Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Operation Rising Lion: Israel Strikes Iran’s Nuclear Core
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: We start with the big breaking news and that is
- 0:04Speaker 1: coming out of Israel. Israel has struck Iran, and Iran
- 0:09Speaker 1: is now confirming that the IRGC terar chief Salami has
- 0:14Speaker 1: also been eliminated. Benjamin Nettnahu announcing the operation as well,
- 0:21Speaker 1: talking about what this means. And we also have found
- 0:23Speaker 1: out that not only did Iran state run Islamic Republic
- 0:28Speaker 1: News agency confirm in the early hours of Friday morning
- 0:32Speaker 1: that the Israeli airstrike on targets in the country eliminated
- 0:35Speaker 1: the major General Salami, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Other arms of Iran state news apparatus also confirm this.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Several high profile regime members, including not one, but two
- 0:51Speaker 1: of their top nuclear scientists. Now this is obviously massive
- 0:56Speaker 1: because if you want to take out their nuclear program,
- 0:59Speaker 1: taking out the scientist behind it is huge. It's very
- 1:03Speaker 1: hard to get nuclear scientists to defect and come to Iran,
- 1:07Speaker 1: so taking them out could put back their program literally years.
- 1:12Speaker 1: They were killed in these strikes, and that is again massive. Now,
- 1:18Speaker 1: Islami may be by far one of the highest ranking
- 1:22Speaker 1: Iranian regime officials who have been targeted successfully in the operation.
- 1:27Speaker 1: He is one of those that was important to take out,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and Israel had planned this for quite some time and
- 1:32Speaker 1: they were able to do it. Salami had to stay
- 1:35Speaker 1: in a place. As one of the most prominent and
- 1:38Speaker 1: also belligerent senior leaders in the Iranian Islamic regime. He
- 1:42Speaker 1: regularly threatened attacks on America and Israel, and what was
- 1:47Speaker 1: perhaps his final public appearance on Thursday, Salami declared that
- 1:52Speaker 1: his forces were quote war tested and experienced, prepared for
- 1:57Speaker 1: war against its enemies. Now that was just twenty four
- 2:01Speaker 1: hours ago. He said that publicly now, the IRGC is
- 2:06Speaker 1: both a US designated terrorist organization he was in charge
- 2:09Speaker 1: of it, and a formal wing of the Iranian Armed Forces.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Among its chief operations is to sustain relations between the
- 2:17Speaker 1: Iranian terror state and its Jihadis proxies who does That
- 2:22Speaker 1: include the Huthis and Yemen, the Lebanese Hesblah, and with
- 2:26Speaker 1: fellow rogue states such as Venezuela and Cuba. The IRNA
- 2:31Speaker 1: confirmed Solami's death and a brief message that offered no
- 2:34Speaker 1: details on the occurrence. It just confirmed that Salami died
- 2:38Speaker 1: in Tehran and claimed him a victim of assassination. Their
- 2:44Speaker 1: words now also in a separate report, the state news
- 2:47Speaker 1: outlet confirmed a barrage of air strikes over the capital
- 2:50Speaker 1: city by the Israeli Air Force. Another Iranian state media outlet,
- 2:55Speaker 1: press TV, reported early Friday that the strikes had march
- 3:00Speaker 1: several other senior IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists. So we're
- 3:06Speaker 1: getting lots of confirmation about how deadly and how surgical
- 3:10Speaker 1: these strikes were on the top leadership in Iran veteran
- 3:14Speaker 1: nuclear scientists. Two of them, in fact, they, as they
- 3:19Speaker 1: described it, were martyred in the attack. Press TV reported,
- 3:22Speaker 1: adding confirmation from now that at least one Iranian military leader,
- 3:27Speaker 1: the chief of the Iranian Armed Forces also a major
- 3:31Speaker 1: General Bagherry, is still alive and in Iran's war room
- 3:36Speaker 1: quote plotting the nation's response. Now, The Times of Israel,
- 3:41Speaker 1: citing Iranian state television, reported that Israel apparently also bombed
- 3:47Speaker 1: one of the most prominent uranium enrichment facilities in the country,
- 3:53Speaker 1: the facility known as the Natanz facility, and there was
- 3:58Speaker 1: several hits apparently on that facility. It was scattered among
- 4:03Speaker 1: anonymous reports as well on social media that this had
- 4:06Speaker 1: also happened, and we also been told that there was
- 4:09Speaker 1: disruptions and Iran by undercover MASAD agents have also now
- 4:14Speaker 1: surfaced that Israel has not confirmed that. I want to
- 4:16Speaker 1: be clear now. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nettna who
- 4:20Speaker 1: also confirmed the airstrikes during a national address on Friday morning,
- 4:24Speaker 1: identifying the strikes as Operation Rising Lion. I want you
- 4:30Speaker 1: to hear what Netnya who had to say as he
- 4:33Speaker 1: addressed not only the people of Israel, but also the
- 4:36Speaker 1: people of the world.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Moments ago, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, a targeted military
- 4:43Speaker 2: operation to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel's very survival.
- 4:49Speaker 2: This operation will continue for as many days as it
- 4:52Speaker 2: takes to remove this threat. For decades, the tyrants of
- 4:56Speaker 2: Tehran have brazenly openly called for Israel's destruction. They've backed
- 5:02Speaker 2: up their genocidal rhetoric with a program to develop nuclear weapons.
- 5:07Speaker 2: In recent years, Iran is produced enough highly enriched uranium
- 5:12Speaker 2: for nine atom bombs. Nine In recent months, Iran has
- 5:17Speaker 2: taken steps that it has never taken before, steps to
- 5:21Speaker 2: weaponize this enriched uranium, and if not stopped, Iran could
- 5:25Speaker 2: produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time. It
- 5:29Speaker 2: could be a year. It could be within a few months,
- 5:31Speaker 2: less than a year. This is a clear and present
- 5:34Speaker 2: danger to Israel's very survival. Eighty years ago, the Jewish
- 5:39Speaker 2: people were the victims of a holocaust perpetrated by the
- 5:43Speaker 2: Nazi regime. Today, the Jewish state refuses to be a
- 5:47Speaker 2: victim of a nuclear holocaust perpetrated by the Uranian regime. Now,
- 5:53Speaker 2: as Prime Minister, I've made it clear time it again.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Israel will never allow those who call for our annihilation
- 6:01Speaker 2: to develop the means to achieve that goal. Tonight, Israel
- 6:04Speaker 2: backs those words with action. We struck at the heart
- 6:08Speaker 2: of Iran's nuclear enrichment program. We struck at the heart
- 6:12Speaker 2: of Iran's nuclear weaponization program. We targeted Iran's main enrichment
- 6:17Speaker 2: facility in Atans. We targeted Iran's leading nuclear scientists working
- 6:22Speaker 2: on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart
- 6:24Speaker 2: of Iran's ballistic missile program. Last year, Iran fired three
- 6:29Speaker 2: hundred ballistic missiles at Israel. Each of these missiles carries
- 6:34Speaker 2: a ton of explosives and threatens the lives of hundreds
- 6:38Speaker 2: of people. Soon, those missiles could carry a nuclear payload,
- 6:43Speaker 2: threatening the lives not of hundreds, but of millions. Iran
- 6:47Speaker 2: is gearing up to produce ten thousands of those ballistic
- 6:50Speaker 2: missiles within three years.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Now.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Just imagine imagine ten thousand tons of TNT landing on
- 6:59Speaker 2: a country the size of New Jersey. This is an
- 7:03Speaker 2: intolerable threat. It too must be stopped. Iran is now
- 7:07Speaker 2: working on what it calls the new plan to destroy Israel.
- 7:12Speaker 2: See the old plan failed. Iran and its proxies try
- 7:16Speaker 2: to encircle Israel with a ring of fire and to
- 7:19Speaker 2: attack us with the horrible attack of October seventh. But
- 7:23Speaker 2: the people of Israel, the soldiers of Israel, rose like
- 7:26Speaker 2: lions to defend our country. We crushed from as we
- 7:30Speaker 2: devastated Ribalah, We hid Iranian proxies in Syria and Yemen,
- 7:34Speaker 2: and when Iran directly attacked us twice last year, we
- 7:37Speaker 2: struck back inside Iran itself. Yet in defending ourselves, we
- 7:42Speaker 2: also defend others. We defend our Arab neighbors. They too
- 7:46Speaker 2: have suffered from Iran's campaign of chaos and carnage. Our
- 7:50Speaker 2: actions against Iran's proxy Hizballah led to the establishment of
- 7:54Speaker 2: a new government in Lebanon and the collapse of Asad's
- 7:58Speaker 2: murderous regime in Syria. The peoples of those two countries
- 8:02Speaker 2: now have a chance for a different future, a better future.
- 8:06Speaker 2: So too, to the brave people of Iran, and I
- 8:09Speaker 2: have a message for them. Our fight is not with you.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Our fight is with the brutal dictatorship that has oppressed
- 8:17Speaker 2: you for forty six years. I believe that the day
- 8:21Speaker 2: of your liberation is near, and when that happens, the
- 8:25Speaker 2: great friendship between our two ancient peoples will flourish once again.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I want to assure the civilized world we will not
- 8:34Speaker 2: let the world's most dangerous regime get the world's most
- 8:37Speaker 2: dangerous weapons. And Iran plans to give those weapons nuclear
- 8:41Speaker 2: weapons to its terrorist proxies that would make the nightmare
- 8:45Speaker 2: of nuclear terrorism all too real. The increasing range of
- 8:49Speaker 2: Iran's ballistic missiles would bring that nuclear nightmare to the
- 8:53Speaker 2: cities of Europe and eventually to America.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Now the Israeli Prime Minister net Now who also confirmed
- 9:02Speaker 1: that these air strikes may not just be a one
- 9:04Speaker 1: day and done, saying quote, this operation will continue for
- 9:07Speaker 1: as many days as it takes, stating that the Iranian
- 9:10Speaker 1: officials were actively taking steps to weaponize it's enriched uranium
- 9:14Speaker 1: stockpile and calling on Tehran and saying they're a clear
- 9:18Speaker 1: and present danger to Israel's survival and also to others
- 9:22Speaker 1: in the world. Now, Center Cruz and I set down
- 9:26Speaker 1: for our podcast that we do Verticquate Tech. Cruz and
- 9:29Speaker 1: I want to play for you what we had to say,
- 9:31Speaker 1: because he had just gotten off the phone with the
- 9:34Speaker 1: Israeli ambassador and had had a briefing on this attack
- 9:39Speaker 1: and what is next, and I want you to hear
- 9:41Speaker 1: what was said.
- 9:42Speaker 3: So take a listen.
- 9:43Speaker 4: We are gathered right now at a time of war,
- 9:45Speaker 4: that time when Israel is striking back at Iran, striking
- 9:49Speaker 4: back to ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.
- 9:52Speaker 4: And you and I are recording this podcast at is
- 9:55Speaker 4: twelve oh seven am on Friday morning, So the events
- 9:58Speaker 4: may change in the next forty eight hours, but at
- 10:01Speaker 4: twelve oh seven am, the war is just unfolding and
- 10:05Speaker 4: we're seeing what's happening, and what's happening so far israel strikes,
- 10:10Speaker 4: by the early reports, have been enormously effective. Israel has
- 10:14Speaker 4: taken out the chief of the IRGC. Israel has taken
- 10:19Speaker 4: out the successor to the chief of the IRGC. Israel
- 10:23Speaker 4: has decimated Tons, a major nuclear site in Iran, and
- 10:28Speaker 4: Israel is carrying out multiple military strikes right now as
- 10:32Speaker 4: we speak. Now, I will say, by the time you
- 10:34Speaker 4: listen to this podcast, it may be Friday during the
- 10:37Speaker 4: day and you're listening to the podcast. It may be
- 10:39Speaker 4: Saturday or Sunday and you're listening to this show on
- 10:41Speaker 4: the radio. Things may have changed by then. But right
- 10:45Speaker 4: now we are seeing war in the Middle East. We
- 10:48Speaker 4: are seeing Israel acting decisively to protect yourself. And I
- 10:53Speaker 4: will say there are several messages that every one of
- 10:55Speaker 4: us need to hear, but the two that are most
- 10:57Speaker 4: important our number one, America stands unequivocally with the state
- 11:04Speaker 4: of Israel. We are with Israel and her right to
- 11:06Speaker 4: defend herself with no daylight whatsoever. And number two, a
- 11:12Speaker 4: message to the Ayatola. We have an enormous number of
- 11:15Speaker 4: American servicemen and women in harm's way in the Middle East.
- 11:19Speaker 4: The Iahtola needs to understand if you strike out and
- 11:24Speaker 4: attack American servicemen and women, if you kill even a
- 11:27Speaker 4: single American servicemen or women, I am absolutely confident President
- 11:32Speaker 4: Trump will respond with overwhelming force. And so the Iyahtola
- 11:38Speaker 4: should know, do not attack America as a response to
- 11:42Speaker 4: this military assault.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Amen to that. And look, this is such a hard
- 11:47Speaker 1: time right now for so many in Israel, and so
- 11:49Speaker 1: many that listen to the show have asks what can
- 11:52Speaker 1: I do to help? How do I stand with the
- 11:54Speaker 1: people in Israel? They need her help now more than ever.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And that's why I want you to get involved with
- 11:58Speaker 1: an organization that I'm heavily involved with. It's called the
- 12:02Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. And we are seeing
- 12:05Speaker 1: something that's disturbing, anti Semitism on the rise around the world.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Sadly right here in America. You have seen Jewish schools
- 12:13Speaker 1: that have been targeted, synagogues that have been threatened, families
- 12:16Speaker 1: that are living in fear. And that's happening in the US.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Imagine what's happening right now in Israel. And that's why
- 12:23Speaker 1: I want you to know about the International Fellowship of
- 12:25Speaker 1: Christians and Jews. They're on the front lines and they're
- 12:28Speaker 1: providing hope and help when it is needed the most,
- 12:32Speaker 1: especially right now. They're giving food and shelter to Jewish
- 12:36Speaker 1: families that are under threat. They are building countless bomb
- 12:40Speaker 1: shelters for children to keep them safe. In Israel, they're
- 12:44Speaker 1: helping survivors of hate rebuild their lives. And they don't
- 12:47Speaker 1: just respond to crisis, they work every day to prevent it. Now,
- 12:51Speaker 1: your gift of only forty five dollars not only will
- 12:55Speaker 1: help support life saving work by providing food and shelter
- 12:59Speaker 1: and bombshells and armored vehicles, but it will give them
- 13:03Speaker 1: peace knowing that there are people standing with the people
- 13:07Speaker 1: in Israel. So if you've thought about helping, now is
- 13:11Speaker 1: the time to do it. Call them and make a
- 13:14Speaker 1: donation eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ.
- 13:18Speaker 3: That's eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You can also go online to IFCJ dot org.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Every dollar truly does help.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Don't wait be the difference of his IFCJ dot orger
- 13:33Speaker 1: eight a eight four eight eight IFCJ. Right now, all right, Senator,
- 13:38Speaker 1: So let's start with the basic question, and that is
- 13:43Speaker 1: what how did this begin? What have you learned being
- 13:48Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. About this strike on these Iranian
- 13:51Speaker 1: nuclear sites and military targets. What do you know tonight
- 13:54Speaker 1: that that you can tell people listening?
- 13:58Speaker 4: Well, let me say, first of all, I believe this
- 14:00Speaker 4: attack was inevitable that Iran was hell bent on acquiring
- 14:06Speaker 4: nuclear weapons. President Trump said repeatedly and unequivocally that the
- 14:11Speaker 4: only option for Iran was a complete and total dismantlement
- 14:16Speaker 4: of their centrifuges, of their enrichment capacity, of their ability
- 14:20Speaker 4: to enrich uranium. I led a letter with fifty two
- 14:24Speaker 4: Republican senators where we said, united, we agree with President Trump.
- 14:29Speaker 4: This is the red line, complete and total dismantlement of
- 14:33Speaker 4: their nuclear capacity. Now, what President Trump said is there's
- 14:37Speaker 4: two ways they can do this. One they can do
- 14:39Speaker 4: so peacefully through negotiations, and that's what the Trump administration
- 14:43Speaker 4: was trying to do. Or two, if they refuse to dismantle,
- 14:48Speaker 4: they will have the centrifugions dismantled through warfare. Well, this morning,
- 14:56Speaker 4: the Iranian regime announced it was not going to shut
- 14:59Speaker 4: down even in a single centrifuge. Instead, it was going
- 15:02Speaker 4: to build more. That they were hell bent on building
- 15:05Speaker 4: more centrifuges, enriching more uranium, and they were on the
- 15:09Speaker 4: path to a nuclear weapon. And I got to say, Ben,
- 15:12Speaker 4: the consequences of the statements this morning, we're number one.
- 15:18Speaker 4: There were a gigantic middle Frank Finger to President Trump.
- 15:21Speaker 4: They were saying, we don't care what you say. We
- 15:24Speaker 4: want nuclear weapons, and we're not gonna be dissuaded. We're
- 15:27Speaker 4: not going to be deterred. But number two, they were
- 15:29Speaker 4: a very clear message to Israel, attack us now, because
- 15:33Speaker 4: we are barreling towards acquiring a nuclear weapon, and if
- 15:36Speaker 4: you wait, you may find yourself with an enemy that
- 15:40Speaker 4: has a nuclear weapon and that can detonated over the
- 15:43Speaker 4: skies of Israel and kill millions of Israelis. And so
- 15:47Speaker 4: Iran set us on this course, and the government of
- 15:51Speaker 4: Israel is acting to keep the people of Israel safe.
- 15:55Speaker 4: But it is nonetheless an extraordinarily perilous time for Israel,
- 16:00Speaker 4: for America and for the world.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Say, you just mentioned that this was inevitable, and it
- 16:04Speaker 1: does feel like it was a long time coming, and
- 16:07Speaker 1: there was a question of who was going to do it.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Was it going to be America, was it going to
- 16:11Speaker 1: be Israel. Clearly now we know this as Israel is
- 16:14Speaker 1: launching this preemptive strike, and some would even argue this
- 16:17Speaker 1: was long overdue.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Yes, And I will say President Trump announced on April
- 16:23Speaker 4: twelfth that Iran has sixty days to negotiate and agree
- 16:28Speaker 4: to this sixty days. This attack was launched on June twelfth, Thursday,
- 16:34Speaker 4: June twelfth, exactly sixty days after that. That is not
- 16:38Speaker 4: an accident. Iran understood they had a timeframe, but you
- 16:42Speaker 4: got to understand the Iranians when they negotiate, they want
- 16:44Speaker 4: to delay. They wanted to delay, they want to continue
- 16:47Speaker 4: to reap the benefits of Joe Biden and the Democrats
- 16:51Speaker 4: weakness and appeasement and fuel the money that they received
- 16:56Speaker 4: into developing nuclear weapons. And so Israel made the decision.
- 17:00Speaker 4: They made the decision they were going to attack. They
- 17:02Speaker 4: were going to attack on exactly the sixty day expiration
- 17:05Speaker 4: of President Trump's deadline. And I think that was driven
- 17:09Speaker 4: by Iran beginning Thursday by saying we're not changing a
- 17:14Speaker 4: damn thing. We're gonna keep building centrifuges and effectively we
- 17:19Speaker 4: want a nuclear weapon and there's nothing you can do
- 17:21Speaker 4: to stop us. Israel acted to demonstrate that was not right.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Senator, I want to also remind people we do the
- 17:27Speaker 1: show as a podcast, so you can grab it three
- 17:29Speaker 1: days a week wherever you get your podcasts. Don't forget
- 17:32Speaker 1: subscribe to vertict with tech Cruise and let's get into
- 17:34Speaker 1: what Netnya who had to say as well Senator Netnak
- 17:37Speaker 1: who came out and was and spoke very boldly, not
- 17:40Speaker 1: just to the people in Israel, but also to the world.
- 17:43Speaker 4: So on Thursday evening, as the military strike was beginning,
- 17:47Speaker 4: Prime Minister Netnyah who addressed Israel and addressed the world.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Here's what he had to say.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Moments ago, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, a targeted military
- 17:58Speaker 2: operation to roll back the Uranian threat to Israel's very survival.
- 18:04Speaker 2: This operation will continue for as many days as it
- 18:06Speaker 2: takes to remove this threat. For decades, the tyrants of
- 18:11Speaker 2: Tehran have brazenly openly called for Israel's destruction. They've backed
- 18:17Speaker 2: up their genocidal rhetoric with a program to develop nuclear weapons.
- 18:22Speaker 2: In recent years, Iran has produced enough highly enriched uranium
- 18:26Speaker 2: for nine atom bombs. Nine In recent months, Iran has
- 18:32Speaker 2: taken steps that it has never taken before, steps to
- 18:36Speaker 2: weaponize this enriched uranium. And if not stopped, Iran could
- 18:40Speaker 2: produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time. It
- 18:43Speaker 2: could be a year, it could be within a few months,
- 18:46Speaker 2: less than a year. This is a clear and present
- 18:49Speaker 2: danger to Israel's very survival. Eighty years ago, the Jewish
- 18:54Speaker 2: people were the victims of a holocaust perpetrated by the
- 18:58Speaker 2: Nazi regime. Today, the Jewish state refuses to be a
- 19:02Speaker 2: victim of a nuclear holocaust perporpated by the Iranian regime. Now,
- 19:07Speaker 2: as Prime Minister, I've made it clear time and again,
- 19:12Speaker 2: Israel will never allow those who call for our annihilation
- 19:16Speaker 2: to develop the means to achieve that goal. Tonight, Israel
- 19:19Speaker 2: backs those words with action. We struck at the heart
- 19:23Speaker 2: of Iran's nuclear enrichment program. We struck at the heart
- 19:26Speaker 2: of Iran's nuclear weaponization program. We targeted Iran's main enrichment
- 19:32Speaker 2: facility in Atans. We targeted Iran's leading nuclear scientists working
- 19:37Speaker 2: on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart
- 19:39Speaker 2: of Iran's ballistic missile program. Last year, Iran fired three
- 19:44Speaker 2: hundred ballistic missiles at Israel. Each of these missiles carries
- 19:49Speaker 2: a ton of explosives and threatens the lives of hundreds
- 19:53Speaker 2: of people. Soon, those missiles could carry a nuclear payload,
- 19:58Speaker 2: threatening the lives not of hundreds, but of millions. Iran
- 20:02Speaker 2: is gearing up to produce ten thousands of those ballistic
- 20:05Speaker 2: missiles within three years now. Just imagine, imagine ten thousand
- 20:11Speaker 2: tons of TNT landing on a country the size of
- 20:16Speaker 2: New Jersey. This is an intolerable threat. It too must
- 20:21Speaker 2: be stopped.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You listen to Netnyahu there, and not only was he
- 20:25Speaker 1: very clear and direct, but it was I think a
- 20:28Speaker 1: argument that if you're a sane person wherever you are
- 20:31Speaker 1: in the world, and you're looking at the position that
- 20:34Speaker 1: Israel is in with a Ran next door, they had
- 20:37Speaker 1: no choice but.
- 20:38Speaker 3: To do this.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Yes, Look, as you know, I know Prime Minister Netneho
- 20:43Speaker 4: very well. He is a friend. We've spent a lot
- 20:46Speaker 4: of time together. When he was in DC last month,
- 20:50Speaker 4: he and I spent two, almost two and a half
- 20:52Speaker 4: hours together, just one on one. I will tell you,
- 20:56Speaker 4: in the thirteen years i've been in the Senate, I've
- 20:58Speaker 4: met a lot of world leaders. That's part of a job,
- 21:00Speaker 4: as you meet the leaders of foreign countries. There is
- 21:04Speaker 4: only one who has taking my breath away. I think
- 21:08Speaker 4: Prime Minister netanya who the adjective I've used for him
- 21:11Speaker 4: I've not used for anyone else is Churchillian, because I
- 21:16Speaker 4: think he has a seriousness of purpose. I think he
- 21:18Speaker 4: has a gravitas. He understands that he is facing literally
- 21:22Speaker 4: a threat to annihilate the people of his country, and
- 21:27Speaker 4: he is committed to doing everything necessary to prevent it.
- 21:31Speaker 4: You know, I'll tell you when Obama was president, and
- 21:33Speaker 4: when Obama was negotiating and announcing the Obama Iran nuclear Deal,
- 21:39Speaker 4: which was catastrophically devastating, the House of Representatives invited Prime
- 21:44Speaker 4: Minister Netna who to come and address a joint session
- 21:46Speaker 4: of Congress. And when that happened, I invited Ellie Wizzell,
- 21:51Speaker 4: who is the Nobel Laureate, incredible, incredible man, to come
- 21:56Speaker 4: participate in a conversation with me on what the threat
- 21:59Speaker 4: of a nuclear was.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Ellie, he wanted it to be very mache bipartisan event.
- 22:07Speaker 4: So I invited Chuck Schumer to participate. He said no.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I invited multiple Democrats to participate, one after the other
- 22:16Speaker 4: after the other. They sayed said no. Finally I told Ellie,
- 22:19Speaker 4: no Democrat will participate. We did a gathering in the capital.
- 22:23Speaker 4: We had over five hundred people come in the capital. Listen.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Ellie was l talk about his experiences seeing the horrors
- 22:32Speaker 4: of the Holocaust, seeing the horrors of evil and Nazi Germany,
- 22:37Speaker 4: and I got to say when Ellie was l talked
- 22:40Speaker 4: about never again means never again, and the greatest threat
- 22:45Speaker 4: of another holocaust on planet Earth is a nuclear Iran,
- 22:49Speaker 4: where these theocratic lunatics use nuclear weapons to murder millions
- 22:55Speaker 4: of Israelis. It was powerful. It took my breath away
- 23:00Speaker 4: to be sitting at the table with him. But it
- 23:02Speaker 4: also spoke volumes that not a single Democrat was willing
- 23:06Speaker 4: to be in the room. And I'll tell you ben
- 23:08Speaker 4: So on that speech on the Senate floor, I was there.
- 23:10Speaker 4: I listened to Prime Minister Netyahu's speech, which was powerful,
- 23:14Speaker 4: it was incredibly important, and we saw a vast number
- 23:18Speaker 4: of Democrats boycott the speech, refuse to attend. We saw
- 23:23Speaker 4: that again when when when the Prime Minister addressed Congress
- 23:26Speaker 4: more recently, and again Democrats boycott of the speech. Kamala
- 23:30Speaker 4: Harris boycott of the speech, refused to listen to the
- 23:33Speaker 4: democratically elected leader of Israel. And it is a sad
- 23:36Speaker 4: dynamic that today's Democrat party is dominated by the Prohamas faction.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Today's Democrat Party isn't panic because right now, far too
- 23:48Speaker 4: many of their radicals sympathize with Iran over Israel. And
- 23:53Speaker 4: that that may sound like hyperbole, but you know what
- 23:56Speaker 4: we are going to see. I'm going to predict this,
- 23:58Speaker 4: you and I. This is this is early Friday morning.
- 24:01Speaker 4: We are going to see Democrat after Democrat saying to Israel,
- 24:07Speaker 4: you need to restrain yourself, not calling out a Ran,
- 24:10Speaker 4: but calling out Israel because that.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Is where the bank on Israel.
- 24:14Speaker 4: That party is.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yes.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Yeah, after the attack, they've came out and said they
- 24:18Speaker 1: must show restraint. Before they'd even been able to figure
- 24:20Speaker 1: out what had happened in Israel, They're like, well, they
- 24:22Speaker 1: need to show restraint, they must show restrained.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Everything the Biden administration over and over again said do
- 24:27Speaker 4: not kill the terrorists, do not kill the terrorists. They
- 24:29Speaker 4: cut off weapons to Israel. The radical left in the
- 24:34Speaker 4: Democrat Party hates Israel and that battle is only gonna
- 24:37Speaker 4: get worse.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile real quick.
- 24:40Speaker 1: If you've got a cell phone and your cell phone
- 24:44Speaker 1: is not with Patriot Mobile, then the question I got
- 24:46Speaker 1: to ask you is why why have you not made
- 24:49Speaker 1: the switch? Well, you should make the switch, and the
- 24:53Speaker 1: deal is really easy. You get cutting edge technology. Switching
- 24:57Speaker 1: has never been easier. There's no store visits no hassles.
- 25:01Speaker 1: You get to keep your same phone number you have
- 25:02Speaker 1: right now. You get to keep your same phone you've
- 25:04Speaker 1: got now, or upgrade to a new one. And they
- 25:07Speaker 1: have a one hundred percent US based team that can
- 25:09Speaker 1: activate you literally in minutes. The other thing that I
- 25:13Speaker 1: love about Patriot Mobile is this they have access to
- 25:16Speaker 1: all three major networks, meaning you get exceptional nationwide coverage.
- 25:21Speaker 3: I use Patriot Mobile and half for years.
- 25:24Speaker 1: They can even put a second number on a different
- 25:27Speaker 1: network on your phone.
- 25:29Speaker 3: It's like carrying two phones in one. You can have
- 25:32Speaker 3: a work number and a personal number. It's amazing.
- 25:35Speaker 1: They have unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, Internet
- 25:40Speaker 1: on the go devices, and home internet backup as well.
- 25:44Speaker 1: You can get all of this from Patriot Mobile. So
- 25:48Speaker 1: why are you waiting? Make the switch today? And by
- 25:51Speaker 1: the way, when you pay your bill, you know that
- 25:53Speaker 1: about five percent of that bill every month is going
- 25:56Speaker 1: back to support conservative causes. Causes that stand for a
- 25:59Speaker 1: First or Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children.
- 26:03Speaker 1: And they stand with our veterans, our first responders, our
- 26:07Speaker 1: police and firemen, are EMTs, and our wounded warriors. So
- 26:10Speaker 1: make a difference with every call you make so right now,
- 26:14Speaker 1: go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or call them
- 26:19Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot. You're gonna get a
- 26:22Speaker 1: free month of service with the promo code Ferguson. So
- 26:25Speaker 1: switch to Patriot Mobile and make a difference with every
- 26:27Speaker 1: call you make Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson or
- 26:32Speaker 1: nine seven to two Patriot. One of the things I
- 26:35Speaker 1: love about doing the show Center is moments after this
- 26:39Speaker 1: attack took place Israel on Iran, you were actually on
- 26:43Speaker 1: the phone with the ambassador from Israel. What did he
- 26:46Speaker 1: tell you about this attack? How long had they been
- 26:49Speaker 1: planning this? What was the final decision that made this
- 26:52Speaker 1: happen in the last several hours.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Well, understand, this show happens real time. It happens real
- 26:59Speaker 4: time and life. You and I are recording this early
- 27:02Speaker 4: in the morning Friday morning. This podcast will come out
- 27:05Speaker 4: later in the day on Friday, So some of you
- 27:07Speaker 4: will be listening to this on Friday, others of you
- 27:09Speaker 4: will be hearing this on radio on Saturday or Sunday.
- 27:12Speaker 4: And so the world may have changed forty eight hours.
- 27:15Speaker 4: At the time. When a war is initiating, it is
- 27:19Speaker 4: a mountain of time. What I can tell you is
- 27:22Speaker 4: late Thursday night, as Israel was launching it its attacks,
- 27:26Speaker 4: before Iran has engaged in a counterattack, I was on
- 27:31Speaker 4: the phone with the Israeli ambassador of the United States
- 27:34Speaker 4: and he told me that the attack, at least so far,
- 27:38Speaker 4: had gone extraordinarily well, that they'd taken out senior leadership
- 27:41Speaker 4: of the IRGC. And I got to say, by the way,
- 27:44Speaker 4: that's a huge victory for the United States of America.
- 27:47Speaker 4: The IRGC has murdered over six hundred American servicemen and women.
- 27:54Speaker 4: They are grotesquely hostile to the United States, and for
- 27:58Speaker 4: Israel to take them out enormous benefit to America. But
- 28:02Speaker 4: at the same time, the Israeli ambassador told me that
- 28:06Speaker 4: the instruction had gone out in Israel to the people
- 28:09Speaker 4: of Israel go to a bomb shelter, either be in
- 28:12Speaker 4: a bomb shelter or be very near a bomb shelter,
- 28:15Speaker 4: because they are anticipating early in the morning Friday morning,
- 28:20Speaker 4: that Iran is going to launch a massive counter attack
- 28:24Speaker 4: with ballistic weapons. And Israel has extensive anti missile defenses,
- 28:31Speaker 4: but Iran has sufficient volume that if they launch everything,
- 28:34Speaker 4: they have the capacity to overwhelm the defenses, and so
- 28:38Speaker 4: there is a very real possibility. The people of Israel
- 28:40Speaker 4: are braced. They understand. Look, look, they're not playing they're
- 28:45Speaker 4: not playing games that they are playing with real stakes.
- 28:49Speaker 4: They're playing with live rounds. The people of Israel understand
- 28:53Speaker 4: right now, as you and I are recording this, that
- 28:56Speaker 4: we may see Israeli's die right now, because Iran has
- 28:59Speaker 4: enough missiles that if they launched them all there will
- 29:03Speaker 4: be Israeli's murdered in the minutes and hours ahead of us.
- 29:08Speaker 4: But at the same time, Prime Minister Netanyah, who made
- 29:11Speaker 4: the decision, it's a decision I agree with. It's a
- 29:13Speaker 4: decision that I think was right. Which is the risk
- 29:18Speaker 4: of Israelis dying and of Americans dying if Iran acquires
- 29:23Speaker 4: a nuclear weapon is qualitatively different that we could face.
- 29:28Speaker 4: With an Iranian nuclear weapon, we could face millions murdered.
- 29:33Speaker 4: And so listen, I want to underscore what I said
- 29:37Speaker 4: at the beginning of this podcast. Pray for the people
- 29:39Speaker 4: of Israel and pray for our servicemen and women in
- 29:42Speaker 4: har harm's way, because this is a very very dangerous
- 29:45Speaker 4: time right now.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about who is targeted and what this
- 29:49Speaker 1: looks like moving forward from the standpoint of Israel. I mean,
- 29:53Speaker 1: the objective here is clearly to put them back when
- 29:56Speaker 1: it comes to their nuclear program. But they also went
- 29:58Speaker 1: after people that were involved in that program, which is
- 30:01Speaker 1: a really big way to move things backwards.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Look, this was a decapitation strike. It was targeted the
- 30:08Speaker 4: senior military leaders in Iran. It was targeted at the
- 30:12Speaker 4: nuclear facilities in Iran. It was targeted at the anti
- 30:17Speaker 4: air assault facilities in Iran. It was a very targeted
- 30:22Speaker 4: but massively effective strike. Now Iran is going to strike back.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Understand that that that's not a possibility or a probability.
- 30:32Speaker 4: It is a certainty that Iran will hit back. Now,
- 30:35Speaker 4: what I hope Iran understands is they should not hit
- 30:38Speaker 4: back at America. Hitting back at America would escalate this dramatically.
- 30:43Speaker 4: And I will say the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio,
- 30:47Speaker 4: he put out a statement Thursday night. Let me read
- 30:49Speaker 4: his statement. Quote tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran.
- 30:56Speaker 4: We were not involved in strikes against Iran, and our
- 30:59Speaker 4: top priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel
- 31:04Speaker 4: advised us that they believe this action was necessary for
- 31:07Speaker 4: its self defense. President Trump and the administration have taken
- 31:11Speaker 4: all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in
- 31:15Speaker 4: close contact with our regional partners. Let me be clear,
- 31:20Speaker 4: Iran should not target US interests or personnel. Now, look,
- 31:26Speaker 4: I'm glad that the Secretary of State was putting out
- 31:29Speaker 4: that statement defending our servicemen and women. I wish there
- 31:33Speaker 4: had been more in that statement saying we stand with Israel.
- 31:35Speaker 4: That was missing from the statement, and it shouldn't have been.
- 31:40Speaker 4: From my perspective, we stand unequivocally with Israel. But I
- 31:43Speaker 4: understand why the Secretary of State didn't do that, which
- 31:48Speaker 4: is that he's concerned that Iran may strike at US
- 31:52Speaker 4: military forces. Now, in my view, the way to prevent
- 31:56Speaker 4: that is not to say to Iran, hey, we had
- 31:58Speaker 4: nothing to do with That was the main theme of
- 32:02Speaker 4: the Secretary of State's statement, but rather to say, if
- 32:07Speaker 4: you attack US forces, the consequences will be overwhelming. I
- 32:11Speaker 4: think Iran responds more to stick than the carrot. But
- 32:17Speaker 4: we shall see. And it is any way you look
- 32:20Speaker 4: at it, on unbelievably dangerous time.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Senator, let's talk about some of the people that have
- 32:25Speaker 1: been taken out here. There's two aspects of these strikes. One,
- 32:29Speaker 1: nuclear scientists are being reported that they were targeted and
- 32:32Speaker 1: have been killed, and that is the brains of the
- 32:35Speaker 1: nuclear program. If you want to stop Iran from doing this,
- 32:39Speaker 1: taking out new nuclear scientists is absolutely brilliant. It's the
- 32:43Speaker 1: computer system, the nervous system of everything they're trying to accomplish.
- 32:47Speaker 1: That's incredible. But we also now know from virtually every
- 32:51Speaker 1: news agency is reporting this that the IRGC tear chief Salami,
- 32:56Speaker 1: has also been eliminated.
- 32:58Speaker 3: That is significant as well.
- 33:00Speaker 4: Well. We now know that Hussein Salami is lunch meat
- 33:04Speaker 4: and I feel a little cheesy making fun of him,
- 33:08Speaker 4: but then again, the guy is a racist, genocidal, homicidal lunatic.
- 33:16Speaker 4: So I hope after Salami, Beloni and Pastrami both get
- 33:20Speaker 4: eliminated as well. And if you look at the head
- 33:24Speaker 4: of the IRGC, he has responsibility for murdering over six
- 33:30Speaker 4: hundred US servicemen and women. So if you love the
- 33:35Speaker 4: men and women of the Armed Services, if you are
- 33:37Speaker 4: grateful for friends, family, loved ones who served defending this nation,
- 33:43Speaker 4: then you ought to say tonight to the nation of Israel,
- 33:46Speaker 4: thank you, thank you for taking out the head of
- 33:48Speaker 4: the IRGC that is responsible for murdering hundreds of American
- 33:53Speaker 4: servicemen and women. President Trump when he was president the
- 33:56Speaker 4: first time, he took out General Solimani, and now today
- 34:01Speaker 4: the Israelis have taken out Salami, a successor who is
- 34:06Speaker 4: the terror chief of the IRGC, and he is now
- 34:11Speaker 4: with his seventy two versions, so that, I will tell you,
- 34:13Speaker 4: much to his dismay, those virgins are all Gomer Pyle
- 34:17Speaker 4: and it's not what he hoped for.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I got to say.
- 34:19Speaker 1: One of the best parts about this story just side note,
- 34:21Speaker 1: if you look up Insallami on his pages on the Wikipedia,
- 34:27Speaker 1: it already says he's like the former guy in charge
- 34:30Speaker 1: of the IRGC. I love the Internet when they get
- 34:33Speaker 1: it right really quickly. Center. It is amazing to see
- 34:36Speaker 1: this moment in history, because this is a moment in history.
- 34:39Speaker 1: And I got to ask you this, Aran now is
- 34:42Speaker 1: going to respond. I'm sure in some way. I'm sure
- 34:45Speaker 1: Israel is expecting that you made it very clear to
- 34:48Speaker 1: night America's warning and from this administration, what happens next
- 34:54Speaker 1: and what is Israel expecting in your mind.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Well, it depends on the escalation. I think it is
- 35:01Speaker 4: one hundred percent certain that Iran will respond by firing
- 35:04Speaker 4: missiles at Israel. Israel gets that, they understand that they're
- 35:08Speaker 4: ready for that. There is some real possibility that Iran
- 35:13Speaker 4: will respond by firing missiles or other weapons at Americans.
- 35:17Speaker 4: And I think if they do that, they will dramatically
- 35:20Speaker 4: escalate this conflict. I think they will provoke. If they
- 35:23Speaker 4: murder American servicemen and women, I think you will see
- 35:26Speaker 4: President Trump respond with devastating force. And so again my
- 35:30Speaker 4: message to the Iatolas, do not do that their response
- 35:34Speaker 4: to Israel. I don't know what it will be. There
- 35:37Speaker 4: is a risk that their response is devastating, that it
- 35:40Speaker 4: is overwhelming. They have a massive number of ballistic missiles,
- 35:45Speaker 4: so if they fire them, all the odds are significant
- 35:48Speaker 4: that we will see a very large number of Israelis murdered.
- 35:52Speaker 4: What I'm saying, Prime Minister net Yahoo understands. He knows that.
- 35:56Speaker 4: He knows that, but by virtue of engaging this attack tonight,
- 36:00Speaker 4: there's a real risk of a significant number of Israelis
- 36:03Speaker 4: being murdered. But he did this because he knows that
- 36:07Speaker 4: if Iran has a nuclear weapon, many many more Israelis
- 36:12Speaker 4: and many many more Americans are at risk of being murdered.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Look the Iatola chance death to America and death to Israel.
- 36:19Speaker 4: I believe he believes that, and so acquiring a nuclear
- 36:24Speaker 4: weapon is not just an academic question. If he gets
- 36:26Speaker 4: a nuclear weapon, I believe he is trying to acquire
- 36:29Speaker 4: one because he wants to carry out his promises of
- 36:33Speaker 4: death to Israel and death to America. And that's precisely
- 36:36Speaker 4: why Israel has launched this attack, to stop him from
- 36:39Speaker 4: getting that capability.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I also center want to play for you what the
- 36:44Speaker 1: Israeli ambassador the United Nations had to say on CNN earlier.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Here is what he had to say when he was
- 36:49Speaker 1: asked a couple of different questions about this strike.
- 36:52Speaker 5: Also joining me is Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations,
- 36:55Speaker 5: Danny Denone. And Ambassador, it's great to have you here, sir.
- 36:58Speaker 5: Just first on the strike that we were seeing plays
- 37:00Speaker 5: ou tonight and what this means should we now consider
- 37:03Speaker 5: is real to be at war with Iran?
- 37:06Speaker 6: And I was very clear, we took a preemptive attack
- 37:09Speaker 6: to defense ourselves, to defend ourselves, and we are targeting
- 37:13Speaker 6: the nuclear facilities and the ballistic mission centers in Iran.
- 37:19Speaker 6: So We don't go into declarations. Now, we take actions.
- 37:22Speaker 6: We decided not to wait for Iran to attack us
- 37:25Speaker 6: with nuclear capabilities. We knew that they were plotting to
- 37:30Speaker 6: do that, and while they were talking with many countries
- 37:33Speaker 6: and negotiating, they moved secretly with a military plan to
- 37:37Speaker 6: attack as well. And what we did was an act
- 37:40Speaker 6: of self defense. And we have abilities, you know, okay,
- 37:43Speaker 6: clean eighty years ago, when Auschwitz was liberated, we required
- 37:47Speaker 6: the support of the allies to protect our people. But
- 37:50Speaker 6: today we have our own state, our own military, our
- 37:54Speaker 6: own air force, and today we are protecting ourselves from
- 37:57Speaker 6: another holocaust.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Are much wider than the preemptive strikes based on what
- 38:02Speaker 5: we've seen so far, especially in terms of targeting around
- 38:06Speaker 5: top military leaders as well as senior nuclear scientists, kind
- 38:09Speaker 5: of a mass based on what we have heard, do
- 38:12Speaker 5: you know how many of those top military leaders and
- 38:15Speaker 5: nuclear scientists and run the strikes against the more successful,
- 38:19Speaker 5: How many of them have been eliminated tonight?
- 38:21Speaker 6: No, I cannot go into those details, but I can
- 38:23Speaker 6: tell you one thing. Those people who were involved in
- 38:27Speaker 6: the nuclear production, those who were putting together the ballistic missiles,
- 38:33Speaker 6: there are targets. They are part of the machine that
- 38:35Speaker 6: threatened as well in other countries in the world. You know,
- 38:38Speaker 6: if you look back at attack that if well took,
- 38:41Speaker 6: whether it was against the Iraqi or see yeah, we
- 38:44Speaker 6: try to develop a nuclear reactors. I think today everybody
- 38:47Speaker 6: can thank it well for those actions. So maybe today
- 38:51Speaker 6: some people are not sure about why we're doing it today,
- 38:54Speaker 6: but down the world a few years from today, the
- 38:57Speaker 6: world will thank it well for the actually we took todaight.
- 39:01Speaker 1: The world will think Israel for the actions taking tonight.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Is that the big takeaway from all of this.
- 39:07Speaker 4: It should be. But understand that the pro Hamas radical
- 39:11Speaker 4: left in the Democrat Party is cheering on exactly the
- 39:15Speaker 4: opposite side. So Ben Rhodes, many of you all listening
- 39:19Speaker 4: know who Ben Roads is. Ben Rhodes was a top
- 39:22Speaker 4: national security official in the Barack Obama National Security Council.
- 39:26Speaker 4: He is the lead architect of the Obama Iran nuclear deal.
- 39:32Speaker 4: He is a hardcore leftist and tonight he's miserable. So
- 39:37Speaker 4: Ben Rhodes. Late Thursday night, he tweeted out, quote, this
- 39:41Speaker 4: is all so unnecessary, all of it everywhere. Understand when
- 39:48Speaker 4: Israel attacks Iran to take out the nuclear capacities. Ben Rhodes,
- 39:53Speaker 4: the leading national security official for Barack Obama, is I
- 39:57Speaker 4: think Ben is in tears right now. And listen, the
- 40:01Speaker 4: Iran nuclear deal under Obama was a disaster. Under Joe Biden,
- 40:06Speaker 4: their top foreign policy objective was to have another Iran
- 40:09Speaker 4: nuclear deal. The only thing that stopped it is Iran
- 40:12Speaker 4: was so unreasonable they would not accept it. And there
- 40:17Speaker 4: are so many in the Democrat Party right now that
- 40:21Speaker 4: are cheering for Iran. I'll tell you what I'm cheering
- 40:24Speaker 4: for America, dammit, and I'm cheering for Israel and people
- 40:28Speaker 4: who are theocratic lunatics who say they want to murder us.
- 40:32Speaker 4: I am not dismayed that we are seeing a military
- 40:35Speaker 4: force stand up and take them out, and in particular,
- 40:38Speaker 4: take out their nuclear capacity. That is critically important. We
- 40:43Speaker 4: do not want people who want to murder us to
- 40:47Speaker 4: have the tools to do so. And I think Israel's
- 40:51Speaker 4: attack did enormous benefit to America.
- 40:54Speaker 1: You mentioned taking away their tools, and one of their
- 40:57Speaker 1: tools was going after their scientists. I mean, this is
- 41:00Speaker 1: the brains behind everything. This took a lot of planning
- 41:04Speaker 1: and apparently it was incredibly successful as well. I mean,
- 41:07Speaker 1: this is taking out their nervous system of the computer system,
- 41:12Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it, for their nuclear program
- 41:15Speaker 1: by going after the scientists. It's absolutely brilliant, and they
- 41:18Speaker 1: pulled it off.
- 41:19Speaker 2: They did.
- 41:20Speaker 4: It was executed with amazing precision. Now it's early. Look,
- 41:24Speaker 4: you and I are both talking early in the morning,
- 41:27Speaker 4: Friday morning. It is possible that that problems developed later Friday,
- 41:32Speaker 4: later Saturday, later Sunday. One of the challenges of doing
- 41:35Speaker 4: a show like this at the beginning of military conflict
- 41:39Speaker 4: is you don't know how things will shake out. But
- 41:41Speaker 4: I will say this, so Benjamin Netanya who is a
- 41:43Speaker 4: strong conservative, One of his predecessors as Israeli Prime minister
- 41:48Speaker 4: was Enough Tolly Bennett. Now enough Tolly had been previously Netanyah,
- 41:53Speaker 4: who's chief of staff. But then but then Bennett broke
- 41:59Speaker 4: with nen Yahoo and ended up becoming prime minister himself
- 42:04Speaker 4: in significant part by opposing nen Nyahu. But I want
- 42:07Speaker 4: you to listen to this clip of former Israeli Prime
- 42:11Speaker 4: minister and nough Tlly Bennett talking about what this is
- 42:14Speaker 4: all about. Give a listen.
- 42:16Speaker 7: Well, the Israeli had a siren across the country indicating
- 42:21Speaker 7: that Israel's air force is conducting a prempt to strike
- 42:26Speaker 7: against Iran's military facilities and perhaps also the nuclear facilities.
- 42:33Speaker 7: I want to remind you that Iran's about a week
- 42:36Speaker 7: away from being able to obtain the amount of enriched
- 42:41Speaker 7: uranium for ten bombs. So this is not me saying,
- 42:46Speaker 7: this is the international nuclear community and the goal ultimately
- 42:54Speaker 7: will be to remove the nuclear.
- 42:56Speaker 8: Threat from the Middle East. And sitting the head of
- 42:59Speaker 8: the octaple of Terra that should have been causing all
- 43:02Speaker 8: of the mess we've seen over the past couple of
- 43:05Speaker 8: years in the region, I mean, there it is.
- 43:10Speaker 4: And I will say when today's Democrats in the Senate
- 43:14Speaker 4: and House are to the left of that are saying
- 43:17Speaker 4: do not attack Iran, and we're going to see I'm
- 43:20Speaker 4: going to make a prediction in the hours and days ahead,
- 43:24Speaker 4: We're going to see a massive rise in the attacks
- 43:26Speaker 4: from the anti Semitic left. And the anti Semitic left
- 43:29Speaker 4: is growing bigger and bigger, and so those who hate
- 43:32Speaker 4: Israel will be really vocal, and unfortunately there's also a
- 43:35Speaker 4: contingent on the anti Semitic right. The anti Semitic right
- 43:38Speaker 4: is smaller than the left, but both of them are
- 43:41Speaker 4: absolutely wrong, and you're going to see online people say
- 43:46Speaker 4: the Israelis are dragging us into war. I'm here to
- 43:49Speaker 4: tell you the Israelis are acting to prevent war, to
- 43:53Speaker 4: prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons, and those nuclear weapons
- 43:57Speaker 4: could well be used to murder millions of Israelis or
- 44:01Speaker 4: millions of Americans. And so Israel is acting in self defense.
- 44:07Speaker 4: And and I want to be clear, America stands with Israel.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Don't forget.
