- 1:47Speaker 3: Of the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come on, you'll think, Uh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now. One and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 2: radio show. I have something and it so describes how
- 2:15Speaker 2: I was living. It so captures the feelings that I
- 2:21Speaker 2: had about beginning on the pathway of my dreams. It
- 2:25Speaker 2: so describes how I felt when I was about to
- 2:31Speaker 2: attempt something. And I have some striking news for you.
- 2:35Speaker 2: It describes often how I feel still today to a degree.
- 2:40Speaker 2: So let me tell you what that is. Here's an
- 2:43Speaker 2: analogy that I've heard a couple of different ways, but
- 2:48Speaker 2: I've kind of, you know, fixed it around to where
- 2:50Speaker 2: I can drink it better, and I think it fits
- 2:54Speaker 2: my personality to describe it to people best this way.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I've talked often about the earth and see of doing
- 3:02Speaker 2: something with your life, of getting started today, of stopping
- 3:06Speaker 2: the procrastination and putting it off, and waiting on all
- 3:10Speaker 2: your ducks to line up in a row, and waiting
- 3:13Speaker 2: until the stars align themselves. If you're waiting on such
- 3:16Speaker 2: a thing, you're never gonna get started. I don't know
- 3:20Speaker 2: too many people who can say that all the ducks
- 3:23Speaker 2: just lined up in the row.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Things happen. Even when you get them lined up.
- 3:27Speaker 2: One of the ducks get out of line, or somebody
- 3:29Speaker 2: knock over the domino. Something happens. But here's the point
- 3:33Speaker 2: I'm getting at. God has so many blessings available to you.
- 3:43Speaker 6: You who's listening.
- 3:45Speaker 2: God has so many blessings available to you from where
- 3:50Speaker 2: you are right now. I don't care what you've gotten
- 3:54Speaker 2: yourself into or what you've done. God has so many
- 3:59Speaker 2: blessings that he can send your way. But you have
- 4:04Speaker 2: to do something. See a lot of people just sit
- 4:08Speaker 2: around and go man, I don't and something always happening
- 4:11Speaker 2: to you. You're always getting a break, You're always doing this.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You always man, no nothing come my way. Listen to me.
- 4:18Speaker 2: If nothing ever comes your way. You know why that is.
- 4:20Speaker 2: It's because you're not doing anything. I promise you you're not.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Here's a deal. God has all these blessings he wants
- 4:28Speaker 2: to send you, but you got to give him something
- 4:31Speaker 2: to work with. Now, come on, God will bless you.
- 4:35Speaker 2: God can touch people's hearts on your behalf. He can
- 4:38Speaker 2: move situations around for you. He can align the stars.
- 4:42Speaker 2: He can set the ducks up in the row. But
- 4:45Speaker 2: align the stars and move people around, and touch people's
- 4:48Speaker 2: hearts and set the ducks up in the row. For
- 4:50Speaker 2: what have you put forth any effort? Have you made
- 4:54Speaker 2: a single step in any direction to do the right
- 4:57Speaker 2: thing or go the right way? That give him something
- 5:00Speaker 2: to put his finger on. Come on, man, God can
- 5:05Speaker 2: only bless you according to your faith. If you have
- 5:09Speaker 2: a little bit of faith, give him that. Let him
- 5:11Speaker 2: work with that. You know, man, I didn't always start
- 5:14Speaker 2: with these speeches you hear in the morning. Now. I
- 5:16Speaker 2: ain't always had these. I grew to these. I stumbled
- 5:20Speaker 2: my way to these. I messed up my way to these.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Here I got it wrong so many times to be
- 5:27Speaker 2: able to sound like I got some sense, I've said
- 5:30Speaker 2: it often.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Failure is a wonderful teacher.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Do you know how many times I have had to
- 5:35Speaker 2: have failed to have what I have in my head today.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I'm telling you, man, it's a process. People get mad
- 5:43Speaker 2: at the process. You got to do something to give
- 5:46Speaker 2: God something to work with. He'll bless you. But what
- 5:49Speaker 2: you want me to bless If you ain't putting forth
- 5:51Speaker 2: any effort, you can get blessed from wherever you are
- 5:54Speaker 2: in your life, wherever your starting point is, wherever you
- 5:58Speaker 2: find yourself wound up, you can get it back from there.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 2: done it. I got over man. I learned some things
- 6:07Speaker 2: along the way. Because here's the deal. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 2: God keeps waking you up in the morning, he ain't
- 6:12Speaker 2: through with you yet. When he's done, you're done. But
- 6:15Speaker 2: if God still has a plan for you you wake
- 6:17Speaker 2: up in the morning, he still got some more work
- 6:20Speaker 2: for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 2: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 2: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 2: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 2: walk towards him a little bit.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Here's the deal.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I know it's hard for the average person to start
- 6:37Speaker 2: because the fear of the unknown is incredible. What if
- 6:40Speaker 2: I fail? What if I don't get picked. You know,
- 6:43Speaker 2: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 6:46Speaker 2: in to quit my job. Oh man, let me tell
- 6:49Speaker 2: you about that day when I decided that I was
- 6:52Speaker 2: gonna be a full time comedian after winning an amateur
- 6:55Speaker 2: night one time. Quitting your job following you going for
- 7:02Speaker 2: it despite all the nay says, it's like stepping off
- 7:05Speaker 2: a cliff. It's like actually just walking off the edge
- 7:09Speaker 2: of a cliff, hoping, hoping. Now not really knowing, but hoping.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I stepped off
- 7:23Speaker 2: that cliff hoping that my parachute would open and allow
- 7:29Speaker 2: me to drift down. See. I've never scott dived before,
- 7:33Speaker 2: but I would imagine part of the thrill. And I
- 7:35Speaker 2: don't know this because I'm not going to sCOD dive
- 7:38Speaker 2: to find out. I think part of the thrill for
- 7:42Speaker 2: people is the danger part of throwing yourself out a
- 7:46Speaker 2: plane and how it feels to be free falling, but
- 7:50Speaker 2: the whole time they're free falling, having this exhilarating, over
- 7:53Speaker 2: the top moment. You have got to believe in your
- 7:57Speaker 2: heart of hearts, you have got the hope with everything
- 8:01Speaker 2: in you that when you pull this cord the shoot
- 8:04Speaker 2: opens or else. This ain't a good move at all.
- 8:07Speaker 2: But you've packed your shoot yourself. You've taken the lessons,
- 8:11Speaker 2: so you go ahead and you make the leap. Now,
- 8:13Speaker 2: the only thing about quitting your job and following your
- 8:16Speaker 2: dream is you ain't really been trained all that good
- 8:19Speaker 2: for this. You done packed your shoot, but you ain't
- 8:21Speaker 2: never opened it before. So I walked off this cliff,
- 8:25Speaker 2: That's what it was like. And you following your dreamers
- 8:27Speaker 2: like you walking off a cliff. Here's the part where
- 8:30Speaker 2: people don't never make the jump. They see somebody like
- 8:34Speaker 2: myself who jumped off the cliff and the pas chute
- 8:37Speaker 2: don't open right away, and I hit a couple of
- 8:40Speaker 2: rocks on the way down.
- 8:42Speaker 6: I got my back cut up pretty bad.
- 8:44Speaker 2: They see that three years living in a car, man,
- 8:47Speaker 2: he got it life toe down jumping off that cliff.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I ain't jumping off that cliff. But see, what you
- 8:52Speaker 2: don't understand is you don't know it, but eventually the
- 8:57Speaker 2: shoot will open. I'm at the parachute opening part of
- 9:01Speaker 2: my life. Man were to shoot then open, and I'm
- 9:04Speaker 2: drifting and I'm able to guide my chute over to
- 9:08Speaker 2: Paris and glide. I've glided over the Africa and seen
- 9:12Speaker 2: what it looked like. It's a slow ride down. When
- 9:15Speaker 2: the Parasas chute finally opened and my back didn't heel
- 9:18Speaker 2: too and the cuts that I had on me, I
- 9:21Speaker 2: remember now. I know how to stay away from the edge.
- 9:23Speaker 2: But the Paris chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my
- 9:27Speaker 2: life for the first time. I'm gliding, but I got
- 9:30Speaker 2: hit up against the rock. I can see more. I
- 9:33Speaker 2: get a chance to see more things. I get to
- 9:35Speaker 2: glide and see more parts of the world. I'm living
- 9:38Speaker 2: my dream. Your parachute is going to open, but I'll
- 9:41Speaker 2: tell you one thing for show. It'll never open if
- 9:44Speaker 2: you don't step off that cliff. You got to step
- 9:46Speaker 2: off that cliff. God get the pasachute open for you.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But you got to jump, baby. That's the hard part,
- 9:52Speaker 2: ain't it now? Question is the end of this story
- 9:54Speaker 2: right here today when you jumping.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me have your
- 10:07Speaker 2: divided attention. That's another great day today. My Lord, my
- 10:12Speaker 2: God has done it again. He is truly amazing. Please
- 10:17Speaker 2: y'all form a relationship with God. I don't care where
- 10:20Speaker 2: you are. I don't care what your circumstances. I don't
- 10:23Speaker 2: care what predicament you find yourself in. God is on
- 10:27Speaker 2: call twenty four seven and he's available for you. You don't
- 10:32Speaker 2: have to suffer, you don't have to look. You can
- 10:36Speaker 2: get strength, guidance, comfort, all of it. With the relationship
- 10:41Speaker 2: with God. You can get all of that. It don't
- 10:44Speaker 2: make all your problems go away, but He showed give
- 10:46Speaker 2: you the way to cope with it and deal with it.
- 10:48Speaker 2: And that's all I need. I came to a realization
- 10:51Speaker 2: yesterday and I'm glad about it. I'm trying to just
- 10:56Speaker 2: be a better man all the way around the board.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Help me God, man, That's that's really good that I
- 11:02Speaker 2: can go to somebody like that. Put put put him
- 11:05Speaker 2: in your playbook, y'all. Put God in the playbook. He's good. Ladies, gentlemen,
- 11:09Speaker 2: Welcome to the ride. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Shirlotton Strawberry, Collin Parrell, Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the Legend
- 11:17Speaker 2: that is Nephew Thomas Jr. What's going on?
- 11:21Speaker 7: Man?
- 11:21Speaker 2: No, you're hurting the day, but go ahead. What's happening.
- 11:24Speaker 8: No, I'm good. Let me ask you this, what areas
- 11:28Speaker 8: do you think you have improved in your life?
- 11:30Speaker 2: And why?
- 11:31Speaker 8: Like the areas that you think you have gotten the
- 11:33Speaker 8: best at that you didn't always have?
- 11:37Speaker 2: What else I can give for the regular?
- 11:41Speaker 1: What you gotta filter it?
- 11:46Speaker 2: The one I wanted to fire off with wouldn't have
- 11:49Speaker 2: been good. Uh, it's so many, Junior. I can't think
- 11:53Speaker 2: of an area in my life that I haven't improved, though.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I just really, Uh, I think I'm more. Now, let
- 12:02Speaker 2: me not say that in front of this crew.
- 12:04Speaker 5: I'm more.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I can't say that I'm more because I've always been
- 12:08Speaker 2: that way. I've always been a compassionate person to other people.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Now I also have a side where I could care
- 12:15Speaker 2: less than you know.
- 12:20Speaker 6: If I if I over with this. Yeah, but uh,
- 12:25Speaker 6: but I've I've been that.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Uh you know what?
- 12:29Speaker 6: I have gotten better at?
- 12:31Speaker 9: What?
- 12:33Speaker 2: In my career? My closing remarks are better. Uh, they're
- 12:39Speaker 2: more uh directed. I think I've made it more of
- 12:44Speaker 2: a mission to be more purposeful in my closing remarks
- 12:49Speaker 2: to say stuff that's more beneficial. I try to say
- 12:52Speaker 2: stuff that's helpful and positive and engaging for people and encouraging.
- 12:58Speaker 2: That's what I try to be. I think i've done
- 13:01Speaker 2: better in that. You know, the financial part of it
- 13:04Speaker 2: is always I was watching Jim Gray and he asked
- 13:08Speaker 2: Floyd Mayweather and the other day he said, is why
- 13:12Speaker 2: is money so important to you? Floyd Mayweather said why not?
- 13:17Speaker 2: He said, you can't take your wife to dinner for free.
- 13:20Speaker 2: He said, you can't move in the house you in
- 13:23Speaker 2: without no money. So he said, that's why it's important.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And I just think that, you know, working to teach
- 13:31Speaker 2: other people how to accomplish that is a major goal.
- 13:34Speaker 2: So I feel good about those things.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:40Speaker 1: will hear from a nephew as he runs that brank back.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey everyone,

- 14:03Speaker 1: your immune response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like flu,

- 14:53Speaker 9: all right, I got the right person. Listen. I don't
- 14:56Speaker 9: I don't even know how to say this to you.
- 14:59Speaker 9: My Like I said, my name is Mark. I followed
- 15:02Speaker 9: my wife today and I right now I'm at a park,
- 15:07Speaker 9: and I'm almost certain that my wife is right now.
- 15:14Speaker 9: I'm about two or three hundred yards away, but I'm
- 15:17Speaker 9: almost certain my wife is holding hands with your husband, Jason.
- 15:24Speaker 9: So hold on, hold on?
- 15:25Speaker 10: What will you see my husband at the park with
- 15:27Speaker 10: your wife? How long have you been following them?
- 15:30Speaker 9: I followed my wife this morning because I just was stelling,
- 15:33Speaker 9: like real weird about you know, something going on. And
- 15:37Speaker 9: I followed her and I'm at the park right now
- 15:40Speaker 9: and you know this. I think this is I think
- 15:44Speaker 9: she's with Jason. I think she's with your husband. What type?
- 15:47Speaker 10: What type of car? You do you see Jason? Then
- 15:50Speaker 10: alexis what color is it?
- 15:54Speaker 9: White?
- 15:55Speaker 10: Okay? That's him. So he's okay with to work today
- 15:58Speaker 10: and this Sunday and they had some over the time
- 16:00Speaker 10: that he's supposed to been doing that work today. And
- 16:02Speaker 10: he's at a part with your wife close to him.
- 16:05Speaker 9: So I'm not close to him, you know, I try
- 16:08Speaker 9: to stay back. Oh wait wait wait wait wait wait wait,
- 16:11Speaker 9: hold up, she just kissed him?
- 16:13Speaker 10: She did? Kids? Who she did?
- 16:15Speaker 9: My wife just kissed your husband?
- 16:16Speaker 10: What did you say your wife? Your wife's name is again?
- 16:19Speaker 9: My wife name is Veronica?
- 16:20Speaker 10: Veronica? Okay, what part?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Dad?
- 16:24Speaker 9: Uh? They are Langley Park. I'm at Langley Park right now.
- 16:27Speaker 9: I'm about two hundred yards away from them, and I'm
- 16:31Speaker 9: looking at she just kissed him. A can I cannot
- 16:33Speaker 9: believe this or not?
- 16:35Speaker 10: I know, Well, you're not telling me that your your
- 16:37Speaker 10: wife is kissing my husband. Well, how did you get
- 16:40Speaker 10: my number? That's hold up? Back it up? How did
- 16:43Speaker 10: you get my number? Who are you?

- 17:04Speaker 9: All I know is your husband is kissing my wife
- 17:07Speaker 9: right now. That's what I know.
- 17:09Speaker 10: Okay, you just sitting there watching and giving me the no.

- 17:16Speaker 10: call it up because I don't play that. Because he
- 17:18Speaker 10: said he had to work this morning. Some of the

- 25:03Speaker 1: twisted like that before. But he's he's trying to convince
- 25:06Speaker 1: me that I have God. Why does he think I'm
- 25:10Speaker 1: dumb enough to fall for that?
- 25:12Speaker 3: Got his positions?
- 25:14Speaker 2: God?
- 25:15Speaker 8: That's what.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Was he going to get out of that one? Mister Harvey,

- 25:51Speaker 2: did you like it?
- 25:54Speaker 1: That's your comeback.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I have to say. What did you
- 25:58Speaker 2: like it? Because I have imagined us doing this and
- 26:03Speaker 2: in my mind I just saw it being all that
- 26:05Speaker 2: for you, and so I just soon but did you
- 26:09Speaker 2: like it? Though? If you don't like it, we ain't gonna.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Do it no more?
- 26:11Speaker 11: Okay, all right?
- 26:13Speaker 1: That kind of works, although she knows that, you know

- 26:19Speaker 2: All I need for you to do right there, She'll say,
- 26:21Speaker 2: you know that could work. That's all I need.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Could work. All I see.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Listen to me when you lie. All the lie has
- 26:29Speaker 2: to do is calls reasonable doubt. That's all I need.
- 26:36Speaker 2: He's a lawyer to order, and that's all I need,
- 26:42Speaker 2: reasonable doubt.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Okay, all right?
- 26:45Speaker 2: He said I want my rag bag.
- 26:49Speaker 1: That you should have had a song for that one.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Jilani and Norcross, all right. Moving on to Laney and Natha's.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Laney writes, my ten year old son has girl calling
- 27:00Speaker 1: him on my phone because I don't allow him to
- 27:03Speaker 1: use his phone during the week He told me that
- 27:06Speaker 1: I am ruining his social life.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah, hell yeah, how weak you are ruining.
- 27:14Speaker 1: My social life?
- 27:15Speaker 9: Here?

- 27:19Speaker 2: Yes, you should, because he do, and he cares about
- 27:22Speaker 2: his social life so much. Says I can't use my phone.

- 28:32Speaker 9: Little girl?

- 29:09Speaker 1: I would clue that team.
- 29:11Speaker 2: I ain't know you liked me.
- 29:13Speaker 1: You didn't have game like this little boy. Oh no,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I say, when the girl hit you, she liked you.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I didn't know me, all right?
- 29:25Speaker 1: Last one, Steve. This is from Travis and Lake. Charles.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Travis writes, I tried to stop dating my current girlfriend,
- 29:33Speaker 1: and she showed up at my job acting up. I
- 29:38Speaker 1: feel like that's the only reason I took her back.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I like her a lot, but not her ghetto behavior.
- 29:43Speaker 1: She's twenty nine and too old to act like that.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Should I give her another try?
- 29:48Speaker 6: That's what If you don't give her another try, she's
- 29:51Speaker 6: coming back down there.
- 29:51Speaker 2: To your job. How you want just to go? So
- 29:55Speaker 2: she'd told you what time you're not leaving me?
- 30:00Speaker 13: And the best man I've ever known, that little way
- 30:13Speaker 13: up could ever no, no.
- 30:17Speaker 1: No, no, wait, all right, we're gonna switch gears here
- 30:22Speaker 1: and talk about a shocking story out of Cleveland, Mississippi
- 30:25Speaker 1: at Delta State University, which is a predominantly white university.
- 30:29Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 30:33Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, this story is unbelievable
- 30:41Speaker 1: coming out of Cleveland, very shocking Cleveland, Mississippi at Delta
- 30:44Speaker 1: State University, it's a predominantly white university. This is where
- 30:49Speaker 1: a twenty one year old black student identified as Trey
- 30:52Speaker 1: Reid was found hanging from a tree in the central
- 30:57Speaker 1: part of the campus. You heard me right. The campus
- 31:00Speaker 1: was shut down on Monday to begin the investigation into
- 31:03Speaker 1: the death, which so far get this has been deemed
- 31:08Speaker 1: a suicide. Excuse me, Yeah, that's also shocking.
- 31:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 31:14Speaker 1: In a press conference, a county coroner stated that the
- 31:17Speaker 1: investigation is ongoing, but there are no indications of foul
- 31:21Speaker 1: play in Reed's death. The corner addressed rumors that circulated
- 31:26Speaker 1: on social media that Reed's legs and arms were broken.
- 31:30Speaker 1: He said he and his colleague, the deputy corner, saw
- 31:33Speaker 1: quote no evidence of broken limbs. Delta State is a
- 31:36Speaker 1: public university with a fifty two percent white students for
- 31:41Speaker 1: ratio and thirty six percent black. We will be following
- 31:44Speaker 1: this story closely, this Mississippi.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Well, here's the deal. There is so many canvas everywhere. Nowadays,
- 31:54Speaker 2: they got ways of backtracking everything. If anybody was near
- 32:00Speaker 2: that tree, walking towards that tree, rope, anything, it's on
- 32:05Speaker 2: camera somewhere. And then with social media the way it
- 32:08Speaker 2: is today, somebody gonna say something and it will all
- 32:12Speaker 2: come out.
- 32:13Speaker 7: It has to.
- 32:15Speaker 2: But now what we have to make sure is and
- 32:18Speaker 2: the and the people in that community have to make
- 32:20Speaker 2: sure is that they are on top of them, that
- 32:23Speaker 2: they don't just let this go up under the rug,
- 32:26Speaker 2: because you know, the corner can say it's a suicide,
- 32:29Speaker 2: and it could be, and it could be because social
- 32:32Speaker 2: media that already ran with it in so many different directions.
- 32:35Speaker 2: But one thing about it, if they want to know
- 32:39Speaker 2: the truth, they can get a tradu. You can't do
- 32:41Speaker 2: nothing like that nowadays. At a central part of a university,
- 32:45Speaker 2: young people, social media technology. Somebody saw somebody walking, someboy
- 32:52Speaker 2: with somebody, and then and and and and then that'll
- 32:56Speaker 2: get to the truth of it. But you can't. You
- 32:58Speaker 2: can't let it go up under the rug.
- 32:59Speaker 1: No, that's right, that's right. That's the community has to
- 33:02Speaker 1: support the family. The family I'm sure has sign.
- 33:05Speaker 2: And another thing.
- 33:06Speaker 6: Yeah, public hanging is not a real choice for suicide.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Oh what I know? No, absolutely not. Yeah, we're going
- 33:18Speaker 1: to be following this story. We'll keep you posting for
- 33:21Speaker 1: sure on this story. Wow. All right, guys and switching
- 33:27Speaker 1: gears now again. In case you guys have been living
- 33:30Speaker 1: under a rock. Comedian and actress Monique has had a
- 33:33Speaker 1: decade long fight with Tyler Perry. That's fight started after
- 33:37Speaker 1: the filming of the movie Precious. After that was all done,
- 33:40Speaker 1: she's spoken out numerous times, claiming she's been blackballed for
- 33:44Speaker 1: not promoting the movie. So now here we are yet again,
- 33:48Speaker 1: and Monique has mentioned Tyler Perry and Oprah on her
- 33:51Speaker 1: live video, claiming that she will never let that beef go.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Monique said, quote, so for me, my babies, I won't
- 33:57Speaker 1: let it go. That doesn't mean I'm I'm not angry.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I'm not. Just so we're clear, I'm not. She explained
- 34:05Speaker 1: that the let it go mentality dates back to slavery
- 34:09Speaker 1: and that's why we as black people keep getting treated
- 34:12Speaker 1: the way we're treated. The video then took a really
- 34:15Speaker 1: nasty turn when Monique said quote, I love my brother
- 34:19Speaker 1: and sister, or my sister and sister, whatever day Tyler chooses. Yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 1: whichever way he goes, I love them. However, wrong is
- 34:28Speaker 1: wrong and right is right. End quote. But here's a question.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Did you guys catch the shade in that statement though?
- 34:34Speaker 1: Did you catch yeah? Right away? Yeah, come on, yeah,
- 34:38Speaker 1: I love my brother and sister or my sister and sister.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:42Speaker 1: A lot of commenters on the video Steve were in
- 34:44Speaker 1: support of Monique and her stance. I'm never letting it
- 34:47Speaker 1: go while you know, others countless of this beg Monique,
- 34:50Speaker 1: just please let it go Monique and stop throwing shade.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Well, you know, listen, if you're feeding the narrative, you're
- 35:00Speaker 2: supporting this, you're not helping this sister. You're just not
- 35:04Speaker 2: helping this sister. And I wish nothing but the best
- 35:08Speaker 2: for Monique, because, man, let me tell you something. In
- 35:12Speaker 2: Monique's prime, it was Monique a Dale Givings and Samora
- 35:18Speaker 2: them girls right there, man, Samora whatever, you know, them
- 35:24Speaker 2: girls right there? They was wicked. Man. I'm talking about funny, funny, funny,
- 35:31Speaker 2: And I missed that from Monique. I missed the comedian Monique.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Now however you feel about it. At the end of
- 35:40Speaker 2: the day, all of us and it has nothing to
- 35:44Speaker 2: do with slavery, nothing at all. Forgiveness. We're not talking
- 35:47Speaker 2: about slave We're not talking about an atrocity against mankind.
- 35:52Speaker 2: We're not talking about four hundred years of racism, bigotry,
- 35:57Speaker 2: enslave min That's not what we're talking about here, talking
- 36:00Speaker 2: about an incident between a few human beings. If you
- 36:06Speaker 2: don't forgive or let go, you damage yourself and people.
- 36:13Speaker 6: You have to understand that. So while you're buying into
- 36:15Speaker 6: the narrative, I hear you, I hear you.
- 36:17Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 36:18Speaker 6: That doesn't help this system. It really really doesn't.
- 36:21Speaker 2: And like I said, I wish Monique nothing but the
- 36:24Speaker 2: best man, because man, we were really really cool and
- 36:27Speaker 2: Monique at her peak. Boy who that girl was? Lord
- 36:30Speaker 2: have mercy. Oh I saw a small glimpse of it
- 36:33Speaker 2: when she was on the shay Shape Club. Shayshape. You
- 36:37Speaker 2: need a big old growing over. You know that was
- 36:41Speaker 2: vintage Monique. But listen, man, if you live in the past,
- 36:48Speaker 2: that's where you'll remain. Cannot live in the darkness of
- 36:51Speaker 2: your past and expect to ever see the brightness of
- 36:55Speaker 2: your future, and I don't care who you are, all right,
- 36:58Speaker 2: And that's the message people need to get from this man.
- 37:01Speaker 6: Coming in, I pray for Monique man, I really really do.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Coming up. At thirty four minutes after the hour, Neo
- 37:08Speaker 1: back in the news, he revealed that he had a
- 37:10Speaker 1: special mattress made for his polyamorous relationship. We'll talk about
- 37:15Speaker 1: it right after this.
- 37:16Speaker 3: That nasty mattress right there.

- 37:57Speaker 1: In a recent live stream on YouTube tube, Neo revealed
- 38:02Speaker 1: that he had a special mattress made for him and
- 38:05Speaker 1: his four girlfriends. Neo called it a custom Alaskan king
- 38:09Speaker 1: sized bed and it's equivalent to having two California king
- 38:13Speaker 1: sized mattresses next to each other, so he had that
- 38:16Speaker 1: specially made. He lovingly referred to his four girlfriends as

- 38:55Speaker 1: I have four beautiful ladies that move with me on
- 38:57Speaker 1: a regular Neo has his four girl friends and they
- 39:01Speaker 1: have been inseparable in its polyamorous relationships since Marty.
- 39:05Speaker 2: He say the name of that mattress again, because maybe
- 39:08Speaker 2: I heard it wrong.
- 39:08Speaker 1: What's the name of the he got a custom Alaskan
- 39:11Speaker 1: king sized bed?
- 39:13Speaker 7: Oh?
- 39:13Speaker 2: Alaskan? Yeah, I thought you said elastic. I was saying,
- 39:17Speaker 2: he's got a mattress with extra plastic on it. People
- 39:21Speaker 2: in there, you got some plastic no matter what you

- 39:53Speaker 1: want those to go to waste. Two California King sized mattresses.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Clean all that messing you feel for the cleaning lady.
- 40:02Speaker 3: You got to clean this mess up.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Well, I tell you one thing, Noo, if you make
- 40:06Speaker 2: that bed up, you're gonna have to step up on
- 40:08Speaker 2: it to make it up because you ain't gonna be
- 40:09Speaker 2: to pull them covers up right, You got you gotta
- 40:12Speaker 2: learn how to make this bed up from the pillows down?
- 40:15Speaker 1: Where do you get the bedding? Where do you get
- 40:16Speaker 1: these comforters?
- 40:18Speaker 2: You just everybody got their own blanket.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Oh, there was five blankets on one big watch.
- 40:26Speaker 8: If you in the middle of that bed, he got
- 40:27Speaker 8: to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night,
- 40:29Speaker 8: all that slide.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Excuse me, Phoenix, excuse me, Phoenie. Can't just watch the baby,
- 40:33Speaker 1: I got to go. He might not make it. Baby,
- 40:40Speaker 1: he got to slide forever.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Hold on. Watch Pep Pill Popper, you know one of
- 40:49Speaker 2: the names they watched self Section. Come over there, hey,
- 40:56Speaker 2: Vanilla Ice, get out the way.
- 41:02Speaker 1: This is all right, telling him with thirty four minutes after.
- 41:06Speaker 6: Why did you tell me you had a company tonight?
- 41:08Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Here's the question. Can love exist in a relationship without
- 41:14Speaker 1: financial stability? That's what we'll talk about right after this.
- 41:19Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So, guys,
- 41:27Speaker 1: this question was on baller Alert earlier this month, and
- 41:31Speaker 1: it caused a stir in the comment This also was
- 41:34Speaker 1: a topic on your show, Tommy Ready to Love Philly,
- 41:37Speaker 1: where one of the men admitted that he was not
- 41:41Speaker 1: financially stable. Okay, he didn't own a car, he didn't
- 41:44Speaker 1: have a home, he didn't have an apartment, but by
- 41:48Speaker 1: the same token, he was ready to love. The female
- 41:51Speaker 1: that he connected with on the show was honest with
- 41:54Speaker 1: him and said she was starting to really like him,
- 41:57Speaker 1: but she had to reconsider based on what he told her.
- 42:01Speaker 1: So here here's the thing. What are your thoughts? Can
- 42:05Speaker 1: love really exist without that financial stability?
- 42:09Speaker 9: Can it.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Well, I know the name of the show is Ready
- 42:12Speaker 2: to Love. But if you don't have a car, you
- 42:16Speaker 2: don't have a job, and you don't have an apartment,
- 42:20Speaker 2: what happens? Will we ready to go somewhere?
- 42:25Speaker 1: That's another show. That's another show.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Yes, that's going to be a new show. I'm gonna
- 42:30Speaker 2: come up with ready what if we ready to go somewhere?
- 42:35Speaker 1: But wait a minute, Steve Tommy was transparent on this show.
- 42:41Speaker 1: He shared with them that when he and his wife
- 42:44Speaker 1: Jackieats first got together, he didn't have anything. He didn't
- 42:48Speaker 1: have anything. So Tommy, that was a raw moment for
- 42:51Speaker 1: that was really yeah.
- 42:53Speaker 2: I know what I read.
- 42:54Speaker 3: I read some of the comments, and you know, I
- 42:57Speaker 3: was what in my late twenties then in or man,
- 43:00Speaker 3: the late twenties. These these ladies are commenting saying, this
- 43:04Speaker 3: brother forty something years old. So Tommy, it's a little
- 43:07Speaker 3: different one from where you were.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And you no, I saw that clip, Tommy, was that
- 43:12Speaker 2: the guy with the short salt and pepper hat. Yeah,
- 43:16Speaker 2: kind of muscular dude thissco. Wait a minute, man, he
- 43:21Speaker 2: ain't got nothing. Well, he done on hard time, but
- 43:25Speaker 2: he is he done on hard time?
- 43:27Speaker 1: He was honest.
- 43:29Speaker 3: He could have lied through the whole show, through the
- 43:32Speaker 3: whole journey.
- 43:34Speaker 2: He could have lied, but he didn't. Well what did
- 43:37Speaker 2: he put on y'all's application?
- 43:39Speaker 3: Though I like Cisco, I'm sorry, I'm not going with
- 43:48Speaker 3: Donna Rabbits.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Everybody likes him. He's a likable guy.
- 43:51Speaker 2: He really I looked at him too. Man, he got
- 43:53Speaker 2: emotional because I saw that clip. You actually talked about
- 43:56Speaker 2: how you got and you said something.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Man.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Then the girl got him, went on there and hugg him.
- 44:01Speaker 2: But that was a good bye hood though.
- 44:03Speaker 1: That was he chose her, she chose him. Alert.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I was Cisco. I didn't have nothing. I didn't
- 44:19Speaker 2: I stayed with a woman.
- 44:20Speaker 8: And I can tell you right now it be a
- 44:21Speaker 8: lot of questions when you come in. You're right today,
- 44:24Speaker 8: Hell now, okay, I ain't gonna talk no more.
- 44:26Speaker 3: So does finance really block romance?
- 44:30Speaker 7: Does it?
- 44:30Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 44:31Speaker 9: Love? Yeah?
- 44:33Speaker 4: Five?
- 44:34Speaker 1: Sure, yes, Yeah, I'm gonna.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Say this right here. You can love a person that
- 44:41Speaker 2: don't have a lot going on in hopes of loving
- 44:45Speaker 2: them into motivating them. And you could get with somebody.
- 44:49Speaker 2: You you can build a man up. You could be
- 44:51Speaker 2: the missing part. But but if it continues you're not
- 44:56Speaker 2: gonna like them. You're not gonna like him though.
- 44:58Speaker 1: So okay, so is there a limit to that then?
- 45:01Speaker 1: I mean, do you give them a time? Okay, six
- 45:03Speaker 1: months job or we're breaking up?
- 45:05Speaker 3: Let's started like yeah, I like that shirtar But Steve,
- 45:08Speaker 3: look at it like this, no car, no place to stay,
- 45:11Speaker 3: no job, gotta have all three yet to understand what
- 45:13Speaker 3: we're looking at, all three of them?
- 45:15Speaker 1: What happened?
- 45:18Speaker 3: That's what you want to know?
- 45:19Speaker 2: Yeah, of course you know. Look, I mean, look, bro,
- 45:23Speaker 2: because we had to make some decisions, you know what,
- 45:27Speaker 2: you know what, I'm tired of going to work. I'm
- 45:32Speaker 2: gonna go down here and quit my job.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Can you be serious for one second?
- 45:37Speaker 2: I'm dead serious.
- 45:38Speaker 1: We're trying to figure this out.
- 45:41Speaker 2: But if you and your farties and you had all
- 45:43Speaker 2: that stuff and you fell on hard times, what was
- 45:46Speaker 2: a decision you made that got you here? And then
- 45:49Speaker 2: a woman can work.
- 45:50Speaker 1: With that sometimes divorced Steve. Sometimes, Yeah, if.
- 45:54Speaker 2: The voice wipes you out, then say that I can
- 45:56Speaker 2: help you build it back up. But now if you
- 46:00Speaker 2: just don't sit over here and cry, well, what I'm
- 46:03Speaker 2: not gonna do is hold you.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I don't think coming up next, the Nephew with today's
- 46:08Speaker 1: prank phone call.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Right after this, somebody's sleeping.
- 46:19Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 46:26Speaker 1: at about four minutes after the hour. It's my Strawberry
- 46:29Speaker 1: letter for today, and the subject is who's been filling
- 46:33Speaker 1: up her tank? We will get into that and find
- 46:36Speaker 1: out what that's all about in just a few Who's
- 46:38Speaker 1: been filling up her tank? But right now it is
- 46:41Speaker 1: the nephwik.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Talking about.
- 46:44Speaker 9: The car.
- 46:45Speaker 3: The car, okay, melling.
- 46:49Speaker 1: This, Yeah, Tommy's here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:52Speaker 2: What you got for?
- 46:53Speaker 3: I want you to be a special guest on Ready
- 46:55Speaker 3: to Love my next season. That y'all ought to have
- 46:58Speaker 3: me in there, man, because I could have fixed that
- 46:59Speaker 3: episode for you. Hey, hey, stop all this crying dog.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Let me ask you a couple of questions. Okay, here's
- 47:09Speaker 3: the prank, y'all. This one right here is he left
- 47:13Speaker 3: his drawers.
- 47:14Speaker 9: He left.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Left them where where he left? Where he left he
- 47:22Speaker 3: left his drum. People be lave that draws all the time,
- 47:24Speaker 3: called it. Don't get in here this act. Brandon, y'all
- 47:29Speaker 3: never left y'all draw Come on, y'all ain't never been
- 47:33Speaker 3: in a hurry and left your under where.
- 47:34Speaker 1: El Junior Steve, Yeah, oh.
- 47:38Speaker 2: I didn't left. I didn't left. Oh yeah, yeah, I
- 47:41Speaker 2: don't put some draws, Yeah in the garbage. Well, they
- 47:46Speaker 2: can't come to the house, ain't not with all that
- 47:52Speaker 2: glit on him. It's no way, it's no way. I
- 47:56Speaker 2: couldn't shake the glit off them draws. He make it.
- 48:01Speaker 2: I didn't done it.
- 48:02Speaker 3: I didn't left for me to put him back on.
- 48:08Speaker 2: And it's hard to explain rip draws, especially if they
- 48:10Speaker 2: Tommy John underwear.
- 48:14Speaker 9: So you.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Yeah, right, you explain that to your wife?
- 48:19Speaker 2: How you explain what?
- 48:22Speaker 7: What?
- 48:22Speaker 4: Why?
- 48:22Speaker 1: You don't have any underwear when.
- 48:26Speaker 2: I left the house, when you left this?
- 48:29Speaker 1: Yeah, now you always wear them.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I had to go to the bathroom and work, okay, okay,
- 48:42Speaker 2: And when I pulled my pants down to sit on
- 48:44Speaker 2: the toilet, okay, I peed in them a little bit, okay.
- 48:51Speaker 2: So I didn't want to put them them wet draws
- 48:53Speaker 2: back on, so I took them off. And then when
- 48:56Speaker 2: I took them off it worked. I just said I
- 48:59Speaker 2: was that up there at the County. Then they fell
- 49:01Speaker 2: on the floor while I was washing my hand, and
- 49:04Speaker 2: you know how nasty them bathrooms. Is I'm not wearing
- 49:07Speaker 2: this underwear no more. I threw them things in the trash.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I'm not finna wear. That's how you do it.
- 49:13Speaker 1: That's a lie right there.
- 49:14Speaker 3: I just wouldn't take my pants off until she went
- 49:17Speaker 3: to sleep.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I just have to wait. I'm just gonna keep these
- 49:19Speaker 2: payings on. I got him. We're not finna tell the
- 49:24Speaker 2: truth though.
- 49:26Speaker 1: No, you can't tell the truth. You can't.
- 49:30Speaker 2: You can't, you can't.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Let's go, let's go. He left his drawers.
- 49:37Speaker 7: Come on hello, Uh yes, mister, hey, this is the

- 49:54Speaker 10: No, no, no, sir, I'm not a who mister.
- 49:58Speaker 7: I'm sorry, you said, and he wants he buzzed up. Supposedly,
- 50:03Speaker 7: he left some articles in the room or in your
- 50:06Speaker 7: unit a couple of days ago. And I was out
- 50:10Speaker 7: of town a couple of days ago. What day are
- 50:11Speaker 7: we talking about?
- 50:12Speaker 10: Uh so, what day is what you actually?
- 50:14Speaker 9: He said? Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- 50:18Speaker 7: He was there all three days. You guys let him
- 50:22Speaker 7: into my apartment for three days he was in my place. No,
- 50:25Speaker 7: MISTERI we don't let anybody in and let someone in
- 50:28Speaker 7: the unit allow them to be buzzed up. That's the
- 50:30Speaker 7: rules here of the building. So we definitely didn't do
- 50:33Speaker 7: anything of her.
- 50:34Speaker 10: Who let him in?
- 50:35Speaker 9: Who buzzed him?
- 50:35Speaker 7: Indy, sir, I hate to say it, but I'm assuming
- 50:38Speaker 7: your wife must to buzz him up. You mean my
- 50:41Speaker 7: wife was not there three days ago. She was on
- 50:42Speaker 7: a business trip. She was not at the apartment three
- 50:45Speaker 7: days ago.
- 50:46Speaker 9: No, sir, your wife was here. I've actually seen your

- 51:20Speaker 7: way you saying I don't want to put this guy
- 51:21Speaker 7: on the phone. Mark if you want to keep your
- 51:24Speaker 7: job at the building. You're gonna put him on the
- 51:26Speaker 7: phone now, this is sir.
- 51:30Speaker 9: Sorry, miss he's actually leaving out of the building. Now,
- 51:33Speaker 9: he's do that leave, he's walking. I don't know putting
- 51:38Speaker 9: him on the phone.
- 51:38Speaker 7: What is your problem? You got videos to vailiens, right,
- 51:43Speaker 7: you got video footage of everybody that comes in and
- 51:45Speaker 7: out of the building, right, yes, sir, but you know,
- 51:48Speaker 7: if nothing occurs, we I think we should have footage
- 51:52Speaker 7: that goes back at least two weeks, so we should
- 51:53Speaker 7: be able to pull.
- 51:54Speaker 9: Some things out for you.
- 51:55Speaker 7: Sir. Yeah, I'm gonna need you to get that, and
- 51:57Speaker 7: I need to hit over to me right now. I'm

- 53:04Speaker 10: You don't forget him what you're taking and.
- 53:06Speaker 9: Taking out on me and what you should be saying
- 53:08Speaker 9: to your wife.
- 53:09Speaker 7: Somebody has got to dress up all the time and
- 53:11Speaker 7: always buzzing.
- 53:12Speaker 9: Somebody up to the room when your guard.
- 53:14Speaker 7: That's what shows me to put the door man, mister
- 53:18Speaker 7: you you you know you know what. I'm the only
- 53:21Speaker 7: around here busting my take care. Damn man, I'm over.

- 53:28Speaker 9: Job. Well, you might be handling you man, whatever the dinner.
- 53:31Speaker 7: You're not.
- 53:31Speaker 9: You're not handling your business at home. That's why she

- 56:53Speaker 2: That's all he got.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject who's been filling up her tank?
- 57:01Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for a little over
- 57:04Speaker 1: a year and my wife came home with a full
- 57:07Speaker 1: tank of gas and her car had been washed. I
- 57:10Speaker 1: noticed that I haven't had to put gas in her
- 57:12Speaker 1: car for a while, so I decided to watch how
- 57:15Speaker 1: she was moving. It's been a full month and she
- 57:18Speaker 1: hasn't asked me to get her any gas. She drives
- 57:22Speaker 1: fifteen miles to work in back daily, so I knew
- 57:25Speaker 1: something was up. Like a big dummy, I drove to
- 57:28Speaker 1: her job to see what was going on. Before I went,
- 57:31Speaker 1: I checked her gas level that morning and she was
- 57:34Speaker 1: right at a fourth of a tank when she usually
- 57:37Speaker 1: tells me she needs gas. I sat in the parking
- 57:40Speaker 1: lot and around four thirty pm, her car comes rolling
- 57:43Speaker 1: in with a man driving it. He parked it in
- 57:47Speaker 1: a reserve parking spot and a car picked him up.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I called my wife and said that I noticed that
- 57:53Speaker 1: her gas was low that morning and asked if she
- 57:55Speaker 1: needed me to come to her job and gas up
- 57:58Speaker 1: her car. She said she didn't want me to d
- 58:00Speaker 1: I have all the way out there because she could
- 58:01Speaker 1: make it home. I waited until she got off work,
- 58:04Speaker 1: and she came out and got in her car, and
- 58:06Speaker 1: she drove straight home. I got home a few minutes
- 58:09Speaker 1: after her, and I told her I was going to
- 58:12Speaker 1: put gas in her car. She lied and said she
- 58:15Speaker 1: stopped on the way home and filled her car up.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I commented on her car being clean inside and out,
- 58:21Speaker 1: and she said she took it to be cleaned three
- 58:25Speaker 1: days ago by her job, and she said that she
- 58:28Speaker 1: couldn't remember the name of the car wash. I knew
- 58:31Speaker 1: some companies provide a gym membership for their employees. So
- 58:34Speaker 1: does her job provide free gas and car washes? Or
- 58:38Speaker 1: is another man taking care of her needs? Is it
- 58:41Speaker 1: cool to tell her that I drove to her job
- 58:44Speaker 1: and I know she's been lying?
- 58:46Speaker 7: Is it cool?
- 58:47Speaker 1: This is your wife? What are you talking about? You
- 58:50Speaker 1: ask a lot of questions at the end of this letter.
- 58:53Speaker 1: It's great to ask questions, of course, but you should
- 58:56Speaker 1: be asking your wife these same questions that you just
- 58:58Speaker 1: asked Steve and I, and you should ask her way
- 59:01Speaker 1: before this. Why didn't you ask the guy who was
- 59:05Speaker 1: driving your wife's car? Why didn't you stop him and
- 59:08Speaker 1: talk to him. I can't believe you just stood by
- 59:11Speaker 1: and watched another man come pull up in your wife's car.
- 59:14Speaker 1: What I don't get it. So to your question about
- 59:18Speaker 1: is it cool to tell her that you drove to
- 59:20Speaker 1: her a job and you know she's been lying? It
- 59:22Speaker 1: doesn't matter if it's cool or not. Ask her, tell
- 59:25Speaker 1: her whatever you need to do to get at the truth.
- 59:28Speaker 1: She's gonna have to come clean at some point when
- 59:31Speaker 1: you tell her you saw this guide driving her car,
- 59:34Speaker 1: You saw him right. I don't know any husband on
- 59:37Speaker 1: earth who would be okay with this, not one, but anyway,
- 59:41Speaker 1: to me. The bottom line is, no matter what she said,
- 59:44Speaker 1: she's lied to you on several occasions. Do you honestly
- 59:46Speaker 1: think it's going to make a difference this time? Your
- 59:49Speaker 1: marriage is in trouble, sir. This is an urgent problem,
- 59:53Speaker 1: and it's too soon to be having these kinds of
- 59:55Speaker 1: problems anyway. You guys are still in the honeymoon stage.
- 59:58Speaker 1: You should be. You haven't been married but over a year.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Talk to her about it today or you're gonna be
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: filing for divorce tomorrow.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Steve, I don't.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: I don't understand this letter. Who's been filling up her tank?
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: The guy?
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Whoever the guy is?
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: You know, you've been married a little over a year
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: and my wife came home with a full tank of
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: gas in the copy in Washington. You ain't had to
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: put no car in the gas for a while, so
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: you decided to watch to see how she was moving.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: And been a month and she ain't asked you to
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: get no drive. Job is fifteen miles away one way,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: So then you said, like a big gummy, I drove
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: jobs see what was going on. But before you went,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: you checked her gas level. She had a quart of
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: a tank. You sat in the parking lot, and at
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: around four point thirty, her car comes rolling in with
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: a man driving it. He parked it in her reserve
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: parking spot and a car picked him up. Then you
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: call your wife and said, I noticed that your gas
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: was low running this morning. She needed me to come
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: to a job gas up her car. She said, she
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: didn't want me to drive all that way out there,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: but she could make it home. She didn't lie. She
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: ain't want you to drive all the way out there,
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: and she'ld and she can make it home. But your
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: question is who been filling up her tank when you
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: was sitting there at four thirty and saw her car
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: pull up and then this man got out and then
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: got in another car. What prompted you to write this
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: letter to us? Who's been filling up her tank?
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: Him?
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: Him?
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: The dude that got out the car at four thirty
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: that you watch pull into your wife's deserved spot. So
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: that means your wife works in some type of Corporate
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: America position and somebody, now this man that drove the car,
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: it could be it could be a fueling service. It
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: could be a car wash detailed business and they put
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: gas in your car. She could be paying for it. Eh, okay, okay,
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: But who's been filling up her tank? To me is
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: an ignoric question, because you saw the man get out
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: of your wife's car at four point thirty and somebody
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: picked him up and drove off. Then you called into
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: your wife and said, I noticed your gas was low
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: this morning. You need me to come your job and
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: gas up your car. She said she ain't. Won't you
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: drive all that way because she could make it home.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: I waited till she got off work and came out.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Now you're still in the parking lot. Waited until she
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: came out, got her car. She drove straight home.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on right there. Yeah, we'll have
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: minutes after the hour today. Strawberry letter subject who's been
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: filling up her tank? We'll get back into it right
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.

- 1:03:26Speaker 2: hybrid and incredible suv? Is it the spacious interior that's
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: comfy for the whole crew. Maybe it's having up to
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: six hundred plus miles of range. What if it's all
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: of that and more?
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: What is it then the all new Hondai Palisade Hybrid,
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: so much more than just another suv. VISITHYONDAIUSA dot com
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: or call five six two three one.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Four four six zero three for more details. All right,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: who's been filling up her tank?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Bruh, I don't I don't know how to talk to
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: you because I don't know how old you are. You
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: got to be young, Yeah, you got to be young
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: because for you to write this letter, the subject is
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: who's been filling up her tank? You've been married a
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: little over a year. Your wife always has you fill
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: up her car. And then you notice that she hadn't
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: been asking you for a month to fill up the car.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: And she always has gas in the car, and the
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: car is always clean, and you know her job is
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: fifteen miles away both ways, so you knew something was up.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: And men, you say, like a big dummy, I drove
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: down to her job see what was going on. And
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: before you went, you checked her gas level. This morning
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: she was at a quarter of a tank. That's when
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: she normally tells you she need gas. So I sat
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: in the parking lot and around four thirty pm, her
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: car comes rolling in with a man driving. He parked
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: in her reserve parking spot. A car picked him up.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: I called my wife and said that I noticed that
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: her gas was low that morning. She wanted me to
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: come the job and get a car. She said, she
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: ain't want you to drive all that way out there
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: because she could make it home. Your question is who's
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: been filling up her tank? That man, that man that
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: pulled into your wife's reserved parking spot, that got out
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: of her car and another man picked up. That's who
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: was driving. That's who been filling up her tank. So,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: but why how did you manage to go home and
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: type this letter to us? Because you asking the question
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: that you already got to answer to. So when she
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: told you she ain't want you to drive all the
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: way out there because she can make it home, she
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: wasn't lying she could make it home. I waited. Now,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: now you still in the parking lot, see me. This's
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: a whole nother story. First of all, hey, man, what
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: you're doing driving my wife car?
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Fight breakout? Probably in the parking lot. Some people look,
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: the police is there. It's some yellow tape in the
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: parking lot. They bringing your wife down for questioning all
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: listening supposed to have happened, But somehow you sat there
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: in the parking lot and waited till she got home.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: And she got out, got in her car, and trove
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: straight home. I got home a few minutes after her.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: I told her I was gonna put gas in her car.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Why are you still playing this game? Though I told
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: her I was gonna put gas in her car, she
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: lied and said she stopped on the way home to
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: fill her car up. I commented on her car being
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: clean inside and out, and she said she took it
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: to be cleaned three days ago by her job. And
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: she told me she couldn't remember the name of the
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: car wash, but I bet she know the dude name
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: that was driving the car. I know some companies provided
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: gym membership for their employees, so her job provide free
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: gas and car washing. Okay, look, man, listen, I don't
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: know how to talk to you, because I really I
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: don't know you, and I ain't trying to start nothing,
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: but you asking a lot of stupid questions to me. See,
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: your wife got the answer to all these questions, but
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: you done wrote in to Steven Shirley. The first question
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: is who's putting gas in her in her who's filling
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: up her car? Demand that brought it back to the
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: parking spot. Does her company provide her free gas and
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: car washes? What company you other than fed X and
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: ups give you free gas? But they don't put gas
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: in the truck. Now, I know companies that give you
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: a gas allotment, that give you a fuel reimbursement. I
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: know that, but I don't know nothing else. Or is
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: another man taking care of her knees? Well, right now
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: you already know somebody taking care of them cars. Needs
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: you need to find out if he's filling up the
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: other tank too, if he's checking the dipstick, if he's
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: checking her oil, if he up in there changing her
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: transmission here and L putting in an extra one, she'll
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: washing for you. If he and L working on her timing, Yeah,
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: he got that carberator over.
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: Somebody in there revving up that engine.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: That what you need to find.
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: Is it cool to tell her that I drove to
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: her job and I know she been lying?
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Is it cool?
- 1:09:21Speaker 9: First?
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Boy, let me tell you something. And that man pulled
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: up in that parking lot. This a whole nother letter.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: I don't even understand how you set down and waited
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: on her to come out, to get in her and
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: follow her home. I got all I need? Who the
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: hell was in that car? Now, Shirley said, you should
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: have asked him. I probably would have said, oh, you're
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: my man, how you driving my wife's car? But I
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: would have been prepared at that moment that this fit
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: to get physical. Yeah, now you decided to come home
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: and text a letter.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You t leave your comments on Today Strawberry.

- 1:10:53Speaker 2: All right, Well, the numbers are in.
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: Forty one million people have turned in to watch Canelo
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: Alvarez and Hearns Crawford fight.
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: Forty one million.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Forty one million.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: God tuned in for that fight super Bowl and uh,
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: it's like it's uh terrece Crawford got about fifty million
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: for the fight.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: It but Canelo got one hundred and fifty million.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: What yeah, dog, Canelo is the man?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Yeah where the man got beat a hundred fifty million man.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: But you know what thing Budd did do?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Budd Crawford did do. Man, he gave Conelo ever Is
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: back his belt. He gave him back to that was
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: class class.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a nice moon man getting back his belt.
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: Because he's finna get some new custom fitted championship belts.
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: That's what he finished the wars for him.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: He's gonna get the custod fitted so he don't want
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: to see all those belts have Canelo's picture on him.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Uh huh And that was a really decent thing to
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: give him the pill back. Budd gonna get the same
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: belts with his pictures on, but he had every right
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: to keep those belts. He's the first person I've ever
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: seen gear the belts back to a man. Yeah, that's
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: awesome when he has Now what happens with Bud?
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Does he does he become the face?
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: Now?
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Is he gonna be It's gonna be a rematch this
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: fight is he is clown for pounds, the greatest fo.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: I don't think Canelo will fight every dead because he is.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: There's nothing he can do with Bud Crawford. Nothing, he
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: called him nothing. It's nothing he could do with Bud Crawford.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: He said it, he said it. I tried everything, he.
- 1:12:32Speaker 9: Said, what.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: I try Everything.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Ain't nothing working.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Nothing, I try everything, Bud, Bud, Bud was on him.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: And so now the question is does Bud retire or
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: does he take advantage because now he is the draw
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: see his next fight, but the only fight out there
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: on See they're trying to talk him into uh ben
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: a Vetas, but he don't need to do that though
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: he too big, He too big, Budd don't need to
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: go up there he don't went up far as he
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: needs to go. He didn't need to go up there

- 1:13:16Speaker 2: what about him and Tank Davis?
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: Would that be a fight?
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: You'd be interested to stop tank? He stop tank tank

- 1:13:58Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. But lady needs some
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: advice because she thinks her boyfriend is too flashy. We'll
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this is from Yo
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Yo and Raleigh. Yoyo says, I'm dating a guy that
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: was a musician for years in New York and he
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: was used to being around celebrities. He retired two years
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: ago and came back to our hometown. We got reacquainted
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: and he wants to get married. But I don't think
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: he's happy here. We are in our late fifties, but
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: he's mentally stuck in his thirties when he was living
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: the fast life. He even dresses like he's about to
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: go play his horn whenever we go out. Will he
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: ever stop acting? Hollywood? Can he settled down?
- 1:14:48Speaker 9: No?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: He too flashy, like y'all going out to dinner. He
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: just got a vest only he got a little shirt
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: and nuting.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: He sucks.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: He got it, He got it. He got a leather
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: He got a leather necklace on with a feather on him. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: he ain't coming back, babe, he's don he too flashy.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Yeah what if he's a nice guy.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: He nice guy, but he too flashed him. You know,
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: he ain't ready to be You gotta understand why he
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: came back home. Some went wrong? What he needed to
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: do is talk to what's his name or Ready Ready
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: to Love? Tommy got a great show, Francisco. Yeah, tom
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: I got love. Tommy got this really cool dude on
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: there named Cisco. Ain't got nothing and you need to
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: uh because the flashy dude he might because Cisco can
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: tell him how to get through this, because Cisco doing good.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Since Cisco got it that. I was really impressed with
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: that Ready for Love show because he looked like he
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: had it together. He can tricked a lot of people.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: He's a mirage.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: All right, we have time for another one, Steve. This
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: is from Margaret and Tulsa. Margaret says, my new lover
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: and I were about to be intimate, and I excused
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: myself to change into my nightgown. I mistakenly left my
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: shapewear in the bathroom, and later that night I heard
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: him bust out laughing after he used the bathroom. He
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: laughed and joked and even tried to squeeze into my
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: shapewear shorts. I yelled for him to stop, and it
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: ended what could have been a beautiful night. He said
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I should learn to take a joke. What was funny
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: about that? Did I miss something? Well, uh huh, that's
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: kind of weird.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it is, it is, and he did not laughing.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: But if he could fit him though, that's another problem.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: That's her shapewear shorts.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we need to find out what's really going on here. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: I think that she ain't put that in the letter,
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: but that probably would offend it. He actually got him
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: up on it.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Kit women wear shapewear though, I mean, yeah, how do
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: you guys feel about that?
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Okay, what would you say? Shape?
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Well, what you mean you mean like you know, like spans,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: like you like, give you a waist you know, make
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: your snatch your waist short.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: I don't care what you wear. Okay, she did go
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: in there and put on neglige A right, that's what
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: that's what your nightgown. I don't care what you got.
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: I don't okay, okay, right.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Off in that bathroom and you want to wait what
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: you can peel your skin off in that bathroom if
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: you want to. I'm not gonna care as long as
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: you come out of that.
- 1:17:35Speaker 11: Naked, naked, but no skin. I don't even have to
- 1:17:42Speaker 11: stand you leave some of that hand now, I don't care. Wow, Okay,
- 1:17:50Speaker 11: all right, you guys, I go.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: In the bathroom. What is all these chips in here?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: I took the nails off. I ain't want to scratch it,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: thank you.
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: I want to win in shapewear. The problem is if
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: I try to put shape wear on and still got
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: the same shape.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's not working. Yeah, it's mail. Wait,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: epic fail, epic fail.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: Spink go all the way to the high up. Do
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: a spank go however?
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you get them in different sizes. Tommy, you
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: can just bring you bring your stomach and thighs.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: Peace.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: And they have for men as well, so let's put
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: that out there too.

- 1:25:17Speaker 1: It's been a fun day. We have to thank our audience.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: It's always for riding with us every morning. We love you,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: We thank you. Yes, appreciate this morning. Yes as usual. Absolutely,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: we love you though. Thank you, Steve. You have some
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: encouraging words to close out the show. Take us home.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you know we would. What was the story we
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: were doing earlier year.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Well, we were doing this story about Monique and how
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: she's had this running fluid with feud with Tyler Perry
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: and Oprah Winfrey for about ten years, and how she
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: says she's not letting it go. She's just not letting
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: it go. She says, that's the reason we as black
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: people are treated the way we are. It stems from slavery,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: because we don't let things go, and she's not letting
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: it go. That's what she said.
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: Yeah, she said, because we let things go. Yeah, that's
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: why we listen. This isn't for her at all. This
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: isn't for her at all. I'm just talking to people
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: in general about this subject right now because I've learned
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: I can't. I'm not gonna get into that. I don't
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: want my name in it. I didn't say nothing one
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: way or the other. I'm out of it. Here's the deal.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: I want people to understand something, the danger of holding
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: on to things.
- 1:26:46Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: I don't think people really understand the value of the
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: statement of what forgiveness is. I was taught, you know,
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: as a Christian we are to forgive, right, but I
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: was when you understand the rea reason why, it becomes
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: quite beneficial because forgiveness is Forgiveness doesn't mean you have
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: to forget. That's what people think you're suppost to forgive
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: and let a person back in your life and run
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: the risk of it happening again. Forgiveness does not mean
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: you have to forget. Forgiveness allows you to no longer
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: allow that event or person to affect you. See, forgiveness
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: is not for the other person. It's for you. Most
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: people or events that you won't forgive in your life,
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: those people ain't even thinking about you. Those events have
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: come and gone. It's some people that have done you
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: what you consider dirty or wrong and then moved on
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: with they life. But every time you see them, every
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: time their name comes up, it conjures a thought in
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: you that just eats away at you like a cancer.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: Forgiveness is not for the other person, it's for you.
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: See when you don't forgive, and watch the examples of this, y'all,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: when you don't forgive, it's like you drinking the poison,
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: waiting on them to die. That's exactly what it's like.
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: All you got to do is look at the examples
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: of over and over and over over of somebody you
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: see that just refuses to let go of the past.
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: Let me tell you something, why would you not let go?
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: Holding on to the past is of no benefit to you.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: The past belongs to history, the future belongs to God.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: Your gift is the present. That's why they call it
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: the present, because that's the gift that you have, the now.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: And let me tell you something, man.
- 1:28:55Speaker 10: You.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: Let me the best way to put this. You got
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: to let go of the darkness of your past because
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: if you don't, you will stop the bright future that
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: you can have. If you hold on to the darkness
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: of your past, you will stop the bright future that
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: you can have. You can't drive your car looking in
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: the rear view mirror. You're gonna keep running into something, y'all.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: It does it. It will not hurt you. To forgive
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: a person. It won't hurt you. Now you can hang
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: on to it if you want to. You can be stubborn.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: I ain't letting it go. Okay, okay, Then guess what
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: when you don't let it go, it won't let you
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: go either. See holding on come both ways. It take
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: two people a hug. If you hug in your past,
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: your past is hugging you. So if you hold it
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: on to it, guess what it's holding on to you too.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Now somebody's getting prevented from something going on. That's the
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: danger of holding on, especially to something that's ill. That's
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: just ill to you. Something not correct, not happy, doesn't
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: bring you joy, isn't positive. You hang on to a negative, y'all.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: What you're doing, what you're doing to yourself? Come on, man,
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: you better than that. You owe yourself more than that
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: than to hang on to the past. It's over. It's over,
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: you know. I finally this year I forgave somebody who
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: did something like really crazy to me during COVID somebody
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: did something real crazy to me doing the business deal.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: I set the brother down. I forgave you, not then forget,
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: but I forgave it. Because right after I forgave him,
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: do you know what he did? He came back to
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: me and asked me for some money. And you know
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: what I had done.
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: I say, hey, brother, I forgave You'll promise you I did.
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: But I don't think you and I need to do
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: any more financial dealings because I think that's what got
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: us in the bad place before. So I just let
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: him have the information that he needed. But forgiving him
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: did a great service to me because I could worry
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: about him every time his name came up. It didn't
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: conjure up no bad thoughts in me. You have got
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: to let stuff go.
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: You can't let the darkness of your past stop the
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: bright future you can have.
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: Don't do it to yourself. Y'all forgiven the same for
- 1:31:41Speaker 6: the other person.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: It's the youth.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: Y'all. Have a great day today, and the most important
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: thing you could do today, y'all, don't forget to talk
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: to God today.
- 1:31:49Speaker 6: He would absolutely love to hear from you.
