- 0:01Speaker 1: It is insane.
- 0:02Speaker 2: The Virginia Lieutenant governor, a Democrat, is agreeing now with
- 0:08Speaker 2: a professor who literally says the majority of voters in
- 0:12Speaker 2: Virginia are racists. Why because they're not supporting Democratic candidates
- 0:19Speaker 2: the way they should.
- 0:21Speaker 3: To me, what is learning is if we buy the
- 0:25Speaker 3: argument that is manufactured indignation as racist overturnes to it,
- 0:32Speaker 3: then it also tells me that majority of voters in
- 0:35Speaker 3: Virginia are racist, or at least susceptible to racist dog whistles.
- 0:41Speaker 4: It's very disturbing. I've been talking, particularly to a lot
- 0:46Speaker 4: of young folks who are of Hispanic background or Asian background,
- 0:52Speaker 4: and what's really disturbing to them is this idea that
- 0:57Speaker 4: racism is so latent and so much a part of
- 1:03Speaker 4: the society that people could respond to these kinds of
- 1:08Speaker 4: flagrant dog whistles that we heard throughout the Youngkin campaign.
- 1:13Speaker 2: So there it is Glenn Youngkin, who the majority of
- 1:16Speaker 2: people in Virginia chose to be their governor. They're now saying,
- 1:20Speaker 2: you voted for him, you're racist. Doesn't sound a lot
- 1:23Speaker 2: like what they said about Donald Trump a few years ago.
- 1:26Speaker 2: And that is the Virginia Democratic Lieutenant Governor nominee, saying
- 1:31Speaker 2: that she absolutely agrees with his professor who says that
- 1:35Speaker 2: the majority of the people in the city of Virginia
- 1:37Speaker 2: are actually racists. Now I start with that to go
- 1:41Speaker 2: to another story, one that is also incredibly shocking. This time,
- 1:47Speaker 2: we're going to go to Illinois, where Donald Trump's Department
- 1:50Speaker 2: of Justice has just announced that they are having to
- 1:53Speaker 2: target Illinois over tuition.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Perks for illegal aliens.
- 2:00Speaker 2: They're also accusing the state of Illinois of discrimination against
- 2:04Speaker 2: United States citizens. The United States Attorney General Pambondi announce
- 2:10Speaker 2: the filing of a civil complaint in the US District
- 2:13Speaker 2: Court for the Southern District of Illinois challenging state laws
- 2:17Speaker 2: that provide in state tuition as well as scholarships for
- 2:23Speaker 2: illegal aliens in Illinois. The complaint alleges the law unconstitutionally
- 2:30Speaker 2: discriminates against US citizens who pay more they are not
- 2:35Speaker 2: afforded the same reduced tuition rates or scholarships, in direct
- 2:41Speaker 2: conflict they say with federal law. The civil complaint filed
- 2:45Speaker 2: on Tuesday by the United States Department of Justice against
- 2:49Speaker 2: the State of Illinois Governor Pritsker and the Attorney General
- 2:52Speaker 2: of the state as well as the board of trustees
- 2:55Speaker 2: of state universities in Illinois, seeking, they say, to enjoin
- 2:59Speaker 2: the State of Illinois from enforcing the laws and bringing
- 3:03Speaker 2: them into compliance with federal requirements. The complaint, filed on
- 3:08Speaker 2: behalf of the United States, seeks to end these specific
- 3:11Speaker 2: benefits that were clearly made for illegal immigrants, and these
- 3:17Speaker 2: benefits were provided under Illinois state law that require colleges
- 3:23Speaker 2: and universities to offer quote in state tuition rates for
- 3:28Speaker 2: all aliens who maintain an Illinois residency, regardless of whether
- 3:34Speaker 2: those aliens are lawfully present in the United States. Now,
- 3:39Speaker 2: the DOJ also asserted the law's conflict with federal law
- 3:44Speaker 2: that prohibits institutions of higher education from providing benefits to
- 3:49Speaker 2: illegal aliens that are not offered to US citizens, and
- 3:53Speaker 2: so in this announcement that was issued by Bonding the DOJ,
- 3:57Speaker 2: the agency officials say the Illinois laws bleed stanly go
- 4:01Speaker 2: against and conflict with federal law and are thus in
- 4:05Speaker 2: conflict with the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Now.
- 4:09Speaker 2: In a statement that's been issued by the DOJ, the
- 4:12Speaker 2: Attorney General Bondi described the discrimination against United States citizens
- 4:17Speaker 2: that are not offered the same benefits under the Illinois laws, saying, quote,
- 4:22Speaker 2: under federal law, schools cannot provide benefits to illegal aliens
- 4:29Speaker 2: that they do not provide to US citizens. By the way,
- 4:33Speaker 2: this is common sense. This Department of Justice has already
- 4:37Speaker 2: filed multiple lawsuits to prevent US students from being treated
- 4:42Speaker 2: like second class citizens. Illinois now joins the list of
- 4:47Speaker 2: states where they are relentlessly fighting, she says, to vindicate.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Federal law. Now.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The complaint aligns with the intent of two executive orders
- 4:59Speaker 2: that were signed by President Donald Trump earlier that seek
- 5:03Speaker 2: to ensure that illegal aliens are not obtaining taxpayer benefits
- 5:08Speaker 2: or preferential treatment. An executive order signed in February titled
- 5:12Speaker 2: Ending Taxpayer Subsization of Open Borders, orders all agencies to
- 5:19Speaker 2: quote ensure to the maximum extent permitted by law, that
- 5:23Speaker 2: no taxpayer funded benefits go to unqualified aliens. The second
- 5:30Speaker 2: executive order that was signed in April, titled Protecting American
- 5:34Speaker 2: Communities from Criminal Aliens, also directs relevant officials to quote
- 5:39Speaker 2: take appropriate action to stop the enforcement of saint local laws, regulations, policies,
- 5:47Speaker 2: and practices favoring illegal aliens over any group of American
- 5:52Speaker 2: citizens that are unlawful, preempted by federal law, or otherwise unforseeable,
- 5:59Speaker 2: including state laws that provide in state higher education tuition
- 6:04Speaker 2: to illegal immigrants but do not offer the same benefit
- 6:08Speaker 2: to out of state American citizens. So to be clear,
- 6:12Speaker 2: so you understand how egregious this is in Illinois, if
- 6:16Speaker 2: you are from another country, break into the United States
- 6:20Speaker 2: of America and then set up shop in Illinois, they
- 6:23Speaker 2: give you in state tuition. If you are an American
- 6:28Speaker 2: citizen flying in from California or driving from North Dakota
- 6:33Speaker 2: or Georgia or anywhere else and want to go to
- 6:36Speaker 2: school in Illinois, you are not afforded the same price
- 6:41Speaker 2: as an illegal immigrant who is literally breaking the law. Now,
- 6:45Speaker 2: the filing of the complaint is just the latest in
- 6:48Speaker 2: the back and forth between the State of Illinois and
- 6:50Speaker 2: its leadership and the Trump administration. On Sunday, on CBS's
- 6:55Speaker 2: Face to Nation, the Illinois Governor Prinsker criticize efforts by
- 6:59Speaker 2: the Trump administration to reduce crime, for example, in major cities,
- 7:04Speaker 2: by deploying federal law enforcement and military resources, likening the
- 7:09Speaker 2: deployments to quote an invasion with US troops. So there
- 7:14Speaker 2: you have it, a major story you probably won't hear
- 7:18Speaker 2: about anywhere else, and the President of United States of
- 7:20Speaker 2: America saying we're going to put American citizens first, not
- 7:26Speaker 2: last when it comes to higher education. I want to
- 7:29Speaker 2: talk to you about my friends over at Patriot Mobile.
- 7:32Speaker 2: You've got a lot of choices for cell phone service,
- 7:35Speaker 2: with new ones popping up all the time. But if
- 7:38Speaker 2: you want to make a difference and you want to
- 7:40Speaker 2: stop giving your money to liberal companies, well, one way
- 7:43Speaker 2: you can do that is by getting rid of Liberal
- 7:46Speaker 2: Mobile you probably have right now. That is where hundreds
- 7:49Speaker 2: of thousands of Americans are now coming together and have
- 7:52Speaker 2: made Patriot Mobile what they are today. They've been in
- 7:55Speaker 2: service now for thirteen years, and right now is the
- 8:00Speaker 2: best time ever to switch, because it's never been easier. Now,
- 8:04Speaker 2: before I tell you about that, I want you to
- 8:06Speaker 2: know why switching is so important, because every time you

- 8:15Speaker 2: your Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children. And
- 8:19Speaker 2: you stand with our military, our veterans, our wounded warriors,
- 8:23Speaker 2: and our fallen Soldier families because Patriot Mobile takes about
- 8:26Speaker 2: five percent of your bill every month at no extra
- 8:29Speaker 2: cost to you, and they give it back to these
- 8:32Speaker 2: organizations that fight for our values. Now, let's talk about switching.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It has never been easier. You can keep your same number,
- 8:39Speaker 2: keep your same phone, or upgrade. Patriot Mobile's got a
- 8:42Speaker 2: one hundred percent US based customer service team and literally

- 9:22Speaker 2: one month free service by switching today. So again, Patriotmobile
- 9:26Speaker 2: dot com slash ferguson, use the promo code ferguson. You'll
- 9:29Speaker 2: get a free month of service. Today Patriotmobile dot Com
- 9:32Speaker 2: slash Ferguson or nine to seven to two Patriot. There
- 9:36Speaker 2: is a big debate that is happening in this country,
- 9:39Speaker 2: and the debate is do you want law and order
- 9:41Speaker 2: or do you want anarchy and chaos. The Democratic Party
- 9:45Speaker 2: has made it clear they're on the side of the
- 9:47Speaker 2: criminal everywhere they can find them in this country, including
- 9:50Speaker 2: illegal immigrants. They also want you to believe that cities
- 9:54Speaker 2: are actually really safe when they are not. So the
- 9:57Speaker 2: question you have to ask is who are the American
- 10:01Speaker 2: people putting their trust in.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Well.
- 10:03Speaker 2: CNN had a very interesting poll that just came out,
- 10:07Speaker 2: and guess what it showed. Americans are overwhelmingly preferring President
- 10:12Speaker 2: Donald Trump's approach to crime fighting over what they had
- 10:17Speaker 2: with Joe Biden.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Okay, I think this sort of gives the game away
- 10:21Speaker 5: here because Donald Trump is like Air Jordan, towering over
- 10:24Speaker 5: Joe Biden when it comes to their handling a crime.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Look in twenty twenty four, look at where Biden's net
- 10:29Speaker 5: approver was on crime Way on the water there at
- 10:32Speaker 5: minus twenty six points. It was one of Biden's ware issues. Granted,
- 10:35Speaker 5: pretty much every issue was one of Biden's war Isshues.
- 10:37Speaker 5: And again, look at where Donald Trump is way, way,
- 10:42Speaker 5: way above Joe Biden.
- 10:43Speaker 1: What is that? That's twenty seven points.
- 10:45Speaker 5: So Americans vastly prefer Donald Trump's approach to crime than
- 10:49Speaker 5: they ditch to Joe Biden's. And again, I think it
- 10:51Speaker 5: gets back to the point that Americans are far more
- 10:54Speaker 5: hawkish on crime than a lot of Democrats want to admit.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I love how they refer to Donald Trump as Michael Jordan.
- 11:01Speaker 2: He is just killing it when it comes to fighting crime,
- 11:04Speaker 2: and the American people are behind him. But if you
- 11:07Speaker 2: look at what the Democrats are doing right now, they're
- 11:10Speaker 2: doing everything they can to keep those that commit crimes
- 11:13Speaker 2: in this country mains. Democratic Secretary of State is now
- 11:18Speaker 2: admitting non citizen residents are registered to vote in her state.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Blatant disregard for the law is how it is being
- 11:28Speaker 2: described by GOP lawmakers in Maine after the Democrats, Yes,
- 11:33Speaker 2: all right, fine, we admit it. Non citizens are registered
- 11:37Speaker 2: to vote and are voting in our state. Which brings
- 11:42Speaker 2: us to another big story. There is a myth that
- 11:46Speaker 2: there's only major cartel activity at our southern border border
- 11:51Speaker 2: states and it's not really anywhere else that is what
- 11:55Speaker 2: the media has been saying, and that's what Democrats have
- 11:58Speaker 2: been saying, and they also want you to that's, you know,
- 12:01Speaker 2: not that bad. Well, if you want to know how
- 12:04Speaker 2: big the network is a criminal activity, look at the
- 12:07Speaker 2: newest data that's just come out. One hundred and seventy
- 12:12Speaker 2: one Cineloa cartel members have been arrested in New England.
- 12:18Speaker 2: That's pretty darn far from the southern border. The Drug
- 12:22Speaker 2: Enforcement Administration you know them as the DA, in New
- 12:26Speaker 2: England say that they arrested more than one hundred and
- 12:28Speaker 2: seventy members of the Cineloa drug cartel during a recent
- 12:31Speaker 2: crackdown operation. The arrests led to the seizure of more
- 12:36Speaker 2: than twenty two thousand counterfeit pills, fetnyl powder, and packaging
- 12:44Speaker 2: branded with the Cineloa cartel logo.
- 12:48Speaker 1: The DEA Special.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Agent in charge for the New England Field Division said
- 12:52Speaker 2: to twenty five News in Boston that the Cineloa cartel
- 12:56Speaker 2: is public.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Enemy number one in England.
- 13:00Speaker 2: The DA agent also told the local news outlet that
- 13:03Speaker 2: during a week long nationwide crackdown, one hundred and seventy
- 13:06Speaker 2: one cartel members were arrested in New England area. Alone,
- 13:10Speaker 2: a number they say is truly shocking. Why are you
- 13:14Speaker 2: not hearing about this story on the national news. That
- 13:18Speaker 2: is the question that everyone should be asking, And there's
- 13:21Speaker 2: a very good answer to it, because if they tell
- 13:24Speaker 2: you that the cartels are controlling New England, then you
- 13:27Speaker 2: realize it's not actually a border issue anymore. I want
- 13:31Speaker 2: you to take a listen to the local news and
- 13:34Speaker 2: what they said to their citizens about just how bad
- 13:38Speaker 2: the cartel movement is in Boston and the surrounding area.
- 13:43Speaker 6: The Federal Drug Enforcement Administration says a week long cartel
- 13:47Speaker 6: crackdown led to nearly two hundred arrests just in New England.
- 13:51Speaker 6: The DEA says they were all members of the Sinaloa cartel,
- 13:54Speaker 6: the largest drug cartel in the world. Twenty five investigates
- 13:58Speaker 6: went one on one with the DEA special Agent in
- 14:00Speaker 6: charge about their recent operation. He says the vast Sineloa
- 14:04Speaker 6: network has deep roots in New England.
- 14:07Speaker 7: There are public Enemy number one.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Jared Fourge, the Special Agent in charge of DEA's New
- 14:11Speaker 6: England Field Division, says last week the DEA set out
- 14:15Speaker 6: to arrest as many members of the Mexico based Cineloa
- 14:18Speaker 6: cartel as possible. New England saw the highest number of
- 14:22Speaker 6: regional arrests at one seventy one, with forty nine in Massachusetts,
- 14:26Speaker 6: thirty three in New Hampshire. Connecticut saw the most at
- 14:29Speaker 6: sixty four.
- 14:30Speaker 8: Do you think people would be surprised to learn how
- 14:33Speaker 8: many members of that cartel are operating, probably in plain sight,
- 14:38Speaker 8: in their communities.
- 14:39Speaker 7: Sure so, Sineloa cartel in every single state across America,
- 14:44Speaker 7: more than forty countries around the world, and obviously they're
- 14:47Speaker 7: at every state throughout New England.
- 14:49Speaker 8: What's their number one product they pushed?
- 14:51Speaker 4: Is it the pills?
- 14:52Speaker 7: So we see fetanhl powder, and we see counterfeit pills,
- 14:55Speaker 7: pills that are made to look like legitimate pills, notably
- 14:59Speaker 7: thirty M.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Thirty pills are counterfeit oxy codone. But FOURGET says they're
- 15:04Speaker 6: also increasingly seeing counterfeit stimulant pills made to look like
- 15:08Speaker 6: Adderall FOURGE showed us some of the more than twenty
- 15:12Speaker 6: two thousand pills and other drug sees during the operation,
- 15:16Speaker 6: like signature purple fentanel and some drug packaging even displaying
- 15:20Speaker 6: the sinealoa cartel stamp.
- 15:22Speaker 7: I'm a dea agent. I cannot tell the difference between
- 15:25Speaker 7: a fake one and a real one.
- 15:26Speaker 1: So we need to.
- 15:27Speaker 7: Remind parents, schools, caregivers, everybody in the community have those
- 15:32Speaker 7: conversations with each other, have them with your kids.
- 15:35Speaker 6: Forge says. The cartel targets unsuspecting young people online through
- 15:39Speaker 6: common social media apps. Many have no idea they're buying
- 15:43Speaker 6: potentially deadly counterfeit pills. One hundred and seventy one arrests
- 15:47Speaker 6: throughout New England.
- 15:49Speaker 8: Does that make a dent.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Where the DEA We're not going after low level retail
- 15:54Speaker 7: drug traffickers. We are going after drug trafficking organizations, the networks.
- 15:58Speaker 8: How do you disrupt something that is so large, so vast,
- 16:02Speaker 8: and seemingly so powerful.
- 16:04Speaker 7: Right, it's an ongoing battle, one that we cannot we
- 16:07Speaker 7: can't afford to give up. Right, it's the Cinelol cartel
- 16:10Speaker 7: is a threat to public safety, our public health, and
- 16:14Speaker 7: our national security as a country.
- 16:16Speaker 6: This year, the Centers for Disease Control reported, while drug
- 16:19Speaker 6: overdose deaths are declining, overdose is the leading cause of
- 16:23Speaker 6: death for young people ages eighteen to forty five.
- 16:27Speaker 2: You notice one of the really important things that was
- 16:29Speaker 2: said there by the DEA. They said the cartels are everywhere.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Not only did he say that, but he said, I'm
- 16:37Speaker 2: a dea agent. I cannot tell the difference between an
- 16:41Speaker 2: actual pill and a counterfeit pill that can take your
- 16:45Speaker 2: life with fetanol. He also talked about the other warning
- 16:49Speaker 2: about stimulants. Many kids will use riddling and adderall and
- 16:55Speaker 2: actually use it because they're trying to study things like
- 16:58Speaker 2: that in college every year turn deadly when they buy
- 17:01Speaker 2: what they think is an actual prescription pill, and in
- 17:05Speaker 2: reality it is from the cartel. They don't care if
- 17:08Speaker 2: you die. They just need you to buy the product
- 17:11Speaker 2: and move it quickly, which brings us back to the
- 17:15Speaker 2: other basic issue. There are two different sides of this story.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Now you're either on the side of holding those accountable
- 17:22Speaker 2: that are doing this and going after them. The Presence
- 17:25Speaker 2: made it clear that's what he's doing, and now the
- 17:28Speaker 2: American people are saying very clearly that what they want
- 17:34Speaker 2: is for Donald Trump to continue doing this. There are
- 17:37Speaker 2: other states they're doing everything they can to say we're
- 17:41Speaker 2: not going to get involved. We're not going to give
- 17:44Speaker 2: in to President Trump wanting law and order. We are
- 17:47Speaker 2: going to fight you at every step of the way.
- 17:51Speaker 2: One example of that is Adam schiff on if the
- 17:55Speaker 2: drop in DC crime after the Fed serge should be celebrated.
- 18:00Speaker 1: You know what his.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Response was, I can't analyze DC's numbers, but guard in
- 18:05Speaker 2: La was bad. Yes, So even when the numbers drop,
- 18:12Speaker 2: the Democratic Party refuses to admit it's an actual good
- 18:16Speaker 2: thing for the country.
- 18:18Speaker 3: All right.
- 18:18Speaker 9: So Trump, he as referred to himself as the chief
- 18:21Speaker 9: law enforcement officer of the country, right, as opposed to
- 18:23Speaker 9: Commander in chief, right, A nuance that matters. But he says, Senator,
- 18:27Speaker 9: as you know, he says this is about combating crime,
- 18:29Speaker 9: and he says it's working in Washington, d C. Where,
- 18:32Speaker 9: of course you are tonight. So when you look at
- 18:33Speaker 9: the numbers there though, this is according to Washington DC's
- 18:37Speaker 9: official database last week. I know you're familiar with these numbers,
- 18:40Speaker 9: but here they are.
- 18:41Speaker 10: If forty four.
- 18:42Speaker 9: Percent decrease in violent crime in the three weeks since
- 18:46Speaker 9: the federal surge, right, compared to the same period a
- 18:50Speaker 9: year ago. That includes a forty four percent drop in
- 18:53Speaker 9: homicides compared to the same time last year. So I mean,
- 18:57Speaker 9: if that is the outcome of what he's done, is
- 19:01Speaker 9: that something to actually celebrate?
- 19:04Speaker 11: Well, I don't think I can analyze what DC's crime
- 19:07Speaker 11: numbers were, but I can't say this about Los Angeles
- 19:10Speaker 11: and the deployment of troops there. First of all, it
- 19:13Speaker 11: was completely unnecessary.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Notice the massive jump there. He doesn't want to talk
- 19:20Speaker 2: about what worked in Washington, d C. Because he knows
- 19:24Speaker 2: the city where he's speaking from is safer now that
- 19:27Speaker 2: it's been in years, So he decides to go to
- 19:31Speaker 2: La instead. Adam Shift an individual who's saying I would
- 19:36Speaker 2: rather hate on Donald Trump than protect American citizens, and
- 19:41Speaker 2: when asked a simple question about, hey, the data shows
- 19:44Speaker 2: it's working, he refuses to even accept it and moves on,
- 19:49Speaker 2: which is all encompassing of the Democratic Party, which brings
- 19:52Speaker 2: us back to my original point. There are two sides
- 19:56Speaker 2: to this story, and the American people seem to be
- 19:59Speaker 2: overwhelmed on the side of what Donald Trump is doing
- 20:03Speaker 2: to fight crime coast to coast. So what happened over
- 20:08Speaker 2: Labor Day weekend in Chicago is truly shocking, but it's
- 20:12Speaker 2: become normal in that liberal city. The Associated Press is
- 20:16Speaker 2: now reporting eight people were murdered fifty were wounded across
- 20:21Speaker 2: thirty seven shootings from Friday to Monday. NBC News Chicago
- 20:27Speaker 2: updated its figures, stating that as a Monday night, there
- 20:30Speaker 2: were fifty eight people that were shot and eight killed
- 20:34Speaker 2: across the city, several others in critical condition. ABC News
- 20:39Speaker 2: also counted fifty eight shot, including eight fatalities. So what
- 20:43Speaker 2: does the mayor and the governor say of Illinois and Chicago?
- 20:47Speaker 2: They say, we don't have a violence problem, that everything
- 20:50Speaker 2: is fine. The President was asked about at the White House,
- 20:54Speaker 2: and here's what he had to say about what we're
- 20:56Speaker 2: witnessing right now.
- 20:58Speaker 12: Chicago's very interesting because they Pritzker get up and say
- 21:01Speaker 12: about we don't need help, we're safe. But two weeks
- 21:04Speaker 12: ago they had six people murdered, murdered, and they had
- 21:10Speaker 12: twenty four people hit by bullets. Last week, as you know,
- 21:14Speaker 12: with seven people, twenty four people hit and seven people died.
- 21:19Speaker 12: And then over the last two days it was the
- 21:22Speaker 12: that was the crown Jewel. They had I guess nine killed,
- 21:26Speaker 12: nine or ten killed and fifty hit with bullets. And
- 21:30Speaker 12: you have this governor get up, who's a terrible governor.
- 21:33Speaker 12: Probably he and Gavin Newscombe would be probably the two
- 21:38Speaker 12: worst and most naive.
- 21:40Speaker 1: The naive either their naiva, they're.
- 21:42Speaker 12: Very untruthful and he'll say, we don't want any protection,
- 21:47Speaker 12: we don't need. So in the last three weeks he's
- 21:50Speaker 12: lost almost twenty people killed. There's no place there's no
- 21:54Speaker 12: place in the world, including you can go to Afghanistan,
- 21:58Speaker 12: you can go to places said you would think of,
- 22:01Speaker 12: they don't even come close to this. Chicago is a
- 22:04Speaker 12: hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hellhole right now.
- 22:08Speaker 2: The President went on to say on social media, Chicago
- 22:12Speaker 2: will be safe again and soon I will solve the
- 22:15Speaker 2: crime problem fast, just like I did in Washington, d C.
- 22:20Speaker 2: In the over office, the President was also asked about Chicago.
- 22:23Speaker 2: He said, we're going in when referring to a point
- 22:26Speaker 2: the National Guard, he did not give a specific timeline,
- 22:29Speaker 2: and what is the left doing well? The governor making
- 22:32Speaker 2: it very clear he thinks it's all politics saving lives
- 22:37Speaker 2: and even try to turn it into a press conference
- 22:40Speaker 2: about the apprentice take a list in.
- 22:42Speaker 1: The governor in his own words, I.
- 22:45Speaker 13: Will not call the President asking him to send troops
- 22:48Speaker 13: to Chicago. I've made that clear already. I know this
- 22:53Speaker 13: has been an unsettling and difficult ten days for the
- 22:57Speaker 13: people of Chicago and Illine. I'm going to do my
- 23:02Speaker 13: best to share what we know as of today and
- 23:06Speaker 13: speak frankly to the people of Illinois. Rumors have been
- 23:10Speaker 13: swirling about what the White House has planned, and sifting
- 23:14Speaker 13: fact from fiction has been increasingly difficult because Donald Trump's
- 23:18Speaker 13: administration is not working in coordination with the City of Chicago,
- 23:24Speaker 13: Cook County, or the state of Illinois. I want to
- 23:27Speaker 13: take a moment at the top of my remarks to
- 23:30Speaker 13: note how truly extraordinary it is for the federal government
- 23:34Speaker 13: to refuse to coordinate with local law enforcement and government.
- 23:40Speaker 13: Our state police regularly works with the FBI, the ATF,
- 23:45Speaker 13: the DEEA to go after gangs and gun runners and
- 23:49Speaker 13: drug cartels. Under previous White House administrations, we regularly received
- 23:55Speaker 13: notice and worked together on crime fighting operations.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Here's what's interesting about what the governor just said. We
- 24:02Speaker 2: used to work together. So what is he saying now, Well,
- 24:06Speaker 2: the governor says not only does he oppose Trump and
- 24:08Speaker 2: his plan to send in federal troops, but he actually
- 24:11Speaker 2: called it quote unconstitutional, illegal, and un American, warning a
- 24:18Speaker 2: potential legal action Johnson. By the way, the Mayor of
- 24:22Speaker 2: Chicago sign an executive order affirming that Chicago police would
- 24:27Speaker 2: not cooperate with federal troops and likening any unauthorized deployment
- 24:32Speaker 2: as an invasion. He warned that such moves could inflame
- 24:36Speaker 2: tensions further. If you want to know what side they're on,
- 24:41Speaker 2: it's clearly not on the side of the people that
- 24:43Speaker 2: are dying in Chicago. Now, the scary part is the
- 24:47Speaker 2: governor and the mayor standing side by side for the
- 24:49Speaker 2: press conference in Chicago.
- 24:51Speaker 1: They weren't done there.
- 24:52Speaker 2: They're actually angry at Donald Trump for trying to fight
- 24:55Speaker 2: crime and save lives. And here's what the governor said
- 24:59Speaker 2: about sen in the National Guard.
- 25:01Speaker 13: We have reason to believe that Stephen Miller chose the
- 25:04Speaker 13: month of September to come to Chicago because of celebrations
- 25:08Speaker 13: around Mexican Independence Day that happen here every year. It
- 25:13Speaker 13: breaks my heart to report that we have been told
- 25:16Speaker 13: Ice will try and disrupt community picnics and peaceful parades.
- 25:22Speaker 13: Let's be clear, the terror and cruelty is the point,
- 25:26Speaker 13: not the safety of anyone living here. Third, as lawful
- 25:32Speaker 13: citizens exercise their First Amendment rights, Trump and his team
- 25:36Speaker 13: will be looking for any excuse to put active duty
- 25:39Speaker 13: military on our streets, supposedly to protect Ice. We have
- 25:45Speaker 13: reason to believe that the Trump administration has already begun
- 25:48Speaker 13: staging the Texas National Guard for deployment in Illinois. I
- 25:54Speaker 13: want to be very clear on this point, and I
- 25:56Speaker 13: want to speak directly to the press right now. We
- 26:01Speaker 13: know before anything has happened here, that the Trump plan
- 26:05Speaker 13: is to use any excuse to deploy armed military personnel
- 26:09Speaker 13: to Chicago. If someone flings a sandwich at an ICE agent,
- 26:15Speaker 13: Trump will try and go on TV and declare an
- 26:16Speaker 13: emergency in Chicago. I'm imploring everyone, if and when that happens,
- 26:23Speaker 13: do not take the bait.
- 26:25Speaker 2: It is amazing you have a governor of a state
- 26:28Speaker 2: saying that his citizens will be violent, and when they
- 26:30Speaker 2: are violent towards men and women in uniform, don't take
- 26:34Speaker 2: the bait. By the way, if you want to know
- 26:36Speaker 2: what the rest of the people in Chicago are saying,
- 26:39Speaker 2: they don't feel safe. And now even MSNBC is being
- 26:44Speaker 2: forced to tell the truth about just how bad things
- 26:48Speaker 2: are after fifty eight shot eight killed in Chicago over
- 26:52Speaker 2: the weekend. On Morning Joe, this is what they said
- 26:56Speaker 2: to their liberal audience.
- 26:58Speaker 10: Sorry, it is you have leaders in Chicago that see
- 27:00Speaker 10: this as you say, We've been reading about this for
- 27:03Speaker 10: years now every weekend and maybe crime has gone down,
- 27:07Speaker 10: but you know, we had the mayor of Chicago on
- 27:08Speaker 10: last week saying, oh, we don't need any more police officers.
- 27:11Speaker 10: Police officers aren't the answer. No police officers. And you know,
- 27:14Speaker 10: I think you said no five times. You look what's
- 27:16Speaker 10: happening this weekend.
- 27:17Speaker 1: He looks.
- 27:18Speaker 10: You know, I actually think that JB. Prinsker should do
- 27:22Speaker 10: something radical. I think you should pick up the phone,
- 27:26Speaker 10: call the president and say, you know, and I know
- 27:29Speaker 10: you don't have the constitutional authority to deploy the National
- 27:32Speaker 10: Guard here and the police. You can do that in DC,
- 27:35Speaker 10: you can't do that in Chicago. But let's partner up.
- 27:39Speaker 10: These are the most dangerous parts of my state. We
- 27:43Speaker 10: would love to figure out how to have a partnership
- 27:46Speaker 10: that's constitutional, that respects the sort of balance of federalism
- 27:52Speaker 10: between the federal government and the state government. And let's
- 27:56Speaker 10: work together.
- 27:57Speaker 1: To save lives.
- 27:58Speaker 10: Because right now, just hey, hey, nothing to see here,
- 28:01Speaker 10: moving along, no problem here, Hey, Donald Trump, we don't
- 28:05Speaker 10: need you. And you know LA Mayor talking about we're
- 28:08Speaker 10: going to protect people's dignity in our city, will protect
- 28:11Speaker 10: their lives. That's protecting their dignity. You know, it would
- 28:15Speaker 10: be radical for us to figure out a way to
- 28:18Speaker 10: actually do what I've been saying from the very beginning
- 28:20Speaker 10: on Washington, and that is seeing politicians creating partnerships that
- 28:26Speaker 10: protect their people.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Yeah, even MSNBC saying Jenny Prisker should do something radical,
- 28:33Speaker 2: he should pick up the phone and call the president
- 28:36Speaker 2: because the nothing to see here move isn't working quote unquote.
- 28:42Speaker 1: This is how you know this is working.
- 28:44Speaker 2: And the President is clearly leading on the issue, and
- 28:47Speaker 2: the American people are behind him. They're responding to it.
- 28:50Speaker 2: They like living in a safer city like Washington, d C.
- 28:53Speaker 2: And now he's trying to bring it to Chicago and
- 28:56Speaker 2: other very dangerous cities around the country. So the question, now,
- 29:00Speaker 2: how is this to the Democrats? Who side are you on?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Are you willing to be on the side of all
- 29:05Speaker 2: of the lawbreakers, the rapists, the murderers or drug dealers,
- 29:08Speaker 2: the child molesters, the illegal immigrants, or are you going
- 29:12Speaker 2: to be on the side of the American people. Yes,
- 29:14Speaker 2: that may mean that you actually have to agree with
- 29:16Speaker 2: Donald Trump on an issue. Is it really worth the
- 29:19Speaker 2: lives of Americans just so you can oppose Donald Trump?
- 29:22Speaker 1: On something as simple as crime.
- 29:24Speaker 2: That's the question the press should be asking, and it's
- 29:28Speaker 2: the question that's already been answered by so many American voters.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Don't forget Share this podcast please with your family and
- 29:35Speaker 2: your friends wherever they are, and I will see you
- 29:38Speaker 2: back here tomorrow
