  I'm thinking about in Acts 15, in particular Acts 15 39, and there it's talking about Paul and Barnabas and how they had a sharp disagreement.

  And it says, and there occurred such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus.

  There's a lot of important truth here, but the bottom line is these men were not debating about whether or not to continue the work.

  They were debating about how to continue the work.

  They decided to go in different directions. Barnabas had made up his mind to take John Mark. That's clear.

  I don't think that Paul was being unforgiven or that they were angry at each other.

  I think it just shows maturity on the part of each man that they were disagreeing how not whether or not, but how to do the work of the Lord.

  I see this all over in the church. I know that not everybody is going to fit in at my church.

  Not everybody is going to want to attend New Heights Fellowship Baptist Church of East Toledo.

  But at the same time, I realize that if we love the Lord, then we will be busy about his work, regardless of who is with us or how it is accomplished, what we have to do.

  We're going to do the things that line up with his will and we're going to do them daily.

  Whatever you're going through today, be encouraged. You can serve the Lord.

  You can come alongside my church. You can come alongside another church.

  You can be part of the fellowship wherever God's calling you, but you can serve the Lord in the circumstances that you're facing.

  Don't debate whether or not to serve. Just figure out how to serve.
