey Nation listen, listen.
- 29:16Speaker 1: If you're waking up thinking that you know who the
- 29:18Speaker 1: president is, we still don't know. We still do not know.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Right now. Joe Biden is in the lead, but critical
- 29:25Speaker 1: battleground states like Georgia, like Michigan, like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin
- 29:30Speaker 1: are still counting ballots. It's some grandmother's week up this
- 29:35Speaker 1: morning because the baby mom ain't got town to be
- 29:46Speaker 1: up at night. What's going out? Who want baby? Last night,
- 29:51Speaker 1: Trump to watched the returns from the White House, Joe
- 29:53Speaker 1: Biden watched the returns from his home in Delaware. Biden
- 29:56Speaker 1: told his supporters, we believe we're on track to win
- 29:59Speaker 1: the election, and President Trump talked about current election results.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Take a listen to this, and all of a sudden,
- 30:06Speaker 1: everything just stopped. This is a fraud on the American public.
- 30:11Speaker 1: This is an embarrassment to our country. We were getting
- 30:16Speaker 1: ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.
- 30:26Speaker 1: So our goal now is to ensure the integrity for
- 30:31Speaker 1: the good of this nation. This is a very big moment.
- 30:34Speaker 1: This is a major fraud in our nation. We want
- 30:38Speaker 1: the law to be used in a proper manner. So
- 30:42Speaker 1: we'll be going to the US Supreme Court. We want
- 30:46Speaker 1: all voting to stop. We don't want them to find
- 30:50Speaker 1: any ballots at four o'clock in the morning and add
- 30:54Speaker 1: them to the list. Okay, it's a very sad it's
- 31:00Speaker 1: a very sad moment to me, there's a very sad moment.
- 31:05Speaker 1: His plan the entire time listened to me. You know what, man,
- 31:09Speaker 1: his plan. He knew that in early voting he was
- 31:12Speaker 1: getting beaten. That's what all the polls were saying. And
- 31:17Speaker 1: he knew that it was so many early votes, so
- 31:21Speaker 1: many absentee ballots, that the counting was gonna go on
- 31:26Speaker 1: for quite some time, as it does every single year.
- 31:30Speaker 1: And because this one's close, he knew that. So he
- 31:34Speaker 1: had already set the table for this to happen, because
- 31:39Speaker 1: he sees that that Wisconsin could get away, that that
- 31:45Speaker 1: Arizona and already got away. And so now we're going
- 31:48Speaker 1: to go to the Supreme Court, which he rushed this
- 31:51Speaker 1: woman through. He stacked a dead. Now, if these justices
- 31:57Speaker 1: are justice, which I have no whole faith in at all,
- 32:02Speaker 1: because we have we ever gotten justice beyond a Taylor,
- 32:05Speaker 1: we can go down that miss. Ye. He's already saying
- 32:11Speaker 1: we were gonna win, and all of a sudden it stopped.
- 32:15Speaker 1: This is the biggest fraud. This dude is a con man,
- 32:19Speaker 1: and America is being conned. And but they're not really
- 32:24Speaker 1: being coned. They're going along with it because they parted
- 32:27Speaker 1: the con That's true, all right, Steve, that's true. Let's
- 32:30Speaker 1: talk to the people. How about that? But the people
- 32:33Speaker 1: say you can call us and tell us how you're
- 32:35Speaker 1: feeling about this election this morning eight seven, seven twenty nine, Steve, Steve,
- 32:40Speaker 1: are you ready to take some phones? Let's go Line one.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Marlene out of Dallas. Hey, Marline to Steve Harvey. What's
- 32:48Speaker 1: going on? Darling? Good morning, Steed, Good morning. How are
- 32:53Speaker 1: y'all everybody good? What's on your mind? Marlene? So, I
- 32:58Speaker 1: just wanted to read a right like what you said.
- 33:01Speaker 1: God is in control. Not only is God in control,
- 33:04Speaker 1: he is sovereign. He hasn't not to remind myself, he
- 33:08Speaker 1: hasn't brought us this far to leave us. Now, I understand,
- 33:13Speaker 1: and I realized trumps base had grown. But I just
- 33:17Speaker 1: thought the number of COVID there, people were going to
- 33:21Speaker 1: kind of slide across the learn. But clearly that did
- 33:25Speaker 1: not happen. I thought, that's the evil and the hatred
- 33:29Speaker 1: that he spears. I thought people were going to slide
- 33:32Speaker 1: over a little bit more. But because he hasn't, he hasn't.
- 33:36Speaker 1: He's a man. He is a man. He does not.
- 33:39Speaker 1: He may have victory if he wins a lecture, but
- 33:43Speaker 1: at the end of the day, we have victory, and
- 33:46Speaker 1: it's not over until God says it's over. That's just
- 33:51Speaker 1: what I wanted to remind. I had to remind myself
- 33:54Speaker 1: of that moment when I was listening when y'all started
- 33:57Speaker 1: this morning. I was a little sad as I say,
- 34:00Speaker 1: that's okay, he in control, and I had I had
- 34:02Speaker 1: to drop my dead with Steve said there. I was like,
- 34:05Speaker 1: come on, let's do huh girl, you have a good day. Girl,
- 34:21Speaker 1: let's go to line for Stephen talked to Ryan out
- 34:24Speaker 1: of Hampton, Virginia. Hey, Ryan, this is Steve Harvey Man.
- 34:27Speaker 1: What's going on with you? Was Bill with it? Steve. Yeah, Hey,
- 34:38Speaker 1: what's on your mind? Ryan? Yes, Steve, I would just
- 34:44Speaker 1: want to say, Man, it's real scary that, you know,
- 34:47Speaker 1: we have to turn around and look at this and
- 34:50Speaker 1: see how many of these people are supporting this guy
- 34:53Speaker 1: who does nothing but spew evil and and it's real
- 34:57Speaker 1: scary that his supporters even went up a little bit. So,
- 35:00Speaker 1: you know, I just want to say to my young
- 35:02Speaker 1: black men and women, you know, we gotta keep our
- 35:04Speaker 1: heads up because you can't make excuses because we actually
- 35:09Speaker 1: see what it is right now, and it's very scary.
- 35:12Speaker 1: So even if Biden wins, all these people came out
- 35:16Speaker 1: the woodwork still loving Trump. We know what it is.
- 35:19Speaker 1: So we just got to keep keep on going and
- 35:22Speaker 1: pushing because you know, things aren't not really going to
- 35:25Speaker 1: change that much. I'm stid man, but we've gone through
- 35:30Speaker 1: so much, Ryan, We survived four hundred years of slavery.
- 35:34Speaker 1: We're gonna get past this too, whoever it is. And
- 35:37Speaker 1: we were hoping that America had come to a certain degree.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I thought after Obama a miracle was taking a turn,
- 35:44Speaker 1: but they didn't flip the script. All right, more of
- 35:48Speaker 1: your phone calls after this, you're listening, all right, Steve,
- 35:57Speaker 1: we've been sorry saying that. Yeah, we've been up all
- 36:04Speaker 1: night screaming at the tv. Right despite battleground states that
- 36:07Speaker 1: are still counting ballots, President Trump tweeted, We're up big
- 36:11Speaker 1: and they're trying to steal the election. Joe Biden meanwhile tweeted,
- 36:16Speaker 1: it is plumps or Trump's place to declare the winner
- 36:20Speaker 1: of this election. It's the voters place. How about that.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Let's go to the phone, Steve, it's time. Okay, let's
- 36:27Speaker 1: go to line Yeah, let's go to line six and
- 36:30Speaker 1: talk to Keith, who's a trucker on the interstate. Wow,
- 36:35Speaker 1: what's going on with you? Boy? Goring? Steve Man, come on,
- 36:39Speaker 1: everybody's time. Man, I need you to tell me. I
- 36:42Speaker 1: need you. But anyway, I think some of my black
- 36:45Speaker 1: voters moved over to the other side, man, because I'm
- 36:49Speaker 1: a truck and I listened to a lot of people talking,
- 36:52Speaker 1: and uh, they kind of move over to the right
- 36:54Speaker 1: man in the sense that can they make you move
- 36:57Speaker 1: money by just got more money on it. My check
- 37:01Speaker 1: didn't get them more money on it. So I don't
- 37:03Speaker 1: know how Trump tax playing helped them out. But at
- 37:06Speaker 1: the same time, Steve, I want to thank you for
- 37:09Speaker 1: inspiration this morning because I'm one of those guys that
- 37:13Speaker 1: was behind them. Bar I came out thinking the right decision.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Thank you man. That's why I'm in this truck now today. Brother.
- 37:22Speaker 1: But I used to yes, Sir, I used to be
- 37:25Speaker 1: a pie baker. I can make a street potato pie
- 37:30Speaker 1: that make it say pattle fireguard. But yeah, Steve, if
- 37:44Speaker 1: I'm living that landing now, man, so you need to
- 37:47Speaker 1: swe potato fire let me know. I on the reason
- 37:50Speaker 1: to make the Thanksgiving So I appreciate you guys every morning. Man.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I listened to y'all constantly, got me on the phone, hey,
- 38:00Speaker 1: and congratulations man on your new found success. And at
- 38:03Speaker 1: the end of the day, y'all, we're gonna keep going
- 38:05Speaker 1: to the phones. But at the end of the day,
- 38:07Speaker 1: whatever happened, you know, and Steve Harvey gonna do, I'm
- 38:10Speaker 1: gonna go give me some more God. Yeah, y'all, y'all.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Here the thing about me, it don't matter who they
- 38:17Speaker 1: put in this White House. And I'm very proud of
- 38:20Speaker 1: black people, man, I really do, because I think we
- 38:22Speaker 1: showed up in big numbers. I so I ain't even
- 38:24Speaker 1: mad at you his base increase, but let me tell
- 38:28Speaker 1: you something. His base didn't increase. My faith in God
- 38:31Speaker 1: didn't increase. Come on, his base can't do nothing with
- 38:34Speaker 1: my God. His presidency can't do nothing with my God.
- 38:38Speaker 1: And I got a scripture man that Shirley sent me.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I want to read to y'all when he come back.
- 38:42Speaker 1: That gave me a little bit more connection to it all.
- 38:45Speaker 1: We were hanging up in here, but it show would
- 38:49Speaker 1: be nice though, if Joe come on and get this
- 38:52Speaker 1: thing on up in Wisconsin. Ceazy in on Michigan. We
- 38:57Speaker 1: keep talking to you, damn about you and yourself free
- 39:00Speaker 1: caught back after that. You're listening to Steve Morning Show.
- 39:07Speaker 1: All right, we're in it now. We're in it. Okay
- 39:11Speaker 1: to win it? Uh to win it? I mean we've
- 39:15Speaker 1: been talking about it all morning. What does the Steve
- 39:19Speaker 1: I don't know. I thought I heard somebody hall. I'll
- 39:21Speaker 1: get his ass joke. It's really really close. What is
- 39:26Speaker 1: to say about us as a nation? You know what
- 39:29Speaker 1: I mean? Really character? All of those things we talked
- 39:32Speaker 1: about anyway, Steve, Yeah, let let's go to the phones
- 39:36Speaker 1: and see what's happening. Eight seven seven twenty nine. Steed,
- 39:39Speaker 1: Let's go to line one and talk to Jimmy out
- 39:41Speaker 1: of Richmond, Virginia. Hey, Jimmy out of Richmond. What's up
- 39:45Speaker 1: with you man? Good morning Steve. Steve. I'm gonna call
- 39:49Speaker 1: from a different perspective, right I was. I was on
- 39:52Speaker 1: the same bandwagon, nerd about it. Trump races races that,
- 39:56Speaker 1: no question about it. But um, I ran across the
- 39:59Speaker 1: gay a black guy. Us. When I see a black
- 40:02Speaker 1: guy with a maga hat on, an automatically think that
- 40:05Speaker 1: she word o N words. But I saw a guy
- 40:08Speaker 1: he was talking more good, more amount of language, and
- 40:10Speaker 1: he was saying some things about Trump that I couldn't
- 40:14Speaker 1: really disagree with. So I looked it up. That's what
- 40:17Speaker 1: I do. And I saw stuff like Trump signing executive
- 40:20Speaker 1: orders for the HBCUs US black Hotess funding. I saw
- 40:24Speaker 1: he um signed in a hundred billings to go in
- 40:26Speaker 1: and left behind communities. I saw him sign a Prison
- 40:29Speaker 1: Reform Act. I saw him sign a Second Sense Act,
- 40:32Speaker 1: which my own cousin I've been, I've been down to myself,
- 40:35Speaker 1: changed my life like the trucker did. I believe in
- 40:38Speaker 1: Christ and ung So anyway, my cousin was senting to
- 40:42Speaker 1: two thousand and nine. His release date was twinted thirty.
- 40:46Speaker 1: He's coming home this month because of that act that
- 40:50Speaker 1: Trump signed. So a lot of hate that Trump get
- 40:54Speaker 1: itself unpligu He got a terrible mouthp on, but I
- 40:56Speaker 1: never hear about the decent things that he'd do. That
- 40:59Speaker 1: act would benefit us, like school um what it's called
- 41:03Speaker 1: the school opportunities as he signed. Mean, if I got
- 41:07Speaker 1: four boys at a school, if I don't, if I'm
- 41:09Speaker 1: not satisfied with what they're learning that education, I can
- 41:12Speaker 1: put them in any other school. I want you to
- 41:14Speaker 1: put them over there with the other people. Look y'all
- 41:17Speaker 1: learned listening to bring that and off back to your people.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Trump actually signed that. You can both look that up
- 41:22Speaker 1: on YouTube and see not just an article. So he
- 41:25Speaker 1: does the stupid stuff, and I'm not here to defend it.
- 41:27Speaker 1: But I'm the type of guy. I did some saying
- 41:29Speaker 1: it's my life. People can can steak bad up, but
- 41:32Speaker 1: I all throwing people to speak of the good that
- 41:34Speaker 1: I do, just to be fair. And when I looked
- 41:37Speaker 1: up Biden record, Buidy record and that good, y'all. Yeah,
- 41:41Speaker 1: I do more racist stuff from Biden than Trump. And
- 41:44Speaker 1: that's just the truth for what I think personally. And
- 41:47Speaker 1: I'm not needed. I'm gonna say that you once rocking up.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I ain't feel comfortable rooting for nobody. So you know,
- 41:53Speaker 1: I prayed, and when I say I trust God, I
- 41:55Speaker 1: trust God. I said, you know what you control, I'm
- 41:57Speaker 1: gonna root for cranking time. So I set out. I
- 42:00Speaker 1: don't feel comfortable with neither one of them, even though
- 42:02Speaker 1: I stopping good team that Trump did. And I've seen
- 42:05Speaker 1: a whole lot of things that negative was bad neck
- 42:08Speaker 1: like when Bill Clinton and I'm gonna I'm gonna give
- 42:10Speaker 1: it about Bill Clinton signed that crime at Bill Um
- 42:15Speaker 1: and he apologized he knew that unjust guess what Joe
- 42:18Speaker 1: Biden wrote that and I never heard no apology. He say,
- 42:22Speaker 1: I don't care if you give him ten years, twenty years,
- 42:24Speaker 1: sixty years, fine with me. And I suffered under that
- 42:27Speaker 1: first time getting in trouble. I had a legal gun
- 42:30Speaker 1: aske a weed on it. That's why I got locked
- 42:31Speaker 1: up for and I got five years automatic. Yeah. Wow, see, brother,
- 42:38Speaker 1: I understand what you're saying, and I appreciate the phone
- 42:42Speaker 1: called Jimmy. Uh, here's a deal. The passing of the
- 42:46Speaker 1: thing for HBCU was he said, And you don't have
- 42:48Speaker 1: to keep coming back for this? Why do you keep
- 42:50Speaker 1: coming back for It was during the election year, politically
- 42:55Speaker 1: motivated and suggested by his team to look good for
- 42:58Speaker 1: black people with the HBCU think he signed it. That
- 43:02Speaker 1: was the reason why the prison reform bill. Do you
- 43:06Speaker 1: understand that Obama in his last year released thousands of
- 43:11Speaker 1: inmates from prison who were unjustly serving time for non
- 43:16Speaker 1: violet drug related offenses. Donald Trump wants to trump that
- 43:20Speaker 1: and fast prison reform bill. So a few hundred thing
- 43:23Speaker 1: got out, But that's a fact of that. The opportunity
- 43:27Speaker 1: zones is good, but because of the climate this president
- 43:30Speaker 1: has created. You look at the militias, the Proud Boys.
- 43:35Speaker 1: They don't even want us in the damn opportunity zones
- 43:38Speaker 1: because of the climate that this president has created. And
- 43:41Speaker 1: then as far as Trump being a racist, I don't
- 43:45Speaker 1: know that you can be more of a racist and
- 43:47Speaker 1: hold the presidential office. So any brother with a mega
- 43:52Speaker 1: had on blowing a horn about what he has done
- 43:56Speaker 1: for black people. If you really look at his record,
- 44:00Speaker 1: you need to check out what he has done two
- 44:02Speaker 1: black people. Brank phone call up next. You're listening, all right? Uh?
- 44:14Speaker 1: It is it is? Hey can I say something to
- 44:17Speaker 1: the last caller, Jimmy who called in. Look, man, I
- 44:21Speaker 1: appreciate your success. I really do, brother, but in your honesty,
- 44:26Speaker 1: but I want you, Jimmy, to realize one thing. Man,
- 44:29Speaker 1: we need you and we need your vote. And caller
- 44:33Speaker 1: said it best. Democracy is not a spectator sport. We
- 44:38Speaker 1: have to participate in the process. Brother, So come on, Jimmy.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I know you got hurt and you got put down
- 44:45Speaker 1: and was unjust and it was unfair, but we don't
- 44:48Speaker 1: want you to take yourself out the political process because
- 44:51Speaker 1: we're gonna get through this. Y'all trust and believe we're
- 44:54Speaker 1: gonna get through this. Did Jimmy say he didn't vote? Alright?
- 44:58Speaker 1: Alright the prank guys. Yeah, what you got for us? Now?
- 45:02Speaker 1: I got the limo driver, the limo good afternoons? How
- 45:10Speaker 1: can I hap you? I'm trying to get cecil yeah
- 45:12Speaker 1: this season, I say, some one of my boys gaming
- 45:14Speaker 1: your number. Man, I'm trying to get a car service
- 45:17Speaker 1: for the night. Okay, listen, this is my personal number.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Do you have the main number? Man? I keep calling
- 45:23Speaker 1: the main line, but there ain't nobody answer. I had
- 45:25Speaker 1: to call that about six seven times. They keep rolling
- 45:28Speaker 1: over to it like to a voicemail or say, okay, okay, brother,
- 45:30Speaker 1: what's your name? Monday? Tony? Okay, listen, Tony, I got
- 45:33Speaker 1: a customer in the back. Let me get them happy,
- 45:35Speaker 1: can you you got a few moments, I'm here. Just
- 45:37Speaker 1: let me get the dope form and all hold the phone.
- 45:40Speaker 1: All right, okay, cool, all right, thank you have a
- 45:44Speaker 1: good eating All right, Tony? Yeah, what's up? Yeah? Now
- 45:49Speaker 1: you're saying you called the main line and you just
- 45:51Speaker 1: keep going the voicemail or something like can't you call
- 45:53Speaker 1: the main line? But you know, I know I'm calling
- 45:55Speaker 1: it the last minute. I'm trying to get a get
- 45:57Speaker 1: a call for the night man. Okay, what you need? Listen,
- 46:00Speaker 1: we gotta we got the suv. We gotta us Sudan
- 46:02Speaker 1: or two. We got a couple of limits, white up black.
- 46:04Speaker 1: What you need? If I could get I guess like
- 46:07Speaker 1: a black limits. Ain't be cruel? Okay, we got that.
- 46:09Speaker 1: We got that. What time where I'm picking you up?
- 46:11Speaker 1: What time? What the cost? You know? For an hour?
- 46:13Speaker 1: Because all I need is an hour? Where's it's sixty
- 46:16Speaker 1: five hours a novel? But we only do three hour minimum.
- 46:18Speaker 1: The first three hours sixty five okay, okay, okay, see,
- 46:23Speaker 1: we'll see. See. So all I need is an hour
- 46:25Speaker 1: man really like forty five minutes. So do you think
- 46:28Speaker 1: they will work women where you can't get them? So
- 46:30Speaker 1: you're dealing with me? Let me see me. I'll tell
- 46:33Speaker 1: you what I'll do you for one hundred and fifty
- 46:36Speaker 1: dollars and I'll take k But now I want you
- 46:39Speaker 1: to know. I'm gonna let them know everything. So I
- 46:41Speaker 1: got to have either credit card or receive or something
- 46:43Speaker 1: on the KVE to let them know because I'm not
- 46:45Speaker 1: no quocket brother. I'm gonna let them know everything that
- 46:47Speaker 1: I'm doing with that fourth fight one fifty, I give
- 46:50Speaker 1: you one fifty when you pick me up, that's no problem.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Then where am I picking you up in? At? What time?

- 47:15Speaker 1: five okay, that's forty five minutes two an hour you're
- 47:19Speaker 1: gonna need then forty five to next two especially twelve

- 47:34Speaker 1: Can I ask you something tony right? Um? Yeah? And
- 47:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to get any business. You know, we don't
- 47:39Speaker 1: ask questions usually, but a banking knight's gonna be closed.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I mean, you're not going to work because I gotta

- 48:45Speaker 1: stop it. That's why I'm driving stid it working somewhere
- 48:48Speaker 1: else driving because I was ignorant like you at one time.
- 48:51Speaker 1: But let me tell you something. But I don't know

- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm not doing no crazy like this shit. Brother. Let
- 48:58Speaker 1: me tell you something, man. What you need to do
- 49:00Speaker 1: is get you young into some type of training school
- 49:04Speaker 1: or something to find yourself a job. You're gonna go

- 49:10Speaker 1: ain't really trying to hear all this lay here. What
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is playing you this one. I'm
- 49:14Speaker 1: fifty you driving me where I'm trying to go because
- 49:17Speaker 1: you ain't even back. If a brother, you can't get

- 54:15Speaker 1: I don't owe your dad's girlfriend a thing. Damn they
- 54:19Speaker 1: wanted to say something else, Yeah they did. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I have been with my boyfriend for seven years now,
- 54:27Speaker 1: and he was raised by his father and his father's
- 54:30Speaker 1: girlfriend has been a mother figure to him for the
- 54:32Speaker 1: past fifteen years. His father is a sweetheart. When you
- 54:36Speaker 1: say it, mother figure, ain't no what his father is
- 54:40Speaker 1: a sweet I wasn't gonna say nothing my kind of
- 54:48Speaker 1: letter now again, mother figures say his father's his girlfriend.
- 54:54Speaker 1: His father's girlfriend has been a mother figure to him
- 54:56Speaker 1: for the past fifteen years. His father is a sweetheart,
- 55:01Speaker 1: and it's good is nice, but I've always thought she
- 55:04Speaker 1: is kind of weird. She had a birthday recently and
- 55:06Speaker 1: my boyfriend and I were invited over to have cake
- 55:09Speaker 1: and sing Happy Birthday. I told my boyfriend we should
- 55:12Speaker 1: take her a gift, so we got her a twenty
- 55:14Speaker 1: dollar Visa gift card and stuck it in her birthday card.
- 55:18Speaker 1: We had a good time with them, and she said
- 55:20Speaker 1: she'd open her gifts later. I told her we gave
- 55:23Speaker 1: her a small gift card so she could go get
- 55:25Speaker 1: her nails done. A week went by and my boyfriend's
- 55:28Speaker 1: father called and he was upset with us. He was
- 55:31Speaker 1: yelling about his girlfriend's manicure costing seventy dollars and said
- 55:35Speaker 1: we were low down for only giving her twenty. They're
- 55:38Speaker 1: both stupid if they thought a full manicure was only
- 55:41Speaker 1: twenty dollars. And furthermore, who gets the service done without
- 55:44Speaker 1: asking how much it will cost? But they didn't, so
- 55:48Speaker 1: they told my boyfriend that he and I needed to
- 55:51Speaker 1: come up with the rest of the money. I told
- 55:53Speaker 1: him that I didn't owe his dad's girlfriend a thing.
- 55:56Speaker 1: She was yelling in the background that we ate a
- 56:00Speaker 1: dirty trick on her. I yelled back and called her stupid.
- 56:04Speaker 1: My boyfriend said he was going to keep the peace
- 56:06Speaker 1: by giving me the fifty dollars, by giving them the
- 56:09Speaker 1: fifty dollars. He took it to them, and when he
- 56:11Speaker 1: got back home I had nothing to say to him.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I'm mad that he didn't take Uh he didn't side
- 56:16Speaker 1: with me and defend me. This isn't even his mother
- 56:19Speaker 1: and his dad doesn't think enough for her to marry her,
- 56:22Speaker 1: so why would he take her side? What's up with
- 56:25Speaker 1: that interesting? Interesting letter? Uh? You wrote us a letter
- 56:32Speaker 1: about twenty dollars. Now think about that. Think about that,
- 56:36Speaker 1: because that's what this letter is about. I mean they're mad.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Don't even worry about it. I got her, Yeah, I
- 56:48Speaker 1: mean they're mad that that because you only gave her
- 56:50Speaker 1: twenty dollars. Okay, but what happened to it's the thought
- 56:54Speaker 1: that counts, isn't that you know? Isn't that the gracious
- 56:57Speaker 1: way to do things around here? Why couldn't she just
- 56:59Speaker 1: say thank you and keep it moving? Is this the
- 57:03Speaker 1: first time she's ever gotten her nails? Done because you're right,
- 57:05Speaker 1: it caused way more than twenty dollars. And yes, your
- 57:09Speaker 1: man wants to keep the peace. You were right about
- 57:11Speaker 1: that again with his dad, and that should let you
- 57:15Speaker 1: know though where you stand after seven whole years. You
- 57:19Speaker 1: should be feeling some kind of way because obviously you've
- 57:24Speaker 1: been by his side all this time, all this time,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and he sided with them. Maybe instead of being so
- 57:31Speaker 1: mad at them for not liking your gift, you should
- 57:34Speaker 1: be trying to figure out why you and your so
- 57:38Speaker 1: called man aren't married. You've been with him, they've been together,
- 57:41Speaker 1: guys for seven years, and you all aren't married, not
- 57:45Speaker 1: even an engagement nothing. You mentioned that his father hadn't
- 57:49Speaker 1: married his girlfriend after you know, a long time being together.
- 57:52Speaker 1: She's been around for fifteen years maybe like father, like son.
- 57:56Speaker 1: So you see, this letter really shouldn't be about twenty dollars.
- 58:00Speaker 1: It should be about what do you want from this relationship?
- 58:03Speaker 1: Because he has shown you, you know, when it gets
- 58:06Speaker 1: really real, what side he's on. Steve Well, this is
- 58:12Speaker 1: her bad look that she would write this letter in
- 58:16Speaker 1: on the morning like we're going through right, because I
- 58:21Speaker 1: want to open this letter with I don't give or
- 58:27Speaker 1: damn I would like to also add, in the words
- 58:33Speaker 1: of caller's beloved mother, Patricia Bolden, I could give lesson then.
- 58:42Speaker 1: So now that we've opened the letter the way, I
- 58:46Speaker 1: won't to Jimmy gone and read this letter. I've been
- 58:51Speaker 1: my boyfriend seven years now. He's raised by his father,
- 58:53Speaker 1: and his father's girlfriend been a mother figured to him
- 58:57Speaker 1: for the past fifteen years. His daddy sweetheart had a
- 59:01Speaker 1: birthday recently, and y'all saying it had birthday, had a
- 59:04Speaker 1: good time. And so you bought a twenty dollars VISA
- 59:07Speaker 1: gift card and slid it in her in her birthday card,
- 59:11Speaker 1: and you told her we gave you a small gift.
- 59:14Speaker 1: You was not lying, right, that was true giving you
- 59:18Speaker 1: a small gilt. It ain't but three bills smaller than
- 59:24Speaker 1: a twenty. That's a ten to five and a one
- 59:29Speaker 1: you gave. Huh about the foalth smallest bill? That is
- 59:36Speaker 1: all right? So you are wreck It's it's small if
- 59:41Speaker 1: you gave her a ten. I I don't even know
- 59:45Speaker 1: how I feel about this. When we come back after
- 59:47Speaker 1: this break, I'm going to do this letter the right way,
- 59:55Speaker 1: but in a very un Christian life, all right. I
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: don't feel like being that good a Christian this morning
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: because we're still talking about this damn election. I wanted
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: this to be over with part two of Steve's response
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after. We'll be back
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: let's get back to the Strawberry letter, the subject I
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: don't owe your dad's girlfriend a thing? All right, yeah,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: this letter right here, man, at this time, right here,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: it's about twenty dollars and seventy dollars. So what this
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: man that's been dating this woman for seven years and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: was raised by his father and his father's girlfriend from
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: fifteen years. Uh, the girlfriend of fifteen years to the
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: father had a birthday party. So this woman who wrote
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the letter and her boyfriend who was raised by the father,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: and the fifteen year girlfriend, they go to the birthday
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: party and then uh, you know, they went over, had birthday,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: got a kate, and then she told her boyfriend and
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I'll take him a gift. So they got a twenty
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: dollars visa card and put it in a birthday card.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: So they ant the party. They had a good time
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: and everything, and they told her the gift card was
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: so she could go get her nails done. So a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: week went by and then the boys daddy ended up
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: calling them and he was mad. He was holed at
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: him and stuff on the phone. Call His girlfriend's manicure
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: cast seventy dollars and they would low down for only
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: giving her twenty dollars. Now, the girl say they both
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: stupid if they thought a manicure was only twenty dollars. See,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: they don't see old ass people. All you heard was
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you can go down there and get a manecure. So
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: they took their old ass down now talking about we
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: want manicure here, go on my gift card, or twenty
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: dollars only get three fingers. Twenty dollars, get three fingers
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: and a baby tot. She does all you get from
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: twenty dolls. But you are now they't mad. So the
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: daddy then called and they're mad at him and they're
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: talking they about they low down. So now anyway, the
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: girl mad because who gets a service done without asking
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: how much? I'm pretty sure it's posted somewhere, and people
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: that run them nail shops they are ready and no
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: ignorant finn come in there. It's posted somewhere she just
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: sat down, pulled out her gift car. Time she ready
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: for her manicure. Well, we got twenty on it. So
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: they told a boyfriend that they told him. The father
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: and the mother told a boyfriend that he and this
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: woman that wrote this letter need to come up with
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: the rest of the money, which was seventy dollars. I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: told him that I didn't owe his dad his girlfriend
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: a damn thing. See, So really what this letter was saying,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I don't owe your funking mama step mama, which ain't
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: even your step mama, damn step mama, girlfriend, babysitter, all
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: of that something like that, because she ain't got no title.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: So I don't owe huh sugar honey ice tea, and
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: don't ask me by this sugar mine iced tea, no
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: damn more, because I don't give us sugar iced tea.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: And I'm mean that, and I mean, man, you can
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: shut the front door to me about this hill. She
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: in the background yelling talking about they played a dirty
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: trick on it. So then the girl y'all is back
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: and called her stupid. So my boyfriend said he gonna
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: keep the beach piece by the fifty dollars now, Come
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: on now, you gotta understand a man's role is to
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: solve problems. We have a problem. You got played. You
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: stupid for going down there thinking a manicure only twenty dollars.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: So he took it to him when he got back home.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: You I didn't. She didn't have nothing to say to him,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: and now she mad because he didn't side with her
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: or defend her. He what you want him to do?
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: He trying to fix the problem, just his daddy and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: the woman that raised him. You said that, so he
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: just took the fifty over there. It's no side to take.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: He took the side of the ignorant so the ignorant
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: could stop being ignorant. That's the side he took. Now
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: at this I ain't in to his mother and his dad.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Don't think enough for her to marry her. You've been
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the boyfriend for seven years? Yeah, what the hell he
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: think of you? See, be careful about throwing that that
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: rock over the fist, because that rock could come back
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: over the fist. See. So why should he take her side?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Because he trying to keep the peace. Now listen to me.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Let's be honest. You pity for sitting here arguing with
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: two old ass people over a twenty You pity, she
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: mo pity, and stupid for expecting y'all to pay for
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: the whole manicure. It was in the birthday card. It's
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: twenty dollars. We all we did was I got five
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: on it. That's all this was. Yeah, we just got
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: something on it. This your birthday? And hop you know,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: when do you get at what age is you supposed
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to stop counting what people give you for your birthday?
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: You old? You're just lucky, your ass is still a lie.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Take that twenty and be happy, be grateful somebody still
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: thinking about you. And now let me say this before
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: we get out of here, don't write us no mode
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: this week about nothing stupid because we don't have a
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: time or patience for y'all praumatized. We got this fool
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: still in the damn White House. He find go to
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: the Supreme Court because he probably gonna lose this election.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: We got all kinds of problem. Call you know, mode
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: with this sugar handed iced team. More calls after this,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: phone calls after this, you're listening morning show. Okay, back
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to election talk for a second, guys. You know a
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: couple of keynotes I'm so tired. Yeah, all right, yeah,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I just wanted to shout out democratic Rafael warn out.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, he gonna run off right now. Okay,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: all right, let's go to the phones. Okay, twenty twenty
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: just ain't it? And I'm tired of all of it? Wow,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: so tired of this boom? All right, let's go. All right,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: let's go to line one and talk to Stacy out
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: of Montgomery, Alabama. Hey, Stacy out of Montgommery, what's up
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: with you this morning? Darling? Oh, nothing much for about y'all.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Just chilling. I mean, how much time do you have?
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: We just we are we're doing is chilling and tripping.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: What's your comments? Okay, it's like, um, when he became president.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I don't like to say it's God is my president
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: now asked to leave and receiving a Now, I keep
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: reminding myself that he's like, keep asking about the same
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: thing that it means. I don't believe. So I've think
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: it's relaxing, waiting and laughing with y'all. Cool, Well, thank you,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: thank you, of course you voted. Please, all right, let's
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: go to Randy out of Brunswick, Georgia. Hey, Randy, Hey, buddy, Hey,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: what's up, man? What's going on? Ain't not much man.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I'm just like to tell y'all that, um, I'm sorry
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to say this, but you know what, I went through
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: all of this, then this pandemic. I do. I do
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: uber eat, I do uber driving, I do lift driving.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I help all these people. And Donald Trump. Ain't her
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: hair helping nobody to black people. Nobody nobody helping Ahmad Audrey.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: I mean, and in the same woman that was in
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: the condition of it, that was in all this, jee
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: went the back to reelect. So why is she in there?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: And why can't we have somebody that wants to help
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: us and be with us? Sup? Right? I understand that, Randy.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: What I'm starting to understand is we are in such
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: a tight race because Trump's base actually grew, They came
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: out of the woodwork. It's more of them who don't
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: care about the coronavirus, don't care about Black Lives Matter,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: don't care about doctor, don't cann about the wall, don't
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: can num about none of that. They believe what this
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: guy is. All Right, we'll have more of the Steve
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up in twenty minutes. I thought
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Sure, all right, Steve,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: this is the election day aftermath. We've been talking about
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: it all day. Let's go back to the phones and
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: talk to the people. Okay, a name you'll love, Line four,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Leroy out of Atlanta, all morning. Yeah, what's going on?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: What's going on? What? Lee? What's going on? Steve? Are
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: you guys doing crewe there? Long story short, A lot
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: of people are calling and they are in the weekie
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: right now. We know this present don't care nothing about us.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: That's period, Jimmy, you know, thank you Steve for handling that. Jimmy.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I was in your situation before, you know. I kept
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: the responsibility. I associalist degree and called every artist and
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I got out of there. Period. I got a financial background. Now,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: I helped families, cumpanies and I do tax free up people. Jimmy,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you could turn your life around no matter what. Don't
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: let the body put you down. Now, So we need
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the top party. How do we become the elector voters?
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Because we got to put people in there don't care
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: about us. You know we're you know and told me so,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you told everybody if you're not at the inn table.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: You must be on the menu. That's right. Wow, that's right.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: And Steve, if I can have opportunities come to your
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: mentorship camp for free, I'll show all the kids for
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: one case, really work how to become tax free, that free.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: You have to use credit cards or whatever, how to
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: use them correctly. I would love to do that for free. Hey, man,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I love to have you. I want you to just
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: go to my foundation page Harvey Foundation dot org and
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: uh put a put a note in there for the
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: director page. Love to have you, brother. Thank you man.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: That was cool. Man, All right, class for adults. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: all right. We're taking your phone calls. Eight seven seven
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: twenty nine. Steve. Let's go to line five and talk
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: to Sandra out of Miami. Steve. Oh lord, Sandraw, good,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: we're good, Sandraw. What's on your mind? Oh? They called
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: the woods. Let me carry you. I worked in the
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: poll in the Miami area and the precinct that I
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: worked at. You don't normally do about one hundred fifty
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: two hundred people. We did over five hundred people yesterday.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Let me try people just registered to vote within the
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: last two weeks. You want to come out and vote.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: M h yeah, all right, Well, you know that's everybody's
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: right to vote. I think it's it's surprising even though
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: I'm didn't shot. I just really was hoping that America
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: was would just be sick of this man's rhetoric, his tone,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: his divisiveness, his attitude, his bigotry. I just thought America
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: would be sick of that. But I found out something
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: they're not. They're not. But now there's a great chance
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: that he's going to lose this it is. It is
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: a great chance that he's going to lose this steal,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: but it doesn't negate the fact that his base grew
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: and this race really shouldn't even be this type based
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: on the person he is. I just knew this race
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: couldn't be this type, but based on the person he was,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I didn't think he was gonna win either. So the
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: ugliness of this country is showing up, and you know,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: we just got to we got to get more involved,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: more active, so we can start getting people in the
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Senate that care about us, because this is something we
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: can do. And I do think that this race is
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: this tight, but I do think black people performed in
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: this election. I really do think that way that death
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: give us the numbers on it, but I really think
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: we showed up in a great way. All right, coming
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show in twenty
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: minutes right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: All right, Steve, I have been cool this morning, trying
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: to be a leader this morning by example. But I'm
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: tired of that. If y'all don't get your eyes on that,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: damn Detroit, Troit counting right now could save us. Detroit,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Detroit couldn't save us. I want to think all of
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: the gators that I bought it, city Snickers, all the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: outfits I bought it, the damn Brown Way, and all
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: the food out of there, that sweet George Browns and
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: the Zea food spot at the Breakfast's house. That damn
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Detroit is clunting on their ass. You thought it was over,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: but Detroit say you ain't counted us yet. Yes, de Detroit,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: damn that I because the Ohio and disappointed me, the
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Mississippi of the North. I wouldn't give it, damn bout
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: on how no more? Move all my friends out of
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: that De Detroit. I told y'all that was my people
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: up there. That's why my cutout is at the football
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: game and everything. That's why I pulled for the line.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I told y'all Detroit, Detroit showing on their ass, gonna
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: mess around to not be the president because it didn't.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Black folk can Detroit. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. You're listening to show. All right, Steve,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: let's go back to the phones. Let's talk to the people.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Yeah, if you want
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: to talk to Steve, let's go to line one and
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: talk to Randy out of Dallas. Randy out of the
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: d Hey, what's going on gays top of the morning?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Go ahead, yeah, Hey, listen. Briefly, I just want to say, look,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: you know, I'm really I don't understand why we as
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: blacks are so so the disillusional about this election. We
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: should have seen this coming. Okay. This election is primarily
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: based upon white privilege and continue for them to maintain
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: control and dominance. That's what this is all about. And
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: we we continue to fall into this trap because we
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: don't have a black agenda ourselves. And at some point, guys,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: we gotta look at the fact that the black eleaders,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: the old white guard from the Democratic Party that has
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: kept us stifle for the last forty years, and we
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: have nothing to show for it. Look at our neighborhoods.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: I'm sick and tired of us always got to go
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: to white folks and beg them for something. We got
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: resources in our own community, and those who look like us,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: they are not for us. We got to start expelling
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: those people's wealth because they're they're in life part of
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the problem. Until we do that, you're going to see
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: that other groups around the country and other communities, they
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: take care of their own people. We don't do that.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: We're so busy trying to celebrate white culture, then celebrate
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: our own culture. That's why you see the results that
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: you see right now. Yeah, I agree with you, right,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: it's very factual what he's saying. You know, it's a
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: lot of ways to view this thing right here. Me personally,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: it's just sheer disappointment. It's the sheer disappointment that this
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: you know, I just kept thinking, if you look at
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: the morality of this man, that's got to be sickening
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: to people. Well, you quickly discover that that morality of
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: that man matches over half of the voting population, and
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: you have to go, wait a minute, man, you know,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: because you look, you thought when Obama won all those
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you know years back, I went, wow, man, Americans taking
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: a turn, David, because it wasn't just black people that
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: voted for Obama. But then the viciousness of the turn.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: It's what has tripped me out. And the viciousness of
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: the turn and the rhetoric from this man in the
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: White House, which proves to me that the average American
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: don't care nothing about no black lives matter, don't don't
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: care about no unifying the country. And what Randy is
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: saying it is to remain elitist. He's done. He ran
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: on what I thought was crazy. But man, that make
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: America great again? Hat embrace. It empowered white supremacist groups.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: It empowered whites who really dream of being Donald Trump,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: a playboy, bunny, a strip, a hole, U, money or ship,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: And now here they is. You got to be kidding me, man,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: last break and coming up and we'll be back right
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show who lot it? What a day?
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: What a day? Man? Talk about day? Whoa? But we
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: made it through though, thank you Jesus, it would definitely
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: uh didn't go the way. I thought it was gonna go.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Thought we'd be doing ding down the Witch is Dead
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: this morning, but we didn't. But it's cool, you know
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: which mad though. The witch is mad though? White House up.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and we're standing at the doorbell. Oh yeah,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: it's for real, you know. And I still think that
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: there is a strong possibility that he will not be
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: the president. But now he's not going to go quietly.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I don't care if he don't go quietly. It is
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: what it is. You know. You can go to the
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Supreme Court. They can't change laws. Don't worry about I
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: go down there with a couple of my boys. We'll
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: get him out that high. Don't worry about me and
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: a few of my boys. We'll get you out this high.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: And come on. Hey. Something a scripture that was sent
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: to me. Uh, it's Proverb six sixteen and nineteen. Now, look, y'all,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: at times like this, always go to my faith. I mean,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: you know, look, I'm not a perfect person. I'm not
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: a perfect Christian, and you can't follow me and make
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: it to heaven. I ain't never told you that. But
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I do have a very faith based life, and I
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: rely on that faith to get me through troubling times.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: But I also have a relationship with that faith when
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: it's going good for me too. But I just wanted
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: to share a scripture proverb six nineteen. It says there
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: to him. Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: pours out lies, and a person who stirs of conflict
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: in the community. I don't even have to read that
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: again to give me some real understanding that even though
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: we may think a person is getting away with what
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: they're getting away with, are pulling off the ultimate con
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: there is a price for that, There is a place
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: for that, there is a requirement of that. And so
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: as this race unfolds and we're still too early to
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: call it, and however it goes, I mean, God is
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: in control of my life. God is in control of
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: your life. You know, we don't have to worry about
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: these people, you know. Look, look, listen, man, I could
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: say so many things about it. How disappointed I am
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: in America. I was hoping that after the election of
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Barack Obama, that this country was turning a corner because
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: a black man was the president of the United States,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: and I never thought I'd see that in my lifetime.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I was so hoping that was the case. I was
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: so hoping it was the case on so many levels.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: But the turnaround has been so abrupt and so rather obvious,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: and touted so loudly from the top this White House
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: administration that I just began to understand even more, for
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: my faith has to be not in man, but in God.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Men are just flawed people all the way. And this
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: election right here, y'all to my listeners, listen to me.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Let's go get ourselves together. Now. Let's get focused on
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: our dreams and visions, our families, our hopes for tomorrow.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Let's get focused on our position. Now we have to vote.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Voting is our obligation to our ancestors who came over
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: here and died building this country. So we have an
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: obligation to vote. And we can still make a huge
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: dent in this vote all the way around the board.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I mean just waiting on the Michigan to finish up,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: and Pennsylvania to finish up. In Philly and the Detroit
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Wayne County to finish up and all of this stuff
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: right here. Man, this is big man, This is us
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: having a say soul, and I just firmly believe that.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: So there's an upside to all of this. But at
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the end of the day, y'all, we got to be okay.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: No matter what happens, this ain't gonna define me. Quit tripping,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: man about all these blacks for Trump. Man, they've always
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: been amongst us. They've been amongst us thinking they leaked,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: thinking if they say they for them, they'll be more accepted.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: They don't know, Man, I know I'm around well off
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: people all the time. You ain't fitting to be one.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: You're not. Now you can get your share of the pie,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: but they really prefer that you eat it over there.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: But you're not gonna come over here and sit at
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: the same table and eat with the same silver way
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: and out the same piece we eating off of. Take
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: your piece and go over there. I don't know, I
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: don't know what has to happen to get you to
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: understand that this man don't care nothing about you, never will,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: never have been. I like a lot of the callers
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: today that called in and stated a lot of things. Man,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: we got some really really smart listeners, and listen, y'all.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: We'll be back tomorrow and we'll see if we got
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: a result for you tomorrow. If not, we'll be back
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: the next day. But we're gonna stay with you. But
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: bigger than that, God is gonna stay with all of us.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I give all my fortune and future over, I put
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: it in the hands of my heavenly father. I invite
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: you to do the same. So no matter what they
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: do in the White House, don't let that get up
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: in your house, all right? Feel me? Who? Yeah, I
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: have give him my last get out and vote speech
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: of the year. Amen. Amen. For all Steve Harvey contests,
