- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn you haven't got to turn them out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water go. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your tha uh huh. I shall will a good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now point it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Um.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Five things that I know successful people have to do
- 2:16Speaker 1: to be successful. The principles are the same. You can
- 2:19Speaker 1: apply it to anything, you know, if you want to
- 2:22Speaker 1: be happily married, you know, whatever it is. The principles
- 2:26Speaker 1: of success are the same. There are a series of
- 2:29Speaker 1: things that you have to do. You cannot skip the
- 2:31Speaker 1: steps of success. If you do, you're going to have
- 2:34Speaker 1: to go back and step on them anyway. So here's
- 2:38Speaker 1: here's here's here's a part man that I want you
- 2:41Speaker 1: all to understand about me and and and about how
- 2:45Speaker 1: to look at it. You know, you cannot underestimate faith
- 2:55Speaker 1: and prayer. You just can't. You cannot underestimate the power
- 3:03Speaker 1: of faith and the power of prayer. See for me,
- 3:09Speaker 1: this is just for me. Now, this ain't in the
- 3:11Speaker 1: scripture nowhere. This is just something I discovered. What prayer
- 3:15Speaker 1: did for me was was it tied me to my creator.
- 3:21Speaker 1: It gave me a sense and I'm describing it this way,
- 3:26Speaker 1: but I'm telling you it's deeper than this. But it
- 3:29Speaker 1: gave me a sense that I wasn't alone and an actuality.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I wasn't. But prayer helped connect me to the power
- 3:40Speaker 1: source that was available to me to get through, get around,
- 3:48Speaker 1: or get over whatever it was that was in a way,
- 3:52Speaker 1: whether it was just a period I stretched, I had
- 3:54Speaker 1: to go through hard work. It had a period I
- 3:58Speaker 1: had to go through to learn some lessons, some periods
- 4:01Speaker 1: I had to go through from having to pay for
- 4:03Speaker 1: some of the mistakes I've made. Whatever the case may be,
- 4:07Speaker 1: prayer gave me a decided advantage, especially oh here we go,
- 4:17Speaker 1: Especially over my enemies. Now, the majority of people in
- 4:23Speaker 1: my life that were my enemies, I didn't want them
- 4:25Speaker 1: to be my enemies, Make no mistake about this. But
- 4:30Speaker 1: through the thing called life, some things went down, Some
- 4:33Speaker 1: things happened from here and then went over here or
- 4:35Speaker 1: that way, and a person became my enemy. The majority
- 4:40Speaker 1: of enemies I had came out of nowhere. I have
- 4:44Speaker 1: no reason to even see why they are my enemies.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But you know, life goes on, man. It happens from
- 4:51Speaker 1: time to time. Some people just won't let it go.
- 4:54Speaker 1: See some people, in their quest to do something to
- 4:59Speaker 1: you or to make you pay, they just won't let
- 5:02Speaker 1: it go. What it may cause you some discomfort, and
- 5:05Speaker 1: some of them may be lies about you, and all
- 5:08Speaker 1: of this and all of that, but you that that
- 5:11Speaker 1: that can't prohibit you from going forward. So what I'm
- 5:14Speaker 1: saying is prayer gave me the strength, wisdom, understanding the
- 5:19Speaker 1: carriage to either go through it, go around it, or
- 5:24Speaker 1: go over it. But it happened. I do not know
- 5:30Speaker 1: how I could have made it. Without faith and without prayer,
- 5:35Speaker 1: it would have something would have got me. You two
- 5:40Speaker 1: would have got me. The bloggers would have got me.
- 5:47Speaker 1: My partners that I grew up with, that used to
- 5:49Speaker 1: laugh behind my back. They would have got me. My
- 5:54Speaker 1: friend that would over my mother's house one time and
- 5:56Speaker 1: told her. You know what Steve's problem is he telling
- 6:00Speaker 1: them jokes he just lazy, he don't want to work.
- 6:03Speaker 1: That would have got me. They didn't know. I ain't
- 6:08Speaker 1: really mad at him, because they were just All they
- 6:11Speaker 1: was doing was basing their conversations and passing judgment based
- 6:15Speaker 1: on what they knew, based on what they believed. They
- 6:19Speaker 1: didn't believe I was gonna make it. But that's them though.
- 6:25Speaker 1: If it was not for the faith, which is the
- 6:27Speaker 1: belief in things that you cannot see, I wouldn't have
- 6:30Speaker 1: made it because I would have listened to everybody else
- 6:34Speaker 1: who didn't see me getting here and went along with it.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And then prayer. Oh my goodness, man, how many times
- 6:43Speaker 1: has prayer bailed me out? Prayer has bailed me out?
- 6:48Speaker 1: Press steel, belling me out. Tell you the truth, man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: quiet as its kelp. Prayer, That connection to your heavenly Father,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that connection to your creator, that connection to that source
- 7:04Speaker 1: of power and inspiration, that connection of never feeling that
- 7:08Speaker 1: you were alone. You know. I was watching a Bishop
- 7:10Speaker 1: Jakes on the TV yesterday and it was a repeat
- 7:15Speaker 1: and one of the things he was talking about, well,
- 7:19Speaker 1: let me just get to the gist of it. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: was going through a portion of my life and I
- 7:27Speaker 1: and I went through it for some years, y'all. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: had gotten myself into a jam that lasted for years,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you, for years, with some serious consequences to follow.
- 7:40Speaker 1: For years. And I was so busy looking at who
- 7:48Speaker 1: I was at. I was sulking sometimes, Man, I'd get
- 7:53Speaker 1: on the radio, Man, I'd be just done. I was sulking.
- 7:58Speaker 1: My my spirit had gotten low. I had gotten tired
- 8:03Speaker 1: of the fight, and I would I would come on
- 8:07Speaker 1: some mornings, man, and I will try try not to
- 8:10Speaker 1: let on, but I was hurting. I was because I'd
- 8:12Speaker 1: been in it for years. Man, I had been in
- 8:14Speaker 1: this thing for years. And one thing I was doing.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I was so busy looking at where I was at.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And when I was watching Bishop Jake's he preached this sermon.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He was talking about so busy looking at where you
- 8:34Speaker 1: at that you don't even realize that God has been
- 8:42Speaker 1: with you the entire time. And you know what, man,
- 8:48Speaker 1: just yesterday, just yesterday, I heard this and I text him.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I text Bishop Jakes, and I thanked him because it
- 8:56Speaker 1: was an old message I could tell. And I called.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I text him up and I said, Man, thank you
- 9:01Speaker 1: so much. I was just watching you on TV, and
- 9:04Speaker 1: you told me, Man, something that I that I'll always
- 9:07Speaker 1: remember that whatever you're going through, that he's there with
- 9:11Speaker 1: you the whole time. But see when sometimes when you're
- 9:15Speaker 1: so busy looking at where you at, you don't even
- 9:17Speaker 1: notice where he is. And see sometimes, man, that that
- 9:21Speaker 1: helped me, and that's going to help me in the
- 9:23Speaker 1: future to realize that what I'm going through, that he's there.
- 9:27Speaker 1: He's there with me, and he gonna protect me, and
- 9:29Speaker 1: he's gonna let my enemies overcome me, and he ain't
- 9:32Speaker 1: gonna let nobody overtake me, and he ain't gonna let
- 9:35Speaker 1: me go under because he's there. It's just you can't
- 9:38Speaker 1: be so busy looking at where you at that you
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't take notice or where he at. God is always there,
- 9:43Speaker 1: He's always available, and the best way to tap into
- 9:46Speaker 1: that and know it is you got to pray. Prayer
- 9:49Speaker 1: has changed my life. Prayer can change your life. You
- 9:53Speaker 1: can become something if you just pray. You're listening to show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, this is the beginning of the Steve
- 10:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. The show is beginning a little bit
- 10:08Speaker 1: different today because I am starting at the tone that
- 10:10Speaker 1: I don't normally tone in. Tony is important, Tony. Well
- 10:17Speaker 1: enough for that. What y'all doing today show is good
- 10:22Speaker 1: to be here, mighty grace fulfill with gratitude. Woke me up.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I ain't at my best right now today, but I'm
- 10:30Speaker 1: but I'm here. He got you, and I'll take it.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I will take it, Ladies and gentleman Shirley Strawberry Calin
- 10:38Speaker 1: for real, Mississippi Monica Junior kiss Bates the legend of
- 10:45Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy Junior. What could possibly be on your mind today? Gifts?
- 10:52Speaker 1: You don't really have people to get you really good gifts.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Do you know how to give them back? You just
- 10:57Speaker 1: take them and walk off Like that's why. I just hey, come,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm not really you know. You give me a gift
- 11:01Speaker 1: to suck? I don't please don't be in my face
- 11:04Speaker 1: because it will register. Yeah, yeah, I like people. If
- 11:10Speaker 1: you're gonna give me a suck gift, drop it off.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah don't, don't. Don't hand it to me in this
- 11:16Speaker 1: that open it? Understand that open it? And then they
- 11:21Speaker 1: sit there with that little primp look on their face
- 11:24Speaker 1: like they're ready for the explosion. You like it, Come
- 11:27Speaker 1: on it, you know, and if it ain't there, you know,
- 11:30Speaker 1: it's just it's hard sometimes because you want you want
- 11:33Speaker 1: to appear grateful, you know that you know that somebody
- 11:36Speaker 1: even thought of you, and then you want to remember
- 11:39Speaker 1: you know, it's a thought that counts. You want to
- 11:41Speaker 1: think about that. But then you know, all that don't
- 11:44Speaker 1: matter when you get a ragged ass guilt. Yeah, Tommy, okay,
- 11:48Speaker 1: but what about when somebody then brought us some food
- 11:53Speaker 1: or cake or pie and now they want us to
- 11:56Speaker 1: sit there and cut it and eat it? Right? Then? Yeah? First,
- 12:00Speaker 1: let me tell y'all, people who can cook, I appreciate
- 12:03Speaker 1: you cooking. I bet you can cook, but we're not
- 12:05Speaker 1: fit to eat it. We just want to let you

- 12:10Speaker 1: podcake cookies come from, they did. I made these for y'all,
- 12:15Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Set it down. You know how
- 12:17Speaker 1: much food out and left at radio shows? We used
- 12:20Speaker 1: to go out much food out of left? How many
- 12:23Speaker 1: cakes is in that drivers? I gave it to the driver.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Oh man, oh oh, I had one driver told me,
- 12:29Speaker 1: oh man, I heard it this lady, good, good good?
- 12:34Speaker 1: Because I ain't they found out you like red velvet.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Everywhere we went, somebody was bringing a red velvet cake.
- 12:40Speaker 1: The only lady we would eat from is in Detroit,
- 12:43Speaker 1: the Cookie Lady in Detroit. That was the only person
- 12:47Speaker 1: I ate food from. Cookie Lady in Detroit, because don't
- 12:50Speaker 1: you remember that post. It was it was a couple
- 12:53Speaker 1: of years or so ago where these where these people
- 12:56Speaker 1: were washing these greens or chicklands or something in the
- 13:00Speaker 1: app tub and they posted that picture. You can't eat everybody,
- 13:05Speaker 1: you can't not you cannot. They had them in their
- 13:08Speaker 1: bathtub cleaning the well, you know, cleaning chi lives in
- 13:12Speaker 1: the bath tub ain't a bad deal. Shouting. I've seen
- 13:15Speaker 1: that many times, you have, I've never never seen for
- 13:20Speaker 1: that one time. Yeah, I've seen that before, especially if
- 13:23Speaker 1: you got it. If you got to do like molding
- 13:25Speaker 1: two twenty pound tubs, you know you can't put that
- 13:29Speaker 1: but in the tub. Let you take a bathtub. Okay, uh,

- 17:35Speaker 1: ain't going into that. Man. I'm rescheduling man, you're rechl
- 17:38Speaker 1: What do you mean you're rescheduling? Sir? What we get?
- 17:41Speaker 1: I'm getting another opinion. I ain't going in for that, okay,

- 17:50Speaker 1: Ain't you're doing a little play on words. Man, It
- 17:52Speaker 1: ain't even funny. Man, I'm calling insurance funny telling they

- 17:57Speaker 1: ain't funny man. You know you're making a little chick.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It ain't funny man, thinking a thin man, I'm forgetting
- 18:02Speaker 1: all of the work that we got, the blood work,
- 18:05Speaker 1: the year and word they're complete physical. That's when we
- 18:08Speaker 1: didn't realize that you had parasites in a particular area.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So what we're trying, I'm not. I don't mean I
- 18:13Speaker 1: turned to make the light of make humor in it,
- 18:15Speaker 1: just to make you feel a little bit more comfortable.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I apologize, all right. That ain't funny, man. You are
- 18:20Speaker 1: one losing. No, man, ain't funny man. If I had
- 18:23Speaker 1: a situation, the nursing would have told me. Then he
- 18:24Speaker 1: ain't tell me nothing. Man had me thinking I'm a
- 18:26Speaker 1: going Now you're telling me I gotta come in to
- 18:28Speaker 1: remove a test man. We have to run tests on you, sir.
- 18:32Speaker 1: We got test back when you do have the parasites,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and what we want to do is make sure we
- 18:36Speaker 1: get them completely cleared out. The only way I can
- 18:39Speaker 1: clear that out is to remove that testicle. He's man,
- 18:42Speaker 1: it's the man, I gotta hairsites. Man may out here
- 18:46Speaker 1: running out his chests on me. Man, I'm going to

- 19:03Speaker 1: Thank you. Man. I ain't got no parasites. Man, Brian.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Let me make your understand something clearly here. It's my
- 19:09Speaker 1: job as a physician that if the patient doesn't come
- 19:11Speaker 1: to me, it's my job to come to you and
- 19:14Speaker 1: extract the problem. You're leaning towards me having to come
- 19:17Speaker 1: to your home and extract the problem. Man, When you
- 19:21Speaker 1: want to come them home how may you I what
- 19:24Speaker 1: you want to step with? The how match out of tests?
- 19:27Speaker 1: May you you talking? I'm going from another doctor. I'm
- 19:30Speaker 1: getting another chance. I ain't got a chest. I let it, sir.

- 19:52Speaker 1: not something that's transmitted. It doesn't come from another another
- 19:56Speaker 1: human being. It just develops in one out of every
- 19:59Speaker 1: three or four million and people. You actually have it, Brian,
- 20:02Speaker 1: I got it extracted from you. You try to tell
- 20:05Speaker 1: me I'm the whine. There's something else that you have
- 20:12Speaker 1: that I haven't told you about. There's something else I
- 20:15Speaker 1: need to tell you. I got them. I got passed.

- 20:35Speaker 1: know what I just did. You ain't got to say
- 20:36Speaker 1: go ahead, go to the next break. You ain't got
- 20:38Speaker 1: saying nothing but what I know what, I appreciate it all. Right,
- 20:44Speaker 1: up next, it is asked the cello with our Chief
- 20:49Speaker 1: Love Officers, Steve Harvey in the building ready for your
- 20:52Speaker 1: love questions. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 20:56Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour

- 21:13Speaker 1: on Hulu. That's right. Also in trending entertainment news, we'll
- 21:18Speaker 1: talk about last night's met Gala, the red carpet, the celebrities,
- 21:22Speaker 1: their costumes, all of that. It happens every year around
- 21:26Speaker 1: this time. Plus Carla and I will tell you about
- 21:29Speaker 1: our Seagram's Escapes Mother's Day Happy Hour. It will be
- 21:33Speaker 1: hosted by us on Facebook Live. Talk about all of
- 21:37Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour. But right now,
- 21:39Speaker 1: what time is it? It is time to ask the clo,
- 21:43Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. Nell and Syracuse says, my
- 21:48Speaker 1: husband and I are renovating our bathroom and he refuses
- 21:52Speaker 1: to get us a hotel room. He goes to the
- 21:54Speaker 1: bathroom in the backyard. But I can't do that, especially
- 21:58Speaker 1: at night. I want a nice shower and a toilet,
- 22:01Speaker 1: and I don't want to stay with his mother in
- 22:03Speaker 1: her tiny, little dirty house. Uh. Should I use my
- 22:07Speaker 1: credit card and get a room? Yes? Yes, yes, yes,
- 22:13Speaker 1: yes you should, man, Yes you should, and he will
- 22:16Speaker 1: deal with it. Marjorie has taught me a very, very
- 22:20Speaker 1: valuable lesson that I never knew. Her philosophy is I
- 22:26Speaker 1: would rather ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Permission.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I've had to live with that, and it's actually a
- 22:38Speaker 1: better way to live, because after she do it, I
- 22:40Speaker 1: just don't even it's done. It's right. What can you do, honey?
- 22:45Speaker 1: Forgive me? I'm sorry? Okay, because let me ask you
- 22:51Speaker 1: what what what does it sound like when they say
- 22:53Speaker 1: forgive me? Honey? You go, I ain't boy, boy. If
- 22:57Speaker 1: you want give us, our trust passes as we forgive
- 23:03Speaker 1: those who trustpasses against us. That's the Lard's prayer. It
- 23:06Speaker 1: was in steel for moments just like that, because you
- 23:11Speaker 1: know you're gonna do something that you need forgiveness for.
- 23:16Speaker 1: All right, Moving on, to Karen in Saint Louis. Karen says,
- 23:20Speaker 1: I'm a thirty three year old single woman and I
- 23:22Speaker 1: met a man that lives with his ex wife. He's
- 23:24Speaker 1: thirty six, no children, and he has been divorced one year.
- 23:28Speaker 1: He said it's his house and he's letting her stay temporarily.
- 23:32Speaker 1: When I went to visit him, it appeared to be
- 23:34Speaker 1: the other way around. Why is he still living with
- 23:38Speaker 1: his ex? Is this weird because he ain't got no money?
- 23:41Speaker 1: He lying because he ain't got no money. Now, if
- 23:46Speaker 1: you went went to the house and it appears the
- 23:49Speaker 1: other way around, it's because he ain't got no money.
- 23:52Speaker 1: M he don't have money. I'm just turning flat out.
- 23:59Speaker 1: He ain't got no money. My defenders stayed with the ex.
- 24:02Speaker 1: No damn, yeah, man, please, I'll live in my car.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Stay down and get home before I do that, really,
- 24:12Speaker 1: I promise you. I'll be sitting up in a shelter. Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And he ain't got no money. And then when you
- 24:24Speaker 1: went over that, it appeared like he was living in
- 24:26Speaker 1: her house. That's because when they was married, it was
- 24:29Speaker 1: her house, just like in most marriages. So what it
- 24:33Speaker 1: is supposed to look like. She decorated the house. She
- 24:36Speaker 1: ain't going nowhere. He ain't got no money. Yeah, he
- 24:39Speaker 1: just lied to Karen so he could get he didn't
- 24:41Speaker 1: lie to him. Well, what was it, lie, sarly? Well,
- 24:48Speaker 1: the line was it's his house and he's letting her
- 24:50Speaker 1: stay temporarily. Yeah, it was his house at one point.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Fix it, fix it. So no, he's not lying. And
- 25:04Speaker 1: y'all stop trying to make me and lie all the time.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you, I tell I'll tell you. We'll be lying.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I think you've done a pretty good job about yourself, sir.
- 25:15Speaker 1: All right, Corey and Newark says, I'm a twenty eight
- 25:20Speaker 1: year old single woman and I've had a few good
- 25:23Speaker 1: dates with a new guy. I went to his house
- 25:25Speaker 1: for dinner and he turned on porn. He said he
- 25:29Speaker 1: was joking and then switched it to Netflix. Was he
- 25:32Speaker 1: testing me to see what kind of woman I am?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Of course, of course there was a test. If you
- 25:40Speaker 1: sat there and liked it, it's Jack Pott. Yeah, if
- 25:45Speaker 1: you protest, I'm joking. I don't go girl avern to
- 25:50Speaker 1: watch that. But he showed head and cut it up though,
- 25:53Speaker 1: didn't he? Yeah? Oh, and he's done this before. That's
- 26:00Speaker 1: a move of his. Yeah, because some dude. Man, what
- 26:05Speaker 1: you do is when they come over, he had that
- 26:08Speaker 1: porn on and hit press plate and if they get
- 26:12Speaker 1: into it. Sometimes, man, if they'd be right there, they'd
- 26:14Speaker 1: be game for it. You know. Oh man, I'm gonna
- 26:16Speaker 1: try that. Yeah, somebody tried and told it to him,
- 26:19Speaker 1: or that he's done it before in his work, one
- 26:21Speaker 1: of the two. But yeah, it was a tossing dinner
- 26:24Speaker 1: and porn. Okay, yeah, all right in a movie. Yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 1: dinner in a movie. All right, Moving on, this is
- 26:33Speaker 1: our last one. Steve Patty in the Bay Area says,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I'm fifty two years old, I'm single. I wanted me
- 26:42Speaker 1: to handsome, financially stable man with a nice sized package.
- 26:47Speaker 1: But I don't think those men exist anymore because I
- 26:51Speaker 1: run into some runts in the bedroom. Is it criss
- 26:55Speaker 1: to ask a man if he's packing what? Yeah? That
- 26:59Speaker 1: is because now, and I'm telling you right now, it
- 27:02Speaker 1: just seems like that's so hot on your list of things.
- 27:06Speaker 1: And so now once you ask a man is he packing,
- 27:09Speaker 1: what you wanted to say, No, I'm not. He could not.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Now let me, I promise you that's gonna be a lie. Well,
- 27:16Speaker 1: because he ain't who who you know? Excuse me? Are
- 27:23Speaker 1: you packing a little bit? Sometimes? You know that's my favorite?
- 27:34Speaker 1: You know? You know you know, let me ask you something.
- 27:38Speaker 1: What did you used to? Yeah? I'm trying to figure
- 27:43Speaker 1: out how do you open that conversation up? What you know?
- 27:47Speaker 1: I'm you know? You know? Go ahead? Sure to ask
- 27:49Speaker 1: me a couple of times. I'm gonna show you different
- 27:51Speaker 1: some different responses. Oh hi, how are you nice to
- 27:55Speaker 1: meet you? I'm a quick question for you. Okay, um?
- 27:59Speaker 1: Are you? Are you packing now? I ain't going away?
- 28:01Speaker 1: I want No. I don't mean for a trip. I
- 28:06Speaker 1: don't mean for a trip. No? What what? Oh am?
- 28:14Speaker 1: I am I packing? Yes, as far as your size go. No,
- 28:18Speaker 1: I've been waiting. I've been I've been waiting on my
- 28:20Speaker 1: gun license. I don't carry until I get that gun. No.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I think you're misunderstanding me. But go ahead. What did
- 28:29Speaker 1: you say here? You know I'm a very like sexual person,
- 28:33Speaker 1: so I want to know you know what's happening down there?
- 28:38Speaker 1: You know what's going on? Oh Am? I packing? Yeah?
- 28:41Speaker 1: Are you packing? Well? That ain't the job. I'm a
- 28:44Speaker 1: driver at the meet or packing plan. I don't want
- 28:46Speaker 1: to do packing I drive, No drive, baby, I don't
- 28:51Speaker 1: think you understand what I'm trying to ask you. Well,
- 28:54Speaker 1: you want to go out of what what's what's my sign? No,
- 28:58Speaker 1: not what's your sign? What your size? Are you? Oh?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Look at the time, we gotta go. Maybe next time
- 29:08Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:10Speaker 1: some entertainment news. Bye, you're listening to show. Well. The
- 29:17Speaker 1: met gala was last night, and the theme was gilded
- 29:21Speaker 1: glamor and white tie, referencing the lavish era of American
- 29:26Speaker 1: fashion in the last decade of the nineteenth century, when
- 29:29Speaker 1: industrialization rapidly amplified the country's wealth gap. Well, let's talk

- 36:02Speaker 1: listen to this guy. So this is a letter from
- 36:04Speaker 1: Gwen on Facebook. Gwinn says Mother's Day is Sunday. I've
- 36:09Speaker 1: already gotten a gift for my mom, and as usual,
- 36:11Speaker 1: my brother has done nothing. He always waits until the
- 36:15Speaker 1: last minute and then winds up just adding his name
- 36:18Speaker 1: to my gift, and I'm sick of it. Yesterday he
- 36:21Speaker 1: called me and asked what we were getting her, and
- 36:23Speaker 1: I told him he was on his own and that
- 36:26Speaker 1: he needs to get Mom his own gift. He says,
- 36:29Speaker 1: I'm being ridiculous, and since we are both Mom's kids,
- 36:32Speaker 1: we should be doing this together. I told him together
- 36:35Speaker 1: doesn't mean me doing all the work and you getting
- 36:38Speaker 1: credit for it, and he got mad at me. So
- 36:40Speaker 1: here's a question. Am I wrong to expect him to
- 36:44Speaker 1: put some effort into Mother's Day? Well, I'm from a
- 36:47Speaker 1: multiple family, you know, two brothers and two sisters. Everybody
- 36:51Speaker 1: got to get Unless we get together and say this
- 36:53Speaker 1: is what we're gonna get mama. Everybody responsibul for that.
- 36:56Speaker 1: You gotta show him and get MoMA something. You gotta
- 36:58Speaker 1: hero up. Yeah, man, you got to grow up. Come on, man,
- 37:02Speaker 1: you got one mother. You can't do nothing for her
- 37:04Speaker 1: Mother's Day. Tried your whack ass, Yeah exactly. But he
- 37:10Speaker 1: gets mad at his sister for telling him that no,
- 37:13Speaker 1: and and and she should put the name on her box.
- 37:16Speaker 1: And man, you should step out and do something for
- 37:18Speaker 1: your mother. Once a year. This is once a year.
- 37:21Speaker 1: This ain't once a week. This is once a year.
- 37:25Speaker 1: We know he ain't doing nothing the rest of the
- 37:27Speaker 1: year if he can't do this. Jeez. Yeah, I'm struggling
- 37:31Speaker 1: this year when Margree's get Marjorie my mama, and I
- 37:35Speaker 1: still gotta get hustled. Hey, so let's ask mister. Remember
- 37:39Speaker 1: he used it in yeah I ain't my mom? Remember that? Well, well,
- 37:45Speaker 1: let's find out what we're doing this year. Hey hey, hey,
- 37:48Speaker 1: hr yeahs is it's no half rich patriarch. Okay, tell me,
- 38:01Speaker 1: So what are you doing something for Mother's Day? Yeah,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm doing something her Mother's Day. So I'm taking the
- 38:08Speaker 1: whole take the whole family, Mama, Jackie, the kids. But
- 38:12Speaker 1: Jackie is not my mama though, But I mean I've
- 38:16Speaker 1: lost that argument. So yeah, but she is the mother
- 38:20Speaker 1: of your children. She is the mother of my tomb.
- 38:22Speaker 1: But that's that's their mama. They need to really be
- 38:24Speaker 1: doing something for they, mama. I'm taking care of my mama.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Tell what I'm doing. I'm taking mamma to care your mama.
- 38:33Speaker 1: If she's the reason you are a father, hello, if
- 38:38Speaker 1: she is the reason, the sole reason you get to
- 38:40Speaker 1: walk around as a father, it's happy mother's day to her.
- 38:46Speaker 1: And why are you looking like that that happy? This
- 38:48Speaker 1: ain't happy wife day. This ain't wife date. This is
- 38:50Speaker 1: a mother's day. And that's okay. I'll tell you what. No, no, no,
- 38:55Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Don't get nothing. And if we
- 38:58Speaker 1: gonna see how happy your wife, dad, I don't want
- 39:00Speaker 1: more trouble, man, I don't want all. Right, coming up
- 39:05Speaker 1: with thirty four minutes after the hour, we're gonna check
- 39:07Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey

- 44:52Speaker 1: Three minutes, it's three minutes. Okay, This right here is

- 46:33Speaker 1: I'm the actual funeral director lords and who who told
- 46:37Speaker 1: you to take me off? One of the one of
- 46:41Speaker 1: the family members I'm assuming is who who made the adjustment?
- 46:45Speaker 1: And an adjustment that ain't no adjustment, that's that's changing
- 46:49Speaker 1: the whole program? Who else is on the list? I
- 46:52Speaker 1: mean there's quite a few family members doing different things,
- 46:55Speaker 1: uh throughout the funeral. Okay, So how did you get
- 47:00Speaker 1: to my name? Is what? I'm trying to figure out
- 47:02Speaker 1: that they said that. Let listen to me. Listen, listen
- 47:05Speaker 1: to me. Listen to me, brother, keep listen. Tell me
- 47:08Speaker 1: what they said. It is that you weren't going to
- 47:11Speaker 1: abide by the time. You weren't going to do your
- 47:15Speaker 1: remarks in three minutes or less. Listen, listen, listen, listen.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Monty raised me. He put me through college. And you
- 47:24Speaker 1: think I'm been, I've been a goes there in her
- 47:27Speaker 1: funeral and be under two minutes. Well, and listen, listen, brother,
- 47:32Speaker 1: keep brother, keep listen to me. Normally, when we have
- 47:35Speaker 1: these funerals, people who give remarks, we have them three
- 47:40Speaker 1: minutes or less. Okay, I'll tell you what. I'll tell
- 47:44Speaker 1: you what, mister Lord. Don't list the list. We have
- 47:50Speaker 1: a sealer. Yes, there's a ceiler that's singing your name
- 47:55Speaker 1: off the list. Take her off the list and put
- 47:57Speaker 1: me where she supposed to be with my turn and
- 47:59Speaker 1: her time is Bobby Joy too? Bobby, Yes, Bobby Junior
- 48:08Speaker 1: is given remark. That's that's that's Delors's that's mister Delores's son, right, Yes,
- 48:15Speaker 1: a son, the one that's been locked up. He just
- 48:17Speaker 1: got out of tail. The truth be told he the
- 48:19Speaker 1: one Dawn then put her in the cof. You needn't
- 48:22Speaker 1: take him off the list too. Give me all that time,
- 48:24Speaker 1: because I mean, if inglen take nothing that Keith, let
- 48:28Speaker 1: me let me, let me just say this to you.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I cannot take Sheila or Bobby Junior off. I can't

- 48:43Speaker 1: you already you already taking you already taking people name off.
- 48:46Speaker 1: You're taking my name off. But but they they orchestrated

- 49:09Speaker 1: I don't want to have this turn out to be
- 49:12Speaker 1: bad and we want to have a great home going
- 49:14Speaker 1: for sister Deloyer. Okay, damn right. And if I don't
- 49:18Speaker 1: get to say nothing, I guaranteese, I guarantee you it's
- 49:21Speaker 1: gonna be a truthful one in there. Somebody else gonna
- 49:24Speaker 1: get things and the call for tooth. I guarantees that
- 49:27Speaker 1: if I don't get to say nothing, that my monkey funeral.
- 49:29Speaker 1: Monethy didn't pay for the college. I didn't put six
- 49:33Speaker 1: thousand in the funeral. I bet you, I tell you this.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'll tell you this, mister Lord. I bet you whether
- 49:40Speaker 1: I don't want the program I'm not. I'll bet you

- 50:45Speaker 1: I know that is all, I ain't got time to
- 50:50Speaker 1: be playing man taking me on damn program. I'm Bobby,
- 51:00Speaker 1: Bobby said, y'all grew up black brothers man, and you was.
- 51:04Speaker 1: You was basically another son of mister Lord's. That's right, Yes,
- 51:08Speaker 1: yes I was. Man. Oh hey, let me ask you
- 51:13Speaker 1: this man, what is the baddest and I mean the
- 51:15Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land, Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 51:22Speaker 1: Mark you hit me? I mean that everybody listening when
- 51:25Speaker 1: y'all go to these funerals, I mean it. Three minute remark.
- 51:28Speaker 1: They ought to cut it to two. They really should
- 51:31Speaker 1: some time to talk. Three three is a long time,
- 51:35Speaker 1: and it's a long time for people who ain't used
- 51:38Speaker 1: to talking in front of nobody. Now, they just running
- 51:40Speaker 1: off that point, that part that you three minutes is
- 51:46Speaker 1: a long time. Get it out two minutes. Say what
- 51:49Speaker 1: you need to say. The person that's gone can't hear
- 51:51Speaker 1: you not Wait if you're saying something about yourself, yeah,
- 51:57Speaker 1: cut that part out. Yeah. I don't you know, I
- 52:00Speaker 1: don't like people telling stories at funerals and don't know
- 52:02Speaker 1: how to tell stories. I can't stand I was at
- 52:05Speaker 1: my boys funeral. Hey man, this dude w ain't came
- 52:08Speaker 1: up with my boys funeral. He had his whole speech
- 52:12Speaker 1: on his laptop and stood there and read it off
- 52:16Speaker 1: his laptop. I can't make this up. He read everything
- 52:20Speaker 1: he said about my friend off a laptop. It was
- 52:23Speaker 1: the most disconnected. That's not genuine job. It wasn't dog.
- 52:28Speaker 1: You didn't even know how. But you know when at
- 52:30Speaker 1: the funeral when they say it all started, you know
- 52:33Speaker 1: when we was kids, you just put your head. The
- 52:35Speaker 1: worst one. It started with the year. It was ninety
- 52:38Speaker 1: year of us. Wasn't here they tim me when you
- 52:43Speaker 1: at Wand's funeral. I didn't make Wanes fun I didn't. Man.
- 52:46Speaker 1: This dude went up and his whole speech was what
- 52:50Speaker 1: am I gonna do now? He had a theme, Who's
- 52:54Speaker 1: gonna call me in the mornings? What a mine gonna do? Now?
- 52:59Speaker 1: When I need that extra lab that I used to
- 53:02Speaker 1: get from him? What am I gonna do? Nothing? Man,
- 53:05Speaker 1: if you don't get your ass out of him, you
- 53:09Speaker 1: we don't give a damn watchmen up in hill what
- 53:14Speaker 1: they don't do? Yes? All right, coming up next Strawberry

- 53:47Speaker 1: never know, you never know. Buckle love and hold on tight.
- 53:50Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter subject,
- 53:54Speaker 1: I just can't do this, Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been
- 53:58Speaker 1: dating a man for four years, and I asked him
- 54:00Speaker 1: to marry me recently because time is of the essence
- 54:03Speaker 1: and I want to have a baby. When we met,
- 54:07Speaker 1: he told me that I would be his wife. I
- 54:09Speaker 1: took it to heart, and I overlooked a lot of
- 54:11Speaker 1: stuff to make our relationship work. I usually wouldn't date
- 54:15Speaker 1: and overwake man, and I definitely wouldn't date a man
- 54:19Speaker 1: with halitosis. I invested in him, and I cooked for him,
- 54:23Speaker 1: worked out with him, and helped him pay for his
- 54:25Speaker 1: dental work, even after he gained most of his weight back.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I was patient with him. I won't say I'm perfect,
- 54:32Speaker 1: but I'm too good for him. If I were him,
- 54:35Speaker 1: i'd jump at the chance to marry me. I can cook,
- 54:39Speaker 1: keep a clean house, and be adventurous in the bedroom. Well,
- 54:43Speaker 1: he didn't get to experience the bedroom part until a
- 54:45Speaker 1: year after we met, after he lost the weight. He
- 54:49Speaker 1: has even told me I'm perfect, So I don't see
- 54:51Speaker 1: how one little mistake, one little mistake on my part,
- 54:55Speaker 1: can make him not want to marry me. So here's
- 54:58Speaker 1: the backstory. I messed around with a coworker three times
- 55:03Speaker 1: and it was the best sex I ever had, so
- 55:06Speaker 1: I decided to share it with one of my best girlfriends.
- 55:10Speaker 1: We all had a threesome, and then she went and
- 55:13Speaker 1: told my boyfriend. He gave me an ultimatum to stop
- 55:16Speaker 1: messing around or I'd lose him. I had invested too
- 55:20Speaker 1: much to let him go, so I stopped messing around
- 55:23Speaker 1: and I cut all ties with my hating friend. My
- 55:25Speaker 1: man and I were working things out, and I decided
- 55:28Speaker 1: to ask him to marry me, to convince him that
- 55:32Speaker 1: I'm all in to this relationship. He told me, I
- 55:36Speaker 1: just can't do this. How can he say that to me?
- 55:39Speaker 1: He can't do it? But I've been holding on and
- 55:42Speaker 1: hoping for a husband for four years. I'm not investing
- 55:45Speaker 1: this kind of time and to anyone else, so this
- 55:48Speaker 1: has to work. How do I convince this man to
- 55:52Speaker 1: be my husband? What are you talking about, lady? This
- 55:58Speaker 1: man is not going to marry you now. He's not
- 56:00Speaker 1: gonna do it, and you have to let this go.
- 56:03Speaker 1: I mean, too much has happened, he said out of
- 56:06Speaker 1: his mouth. He can't do it. You said you were
- 56:09Speaker 1: too good for him. So where are we now? What
- 56:12Speaker 1: are you doing? Are you settling just because time is
- 56:15Speaker 1: of the essence and you want a baby? Or is
- 56:18Speaker 1: it because you helped him with his weight and with
- 56:20Speaker 1: his halitosis and all of that and and marriage? Is
- 56:23Speaker 1: that return on your investment you think? I don't think
- 56:27Speaker 1: you're really ready to marry this man anyway. If you were,
- 56:30Speaker 1: you wouldn't have messed around with your coworker for no
- 56:35Speaker 1: reason at all. I mean, you throw it out there
- 56:38Speaker 1: so casually. So here's the backstory. I messed around, okay, really,
- 56:43Speaker 1: and then you added your girlfriend into it so you
- 56:47Speaker 1: guys could have a threesome. What was the point of that?
- 56:51Speaker 1: How do you expect your man to recover from that?
- 56:54Speaker 1: If he was considering marrying you. It is over now
- 56:58Speaker 1: because of that, he does don't want to marry you.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Now it's over. That's what you gotta get in your head.
- 57:04Speaker 1: It's over, Steve. Damn. I wasn't ready for this letter
- 57:08Speaker 1: right to turn, didn't it? Yeah? It was a nice
- 57:12Speaker 1: little letter. I could was feeling fun. Then all of
- 57:15Speaker 1: a sudden, I don't like a no more, you know,
- 57:17Speaker 1: just a lady. I don't know what you want me
- 57:19Speaker 1: and Shirley to do. I've been dating a man for
- 57:21Speaker 1: four years. Now let me show you how I was
- 57:24Speaker 1: reading the letter. So you can understand you recently asked
- 57:26Speaker 1: a man to marry you, because time is of the
- 57:28Speaker 1: essence right now. He told you when you met that
- 57:31Speaker 1: you could be his wife, and you took it to heart,
- 57:33Speaker 1: and you started overlooking a lot of stuff just to
- 57:37Speaker 1: make our relationship with first thing you did. I usually
- 57:41Speaker 1: wouldn't date and overweight man. So now fat boy had
- 57:44Speaker 1: opened up the whole conversation with oh, I love you,
- 57:49Speaker 1: you will be my wife. He got to come out
- 57:51Speaker 1: the gate with both barrels blazing. He got to come
- 57:54Speaker 1: out the gate. I want to marry you. I want
- 57:56Speaker 1: a family, I want kids. I take care of you.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Ain't got to want for nothing. I love you, you
- 58:00Speaker 1: mind forever? Is that okady? So he knew he had
- 58:05Speaker 1: to come out with it because it's ass is fat. Now,
- 58:09Speaker 1: next problem, definitely wouldn't data man with HOLOTOSI see, holotosis
- 58:15Speaker 1: is different than bad brother. See if you got bad breath,
- 58:19Speaker 1: that's just a day. When somebody says you have holotosis,
- 58:26Speaker 1: they are signing a medical term to what is an
- 58:29Speaker 1: ongoing occurrence. That means every time you open your damn mouth,
- 58:36Speaker 1: here comes something out of it. Now I know for
- 58:41Speaker 1: a fact this is something he eaten and a combination.
- 58:47Speaker 1: I know for a fact that's whether helotosis came from. Yeah,
- 58:51Speaker 1: that's fun. Then I invested in him and cooked for him,
- 58:55Speaker 1: worked out with him, and helped him pay for his
- 58:58Speaker 1: dental work. Now is deeper. Now we got holes and cavitism.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Stuff is hiding in the cavitism down there, turning into
- 59:10Speaker 1: something else. So he opening off his mouth and sound
- 59:14Speaker 1: like a waste management area. So he opened up his mouth.
- 59:21Speaker 1: You don't know what's coming out, but it's deadly though.
- 59:26Speaker 1: It is deadly, and he fat. So now he wheezing.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I say that people that breathe like that. You ever
- 59:35Speaker 1: heard somebody breathe like that? Yeah? Yeah, one more time,
- 59:46Speaker 1: one more time, you'd be saying you sleep like dogs,
- 59:54Speaker 1: you sleep, But he'd be wide awake, be reading texts.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: All right, just stopped up? What is? What is wrong? Dog?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Is you done? Didn't hold on? We'll be back with
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response and his breathing at twenty
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: three minutes after be our Today's Strawberry Letters, subject, I
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: just can't do this. All right, we'll get back into
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening. Are you still breathing? Yeah?
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Let's recap Steve the Strawberry Letter for today's subject, I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: just can't do this. Okay. Lady dating this fat boy
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: for four years and she don't know him to date
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: fat me in, but he came out to gate and
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: said he wanted to marry her. That was intriguing and
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: she wants to hold him to it. But he got holotosa.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: She say. Holotosa's is a level up from bad breath,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: bad breathing. You just got caught out that one day.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: You know what happens to us all I guess, But
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: if you have, if they've assigned a medical condition to it.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: It starts saying, you have halotosa. That means every time
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: d see you, you open your mouth, garbage, hot garbage
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: come out your damn mouth. Okay, so now we went
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: over that. Now she helped him pay his bills, She
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: cooked for him, worked out with him, and helped him
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: pay for his dental work. Now he got to get
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: worked on teeth, moved around, shifting on him and all
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: this hell. Now, even after he gained most of his
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: weight back, she fatboy was not committed to this program.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You took him down too fast, she said, even after
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: he gave most of his weight back. I was patient
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: with it. I wouldn't say I'm perfect, because you know
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: she got some flaws too, right, But I'm too good
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: for him. If I were him, I jump at the
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: chance to marry me. I can cook, so you know,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: see she a little thick. I can cook, keep a
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: clean house, and be adventurous in the bed. Well, he
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: didn't get the experience that bedroom part till after year
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: after we met. But even when he did, see you
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: said something else and that you adventurous in the bedroom.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Now he fat, fat people ain't that adventurous, you know?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: All this, all this, you adn't hit all this. You
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: an't here with all this here. I'm just trying to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: get over here and get this get done. You know
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: all this, all this work I'm doing right here. You
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: see me sweating. I want to stand up to day.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: That's as adventurous as I need to get Why you
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: want to stand up because I'm tired of climbing back
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: out that bed. It's a lot of stuff. So now
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: you aren't here doing monkey flips, and he ain't with
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: none of this. Now you're thinking everything is on her side,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: and then he has even told you that you perfect.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: So I don't see how one little mistake on my
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: part can make him not want to marry me. Oh
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: he would go. So here's the backstory. She messed around
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: with a coworker three times. If the best sect she
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: ever had? Why he was in shape. So it was
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: so good that you shared it with one of your
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: best girlfriend, She said, girl, what now y'all over there
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: having a threesol. Then she went and told your boyfriend,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: fat boy, he gave you an ultimatum to stop messing
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: around or I lose him. I had invested too much
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to let him go, so I stopped messing around. I
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: cut all ties with my hating friend. My man and
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I was working things out, and I decided to ask
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: him to marry me, to convince him that I'm all
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: into this relationship. He told me, I just, I just,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I just I just can't do this one more time,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: one more time. I listen, I just, I just, I
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: just can't do this here you all these people. Now,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: you should have been saying, how can he say that
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to me? He can't do it. I've been holding on
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and hoping for a husband for four years. I'm not
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: investing this type of time into anybody else. So this
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: has to work. How do I convince this man to
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: be my husband? You're not, You're not, You're not. It's
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: over with a couple of things. First of all, you
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: do threesomes. You do threesomes. Now that's hard on the
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: fat man because now he gotta watch everybody here. He
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: don't know if you're looking at him or her. Now
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he just he on point. He can't even eat his dinner.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Hook what he looking at? Well? Who's she listening at?
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Who's looking over here? He looking over here? Why is
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: they're looking over here? Why is only people looking at
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you know him. Have you ever met her too? You
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: know her too? Have you seen him before? Wherever was
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: y'all that together? Y'all probably had another threesomes. He can't
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: even meet his food. He probably losing weight right now
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: because he at the restaurant looking at everybody watching you,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: trying to figure out which one you want, because once
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you do threesomes, you wants everybody. See's one thing for
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: a man had to watch out for another man. But
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: when you got to watch out for the men and
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the women, the waiters, the matre d the owner of
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: the club, the uber driver, it's just two damn much.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: The people in that passing our mints in the bathroom,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: the shoe shine man, the valet. Who you want? They
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: all in him? Your ex, my ex, they exs, what
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: do you want? The pass to the pass and wife
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: wasn't We're in there for you all. In the tenor section,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: soprano section, you see me without tones, bad tones? What's
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: going on in him? It's too much, it's too much.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: It's over now, he said, I just can't do this.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Listen to me, Judge Lynn Tolder told me the best
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: advice I've ever heard on my show. One day she said,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: don't let him man have to tell you twice he
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: don't want you. I've told y'all this, Don't let him
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: man have to tell you twice he don't want you.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: He watching too much, So let his fat ass, bad
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: breath having lad go head on. He ain't gonna get
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: nobody else here that breathing or queezing and stuff. And
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: the whole time time he was telling you, baby, I'm sorry,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I was seeing this other man. Who who was he? Who?
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Who was he doing that? I can't do? What? What
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: was she in that doing? Folk? Too? Was she? All? Right? Listen?
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Post your comments on holo Baby, hand me my cup
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: of coffee. Strawberry Letter at Instagram and Facebook. Check out
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on the Man Hopping up in
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: forty six minutes after the hours. Wait, we'll have a
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: sports talk with Junior right after this. You're listening to
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: morning show. It is time now for Junior in sports talk. Hey, Junior,

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: is that is that's that's great for him. Once again,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: another reason why I don't want to be a Texans fan.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: We don't want to go get nobody. He just been
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: sitting out there, unsigned free agent, like we don't need
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: to help. Okay, congratulations turn around Matthew like a little
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: hate though. Yeah it is team Man Junior. What's that?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I want to thank you with Sean Watson though, thank
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: you once again helping everybody become better at the quarterback
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: position except us, Tommy, do you even know who our
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: quarterback is? Uh? That's why we're dogging our with team.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: We ain't got war with whole time. Mr Wins In
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: the NBA, let's move on, he don't. Don't you know,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I try to fade out on your own little report.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I got a new football team. I'm in the USA
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: USFL right now. Okay, let's go Gamblers because they at
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: least they winning at least Houston Gamblers, or you ain't
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: gonna be in that league long. They've done hit the
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: phote twice. Here we go in the NBA, Man the
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: seventy six has had a rough of the heat. Man
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: took the game one o six to ninety two. No, No,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Joel EMBI. He was out with a concussion in the
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: orbital fracture. Probably won't make it back to the game
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: three or four. Tyler Hero off the bench with twenty
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: five points for the heat. Tobias Harris led all scores
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: with twenty seven. But let there's no James Harden Man.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: You know Harden, How do you think he played? Did
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: you see the game? I didn't see the game. Man.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Did they lose? Yeah? They lost? Man hard and hold
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: the ball too long, Julian. He hold the ball too long.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: He holds the ball way too long. By the time
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: he passed the ball, it's time to shoot the ball.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: You hold the ball too long. Roll y'all had him
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: in Houston. Yeah, that's what he was doing, holding the
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: damn ball. Holding holding the ball. Man, all right? He
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: the series won nothing today, over to one game, Sons, Man,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: over the Maths. Come on, Sons one, twenty one to
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: one fourteen. Now, Luca, though, luka donnas, that boy put
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: the put down forty five. Okay, Now he's a serious problem.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Even though they lost the game. Still a problem. But
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: the Suns man Devin Booker came back on game twenty three.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Chris Paul had nineteen and DeAndre Aiden twenty five. Souh
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: this series here, I'm looking looking forward. Hat is gonna
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: try to own suns is up. But tonight he got
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: to sweep on this one. Yeah, it's proves out tonight.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: We got the Bucks and Celtics Bucks League one zero
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: and the Warriors and Grizzly one zero Warriors. So that's
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: our sports for today. All right, thank you Junior. Coming
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. We have a
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: lot of primary elections in the month of May. We'll
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening show well.

- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Do not wait until the last minute to register to
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: vote or check your registration. Take action now. Know your
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: rights as a voter. These primary elections are just as
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: important now as the general elections, and we want to
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: be involved in all of that. If you're in line
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and listen to this. If you're in line when polls
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: are supposed to close, stay in line. You have the

- 1:10:58Speaker 1: ask for a new one. If the machines are down
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: at your polling place, ask for a paper ballot. If
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: your citizenship, criminal record, or other qualifications are questioned, immediately
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: call the Election Protection Hotline, where trained volunteers are available
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: to help. If you run into any problems or have
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: any questions before or on election day, call the Election
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Protection Hotline at one eight six six hour vote one
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: eight sixty six hour vote one eight six six six
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: eight seven eighty six eighty three. Very important. Okay, primary
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: elections are coming up. Yeah, May is busy, busy months.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Listen to me, y'all. We got to vote in everything.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: We have to vote in everything that Republicans are busy
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: with this vote of suppression. They are about the business
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: of suppressing the vote. They are doing everything. It is
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: their mission. They still trying to spread this line about
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the election was stolen. This is the lioness hypocritical country
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: when it comes to voting. But all we got to
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: do is vote, because they got the county, and our
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: vote changes things. We are the reason that Georgia turned
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: blue for the first time, with or with us off
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: and warning, that's the reason. That's this is the reason
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams can be our next governor because we helped
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you got to vote. We are not giving them Georgia
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: back in the Senate and we are going to get
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: us a governor because Purdue and Kemp is out there
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: killing each other. But I don't care which one of
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: them come out of the top on this Republican primary,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Kemp or Purdue. They are going to jump behind whoever
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: comes out of that race right there. So we got
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: to get with Stacy now, and we got to watch
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: warning because they trying to put this boy, herschel Walker
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: up against it. See, they'll do anything. They'll go get
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: another black thinking that we vote for people just because
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: they're black, and Jesse confused the black vote. They'll go
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: get a black that ain't really black. See say that,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: they get a black that ain't really black and try
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: to confuse you because they try to do it to
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: us in Michigan, and we got hip to that. We're
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: not doing that. You're not doing that to us in Georgia.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: We know who Herschel Walker is, we know his platform,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: we know what he stands for. He is a conservative Republican.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: He don't even like hisself, stands for all the white Samericans.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: What how I do? That's why you're not gonna do it, Herschel, Herschel,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: who do you stand for? What I stands for all
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: white s America. That's what I do. Y'all votes and
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: for me? If yeah, Herschel, you're not talking ignorant enough.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Come on now, that's what we told you to do.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Now once again, Herschel gets our scorn, gets all of
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: them to come over. He is and votes with us
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: at a boy, Herschel, make sure if you're not registered,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: if registered to vote and vote, please, we need you.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: We'll have more of today's trending stories on the Steve

- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I'm sittingup with that politician. Yeah, I'm gonna sit up
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: there with that politician because at least I'm gonna get

- 1:19:57Speaker 1: My name is Robert. I'm a sixty having year old
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: black man who loves your show. However, as a Christian man,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I wish you would just stop trying to make the
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Christians cuss with the joke of the day. You have
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: such a good chance of being a good life for God.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: And I'm thinking I hope from pray that you really
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: will start to use that in a more productive way
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: than making them fall down. Thank you, have a wonderful day, Hey, Robert.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. Let me ask you
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: a question, Robert, who who made you the head disciple
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: of the Christian Black Men. I appreciate what you're saying, Robert,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: but you sixty seven, and I ain't trying to make
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: nobody do nothing. This how, this is how I am.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: This is my walk. See see, Robert, my walk different
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: from your walk because where he saved me from it
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: may be different from where he saved you from. See.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I was way out there, Robert. I'm telling me, I
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: was way out there. See you might not have been
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: out as far to see as I was. You might
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: have been a little closer to showing got saved. So
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: see what I'm doing now, it's real good compared to
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: what I used to do. Amen. And I don't really know, Robert,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: if I'm trying to really just cut out cussing all together.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: I just don't know that I am, because I tried
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: it a couple of times before and fail miserably. And
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I don't even I don't even know how you're living
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: without it. Myself, and I'm not trying to get you
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to use it, Robert, but you sixty seven, you'd love
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: the showing you a Christian man and all this you
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: and I appreciate you, Robert being a good Christian man.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: But we need people like you, Robert. You know that's
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: living a little bit closer to the line. But you know, Robert,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: what about them days? Let me ask you a question, Robert,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: what about them days when you ain't on the line?
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: You know, because then de meres some days when you
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: ain't on the line. See the days? Yeah, see the
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: days I ain't on the line. I got a microphone
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: attached to the day I ain't on the line. But
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: what about them days, Robert, when you ain't on the line?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: You know you're old or something like that. You know
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: you want one of them young girls at the church.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: You know you're looking at them rubbing your thired time
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: she walked back. You know what I'm saying, Robert, Oh
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you don't do that? Oh well what do you do? Then? Robert?
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: Let me ask you a couple of questions. You know,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: have you ever ever cheated? Robert? Have you ever ever

- 1:23:02Speaker 1: father than I used to be. I'm a better husband
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: than I used to be. But I grew into this, Robert,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: just took me a little bit of time to get here. Now.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: The fact that I still cuss, try not to let
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: that bother you, Robert, because it's really really one of
