  I'm thinking today of Proverbs chapter 8. In Proverbs 8, we're looking at the

  entire chapter pretty much is about the wisdom of God and basically we're to

  understand that the wisdom of God is available and that it entreats us to

  listen and to follow God's ways. In 36 it sort of gives us the alternative. It says

  but he who sins against me injures himself and all those who hate me love
• 0:28
  death. Now the me in this is not God. It's the wisdom of God, the teachings of God.

  And so basically it's saying if you sin against the wisdom of God you injure
• 0:38
  yourself and if you hate the wisdom of God you love death. All sins against God
• 0:45
  and the wisdom of God is injury to self and all hate towards God and the wisdom
• 0:50
  of God is a love of death. Ouch! So here's the bottom line. We ought to want

  to do the things that God wants us to do. We should listen to the wisdom of God.

  That means we should sit under preaching and teaching. Listen to our encouragement

  calls. We should study the Word of God and try to learn the best we possibly

  can what it is that God wants to teach us. This wisdom is available. God makes
• 1:16
  it available and you can know it and you can live it. That's for us to understand.

  For others perhaps not so much but for us I love the wisdom of God and I would

  entreat you to do the same. Get in a local church. Sit under a pastor who is
• 1:34
  godly and can teach you what you need to know about the Lord that you don't
• 1:38
  already know and maybe you can teach others as well. Let us work together to
• 1:42
  subject ourselves to the wisdom of God. God bless you today.
