- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a son giving them like a
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stuff, not me through good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve to the mother for stay, I don't join Jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn hur going to do? You? Are you
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out? Turn You got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby, uhh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey man old man,
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, I do. God so big
- 2:13Speaker 1: to me, man, I just have to tell you about it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can't help it. It's rather obvious to me how big,
- 2:21Speaker 1: how good God is. He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you know, man, I want to share something with you today.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You know, if you're out there, start your mission today.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Why don't we all decide together better yet? Let's just
- 2:41Speaker 1: kill that because you don't that just individually. Look you listening,
- 2:45Speaker 1: everybody's got something that's that's on the table that they
- 2:49Speaker 1: haven't yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start
- 2:53Speaker 1: your mission today? Stop the procrastination now and if you
- 2:58Speaker 1: and if you allow practical man, if you allow procrastination
- 3:01Speaker 1: to set in, then that that allows then which is
- 3:08Speaker 1: a weakness, you know, but that allows the devil then
- 3:10Speaker 1: to just really do his thing, because an idle mind
- 3:14Speaker 1: is the devil's playground. So if you ain't working on
- 3:16Speaker 1: your goal's dreams, aspirations or visions, and you you just
- 3:20Speaker 1: waking up seeing how today gonna go, or the devil
- 3:22Speaker 1: he got plenty for it for you to do. See.
- 3:26Speaker 1: But if you get your mind right on your goal
- 3:28Speaker 1: and your focus and your purpose, then you can go
- 3:30Speaker 1: on about your business. Then when the distraction comes, you
- 3:33Speaker 1: can catch yourself. Now that don't mean you ain't gonna
- 3:36Speaker 1: fall privy or fall prey to some of your distractions,
- 3:39Speaker 1: because you will, but you will have a goal in mind,
- 3:43Speaker 1: an aspiration that makes you go. Hold on, man, I
- 3:45Speaker 1: got to stay focused here because what I really want
- 3:48Speaker 1: while I'm really trying to go the thing that I'm
- 3:50Speaker 1: really after, this new little thing that's being introduced, this
- 3:55Speaker 1: don't fit into the equation. Man, Let me keep it moving,
- 3:59Speaker 1: or you may step off the line for a little while.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You know, like I said yesterday, your thing about God
- 4:04Speaker 1: is He's so forgiving that if you get out of line,
- 4:06Speaker 1: he'll hold your place. See that's the real cool thing.
- 4:09Speaker 1: A lot of people to do that for you too.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Like I said, if you're the movie theater, or you're
- 4:12Speaker 1: at the amusement park and you're in the line and
- 4:14Speaker 1: you forget something, if you politely ask the person behind you, hey, man,
- 4:18Speaker 1: I gotta run to my car left something, would you
- 4:20Speaker 1: hold my place? Most people say, fine, you gotta go ahead,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and when you come back, they don't have a problem.
- 4:25Speaker 1: See your problem is is you want to get out
- 4:27Speaker 1: the line, go do something, then come back and just
- 4:30Speaker 1: get up in the line further up than you were,
- 4:32Speaker 1: or cut somebody. Now you got a problem because see
- 4:35Speaker 1: everybody looking at you now, like Roy Wall partner, where
- 4:37Speaker 1: you come from. You know the line start back here.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But see the thing with God is God don't do that.
- 4:43Speaker 1: God don't say the line start back here. God holds
- 4:47Speaker 1: your place. When you make a mistake and you fall
- 4:49Speaker 1: off the line, God holds your place. But if you
- 4:52Speaker 1: ain't got no dreams, aspiration, if you ain't got no place,
- 4:56Speaker 1: what he holding for you? See I mean he got
- 4:59Speaker 1: a place for you, but you gotta come to it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: See some people if well, here's what I'm saying. If
- 5:05Speaker 1: you got a goal or aspiration to dream and you
- 5:08Speaker 1: fall off track momentarily, you can get back to that
- 5:13Speaker 1: because God knows where you're left off. Now, you may
- 5:17Speaker 1: have to accomplish a few more things since you stop
- 5:19Speaker 1: for a long period of time, but God know where
- 5:21Speaker 1: you left off, you can get back on track. I look, man,
- 5:25Speaker 1: this dream of being on TV since I was a kid,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and it got off track. Now it got off track.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I just kept it as one of the dreams. And
- 5:34Speaker 1: in some real dog moments when it looked like it
- 5:37Speaker 1: wasn't gonna happen, all I was hanging on to was
- 5:40Speaker 1: just a hope that one day it could. But that's
- 5:43Speaker 1: what faith is really about. Faith is the belief in
- 5:47Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. But faith gives you the
- 5:51Speaker 1: confidence to keep hoping. Man, sometime it just keep hope alive.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson said, just keep hope alive.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Sometimes times, man, it's just the hope. I was hanging
- 6:03Speaker 1: on the hope. And I'm talking about when it got
- 6:07Speaker 1: real ugly and funky out there for me, when it
- 6:09Speaker 1: looked like I wasn't gonna ever make it and all
- 6:13Speaker 1: of the facts was in and everything pointed in the direction.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You're not gonna make it. You didn't really messed up
- 6:19Speaker 1: this time. Then I sat there and I just hung
- 6:22Speaker 1: on to the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying.
- 6:26Speaker 1: If you got a dream on aspiration of vision or something,
- 6:30Speaker 1: when you fall off track and you want to go
- 6:33Speaker 1: get back in line, God holds your place. He knew
- 6:37Speaker 1: I was off tracking how the line, but he said, okay,
- 6:40Speaker 1: here's where we stopped. You want to be on TV
- 6:42Speaker 1: that when you get it together and you quit tripping
- 6:44Speaker 1: and you come in your turn to me, I'm gonna
- 6:46Speaker 1: hold your place, put your back in line. Then we're
- 6:48Speaker 1: gonna finish the journey. That took me a lot longer
- 6:50Speaker 1: to get here than I wanted to, But then it
- 6:53Speaker 1: was necessary because I needed all of the mishaps to
- 6:56Speaker 1: happen to me along the way. So when I got
- 6:58Speaker 1: on the radio one day, which I didn't I see coming,
- 7:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all. That's why I
- 7:03Speaker 1: said every day, see because of this radio show that
- 7:06Speaker 1: I didn't see coming. Now I have stories to tell,
- 7:10Speaker 1: and I can tell you about me better than I
- 7:12Speaker 1: can tell you about anybody, and I haven't been through
- 7:15Speaker 1: enough whereas relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that
- 7:19Speaker 1: happened to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what it
- 7:22Speaker 1: was for. See, I get it now. See at the time,
- 7:24Speaker 1: though I didn't like what was happening to me. At
- 7:28Speaker 1: the time, I was really in total disagreement with God
- 7:30Speaker 1: on a lot of stuff he was pulling off on me.
- 7:33Speaker 1: But in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 7:39Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 7:44Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 7:49Speaker 1: there indeed wrong. He forgave me, he said, because man,
- 7:53Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 7:56Speaker 1: for you that it's going to be far and above.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 8:04Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick on me, good and
- 8:07Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 8:10Speaker 1: And then God started working. And here I am today
- 8:15Speaker 1: now as he threw it me. Yet Nope, have I
- 8:18Speaker 1: arrived yet? Nope? But guess what the journey is cool?
- 8:23Speaker 1: And then you know what I found out that's kind
- 8:25Speaker 1: of what it's like in life. If you don't walked
- 8:28Speaker 1: off the cliff in life and you ain't got no
- 8:31Speaker 1: God in your life, it's like not having a parachute.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You step off the cliff and you just free falling.
- 8:39Speaker 1: We all now that fall gets you closer to the grave,
- 8:42Speaker 1: right see, were all heading to the grave from the
- 8:44Speaker 1: moment we're born. But the cool thing about the relationship
- 8:47Speaker 1: with God is when you step off the cliff and
- 8:50Speaker 1: you got God here a parachute. You're still going down,
- 8:54Speaker 1: but it's a nice ride. You guide and you're glad,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and you're softly, you enjoying your look around. You're smiling,
- 9:01Speaker 1: You're meeting other people along the way. You're floating over
- 9:05Speaker 1: here to skale a little while. You over there at
- 9:07Speaker 1: the beach for a little while, you mess around over here,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you get to go out the country a little bit
- 9:12Speaker 1: on your parachuting all and God just helps your your
- 9:15Speaker 1: descent appear more like a rise and then more like
- 9:19Speaker 1: a euphoric fall. Instead of not having no God in
- 9:23Speaker 1: your life and you just walking off that cliff every
- 9:26Speaker 1: day free falling. Ain't got no core, you steady pulling
- 9:30Speaker 1: you hauling the whole way because you mess around with
- 9:33Speaker 1: yourself and ain't let God come into your life and
- 9:35Speaker 1: provide a parachute for you. I would rather have a
- 9:39Speaker 1: parachute since I got to jump every day, than to
- 9:42Speaker 1: not have one. God has been like a parachute from me.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Ask me why where that came from? I can't tell you,
- 9:50Speaker 1: But like I always say, most good things that happened
- 9:53Speaker 1: in my life that I can't explain, it's usually him.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening show ladies, gentle people, alien animals, sea creatures,
- 10:12Speaker 1: lock this monster, Bigfoot, anybody, uh, Freddy Screw, Chucky, Jason Frankenstein, Godzilla,
- 10:35Speaker 1: m King Kong, Yes, and my dude, Zoe row out
- 10:46Speaker 1: of nowhere. Right after King come a mask and a seword.
- 10:54Speaker 1: More than anything, this is Steve Harvey, Martin, show y'all,
- 10:57Speaker 1: Charley Strawberry, collar around the mouth at the south of
- 11:00Speaker 1: Junior and the legend of Nephew Timmy Junior wants on
- 11:02Speaker 1: your mind day man. Man, let's just talk about this, man,
- 11:06Speaker 1: Let's just think about something wealth. Man, talk about wealth,
- 11:10Speaker 1: building wealth for your family and changing the generational direction
- 11:15Speaker 1: that with pressure I'm under, That's what I'm working under. Man,
- 11:19Speaker 1: what's the first step in that? When did you start
- 11:22Speaker 1: doing it? Well, first of all, you have to be
- 11:25Speaker 1: willing to take responsibility. And you just have to realize
- 11:29Speaker 1: that this has been laid upon you, if it's on
- 11:31Speaker 1: your heart and you're thinking about your legacy and creating
- 11:35Speaker 1: wealth for your family and generational wealth. First of all,
- 11:38Speaker 1: you have to take on the responsibility. It's a daunting
- 11:41Speaker 1: task and it can be done and but and then secondly,
- 11:45Speaker 1: you have to want to do it. Anybody fin a
- 11:49Speaker 1: hand it to you. Let's take the lottery for example.
- 11:52Speaker 1: In order to win the lottery, you have to play
- 11:54Speaker 1: the lottery. In order for the lottery to getting up
- 11:57Speaker 1: to that number, a lot of people have to take
- 11:59Speaker 1: a chance on it and miss. It's the chance that
- 12:03Speaker 1: has to be taken in order for the possibility of
- 12:07Speaker 1: the hit. So you've got to want to take on
- 12:10Speaker 1: the responsibility. Now that's a deep question, junior. So I'm
- 12:14Speaker 1: just gonna scratch the surface and just let everybody know
- 12:18Speaker 1: that that are levels to this. And if you approach
- 12:23Speaker 1: it with the simple theory that inch by inch anything's essential,
- 12:26Speaker 1: it'll be a much easier task for you. So instead
- 12:29Speaker 1: of trying to figure out how to become a billionaire.
- 12:32Speaker 1: If you could just figure out how to become a
- 12:34Speaker 1: thousand now, first, it makes it a little bit more
- 12:41Speaker 1: seemingly doable. And then if you approach an inch by inch,
- 12:45Speaker 1: anything's ESSENTI if you approach it in incremental steps. Set
- 12:50Speaker 1: your goals in long terms, mid term, short term, and
- 12:55Speaker 1: immediate goals. The if first goal a person has to
- 13:00Speaker 1: has to set is to start. That's the first goal.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Do you know the average person never starts because they're
- 13:09Speaker 1: so worried about the long term planning and stuff. The
- 13:13Speaker 1: first goal you have to do is to start, and
- 13:18Speaker 1: then you take it from that. That's the simpler way
- 13:20Speaker 1: to put it. Man. I could go into depth about this,
- 13:23Speaker 1: but we don't have the time. Man, God, good, that's
- 13:26Speaker 1: a good one right now to start all but you
- 13:29Speaker 1: know how hard that is. All right, thank you guys.
- 13:35Speaker 1: That was good. Let's start this show again. Coming up
- 13:38Speaker 1: in thirty two minutes after the hour, run that prank
- 13:42Speaker 1: back with the Nephew. Right after this you're listening show,
- 13:47Speaker 1: all right, it is time to start your morning off
- 13:49Speaker 1: with run that prank back with the nephew, which you
- 13:52Speaker 1: got nephew, your baby going back to pre k However, yes,
- 13:58Speaker 1: I'm time to reach the Thomas please, miss. My name
- 14:02Speaker 1: is mister Stapleton. I'm actually the principal over at elementary school.
- 14:07Speaker 1: You're I'm looking at my records indicating that your son,
- 14:10Speaker 1: Thomas is going to be starting his first grade. Ready, right, listen,
- 14:16Speaker 1: miss Thomas. Um, I've been going through actually all of
- 14:19Speaker 1: the children's records that will be starting school, and I'm
- 14:23Speaker 1: looking at your son's grades from his kindergarten. Well, no,
- 14:30Speaker 1: not exactly. I mean there's been a few Uh. I
- 14:33Speaker 1: actually spoke with the teacher who he was under in kindergarten,
- 14:37Speaker 1: and it seems like he just really wasn't up to
- 14:39Speaker 1: par as the rest of the children. Now, his conduct, now,
- 14:43Speaker 1: he talked, but he gets his work. So what else
- 14:46Speaker 1: is she saying on that that ain't right? Well? What
- 14:49Speaker 1: what's what it seems to be, ma'am, is that his
- 14:51Speaker 1: grades weren't up to par as the rest of the
- 14:53Speaker 1: other children. She did tell me he was a disobedient child. No,
- 14:56Speaker 1: he disobedient and talking two different things. Come on, Okay,
- 15:00Speaker 1: well man, listen. What we've decided here is we're gonna
- 15:04Speaker 1: let a little actually do another year of kindergarten. No,
- 15:07Speaker 1: y'all ain't gonna let him do another year of kindergarten. No,
- 15:10Speaker 1: sun man, that's that's the only choice I have. No.
- 15:14Speaker 1: We got our letter in the mail with our report
- 15:18Speaker 1: card the week after school started, and it said on
- 15:21Speaker 1: the back promoted. And if I got to get about
- 15:24Speaker 1: this couch and go get it, I'm gonna be dot
- 15:26Speaker 1: because I'm telling you right now we will be in
- 15:29Speaker 1: the first grade. Kindergarten. Won that hard. I'm not sure
- 15:33Speaker 1: what they told you about him, but it must be
- 15:35Speaker 1: the wrong. Well, I understanding he's he doesn't color as
- 15:39Speaker 1: well as arrested kids. He's all out of he's out
- 15:41Speaker 1: of the lines when he called. He doesn't know his
- 15:43Speaker 1: numbers completely. And that's kind of what we need when
- 15:46Speaker 1: you first come into into the first grade. When I
- 15:50Speaker 1: can show you on this paper he did satisfactory all
- 15:52Speaker 1: the way through. Now you about the off and I'm
- 15:55Speaker 1: already sick calling me with some about my son blank
- 15:59Speaker 1: and kenderd and he ain't that kind of He does
- 16:01Speaker 1: not color. Well, man, listen, color ain't gonna do with
- 16:04Speaker 1: the dad guard kindergarten. He is going to the first grade,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and I'll be down there on August twenty fourth, I
- 16:10Speaker 1: will not be able to allow you to get in
- 16:12Speaker 1: the school on mister, I'm sorry, and let me get
- 16:16Speaker 1: Let me tell you what. Let me go in and and
- 16:18Speaker 1: get my pencil pen because I don't live that far
- 16:19Speaker 1: from this school. And if y'all i't read it down
- 16:21Speaker 1: there causing some comflict, I need to get up and
- 16:23Speaker 1: go down there, because I'm not telling my baby when
- 16:25Speaker 1: he come home to day that he ain't going to
- 16:27Speaker 1: the dad gun first man. I hate to say it,
- 16:29Speaker 1: but I'm gonna have to refuse education from him on
- 16:32Speaker 1: August twenty four. You know what, I just went back
- 16:34Speaker 1: and put him in public school. I know that was
- 16:35Speaker 1: a stake in the first place. Food which I'm talking
- 16:38Speaker 1: about some coloring. Give me your name again, sir Stapleton man,
- 16:42Speaker 1: And what's that number down there? The number here is
- 16:44Speaker 1: actually area code women. I got the number the mind.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I pulled up this report card. I got the number
- 16:50Speaker 1: in your name on the back of this paper. I'll
- 16:51Speaker 1: tell you what, August twenty fourth will be coming in
- 16:54Speaker 1: there going to school, and I might make a trip
- 16:56Speaker 1: around that this evening when I come from the doctor.
- 16:58Speaker 1: The bottom line, ma'am, I'm not going to hear that.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Colin ain't got no to do with nothing else. But
- 17:04Speaker 1: it's not only color, he's a rhythmetickets back. No, are
- 17:08Speaker 1: you working with him at home? Are you doing anything
- 17:11Speaker 1: at home? Every what you're trying to say, I'm an
- 17:13Speaker 1: incompetent parent. I'm just asking, as a parent, are you
- 17:16Speaker 1: working with your child. I'm working with my child every day.
- 17:18Speaker 1: He can read better than me. Problem, No, he can't read.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm the prince. I can't read better than you because
- 17:23Speaker 1: hobnously you read that role on that paper that he's
- 17:25Speaker 1: supposed to be going back to kindergarten. When I know
- 17:28Speaker 1: the paper say from it going to the first grade.
- 17:30Speaker 1: And I'm not listening to no more this about him
- 17:33Speaker 1: going backwards. Now, if you got a problem with your paperwork,
- 17:37Speaker 1: maybe you need to go talk to your secretary of
- 17:39Speaker 1: somebody in there that wrote my baby name down, your name,
- 17:42Speaker 1: your son's name, Thomas Man. No, it ain't him, baby,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I know it ain't him. You're not gonna sit up
- 17:47Speaker 1: and tell me my son is flocking kindergarden. He is
- 17:50Speaker 1: not going back to that kindergarten. Don't bring your son
- 17:52Speaker 1: down here. August twenty four. I'll tell you what you
- 17:56Speaker 1: ready to up me and my husband, but we will
- 17:58Speaker 1: be down there a fat shoes uniform. Everything you hear me,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I will not be able to allow him and education
- 18:05Speaker 1: that right now. I would come down that right now
- 18:07Speaker 1: and make that correction on that paper for you. Can
- 18:09Speaker 1: you is not going back to no candy got for
- 18:13Speaker 1: no coloring? Can you bring him down him and let
- 18:15Speaker 1: him color for me? I can't you tell my color
- 18:17Speaker 1: the rimon taking ourselves? No? Uh no, I'm sorry. We
- 18:21Speaker 1: will be down there. I was the two ndred and four.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I would have this poor card in my head that
- 18:26Speaker 1: says you have been promoted to the first glad that
- 18:28Speaker 1: he's gonna have a man on his face, and so
- 18:30Speaker 1: are you. I got one more thing I need to
- 18:32Speaker 1: tell you. Are you listening to me? I'm listening. You
- 18:35Speaker 1: ain't saying nothing yet. You better say something that sounds
- 18:37Speaker 1: like the first grade, because I'm not playing. I would
- 18:39Speaker 1: go down to this dag. I'm administrative office, and I
- 18:41Speaker 1: had because my son would be in that first grade.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Are you raising your voice? Who are you raising your voice?
- 18:48Speaker 1: You talking crazing to me? I'm talking cresident him. What
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm a grown woman. I don't need to be explained
- 18:53Speaker 1: to you why I'm trying to Did you graduate? Honey?
- 18:57Speaker 1: I am a college degree person. I have a great job.
- 19:01Speaker 1: My husband and I do well for ourselves and for
- 19:03Speaker 1: our children. And that's why we're not. You're not You're
- 19:05Speaker 1: not even at work right now. Man, that's it. I'm

- 20:00Speaker 1: me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got

- 23:33Speaker 1: I'm in my late thirties and I had a daughter
- 23:35Speaker 1: when I was a junior in high school. Now that
- 23:38Speaker 1: she's grown, I want to move into a smaller home
- 23:40Speaker 1: and travel. My daughter feels like I'm pushing her out
- 23:44Speaker 1: of my life. But she doesn't understand how much I
- 23:46Speaker 1: gave up by being a young mom. How do I
- 23:49Speaker 1: get her to understand that ain't her fault. No, it's
- 23:53Speaker 1: not all she got his her mama. Yea, all she
- 23:59Speaker 1: knew is her mamma. I'll been more like friends anyway,
- 24:01Speaker 1: y'all was close in age. Now she's gonna lose her
- 24:04Speaker 1: mom and her friend. That's what it sounded like to her.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Now you're talking about what you gave up. You you
- 24:11Speaker 1: made that decision junior high. What No, junior junior in
- 24:19Speaker 1: high school? Damn need the same thing? No, No, hey,
- 24:27Speaker 1: junior in high school two years before junior high. Now,
- 24:35Speaker 1: see you're talking about now, Junior high was seven through nine.
- 24:40Speaker 1: High school was ten through twelve. Now go ahead, Shirley
- 24:46Speaker 1: Man was different than that, all right? Well, Lauren in
- 24:50Speaker 1: DMV area says, I'm a professional woman with a history
- 24:54Speaker 1: of emotionally abusing my boyfriend, or at least that's what
- 24:58Speaker 1: he told our therapist. Um, he won't stand up to
- 25:01Speaker 1: me when we argue, and that bothers me. Why won't
- 25:05Speaker 1: he take control of this relationship? Because you crazy? What
- 25:10Speaker 1: that to me? Stand up to you? Tired of you
- 25:16Speaker 1: all this fighting and stuff? You are emotionally abusing the man?
- 25:20Speaker 1: And why won't he stand up to you? Because when
- 25:22Speaker 1: he stand up, you stand up? Mote. Yeah, you're already
- 25:26Speaker 1: in therapy. Dang, damn, she won't exactly now you won't
- 25:34Speaker 1: hit me? Why why won't he fight me? Damn? Why
- 25:39Speaker 1: won't he take control of this relationship? Why don't you quit? Argument? Yeah?
- 25:43Speaker 1: He needs to leave. He don't want the relationship this
- 25:47Speaker 1: therapist just so he could say he tried. He already
- 25:51Speaker 1: got somebody else. Now go home, fight about that? Na
- 25:54Speaker 1: naybody taking all that nag and off you please? Board
- 26:01Speaker 1: are ain't married? No? No, no, no oh no he
- 26:04Speaker 1: got somebody else. No, No, he got somebody else. She
- 26:07Speaker 1: emotionally abuses him, and he got he went somewhere where
- 26:11Speaker 1: he don't get emotionally abused. What man don't do that?
- 26:14Speaker 1: M All right, Lauren? About to lose your man? He
- 26:18Speaker 1: go he's your man. You're about to lose your man.
- 26:23Speaker 1: And she didn't say she's a professional woman with the
- 26:28Speaker 1: history of emotionally abusing her boyfriend. And that's what he
- 26:32Speaker 1: told her therapist. At least that's what he told That's
- 26:35Speaker 1: why he got somebody. Wouldn't he stand up to me
- 26:38Speaker 1: when we argued? You nutt? Yeah? This is craziness right here?
- 26:46Speaker 1: A man? All right? Last one, I probably nutted and
- 26:51Speaker 1: probably got banned off the things. You can't say no more.
- 26:54Speaker 1: But but since I ain't got the little okay nuttie
- 26:59Speaker 1: h empire and get yeah, all right? Moving on to
- 27:09Speaker 1: Andrea in Lake Charles Um, Andrea writes, my seventeen year
- 27:13Speaker 1: old seventeen year old son snuck the female in my house,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and my husband caught them in the act. He came
- 27:18Speaker 1: and told me not to go into the game room
- 27:20Speaker 1: because he didn't want to embarrass our son. He said
- 27:24Speaker 1: he'd handled our son. Later a few days passed, and
- 27:27Speaker 1: he didn't punish our son. Shouldn't he be punished where
- 27:31Speaker 1: he's something? Let me ask you a question, what is
- 27:36Speaker 1: the punishment in your PA's gonna make him not do
- 27:40Speaker 1: that again? You break the seal on the cookie y'all
- 27:48Speaker 1: all you wanted cookie, So now what punishment? Sure, I
- 27:54Speaker 1: go ahead, I'm listening. I mean he snuck a female
- 27:56Speaker 1: in the house. Punish men ought to be tell me, okay,
- 28:02Speaker 1: he can't drive a car? Yeah, all of that time
- 28:07Speaker 1: to focus on one thing. But can I keep bringing
- 28:10Speaker 1: his girl up here? Though? Can I keep? No? He
- 28:14Speaker 1: cannot sneak another female? They got FaceTime? Okay, what else
- 28:17Speaker 1: you got? No? If we take his phone, he down? Yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 1: take no seventeen year old phone? Seventeen? Yeah, that's the punishment.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Though he's seventeen. He you don't think he gonna go
- 28:30Speaker 1: down and get it. He's gonna does he have a job.
- 28:35Speaker 1: He'll have to ask me for the money or his
- 28:37Speaker 1: dad for the money. You think you're going to close
- 28:39Speaker 1: my life? It's way too much technical stuff going on.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Punish this boy. I mean, I appreciate y'all wanting to
- 28:46Speaker 1: put him on punishment on this year time. The dad
- 28:49Speaker 1: is probably going, boy, I'll tell you so come on now,
- 28:57Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 28:58Speaker 1: Thank you. See LA entertainment and trending headline news. Right
- 29:03Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to show well. Beyonce released her
- 29:10Speaker 1: album Renaissance last week, and it has been filled with
- 29:13Speaker 1: more drama. R and B singer Kalise said that Beyonce
- 29:17Speaker 1: and music producer Farrell disrespected her by using a sample
- 29:21Speaker 1: of milkshake without her permission. It seems like Callise and
- 29:25Speaker 1: Barrell have an ongoing beast and Beyonce has removed the
- 29:29Speaker 1: interprelation of milkshake on the track Energy and it's the
- 29:33Speaker 1: second revision of Renaissance, and I'll be, a slur that
- 29:38Speaker 1: is often used to demean people with spastic cerebral palsy
- 29:42Speaker 1: was removed as well from the track Heated earlier this week,
- 29:46Speaker 1: and you could check this out too now. Monica Lewinsky
- 29:50Speaker 1: has asked Beyonce to remove a lyric referencing her affair
- 29:53Speaker 1: with former President Bill Clinton. She tweeted the link to
- 29:56Speaker 1: a Variety article reporting on the controversy and added the caption, well,
- 30:02Speaker 1: while we're at it partition, in reference to Beyonce's twenty
- 30:06Speaker 1: thirteen song Partition in the track Beyonce Things, he popped
- 30:11Speaker 1: all my buttons and he ripped my blouse Semnica Lewinski
- 30:15Speaker 1: all on my gown. The lyric alludes to Lewinsky the
- 30:18Speaker 1: Courts nineteen ninety five to nineteen ninety seven affair with
- 30:21Speaker 1: then President Bill Well, we're not taking that out, No,
- 30:25Speaker 1: we're not. Thank you. That stays stays. I don't even
- 30:33Speaker 1: understand about that other one either from Calice Milkshake. The
- 30:39Speaker 1: other one too, I don't understand. No, no, yeah, police
- 30:42Speaker 1: was really upset. She felt that they knew. Yeah her,
- 30:45Speaker 1: She's been beefing with Pharrell, who actually produced Milkshake. So
- 30:48Speaker 1: it was. It was a big old social media rant.
- 30:52Speaker 1: So Beyonce just probably wonderful girl in all this, but
- 30:56Speaker 1: sometimes we don't make the best decisions. Sometimes Rance could
- 31:00Speaker 1: have just turned into a phone call at a business decision,
- 31:03Speaker 1: a check. You know, I don't even think it was Beyonce,
- 31:11Speaker 1: but you know what Beyonce did was okay, cool, take
- 31:14Speaker 1: it out. I don't want to hear it clear. Yeah, well,
- 31:20Speaker 1: let's get to this. And other entertainment news, Wendy Williams
- 31:24Speaker 1: reportedly is not married, despite her claim. Speaking to Hollywood
- 31:29Speaker 1: Unlocked founder Jason Lee, Wendy claimed that she secretly married
- 31:34Speaker 1: a New York Police Department officer named Henry. However, Henry, However,
- 31:42Speaker 1: her rep william Shelby William Selby, I should say, has
- 31:45Speaker 1: denied this claim and said Wendy is not married. Wendy
- 31:49Speaker 1: also claims that she is still having financial problems, and
- 31:52Speaker 1: her American expresses cut off. So hearboy, Henry, who's here?
- 32:00Speaker 1: Just last thing I hear about her feet? Hurt? I
- 32:03Speaker 1: don't hear. No, that wasn't the last thing. The last
- 32:08Speaker 1: thing was like she was ready. Yes, that was the
- 32:13Speaker 1: last thing. Uh so she's not married. So she just
- 32:17Speaker 1: got carried away. She and Henry are not married. Now. No, Henry,
- 32:23Speaker 1: get hit this too soon for somebody. We don't know him. Henry,
- 32:27Speaker 1: who's just Henry? Just Henry and Henry are not sitting
- 32:34Speaker 1: in a tree. O. No, he's officer. Okay, he's an
- 32:47Speaker 1: officer of the law. All right. Well, finally, in trending
- 32:51Speaker 1: national news, a monkey pox outbreak has now grown into
- 32:54Speaker 1: a problem serious enough for President Biden to a point
- 32:57Speaker 1: of National monkey pox Response Cordinator, a National monkey pocks
- 33:02Speaker 1: Response Coordinator. All right. His name is Robert Fenton. He's
- 33:07Speaker 1: a former FEMA administrator who has previously led multiple disease
- 33:11Speaker 1: prevention and response operations. He will lead the fight against
- 33:14Speaker 1: monkey pops, which now has more than six thousand cases
- 33:18Speaker 1: reported in the US, mostly in major cities like New
- 33:22Speaker 1: York and San Francisco. Fenton and this team will focus
- 33:25Speaker 1: on increasing the availability of test, vaccinations and treatments. So
- 33:31Speaker 1: there you go. So this is real monkey business anything? Really? Oh?
- 33:42Speaker 1: I think it was. I'm out of sickness myself. I
- 33:45Speaker 1: just don't know what they won't now. Yeah, it's a
- 33:49Speaker 1: lot COVID. Now you got monkey pops. Yeah. Oh I'm trying.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I hope. I don't get that, and I don't want
- 33:57Speaker 1: none of it. We don't want none of it. But
- 34:00Speaker 1: if they started doing those press conferences remember the day
- 34:03Speaker 1: livery day? Yeah, like Fouci doctor Fauci thirty every Friday,
- 34:09Speaker 1: every day. Oh, I hope. Yeah, job you could handle
- 34:15Speaker 1: Steve Nash. I know you have a lot of jobs,
- 34:17Speaker 1: national about it a lot. A matter of fact, I'd
- 34:20Speaker 1: love to be the dude to come on every day.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, ladies and gentlemen, here we are with the days. Uh,
- 34:32Speaker 1: the or the MPR is what we're gonna call it,
- 34:34Speaker 1: the monkey Pox Report. Here's your monkey pot boil. Okay,
- 34:42Speaker 1: Jack Riller, I'm gonna even have a monkey name Jack. Really, Hi, everybody,
- 34:49Speaker 1: I'm Jack will Win. Here's the day's monkey pox report.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Just wanted to report that were eight new cases of
- 34:55Speaker 1: monkey pox today, nowhere near me, So I'm just fine
- 34:59Speaker 1: with it. Oh. Monkey pox, in case you haven't heard,
- 35:02Speaker 1: is a contagious visas sped by touch. It's unsightly, ungod
- 35:07Speaker 1: live amount of bumps. They come on your body. The
- 35:10Speaker 1: only place that this is alarming this when they show
- 35:13Speaker 1: up on your damn face. My suggestion is if you
- 35:16Speaker 1: get monkey pox day or ass at the house, don't
- 35:18Speaker 1: come up to the house. Buncle. We ain't taking nobody
- 35:20Speaker 1: in up there because you can't come up in there
- 35:22Speaker 1: affect everybody else. Monkey pox. We don't know what it is,
- 35:26Speaker 1: where it comes from, where it's going, or who got it,
- 35:29Speaker 1: and what the queue is. So that's the report today.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Good luck, have a nice day out there and stay
- 35:35Speaker 1: away from the monkeys. Will for you tomorrow, all right, Yeah,
- 35:42Speaker 1: that's what it's going up. Twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:46Speaker 1: we'll talk about Late Country. Start Naomi Shud. Right after this.
- 35:50Speaker 1: You're listening to show Country. Start Naomi Judd. If you recall,
- 35:56Speaker 1: died back in April, and now a new report claims
- 35:59Speaker 1: that she didn't leave any of her estate to her
- 36:01Speaker 1: two daughters, Winona and Ashley. Radar Online reports that Naomi's husband,
- 36:07Speaker 1: Larry Strickland, who she wed back in nineteen eighty nine,
- 36:10Speaker 1: has been named executor of her estate, leaving him total
- 36:13Speaker 1: control of her fortune and if he seizes or fails
- 36:16Speaker 1: to serve she chose her brother in law. Naomi's estate
- 36:21Speaker 1: is set to be worth about twenty five million dollars. Yeah,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and rumor has it that her daughter, Whinona is upset
- 36:28Speaker 1: with her mother's decision, especially because, as a co member
- 36:31Speaker 1: of the Judgs, Winona believes that she was a major
- 36:34Speaker 1: force behind her mother's success. So there you go, right
- 36:41Speaker 1: a writing, Please tell me I am the executive of
- 36:45Speaker 1: the state. It's just come ready to ask Steve that
- 36:50Speaker 1: it don't I got well here because I know I'm
- 36:53Speaker 1: in control of you. Got everything in order, Steve. I
- 36:57Speaker 1: just want to say this. I don't I ain't trying
- 37:03Speaker 1: to hurt you. Yeah, I hurt you. Your ass is
- 37:12Speaker 1: gonna be in for a major disappointment. Are you listening?
- 37:16Speaker 1: That for you? And I don't want you to feel
- 37:18Speaker 1: no kind of way about it. It's not reflective of
- 37:21Speaker 1: how I truly feel about you. I'm not the executive
- 37:28Speaker 1: of the state, because the executive of the wheel has
- 37:32Speaker 1: to be somebody who is going to be there to
- 37:36Speaker 1: make you that the wheel and the wishes of the
- 37:39Speaker 1: deceases carried out. I'm gonna make your will and wishes
- 37:43Speaker 1: is Canada. First of all, require the reason I didn't
- 37:52Speaker 1: make you really thinking I'm gonna I'll leave your hand? Wow,
- 37:59Speaker 1: would I make you the damn executive? You ain't gonna
- 38:02Speaker 1: be bipart, but all the price and stuff, somebody gonna
- 38:09Speaker 1: kick it. Well, what did you leave? Tommy? It's Tommy
- 38:12Speaker 1: in there at all. He's not the Yeah, no, no, no, wait,
- 38:15Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait can Tommy even say the word
- 38:19Speaker 1: let's start there? No, Tommy has another question because you
- 38:25Speaker 1: ain't gonna beleave what I left? Tommy, you want to
- 38:28Speaker 1: be the executor of something, he can't say. I can
- 38:31Speaker 1: be the executive of the whuill what crazy any of his?
- 38:39Speaker 1: Who wishes I'm under controlled? Heaven? I left you all
- 38:45Speaker 1: my shoes. Big shoes don't fit me. Well, at least
- 38:53Speaker 1: you finally admitted that I don't want your damn shoes.
- 38:58Speaker 1: You ain't gonna be able to fill him, so that
- 39:00Speaker 1: while you're listening to show it is time to check
- 39:06Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail and if you want to leave Steve a message,
- 39:10Speaker 1: all you have to do is call us eight seven
- 39:12Speaker 1: seven twenty nine Steve. The first callers from Mississippi, Steve.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Her name is Phoebe. By Steve, This is Phoebe from Mississippi.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I just wanted to tell you how much I admired
- 39:24Speaker 1: your response to Will Smith's apology. You reminded us of
- 39:29Speaker 1: grace and mercy and forgiveness, the importance of it. You know,
- 39:34Speaker 1: one thing that I want to shout out strong black men,
- 39:37Speaker 1: is that you show us your strength and your resilience,
- 39:42Speaker 1: especially to get back up even after struggles and disappointments.
- 39:47Speaker 1: And your testimony each day proves that you can fall,
- 39:52Speaker 1: but it's important to get back up. And I just
- 39:56Speaker 1: want to say thank you, thank you for being such
- 39:58Speaker 1: a great example of that. The pressures that we see
- 40:03Speaker 1: and feel each day, it is very real, but you
- 40:07Speaker 1: have shown us how important it is to never give up.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Thank you. Well, that was nice. I'm glad too, because
- 40:17Speaker 1: that's one of the things that I I do try
- 40:21Speaker 1: to be transparent about, is the failure part of life
- 40:26Speaker 1: and the resiliency that we have and the forgiveness that
- 40:30Speaker 1: God has. That's a really important part of my life, man,
- 40:33Speaker 1: because you know, it kills me when people talk about

- 50:27Speaker 1: with the manager. What's your name? Never mind what my
- 50:30Speaker 1: name is, just know that I'm the manager. Okay. Let
- 50:33Speaker 1: me say this to you. Just you to manager there.
- 50:35Speaker 1: If I don't get no pizzas here tonight, I'm when

- 51:22Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. I want you to remember
- 51:24Speaker 1: eating number three fold two dad six eight nine. If

- 51:30Speaker 1: damn pizza place, then you know my then got out
- 51:33Speaker 1: and I'm looking for your three foot two dad six
- 51:36Speaker 1: eight nine. I don't give it about three pot two
- 51:39Speaker 1: six eight nine and seven pot three. What I'm saying
- 51:42Speaker 1: is your grass. If you come up here in three
- 51:44Speaker 1: years and guess where, don't drop the sola. Who who

- 52:46Speaker 1: ain't gold off gate, sir. We ain't got no problem

- 53:45Speaker 1: got it. Point you here. It is the strawberry letter.
- 53:48Speaker 1: I'm stealing, Angola, I'm stealing. I don't need to be.
- 53:54Speaker 1: We'll get out now. Letter. Here we go. Thank you.
- 53:59Speaker 1: New subjects. I picked him up and they're still lying.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirlotte. I have been married for twenty two
- 54:05Speaker 1: years to a fool who thinks I'm crazy. He works
- 54:08Speaker 1: two jobs and takes great care of me, but I
- 54:11Speaker 1: think he resents me because I never had children for him.
- 54:14Speaker 1: At first, we agreed that we didn't want kids, but
- 54:16Speaker 1: now we're almost fifty and he said he wants a son.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Because of that, he has become very involved with the
- 54:23Speaker 1: neighborhood friend's son. I thought he was being a good neighbor,
- 54:26Speaker 1: but now I think he is using the boy to
- 54:28Speaker 1: get to his mama. We've known this woman for years,
- 54:31Speaker 1: and when she lost her husband three years ago, our
- 54:34Speaker 1: small community was there for her and her kids. She
- 54:37Speaker 1: has an eight year old son and a five year
- 54:39Speaker 1: old daughter. My husband and I kept the kids a
- 54:42Speaker 1: few times in the past, and recently my husband has
- 54:46Speaker 1: tutored the boy in math, and he even bought an
- 54:48Speaker 1: Easter suit for him last year for him this year.
- 54:51Speaker 1: A week ago, my husband asked me if it was
- 54:53Speaker 1: okay for him to paint this lady's daughter's bedroom. I
- 54:57Speaker 1: did not mind, but I thought it was rand him
- 55:00Speaker 1: because my husband is not a painter. That day, he
- 55:03Speaker 1: was at her house for hours and I didn't call
- 55:06Speaker 1: to bother him. That evening, the lady called me and
- 55:09Speaker 1: said that my husband was really sick and needed to
- 55:12Speaker 1: go to the ear. I rushed to her house and
- 55:15Speaker 1: my husband was laid out on the floor in his
- 55:17Speaker 1: boxer's undershirt and footies. He was slurring and slobbing, and
- 55:23Speaker 1: I knew right off that he wasn't sick, he was drunk.
- 55:27Speaker 1: She wanted him gone before her kids got home and
- 55:30Speaker 1: she could move him. She said he took his clothes
- 55:33Speaker 1: off because he couldn't breathe. A neighbor had to help
- 55:36Speaker 1: him get him into the car. My husband has been
- 55:38Speaker 1: sleeping on our couch since then, and they swear that
- 55:42Speaker 1: nothing sexual happened. Why are they lying? Should I send
- 55:47Speaker 1: him back over to her house? Well, you know, if
- 55:50Speaker 1: you listen to this show, you would know there are
- 55:53Speaker 1: lies that Steve respects and approves of. And then there
- 55:57Speaker 1: are just some, just some really really stupid lies. Okay,
- 56:01Speaker 1: saying he was in his boxers and his undershirt and
- 56:03Speaker 1: his footies because he couldn't breathe, it was just a
- 56:07Speaker 1: stupid lie. It was just dumb. The only reason for
- 56:09Speaker 1: him to be almost all the way dressed over some
- 56:12Speaker 1: other woman's house after he had been there all day
- 56:15Speaker 1: is if he and the neighbor lady were doing it
- 56:18Speaker 1: or about to do something before you got there. I mean,
- 56:20Speaker 1: they're playing house over there. He wasn't painting the daughter's room.
- 56:24Speaker 1: You never even mentioned that. Again. I guess it was
- 56:27Speaker 1: a shock of seeing him drunk, laid out on the
- 56:29Speaker 1: floor and in his underwear that made you forget all
- 56:32Speaker 1: about that. And yes, there is a difference between being
- 56:35Speaker 1: drunk and sick, and you know your husband. I'm shocked
- 56:39Speaker 1: that she called you, but I do believe you're right.
- 56:42Speaker 1: She desperately needed him out of the house before the
- 56:44Speaker 1: kids got home, and she definitely needed him needed some
- 56:49Speaker 1: help getting him out of there. Huh so a neighbor helped. Well,
- 56:53Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, now that he's home, what are
- 56:56Speaker 1: you gonna do? You let him stay over her house
- 56:59Speaker 1: all day, supposedly painting her daughter's room and not even
- 57:03Speaker 1: checking on him all day for hours. You just can't
- 57:08Speaker 1: leave your man over some other woman's house and not
- 57:10Speaker 1: contact him. You should have gone over there to see
- 57:13Speaker 1: what was going on. Now you're asking if you should
- 57:16Speaker 1: send him back, Well not unless you want the same
- 57:19Speaker 1: thing to happen all over again, and until you figure
- 57:22Speaker 1: out whether you're staying in this marriage, what you're gonna do.
- 57:24Speaker 1: He needs to stay on that couch and stay his
- 57:27Speaker 1: butt at home, period, Steve. I picked him up and
- 57:34Speaker 1: they're still lying. This is a really, really weird letter.
- 57:42Speaker 1: It is kind of crazy. Really, this couple been married
- 57:46Speaker 1: twenty two years now, She say, to a fool who
- 57:50Speaker 1: thinks I'm crazy, Well, I did this marriage last twenty
- 57:55Speaker 1: two years to a man who is a fool, and
- 57:59Speaker 1: to a man who thinks you crazy. He got two jobs,
- 58:04Speaker 1: take great care of me. But I think he resents
- 58:06Speaker 1: me because I never had children for him. At first,
- 58:09Speaker 1: we agreed we didn't want kids, but now we're almost
- 58:12Speaker 1: fifty and he wants a son. You all agreed, but
- 58:16Speaker 1: he never stopped wanting kids. Okay, cool, all right? Because
- 58:20Speaker 1: of that, he has become very involved with the neighborhood
- 58:24Speaker 1: friend's son. I thought he was being a good neighbor,
- 58:28Speaker 1: but now I think he's using the boy to get
- 58:31Speaker 1: to his mama. Well, I think it's both. I think
- 58:35Speaker 1: he's also using the mama to get to the boy. Now,
- 58:40Speaker 1: but we've known this woman for years, and when she
- 58:43Speaker 1: lost her husband three years ago, our small community was
- 58:47Speaker 1: there for her and her kid. Now, when you say
- 58:51Speaker 1: lost her husband three years ago, does that mean death?
- 58:55Speaker 1: Is that? How y'all? He died? Oh she could have
- 59:02Speaker 1: lost him to another woman or something like that. Okay,
- 59:06Speaker 1: Well he died and the community and everybody was there
- 59:12Speaker 1: for She got eight year old son and five year
- 59:13Speaker 1: old daughter. My husband and I kept kids a few
- 59:16Speaker 1: times in the past. And your husband tuted the boy
- 59:19Speaker 1: in math, and he's even bought in Easter suit for
- 59:22Speaker 1: him this year. I think that's pretty good at a man.
- 59:25Speaker 1: I like that. A week ago, my husband ask if
- 59:28Speaker 1: he was okay for him to paint this lady's daughter's
- 59:31Speaker 1: bed room. Now, this is where it gets interested because
- 59:35Speaker 1: and even to even know that the daughter's bedroom need painting,
- 59:40Speaker 1: a pretty extensive conversation has been had. Because you can
- 59:45Speaker 1: tutor the boy in math, and you can buy easter suit.
- 59:48Speaker 1: What that got to do with the girl bedroom needing paint?
- 59:52Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on, we'll come back with part
- 59:55Speaker 1: two of your response at twenty three minutes after the
- 59:57Speaker 1: hour of today's Strawberry Letters. Subject I picked him up
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: and they're still lying. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is I picked him
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: up and they're still lying. Well, this lady and man
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: been married for over twenty two years. She thinks the
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: man is is a fool and for thinking she's crazy.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: They always he always wanted a son. She thinks there's
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: some resentment because he couldn't have she couldn't have children
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: for him. He's fallen and taken to this neighbor's son.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: The woman lost her husband three years ago. She's got
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: an eight year old boy, five year old daughter. He's
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: kind of taken to the boy. Tutored him in math
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and all this. He embodied me east to Sue. And
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: she says in the letter that I think he's using
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: the boy to get to his mom. When I think
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: it's him using them mama to get to the boy.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: And it may be a package deal here that they're
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: working on. You've kept the kids a few times, and
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: you know all this here. Week ago, your husband said,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: is it okay for him to paint this lady's daughter's
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: bed room? Now that's a conversation, y'all. I've had a
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: conversation with a lot of women in my life and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: painting the baby's bed room and ever come up? Okay, Ever,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I'm telling you that was some extensive conversations coming up,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: some type of trade off, some type of deal, something
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: of value. I need my daughter's bedroom painting. That's the
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: only way that can come up. And then the lady said,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: he asked me it was okay. I didn't mind, but
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I thought it was random because my husband is not
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: a painter. Yeah, but you ain't huddles. You know, we
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: a whole lot of things when we got to be
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Now have to get over to your house. Requires that
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I'll become a painter. That's what it is. I'm going
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: down here the lows. I'm I'm gonna work through some stone.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I'mna come back with the little plastic, come back with
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the can of paint. The brush, you to roll the pan.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: The pan. I'm gonna come back with a stir stick, right,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna come back with some tape, that blue tape
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: so I could mash off the edge humping the line.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna going on YouTube and I'm gonna paint this,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: damn lord. Yes. Well, the day came. He was at
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: our house for hours and I didn't call to bother him.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: And that evening the lady called me and said that
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: my husband was really sick and needed to go to
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: the ear. Now this was all we had to work
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: through this. Now I rushed to her house. My husband
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: was laid out on the floor into his box under
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: shirt and footies. He was slurring and slobbery, and I
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: knew right off he wasn't sick because she'd been with
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: him twenty two years. He was drunk. She wanted him
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to get she wanted me, she wanted him gone before
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: her kids got home. And she couldn't move. She said
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: she took his clothes off because he couldn't breathe. Do
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you know how hard it is to get a man's
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: clothes off, And what they got to do with breathing? Yeah,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: he was breathing when he had him on, when he
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: walked his ass over there. He was breathing when he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: was painting that damn house. Now all of a sudden,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Why he got to be half naked to Breathe don't
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: get it. A neighbor had to help us get him
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: in the car. My husband has been sleeping on that
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: couch since then. They swear nothing sexual happened. Why they lined,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: should I send him back over the hum Well, I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: don't know what you should. I really don't. I don't
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: have announcer, but I'm gonna do tell you something that
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I do know that drinking and painting don't mix this much.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I do know that is no free to try to
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: drink and stay in them lynes, no wheeze to try
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: to drink and thank you, ain't gonna get that paint
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: on that damn trenk. That is no way you can
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: line that tape up and your ass is drinking. There
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: is no design to paint after you've been drinking. Painting
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: is physical labor. Drinking to the point where he drunk
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: when his speech is slur He didn't had to. I
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: thought it was painting. Well, he was over there. There
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: was no paint, only exactly. The daughter's bedroom still ain't
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: need no paint the whole painting the daughter bed room.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: So now she got to get him out of him
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: because they've been drinking. He drank too much and now
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: he didn't fell out. She got to get him out
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: of here for that, and to taking his clothes off.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: You know how hard it is for a woman to
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: pick a man him take his clothes off, you know hard.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: He took them clothes off his cell. He was ready,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: but he didn't understand the rules of drinking. When you
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: are drinking and you start to feel something, that is
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: the time to stop drinking and start consuming water. If
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: you continue to drink after you first feel something, the
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: rest of that liquor ain't hit the blood sister. And
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: here's him. But that's why I don't drink, because I
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: watched my brother my entire life, and I'm an experted
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: and I know who in it's coming. I see the slat.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: So good luck with your marriage, lady, whatever. And now
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: coming up at forty six minutes after the hour, we
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: got sports talk with Junior right after this. You're listening,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: all right, here we go, it's Junior and sports talk.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: What you got junior. All right, Shirley, Well, another investigation
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: has come to a close. The Miami Dolphins owner Stephen
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Ross was suspended through October seventeenth of this year for tampering. Okay,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I said tampering, not the claim of taking the games
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: that Brian Flores said they were doing. But no, he was.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: He was suspending for tampering. What he was doing was
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: trying to get Tom Brady to come play for the
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Miami Dolphins. I didn't have Sean Payton, who was the
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: head coach of the New Orleans Saints, come coach. So
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: that is what he was who. Yeah, he was working on.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Now that's a good that's a good starting man talking
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: to him. But he was suspended and he was find
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: two million dollars total. Um. You know, Brian Flores said,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: it's a shame that the whole investigation of taking was
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: minimized in this whole thing. But you know what, just
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: like you said, these NFL owners just do what they
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: want to do. Two million dollars, don't bother him. This
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: ain't telling them no lesson how to ask time again.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: But two me, well, you know they're not gonna and
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: they're not gonna allow the tanking to go on because
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: that discredits the shield and ruins the image of the league.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: So they're not gonna do that. They're not gonna say
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: nothing about it. Well, also, football is back to talk
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: about shield. They didn't beat that shield up. That shield
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: stronger than the one Captain America carry boy. You got
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: to shut up shield, bad man. Well football is back
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: to night. The NFL Hall of Fame game Jacksonville Jaguards
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: against the Las Vegas Raiders happening two nights, So football
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: will ain't nobody watching that? Ain't up? I'd have gonna
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: really watch it up. Don't nobody really even care? But
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: the Hall of Fame game, it's just it's just you know,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: it's all based around the Hall of Fame. But this
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: is what I have a problem with. Uncan let's just
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: get to this. It came out to Tiger Woods, was
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: offered seven hundred to eight hundred million to play on
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: the live golf circuit. Okay, I think what he did
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: he turned it down. Do you think that is admirable
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: that he turned down seven hundred to eight hundred meter
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you ride with the PGA, Yeah, okay, you got to
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: turn that down seven hundred to eight hundred meters. He
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: turned down, he got up a couple hundred millions. He
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: woods a billion billionaire. That's how you can walk away
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: from it. I'm not now, I'm over come on. I'm
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: doing Family Feud and Salty the radio show from Salty.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I'm golf commentating from Salty Miss Universe of being Salty Boy.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: What I said, I said, you turn on that leave
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: golf tournaments here. I'm not even taking golf carts. I'm
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: ride camel hold a whole all right, Junior, thank you,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: you're listening all right, Steve. So here's a discussion we
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: saw on Facebook. It was from Ben, one of our
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: white listeners. Ben wrote, since when is not lying a
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: bad thing? After seven years of marriage, my wife jumps
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: just up and decided she wanted to talk about our numbers.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: She blurted out that she was with six dudes before
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: me and is embarrassed because she thinks that's a lot.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: In my younger days, I was in several bands and
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: did more than my fair share of hooking up with
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: eager music lovers. Needless to say, she was mad when
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I refused to answer, and pissed when I finally said
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: I had no idea that it was easily over a hundred.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Now she says she doesn't even know me now. She
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: says she doesn't even know me. Yeah, he says. She
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: says she doesn't even know me now and is angry
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: that I didn't lie to her. What the hell is
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: there any fixing this? Dog? I don't. I don't even
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: know why you even got into that. I have told
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: you it is best to lie. I tell women that
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: women your number is three, fella, so said he have
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: gone like the ten just to make her feel good
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: about her. I wouldn't even I would gain no number.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: So you've never given a number your hell? No? Because
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: and I'm just going it's staggering, shocking, it's unthinkable. Is
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: this with money or without or both? Both don't matter?
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Oh it was some great no money days? Now what what?
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Don't hate something? Ain't let me tell you something. It's
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: no way, it's no way. So now the wife is
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: mad that he didn't lie to her, and he wants
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: to know can he fix this? What can he do? Dog?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I would just come up there and just say, baby, look,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: can I'll be honest with you? You know? Good? Here
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: where I ain't done with it? Are you gonna fix that.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I was just really trying to be man. I don't
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: even know why I said that, because it ain't even
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: close to that. I don't even know you. I don't know,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: and you're right, you don't you know? Well, who are
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: hold up? I just told y'a was in the band
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: on the road. Now, yeah, several bands. So you singing,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: then you go do it? People like that a lot
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: of music. They be pointing at you. What you want
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: me to do? I'll be playing me making eye contact.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: They be just looking at me, pointing at me. That's
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: all it takes. Who I had a long hell yeah long?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Then they all come up to me after the show.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: What I'm supposed to do? I want to know who
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: the hundred is? Alright? What? Well? Start with the age?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: You play a great alright? Thirty thirty of them is
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: your friends, yourself, one of them, I'm just you, I
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: can't hold it no more. One of them was your sister,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: but Anessa, uh, Tammy, Yeah, Tammy and Vanessa. Yeah, the twins,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the twins, and then and then you remember that night
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: your mama came to the show. Yeah, my mama. So seriously, Steve,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: tell Ben how he can fix it. He just had
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: to go back in there and say, I've just made
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: up a number, but I didn't think you take it
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: this far? Can he flip it back on her? About
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: the six? Let's talk about this six? Get off? I
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: know any one of these six? I bet not. No, No,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: don't do that. Don't don't try to flip it. No, Sun,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: don't flip it on the woman, because they brilliant. Are
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: we flipping? Now? Are we flipping? Okay, let's flip this trick.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: So Ben has to come up with another line to
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: cover up with the truth, to cover the truth that
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: he told her. Okay, that's what you get, all right.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up a
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to show you know, there is such a thing as
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: August blues. Now that we're in the month of August.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: So I got to ask you, do you have the
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: August blues? Well, if you do, you're not alone. It
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: seems August is a downer month for many people because
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: it signals that summer is ending. For some, that means
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: the end of summer fun. For others, it makes them
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: aware that summer is almost over, and they didn't go
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: on vacation or do any of the fun things that
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: they wanted to do all summer. Others are overwhelmed by
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: back to school, back to work, back to reality, scrambling
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: and scheduling. So the question is, does anybody have the
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: August blues? On this show? You guys kind of feeling
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: that a little bit. You're feeling good about this month.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: August is just like my November. So my ass is working. Yeah,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: some ain't over and I'm fit to go back to school. Hell,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I'm at work. Yeah, yeah, So you got the blues
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: because I'm grateful. Man, I'm working. I ain't got the blues.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I had the blues though, living in that car. My
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: ass had permanent blues back. But look at you now.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I'm so tired. I'm living out here. I'm so tired
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: of being scared. Won't you help me? Lord? Let me
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: leave somewhere. Coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: we'll play around. Would you rather? Right after this you're
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: listening to? All right, it is time now, guys for
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: a round up? Would you rather? Would you rather have
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: shark teeth or no teeth? Y'all? All of them on
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: top of each other, y'all. I'm nothing to do them, gums, man,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I'm nothing. Your mouth just raggedy, y'all, Steve oh Man
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: bragged ass teeth. Yeah, and I'm not being had no teeth,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you would look crazy, Steve, Wait a minute with these
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: big ass lip smile and nothing. Dog, you know how
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: big my mouth? Actually even take my teeth out of them? God, dog,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: that's a hell of whole boy. All right, Moving on
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: to would you rather marry the most attractive person you've
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: ever met? Or would you rather married the best cook
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: you've ever met? Oh? Most attractive? I'm not gonna sit there.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I can cook my damn self. I don't know I'm sitting.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: You can cook, but I can't stand and look at you.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: The most attractive thing about you? Come on a plate, man,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: This is beautiful presentation. Hey man, Hey, it would have
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: been crazy ass looking lady in your kitchen. You like
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: your food, don't you? My wife? Do say about my wife? Yeah?
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: He's your chicken. Man, it's delicious. Got some calm defender,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: come out here, gonna shut your mouth? Ask me nothing
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: else about her? Yeah? Better? And he asking questions about
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: your looks. Man, we would say she was rough looking.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: We got to make love with taking the bed. You
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: got to feed me for me to love you. Would
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you rather spend every weekend indoors or spend every weekend outdoors?
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Which one? Outdoors? Outdoors? That's simple? Yeah, doors, all right?
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Would you rather work the Yeah? Go ahead, all right?
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Last one? Would you rather work the job you have
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: now for a year at double your current rate of pay?
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Or have one year off with what you're making now?
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I hef with what I'm making now, I ain't got
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: to come in here and I get the same check
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: for a hawk to work for you and get double man,

- 1:19:14Speaker 1: rather thank you? Guys? Coming up at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: after the hour, our last break of the day and
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and at least Steve Harvey
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show? All right, guys,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day. Wow,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: it went by pretty quickly and it was a fun day.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Yeah Thursday. Thanks to all our listeners. Yeah to join
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: us every morning. We appreciate you so much, we really do.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: I'm not over your fast that bob, what are you
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: talking about oh over, No, I'm not. You want to
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: be the executor of his estate? Yes, And I don't
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: understand why I'm not that because I don't know. I'm
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the closest to you in our family. I'm closer to you.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: What what what Tommy what? I'm planning on being here
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: a long time And at the rate you're doing these planks,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I don't see you making it. You don't want to
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: be tied to that. Somebody gonna warm your way. I
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: tell you that I'm the best day ever, love, I'm
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: the best they've ever done it. And you feeling now
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: all right? Question, with all the things that you do,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you know, all your jobs and all that stuff, how
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: do you find time to for you for yourself and
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: to maintain your happiness and to you know, how do
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: you find time for all? You know what? It's it's
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: really really hard, and it's really it's a constantly constant
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: developing process because as busy as I am, I actually
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: have the nerve to add stuff to that. Yeah, you know, meetings, proposals,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: new opportunities, you know, travel, And so what I have
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: to do is I have to constantly evolve because as
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: as I as I keep moving my schedule around. I'm
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: getting older, yeah, and it's it's it's becoming more difficult
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: because the fast twitch muscles I used to have, they
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: don't twitch as fast no more, you know, So like
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I used to run up all the steps. Now you know,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I walk up the steps. You know, if you remember
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: when you just go down the steps when you was young,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: how fast you went down steps. I take my time
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: down each step. Now my son's come blowing by me
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: on the step. And so it's like even now I'm
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: having to redo my schedule for next year, and I
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: try to handle with with with as many projections as
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: I can, like like right now, I'm planning twenty twenty three.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I'm already planning twenty twenty three, my work schedule for
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. You know I'm not. That's that's how
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: you try to get ahead of it and go. So
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: that's basically it's very difficult. But I try to steal
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: moments every day for yourself. Don't but it's hard. I
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: have a question, So, when you're in a bad mood,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: who is there someone or something that can just instantly
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: make it better for you? Who is wise? We're just
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: asking him questions because in the closing remarks, because this
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: is my closing remarks, and instead of doing close remarks,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I sometimes do closing questions. And if you notice that
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: there's a there's a level of systems to these questions,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: they not fit to ask your ass because because the
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: people be really really wanting to answer. But you know,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: when I get in a mood, it's really I'm gonna
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: be honest with you, and this is a bad thing.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I really don't have anybody that I can call the
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: snap me out the bad mood I mean, and that's
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: that's real, not even my wife at times because because look,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: because if I call her to tell her what's wrong,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I'm now burdening her with it because we tied together.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: And one of my main things that I try not
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: to do is dump all the weight that's on me
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: onto her because heavy is the head that wears the crown.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: I happen to have the king crown on yes, sir,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: the queen crown is big enough. She got enough to
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: deal with. So I oftentimes can't go to her because
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: you know, I don't want to put what's on me
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: on her. And now instead of picking me up and
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: pepping me up, I got to relive it, explain it.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Probably gonna hear some stuff I don't want to heal. Yes,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: And so I prayer is really to bail out thing
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: for me. And then I have this wonderful gift that
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: I've been given and that I have the ability to
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: make myself laugh. And I tell audiences all the time,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: you got to laugh every day, but the average person
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: doesn't laugh every day. And what I found out, in
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: order to laugh every day, you're gonna have to start
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: laughing at some stuff you ain't post. And that's the key. Yeah,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: all right? Can I ask Steve? Can I ask your
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: nephew a question? He wants us to ask him a question?
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: You nephew, that's all you need. Go ahead. How does
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: it feel to be Steve's nephew? Man? There you go? There?
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: It's very challenging, very him him, It's emotional. It's a
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: lot on me. A lot of people don't know what it,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: what it takes to be this, what I've gone through. Well,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I don't know. You don't know my stripes. You don't
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: know my stripes. Ask me how I feel to be
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: his uncle? How quickly I can answer it in one word? Wow? Shame, shame,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: all right, you take us home on that note, yeah, shame,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: y'all have a great fake talk to God. For all
