- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them more,
- 0:14Speaker 1: just like theming buck bus things. And it's costing me
- 0:19Speaker 1: through good it. Steve has listening to move together for
- 0:26Speaker 1: Steve had please to Moby, I don't join joined me
- 0:50Speaker 1: to be doing men. You gotta turn you gotta turn
- 1:40Speaker 1: to turn them out, got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come, come on your baby at it?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I shaw well, I good more than everybody
- 2:04Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice. Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: got one. Hey. You know, I thought I think of
- 2:17Speaker 1: my life in terms of blessings. You know, I take
- 2:19Speaker 1: mostly a positive approach and a positive spin to my life.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I hardly ever dwell on you know, the what's well.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I can't say that I don't think about the what's
- 2:31Speaker 1: wrong in it because I have to, because I have
- 2:33Speaker 1: to address problems as they arise. But I try not
- 2:37Speaker 1: to let them consume me. I let the consumption part
- 2:41Speaker 1: be about the blessings, the positive things that has occurred
- 2:46Speaker 1: in my life, the good things that God has done
- 2:48Speaker 1: for me, the power that he's displayed in my life,
- 2:52Speaker 1: the protection he's given me over the years, to being
- 2:56Speaker 1: tucked under his wings. I focus on the things that
- 3:00Speaker 1: he promises me. I think of all all the goodness
- 3:03Speaker 1: that I perceived to come my way. I think that
- 3:06Speaker 1: has a lot to do with me learning more and
- 3:08Speaker 1: more about the law of attraction in terms of you know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: what you think and what you put out into space,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and what you pray about is what you receive, you know,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and so I've become better and better at that. It's
- 3:22Speaker 1: not to say that I'm not human and I don't
- 3:25Speaker 1: have moments where I think a little bit too long
- 3:28Speaker 1: about what's going wrong and what enemy is about to
- 3:32Speaker 1: attack and what they're going to do and saying and
- 3:34Speaker 1: all of this is his. That's not to say that
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm not concerned about it. But I try to duel
- 3:39Speaker 1: mostly on the positive. And one of the things that
- 3:43Speaker 1: I learned, you can have an incredible life, all of us.
- 3:48Speaker 1: We can have incredible lives if we just let God drive. See.
- 3:53Speaker 1: The problem that I had years ago was I was
- 3:58Speaker 1: the driver of my life, and I was taking myself
- 4:02Speaker 1: into directions that I thought would be best for me
- 4:06Speaker 1: and I aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and I set goals that I saw myself being able
- 4:14Speaker 1: to attain. I was driving when I gave up and
- 4:19Speaker 1: I let God drive. I then opened up my mind
- 4:23Speaker 1: and my spirit to what God had for me, for
- 4:27Speaker 1: what God could see for me, for what God could
- 4:31Speaker 1: do in my life, well, for what God wanted for me.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Now he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make,
- 4:44Speaker 1: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:46Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:51Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 1: be nearly as demanding and a offsetting as you think
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
- 5:04Speaker 1: God's will, that if I let God tell me what
- 5:07Speaker 1: to do, that it would cause me to not to
- 5:10Speaker 1: be able to do a certain some things I wanted
- 5:12Speaker 1: to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
- 5:15Speaker 1: wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
- 5:18Speaker 1: and my future and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man, because see,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:27Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:30Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:32Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:35Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:40Speaker 1: part of it. And that's the part that I finally
- 5:43Speaker 1: got through my head to let God do it his
- 5:45Speaker 1: way and to show me a better way, and to
- 5:49Speaker 1: teach me a better way and expose to me a
- 5:52Speaker 1: better way. And when I opened up my mind to
- 5:54Speaker 1: what God was talking about, I began to see things
- 5:58Speaker 1: totally differently, and think started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:05Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:08Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:16Speaker 1: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:22Speaker 1: if I told it all day long, would he done
- 6:24Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:27Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what He's done for me because it's such
- 6:31Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:35Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:39Speaker 1: because I'm still shocked. You can't be him. You can
- 6:43Speaker 1: strive for perfection. I hear people saying it all the time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I applaud you for saying you want to be perfect,
- 6:48Speaker 1: but you ain't and you can't. So you quit saying it.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You quit saying it to me, quit saying it to
- 6:54Speaker 1: other people. I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: something that you cannot have because he said you can't
- 7:01Speaker 1: do it. But that's what he'd have for. He'd have
- 7:04Speaker 1: for the moments when you stumble and you fall, and
- 7:06Speaker 1: you gonna stumble and fall. So you got to get
- 7:08Speaker 1: that part right. Man to stumbling falling part is coming.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But see, you get God in your life and it
- 7:14Speaker 1: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll over,
- 7:19Speaker 1: laid their languish. That's what God is for. So when
- 7:23Speaker 1: you stumbling, fall, you get back up because you're going
- 7:26Speaker 1: to make mistakes, You're going to get it wrong, You're
- 7:30Speaker 1: going to come under attack, you're going to be lied about,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you are going to be falsely accused. That's going to
- 7:37Speaker 1: happen to you the moment you make a decision to
- 7:40Speaker 1: do better, the moment you try to be more. The
- 7:44Speaker 1: devil got to send his attackers man, and he controls
- 7:47Speaker 1: certain people. He just got people as on his side
- 7:50Speaker 1: twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all met
- 7:54Speaker 1: one or two of me in your life. They're just
- 7:56Speaker 1: busy with the business of nothingness. They just busy about
- 8:00Speaker 1: to do about the destruction of others. You said, I
- 8:04Speaker 1: know him, you know him. They coming. But here's what
- 8:07Speaker 1: you got to hold fast too. They can't take away
- 8:10Speaker 1: nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,
- 8:15Speaker 1: people who claim to have made you, if they're so
- 8:19Speaker 1: in to make you business, why don't they make theirselves?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Or if they ain't with you no more, and they're
- 8:24Speaker 1: so busy in them I made you business, why don't
- 8:28Speaker 1: they make somebody else? Since since you want to get
- 8:31Speaker 1: credit from making somebody make yourself, if you're responsible for
- 8:37Speaker 1: someone else's success, then you should easily be able to
- 8:40Speaker 1: take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:43Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 8:47Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. I
- 8:50Speaker 1: just hope, man, that I'm giving it to God the
- 8:53Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him, that
- 8:55Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 8:58Speaker 1: supposed to without being you know, or here he come again?
- 9:01Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, but man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:05Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show. What else you want me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours? I can't give God
- 9:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:16Speaker 1: give an honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise that you ain't got
- 9:26Speaker 1: twelve minutes to give him out the day. That don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: make no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life
- 9:33Speaker 1: God has given me in exchange for so small of
- 9:36Speaker 1: effort that I put forth. Don't let the effort you
- 9:38Speaker 1: got to put forth to God seem so dawning that
- 9:41Speaker 1: you don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems
- 9:43Speaker 1: like a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what
- 9:45Speaker 1: he'd be given us for real. So if you want
- 9:48Speaker 1: a real life, you want a real shot at what
- 9:49Speaker 1: you can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:51Speaker 1: what you can become who you really are. Go to God.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let him fix you. Man. That's all you're listening. Ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, Welcome to the ride. Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:05Speaker 1: A live and vivid color. I say vivid color color.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I am the vivid Yeah, okay, everybody else's color? Yeah,
- 10:19Speaker 1: colors are beautiful or you gotta have colors. Make rainbow,
- 10:22Speaker 1: you gotta have colors. Make a peacock, you gotta have colors,
- 10:25Speaker 1: make a flag, you gotta have colors. You gotta have colors.
- 10:29Speaker 1: You gonna be in the game. What's up show? I'm blue, Steve,
- 10:33Speaker 1: Good morning. Blue Is your favorite color? Now? It is? Yeah?
- 10:37Speaker 1: What what do you mean now? Oh you don't know?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Oh cause your hands? Oh okay, so yours? Okay? I
- 10:47Speaker 1: got a color for real, Hey, Steve, my favorite colors
- 10:50Speaker 1: black baby. Okay, we're gonna skip over that. I'm out that. June,
- 10:59Speaker 1: y'all more than up. My favorite color cam mail. Your
- 11:04Speaker 1: favorite color is cammel. Yeah, because that's who got that
- 11:08Speaker 1: as a favorite color me. I ain't never heard nobody
- 11:11Speaker 1: say Camil, I just did. It's a night a delicious candy.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Sunday topping. Yeah, yeah, that's it,
- 11:22Speaker 1: with full compliment, tonight this is awsome. Yeah, this is
- 11:26Speaker 1: your favorite color, this is the day. I don't know, man,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I'm a multi color guy. I like black, white. Gray
- 11:35Speaker 1: used to be my least favorite color because gray it
- 11:37Speaker 1: is so hard to match shades. Man, if you're sitting
- 11:41Speaker 1: up here, if you're trying to if you buy a
- 11:42Speaker 1: gray suit and you somewhere else trying to buy a
- 11:44Speaker 1: gray shoe, you fin to blow it. Oh yeah, there's
- 11:48Speaker 1: a tie somewhere else in a gray shot. Yeah, you're
- 11:51Speaker 1: trying to be a monotone. Now you're not. You're not.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You fit to be all different shades. Take all that
- 11:57Speaker 1: stuff with you when you Gray is very difficult to match,
- 12:00Speaker 1: Green is very difficult to match, and blues are tough.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But it blues are easier than grays and green. Yeah,
- 12:07Speaker 1: but because blues you could be often still kind of
- 12:11Speaker 1: but your greens, your greens. Yeah yeah, I've tried it
- 12:16Speaker 1: many times. I've had more more unsuccessful attempts at magic green. No,
- 12:24Speaker 1: just minus gray or black is hard to Steve. Oh yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: you know what black is hard. It's hard. I've seen it. Yeah,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I had everything. Yeah, but when you ain't got the same,
- 12:39Speaker 1: you ain't got the you know, you know, you know
- 12:41Speaker 1: when you don't have the same black owned huh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 1: you got ashy black, wash black, gray, black, midnight black.
- 12:52Speaker 1: That ain't really blue black, purple blacklue black, purple black blue.
- 12:56Speaker 1: My father was purple black. Right, we didn't went from
- 13:01Speaker 1: closed to skin color. Okay, well you say purple black.
- 13:04Speaker 1: My daddy was purple black. Yo. Yeah, man, that was
- 13:10Speaker 1: my dude. No, that wasn't no wrong, That was a
- 13:12Speaker 1: cold dude. His skin was pretty. Yes, you could say
- 13:17Speaker 1: something too inbout it if you want to, because what
- 13:20Speaker 1: would this clapback to be, Steve clapback? Hey man, my
- 13:26Speaker 1: father didn't have My father didn't know what a clapback. Woof.
- 13:30Speaker 1: All right, we'll check this out coming up at thirty
- 13:32Speaker 1: two after the hour. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has quit. Finally
- 13:37Speaker 1: you can't, y'all. We'll talk about it. We'll get into
- 13:41Speaker 1: it at thirty two after the hour. Right after this,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Morning Show. Well, Steve, today is President
- 13:49Speaker 1: Trump's seventy third birthday. And in trending political news, Yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 1: White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is leaving. She
- 13:59Speaker 1: isn't thing all right, can't do it, but she she
- 14:05Speaker 1: had a long run. Now, come on, three years is
- 14:07Speaker 1: a long time under this current administration. Three years, Yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 1: they keep saying that. Well, I mean three years were
- 14:17Speaker 1: two and a half. Well, well, listen, the first one
- 14:21Speaker 1: only stayed like six months, spicy, Yeah, Sean Spicer, Yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 1: he only stayed like six months, remember, right, and this
- 14:32Speaker 1: is he got in at two thousand and sixteen, This
- 14:35Speaker 1: is two thousand nine, two and a half Spicer, Sean Spicer, smoosh,
- 14:41Speaker 1: he stayed eleven days. And then I told y'all, look,
- 14:46Speaker 1: I saw the look on her face, and did you
- 14:48Speaker 1: hear it? How they're trying to twist it though she's
- 14:52Speaker 1: gonna be leaving. Sarah's Huckabee is gonna leave and gonna
- 14:57Speaker 1: run for governor of a great state of Arts. And
- 15:00Speaker 1: don't nobody like her? Don't nobody like her? Yeah? She
- 15:06Speaker 1: she hasn't ruled out a different kind of political career. Now,
- 15:10Speaker 1: she hasn't ruled. Don't nobody like her? Yeah, well she's
- 15:14Speaker 1: not fit to be no governor. Trump likes her, Steve,
- 15:17Speaker 1: he likes Trump. Don't like her? Why she leave it?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Why is she leaving the job exhaust Well, yeah, she
- 15:23Speaker 1: said she wanted to spend more time with her family
- 15:26Speaker 1: and her kids. Don't ain't tell what everybody say when
- 15:28Speaker 1: they get filed. Well that's probably true though, I mean
- 15:31Speaker 1: especially you know she has a young kid, she's kids. Yeah,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you didn't want to spend time with your family when
- 15:36Speaker 1: you had the job, she could Now as soon as
- 15:41Speaker 1: you lose the job, now, you want to spend time
- 15:43Speaker 1: with your family. Well, Steve, she said, the job has
- 15:46Speaker 1: been an honor, the honor of a lifetime to serve
- 15:49Speaker 1: in the Trump administration. Why she quitning? If it's an
- 15:54Speaker 1: honor to serve under Trump, why is she quitning? I
- 15:58Speaker 1: told you this woman looked like she gonna break any dating. Now.
- 16:04Speaker 1: She always looked like if I come up here. A
- 16:06Speaker 1: matter of fact, they stopped having press conferences. She just said, look,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I'm not going out there. Yeah, I'm not technicals. I
- 16:15Speaker 1: ain't going out there. She's a White House Press secretary,
- 16:18Speaker 1: but she hadn't been holding press briefings because she couldn't
- 16:22Speaker 1: do it no more. Well, I mean he's not a
- 16:24Speaker 1: fan of it either. He doesn't even like the press.
- 16:27Speaker 1: He just likes to tweet, you know, with No. He
- 16:29Speaker 1: doesn't like the clapback or the follow up questions and
- 16:33Speaker 1: all of that. He doesn't like any of that. So
- 16:36Speaker 1: the press, ye, the truth, Yeah, he didn't. He didn't like.
- 16:39Speaker 1: He doesn't like that she had a la That's why, right,
- 16:44Speaker 1: white hold press conferences if you don't like the press. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:48Speaker 1: he's saying the president. Yeah, I told you she wasn't
- 16:51Speaker 1: gonna make it. Yeah, you said that, You definitely said it.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And if if they don't get to these polls, this
- 16:58Speaker 1: country cannot take another four years of this type of
- 17:02Speaker 1: behavior from the president. The Republicans know that, they know that,
- 17:07Speaker 1: but they are willing to sacrifice to get formal years
- 17:10Speaker 1: of formal years of position power and money. And in
- 17:15Speaker 1: this country, nothing and I mean nothing, when it comes
- 17:19Speaker 1: to politics, reigns more supreme than position, power and money, period.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Not in this America. Man, We got to quit thanking.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It's another kind of way because it's not well, yeah,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and you're right, Steve. When she was asked by reporters
- 17:36Speaker 1: later whether she plans to run for governor in her
- 17:39Speaker 1: native state of Arkansas, she did not rule that out.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Ain't nobody voting for her government? We're gonna stop saying
- 17:45Speaker 1: this on this radio show. Nobody is voted for Sarah
- 17:49Speaker 1: Huckabee for the governor, A no damn statement. As a
- 17:53Speaker 1: Republican or independent, a welfare recipient, the Guvato, nobody's voting
- 18:01Speaker 1: for her. Don't nobody like her? Well? Also in trending
- 18:07Speaker 1: political news, Steve, a federal watchdog agency called the Hatch Act,
- 18:11Speaker 1: is calling for Kelly Ann Conway to be fired. She
- 18:15Speaker 1: violated the Hatch Act where she speaks and attacks Democratic
- 18:19Speaker 1: presidential candidates while speaking in her official capacity as White
- 18:23Speaker 1: House counselor. So they're trying to get her on that,
- 18:26Speaker 1: she said at when she was speaking to reporters. Bring
- 18:29Speaker 1: it on, yeah, every day on He's defiant. Man, This
- 18:39Speaker 1: isn't Hope Hicks supposed to testify? Yes, yes, and she
- 18:44Speaker 1: has agreed to do it. Yeah in private and all that. Yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 1: that's interesting. All of this is gonna be interesting because
- 18:52Speaker 1: time make people turn chain. Yeah. Yeah, with you, Well,
- 18:58Speaker 1: if you told me I was gonna go to jail.
- 19:01Speaker 1: My next statement is, listen, what do you need to know? Yeah,
- 19:05Speaker 1: but they're allowing her to do it in private though, right, Well,
- 19:09Speaker 1: you know this way, I'm getting something. I'm not snitching
- 19:13Speaker 1: because I'm not a snitch, but I am telling on
- 19:16Speaker 1: your ass that's going to happen the same thing. No,
- 19:22Speaker 1: snitching is for people who are in crime. I'm not
- 19:25Speaker 1: in crime. I'm telling on your ass that I didn't
- 19:30Speaker 1: do nothing. Wait, what do you think I'm going to
- 19:32Speaker 1: go to jail? I'm telling on you? Okay, So what
- 19:35Speaker 1: is the difference between snitching and talent? Is for criminals,
- 19:39Speaker 1: And we've we've allowed see snitching started in prison and
- 19:43Speaker 1: with criminals, if you can't do the crime, don't do
- 19:45Speaker 1: the time. So we created the snitch. If you get busted,
- 19:49Speaker 1: you ride it out, you go all the way out. Well,
- 19:51Speaker 1: when these inmates go to prison and they come out,
- 19:54Speaker 1: they bring that philosophy out to the street and it's
- 19:57Speaker 1: premeated out of neighborhoods and got us thinking that you're
- 20:00Speaker 1: not supposed to snitch because snitches, you know all that
- 20:03Speaker 1: get stitches all this here. But that's for criminals. If
- 20:06Speaker 1: I'm a law abiding, taxpaying citizen, and you got a
- 20:09Speaker 1: trap house up street from my house. I'm not snitching.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I'm telling your ass can't have trap house up street
- 20:16Speaker 1: from where my mama stayed. So I'm telling that ain't snitching.
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'm telling. That's all y'all old as telling or support
- 20:26Speaker 1: what I just said. I'm just hearing you out here.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I asked you, I don't. I don't you see that

- 20:48Speaker 1: right now? All right? Poster comment at Steve Harvey f
- 20:51Speaker 1: M coming up next. Run that Frank back Nephews out today.
- 20:55Speaker 1: But guess who's here, Junior. Right after this, you're listening
- 21:00Speaker 1: Dave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 21:04Speaker 1: the hour. Entertainment news Now, according to Forbes magazine, Kanye
- 21:08Speaker 1: West makes more money than Drake and in reality entertainment news,
- 21:12Speaker 1: uh Carla has an update on ex Real Housewife of
- 21:16Speaker 1: Atlanta star phaedr Park's ex husband Apollo his prison status
- 21:20Speaker 1: right now, but first, Junior is here for the nephew.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Would run that prank back? Which you got Junior? The
- 21:27Speaker 1: preacher's wife. That's what we got. The preacher's wife run again. Hello. Hello,
- 21:32Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a sister Angela. Sister Angela, please,
- 21:37Speaker 1: how you doing. My name is Brother Clayton. I'm calling
- 21:40Speaker 1: you from a greatest Baptist church. How are you doing
- 21:42Speaker 1: this morning? Oh? I'm fine, I'm fine. Yeah, listen, I
- 21:47Speaker 1: know that your husband, Reverend Jonathan, is actually one of
- 21:52Speaker 1: the candidates that we may be choosing to be our
- 21:55Speaker 1: pastor since our past pastor has stepped down. Yes, yes, yes,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I'm very proud of my husband. I think you'll make
- 22:03Speaker 1: a very good candidate. As a matter of fact, here
- 22:05Speaker 1: at the church, we've been asking a lot of the
- 22:07Speaker 1: deacons and assistant ministers here have been asking different questions,
- 22:14Speaker 1: different things that they would be doing once they became pastor,
- 22:17Speaker 1: you know, like your first one hundred days. What would
- 22:19Speaker 1: you try and change here at the church or try
- 22:22Speaker 1: and make better? So to speak? Yet, but what my husband,
- 22:25Speaker 1: he's out here right now that you need to speak
- 22:26Speaker 1: to her. No, not right now. What we've decided to do? Uh,
- 22:30Speaker 1: Sis Angela is actually called the wives and ask them
- 22:35Speaker 1: a few questions. Oh, okay, that's a little different. Sure,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and we don't we don't want to take up too
- 22:40Speaker 1: much of your time. You know a lot of times,
- 22:43Speaker 1: if a pastor is stressed at home, nine times out
- 22:47Speaker 1: of ten, he's likely to be stressed at the church.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So I guess, my, my, My biggest question to you
- 22:54Speaker 1: is is your husband stressed at home? I know not
- 23:01Speaker 1: that I know of. He eats regularly, he's on a
- 23:04Speaker 1: good diet. You know, he gets goes to the doctor regularly.
- 23:08Speaker 1: He gets his physical um pretty good at home. I
- 23:11Speaker 1: don't have a reason to believe that he's stressed. He
- 23:14Speaker 1: certainly hasn't brought anything to my attention. Okay, No, no,
- 23:17Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't, I don't, I don't.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I don't think you follow me, sus Andrew. What I'm
- 23:22Speaker 1: saying is he's stressed behind closed doors? Is he stressed
- 23:28Speaker 1: in that fashion? Um? I'm not. I'm not too sure.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I follow you. You said behind closed doors? What exactly
- 23:36Speaker 1: did you mean by that? Is he? Is he stressed
- 23:42Speaker 1: in y'all's relations? Is he stressed? Are you asking me
- 23:46Speaker 1: about my personal business? Brother. Well, what I'm saying is
- 23:49Speaker 1: if he's stressed at home, he'll be stressed at the church.
- 23:52Speaker 1: And if he's stressed at the church, then the members
- 23:55Speaker 1: are stressed. Then the congregation is stressed. So the stress
- 23:59Speaker 1: thought with you. Excuse me, if you are making sure
- 24:03Speaker 1: that he's all right at home, he's gonna be all
- 24:06Speaker 1: right at the chair. I'm sorry, brother, what was your name?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Brother Clayton? Brother Clayton. I appreciate you m conducting whatever
- 24:15Speaker 1: interviews you guys need to conduct with the candidates. Wise,
- 24:18Speaker 1: I do think that's pretty much personal territory and I
- 24:21Speaker 1: really don't want to answer those kind of questions. It's
- 24:24Speaker 1: not personal since the Angela when so many other people involved. See,
- 24:28Speaker 1: that's why I'm asking you the question, is your man
- 24:31Speaker 1: stressed behind Clayton? I could assure you, yes, that my
- 24:35Speaker 1: husband is not stressed at home. If I get your drift,
- 24:39Speaker 1: he is not stressed behind closed doors. Brother, And I
- 24:42Speaker 1: would appreciate you if you don't call with these kind
- 24:45Speaker 1: of questions. Are you asking other candidates? Why these kind
- 24:48Speaker 1: of questions? Well, I was the one dedicated to call
- 24:52Speaker 1: to give you a call, and that's the question that
- 24:54Speaker 1: I decided to come up with, because I want to
- 24:56Speaker 1: know if a man is gonna be stressed, because if
- 24:58Speaker 1: he's gonna have tension at at the church, then then
- 25:01Speaker 1: the congregation is going to have tension. The church is
- 25:03Speaker 1: gonna have tension, and the church cannot move forward in
- 25:06Speaker 1: the direction on with Clayton, my husband and I have
- 25:08Speaker 1: been married twenty five years and they've been twenty five
- 25:12Speaker 1: good years. If you get my drift, Okay, he is
- 25:15Speaker 1: not stressed at home, and whatever goes on at home,
- 25:18Speaker 1: my husband has sense enough not to take it to
- 25:20Speaker 1: the church. That is not something he's gonna do. So
- 25:22Speaker 1: you don't see that about anybody else being stressed at
- 25:25Speaker 1: the congregation in the pulpit nowhere. Okay, we have together
- 25:29Speaker 1: at home, and I appreciate it if you don't ask
- 25:31Speaker 1: me those kind of questions, but sometimes ask me, well,
- 25:34Speaker 1: sometimes a woman does not realize that a husband is stressed.
- 25:39Speaker 1: You understand that there's a possible way that you don't
- 25:41Speaker 1: know that he's stressed. So how can you get Let
- 25:45Speaker 1: me get your phone. A matter of fact, let me
- 25:46Speaker 1: get your full name. What's your first name. Let's just
- 25:48Speaker 1: go with brother Clayton right now, Could you please answer
- 25:51Speaker 1: this question. How can you guarantee that he is fully
- 25:54Speaker 1: not stressed? Brother Clayton calling the Lord le code on
- 26:00Speaker 1: Brother Clayton. I'm an honorable woman. I'm a woman who
- 26:04Speaker 1: stands by my man. Okay, but you are asking me
- 26:08Speaker 1: some questions that very personal, very private, very confidential. You
- 26:13Speaker 1: are asking me questions that that a question is the
- 26:16Speaker 1: safety of my marriage. Okay, my husband is not stressed
- 26:21Speaker 1: and if I don't send him away from my home stressed, Okay,
- 26:28Speaker 1: how do you know? But what are you doing to
- 26:31Speaker 1: make sure that this is less stress? Clayton, I'm about
- 26:34Speaker 1: to end this phone call. Okay, now, if you know,
- 26:37Speaker 1: we're not gonna end this phone call until that we
- 26:39Speaker 1: know we I need to know that Reverend Jonathan is
- 26:43Speaker 1: not stressed at home. They put they assigned me to
- 26:46Speaker 1: talk to you, and that's what I'm going to do,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and I'm gonna leave. He is not stressed. I don't
- 26:50Speaker 1: know who told you that the man is not stressed.
- 26:52Speaker 1: He act to stressed around you. I bet you. I
- 26:56Speaker 1: bet you his stress because you're stressed. Ain't me right now? Now,
- 26:59Speaker 1: we're both stressed. How can we understand that that man
- 27:01Speaker 1: is not stressed? That's the end of this conversation. Do
- 27:04Speaker 1: you understand me? Give me your full name right now,
- 27:07Speaker 1: give me some intimate details, and then I'll give you
- 27:09Speaker 1: my num. Cross the line. You don't wait till my
- 27:12Speaker 1: husband gets here. If this is gonna cost him, mccannidy,
- 27:15Speaker 1: does this, so be it. We'll find another church. I'd
- 27:17Speaker 1: have some choice words for you right now, Brother Clayton.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I will give you my name right now. Do you
- 27:23Speaker 1: have a pen? Yes, I'm gonna write it right now.
- 27:26Speaker 1: The letter N N is in nancy E P. I
- 27:31Speaker 1: know how to spell n E P h E wind
- 27:36Speaker 1: of name? Is that nephew? Your name is nephew Clayton.
- 27:40Speaker 1: My name ain't nephew Clayton. My name is nephew Tommy.
- 27:43Speaker 1: From the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 27:46Speaker 1: by your husband, Reverend Jonathan Toto. You said, this is
- 27:54Speaker 1: nephew Tommy. This is Oh my God. From the Steve
- 28:00Speaker 1: Harvey Mornings. Your your husband got me to prank phone
- 28:04Speaker 1: Call you, Lord. I'm gonna kill it. Call Lord. I
- 28:08Speaker 1: don't need that. Oh didn't trust me set me this morning.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I can't believe I let him get me, you know,
- 28:18Speaker 1: thanks before, Oh my God, Tommy, I will tell you
- 28:23Speaker 1: if this was twenty five years ago, Brother, I cussed
- 28:27Speaker 1: up a storm. I'm so glad I'm a safe woman. Well, listen, listen.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Can I ask you one more thing? Yes? What is
- 28:36Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land? The Steve Harvey
- 28:41Speaker 1: Morning Show? That he is, sir, preach his wife when
- 28:47Speaker 1: nephew left us with right there, all right, okay, you
- 28:51Speaker 1: did that, Jack, he did that? All right? Thanks Junior.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Entertainment News
- 29:01Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to this Dave Harvey Morning
- 29:05Speaker 1: Show and Today's Entertainment News. It is no surprise that
- 29:10Speaker 1: hip hop's first billionaire, jay Z, is topping the Forbes
- 29:15Speaker 1: list of richest rappers. Doctor Dre is number two, with
- 29:18Speaker 1: eight hundred million in net worth, most of which is
- 29:20Speaker 1: from when Apple bought his beats by Dre back in
- 29:24Speaker 1: twenty fourteen. You remember that. Now Diddy comes in third
- 29:28Speaker 1: with seven hundred and forty million dollars, okay, and then oh, yeah,
- 29:34Speaker 1: I guess there's number four. This was such a shock
- 29:36Speaker 1: to me. Kanye West. Yeah, why y'all surprised at Kanye
- 29:41Speaker 1: because Adidas probably Yeah, that's exactly what it is. He's
- 29:45Speaker 1: at two hundred and forty million, largely thanks to his
- 29:48Speaker 1: Adidas partnership. I didn't think he made more money than Drake.
- 29:52Speaker 1: That's why I'm so surprised. Drake round surprised that Kanye
- 29:55Speaker 1: makes more money than Drake. Yeah I am wow? Yeah, yeah,
- 29:59Speaker 1: yeah wow. Drake rounds out the top five with one
- 30:02Speaker 1: hundred and fifty million dollars from music, liquor endorsements, and
- 30:06Speaker 1: a Las Vegas residency. So there you go, Steven. People
- 30:12Speaker 1: standing in line for datas for Kanye sneaker the other day. Yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 1: but can I say something about this? Of course? Yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 1: you're most qualified. People are saying that, you know, Kanye
- 30:27Speaker 1: makes more money than Drake and Kanye at two forty
- 30:29Speaker 1: at Drake at one fifty. Let me ask this question,
- 30:35Speaker 1: wouldn't you be just fine with any one of them? Yes?
- 30:40Speaker 1: I could be. Yeah, I could be number number ten.
- 30:45Speaker 1: If you got the one fifty a million that Drake
- 30:47Speaker 1: was getting, couldn't you squeak back good, comfortable, lovely? Yep?
- 30:55Speaker 1: Yeah great, no one's complaining. Can you buy the same
- 30:59Speaker 1: thing with both money? Yeah? Can you spend that amount
- 31:04Speaker 1: of money? Here's a question, and know yeah, you can
- 31:06Speaker 1: spend that kind of money one hundred and fifty million
- 31:08Speaker 1: a year, you can go broke. Really, yeah, what what
- 31:12Speaker 1: would you be buying? What would you be doing to
- 31:14Speaker 1: go broke? If you buy a brand new six fifty,
- 31:17Speaker 1: that's seventy million right there, that's an airplane, Yeah, new
- 31:22Speaker 1: six see yeah, that's seventy million. That's you cracked half Yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 1: that's half. Yeah, thats crib in Beverly Hills or Miami

- 31:44Speaker 1: you got what's that? You got forty million left? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 31:50Speaker 1: don't don't hide nobody. So a plane at a house,
- 31:54Speaker 1: that's it's well, I mean technic. I said, if you
- 31:58Speaker 1: bought a brand new six fifty, I ain't even talk
- 32:00Speaker 1: about to tach it. If you pay your taxes, you
- 32:02Speaker 1: officially broke at this boy. Okay, can I make a
- 32:06Speaker 1: statement that don't have nothing to do with nothing? Yeah?
- 32:11Speaker 1: At the barbecue last night, Boomerang had on a hoo
- 32:14Speaker 1: hoodie and looked like Benjamin Butts. He looked, Oh he's
- 32:18Speaker 1: agent Benjamin Buttons. You're right about one thing, and that
- 32:26Speaker 1: it looked like that hat on a bonnet that didn't
- 32:30Speaker 1: have anything to do with anything. Yeah, I just wanted
- 32:33Speaker 1: to say that. I'm sorry, man. It was just last
- 32:39Speaker 1: night at the barbecue. Picture of him popped up in
- 32:41Speaker 1: my head and I just man, man, just like jam.

- 34:39Speaker 1: I mean, you know they were gentlemen about it. They
- 34:43Speaker 1: gave well, you know, those are class dudes, Old State,

- 34:50Speaker 1: And now the speculation goals is where he'll be next season.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I don't know where Kawhi Leonard could go and be

- 35:02Speaker 1: in the country of Canada, because you have to go
- 35:04Speaker 1: to a city to be a star. Down here, he
- 35:09Speaker 1: is the star of the country. Yeah. First of all,
- 35:15Speaker 1: I own every car dealership up there. I own all
- 35:19Speaker 1: the Bob Sled making companies. I own all the horses
- 35:25Speaker 1: that the mountains ride. I'll be just up there with
- 35:28Speaker 1: my name on ski resorts, in everything. Because he didn't
- 35:31Speaker 1: want the country a title. Okay, number one fan and
- 35:39Speaker 1: all those fans at the Jurassic Park in uh Toronto.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Did you see them last night? They still party, still party. Yeah.

- 35:53Speaker 1: very friendly, nice people. Yeah. Yeah, So congratulations, I got
- 35:59Speaker 1: stopped at cause in Canada for six hours. I'm still
- 36:04Speaker 1: you still upset up. Yeah, I'm still very very bitter
- 36:07Speaker 1: coming from the Arco Arena in Buffalo. I'm still here.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Was that Steve, I don't know. We was Kings of
- 36:13Speaker 1: Comedy and that's all I know. So it was in
- 36:16Speaker 1: the two thousand, twenty years minimum after the naw Yeah
- 36:25Speaker 1: all right, Well coming up, we're gonna talk a little
- 36:27Speaker 1: bit about Steve's mentoring camp. Yeah yeah, thirty four after
- 36:31Speaker 1: the hour, right after this you're listening to show? All right, Steve,
- 36:37Speaker 1: how are you feeling you're down at mentoring camp? Yesterday
- 36:40Speaker 1: was the first day that the boys got in him.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Tell you so, I love these boys. This is actually
- 36:46Speaker 1: a good group, man. I got a kid here that
- 36:48Speaker 1: I met just last week at family feud. He was fifteen.
- 36:52Speaker 1: He bought this picture me to sign and they told
- 36:55Speaker 1: him I couldn't sign it. So he looked disappointed. I said, oh, man,
- 36:58Speaker 1: I signed it for him. I signed it. Come to
- 37:01Speaker 1: find out, he played basketball at this prep academy in
- 37:04Speaker 1: Los Angeles. It's a junior high. But it costs sixty
- 37:09Speaker 1: seven thousand dollars a year to go to this school.
- 37:12Speaker 1: I said what they said, yes for really really gifted children.
- 37:17Speaker 1: And he's a gifted child and he plays basketball. So
- 37:19Speaker 1: I said what position you play? He said center? And
- 37:22Speaker 1: I'm looking at him going center at what school? Is
- 37:25Speaker 1: this boys center? Because he ain't that tall, right, okay?
- 37:28Speaker 1: And so I said, oh you must go You go
- 37:30Speaker 1: school in suburbs. He said, yes, sir. I said, you
- 37:33Speaker 1: didn't go to unhome Christia and just played with him
- 37:36Speaker 1: boys in the hood one day and you won't be
- 37:38Speaker 1: He started laughing. I said, man, I said, so where's
- 37:42Speaker 1: your mom? She's at work. I said where's your dad?
- 37:44Speaker 1: He said, who's that? And then he just broke down.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Crush and man, that broke my hearty. I brought him
- 37:53Speaker 1: up on stage. We hugged. The little boy was just boohooing.
- 37:56Speaker 1: He said, my father don't even talk to me so
- 38:00Speaker 1: telling us about that. So I put him in the camp.
- 38:03Speaker 1: He came today. He was at the camp crying again,
- 38:06Speaker 1: thank you for this opportunity. But boy, this little boy,
- 38:10Speaker 1: this little boy got off the bus from Atlanta, from
- 38:14Speaker 1: the West End. He got off the bus. I said, hey,
- 38:18Speaker 1: little man, how you doing. He said, I'm not doing
- 38:22Speaker 1: a mother blanking thing. No wait, wait, that was his
- 38:26Speaker 1: opening statement. Didn't say hi, he didn't this. The National
- 38:34Speaker 1: Guard was talking to him. He said. As soon as
- 38:39Speaker 1: his foot hit the grass, off the bus, he said,
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm not doing a mother blanking thing. And they looked
- 38:47Speaker 1: around at anybody. Boy, how famous you was? I busted
- 38:52Speaker 1: out laughing. I went over and put my mom running
- 38:55Speaker 1: a little dude. I said, man, you're gonna be my
- 38:57Speaker 1: favorite boy at the can. I have adopted you. I'm
- 39:02Speaker 1: your mental NA get my phone number. But like your guts?
- 39:06Speaker 1: What did he say? I mean when he did that,
- 39:08Speaker 1: what did he say? You showed him some attention. He
- 39:11Speaker 1: put his head down, he wasn't talking. I was walking
- 39:13Speaker 1: with my arm around and I kept tapping him in
- 39:15Speaker 1: his chest. I said, man, you're gonna be all right now.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I know you don't want to be hill Man, but
- 39:18Speaker 1: I said, we got a good program for you. Gonna

- 39:26Speaker 1: You but everybody else. I mean old thing. I'm not
- 39:33Speaker 1: doing a mother blake thing. But how old does this kid?
- 39:38Speaker 1: Probably sixteen? Different? You know, nice little cut up lou.
- 39:44Speaker 1: You can tell you a little athletic just small frame
- 39:47Speaker 1: and I call it. I call nicknamed it d and
- 39:52Speaker 1: under his whole name, and I ain't gonna say it
- 39:54Speaker 1: on radio. Long kind of Spanish name. But he told
- 40:00Speaker 1: y'all what he ain't doing. No as soon as he
- 40:03Speaker 1: soon as his foot hit the graund I love it,
- 40:07Speaker 1: he said, I'm not doing a mother and boy. Then
- 40:11Speaker 1: he made eye contact with everybody looked. I walked over
- 40:15Speaker 1: to him. I was laughing so hard. He said, listen, Hardy,
- 40:18Speaker 1: we apologize about this young man. We're gonna work with him.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I said, no, say, my man, you're my favorite cat.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Now what about that? Drew you to him? Though? Because
- 40:29Speaker 1: because I know he in pain, yea, I know he
- 40:34Speaker 1: in pain, and he never had no man tell him
- 40:37Speaker 1: he loved man ain't because his father ain't in his life.
- 40:40Speaker 1: And now y'all and bought me down here to make
- 40:42Speaker 1: me do something else I don't want to do. Yeah, man,
- 40:44Speaker 1: but you're gonna love it. Man. Yeah, you're doing God's works. Yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 1: I'm hey, I'm not doing a mother. Then he just
- 40:58Speaker 1: started looking round, but he didn't say blanking. He just
- 41:01Speaker 1: said the whole thing. That was the funniest thing because
- 41:06Speaker 1: Jim Sergey, them army boys they don't kill. Yeah, they
- 41:09Speaker 1: don't want to kid. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's cool.
- 41:12Speaker 1: That's cool. Wow yeah wow. Steve. Well, all right, I'm
- 41:16Speaker 1: glad you're you know, it's turning out like it is, Steve.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy is out today, but Junior is here in
- 41:22Speaker 1: his place with the prank phone call that's coming up
- 41:24Speaker 1: right after this. I'm not doing it. You're listening to
- 41:30Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 41:36Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 41:39Speaker 1: letter for today, the subject our modern day full house
- 41:43Speaker 1: isn't working okay, But right now Junior is in for
- 41:48Speaker 1: the nephew with the prank phone call for today. What
- 41:50Speaker 1: you got, Junior, Well, he left us with no how
- 41:53Speaker 1: we okay, now we yeah, we're yeah, you're right now
- 42:06Speaker 1: we run akain. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Resa.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Please Resa, hi Resa. My name is Byron, Byron from
- 42:15Speaker 1: the job. How are you? I'm okay, how are you buying?
- 42:18Speaker 1: I'm good. Listen. I hate to call you after hours
- 42:20Speaker 1: at your home, but there has been some new issues
- 42:24Speaker 1: that will be going into effect. That was just tomorrow morning,
- 42:27Speaker 1: and we're calling everyone letting them know the new changes
- 42:30Speaker 1: that have been issued that will take effect first thing
- 42:33Speaker 1: tomorrow morning. So we're giving everyone a call. So don't
- 42:36Speaker 1: be alarmed. It's just give me a call letting you
- 42:39Speaker 1: know what the what the higher ups have changed. Okay, okay,
- 42:42Speaker 1: there's no problem to listen, Okay, as up tomorrow, what's
- 42:46Speaker 1: gonna happen is when you guys come in, you'll be
- 42:48Speaker 1: issued a new key card, and that particular card will
- 42:51Speaker 1: actually registers when you come in and go out. Okay, okay,
- 42:55Speaker 1: all right. Second one is there will no longer be
- 42:57Speaker 1: any personal internet at job any longer. You won't be
- 43:01Speaker 1: able They're actually putting a block on all computers. All
- 43:04Speaker 1: the computers will no longer be able to go to
- 43:07Speaker 1: a lot of these sites that you guys go to
- 43:09Speaker 1: that you've been that's been available here in the past. Okay, okay,
- 43:15Speaker 1: all right. The last one is reesa do you do
- 43:18Speaker 1: you wear a hair weave? What do you wear a
- 43:21Speaker 1: hair weave or a wig? Yes? Okay, Well here's one
- 43:26Speaker 1: thing and hopefully you can get this change about tomorrow.
- 43:28Speaker 1: There's no weaves or hair or wigs gonna be allowed
- 43:34Speaker 1: at the job site from this point on. So as
- 43:36Speaker 1: of tomorrow morning, everyone must be wearing their natural hair.
- 43:40Speaker 1: You're joking, h No, these are the issues that are
- 43:43Speaker 1: going to be that are instated, and these are going
- 43:46Speaker 1: to take effect as of tomorrow morning, seven o'clock. What
- 43:49Speaker 1: does hair weave to have to do with any of
- 43:51Speaker 1: these changes? The first two I can understand punching in
- 43:54Speaker 1: and being on the internet. Yes, that's something that the
- 43:57Speaker 1: corporate But hair weaves and weeks you're getting into ups
- 44:03Speaker 1: are they're looking down upon it. Wigs and hair weaves
- 44:07Speaker 1: they have to go. So I'm assuming that if you
- 44:11Speaker 1: like you saying you do have one, suggest it doesn't
- 44:14Speaker 1: come out. Taking it down now and prepare your hair
- 44:18Speaker 1: to be natural as you come in to work tomorrow.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I'm not taking my hair down. I've been here seven
- 44:22Speaker 1: years and I've dealt with all the changes that y'all
- 44:24Speaker 1: have made. But there's no way that I'm taking my
- 44:27Speaker 1: hair weave down. I'm sorry. I wish your name Byron? Yes,
- 44:30Speaker 1: my name is Byron, and I'm sorry. Let's get back
- 44:35Speaker 1: to your weave. This has you're gonna have to do something.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Is there's someone that you can call tonight to help
- 44:40Speaker 1: you get your hair down and so you can look
- 44:42Speaker 1: presentable with your natural hair tomorrow. No, my weave calls
- 44:45Speaker 1: over two three hundred dollars and I'm not about to
- 44:48Speaker 1: take that down. I mean, it takes a long time
- 44:51Speaker 1: to take that down. Okay, I mean, is this something?
- 44:55Speaker 1: Maybe you can take it down and just wear it
- 44:57Speaker 1: on the weekends because as of now, you're not gonna
- 44:59Speaker 1: be allowed how to actually wear it on the property.
- 45:02Speaker 1: And how will you know if someone has a weave
- 45:04Speaker 1: or not? Are you gonna do head checks or something? Okay, ma'am,
- 45:08Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure what they're gonna do to check it.
- 45:11Speaker 1: But by you telling me that you you have a weave,
- 45:15Speaker 1: then I have to write it down that you have
- 45:17Speaker 1: confirmed that you do, and we got to make sure
- 45:20Speaker 1: that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one. But you don't
- 45:22Speaker 1: know what my natural hair looks like from my weave.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Are you heard how much I pay for it? So
- 45:28Speaker 1: it's a good weave, ma'am. It's not about how good
- 45:31Speaker 1: you know with the quality of your weaver or anything.
- 45:34Speaker 1: They don't want it. They want natural hair. I don't
- 45:36Speaker 1: know what that means. But they're going natural. They're going green,
- 45:39Speaker 1: they're going natural. I don't know what it is. They're
- 45:41Speaker 1: going natural, and so will you. Tomorrow morning. You need
- 45:44Speaker 1: to come in with your hair completely down. Okay, I'm
- 45:48Speaker 1: gonna do it. I'm not taking my weave nown Okay,
- 45:51Speaker 1: what is that y'all gonna write me up or something? Okay, ma'am.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Do you not want your job? Yeah? I want my job,
- 45:56Speaker 1: But this don't make no sense. You're talking about personal appearance.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I can understand y'all have a dress coach and enforcing
- 46:02Speaker 1: a dress code. That's one thing. But telling somebody to
- 46:06Speaker 1: change that had you emotionr line. Man, you're crazy. Man,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I have other people that I have
- 46:12Speaker 1: to call. Bottom line is, get your hat out and
- 46:15Speaker 1: get your butt into work tomorrow and let's not go
- 46:17Speaker 1: back and forth anymore. Okay, well, listen, buy ranch. You're
- 46:21Speaker 1: a low mind. If you're thinking I'm taking my weave out,
- 46:25Speaker 1: I'm not taking out at all. Risa is coming up
- 46:28Speaker 1: in there with her hair and I'm gonna sit down
- 46:31Speaker 1: in my desk and do my job. Y'all gonna have
- 46:33Speaker 1: to drag me out that had some weave. You gonna
- 46:36Speaker 1: lost your mind, You and your powers that be or
- 46:38Speaker 1: whoever they may be. You tell them that I said that. Women, women, listen,
- 46:43Speaker 1: Are you telling me that you're coming in regardless with
- 46:46Speaker 1: your hair on? Right? That's what I just said? Okay,
- 46:51Speaker 1: are you then? Then we need to Why don't you
- 46:53Speaker 1: go ahead and bring some boxes in because you may
- 46:57Speaker 1: I'm not. You bring the man. I don't want to
- 47:00Speaker 1: have to pack. You get your stuff and box it up,
- 47:02Speaker 1: and you're losing your job because you can't take it.
- 47:04Speaker 1: You know what? You can do that because I'm a
- 47:06Speaker 1: call to the news station and tell them you're dragging
- 47:09Speaker 1: me out of go behind some weeds? Who wrong? You're wrong,
- 47:12Speaker 1: You're wrong, You're stupid behind? Are you gonna? You need
- 47:16Speaker 1: to watch your language? Young lady? Why I need to
- 47:18Speaker 1: watch my language. I'm at home. You call me on
- 47:20Speaker 1: my own home phone and my time. I'm at my house.
- 47:24Speaker 1: I'm not on your flock. I say what I want
- 47:26Speaker 1: to say on my phone. Okay? Can I say what
- 47:28Speaker 1: I want on my phone? And then I'll let you
- 47:30Speaker 1: go and you can come into to work anywhere you
- 47:32Speaker 1: want to tomorrow. What is it, Bob on? What else
- 47:35Speaker 1: you got to say? I want to tell you. I
- 47:37Speaker 1: want to tell you that your girlfriend Jennifer at your
- 47:40Speaker 1: job got me to plank phone call you. This is
- 47:43Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. He's just
- 47:50Speaker 1: say I know you, hey, reason this is this is
- 47:56Speaker 1: nephew Tommy baby from the Steve Harby More than your Jennifer,
- 48:00Speaker 1: your co worker, got me the prank phone got my
- 48:02Speaker 1: blood pressure up. I'm gonna kill it tomorrow and I'm
- 48:05Speaker 1: gonna pull a whole weave out. You want to come
- 48:08Speaker 1: down there and watch me drink out of the job
- 48:13Speaker 1: blood pressure. You can't be doing that to me behind
- 48:15Speaker 1: my weave. I pay too much money. I definitely to
- 48:17Speaker 1: be on my kids. Oh I ain't nothing like a
- 48:20Speaker 1: black woman and her hell oh man, Okay, baby, I
- 48:27Speaker 1: got one more thing to ask you, girl, what is
- 48:29Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 48:32Speaker 1: the lad well? After this prank, he has to be
- 48:37Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. God, you played too much joy,
- 48:45Speaker 1: that's what you don't have. You're you mean you're the
- 48:50Speaker 1: king of pranks, Babby, and what it is the greatest?
- 48:52Speaker 1: Come on now, there's nobody better than you. I don't
- 48:56Speaker 1: care if we have to mentor in camp. You better
- 48:57Speaker 1: get to him, Tommy. We all honor you. That's right.
- 49:01Speaker 1: You may be short in stature, but you're big when
- 49:04Speaker 1: it comes the greatest we've ever seen. You're tall when
- 49:07Speaker 1: it comes to the king. Pray. Yeah, well that's not
- 49:10Speaker 1: my great act. You know you don't come on a
- 49:12Speaker 1: well you're a little king though, see that you're not
- 49:16Speaker 1: a tall kid, right right, you're a little king by
- 49:19Speaker 1: the fact you could wear my Young King collection. You know,
- 49:23Speaker 1: you know what you're gonna mess around? Open up for me.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'm an open up for tom Let me tell you something.
- 49:30Speaker 1: You got decent career and everything, and what you're doing
- 49:33Speaker 1: in stand up is really making ways. But don't ever
- 49:36Speaker 1: threaten me to come back and be your opening act again, Hill,
- 49:40Speaker 1: because you would have nothing you can do. You must
- 49:42Speaker 1: have forgot who I am. Oh, hold on, I'm one
- 49:45Speaker 1: of the original kings of coming. I have sold more
- 49:48Speaker 1: tickets in a night. You know you ain't the only
- 49:52Speaker 1: one on TV. Oh oh, that's right. Ready, Ready to

- 50:07Speaker 1: I recognized that, But I need you to recognize who
- 50:09Speaker 1: you're talking to when you tell me that I'm open
- 50:11Speaker 1: for you. I want you to stop that type of
- 50:14Speaker 1: talk before you mess around and I come down there
- 50:16Speaker 1: open for you one time and you find out what
- 50:19Speaker 1: they really happen. Be careful what you wish for. Yeah,
- 50:22Speaker 1: because I'm gonna walk off with about eight inches a
- 50:24Speaker 1: hot ass tall on a stage. Then you walk your
- 50:26Speaker 1: little lass out there on it if you won't to,
- 50:28Speaker 1: but it's gonna be sticky, all right. Coming up at
- 50:31Speaker 1: the top of the hour. You got more jokes. Right

- 51:00Speaker 1: probably somewhere gonna be talking about this is the biggest
- 51:02Speaker 1: birthday ever. You know, it's it's huge, huge. Maybe for
- 51:09Speaker 1: a gift, he could just not lie to us on

- 51:32Speaker 1: what you do. We could be reading your letter live
- 51:33Speaker 1: on the air, just like we're gonna read this one
- 51:36Speaker 1: right here, right now. Yeah. Go all right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 51:40Speaker 1: it is time for the Strawberry Letter with my friend
- 51:43Speaker 1: Shirley straw May. Thank you, my friend Junior. All right,
- 51:46Speaker 1: subject our modern day full house isn't working. Here's Stephen Shirley.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I'm a forty eight year old female and I live
- 51:55Speaker 1: in my childhood home with my two older sisters, older brother,
- 51:59Speaker 1: my son, my son's girlfriend, and my daughter. My parents
- 52:03Speaker 1: moved to Texas and left us all in the house.
- 52:07Speaker 1: It's a six bedroom house with three bathrooms, so there's
- 52:10Speaker 1: plenty of space for everyone. The house is paid for
- 52:13Speaker 1: and we all split the bills. We have not had
- 52:16Speaker 1: any issues with our living arrangement until recently, when my
- 52:19Speaker 1: bitter older sister, who has no life, decided that it's
- 52:23Speaker 1: time for my daughter, my son, and my son's girlfriend
- 52:26Speaker 1: to move out. She has no valid reason for wanting
- 52:29Speaker 1: them to move out of the house or wanting them
- 52:31Speaker 1: out of the house. She's just jealous because her son
- 52:34Speaker 1: doesn't want to have anything to do with her. She
- 52:37Speaker 1: has my parents in the middle of it, and they
- 52:39Speaker 1: are sick of her complaining, so they said we can
- 52:42Speaker 1: all get out and they will sell the house. There's
- 52:45Speaker 1: so much tension in the house now, and my sisters
- 52:48Speaker 1: being petty by putting her name on food in the fridge.
- 52:51Speaker 1: She has also put a lock on the bathroom door
- 52:53Speaker 1: by her bedroom so it can be exclusively for her.
- 52:57Speaker 1: My brother said that my sister is being un reasonable,
- 53:00Speaker 1: but if it would keep the peace, then maybe the
- 53:03Speaker 1: children should move out. They're grown and very responsible. But
- 53:07Speaker 1: why should they have to move out? I don't want
- 53:09Speaker 1: to leave my childhood home, but if my children have
- 53:12Speaker 1: to go, then I will go too. We are one,
- 53:15Speaker 1: We were one big, happy family, and she just snapped
- 53:18Speaker 1: one day. What do you think we should do? I
- 53:20Speaker 1: hope we can settle this soon because I can't live
- 53:23Speaker 1: like this. Please advise. What do I think you guys
- 53:26Speaker 1: should do? I think you need to move out, all right,
- 53:29Speaker 1: because it's only your sister, it's only your brother. But
- 53:32Speaker 1: it's you, your daughter, your son, his girlfriend. That's a
- 53:36Speaker 1: lot of people. It's only three bathrooms. She didn't just snap.
- 53:40Speaker 1: She's been thinking about this for a very long time.
- 53:43Speaker 1: You never mentioned what kind of relationship you and your
- 53:46Speaker 1: older sister have. You just said that you haven't had
- 53:49Speaker 1: any issues yet, and you guys split the bills. Well
- 53:52Speaker 1: that's over now, because it sounds like big sisters just
- 53:55Speaker 1: fed up with all the people there and all of that.
- 53:58Speaker 1: She wants her own space, she wants her privacy. She's
- 54:01Speaker 1: sick of sharing the bathroom with whoever waiting on it.
- 54:06Speaker 1: She you know, it's her parents' house. I'm assuming that
- 54:10Speaker 1: she'll probably be okay with you staying there. But you
- 54:13Speaker 1: come with a lot. So yeah, I mean she's fed up.
- 54:16Speaker 1: She didn't snap, but she's just fed up. And you know,
- 54:19Speaker 1: she's ready. She's ready. She's probably gonna put a lock
- 54:22Speaker 1: on a lot more. She may even put a lock
- 54:23Speaker 1: on the refrigerator. She's already named putting name tags on stuff,
- 54:27Speaker 1: so that could be next. So I think you guys
- 54:30Speaker 1: need to, uh, you know, start looking for another place,
- 54:34Speaker 1: because you say, if your kids go, you're gonna go.
- 54:36Speaker 1: And she's she's sounds like it's not gonna have it
- 54:39Speaker 1: any other way. And the parents say they're gonna sell
- 54:41Speaker 1: if you all don't get it together. Steve, you know,
- 54:44Speaker 1: this is kind of trifling. You know, people get old
- 54:47Speaker 1: and bitter. The lady forty eight years old. She lives
- 54:51Speaker 1: in a childhood home with her two oldest sisters, her
- 54:54Speaker 1: older brother Hustle hrs son's girlfriend, and my daughter. Now
- 54:59Speaker 1: the pairs moved out because they saw this coming. This
- 55:03Speaker 1: is a disaster. Now, did ladies say it's a six
- 55:06Speaker 1: bedroom house with three bathroom, so it's plenty of space
- 55:09Speaker 1: for everyone. No, it's not. Because the people that you
- 55:13Speaker 1: think is plenty of room for everyone, they're not really connected.
- 55:17Speaker 1: See your two older sisters and older brothers, and you
- 55:21Speaker 1: is the only one that's really connected. That's their nephew
- 55:25Speaker 1: and niece, which is your son and your daughter. But
- 55:28Speaker 1: now a girlfriend is in there. Now they young, they
- 55:32Speaker 1: in that reminded them of things that they don't do. No,
- 55:36Speaker 1: they in the hard way. They walking past their bedroom. Dope,
- 55:41Speaker 1: this handprints all on the bathroom. They don't know where
- 55:48Speaker 1: they're coming in that fine stuff? What is this cream?
- 55:53Speaker 1: They're all in the room, Steve, what was they in
- 55:56Speaker 1: that doing? Which is icy hot? This is my icy hot?
- 56:01Speaker 1: What is the young answering that doing with all this
- 56:03Speaker 1: icy hot? Who? And what girl? When the girl, my
- 56:14Speaker 1: prune juice jaw was in there. So the real tension
- 56:23Speaker 1: has come from the fact that your son and his
- 56:27Speaker 1: girlfriend is in that clowning Want him out now? Your
- 56:33Speaker 1: big sister warned, that's bitter and stink. She'd just started
- 56:38Speaker 1: writing her name on her food. Yeah, now, let's briefly
- 56:44Speaker 1: discuss what writing your name on food can cause. Okay, well,
- 56:51Speaker 1: if I open the freezer looking for a snack and
- 56:55Speaker 1: you got palm wrote on the ice cream, and I
- 57:01Speaker 1: decide this means Pam balcus, me and aunt Pam being
- 57:05Speaker 1: cool and they eat palms ice cream. Fight not cool.
- 57:12Speaker 1: So I'm assuming that a fight them broke out. Somebody
- 57:17Speaker 1: drank the last of the kool aid and to fight
- 57:20Speaker 1: them broke out. Last time Pam was fine, it was
- 57:24Speaker 1: by centennial Richard Powe. All right, coming up Part two
- 57:29Speaker 1: of Steve's response at twenty three after the hour, today's
- 57:32Speaker 1: Strawberry letters, subject our modern day full house isn't working.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening, all right, Steve, Let's recap
- 57:42Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter and the subject today is our modern
- 57:46Speaker 1: day full house isn't working. The modern day full house
- 57:50Speaker 1: and stopped working. This forty eight year old woman stay
- 57:52Speaker 1: in the house with her two older sisters, her older brother,
- 57:56Speaker 1: her son, her daughter, and her son's girl friend. They
- 58:01Speaker 1: share a six badroom house with three bathrooms in it,
- 58:05Speaker 1: and she says that's plenty of room for everybody. The
- 58:08Speaker 1: parents gave him the house and moved out because the
- 58:10Speaker 1: parents knew it wasn't enough room for everybody, so they
- 58:13Speaker 1: moved to Texas to get away from y'all. Y'all parents
- 58:16Speaker 1: stopped liking y'all a long time ago and just moved
- 58:19Speaker 1: to Texas. Now, you're sitting up here now and you
- 58:24Speaker 1: got yourself in a situation where your oldest sister or bitter,
- 58:29Speaker 1: what's her name, Pam, bitter, Pam don't want your son
- 58:33Speaker 1: and daughter staying that now. I think it's because the
- 58:36Speaker 1: son and his girlfriend is millennials and they have activities
- 58:41Speaker 1: going on that danger every time they Pam going that bathroom,
- 58:45Speaker 1: she trying to figure out hotties Franker Prince got on
- 58:49Speaker 1: the mirror. Why is her finger Prince this high up
- 58:54Speaker 1: on the mirror. She ain't that talk. She in the
- 58:57Speaker 1: bath room trying to figure out how she stood up
- 59:00Speaker 1: on the counter and got her hands up against that
- 59:03Speaker 1: glass like that. And now she hadn't had her girlfriend
- 59:11Speaker 1: come over the work down there at the police station
- 59:14Speaker 1: and discovered that her her son's knee prints is on
- 59:19Speaker 1: the on the counter in the bad flu. Now she
- 59:23Speaker 1: had put their knee prints together butts upon mirror, and
- 59:27Speaker 1: she'd lost her dad. They forensics, her old ass friends
- 59:34Speaker 1: is in the forensic department down at the police station,
- 59:38Speaker 1: and she came there and told her then this man
- 59:40Speaker 1: knee print Now ham old asked and got in there
- 59:45Speaker 1: and acted it out with her girlfriend. And they still
- 59:48Speaker 1: can't figure out how that girl hands got that hip
- 59:50Speaker 1: on that damn mirror, and why this boy's knees on
- 59:54Speaker 1: this counter like that. And on top of all that,
- 59:57Speaker 1: the shower curtain has been U Yeah, hip Hop Atlanta
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: and Pam had just saw the Love and Hip Hop
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Atlanta reunion on TV and had had seen the shower
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: was seen with me, Me and Pam was gonna try,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: but she tried at one time, and that they had
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to replace the wall. She rocked. Sheath rock had come
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: down because Pam a little bit more than a millennium.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: So we had that situation. So here's what the deal is.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: At the end of the day. Sometimes the jump comes
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: in the form of a push, and if I were you,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: it's time to grow. But in order to grow, you
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: have to go. So I'm in agreement with Shirley that
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: y'all should move out the house. You your son and
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: daughter and his girlfriend. And if y'all splitting all this,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: y'all need to go start y'all's life anyway, because if
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you don't move out that house, you're gonna end up
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: just like your two older sisters, your older brother, all
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: of them stay there, ain't none of them married. They
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: your two older sisters and your older brother, and they
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: all stay in the same house that they grew up
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: as children. And if you don't move, that's gonna be you.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: In order to grow, you have to go. I would
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: get out and say good riddance and go on and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: start my life. And I wouldn't even allow my son
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: and my daughter to following this pattern or use this
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: as an acceptable behavior for adults. I would just stop
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: that right now. What about the son and the girlfriend
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: living together? Now, the son and a girlfriend, you can't
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: stop that. They do that now, sure, but I mean
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: in the same house with the mom. Ain't. Nobody got
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: no problem with the boyfriend and his girlfriend living there.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: But Pam and her friend. That's in the police department.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: See when they found them head fish up at the
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: top of the mirror. That's when all this trouble started.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: That's when Pam started marking her food because I don't
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: want you to nast the hands on opening because you
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: just nast in the bathroom to shower curtains bent. We
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: don't we don't know where the toilet paper roll that
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: ain't I'm telling what they've did with that. I found
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the toilet paper roll that had something on it. So
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I didn't know what was going on. And it's just
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: things like that. The tile rack is missing. Yeah, but
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I understand the tilereck. I told the tie wreck out
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: my mama's I told the tie wreck out my mama's
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: bad food. What do you mean? Yeah, I was constipated.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Oh god. Oh. I just reached grabbed the guest tiles
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: and got the twisting on them, trying to give myself
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: some release that I just wound them up too tight
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: and the whole damn tie rack came out the wall.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I really wasn't expecting that. Yeah, I just for y'all,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: just for y'all getting that wound up at your mama's house.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you. I'll tell you why. I also
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: consulated one time. I told J. Penny Catalog. Yeah, I
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: was in the underwear section. I'm looking at women, you know,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: because that's all the porno we had back then. You
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: just got to J. C. Penny Catalog and looked at
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the Penny Brawl section. Never I was in that consultated.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I ended up town Jenny Catalog in head. My daddy
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: came up and said, bought it down it boystro Oh
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: he was proud of you. I'm strong in heir home

- 1:13:43Speaker 1: games could go to state away Kawhi, Kyle Lowry, Yeah, Fred,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: that was a good game. It was a good game.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: It was tough. Man went down. That was the blow
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: that sealed the deal because there just wasn't enough firepower
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: after that. Yeah, it was just not enough five power.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: After that. You know, they gave it. They all they

- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Leonard could go and be a bigger star than he is,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: right down into the country of Canada, because you have
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: to go to a city to be a star. Down here,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: he is the star of the country. Yeah. First of all,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: I own every car dealership up there. I own all
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the bob sled making companies, I own all the horses
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: that the Mountains ride. I'll be just up in there

- 1:16:40Speaker 1: time for your closing remarks. Surely sent me something and
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: it got me to thinking, I'm gonna share with you
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: what she sent me. But I'm gonna paraphrase it, so
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: it's more of how I talk, because sometimes I get
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: a little stumbled up and it doesn't sound like me
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: if I try to share directly with somebody with somebody
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: sent me. So I just want to talk to you
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: about it. I want to just talk to you about
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: this life of abundance that we are all qualified for.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about the life of
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: abundance that God really wants all of us to enjoy.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: If you're a righteous person, God will give you a
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: life of abundance. I didn't say if you were a
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: saved person, if you are a member of this denomination,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: if you go to this church, if this is your
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: pastor if this is your faith. I'm telling you that
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: God has a life of abundance for you if you
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: put your trust and your faith in Him. I'm just
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: telling you, and you have to understand that God has
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: equipped you to have this life of abundance. All of
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you have a gift that was given to you by
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: God at birth. Everyone has one. Now you may not
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: know what it is, but you have it. But because
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: you've been so bent, so determined to do something to
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: please somebody else, your mother wants you to go to
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: school and get a degree in this. Well, I told
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: him I was gonna come down here and get a
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: degree in that. So now I'm gonna get a degree
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: in that where my father went to the army. So
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I'm going to the army. You know, there's nothing wrong
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: with the army. It's nothing wrong with going to the army.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: But if that ain't really what you were created for,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: you've fend to waste a lot of time. Man, you
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: really really are because God really did equipped you for
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: a life of abundance. When he created you. He had
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: a mission in mind for you, that a mission in
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: mind for me. He gave you a gift. Your gifts
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: is a thing that you do the absolute best with
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: the east amount of effort. If you identify that gift,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: that's your greatest chance. Now here's a deal. When He
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: prepared you for this life of abundance, and he gave
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: you everything you need it to put on every day
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: and go out and make your dreams and your life

- 1:19:25Speaker 1: your gift, you can be on your way to making
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: your life happening and your dreams come true. He gives
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: you everything you need to wear to go out and
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: fight it. But what we do is we suit up,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: we suit up, and we settling in. Well, I got

- 1:20:05Speaker 1: a while, we resign ourselves to living a mediocre life
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: because we won't suit up and go out here and
