- 0:03Speaker 2: Nobody deal.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Oh, we're going to be a good deal.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I think we have a I think we're going to
- 0:08Speaker 1: make a very good deal with Jenn. I think that
- 0:13Speaker 1: you will see we'll make a very good deal with Jed.
- 0:15Speaker 4: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:19Speaker 5: Welcome, It is the forty seven Morning Update with Ben
- 0:22Speaker 5: Ferguson on this very special good Friday. We have three
- 0:25Speaker 5: big stories for you this morning. And first up, Donald
- 0:29Speaker 5: Trump has developed a plan to pay illegal immigrants to
- 0:33Speaker 5: self deport I'll have those details for you in a
- 0:36Speaker 5: second up. Next, in a shocking move, major networks refuse
- 0:41Speaker 5: to take the White House briefing where angel mother Patty
- 0:45Speaker 5: Morin recounted the terrible tragedy of how an a legal killer,
- 0:49Speaker 5: decided to take her daughter's life. We are going to
- 0:53Speaker 5: have that story for you because they wouldn't er it.
- 0:56Speaker 5: And finally we're joined by the EPA Administrator Lee as
- 1:01Speaker 5: he talks about terminating Biden Harris twenty billion dollars in
- 1:06Speaker 5: wasteful spending and grants that he described as throwing gold
- 1:10Speaker 5: bars off the Titanic. It's the forty seven Morning Update
- 1:13Speaker 5: and it starts right now.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Story number one.
- 1:16Speaker 5: Get ready to celebrate. Donald Trump has come out with
- 1:19Speaker 5: a new plan to pay illegal migrants to self deport
- 1:24Speaker 5: and it could save you hundreds of billions of dollars.
- 1:28Speaker 5: President Trump saying it's time to help illegal immigrants self
- 1:32Speaker 5: deport from the United States. Why well, this is happening
- 1:35Speaker 5: as Democrats have launched a massive resistance. The President making
- 1:39Speaker 5: it very clear, saying, quote, we're doing a self deportation program,
- 1:44Speaker 5: and we're going to make it comfortable for people, and
- 1:47Speaker 5: we're going to work with those people to come back
- 1:49Speaker 5: into our country legally, the good ones. That is what
- 1:53Speaker 5: Donald Trump said to the Spanish language division of Fox News.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Trump made it very clear he's deciding how the program
- 2:00Speaker 5: is going to work. It could be giving people stipends
- 2:03Speaker 5: or even giving people some money and a plane ticket,
- 2:06Speaker 5: and we're going to work, he says, with the illegal
- 2:09Speaker 5: immigrants who are willing to self deport. He also said this,
- 2:13Speaker 5: if they're good, if we want them back in, we're
- 2:16Speaker 5: going to work with them to get them back in
- 2:18Speaker 5: as quickly as we can. Now, this may be the
- 2:22Speaker 5: carrot that the President is dangling, saying, yeah, you believe,
- 2:26Speaker 5: and you self deport quickly, and this administration will remember
- 2:30Speaker 5: that when you try to come back. The idea of
- 2:32Speaker 5: paying illegal immigrants to leave isn't a bad idea and
- 2:35Speaker 5: principle is also part of what the President had to say, as.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You probably know, we're doing a self deportation and we're
- 2:42Speaker 1: going to make it comfortable for people, and we're going
- 2:44Speaker 1: to work with those people to come back into our
- 2:46Speaker 1: country legally. Stephan good, Well, well, we're starting it. We
- 2:52Speaker 1: haven't started it right now. We're getting the murderers out.
- 2:55Speaker 1: We have our we have our our total aim. When
- 2:59Speaker 1: the very bad one says, you can imagine because you
- 3:01Speaker 1: have some great people that came in, but we have
- 3:03Speaker 1: some very bad ones. We had eleven thousand and eighty
- 3:05Speaker 1: eight murderers, half of them killed more than one person.
- 3:10Speaker 1: These are rough, bad people. We want them out and
- 3:13Speaker 1: that's mostly our focus. But what we want to do
- 3:17Speaker 1: is we're going to have a self deportation program, which
- 3:20Speaker 1: we haven't even announced yet. I guess I'm announcing it
- 3:22Speaker 1: to you. What Rachel here it is, the only thing
- 3:25Speaker 1: I haven't determined is what are we going to do.
- 3:27Speaker 1: We're gonna give them a stipend. We're going to give
- 3:29Speaker 1: them some money and a plane ticket, and then we're
- 3:32Speaker 1: going to work with them. If they're good, if we
- 3:34Speaker 1: want them back in, We're going to work with them
- 3:35Speaker 1: to get them back in as quickly as we can.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Now some of you may be asking, why would we
- 3:39Speaker 5: actually help people deport pay them to deport themselves. Well,
- 3:44Speaker 5: it's a numbers game, is what it basically comes down to.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Trump's top immigration aid Steven Miller, said the deputies are
- 3:51Speaker 5: working to do whatever they can to get the more
- 3:54Speaker 5: than fifteen million illegals who came in during Joe Biden's
- 3:58Speaker 5: presidency out of the country. He also said these fifteen
- 4:02Speaker 5: million illegals are competing for work in housing against roughly
- 4:06Speaker 5: three hundred and twenty million Americans. Christy Nome, the Secretary
- 4:10Speaker 5: of the Department of Homeland Security, estimates the overall legal
- 4:13Speaker 5: migrant population is now twenty one million strong. Trump officials
- 4:19Speaker 5: are reviving laws that require migrants to register with the government.
- 4:24Speaker 5: They're canceling visas and enabling border militarization. They are canceling
- 4:29Speaker 5: social security numbers, empowering states and local law enforcement agencies
- 4:34Speaker 5: to arrest illegal immigrants, and they're better coordinating the enforcement
- 4:39Speaker 5: of anti crime laws. Trump is also facing protests from
- 4:43Speaker 5: white collar supporters who are being pushed out of jobs
- 4:46Speaker 5: and careers by counter productive H one B visa program
- 4:50Speaker 5: for mixed killed foreign workers. At least one point five
- 4:54Speaker 5: million migrants hold white collar jobs legally and illegally throughout
- 4:58Speaker 5: the US economy. Well, now you may understand why the
- 5:01Speaker 5: President is advocating for this. Now he's saying, the faster
- 5:04Speaker 5: we can get illegal immigrants out, the better it is
- 5:07Speaker 5: for American workers and for our bottom line is taxpayers. Yes,
- 5:12Speaker 5: some are going to find this controversial, but when you
- 5:14Speaker 5: understand the magnitude of how many illegal immigrants are taking
- 5:18Speaker 5: away from Americans, you understand this may be the best
- 5:21Speaker 5: check taxpayers have ever written.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Next story number two.
- 5:25Speaker 5: There was an extremely powerful moment inside the White House
- 5:29Speaker 5: Press briefing room that happened, and it was shameful to
- 5:32Speaker 5: witness CNN and MSNBC, for example, refuse to take the
- 5:36Speaker 5: Angel mom Patty Morin's story as she recounts the terrible
- 5:41Speaker 5: tragedy of how an illegal immigrant killed her beautiful daughter Rachel.
- 5:47Speaker 5: This story should have been a story that the media covered.
- 5:51Speaker 5: But what do they do. Many in the media decided
- 5:53Speaker 5: not to cover it at all because they didn't want you.
- 5:57Speaker 6: To hear her story.
- 5:58Speaker 5: We're going to play that story for you right now.
- 6:01Speaker 5: It is an important one, and I hope every one
- 6:03Speaker 5: of you will share this podcast wherever you can on
- 6:06Speaker 5: social media so that everyone can hear exactly what this
- 6:10Speaker 5: age your mom, Patty Morin of Maryland told to the
- 6:14Speaker 5: American people. As you describe it, it's the whole story
- 6:17Speaker 5: of her daughter and what happened.
- 6:19Speaker 7: A lot of you don't know the whole story about
- 6:23Speaker 7: Rachel and about the crime that was committed against her.
- 6:27Speaker 7: Even us, her family, we didn't know all the details.
- 6:31Speaker 7: They kept most of it close to their chest, the
- 6:34Speaker 7: detectives because they didn't want to do anything to hurt
- 6:41Speaker 7: the case. They wanted to keep the integrity of the case,
- 6:45Speaker 7: so they kept everything close. I sat for the last
- 6:48Speaker 7: two weeks in her trial, and we saw layer upon
- 6:53Speaker 7: layer upon layer of evidence against the accused, an illegal
- 6:58Speaker 7: immigrant from Mouthsalva door, and the things that we thought, well,
- 7:02Speaker 7: maybe this might have happened. We didn't know. But when
- 7:06Speaker 7: we were at the trial, we got all the puzzle pieces,
- 7:09Speaker 7: and I want to share some of those things with you.
- 7:11Speaker 7: You know that Rachel's a thirty seven year old mother.
- 7:14Speaker 7: She has five children. We've walked the trail for the
- 7:17Speaker 7: last twenty five years that we've lived in Maryland. It's
- 7:20Speaker 7: a safe place for our family. It's where we go
- 7:22Speaker 7: to get a little bit of New England, because that's
- 7:25Speaker 7: where we're from, New England. When she went on that
- 7:28Speaker 7: trail that day, she was not planning on dying. She
- 7:31Speaker 7: wasn't planning on walking to her death. She was planning
- 7:34Speaker 7: on going to the grocery store with her girls afterwards.
- 7:37Speaker 7: Victor Martinez, he waited for her, He waited for her
- 7:41Speaker 7: to come closer. He saw her, He saw that there
- 7:44Speaker 7: was nobody around. He attacked her. He dragged her one
- 7:50Speaker 7: hundred and fifty feet, blood gushing from her head. It
- 7:53Speaker 7: left one hundred and fifty foot trail of her blood
- 7:56Speaker 7: to the culverts where he took He picked her up.
- 8:00Speaker 7: He threw her against the wall of the tunnel and
- 8:05Speaker 7: he raped her. But before he did that, he stopped
- 8:08Speaker 7: on the trail and rocks still stained with her blood.
- 8:12Speaker 7: He used them to hammer her head against those rocks.
- 8:17Speaker 7: They say twenty at least twenty times. They could count
- 8:22Speaker 7: the cuts in her head. They said that when they
- 8:25Speaker 7: did the autopsy, and I've seen the pictures. There's a
- 8:28Speaker 7: six inch square in the back of her head where
- 8:32Speaker 7: the skull is shattered the way that you would crush
- 8:35Speaker 7: an eggshell in pieces, three fords of her brain. Hemorrhaged,
- 8:40Speaker 7: her right and left side of her face, bashed in
- 8:43Speaker 7: her beautiful face, bashed in her head, bashed in, broken bones, fractures.
- 8:50Speaker 7: He takes and he drags her some more. He drags
- 8:53Speaker 7: her through the thorn bushes. She has all the scrapes
- 8:58Speaker 7: and cuts on her body. There wasn't one inch of
- 9:01Speaker 7: her body that didn't have some kind of injury, whether
- 9:04Speaker 7: it's bruising, broken bones, contusions, the scratches. She had a
- 9:11Speaker 7: fractured rib, fractured nose, fractured skull. And then he takes
- 9:15Speaker 7: her into the tunnel and he picks her up. He
- 9:18Speaker 7: throws her against the wall. Blood is gushing from her head.
- 9:22Speaker 7: Her hair is soaked in blood. And they showed us
- 9:25Speaker 7: pictures of her body against the wall, outlined the blood
- 9:29Speaker 7: outlined her body, and you could see where the blood
- 9:34Speaker 7: ran down around her as he was raping her. And
- 9:37Speaker 7: then he threw her down and raked her some more,
- 9:39Speaker 7: and then he strangled her because he didn't want her
- 9:43Speaker 7: to be able to live to tell the story. They
- 9:45Speaker 7: said that when they did the autopsy on her neck,
- 9:48Speaker 7: that one of the things they do is they open
- 9:50Speaker 7: up the neck and they look to see how far
- 9:52Speaker 7: the injury is, and they went all the way down
- 9:55Speaker 7: as far as an injury as possible, hemorrhaging in the muscles.
- 10:00Speaker 7: Of how strong and violent the group was around her.
- 10:06Speaker 7: These are the kind of people that have no compulsion,
- 10:11Speaker 7: like to them, this is nothing. And when he was
- 10:14Speaker 7: sitting in the courtroom, he actually looked like he thought
- 10:19Speaker 7: he was going to be set free. There was no
- 10:22Speaker 7: remorse on his face at all. This person took my
- 10:26Speaker 7: daughter so violently and so gruesomely and so graphically that
- 10:32Speaker 7: they sealed the pictures because I don't want my granddaughters
- 10:35Speaker 7: to see these pictures. These are the kind of criminals
- 10:39Speaker 7: President Trump wants to remove from our country. These are
- 10:43Speaker 7: the kind of criminals that we need to remove from
- 10:46Speaker 7: our country. We are American citizens. Why should we allow
- 10:50Speaker 7: people like this, violent criminals that have no conscience at
- 10:54Speaker 7: all to murder our mothers, our sisters, our daughters. What
- 11:01Speaker 7: I don't understand.
- 11:02Speaker 5: I hope every one of you listening to Patty Morin's story,
- 11:06Speaker 5: and it's excruciating to listen to, We'll share it with
- 11:09Speaker 5: your family and your friends, because the reality is millions
- 11:13Speaker 5: of foreign men have come across the border illegally in
- 11:16Speaker 5: recent years as gotaways, as catch and releases. Under the
- 11:20Speaker 5: Biden administration, there is little, in fact zero concern for
- 11:25Speaker 5: media and activists about vetting back then of the people
- 11:28Speaker 5: coming into this country, including those on the terrorists watch list.
- 11:31Speaker 3: And now all of a.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Sudden, what are the Democrats doing. They're scrutinizing every person
- 11:37Speaker 5: that's being deported from this country, and they're standing up
- 11:42Speaker 5: for them instead of Patty Moren's daughter. I hope that
- 11:46Speaker 5: this story is a reminder to all of us of
- 11:48Speaker 5: exactly what Donald Trump is fighting for, and it's people
- 11:52Speaker 5: like Patty and her family instead of the MS thirteen
- 11:56Speaker 5: gang members that are being sent to El Salvador.
- 11:58Speaker 4: And here is story number three.
- 12:00Speaker 5: EPA administrator Lee Zelden sat down with me and senter
- 12:03Speaker 5: Ted Kruz for the podcast that we do together called
- 12:06Speaker 5: Verdict with Ted Cruz, and he has criticized the Biden
- 12:10Speaker 5: administration's management of the twenty billion dollar Greenhouse Gas Reduction
- 12:16Speaker 5: Fund known as gg RF, liking in it to throwing
- 12:20Speaker 5: gold bars off the Titanic. I want you to hear
- 12:23Speaker 5: from the EPA administrator, Leez Elden, in his own words
- 12:27Speaker 5: about the waste, fraud and abuse that he is uncovering
- 12:31Speaker 5: and stopping at the EPA.
- 12:33Speaker 2: EPA's annual budget is about ten billion dollars. So far,
- 12:38Speaker 2: I've canceled twenty two billion dollars worth of grants.
- 12:42Speaker 3: And how is that possible? One might ask.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Well, in twenty twenty four, the amount that EPA obligated
- 12:48Speaker 2: and spent was over sixty billion dollars. A lot of
- 12:51Speaker 2: money came through the Inflation Reduction Act when Democrats were
- 12:55Speaker 2: in charge of Congress, and a lot of that money
- 12:57Speaker 2: went through EPA. They created these green slush and in
- 13:00Speaker 2: one case, twenty billion dollars which they couldn't get out
- 13:04Speaker 2: on their own fast enough. They ended up parking at
- 13:07Speaker 2: an outside bank. Towards the end of the Biden administration
- 13:10Speaker 2: to give through eight pass through NGOs, many of them
- 13:13Speaker 2: were brand new. One is that Stacy Abrams linked NGO
- 13:17Speaker 2: that received two billion, even though they only received one
- 13:19Speaker 2: hundred dollars in twenty twenty three, and because of self dealing.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Wait, hold on a second, they went from one hundred
- 13:25Speaker 6: dollars to two billion dollars.
- 13:29Speaker 3: How crazy is that?
- 13:30Speaker 2: And then on page seven of their grant agreement, the
- 13:33Speaker 2: Biden EPA gives them ninety days to complete a training
- 13:36Speaker 2: called how to develop a Budget.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Now, if you feel like this.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Is you know, with two billion dollars, you don't need
- 13:42Speaker 6: much of a budget, just spend on whatever you want.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Oh, I'll add another dynamic to it.
- 13:46Speaker 2: On page one of the grant agreement, they have twenty
- 13:49Speaker 2: one days to start spending the money. So from day
- 13:52Speaker 2: zero they have twenty one days to start spending money.
- 13:55Speaker 2: They had ninety days to complete a training called how
- 13:58Speaker 2: to develop a budget.
- 13:59Speaker 6: Look, this is insane. And you described what you found
- 14:04Speaker 6: as essentially twenty billion dollars in gold bars that were
- 14:08Speaker 6: being thrown off the Titanic. That that the Biden administration
- 14:12Speaker 6: they realized, Oh, no, Trump is coming in, let's just
- 14:15Speaker 6: throw this all out the window. I mean, is that
- 14:16Speaker 6: what you found.
- 14:17Speaker 2: That's exactly what happened and what alerted Senate Republicans like
- 14:22Speaker 2: Senator Cruz. This was something that Senator Cruz and I
- 14:24Speaker 2: spoke about back in December when we met before my
- 14:28Speaker 2: confirmation hearing.
- 14:28Speaker 3: There was this video that came out of a Biden.
- 14:31Speaker 2: EPA political appointee, a Biden EPA political appointe, talking about
- 14:35Speaker 2: how they were tossing gold bars off the Titanic rushing
- 14:38Speaker 2: and get billions of dollars out the door before in inauguration.
- 14:41Speaker 6: This was a Biden phrase that was It.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Was the Biden EPA political appointee.
- 14:46Speaker 6: I thought that was being clever. They called it that
- 14:50Speaker 6: you gotta be kidding that.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yes, and they were doing it with an eye towards
- 14:54Speaker 2: getting themselves jobs at the recipient NGO's. So this was
- 14:59Speaker 2: us fulfilling a commitment to figure out, we'll go find
- 15:03Speaker 2: the goal bars, a commitment to bring those goal bars
- 15:06Speaker 2: back into the treasury on behalf of the American taxpayer.
- 15:08Speaker 5: Not only is Zelden taking the steps to terminate the grants,
- 15:12Speaker 5: citing concerns over the program's integrity, potential fraud, and misalignment
- 15:16Speaker 5: with the EPA's priority, but he also emphasized that the
- 15:19Speaker 5: agency will not tolerate the wasteful spending of your tax dollars.
- 15:24Speaker 5: And now they're aiming to reallocate funds with enhance oversight.
- 15:28Speaker 5: He also said that the President has empowered him to
- 15:31Speaker 5: make sure the EPA is doing what its actual job
- 15:34Speaker 5: is instead of being a radical organization that's been hijacked
- 15:37Speaker 5: by the left.
