- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out to turn to turn the water to the water. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby now. Uh huh, I shore will
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me nine one and all its Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show, Man one more time. Steve Harvey
- 2:13Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, I do, man, I thank
- 2:16Speaker 1: God for it every day. You know. Um, my message
- 2:21Speaker 1: this morning, man is real clear. It's something that's been
- 2:24Speaker 1: on me to share, and it's it's amazing. You know, Um,
- 2:33Speaker 1: God can do some amazing things for you. But what
- 2:38Speaker 1: happens along the way is and I don't know that
- 2:41Speaker 1: I mean to say, but but the fact that God
- 2:45Speaker 1: can do some amazing things for you, that comes adversity
- 2:49Speaker 1: along with it. Every single time, it just goes without saying.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And I've I was having a fairly I mean well
- 3:05Speaker 1: not fairly, but a hugely successful week I had never
- 3:09Speaker 1: seen this type of hatred before. I hadn't seen it.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And it's it's a great trick that the devil does.
- 3:18Speaker 1: You know, when when God is blessing you and giving
- 3:21Speaker 1: you some some some great opportunities in your life, as
- 3:25Speaker 1: all of you have gone through, and it is. Isn't
- 3:27Speaker 1: it amazing how some negative thing crops up? And that's
- 3:31Speaker 1: what you have to focus on. I found out that
- 3:35Speaker 1: I don't have to, but you wind up focusing on it,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and your energy goes over to that to try to
- 3:41Speaker 1: deal with it, counteract. Wonder why I was happening. You
- 3:44Speaker 1: gotta make phone calls, what was this about? Blah blah
- 3:47Speaker 1: blah blah blah, and and and it, and it throws
- 3:50Speaker 1: you off the course you are on the beginning of
- 3:53Speaker 1: the week, I was so grateful, I was so amazed.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I was really thanking God for opportunity. But this brief moment,
- 4:01Speaker 1: the enemy slides this little factor in there that causes
- 4:06Speaker 1: you to and it requires your attention. You have to
- 4:09Speaker 1: pay an attention because you don't know what you're going. Wow, man,
- 4:12Speaker 1: let me see what this could really be. How much
- 4:15Speaker 1: dirt is this really that they're trying to do? And
- 4:18Speaker 1: so it requires your attention, but in that attention, you
- 4:23Speaker 1: lose your focus on really all the blessings and the
- 4:26Speaker 1: good thing that God does for you. That the enemy
- 4:30Speaker 1: has an amazing trick that he does that. And it
- 4:33Speaker 1: was and it was in my head. I gotta tell
- 4:35Speaker 1: y'all all week long, man, and I was doing some
- 4:38Speaker 1: amazing stuff. I was having such a blessed week, man,
- 4:42Speaker 1: in terms of press and pr and where God was
- 4:45Speaker 1: taking me. And then when I got back, I was
- 4:49Speaker 1: talking with my wife, and then I was talking to
- 4:52Speaker 1: a good friend of ours and they shared something that
- 4:58Speaker 1: really helped me out. And they said to me, new level,
- 5:04Speaker 1: new devil. You know it's it's it's something really simple,
- 5:09Speaker 1: but new level new devil. Every time you go to
- 5:13Speaker 1: another level, every time you go a little bit higher,
- 5:18Speaker 1: every time God has a blessing in store for you,
- 5:22Speaker 1: every time He moves you in position. Do you understand
- 5:26Speaker 1: that the enemy's job is to make you not see
- 5:29Speaker 1: the blessing, make you not be grateful for it, lose
- 5:33Speaker 1: your focus and focus on this that I just threw
- 5:36Speaker 1: in your way, this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery,
- 5:41Speaker 1: And man, I was, I was, I got you. I
- 5:43Speaker 1: just gotta tell you, man, I mean, it was so
- 5:46Speaker 1: filled with hatred that I had to I really spent
- 5:49Speaker 1: some time addressing it. I you know, I got publicists
- 5:52Speaker 1: on the phone. I said, what's what's happening here? Y'all
- 5:54Speaker 1: not watching this? Y'all not what what was? What was
- 5:57Speaker 1: this attack? You knew that you didn't know these angles?
- 5:59Speaker 1: What was? And you know, Steve Chill, new level, new devil.
- 6:06Speaker 1: If you get a promotion on your job, guess what.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Somebody ain't happy that you got the promotion. So here
- 6:13Speaker 1: come to hey. You don't even you don't even really
- 6:15Speaker 1: know these people. You have no idea. Every time you
- 6:20Speaker 1: make a decision to make your relationship with your spouse better, man,
- 6:25Speaker 1: this is it. You know what I'm gonna start doing.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this, man, so me and my girl
- 6:29Speaker 1: can go on and have this on. Me and my
- 6:31Speaker 1: man can go on and have this. Watch what happened
- 6:34Speaker 1: every single time? Here comes the new level, the new devil,
- 6:40Speaker 1: the trick. You don't need to do that, what you're
- 6:42Speaker 1: doing that for her? She don't appreciate it. He ain't
- 6:44Speaker 1: gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look at that
- 6:47Speaker 1: right there. Ain't he nothing? You know, he missed, he
- 6:49Speaker 1: didn't call you, And he said, it's gonna all types
- 6:52Speaker 1: of stuff. It just happens all the time. And I
- 6:55Speaker 1: was sitting here talking with this friend, really good friend,
- 6:57Speaker 1: very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:04Speaker 1: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:08Speaker 1: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:12Speaker 1: something good happens to me. You mean every time I
- 7:17Speaker 1: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:19Speaker 1: put me on the next level, You mean to tell
- 7:21Speaker 1: me that I got to go through this right here?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Are you for real? And then my friend said, Jesus said,
- 7:31Speaker 1: they did it to me, and we just fell out laughing.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They did it to me, They did it to him.
- 7:40Speaker 1: They did it to him for him to go to
- 7:42Speaker 1: the next level. And you know, I was just I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was just going over the whole story about the crucifixion
- 7:48Speaker 1: and everything that had to be amazing man of all
- 7:51Speaker 1: the hate he had endured, all the prosecuting he had
- 7:54Speaker 1: do it. They thought, ultimately, what we'll do is we'll
- 7:58Speaker 1: nail him on a cross and crucified, and that'll be
- 8:01Speaker 1: the end of him, and we'll put him in this
- 8:03Speaker 1: tune and we'll put this big stone up there, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: that'll be the end of him. But what they did
- 8:08Speaker 1: not know was all you was doing was setting the
- 8:11Speaker 1: tone for the next level. Because eventually the stone got
- 8:15Speaker 1: rolled away and he went and got placed with his
- 8:18Speaker 1: father where he was headed to. Anyway, he ultimately knew
- 8:23Speaker 1: that his ultimate goal was to get to his father.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So when you when you when you thought you were
- 8:31Speaker 1: doing what you were doing to him, and you put
- 8:35Speaker 1: him in a tune and you put the big stone
- 8:37Speaker 1: up in there, and the stone got rolled got rolled away,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and he went eventually to where he was trying to
- 8:42Speaker 1: get to. That story is in place for all of
- 8:48Speaker 1: us to remember that when we are going through some things,
- 8:53Speaker 1: could it be because we are going to a place,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you know, It could be just a place in life.
- 8:59Speaker 1: It could be a different level in life. That's all
- 9:02Speaker 1: it has to be. But there's going to be the
- 9:06Speaker 1: adversarial challenges that come with it, and those are the
- 9:10Speaker 1: moments we must expect, expect and take them head on
- 9:14Speaker 1: and still not lose your focus or appreciation for what
- 9:18Speaker 1: God has done for you. So in light of all
- 9:20Speaker 1: of that I'm able to say the day that I
- 9:23Speaker 1: thank my heavenly Father, I really do for all the
- 9:26Speaker 1: blessing season bestowed upon me and all of the haters
- 9:30Speaker 1: and all of the liars, and all of the backstabbers
- 9:34Speaker 1: and all those people. When you get through lying, when
- 9:37Speaker 1: you get through stabbing, when you get through gossiping and
- 9:42Speaker 1: doing what you do, I'm still going to the next level.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I'm still going. You cannot stop what God has in
- 9:55Speaker 1: store for you. No one can stop that show. Ladies
- 10:03Speaker 1: and gentlemen, let me have it undivided attention. Uh. That
- 10:07Speaker 1: was a great song that was on the first Earth
- 10:10Speaker 1: Winding Fire album that I ever bought, which was the
- 10:13Speaker 1: Head to the Sky album that was to keep your
- 10:17Speaker 1: head to the sky. But that was a song on
- 10:21Speaker 1: that album called Masquerade. That was my damn jam. I
- 10:30Speaker 1: will sing it this morning. Is that why you brought
- 10:35Speaker 1: it up? This? Well, we didn't really have to ask it.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I know, ber Mascolade, he want to know all we worked,
- 10:53Speaker 1: we really see on the inningside and high what we
- 11:00Speaker 1: really are. All the outside pretend that you're something you're
- 11:16Speaker 1: really not. Who Yah, the whole world this masculade, everybody,
- 11:28Speaker 1: everybody wears another phase. Who yah, that was my damn jam.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Good morning Sherley Strawberry, Good morning Steve Harvey, thank you
- 11:43Speaker 1: for that. That was the B side. A lot of

- 13:58Speaker 1: you can ask me about Let's go see l O.
- 14:02Speaker 1: This one is from Chris and Hattiesburg. Miss Okay, I'm
- 14:08Speaker 1: a what. I'm a twenty nine year old black male
- 14:14Speaker 1: dating an insecure twenty five year old woman. I got
- 14:18Speaker 1: a little tipsy one night and I was feeling real
- 14:21Speaker 1: good when I went over to her house. I don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: remember much from that night, but my girl watched me
- 14:26Speaker 1: enter my pass code on my phone. I didn't know
- 14:29Speaker 1: until the other day when my co worker told me
- 14:31Speaker 1: that my girlfriend called and wanted to know the nature
- 14:34Speaker 1: of her relationship with me. I may have been drunk,
- 14:37Speaker 1: but I was smart enough to delete the calls and
- 14:39Speaker 1: texas from other chicks before I got to her house.
- 14:42Speaker 1: She said she'll never do it again. Should I trust her? No? Damn?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Hold on, dog? Trust tell what trust? Hut to not
- 14:54Speaker 1: trust the dude that she can't trust? You were smart
- 15:02Speaker 1: enough to delete the other girls names and numbers for
- 15:06Speaker 1: you got to her house. But you want to know
- 15:11Speaker 1: if you can trust her? She can't trust you. M
- 15:19Speaker 1: see what you want to know? Really? Dogs? Can you
- 15:22Speaker 1: trust her not to go through your phone? No more?
- 15:25Speaker 1: Because he's still gonna be cheating? Right? But she can't
- 15:29Speaker 1: trust you? So where are we at? Bro? See you
- 15:34Speaker 1: you can't do wrong and expect not to get done wrong.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You can't do wrong and expect not to get done wrong.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And it don't work that way though. Comes around now?
- 15:48Speaker 1: See if you heard somebody inadvertly, that's one thing, but
- 15:51Speaker 1: you deliberately trying to do something? Come on? Yeah, all right?
- 15:56Speaker 1: Kendall and Texas says, I just moved to a new
- 15:58Speaker 1: city and the only per and I know here is
- 16:00Speaker 1: my best friend. We've been friends since the age of two,
- 16:04Speaker 1: and he's recently divorced and we've been hanging out a lot.
- 16:07Speaker 1: He's been so kind and sweet, and I think I
- 16:09Speaker 1: may be falling in love with him, but he doesn't
- 16:12Speaker 1: know it. And lately He's been introducing me to some
- 16:15Speaker 1: of his male associates and telling them I'm a good catch.
- 16:18Speaker 1: If he feels that way about me, maybe I should
- 16:21Speaker 1: let him know how I feel. He's been casually dating
- 16:24Speaker 1: a woman since his divorce, but he hangs out with
- 16:26Speaker 1: me more than he does with her. Should I tell
- 16:28Speaker 1: him how I feel? Yeah? You talk right, because he
- 16:35Speaker 1: don't know he'll know you feel that way. So he's
- 16:38Speaker 1: going on about his business. Now ask yourself this question, though,
- 16:46Speaker 1: Are you asked fine or fine? Uh? Than the girl
- 16:50Speaker 1: he casually date? And she should ask herself that question
- 16:55Speaker 1: because that's important. That's really important too. You don't think okay,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I just want you to say so our audience will
- 17:04Speaker 1: get I just want you that's important to him. And see,
- 17:08Speaker 1: women know how to assess that dude's don't you know?
- 17:12Speaker 1: If a chick is bader than you, women know it
- 17:14Speaker 1: all the time. I ain't meant to do badder than me. Sorry,
- 17:18Speaker 1: there are a lot of confident women out there too.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I love that confidence. I haven't meant to do that's bad.
- 17:26Speaker 1: You mean, Tommy, sitting right there, you don't think what
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm way colder than you do to your self. But Tommy,
- 17:38Speaker 1: just to yourself. People come here to no other woman
- 17:45Speaker 1: I've ever dated or anything they've all met. Asked these
- 17:50Speaker 1: two beautifu ladies on this show right here. No, we
- 17:56Speaker 1: run out of time. We are one more. Okay, we'll
- 18:00Speaker 1: go ahead, and then I'm gonna ask you a question
- 18:02Speaker 1: when we come back when we're running out, All right, Kayla.
- 18:06Speaker 1: In Chicago, Clo says, I've been married for three years
- 18:09Speaker 1: and my husband and I are both neat freaks. We
- 18:12Speaker 1: have purchased our first home in nice furniture. So when
- 18:15Speaker 1: my husband's sister asked to come visit us for her birthday,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I got anxious. She's nasty and has no respect for
- 18:22Speaker 1: nice things. She eats in her bedroom, doesn't clean the bathroom,
- 18:25Speaker 1: and she walks barefoot then puts a dirty feet on
- 18:28Speaker 1: my couch. She visited us last Christmas and my husband
- 18:31Speaker 1: refused to say anything to her, and she totally stressed
- 18:35Speaker 1: me out. How can I get around? How can I
- 18:37Speaker 1: set ground rules with her when she gets here without
- 18:40Speaker 1: making her uncomfortable? Well, you don't have to set ground rules,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and you just gotta say little stuff that's in acute way. So, baby,
- 18:48Speaker 1: where you going with your nasty as your sister in law, Carol,
- 18:55Speaker 1: you so nasty sitting up in his beady. Your nasty
- 18:59Speaker 1: ass has to be playing you walking bad footing. They
- 19:06Speaker 1: we're gonna put your feet up on the couch and
- 19:08Speaker 1: you don't think that next? No, like you're having fun.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Does she have to come at all? Then maybe she
- 19:17Speaker 1: should just tell her not to go, because that's not
- 19:19Speaker 1: gonna works, Steve, And you know it. Tell you guys,
- 19:28Speaker 1: I don't want you him, oh yours, you can't do that.
- 19:34Speaker 1: There's happy to be a happy medium between the two.
- 19:37Speaker 1: That's on my waist around better. That's slightly a little edge.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I don't know how she's gonna handle this one, Steve. Well,
- 19:49Speaker 1: ain't nobody coming to my house destroying my house? I works? Right?
- 19:54Speaker 1: So we have house rules, Dolling Hey, whatever her name is, Hey, listen, Wilhelmina,
- 20:01Speaker 1: why you overhill? We don't. We don't eat in the
- 20:03Speaker 1: bed rooms, right, We don't walk around barefoot and put
- 20:08Speaker 1: our feet on the sofa, and we don't we don't
- 20:11Speaker 1: breathe too hard. Those are the three things. How about
- 20:16Speaker 1: we don't do company longer than two days, and wear
- 20:19Speaker 1: your mask at all times inside and new rule alert,
- 20:27Speaker 1: new rule alerting latex gloves. All right, coming up next,
- 20:32Speaker 1: Thank you. Celo is always coming up next. Nephew, Tommy's
- 20:35Speaker 1: run that prank back right after this. You're listening to
- 20:39Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour. Miss
- 20:43Speaker 1: Anna is standing by with today's national news plus an
- 20:47Speaker 1: entertainment trending news. Former Florida Democratic candidate for governor Andrew
- 20:51Speaker 1: Gillum says he identifies as bisexual. We'll talk about all
- 20:55Speaker 1: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 20:57Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here to run the prank back.
- 21:01Speaker 1: What you got now, NBA party in b A party.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Let's go hello a long time. I'm I'm looking for Brandy.

- 21:57Speaker 1: be there all day, but you know you're coming through
- 21:58Speaker 1: about one, one, two o'clock. You know that before the
- 22:00Speaker 1: game he started has us you know, got the flat
- 22:03Speaker 1: screen going and it's to be laid out, so uh yeah,

- 26:18Speaker 1: Hey man, you know about a year, but who counting?
- 26:21Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. A year that's about the
- 26:23Speaker 1: time we started hand some issues. Yeah, yeah, yeah, come

- 27:07Speaker 1: Just bring her to the party. I got a guest
- 27:09Speaker 1: this for you. I got a three eighty, I got

- 27:26Speaker 1: don't know me. But guess who else knows me? Though
- 27:28Speaker 1: that you don't know? What'll say something? Hey Brad, this
- 27:34Speaker 1: is Nephew time me man from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Your boy Marcus got me the prank phone. Call you what.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I don't give us this son, I'm gonna get up. Yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 1: hey Brad, what was you gonna do with the party? Man? Yeah? Man, Uh,
- 28:03Speaker 1: it's about me anyway. Let me ask you something. What's
- 28:09Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. It's the Steam
- 28:12Speaker 1: Party Morning Show. I'm just trying to have a nice
- 28:18Speaker 1: little party come through, bring a few friends, right, everybody right,
- 28:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring a girl through. Now you know she married.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I just wanted to let you know that my wife
- 28:33Speaker 1: name is Smo. Yeah. I like, what is the chances entanglement? Yes,
- 28:47Speaker 1: Simone and Simon Wold and me and your wife coming
- 28:52Speaker 1: to your party? How about man? All right? Thank you? Nephew.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Coming up next at the top of the hour, inertainment
- 29:00Speaker 1: in National News. Right after this, you're listening to show well.
- 29:06Speaker 1: During an emotional interview with Tamaron Hall, Andrew Gillim remember him.
- 29:11Speaker 1: He was a former Democratic candidate for governor of Florida.
- 29:15Speaker 1: While he has revealed his idea that he identifies as
- 29:18Speaker 1: bisexual and not gay, take a listen, and to be
- 29:22Speaker 1: very honest with you, when you didn't ask the question,
- 29:25Speaker 1: you put it out there is whether or not identify
- 29:28Speaker 1: as gay? And the answer is I don't identify as gay,
- 29:30Speaker 1: but I do identify as bisexual, and that is something
- 29:34Speaker 1: that I have never shared publicly before. So you guys,
- 29:38Speaker 1: remember back in February when Andrew Gillam was found inebriated
- 29:42Speaker 1: with the male escort. He was found by police who
- 29:44Speaker 1: were responding to a possible drug overdose in that Miami
- 29:48Speaker 1: hotel room. It was a while ago, but if you know,
- 29:51Speaker 1: if you think back, you can remember it. Andrew is Yeah.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Andrew Gillim is forty one years old. He's a father
- 29:57Speaker 1: of three. He spoke about how he underestimated the impact
- 30:01Speaker 1: of losing the governor's race had on his life. Also
- 30:05Speaker 1: during this interview with Tamarin Hall, Gillham appeared on the
- 30:08Speaker 1: show with his wife r J. Gillim, and Andrew praised
- 30:12Speaker 1: his wife for choosing to love who he is. Wow,
- 30:16Speaker 1: and that's all that, Yeah, and it is between them.
- 30:20Speaker 1: So I guess what he's saying, Steve, is that, you know,
- 30:23Speaker 1: he lost the governor's race and it just had a
- 30:26Speaker 1: big emotional impact on him. So sometimes it does have
- 30:29Speaker 1: a negative effect and you may get drunk or you
- 30:31Speaker 1: may you know that. I think that's what he's saying,
- 30:35Speaker 1: all right. And other entertainment news, ray J had filed
- 30:38Speaker 1: divorce from his wife, Princess Love, and so cool to
- 30:42Speaker 1: gi Yeah. Yeah, So he's filed for divorce from his wife,
- 30:50Speaker 1: Princess Love, and ray J is asking for a joint
- 30:52Speaker 1: custody of their beautiful little baby. Now remember Princess Yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 1: yeah too, that's right. She just had a new baby.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Remember Princess filed for divorce not too long ago. And
- 31:05Speaker 1: right after that, um, she said, ray filed and he
- 31:09Speaker 1: left her and her daughter in Las Vegas. What do
- 31:12Speaker 1: you mean left them? Remember it was a wild back.
- 31:15Speaker 1: That's why she was so upset he left and she
- 31:18Speaker 1: claimed he left them while they were in Vegas. This
- 31:20Speaker 1: was a wild back. So she filed for divorce, but
- 31:22Speaker 1: it seemed like they were trying to work it out.
- 31:24Speaker 1: She was expecting she had another baby, and it was
- 31:28Speaker 1: really rooting for them. I thought they would work it out,
- 31:30Speaker 1: but it doesn't seem that way. I hate that. Yeah. Well,
- 31:35Speaker 1: he seemed like a good dude, you know, just just
- 31:38Speaker 1: take care of your kids, man, if ok, make it
- 31:40Speaker 1: with the woman. He seemed like a good brother though.
- 31:43Speaker 1: From times I've talked with him, Man, I think he's
- 31:46Speaker 1: a good dude. Yeah, like ray Ja Yeah wow, yeah,
- 31:54Speaker 1: I mean from what we know. Yeah, it's like, man,
- 31:58Speaker 1: they're babies though involved, that's the hard part. But say,
- 32:04Speaker 1: be the best parents, then that's all you can do
- 32:07Speaker 1: it this morning? Yeah wow? Um yeah too that they
- 32:14Speaker 1: didn't make it though yet. And I wonder Carla reality
- 32:18Speaker 1: update is um the Hollywood chapter of Love and Hip
- 32:21Speaker 1: Hop coming back? Do you know? Have you heard anything?
- 32:24Speaker 1: I think so. I haven't heard that it was canceled,
- 32:27Speaker 1: but you know, I guess all the because of COVID. Yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 1: taking this off because of COVID. Okay, all right, well
- 32:34Speaker 1: now we're gonna move on, Steve, and it's time to
- 32:36Speaker 1: get caught up on today's headlines and the latest Wow
- 32:39Speaker 1: and Hurricane Sally. Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne True, Okay,
- 32:44Speaker 1: thanks everybody, good morning, and this is a trip of
- 32:46Speaker 1: the news. While everybody living in the low lying areas
- 32:49Speaker 1: of Louisiana and Mississippi, we're told to evacuate ahead of
- 32:52Speaker 1: Hurricane Sally's expected arrival sometime tonight or tomorrow. At last check,
- 32:58Speaker 1: Sally was a Category one top win of about ninety
- 33:00Speaker 1: five miles per hour. However, Mississippi Governor Tate Reef says,
- 33:04Speaker 1: the longer it stays in the Gulf swirling around the
- 33:06Speaker 1: strong it's going to get. The longer and it stays
- 33:09Speaker 1: out in the Gulf of Mexico, the more and higher
- 33:12Speaker 1: the likelihood is that it continues to grow in size
- 33:16Speaker 1: and scope and severity. This could deal a crippling blow
- 33:19Speaker 1: to the Gulf region so soon after it was hit
- 33:21Speaker 1: by Hurricane Laura late last month. Hurricane is, by the way,
- 33:24Speaker 1: among the series of extreme weather events keeping environment unless
- 33:27Speaker 1: fixed on the issue of climate change. This year, Democratic
- 33:31Speaker 1: presidential candid Joe Biden and others are criticizing President Trump
- 33:34Speaker 1: for labeling climate change a hoax. Trump was briefed on
- 33:38Speaker 1: the runaway blazes in California and Oregon. Yesterday he went
- 33:42Speaker 1: out there fires which he blames on poor forest management
- 33:45Speaker 1: and not climate change. However, California is now some resource
- 33:49Speaker 1: Secretary Wayne Crowfoot tried to get the President to see
- 33:51Speaker 1: things a little differently. If we ignore that science and
- 33:54Speaker 1: sort of put our head in the sand and think
- 33:55Speaker 1: it's all about vegetation management, we're not going to succeed
- 33:58Speaker 1: together protecting Californians. Okay, it'll start getting cooler. You just watch.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I wish science agreed to field. Hey, well, I don't
- 34:06Speaker 1: think science knows actually, Joe Biden says, that's the problem.
- 34:10Speaker 1: If you give a climate arsonist four more years in
- 34:13Speaker 1: the White House, why would anyone be surprised if we
- 34:16Speaker 1: have more America blaze? If you give a climate denier
- 34:19Speaker 1: four more years in the White House, why would anyone
- 34:22Speaker 1: be surprised when more of America is underwater? Guess we'll
- 34:26Speaker 1: see National Football League threatening to find head coaches if
- 34:29Speaker 1: they don't adhere to coronavirus rules requiring face masks on
- 34:33Speaker 1: the sidelines. Favincent says in a memo that everyone not
- 34:36Speaker 1: on the field has to wear a face covering at
- 34:38Speaker 1: all times failure to do so a result in accountability
- 34:41Speaker 1: measures against individuals and or clubs. A quart to a
- 34:45Speaker 1: new poll, sixty two percent of those ass say they
- 34:48Speaker 1: worry that political pressure from President Trump is going to
- 34:51Speaker 1: force the Food and Drug Administration to rush through a
- 34:54Speaker 1: coronavirus vaccine without making sure that it's safe and affected
- 34:58Speaker 1: an effective. Rather and over people say when one comes out,
- 35:02Speaker 1: they're not going to be the first to try it.
- 35:04Speaker 1: And finally, in this capitalistic society, I guess it had
- 35:06Speaker 1: to happen. Ultra upscaled design house Louis Vutan has come
- 35:09Speaker 1: out with its own combination face mask visor. It features
- 35:13Speaker 1: the company's brown signature logo, real Goal studs. The visor
- 35:16Speaker 1: automatically darkness in bright sunlight, and you can have your
- 35:19Speaker 1: very own for mere nine hundred and sixty dollars. Money. Money, money, money, Okay,
- 35:25Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 35:28Speaker 1: to the Sta Harvey Morning Show. Joe Biden, during a
- 35:32Speaker 1: speech in Wilmington, Delaware, yesterday, said that climate change affects
- 35:37Speaker 1: all of us. Take a listen to this. These are
- 35:40Speaker 1: unlocking crises of our time. Requires action, not denial, requires
- 35:45Speaker 1: leadership not scapegoating and requires the president to meet the
- 35:49Speaker 1: threshold duty of the office to care, to care for everyone,
- 35:54Speaker 1: to defend us from every attack, seeing an unseat, always
- 35:58Speaker 1: and without exception. Because here's the deal. Hurricanes don't swerve
- 36:05Speaker 1: to avoid red states or blue states. Wildfires don't skip
- 36:10Speaker 1: towns that voted a certain way. The impacts of climate
- 36:14Speaker 1: change don't pick and choose. That's because it's not a
- 36:18Speaker 1: partisan phenomenon. It's science, and our response should be the same,
- 36:26Speaker 1: grounded in science. Okay that they are the experts. Yes, yeah,
- 36:35Speaker 1: President Obama tweeted, God, oh, I was gonna tell you
- 36:39Speaker 1: see that. President Obama tweeted, protecting our planet is on
- 36:43Speaker 1: the ballot. Vote like your life depends on it. Trump
- 36:47Speaker 1: doesn't believe in climate change. When he was talking scientific
- 36:56Speaker 1: what's being done, he said, well, scientists can be wrong.
- 37:04Speaker 1: I just go away it too. But you write over
- 37:07Speaker 1: the scientists. I don't understand why you don't want to
- 37:14Speaker 1: accept climate change. What does it mean? It makes it
- 37:18Speaker 1: makes us all have to you know, do something. Yeah,
- 37:21Speaker 1: to say the player can't not well, I mean, you know,
- 37:26Speaker 1: everything to him as a hoax or a witch hunt
- 37:29Speaker 1: or something. Over thirty thousand lies since he's been in office.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Come on, I mean, there's Hurricane Sally. This is September.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Hurricane season is not even over until November. They are
- 37:43Speaker 1: going to run out of names for the hurricanes. They're
- 37:47Speaker 1: going to have to start naming them after the Greek alphabet.
- 37:50Speaker 1: You don't think that's weird. You don't think that that's
- 37:53Speaker 1: that's something going on with climate issues and fires and stuff.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I don't understand. I'm really just I do understand him,
- 38:04Speaker 1: but I do understand him. What I don't understand is
- 38:07Speaker 1: the people who support him and his lives. That's what
- 38:11Speaker 1: I don't understand. Yes, and you know they're they're not
- 38:15Speaker 1: they're not swayed by this guy. But I think he's
- 38:19Speaker 1: lost a lot of supporters who I just don't believe
- 38:23Speaker 1: that everybody who voted for him the first time will
- 38:27Speaker 1: be back and go, you know what, this guy is
- 38:30Speaker 1: really smart. You know what, This is the guy that
- 38:35Speaker 1: I want to continue parade in front of my children. Yeah. Yeah,
- 38:39Speaker 1: vote dot org, vote dot org. All right, thank you.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour, Tyree
- 38:46Speaker 1: says he has never felt handsome due to colorism. We'll
- 38:50Speaker 1: talk about that right after this you're listening to, all right, So,
- 38:57Speaker 1: singer and actor Tyree says that he has never felt
- 39:01Speaker 1: handsome or attractive. He's saying he's never felt this way
- 39:06Speaker 1: even as a child, and it's because of colorism. Tyrese
- 39:10Speaker 1: was a guest on the show Uncensored. He talks about
- 39:13Speaker 1: being teased and joked some jokes that he faced because
- 39:16Speaker 1: of his skin tone. Just take a listen. I had
- 39:19Speaker 1: never felt a piece of handsome. I had never felt
- 39:23Speaker 1: a piece of being cute. I have never heard compliments
- 39:30Speaker 1: throughout my childhood. I never got any attention from the ladies.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I caught every joke and the dark skinned community ever
- 39:44Speaker 1: black burnt tarp. I was all teeth and eyes. I
- 39:52Speaker 1: was blurble, black and purple. And I just never felt
- 39:58Speaker 1: attractive ever. And after I had that moment, it did
- 40:07Speaker 1: more for my confidence than you could ever imagine, because
- 40:12Speaker 1: it was it was a high that I would hope
- 40:16Speaker 1: to experience for the rest of my life. Wow, I'm
- 40:22Speaker 1: with Treason. I ain't even all that. I gu how
- 40:26Speaker 1: he feels. I get it right, him too? No, No,
- 40:39Speaker 1: him no, no, I mean no, no, I'm not I'm
- 40:43Speaker 1: not well, you know, we're tell me it's like this.
- 40:46Speaker 1: You ain't got a lot of companies, and you know
- 40:49Speaker 1: that he tried to convince yourself, which I recuse myself.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I recuse somebody. You know what that means. They don't
- 41:02Speaker 1: want to say nothing to damage your ass for the
- 41:05Speaker 1: rest of the day on this radio. That's Sharley Carlin said.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Asked me, Carlin, say that's shary the question Tommy, that's
- 41:17Speaker 1: all right? I think, no, no, ask her, don't speak
- 41:21Speaker 1: for the skird He's okay, car carl Yes, Tommy has
- 41:27Speaker 1: removed himself from the group of me and Junior and Tyrese.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Tommy thinks he's got tyre said it was something wrong
- 41:39Speaker 1: with him. He's talented. Yes, so I think that Tyrese's
- 41:44Speaker 1: Tyres is talking about colorism, y'all just talking about plane up,
- 41:47Speaker 1: plane over. I ain't got to have you ain't gotta
- 41:51Speaker 1: be do skinning to be ugly, absolutely not. I ain't
- 41:54Speaker 1: never got that in my whole life, never been cute pretty.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I wasn't in the club. Tyres said. When he was
- 41:59Speaker 1: a kid, that's when it starts. That's when I was
- 42:01Speaker 1: first told I was I knew too, said that. My
- 42:09Speaker 1: mama told me your family so much. Yeah, last cut,
- 42:17Speaker 1: all that noise, that's it. I like the way you
- 42:22Speaker 1: did it. Don't tell me to be as ugly as
- 42:24Speaker 1: you are, and the knee of it as much damned
- 42:26Speaker 1: and nile. I'm gonna try that route climate change, you know,
- 42:33Speaker 1: just like you, tyres little little turtle looking as you know.
- 42:44Speaker 1: But Steve, you know what you always say, You're real
- 42:47Speaker 1: cute where I'm at the bike. Yeah, and Tyrese basically
- 42:51Speaker 1: said the same thing after becoming a successful actor, singer,
- 42:54Speaker 1: and celebrity that helped boost his confidence. Ye, Tommy, if
- 42:59Speaker 1: you stay in the business long enough, Hen help you
- 43:03Speaker 1: time his fifties now got LOLd, I ain't got hold.
- 43:10Speaker 1: If you ain't heard cute by fifty, I promise you
- 43:14Speaker 1: robbing you're on the slide boards. If you ain't heard
- 43:18Speaker 1: you find by fifty, you ain't got more. I've heard it.

- 54:20Speaker 1: should I tell him to stay with his wife? Dear
- 54:23Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty six years old and I'm dating
- 54:27Speaker 1: a sixty one year old man that is separated from
- 54:30Speaker 1: his wife. He had been pursuing me for a while,
- 54:32Speaker 1: and when he got a legal separation and moved out,
- 54:35Speaker 1: we started dating. That was four years ago, and our
- 54:39Speaker 1: relationship isn't what it used to be because his divorce
- 54:43Speaker 1: has taken a toll on him. He has paid over
- 54:46Speaker 1: twelve thousand dollars to his attorney, and he's got to
- 54:49Speaker 1: pay the wife's legal fees too. He's agreed to give
- 54:52Speaker 1: his wife the house in half of his pension, which
- 54:55Speaker 1: is a little over three hundred k. The wife also
- 54:59Speaker 1: has asked for monthly spousal support because she has him
- 55:02Speaker 1: worked in years. I feel bad for my boyfriend because
- 55:05Speaker 1: he's worked hard all his life, and when the divorce
- 55:07Speaker 1: is final, he won't have much left to show for it.
- 55:10Speaker 1: He's been up front about everything, and he's going through
- 55:13Speaker 1: with the divorce and the change in his finances. When
- 55:16Speaker 1: we started dating, he was living in one of his
- 55:19Speaker 1: rental properties, so he's having to fix it up because
- 55:21Speaker 1: he can't afford to buy a condo like he wanted to.
- 55:24Speaker 1: We don't go out as much as we used to
- 55:27Speaker 1: because he has to watch his spending. He keeps saying
- 55:30Speaker 1: that he loves me because I'm a real ride or
- 55:32Speaker 1: die type of woman, and he's grateful for me. But
- 55:34Speaker 1: what he really doesn't know is that I'm ready to
- 55:36Speaker 1: break up with him because I am not willing to
- 55:39Speaker 1: invest any more time into building him up and helping
- 55:41Speaker 1: him get back on his feet. I'm interested in a
- 55:44Speaker 1: more stable situation now that I'm older. I love him dearly,
- 55:49Speaker 1: but I don't want him to leave his wife if
- 55:51Speaker 1: he is only doing it to be with me. I've
- 55:54Speaker 1: been thinking wighs to break it to him. Should I
- 55:57Speaker 1: tell him to stay with his wife? Okay, I think
- 56:00Speaker 1: you left a lot of stuff out of this letter.
- 56:03Speaker 1: You kind of go from you know, he's been pursuing you,
- 56:06Speaker 1: and you know, to dating you, and now you don't
- 56:09Speaker 1: want to build him up and help him get back
- 56:11Speaker 1: on his feet. So I'm confused here. What is it
- 56:14Speaker 1: that you really want? What is it? I don't think
- 56:18Speaker 1: you're being honest. I just don't. I don't think you're
- 56:21Speaker 1: being honest. I don't think the letter has anything to
- 56:23Speaker 1: do really with what you're saying. It has to do
- 56:26Speaker 1: with I think that you should just come on out
- 56:30Speaker 1: and say what it really is. It is the money,
- 56:33Speaker 1: isn't it? It is the Monty. I just think your
- 56:37Speaker 1: whole letter is filled with numbers and dollars. Sign not
- 56:39Speaker 1: to mention the k's three hundred K twelve k, which
- 56:43Speaker 1: of course means thousands money money, money, That's what it
- 56:47Speaker 1: sounds like you're about. You talk about property, you know,
- 56:51Speaker 1: his rental, property, finances, condos, spousal support, it's all through
- 56:56Speaker 1: your letter. He can't afford to live like he used
- 57:00Speaker 1: to live. He the spending all of that. So just
- 57:04Speaker 1: why don't you just put this guy out of his
- 57:06Speaker 1: misery and go on and break it off with him now,
- 57:09Speaker 1: because once he divorces his wife, you're not gonna want
- 57:12Speaker 1: to be with him, because the money is running out.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Just say what it is, Steve. I mean, that's all
- 57:20Speaker 1: it is, Shirley. You hit it right on the head.
- 57:23Speaker 1: A couple other trick moves about this letter too. You
- 57:26Speaker 1: know fifty six, he's sixty one, separated from a wife.
- 57:31Speaker 1: He had been pursuing me for a while, and when
- 57:34Speaker 1: he got a legal separation and moved out, we started dating.
- 57:37Speaker 1: I don't think that's true. Yeah, we wouldn't judge her,
- 57:41Speaker 1: so you waited, you miss money hungry, miss concerned, But
- 57:47Speaker 1: you know the dollar amount of everything. He had been
- 57:51Speaker 1: pursuing me for a while, and when he got a
- 57:53Speaker 1: legal separation and moved out, we started dating. Lady. Please,
- 58:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna hear well, y'all was kicking it before. That's
- 58:03Speaker 1: why he can't hang on in nothing. Because she let
- 58:06Speaker 1: me explain something to you from a dude that's been
- 58:08Speaker 1: divorced twice. You want me to tell you because it
- 58:15Speaker 1: used to be our relations ain't what it used to be.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Because his divorce has taken a toll on him. He
- 58:21Speaker 1: has paid twelve K to his attorney, and he's got
- 58:25Speaker 1: to pay his wife's legal fees too. Why why if
- 58:36Speaker 1: she asked for the divorce why he got to pay
- 58:39Speaker 1: her legal fees unless something came up in the divorce
- 58:44Speaker 1: that made this not just be irreconcilable differences, But some
- 58:48Speaker 1: stuff started coming out. He agreed to give his wife
- 58:53Speaker 1: the house and half of his pension. What whoa get
- 58:58Speaker 1: the house and half to pay? What did he do?
- 59:04Speaker 1: Which is a little over three hundred k. The wife
- 59:07Speaker 1: also has asked for monthly spousal support because she ain't
- 59:11Speaker 1: worked in years. She gonna get that too. Now I
- 59:15Speaker 1: feel bad for my boyfriend because he's worked hard all
- 59:18Speaker 1: his life and when the door says final, he won't
- 59:20Speaker 1: have much left to show for it. I think you
- 59:23Speaker 1: part of the reason for the divorce if you ask me.
- 59:29Speaker 1: I could be wrong, but this letter has, like Shirley says,
- 59:32Speaker 1: so many open holes in it. And it don't add
- 59:35Speaker 1: up that he's been up front about everything he's going
- 59:38Speaker 1: through with the divorce and the change in his finances
- 59:42Speaker 1: because when we started dating, he was living in one
- 59:44Speaker 1: of his rental properties, so he's having to fix it
- 59:47Speaker 1: up because he can't afford to buy a condo, like
- 59:51Speaker 1: he wanted to What she really meant to say was
- 59:54Speaker 1: like I wanted to right hold on, Steve, have part
- 59:57Speaker 1: two of your response coming up in twenty minutes after
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: the hours. Subject of today's Strawberry Letters, Should I tell
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: him to stay with his wife? We'll get back into
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening show, all right? Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject should I tell him
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: to stay with his wife? For six year old woman
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: dating the sixty one year old man that got separated
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: from his wife, that he had been pursuing her for
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a while, and then when he got legal surrept separation,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: moved out. Then we started dating. I don't think that's true,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: but okay, the four years ago our relationship ain't what
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: it used to be. His divorce is taking a toll
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: on him. Paid over twelve thousands to his attorney. He's
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: got to pay his wife's legal fees too. Okay. He
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: agreed to give his wife the house and half of
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: his pension, which is a little over three hundred k.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: The wife also has asked for monthly sprouse to support
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: because she hasn't worked in years. What did this dude do?
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: This had to be cheap? Yeah, with her and lady,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: you got to think you have asked why you getting
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: a divorce? You know why you're getting a divorce. I
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: think it's causing you now. He hadn't worked all his life.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: You feel bad for him. He won't have much left
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: after this divorce. He's been up front about everything he's
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: going through. When we started dating, he was living in
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: one of his retal properties, so he's having to fix
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it up because he can't afford to buy a condo
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: like he wanted to, or like I wanted to. We
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: don't go out as much as we used to because
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: he got to watch his spending. Okay, so if he
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: ain't buying you nothing in paying for outing, I guess
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you don't want to do that. He keeps saying that
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: he loves me because I'm real ride or die type
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: of woman, and he's grateful for me. But I ain't
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: really know. Damn ride to die war, I'm already dead.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I stopped riding along time ago when you gave that
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: health of Dewn house and having your at twelve thousand
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: dollars legal fees a monthly support I ride. I ain't
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: ride with you no more. I can't be ride or
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: that when I quit riding when I found out you
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: ain't hand them all money. You even gonna fix up
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: a ragged ass conduct. YEA, what he really don't know
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: is and I'm ready to break up with him because
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I'm not willing to invest any more time into building
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: him up and helping him get back on his feet.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I'm interested in a more stable situation now that I'm older.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Let me show you what she said. I'm going to
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: break up with him, not I'm ready to because I'm
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: not putting no more money into this man, because I
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: thought that was gonna be much more of a payoff
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: than it is. And after he losing all this, he
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: ain't gonna have a damn thing. Then she said, I'm
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: interested in the most stable situation, meaning I'm interested in
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: somebody else. Now that I'm old, he'll go to lie.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I love him dearly, No you don't. But I don't
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: want him to leave his wife if he's only doing
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: it to be with me. What you that don't make
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: no damn since the sherley pointed that out. You don't
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: want him to leave his wife if it means he
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: gonna lose half his pension, the house twelve thousand dollars
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: in legal fees, her legal fees in monthly spouse to support,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: because that don't leave much for you, So he might
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: as well stay to her because he ain't what I
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: thought he was gonna be, not at all. I have
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: been thinking of ways to break it to him. Should
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I just tell him to stay with his wife? He
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: not staying with his wife. He can't go back over there.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: He'll get stabbed that night. No, he can't go over
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: there and shut his damn eyes. That man can't go
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: back over there. And you know why he can't go
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: back over there, it's because it is Should I tell
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: him to stay with his wife? That ain't why he
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: leaving his wife so he can go back over there
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and save some money. He wouldn't let go of all
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: of that because he thought he had something. But she
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: wants to get out. She doesn't want to feel guilty
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: about it now. No, it ain't no guilty. She does
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: not feel guilty. Stay with your wife. He can't stay
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: with her because he ain't got it for it. No, well,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: his current woman doesn't have it for him anymore because
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: he doesn't have any money anymore. That's a messa. Just
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: don't know what people coming from with this? You think
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: you know him, but then you don't. Yeah, they show
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: you that he taught me right there. One thing I
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: will say about ugly as people who he can fight.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: That's what you had to say. Saw your ass right

- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Let's Tommy tell the truth, Tommy, Tommy, you do fight good, though,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: don't you. I got a few hands, but that don't
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: make me pretty. People can't fight. It ain't never been
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: a handsome heavyweight champ. What are you talking about? Ali
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: was a good looking guy. He was sugar ratling and
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: sugar braids. That's right, sugar two people, let's go down
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: the list home. Joe fra No, Joe know that. Joe

- 1:16:30Speaker 1: some jokes that he faced because of his skin tone.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Just take a listen. I had never felt a piece
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: of handsome. I had never felt a piece of being cute.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: I have never heard compliments throughout my childhood. I never
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: got any attention from the ladies. I caught every joke
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and the dark skinned community. Ever. I was black, burnt tarp,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I was all teeth and eyes. I was blurble black
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: and purple. And I just never felt attractive ever. And
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: after I had that moment, it did more for my
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: confidence than you could ever imagine, because it was it
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: was a high that I would hope to experience for
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: the rest of my life. Wow, Tyson, I ain't even

- 1:19:28Speaker 1: we'll have some closing remarks for you coming up at
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this you're

- 1:19:40Speaker 1: until election day on November thirty nine days. That means
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: seven weeks. Okay, so we're asking you, Yes, we're not
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: too proud to beg uh go to vote dot org. Please, baby, please,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: please please, Yes, we are begging at this point. Uh. Yeah,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: it's getting down to the wire now. To get registered,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: you have to register, if you've moved, change your address,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: anything like that. Please go to vork dot org. Takes
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: a couple of minutes. Then you can find out uh
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: the information and early voting in your state. So Steve,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: that's vote dot org, vote dot org. You know, um,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: we're at a point. Well, it's it's gold time. Uh.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: You know, I played sports younger. I prepared for big shows.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I've gotten ready for some incredible speeches. I've had to
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: get ready to walk out in front of crowds. Man
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: oh man, and uh, I've I've understood what it is
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: to face gold time. Um, when it comes to this
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: country and this election in November, it's go time. It's
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: the producer has knocked on the door and said, ten
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: minutes to showtime. Mister Harvey, it's that time, folks. It's
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: ten minutes before showtime. But there are some things that

- 1:21:48Speaker 1: intelligent and he was just saying, it don't make no
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: sense for him to vote. And she was saying, Steve,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: what can you say to him to make him understand
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: the importance of the vote. Well, I mean, the one
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: thing that you have to understand is that our forefathers
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: died for us to vote, and how dare us not
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: honor them by doing the thing that they gave their
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: life for, that they were beaten for, that they were
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: jailed for that. They sat at lunch counters for man.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: They did everything to have that simple right to vote,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: to have us say so in who was in office,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: who was judges, who ran this country. You cannot be
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: content with what's happening in this country. If you are
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: tired of the way police treat us, you have got
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: to get rid of the person at the top that
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: makes this okay. That ain't got no healing voice for
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: those who suffer from oppression, for those who suffer from
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: the in dictated indignation of racism. This president does nothing
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: for you. Now, he didn't found these little four five
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: little black people that's talking about. He all listen, he
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: all that. I'm a pretty open minded guy. If someone's
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: done something for me, I'm one of the first people
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: to say thank you. I appreciate what you did. But
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: this is boom. So now let me say you this.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I appreciate the prison reform bill. But let me tell
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you something that ont for just black people. You don't
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: get You don't get to be president for correcting or wrong.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: You don't get a return in office for destroying the
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: dreams of all these latinos in the Docker program. You
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: don't get to go back to office. When you separated
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: children from their parents and now are still hundreds of
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: kids who are ain't seen their parents. You don't get
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: to go back for that. You don't get to go
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: back when you say in Charlottesville that there were good
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: people on both sides. You don't get to support white
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: supremacist groups and and and and and militia groups and
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: talk about their fine people. You don't get to have
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: on your Republican National Convention two people who stood in
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: the front yard with rifles and guns and pointed them
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: at protesters. You've done nothing but be divisive. He got
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: to go. He got to go, y'all. I don't know
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: how to say this to y'all, but on the Steve
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, I'm telling you he got to go.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: There has been no one more damaging for race relations
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: since I've been alive than this president right here. He
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: has said not one thing to make really a matter
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: of fact. He thinks racism is kool aid, like somebody
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: just made it up and serving it to people. This
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: man right here does not deserve to be the president
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: of the United States. He accidentally got in before. Cannot
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: let this happen. Vote dot org, vote dot org. You
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: got to find out when you can register. You've got
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: to register, You've got to get your ballots in. You
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: got to find out when you can early vote. Amen,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: we're gonna make a change. There's enough for this here,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: enough is enough. Too much stinks, This stinks. Vote a
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: seven weeks left, Yes, sir, seven weeks. Black lives really matter.
