- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all A sun giving them like the million
- 0:16Speaker 1: bus things in the stubble. Not good, Steve to the mother,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me. You gotta turn you go.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come, come on your faw uh huh. I'sh
- 2:02Speaker 1: your widow. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay. I want to share something
- 2:16Speaker 1: with you that I had to come to the realization
- 2:18Speaker 1: one time, and even in the reinvention of myself right now,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I've had to come to that and I want to
- 2:24Speaker 1: share it with you today. Give it to you. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: want to tell you about something that a lot of
- 2:30Speaker 1: people do in their life and I want you to
- 2:33Speaker 1: be aware of it. Here it is, don't get stuck
- 2:37Speaker 1: on yourself. You could be wrong. You know I said,
- 2:47Speaker 1: don't get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong. You know.
- 2:54Speaker 1: The reason I'm saying this is because people have a
- 3:00Speaker 1: tendency to once they make a decision about something, or
- 3:05Speaker 1: once they decide to go a certain path. They go
- 3:09Speaker 1: against all everything, anything anybody says, anything anybody might do,
- 3:16Speaker 1: any other ruling they may come across. They shun advice,
- 3:23Speaker 1: They don't listen to counsel. They just I made the decision.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't get stuck on yourself.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You could be wrong, you know. Now here's a sure
- 3:40Speaker 1: fire way to tell if you're wrong. If you don't
- 3:47Speaker 1: see any movement in the direction you've chosen, if you
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't see anything going right in that decision, if you
- 4:01Speaker 1: feel as though you're interrupt if the wall you're climbing
- 4:07Speaker 1: seems so insurmountable that you ain't even moving an inch,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and every time you turn around you keep getting knocked
- 4:16Speaker 1: by down, knocked back down. Don't get stuck on yourself.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You know you could be wrong, you know. See, that's
- 4:23Speaker 1: why it's important for people to always be open to
- 4:27Speaker 1: the reinvention of yourself. You know, you cannot be afraid
- 4:33Speaker 1: to reinvent yourself. In other words, you can't be afraid
- 4:38Speaker 1: to change. Change is necessary when it comes to growth.
- 4:44Speaker 1: There is no growth without change. The more you know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: the older you look, that is no growth without change.
- 4:56Speaker 1: If you're heading in a direction, it ain't nothing going
- 4:58Speaker 1: right in your life. Could it be the wrong direction?
- 5:02Speaker 1: If you're climbing and you're making no headway, could it
- 5:05Speaker 1: be the wrong direction? Could you have possibly made the
- 5:10Speaker 1: wrong choice. Don't get stuck on yourself because you didn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: made the wrong self. It's okay to forgive yourself. It's
- 5:16Speaker 1: okay to let yourself off the hook. It's even smarter
- 5:20Speaker 1: sometimes to admit that you were wrong. You ever met
- 5:23Speaker 1: somebody ain't ever wrong. Have you ever met somebody you
- 5:27Speaker 1: talk to, They ain't ever wrong about nothing. Man, They
- 5:30Speaker 1: just it's their way or the highway. It's this is
- 5:33Speaker 1: my way, this is the I know people like that,
- 5:36Speaker 1: stuck on them powered trips and all like that. You
- 5:38Speaker 1: know what I had to learn how to do. I
- 5:40Speaker 1: had to learn how to let them go on them
- 5:42Speaker 1: power trips. But listen to this. Though you're not taking
- 5:45Speaker 1: me on that trip. Though you're going on that trip
- 5:47Speaker 1: by yourself, I'm going in the right direction. I've decided
- 5:52Speaker 1: to stop the way. Okay, listen to this person. This person,
- 5:57Speaker 1: I decided to stop doing business the way I was
- 6:00Speaker 1: doing business. I decided to stop to allow business being
- 6:05Speaker 1: done around me, the way business was being done around me.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You know what, you know, the best decision I made
- 6:12Speaker 1: was to allow for God to have some say so
- 6:18Speaker 1: and to offer me his direction. I have found him
- 6:22Speaker 1: to be a better driver than anyone else I know.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I have found him to know more about the man
- 6:30Speaker 1: he made than anybody else who's merely associating with me.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I have found it to be a fact that my
- 6:38Speaker 1: maker knows more about the vehicle he created than does
- 6:43Speaker 1: anybody else. If you if your Chevy break don't you
- 6:47Speaker 1: take it to Chevy. You don't take your Forward when
- 6:50Speaker 1: it break down to a Toyota dealership. They not gonna
- 6:54Speaker 1: know everything that the Forward dealership would know about the vehicle.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You know why, because they're not the maker of it.
- 7:01Speaker 1: So now why are you living? You letting your life
- 7:04Speaker 1: being led, controlled and guided by somebody other than your maker.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'm just asking you to let's all take a common
- 7:14Speaker 1: sense look at this. So if going to your maker's
- 7:17Speaker 1: the best way, the best decision I made in my
- 7:20Speaker 1: business was take over my brand myself, and to allow
- 7:25Speaker 1: the maker of this brand see without God, I'm none
- 7:28Speaker 1: of this. I'm none of this. I want you to
- 7:30Speaker 1: clearly understand, I ain't none of this without him. I
- 7:34Speaker 1: wish I could have the guts to reach back there
- 7:38Speaker 1: and pat myself on the back for what I've accomplished
- 7:41Speaker 1: in my life. I wish I had the guts. I
- 7:43Speaker 1: wish the nerve of me because I know for or
- 7:48Speaker 1: fact that there is no way that I could have
- 7:50Speaker 1: manufacted the life that I have. I could not even
- 7:54Speaker 1: have thought of it. It's no way I could have
- 7:57Speaker 1: told you that this was the route I was gonna
- 7:59Speaker 1: take is the outcome because of it, I had no idea,
- 8:03Speaker 1: no clue. The one thing I had, though, was an
- 8:07Speaker 1: unshakeable faith in God. I had an I just kept
- 8:13Speaker 1: believing in him. I kept believing that he had something
- 8:17Speaker 1: more for me. And then when I touched base with
- 8:20Speaker 1: him and asked him to show me what it is
- 8:22Speaker 1: what he had for me, Tada, the magic show began.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Because you know what he did. He took all my
- 8:29Speaker 1: natural abilities that he had given to me, This gift
- 8:32Speaker 1: that he gave me, that he poured into me at birth,
- 8:36Speaker 1: that same gift that he poured into you at birth.
- 8:39Speaker 1: The moment you go to him and let him show
- 8:41Speaker 1: you that gift, and then guess what once He takes
- 8:46Speaker 1: what he naturally put in you and put his super
- 8:49Speaker 1: his superpowers on top of that. Then you have some
- 8:52Speaker 1: supernatural things going on in your life and you may
- 8:55Speaker 1: not be feeling me. I'm cool with that, but I
- 9:01Speaker 1: didn't have some supernatural things happen to me. Every day
- 9:05Speaker 1: I wake up some supernatural the man, the rewards of
- 9:10Speaker 1: my life, the awards of my life, the accomplishments, the
- 9:13Speaker 1: how I'm working now, how I manage it all, all
- 9:16Speaker 1: that ain't none but God. That ain't nothing but God.
- 9:19Speaker 1: You can't even explain this schedule to people. Sometimes when
- 9:22Speaker 1: people ask me, Steve, how do you do it? I go, well,
- 9:25Speaker 1: it's what I manage my time. Then at the end
- 9:27Speaker 1: of when I get through, I say, hey, man, you
- 9:28Speaker 1: know what I need to tell y'all for real, it's God.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I don't really know, but I'm letting him manage me.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So he handling it. He ain't gonna put no more
- 9:36Speaker 1: of me than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all,
- 9:38Speaker 1: don't be afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't
- 9:42Speaker 1: get stuck on yourself because you could be wrong. You know,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you absolutely could be wrong if you don't tie this
- 9:51Speaker 1: to your gift. You will be struggling the rest of
- 9:55Speaker 1: your life. You're listening to ladies and gentlemen. It is
- 10:03Speaker 1: time again the Steve Harvey Marning Show us upon us
- 10:07Speaker 1: brand new, another day, another chance, another opportunity. Man, I'm
- 10:12Speaker 1: glad who. Man, he didn't have to do it, but
- 10:17Speaker 1: he did. I ain't that, Paul, I don't know. I
- 10:21Speaker 1: don't know who. Ain't understanding that he didn't have to
- 10:25Speaker 1: do it, but he did. He didn't had to do one.
- 10:28Speaker 1: He had to wake you up this lord. He didn't
- 10:31Speaker 1: have to protect you. He didn't have to cover you
- 10:33Speaker 1: for dangerous scene and unseen. You ain't seen you. It's
- 10:36Speaker 1: a lot of stuff happen to you ain't even seen.
- 10:38Speaker 1: He just covered you behind the scene. Think of all
- 10:41Speaker 1: the ways he's made for you, so when you got there,
- 10:44Speaker 1: it was already paid out. How many times, man, you
- 10:48Speaker 1: thought it was no solution and it was over and
- 10:50Speaker 1: all of a sudden it came through, Or how many
- 10:53Speaker 1: times it didn't come through and you felt messed up
- 10:56Speaker 1: about it and then something else happened that was better
- 10:58Speaker 1: than that. Man, Boy, shut up. I come to the
- 11:00Speaker 1: Steve hard the Morning Show. You're on the Strawberry Caller
- 11:03Speaker 1: for real month, Better South Junior and the legend that
- 11:06Speaker 1: is Nephew Tommy Junior. What's on your mind this morning? Man? Man? Uncle,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I tell you with on my mind? Man? You know, Man,
- 11:12Speaker 1: changing my attitude? Man, all this stuff going on. But man,
- 11:16Speaker 1: just so, how are you drying out the distractions? Man?
- 11:18Speaker 1: And staying focused on what you're suppsed to be doing
- 11:20Speaker 1: when you try it on? Ain't nothing good we're looking at,
- 11:23Speaker 1: you know, all the stuff that's happening right now, the shootings, everything,
- 11:27Speaker 1: the stuff is just not where I won't be in.
- 11:29Speaker 1: My attitude gets a little upset about some of these things.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And I'm just saying, man, Man, mind does too. So
- 11:37Speaker 1: you know what I do A lot of time. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: don't cut it though, because the only thing on the
- 11:43Speaker 1: news now seem to be bad news. And that ain't
- 11:46Speaker 1: the way to start your day. You should never inundate
- 11:50Speaker 1: your mind with negativity at the start of it. No, man,
- 11:54Speaker 1: get up, have a meditartan moment. Have have a meditation
- 11:59Speaker 1: moment with God, and tell God some things that you're
- 12:02Speaker 1: grateful for. Listen to God, tell them how much you
- 12:05Speaker 1: appreciate it. Stop waking up grabbing your phones and turning
- 12:09Speaker 1: on your social media and all this mess and inundating
- 12:13Speaker 1: your mind with stuff that ain't got nothing to do
- 12:15Speaker 1: with your progression as a person. If you're I'm telling you, man,
- 12:19Speaker 1: it happens to too many people, junior, is not just you,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and sometimes I fall into it. To get up and
- 12:24Speaker 1: cut TV or no, man, get up and be grateful,
- 12:28Speaker 1: Spend some time with gratitude, Spend some time man meditating,
- 12:32Speaker 1: Spend up when you first wake wake up if you
- 12:35Speaker 1: if you don't have kids, right, if you don't have
- 12:37Speaker 1: kids when you or if you get up before your
- 12:40Speaker 1: kids before you wake them up, because there's normally how
- 12:42Speaker 1: it worked, that's quiet time of the morning. You should
- 12:46Speaker 1: have five minutes of that time to yourself to collect
- 12:49Speaker 1: your thoughts, sit with you. Don't let nothing know outside
- 12:55Speaker 1: interferes get in your head, because if you allow it to,
- 12:59Speaker 1: it's going to affect you. Man, because we're human. It
- 13:03Speaker 1: ain't no you can hear anything and you ain't got
- 13:05Speaker 1: to pay no attention to it. But that ain't real.
- 13:07Speaker 1: It's not how life works. Man. If you get inundated
- 13:11Speaker 1: with negativity, you're gonna start your date with negativity. You
- 13:14Speaker 1: finn have a negative morning. That's why people always say
- 13:16Speaker 1: I got up on the wrong side of the bed.
- 13:18Speaker 1: No you didn't. You got up aufter bed and you
- 13:21Speaker 1: allowed something to inundate your thought process that caused you
- 13:25Speaker 1: to now feel negative. Because your feelings are a barometer. Boy,
- 13:30Speaker 1: let me stop because I ain't got time. We'll be
- 13:33Speaker 1: back tom aorrow. Oh okay, all right, coming up at
- 13:38Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll run that brank
- 13:40Speaker 1: back with a nephew right after this. You're listening morning show,
- 13:46Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew to run that

- 21:07Speaker 1: Remember Barney, Well he's got a brand new look, but
- 21:09Speaker 1: it gets slammed on social media. And now you can
- 21:13Speaker 1: eat like Cardie being offset at McDonald's. That's all coming
- 21:17Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, But right now
- 21:19Speaker 1: it is time to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer,
- 21:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. LaDonna in Detroit writes, my husband and I
- 21:28Speaker 1: have slept apart for one year and I love it.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It cut down on arguments, he doesn't keep me up
- 21:34Speaker 1: all night with the t beond and and we still
- 21:37Speaker 1: have sex. My father and I told us our marriage
- 21:41Speaker 1: is doomed. Are we helping or hurting our marriage? Well,
- 21:45Speaker 1: if you think it's cool, didn't go ahead. I mean, now,
- 21:50Speaker 1: do your husband love it? That's what you're doing now.
- 21:53Speaker 1: If y'all still having sex and this and you all
- 21:56Speaker 1: find it to be beneficial to both of y'all, and
- 21:59Speaker 1: you're cutting down on the arguments and maybe saving your man.
- 22:02Speaker 1: And who she say her daddy told him, Yeah, her
- 22:04Speaker 1: dad h Well, you know your daddy is looking at
- 22:07Speaker 1: it from her father in law. Father in law told
- 22:11Speaker 1: her something different. Well that I don't know. I don't
- 22:16Speaker 1: even know what they told him. Fault, You know, you
- 22:19Speaker 1: quit telling your bit The best thing was worrd fast
- 22:23Speaker 1: way to mess up your marriages. Let other people in it.
- 22:26Speaker 1: That's the fastest way. But if you if it's working
- 22:29Speaker 1: for you all, didn't let it keep on working for y'all.
- 22:31Speaker 1: How the hell did he know that? Yeah? Yeah, all right.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Moving on to Nirvanni and Columbus, Nairvani says, I'm fifty
- 22:41Speaker 1: eight years old and I'm single. I've not had sex
- 22:44Speaker 1: since last March because my last boyfriend went into cardiac
- 22:48Speaker 1: arrest during sex. I barely had time to untie him.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Are you listening to this? I barely had time to
- 22:55Speaker 1: untie him before the ambulance came. We laugh about it now,
- 23:00Speaker 1: and he said it wasn't my fault, but I feel guilty.
- 23:03Speaker 1: How do I get back into the swing of things? Oh,
- 23:06Speaker 1: nobody won't None of that well, you pretty much to ruin.
- 23:10Speaker 1: You ruined it with him. That's what broke y'all up.
- 23:13Speaker 1: And then Nirvania, I hope this is not your real name,
- 23:17Speaker 1: because that's a very rare name for fifty eight year old.
- 23:20Speaker 1: And now that that's public knowledge right here, you probably
- 23:22Speaker 1: won't be getting a man no time soon, because anybody's
- 23:25Speaker 1: been the mirror you're all this getting tied up with
- 23:27Speaker 1: cardiac arrest and all this stuff. Anybody's been to sign
- 23:30Speaker 1: up for all like that. It's old ass people, damn
- 23:33Speaker 1: mis sick getting tied up. Stupid ass tied up fault.
- 23:41Speaker 1: You heard him say, stop kept going. Now, he just
- 23:45Speaker 1: didn't here, Holly, he'd have had cardiac carel y'all laughed
- 23:49Speaker 1: about you didn't laughed about it that long. You broke up,
- 23:51Speaker 1: didn't you. Well, he said it wasn't her fault. He
- 23:54Speaker 1: did tell her that that it wasn't her. No, it
- 23:56Speaker 1: wasn't her fault. He let you can't tie yourself up,
- 23:59Speaker 1: her tie hill up. That was that's why it wasn't
- 24:02Speaker 1: her fault. If he couldn't handle what was happening. But
- 24:05Speaker 1: you heard the man, Holly, and you kept on. And
- 24:09Speaker 1: if he trying to say stopping. Can't say it? You
- 24:12Speaker 1: really don't hear trump? Stop stop stop that right down
- 24:21Speaker 1: that panting. Yeah, you gotta let that go about it now,
- 24:24Speaker 1: she says, okay, ha ha he he Hell, I see
- 24:30Speaker 1: y'all have broke up there, ain't you? And he ain't
- 24:33Speaker 1: trying to get back with all this time of two
- 24:37Speaker 1: boxes under the bed and all this kid all noises
- 24:41Speaker 1: sound t is I wanna put this on. I gonna
- 24:44Speaker 1: put all this on all right, this on me take
- 24:48Speaker 1: it off with this hill. We're gonna plug that in
- 24:55Speaker 1: the wall over there. I got the extension cord. Plug
- 24:57Speaker 1: that in the wall. And ain't that over here? What
- 25:01Speaker 1: is this right here? Just hit the old switching and
- 25:03Speaker 1: lay it down for a minute. Hole still quit jumping
- 25:11Speaker 1: somebody doing this with you. We're gonna move on now.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Steve to Katherine and Lexington. Katherine says, my daughter is
- 25:18Speaker 1: eighteen and her boyfriend is twenty nine. He has fast
- 25:21Speaker 1: money and the lifestyle she sees in videos and on
- 25:24Speaker 1: the internet. I can't get through to her, So should
- 25:27Speaker 1: I just pray and let it go? Well? I mean,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I don't know what else you can do, you know,
- 25:31Speaker 1: once they get of age, It's it's hard being apparent, man,
- 25:35Speaker 1: it really is. And those of us that have children,
- 25:38Speaker 1: especially children that have grown up, we can tell you
- 25:41Speaker 1: flat out you can give them all advice you won't
- 25:44Speaker 1: and they have the ability to make a decision when
- 25:47Speaker 1: you know where around. And then you got to sit
- 25:50Speaker 1: there and look at the decision and go why, Well,
- 25:52Speaker 1: it ain't your fault. She liked the videos and the
- 25:55Speaker 1: fast money. He twenty nine years old, you know what
- 25:57Speaker 1: he do. You gotta pray for your daughter. Don't give
- 26:00Speaker 1: up prayer because pretty much ain't nothing else you could do,
- 26:05Speaker 1: you know, unless her father was in their life and
- 26:07Speaker 1: he can go there and visit with the boy. Yeah,
- 26:12Speaker 1: they don't tell her how that go. So do you
- 26:15Speaker 1: know how it's gonna go? Yeah? Yeah, sad situation right there,
- 26:21Speaker 1: but her does help um. Moving on last one, Steve
- 26:26Speaker 1: to DeAndrea and oak Cliff. Deandrew says, I was kicking
- 26:30Speaker 1: it with one guy and we fell out, so his
- 26:33Speaker 1: best friend and tried to holler at me. I ended it.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I ended up in the bed with his best friend,
- 26:38Speaker 1: but he wouldn't have sex with me. Later on I
- 26:41Speaker 1: found it was a setup. Why do grown men still
- 26:44Speaker 1: play games. Wow, Why why do grown women get played? Yeah? See,
- 26:52Speaker 1: they can't play games with you if you don't get played,
- 26:56Speaker 1: why would you participate mass round in the same group
- 27:02Speaker 1: of friends. Why you ain't got nothing else to do? Right,
- 27:08Speaker 1: it was a setup? You say? What? Yeah, ended up
- 27:17Speaker 1: in the bed. It just happened. Yeah, no, no, no, no,
- 27:22Speaker 1: no no no no no, no no no, sorry sorry sorry,
- 27:28Speaker 1: she don't end up neck it in the bed. Now,
- 27:30Speaker 1: you don't end up. Everybody made some decisions. Somebody made somebody.
- 27:36Speaker 1: But see it's you've been obviously looking at this board
- 27:38Speaker 1: for a while. Yeah, how about that part? Why the
- 27:42Speaker 1: grown men play games? How are you? How are you
- 27:45Speaker 1: getting played at this age? Ladies? Come on now, listen
- 27:49Speaker 1: to you some damn comment sense? Yeah, he coming on
- 27:53Speaker 1: to you. It's the same circle of friends, same circle
- 27:56Speaker 1: of friends. What you over that fall? Hey? You got
- 28:03Speaker 1: one more? She that was the last one? Steve, Well,
- 28:07Speaker 1: we at the time. Then we ain't got nothing else.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Say to you, lady, nice, try feel for you. You off? Hey,
- 28:15Speaker 1: now we can do not gonna be able to fix
- 28:17Speaker 1: this for you. You got played? Yeah, majorly? Why do
- 28:23Speaker 1: they play game? Now? Did you have one last piece?
- 28:28Speaker 1: Of advice for the fifty eight year old who um
- 28:31Speaker 1: hasn't had sex since last March and her boys. Oh yeah,
- 28:34Speaker 1: and you're not especially if you if this is your
- 28:36Speaker 1: real name, If your real name is Nirvania and eight
- 28:40Speaker 1: years old on this show. A lot of fifty eight
- 28:43Speaker 1: year old people listening to this show, You're probably not
- 28:45Speaker 1: gonna have sex anymore because you're time people up and
- 28:48Speaker 1: giving them hard attacks. Ain'tybody signing enough for that. You're
- 28:51Speaker 1: time people up and you're giving them hard attack. All right,
- 28:59Speaker 1: coming up, we have some entertainment news for you right
- 29:02Speaker 1: after this. I know you're listening to say morning show. Well, guys,
- 29:12Speaker 1: before we get into the entertainment news, there's a sad story,
- 29:15Speaker 1: a crazy story, another one of these shootings out of Michigan,
- 29:18Speaker 1: this time at Michigan State University. Sadly, at least three
- 29:23Speaker 1: people have died in shootings that happened Monday night at
- 29:26Speaker 1: Michigan State University. This is according to police. Five other
- 29:30Speaker 1: people were wounded and are being treated in a local hospital.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Police said a forty three year old suspect died from
- 29:37Speaker 1: a self inflicted gunshot wound. He was not affiliated with
- 29:40Speaker 1: the school and authorities have yet to establish a motive.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Police said, here we go another one. Of course, you know,
- 29:50Speaker 1: we'll keep our eye on the story and keep you posted.
- 29:55Speaker 1: It's a sprawling university of about fifty thousand students, and
- 29:59Speaker 1: this is just terrible. This is it's another one. You know,
- 30:04Speaker 1: nothing's been done. I wish these universities were closed in
- 30:07Speaker 1: where you gotta checkpoints, you gotta go through it. You know,
- 30:11Speaker 1: a little bit more security, most security, Yeah, to get
- 30:14Speaker 1: access to the buildings, Like did he go into the building?
- 30:17Speaker 1: How did he get access to the way. You're forty
- 30:19Speaker 1: three years old. Big schools like that usually have city
- 30:23Speaker 1: streets going through a Yeah, so that's not a main
- 30:26Speaker 1: gate where you can go to. Small colleges got that
- 30:28Speaker 1: enclosed campus thing. But most big schools, you got fifty
- 30:32Speaker 1: thousand to dicing in. You got they all over the place.
- 30:34Speaker 1: That's space for the Michigan State USC UCLA. You know
- 30:40Speaker 1: they got they got major seachildren. I don't know how
- 30:43Speaker 1: they're gonna do that. The real problem is these goods.
- 30:46Speaker 1: But eight gonna say nothing about that, right, all right, Well,
- 30:55Speaker 1: our prayers are definitely with the school, the parents, the students,
- 30:58Speaker 1: everyone affiliated and We're going to switch gears here now
- 31:02Speaker 1: and bring in some entertainment news. Buffalo Bill's safety Damar
- 31:07Speaker 1: Hamlin was spotted at the Super Bowl. He was seated
- 31:10Speaker 1: with NFL commissioner Roger Goodall and Donna Kelsey and seemed
- 31:15Speaker 1: to be enjoying the game. But after the game, he
- 31:18Speaker 1: was attacked on Instagram by former NFL great Adrian Peterson,
- 31:22Speaker 1: all because Peterson didn't like the jacket that Hamlin wore
- 31:25Speaker 1: to the Big Game. The jacket is a three thousand,
- 31:28Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty dollars Takashi Murakami Travis Jesus jacket
- 31:34Speaker 1: and it had the image of an altered head of
- 31:36Speaker 1: Jesus Christ on the front and a big crucifix on
- 31:39Speaker 1: the back. Peterson expressed how he felt about it on Instagram.
- 31:44Speaker 1: He wrote quote, you should be thanking God's son. This
- 31:47Speaker 1: is blasphemy. We all fall short, but come on, man,
- 31:51Speaker 1: I find this disrespectful. Hashtag grateful, hashtag god. Did Hamlin
- 31:56Speaker 1: and Peterson have spoken since the blow up and put
- 31:58Speaker 1: the mishap behind them. Peterson later posted that he understands
- 32:02Speaker 1: that there was no ill intent and he apologized to Hamelin.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Sources close to Hamlin say that he has never shied
- 32:09Speaker 1: away from sharing his faith throughout his recovery and has
- 32:12Speaker 1: thanked God multiple times when speaking publicly. So here's a question,
- 32:17Speaker 1: why do you think that Adrian Peterson thought it was
- 32:20Speaker 1: okay to do that on Instagram? Why didn't he just
- 32:23Speaker 1: text or call damark? My opinion jacket. My opinion is
- 32:29Speaker 1: so many people want everybody to hear and feel that
- 32:34Speaker 1: their opinion and thoughts are so valid and so important.
- 32:38Speaker 1: And instead of just calling the man man and man
- 32:41Speaker 1: are gonna yo, Bro, what's up with this? You know
- 32:43Speaker 1: you're gonna go public on the dude, then after which
- 32:46Speaker 1: y'all have a conversation. I think there's something to be
- 32:48Speaker 1: learned on both parts, you know. I mean, look, man,
- 32:51Speaker 1: people gonna wear what they want to wear and all.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I said, But we are in a world today where
- 32:56Speaker 1: everybody got something to say about everything you do. Yes, everything, Yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 1: I don't care what it is, and that's all to it.
- 33:06Speaker 1: That's it. That's true, Steve and uh moving on to
- 33:10Speaker 1: another story about opinionated people. Do you all remember the
- 33:14Speaker 1: character Barney from the from the nineties. I remember Barney
- 33:19Speaker 1: exactly exactly. Our kids grew up on Barney. Well, the
- 33:23Speaker 1: Big Purple Dinosaur is coming back to TV, and the
- 33:26Speaker 1: producers gave us a glimpse of Barney's new and improved
- 33:29Speaker 1: look this week. But then poor Barney got slammed with
- 33:32Speaker 1: tons of negative comments about his new look. One comment
- 33:37Speaker 1: in particular said that Barney looks high and his new
- 33:40Speaker 1: face is very unsettling. The New Barney Show will premiere
- 33:44Speaker 1: early next year. So, I mean, what is this Now
- 33:47Speaker 1: we're slamming cartoon going on? It's too much now, Barney
- 33:53Speaker 1: an opinion. Everything, Everything is right, Go on with your day.
- 34:08Speaker 1: What are you doing to I love? Yeah, but she
- 34:17Speaker 1: was a little that's crazy. Yeah, you're all right and U.
- 34:31Speaker 1: This week, McDonald's announced its first ever celebrity couple meal
- 34:36Speaker 1: with Cardi b An Offset, saying the meal is perfect
- 34:40Speaker 1: to share with your plus one, your situation, ship, your
- 34:43Speaker 1: best friend, or anyone in between. Yeah. The meal includes
- 34:47Speaker 1: Cardi b standard cheeseburger served with barbecue sauce and a
- 34:51Speaker 1: large Coca Cola and Offset cheese top quarter pounder, and
- 34:56Speaker 1: a large High Sea Orange drink. It also includes a
- 34:59Speaker 1: large fry to share and an apple pie. So that
- 35:02Speaker 1: is the celebrity couple meal at McDonald's. Okay, so you
- 35:06Speaker 1: can take your boo to McDonald's and get that. Oh
- 35:09Speaker 1: I'm not mad at that high school. I am not
- 35:14Speaker 1: desious with the prize. I've got bad at all sends meal.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I'm a fish man when I go to McDonald's double
- 35:27Speaker 1: cheeseburg A. Yeah, well now you know. Now you know
- 35:30Speaker 1: I get I get double fish. I have to wait
- 35:32Speaker 1: online that way, it's guaranteed to be up. You're holding
- 35:36Speaker 1: up traffic whatever whatever coming up. In twenty minutes after
- 35:45Speaker 1: the hour, it is Wellness Wednesday, and see will tell
- 35:47Speaker 1: us how he looks and feels so great at his age.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show. We'll see that
- 35:57Speaker 1: as Wellness Wednesday. We're all trying to live a healthier
- 36:03Speaker 1: used baby. Yeah, you to this wins? You blew my
- 36:11Speaker 1: papers off the table? Head bangs again. That would be
- 36:16Speaker 1: up in the air. All right. So, Steve, you've teamed
- 36:19Speaker 1: up with doctors, nutritionists, and health and wellness experts to
- 36:24Speaker 1: create your brand new Elevate You healthy green powders. Now
- 36:28Speaker 1: what inspired you to create Elevate You? And tell us
- 36:31Speaker 1: about it? And again, you look great at sixty six?
- 36:33Speaker 1: Well you know saying that I know, I don't you know. Look,
- 36:37Speaker 1: I wanted to do something. Um, I was staggnant with
- 36:40Speaker 1: my energy because I worked so much. I just had
- 36:42Speaker 1: to do something man that I could actually do. And
- 36:45Speaker 1: I knew from years of dietitians, nutritionist doctors that the
- 36:51Speaker 1: best way to get energy is to help yourself on
- 36:53Speaker 1: the cellular level. And so, you know, it was greens.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Do you see that everywhere? That's in all the writings
- 36:59Speaker 1: saying a secret. The problem I was having was when
- 37:02Speaker 1: I would try to drink these green drinks every day,
- 37:04Speaker 1: making them, and then some of the powders I was buying,
- 37:06Speaker 1: and so it just didn't taste good. Just some days
- 37:08Speaker 1: when I just couldn't get it down, And so I
- 37:10Speaker 1: went to some doctors. I told him what I was having,
- 37:12Speaker 1: I told them what I wanted to do, and I
- 37:14Speaker 1: told him how I wanted it to be. And one
- 37:16Speaker 1: of the big things was flavor and taste, because if
- 37:18Speaker 1: a person enjoys what they're drinking, they'll drink it more often,
- 37:21Speaker 1: they won't miss it. I'm getting so many calls from
- 37:24Speaker 1: friends of mine who are on it, who bought it themselves,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and I'm just going Hey, love man, I really appreciate it, man,
- 37:31Speaker 1: dog Man, this thing working. Man. I didn't know, man,
- 37:34Speaker 1: I was. I was doing it just support you. But
- 37:36Speaker 1: it really does work. This is a real product. This
- 37:38Speaker 1: isn't a product that existed before. And I came along
- 37:42Speaker 1: for a check and signed my name on it. No,
- 37:45Speaker 1: I started from ground zero with no money, put the
- 37:49Speaker 1: money up and started the process. That's how I committed
- 37:52Speaker 1: I was to it. I had no idea that it
- 37:55Speaker 1: would be this successful though. It's really really working, really
- 37:59Speaker 1: really well. And we got some more surprises coming for
- 38:02Speaker 1: you in June concerning the product. But right now, man,
- 38:05Speaker 1: you can get this green powder and original flavor tart cherry,
- 38:09Speaker 1: and you can get chocolate chocolate. I like them all.
- 38:14Speaker 1: But man, if you can feel better, get more energy,
- 38:17Speaker 1: it'll make you want to do more and maybe that's
- 38:19Speaker 1: what's causing you not to go to the gym, if
- 38:22Speaker 1: you feel stagnant. And so that's what it does, man,
- 38:25Speaker 1: and it really works. If you go to elevate you
- 38:27Speaker 1: dot com, that's l e vat e elevate you dot com.
- 38:32Speaker 1: This is a real product. It's not a gimmick. I
- 38:35Speaker 1: got doctors and scientists behind this this ain't nothing, not
- 38:38Speaker 1: through together on my own. No. I got research behind it,
- 38:42Speaker 1: real doctors, real chemists, and it just really really works
- 38:45Speaker 1: and it's all natural. Elevate you dot com. All right, Steve,
- 38:49Speaker 1: thank you and congratulations again. Now coming up at thirty
- 38:52Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, Roscoe Wallace is in the
- 38:56Speaker 1: building right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. Well,
- 39:04Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, he is here, Roscoe. You hear him? Oh,
- 39:09Speaker 1: Dave Berry, what I do is? I come on in
- 39:13Speaker 1: and I don't even know anything. If you don't know me,
- 39:15Speaker 1: you don't know music. You know what I'm saying. Hey, Roscoe,
- 39:21Speaker 1: we're going on. We're going on college. Hey, Roscoe. What's
- 39:25Speaker 1: happenings missus? Sim We're going on you, Roscoe? Why he wrote?
- 39:30Speaker 1: Man wasn't what hey? Tim tire John was at him

- 40:34Speaker 1: I was out there. What you want to know? What? Well?
- 40:36Speaker 1: I just wanted to know. Did you say anything? You know?
- 40:39Speaker 1: Did you help her with her halftime performance? I just
- 40:43Speaker 1: told you what I did, help me with the playlist.
- 40:45Speaker 1: You ain't no, no, no, I heard you, but you
- 40:47Speaker 1: know her performance? Go ahead and call it. You might
- 40:49Speaker 1: want to ask me something a little bit more funny. Anyway,
- 40:53Speaker 1: I got you, Carla, Thank you so. Roscoe, you were
- 40:56Speaker 1: on the field, did you did you see baby face?
- 40:59Speaker 1: Where that from the very beginning when the entertainment started,
- 41:03Speaker 1: all entertainment. I'm a baby face what the woman named
- 41:08Speaker 1: the saying. Yeah. I helped her rearrange that because we
- 41:13Speaker 1: didn't have all day. I told her, you know a
- 41:15Speaker 1: special time you didn't have all day? What do you
- 41:18Speaker 1: mean we got speed this up? Now? You can't be
- 41:21Speaker 1: up here to get him? Come old? I was called,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I've been talking about him for a year with this hill.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I tried. I tried to get ray Childs to redo it.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Ray child said he wasn't touching it. Every No, no,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I'm talking about it. I'm talking about Negro nation lamb. Yeah. Yeah,
- 41:47Speaker 1: well I couldn't. I couldn't get nobody redo that. Finally
- 41:51Speaker 1: I got with Sheryl Lee Rob because you know, she
- 41:53Speaker 1: got crushed on it. So I found and say, hey, baby,
- 41:56Speaker 1: oh you're old. You ain't no, no, Shirley right, been
- 42:03Speaker 1: feeling me, man, long time dream girls, that personal building.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I don't really like you, you know, my personal relationship
- 42:19Speaker 1: you off to the limits. That's just off to the limits.
- 42:22Speaker 1: You know, don't don't do that. There they have a
- 42:26Speaker 1: Super Bowl good y'all. You know Rihanna was up there.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I told them stay still. You know I knew about
- 42:30Speaker 1: the baby and everything. You know, Nah, I just told
- 42:35Speaker 1: y'all I don't do no personal bilins. I just said,
- 42:38Speaker 1: that's just off to the limits. What part of that
- 42:42Speaker 1: is you're not understanding you're going up at him? Did
- 42:46Speaker 1: you get on one of the floating platforms that you
- 42:48Speaker 1: get on that? Oh no, no, no, no, I don't
- 42:51Speaker 1: do that because I'm too talented. You know, when you're
- 42:54Speaker 1: super talented, you don't need flying in propsy lights. You're
- 42:59Speaker 1: smoking me? Is at all that hill? I just get
- 43:02Speaker 1: a keyboard going up do my thing, you know what
- 43:06Speaker 1: I'm saying. Will there ever be a year when you
- 43:10Speaker 1: will perform the halftime show at the Super Bowl? Have
- 43:12Speaker 1: you been asked? Roscoe? You know they have not asked.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I don't think they're gonna ever asked because they know
- 43:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna come out there and put everybody on the
- 43:20Speaker 1: front street. You know, I know jay Z running everything nine.
- 43:23Speaker 1: He ain't saying nothing to me, you know. Yeah, but
- 43:26Speaker 1: you know, but his grandfather had mentioned me to him,
- 43:30Speaker 1: but he never said nothing. His grandfather, Cozy jay Z's grandfather,
- 43:39Speaker 1: we should call him Cozy for Sean LESCo. What you
- 43:44Speaker 1: introduced was coming up next to a prank phone call
- 43:46Speaker 1: with the Nephew Ladies is sticking around my boy the
- 43:48Speaker 1: time of time with another one incredible free right after
- 43:55Speaker 1: this you're listening show coming up at about four minutes
- 44:03Speaker 1: after the hour. It's my strawberry letter for today and
- 44:06Speaker 1: the subject is I bought him that last year. We'll
- 44:10Speaker 1: get into that find out what that's all about in
- 44:12Speaker 1: a few because right now it is time for the
- 44:14Speaker 1: nephew and today's praying phone call. What you got for us? Now?
- 44:18Speaker 1: Oh we're going deep stupid right now? Let me see here?
- 44:23Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Now? Can you hear me? Now?
- 44:28Speaker 1: Come on? Okay, hello, I'm trying to speak to sister Lauren.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Please vegan, Sister Lauren, This is a brother David's from
- 44:36Speaker 1: the church. I don't know if you know me. You
- 44:38Speaker 1: might know me when you see me, but I don't
- 44:39Speaker 1: know if you just know me because we don't really
- 44:42Speaker 1: interact that much at the church. But I wanted to
- 44:44Speaker 1: give you a call. We got a bit of a
- 44:45Speaker 1: problem going on. Okay, okay, you got you get you
- 44:48Speaker 1: have a minute to talk all right now? How long
- 44:52Speaker 1: have you been doing uh the sign you in the
- 44:56Speaker 1: you know you in the ministry where you do the
- 44:57Speaker 1: sign language for the church, and um, you know I
- 45:01Speaker 1: noticed you up there at least two Sundays out of
- 45:04Speaker 1: a out of the month. You've been doing it quite
- 45:07Speaker 1: a while, am I right? So yes, I've been doing
- 45:09Speaker 1: it for over ten years. But I'm really confused as
- 45:12Speaker 1: to why you're calling about this time. I'm just really
- 45:16Speaker 1: be confused. I don't know who you are. You say that,
- 45:19Speaker 1: I see your faith. I may know you, but what
- 45:22Speaker 1: does this have to do with anything? Is how long
- 45:24Speaker 1: I've been doing sigh language? I know? Okay, So I've
- 45:27Speaker 1: been doing it for years? So how how man help
- 45:30Speaker 1: you with this? Do you want? Okay? So, no, no,
- 45:33Speaker 1: I'm not trying to learn any sign length? Do you do?
- 45:36Speaker 1: You know? Miss everybody call him Miss Murder? Do you
- 45:38Speaker 1: know Miss Murdle? Oh yeah, sure you okay, So Miss Murdle,
- 45:43Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's that's one of my aunties right there.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Miss Murder is okay, right, And she gave you my
- 45:50Speaker 1: number to call me. I'm what what do you need
- 45:53Speaker 1: for me? Did she get? No? That's what I'm getting at. So,
- 45:57Speaker 1: so you know, miss you know my you know my
- 45:59Speaker 1: honors is there? You know she's hearing that you know
- 46:01Speaker 1: that right. Okay, okay, So so here's a problem. Ain't
- 46:07Speaker 1: Murderless telling us that you're not doing the sign language right,
- 46:11Speaker 1: doing the service and like you're missing some things in
- 46:14Speaker 1: the scripture or something. I know that's incorrect. I've been
- 46:20Speaker 1: doing this for a very long time and I know
- 46:22Speaker 1: what I'm doing. So how you so she told you
- 46:25Speaker 1: for me to tell me, but I'm not doing this
- 46:27Speaker 1: sill language correctly. Let me say, let me say this
- 46:31Speaker 1: to you. I don't want us to get off on
- 46:33Speaker 1: the wrong foot. Let me just say this to you.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Once my, once my Ain't murder told us what was
- 46:37Speaker 1: going on, you know. We then went to one of
- 46:40Speaker 1: the deacons and asked him, you know, is that way
- 46:42Speaker 1: we can uh have a meeting, you know, with with
- 46:45Speaker 1: with Sister Lawrence so we can try to get this
- 46:47Speaker 1: taken care of and talk about it. He said, well,
- 46:49Speaker 1: won't you just won't you just call and y'all can
- 46:52Speaker 1: just work it out. And and that's how I'm calling
- 46:55Speaker 1: you now. I hope. I don't know if you're at
- 46:57Speaker 1: work or whatever. I apologize, but I'm just trying to
- 46:59Speaker 1: get to the Bible. Now. Let me gonna say this,
- 47:01Speaker 1: if my ain't myrtles say that you ain't signing right?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Then my ain't he ain't lying? That means your excuse me,
- 47:09Speaker 1: that means you ain't signing right. Really, so the pastor
- 47:14Speaker 1: couldn't come to me but he but you figured you
- 47:16Speaker 1: would just call me and tell me that your auntie
- 47:19Speaker 1: says that I'm doing it incorrectly. That doesn't make sense
- 47:22Speaker 1: to me. How does she tell you that? Did she
- 47:24Speaker 1: sign it to you? She signed language to her daughter. Listen,
- 47:28Speaker 1: you ain't got to worry about who she's signing too.
- 47:30Speaker 1: What you need to worry about is getting your getting
- 47:33Speaker 1: your stuff together all right and learning how to do
- 47:36Speaker 1: this the correct way so that my ain'tie can get
- 47:38Speaker 1: You know, my anti needs to be getting the word
- 47:40Speaker 1: like everybody else getting the word, but she not getting
- 47:42Speaker 1: it because you the words getting lost in your hands.
- 47:46Speaker 1: All I'm hearing is your voice is getting very loud
- 47:49Speaker 1: and you need to match my tone, young man. Okay,
- 47:51Speaker 1: let's start with that. What I mean, man, young man?
- 47:56Speaker 1: What's that? Match my tone? Because you're getting very loud
- 48:00Speaker 1: and I can't hear through all of that. All right, okay, okay,
- 48:05Speaker 1: I am craid this situation you called my phone. Correct,
- 48:09Speaker 1: you have a problem that you're discussing with me, but
- 48:11Speaker 1: you're getting more anger than anything else. How am I
- 48:14Speaker 1: going to resolve this problem? I am trying to be
- 48:16Speaker 1: a court where you resolve this problem. Is carrer back
- 48:20Speaker 1: to science school so you can learn what you need
- 48:22Speaker 1: to so my anie can get the word. My antie
- 48:24Speaker 1: can't get out with the gospel because you're messing it up.
- 48:28Speaker 1: God anointed me to do style language at that church,
- 48:31Speaker 1: and I've been doing it for a long time and
- 48:33Speaker 1: I will continue to do so. So don't call my
- 48:36Speaker 1: phone telling me that I'm not doing something right? You know?
- 48:39Speaker 1: But do God know that you're not doing it right?
- 48:42Speaker 1: Do God know that? Does God know that my ain't
- 48:46Speaker 1: myrtle not getting the word because of you? Named young man? Jesus,
- 48:51Speaker 1: Please give me the strength to continue on with this conversation.
- 48:54Speaker 1: But you know what, Lord, I'm gonna be right back. Little.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Don't ever called my mother
- 49:01Speaker 1: freaking phone telling but I ain't doing something. Man, if
- 49:04Speaker 1: I see you in the street, this can't I have
- 49:06Speaker 1: is gonna go upside your GODDAMNT Did I make my
- 49:10Speaker 1: stuff clear? I cannot believe you talking to me like this.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Oh now you want to be calm. Now you're calm.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Now you match my tone image. I can't believe you
- 49:19Speaker 1: just got through talking to me like that. Are we done? Him?
- 49:22Speaker 1: So you think it's cool for you to tell the Lord?
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'll be right back, Thank you, Lord. I needed a moment.
- 49:29Speaker 1: You right, We've been on the stone this Lord even
- 49:31Speaker 1: on skiing at me. I told you to match my tone.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Match my tone. I am matching your tone. Now can
- 49:40Speaker 1: I say? Can I can I give you something else
- 49:43Speaker 1: in this tone? Do you mind if I say something
- 49:45Speaker 1: in this tone? You're gonna hear a clicking the dog? Quick,
- 49:48Speaker 1: go ahead. I just want to tell you in this
- 49:51Speaker 1: tone that your friend Vanda Taylor got me to prank
- 49:55Speaker 1: phone call you. I am nephew Tommy from the Steve
- 49:58Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. In your tone? Who does oh? Lord
- 50:02Speaker 1: have mercy? You have? Bonda Bonda Taylor. Bonda Taylor, tell
- 50:11Speaker 1: me you bet I put us on the radio. Put
- 50:14Speaker 1: on the radio, Bond in Jesus name, Amen radio. I'm
- 50:21Speaker 1: not playing any game time. Yeah. I think it's funny,
- 50:23Speaker 1: but it thinks this is my job here. Listen, everything
- 50:26Speaker 1: is fine? Are you having going there? I had to
- 50:29Speaker 1: tell Jesus give me a minute, because you was about
- 50:31Speaker 1: to be my pressure up. Lord, have mercy. I don't
- 50:35Speaker 1: even want to hear this, but I will be calling
- 50:37Speaker 1: Bonda because I have some mercy. Oh Lord, Lord, Lord Father,
- 50:41Speaker 1: please forgives me. Okay, you gotta you gotta do this
- 50:45Speaker 1: for me in my tone, in my tone. Tell me
- 50:48Speaker 1: in your tone, what is the baddest radio show in
- 50:51Speaker 1: the land? In your tone, Steve Hory. But for that,
- 51:06Speaker 1: we gotta give a shout out to Justina Miles. Did
- 51:09Speaker 1: you see her, the African American lady who did yeah
- 51:15Speaker 1: at the super Bowl with Rihanna and Shirley Ralph. Yeah, yeah,
- 51:22Speaker 1: with Shirley Ralph. Yeah she did. Justina Miles. Y'all related.
- 51:26Speaker 1: You're talking Miles probably is a great problem match my tone,
- 51:34Speaker 1: and I'm okay, I like it. How they can they
- 51:41Speaker 1: can just tell Jesus, Jesus, hold on one minute, let
- 51:43Speaker 1: me say this and I'll be right back start using that,
- 51:47Speaker 1: because I don't normally say that. I just goide match
- 51:54Speaker 1: like the way she told God. You know, hold on,
- 51:57Speaker 1: wait a minute, I'm being to step off the line
- 51:59Speaker 1: for I'm gonna start doing that. Make the announcement. Give

- 53:45Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject I bought
- 53:51Speaker 1: him that last year. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm going through
- 53:54Speaker 1: a divorce and my soon to be ex husband moved
- 53:57Speaker 1: on with another woman before I moved out of the house.
- 54:01Speaker 1: It was a disrespect for me. He'd come home in
- 54:04Speaker 1: the wee hours of the morning smelling like a woman
- 54:06Speaker 1: with his shirt bawled up in his hand. I'm sure
- 54:09Speaker 1: it had make up her something worse on it. Near
- 54:12Speaker 1: the end, he told me that he never wanted to
- 54:14Speaker 1: hurt me or leave the marriage, but he had to
- 54:17Speaker 1: sort some things out. He said it was not over
- 54:20Speaker 1: another woman. I believed him at first, but he started
- 54:23Speaker 1: staying out all night, and then I knew he was
- 54:26Speaker 1: on to something else. When he gave me the divorce papers,
- 54:29Speaker 1: I didn't flinch and I did not let him see
- 54:31Speaker 1: me cry or look depressed. I kept going and I
- 54:35Speaker 1: found a rental house close to my job. He would
- 54:38Speaker 1: fake cry and tell me he's going through so much,
- 54:41Speaker 1: and he loves how understanding I am. He is not
- 54:44Speaker 1: a good actor, and he's terrible at covering his tracks.
- 54:47Speaker 1: One of my sorority sisters started following him on social
- 54:51Speaker 1: media last year. He didn't follow her back, but I
- 54:54Speaker 1: did a few weeks ago. She posted a selfie in
- 54:58Speaker 1: front of my husband's as and she was wearing a
- 55:02Speaker 1: gold necklace with a diamond OH one pendant hanging on it.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I had it made from my husband a year ago
- 55:08Speaker 1: to signify that he was one of one, my number one,
- 55:12Speaker 1: my king. He never took the necklace off when I
- 55:16Speaker 1: gave it to him. I was sick to my stomach
- 55:18Speaker 1: when I saw her wearing it. It's like she wanted
- 55:21Speaker 1: me to see it. A friend of a friend told
- 55:24Speaker 1: me they have been together for a while, and this
- 55:26Speaker 1: woman is not ashamed to tell people that he left
- 55:30Speaker 1: his wife for her. It hurt like heck, but I
- 55:33Speaker 1: got closure finally. It hurt like hal she can have him,
- 55:38Speaker 1: but not the necklace. I hear you, Steve. Okay, you
- 55:46Speaker 1: could say, hale, do you ain't all that? I chose
- 55:49Speaker 1: not to, not to say hale. She can have him,
- 55:54Speaker 1: but not the necklace. Okay. I told my husband to
- 55:57Speaker 1: give the necklace back and he laughed. Am I wrong
- 56:01Speaker 1: for asking? Well? You know my answer to that is no,
- 56:05Speaker 1: of course not. You can ask anyone anything, especially your husband.
- 56:09Speaker 1: But I'm just gonna say this to you. Just stop,
- 56:13Speaker 1: don't be petty. Let that necklace go. It is okay.
- 56:17Speaker 1: It represents some bad memories for you, It really does.
- 56:20Speaker 1: I mean, it represents your husband cheating on you, lying
- 56:23Speaker 1: to you. And that's what you're gonna think of every
- 56:26Speaker 1: time you see that necklace. The bad parts, the bad parts,
- 56:31Speaker 1: And why would you want that? Because you are moving on, right,
- 56:35Speaker 1: You already got a house and everything. I mean, after all,
- 56:37Speaker 1: your husband has for sure moved on, and he did
- 56:40Speaker 1: it with your sore roar. You need to make new
- 56:43Speaker 1: and better memories in your new life again. Since you're leaving,
- 56:48Speaker 1: just leave clean. I mean you can note that if
- 56:51Speaker 1: this were money or something like that, cash or whatever,
- 56:54Speaker 1: I wouldn't tell you the same thing. I would say, yeah,
- 56:56Speaker 1: fight for it, go get it. But this is this
- 56:59Speaker 1: is a necklace. Okay, this is a necklace. It may
- 57:01Speaker 1: have some sentimental value for to you, but I think
- 57:04Speaker 1: those sentiments are gonna end up hurting you and stuff
- 57:08Speaker 1: like that instead of you know what you want him for.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I think he laughed, you said when you asked him
- 57:14Speaker 1: to give the necklace back anyway, And I just say,
- 57:17Speaker 1: if you're truly moving on, do it and don't look
- 57:20Speaker 1: back necklace and all leave it. Steve Um. You know, look,
- 57:29Speaker 1: let me start at the bottom of the letter. Am
- 57:34Speaker 1: I wrong for? I told my husband that he got
- 57:37Speaker 1: to give me the necklace back, and he laughed. Am
- 57:40Speaker 1: I wrong? Fasting? Yeah, you're dead wrong fast It ain't yours,
- 57:44Speaker 1: it's his. It's his necklace. You gave it to him.
- 57:51Speaker 1: If you get a divorce outre you gonna give him
- 57:53Speaker 1: the ring back? Nope? So and and you shouldn't because
- 58:00Speaker 1: it's yours, so you know, and ain't nobody else giving
- 58:04Speaker 1: it back either, it's no, no, and you're dad wrong
- 58:07Speaker 1: fasking for it back. But let me going back to
- 58:09Speaker 1: the top of the letter. Now, this is what I
- 58:12Speaker 1: don't understand. You're going through a divorce soon. Your ex
- 58:15Speaker 1: husband moved in with another woman for you, moved out
- 58:17Speaker 1: the house. It's the disrespect for me. He'd come home
- 58:21Speaker 1: in the wee hours of the morning's smelling like a
- 58:23Speaker 1: woman with his shirt balled up in his hand. What
- 58:28Speaker 1: who do that? Yeah? What white? Even bring this shirt home?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Throw it away? It ain't that much. Let that go.
- 58:43Speaker 1: That shirt you don't even need to bring that's an empidence.
- 58:45Speaker 1: You don't even need to bring that in the house.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Should have threw that out the window. The heir you
- 58:52Speaker 1: look like walking in the house with no shirt on't
- 58:54Speaker 1: got her shirt with the makeup and stuff on it
- 58:55Speaker 1: in your hand, balled up like she ain't gonna say
- 58:58Speaker 1: that baby? Wear your shirt? What? What? What? What shirt?
- 59:01Speaker 1: The one is in your hand? Why is balled up?
- 59:04Speaker 1: Why even why even make that a question? I'm sure
- 59:07Speaker 1: it had makeup or something worse on it. Near the end,
- 59:10Speaker 1: he told me he never wanted to hurt me or
- 59:12Speaker 1: leave the marriage, but he had to sort some things out.
- 59:16Speaker 1: What the hell do that mean? I never meant to
- 59:20Speaker 1: hurt you or leading marriage, but I need to sort
- 59:22Speaker 1: some things out. The hell do that mean? He said
- 59:26Speaker 1: it was not over another woman. I believed him at first?
- 59:30Speaker 1: How how you believe him at first? He standing in
- 59:35Speaker 1: front of you with no shirt on, and the shirt
- 59:38Speaker 1: he had on his ball up in his hand. You
- 59:42Speaker 1: believe what at first? This ain't about no woman? Why
- 59:45Speaker 1: is your shirt balled up in your head? Man O,
- 59:48Speaker 1: man o, man? I don't know what to tell you, lady,
- 59:54Speaker 1: But when I come bath, I'm gonna tell you the rest. Okay,
- 59:59Speaker 1: all right, hang on, we'll have part two of your
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Subject is I bought him that last year. We'll get
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: is I bought him that last year. This woman is
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: leaving her husband and getting a divorce. She's upset because
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: he moves well on with another woman before I moved
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: out with the house. He said, he moved on with
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: another woman before I moved out of the house. He
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: didn't move out the house. He moved on with another
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: woman before she moved out the house. It was disrespect
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: for me. He come in the wee hours of the morning,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: smelling like a woman, with his shirt balled up in
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: his hand. I don't know how to heal you do that?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: How he had two shirts at least, So why would
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: you bring that shirt to the house balled up? It's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: just ustupid to do this, so stupid. I'm sure it
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: had makeup owner or something more. Near the end, he
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: told me they never wanted to hurt me or lead
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: the marriage, but they had to saw some things out.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell that means. He said,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: it wasn't over woman. I believed him at first. You
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: believed him at first. Now at first you believed him.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: But he's standing there with no shirt on, with the
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: shirt balled up in his hand. What man, where do
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: these women at? Because I have never had never had
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: no man, No, no, I've never had I had women? What?
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Why is your shirt in your head? I'm going through
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: some things. Why do I smell all that perfet or? So?
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: It's not a woman anyway? Then, then she said, but
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: he started staying out all night Then I knew he
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: was on to something else when he gave me the
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: divorce papers. Wow, that was a quick jump after you
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: let him go with the shirt ball up in his hand.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Then he started staying out all night. Then he gave
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you divorce papers. Surprised. I didn't flinch. I didn't let
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: him on the cry. Nothing looked depressed, none of that.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I just kept going find the rental house. But you
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: know he's not a good actor. He would fake crying
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: to him. He's going through so much and he loves
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: how understanding I am. He ain't a good actor, and
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: he's terrible at covering his tracks. Then you said one
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: of your sorority sisters started following him on social media.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: He didn't follow her back, but I did a few
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: weeks ago, she posted a selfie in front of my
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: husband's as UV. She was wearing a gold necklace with
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: a diamond zero one old one pendant hanging on it.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I had it made for my husband a year ago.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Signified that he was one of one, my number one,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: my king. You ain't lying he won on one because
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I don't know. No dude that come in the house
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: with their shirt balled up in their hands he is
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: definitely a one over one man out of anything with
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: that shirt. Had had it in my hand. Yeah, he
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: never took the necklace off when I gave it to him.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I was sick to my stomach when I saw her way.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: It's like she wanted me to see it. See but lady.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: And then a friend of a friend told me they've
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: been together for a while and this woman is not
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: ashamed to tell people he left his wife for her.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: It hurt like hell, but I got closure. Finally she
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: can have him, but not the necklace. I told my
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: husband to give the necklace back, and he laughed. Am
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I wrong for asking? Yes? Yes, she's wrong for asking,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: because it's his. You asked him for it back. He
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: started laughing. You gave it to him because you said
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: he was one of the one, yo number one and
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: yo King. He took it off his neck and gave
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: it to her because she's one of the one, his queen,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: and he gave it to it. My question to you is,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: why do you even want the damn necklace? What good
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: is the necklace? I mean, really, what so you can
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: say you got it back? What it's just it's over.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: You said you had closure didn't close it walk away. Ain't.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: My father taught me a very variable lesson in life.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: He says, son, the best lesson is a balt lesson.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I didn't know what he means until he just kept
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: telling it to me over and over, and finally one
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: day he just said, son, the lesson you pay for
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: is the best lesson in the world. Yeah, the best.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Ain't no lesson like a bolt lesson, the one you
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: pay for. Oh, brother, that just helped me so much.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Now it's also a sign and a way for you
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: to really have real closure. You bought that misery out
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: your life. He wasn't a good man. He didn't do
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: you right. He's moved on. Let your sorority seems to happen.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: You know, I would post it on the sorority website.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: You would, Oh, I mean, you know, you know, you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: ain't gonna get the necklace back, but just say, you know,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: get her line name, get get get her line name,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: get the year she crossed, you know, and just say
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I want to thank my sister so and so, so
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: and so spring bringing eighty eighty nine, bring ninety four,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: whatever it was. Probably you know, there's just just this
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: new stuff right here. Old people whoop your ass? Just
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: what it went? Pot and put spring bring two old
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: five whatever. I just want to say, Uh, she's wearing
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: my ex husband's necklace that I bought and it looks
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: and it looks divine on you. Just say it looks
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: divine on you, you know, and just say something like that.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Don't don't say nothing ugly, just post it and be
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: complimentary of oh and that too. All right, Yeah, there
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: you go. Please leave your comments on today on Instagram

- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I think it came about it wasn't about nothing right there.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: She was a start five star. She was cold, but
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: it wasn't about nothing like that. Yeah, another thing we
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: ain't talked about this year already, Man, merciers, did you
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: princes cold? Prince was number one? Number one? That was Miami.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: So so Prince had a better super Bowl than Michael
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Jackson in the rain with a do rain was cold man,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Michael cold? There was what what what are the rankings though?
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Who was number one? Prince? Yeah, Prince Prince was number
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: two Michael's number two and the number three. Number three
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: might be what we saw last year that might think
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: they were four. I remember who was three. Let's see
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: beyond Mars, Bruno, Mars had a great super Bowl. Beyonce,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: you gotta say yon stage rag it's Janet and then
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: when a little confusion number three. Okay, okay, okay, I
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: think you two remember bon YouTube. I think I ain't
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: had I ain't known of their music at that time.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I was in school. I ain't know them, so none
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: of their music. Did y'all do like any of the
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: commercials this year? Did y'all any commercials? Grab y'all? No?
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Potentially No? Yeah. I like ben Affleck and j that
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: was pretty cool and Duca, Yeah, nothing's cute. He got commercial?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Did he commercial? Don't Jingles? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah No.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Stephens still mad about Philly. We gotta deal with that. Yeah.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: He gonna need a minute, Junior, he gonna say, okay, cool, Well,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: we got it all right, Junior. Thank you. Coming up
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll talk about these Tuscaloosa,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Alabama high school orders to students not to do civil
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: rights during Black History Month. We'll talk about it right
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: after this you're listening to Steven Show. More than two
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: hundred students walked out of class at Hillcrest High School
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This was after they claimed they were
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: ordered by their school leaders to leave out major historical moments,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: including slavery and the civil rights movement, in a student
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: led Black History Month program that will take place on
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: February twenty second. The students were allegedly told that they
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: couldn't talk about slavery and civil rights because one of
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: the administrators get this felt uncomfortable. Lisa Young, the president
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: of the NAACP's Tuscaloosa branch, has gotten involved and expressed
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: her anger to school officials. The Tuscaloosa County School superintendent
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: issued a statement that they're putting together a plan to
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: make sure the students feel heard. So here's a question.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Do you think black history will slowly but surely be
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: erased from every school district soon? It's like that's what
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: they're trying to do if we let it. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: we are. We are powerful enough block of people to
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: stop that. We can overturn this foolishness in Florida if
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: we got behind it, you know, But we have to
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: think it's worthy. Well you can stop waiting on them
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: to think it's worthy, because they're proving over and over
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that they don't. And this woman right here clearly says
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: she don't want to do it because she's uncomfortable. She
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: didn't want to hear about slave and civil rights. Oh oh, oh,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: oh oh, it's uncomfortable. Well, it was very uncomfortable for us,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and it continue to be uncomfortable for us on a
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: daily It is uncomfortable for us to go down here
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: and hear you raise your hand at the meeting to
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: say it's uncomfortable for you. How dare you be more
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: uncomfortable about something than we are? And it didn't even
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: happen to you. You just got to face what your
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: forefathers did. It's okaytable it's okay they did it. It's
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: what they did it, and it's what you're doing now.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: You're just a two point old version of your great
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: great grandfather. You just found a way to bring it
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: into modern day discrimination. You just I'm gonna say it's uncomfortable,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: and I'm a white woman, so it's uncomfortable to me. Now,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: everybody got to just round your weekend about to give
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: a damn cause you're uncomfortablefort right. We're uncomfortable every single
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: day we wake up in this world today we can't.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: We are scared to turn on the news. We are
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: scared for our children to go to school. We're scared
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: for our children to drive. We're scared for our children
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: get pulled off by the police. We're scared if our
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: children to play their music too loud. We scared if
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: our children be out at night. We're scared. Now, I
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: ain't saying, ain't no White people scared of the same
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: things for their children. But you ain't got to explain
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: to your children how to act when the police stop.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: They called you, ain't got explain that to him, And
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: you most certainly are not watching the TV news. When
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: police kill unarmed people, they are always people of color.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: They ain't never nobody else. Now they pull white people
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: over all the time, white people got licensed to carry,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: White people have guns, and they call white people say
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: all drugs, but they get pulled over and the innocent
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: don't get killed. If it's true, where is the damn
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: news story? We're waiting. No, it's always just us, and
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: y'all sit decks and act like your ass is uncomfortable.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: You are uncomfortable. I wish I'll tell you right now
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: if it was happening to you, I bet you tighten up. Huh. So,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: So let me get this right. Hundreds of kids and tusclusion.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Don't get blank history because she uncomfortable. Yeah, word by
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: the school leaders, her cofee priority. Yeah. And the civil
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: rights Please don't talk about doctor king knock this month.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Don't do it, yeah, please don't. Man. The privilege of
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: it more the fact that you get to say you
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: are uncomfortable. Somebody passed a law. Well, I wish it
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: was that easy, lady, because we are uncomfortable with all
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: these killers. Well, we ain't getting no laws passed to
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: help us with none of this, right, man, Oh, I'd
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: make it so black on her hands. All right? Coming
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: listening to show. Well, every year the Super Bowl champions

- 1:15:35Speaker 1: a little monkey ass tripped down Disneyland. I'm gonna lost
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: this damn super Bowl. All this money, y'all said, mere
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: talking to some disney Land, the one I could have bought,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: all I could have bought. Anybody want to go to
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: damn disney Land? Are you speaking for the Eagles, I'm
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: speaking for all the damn eats. Okay, I don't want
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: to go to no damn Disneyland. You've lost the damn
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes and his wife had a fun
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: feel day at Disneyland on Monday and they were escorted

- 1:16:33Speaker 1: rather be surrounded by clear blue water or a lush,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: beautiful green forest? Clear blue water? It didn't say it
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: didn't say nothing about no beach, Junior. What did you say,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Sarah around it? Surrounded by clear blue water? What do yeah?
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: See that? That's I'll make all the difference in the world.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I'm going get in that forest so I can walk off,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: or something standing in the water, not even just surrounded.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: I'd have been surrounded about blue water. If you ain't
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: in the right size equipment, it's not it's scary too much,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: all right? Moving on to would you rather have great
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: sex in one position or average sex in several positions?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: A lot of FO don't know. Average is good too,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: It don't. I don't know. That's like fried chicken two
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: days later, it's still whoa You better ask somebody, so, Junior,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: you had a difference of opinion. No, No, I didn't.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I say the average that's fine and several positions. Here
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: you get a lot of stuff we can do in here.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: But it's not gonna be great though, because good is addictive.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: I don't don't nobody want that. That's you get caught up?
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Who are you talking to when I'm trying to understand
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: what you say? Good? Good sex is overrated? That really
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: is doing all kinds of stuff? It is, because then
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: you're gonna want to do this all the time. And
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I got to go to work. I can't. I got
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: stuff to do a lot of different learn something new
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: every yea, All right? Would you rather have a biddet
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: on your toilet? Or would you rather have heated seats
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: in your car? Got both of them? Go ahead, rich boy?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: You shut up. You got him too. You're the one
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: who showed them to me. Stop. Yeah, but you jumped
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: out there at first. Well I got both of them.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: So what I ain't got? Yeah? Yeah, I don't know
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: how people go no more without wanted them. I just
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: don't know how you do really really boy? Yeah, I
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: don't want to sound crazy, but what is a bid?
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Come on? Average? Come on? What you look at this
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: new house? How about that? I'm gonna send one over
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: there that tells you, man, I'm about to see what
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: it is. It looks like a toilet, but it shoots water.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Who who? Who? Wa wall? You said you're gonna send
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: him one over there. Okay, you, hey, juju ju, sit
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: there and wait and see if a little rich skins
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: you send your ass. All right, that's today's round of
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: would you rather? We'll be back at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: after with the last break of the day and closing
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: You're gonna live in the bathroom after you get this.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: You're you're gonna stay in there. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are our last
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: break of the day on this Wednesday. Steve, it was
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: a good day. Huh. Yeah, a great day. Yeah, great day. Hey, listen,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: My clothes remarks is gonna be pretty simple today. I
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: just want to get at and just addressed us a
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: couple of things. I haven't really put it together in
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: my mind, but so it's gonna sound a bit scattered,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I'm sure. But I was just thinking about so much stuff. Man.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: The recent story that we did on the radio about
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: the lady in Tuscaloosa where the students walked out of
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: the school. Two hundred students had to walk out because
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: doing Black History Month, they were given We wanted to
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: give a presentation, and the white woman said she felt
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: uncomfortable if they talked about slavery or civil rights, and
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: so now they told the kids that they couldn't make
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: any of those comments doing their presentation. So the students
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: have walked out, as we should. You know, it's amazing
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: to me, man, how we allow other people's discomfort to
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: be so recognized, so heartfelt, when ours had been ignored
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: for years and jacades and hundreds of years. I really
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: could care less about you feeling uncomfortable listening about slavery
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: and civil rights. We are uncomfortable talking about it. And
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: you know why we are uncomfortable talking about it because
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: we're still dealing with it. It feels like the same
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: thing that's happening over again, y'all just and reshaped it
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and put it in a different form and a different package.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: It's racism two point zero It's what we keep dealing with.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: We're about to go into racism three point zero two
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: because it don't seem like it's going nowhere. You want
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to erase black history from school curriculums. They've already started
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: in Florida. This racist move right here. It's just crazy
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: to me. It's it's crazy. How they can hurry up
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: and make an amendment about something they want to do,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: but when it comes something that's good for us or
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: the nation, then we got a problem with it. So
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: you can't teach black history in a classroom, but you
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: can buy a gun. I'm I'm stumped. You wait a minute.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: You can't vote without having excess ID, but you can
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: buy a gun with a damn driver's license. I'm confused.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I'm so confused about this. You can't buy alcohol in
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: a dry county, but you can buy a gun anywhere.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: M do you know this that It's amazing, man, the
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: things that they that they can find the time to disallow.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: You can't buy weed, but you can buy a gun.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I'm what. You can't go to the mall, but you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: can't go buy guns. We don't even do news stories
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: no more about breaking and entering because all of the
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: stories that we talk about have to be more violent
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: because news is only thirty minutes. So now unless you
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: go get a gun, you ain't even gonna make the news.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Let's watch. That's why when you turn the news on, man,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you're in over saturated with just negativity, hurt, and pain.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: This country right here man is involved right now. I
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: don't know if we paid attention to this. We're involved
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: in a sickness, man, and we're not getting better because
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: the people that you've elected to run this country ain't
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: got no intentions of making it better. Because if it
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: don't fit one party or the other party, it don't
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: fit the people. Something wrong with this, hill man, something
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: wrong with this? Right here? You got to either be
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: right or left. Well, I hate tell you this, but
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: it's a middle if the summer for the America. It's
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: the golden eagle. If that so is your choice to
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: call yourself. In order for an eagle to fly properly,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: it must have a right wing and it's got to
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: have a left wing. But guess what's in between those wings.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: It's the body, and the ain't nobody listening to what's
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: best for the body, because now they got it. So
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: now where you got to pick one or the other,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you can't have a vote. I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I don't like the extreme right, I just don't. But
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: I don't like the extreme left either, I just don't.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry. So, so who do I get to vote for?
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Because they didn't fix it? Now? Man, where they're trying to.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: They've saturated and and fix it up. So where you
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: got to go right or left? It ain't no middle vote.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: It's a Republicans Democrats. And if you're Democrat, you gotta
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: appease the left and the far left. And if you're Republican,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: you gotta appease the right and the far right. We
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: saw the far right on January sixth. They exist there
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: in this country. They the far right. We saw the
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: far right get rid of Row versus Wade, but then
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: we also watched the far left do what they want
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: to do too. We now have to accept everything that
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: everybody want to be and talk about and call theirselves
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: or if you don't like what they are now, no
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: matter what you're looking at, then you're wrong for that.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Oh man, that's crazy, that's crazy. We're so free in
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: this country. We don't freed ourselves up to the position
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: where we can't do nothing right. This is a sad
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: state we're in. But to that lady in Tuscalooser that's
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: uncomfortable hearing about civil rights and slavery, you can't imagine
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: how uncomfortable we are. It's unthinkable. So congratulations to the
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: students at Tuscaloosa. We support you. Anything you need from
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Uncle Steve, shoot us an email on the email bag
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: or we'll help you out. But we support your Wholehearty
