- 2:13Speaker 1: began her professional career working in education and nonprofits. Education
- 2:18Speaker 1: and nonprofits. When she started trading stocks nine years ago,
- 2:22Speaker 1: she initially saw this as an opportunity to simply supplement
- 2:25Speaker 1: her income elected world supplement her income. However, she was
- 2:29Speaker 1: so successful with with this side hustle. I love why
- 2:32Speaker 1: to start no our profit? And then it became supplemental income.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Then it became a side hustle. Then in twenty seven teen,
- 2:40Speaker 1: she decided to queit her job so we'd be on
- 2:42Speaker 1: the south hustle now travel the world and begin trading
- 2:45Speaker 1: stock full time. Investing. Invest with Terry provides education and
- 2:50Speaker 1: coaching on how to invest in the stock market. Please
- 2:52Speaker 1: work with the money making conversation Terry e g oh my,
- 2:59Speaker 1: First of all, I just got to go back to
- 3:01Speaker 1: that intro, you know, education to know our profit. Then
- 3:04Speaker 1: it became, you know, just a simple way to supplement
- 3:07Speaker 1: my income. Then it became a side hustle, and then
- 3:10Speaker 1: you decided just to quit. Okay, walk us through all
- 3:14Speaker 1: those steps, because that's a journey that allows us to
- 3:17Speaker 1: talk about what you're doing today with invest with Terry.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It was it was a journey, and you know what
- 3:24Speaker 1: I would say, I think it was actually a mindset
- 3:27Speaker 1: journey because I learned about investing in high school, and
- 3:31Speaker 1: I learned about it like the year that Google I
- 3:33Speaker 1: p O. So if you can just imagine me learning
- 3:36Speaker 1: about stocks and then Google ip on it eighty three
- 3:39Speaker 1: dollars and what it would have done for me if
- 3:42Speaker 1: I had invested back then. But nobody in my family
- 3:45Speaker 1: knew anything about stocks, so we knew it was a
- 3:48Speaker 1: good thing, but I didn't know how to do it.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And so going into college, I went to M I
- 3:53Speaker 1: T and Studies on Wall Street because I'm still interested
- 3:56Speaker 1: in what is the whole stock thing? So, Terry Hold,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you just blew paths in my tea like that, you know,
- 4:03Speaker 1: for junior college, I went to in my tea. Okay,
- 4:07Speaker 1: that's what you're not gonna do with my show, Terry.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's come on my show and act like I can't
- 4:11Speaker 1: hear success. I can't hear significant things when they're said
- 4:15Speaker 1: to me. You keep talking, but I'm gonna interrupt you
- 4:17Speaker 1: if you say anything else like that and not slow down.
- 4:21Speaker 1: You know you're supposed to. Went and I went to
- 4:23Speaker 1: M I T. Thank you. Yes, I'm kind of smart,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but yes, So I went to M MY T. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: they kind of funneled us into two paths. You neither
- 4:40Speaker 1: go to Wall Street or you do consulting, because you know,
- 4:43Speaker 1: they think, okay, use that mind to problem solved. And
- 4:46Speaker 1: so I went to Wall Street and again I was
- 4:50Speaker 1: exponed to this whole world of investing. But this is
- 4:53Speaker 1: a mindset part in my mind because where I had
- 4:56Speaker 1: grown up, like I didn't grow up with money. I
- 4:59Speaker 1: had always associate add people on Wall Street with like,
- 5:02Speaker 1: you know, arrogantness. Um, they're just not good this, this
- 5:07Speaker 1: is not a good industry. So even though I had
- 5:10Speaker 1: this great opportunity, I was like, no, I'm not gonna
- 5:13Speaker 1: do that. I'm gonna go into consulting. And then one
- 5:16Speaker 1: of my clients with education. So I went into this
- 5:18Speaker 1: whole education route because I felt like, well, that's where
- 5:22Speaker 1: the heroes are. That's what I had seen. The heroes
- 5:25Speaker 1: are in education, the heroes are in ministry. And so
- 5:28Speaker 1: I think a lot of our communities, like we have
- 5:31Speaker 1: that mindset. There's like this aversion to big money, but
- 5:36Speaker 1: money or not realizing that a lot of people are
- 5:41Speaker 1: living successful lives doing this, you know, because we we
- 5:44Speaker 1: we see the we see you know, with the Warren
- 5:47Speaker 1: Buffets and the Bill Gates and all these people out there.
- 5:50Speaker 1: They're our new celebrities now where previously with just athletes
- 5:54Speaker 1: and just entertainers, but now the tech world has created
- 5:57Speaker 1: this whole world of just celebrity is in the stock world.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And so to me, it always felt like it was
- 6:04Speaker 1: like they were there, but it seemed like they were ghosts.
- 6:07Speaker 1: They were unattainable because of the knowledge. You feel me,
- 6:11Speaker 1: because of the fact that that's how that's how we
- 6:13Speaker 1: deny ourselves on a lot of opportunities because we feel
- 6:16Speaker 1: I can't do that, that's not me. I can't live
- 6:17Speaker 1: in that neighborhood, or I never live in that neighborhood,
- 6:20Speaker 1: or I'll never be associated with those type of people.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And that's what you were saying earlier, were talking about
- 6:24Speaker 1: the mindset. Yes, yes, and we do that so much
- 6:29Speaker 1: even when him I think, so, I have a school now,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and I know we're fast forwarding. I'm jumping, but jump
- 6:36Speaker 1: you jump past the quick your job, You jumped past
- 6:39Speaker 1: the side hustle, you jumped, you dumped path to travel
- 6:42Speaker 1: the world. I don't know. Are you trying to take
- 6:44Speaker 1: all my interview? You knows I need I need to
- 6:47Speaker 1: be told here. Okay, let's go back to the side. Yes, okay,
- 6:54Speaker 1: we have so much I want to tell you. But
- 6:59Speaker 1: so what happened was I had this knowledge from Wall Street,
- 7:03Speaker 1: but I went into education around for about ten years.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But because I still knew how to invest, I started
- 7:08Speaker 1: using it as a side hustle to supplement my income.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And the big thing for me was I didn't need
- 7:15Speaker 1: a lot because as an educator, my salary wasn't that big.
- 7:18Speaker 1: So for me to even replace my whole salary was
- 7:21Speaker 1: just three hundred dollars a day. So yeah, So when
- 7:25Speaker 1: I decided that I'm actually gonna I'm not happy here, like,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I got really stressed out. I wasn't having a good
- 7:31Speaker 1: time to my job, and I needed an exit strategy.
- 7:34Speaker 1: When I decided that, you know what, I need to leave,
- 7:36Speaker 1: it was really just, okay, what is my freedom number? Well,
- 7:39Speaker 1: my freedom number is just three hundred dollars a day.
- 7:42Speaker 1: If I could just make three hundred dollars a day,
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'll be good. And I started learning how to do
- 7:46Speaker 1: that with stocks, and I worked myself up. At first,
- 7:49Speaker 1: it was okay, let me just be positive. Then it
- 7:52Speaker 1: was okay, let me make a hundred dollars a day,
- 7:54Speaker 1: two hundred, and then when I started hitting that three
- 7:56Speaker 1: hundred dollars, I was like, oh, I'm out of here.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You know, I started walking them up different, But I went,
- 8:02Speaker 1: y'all want to say something crazy to me today because
- 8:05Speaker 1: I can leave? Hey, Terry, Terry, how's that? How's that?
- 8:10Speaker 1: How's that? Walking a little different? Look if the people
- 8:13Speaker 1: notice you were walking different in the break room with
- 8:15Speaker 1: different sets of food and everything we did, and you thought,
- 8:19Speaker 1: what's crazy? Is I think my bosses could tell that
- 8:22Speaker 1: I was walking different. I even had a meeting one
- 8:25Speaker 1: time and it was like four of my bosses. I
- 8:27Speaker 1: don't know why I had so many bosses in education,
- 8:29Speaker 1: but it was. It was crazy. And they even asked
- 8:32Speaker 1: me in a meeting like are you thinking about leaving?
- 8:35Speaker 1: And like the whole like their hold demeanor towards me chained.
- 8:38Speaker 1: All of a sudden, they started trying to like hold
- 8:41Speaker 1: me down. Isn't that really crazy? How people will not
- 8:45Speaker 1: uplift you when they see you can do better. You know,
- 8:48Speaker 1: but they'll tell you but they're cool with you as
- 8:51Speaker 1: long as they feel that you they're equal. But when
- 8:53Speaker 1: they see you in a position to do better, then
- 8:56Speaker 1: they want to hold you back or contradict you a
- 8:59Speaker 1: question your motives as to why you're still at this job,
- 9:03Speaker 1: and go and start damping your start, you know, start
- 9:06Speaker 1: damaging your reputation. It's really sad what people will do.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I remember when I quit IBM, I thought I was
- 9:11Speaker 1: the greatest employee ever at IBM. I really did. I thought.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I thought when I left, IBM was shut down. I
- 9:18Speaker 1: thought I was that great. When I told my supervisor
- 9:21Speaker 1: that I was resigning to go tell do stand up comedy,
- 9:25Speaker 1: he said, wait right here. He when he got security,
- 9:30Speaker 1: He when he got security, walked me out. Don't go,
- 9:33Speaker 1: don't go near your desk. Don't go near your desk. Well,
- 9:36Speaker 1: we'll send you your stuff, because that's how life is.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's why I tell people, follow your dreams, follow you
- 9:44Speaker 1: because what you may think there is and there's nothing negative.
- 9:47Speaker 1: All companies do that. I do that to my company.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You gotta protect your secrets. You You just can't have
- 9:51Speaker 1: an employee who doesn't have respect for what you're doing.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Just walk around the office and just start picking up stuff,
- 9:57Speaker 1: because they might pick up the wrong thing. It might
- 9:59Speaker 1: take a take something with you that you probably need
- 10:01Speaker 1: to have to bring them back in and ask for it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: So so I know exactly what you were talking about.
- 10:06Speaker 1: And when I tell that story, it's just a story
- 10:08Speaker 1: I gotta tell to everybody to know that, you know,
- 10:11Speaker 1: your value can be perceived based on what they need
- 10:15Speaker 1: from you. That's anybody. Yeah, yeah, And so you start
- 10:19Speaker 1: doing better now these four people staying that you're talking
- 10:22Speaker 1: about mm hmm yep. And I wanted to actually go
- 10:27Speaker 1: take an invest in class like it during while I
- 10:29Speaker 1: was assistant principle. I'm still doing my job, like they
- 10:32Speaker 1: couldn't even deny that yet, You're meeting all the objectives
- 10:35Speaker 1: on your resume. But when I asked them, can I
- 10:38Speaker 1: just take off a few days to go take this
- 10:40Speaker 1: investing class? Do you know? One of the bosses came
- 10:42Speaker 1: to my office and he said, looked, Terry, I just
- 10:44Speaker 1: need to let you know if you go and take
- 10:47Speaker 1: that class, they will fire you. And I was like, what,
- 10:50Speaker 1: because you would think like being able to invest that
- 10:53Speaker 1: problem solving, that's being able to make quick decisions like
- 10:56Speaker 1: these are skill sets that I could be helping my company,
- 10:59Speaker 1: but it's building me steel sad. But no, they were
- 11:03Speaker 1: threatened by it, which was really really sad. Right because
- 11:08Speaker 1: of the fact that you were engaging in an opportunity
- 11:10Speaker 1: that they couldn't participate in. And what were saying is,
- 11:14Speaker 1: believe me, they're good people that she's talking about, but
- 11:17Speaker 1: they're just caught up in their their dreams. You can't
- 11:19Speaker 1: let their dreams become your dreams. And that's what was
- 11:22Speaker 1: happening in your life. You are You had a mindset
- 11:25Speaker 1: that you know you couldn't do the Wall Street thing,
- 11:28Speaker 1: so you settled back. But you always above them. You
- 11:31Speaker 1: are always above them, Terry, and a lot of people
- 11:33Speaker 1: don't understand that that you know, you can walk or lifestyle,
- 11:38Speaker 1: but it cannot be your lifestyle if you're not committed.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And after that, but that's what started to happen. You know,
- 11:43Speaker 1: you're going, you know, somebody to do better. And then
- 11:45Speaker 1: when people start seeing you do better, they started questioning
- 11:47Speaker 1: your commitment. Yes, yes, and you know what's go I'm
- 11:54Speaker 1: about to say. Then that's when we had to exit
- 11:56Speaker 1: right there. That's when we started traveling the world, beginning
- 11:59Speaker 1: full time investment, and Terry becomes an education and coaching
- 12:03Speaker 1: on how to invest in the stock markets. I'm fast
- 12:06Speaker 1: forward you now. I'm moving you forward now because we
- 12:09Speaker 1: got the reality of what I needed the people on
- 12:12Speaker 1: my shoulder here is that you gotta change your mindset.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You gotta believe in yourself. And when you start believing yourself,
- 12:18Speaker 1: people will question you, a challenge your motivation for change,
- 12:22Speaker 1: personal change. You gotta look past that those challenges and
- 12:27Speaker 1: stick with your plan. And then she went, you know something,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I'm making three hundred dollars a day. That's what I make.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Kid walking around with these four people staring at me
- 12:34Speaker 1: every day. I'm just gonna take my love, my little
- 12:37Speaker 1: three hundred plus because she she's a little bit above
- 12:40Speaker 1: the three hundred days, because she hugging as long as
- 12:43Speaker 1: she could. Just what I did. I told jokes as
- 12:46Speaker 1: long as I could, and I be m Then I realized,
- 12:47Speaker 1: you know something, I can't do this no more. I
- 12:50Speaker 1: gotta go live my dreams. So where did you go
- 12:52Speaker 1: first when you start traveling the world, Terry? So I
- 12:57Speaker 1: quit and South Korea, and then I went then did
- 13:02Speaker 1: Nam and I stayed in all these places like a
- 13:04Speaker 1: month at a time. Best life. Oh my goodness, this
- 13:10Speaker 1: is wonderful. So so I'm talking to Terry, you know more,
- 13:15Speaker 1: and she's talking about that messed up the time, e
- 13:19Speaker 1: g oma, excuse me, there we go, Terry e g om.
- 13:22Speaker 1: There we go, Obama. I gotta keep that Oma the
- 13:25Speaker 1: Obama Terry e Oma. Okay, we're all good there. But
- 13:30Speaker 1: she's talking about her life, her career, how to how
- 13:33Speaker 1: to overcome the odds and become a person that in
- 13:36Speaker 1: my tea grad. You know, she just lived that past.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But I had to bring her back. See what I
- 13:40Speaker 1: gotta do on my show with Terry is realized and
- 13:42Speaker 1: remind her how great she is. Because sometimes when you
- 13:44Speaker 1: accomplished things like Terry you could, it becomes so simple,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it's so regular that she had talked about it, don't
- 13:49Speaker 1: realize that those great moments need to be amplified. And
- 13:53Speaker 1: that's what we do with money making shows, money making conversations.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I amplify success. I amplify the opportunity to tell people
- 14:00Speaker 1: why you are great. Because when you come on Money
- 14:01Speaker 1: Making Conversation, you're here to give people information. Now tell
- 14:04Speaker 1: you when you come back, you're gonna we're gonna talk

- 16:07Speaker 1: that sounds good, awesome. We'll be right back with more
- 16:09Speaker 1: money making conversations. Mcgara, Terry em Hi. This is R
- 16:14Speaker 1: Sean McDonald and you're listening to money making conversations on
- 16:17Speaker 1: the phone. Is Terry e g Oma. She is an
- 16:20Speaker 1: investment shock. She does that for a living degree from
- 16:24Speaker 1: M I T. She travels the world and the most
- 16:27Speaker 1: importantly she's following her dreams. So Terry, tell us what
- 16:30Speaker 1: you're involved in right now? So now I have of
- 16:34Speaker 1: course that teaches people how to trade, and our goal
- 16:38Speaker 1: is to help one thousand people to make a thousand
- 16:40Speaker 1: dollars in a day. So we call it the million
- 16:42Speaker 1: dollars a Day campaign because we're just thinking, if we
- 16:45Speaker 1: teach a thousand people to make a thousand dollars in
- 16:47Speaker 1: a day, that's a million dollars a day, and then
- 16:50Speaker 1: that's in our communities. Like what kind of impact could
- 16:53Speaker 1: we have if we're generating a million dollars a day?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Like we could change so many things, from the school
- 16:59Speaker 1: system to health care to mental health, Like so many
- 17:02Speaker 1: things could be impacted by us learning how to generate
- 17:05Speaker 1: our own income. So that's what we're doing right now
- 17:08Speaker 1: in our trade and travel program. Okay, when you say
- 17:10Speaker 1: the word us, I'm just talking to you. Who is us?
- 17:15Speaker 1: Well me, but I think of all the people that
- 17:18Speaker 1: like all of my students, as is my family. So
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm thinking us, like we have or we have over
- 17:24Speaker 1: eleven hundred students now and they're they're everywhere there doctor's
- 17:29Speaker 1: lawyer's principle, and so I'm teaching them how to make
- 17:32Speaker 1: a thousand dollars in a day, and they're doing it
- 17:35Speaker 1: like they are killing the game, Like even right now
- 17:38Speaker 1: with the market following, they're making money. Like literally they're
- 17:42Speaker 1: sending me texting us to do even today. That's like Terry,
- 17:45Speaker 1: in the first thirty minutes of the market, I've made
- 17:47Speaker 1: my two thousand, I'm done for the week. I'm like,
- 17:49Speaker 1: they're they are killing the game. So that's what that's
- 17:53Speaker 1: what I'm working on right now, just changing the narrative
- 17:55Speaker 1: by helping us generate income for ourselves. Okay, how do
- 17:59Speaker 1: I Shwan mcdollar, Because I'm gonna tell you something. I
- 18:02Speaker 1: could never have enough money. You know what I'm saying.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I need I just Shan McDon or somebody like with
- 18:08Speaker 1: shall oh somebody not like with Shan mcdonne. Get involved
- 18:10Speaker 1: with your program because it tells me here you have
- 18:13Speaker 1: four main topics, right, yes, so be so in my
- 18:18Speaker 1: program is in trade and travel. There's four big areas.
- 18:22Speaker 1: The first one is you gotta learn how to pick
- 18:24Speaker 1: good companies, and like that's crucial. What I see a
- 18:26Speaker 1: lot of people doing is they say, well, I don't
- 18:28Speaker 1: have a lot of money, so I'm gonna go pick
- 18:30Speaker 1: up penny stocks. That is the worst thing you can
- 18:32Speaker 1: ever do. If you're really wanting to make good income,
- 18:35Speaker 1: you have to pick value companies that are healthy that
- 18:38Speaker 1: you know will be around for a while, so like
- 18:41Speaker 1: we really really want to go with healthy companies. Then
- 18:44Speaker 1: we go into risk management, like one of what I've
- 18:47Speaker 1: been trading for a long time now, but in my
- 18:49Speaker 1: first six years I would make a little bit and
- 18:51Speaker 1: then lose a lot and then make a little bit.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So you can't you can't be successful like that. You
- 18:56Speaker 1: have to have some type of risk management planning to
- 18:58Speaker 1: protect yourself from moving, and just so many ways to
- 19:01Speaker 1: do that. We just don't know. No one's taught us.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Like there's order types like stop blocks orders, and there's
- 19:07Speaker 1: ways to calculate your quantity side, Like sometimes we get
- 19:10Speaker 1: so we think that our our trade is gonna make
- 19:13Speaker 1: us reach tomorrow, so we just buy all the shares
- 19:16Speaker 1: and then it's like, wait, it didn't work out. Now
- 19:18Speaker 1: I'm broke. That's all that's part of recent management. So
- 19:22Speaker 1: we teach risk management, and then the next thing I
- 19:25Speaker 1: teach is in charting. So in order to figure out
- 19:29Speaker 1: the best time to get in or out of a stock,
- 19:31Speaker 1: you have to learn how to read a chart. That's
- 19:34Speaker 1: another thing that I see Novice investors like skipping, so
- 19:37Speaker 1: they'll find a company they like and then they'll get
- 19:40Speaker 1: in at any price. But then they realize that, oh man,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I just got in at the highs and now it's
- 19:44Speaker 1: going against me and I'm losing money. Knowing what price
- 19:48Speaker 1: to get into a stock is determined by reading charts.
- 19:51Speaker 1: So I teach people how to read a stock chart,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and then we go into a trading plan, because in
- 19:56Speaker 1: order to have consistency, you need a consistent plan. Like
- 19:59Speaker 1: every every time I trade a trade, I do seven steps,
- 20:02Speaker 1: and that's what I keep. I keep my seven steps strategy.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Like if you do those seven steps every time, you
- 20:07Speaker 1: can get consistency. Like that's how I made it three
- 20:10Speaker 1: hundred dollars a day. That's how I've now grown to
- 20:12Speaker 1: Oh well, I've grown over a hundred thousand dollars in
- 20:15Speaker 1: a day. But I grew to a thousand dollars in
- 20:17Speaker 1: a day. And then continue. Now, one thing I hear,
- 20:24Speaker 1: because say Rushan McDonald wants to jump in, I can't
- 20:27Speaker 1: jump in with a part time mentality. This has to
- 20:30Speaker 1: be a commitment. Correct it does. Now, let me let
- 20:35Speaker 1: me make one correction. Though some people feel like I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: just gonna be staring in front of a screen and
- 20:40Speaker 1: it takes all day. It does not take all day,
- 20:42Speaker 1: like you can trade within two to four hours a day,
- 20:45Speaker 1: Like you don't need all day to make your money.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Um And and what makes that less time is a chart.
- 20:52Speaker 1: When you learn how to read the charts, it takes
- 20:54Speaker 1: less time. But yes, it should be something that you're
- 20:57Speaker 1: committed to. You don't want to have like one ft
- 20:59Speaker 1: in and down right I'm talking about. What I'm saying
- 21:05Speaker 1: is that is that Okay, the worst part about a
- 21:08Speaker 1: person like me or a person who here's your story.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Oh I want to make a thousand dollars day. Okay, Okay,
- 21:14Speaker 1: Now there's homework. Like you said, there are steps. You
- 21:17Speaker 1: gotta learn how to read your charts so you can't
- 21:20Speaker 1: come back screaming that tearry going. It didn't work for me.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Okay what kind of work did you put in though?
- 21:25Speaker 1: Did you think this was just gonna be Because a
- 21:27Speaker 1: lot of people want to have that lottery mentality, They
- 21:29Speaker 1: want to put their pick their numbers and win. And
- 21:33Speaker 1: I always tell people all the time, people who are
- 21:34Speaker 1: in the lottery, they put in a lottery, a lot
- 21:37Speaker 1: they were just walking there on the day to numbers
- 21:39Speaker 1: high and everybody's standing in the line to get it.
- 21:42Speaker 1: These people play all the time, and so it's the
- 21:45Speaker 1: same thing with stock. You have to be committed all
- 21:49Speaker 1: the time. Now, how much time you give it's up
- 21:52Speaker 1: to you, but you still have to be consistent with it.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And that's the story you're telling on my show today. Correct. Yes,
- 21:58Speaker 1: it's like learning a new language. You don't just all
- 22:01Speaker 1: of a sudden become fluent. Like no, you gotta learn
- 22:03Speaker 1: the alphabet. You have to learn sentences, practice. It takes
- 22:07Speaker 1: time and practice, and then you become fluent. It's just
- 22:10Speaker 1: the same way learning to trade. I compare it to
- 22:13Speaker 1: like learning a new language. And then once you know
- 22:15Speaker 1: the language, you don't have to use it all the time.
- 22:17Speaker 1: You can pick and choose when you decide to trade,
- 22:20Speaker 1: but at least you know the skill set and you
- 22:23Speaker 1: can have that forever, which is nice, which is really funny.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I really love the fact that when I'm talking to you,
- 22:29Speaker 1: there's an energy in your voice, which means they're you're
- 22:31Speaker 1: still enthusied about providing this information to people and making
- 22:35Speaker 1: them successful. That's really that's it is that the education
- 22:38Speaker 1: is that the education part of you just still hanging
- 22:40Speaker 1: in there. You know you're right, Like sometimes be being
- 22:45Speaker 1: an entrepreneur in general can be kind of training, like
- 22:48Speaker 1: we all know, like it takes a lot to a
- 22:50Speaker 1: lot of effort, a lot of energy to be able
- 22:53Speaker 1: to just provide any service. But I just get excited. Boy,
- 22:56Speaker 1: my students like waking up today knowing that they can
- 22:59Speaker 1: provide their families even during layoffs and coronavirus time because
- 23:04Speaker 1: they have the skill set or they're not worried, and
- 23:08Speaker 1: like they don't feel helpless when the market falls because
- 23:10Speaker 1: they know how to control their bundy. Like knowing that
- 23:13Speaker 1: that kind of life changing like transformations are happening gets
- 23:18Speaker 1: me excited. I still I still love what I do well.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I can tell in your voice. And now that's important
- 23:24Speaker 1: that I make that translation obvious to everybody who's listeners,
- 23:28Speaker 1: that you really want to be in people who who
- 23:30Speaker 1: will give you information and they have passion tied to it,
- 23:33Speaker 1: and they have love tied to it, and they have enthusiasms.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Because there's a lot of people out that they give
- 23:37Speaker 1: you information, but it's just a job to them, it's
- 23:40Speaker 1: just a job. They just they want you to invest
- 23:43Speaker 1: in their idea and then they want to get that
- 23:45Speaker 1: little money that you used to invest in their idea,
- 23:47Speaker 1: and that's it. And I hear a certain, a certain
- 23:51Speaker 1: youthfulness in being able to say, you know something, you
- 23:55Speaker 1: can be met and that and it's not impossible. Well see,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I know I can't be warm Buffett. I know I
- 24:01Speaker 1: can't do that person. He's so far ahead of the
- 24:03Speaker 1: food change is ridiculous. But I can be terry em
- 24:08Speaker 1: If you can, you can, And I want you to,
- 24:11Speaker 1: like that's the key, Like I want other people to
- 24:13Speaker 1: be like me. I want you to be able to
- 24:15Speaker 1: have freedom, even if you don't want to quit your job,
- 24:17Speaker 1: but at least you have the money on the side
- 24:19Speaker 1: that you know that no one else thinks control. You know,
- 24:23Speaker 1: if you don't want to travel, that's cool, but you
- 24:25Speaker 1: know you could if you wanted to. Like you can
- 24:26Speaker 1: pay off your student loans. I've paid off my student loans,
- 24:29Speaker 1: I've paid off my mortgage, like all these things like
- 24:33Speaker 1: that kind of reality and freedom you can get from
- 24:36Speaker 1: trading stocks. And I think that's the key. I want
- 24:39Speaker 1: to just change the narrative. So many people think it's
- 24:41Speaker 1: just like a long term wait till I retired, but no,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you could use the money right now to do whatever
- 24:47Speaker 1: you want to do. Okay, before we I know the
- 24:49Speaker 1: interview is gonna come to the end, I want you
- 24:51Speaker 1: to go over this webinar series called Power one million,
- 24:55Speaker 1: and you're currently hosting a thousand dollars in the Day
- 24:58Speaker 1: campaign and those four in parts again and also how
- 25:01Speaker 1: they can be a part of it. Sure. So first,
- 25:06Speaker 1: if anybody wants to learn how I make a thousand
- 25:08Speaker 1: dollars in a day, the best website is I Trade
- 25:11Speaker 1: in Travel dot com. So that's I Trade and Travel
- 25:16Speaker 1: dot com. And there's free webinar there you can learn
- 25:19Speaker 1: like my four key points that I talked about today,
- 25:22Speaker 1: So go to I Trade and Travel dot com and
- 25:25Speaker 1: stick out the webinar. But the campaign, the million dollars
- 25:29Speaker 1: a Day campaign, is we're teaching a thousand people to
- 25:31Speaker 1: make a thousand dollars in a day. And there's three
- 25:34Speaker 1: ways you can get involved. Like one, join my course
- 25:36Speaker 1: and learn for yourself so that you're one of the
- 25:39Speaker 1: thousands to learn how to make your own money. And
- 25:42Speaker 1: and the key is how much money you make will
- 25:45Speaker 1: be determined to how much you're investing. So I don't
- 25:48Speaker 1: want everyone to think like, well, I'm gonna start with
- 25:50Speaker 1: five hundred dollars and then just make um a thousand,
- 25:54Speaker 1: because like, my goal actually is for you to make
- 25:56Speaker 1: one percent of your cash amount a day. So even
- 25:58Speaker 1: if that's you're investing two thousand dollars and you make
- 26:01Speaker 1: your twention dollars a day, that's still good money. That's
- 26:03Speaker 1: a hundred extra dollars a week. That's four hundred dollars
- 26:07Speaker 1: a month. That's twenty percent in return, which is better
- 26:09Speaker 1: than the market. Right, So we're taking we're doing small,
- 26:13Speaker 1: small chunk, small attainable goals. So like that's our goals.
- 26:17Speaker 1: The first you can join the course, you can learn
- 26:19Speaker 1: how to make your money work for you yourself. The
- 26:22Speaker 1: second thing you could do to be part of a
- 26:23Speaker 1: million dollars a day is tell someone else. So if
- 26:26Speaker 1: maybe you don't want to invest, but you know your
- 26:28Speaker 1: son does, or your nephew or someone that like women,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'm of course I'm a woman, so I'm always gonna
- 26:34Speaker 1: be advocating your your wife, your sister, your daughter, or
- 26:37Speaker 1: your aunt, um, like make sure that you can also
- 26:42Speaker 1: buy the course for them so they can learn how
- 26:44Speaker 1: to trade. And then the last thing is sponsor a students.
- 26:48Speaker 1: So one of the things that I absolutely love about
- 26:50Speaker 1: my course is that any age group can take it.
- 26:53Speaker 1: They's either like I have people in retirement getting ready
- 26:56Speaker 1: to retire. They're learning to trade so that they can retire.
- 27:00Speaker 1: People in there like thirty supporties. They're like me with
- 27:02Speaker 1: the side umps. I just want to do something different.
- 27:05Speaker 1: They have some savings in their account. Or you could
- 27:07Speaker 1: go to the high school and college. Remember I was
- 27:10Speaker 1: in high school when I first learned, and I just
- 27:12Speaker 1: I wish that someone knew how to do it back then,
- 27:16Speaker 1: to sponsor someone. But those are some ways you to
- 27:18Speaker 1: get involved with a million dollars a thing. Well, you know,
- 27:21Speaker 1: the thing about it is that I, you know, two thousand,
- 27:25Speaker 1: I invested into stock. I you know, I was and
- 27:29Speaker 1: I went with the theory of go for your shop
- 27:32Speaker 1: and I went to home. I shopped at home depot,
- 27:35Speaker 1: I shopped at I bought Microsoft, I bought Intail, you know,
- 27:39Speaker 1: I bought um, you know, a oil. At the time,
- 27:42Speaker 1: we all know that wasn't a good bye. But but
- 27:45Speaker 1: thee did pretty good, pretty good. You know, I was
- 27:49Speaker 1: rocking now, I was rocking now, you know. But but
- 27:52Speaker 1: but that was that was a good theory because the
- 27:54Speaker 1: fact that a lot of times if you if you're
- 27:56Speaker 1: supporting it, then that's a good idea that you maybe
- 28:00Speaker 1: that might be what you should put your money. So,
- 28:02Speaker 1: so when you look at your course, how does your
- 28:04Speaker 1: course differ from other investing courses? Terry? So there's, yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: there's a couple of things. One, so I agree with
- 28:13Speaker 1: you that it's good to invest in companies that are
- 28:16Speaker 1: that you're familiar with. But a lot of times that's
- 28:18Speaker 1: called trend trading. A trend trader will just get into
- 28:22Speaker 1: a stock that they're familiar with and then like kind
- 28:25Speaker 1: of let it go like a buying hole. But I
- 28:28Speaker 1: have found though, if there's some companies that we are
- 28:30Speaker 1: part of that are not good company to investing. So
- 28:33Speaker 1: for example, like Forward, I had a Forward car forever,
- 28:37Speaker 1: but the stock was not a good stock to investing.
- 28:40Speaker 1: So the difference is like learning how to do that
- 28:43Speaker 1: technical analysis piece, learning how to actually time your trades correctly,
- 28:47Speaker 1: learning that risk management piece. Those are key things that
- 28:51Speaker 1: are different in my course than other courses. Wow and
- 28:55Speaker 1: then yeah, now now, so so that's the I'm doing
- 28:59Speaker 1: something you hit me dead on, Okay, because of the
- 29:01Speaker 1: fact that I didn't do any education. I'm just going
- 29:04Speaker 1: out to hearing rumors theories. You know, invest on where
- 29:08Speaker 1: you eat, invest on where your shop, invest on where
- 29:11Speaker 1: you work. Those are simple theories that have no relevancy
- 29:14Speaker 1: to the bigger picture. Like you said, I was a
- 29:16Speaker 1: trend investor and I hadn't. I wasn't watching any charts.
- 29:21Speaker 1: You know. I would watch the news and go, oh,
- 29:23Speaker 1: Bam books. Let me go buy Bam books. That's hot
- 29:26Speaker 1: right now. Oh a O. L that the That is
- 29:29Speaker 1: the quickest way to lose money. Because a lot of
- 29:31Speaker 1: times when we hear about a company, it's already high,
- 29:35Speaker 1: so it's right about the fall by the time we
- 29:37Speaker 1: actually hear about it. And that's gonna worry about the money. See,
- 29:40Speaker 1: I was an investor, and you're telling me, Rashwan, you
- 29:43Speaker 1: cannot be an investor. Come over to you and you
- 29:46Speaker 1: will be an investor that has information, knowledge, a plan
- 29:49Speaker 1: of action, and a plan of action that can help
- 29:52Speaker 1: you win. Terry, you're amazing. Thank you for coming. We
- 29:59Speaker 1: get everything in because I want to make sure it
- 30:01Speaker 1: goes because you in the beginning you win. I want

- 30:12Speaker 1: got it all in and if I think honestly, it's

- 30:22Speaker 1: coming on Money Making Conversation and also send me some bandages.
