- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, come on dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o man o,
- 2:14Speaker 1: man Hey, you know to date, I just want to
- 2:20Speaker 1: say something, UM that I don't think I've ever shared
- 2:25Speaker 1: this way before. UM. The title is very simple, and
- 2:35Speaker 1: that is it's been worth it to me? You know.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I just I just kept thinking that this morning, that
- 2:46Speaker 1: it's all been worth it to me. And what I
- 2:50Speaker 1: mean by that is this relationship that I have with
- 2:55Speaker 1: my heavenly father, it's been worth it to me. I
- 3:02Speaker 1: can't even tell you the value that it has had
- 3:07Speaker 1: in my life. I can't tell you how it's helped
- 3:14Speaker 1: me to understand not only my purpose, but to better
- 3:20Speaker 1: understand my past. That's that's that's critical, man, because I'm
- 3:28Speaker 1: grateful for that, because so many people can't get beyond
- 3:32Speaker 1: their past and event a set of circumstances, some calamity
- 3:38Speaker 1: that been sets them. Maybe it's been grief something, but
- 3:41Speaker 1: it ties so many people up. It's been so worth
- 3:46Speaker 1: it to me it, man, it's it's been worth having
- 3:55Speaker 1: someone to go to when no one else was there.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Do you do you understand what I'm saying. It has
- 4:05Speaker 1: It has given me a place to go when no
- 4:09Speaker 1: one else has been there. Oh, hey man, we're pulling
- 4:15Speaker 1: for you. Hey man, hanging there, Hey man, keep your
- 4:18Speaker 1: head up, all of that. But I gotta tell you, man,
- 4:24Speaker 1: you get yourself in some circumstances and situations in this
- 4:27Speaker 1: thing called life when no one can help you but God,
- 4:31Speaker 1: When the only person that could possibly understand or know
- 4:35Speaker 1: what you're feeling is God. The only person that I'll
- 4:39Speaker 1: sit there with you through it all and understand everything
- 4:42Speaker 1: about it has been God. It's been worth it to me, man,
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's it's been worth it to me. It's been the
- 4:55Speaker 1: biggest improvement in my life. I mean, man, as I
- 4:59Speaker 1: look back over my life and forming a strong bond
- 5:04Speaker 1: with God has been the most beneficial thing to me.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You know these things you read in your in your
- 5:13Speaker 1: your in writings in the Bible or or whatever you're reading.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You know when you when you read scriptures and things
- 5:20Speaker 1: of that nature. It it's it's been around a long time.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It holds so much truth to it. I mean, man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: it's like, how could this have been written so long
- 5:34Speaker 1: ago and still pertain directly to today? I mean that
- 5:41Speaker 1: that's amazing. That is amazing to me that. I mean,
- 5:46Speaker 1: that has to be God at work to have written
- 5:50Speaker 1: something so complete, so dead on point that if you
- 5:57Speaker 1: read it today it means exactly what pertains to today.
- 6:05Speaker 1: That's amazing, man. That's why, my my spiritual walker, it's
- 6:12Speaker 1: just worth it to me. And I keep saying it's
- 6:15Speaker 1: worth it, because if you're sitting out there and you're
- 6:18Speaker 1: tripping like I was tripping, deciding, now let me do it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I got a few more things I want to do,
- 6:23Speaker 1: a couple more girls I want to hill at, couple
- 6:26Speaker 1: more things I want to get into. I got a
- 6:28Speaker 1: couple more deals I want to do. I got a
- 6:29Speaker 1: little bit more dirt. I want to roll up on
- 6:31Speaker 1: me a little bit. First for I, man, I wish
- 6:34Speaker 1: I had known. I really wish I had understood exactly
- 6:38Speaker 1: what forming a relationship with God would do for me.
- 6:43Speaker 1: It's been worth every person who out there who hate
- 6:48Speaker 1: on me, that don't even know me, it's because I
- 6:52Speaker 1: have a relationship with Him that I'm fine with that,
- 6:55Speaker 1: or I don't care for it. But it ain't gonna
- 6:58Speaker 1: stop me though, because I know for a fact that
- 7:04Speaker 1: haters make you greater. I know for a fact that
- 7:08Speaker 1: haters validate your mere existence. I know for a fact
- 7:13Speaker 1: that half of them is out of envy and jealousy
- 7:17Speaker 1: because of something you're doing that they wish they could
- 7:20Speaker 1: do or they won't credit for, so they just now
- 7:25Speaker 1: anything all that bam, and now you just all over
- 7:28Speaker 1: the place with people. Man, I'm so grateful for this
- 7:32Speaker 1: relationship that it has not allowed outside influences that do
- 7:37Speaker 1: not have my best interests at hard to throw me off. Course,
- 7:43Speaker 1: it has just been worth it. And if you're sitting
- 7:46Speaker 1: out there and you're wondering about the benefits of it,
- 7:50Speaker 1: I can't even tell you what it's like to know
- 7:54Speaker 1: that when bad things are happening to me, the calming
- 7:58Speaker 1: piece that I feel that I know that that's gonna
- 8:01Speaker 1: be all right too, that I know that this tool
- 8:05Speaker 1: shall pass. That I know in my heart of hearts, man,
- 8:10Speaker 1: that there's got to be a reason for this. And
- 8:12Speaker 1: if I can just hang on in there, he gonna
- 8:14Speaker 1: unfold that from me and he gonna let me see it.
- 8:17Speaker 1: But the number one thing I always know is I'm
- 8:20Speaker 1: gonna survive this one too, that this tool shall pass.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It has been worth it to me, man, to have
- 8:28Speaker 1: this thing called faith, which is the belief in things
- 8:31Speaker 1: that you cannot see, and to know man along the
- 8:34Speaker 1: way that, oh, my goodness, man, even though I don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: know what's next, or even I'm not really sure about
- 8:41Speaker 1: the next step, I do know for a fact that
- 8:44Speaker 1: some mooe is coming. I do know for a fact.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It is a fact that God will take care of me.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It is a fact that He will never ever leave
- 8:56Speaker 1: me or desert me. If I just stay here while
- 8:59Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be. He's coming. The cavalry's coming over
- 9:04Speaker 1: the hill. He coming over the hill, And when he
- 9:06Speaker 1: come over that hill, he gonna wipe out all this
- 9:08Speaker 1: mess down here. That's that's trying to hurt me, that
- 9:11Speaker 1: that I don't have to worry about my enemies anymore.
- 9:15Speaker 1: That my enemies that are all around you can surround me.
- 9:20Speaker 1: You could shoot all the arrows you want. That's not
- 9:23Speaker 1: to say that none of them ain't gonna come close.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And I ain't gonna say that. You know, I ain't
- 9:29Speaker 1: gonna be a little under some pressure, a little nervous
- 9:32Speaker 1: about being shot at so hard. But at the end
- 9:34Speaker 1: of the day, I know this for show. Ain't none
- 9:37Speaker 1: of them gonna stick in me. You could shoot them,
- 9:39Speaker 1: but ain't none of them gonna stick in me. No
- 9:42Speaker 1: matter what you do, no weapon formed against me, nothing
- 9:50Speaker 1: you can't. You can't do nothing with me. Man, I'm
- 9:53Speaker 1: so cool. It's been worth it for me. Man, you're listening. Ladies, gentlemen,
- 10:04Speaker 1: let me have your undivided attention. Please. It is now
- 10:08Speaker 1: time to commence with the baddest radio show on earth

- 22:07Speaker 1: been up for it the title. I wasn't fitting to
- 22:14Speaker 1: be nowhere near that though. They didn't even let me
- 22:18Speaker 1: graduate in the front. So it's very few attractive men
- 22:23Speaker 1: that become that high level are smart. Now a lot
- 22:29Speaker 1: of women can do it. And so what didn't happened
- 22:31Speaker 1: to you? Bro? Is you marriage material? But you're not popular?
- 22:36Speaker 1: She don't. She ain't really flouncing with you in front
- 22:38Speaker 1: of nobody because you are nerved. But just accept his role.
- 22:42Speaker 1: You're being used, you're smart, you probably help her with
- 22:46Speaker 1: a schoolwork, and you're being used for your body and
- 22:51Speaker 1: don't that's that's it. Yeah, But is flouncing a word? Well,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I my mom used to tell me that all the time,
- 23:03Speaker 1: fling is you checking me? Now? I was just talking
- 23:10Speaker 1: to the ladies asking them with flower, saying flowncing me
- 23:14Speaker 1: you won't flouncing the word yes, ignorant. Let's get to
- 23:19Speaker 1: Raven in Dover, Delaware, Clo. She says, my best friend
- 23:23Speaker 1: in and I are in our early thirties. I am single,
- 23:26Speaker 1: and she just got divorced. Since her divorce, she loves
- 23:30Speaker 1: to go out and get sloppy drunk and have sex
- 23:32Speaker 1: with old friends or co workers and a few one
- 23:35Speaker 1: night stands here and there. I hate to see herself
- 23:38Speaker 1: destruct like this. One of our close male friends told
- 23:41Speaker 1: me that I will be judged by the company I
- 23:44Speaker 1: keep because birds have a feather flock together, Uncle Steve,
- 23:47Speaker 1: Is this true? Will guys think that I'm a drunk
- 23:50Speaker 1: and an easy lay if I keep hanging with her? Well? Yeah,
- 23:54Speaker 1: I mean he told you right. That's how guys do it,
- 23:57Speaker 1: y'all together. You wit all the time. You must prove
- 24:00Speaker 1: of this lifestyle and behavior. So yeah, quite naturally, even
- 24:04Speaker 1: though it may be so opposite from from the truth,
- 24:08Speaker 1: but the assumption it's going to be okay. All right,
- 24:15Speaker 1: spend a little bit more time with this one. See
- 24:17Speaker 1: how we'll see what she want to do because your
- 24:19Speaker 1: girl just letting it go. Yeah, friends, one night stand? Yes, See,
- 24:27Speaker 1: that's why I like married men can't go out with
- 24:29Speaker 1: single men because your wife eventually gonna ask you about
- 24:33Speaker 1: something he did, because she's gonna see her here something crazy,
- 24:36Speaker 1: birds of fleather flock together. The association brings on participation
- 24:39Speaker 1: will be applied to you. Now that doesn't make it true,
- 24:42Speaker 1: but it will be applied. Yeah, so she should stop
- 24:46Speaker 1: bring her being her friend or just hanging out with her. Well,
- 24:49Speaker 1: you ain't gonna stop being her friend. But you can't
- 24:52Speaker 1: take all your friends everywhere. Now you have to categorize
- 24:56Speaker 1: your friends. Ye see, some of my friends. I can
- 25:00Speaker 1: go watch a baseball game with him. I got some friends,
- 25:04Speaker 1: but I got friends I can't take around none of
- 25:09Speaker 1: my jobs, not even this one. It's the fun job. Yeah,
- 25:18Speaker 1: a loose one, Yeah, a crazy one. There's some friends
- 25:21Speaker 1: of mine that can't come around Shirley. You know, yeah,
- 25:25Speaker 1: everybody met a couple of my friends because I know.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I can't call it the met one because I know
- 25:31Speaker 1: caller hood. She'd be able to handle children. You ain't
- 25:36Speaker 1: handle it. So I don't bring him up around you
- 25:38Speaker 1: because you're gonna say something, your little prim proper ass
- 25:40Speaker 1: and then you oh, anyway, all right, so yes, so
- 25:46Speaker 1: just limit your your time and he is a g
- 25:49Speaker 1: Just yes, shout out O geez you real o. G
- 26:01Speaker 1: all right, Cello. This is from Jericho and Monroe, Louisiana.
- 26:04Speaker 1: She says, I'm a newlywed, twenty five year old woman
- 26:07Speaker 1: and I need your advice. My husband is very sensitive
- 26:11Speaker 1: and I can't stand at making love to him. During sex,
- 26:15Speaker 1: he whimpers softly. If it gets really good to him,
- 26:18Speaker 1: he cries, oh good. This is such a turn off.
- 26:25Speaker 1: A few times I stopped in the middle of sex
- 26:27Speaker 1: and asked him just to be quiet. When I asked
- 26:30Speaker 1: my therapist about it, she says, it's normal and some
- 26:33Speaker 1: men make macho noises and yell out, but my husband
- 26:36Speaker 1: is different and he makes softer noises. I prefer more
- 26:39Speaker 1: manly moaning. And I never ever want to see a
- 26:43Speaker 1: man crying after sex. How can I get it to stop? Oh? No,
- 26:47Speaker 1: I ain't. You just can't help every mad at him?
- 26:58Speaker 1: It's good? Good? What are you doing? Oh god? Man?
- 27:16Speaker 1: Shut up? Oh I've never heard of a dude doing
- 27:21Speaker 1: that before. I'm sorry, I just never have and I
- 27:24Speaker 1: can't help you. He didn't. He didn't cry for y'all
- 27:27Speaker 1: got married. Well did you say that for when you
- 27:31Speaker 1: got married? Yeah? They may have. They're only twenty five,
- 27:34Speaker 1: they're young. Yeah, what are you crying for? He says,
- 27:38Speaker 1: when she says, when it really gets good, all right,
- 27:41Speaker 1: we gotta move on though. You're listening, all right, Jay
- 27:48Speaker 1: Anthony Brown, it's time for something funny. Now you put
- 27:52Speaker 1: this together drying. I thought it might be cool that
- 27:54Speaker 1: we salute different types of workers. A lot of workers
- 27:58Speaker 1: listen to the show, cafeteria workers, doctors, beauticians. So the
- 28:03Speaker 1: day was gonna salute the people who work to drive
- 28:06Speaker 1: through and the stuff they hear. Okay, any day, all right?
- 28:12Speaker 1: For instance, let's go no need to cuss, sir. Breakfast
- 28:17Speaker 1: is over, okay, alright, because it's it's two a cloud, Sir,
- 28:27Speaker 1: wouldn't I serve breakfast anymore? Junior? This is something that
- 28:33Speaker 1: a live drive through workers go through that they have
- 28:36Speaker 1: day day, every day. Every day, Sir, you're gonna have
- 28:39Speaker 1: to get that muffler fixed so I can hear you.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I can't get this all in if you don't get
- 28:45Speaker 1: the muffler fixed every day, sir, I cannot tell you
- 28:54Speaker 1: two nuggets by themselves. We sell them in ten twelve.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Come on, now, I can't just get your two nuggets.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I can't do that, man, sir did you read your
- 29:10Speaker 1: order on the screen? It's so the screen. We're dealing
- 29:19Speaker 1: with drive through workers. What they have to hear every

- 30:05Speaker 1: can't give you thirty extra napkins so you can change
- 30:08Speaker 1: your baby, Dick. I can't do it. I can't do that. Man,

- 30:34Speaker 1: stopped the mac rib They just stopped it. Yeah. Yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 1: we're not selling its limit. That's what it means, sir, sir,
- 30:51Speaker 1: Why you ain't coming if your window don't work. Why
- 30:56Speaker 1: you just come in here? How come you just didn't
- 31:01Speaker 1: come here? You can't, you can't get the window down.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Drive through workers, we feel your fame. We're dealing with

- 43:36Speaker 1: people passed away. I thank you for that, man. It
- 43:41Speaker 1: was kind of expected, so you know it wasn't something
- 43:45Speaker 1: that caught us off guard. But you know, but all
- 43:48Speaker 1: in all, you know, we're still grieving about losing our
- 43:51Speaker 1: loved ones. But but I wanted to give you all
- 43:53Speaker 1: a call. We're trying to um pick a particular funeral
- 43:57Speaker 1: home on who we want to um take care of

- 44:45Speaker 1: gloss coating. We have a couple of ours. Yeah, I
- 44:48Speaker 1: don't I don't need that all, no goal or nothing
- 44:50Speaker 1: like that. Listen, listen, what I want to do, is
- 44:54Speaker 1: it any way that you could maybe customize a casket
- 44:58Speaker 1: that can accommodate three people? Um uh, yes, like we
- 45:04Speaker 1: we can. We can customize each individual casket for each individual,
- 45:10Speaker 1: no family, no, no, Calvin, I didn't want to ask.
- 45:13Speaker 1: What I'm saying is if I want to like like
- 45:15Speaker 1: I like I said, deep my could they was all close?
- 45:18Speaker 1: You know, I don't have a problem with all three
- 45:21Speaker 1: of them being in the same casket. I get you,
- 45:25Speaker 1: um uh to you know, to my knowledge is as
- 45:29Speaker 1: far as I've been in this business, I've never uh,
- 45:33Speaker 1: I'm not really sure we can actually do that. I mean,
- 45:35Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, but what's the problem if we
- 45:38Speaker 1: can get them all in there and well served? I mean,
- 45:42Speaker 1: I think that's a I don't even think if for one,
- 45:45Speaker 1: it's legal in this state or any state three people
- 45:49Speaker 1: in one casket, um and ethics wise, I uh, that's
- 45:54Speaker 1: not really something that how can I say that we
- 45:58Speaker 1: actually you know, put but if you customizing a casket, Calvin,
- 46:02Speaker 1: then you ought to be able to put as many
- 46:04Speaker 1: people in there, if you make it deep enough and
- 46:06Speaker 1: wide enough. I ought to be able to get three
- 46:08Speaker 1: people in there, right. Well, the customization is is the
- 46:13Speaker 1: outer side of the casket. And maybe you know, some
- 46:16Speaker 1: people even put TV screens on the inside, or some
- 46:20Speaker 1: of their their their loved ones, memorable mementos. We customize
- 46:26Speaker 1: it for that, you know, colorwise. So what about when
- 46:30Speaker 1: when is a person real big h you know, a
- 46:33Speaker 1: heaving said person. You know you got to have a
- 46:35Speaker 1: casket that can accommodate them, right, yes, but okay, so
- 46:40Speaker 1: so you ought to be able to put you ought
- 46:41Speaker 1: to be able to put three people in one casket
- 46:43Speaker 1: if they can fit. If you put two one way
- 46:47Speaker 1: in one the other other way, then you ought to
- 46:49Speaker 1: be able to have all three of them in there
- 46:50Speaker 1: at one time. Um, is there anybody else around you
- 46:54Speaker 1: and your family that can help talk with me about this?
- 46:58Speaker 1: I'm talking right now. I'm trying to get I'm trying
- 47:01Speaker 1: to accommodate my cousins and get them straight. And I'm
- 47:03Speaker 1: asking you can we get them in a casket that
- 47:06Speaker 1: one casket that can accommodate three people. If you put
- 47:09Speaker 1: two pillars on money in one pillars, that's not something
- 47:13Speaker 1: we're really that ain't just used to doing, Calvin, But
- 47:18Speaker 1: I'm calling you telling you that's the way I want
- 47:20Speaker 1: this customize man, Right, brother, Look, brother, brother, just just
- 47:23Speaker 1: chill out with customs all right, So we're trying to
- 47:26Speaker 1: get three people. I have a standard plan, it'll be
- 47:30Speaker 1: a low end standard plan for three individual caskets. We
- 47:36Speaker 1: ain't gotta we all have enough money for three individual caskets.
- 47:41Speaker 1: I keep telling you that we got room for one casket.
- 47:44Speaker 1: We just need to big enough, man, so you could
- 47:47Speaker 1: get everybody in. Then close the dope. I'm not, I'm not.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I don't want to go back and forth with you, sir.
- 47:52Speaker 1: I know this is a time. Then go. You ain't
- 47:55Speaker 1: gotta go back and forth with me. Building to our knees.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I can bear my family. It's I don't really know
- 48:01Speaker 1: what to tell you, sir, but I'm just really trying
- 48:03Speaker 1: to help. I'm trying. Won't you tell me you're gonna
- 48:05Speaker 1: get three people in the casket looking good. We cannot
- 48:09Speaker 1: do that. You houting that. Man, I'm the one going
- 48:12Speaker 1: through bereathing. I understand that. But you are you're, you're,
- 48:16Speaker 1: you're use the foul language. We can't do it, brother,
- 48:19Speaker 1: you hear me not, that's no hold on my cousin
- 48:24Speaker 1: them said they wanted to do you. No, sir, No, okay,
- 48:29Speaker 1: look I'm look may man, y'all gonna bury these three
- 48:33Speaker 1: people and you're gonna put all three of them in
- 48:36Speaker 1: the same damn casket. Man, two two on one, one
- 48:39Speaker 1: on one end and one on the other one. Man, sir,
- 48:42Speaker 1: if you're drinking, just ain't nobody to let me tell
- 48:46Speaker 1: you something. Man, let me say this to you. Your
- 48:48Speaker 1: name Calvin, right, yes, yes, it is okay, So Calvin, Calvin,
- 48:52Speaker 1: let me say this to you. Either y'all gonna bury
- 48:55Speaker 1: my cousins the way I want it, or Calvin, you're
- 48:58Speaker 1: gonna get your are you talking to That's what's going now? Now,
- 49:03Speaker 1: now that's it, right there, sir. I've been trying to
- 49:05Speaker 1: be as professional as I can this whole conversation. It's
- 49:08Speaker 1: as crazy as it is. But now I ain't nothing
- 49:10Speaker 1: crazy about no, no, no, no no no. I told you
- 49:12Speaker 1: I want you to bury my cousin. Come on down here.
- 49:14Speaker 1: I got someplace to put your body and your cousin's body.
- 49:17Speaker 1: How about that? Huh yeah? Because you know you don't
- 49:22Speaker 1: you don't sound too damn confident. You don't sound too confident, Calvin,
- 49:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now. I'm gonna tell you
- 49:30Speaker 1: right now, this ain't the place and I'm not the
- 49:33Speaker 1: one you will be in the ground messing with us.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Matter of fact, if you come here, I'm you up.
- 49:39Speaker 1: How about that? Okay, Calvin, Okay, Calvin, let me tell
- 49:43Speaker 1: you something, Calvin, me and Tommy gonna be down there
- 49:45Speaker 1: to day. Then I'm bringing Tommy with me. Who's Tommy? Huh?
- 49:50Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Martin Show. Baby,
- 49:53Speaker 1: you just got prank? Calvin? Yo, y'all have me ready
- 49:59Speaker 1: to with hell? Y'all? I just want to know who
- 50:05Speaker 1: this Reginald that works to you? Yes, I'm I'm gonna
- 50:09Speaker 1: Reggie you bet watch with you drink you bet watch
- 50:12Speaker 1: with your team. I'm on your to revenge. Man, Hey,
- 50:17Speaker 1: cal forgive me this man. What's the baddest and I
- 50:19Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the land. Man, you
- 50:23Speaker 1: know it's nothing but the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all?
- 50:25Speaker 1: Y'all got got me? Got me, y'all ain't with me?
- 50:29Speaker 1: But I'm just like two bodies this boy, one body
- 50:33Speaker 1: this way, had to foot three different pillars. We work
- 50:37Speaker 1: that thing. Three bodies in the cast. Yeah, well, you're
- 50:43Speaker 1: probably gonna need ten, j You're probably gonna need five
- 50:45Speaker 1: on each side. Roller, But you saved some money, Jay
- 50:52Speaker 1: Dolly like like bunk beds for three people? All right,
- 50:58Speaker 1: I got a bad idea. Go ahead, let me just

- 51:45Speaker 1: Buggle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 51:46Speaker 1: you here. It is Strawberry Letter. What are you doing?
- 51:50Speaker 1: All right? Hit the wrong but you know? Thank you, nephew. Subject,
- 51:54Speaker 1: why can't we both have a side piece? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 51:58Speaker 1: My husband and I I know. My husband and I
- 52:00Speaker 1: have been married for three years. Our marriage was good.
- 52:04Speaker 1: It was going good until a year ago when he
- 52:07Speaker 1: told me he was having an affair. Shortly after we met,
- 52:11Speaker 1: he told me about a female friend of his that
- 52:14Speaker 1: lives out of town and she's like a little sister
- 52:16Speaker 1: to him. I met her five days ago when she
- 52:18Speaker 1: came to town for homecoming. We got along great, but
- 52:22Speaker 1: I don't trust any females around my man. He and
- 52:26Speaker 1: this woman texted and called each other often, and when
- 52:29Speaker 1: I asked what's up with her or what they had
- 52:32Speaker 1: talked about, he would say it was just small talk.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Last June, she moved to our city, and my husband
- 52:38Speaker 1: was so excited. Last July, I found a ten pack
- 52:42Speaker 1: of condoms in his car and there were really and
- 52:46Speaker 1: there were only two left in the pack. My female intuitions, mmmm,
- 52:52Speaker 1: my female intimition. Intuition told me that he was messing
- 52:56Speaker 1: with this woman that he called his little sister. I
- 52:59Speaker 1: asked him about the condoms, and he admitted that he
- 53:02Speaker 1: was having sex with her. He told me to say
- 53:04Speaker 1: have a history and he can't get her out of
- 53:06Speaker 1: his system. I told him that he needed to stop
- 53:09Speaker 1: the affair and we could go to counseling to fix
- 53:12Speaker 1: our marriage. He said there was no need for counseling
- 53:16Speaker 1: because he wants us both. I haven't had sex with
- 53:19Speaker 1: him in over a year, but we still keep up
- 53:21Speaker 1: appearances in public like we're a happy couple. His affair
- 53:25Speaker 1: is still going on, and I don't plan to leave
- 53:27Speaker 1: him because I love seeing him stressed out trying to
- 53:31Speaker 1: keep two women happy. My only problem now is that
- 53:34Speaker 1: I've started dating a new guy and my husband is
- 53:36Speaker 1: being overly possessive and tried to fight him. If he
- 53:40Speaker 1: can have a side piece, shouldn't I be allowed to
- 53:43Speaker 1: please advise? Well, wouldn't that just be perfect if we
- 53:47Speaker 1: lived in a perfect world, you know, where we could
- 53:50Speaker 1: do whatever we wanted to do and you know whatever.
- 53:53Speaker 1: But it's not like that. And you know that you
- 53:55Speaker 1: already know there's a double standard in the world, and
- 53:58Speaker 1: that they're just things that do that are acceptable in
- 54:01Speaker 1: the world. But if a woman were to do the
- 54:03Speaker 1: same thing, she'd be talked about and judged harshly. And
- 54:07Speaker 1: that's when this is one of those things. This is
- 54:10Speaker 1: one of those times. Okay, the double standard. That's why
- 54:14Speaker 1: he tried to fight your so called side piece. Okay,
- 54:17Speaker 1: because he can do it, but he doesn't want you
- 54:20Speaker 1: doing it. You know, I do give him credit, I
- 54:23Speaker 1: guess for coming clean. Finally, you know, I mean after
- 54:26Speaker 1: he got busted out with the tim packet condoms and
- 54:29Speaker 1: only two in there. But I mean, your husband's way
- 54:32Speaker 1: out of line here. You know that he has no
- 54:34Speaker 1: plans of giving her up after only three years of marriage.
- 54:38Speaker 1: He's already lying and cheating and won't stop. But to you,
- 54:44Speaker 1: I just say, this is not a joke. I mean,
- 54:46Speaker 1: you say you just want to stick around because you
- 54:48Speaker 1: love seeing him stressed out. I mean, I suppose you
- 54:51Speaker 1: can get some sort of satisfaction and seeing that since
- 54:54Speaker 1: of the way he's treating because of the way he's
- 54:56Speaker 1: treating you. But I mean, you know this, this is
- 55:00Speaker 1: a crazy arrangement here. I think, don't you think it
- 55:03Speaker 1: would be better if you just left him and went
- 55:07Speaker 1: on with your man that you have now and lived
- 55:10Speaker 1: a happier life. You know, two wrongs do not make
- 55:12Speaker 1: a right. You know, I guess don't you want a
- 55:16Speaker 1: happier life? I don't get this. Why why you're still
- 55:19Speaker 1: there doing this? You know you could just move on
- 55:22Speaker 1: and do better with your life and let him to
- 55:24Speaker 1: do her and to be miserable. That's my response, Steve Well,
- 55:30Speaker 1: surely great response. The problem. The woman asked the question
- 55:35Speaker 1: of why can't we both have a side piece? Well,
- 55:42Speaker 1: let's just try this. Your first sentence is the answer
- 55:47Speaker 1: to that my husband and I have been married for
- 55:54Speaker 1: three years? Subject, why can't we both have a side piece? Answer?
- 56:03Speaker 1: Because you and your damn husband have been married for
- 56:08Speaker 1: three years? Yeah, our marriage was going good till a
- 56:12Speaker 1: year ago. Oh no, no it wasn't. You thought it
- 56:15Speaker 1: was when he told me he was having an a
- 56:17Speaker 1: fair Now, that's interesting. Why would he do that? And
- 56:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you why. I short you. Shortly after
- 56:29Speaker 1: we met, he told me about a female friend of
- 56:31Speaker 1: his that lives out of town, and she's like a
- 56:34Speaker 1: little sister to him. Most regular people ain't sleeping with
- 56:39Speaker 1: their little sister. I just want to throw that out
- 56:41Speaker 1: there as to why this whole letter reeks of false information?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Why can't we both have a side piece? Because we've
- 56:50Speaker 1: been married three years? Marriage was going good till a
- 56:54Speaker 1: year ago. He told me he's had a female friend
- 56:58Speaker 1: out of town and she's like a little sister to him.
- 57:01Speaker 1: That's what he told you. I met her five years
- 57:04Speaker 1: ago when she came to town for home coming. We
- 57:06Speaker 1: got along great, But I don't trust any females around.
- 57:09Speaker 1: My man here and this woman text and called each
- 57:12Speaker 1: other often, and when I asked what's up with her?
- 57:16Speaker 1: What they talked about, he would just saying small talk. Okay.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Last June she moved to out city and my husband
- 57:23Speaker 1: was so excited. Last July she only been here a month. Right,
- 57:30Speaker 1: you found a ten pack of condoms in this car,
- 57:33Speaker 1: Tommy said out loud. Condoms coming to twelve pack, and
- 57:38Speaker 1: it's two left in the pack. In thirty days, they've
- 57:47Speaker 1: been together at least ten damn times. I'm out from
- 57:55Speaker 1: she got here in June and July he was down
- 57:59Speaker 1: ten bam. All right, hang on, Steve, Well, because I
- 58:04Speaker 1: got most of you when we come back this high
- 58:06Speaker 1: long I've been on this. That's right, twenty three minutes
- 58:09Speaker 1: after be our subject today? Why can't we both have
- 58:12Speaker 1: a side piece? We'll get back into it right after this.
- 58:16Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right? Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 58:21Speaker 1: today strawberry letter. Why can't we both have a side piece? Well,
- 58:25Speaker 1: the reason you can't have a side piece, first of all,
- 58:27Speaker 1: because y'all been married three years. Side pieces don't ever
- 58:31Speaker 1: work out. I'm just sharing something with you. The marriage
- 58:35Speaker 1: you thought was good till a year ago when he
- 58:37Speaker 1: told you he was having another fair. He just came
- 58:39Speaker 1: out and told you that we're gonna get to that.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Shortly after we met, he told me about a female
- 58:45Speaker 1: friend of his and live out of town, and she
- 58:46Speaker 1: like a little assisted to him. I met her five
- 58:51Speaker 1: years ago when she came to town for home coming.
- 58:53Speaker 1: We got a long great but I don't trust any
- 58:55Speaker 1: female around. My man here and this woman texts and
- 58:58Speaker 1: called each other often. When I asking what's up and
- 59:01Speaker 1: what they talked about, he would say, small talk. What
- 59:07Speaker 1: you want? You know what I want? That's small talk.
- 59:11Speaker 1: You got it? You want it? That's small talk. Uh.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Last I asked, what's up? Small talk? Last June she
- 59:21Speaker 1: moved to the city, and your husband was so excited.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Last July you found a ten pack of condoms in
- 59:28Speaker 1: his car. Tommy pointed out that condoms come into twil pack.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I happened to agree. That was only two left in
- 59:35Speaker 1: the pack, which means ten times in thirty days. That's
- 59:41Speaker 1: every three days. He over there with his little sister,
- 59:48Speaker 1: small talking, small talking chatting. Huh. My female intuition told
- 59:57Speaker 1: me he was messing with this woman, that he all
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: his little sister, pump your brakes. Your female intuition. You
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: know what told me he was messing with her, And
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I don't have female intuition. That twelve pack of condoms
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: you found that ain't have but two left? You ain't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: got to have intuition and know that all you gotta
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: do is be able to count. Yeah. Now, if you
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: got a twelve pack in your car, fellas and your girl,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: find a twelve pack still in now you picked them
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: up for your boy, or your boy left him in
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: the car when you picked him up, and you threw
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: it in your glove compartment till you see him again.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: That's a conversation you can have. But what you can't
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: do is have an open box of condom and they
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: mix it? Who put them in the car? Stupid as you? Dumb?
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Let me explain this part to you. That's really gonna
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: throw you into something. Come on, my female intuition told
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: me he was messing with this woman. I asked him
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: about the condoms. He admitted that he was having sex
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: with her, Just like that. You just came out with
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: that information. Could just because we found some condoms? Oh naw, Pardner, Oh,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I got a list of stuff I'm gonna throw out
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: at you for I tell y'all was having sex with somebody,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and I care about you and I man, but he
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: just flat out and told you he have another fan
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: because he don't care that, you know, because of that,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: that affair obviously means something to him. He told me,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: he told me that they have a history, which means
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: they've been doing this for a long time. He can't
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: get out of her system. When she came from homecoming,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: she was in the system. When he introduced you, he
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: was in that she was in the system. I told
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: him he needed to stop the affair. We could go
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: to counseling to fix our marriage. This where you got
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: in trouble. You know what he said after you told
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: him that, He said, ain't no need for counseling because
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I want both of y'all. What counseling gona help that? None?
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I want both of y'all. Now hear where you started me,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I haven't had sexual with him in over a year. Well,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: how many condoms you think he'd went through in a year?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Let's just go eight in a month, times twelve, seventy
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: two times? Whoa dude? That mask seventy two? Damn times,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you're brilliant because you ain't having sex with n't But
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: guess why you ain't having a sex with him, because
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you didn't met a new dude that you're dating. Why
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: can't we both have side pieces because y'all two Foods
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: is married now, but when you're in public, you act
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: like a happy couple. His affairs still going on. This
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: wasn't let it get twisted. Like Shirley said, I don't
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: plan to leave him because I love seeing him stressed out.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: He that damn stressed out. He ain't that damn stressed
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: out because he ain't moved out and he's still seeing her. Yeah,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: he ain't that damn stressed out stress trying to keep
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: two women happy. He don't give a damn if you're happy.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: He keeping one woman happy. He just tried to keep
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: the other one quiet, which is you see that he
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: ain't tripping with trying nothing. He just wants you to
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: shut the hell up so he can going back over there.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: The only problem now is I'll just start dating the
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: new guy and my husband is being overly possessive and
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: tried to fight him. He want it all does Yeah,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: they're young because they're still going to home coming in
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: all that. Yeah, he's being possessive and tried to fight him.

- 1:03:47Speaker 1: allowed to please advise, of course you can. If he
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: got a side piece, you have your side piece. Now

- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Thank you, you're listening to morning show. All right, we're
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: back now before we do. Okay, I did not frown?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: What you when Shirley said, what did you say to me? Shi? Well,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I asked you what was on your dream board? And
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you said you had a dollar amount? Right? And then
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: you paused a long time and I said, what like
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: a million dollars? And you had a grimace and Yola
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: wood a million? Me talk about I'm upty? Okay, let
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: me ask you a question. You've got a great truck,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: a new truck you bought year ago. So yeah, so
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I I mean when you came over to my house. Yeah,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: you have that truck, right, yeah, No on your dream board.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: It's the same truck on your dream No it's not
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: on that. Okay, no, no, it's not our Scott is
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: not on that. What you're talking about the same million?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: You don't want to discuss that's what he's saying. You know, Oh,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: that's what that was. Okay, Okay, I didn't. I didn't
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: know he was using that. Just I'm just trying. Why
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: would I I mean, I'm not getting frowning at a million,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: but I have done that over shows. So do you
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: realize how reach you up? Yeah? He knows. I think.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Do you think you obsessed with it? You don't want
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: to answer. I mean, I'm not. I worked towards it
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: a lot. M h. But let me ask you a question, though.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: You gotta work towards something. Yeah, I'm not obsessed more
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I am with the vision of what it accomplishes for
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: others and me, because like right now, I'm I'm in
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: the game primarily primarily for my grandkids. Are you enjoying it?
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all love my work.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I really do. But I'm in it for the grandkids
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: right now. Yeah, see, two shows. I make enough in
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: two shows to have a lifestyle, a really, really good lifestyle.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: The rest of it is for them to set aside,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: because I can't leave them the shows, and I can't
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: leave them these jokes. So I gotta build some type
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: of empire, some type of business structure to leave my son.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Like my son, Steve is working hard to learn my
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: business so he could take something over. I want my
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: children's children. I want my grandchildren's children to know my name.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: He was storing up for them, And the only way
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: for them to know your name is you gotta leave them.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: So do you have a portrait in your lie? Does
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: he have a portrait of him? Write it down, say
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I'm your great great grandfather's Steve Hark. You can't know, okay, right? No?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Think were your video for them? Yeah? Just hey, y'all,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I ain't never met y'all, but I'm I'm your great

- 1:10:24Speaker 1: size of kango. Yeah, he's wearing one. The one he

- 1:10:32Speaker 1: like a yamica on top of he just refused to
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: get a new one. Yeah, you know, I don't know.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: He's got to see that as small. I mean it's

- 1:11:43Speaker 1: you can take a punch. Manna could have got too.

- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian, that's who. That was my list, and you
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: substituted the Stallion to go to go? Are you go?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Jg gonna show up? I know that, I know. And
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: you don't want any entanglements. You just trying to stay
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: with the least amount of problem. If you try to
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: stay out of a situation, you leave, ye yes, Oh man, Okay,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: well it ain't It ain't much. Hally ain't leaving at all. Well,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: because I know Halle. Halle had to go because you
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: know him, Yeah, I know him. Oh so you okay, Well,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I know one thing. Denzel and Edress aren't going anywhere
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: ever in life. Get rid of when they die and
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: come back. Yeah, they're still in the list. They're still No,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not. I didn't pick them calls of flyness,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: I just because I know Halle and for anybody thinking
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: and I don't know A like that, but I just
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: know him. Okay, you know I don't know him like
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: day at all. All Right, So we'll be back with
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: our last break of the day and some closing remarks
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: from our fearless leader, the one and only mister Steve
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: hard Day. Right after this, you're listening to Steve here
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: we are end of the show. Um, with just one
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: more thing you're closing remarks. Uh. You know, today I
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: want to still stay on the encouraging tip and I
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: want to talk to people about something that you should make.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: These are just suggestions, folks. You know, I don't know everything,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: but these are some things that I do to personally
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: keep myself moving forward in a positive direction because I'm
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: always trying to accomplish something new. You know, I'm never satisfied. Well,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: it's not that I'm never satisfied. I'm never complacent. I
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: don't I don't believe in sitting still. I don't believe
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: in and not moving forward. I just don't see it.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: You know. Every day I try to wake up an
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: approach and attack a new challenge. I've always setting goals
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: out there because it just gives you something to aim
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: for throughout the day. What are the things I want
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: to remind people of something that I do, and up
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you're invited to do the same. Miss you know, have
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: a life feel with a mission, have a life field
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: with a mission. You're gonna have several missions in life,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: but get your life filled with missions. Remember the show
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Mission Impossible, and remember that tape recording that used to
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: come on every day and tell the guy what to do,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: and then at the end of it, the tape with
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: self destruct. But that became the mission. It became the purpose,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: the task at hand, and until you completed that task,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: you came back in. And that's what the whole shows are.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: It's really funny thing, you know. It's tape recording comes
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: on and then it fearses and disintegrates, and that's your mission.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I still do that, man, It's sort of a funny analogy.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: But I try to create a mission in my life
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: all the time. And in order to accomplish your mission,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: one of the things you have to do is you
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: have to surround yourself with people who are about the
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: same mission. That will be no missions accomplished. In life
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: solely by yourself. I don't I can't think of anything
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: that you can accomplish solely by yourself. You know, even
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: if you want to have a relationship with God, Yeah,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: you can have relationship with God, but to draw closer,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: you know, you gotta have some type of toolge. You know,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: you gotta read some scriptures. Somebody's got to show you
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: another way to approach it. Somebody go, Man, if you're
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: going through this, read this or read that, and it
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: sort of helps you with your goal leaving in that.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: But I don't know anything that you can accomplish mission
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: wise alone. So you need to surround yourself who with
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: people who are like minded. As a motivational speaker, sometimes
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: when I'm going I use my motivational pictures that I
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: keep in my phone and I put them up on
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the big screen and I show them to people. And
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: one of my favorite pictures is a picture of these
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: lions walking and the expression on the lion's face because
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: they've they've woken up from their nap and they're going
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: out for the hunt. And if you look at lions
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: when they're walking to go out on a hunt, they
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: all have that same determined look on their face because
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: they all about the same mission. You ever notice when
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: lions ready to go out on the hunt, they leave
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the cubs back at the den because, see, it ain't
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: no time to play out here, because we're going out
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: here to feed, We're going out here to hunt. So
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: they leave the cubs back in the den when they
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: go out on the hunt because they ain't got no
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: time for no foolishness. And I have this picture in
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: my phone of these lions just striding and if you
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: look at all the looks on their face, they're serious.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: It ain't no playtime because everybody is on the same mission.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Everybody is of the like mindedness that it takes to
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: accomplish the mission. And the caption says, surround yourself with
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: people who are on the same mission. And I'm saying
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: that to you today. Find someone who is about the
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: business just like you are. Start hanging out with people
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: who are goal oriented, who are success minded. Somebody was
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: talking to somebody one time and they said, man, Steve,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: let me manage you something. Why rich people are always
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: talking about money? That would get on my nerves. Okay,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: what else you want to talk about? You want to
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: talk about? What happened on the Real Housewives. What you
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: want to talk about, what's going on in the theaters today,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: we can talk about that. But when I get together
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: with my friends, we get together. We on a mission.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: I even play golf with people who are on the
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: same mission as me, you know, because we have like mindedness.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: I don't play golf with a bunch of single friends
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: because see, now, when we're not playing golf, we're not
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: gonna be able to single. Man. I need people just
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: want to go play golf, Go to the clubhouse, have
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: a cigar, get yourself a drink, get yourself somebody, and
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: gonna go to your room because we gotta get up
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: early to morning play this tournament game. We got going again.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: That's just it. Even when I play, I play with
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: people of like mindedness. I don't play with people that's
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: that's doing something else because I don't need the distraction.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: It's very important that you surround yourself with like minded people.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Find them somewhere. See. It goes along with an old saying,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you've all heard this. If you're the smartest person in
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: your group, then you need a new group. Got you
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: can't be the smartest person in your group. Man, you
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: gotta have somebody that knows a little bit more about
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: the journey, or it's familiar with a certain thing that's
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: going to happen on the journey, where they can give
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you a suggestion when you get to that point. Everybody
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: ain't got to be good at everything. Sometimes you have
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: specialty people. It's like you know when you assembling your team,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: all of your friends ain't the same. Some of your
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: friends you don't have spiritual messages for you. Some of
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: them just have uplifts, some of them just cool to
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: be around. Some of them do the same things you do.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: But surround yourself with people who are on the same mission.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: It will make your journey to the top a lot smoother.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: It won't make it easy, it will make it smoother.
