Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: US House panel has subpoenaed Bill and Hillary Clinton for
- 0:06Speaker 1: Epstein testimony. The House oversighte Committee also issuing subpoenas for
- 0:11Speaker 1: several former attorney generals and FBI directors. Now the House
- 0:16Speaker 1: Oversite Committee, led by James Comer issuing the subpoenas to
- 0:19Speaker 1: Bill and Hillary Clinton as well as these other that
- 0:22Speaker 1: I mentioned a moment ago, as well as directors of
- 0:25Speaker 1: the FBI. What are they demanding testimony related to the
- 0:30Speaker 1: horrific crimes perpetrated.
- 0:31Speaker 2: By Jeffrey Epstein.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Now, to be very clear, these subpoenas are going to
- 0:36Speaker 1: some of the most powerful political figures of the past
- 0:41Speaker 1: three decades, and they will testify in the investigation centering
- 0:46Speaker 1: around Epstein. I want to give you the list that
- 0:50Speaker 1: was put out so that you understand who all is
- 0:53Speaker 1: going to be testifying. Those that are now under subpoena
- 0:57Speaker 1: are number one, former US Attorney General Barr. He will
- 1:01Speaker 1: give his testimony August the seventeenth or eighteenth. Then the
- 1:06Speaker 1: former US Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez August of twenty six,
- 1:10Speaker 1: Former US Attorney General Jeff Sessions August the twenty eighth,
- 1:14Speaker 1: former FBI Director Robert Mueller, September the second, former US
- 1:19Speaker 1: Attorney General Loretta Lynch September the ninth, former US Attorney
- 1:23Speaker 1: General Eric Holder September the thirtieth, Attorney General Merrick Garland
- 1:28Speaker 1: October the second, and then former FBI Director James Comy
- 1:32Speaker 1: October seventh, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton October the ninth,
- 1:37Speaker 1: and former President Bill Clinton October the fourteenth.
- 1:41Speaker 2: If you look at the subpoena timeline, it's very.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Clear this is going among both conservative and liberals, and
- 1:49Speaker 1: it seems to be building towards the big questions for
- 1:52Speaker 1: former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. In October, now,
- 1:56Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee, through Chairman Comer, the Department of
- 2:01Speaker 1: Justice for all records related to Jeffrey Epstein in accordance
- 2:05Speaker 1: with a bipartisan vote by the Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee
- 2:10Speaker 1: on July the twenty third. Now, that vote included an
- 2:13Speaker 1: amendment from Representative Summer Lee, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, to
- 2:17Speaker 1: expand the scope of the DOJ subpoena in a separate
- 2:21Speaker 1: motion that was also introduced by Representative Scott Perry, a
- 2:24Speaker 1: Republican from Pennsylvania, and then it was approved by a
- 2:28Speaker 1: voice vote. The subcommittee then directed the chairman to compel
- 2:32Speaker 1: testimony from Bill and Hillary Clinton, along with several former
- 2:37Speaker 1: US Attorney generals and FBI directors. The move is part
- 2:41Speaker 1: of the committee's quote Broader investigation into the federal government's
- 2:45Speaker 1: handling of the Epstein case and associated individuals, including Maxwell.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You'll remember her as the woman who is in prison,
- 2:54Speaker 1: Epstein's longtime accomplice who is currently serving a twenty year
- 2:59Speaker 1: sentence for sex trafficking of miners. Bill Clinton's documented interactions
- 3:06Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein also include multiple flights aboard the now
- 3:11Speaker 1: famous Loretta Express, according to his own twenty twenty four
- 3:14Speaker 1: memoir Citizen, My Life After.
- 3:17Speaker 2: The White House.
- 3:18Speaker 1: In the book, Clinton acknowledged the flights but downplayed the relationship,
- 3:22Speaker 1: writing quote, I wish I'd never met him. Epstein, also,
- 3:26Speaker 1: by the way, visited the White House at least seventeen
- 3:29Speaker 1: times alone in nineteen ninety three, during Clinton's first year
- 3:35Speaker 1: in office.
- 3:36Speaker 2: It was also reported by bright Bart News that.
- 3:39Speaker 1: The Department of Justice filed emotion in the United States
- 3:42Speaker 1: District Court for the Southern District of New York to
- 3:45Speaker 1: unseal grand jury transcripts associated with Epstein's indictment. Penning court approval.
- 3:51Speaker 1: The move, made at the direction of the Attorney General,
- 3:55Speaker 1: also comes amid mounting congressional scrutiny of the DOJ's leaderships
- 4:00Speaker 1: and present leadership, including the former FBI directors James Comy
- 4:05Speaker 1: and Robert Mueller, both of whom have been subpoena to
- 4:08Speaker 1: testify before that House Oversight Committee now. During in exchange
- 4:12Speaker 1: with the reporters on July the twenty fifth, President Trump
- 4:16Speaker 1: criticized the media for focusing on accusations against him, while
- 4:21Speaker 1: in his view, ignoring former President Clinton's connection to Jeffrey Epstein, saying, quote,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went
- 4:29Speaker 1: to the island twenty eight times. Trump said, then he said,
- 4:33Speaker 1: I never went to the island.
- 4:35Speaker 2: So here we are.
- 4:36Speaker 1: We have the actual paperwork that's been filed. These subpoenas
- 4:40Speaker 1: have been unleashed in Clinton, Comy, Garland Mueller are now
- 4:45Speaker 1: ordered to testify in the Jeffrey Epstein probe. The goal
- 4:49Speaker 1: here to finally get answers, and it is answers that
- 4:53Speaker 1: now span over a thirty year period and something that
- 4:58Speaker 1: every American deserves to hear the truth on. Are you
- 5:02Speaker 1: one of those that's just so tired of giving your
- 5:05Speaker 1: money to radical left woke companies that actually are fighting
- 5:08Speaker 1: against your values every day. Well, there are certain bills
- 5:12Speaker 1: that you pay every month that if you can go
- 5:15Speaker 1: with a conservative company, why not do it?
- 5:18Speaker 2: In fact, why not.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Go with a conservative company actually takes part of your
- 5:22Speaker 1: bill every month that you're going to pay to somebody,
- 5:24Speaker 1: and they give it back to organizations that support your
- 5:27Speaker 1: First and your Second Amendment rights, that support the rights
- 5:30Speaker 1: of unborn children, that stand with our military, are first responders,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and so many wounded warriors that need help. Well, that
- 5:40Speaker 1: bill I'm talking about is your cell phone bill. And
- 5:44Speaker 1: I've been telling you for a long time about Patriot Mobile.
- 5:47Speaker 1: But there's no better time to switch than right now.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Not only does Patriot Mobile operate on all three major
- 5:53Speaker 1: networks in this country, yeah, all three. That means you
- 5:56Speaker 1: get the same great coverage you're used to right now,
- 5:59Speaker 1: but you also make difference with every call you make
- 6:01Speaker 1: and every text you make.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And why would you want to give your mond a
- 6:04Speaker 2: big mobile?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Big Mobile has been giving big donations to democratic causes,
- 6:09Speaker 1: democratic candidates, and radical left organizations. I'm talking about organizations
- 6:14Speaker 1: that actually support abortion. That is why I want you
- 6:19Speaker 1: to switch right now to Patriot Mobile. Go ahead and
- 6:23Speaker 1: make the switch, and it's so easy. All you have
- 6:26Speaker 1: to do is simply call Patriot Mobiles one hundred percent
- 6:30Speaker 1: US based team from the comfort of your home or
- 6:32Speaker 1: your office and they'll have you activated minutes. And if
- 6:35Speaker 1: you're still locked in a contract, not a problem. Patriots
- 6:38Speaker 1: Mobile contract buyout program covers up to five hundred dollars
- 6:42Speaker 1: per device. Keep your same number, keep your phone, or
- 6:45Speaker 1: upgrade do a new one. So back to my point,
- 6:48Speaker 1: what are you waiting for? Call Patriot Mobile today and
- 6:51Speaker 1: make a difference every single day with every call you make.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot
- 7:00Speaker 1: com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot. And
- 7:04Speaker 1: if you use the promo code ferguson, you're gonna get
- 7:06Speaker 1: a free month of service on top of that. Patriotmobile
- 7:10Speaker 1: dot com slash ferguson or nine seven two Patriot. That's
- 7:14Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson nine seven to two Patriot. Now,
- 7:19Speaker 1: these accusations also come at a time where James Comer
- 7:22Speaker 1: is also investigating another major issue, and that is who
- 7:27Speaker 1: is running the White House When it clearly wasn't Joe
- 7:30Speaker 1: Biden who was ordering what to be signed with the
- 7:33Speaker 1: autopen and to the President United States of America even
- 7:37Speaker 1: know what the autopen was being used for. Well, James
- 7:40Speaker 1: Comer had this to say the other night on Fox
- 7:43Speaker 1: about that investigation.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Take a listen, let me let me shift gears here.
- 7:48Speaker 3: You're also spearheading the effort on the autopen. And there
- 7:51Speaker 3: was another set of another interview that I believe happened today.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Tell us where we're at with the latest on the autopen.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Well, we interviewed another person that worked very closely with
- 8:04Speaker 4: with Joe, Joe Biden, and uh, I'll say this, Joe
- 8:07Speaker 4: Biden apparently wasn't the only person that had a poor
- 8:10Speaker 4: memory in the in the Biden administration. I mean this,
- 8:14Speaker 4: our witness today couldn't recall anything, just like our witness
- 8:19Speaker 4: earlier from a couple of days ago, Doctor O'Connor, he
- 8:21Speaker 4: pled the fifth So, uh, you know what, what what
- 8:24Speaker 4: we've found thus far is nobody that even the ones
- 8:28Speaker 4: who we thought were in the inner circle of the
- 8:30Speaker 4: Biden White House ever saw Joe Biden. But according to
- 8:34Speaker 4: the report, Joe Biden was in the White House.
- 8:36Speaker 2: So you know, this doesn't make any sense.
- 8:38Speaker 4: It adds fuel to the fire that there was a
- 8:42Speaker 4: select few. And when I say a select few, Jason,
- 8:44Speaker 4: I'm talking about I can kill them on one hand
- 8:47Speaker 4: that were calling the shots. There's no evidence thus far
- 8:51Speaker 4: that's emerged that that Joe Biden knew anything about who
- 8:56Speaker 4: was using the auto pen or the process involved in
- 9:01Speaker 4: authorizing the use of opin. We're going to continue. We've
- 9:04Speaker 4: got more names to bring in for depositions. Obviously, we're
- 9:07Speaker 4: going to get to the Ron claims and maybe I
- 9:10Speaker 4: or maybe there'll be people in the Biden's family, immediate
- 9:13Speaker 4: family that'll be implicated in this.
- 9:14Speaker 2: We're going to bring them all in and we're.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Gonna get the truth to the American people. And if
- 9:18Speaker 4: Joe Biden's name was was forged on these executive orders
- 9:22Speaker 4: and these pardons, then those executive orders and pardons are
- 9:26Speaker 4: going to face a tough future in a court of law.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Let's go to the very last thing you just heard
- 9:32Speaker 1: James Comer saying. He said, if Joe Biden's name was
- 9:34Speaker 1: forged on these executive orders and these pardons, then those
- 9:38Speaker 1: executive orders and pardons are going to face a tough
- 9:41Speaker 1: future in a court of law. Why did he say
- 9:44Speaker 1: it that way, because I think he believes, and many
- 9:47Speaker 1: others believe now that the President United Its America had
- 9:50Speaker 1: no idea what his name was being signed to, including
- 9:55Speaker 1: many of those clemency and pardons that were signed remaining
- 10:00Speaker 1: hours of his presidency. We also know there may be
- 10:04Speaker 1: executive orders or even legislation that was signed by the
- 10:08Speaker 1: auto pen that the president had no idea it was
- 10:12Speaker 1: even happening. This is why so many are taking the fifth,
- 10:16Speaker 1: including the former president of the United States of America's
- 10:20Speaker 1: own doctor, who wouldn't answer basic questions when asked before Congress.
- 10:25Speaker 1: So if you look at what's happening right now with
- 10:28Speaker 1: James Comer, it's pretty clear now he's on the offense
- 10:32Speaker 1: and demanding to get answers on these major issues that
- 10:37Speaker 1: Americans are asking real questions about. As for the Democrats,
- 10:41Speaker 1: they should be terrified because now finally their abusive power, well,
- 10:45Speaker 1: they're going to have to face the music for exactly
- 10:48Speaker 1: what they did to Donald Trump and running a country
- 10:52Speaker 1: with a president that didn't know what was even going on.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Donald Trump promised that he was going to put America first,
- 10:59Speaker 1: and he promised that he was going to do it,
- 11:01Speaker 1: especially when it came to trade deals where America was
- 11:04Speaker 1: being taken advantage of by countries literally all over the world,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and he was going to do it by imposing more
- 11:10Speaker 1: tariffs to make it fair trade. He was tired of
- 11:13Speaker 1: American jobs disappearing, American manufacturing disappearing, and again America just
- 11:20Speaker 1: being taken advantage of by countries that had no problem
- 11:23Speaker 1: importing their goods in the US, but weren't even taking
- 11:26Speaker 1: our goods and even in places like the UK.
- 11:29Speaker 2: A strong ally of ours.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Well, now we're hearing that Donald Trump could impose more
- 11:35Speaker 1: tariffs on China over Russian oil. But here's the point
- 11:41Speaker 1: that I want to make before we get to that
- 11:43Speaker 1: the media was wrong. They claimed it was all doom
- 11:46Speaker 1: and gloom, that the tariffs weren't going to work, that
- 11:48Speaker 1: it was going to be bare shelves for the Americans
- 11:51Speaker 1: as you went to your favorite store to get basic necessities,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and that it was going to put us into a recession.
- 11:58Speaker 1: None of that happened. Larry Kudlow at Fox News Channel
- 12:02Speaker 1: saying this.
- 12:02Speaker 5: Yeah, and you know, I remember when everyone said the
- 12:06Speaker 5: market would crash, inflation would skyrocket because of these terroriffs,
- 12:10Speaker 5: but that's not what's happening. And now you've got billions
- 12:13Speaker 5: of dollars coming in. Larry, I want to go. I
- 12:15Speaker 5: want to give it here because yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 6: That's an important point though, just to you know, we're
- 12:21Speaker 6: thirty seconds here. All the gloom and doom, tariff inflation,
- 12:26Speaker 6: tariff for session, tariff catastrophe, none of that has happened. Okay.
- 12:32Speaker 6: And in fact, as you noted earlier, the tariff revenues
- 12:36Speaker 6: are pouring in. Okay, he can do as much as
- 12:39Speaker 6: four hundred billion this year alone in tariff revenues. Imports
- 12:46Speaker 6: from China, or let's say, Chinese exports to the United States,
- 12:51Speaker 6: all right, their lowest point in over twenty years. Our
- 12:55Speaker 6: trade deficit through June is at its lowest point in
- 12:59Speaker 6: the last two years. Okay. These are all positives. And
- 13:04Speaker 6: basically what he's saying is he wants a level playing
- 13:07Speaker 6: field and he wants to protect the American economy. People
- 13:10Speaker 6: have been taking advantage of the United States and that's
- 13:13Speaker 6: coming to an end now. Instead of warfare, you know,
- 13:17Speaker 6: set of retaliation or the so called world tariff war, no,
- 13:22Speaker 6: it's deal making, deal making everywhere. The deal maker in
- 13:26Speaker 6: chiefe place, Yes, exactly, and you know a place like Japan,
- 13:32Speaker 6: which is difficult, or South Korea which is difficult, or
- 13:35Speaker 6: the European Union which is difficult. So I would say
- 13:39Speaker 6: he's gotten off to a great start on this policy.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Not only has he got off to a great start,
- 13:45Speaker 1: but other countries are starting to come to the table
- 13:47Speaker 1: quickly to make sure they get their deal done as
- 13:51Speaker 1: fast as they can.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Now.
- 13:52Speaker 1: The President has also talked about what he's going to
- 13:55Speaker 1: do with pharmaceuticals, making it clear that he's going to
- 13:58Speaker 1: be putting tariffs on pharmaceuticals. Why because he wants the
- 14:03Speaker 1: made in our country and not us depending on other
- 14:06Speaker 1: nations like China from a national security standpoint. Listen to
- 14:10Speaker 1: President on CNBC on.
- 14:11Speaker 7: That chips We'll be putting a initially small tariff on pharmaceuticals,
- 14:17Speaker 7: but in one year one and a half year's maximum,
- 14:20Speaker 7: it's going to go to one hundred and fifty percent, and.
- 14:23Speaker 8: Then it's going to go to two hundred and fifty.
- 14:25Speaker 7: Percent because we want pharmaceuticals.
- 14:28Speaker 8: Made in our country.
- 14:29Speaker 7: And that's not the chipsack like Biden did because he
- 14:32Speaker 7: didn't know what he was doing, where they gave billions
- 14:34Speaker 7: of dollars to companies that had more money than they.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Knew what to do with, Which brings me to the
- 14:40Speaker 1: new point that Donald Trump is making the new frontier
- 14:43Speaker 1: on tariffs. We're now being told from the White House
- 14:47Speaker 1: the President Trump is now saying he will announce further
- 14:50Speaker 1: tariffs on China, similar to the twenty five percent duties
- 14:54Speaker 1: announced earlier on India over its purchases of Russian depending
- 15:01Speaker 1: on what happens. He said, it could happen, Trump told
- 15:04Speaker 1: reporters after saying he expected to announce more secondary sanctions
- 15:08Speaker 1: aimed at pressuring Russia to end its war in Ukraine,
- 15:12Speaker 1: he said, quote, it may happen.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I can't tell you yet.
- 15:16Speaker 1: We did it with India, We're doing it probably with
- 15:19Speaker 1: a couple of others.
- 15:20Speaker 2: One of them could be China.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Trump on Wednesday imposed an additional twenty five percent tariff
- 15:27Speaker 1: on Indian goods, on top of a twenty five percent
- 15:31Speaker 1: tariff announced previously, citing its continued purchases of Russian oil. Now,
- 15:37Speaker 1: the White House order did not mention China, which is
- 15:41Speaker 1: another big purchaser of Russian oil. Last week, the Treasury
- 15:45Speaker 1: Secretary Scott Dessent warned China that it could also face
- 15:50Speaker 1: new tariffs if it continued buying the Russian oil. So
- 15:54Speaker 1: China is also responding to this as well, and there
- 15:58Speaker 1: is escalation between the two countries as China pushes back
- 16:03Speaker 1: at the US with their own comments against the president.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Here's what they said. China quote will.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Always ensure its energy supply in ways that serves our
- 16:13Speaker 1: national interests, is what the Chinese Foreign Ministry posted on
- 16:17Speaker 1: acts following two days of trade negotiations in Stockholm. Responding
- 16:23Speaker 1: to the US threat of one hundred percent tariff coercion
- 16:27Speaker 1: and pressuring will not achieve anything. China will firmly defend
- 16:31Speaker 1: its sovereignty, security and development interest, the ministry went on
- 16:35Speaker 1: to say. Now the response is notable at a time
- 16:38Speaker 1: when both Beijing and Washington are signaling optimism and goodwill
- 16:44Speaker 1: between the two countries when it comes to well getting
- 16:47Speaker 1: a deal done after climbing down from sky high tariffs
- 16:51Speaker 1: and harsh trade restrictions.
- 16:53Speaker 2: It also underscores China's.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Confidence in playing hardball, the country says when dealing with
- 16:59Speaker 1: President Trump in his administration, especially when trade is linked
- 17:03Speaker 1: to its energy and foreign policies. The president saying I'm
- 17:07Speaker 1: not afraid and making it clear that if you're buying
- 17:10Speaker 1: from Russia, it's going to be a problem for the
- 17:14Speaker 1: United States of America, which brings us to the bigger picture,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and the question is what can you expect from new
- 17:21Speaker 1: tariffs on imported goods? Well, American businesses and consumers will
- 17:25Speaker 1: soon have a better idea of how President Donald Trump's
- 17:29Speaker 1: foreign trade agenda might actually affect you directly. What US
- 17:33Speaker 1: customers can expect from the new tariffs on imported goods.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Is also something that the Associated.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Press is saying is quote turning real American businesses and
- 17:42Speaker 1: the consumers, they say, will have a better idea of
- 17:45Speaker 1: how President Donald Trump's foreign trade agenda will affect them
- 17:49Speaker 1: when the imposed higher tariffs on products from dozens of
- 17:52Speaker 1: countries hit the shelves.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Now, it's been nearly one hundred years since the.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Nation had an overall import tax rate as high as
- 18:00Speaker 1: the one set today, but the individual impact on businesses, costs,
- 18:05Speaker 1: and consumer prices could vary as much as the tariffs
- 18:09Speaker 1: applied to goods of nearly seventy US trading partners from
- 18:15Speaker 1: complicated economies like the European Union to small African nations
- 18:19Speaker 1: as well experts from a majority of them are getting
- 18:23Speaker 1: tax at fifteen percent. For a handful of countries in
- 18:27Speaker 1: Asia the rate is nineteen percent.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Products from the rest of the world.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Are subjected to taxes of twenty to fifty percent. Meanwhile,
- 18:35Speaker 1: there's still a fifty five percent tariff on Chinese made.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Goods as scheduled to take effect next.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Week if a US China trade deal has not agreed
- 18:44Speaker 1: to on or before then. Now, businesses in the US
- 18:49Speaker 1: and abroad have been dealing in various ways since February
- 18:53Speaker 1: with the tariffs. But what we found is that many
- 18:56Speaker 1: Americans are happy with what they're seeing in the stores
- 19:00Speaker 1: because many companies are actually absorbing the costs for now.
- 19:04Speaker 1: A great example of that is automakers. They appear to
- 19:08Speaker 1: be leading the pack and have absorbed the costs at
- 19:11Speaker 1: this point instead of passing it on to you the consumer. Now,
- 19:15Speaker 1: recent government data indicated that retail prices for groceries, furniture,
- 19:20Speaker 1: and appliances have started to creep up minimally in June,
- 19:25Speaker 1: far less than what the experts claimed when they said
- 19:28Speaker 1: there was going to be doom and gloom. Because tariffs
- 19:31Speaker 1: arery tax on imports, economists had expected US customers to
- 19:35Speaker 1: foot the bill and guess what.
- 19:37Speaker 2: That is not what has happened at all.
- 19:40Speaker 1: The projections were all based on analysis of duties implemented
- 19:44Speaker 1: this year through Wednesday, and they said it was going
- 19:47Speaker 1: to be terrible. But the actual price increases a bit
- 19:51Speaker 1: about one point eight percent in the short term, and
- 19:55Speaker 1: the US government has been collecting billions from the countries
- 19:59Speaker 1: at the president decided to put tariffs on so at
- 20:02Speaker 1: the end of the day, as President Trump unveiled the
- 20:05Speaker 1: sweeping import tax on goods coming into the US from
- 20:08Speaker 1: sixty six countries, the European Union, Taiwan, the Falkland Islands
- 20:13Speaker 1: in April, what did he say? He said, the reciprocal
- 20:16Speaker 1: tariffs were meant to boost domestic manufacturing.
- 20:19Speaker 2: That has happened.
- 20:20Speaker 1: It's also meant to restore fairness to global trade.
- 20:23Speaker 2: That has also happened. And here's the point that matters
- 20:27Speaker 2: to you.
- 20:28Speaker 1: The present pause the country specific tariffs a week later,
- 20:31Speaker 1: but applied to ten percent tax to most imports.
- 20:34Speaker 2: In early July.
- 20:36Speaker 1: He began notifying countries that their exports would be subject
- 20:39Speaker 1: to higher tariffs on August one unless they reached the
- 20:42Speaker 1: trade deals. A week ago, he pushed the start date
- 20:46Speaker 1: to Thursday. So here we are, it is Thursday, and
- 20:51Speaker 1: it's real. In the meantime, trump Is also announced a
- 20:54Speaker 1: thirty five percent tariff on imports from Canada, but delayed
- 20:58Speaker 1: action on Mexico while negotiating continue. However, a free trade
- 21:02Speaker 1: agreement reached with Mexico and Canada during Terump's first term
- 21:06Speaker 1: shields most of those countries' products from punishing duties. The
- 21:11Speaker 1: president also ordered a fifty percent tariffs on goods from
- 21:14Speaker 1: Brazil this week. He also's on executive order to take
- 21:17Speaker 1: India's tar freight from twenty five to fifty percent, all
- 21:20Speaker 1: because of, as I mentioned earlier, the purchases of Russian oil.
- 21:25Speaker 1: So the President's not playing. And what we now know
- 21:28Speaker 1: is the President's telling you the truth. If you're one
- 21:30Speaker 1: of these countries around the world, you either come to
- 21:33Speaker 1: the table and get a real deal done or it
- 21:36Speaker 1: is going to hurt your country more than America. As
- 21:39Speaker 1: for the President, he has the backing of the American people.
- 21:43Speaker 1: New pulling data shows, and that's exactly why the President's
- 21:46Speaker 1: continuing to keep the course because the tariffs seem to
- 21:49Speaker 1: be working. I want to get you an update on
- 21:53Speaker 1: where we are in the economy, what's happening. We've seen
- 21:56Speaker 1: a lot of movement recently with Wall Street and a
- 21:58Speaker 1: lot of arguing in fire over interest rates where they
- 22:02Speaker 1: should be the Fed chairman back and forth.
- 22:05Speaker 2: And then the tariff issue.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Joining me now to talk about all of this is
- 22:09Speaker 1: Kurt Elliott. He's the founder of Kurt Elliott Precious Metals.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You can find them online at k E p M
- 22:16Speaker 1: dot com KPM dot com.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Kurt, always a pleasure to have you on.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Let's talk about where we are when it comes to
- 22:24Speaker 1: this economy and what it's been doing in relation to
- 22:26Speaker 1: gold and silver. We've seen a lot of fighting over
- 22:28Speaker 1: interest rates. We've seen a lot of fighting over tariffs
- 22:31Speaker 1: as well. We've seen a lot of movement in the
- 22:33Speaker 1: market over the last several weeks and that has actually
- 22:36Speaker 1: push gold prices up since last time I had you
- 22:39Speaker 1: on seventy plus dollars if I'm not mistaken, and silver's
- 22:42Speaker 1: gone up as well.
- 22:44Speaker 8: Yeah. I mean, gold and silver ben respond to turmoil
- 22:49Speaker 8: and chaos and uncertainty, and we're seeing this amazing growth
- 22:54Speaker 8: in gold and silver without without the biggest thing that's
- 22:58Speaker 8: actually going to cause their growth, which are actually be
- 23:00Speaker 8: lowering interest rates, right, so we're seeing growth before that happens,
- 23:05Speaker 8: and that is going to happen, you know, when you
- 23:08Speaker 8: look at the economy and you look at the amazing
- 23:11Speaker 8: things Trump is doing to actually grow our economy set
- 23:15Speaker 8: us up for success rather than failure. A big thing
- 23:20Speaker 8: happened just earlier today when when Stephen Mirin, you know,
- 23:25Speaker 8: head of the Council for Economic Advisors, was basically Trump's
- 23:29Speaker 8: going to put him in to the vacant seat that
- 23:32Speaker 8: Kogler had at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Which
- 23:36Speaker 8: is this battle, right, there's this battle between Jerome Powell
- 23:40Speaker 8: and President Trump on Trump says, you've got a lower
- 23:43Speaker 8: interest rate to stimulate this economy, and Powell says, no,
- 23:46Speaker 8: I'm not, you know, for whatever reason, political differences, who knows.
- 23:50Speaker 8: But placing somebody in there who's basically going to pro America,
- 23:57Speaker 8: pro US citizen, lower interests rates to make mortgages cheaper,
- 24:01Speaker 8: stimulate the economy, grow things is going to be so
- 24:04Speaker 8: good for the economy, bend so incredibly good because right now,
- 24:10Speaker 8: as I look at it as an economist, there's two
- 24:14Speaker 8: things that basically the president can do. Two things that
- 24:18Speaker 8: the Federal Reserve can do to grow the economy, right
- 24:22Speaker 8: the President Congress. That's fiscal policy. They can lower taxes
- 24:27Speaker 8: to grow the economy, which Trump is doing. Or you
- 24:30Speaker 8: can have productive government spending. I want to say productive
- 24:34Speaker 8: because there's a lot of government spending that's not so.
- 24:38Speaker 8: When you have productive government spending increases aggregate demand, lower taxes.
- 24:42Speaker 8: That grows the economy. What does the Fed do to
- 24:45Speaker 8: grow the economy. That's monetary policy. They can print money,
- 24:49Speaker 8: which they are printing money, you know, kind of like
- 24:52Speaker 8: field of dreams. Build it and they will come. You
- 24:54Speaker 8: print money, people are going to spend it. But the
- 24:57Speaker 8: other way to grow the economy is lower interest rates.
- 24:59Speaker 8: They are not You don't have all four of these
- 25:03Speaker 8: levers working at the same time, which is why Trump
- 25:06Speaker 8: has massive political headwinds to deal with. Which what happened
- 25:11Speaker 8: this morning with the new appointment to the Board of Governors,
- 25:14Speaker 8: This could be very, very good for the US economy.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Ben Well, I was gonna ask me, you talk about
- 25:20Speaker 1: this appointment, what does that mean for the average person listening.
- 25:24Speaker 8: So for the average person listening, you've got these seven
- 25:27Speaker 8: people that are on the Board of Governors, and they
- 25:29Speaker 8: vote for policy at the federal reserve level. So even
- 25:33Speaker 8: if Trump is fighting against Jerome Powell, right, it's like, well,
- 25:37Speaker 8: maybe he doesn't have to focus so much on fighting
- 25:39Speaker 8: with Jerome Powell if he has another person on board
- 25:43Speaker 8: that could be the deciding vote on saying well, let's
- 25:46Speaker 8: just lower interest rates. Right, So maybe this is going
- 25:50Speaker 8: to push them over the edge to actually do something
- 25:53Speaker 8: that's actually really really good for the American consumer, to
- 25:57Speaker 8: stimulate the economy, bring jobs back to America. Which, boy,
- 26:01Speaker 8: the tariffs that we're seeing, Ben this is when after
- 26:07Speaker 8: win after win, that Trump is just like doing such
- 26:12Speaker 8: amazing things. I mean, I can't believe that he got
- 26:17Speaker 8: Europe to say, yeah, fifteen percent tariff on of European
- 26:22Speaker 8: goods coming in, zero percent on US goods going there,
- 26:26Speaker 8: and then committing to buying seven hundred and fifty billion
- 26:29Speaker 8: dollars worth of energy in America. It's like wow. And
- 26:32Speaker 8: the same thing with Japan fifteen percent tariff on Japanese goods,
- 26:35Speaker 8: zero percent on Americans going in. And how about the
- 26:38Speaker 8: fifty percent tariff on India if they continue buying Russian
- 26:43Speaker 8: energy products. It's like, oh, my words, Trump is not
- 26:46Speaker 8: messing around when he's using this as a negotiating tool
- 26:50Speaker 8: to not just bring money back into America, have other
- 26:54Speaker 8: countries basically put our tax bill, right, That's that's what
- 26:57Speaker 8: tariffs are all about. But what he's doing is he's
- 27:01Speaker 8: leveling the playing field that's been so unfair for so long.
- 27:06Speaker 8: And I've never been so excited about the future of America,
- 27:11Speaker 8: the economic growth that's coming. And when you think about it,
- 27:15Speaker 8: how do we invest during times of economic growth? Tangible
- 27:19Speaker 8: assets go up a lot. Silver. The demand for silver
- 27:22Speaker 8: is going to go through this ceiling then, because it's
- 27:26Speaker 8: going to be used for more solar and electric vehicles
- 27:29Speaker 8: and battery technology, and military industrial complex and nuclear power
- 27:34Speaker 8: and all of the demand and AI. Right, it's like
- 27:37Speaker 8: there's a lot of demand, which will be even more
- 27:41Speaker 8: as the economy grows.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is incredible to witness this right now,
- 27:46Speaker 1: and you look at it, these numbers, they keep hitting
- 27:50Speaker 1: these highs. Certainly on the gold side, I mean we're
- 27:52Speaker 1: almost at thirty four hundred ounce. Silver is actually many believe,
- 27:57Speaker 1: one hell of a deal right now at around thirty
- 27:59Speaker 1: eight and ounce because of how much of it is
- 28:03Speaker 1: going to be needed, as you just mentioned, and when
- 28:05Speaker 1: you look at this. For people that are listening right now,
- 28:08Speaker 1: is it insane to think, hey, maybe I want to
- 28:11Speaker 1: go more into silver. It just seems like it might
- 28:13Speaker 1: be a better value.
- 28:15Speaker 8: It's it's not insane, it is it actually is a
- 28:17Speaker 8: better value. That's why as a firm, we're allocated more
- 28:20Speaker 8: into silver, because with gold you have this flight for
- 28:25Speaker 8: quality type demand. Right, the worst things get, the more
- 28:28Speaker 8: unstable they are, the more inflationary pressures you have, the
- 28:31Speaker 8: more geopolitical conflict, the better gold does. But it's a
- 28:35Speaker 8: financial metal. Silver has all of those characteristics as well,
- 28:39Speaker 8: but it also has industrial demand. It's used in electronics
- 28:44Speaker 8: and all the chips that are used for AI and
- 28:46Speaker 8: cryptocurrency mining and all this other stuff. Like, you've got
- 28:49Speaker 8: this whole extra element of demand that you have that
- 28:53Speaker 8: you don't have with gold. But here's the thing, economics,
- 28:57Speaker 8: one on one, let's just boil it down to simplicity.
- 28:59Speaker 8: When you have more demand and less supply, prices go up. Right,
- 29:04Speaker 8: Which is why we're allocated so heavily into silver, is
- 29:09Speaker 8: to actually minimize people's risk. Right, You minimize risk by
- 29:14Speaker 8: going into the thing that's going to grow and outperform
- 29:17Speaker 8: the market. Now, not God. I don't control things. I
- 29:20Speaker 8: can't make guarantees right, But all the fundamentals that are
- 29:24Speaker 8: pushing gold and silver up, I don't see them stopping
- 29:27Speaker 8: or slowing down anytime real soon.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Let's talk also about where we're going to go with
- 29:33Speaker 1: this economy and what can happen there. It seems that
- 29:37Speaker 1: almost everybody out there is saying the idea that we
- 29:40Speaker 1: were going into recession is now a dead idea. And
- 29:44Speaker 1: now that's where you're seeing Wall Street, I think take
- 29:46Speaker 1: off and people are looking at big opportunities now.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Is that something that also excites you as well?
- 29:53Speaker 8: It very much excites me because what we're seeing for
- 29:56Speaker 8: the first time and literally since like maybe nineteen thirteen,
- 30:02Speaker 8: you know, because back then he had the irs. The
- 30:04Speaker 8: Federal Reserve came into a fact that the Federal Reserve
- 30:07Speaker 8: Act is now with Trump issuing stable coins, the Genius Act,
- 30:12Speaker 8: the Stable Colin Act. What are people doing they're saying
- 30:16Speaker 8: by them saying, I like cryptocurrency. Stable coins are a
- 30:20Speaker 8: way to actually invest in the US dollar outside of
- 30:23Speaker 8: this paper money that the Federal Reserve is printing, because
- 30:26Speaker 8: it can be issued by tether or circle or PayPal.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:31Speaker 8: Stable coins are blockchain versions of US dollars creates demand.
- 30:37Speaker 8: And if Trump gets his way and allows for real
- 30:40Speaker 8: estate and cryptocurrency to go into four oh one KSE,
- 30:44Speaker 8: this is going to open up the door to alternative assets,
- 30:48Speaker 8: to a way of people thinking, Wow, I didn't trust
- 30:51Speaker 8: banks before, I didn't trust the government, but look what
- 30:53Speaker 8: Trump is doing. He's giving me options to invest the
- 30:57Speaker 8: way that I want to. And when you start to
- 31:00Speaker 8: see people moving away from the assets that they've known
- 31:05Speaker 8: since nineteen thirteen, paper based money printed by FIAT to
- 31:10Speaker 8: something that's different like gold and silver or decentralized blockchain
- 31:14Speaker 8: and cryptocurrency, that's a pendulum shifting moment which I think
- 31:19Speaker 8: we're going to be at the forefront of a new
- 31:21Speaker 8: digital economy, a new alternative asset economy that's going to
- 31:25Speaker 8: be just different than what we've known for the last
- 31:28Speaker 8: hundred plus years. And I'm excited about that because we're
- 31:31Speaker 8: going to be at the forefront of it.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it really is incredible.
- 31:35Speaker 1: If you want to find out more about what all
- 31:37Speaker 1: they do at Kurt Elliott Precious Metals their company, I use,

- 32:10Speaker 1: k e PM dot com.
- 32:13Speaker 2: And when I say they're.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Just real simple, one of the things I love is Kurt,
- 32:17Speaker 1: you guys actually tell everyone what you are going to
- 32:20Speaker 1: what the transaction looks like. If you're buying gold or silver,
- 32:23Speaker 1: you know exactly what you're paying over the spot price
- 32:26Speaker 1: right now, and when you go to sell it, you
- 32:28Speaker 1: guys don't take a huge fee. That's why I love
- 32:31Speaker 1: the honesty and transparency. So thanks for doing that way
- 32:33Speaker 1: as well.
- 32:35Speaker 8: Oh you are so welcome. You know it is simple
- 32:38Speaker 8: eight percent. You purchased zero percent when you liquidate. If
- 32:41Speaker 8: anyone's trying to sell you high grade rare coins that
- 32:43Speaker 8: are super expensive and high premium, if you tried to
- 32:46Speaker 8: buy that from us, I would send you back and
- 32:47Speaker 8: it's like I don't sell those, it's not a good investment.
- 32:51Speaker 8: So bullion only, low cost transparency, Wow, that's how you
- 32:56Speaker 8: grow and compound your ounces and gain wealth.
- 33:00Speaker 2: There you go. I love it.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Check them out online k E p M dot com.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Kurt always a pleasure. Thank you, sir, don't forget Share
