- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million things. And it's to me true good Steve together, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join me. You gotta use that turn you
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby. Uh huh, I shure, well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me down wanted only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Man o, man o, man, I just I have to
- 2:17Speaker 1: tell you this. How good is the God I served?
- 2:25Speaker 1: How amazing is he? That's that's all, you know. And
- 2:29Speaker 1: you know, really, man, when I try to explain um,
- 2:34Speaker 1: how I feel about what he does for me, really,
- 2:37Speaker 1: the words that I come up with that they just
- 2:39Speaker 1: they inadequate. Man, They don't they don't cut it. They
- 2:41Speaker 1: really don't. You know. I could say amazing. At one time.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I even just got there. I tried something real ignorant.
- 2:48Speaker 1: One time, I just said, you know, God is just
- 2:50Speaker 1: super casual, fragilistic as be all adocious. I just tried
- 2:54Speaker 1: that to see how that felt. That's that's all the
- 2:56Speaker 1: change he is with me. I just try to because
- 2:58Speaker 1: see how that felt. But then I feel right saying that,
- 3:01Speaker 1: the fact that he's amazing and awesome and he's an
- 3:04Speaker 1: awesome God. You hear people say that as It's bigger
- 3:07Speaker 1: than that too, man. So you know, as as hard
- 3:11Speaker 1: as I try, no matter what I do every day,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna come up short with trying to explain to
- 3:16Speaker 1: you exactly how he works and how he is for me.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So I just thank him every day every chance I
- 3:22Speaker 1: get here. It is it is your determination and your effort.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Listen to me carefully. It is your determination and your effort.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I think that the average person, and I'm not knocking you,
- 3:42Speaker 1: I just want you to hear me out. I think
- 3:45Speaker 1: what stops the average person from becoming successful is that
- 3:49Speaker 1: we don't realize the effort that it takes. That's just truth.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I found that to be so true in my life
- 3:58Speaker 1: and my talking to Peaceop and meeting people, and people
- 4:01Speaker 1: aren't asking me questions about it and me trying to
- 4:04Speaker 1: figure out the way myself. I don't think that you
- 4:08Speaker 1: really can comprehend the effort that it takes to become successful.
- 4:15Speaker 1: This is the thing that You have to wrap your
- 4:17Speaker 1: mind around very quickly if you want to be successful
- 4:20Speaker 1: on any level in any area. The dream is the beginning.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Good Lord, let me tell you something. The determination and
- 4:29Speaker 1: effort is massive. You cannot be overly concerned with sleep.
- 4:37Speaker 1: If you are a person who is always concerned about sleep,
- 4:42Speaker 1: get success out your mind. A fit to happen partner
- 4:45Speaker 1: is not fit to happen. You cannot be that concerned
- 4:49Speaker 1: about sleep. Now, listen to me. You have to get
- 4:52Speaker 1: your rest. But this was my philosophy. I'm just sharing
- 4:57Speaker 1: you with how I did it. My philosophy was I
- 5:02Speaker 1: stopped being concerned about sleep. I got my rest, but
- 5:07Speaker 1: I got just enough to get back to it, and
- 5:13Speaker 1: I got back on the grind to hop into hustle.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I got just enough rest so I could go and
- 5:19Speaker 1: put forth some more effort. But listen to me. You
- 5:24Speaker 1: cannot sleep a third of your life away and expect
- 5:28Speaker 1: to become successful. If you're not already successful. If you
- 5:31Speaker 1: are asleep for eight hours, that is a third of
- 5:34Speaker 1: your day. You cannot be asleep a third of your
- 5:37Speaker 1: life and expect to get successful. Now, after you get successful,
- 5:43Speaker 1: you know you learn as you go to work smarter,
- 5:46Speaker 1: not harder. So as you get successful, you may have
- 5:51Speaker 1: eight hours available to you. But on the way up there,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I don't see how you can do it, I promise you.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I don't now I don't. Maybe somebody can come forward.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I did it. I ain't probably lying, But okay, tell
- 6:02Speaker 1: your story, because everybody I know that's successful that I've
- 6:07Speaker 1: sat down a head real talks with, they wasn't concerned
- 6:11Speaker 1: with sleeping. You cannot be concerned with sleeping if you
- 6:16Speaker 1: want to be successful. How how can this happen for you?
- 6:20Speaker 1: It listened to me. The effort that it requires is massive.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It's an all out of salt on your dream. Now
- 6:27Speaker 1: you got to make an assault. It's requires and all
- 6:30Speaker 1: out of salt on it. And you can't be sleeping.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Fight at the same time. You can't fight when you sleep. Man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I wish I could get y'all understand this right. Ill
- 6:40Speaker 1: understand that the effort that is required to be successful
- 6:44Speaker 1: will take everything you have, and when you think you've
- 6:47Speaker 1: given your all, it's gonna require some more. The quality
- 6:53Speaker 1: of your chill is amazing. See that's said, okay listening?
- 6:57Speaker 1: What is sitting around having a bill every day? A fault.
- 7:01Speaker 1: What what what I'm sitting around smoking weed for every day? Fault?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Come on, man, for real, But if you took that beer,
- 7:10Speaker 1: drinking weed smoking chill time and apply it to progressing
- 7:14Speaker 1: yourself towards your dream. When you do carve out a vacation,
- 7:19Speaker 1: guess where you be able to go. Guess what part
- 7:22Speaker 1: of the world you can go see? Guess how you
- 7:24Speaker 1: can you Now now I'm instead of you just driving
- 7:27Speaker 1: every year your family to the family union, sit at
- 7:29Speaker 1: the same picnic table. Everybody pool their money in two
- 7:33Speaker 1: ten families don't never pull they money in. They down
- 7:36Speaker 1: there eating like y'all eating. You got the attitude because
- 7:40Speaker 1: they or they side don't ever chip in and no
- 7:42Speaker 1: they down they eating extra potatoes that making place. You're
- 7:45Speaker 1: not not arguing about this every year for real? Man,
- 7:48Speaker 1: they ain't got the T shirt money. You know they
- 7:51Speaker 1: got to say a T shirt, don't. They ain't put
- 7:53Speaker 1: in that really, man, so so so so so you
- 7:56Speaker 1: want that to be it every year? Or do you
- 7:59Speaker 1: want this year I'm taking my family to New Orleans,
- 8:03Speaker 1: or I'm taking my family see the Grand Canyon. I'm
- 8:06Speaker 1: taking my family down to the beach this year and
- 8:09Speaker 1: me and my family gonna go sight See, we're gonna
- 8:11Speaker 1: go ride couple the river on Chicago. Me and my
- 8:14Speaker 1: family gonna go skiing this year, and me and my
- 8:16Speaker 1: family going out to La Man, we're gonna we're gonna
- 8:19Speaker 1: go out there for a weekend. You know, you know
- 8:21Speaker 1: it can happen like that. But if you ain't working,
- 8:26Speaker 1: listen to me. Average effort gets average results. That's that's
- 8:34Speaker 1: all it is to it. See, ordinary effort gets ordinary results.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But if you put forth an extra effort. See, the
- 8:48Speaker 1: only difference between extraordinary and ordinary is one word, that's extra.
- 8:53Speaker 1: If you do extra, you can take ordinary right on
- 8:56Speaker 1: over to extraordinary. Do you understand you have to have
- 9:00Speaker 1: a massive assault on your dreams? Quit sitting up in here, man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: trying to chill all the time. I'm sorry, man, I
- 9:06Speaker 1: wish I could tell you another way, but it ain't one.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Here's what I did. I wasn't concerned about how much
- 9:13Speaker 1: sleep I got. I just had to get my rest.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And once I got enough rest to get up and
- 9:19Speaker 1: get the task done, I got up. Somebody sent me
- 9:24Speaker 1: a tweet the other day, a partner of mine. He's
- 9:29Speaker 1: someone to see if I can pull it up while
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. But he just sent me a
- 9:33Speaker 1: little sign. Just wasn't nothing, just a little something to say.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Hey man, I ran across this, I thought about you,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and I sent it to you. It said no alarm
- 9:42Speaker 1: clock needed, My passion wakes me. It's in block print.
- 9:49Speaker 1: He said, no alarm clock needed, My passion wakes me.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's what you got to be about. Good morning show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Let's go. It is upon us. It's fridy, y'all.

- 11:37Speaker 1: A mask story comes up. So we're in the golf
- 11:40Speaker 1: I go in the pro shop, big signs everywhere. I'm
- 11:44Speaker 1: in Florida, big signs everywhere. Wear your mask. Lady walks
- 11:48Speaker 1: in with no mask on. The guy behind the counter
- 11:52Speaker 1: want of the pros say, ma'am, excuse me, you have
- 11:54Speaker 1: to put your mask on. She said, I'm not wearing
- 11:57Speaker 1: a mask. He didn't say nothing else. He just reached
- 12:01Speaker 1: behind the counter that a huge sign was back there.
- 12:06Speaker 1: He puts a sign on top of the counter between
- 12:09Speaker 1: him and her. He wasn't even looking at her no more.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He did. Just put this big cardboy's sign behind it
- 12:15Speaker 1: that clearly has the mask ruse on it. She said,
- 12:18Speaker 1: take that down out of my face. I'm not wearing
- 12:21Speaker 1: a mask. He put it back behind him. He said, ma'am,
- 12:25Speaker 1: you don't have to wear the mask. But we're gonna
- 12:27Speaker 1: have to ask you to leave. I'm not leaving. My
- 12:31Speaker 1: husband's a member here. Now. Her husband was in the
- 12:36Speaker 1: men's locker room. He come out the locker room and
- 12:40Speaker 1: she goes, honey, he's trying to make me wear a mask.
- 12:44Speaker 1: He said, I told you when we came down here,
- 12:48Speaker 1: you had to wear your mask. She's us, hey, many
- 12:55Speaker 1: voice her person put on her mask. You know, I'm
- 13:00Speaker 1: about thirty feet away from him, looking at a shirt
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm hauling behind my man. He wasn't having that. I
- 13:06Speaker 1: don't mess up my membership. I told you when we
- 13:08Speaker 1: came down here, he got to wear your damn mask.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Every time you go somewhere, you get you've got some stories.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So the men, all the men and the man don't
- 13:20Speaker 1: say nothing because you know, it's just dude's wife. He
- 13:22Speaker 1: was a member that I guess they knew him, so
- 13:24Speaker 1: they ain't want to say nothing, like Jesus nothing. They
- 13:27Speaker 1: just said the boy. She she put that mask on
- 13:30Speaker 1: and walked back out to that place. She looked at guys,
- 13:32Speaker 1: hid sorry, sir, all right, thank you. Steve coming up
- 13:38Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the CLO
- 13:41Speaker 1: chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we go, time
- 13:49Speaker 1: now for asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Alexis and Raleigh, North Carolina says, my husband and I
- 13:57Speaker 1: have been together for six years, married four When we met,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I had a three year old and he adopted my
- 14:03Speaker 1: daughter and raised her as his own. Then he had
- 14:07Speaker 1: an affair a year ago, and now he has a
- 14:10Speaker 1: son by his side, Chick. The baby is innocent, but
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm not ready to welcome him into our family just yet.
- 14:19Speaker 1: My husband threw up in my face that he never
- 14:22Speaker 1: had any problems raising another man's child. This is totally
- 14:27Speaker 1: different and he doesn't see it that way. Am I
- 14:29Speaker 1: wrong for how I feel about this? Well, I mean
- 14:33Speaker 1: you're right about how you feel because he knew upfront
- 14:37Speaker 1: what he was getting into. This was thrust upon you
- 14:42Speaker 1: and through an affair, so I mean quite naturally, man,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I mean wow, I mean, come on, bro, it's not
- 14:51Speaker 1: the same thing at all. You know, no levels now,
- 14:56Speaker 1: you know you absolutely correct. The child has no no,
- 15:00Speaker 1: no skin in this game. He's totally innocent, But the
- 15:04Speaker 1: husband ain't innocent. Right, and so you know, I don't
- 15:08Speaker 1: know how he think you supposed to be all right
- 15:10Speaker 1: with this. This is a constant reminder of what he did.
- 15:13Speaker 1: You know, the violation of trust is represented in this child,
- 15:17Speaker 1: which is too bad. That's what it is. But that's
- 15:19Speaker 1: exactly what it is. He cannot even began to compare
- 15:22Speaker 1: the two. It's the same thing, though it's not even
- 15:25Speaker 1: the same thing. You knew going in. This woman had
- 15:29Speaker 1: a child you adapted and raising as y'all. Congratulations, that's
- 15:32Speaker 1: a heck of a dude that does that. I appreciate that.
- 15:35Speaker 1: You go get a side chick and have a baby.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Now you wanta bring the baby to the house like
- 15:39Speaker 1: it's all good, partner you actually? Yeah, and baby mama,
- 15:47Speaker 1: you know it's still in the picture. Well, I mean
- 15:51Speaker 1: this his side chick is. She's saying, this is still
- 15:55Speaker 1: his side chick. I mean he had a that's who
- 15:59Speaker 1: the son's mother is. So the mother is going to
- 16:03Speaker 1: still be around. She's not going You're asking this woman
- 16:06Speaker 1: to buy a whole lot of path. Yeah, that's too much. Yeah,
- 16:13Speaker 1: nowhere in America. Well that happened, Oh any other part
- 16:18Speaker 1: of any other world? All right, moving on, Jacob, who
- 16:24Speaker 1: listens on the iHeart app, says, I'm in my mid
- 16:26Speaker 1: twenties and I work for my mother at an advertising company.
- 16:30Speaker 1: She's been with the company for eleven years, and she
- 16:32Speaker 1: got me the job when I finished college. After a
- 16:35Speaker 1: year of working there, she became my area supervisor. It's
- 16:39Speaker 1: been sheer torture for me since then. She talks down
- 16:43Speaker 1: to me to prove she's not giving me preferential treatment
- 16:46Speaker 1: at work. And I do love my mother, but I
- 16:48Speaker 1: hate working for her. Should I start looking for a
- 16:51Speaker 1: new job? Absolutely, yes, because obviously you know she going
- 16:56Speaker 1: above and beyond the pood that she ain't gonna give
- 16:58Speaker 1: you no preferential treatment. And now you ain't here just suffering.
- 17:01Speaker 1: You ain't gotta work. It ain't your mama's company, is it. No? No, no,
- 17:06Speaker 1: she it's an advertising company in the Yeah, she just supervisor. Quick, Yes,
- 17:14Speaker 1: the job thought immediately before you mama mess up y'all's
- 17:19Speaker 1: relationship as mother, mother's son. Yeah, all right, So, jessin
- 17:26Speaker 1: Detroit says, and Jay, I know you have a question.
- 17:31Speaker 1: We'll get to yours right after. Jessin Detroit says, I'm
- 17:34Speaker 1: a thirty three year old single female and I'm dating
- 17:36Speaker 1: a man that is darned near perfect except for the
- 17:39Speaker 1: way he eats. He's a bodybuilder, and he obsesses over
- 17:43Speaker 1: what goes into his body. He's always making comments about
- 17:46Speaker 1: what I eat and suggests that it's all going to
- 17:49Speaker 1: kill me in some kind of way. Because of that,
- 17:51Speaker 1: we can't go out to eat because everything is prepared
- 17:54Speaker 1: with butter or salt, or with some ingredient that's not
- 17:58Speaker 1: on his eating plan. Should I stand up for myself
- 18:01Speaker 1: and my food or eat like him to keep the peace? Well,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, look, you you wanted him. He's
- 18:10Speaker 1: a bodybuilding that's how he eat. He wanted you. You
- 18:13Speaker 1: ain't a bodybuilding. This is how you eat. Now. Look, man,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I would just go, hey, look, if you're gonna keep
- 18:22Speaker 1: talking to me about what I'm eating, We're gonna here
- 18:24Speaker 1: to find something else to do. Now. He's a nice guy,
- 18:27Speaker 1: except they are a stream like that. Yeah, I know
- 18:31Speaker 1: a guy like that and him and this girl is struggling. Wow. Yeah,
- 18:35Speaker 1: everything you eat you gonna die, because I mean that's
- 18:39Speaker 1: all part of it. Going out for romantic dinners and stuff.
- 18:43Speaker 1: You know, they serving butter. I like butter, They got
- 18:49Speaker 1: salt on it. I'm not eating it without the salt.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Nobody won't tease green beans. They'd ran under the hot
- 18:56Speaker 1: water and then bought it out him flavor. Damn I
- 19:02Speaker 1: eat season all right, here we go. Uh Ja from
- 19:07Speaker 1: La has a question for the clock. Yes, I do.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You're black. You're black in black. Your whole family is
- 19:15Speaker 1: super black, black panther all the way. How do you
- 19:18Speaker 1: bring it to your family that you're dating a white girl?
- 19:21Speaker 1: What do you say? How do you know you're going there?
- 19:24Speaker 1: And sit everybody down? You sit the lieutenant down, sit
- 19:28Speaker 1: the sergeant at arms down. These are all positions in
- 19:33Speaker 1: the Black panther party. Send them all down and say
- 19:37Speaker 1: there's gonna be some changes in hire. U. You bringing
- 19:41Speaker 1: in a new member and she wants to keep the books.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Her name, her name is Becky. You know she's gonna
- 19:52Speaker 1: be all with us, and and she white. Just come
- 19:59Speaker 1: out with it. Yeah, you just throw that out there.
- 20:03Speaker 1: And so what is all y'all looking at me like that? Far?
- 20:10Speaker 1: Because we never had a white girl any hipping fun
- 20:12Speaker 1: and we want to know how to be caused. This
- 20:16Speaker 1: is why the party needs to expand. Oh man, you
- 20:22Speaker 1: know you obviously ain't listening to how things is going.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You obviously didn't hear the Frasier interview with Osborne the
- 20:31Speaker 1: other day. This is how we're doing it now. We're
- 20:35Speaker 1: letting them in and we're letting them in and off
- 20:38Speaker 1: the hook. Go ahead, sir. Is she white? But she's
- 20:42Speaker 1: white white, She's white, white, very white. We gotta go.

- 21:30Speaker 1: all right, thank you, bitter man. Right now, the nephew
- 21:34Speaker 1: isn't here, but Junior is would run that prank back?
- 21:37Speaker 1: What you got for its Junior, Yeah, he's not here,
- 21:40Speaker 1: but he left us with the prank. Jezebel Spirit, Jezebel Spirit. Okay,
- 21:46Speaker 1: run a cat. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a
- 21:51Speaker 1: sister Alicia. Alright, alright, alright, you may not know my boys,
- 21:57Speaker 1: but I'm sure you probably know if you saw me.

- 22:12Speaker 1: We we had a meeting. Uh a lot of the
- 22:16Speaker 1: brother deacons and the sisters at the church they have
- 22:22Speaker 1: come to at a meeting, and I wanted to give
- 22:25Speaker 1: you a call. Now, Melanie, Melanie, that's that's that's your sister, right, yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 1: that's my sister. Okay, all right, Well now we got
- 22:37Speaker 1: a bit of a problem, but uh uh uh. They
- 22:41Speaker 1: felt that it would be best for me to call
- 22:44Speaker 1: you and discuss it with you and and let you
- 22:47Speaker 1: know what the uh you know what they have agreed upon.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm just basically the messenger and I'm just calling you
- 22:54Speaker 1: to give you the word of what's going on. Okay,
- 22:58Speaker 1: um right, yeah, bro Greed, brig gre uhhh your wife
- 23:03Speaker 1: has been a choir, right uh yeah, yeah, like yaing, Okay, Okay,
- 23:09Speaker 1: I know I think I know. Yeah, okay, okay, all right, um, well,
- 23:15Speaker 1: like I said, Sister, Alicia, what the officials of the
- 23:18Speaker 1: church are saying is that they they're saying that they
- 23:23Speaker 1: have reason to believe that your sister has been having
- 23:27Speaker 1: an affair with with pastors and uh, my sister, your
- 23:34Speaker 1: sister Melanie. They saying she's having it and having a
- 23:38Speaker 1: fan with having an affair with pastor. At Now I'm,
- 23:43Speaker 1: like I said, I'm just the messenger. Okay, So why
- 23:46Speaker 1: are y'all calling me about something Melanie doing well with
- 23:51Speaker 1: the Like I say, the officials had a meeting, and
- 23:55Speaker 1: what they're saying is this is nothing but a jail
- 24:00Speaker 1: the Bell's spirit. And what they wait, wait, wait a
- 24:04Speaker 1: minute now, now you being rude. Now come on, sister.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Oh okay, I'm gonna hear you at now you just
- 24:11Speaker 1: hear me out now. They're saying that this is a
- 24:14Speaker 1: Jezebell spirit and they would rather all of the family
- 24:21Speaker 1: not be welcome at the church anymore. Okay, First of all,
- 24:26Speaker 1: why are you delivering a message to me about my sister.
- 24:29Speaker 1: If you have a problem with my sister, seems like
- 24:32Speaker 1: you would be calling my sister. Now we two steps
- 24:35Speaker 1: of people. So why are you calling me about my
- 24:38Speaker 1: sister about a rumor? And now you say y'all don't
- 24:42Speaker 1: want me in the church. Is that? Is that what
- 24:44Speaker 1: you're saying? Brother fully, entire and family. So if you
- 24:50Speaker 1: got some brothers, sisters, aunt teams, they won't because they
- 24:54Speaker 1: ever deadly. All of the ladies in the toms of
- 24:57Speaker 1: fact must have some type of Jezebell spirit. No, no, wait,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and they don't want no, wait, wait, wait, wait a minute.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Now you just just like I said, now, be be
- 25:06Speaker 1: mindful who you're speaking to, calling somebody or Jezebel. I
- 25:12Speaker 1: know you. What you can't do is called somebody and
- 25:15Speaker 1: accuse somebody and then call him a derogatory word. Come on,
- 25:18Speaker 1: somebody of Jezebel and a Jezebel. Now you being rude, sir.
- 25:24Speaker 1: It's a Jezebel's spirit, is what they were saying. Okay,
- 25:28Speaker 1: that's got to be the most asinine foolishness I have
- 25:31Speaker 1: ever heard in my life. Who done that? Who are
- 25:34Speaker 1: you to call me? Don't ask me no like that?
- 25:38Speaker 1: You call them you ll like some hood like whoo?
- 25:41Speaker 1: Who have castbody got a Jezebel spires? That's gonna called somebody. Kids,
- 25:44Speaker 1: come out. You got a bad ass kid? Does your
- 25:46Speaker 1: mama have a Jezebel spit? Don't wait wait a minute,
- 25:49Speaker 1: I did your mama? Does your red lip sit wear?
- 25:53Speaker 1: I'm wife's out of Jezebel's spirits? And who your ass?
- 25:58Speaker 1: That's what's gonna happen. You're gonna mess. I'm gonna get
- 26:00Speaker 1: your ass up and get drawn through the damn pool
- 26:02Speaker 1: pitch around with the top. Well, as of right now,
- 26:06Speaker 1: the family can't come to the church. You think we
- 26:09Speaker 1: want to be around a church that got people calls
- 26:12Speaker 1: asking me, I shall damn do I have a Jeza Bell?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Still you answered the question do you have one? I
- 26:21Speaker 1: might have a ray had spirit? Now you know she
- 26:24Speaker 1: was a good Bible. Now I've been it never this
- 26:27Speaker 1: damn church for the last eight year and I don't
- 26:28Speaker 1: pay plenty times to this damned church and its toa
- 26:32Speaker 1: the priblem with me? Do tell that have a problem
- 26:35Speaker 1: with me? Just Alicia? Yeah, let me say this. Then
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna be go ahead. First of all, before you
- 26:42Speaker 1: say another damn work me, you need to apologize and
- 26:46Speaker 1: think to look like you got something just wish Okay,
- 26:48Speaker 1: Can I say this. Go leave it, go ahead, but
- 26:51Speaker 1: first I apologize. Okay, I'll apologize because this is nephew
- 26:57Speaker 1: Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and you just
- 27:00Speaker 1: got franked by your sister, Melanie. I'm gonna kick hill.
- 27:12Speaker 1: That was right? If I was, I was, that was
- 27:14Speaker 1: a good yeah, got Melanie asked for that. I don't
- 27:20Speaker 1: know who the lady is in the choir with the
- 27:22Speaker 1: red sticker home one that I have no her the idea,
- 27:29Speaker 1: all right, No Jezebel Spirits, none of that. We all right.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Maybe maybe your ray haa like I said, maybe your
- 27:36Speaker 1: Rayham because you're gonna have more than one biblem she
- 27:39Speaker 1: did good work for the kingdom because you know I
- 27:41Speaker 1: was working for the kingdom. Now I I have been
- 27:45Speaker 1: right in a long time. Now, I wait, you don't
- 27:47Speaker 1: want to? Oh God, I love church people. I love
- 27:55Speaker 1: church people. Hey, let me ask you something. What is
- 27:57Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land? All right, dad?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Is Jezebel's Spirit. And the reason we're doing Tommy's prank
- 28:11Speaker 1: to day is because he's somewhere preparing for his new
- 28:15Speaker 1: hit show, Ready for Love. But they're doing it at
- 28:18Speaker 1: a fishing lodge. This week and the internet went out
- 28:23Speaker 1: and h so they gonna had the postpone shooting the
- 28:27Speaker 1: episode the day because the internet went off at five
- 28:31Speaker 1: thirty when Earl gone home and his little short ass
- 28:36Speaker 1: is somewhere stuck up under Yeah, Tommy's little short ass
- 28:40Speaker 1: is somewhere stuck at the fishing lodge and uh and
- 28:46Speaker 1: ready for Love. Make sure you watch every episode Ready
- 28:51Speaker 1: to Love? Well, well he ready to get out, but
- 28:54Speaker 1: he and didn't he tell you to say? The sexiest
- 28:58Speaker 1: man on TV is hosting it. His little Sean strange
- 29:01Speaker 1: little lass. He is hosting it. Look at him watching
- 29:05Speaker 1: when he turned sideway. He's on TV, and tell me
- 29:08Speaker 1: send me a texta what you think you look like?
- 29:10Speaker 1: All right? Steve coming up at the top of the
- 29:12Speaker 1: hour Entertainment and National News. Right after this, you're listening
- 29:17Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well, whatever Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez
- 29:24Speaker 1: fought over seems like she won. She got him back.
- 29:28Speaker 1: According to People Magazine, a source said that he's willing
- 29:31Speaker 1: to do whatever it takes to stay together now more
- 29:34Speaker 1: than ever before. Jlo wears a pants in that relationship.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Her friend revealed quote she's been contemplating breaking up with
- 29:41Speaker 1: Alex for six months, and that predates any rumors of
- 29:46Speaker 1: Alex running around with Southern Charm cast member Madison Lacroix.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Last weekend, after an all night fight abroad, jetted to
- 29:55Speaker 1: the Dominican Republic, where Jlo is making a movie. The
- 29:58Speaker 1: paparazzi work conveniently tipped to where the couple was so
- 30:02Speaker 1: they could find them and take pictures, and j Loo
- 30:05Speaker 1: gave them what they wanted. She cuddled and kissed a
- 30:07Speaker 1: rod when she knew the photographers were focused on them.
- 30:11Speaker 1: So that's how you do it. That's how you do
- 30:14Speaker 1: it well, rooting for them. I want to work it out. Yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 1: she'll need but two more rings to break Brady's record.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Two more rings, all right. And other couple entertainment news,
- 30:33Speaker 1: ray J and Prince's Love are at it again. They
- 30:36Speaker 1: called off their divorce again. So if you recall, RAYJ
- 30:41Speaker 1: filed back in September and then Princes filed back in
- 30:45Speaker 1: May of last year. While they have they've decided to
- 30:49Speaker 1: save their marriage and the couple have two children. Love
- 30:53Speaker 1: Love at the Kentucky Derby last time and got such
- 31:00Speaker 1: a beautiful little baby. Man. They look so good together, man,
- 31:03Speaker 1: I was really kind of pull it forward as a beautiful,
- 31:05Speaker 1: young looking couple. Man, we're trying to work it out. Yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 1: she wants more children, y'all stay together. She wants more really? Yeah?
- 31:16Speaker 1: What you say? I want to think about that one. Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: I don't happen to me, your old bidass. You ain't happen.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Why is he better? It's no surprise what I ain't.
- 31:29Speaker 1: You're not shocked he didn't get better. You got the
- 31:33Speaker 1: same number. We both have the same number, the same
- 31:38Speaker 1: damn number. You want to publicly say the same number?
- 31:44Speaker 1: What do you mean? The same number of marriage, divorcies
- 31:46Speaker 1: and marriages like that both? Is he telling the truth? Steve?
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm currently on my third one? H and so what
- 31:58Speaker 1: are you saying? I know at these fox? Man? Is
- 32:07Speaker 1: he lying? Jay? You say he's lying? Jay? Are you
- 32:13Speaker 1: married now? Jay? He said how you got four exes? Dog?
- 32:20Speaker 1: I can name the si only thing I have four
- 32:26Speaker 1: exes in drolls, Steve, that's the only thing are you
- 32:31Speaker 1: thinking about? Hell? No, No, what's wrong? We're married. I
- 32:40Speaker 1: mean let's move on. Not for you. You need somebody
- 32:45Speaker 1: to take care of your old lass. I was about
- 32:47Speaker 1: to tell them you gotta marry somebody in medical. Oh,
- 32:52Speaker 1: you're gonna marry your nerves. You gotta marry somebody in medical.
- 32:54Speaker 1: You just can't get nobody. You won't. You can't getting
- 32:56Speaker 1: no fitness trainer. You got somebody in the medical gets
- 32:59Speaker 1: abou who can handle medication. All these prescriptions you got.
- 33:02Speaker 1: You need somebody with the ability to write a prescription
- 33:09Speaker 1: and bring it home. You need somebody to know how
- 33:13Speaker 1: to read George all right time. Now we're gonna track
- 33:23Speaker 1: star some Let's get to those headline Steve, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:29Speaker 1: miss and shrill. Okay, thank you very much. Yes, it's
- 33:32Speaker 1: always good to get a woman who can read. President
- 33:34Speaker 1: Biden and Vice President Harris doing Atlanta today as already scheduled. However,
- 33:39Speaker 1: the plans have changed. Mister Biden and the VP were
- 33:42Speaker 1: making the trip anyway as part of their Help Is
- 33:44Speaker 1: Here tour that is to promote the trillion dollars COVID
- 33:48Speaker 1: stimulus package. However, in the way of this week's killings
- 33:51Speaker 1: by a white gunman of eight people, most of them Asian,
- 33:54Speaker 1: they're meeting with members of that community. As flags fly
- 33:57Speaker 1: at half staff at federal buildings across the country, Georgia
- 34:01Speaker 1: has five Asian American lawmakers, and they held a news
- 34:04Speaker 1: conference yesterday to urge authorities to acknowledge the rise in
- 34:07Speaker 1: anti Asian violence and to do something about it. And
- 34:10Speaker 1: Democrat Marvin Limb says there's a lot of angles to
- 34:13Speaker 1: this problem. Also urge our country, in the midst of
- 34:15Speaker 1: a year of racial reckoning, to ensure that the narratives
- 34:18Speaker 1: and needs of Asian Americans like ourselves continue to be
- 34:22Speaker 1: a part of the conversations we're having. And long after
- 34:25Speaker 1: this tragedy, Anti Asian violence has been rising sharply since
- 34:29Speaker 1: the COVID pandemic, and Donald Trump kept referring to the
- 34:32Speaker 1: deadly vice you may remember as the Chinese flu. Meanwhile,
- 34:35Speaker 1: in Washington yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing
- 34:38Speaker 1: on discrimination and violence against Asian Americans. Emergency responders in
- 34:43Speaker 1: Alabama and Mississippi are assessing the damage left by the
- 34:46Speaker 1: numerous tornadoes, some twenty of them at least, that touched
- 34:49Speaker 1: down there on Wednesday. As many as seventy thousand homes
- 34:53Speaker 1: in that area in that region are without power. Luckily,
- 34:56Speaker 1: though no deaths have been reported, didn't hit major cities,
- 34:59Speaker 1: A lot of suburban in rural areas, but nevertheless, there
- 35:02Speaker 1: was a lot of damage done. There are now twelve
- 35:05Speaker 1: jurors selected in the trial of Derek Chauvin, that's the
- 35:08Speaker 1: ex white cop accused of murdering mister George Floyd. Five men,
- 35:12Speaker 1: seven women have been selected thus far. They need two
- 35:15Speaker 1: more members of the panel to serve as alternates, and
- 35:18Speaker 1: then they've got twelve plus two and then they can
- 35:20Speaker 1: go on with the trial. The widow of Marvelous Marvin
- 35:23Speaker 1: Hagler says rumors that her husband died as a result
- 35:25Speaker 1: of taking the COVID vaccine are completely wrong. In fact,
- 35:28Speaker 1: Kahegelkles reports stupid, simpler anti vax vaccination rumors are rampant
- 35:34Speaker 1: in January when Hank Aaron died, but he died of
- 35:36Speaker 1: natural causes as well. So you know these things, you know,
- 35:39Speaker 1: stop all the stupid rumors for whatever reason you have
- 35:42Speaker 1: affairs that the Sentence for Disease Controls say they've identified
- 35:45Speaker 1: and gotten rid of guidance documents released by the Trump administration.
- 35:49Speaker 1: As scientists say, we're not based on science. And guess
- 35:51Speaker 1: what all you tax paying procrastinate is this is your
- 35:54Speaker 1: lucky year? Yeah, a tax man. Well, the government gave
- 35:59Speaker 1: us sold July fifteenth to file taxes last year because
- 36:02Speaker 1: of the pandemic. Today it's been pushed this year, rather
- 36:05Speaker 1: has been pushed back to May seventeenth. May seventeenth and
- 36:07Speaker 1: said of the fifteenth because the seventeenth, the fifteenth falls
- 36:10Speaker 1: on a Saturday. Okay, now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:12Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, introduce
- 36:18Speaker 1: your friend, ladies and gentlemen. That damn Jay Anthony Brown.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I think what we're about to do now will answer
- 36:26Speaker 1: a lot of questions that people have. They have questions.
- 36:30Speaker 1: This will answer those questions that people have from that
- 36:35Speaker 1: questions why hit it? David? The song is to answer
- 36:39Speaker 1: the question then everybody's been asking, and we will answer
- 36:45Speaker 1: the question that most people have been asking. He's the answer.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Thank you very much, Jay Anthony, Good morning everybody. Some
- 36:57Speaker 1: folks have asked the question, why do we id like
- 37:01Speaker 1: to know why you cut sweet? Because it cuts because
- 37:06Speaker 1: it's fed up? And we and they had enough, come
- 37:11Speaker 1: on down. We because when we will cuss at times
- 37:15Speaker 1: of happiness, because when we said we will cuss at
- 37:20Speaker 1: times of sadness. God, some people got it from the
- 37:24Speaker 1: mothers God and others got it from their dance. Come on,
- 37:31Speaker 1: so you can't use nice the words in sound, it'll
- 37:37Speaker 1: be real rough to get the words out and takes
- 37:41Speaker 1: the place lightly shut down? Could you please shut and
- 37:48Speaker 1: sometimes you want to tell church members? Could you just
- 37:51Speaker 1: please please shut down? Just shut the if up? And
- 37:57Speaker 1: now you have, oh, now you have the now you
- 38:01Speaker 1: had beason? Why that is the reason why we cuss.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Don't tell me how to run the church. I'm the
- 38:08Speaker 1: post up he always, but you just shut you. Don't
- 38:15Speaker 1: try to tell me what to do for you are
- 38:19Speaker 1: out of your mind, the worse, the worst higher you've
- 38:28Speaker 1: ever h It's great, it's great. You're so happy I'm here.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Don't even try works Jay, So you're gonna use that
- 38:40Speaker 1: song from that part? Is well? It answers the question,
- 38:44Speaker 1: the reason why we cuss is right there. I mean,
- 38:48Speaker 1: wonder what question you were talking about? One question? What
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm talking about the reason why we cuss? Yes, we do.
- 38:56Speaker 1: That's it answers. Yeah, that's gonna prob the end up
- 39:00Speaker 1: viral somewhere. Yeah, that's going to end up viral somewhere.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I don't Oh, yeah, you know what. The only thing
- 39:09Speaker 1: I war about did somebody else do it before me?
- 39:12Speaker 1: And I'm like, nobody touched that that song is right there.
- 39:15Speaker 1: I mean, damn, that's what you were worried about, exactly right,
- 39:20Speaker 1: somebody doing it before me? Right? All right, thank you,
- 39:23Speaker 1: thank you Jay. Thanks The ignorance continues. Coming up in
- 39:29Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, We're gonna talk stimmy
- 39:32Speaker 1: check shopping. Okay, you don't want to miss it. It's
- 39:36Speaker 1: coming up right after you're listening to show. Well, as
- 39:42Speaker 1: we all know, it's been all over the news. Many
- 39:44Speaker 1: people have already gotten their stimulus checks, and more stimmy
- 39:48Speaker 1: checks are on the way. And fortunately we were able
- 39:51Speaker 1: to catch up with some of those stimulus check shoppers
- 39:54Speaker 1: with their stimmy checks. Yeah, here we go, yeah yeah, yeah,
- 39:59Speaker 1: yeah yeah. You know, I got'm ana checking everything. I'm
- 40:02Speaker 1: about about do a little shot. You know, I want
- 40:04Speaker 1: a hotel this weekend. You know what I'm saying that
- 40:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. I'm gonna take part of my check.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna get the presidential suite at the Red Roof.
- 40:11Speaker 1: And you think I'm playing because I can't stay in
- 40:13Speaker 1: the regular rule when I got all this money with me,
- 40:16Speaker 1: I'm getting the presidential. Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I
- 40:21Speaker 1: got I got my money, but I'm telling all my
- 40:24Speaker 1: family members only got three hundred dollars and I'm not
- 40:28Speaker 1: letting them know that I got the rest of the money.
- 40:30Speaker 1: But I'm telling everybody only got three hundred. And what
- 40:32Speaker 1: I'm telling them when they called me that I got
- 40:35Speaker 1: an eye on lay away, I laid away eye. Everybody
- 40:38Speaker 1: know I got one eye. So take that money and
- 40:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna, I hate to say this, I'm gonna see
- 40:44Speaker 1: how my money could go. I can see how you
- 40:47Speaker 1: can get that out. That what I'm trying to deal
- 40:50Speaker 1: with that out Yeah, I'll tell you right now. You know,
- 40:55Speaker 1: I've been trying to think of what I'm gonna do
- 40:56Speaker 1: with all this money. Man, it fot hundred burning boy.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna do something from a girl, you know,

- 41:19Speaker 1: you know, since I got all this money and the
- 41:21Speaker 1: fourteen hunt, you know, I'm saying I could do different stuff.
- 41:23Speaker 1: You know, you know, we get some good seal in
- 41:25Speaker 1: the house this week. You know what I'm saying, because
- 41:27Speaker 1: you know this week I'm going to get three boxes
- 41:29Speaker 1: sugar Smacks because I ain't adding ship this week. It's
- 41:31Speaker 1: gonna be already. Only you got plans. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 41:37Speaker 1: we got shill. Here's what I had plan to do
- 41:41Speaker 1: with the money. My aunt keeping bugging men. You know,
- 41:43Speaker 1: she don't have no eyebrows, so she gonna get an
- 41:45Speaker 1: eyebrows implant and that that's gonna talk him by a
- 41:48Speaker 1: seventh fitting. But you know, because when she looked at you,
- 41:51Speaker 1: looked like she's amazed all the day. I'm a boy

- 42:39Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I'm gonna buy bus
- 42:41Speaker 1: passes for two twenty one, two twenty two, two twenty three,
- 42:46Speaker 1: two twenty four, So I have five years of bus
- 42:49Speaker 1: passes already paid up. So I hunt the wood about
- 42:52Speaker 1: getting a round in this city. I'm gonna buy me
- 42:55Speaker 1: five years of bus passes. I'm gonna do that, women,
- 42:58Speaker 1: and then I had that set aside, so I'm good
- 43:00Speaker 1: on bus passes. I can't go wherever I want to
- 43:02Speaker 1: go with it. Ever. Think I'm playing that one girl. Girl,
- 43:10Speaker 1: you've been my barber for twelve years now. Yeah, I've
- 43:14Speaker 1: been thinking about it. I want that cut with the
- 43:17Speaker 1: full parts in it. Give me that number nine. Yeah,
- 43:26Speaker 1: you know I'm saying, my baby girl looking kind of off,
- 43:28Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Every time we look at
- 43:29Speaker 1: you know, her edges is kind of in the back
- 43:31Speaker 1: of everything. You know, I got to get them hooked up,
- 43:33Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So I'm gonna get hood
- 43:34Speaker 1: this shower lying monk front lace that they got going
- 43:37Speaker 1: down here at the flea market. I put that on them.
- 43:40Speaker 1: She get on ponytail already built in. You know what
- 43:42Speaker 1: I'm saying. She ain't got worried about that. Yeah, yeah,
- 43:45Speaker 1: I like that. Yeah, I like that. Now everybody know
- 43:49Speaker 1: when they see me that my hair just grow around
- 43:51Speaker 1: the edges. It don't. I don't have none on the top.
- 43:54Speaker 1: So what I plan to do is curl that up.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Get me a jag, curl all the way around the edges.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Hat o, well hat Nobody know that I'm ball on top,

- 44:31Speaker 1: Junior in for the nephew with the prank phone call
- 44:33Speaker 1: for today. Right after this you're listening morning show coming
- 44:39Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour right about four
- 44:41Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 44:44Speaker 1: my sugar Daddy set me up. But right now the
- 44:48Speaker 1: nephew is out and Junior is here with today's prank
- 44:52Speaker 1: phone call. Don't worry. We'll get to the strawberry letter
- 44:54Speaker 1: in just a bit, but right now it's a prank
- 44:56Speaker 1: phone call, alright, j today, shir do we got pecuntry?
- 45:01Speaker 1: That's it? Oh Pecan. I don't know what this is,
- 45:05Speaker 1: but this is what Tommy left us country. Come on,
- 45:07Speaker 1: can't hello Hello, I'm trying to reach uh LC hey,
- 45:15Speaker 1: let me let me Hey. My name is Marcus. Uh
- 45:18Speaker 1: My mama and them little next dough to you, mister
- 45:21Speaker 1: and missus my mom and daddy little next dough to you.
- 45:24Speaker 1: And I was calling because y'all got a pecuntry in
- 45:28Speaker 1: y'all backyard, I mean right on the fence line and
- 45:32Speaker 1: to keep you know, pecan and stuff keep falling over
- 45:34Speaker 1: into my mom and them yard. So I'm talling to
- 45:36Speaker 1: see if y'all can do something man where y'all can
- 45:41Speaker 1: pick up. I mean, my mom and them got a
- 45:43Speaker 1: little older, you know, We've been picking them up for
- 45:45Speaker 1: a long time, but I need somebody to, like, maybe
- 45:48Speaker 1: you can cut the lions back that's hanging over so
- 45:51Speaker 1: that they won't you know, the pecans won't be falling
- 45:53Speaker 1: over into my mam and them yard because you know,
- 45:56Speaker 1: for them to be bending over like they're picking up
- 45:58Speaker 1: them pacan and it's a lot of them. So, you know, mister,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I just wanted to hould at you and see if
- 46:03Speaker 1: you don't mind maybe cutting the limbs back, because even
- 46:06Speaker 1: when we turned the lamo on and stuff, man, it
- 46:08Speaker 1: just you know, the pacaons and stuff be coming out
- 46:10Speaker 1: of the lamo just shooting all over the place. Well,
- 46:14Speaker 1: first of all, marvacn trills the old com tree and
- 46:18Speaker 1: all it's about well, and I can't see me cutting it. Well.
- 46:25Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying you can't have no body
- 46:28Speaker 1: to maintain your yard, but I mean you it's your mother.
- 46:33Speaker 1: You can maintain your mother's yard. So I go by
- 46:36Speaker 1: my mother's house, you know, every other day and check
- 46:39Speaker 1: on them. But I don't have time to go on
- 46:40Speaker 1: the back and pick up pecans and stuff. You know
- 46:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I mean, if you just it don't
- 46:45Speaker 1: seem no more than like maybe four or five limbs
- 46:47Speaker 1: that's hanging over there. But then four or five limbs,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I mean they they there's a lot of pecans falling
- 46:52Speaker 1: off of that. So if malvacorn tree to shady, I
- 46:57Speaker 1: goes back there, there's no kind of nothing. Okay whatever, sir,
- 47:04Speaker 1: I'm not cutting my tree for a little like that. Sir. Listen,
- 47:08Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm trying to get you to do
- 47:09Speaker 1: is I'm not I want you cutting your entire tree down.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 47:14Speaker 1: so you know those that way that those are the
- 47:17Speaker 1: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 47:19Speaker 1: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's and
- 47:21Speaker 1: them yard and and and you know, like I say,
- 47:23Speaker 1: they're older now, man, they can't be bending over like that.
- 47:26Speaker 1: So you know, I'm I'm just coming to you as
- 47:28Speaker 1: a man right now and asking you when you please
- 47:31Speaker 1: cut this down to these pecans can quit falling over
- 47:33Speaker 1: my mom and them yard. Well, I'm asking you. All
- 47:36Speaker 1: you can do is hire someone, Okay, someone I know
- 47:40Speaker 1: your mother. Don't cut your yard. No, it's it's a
- 47:42Speaker 1: guy that it's a guy that cuts the yard. But
- 47:45Speaker 1: even when he cutting the yard, these pecans is flying
- 47:48Speaker 1: out from underneath the yard. The law more they soon
- 47:51Speaker 1: a lady, we're gonna be breaking windows over that. What
- 47:53Speaker 1: kind of lord person you have? But don't pick up
- 47:56Speaker 1: before they cut? That's food? Why am I arguing with
- 47:59Speaker 1: you about picking up stuff and all of this? I'm
- 48:01Speaker 1: asking you to cut a funky little five limbs so
- 48:04Speaker 1: these dog gonna pecans ain't are falling on my mama yard.
- 48:07Speaker 1: You you want to cut, you you're gonna make me
- 48:10Speaker 1: come over here and cut the whole. I would come
- 48:12Speaker 1: cut the whole damn tree down. You ain't gonna put

- 48:18Speaker 1: a kids, and that tree gonna stay in now York
- 48:21Speaker 1: long as I stay though. Sir, look, I didn't ask
- 48:24Speaker 1: you like a man to cut your little funking pecan
- 48:26Speaker 1: tree down. Now. I ain't in the hat, no what
- 48:29Speaker 1: know what? Guess what? You you? You you bad enough?
- 48:33Speaker 1: You can't cut it. I've been look sir, tonight today,
- 48:38Speaker 1: ruther this evening. It's either gonna be two things happening.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Either you're gonna cut the five limbs that I won't

- 48:47Speaker 1: That's my tree in any game. Nobody gonna with my tree.

- 52:39Speaker 1: short of this season. Well, you know they took the
- 52:45Speaker 1: little extensions out of their shoes. Oh those lifts, Yeah,
- 52:51Speaker 1: but he took them out because they were they was
- 52:54Speaker 1: it was making his was making his shoes too tight,
- 52:57Speaker 1: and so he had to take them off, taking up
- 53:00Speaker 1: just too much space in his shoes. And he was
- 53:03Speaker 1: starting to starting to walk like he had up he
- 53:07Speaker 1: just had we was walking different. So we've taken him
- 53:10Speaker 1: out this year. So he's gonna be a little bit shorter,
- 53:13Speaker 1: so he won't be standing next to none of the
- 53:15Speaker 1: girls this season. He says that hearst host ever, that's
- 53:21Speaker 1: what he told and then and they got a new
- 53:24Speaker 1: casting call out too, because they're looking for shorter men
- 53:27Speaker 1: to come on the show because Tommy didn't decide that
- 53:31Speaker 1: he didn't want to be the shortest person on TV noball.
- 53:35Speaker 1: So we're looking for some little people that want to date,
- 53:39Speaker 1: all right, looking for love. It's ready to love, all right?

- 54:13Speaker 1: right here, right now. That's for you Jack. All right, ladies,
- 54:17Speaker 1: Jimmy's time for the Strawberry Letter. Well, my good friend,
- 54:19Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberiod, thank you my good friend. Junior subject my
- 54:24Speaker 1: sugar daddy set me up. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm a
- 54:28Speaker 1: thirty four year old woman grieving for the loss of
- 54:31Speaker 1: my seventy seven year old best friend and sugar daddy
- 54:35Speaker 1: that had been in my life since I was nineteen.
- 54:38Speaker 1: He was also my father's closest friend, so we kept
- 54:41Speaker 1: our relationship a secret for obvious reasons. When it all started,
- 54:45Speaker 1: he was married to a woman that I looked up to.
- 54:48Speaker 1: She was beautiful and classy, and he turned me into
- 54:52Speaker 1: her with all of the nice gifts and trips he
- 54:54Speaker 1: sponsored for me. We didn't have sex until I was
- 54:57Speaker 1: twenty three years old, and he never pressured for sex.
- 55:01Speaker 1: He rented me an apartment and he'd come stay with
- 55:03Speaker 1: me for hours just to avoid the arguments. With his wife.
- 55:07Speaker 1: We were happy for about seven years until he got
- 55:10Speaker 1: a divorce and he wanted to see me more because
- 55:14Speaker 1: he was bored and lonely. If I was busy and
- 55:17Speaker 1: couldn't make time for him, he would get an attitude
- 55:19Speaker 1: and threatened to cut me off. Instead of letting me go,
- 55:23Speaker 1: he bought me a three bedroom house and he helped
- 55:26Speaker 1: me get a luxury vehicle. By then, he didn't care
- 55:29Speaker 1: as much about us getting caught because he was divorced
- 55:33Speaker 1: and lived alone. I was still afraid of my father
- 55:36Speaker 1: finding out, so I was still living a stressful double life. Well,
- 55:41Speaker 1: my sugar daddy died two months ago, and that's when
- 55:45Speaker 1: all of our secrets were revealed. I got a call
- 55:48Speaker 1: from his ex wife and she said that my sugar
- 55:51Speaker 1: daddy left me a large sum of money, the deed
- 55:54Speaker 1: to my house and his two cars. His ex wife
- 55:58Speaker 1: called me a whore and said she would be calling
- 56:01Speaker 1: my father next. Before I could take all of this in,
- 56:05Speaker 1: my father called and said he heard the news. He
- 56:08Speaker 1: told me to have a nice life with the money
- 56:10Speaker 1: and gifts that I prostituted for. I was crushed. I've
- 56:15Speaker 1: also been a daddy's girl, and he won't speak always.
- 56:20Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I've always been a daddy's girl and he
- 56:22Speaker 1: won't speak to me. Well, my father ever loved me again?
- 56:26Speaker 1: What should I do? Well, there's not really much you
- 56:30Speaker 1: can do now it's been done and your sugar daddy
- 56:34Speaker 1: is dead. So you know, to the question will your
- 56:38Speaker 1: father ever love you again? I mean, he's not going
- 56:41Speaker 1: to stop loving you. He's mad right now. He's disappointed
- 56:44Speaker 1: in you terribly right now. So trying to talk to
- 56:48Speaker 1: him and all that is just going to have to
- 56:49Speaker 1: wait until later. Some time needs to pass and he
- 56:52Speaker 1: needs time, your father does. I mean, this was his
- 56:57Speaker 1: closest friend and he found out in a crazy way
- 57:00Speaker 1: from his friend's ex wife, and I'm sure he was
- 57:03Speaker 1: shocked he found out that his friend was sleeping with
- 57:07Speaker 1: his young daughter. He doesn't know that, you know, you
- 57:09Speaker 1: guys didn't sleep together until you were twenty three or whatever.
- 57:13Speaker 1: He knows that you've known him since nineteen. And your
- 57:16Speaker 1: father's not gonna be good with this. He's just not
- 57:19Speaker 1: you know, I'm sure it was embarrassing to hear it
- 57:22Speaker 1: from his from his best friend's ex wife. Sure, all
- 57:25Speaker 1: that was embarrassing for your dad. And of course we
- 57:28Speaker 1: know why his ex wife is upset. I mean, she's
- 57:31Speaker 1: hating on you because, ay, you were seeing him while
- 57:35Speaker 1: they were married, and the biggest one of all the
- 57:39Speaker 1: sugar Daddy really did set you up. He set you
- 57:42Speaker 1: up in a good way. I mean, you know, he
- 57:45Speaker 1: probably left you way more than he left his ex wife,
- 57:48Speaker 1: even though they're exes, and she's mad about that. He
- 57:52Speaker 1: left you some very generous parting gifts, so you know,
- 57:55Speaker 1: please be smart, don't lose it all because you feel
- 57:57Speaker 1: guilty for being with him and all of that, but
- 58:01Speaker 1: you know it is what it is now and you
- 58:03Speaker 1: can't take that back. You need to concentrate on maybe
- 58:07Speaker 1: trying to fix this with your father. I say again,
- 58:10Speaker 1: give it time, stay out of his way until you
- 58:12Speaker 1: can ask for his forgiveness and you can talk to
- 58:15Speaker 1: your dad. That's all I got for your Steve. I
- 58:21Speaker 1: don't know. I don't really know what to say. It's
- 58:24Speaker 1: kind of crazy dealing with a man forty three year
- 58:28Speaker 1: old age difference, your daddy's best friend. He was married,
- 58:34Speaker 1: You started seeing him, been in your life since she
- 58:37Speaker 1: was nineteen, started sleeping with him when you was twenty three.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I mean, I don't really know what to tell you.
- 58:42Speaker 1: You know, it's really nothing, you know, I mean, yeah,
- 58:50Speaker 1: it's it's over, It's water over the damn Now, I
- 58:52Speaker 1: really don't know what to tell you, little little girl.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I mean, in hell, so what you did it? You
- 59:00Speaker 1: knew it was wrong when you was doing it, even
- 59:02Speaker 1: when he was married. Then when he got a divorce,
- 59:05Speaker 1: he wanted more. You didn't want to give him more.
- 59:08Speaker 1: He wanted more time and everything. He and care about
- 59:10Speaker 1: hiding it no more. You know, he told you he
- 59:12Speaker 1: was gonna cut y'all off and all of you know,
- 59:16Speaker 1: I just is it enough money? Is it enough money
- 59:22Speaker 1: to get a daddy something? I mean, I mean, we
- 59:26Speaker 1: got a way to fix this, you know, come here,
- 59:29Speaker 1: you know, get your daddy in a new truck out
- 59:31Speaker 1: over to something. You know, you know, you know you
- 59:34Speaker 1: canna heal people if they find the way. You know,
- 59:36Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what to tell you know?
- 59:38Speaker 1: Is it? You know? Now? The whole thing is the
- 59:41Speaker 1: reason your daddy's so upset. It's caused the call he
- 59:44Speaker 1: got from the X White. Guess what, your damn daughter
- 59:49Speaker 1: dead sleeping with h Clefland's while he was living in it.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Then got Clefance's car. Clefand's got Clepance's car, got got
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: got the deed to Clepan's house that left him half
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: of the money. You know, it's a it's a wonder
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: why me and Cleveand's didn't make it. Yeah, serious, All
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: this cause a keyshaw, That's what happens. So that's good. Yeah,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I really don't know. I don't know how I'm gonna
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: help you. I'm gonna come back and we'll see, But
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I'm really kind of stuck. Maybe I should come back
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: with a list of things you could do to try
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: to like buy his affection back off. All right, hang on, Steve, Well,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. My Sugar Daddy set
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Me Up is the subject. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's let's get
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: back into the Strawberry Letter. We gotta recap it. My
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: sugar Daddy set Me Up is the subject. Yeah, this
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: girl was sleeping with her father's best friend, been in
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: his life since she was nineteen. He recently died. He
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: seventy seven years old. She'd been in this man's life
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: he's forty three years older than her. And she started
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: sleeping with the man when she was twenty three. And
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: she had a beautiful wife that she looked up to,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: class and everything, sending on trips and everything. And then
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: his wife and him got divorced and he turned this
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: young girl into his wife, set up send on trips,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: sponsored everything, got apartment that didn't work, luxury vehicle, then
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: bought up the house. All this hit well, he died.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I killed over all this extra sex just wore him,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: took him out, just took a toll on him. You know,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: the wife, the little girl, the wife, the little girl,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: little girl probably killed him though, you know that's the
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: one that probably kill him. So you need to be
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: grieving for a couple of reason because he probably killed
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: his old ass. And then you know, and so now
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you know, you just get you dealing with the fact
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: that he left. And when the wheel got rid, the
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: ex wife was there and found out that he'd have
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: left you the house to call some of the money
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and set you up for real good. Oh now she
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: made so she go tell your daddy, I would have
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: gotten mold. But Joe love prostitute and asked daughter that
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: set up here and prostituted herself to my ex husband
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Cleifland's who was your Fred? And I bet all y'all
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: knew it all along and he didn't. So now you're
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: daddy mad at you and you want your daddy back
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: because you've been a daddy's girl. So what I've come
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: up with is, Dad, maybe you're gonna have to by
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: by your way out this situation. My question was simply
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: before we left, is there enough money to give your daddy?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: So so let's try to think of stuff that old
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: men need. Do he need some teeth? Could that be it?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: You know sometimes old people be holding off on teeth.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: You know how your daddy is gumline looking at everything
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: all right, you know, the look like he needs some
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: ever clear or anything, or placement or some dnches. You know, hey,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: all old men need a new transmission. Let's look into that.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: You know, can you can't get his transmission down that amico?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: You know, get it down there and see what kind
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: of deals they got fix is transmitting? Yeah, you know, yeah,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: it's Here's here's a big one for old men. Is
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that some part of the body that he needs removed?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: They always, you know, they put that off, you know,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: kind of get your gall bladder took out. Old people
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: put that off, you know, find out is that a
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: body part that he might need to move, you know,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: to see if you can you can get through to
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: it that way. You got to do something to get
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: your daddy back in your good graces. You know, do
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he need a flat screen? You know? Yeah, here's another thing.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Maybe he got different ties on he called. Do he
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: wont all new ties that match? Because a lot of
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: old people don't have ties. That's a complete set. You
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: got radios on the front, you got tread on the back.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: You got a chain link on one of them. You
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: gotta left. Hey, you know, maybe he needs maybe he
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: needs something. Maybe he needs a body part. Do he
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: need a foot removing it? Just? Do he need one?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Do your daddy need a refrigerator in his room? You
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: got to find sucking people? Yeah, do he need a
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: nurse's aid? You need somebody to come on and push him,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: push him down to the stove. You know. You know me,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: all men like to get pushed down to the liquor
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: stove because they get to see the liquor from their chairs.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: So you get because most of you know, a lot
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: of that good stuff is our level and Hennessy and
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: all that I and Jay is down. You know, Canadian
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: wins all that stuff down on the bottom row. You know,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you know you really thought about this. Sweaters. You know,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: maybe you can't have enough sweaters. You know, your daddy
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: probably always wanted one of them coogies. Yeah, he probably
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: always wanted them. You can find one of them and
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: hook him up with the coogie. You know, it's just
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: some stuff you know y'all always wanted. You know, you
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: gotta think about that, you know, do hey, do he
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: needed new Hey hey, get him an Ivory checkerboard. Now
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: there ain't nobody got that down there at the gas station.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: He showed up with Ivory and jade. You know, check
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: the boy, hey, check the freezer. Fill it up with meat.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You know, man like that stuff, old man like, old
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: man like that's a girl and good by, buddy, gonna
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: can't feeling their feet all kind of meat just like that,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you know. So get him a new window air conditioner
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: soler from a really girl. If you can put Central
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Land there, whoop, you're winning. You can get your daddy
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: back Central at Central Air. This this window, get them
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: window seal just take care of her. Daddy. Lord, don't
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: go in there and come up with a new water
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: heathough because you know, after two people take a bath,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: that's it. Thank you. Steve comments on Today's Strawberry Letter

- 1:09:20Speaker 1: this is so you know, Michigan is a team to watch. Uh.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Georgia Tech is in the tournament for the first time
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: in a very long time, about seven years since they've
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: been in. So that's another team to watch. Uh. I

- 1:09:53Speaker 1: this season, so Juan Howard and I'm gonna root for
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Patrick Union, you know Patrick, you and Georgetown Dann and
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I'm just gonna root for them too, man, I'm rooting

- 1:10:15Speaker 1: of us COVID though. So all right, Junior, thank you
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: so much. Coming up, we'll do some comedy roulette right
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show. All right, guys, it is
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: time now for comedy roulette. Jay, please quickly explain. It's
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: um putting three subjects on a wheel, spinning the wheel,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: where the wheel stops. We can make it funny because
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: we're comedians. Okay, this is true, all right. Today's categories
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: are lies. People. You know, people are gonna be telling
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: lies and lies. People tell about why they can't pay
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: you back your money, but they got their stimulus. Let's check. Okay.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Lies you tell about something you know you saw and
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: then oh this is interesting. A nice way to tell
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: a Christian off. A nice way to tell Christian off.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: All right, all right, A nice way to tell a
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Christian off. Let's go, fellas, all right, here we go.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I always found that I always found that when in
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: an argument with a Christian, go biblical on the behind,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: straight biblical and hit them with this judge not let
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: she be judge, and then just walk away and then
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: you I like it. Yeah, I'm kind of in that
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: same vein, but I like to apply the stories that
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: directly to them when I'm arguing with Christians, Like, I
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: know he died for your sins, but you're about to
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: go tell him thank you? What I know he died
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: for your sins, but you're about to go tell him
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: thank you. You know, I don't believe Jesus would have
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: did that. A nice way to tell a Christian off. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: there we go, comedy roulette. Nice way to tell a
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Christian off. You know, I don't think Jesus ever had
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: a fight, but I have. Okay, Jesus never had a fight,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: but I have. Okay. H yeah, um this is what
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I do. You know, the ones that think they better
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: than everybody else. It's like, um, I never saw you
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: walk on water that I didn't see it. Way to
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: tell a Christian off, Come on, Steve. You know, I
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: know Daniel got out the lines then, but this is
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: my house, Like that just went there. A nice way
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: to jay A nice way to tell a Christian of
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: you know, Easter is coming up. I hope you get
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: the way that suit you got on live way, Okay,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: keep on, keep on the green one. Yes, you can
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: always apply stories in the Bible to Christians. I always
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: like the ones that hurt, like you know, they'd be
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: talking mess you say, uh, you know, have you ever
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: heard the story of stoning a Stephen? Because I thought
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I'm about to do going there ain't any junior off
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: into the deep form of Christian. Yeah, you know that.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: You know that, you know that. It's a nice way
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: to tell him. Now you know you ain't just supposed
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: to read the scriptures. It's a lot of judgment going on.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: M A nice way to tell a Christian. You know,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: hell is in the Bible, won't you go there. I'm
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: not saying your daughters from I'm not saying that, but um,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: she got a Jezebel spirit about that earlier. Yeah, well,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I mean a custom okay, Christian. A nice way to
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: tell a Christian off. Well, you know, Kirk Franklin said
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: it best. Hey, that's a good one. Hey, And that
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Ladies and Gentleman is comedy roulette. We'll have more of
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Today's trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show twenty

- 1:15:37Speaker 1: plays the Queen of soul and sings her classics. You
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: know she can sing, and she's clearly in awe. Cynthia
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: says that to be able to step into that body
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: and understand it, that meant a great deal because I
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: got to know her a bit more, which makes me
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: even more of a fan because I understand her more.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Rivo also make inspiration yeah from her co star Courtney b. Vance.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: He's playing Aretha Franklin's dad, Reverend C. L. Franklin, and
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: she said she listens to she listened to Reverend franklin
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: sermons over and over and over again because she wanted
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: to know work for her. One hunt Well, I didn't
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: open for her, perform for her, and I don't know
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: if you ever worked for her. Steve, Aretha Franklin, you
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: don't get paid to the end of the show, and
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: everybody got a stand in line and wait and get
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: their money. That's how she pay you. That's how you
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: get paid, and you get paid in cash to the
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: show is over. That's old school way. That's the old
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: school The Queen, Queen, the Queen. Yes, yeah, all right,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I mean laugh. Oh all right. Um, We'll be back
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: three minutes after. Right after this, you're here, we go
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: time now for as the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Alexis in Raleigh, North Carolina, says, my husband and I
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: have been together for six years, married for four. When
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: we met, I had a three year old and he
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: adopted my daughter and raised her as his own. Then
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: he had an affair a year ago, and now he
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: has a son by his side, Chick. The baby is innocent,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: but I'm not ready to welcome him into our family
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: just yet. My husband threw up in my face that
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: he never had any problems raising another man's child. This
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: is totally different, and he doesn't see it that way.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Am I wrong for how I feel about this? Well,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I mean, you're right about how you feel, because he
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: knew up front what he was getting into. This was
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: thrust upon you and an affair. I mean quite naturally, man,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, come on, bro, it's not the
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: same thing at all, you know now, you know, you
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: absolutely correct. The child has no no, no skin in
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: this game. He's totally innocent. But the husband ain't innocent, right,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: and so you know, I don't know how he think
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: you supposed to be all right with this. This is
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: a constant reminder of what he didn't. You know. The
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: violation of trust is represented in this child, which is
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: too bad. That's what it is. But that's exactly what
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: it is. He cannot even began to compare the two.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It's the same thing, though, it's not even the same
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: thing you knew going in. This woman had a child
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: you adapted and raising as y'all. Congratulations. That's a heck
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: of a dude that does that. I appreciate that you
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: go get a side chick and have a baby. Now
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: you wanta bring the baby to the house like it's
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: all good, partner and you're actually lucky. She's still yeah,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: and baby mama, you know it's still in the picture. Well,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I mean this his side, chick is She's saying, this
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: is still his side, chick. I mean he had an
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: that's who the son's mother is. So the mother is
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: going to still be around. She's not going You're asking
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: this woman to buy a whole lot of paths. Yeah,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: that's too much. Yeah nowhere in America, Well that happened,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: or any other part of any other world. All right,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Moving on. Jacob, who listens on the iHeart app says,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I'm in my mid twenties and I work for my
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: mother at an advertising company. She's been with the company
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: for eleven years, and she got me the job when
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I finished college. After a year of working there, she
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: became my area supervisor. It's been sheer torture for me
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: since then. She talks down to me to prove she's
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: not giving me preferential treatment at work. And I do
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: love my mother, but I hate working for her. Should
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: I start looking for a new job, Absolutely yes, because
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: obviously you know, she going above and beyond the proved
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: that she ain't gonna give you no preferential treatment. And
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: now you ain't here just suffering, you ain't got to
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: work coming up. It is our last break of the
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: day and of the week, and of course we'll have
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: some closing remarks from one and only Steve Harvey at
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after right after this. You're listening, all right, guys.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day and of
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: the week. It's been an interesting week. Um, yeah, a
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: lot of things. Yeah, we just have to pray, Like
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: one of my friends says, we just have to pray,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: you know, you know, as a Christian, you know, I
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: guess I kindo. I don't know, man, I gotta work
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: on that part of it, because I don't know, man,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I just it's just some people. Man, I ain't got
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: no prayers for I just you know, man, you know,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I gotta get better at that, I guess because as
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: a person, I just need to get better at it.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: I ain't praying with you. I'm not with that yet.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: I'm not there yet. You're my enemy, man, deal with
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: whatever happened to you, hand it, you know. Yeah, like
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: if I see something crazy happening to one of my enemies. No,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know how to do that yet.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I'm just being honest. I just really don't you know how, Yeah, man,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I've even dog hating you, right, Yeah, you know you've
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: been dogging me, hating me and then something bad having
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: you and I'm what what you want me? Do? You know?
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I like that some of my family members. Man, I
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: can't keep praying for you. You keep going to jail,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: stay out of jail. I'm putting off stuff I want.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: That's the line. That's it. Yeah, you staying in there.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I'm not keep praying for that. You know you had
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: two times. I get your ass out of jail too.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I'm not getting you out on We're not praying for
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: him not go back, that's what we say. I'm not
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: even praying that you don't go back. I'm with you
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: on that too, Man, Man, I'm praying on something else.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: It's it's hard. It's hard if I know a person
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: ain't trying to do better. You know. Now, I pray
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: for my kids, you know, when they make mistakes. You know,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I pray for friends when they make mistakes. I pray
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: for me when I make a mistake. Yeah. You know. Well,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: there's a group of people that's trying to stop another
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: group of people from living the same type of life
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: they live. They just want to stop it and it's
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: hard to rod rod and cheer for that person when
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: something bad happened to the ass that's it. Yes, you
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: know something, man, and you're exactly right, because what's happened
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: in this country and it's Donald Trump. His presidency pulled
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: the curtain back on the scab that's been on top
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: of America for a long time. You know, I knew
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: when his slogan was make America Great Again. As soon
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: as I heard that, what time period do we have
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to go back to for you all to feel better
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: about the condition in America's in Because we as black people,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: we most certainly can't think of any error in the
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: past where it was better for us. So when you
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: say make America great again, you know, if you're saying
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: make America great, okay, but make America great again, what
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: time period you're trying to go back to? Because I
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: don't get it, man. And he pulled back the scab
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: and showed all the blood and puss that's up under him,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: and it really, it really showed and allowed the supremist
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: groups to come out, all these different hate groups, these malicious,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: these organizations, these senators man, who are just who hide
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: behind this guy like he's God Almighty. That's the thing
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: that I can't stand about these spineless senators, man who
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: who who claimed to be Christians and God fearing people,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: and they got this man in front of everything that's godly.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: And I'm sick of this southern Southern Baptist organization that
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: backs Trump with all his racist rhetoric, be simply because
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: they're trying to say he's doing a Christian thing by
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: pro life. Are y'all kidding me? Are y'all kidding me?
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: What about the lives of people who already exist? I
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: got that, you don't like abortion. I think people are that.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I don't think people who who who want to have
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: abortion should have them. I got that. I'm all for that.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: It's fine, but it's somebody's choice. But I'm gonna tell
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: you one thing, though, This got to stop. And you know,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: it's just a it's a sad state that we're in
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: now as a country because we've allowed one man to
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: exist and cause an entire party to change their morality,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: or did it merely allow the party to be who
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: they really are? Bring it out? Either way we got either.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Either way, we got problems. And it's more and more
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: and more and now this Asian hate that's coming out
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: if you look back at everything he said, and now
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: if you listen to what some of these senators as
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: a saying to make it okay that that's this is ridiculous. Man,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Black people, we've been catching it. We know what this is. Man.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: We're not surprised by none of this. We are constantly,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: constantly trying to get treated equal, not better, just the same,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: just the same. Can we live like you can, we
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: walk like you can, we go places like you can,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: We not get killed like you just that? But oh man,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: there's so much pushback on that. You to vote a
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: suppression and all this here to try to stop black
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: people from doing everything. Man, we can't even vote now
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: without you trying to come up with ways and make
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: it harder. And it's so obvious in the areas that
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: they do it in the get up mailboxes in our neighborhood.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: They're doing stuff in hair is counted down in Texas.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: We know who this is. Man. Oh y'all sickening. Man,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: this is sick. What this country is doing is stop
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: stop claiming to be the greatest country on nerve. Then
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: when somebody gets some pushback, he's not patriotic. No, we're
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: just trying to get you to make this country be
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: what you say it is. Yeah, we're good y'all. Listen, y'all,
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: have a great weekend. Don't wear about it. Keep talking
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: to God. He loved here from me for all. Steve
