- 0:09Speaker 1: At all at all.
- 0:10Speaker 3: So don't given a mola a million bus bussing boy.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Steve listening to me to hand, I.
- 0:38Speaker 5: Don't joy yea joya.
- 0:59Speaker 3: You got you you.
- 1:24Speaker 4: You gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn you probably got to turn mouth to turn him
- 1:46Speaker 5: out the water the money.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 6: to the voice, Come on, dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 6: only Steve Harley got a radio show. I was talking
- 2:12Speaker 6: with my wife and she said something her father always
- 2:15Speaker 6: used to tell her, just because you can do something
- 2:18Speaker 6: don't mean you should do it. I can't tell you
- 2:21Speaker 6: how many times I've had to learn that in my life.
- 2:23Speaker 6: You know, just because you can do something does not
- 2:27Speaker 6: necessarily mean you should do it. I could tell people
- 2:31Speaker 6: off oftentimes, but it don't mean I should do it.
- 2:36Speaker 6: I could go here and set the record straight a
- 2:38Speaker 6: lot of times, but it don't mean I should do it. Well,
- 2:43Speaker 6: I've learned a lot in that lesson, folks. And because
- 2:49Speaker 6: I have a relationship with my creator, what it's done
- 2:52Speaker 6: is it's allowed me to learn even more how to
- 2:56Speaker 6: stay still on a lot of issues that's troubling me.
- 3:00Speaker 6: I've learned it the hard way. I do want you
- 3:02Speaker 6: to understand that that sometimes it's better to be still.
- 3:05Speaker 6: Sometimes it's better to just let God handle the situation now.
- 3:09Speaker 6: And I know it's hard to say because we think
- 3:11Speaker 6: as people, but if I do this, I would feel better.
- 3:16Speaker 6: If I do this now, they'll feel how I feel.
- 3:19Speaker 2: See. But that's not always the best way, though, I
- 3:22Speaker 2: found in my life.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Sometimes you gotta like old people used to say, you
- 3:26Speaker 6: gotta let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 3:30Speaker 6: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
- 3:32Speaker 6: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when
- 3:34Speaker 6: she was when I was young, I thought she was
- 3:36Speaker 6: just an old person just talking to me.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I didn't get it.
- 3:39Speaker 6: You know how your parents used to talk to you
- 3:41Speaker 6: and you didn't get it, And they used to always say, well,
- 3:43Speaker 6: wait till you have your own kids, you'll get it then,
- 3:46Speaker 6: And sure enough you got it then.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Well I'm the same way. I'm no different.
- 3:49Speaker 7: You know.
- 3:49Speaker 6: I don't have no different life than you. You don't
- 3:51Speaker 6: have no different upbringing in you. I don't have no
- 3:54Speaker 6: different ways that I can live and you can't. You
- 3:56Speaker 6: know that I got to live by the same laws
- 3:59Speaker 6: of the land you gotta live by. I gotta obey
- 4:01Speaker 6: the principles of success. If I want to be successful,
- 4:04Speaker 6: I gotta bam. And you know, if I want to
- 4:06Speaker 6: go to heaven, I gotta do what God tell me
- 4:08Speaker 6: to do as many times as I can. Now, you
- 4:10Speaker 6: ain't gonna get it all right, But he understand that,
- 4:13Speaker 6: and I just get on with the best I can.
- 4:15Speaker 6: But so many times, man, we get stuck right down, man,
- 4:20Speaker 6: worrying about you know, how it's gonna come across and
- 4:24Speaker 6: what you know, kind of going around here because I'm
- 4:27Speaker 6: trying to find a way to tell you this that
- 4:30Speaker 6: you won't get twisted. The bottom line, you gotta let
- 4:32Speaker 6: go and let God. You have to allow him to
- 4:36Speaker 6: do it his way. See, I thought myself to a
- 4:39Speaker 6: certain point, but to go further, I had to let
- 4:42Speaker 6: God have it. I found out I wasn't all that
- 4:44Speaker 6: good a driver. I found out I wouldn't all that
- 4:48Speaker 6: good of a explore with a map. So I had
- 4:51Speaker 6: to let go. I had to let God. And you
- 4:53Speaker 6: gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways. How often
- 4:57Speaker 6: had I thought it was over for me? But what
- 5:00Speaker 6: God was doing was he was teaching me a lesson.
- 5:03Speaker 6: He was showing me something that I needed to know.
- 5:06Speaker 6: He was allowing me to experience some things. But he
- 5:08Speaker 6: didn't let me go under. You know how they say,
- 5:11Speaker 6: God and never put more on you than you can bear.
- 5:13Speaker 6: He won't let you go under you know. It's like
- 5:15Speaker 6: the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when I was
- 5:18Speaker 6: going through that traumatic thing on the internet.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Man, it was really really man trying.
- 5:22Speaker 6: To destroy what I had worked for in my family
- 5:25Speaker 6: and this new life that God had presented me. And
- 5:27Speaker 6: the devil is busy. The devil don't like to see
- 5:29Speaker 6: you happy. So here he comes. He puts you under attack,
- 5:32Speaker 6: and he comes in and that and everything, and my
- 5:34Speaker 6: kids are suffering. But you know, here comes God. Don't see.
- 5:38Speaker 6: God don't put more on you than you can bear.
- 5:41Speaker 6: And Bishop Olma sent me a scripture, he sent me
- 5:44Speaker 6: Isaiah forty three one and two. And then that scripture
- 5:47Speaker 6: it says to the effect that you can walk through
- 5:51Speaker 6: the water the rivers, and the water won't overcome you.
- 5:55Speaker 6: But then it said you can walk through the fire
- 5:58Speaker 6: and you will not get burned, nor will kindling set
- 6:02Speaker 6: upon your clothing. I learned something very valuable that day. See,
- 6:06Speaker 6: God sent me through something, but he was showing me
- 6:09Speaker 6: something too. Now he didn't do it. God didn't bring
- 6:12Speaker 6: that calamity into my life because in Isaiah fifty four
- 6:16Speaker 6: seventeen it says clearly that if anyone comes against you,
- 6:20Speaker 6: it will not be my doing. Now, this is what
- 6:23Speaker 6: he promised you. When people come for you don't see.
- 6:25Speaker 6: And this is what I learned. That's why I have
- 6:27Speaker 6: no fear of the people coming anymore because I learned that.
- 6:30Speaker 6: But God had to send me through a traumatic experience
- 6:34Speaker 6: in order for me to learn that. You can't have
- 6:36Speaker 6: a testimony without a test you know what I'm saying.
- 6:39Speaker 6: You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he
- 6:42Speaker 6: did was he allowed that internet thing come across crossed
- 6:44Speaker 6: into my life. But he taught me something. And Isaiah
- 6:47Speaker 6: forty three to one and two was and you could
- 6:49Speaker 6: walk through the fire and not get burned, nor wal
- 6:52Speaker 6: kindling set upon your clothing. So what that said to
- 6:55Speaker 6: me was, even though you trying to do me and
- 6:58Speaker 6: it's fire all around me, I won't burn. But when
- 7:01Speaker 6: it's over, kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that
- 7:05Speaker 6: showed me was not only would I walk through the
- 7:07Speaker 6: fire and not get burned, but there will be no
- 7:10Speaker 6: signs that I was ever in the fire. There's no
- 7:13Speaker 6: signs of it. But not hold up though. Now here
- 7:16Speaker 6: go the part though, that I had to learn. Even
- 7:19Speaker 6: though you can walk through the fire, y'all, and even
- 7:21Speaker 6: though you're being flames and scorching all around you, if
- 7:24Speaker 6: you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn. But
- 7:26Speaker 6: now hear what he did not say. Though he did
- 7:29Speaker 6: not say that it was not going to be uncomfortably hot,
- 7:35Speaker 6: wickedly hot in there.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He ain't say that.
- 7:38Speaker 2: He just said you won't.
- 7:39Speaker 6: Burn, and when it's over, it won't be no signs
- 7:42Speaker 6: that you was in the fire. See what happened to
- 7:44Speaker 6: me was after they tried to destroy me, let me
- 7:46Speaker 6: show you what God did for me. Not only did
- 7:49Speaker 6: they not accomplish what they set out to do, but
- 7:51Speaker 6: when it was through with me, though, when they was
- 7:54Speaker 6: through throwing the gas and throwing the fire, and throwing
- 7:57Speaker 6: the hate and writing it and lining and creating all
- 8:00Speaker 6: these names for themselves so it could look like most
- 8:03Speaker 6: people is hating when they got through it all that man,
- 8:07Speaker 6: Look what he did to me. Look what he did
- 8:09Speaker 6: fum me because he taught me something that day. And
- 8:12Speaker 6: I'm sharing it with you because God will do the
- 8:15Speaker 6: same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though.
- 8:18Speaker 6: You got to get in there and you got to
- 8:19Speaker 6: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it. So,
- 8:22Speaker 6: just like pop Bridge just taught my wife Marjorie, just
- 8:25Speaker 6: because you can do something, don't mean y'all to do something. Yeah,
- 8:28Speaker 6: you could go down there and straighten them out, but
- 8:29Speaker 6: should you though? Yeah, you can go down there and
- 8:32Speaker 6: tell them all. Yeah, you can go down stand up
- 8:34Speaker 6: and make sure they know it's your voice that they
- 8:36Speaker 6: hear it, and you can get in their face and
- 8:38Speaker 6: make a scene.
- 8:39Speaker 2: But should you though, or should you let go and
- 8:43Speaker 2: let God?
- 8:44Speaker 6: So before we run all out in the streets and
- 8:46Speaker 6: somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.
- 8:49Speaker 8: Now.
- 8:49Speaker 6: I'm not saying don't go out there, but you gotta
- 8:52Speaker 6: watch who you go out there with. But you can
- 8:54Speaker 6: go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody decided
- 8:56Speaker 6: I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust a window.
- 8:58Speaker 6: Hold up, partner, Hold up, what we're down here doing.
- 9:01Speaker 6: So see, sometimes man, you gotta let go and you
- 9:03Speaker 6: gotta let God. You gotta let God have situations sometimes
- 9:07Speaker 6: and you get it in and do the things that
- 9:08Speaker 6: He tell you to do. See bish ohman and taught
- 9:11Speaker 6: me a lot. He had another book out and he said,
- 9:13Speaker 6: you know, knowing God's Voice or something like that.
- 9:16Speaker 2: I'm not sure the title.
- 9:17Speaker 6: But I never really knew the definition of how do
- 9:20Speaker 6: you know it's God's voice talking to you? Well, he
- 9:23Speaker 6: clearly made a statement. God's voice has no sin in it.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Whenever you're talking about I'm gonna go, I'm gonna show him.
- 9:31Speaker 6: I'm gonna get him back. If it's sining in it,
- 9:34Speaker 6: God ain't in it.
- 9:35Speaker 2: See that's you. Now. God's voice has no sining in it.
- 9:39Speaker 2: So when you say.
- 9:40Speaker 6: God told me, be careful because God ain't never told
- 9:45Speaker 6: you to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what he
- 9:47Speaker 6: told you.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And I learned that too. It's a lot. So I'm
- 9:51Speaker 2: just sharing today.
- 9:52Speaker 6: I hope it helps somebody today get through a difficult
- 9:55Speaker 6: time because the show has helped me.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Morning, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up.
- 10:04Speaker 7: It is Thursday. Baby. You heard what I said it's Thursday.
- 10:07Speaker 7: It's the nephew hold it down. Uncle Stevens out, but
- 10:09Speaker 7: me and the beautiful ladies and junior are in. That
- 10:12Speaker 7: would be Shirley Strawberry, Carla Farrell, Mississippi, Monica, and kid
- 10:16Speaker 7: Junior board Space. Let me tell y'all what I did
- 10:18Speaker 7: this morning. Oh my god, got up and got into
- 10:23Speaker 7: a warm plunge. You hear me, A warm plunge? Yeah, yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 7: I did. I don't do I don't cold plunge like
- 10:30Speaker 7: on to Steve. I got in eighty degrees a w yeah, shower, yeah,
- 10:35Speaker 7: just laid there, Yeah, and I felt so rejuvenated. You
- 10:40Speaker 7: don't have to be cold, y'all. It don't have to
- 10:41Speaker 7: be cold. I got in there and all. Whatever he
- 10:44Speaker 7: doing in that cold, I did it in the warm
- 10:46Speaker 7: and it works out just the same. I can assure
- 10:47Speaker 7: you that nobody sitting in there for no five minutes
- 10:52Speaker 7: in a thirty degree water. I got it up to
- 10:54Speaker 7: eighty and I felt really nice. I really did.
- 10:57Speaker 9: He what.
- 11:04Speaker 7: Top top it is Thursday? Man, were holding it down
- 11:07Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Morning Show. When we're gonna be a little ignorant,
- 11:09Speaker 7: a little a little informative and you know, and then
- 11:14Speaker 7: I lay back when we get informed. Then when it's stupid,
- 11:17Speaker 7: I kick back in and then yeah, yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 1: With your warm back, your warm plunge.
- 11:26Speaker 7: Man, y'all should try that warm plunge. Eight it to
- 11:29Speaker 7: freeze and get you a couple of little drops of alcohol.
- 11:33Speaker 7: Put it in there, you know, drink Yeah, that green alcohol,
- 11:38Speaker 7: That green alcohol. That's something that one not different. You know,
- 11:43Speaker 7: if you're aching anyway, it helps out a little epsence south.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Put some of that in there. All that cold plunge.
- 11:48Speaker 7: That's overrated that I can steve be talking, y'all be
- 11:50Speaker 7: just doing to stay too much.
- 11:52Speaker 9: All that's overrated, the NFL and the athletes that do
- 11:56Speaker 9: that all the time.
- 11:57Speaker 7: I don't know what all that inflamma?
- 12:03Speaker 10: What you up? You know, getting everything working, you know,
- 12:08Speaker 10: waking up everything.
- 12:09Speaker 7: That's what That's what that hot water did to look at?
- 12:11Speaker 7: How sound this one look at? That's what That's what
- 12:13Speaker 7: that hot water did to me. I walked right on up.
- 12:15Speaker 7: What when you try to set your butt in a
- 12:19Speaker 7: hot water, don't it get you up? Don't it? Don't it?
- 12:21Speaker 10: Don't it's too hot?
- 12:23Speaker 11: Yeah that's true.
- 12:25Speaker 10: We like it hot.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we love it hot.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Yes, we do.
- 12:30Speaker 12: Who was the first one just to discover how Ifsen
- 12:33Speaker 12: salt work?
- 12:34Speaker 11: Who the first person did that?
- 12:37Speaker 8: Oh?
- 12:38Speaker 2: That was that was Johnny Epsen.
- 12:40Speaker 7: You did that? Listen to the name of the stuff.
- 12:43Speaker 11: Boy, he said, yeah.
- 12:46Speaker 7: Johnny put that salt in there. He was feeling real bad.
- 12:48Speaker 7: He put it in the tub and put it in
- 12:50Speaker 7: there and it started working out really really well. And
- 12:53Speaker 7: everybody said, who did that? Johnny did that? That's john
- 12:55Speaker 7: That's that's that's Johnny saw that's Epsen sauce. Yeah, that's
- 12:58Speaker 7: that's Johnny Epsen sauce. So yeah, we've been that's where
- 13:01Speaker 7: that comes from. When they you know, lady, they added
- 13:03Speaker 7: all the lab and the flavors and all that, but
- 13:05Speaker 7: at it was just it was just Johnny Epsen. That's
- 13:09Speaker 7: Johnny Ebsen South. That's what you want to know. I
- 13:11Speaker 7: got history for you. I know about all this stuff,
- 13:14Speaker 7: do you now? Yeah?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Now you know, Junior, Now we don't know.
- 13:19Speaker 7: Now you know, quit listening to Uncle Steve. All same.
- 13:24Speaker 7: I'm probably more of a mental knowledge than him. I'm
- 13:28Speaker 7: a better mental fight, you know. I can really show
- 13:33Speaker 7: you the way.
- 13:34Speaker 10: On that note, we're gonna pivot coming up at thirty
- 13:37Speaker 10: two minutes after the hour, we'll hear yet again from
- 13:39Speaker 10: the nephew as he runs that prank back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 13: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 10: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:49Speaker 10: prank back. Nephew, what you got?
- 13:51Speaker 7: Well, you know what it is, Shirley. We went down
- 13:53Speaker 7: to the church yesterday and we talked about church fees,
- 13:57Speaker 7: and we are going to go back there and run
- 13:59Speaker 7: that prank back again in on church fees because we've
- 14:03Speaker 7: got some people members that really need to learn about
- 14:06Speaker 7: what it takes to be a part of this church.
- 14:09Speaker 7: All right, All minds clear, All right, church fees, cat dog,
- 14:14Speaker 7: if you would church fees, let me hear.
- 14:19Speaker 9: Hello.
- 14:19Speaker 8: Hello, I'm trying to reach touch the church. Hey you
- 14:21Speaker 8: got her? Hey? How you doing? This is this is
- 14:23Speaker 8: brother Glenn from the church.
- 14:25Speaker 14: Hey, brother Glenn, how you doing?
- 14:27Speaker 8: I'm good? I'm good, I'm real good. Did you enjoy service? Boring?
- 14:30Speaker 14: Oh? I enjoyed it past the pastor brought it down?
- 14:38Speaker 14: Oh my god.
- 14:39Speaker 8: That was a word for me, right right, right right?
- 14:42Speaker 14: So what do I owe the pleasure this call?
- 14:44Speaker 8: I wanted to give you some information that the that
- 14:47Speaker 8: the church has come up with and we wanted to
- 14:50Speaker 8: let you know what was going on before next Sunday.
- 14:53Speaker 8: I didn't interrupt you, No.
- 14:55Speaker 14: No, I actually I may so. I'm a little a
- 14:57Speaker 14: little off a little bit. I'm trying to get getting
- 14:59Speaker 14: ready for my little babies, my little darlings, and I'm
- 15:01Speaker 14: trying to your voice sounds so familiar to me. It
- 15:05Speaker 14: just sounds so familiar, trying to place that voice.
- 15:08Speaker 8: Okay, Well, you've seen me at the church quite a
- 15:09Speaker 8: few times.
- 15:10Speaker 9: I think I have.
- 15:11Speaker 14: I'm just trying to place it. I can't place it
- 15:12Speaker 14: right now, but what can I do?
- 15:14Speaker 8: Well, Nevertheless, I just wanted here's what's going on now.
- 15:17Speaker 8: You're aware that for the last the last six Sundays
- 15:20Speaker 8: you've been actually coming into service late.
- 15:23Speaker 14: Have you realized that, Yes, I know, I'm sorry about that,
- 15:28Speaker 14: but you know, yes I have. I have my reasons though.
- 15:30Speaker 8: Okay, okay, Well here's what's going on. The officials at
- 15:33Speaker 8: the church have gotten together and this is what they've
- 15:37Speaker 8: decided on, is that anybody who is late starting next Sunday,
- 15:41Speaker 8: there would be a fifteen dollar charge for that for
- 15:44Speaker 8: coming in and disrupting service. The fastest tired of service
- 15:49Speaker 8: being disrupted by people walking in late.
- 15:51Speaker 14: That that could not come at a worse time. I
- 15:55Speaker 14: don't have fifteen dollars to give.
- 15:58Speaker 15: I don't have it.
- 16:02Speaker 14: Look, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that were late. I am
- 16:06Speaker 14: We are doing our best. I have three kids. I
- 16:09Speaker 14: have three young kids, two seven and nine, and they
- 16:13Speaker 14: are a handful and we do the best that we
- 16:16Speaker 14: can to get to church on time. And and to
- 16:19Speaker 14: tell you when we get there, it's doing praise and worship.
- 16:23Speaker 14: I mean, Pats ain't even preaching yet.
- 16:25Speaker 8: Sorry, I know it's not pass is not up yet,
- 16:27Speaker 8: but he's he's stating that people coming in. It just
- 16:30Speaker 8: seems very disruptive to the service that's going on. That's
- 16:33Speaker 8: so nevertheless, like I said, this is a warning call,
- 16:36Speaker 8: you know, to let you know that if you are
- 16:38Speaker 8: late on next Sunday, then they will be charging you
- 16:41Speaker 8: fifteen dollars a lafe charge. And actually you won't be
- 16:45Speaker 8: able to even come in what until you until you
- 16:48Speaker 8: paid a few dollars.
- 16:50Speaker 14: I can't even get in church with we Look, okay,
- 16:53Speaker 14: Look I don't I don't owe nothing. I don't owe
- 16:56Speaker 14: you no explanations, but I need to tell you something.
- 16:59Speaker 14: We are me and my kids for the last few
- 17:02Speaker 14: Sundays that we've been late. It's because my car broke down.
- 17:06Speaker 14: We are on the bus man public transportation.
- 17:09Speaker 8: Okay, I mean, and I understand. I understand how sound
- 17:12Speaker 8: civilitize with everything that you're going through.
- 17:14Speaker 14: But why are you called if you understand? Why are
- 17:16Speaker 14: you calling me about fifteen dollars? If you understand what
- 17:18Speaker 14: I'm going through?
- 17:18Speaker 8: Well I didn't that first of all. I didn't know
- 17:20Speaker 8: what you were going Why are you raising your voice
- 17:21Speaker 8: at me? Why are you did you just raise your
- 17:24Speaker 8: voice at me?
- 17:25Speaker 15: You know what?
- 17:26Speaker 14: You know what I think? You're raising your voice at me?
- 17:29Speaker 14: How dare you call me about this? About a feat?
- 17:33Speaker 14: And I'm there at church? I got my keys in
- 17:35Speaker 14: there trying to raise them up is the way they
- 17:37Speaker 14: should go, just like the Bible says. And you know
- 17:40Speaker 14: why I gotta do this or why I'm mad? Why
- 17:43Speaker 14: we got touch the bus? Do you understand why that is? Brother?
- 17:47Speaker 8: No, I do not.
- 17:48Speaker 14: That is because they they Daddy is ain't.
- 17:50Speaker 8: And yes it's Tracy. You got to calm down a
- 17:53Speaker 8: little bit now.
- 17:54Speaker 14: Oh Jesus help me, Jesus help me, Jesus.
- 17:56Speaker 8: Okay, listen, here's the deal. All I can do is

- 18:04Speaker 8: and get there a little earlier. But I'm just stating
- 18:07Speaker 8: the facts that as of next Sunday, if you come
- 18:09Speaker 8: in late, it's fifteen dollars late fee, and that's what
- 18:12Speaker 8: you'll pay in order to get in the service.
- 18:14Speaker 14: You know what, Well, maybe next Sunday I just won't
- 18:17Speaker 14: be there. How about that? You know I'm already working
- 18:21Speaker 14: six days a week. The only day I have office Sunday.

- 18:29Speaker 14: to take money out of my check, always trying to
- 18:31Speaker 14: pull me here and there, and I'm always tired. I
- 18:33Speaker 14: get two hours of sleep, and then now the church
- 18:35Speaker 14: wants to dump another fifteen dollars charging me for being
- 18:39Speaker 14: at church when that's what I'm supposed to do.
- 18:41Speaker 8: But you're coming in late, though, sister Tracy, you know what,
- 18:45Speaker 8: you know.
- 18:45Speaker 14: What late ain't bad. Okay, I might be delayed, but
- 18:50Speaker 14: I ain't denied, and I'm getting there the best way
- 18:52Speaker 14: that I know how. For Oh, the bus, I have
- 18:54Speaker 14: to put my kids on the school bus and long
- 18:56Speaker 14: that I have to put them on the school bus
- 18:57Speaker 14: and I have to get on the bus to myself
- 18:59Speaker 14: to work, and I don't have a car because they
- 19:01Speaker 14: Daddy ain't doing nothing nothing for them. Do you understand
- 19:05Speaker 14: what I'm saying to you?
- 19:06Speaker 15: I need to.
- 19:07Speaker 14: Understand Thatdy number one, it's what hit Daddy for two,
- 19:12Speaker 14: he in jail, been there about five years, he ain't
- 19:16Speaker 14: And Daddy number three he decided to go ahead and
- 19:19Speaker 14: walk out. And I ain't heard from that that trade
- 19:22Speaker 14: list in about seven months.
- 19:24Speaker 15: Now.
- 19:24Speaker 14: He know we struggling. He had to nerve to take
- 19:26Speaker 14: my wallet too. You don't You don't even understand what
- 19:28Speaker 14: I'm going through. You don't even understand that I'm trying
- 19:30Speaker 14: to make a better life for me and my children.
- 19:33Speaker 8: There is one more thing, Sister Tracy, that the church
- 19:35Speaker 8: wants you to know before next Sunday that you definitely
- 19:37Speaker 8: need to know.
- 19:39Speaker 14: What What more thing does the church want me to know?

- 20:00Speaker 8: Oh, Patrese, gotcha right, I got.
- 20:06Speaker 7: Something for her?
- 20:07Speaker 14: How about that?
- 20:10Speaker 8: You want to put a smile on your face.
- 20:12Speaker 14: I'm gonna have to say she did right. Wow, Now
- 20:17Speaker 14: that I know you, y'all were joking and now I
- 20:19Speaker 14: know this is nephew Tommy.
- 20:24Speaker 8: Hey, I gotta ask you something. Baby, what's the baddest
- 20:26Speaker 8: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 20:29Speaker 14: The Steve Harvey Morning Show?

- 21:32Speaker 10: ask the Riddlo and Junior. This is from Kelvin in Sarasota.
- 21:38Speaker 10: Calvin says, I can't stand my girlfriend because she's evil
- 21:42Speaker 10: and takes me for granted. She was sick, so I
- 21:44Speaker 10: felt obligated to stay while she needed my help. Her
- 21:49Speaker 10: doctor has cleared her to go back to work. So
- 21:51Speaker 10: how much longer should I stay? Is one week enough?
- 21:55Speaker 2: Fift?

- 23:26Speaker 10: she's coming to visit me soon. I haven't told her
- 23:29Speaker 10: that I live with my mom and her three cats.
- 23:32Speaker 10: She's excited about staying with me, but I can't afford
- 23:35Speaker 10: a hotel room. How should I tell her about my
- 23:38Speaker 10: about my living arrangement?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Oh?
- 23:41Speaker 7: This is not good?
- 23:44Speaker 10: Is faster?

- 23:55Speaker 7: town over to this and stay there.
- 23:58Speaker 10: He can't afford a hotel.
- 24:00Speaker 7: He can't afford this woman. We don't need to be
- 24:04Speaker 7: doing this. You go, you're gonna have to front. You
- 24:06Speaker 7: need to borrow somebody house and stay somewhere else. But
- 24:08Speaker 7: your mama and them cats. I don't know what we got.
- 24:13Speaker 7: We cannot come up with mama. How with all these
- 24:15Speaker 7: damn cats, all of them talk to kitchen table and everything.
- 24:17Speaker 2: We can't do that.
- 24:19Speaker 7: And invite this woman up in here. She ain't seen
- 24:21Speaker 7: this hip before. We've been scared. This woman half to death.
- 24:24Speaker 7: Just won't be going to be wrapped up in a

- 24:36Speaker 10: Get off line, all the way off.
- 24:38Speaker 7: And don't nobody want you. I promise if you open
- 24:40Speaker 7: up and tell everybody what you got that you at.

- 25:20Speaker 12: I have to pick it up. And you have to
- 25:25Speaker 12: do something. But don't tell it. You can't afford the hotel.
- 25:27Speaker 12: But your mama do live with you. That's what you
- 25:29Speaker 12: need to tell.
- 25:29Speaker 9: Excuse me, he lives with his mom. Yeah, but he
- 25:34Speaker 9: got to ask his mom company. Well, he's gonna have
- 25:39Speaker 9: to do that before she gets there. But when she
- 25:40Speaker 9: gets there, she lived with him. That's what he needs
- 25:43Speaker 9: to understand something.
- 25:44Speaker 7: When she come in and see the old people on
- 25:46Speaker 7: the wall on you pictures.
- 25:47Speaker 11: Yeah, have an infinitive for old stuff. That's all you
- 25:51Speaker 11: can tell. I like old things. I don't like.

- 33:11Speaker 7: You hit me because I know that's a nice, nice
- 33:15Speaker 7: little handful of fire you got that, don't.
- 33:17Speaker 10: You get I don't think they don't you now.
- 33:20Speaker 7: Hold that thing down and fire that thing up, huh.
- 33:22Speaker 10: I don't think he could do it anyway legally. I
- 33:25Speaker 10: don't think it's legal over there.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't legal.
- 33:30Speaker 10: When he was doing it, that's true, but it is now.
- 33:34Speaker 7: Man. I went to a I went to a Super
- 33:36Speaker 7: Bowl party in Houston, Snooper DJ and the whole place
- 33:39Speaker 7: was cloud. What did you talking about? Legal?
- 33:41Speaker 1: The hell big fight?
- 33:43Speaker 10: Remember when Steve did it in l A. Carried the torch, Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 10: he did.
- 33:49Speaker 7: I thought he was gonna drop it.
- 33:50Speaker 10: He did give her.
- 33:54Speaker 7: I was nervous watching him. You know, when he get
- 33:58Speaker 7: on publicly, he'll mess something up, I said, But.
- 34:03Speaker 10: He did, and he carried it right on through.
- 34:05Speaker 7: He did so.
- 34:07Speaker 10: Screaking of the Olympics, make sure you cheer on Team USA.
- 34:10Speaker 10: All you have to do is listen to the free
- 34:12Speaker 10: iHeartRadio apps audio coverage of the summer Games. You can
- 34:15Speaker 10: listen in your car, at work, at home, or anywhere
- 34:18Speaker 10: your phone is. Okay, we'll all be hosting. Okay, all right,
- 34:23Speaker 10: And finally, as we switch gears, this is what's happening.
- 34:27Speaker 10: This is what's trending. Sacred Service director Kimberly Cheatle. She
- 34:32Speaker 10: resigned after the near assassination attempt to former President Donald Trump.
- 34:38Speaker 10: It shook the confidence in her ability to lead the agency.
- 34:42Speaker 10: All right, somebody had to be the fall guy, and
- 34:44Speaker 10: it was her in this. In this instance, Trump was
- 34:47Speaker 10: nicked in the ear after a shooter fired an AR
- 34:51Speaker 10: style assault rifle. The shooter has climbed up, and he
- 34:55Speaker 10: climbed up on a nearby rooftop and fired off as
- 34:59Speaker 10: many as eight shots eight shots, killing Sadly, a Pennsylvania firefighter,
- 35:05Speaker 10: and injuring two other men before being neutralized by a
- 35:09Speaker 10: Secret Service counter sniper. This is what President Trump said, Tom.
- 35:16Speaker 7: I don't know how, I don't know how.
- 35:18Speaker 10: Yeah, it was open, it was too open.
- 35:20Speaker 9: Yeah, it was a fail operation. And that's why she resigned,
- 35:24Speaker 9: you know, under her watch. So they admit to the
- 35:27Speaker 9: mistakes that were made.
- 35:29Speaker 7: Yeah. Yeah, come, black folk get fired and white folk
- 35:31Speaker 7: get to resign. I'm just asking. That's just asking for
- 35:34Speaker 7: a friend.
- 35:34Speaker 10: That's for a friend. Well, this is what former President
- 35:39Speaker 10: Trump said about it. He said that the Biden administration,
- 35:43Speaker 10: the Biden Harris administration, failed to protect him, and he
- 35:46Speaker 10: took a bullet for democracy.
- 35:49Speaker 11: What okay?
- 35:52Speaker 13: What he says?
- 35:54Speaker 10: An Oh, that's a stretch. Yeah, all right, guys, coming
- 35:59Speaker 10: up a twenty minutes after the our President Biden addressed
- 36:02Speaker 10: the nation last night. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 36:06Speaker 13: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:09Speaker 10: President Biden addressed the nation last night from the Oval Office.
- 36:13Speaker 10: The President talked about what lies ahead and how it's
- 36:16Speaker 10: time to pass the torch on now to a younger generation,
- 36:19Speaker 10: and he will finish his term and job as president
- 36:22Speaker 10: for the American people. The President talked about his accomplishments,
- 36:26Speaker 10: and he said that nothing can come in the way
- 36:30Speaker 10: of saving our democracy, including personal ambition. President Biden went
- 36:35Speaker 10: on to say that Vice President Harris is quote experienced,
- 36:38Speaker 10: she's tough, she's capable, and he called her an incredible
- 36:42Speaker 10: partner during their three and a half years together. At
- 36:45Speaker 10: the end of his speech, the President expressed his heartfelt
- 36:48Speaker 10: gratitude to be able to serve the nation and to
- 36:51Speaker 10: ascend to the position he long thought take a listen.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Nowhere else on earth.
- 36:56Speaker 16: Credit kid to the stutter from modest beginning to scrap Pennsylvania,
- 37:00Speaker 16: claimont Delaware, one day sit behind the resolute desk in
- 37:05Speaker 16: the Oval Office as President the United States. Here I am.
- 37:09Speaker 2: That's what's so special out of America.
- 37:12Speaker 16: We're a nation of promise and possibilities, of dreamers and doers,
- 37:17Speaker 16: of ordinary Americans doing extraordinary things. I give my heart
- 37:21Speaker 16: and my soul to our nation, like so many others,
- 37:26Speaker 16: I've been blessed million times in return the love and
- 37:30Speaker 16: support of American people I hope you have some idea.
- 37:33Speaker 11: How grateful I am to.
- 37:35Speaker 7: All of you.
- 37:36Speaker 10: Wow, I really felt.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I want I want to cry the way.
- 37:44Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 9: And they showed on social media on the side his
- 37:48Speaker 9: family sitting there, and they said that the staff people
- 37:51Speaker 9: that work in the White House they were all clapping,
- 37:54Speaker 9: you know.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Guards.
- 37:56Speaker 9: Yeah, very emotional, very emotional speech. Again, like we said earlier,
- 38:00Speaker 9: it takes a special man with a special character to
- 38:04Speaker 9: do what he did, Like you said, Shirley giving up,
- 38:07Speaker 9: not giving up democracy for personal ambition. So he put
- 38:11Speaker 9: the American people before his his job.
- 38:16Speaker 10: He said, this is it's about the people. It's not
- 38:19Speaker 10: about me. Yeah, I want this job. I want to continue,
- 38:22Speaker 10: but the people have spoken and it's time to hand
- 38:25Speaker 10: it over, you know. And he talked about how Kamala
- 38:28Speaker 10: Kamala was, you know, very capable and very tough and
- 38:32Speaker 10: she can do the job. That's a great endorsement. And
- 38:35Speaker 10: I think we know that. I think we feel that too.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Yeah, how you guys feel, Tommy Junior.
- 38:43Speaker 7: It's just interesting to look and see how night and
- 38:46Speaker 7: day is when you see President Biden give his speech
- 38:49Speaker 7: and then you look at you turn the channel and
- 38:51Speaker 7: you see Trump speaking and it's just like it's just evil.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Just straight up so much.
- 38:59Speaker 7: It is so clear though.
- 39:02Speaker 2: It's like the President.
- 39:03Speaker 10: Said, choose love between love and hate. It's a choice.
- 39:08Speaker 12: All I say is I saw Joe Biden, and I
- 39:10Speaker 12: Lejabi say, I'm looking at him.
- 39:12Speaker 11: I'm looking at a man.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I'm just looking at a man.
- 39:14Speaker 11: That's a grown man right here.
- 39:16Speaker 10: Real man. All right, guys coming up at thirty four
- 39:19Speaker 10: minutes after the hours, Say her name. Sonia Massy, a
- 39:22Speaker 10: black woman in Illinois, called for help and was murdered
- 39:25Speaker 10: by a white deputy police officer. We'll talk about that. Wow,
- 39:30Speaker 10: right after this, you're listening.
- 39:33Speaker 13: Morning show.
- 39:35Speaker 10: Here we go again, meliss is. So, this is just
- 39:39Speaker 10: a horrible, horrible story. I'm gonna start with this. Say
- 39:42Speaker 10: her name. Her name is Sonia Massey. Sonia Massey was
- 39:46Speaker 10: a black woman. She was murdered by a white male
- 39:49Speaker 10: deputy police officer on the fourth of July weekend. She
- 39:53Speaker 10: called nine to one one for help. She lives in Springfield, Illinois.
- 39:57Speaker 10: Sonia Massey called the police after she thought there was
- 40:00Speaker 10: an intruder outside her house. The bodycam video was released
- 40:04Speaker 10: by an Illinois state police showing a Sheriff's deputy shot
- 40:07Speaker 10: Sonia Sonia Massey in the face. She was shot in
- 40:11Speaker 10: the head in the face during a tense moment over
- 40:14Speaker 10: a pot of boiling water in her home. That's what
- 40:17Speaker 10: this was all about. In the video, Massey asked the
- 40:20Speaker 10: deputy where you going away from your hot, steaming water.
- 40:24Speaker 10: The deputy responds, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus,
- 40:28Speaker 10: Massey says. Massey does not approach the deputies with the pot.
- 40:31Speaker 10: She stays in her kitchen. The deputy you better ef
- 40:35Speaker 10: and not. I swear to God I'll ef and shoot
- 40:37Speaker 10: you in your ef and face. This is what Deputy
- 40:40Speaker 10: Grayson says before pulling out his gun. Okay, I'm sorry,
- 40:44Speaker 10: Massy says as she ducks down. Later, Deputy Grayson can
- 40:48Speaker 10: be heard on the camera saying she said she was
- 40:52Speaker 10: going to rebuke me in the name of Jesus and
- 40:54Speaker 10: came at me with boiling water. Sonia's father, mister James Wilburn,
- 40:58Speaker 10: spoke about the bodycam footage on CBS this Morning.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 41:02Speaker 17: So I think the cover up started from just right
- 41:06Speaker 17: after it happened. Thank God for the body camera footage
- 41:09Speaker 17: is probably the most horrible and heart wrenching thing that
- 41:12Speaker 17: we've ever seen in our lives. But if we're not
- 41:15Speaker 17: for the bodycam footage, we would not have known that
- 41:19Speaker 17: this occurred.
- 41:25Speaker 10: This is really sad, man.
- 41:28Speaker 7: I don't, I don't, I mean we we we hear
- 41:31Speaker 7: it every other month. Here goes again, Here it goes again.
- 41:34Speaker 7: It never stops. Then you start, then here's the whole
- 41:38Speaker 7: journey on what happens to this office, that what's going
- 41:40Speaker 7: to take place with them next. But at the end
- 41:42Speaker 7: of the day, it just it just seems to never stop.
- 41:45Speaker 7: And it's always our people. It's always us that's getting it.
- 41:48Speaker 7: It's always us. You don't and I don't wish it
- 41:52Speaker 7: on and I don't wish it on anybody.
- 41:55Speaker 9: It's always, of course not. You kill this woman over
- 41:58Speaker 9: a pot of water that she.
- 42:00Speaker 10: Was unarmed, she didn't have a gun. Ye, she didn't
- 42:04Speaker 10: throw the water at there's no threat, there's no and
- 42:07Speaker 10: didn't he tell her to take the pot of bo
- 42:10Speaker 10: boiling water off the stove And that's what she was doing.
- 42:13Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 42:14Speaker 9: Shot in the head, yes, and her father, the family
- 42:18Speaker 9: has said that she did have some mental health issues,
- 42:22Speaker 9: but she did seek out treatment, and she had treatment
- 42:24Speaker 9: for that. At the end of the day, you killed
- 42:27Speaker 9: this woman over a pot of water. That's what you
- 42:31Speaker 9: did in her home. That is horrific.
- 42:35Speaker 7: R Tell me again, what was the purpose of the call?
- 42:38Speaker 10: Was an outside outside the police?
- 42:43Speaker 15: She could.
- 42:45Speaker 10: If you thought an intruder was outside, that's what you
- 42:47Speaker 10: would normally, that's what you call the police.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, really, really really sad.
- 42:52Speaker 10: This is really yeah, her rights were violated, yep, speaking
- 42:58Speaker 10: of civil rights. Civil rights attorney Ben tr is representing
- 43:01Speaker 10: the family. Thank god. Deputy Grayson, meanwhile, has pleaded not
- 43:06Speaker 10: guilty to charges of first degree murder, aggravated battery with
- 43:10Speaker 10: the firearm, and official misconduct. He is being held in
- 43:14Speaker 10: the county jail where he lives, where he awaits trial.
- 43:17Speaker 10: So there you go saying, county jail. Yeah, and she
- 43:21Speaker 10: was the mother of two. By the way, she was
- 43:23Speaker 10: a mother of two.
- 43:25Speaker 9: This is also something that I read that one of
- 43:28Speaker 9: the family members, one of the friends said, at first,
- 43:32Speaker 9: the police didn't even tell them that they were the
- 43:35Speaker 9: cause of her death. So now you want to know,
- 43:39Speaker 9: is there a cover up?
- 43:40Speaker 1: What is going on? What happened that night?
- 43:44Speaker 9: And thank god for this bodycam footage from the other officer,
- 43:48Speaker 9: from the other officer that was on site. They didn't
- 43:51Speaker 9: even want to help her, give her medical aid any
- 43:54Speaker 9: of these things.
- 43:54Speaker 1: So all this is coming out now.
- 43:56Speaker 9: So thank god the family has attorney Benjamin Crump a case.
- 44:00Speaker 10: Right, I am a justice. I heard he said that
- 44:03Speaker 10: she came at him with the pot of boiling water.
- 44:06Speaker 10: That is not true.
- 44:07Speaker 1: That you don't see that video the video that she didn't.
- 44:11Speaker 10: Do that exactly exactly, all right, thanks guys. Coming up next,
- 44:15Speaker 10: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 44:17Speaker 10: after this.
- 44:18Speaker 13: You're listening Harby Morning Show.
- 44:22Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:24Speaker 10: four minutes after it is my strawberry letter for today,
- 44:26Speaker 10: and the subject is We're not going to make it
- 44:29Speaker 10: till November. We are not the election.
- 44:35Speaker 7: I've been told every month we ain't gonna make it.
- 44:41Speaker 7: Do something.
- 44:45Speaker 10: We'll find out what that's all about in just a
- 44:47Speaker 10: few because right now the nephew is here with today's
- 44:50Speaker 10: prank phone call.
- 44:53Speaker 2: What you what all ready?
- 44:56Speaker 7: Yes, this is garnish your wages. Garnish your wages, mum.
- 45:05Speaker 7: Hum I used to think garnish was food that you
- 45:07Speaker 7: put on for garnish. Yeah, I was wonder if they
- 45:11Speaker 7: putting it on money. When they say garnish your way,
- 45:13Speaker 7: I don't know your money, so yeah, I didn't know
- 45:15Speaker 7: how they were doing that. And they say, gone, and.
- 45:20Speaker 15: What you're.
- 45:24Speaker 7: Tell you? But I but I asked reasonable questions. I mean,
- 45:27Speaker 7: it's garner and it's your way. Okay, let me ask
- 45:30Speaker 7: you this him Popeye? Okay, Now, Papa I used to
- 45:33Speaker 7: date who boy? Why why won't they cook that chicken
- 45:37Speaker 7: in il of boy?
- 45:40Speaker 2: I don't understand that, Junior. I just don't get it.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Try to make your health.
- 45:44Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 45:44Speaker 7: You might well gonna go with his girl? You feel men?
- 45:47Speaker 2: Go with this girl?
- 45:48Speaker 1: Stupid?
- 45:53Speaker 7: This is garneish your wages. Here we go, let's go
- 45:55Speaker 7: catch hell. I'm trying to reach your y'all. My name
- 46:01Speaker 7: is from the District Attorney's office. Yes, how are you
- 46:05Speaker 7: giving you a call today? Man? I'm trying to get
- 46:07Speaker 7: some updates from you. Your husband, mister con is he
- 46:11Speaker 7: still not working at this point?
- 46:13Speaker 15: No, sir?
- 46:14Speaker 7: Okay?
- 46:15Speaker 2: How long has he been out of work so far?
- 46:17Speaker 7: Ma'am? Could you could you give me an update on.
- 46:19Speaker 15: This past year? January?
- 46:21Speaker 7: Okay? All, right, here's what we're having. The problems that
- 46:25Speaker 7: we're having. You have a son, I think it's his
- 46:28Speaker 7: name is as well, fourteen years old, am I right? Okay?
- 46:32Speaker 7: The child support is not being paid from mister for
- 46:38Speaker 7: the for mister young and we're trying to get this
- 46:41Speaker 7: thing rectified. Now. The problem that we're going to have,
- 46:43Speaker 7: and the reason why we're giving you a call is
- 46:45Speaker 7: considering that your husband hasn't worked since the first of
- 46:48Speaker 7: the year, and I haven't done the research yet. I'm
- 46:51Speaker 7: just I'm just not pulling up your file. I haven't
- 46:53Speaker 7: done the research and see how many months in the
- 46:55Speaker 7: rears he is on child support?
- 46:58Speaker 15: Is this started once he lost his job?
- 47:01Speaker 7: Okay? Well, the problem that we're going to have is
- 47:04Speaker 7: they're gonna start taking uh child support actually, and I
- 47:09Speaker 7: hate to give you this news out of your check.
- 47:12Speaker 15: I don't understand how that because I have my own kids,
- 47:15Speaker 15: I don't understand that.
- 47:16Speaker 7: I understand, but they're gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am.
- 47:19Speaker 7: Uh until this until your husband can get this thing
- 47:21Speaker 7: back on his feet and get it recified and get
- 47:23Speaker 7: him up to par as for of all the payments
- 47:26Speaker 7: that are.
- 47:26Speaker 15: Hurt and when will is he taking place? Because if
- 47:28Speaker 15: that's the case, I'm not gonna be working because that's
- 47:31Speaker 15: not gonna happen. I have my own children, so I
- 47:34Speaker 15: don't understand how that's for. So I don't have anything
- 47:37Speaker 15: to do with child for it or anything like that.
- 47:39Speaker 15: And if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working
- 47:41Speaker 15: as right now.
- 47:42Speaker 7: The garnishing of the check is gonna come from you.
- 47:43Speaker 7: And you are at the hospital. Correct, No, that's not
- 47:46Speaker 7: your it's not where you work.
- 47:48Speaker 15: I don't. I'm not gonna be working as of right now.
- 47:51Speaker 15: That's what I just tell you. So y'all do whatever
- 47:53Speaker 15: you have to do, and I'll do whatever I have
- 47:54Speaker 15: to do on my end.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Okay, well hold on it.
- 47:56Speaker 7: You're willing to quit your job. I'm not understanding this, and.
- 47:59Speaker 15: You're sure because I'm not gonna be taking care of
- 48:02Speaker 15: someone else's kids and not have my own. So how
- 48:04Speaker 15: that's right? So somebody else can take your minds then,
- 48:07Speaker 15: because I'm not gonna be doing it, You're so right?
- 48:09Speaker 2: All right?
- 48:10Speaker 7: Well, I mean, I'm just you know, don't I don't
- 48:11Speaker 7: want you to be upset with you. I don't want
- 48:13Speaker 7: you to be upset with me.
- 48:14Speaker 15: I can be able to contact you.
- 48:17Speaker 7: Okay, Now I'm gonna let I'm gonna let you know
- 48:19Speaker 7: this is a bit of information. You're still gonna if
- 48:22Speaker 7: you're quitting your job. Man, you guys are still going
- 48:24Speaker 7: to be liable for the child support.
- 48:27Speaker 15: Okay, well that's side not you guys, because it's not
- 48:29Speaker 15: my children, sir. Okay, it's not you guys. He will
- 48:34Speaker 15: be liable. Okay, Okay, because I don't I mean, can
- 48:37Speaker 15: I step you hold one moment because I need to
- 48:39Speaker 15: step outside. If that's okay, or if there's a number
- 48:42Speaker 15: I can contact you back.
- 48:43Speaker 7: Okay, are you able to step outside right now?
- 48:46Speaker 15: Yes, but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's
- 48:48Speaker 15: gonna kind of a calling.
- 48:50Speaker 7: Let's do this. Why don't you step outside? I wait
- 48:53Speaker 7: for you to call, give me about forty five seconds,
- 48:55Speaker 7: but I'm gonna give a call to my manager on
- 48:57Speaker 7: this situation.
- 48:57Speaker 15: Okay, please do a.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 49:04Speaker 15: Hello okay, miss yes.

- 49:11Speaker 7: Yes, ma'am, I sure can. Now, let's get to the
- 49:13Speaker 7: bottom of everything. I couldn't get my manager on the phone.
- 49:16Speaker 7: But I'll keep trying. I just want to know. I mean,
- 49:20Speaker 7: that's I'm just a message messenger.
- 49:22Speaker 15: Lette. I know you are, and I hate to be

- 54:18Speaker 7: Hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:20Speaker 7: is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:21Speaker 10: All right, thank you, nev. Subject We're not gonna make
- 54:24Speaker 10: it till November. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty seven
- 54:27Speaker 10: year old married married man. My wife's twenty nine year
- 54:31Speaker 10: old niece got divorced recently and moved back to town.
- 54:34Speaker 10: Her daughter is in a really good preschool that happens
- 54:38Speaker 10: to be by our house. So my wife asked if
- 54:40Speaker 10: she and her daughter can stay at our house until November,
- 54:43Speaker 10: when her alimony payments start and she can move into
- 54:46Speaker 10: her own house. She works part time for now and
- 54:49Speaker 10: I work second shift, so I don't head out to
- 54:52Speaker 10: work until two pm daily. My wife goes to work
- 54:55Speaker 10: around seven am and she drops the kid off at school.
- 54:58Speaker 10: The niece cooks me breakfast every morning. She told me
- 55:01Speaker 10: it's the least she can do for staying with us
- 55:04Speaker 10: for free. She can really cook too. I never had
- 55:08Speaker 10: homemade French toast or an egg white omelet. She cooks
- 55:12Speaker 10: in her pajamas, and I'm very comfortable with it, but
- 55:15Speaker 10: I wonder if she would put on a robe if
- 55:18Speaker 10: my wife was home. I get a lot of mixed
- 55:20Speaker 10: signals from this woman. She opened up about why her
- 55:23Speaker 10: marriage didn't work, and she looks sad a lot. I
- 55:26Speaker 10: want to reach out and hug her, but I can't
- 55:29Speaker 10: get close to her without being nervous. I'm not that strong.
- 55:32Speaker 10: I feel like she's flirting with me in a way.
- 55:35Speaker 10: The other day, she had a job interview and she
- 55:37Speaker 10: looks so good. After she got dressed, she asked me
- 55:40Speaker 10: to zip up her dress, and my hands were shaking.
- 55:43Speaker 10: I could feel her heart racing too. I don't think
- 55:48Speaker 10: we're going to make it until November. She has not
- 55:51Speaker 10: told my wife that she's been cooking for me, or
- 55:54Speaker 10: that she confides in me. She asked me to keep
- 55:57Speaker 10: that between us. What's up with this woman? Is she
- 56:00Speaker 10: waiting for me to make a move or am I dreaming?
- 56:02Speaker 10: What should I do?
- 56:05Speaker 8: Well?
- 56:05Speaker 10: One thing is true for sure. If you guys keep
- 56:08Speaker 10: this up, you will not make it until the weekend.
- 56:10Speaker 10: Forget November, you won't make it till the weekend. There's
- 56:14Speaker 10: way too much sexual tension going on in this house. Yes,
- 56:18Speaker 10: I think she's flirting and you know, trying to you know. Yeah,
- 56:23Speaker 10: I think she's flirting with you. And as nice as
- 56:25Speaker 10: your wife has been to her, I don't think that
- 56:29Speaker 10: she should turn around and do her sister like that.
- 56:31Speaker 10: Your wife has opened up her home, not her husband. Okay,
- 56:35Speaker 10: the husband is off limits. You should be nervous because
- 56:38Speaker 10: your wife's sister will have you caught up. She'll have
- 56:40Speaker 10: you divorced if you decide to take her on. You
- 56:45Speaker 10: haven't thought this through. I know you're a man. You
- 56:47Speaker 10: gotta use your brain, not your body parts in this situation.
- 56:51Speaker 10: And you know what I mean, Do not gamble with
- 56:53Speaker 10: her sister. Don't do this. It's not worth it. You've
- 56:56Speaker 10: got too much to lose. Don't be stupid, Okay, I
- 57:01Speaker 10: don't be stupid and lose everything. I know it's hard
- 57:03Speaker 10: to say no, you know, with her walking around in
- 57:06Speaker 10: her pj's and asking you to zip her dress up
- 57:08Speaker 10: and all that, and confiding in you, and look at
- 57:11Speaker 10: I know that she's cooking for you. You said she
- 57:14Speaker 10: can really really cook. You got to stop all this,
- 57:17Speaker 10: Stop being around her, stop eating her meals, stop zipping
- 57:20Speaker 10: up her dresses. You can't do that. You're a grown man.
- 57:23Speaker 10: You do have self control. You can say no if
- 57:25Speaker 10: it goes any further. But if you have to, just
- 57:28Speaker 10: leave the house, because you definitely aren't gonna make it
- 57:31Speaker 10: until November. Like I said, you won't make it till
- 57:33Speaker 10: the weekend.
- 57:34Speaker 7: Tommy, oh man, I feel so sorry for this brother.
- 57:41Speaker 7: I have a sympathy for him. I do because this
- 57:45Speaker 7: right here is a prime example of ass and eggs.
- 57:54Speaker 7: That's what this is. This is all about ass and eggs.
- 57:57Speaker 2: That's what this is. You understand, that's what this is?
- 58:00Speaker 2: What you know?
- 58:01Speaker 7: What this is?
- 58:02Speaker 2: Ass and eggs. That's what it is.
- 58:04Speaker 7: Now, y'all. Y'all, yeah, I know y'all might not be
- 58:06Speaker 7: with me on it, but I'm saying, mixed signals.
- 58:10Speaker 15: What is that?
- 58:11Speaker 2: Ass and eggs?
- 58:12Speaker 7: That's what that? No road? No road? What?
- 58:16Speaker 2: What? What?
- 58:16Speaker 8: What?
- 58:16Speaker 2: What is that you already know that is? That's ass
- 58:18Speaker 2: and eggs.
- 58:19Speaker 7: That's what this is. Come on, but but but every
- 58:23Speaker 7: man needs that to start his day. You understand what
- 58:26Speaker 7: I'm saying. That's how men love to start their day
- 58:29Speaker 7: before I get on the radio. That's the first thing
- 58:31Speaker 7: I'm asking.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Okay, all right, okay, I'm.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Sorry, caller.
- 58:38Speaker 7: If I go to the doctor's I don't want to
- 58:40Speaker 7: go to a doctor that is stressed. I want to
- 58:42Speaker 7: go to a doctor who has had what he's doing just.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Fat too much?
- 58:51Speaker 10: What what?
- 58:53Speaker 7: When I go to the nail shop, I want my
- 58:55Speaker 7: nail tech tools stop saying you up in the helm
- 59:00Speaker 7: my hands and feeting in your hand, and you don't
- 59:02Speaker 7: feel relaxed and stress when I get when I get
- 59:05Speaker 7: to church on Sunday, I want to.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Don't don't say eat don't say nothing. Move on.
- 59:14Speaker 7: Okay, but y'all, y'all think passing like we get it,
- 59:17Speaker 7: we get what you Okay, we're gonna say A and E.
- 59:20Speaker 7: Not the network, but A and E. Okay, A and E,
- 59:24Speaker 7: A and E, A and E? How about that? A
- 59:25Speaker 7: and E? All right, so let me go ahead and
- 59:27Speaker 7: tell you there's no way, ain't no way, no Vember happening.
- 59:33Speaker 7: This thing that happened, I promise you this week is
- 59:37Speaker 7: going down because every time I have helped, every time
- 59:40Speaker 7: I have zipped somebody up, I have zipped them.
- 59:43Speaker 2: I have zipped them right back down. I'm just trying
- 59:45Speaker 2: to take.
- 59:47Speaker 10: One more time.
- 59:48Speaker 7: Every time I have zipped someone up, I have zipped
- 59:53Speaker 7: them right back down.
- 59:56Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 59:57Speaker 7: I can't zip you up and not zip you down
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: at the same time. I'm sorry. This is just A
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: and E at its best. Every man driving right now,
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: the truck drivers, all of them love a little A
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: and E in the morning before going to work, A
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: and E.
- 1:00:14Speaker 11: It just helps us get through our day, am I right?
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: Man? All right, all you men out there, blow your horns.
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: If A and E is what you're really talking about,
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: A and E, come on, blow your horn. For some
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: A and E.
- 1:00:26Speaker 10: We have part two of the Strawberry Letter response coming
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: is We're not gonna make it till November. We'll get
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: back into it right after this.
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: Everything I've zip up, I've zip right back.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Then.
- 1:00:42Speaker 13: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:00:45Speaker 10: All right, it's time now to recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: The subject is we're not going to make it till November.
- 1:00:51Speaker 10: Now what you thought at first? Huh? This was written
- 1:00:56Speaker 10: by a man, a forty seven year old married man
- 1:00:59Speaker 10: who says that his wife's twenty nine year old niece
- 1:01:02Speaker 10: got divorced recently, so she moved back to town. His
- 1:01:05Speaker 10: wife as the niece to move in with them until
- 1:01:09Speaker 10: she gets her alimony in November. So the niece moved in.
- 1:01:13Speaker 10: She has a little girl. The little girl goes to
- 1:01:16Speaker 10: school near them, So the wife gets up and leaves
- 1:01:19Speaker 10: early in the morning, takes the baby to school and
- 1:01:22Speaker 10: all of that to preschool. Meanwhile, the husband works a
- 1:01:25Speaker 10: second shift, so he's at home. The niece, a twenty
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: nine year old niece, has a part time job, so
- 1:01:33Speaker 10: she's at home. So what's going on at home? While
- 1:01:36Speaker 10: the wife is at work. Well, the husband gets breakfast
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: every morning from the twenty nine year old niece, and
- 1:01:43Speaker 10: he says she can really cook. She makes him fremhly
- 1:01:46Speaker 10: toast egg white omelets, Tommy and all of that. She
- 1:01:54Speaker 10: cooks in her pjs. She doesn't have a robe on. Yeah,
- 1:01:58Speaker 10: so yeah, thinks that she's giving him mixed signals the
- 1:02:02Speaker 10: niece because he thinks she's flirting with him in a way.
- 1:02:06Speaker 10: She asked him to unzip her dress. I mean to
- 1:02:08Speaker 10: zip her dress back up because she had a job interview.
- 1:02:11Speaker 10: He says she was looking so good that day he
- 1:02:13Speaker 10: could barely zip it up because his hands were shaking
- 1:02:16Speaker 10: so much. Because it's a lot of sexual tension going
- 1:02:19Speaker 10: on in this house.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: She she confides in the husband, but she has told
- 1:02:24Speaker 10: him not to tell the wife what she and the
- 1:02:27Speaker 10: husband talk about, all right, to keep that between them.
- 1:02:31Speaker 10: So he wants to know what is up with this woman?
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: Is she waiting for him to make the first move
- 1:02:36Speaker 10: or is he dreaming? And what should he do? All right,
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: I said, do not get involved with this young woman
- 1:02:42Speaker 10: at all. He could don't gamble with her. He could
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: lose everything. Tommy said, A and E is what everybody.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Let's say.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: You bring it up.
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: Just a quick preview, all right, and Junior now it's
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: on you. Uh, we're not going to make it till November.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Listen.
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: All I know is you're gonna have to stop eating
- 1:03:09Speaker 12: breakfast in the morning. You gonna have to stop eating
- 1:03:12Speaker 12: his breakfast in the morning. You forty seven, she twenty nine.
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: You ain't got no business in there.
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:03:19Speaker 12: Judge Lenn Toler has a show called Divorce Court. I
- 1:03:21Speaker 12: don't know if y'all seen it. Yes, yeah, I'll watch
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: it a lot, and you're finna be on it. Behind
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: some French toat and some omelets. Go in there and
- 1:03:32Speaker 12: tell Judge Toler on this tailer how good the French
- 1:03:36Speaker 12: toast eggs was, and the French toes and them egg
- 1:03:38Speaker 12: white omelets that Joe brother has. Say, you ain't never had.
- 1:03:42Speaker 12: I ain't never had French toast and an egg white omelet?
- 1:03:45Speaker 11: You forty seven? Where have you been?
- 1:03:47Speaker 12: They've been making fresh toast from scratch. How do you
- 1:03:49Speaker 12: think you get the French toast big pancakes at home
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: from scratch? You gotta have batter mix. It's just better.
- 1:03:57Speaker 12: It's the same thing. It's the same exacting. But you know,
- 1:04:01Speaker 12: but here's some things you feel to lose.
- 1:04:03Speaker 11: Like your house.
- 1:04:04Speaker 12: You gonna tell Judge Lin told about your house because
- 1:04:06Speaker 12: you feel to lose that.
- 1:04:07Speaker 11: Uh, your car, you're finna lose that too.
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: Uh.
- 1:04:10Speaker 12: The alimony that she waiting to get you finna start paying,
- 1:04:13Speaker 12: because you're gonna have to pay that as well. Uh
- 1:04:15Speaker 12: your kids every other weekend. Start thinking about that. Start
- 1:04:18Speaker 12: thinking about that. Uh the pajamas you was looking at,
- 1:04:21Speaker 12: that's gonna cost you everything.
- 1:04:23Speaker 11: Don't even worry about zipping her dress up.
- 1:04:25Speaker 12: Tell her to go in that closet, get a wild hanger,
- 1:04:28Speaker 12: undo it and try to break in your car. Like
- 1:04:31Speaker 12: you're breaking your car with a wild hanger. Try to
- 1:04:33Speaker 12: zip it up over your back like that. That's how
- 1:04:35Speaker 12: you zip your dress up. Don't put your hands on this.
- 1:04:39Speaker 12: That because I seen we sha do it. That's how
- 1:04:41Speaker 12: I know.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how I know.
- 1:04:44Speaker 11: That's how you zip your dress up.
- 1:04:46Speaker 12: Yeah, undo a hanger, look in the mirror and put
- 1:04:49Speaker 12: that like you, just like we try to break in
- 1:04:51Speaker 12: our car, we put that hanger.
- 1:04:53Speaker 11: Try to unlock that lot. Do the same thing with you.
- 1:04:55Speaker 11: Zip on your desk.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: You said, it's just like that, just like you gotta.

- 1:05:32Speaker 12: What you need to do is take the baby to

- 1:05:40Speaker 12: you go to work. You everybody lead a house at seven,
- 1:05:42Speaker 12: is what I'm saying.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Everybody.
- 1:05:44Speaker 12: You don't she need to been there by herself because
- 1:05:46Speaker 12: you keep getting up everyone. But if she flirting with you,
- 1:05:49Speaker 12: I don't know if she flirts, I don't know.
- 1:05:51Speaker 11: What she's doing. But you need to be on first shift.
- 1:05:53Speaker 11: You need to go on in and change, put your
- 1:05:54Speaker 11: request in what.
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: Jor you take the baby. I'll zip her up though.

- 1:06:05Speaker 11: to lose it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: Like man, we're not leaving a perfect good zipp or
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: unzipped up, zipped up.
- 1:06:12Speaker 12: Like hey, go in that mirror, look around your back,
- 1:06:18Speaker 12: look over your shoulder, and care that hanger and zip
- 1:06:20Speaker 12: it up.
- 1:06:20Speaker 11: Pull it.
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: What would you guys do in that situation?
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: I mean.
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: At my house?
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: No, no, no, I'm not I'm not doing that.
- 1:06:29Speaker 10: You're not going to be around this.

- 1:06:35Speaker 11: I'm gonna cut the gas off in the house. We're
- 1:06:37Speaker 11: not making breakfast.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: That's what.
- 1:06:40Speaker 12: This stove will not be hot by the time she
- 1:06:42Speaker 12: getting ready to make breakfast. We ain't got no gas
- 1:06:43Speaker 12: in here.
- 1:06:47Speaker 11: Somebody's restaurant eat breakfast.

- 1:07:05Speaker 10: it today now, coming up at forty six minutes after
- 1:07:08Speaker 10: the our Junior and Sports Talk right after this.
- 1:07:12Speaker 13: You're listening Morning show and it's.
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: Time now for Junior and sports Talk.
- 1:07:17Speaker 11: Junior, What the have y'all seen this man?
- 1:07:22Speaker 12: Terrell Davis? Y'all see what happened to Drell Davis? Do
- 1:07:24Speaker 12: you own to Denver Bronco Hall of Fame or running back?
- 1:07:28Speaker 12: This don't make no sense, Yes, this don't make no sense.
- 1:07:32Speaker 12: This man was kicked off a flight, handcuffed off a flight, actually,
- 1:07:36Speaker 12: but during the fight, he asked for some ice from
- 1:07:38Speaker 12: a flight attendant tapp him on the shoulder. The flight
- 1:07:40Speaker 12: attendant swings around says, get your hands off me and
- 1:07:43Speaker 12: don't hit me. And then the other person said, hey,
- 1:07:45Speaker 12: he didn't hit you. Another pass said he didn't hit you.
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: All he did was ask for ice. When the plane
- 1:07:51Speaker 12: landed in Orange County, he was handcuffed by the FBI
- 1:07:54Speaker 12: and escorted off the plane in front.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: Of his wife.
- 1:07:57Speaker 11: Yeah, and his three children, his boys, yes, boys.
- 1:08:02Speaker 12: And I believe yeah, And this don't make no sense
- 1:08:05Speaker 12: because how in the world we cannot even ask fight
- 1:08:08Speaker 12: attendants for ice now on planes.
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: It wasn't that he touched her that upset. You can't
- 1:08:15Speaker 9: touch them here, okay, you can You can't touch him.
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: So that's she did the flight attend to overreact?
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Yes, okay, exactly.
- 1:08:24Speaker 11: I'm trying to understand.
- 1:08:25Speaker 12: How is he is he getting escorted off in handcuffs?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's terrible for that.
- 1:08:30Speaker 12: Now he wasn't ticketed or cited for the incident, but
- 1:08:33Speaker 12: he is going to sue United Airlines.
- 1:08:36Speaker 11: He's soon.
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: He should he should.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeh today I know they apologize.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: That's not good enough for me.
- 1:08:43Speaker 12: That's not good enough because what about the embarrassment of
- 1:08:46Speaker 12: getting arrested in front of your wife and handcuffed in front.
- 1:08:49Speaker 11: Of your wife and your children? Though, like, how does
- 1:08:52Speaker 11: that make you feel?
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: As much as I fly, there's some attitudes on them planes.
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: Man put up with a yes, But I don't think
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: in this situation, I don't think. I don't think this
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: one was right. I don't think what happened to Terrell
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: was right. I mean he was trying to get somebody. Yeah,
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: I mean, whenever you not tap someone on the shoulder.
- 1:09:16Speaker 10: For the attention, why you know the difference between someone
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: tapping you in a hit?
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Yeah, hit it?
- 1:09:26Speaker 11: You would know it? Yeah, you know to.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Them, that's for sure.
- 1:09:29Speaker 11: But is that what it is called?
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: It?
- 1:09:30Speaker 12: You cannot touch flight attendant at all, and you shouldn't
- 1:09:33Speaker 12: be touching them.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: You should not.
- 1:09:35Speaker 9: You have to get their attention, but you shouldn't be
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: tapping on them. And I guess we were to this
- 1:09:40Speaker 9: point because of all the crazies that had been on
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: the plane acting crazy. So I get them being on
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: edge and all that, but in this particular instance, you know,
- 1:09:51Speaker 9: even the airline apologized, they recognized that the flight attendant overreacted,
- 1:09:56Speaker 9: and it was he was humiliating in front of his
- 1:09:58Speaker 9: family and embarrassed.
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: You have to little and I think a good ten
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: million dollars would make me feel good.
- 1:10:03Speaker 12: That was That was straight out we placed on leave
- 1:10:11Speaker 12: at this point from United Airlines that fight attendant is
- 1:10:13Speaker 12: on leave.
- 1:10:15Speaker 11: So I just thought it was just why.
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: The only leave, Why we ain't on Why we ain't
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: only left, Why we ain't on gone?
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Why why is that?
- 1:10:22Speaker 10: Okay, coming up, a man on social media needs some advice.
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: He about talking to his wife about his past. Okay,
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: we'll talk about that right after this. You're listening Morning show.
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: This is from B on Steve Harvey. F m B says,
- 1:10:42Speaker 10: my wife's friend visited us over the fourth and one
- 1:10:45Speaker 10: night when my wife was asleep. Her friend and I
- 1:10:48Speaker 10: talked into the night about my wife before I met her.
- 1:10:51Speaker 10: I was kind of shocked at her friend's description of
- 1:10:53Speaker 10: my wife in her twenties, and on some level, I
- 1:10:56Speaker 10: wish she would act more like that now. For one,
- 1:10:59Speaker 10: her friend told me that my wife was very sexually
- 1:11:01Speaker 10: adventurous back then. I'd like to discuss this with my wife,
- 1:11:05Speaker 10: but I don't want to cause a rift between her
- 1:11:07Speaker 10: and her friend, since her friend may have been talking
- 1:11:10Speaker 10: about stuff my wife wouldn't have wanted her to. So
- 1:11:13Speaker 10: how can I bring this subject up to my wife
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: without damaging her relationship with her friend.
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: You can't bring this up. Oh, as far as I'm concerned,
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: this conversation never happened. You can't bring this up, Pardner.
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: All right, now, you found out some information about your baby. Cool,
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: that's good. It was a good information. You learned that
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: she was very sexual and you like that part.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Good.
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: Now you got to figure out your own way of
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: pulling that out. But you can't. You can't not have
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: this conversation and talk about you had a conversation with
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: her girlfriend.
- 1:11:43Speaker 10: No, my friend, Yeah, your mouth. She was out there,
- 1:11:49Speaker 10: she was.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Back in the day.
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: No saying.
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: So you say Jackie was working on the rooftop.
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: Yeah, that's one time we were in Vegas.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: Hey what what?
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: No, No, that's not a good thing at all.
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: Do that, brother, You found out some information. It wasn't
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: bad or not not like another man or something like that.
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: So you cool and just just just just right it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: It is what it is. Some men just don't know
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: when to stop. Just Hey, you found out something. It's
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: pretty good information. You could use it later, but you
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: never talk about that. You had this conversation with this woman. Stop.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: I'm sure y'all was out there on that patio drinking
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: and you got all that information coming up. Boy, that's
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: what happened. She had that lick with.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Don't be mad at her. She was drinking.
- 1:12:40Speaker 9: Oh no, I'm mad at her running her. Yeah, but
- 1:12:44Speaker 9: telling where the bodies are buried and and all that.
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: Well, you shouldn't have left. You shouldn't have left them
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: out there, but about their beer, and come on out
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: there and see what they're talking about.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I thought they would sleep.
- 1:12:55Speaker 10: What happens in our twenties stage, in our twenties, thirties, thirtiesies.
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: Mess around and wake up, mess around and wake up
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: and what's gonna be happening?
- 1:13:08Speaker 9: Why here you what you got?
- 1:13:14Speaker 12: I said, I mean, no, man, you can't bring it
- 1:13:16Speaker 12: up to your wife, and you need to stop talking
- 1:13:17Speaker 12: to a friend. But on top of that, ain't nobody
- 1:13:20Speaker 12: who they was in their twenties? Now you know, I'm
- 1:13:22Speaker 12: not my wife ain't the same person she was in
- 1:13:25Speaker 12: her twenties. I mean she probably was sexually adventurous and
- 1:13:29Speaker 12: all that type stuff in her twenties or whatever, you
- 1:13:31Speaker 12: know with me and everything. But it ain't happening now
- 1:13:34Speaker 12: because now you know, we got grand baby, so it's
- 1:13:36Speaker 12: kind of hard to be sexual. We're watching frozen all
- 1:13:38Speaker 12: the time. You can't have nothing happen and frozen at all.
- 1:13:41Speaker 12: You can't touch her shoulder and the grand baby right there.
- 1:13:44Speaker 11: I can't do nothing.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:13:46Speaker 12: You ain't finna get that woman no more. That woman gone,
- 1:13:50Speaker 12: that's not the one you fin get. Let it go,
- 1:13:52Speaker 12: Let it go.
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: That's what I'm taking that.
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: Don't nobody look like they looked in.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Ain't working?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: He shocked all of that.
- 1:14:02Speaker 11: That's what I'm doing. That's what I got to try
- 1:14:03Speaker 11: to work with.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:14:05Speaker 10: We have done for another one from Darryl Daryl and
- 1:14:08Speaker 10: Steve Harvey FM says, after two decades of marriage, I'm
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: back into the dating scene and I'm legitimately terrified. Things
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: have changed so much and I feel like one wrong
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: move can ruin everything. One of my big things is
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: wondering about how to pay for the first date. I
- 1:14:23Speaker 10: just assume and that if I'm the one that asked
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: her out, then I'm the one that's paying. However, I
- 1:14:28Speaker 10: also understand that times and attitudes have changed. How do
- 1:14:31Speaker 10: I address this without making it a thing? You know,
- 1:14:35Speaker 10: I like him.
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: You just got to step out there and try it.
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: I don't know how this this, this this dating game
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: is different. It's really really different. You gotta just step
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: out there and give it a shot. And don't don't
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: do no texting because old people that we don't know
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: how to text, right, So don't do that. You're gonna
- 1:14:49Speaker 7: mess something up. Commune, I communicate the skills, this shot whatever.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: It ain't changed that much. Pay the bills. But I like.
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: The first check. I mean, I ain't seen that. What
- 1:15:00Speaker 11: do it on a first day?
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: No pain?
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: Check? Yeah?
- 1:15:05Speaker 10: Date every day something?
- 1:15:07Speaker 16: All?
- 1:15:07Speaker 10: Everything hasn't changed.
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: Right, Who was you dating? Just paint a check?
- 1:15:15Speaker 10: All right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:18Speaker 10: Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:15:20Speaker 10: after this, you're.
- 1:15:22Speaker 13: Listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:26Speaker 10: This is kind of crazy. Guess who donated to the
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: Kamala Harris's attorney general campaign? This was back in twenty eleven.
- 1:15:33Speaker 10: In twenty fourteen, Just take a wild guess donated to
- 1:15:38Speaker 10: her campaign?
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I'm a president Donald Trump.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: Oh, we got receipts.
- 1:15:46Speaker 10: You donated not once, but twice to re elect Kamala
- 1:15:50Speaker 10: Harris as the attorney general of California. The state record
- 1:15:54Speaker 10: show that Trump contributed five thousand dollars in September of
- 1:15:57Speaker 10: twenty eleven towards Harris's twenty fourteen reelection campaign, and then
- 1:16:02Speaker 10: followed that up with another thousand dollars in February twenty thirteen.
- 1:16:07Speaker 10: His daughter Ivanka also donated to the campaign, contributing two
- 1:16:11Speaker 10: thousand and twenty fourteen. However, Kamala Harris did not keep
- 1:16:16Speaker 10: the six thousand dollars from Trump. A spokesperson told the
- 1:16:19Speaker 10: Sacramento b in twenty twenty that she donated the money
- 1:16:22Speaker 10: to a nonprofit that advocates for civil and human rights
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: for Central Americans. In twenty fifteen.
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: So there you go.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: See even he knew back in the day the woman.
- 1:16:34Speaker 11: Did she just come up in the debate? You should
- 1:16:36Speaker 11: bring this up.
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: Thank you, by the way for that donation you gave me.
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: Us.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we got receipts.
- 1:16:47Speaker 10: Uh huh, for sure, we got checks though.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: That's what we're doing.
- 1:16:53Speaker 10: You've been backing me, yes, another asking what has she done?
- 1:16:58Speaker 13: Come on.
- 1:17:00Speaker 10: Coming up with thirty three minutes after the hour, guys,
- 1:17:02Speaker 10: we'll play another round of would you rather? Right after this?
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Can we expect your vote too?
- 1:17:09Speaker 13: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:17:12Speaker 10: It's time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:17:14Speaker 10: Would you rather, guys, be unable to use Google again?
- 1:17:19Speaker 10: Or would you rather be unable to use social media?
- 1:17:22Speaker 10: It's kind of the same, but not.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: Kind of.
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: I need that Google, Yeah, I need that Google.
- 1:17:31Speaker 10: I gotta be Yeah, you gotta find out what's going on. Yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 10: But a lot of people use social media to do
- 1:17:37Speaker 10: the same thing. They don't fact check.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: That's scary.
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: Look, you ain't never heard of, right, Jamaican fish fry.
- 1:17:48Speaker 10: I'm guilty of that. Use this and you look like
- 1:17:53Speaker 10: this all right? Would you rather only eat pizza for
- 1:17:57Speaker 10: the rest of your life or would you only rather
- 1:18:00Speaker 10: eat barbecue for the rest of your life? So pizza
- 1:18:03Speaker 10: or barbecue? Which ones?
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: Either way? We locked up?
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: God locked.
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: That barbecue gonna get old?
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Is it every day? Is it?
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: Yeah? D's chicken brisket?
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: Is it?
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Come on, shairt s.
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: I'm going with the pizza.
- 1:18:31Speaker 13: Yes, there's too.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: Much bread though, that's too much glue.
- 1:18:34Speaker 10: Okay, gluten free pizza.
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: I'm back at the barbecue. Come on, I'm back at
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: the bar jr.
- 1:18:40Speaker 11: I never left barbecue. Question me.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: I never left.
- 1:18:44Speaker 11: I knewhere I was going. I was waiting on time.
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: This ain't hard for me. I grew. I started my
- 1:18:49Speaker 11: life at a with a rib at too. Why would
- 1:18:51Speaker 11: I get that up?
- 1:18:51Speaker 15: Now?
- 1:18:52Speaker 11: Been on it all my life?
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: Like committment?
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: What stup?
- 1:18:55Speaker 16: Now?
- 1:18:56Speaker 11: Come out of South Park? We didn't know what pizza was,
- 1:19:04Speaker 11: all right?
- 1:19:04Speaker 10: Would you rather have a rock in your shoe or
- 1:19:06Speaker 10: only wear wet socks? Rocking your shoes or only wear
- 1:19:10Speaker 10: wet socks that rock, That rock gonna slow you down?
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: Give me that, Give me that wet sode.

- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Feet stinking.
- 1:19:27Speaker 12: Milk jewy, but that druggon on my half though, that's
- 1:19:29Speaker 12: gonna be the just.
- 1:19:33Speaker 7: That's gonna cut.
- 1:19:34Speaker 10: Would you rather your skin change colors based on your
- 1:19:38Speaker 10: mood like a mood ring? Or would you rather your
- 1:19:42Speaker 10: Would you rather tattoos pop up on your body based
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: on what you did yesterday?
- 1:19:48Speaker 7: Oh? No, my skin, my skin. I would avatar, y'all.
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: Ass I here, I'd be blue. I ain't like I
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: swear I'd be blue yellow y'all. I'd just be changing
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: on you. No, I'd rather be my skin, just change colors.
- 1:19:59Speaker 10: I would tattoos pop up on you based on what
- 1:20:02Speaker 10: you did yesterday. It could be very challenging.
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: That's that's that's telling what I'm doing now, all right,
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: Junior Jack went last night skin skin. I got to
- 1:20:13Speaker 7: put my whole body up and cover it up because
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: you tattooed from the prop.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: Up and show.
- 1:20:22Speaker 10: Junior.
- 1:20:23Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm going I'm changing colors.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: I'm not OK.
- 1:20:25Speaker 11: Not finishing.
- 1:20:27Speaker 10: All right, guys, thank you. That's today's roundup. Would you
- 1:20:29Speaker 10: rather coming up at forty nine minutes after? It's our
- 1:20:32Speaker 10: last break of the day, and we'll close out the
- 1:20:34Speaker 10: show right after this. You're listening hard morning show. All right, Steve,
- 1:20:39Speaker 10: here we are. It is the last break of the day.
- 1:20:42Speaker 11: It's the last break of the day.
- 1:20:45Speaker 10: Love it, and I know you want to leave us
- 1:20:46Speaker 10: with some closing reminds.
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: Steve.
- 1:20:48Speaker 6: You know, last night when I finished up Family Feud,
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: I was talking to the audience and we were talking
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: about hanging in there, and one of the audience members
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: was saying that they feel underqualified because they work around
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: and live around a lot of people with education, and
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: education is important to a lot of people and in
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: a lot of fields.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: And please know, education is really really great to have.
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: I'm not knocking it in any shape, form or fashion,
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: so please don't misunderstand me. But I was asking this
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: person were they good at school? And they said no,
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: never have been in it. Ask them what they want
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: to be in life? Do you have to go to school?
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: They said not really, And so that kind of troubled
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: me a little bit because I was ended up talking
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: to a person who was trying to shape who they
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: really wanted to be and who they saw themselves becoming,
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: but were trying to shape it in the image of
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: other external people on the outside and around him. And
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: I began to talk to this guy and I try
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: to enlighten him to some things. You know, education is
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: important and you should get as much as you can,
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: but you can become successful without an education. Now, understand something.
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: If you want to be a doctor, dentist, lawyer, you
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: know you want to work in certain branches and the fields.
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: Of course, you can't be a teacher without an education,
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: can't be a professor without one, can't be a lawyer, doctor, dentists, scientists.
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: There are things that require an education. But if your
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: imagination has you somewhere else, stop letting other people try
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: to put you in the box that they came out of.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: There are some people that no matter how you talk.
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: To them, if you don't do it, they wait, then
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: you ain't doing it the right way. I cannot even
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: began to tell you how many people have tried to
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: talk me off of the path I was on when
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: clearly God had put me on another path. I tried
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: to go to college. I did. I've never been a
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: great student. Once again, understand me. Now, I'm not knocking education,
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: because I tell people all the time I admire people
- 1:23:23Speaker 6: who climbed the corporate letter through education, who climbed the
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: educational field that is like amazing to me, because that's
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: not a skill set I have. But I can't tell
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: you how many people have tried to talk me off
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: my path. Do you know one time a lady once
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: told me at a major institution that if you want
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: to rep this institution, you're going to have to go
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: back to college. And I said, go back to college
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: for what? And they said, because it would make a
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: better statement if you are a college graduate yourself. And
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: I wasn't being arrogant or anything, but I was looking
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: at this lady trying to figure out what better statement
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: could I make than crawling out of homelessness, putting my
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: faith in trust in God, and asking God to rescue
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: me from all the.
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: Mistakes I've made.
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: Watch him do it climb as where now I may
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: not be up there where you think I ought to be,
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: and I may not talk to where you think I
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: ought to talk, But the God I served delivered me
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: from so many mistakes I had made, college being one
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: of them. What better testament? What better story can I tell?
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: Don't let people put you in the box just because
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: that's the box that they jumped out of.
- 1:24:41Speaker 19: That ain't your box, That ain't your route, that ain't
- 1:24:45Speaker 19: your journey, That ain't your ticket. You have got to
- 1:24:51Speaker 19: put your faith in God and understand that all of
- 1:24:55Speaker 19: us are on a different journey in life. Ain't nobody
- 1:24:59Speaker 19: traveling negstis exact same path and exact same footsteps as nobody.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: I have admired so many people in this world.
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: I have tried to pattern myself after certain people in
- 1:25:11Speaker 6: this world. But no matter how hard I try, I
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: have found no one who has taken the exact same
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: footsteps as me.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: And that don't make them better than me, less than me.
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: It just ain't no two people taking the exact same footsteps.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Look.
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: I admired Richard Pryor. I admired Muhammad Ali. I admired
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: Martin Luther King. I admired Michael Jordan, I admired Gandhi.
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: I admired Mother Teresa. I admired Bishop td Jakes. I
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: admire Bishop Geddy's, I admire Joe Oldstein. I admire Bishop
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: Kenneth Omer, I admired Donnie Kirk Kirkley. I admire a
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: lot of people, but they footsteps. Sain't mind not the
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: exact footsteps. I can learn from something they've all taught me.
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: I can learn from some things I've watched them do.
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: But at the end of the day, this is your journey.
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: Your journey is as unique as your fingerprint.
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: And that's how special.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: God made each and every one of us, because we
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: all got a different fingerprint. It's billions, over seven billion
- 1:26:26Speaker 6: people in this world. Ain't no two people got the
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: same fingerprint. So how to too of you gonna take
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: the same steps? You better, you better listen to this.
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: It ain't your journey, It ain't your path. Get on
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: your path, Get on your journey, get on your faith,
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: get on your knees, and accomplish your job, your dreams,
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: make your dreams come true. Follow your heart, follow your goals,
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: follow your imagination. God is good and he can get
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: you there. And no where does it say a man
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: without an education shall fail. It says a man without
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: a dream of vision shall parish. Dust them off, handle
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: your business. Those are my clothing, maw y'all have.
