- 0:00Speaker 1: Joe Biden has dropped out of the presidential race.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It is official.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Not only has Biden dropped out of the race, but
- 0:11Speaker 1: in his first letter to the country about him dropping
- 0:14Speaker 1: out of the race, he did not endorse Kamala Harris.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Why.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Maybe he needed leverage to get what he needs to
- 0:24Speaker 1: protect himself and his fail for their corruption with immunity.
- 0:31Speaker 1: This is a shocking moment in presidential history. It is
- 0:36Speaker 1: a shocking moment in political history. It is a shocking
- 0:41Speaker 1: moment for a president to not endorse his vice president
- 0:46Speaker 1: and then have to redo the statement after maybe he
- 0:50Speaker 1: got the deal done that he needed to get done
- 0:52Speaker 1: to then endorse her who is not endorsing Kamala Harris
- 0:57Speaker 1: is also shocking, meaning I think there's a very good
- 1:00Speaker 1: chance this could be a bloodbath of a fight at
- 1:04Speaker 1: the convention the Obamas and Pelosi.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Let me say this again.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Obama and Pelosi do not endorse Kamala Harris. This is
- 1:17Speaker 1: twenty twenty four chaos, and it is just the beginning. Now,
- 1:22Speaker 1: if you are a conservative, before you get too excited
- 1:25Speaker 1: about what I just told you, you need to understand
- 1:29Speaker 1: that the lead that Donald Trump has right now over
- 1:31Speaker 1: Joe Biden is meaningless and worthless. Let me also say this,
- 1:37Speaker 1: the lead that he has right now doesn't matter at
- 1:41Speaker 1: all for whoever the next candidate is why because the
- 1:46Speaker 1: media is about to coordinate someone who is the greatest
- 1:50Speaker 1: thing they've ever introduced to America. What you are witnessing
- 1:56Speaker 1: and what you are about to witness is going to
- 1:59Speaker 1: anger many of you that are conservatives, because the Democratic
- 2:02Speaker 1: Party and the media are going to give probably a
- 2:06Speaker 1: two billion dollar in kind donation and free advertising to
- 2:11Speaker 1: Kamala Harris or Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom or whoever
- 2:16Speaker 1: the hell the Democrats end up choosing. They are going
- 2:20Speaker 1: to tell you that they are the greatest thing ever.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I'm going to use this analogy for you so that
- 2:25Speaker 1: you understand how massive perspective can change things, a difference
- 2:31Speaker 1: that it can make. Imagine you're on the greatest cruise
- 2:34Speaker 1: ship in the world, and imagine that cruise ship hits
- 2:38Speaker 1: an iceberg. Imagine that cruise ship is going down and
- 2:43Speaker 1: you look out and you see these little dinghy in
- 2:46Speaker 1: the water. You see a little fishing boat that looks
- 2:50Speaker 1: like total and utter crap. You see another boat coming
- 2:54Speaker 1: that's a tiny, little beat up little vessel that has
- 2:57Speaker 1: terrible seating and a small engine. But you know, on
- 3:04Speaker 1: the ship that you're on right now, you're going to
- 3:06Speaker 1: die if you don't get off that ship and think
- 3:11Speaker 1: about how good those other ships look. That is basically
- 3:16Speaker 1: what we're dealing with in the Democratic Party right now.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Joe Biden was the Titanic and it hit an iceberg
- 3:25Speaker 1: and it was going down, and all these little crappy
- 3:28Speaker 1: boats are coming in, and by golly, if you're on
- 3:31Speaker 1: the Titanic, that is the most beautiful ship you've ever seen.
- 3:35Speaker 1: There will be no scrutiny about those ships. There will
- 3:39Speaker 1: be no scrutiny about the past maintenance of those ships.
- 3:42Speaker 1: There will be no scrutiny over what type of ship
- 3:45Speaker 1: it is or if it even has the licenses papers
- 3:48Speaker 1: needed to be on the ocean. There will be no
- 3:53Speaker 1: scrutiny of any of the people that are piloting these
- 3:57Speaker 1: little dinghies or vessels or crappy boat votes, because whoever
- 4:02Speaker 1: ends up getting the nomination, they are going to become
- 4:06Speaker 1: God to the media and to the Democratic Party. When
- 4:11Speaker 1: your ship is sinking, let me talk about the money
- 4:14Speaker 1: that's about to flow in to whoever it is that
- 4:17Speaker 1: gets this nomination, when you're on a Titanic and you're rich,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and you're like, well, I'm not giving you any more
- 4:25Speaker 1: of my money because this ship is sinking, right, very
- 4:28Speaker 1: much like the Biden campaign, another ship comes to save
- 4:32Speaker 1: the day and you're willing to pay whatever it takes.
- 4:36Speaker 2: To get off of that sinking ship.
- 4:38Speaker 1: That is exactly what is going to happen with whoever
- 4:42Speaker 1: gets the nomination. It is going to be a coronation
- 4:47Speaker 1: whoever the Democratic Party picks. And I think the front
- 4:50Speaker 1: runner is at this moment, Kamala Harris. She is Princess
- 4:54Speaker 1: Diana to the Democratic Party. She is a hero and
- 4:59Speaker 1: a savior because perspective is everything.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Perspective is everything.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's basically like an abusive relationship. You're willing to put
- 5:12Speaker 1: up with a lot more as long as the person
- 5:15Speaker 1: isn't trying to kill you. If you've ever been in
- 5:18Speaker 1: that situation, right, it's better than the alternative. Joe Biden
- 5:23Speaker 1: was worst case scenario for the Democratic Party. And now
- 5:27Speaker 1: Joe Biden has officially decided that he is going to
- 5:31Speaker 1: step aside. Now I didn't say resigned from the White House,
- 5:34Speaker 1: which is a question we should all be asking, and
- 5:37Speaker 1: we're going to deal with that coming up in a moment.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I'm also going to be joined by a dear friend
- 5:42Speaker 1: of mine, United States Center Ted Cruz is going to
- 5:46Speaker 1: join us in a moment to chat about.
- 5:48Speaker 2: All of this.
- 5:49Speaker 1: But before we even get to that, I want you
- 5:52Speaker 1: to hear how ABC News announced it to their audience
- 5:56Speaker 1: that Joe Biden is stepping aside.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Good afternoon, I'm Rachel Scott at ABC headquarters here in
- 6:02Speaker 3: New York. We are coming on the air at this
- 6:03Speaker 3: hour with breaking news. President Biden has just announced that
- 6:07Speaker 3: he is ending his reelection bid. Just moments ago, the
- 6:10Speaker 3: President tweeted out, it has been the greatest honor of
- 6:13Speaker 3: my life to serve as your president. Well, it has
- 6:15Speaker 3: been my intention to seek reelection. I believe it is
- 6:18Speaker 3: in the best interest of my party and the country
- 6:21Speaker 3: for me to stand down and to focus solely on
- 6:23Speaker 3: fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I will speak to the nation later this week in
- 6:29Speaker 3: more detail.
- 6:29Speaker 2: About my decision.
- 6:31Speaker 3: There are still so many questions yet to be decided,
- 6:34Speaker 3: and so little time before those questions need to be
- 6:36Speaker 3: figured out. So I want to go right away to
- 6:39Speaker 3: our chief Washington correspondent, John Carl John. We are just
- 6:42Speaker 3: one hundred days out from the November election. Pressure was
- 6:46Speaker 3: building on the president to step aside. Now he is
- 6:48Speaker 3: announcing that he has Rachel.
- 6:51Speaker 4: It's an extraordinary moment in American history. This is the
- 6:55Speaker 4: first time we have seen a sitting president bow out
- 7:00Speaker 4: of re election since Lyndon Van Johnson in nineteen sixty eight.
- 7:04Speaker 4: And it comes unlike Johnson's move, which happened in January
- 7:09Speaker 4: of that year. It comes after he has already gone
- 7:12Speaker 4: through a primary process, after he has already effectively won
- 7:16Speaker 4: the Democratic nomination, which now raises the huge questions, as
- 7:20Speaker 4: you allude to, of what happens next. In his letter
- 7:24Speaker 4: announcing this extraordinary decision, he mentions his Vice President Kamala Harris.
- 7:31Speaker 4: He says, I want to thank my Vice President Kamala
- 7:33Speaker 4: Harris for her extraord for being an extraordinary partner. But
- 7:37Speaker 4: he makes no reference about what he will do in
- 7:41Speaker 4: terms of an endorsement. Will he endorse, will he not endorse,
- 7:44Speaker 4: Will there be an open process what happens next? He
- 7:48Speaker 4: says he will talk to the nation in the coming
- 7:50Speaker 4: days more about his decision. But now the Democrats have
- 7:54Speaker 4: to figure out what happens. Who replaces Joe Biden as
- 7:58Speaker 4: the Democratic candidate's a president.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You listen to how they talk about this, and they
- 8:05Speaker 1: are not only elated, but they are estatic for the future.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And they don't even care who the future is. They
- 8:16Speaker 1: don't know who it's going to be. I don't know
- 8:20Speaker 1: if it's going to be Kamala's. She's the front runner.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it's gonna happen, but it's going to
- 8:24Speaker 1: be an all out war. Now, let's talk for just
- 8:29Speaker 1: a second about Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris is now the
- 8:33Speaker 1: greatest thing the Democratic Party's ever seen, even though she's
- 8:36Speaker 1: a woman that dropped out of the president's race and
- 8:38Speaker 1: everyone hated her and she was pulling it like three percent.
- 8:41Speaker 1: But when your ship is sinking, to use that analogy again,
- 8:45Speaker 1: you'll jump on any lifeboat, any rubber dinghy, It doesn't
- 8:48Speaker 1: matter what it is, because that is your savior in
- 8:51Speaker 1: that moment. This is the best case scenario for Kamala Harris.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Let me also tell you Kamala Harris was not like
- 8:57Speaker 1: by the Democratic Party either and the Democratic elite, but
- 9:01Speaker 1: right now she is the little lifeboat that showed up.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It may be ugly, it may have a bad track
- 9:07Speaker 1: record of the engine going out, but you're still gonna
- 9:09Speaker 1: get on it because it looks.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Like a life boat that's going to save your life.
- 9:14Speaker 1: The other problem is the media is going to give
- 9:17Speaker 1: an inkind donation of what is the equivalent of billions
- 9:22Speaker 1: of dollars in ad buys, okay, billions of dollars in
- 9:27Speaker 1: ad bys to whoever gets the nomination, and they're gonna
- 9:32Speaker 1: tell you that it is an amazing candidate whoever the
- 9:37Speaker 1: Democrats pick, and for the next thirty days. You also
- 9:39Speaker 1: have to understand about the disadvantage of Trump campaign has
- 9:42Speaker 1: Trump and trumping Jadie Vance? How do you campaign like?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Who do you campaign against? Do you spend your time
- 9:49Speaker 1: campaigning against you know, Michelle Obama? Do you spend your
- 9:53Speaker 1: time campaigning against Gavin Newsom? Do you spend your time
- 9:58Speaker 1: campaigning against Kamala Harris? Or do you spend your time
- 10:02Speaker 1: campaigning against the Democratic Party and Joe Biden's record in general? Now,
- 10:07Speaker 1: do I think that if it is Kamala Harris, there's
- 10:10Speaker 1: ways that we can beat her and Trump can win. Yes,
- 10:12Speaker 1: But I don't want you to be overconfident tonight because
- 10:16Speaker 1: coming out of Milwaukee. Guess what, no one's talking about
- 10:19Speaker 1: that now, are they? The timing of this to announce
- 10:22Speaker 1: this on Sunday, the day after the convention and suck
- 10:25Speaker 1: out all the oxygen ow of the room was a
- 10:29Speaker 1: brilliant political move by the Democratic Party. The polls don't matter,
- 10:34Speaker 1: that bump you normally get out of a convention doesn't matter. Hell,
- 10:37Speaker 1: Donald Trump and the assassination attempt has now old news
- 10:43Speaker 1: a week after it happened. That's how big and catastrophic
- 10:48Speaker 1: this news story is. And the Democrats are going to
- 10:52Speaker 1: ride this way for thirty days. This convention the Democrats
- 10:55Speaker 1: going to have is a thirty day convention. Now every
- 10:58Speaker 1: day it's going to be this story. Now, let me
- 11:01Speaker 1: also remind you of this. Kamala Harris is human. Kama Harris.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Maybe she gets the nomination. Okay, maybe it's really hers.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Maybe she gets it and she's able to be the
- 11:11Speaker 1: easy choice that people call us behind. Let's start with
- 11:14Speaker 1: that idea. Can we beat a Kamala Harris? I believe
- 11:20Speaker 1: we can. Why because she said a lot of really
- 11:22Speaker 1: stupid things in the past. Remember, Kamala Harris is not
- 11:26Speaker 1: that much better than Joe Biden.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Listen is today.
- 11:31Speaker 5: And yesterday was today, yesterday, tomorrow will be today tomorrow.
- 11:38Speaker 5: So live today, so the future today will be as
- 11:44Speaker 5: the past today as it is tomorrow.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Today.
- 11:52Speaker 1: That's Kamala Harris, Folks, that is the Kamala Harris that
- 11:55Speaker 1: we will be running against. That is Kamala Harris giving
- 11:59Speaker 1: an actual speed speech. That is not a joke. If
- 12:03Speaker 1: you're laughing right now, you should be laughing because that's
- 12:05Speaker 1: the Vice President United's America. That's how bad of a
- 12:08Speaker 1: candidate she is when we go after her one on one.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna play that again, and I want you to
- 12:14Speaker 1: try to follow along with Kamala Harris. This is Kamala
- 12:17Speaker 1: Harris at a public speech.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Today was today, yesterday, Tomorrow will be today tomorrow. So
- 12:27Speaker 5: live today, so the future today will be as the
- 12:32Speaker 5: past today as it is tomorrow.
- 12:39Speaker 2: That's Kamala Harris.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'm playing that for you to remind you of exactly
- 12:45Speaker 1: who Kamala Harris actually is.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Do I believe we can beat Kamala Harris? Yes I do.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Do I believe that Donald Trump can beat her on
- 12:55Speaker 1: the debate stage, Yes I do. Do I believe that
- 12:58Speaker 1: we can still win this race, yes, but do not
- 13:00Speaker 1: get overconfident because it is a dead heat right now.
- 13:05Speaker 1: This is a dead heat. It is not going to change.
- 13:08Speaker 1: It is a dead heat. And there are other, by
- 13:11Speaker 1: the way, very smart Democrats that are looking at this.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Let me give you an example, all right, Josh Shapiro.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Remember that name. I'm going to say it again. It's
- 13:23Speaker 2: not Ben Shapiro, It's Josh Shapiro.
- 13:25Speaker 1: He's a dad to four kids, married to his high
- 13:27Speaker 1: school sweetheart, and the governor of Pennsylvania and a moderate,
- 13:32Speaker 1: not a Waco AOC extremists.
- 13:37Speaker 2: This is what he tweeted out earlier.
- 13:40Speaker 1: The contrast in this race could not be clear, and
- 13:43Speaker 1: the road to victory in November runs right through Pennsylvania,
- 13:46Speaker 1: where this collective work began. I will do everything I
- 13:50Speaker 1: can to help elect Kamala Harris as the forty seventh
- 13:53Speaker 1: President of the United States of America. The governor then
- 13:57Speaker 1: put out a larger statement, saying, when our founders came
- 13:59Speaker 1: together in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, now let me just
- 14:01Speaker 1: hit paulse and go. If you want to know what
- 14:03Speaker 1: it sounds like to do a deal, this is what
- 14:06Speaker 1: a guy sounds like. That may have just had a
- 14:07Speaker 1: deal with Kamala Harris to be picked as vice president
- 14:10Speaker 1: and not actually challenge her at the convention. African American woman,
- 14:14Speaker 1: he's a really smart guy to run with her, a
- 14:17Speaker 1: guy that understands how it works in Washington, how to
- 14:20Speaker 1: get things done, a guy that a state you desperately need,
- 14:24Speaker 1: because if you win Pennsylvania, where he's very popular as
- 14:28Speaker 1: the governor, then there's a very good chance you're going
- 14:31Speaker 1: to win the presidential election if you're a Democrat. If
- 14:34Speaker 1: you lose Pennsylvania, the math doesn't make sense, and it
- 14:37Speaker 1: would be virtually impossible to win the presidency if you
- 14:41Speaker 1: lose Pennsylvania.
- 14:43Speaker 2: So if you look at this.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Statement from Shapiro, the governor, he's saying, Hey, I'm going
- 14:49Speaker 1: to support who you know, Kama Harris is the forty
- 14:52Speaker 1: seventh president at America. It sounds like there may have
- 14:54Speaker 1: already been a deal that's been done. So let me
- 14:56Speaker 1: read you a statement. When our founders came together in
- 14:58Speaker 1: the Commonwealth of Pensylvania to declare our independence and establish
- 15:02Speaker 1: our democracy, they did so with a clear understanding that
- 15:05Speaker 1: we will only succeed if we were united. In the
- 15:08Speaker 1: two hundred and forty eight years since, our country and
- 15:11Speaker 1: our people have been tested, but the American spirit has
- 15:15Speaker 1: always triumphed despite our individual differences. When our safety was threatened,
- 15:20Speaker 1: when our values and freedoms were attacked, when the stakes
- 15:24Speaker 1: were high, Americans have found ways to come together and
- 15:27Speaker 1: unite behind common cause and common purpose. That's the lesson
- 15:32Speaker 1: of our founders who gathered in Pennsylvania two and a
- 15:36Speaker 1: half centuries ago, and it's the lessons our party must
- 15:39Speaker 1: learn for now from now. I've known Harris for nearly
- 15:43Speaker 1: two decades. We've both been prosecutors. We both stood up
- 15:48Speaker 1: for the rule of law. That's a lie.
- 15:50Speaker 2: We both fought for the people and delivered results. It's
- 15:52Speaker 2: also live.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Come my heirs, the patriot worthy of our support, and
- 15:57Speaker 1: she will continue the work of generations of an Americans
- 16:01Speaker 1: who came before us to protect our union, protect our democracy,
- 16:04Speaker 1: and advance real freedom. She has served the country honorably
- 16:07Speaker 1: as vice president, and she is ready to be president.
- 16:12Speaker 1: The best path forward for the Democratic Party is to
- 16:14Speaker 1: quickly unite behind Harris and refocus on winning the presidency.
- 16:21Speaker 1: The contrast to this race could not be clearer, and
- 16:23Speaker 1: the road to victory November runs through Pennsylvania, where the
- 16:28Speaker 1: collective work began.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I will do everything I can.
- 16:32Speaker 1: To help elect Kamala Harris, the forty seventh President of
- 16:35Speaker 1: the United States, signed Governor Shapiro. If you want to
- 16:38Speaker 1: know who I think the front runner is right now
- 16:40Speaker 1: to be the governor, I should say to be the
- 16:43Speaker 1: vice president, it is Shapiro of Pennsylvania. I think it's
- 16:47Speaker 1: very clear deals are getting done right now. Like you
- 16:51Speaker 1: wouldn't believe, Joe Biden has dropped out of the presidential race.
- 16:59Speaker 1: The part that really makes me laugh is, of course
- 17:01Speaker 1: Joe Biden did this on National ice Cream Day.
- 17:05Speaker 2: You couldn't make it more fitting than that.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You do it on National ice Cream Day, Joe Biden,
- 17:13Speaker 1: they ask her to.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Give me an ice cream cone. I'm out.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Maybe that's how they bribed him to do it. Maybe
- 17:17Speaker 1: that was Kamala's plan all along. Let me also just
- 17:20Speaker 1: remind you of Kamala Harris. Okay, this is a woman
- 17:24Speaker 1: that was the border czar.
- 17:27Speaker 2: She is the.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Presumptive Democratic nominee. So when she goes on TV and
- 17:33Speaker 1: she talks about the border, here's what she says about
- 17:38Speaker 1: the border order.
- 17:39Speaker 6: We've been to the border so this whole, this whole,
- 17:42Speaker 6: this whole thing about the border. We've been to the border.
- 17:45Speaker 6: We've been to the border. You haven't been to the border,
- 17:48Speaker 6: and I haven't been to Europe. And I mean, I
- 17:51Speaker 6: don't I don't understand the point that you're making.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Order.
- 17:54Speaker 6: We've been to the border.
- 17:55Speaker 1: It's amazing. I don't understand the point you're making. This
- 18:01Speaker 1: is the woman she was the borders are and she
- 18:03Speaker 1: says we've been to the border. Quote, we've been to
- 18:04Speaker 1: the border. And then Holt says you haven't been to
- 18:09Speaker 1: the border. And then she says, I haven't been to
- 18:13Speaker 1: Europe either. What's your point? You just said you went
- 18:16Speaker 1: to the border, ma'am. You just lied to the American people.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You just told the American people that you had been
- 18:25Speaker 1: to the border when you hadn't, and Lester Holtz says
- 18:29Speaker 1: you haven't been to the border. Now, this is a
- 18:31Speaker 1: woman that believes in open borders. This is a woman
- 18:36Speaker 1: that cannot do her job. This is a woman that
- 18:39Speaker 1: is a failure as much as he is a failure.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Let me also remind you what Vice President Harris had
- 18:46Speaker 1: to say about Ukraine and the foreign policy. So let's
- 18:49Speaker 1: say you just say that was her having a bad day. Okay,
- 18:52Speaker 1: let's go with that for a second.
- 18:54Speaker 6: Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to
- 19:00Speaker 6: another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia
- 19:03Speaker 6: is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller
- 19:07Speaker 6: country called Ukraine. So basically that's wrong.
- 19:12Speaker 1: So basically that's wrong. That's Vice President Harris on her
- 19:21Speaker 1: analysis of Hey, let me give you some great analysis here.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Ukraine is a country in Europe.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is
- 19:32Speaker 1: a bigger country. I'm quoting verbatim. Russia is a powerful country.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.
- 19:40Speaker 2: So basically that's wrong. Well, I am so glad.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I am so glad that she clarified that for all
- 19:48Speaker 1: of us that country in Europe. Let me give you
- 19:53Speaker 1: a flashback, by the way, about border security, Kama Harris
- 19:57Speaker 1: raised her hand in favor of decriminalizing a legal border
- 20:01Speaker 1: crossings when she was on the debate stage.
- 20:04Speaker 7: What was the question We had a very spirited debate
- 20:07Speaker 7: on this stage last night on the topic of decriminalization
- 20:10Speaker 7: of the border. If you'd be so kind, raise your
- 20:13Speaker 7: hand if you think.
- 20:14Speaker 2: It should be a civil offense rather.
- 20:16Speaker 7: Than a crime to cross the border without documentation, Can
- 20:21Speaker 7: we keep the hands up so we could see them.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Kama Harris her hand raised high in the air with
- 20:27Speaker 1: Joe Biden. So if you think that Kama Harris is,
- 20:32Speaker 1: you know, and they're gonna I'm telling you, they're going
- 20:34Speaker 1: to try to turn her into a mix between Mother
- 20:37Speaker 1: Teresa and Princess Die. If she gets it, they'll give
- 20:43Speaker 1: her two billion three billion in free advertising. This is
- 20:48Speaker 1: going to be a Hey, the ship you were on
- 20:51Speaker 1: was sinking. It was the Titanic, and I got a dinghy.
- 20:54Speaker 1: That sucks, but at least it's better than what you
- 20:56Speaker 1: had before. That's what this is going to be. I
- 21:01Speaker 1: also believe now that this is also an issue of
- 21:07Speaker 1: the Democratic Party just being so desperate. You're in the
- 21:12Speaker 1: middle of the desert. You need water, you need food.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You'll take it from anyone, right, You'll take it from
- 21:16Speaker 1: the devil.
- 21:18Speaker 2: And this is their devil.
- 21:22Speaker 1: This is the deal they were willing to make with
- 21:25Speaker 1: the devil to get rid of Joe Biden. Nobody, I
- 21:28Speaker 1: will say it again, likes Kamala Harris. She cannot keep
- 21:32Speaker 1: a staff. She cannot keep people in and around her
- 21:36Speaker 1: staff happy. They're quitting on her all the time. She
- 21:40Speaker 1: is a disaster. Her staff knows that she is a disaster.
- 21:49Speaker 1: And Kamala Harris is an individual that slid into this
- 21:54Speaker 1: position for one reason, and one reason only.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Joe Biden had a race problem.
- 21:59Speaker 1: You may not remember that Joe Biden had a major
- 22:03Speaker 1: race problem. Joining me now to talk about all of
- 22:08Speaker 1: this is a dear.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Friend of mine.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I co host a podcasts with him, Verdict with Ted Cruz.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Senator Ted Cruz joins me now, Senator. We were just
- 22:18Speaker 1: playing some clips of some of Kamala's most brilliant moments
- 22:22Speaker 1: in life. One of them you tweeted out was her
- 22:25Speaker 1: talking about the border and she's like, we've been to
- 22:27Speaker 1: the border.
- 22:28Speaker 2: We've been the border. No you haven't.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Well I haven't been to Europe either, but you know, haha,
- 22:32Speaker 1: laugh laugh.
- 22:33Speaker 2: This is a person, however.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That the Democratic Party is going to try to sell
- 22:38Speaker 1: is the greatest thing we've ever seen in a savior.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Your reaction to this.
- 22:43Speaker 8: News, well, the Democrats are gathering around her, at least
- 22:48Speaker 8: Joe Biden is. The Clintons are, and I think she's
- 22:52Speaker 8: gonna end up being their nominee. I think the only
- 22:54Speaker 8: person who could possibly push her aside as Michelle Obama,
- 22:58Speaker 8: and at least right now, there appears to be no
- 23:01Speaker 8: effort on her part to do that.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Let's talk about how we got to this point.
- 23:06Speaker 1: You predicted on our show, and if you haven't ever
- 23:10Speaker 1: listened to it, downloaded at Verdict with Ted Cruz wherever
- 23:12Speaker 1: you get your podcasts ten months ago that Joe Biden
- 23:17Speaker 1: would not in fact be the nominee.
- 23:20Speaker 2: At the end of the day. You believed it.
- 23:23Speaker 8: Then, why, well, it was clear that his metal capacity
- 23:28Speaker 8: had diminished powerfully. It was clear every day it was
- 23:33Speaker 8: getting worse, and I didn't believe he was going to
- 23:35Speaker 8: be able to go to the distance. I also thought
- 23:38Speaker 8: that that Democrats were getting more and more nervous, and
- 23:42Speaker 8: the canary in the coal mine was you started seeing
- 23:45Speaker 8: the stakeholders of the Democrat Party floating attacks on him,
- 23:49Speaker 8: and in particularly the corporate media. Look the corporate media today,
- 23:53Speaker 8: they are functionally part of the Democrat Party. They are
- 23:56Speaker 8: the left wing of the Democrat Party. And so when
- 23:58Speaker 8: you and I on the podcast ten months ago laid
- 24:02Speaker 8: out we did not entire podcast where I predicted that
- 24:05Speaker 8: Joe Biden would withdraw from the ballot sometime around the
- 24:10Speaker 8: Democrat convention sometime this summer. We predicted that ten months ago,
- 24:15Speaker 8: and I got to say the reaction when we laid
- 24:18Speaker 8: out that prediction as the corporate media ridiculed you and
- 24:21Speaker 8: me as as moon back conspiracy theorists. They said it was,
- 24:26Speaker 8: you know, tinfoil hat type stuff, and it played out
- 24:30Speaker 8: exactly as we predicted. I'll point out we made the
- 24:33Speaker 8: prediction again the night of the presidential debate between Trump
- 24:37Speaker 8: and Biden, and that night you and I did a
- 24:39Speaker 8: podcast immediately when the debate was over. We recorded the
- 24:43Speaker 8: podcast and I said that night, this I believe will
- 24:48Speaker 8: go down in history as the most consequential presidential debate
- 24:53Speaker 8: in the history of our country. Why and what I
- 24:56Speaker 8: predicted the night of the debate is this debate will
- 24:59Speaker 8: remove Joe Biden and from the ballot. He will not
- 25:01Speaker 8: be on the ballot in November because his performance was
- 25:04Speaker 8: so disastrously bad that the Democrats and the corporate media,
- 25:10Speaker 8: which is, as I said, completely interwoven into the Democrat Party,
- 25:14Speaker 8: were freaking out. And that night I predicted within three
- 25:19Speaker 8: weeks they would drive Joe Biden off the ballot.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Well, today they've done, so.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Let's talk about how that's unfolded. And it was pretty surreal.
- 25:29Speaker 1: You first had this letter come out from Joe Biden saying, hey,
- 25:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna drop out of this presdential race, and did
- 25:36Speaker 1: not if you read that letter endorse Kamala Harris, correct.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Then you had a statement come out later on social
- 25:45Speaker 1: media that he was endorsing Kamala Harris. Why the delay
- 25:50Speaker 1: there and was it because he needed more guarantees before
- 25:53Speaker 1: he would endorse.
- 25:54Speaker 8: Well, look, as you know, you and I did an
- 25:56Speaker 8: entire emergency podcast today that is just out that a
- 26:00Speaker 8: deep dive into this question. And so if you want
- 26:02Speaker 8: to go deep into this download Verdict with Ted Cruz,
- 26:05Speaker 8: you can. You can get it right now and get
- 26:08Speaker 8: those questions answered at real death. But listen, there was
- 26:12Speaker 8: a fairly short window. His first statement, he thanked Kamala Harris,
- 26:16Speaker 8: but he didn't endorse her. And what I believed happened
- 26:20Speaker 8: is that the powers that be in the Democrat Party
- 26:22Speaker 8: put enormous pressure on him, pounded the living daylights out
- 26:26Speaker 8: of him, and he quickly put out a tweet saying
- 26:28Speaker 8: I endorse her. I think it listen, the Democrat Party
- 26:32Speaker 8: is a command and control party. They follow orders. And
- 26:36Speaker 8: so what we saw happening, and it began with the debate,
- 26:40Speaker 8: we saw one after another after another major player in
- 26:44Speaker 8: the Democrat Party come out against Joe Biden. So we
- 26:48Speaker 8: saw we saw Nancy Pelosi, we saw Chuck Schumer, we
- 26:52Speaker 8: saw Hakeem Jeffries, we saw senator after senator. We saw
- 26:57Speaker 8: lots of Republican congressmen or Democrat congressman rather coming out
- 27:02Speaker 8: against Joe Biden. And understand, not a one of them
- 27:06Speaker 8: did it because they're worried that we should not have
- 27:09Speaker 8: someone who has dementia as the commander in chief. Not
- 27:12Speaker 8: a one of them was worried about someone who's senile
- 27:15Speaker 8: and can't tie his shoes having a finger on the
- 27:17Speaker 8: nuclear button. They were all okay with that. The reason
- 27:20Speaker 8: they freaked out is simple. The American people watched that
- 27:24Speaker 8: debate and said, holy cow, this guy is not there.
- 27:28Speaker 2: He's gone.
- 27:28Speaker 8: And listen, any one of us who's had an elderly parent,
- 27:32Speaker 8: your grandparent, a relative, you've seen what the end of
- 27:37Speaker 8: life can be, and it can be sad, and Joe
- 27:40Speaker 8: Biden is well in the midst of it. And after
- 27:42Speaker 8: that debate, nobody could argue to the contrary. And so
- 27:46Speaker 8: the reason all the Democrats jump ship is they were
- 27:49Speaker 8: afraid they're going to lose.
- 27:51Speaker 1: How the hell do you run against somebody you don't
- 27:54Speaker 1: know who is going to be the nominee between now
- 27:58Speaker 1: and the convention, because you can't run against Joe Biden anymore?
- 28:02Speaker 2: How do you do it? What do you do?
- 28:03Speaker 1: Do you run against Kama twenty percent of the time,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you run against News some ten percent time, you run
- 28:07Speaker 1: against Shapiro another five percent. What in the hell does
- 28:11Speaker 1: the Trump campaign do for the next thirty days.
- 28:14Speaker 8: Well, let me first underscore just how historic this moment is.
- 28:18Speaker 8: This has never happened in the history of our country.
- 28:21Speaker 8: We have never had one of the two major party
- 28:23Speaker 8: nominees drop out anywhere close to this close to the election.
- 28:27Speaker 8: We're one hundred and six days away from the general election.
- 28:30Speaker 8: That the closest analog we have is the nineteen sixty
- 28:34Speaker 8: eight presidential election, where LBJ. Lynnon Vaine Johnson was the
- 28:38Speaker 8: incumbent president, the Democrat, and he opted not to run
- 28:42Speaker 8: for reelection. Joe Biden now joins him as the second
- 28:45Speaker 8: incumbent president to opt not to run for reelection, but
- 28:49Speaker 8: LBJ did so much much earlier in the cycle. There
- 28:52Speaker 8: was a full on primary at the end of the
- 28:54Speaker 8: day Hubert Humphrey the vice president one but one after
- 28:57Speaker 8: only a very contested race. Interesting enough, in that cycle
- 29:01Speaker 8: there was someone named Robert F. Kennedy who was running
- 29:04Speaker 8: who tragically was shot and assassinated. We now have RFK Junior,
- 29:08Speaker 8: his son running this cycle. So there are eerie parallels
- 29:11Speaker 8: and sixty eight as this year, the Democrat convention is
- 29:16Speaker 8: in Chicago. That convention was an absolute mess. It was chaotic,
- 29:20Speaker 8: There were angry left wing protesters outside, there were violent
- 29:23Speaker 8: clashes outside, and it contributed to a landslide victory of
- 29:28Speaker 8: Richard Nixon in that election, and the Republicans we may
- 29:31Speaker 8: well see history repeat itself once again. So what does
- 29:35Speaker 8: the Trump campaign do now? I would say about forty percent,
- 29:39Speaker 8: you run against Kamala Harris. I think Kamala Harris at
- 29:42Speaker 8: this point is very likely to be the Democrat nominee,
- 29:46Speaker 8: and so about forty percent you run against her. In
- 29:48Speaker 8: about sixty percent, you just run against the democrats failed agenda.
- 29:52Speaker 8: And understand, this policy record is not just Joe Biden's,
- 29:56Speaker 8: it's not just Kamala Harris's, but it is every Democrat
- 30:00Speaker 8: and the Senate, It's every Democrat in the House. All
- 30:02Speaker 8: of them have voted repeatedly in favor of trillions and
- 30:05Speaker 8: spending trillions in debt, printing money we don't have inflation
- 30:09Speaker 8: that is hammering working men and women. All of them
- 30:11Speaker 8: have voted repeatedly in favor of the open borders and
- 30:14Speaker 8: the invasion we have on our southern border. All of
- 30:18Speaker 8: them have voted in favor of releasing criminals from jail
- 30:21Speaker 8: and defunding the police and undermining law enforcement. And all
- 30:26Speaker 8: of them have voted in favor of this incredibly disastrous
- 30:30Speaker 8: foreign policy that includes undermining our friends and allies, including
- 30:34Speaker 8: especially the State of Israel, and also appeasing and showing
- 30:38Speaker 8: weakness to our enemies. So in the Senate, every Democrat
- 30:41Speaker 8: senator has voted in favor of Biden and Harris's disastrous
- 30:45Speaker 8: policy of flowing over one hundred billion dollars to the
- 30:50Speaker 8: Ayatola Commanie in Iran. Iran, in turns, provides ninety percent
- 30:54Speaker 8: of the funding to AMAS and ninety percent of the
- 30:56Speaker 8: funding to Hesbala. So I think what you do is
- 30:59Speaker 8: forty Kamala sixty percent. Their record is a disaster. It's
- 31:04Speaker 8: heard Americans across the board, and it doesn't matter which
- 31:07Speaker 8: widget you drop into the slot. They've got to defend
- 31:10Speaker 8: their record, and the record is a train wreck.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Final question for you, and it's an important one. We
- 31:16Speaker 1: are winning in every poll against Biden. That's obviously why
- 31:20Speaker 1: Biden dropped out. I think this is going to be
- 31:23Speaker 1: a complete reset. You and I just spent time did
- 31:25Speaker 1: several podcasts from Milwaukee, and your concerns you and I
- 31:30Speaker 1: talked about on the show was we were overconfident coming
- 31:33Speaker 1: out of there. Yes, I think this campaign is completely
- 31:36Speaker 1: The numbers we have right now are completely worthless.
- 31:38Speaker 2: In thirty days.
- 31:39Speaker 1: It's a whole brand new campaign with all brand new
- 31:42Speaker 1: polling Dowta, we have seen.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Everything's happened to this point doesn't matter.
- 31:46Speaker 8: Am I right or wrong? Look, that's exactly right. The
- 31:48Speaker 8: polls today do not matter. And the Democrats deliberately waited
- 31:52Speaker 8: to do this until after the Republican Convention. The convention
- 31:55Speaker 8: was the best Republican convention I've ever seen. We are
- 31:58Speaker 8: more unified than we have ever been. I assume Trump
- 32:01Speaker 8: will get a bounce out of it. Typically the historical
- 32:04Speaker 8: average is about four points, but this announcement is designed
- 32:09Speaker 8: to cut that off. And I got to say, on
- 32:12Speaker 8: one level, I was encouraged how unified we were in Milwaukee,
- 32:14Speaker 8: but another level, it scared me because I'm worried. I
- 32:17Speaker 8: don't want Republicans to be overconfident. There was an air
- 32:22Speaker 8: of celebration in Milwaukee, and frankly, the time for celebrating
- 32:25Speaker 8: is after election day, not now. Now is the time
- 32:28Speaker 8: for hard work. We're gonna have effectively a month long
- 32:31Speaker 8: Democrat convention where they're gonna dominate the news saying how
- 32:35Speaker 8: great all their choices are. That is dangerous. We need
- 32:38Speaker 8: to rally behind Donald Trump to get reelected. And I'll
- 32:41Speaker 8: point out I'm running in a very tough reelect in
- 32:43Speaker 8: Texas where a month of relentless corporate media pr for
- 32:48Speaker 8: the Democrats is dangerous. So let me encourage folks. Come
- 32:51Speaker 8: to our website, Ted Cruz dot org. Ted Cruz dot org.
- 32:54Speaker 8: We need your support. Come to the website Ted Cruz
- 32:57Speaker 8: dot org. Because the Democrats, Chuck Schumer, George Soros are
- 33:01Speaker 8: going to spend over one hundred million dollars trying to
- 33:03Speaker 8: beat me in Texas. So please come to Ted Cruz
- 33:06Speaker 8: dot org and stand with us.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's important, and I'll say it to everybody listening.
- 33:10Speaker 1: The number one senator that they are targeting, the Democrats
- 33:14Speaker 1: are targeting, is center Ted Cruz. Ted Cruise dot org.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Get involved in the race. It's going to have more
- 33:20Speaker 1: money probably come from outside the state than inside and
- 33:23Speaker 1: will be the most expensive Senate race in history of
- 33:26Speaker 1: this country. Senator, I appreciate you coming on as always
- 33:31Speaker 1: with this breaking news, and don't forget download Verdict with
- 33:34Speaker 1: Ted Cruz, the podcast I get to co host with
- 33:36Speaker 1: Senator Cruz and you can hear way more analysis from
- 33:40Speaker 1: him on that show.
- 33:41Speaker 2: It's out now.
