- 1:48Speaker 1: got me. Come come on your baby, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now. One and only. Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah, man, Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Trying to do something with it too, man. Uh you know, um,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I was having a conversation the other day with a
- 2:22Speaker 1: young person and they were telling me how they felt
- 2:25Speaker 1: that their life was stuck, that their life was in
- 2:28Speaker 1: a rut, that they didn't know what to do next.
- 2:34Speaker 1: And one of the things that was causing them this
- 2:38Speaker 1: sadness or this depression. I mean, they really really into
- 2:41Speaker 1: something right now. One of the things that was causing
- 2:44Speaker 1: it was the fact that they had made a list
- 2:50Speaker 1: of things they wanted to accomplish by a certain age,
- 2:54Speaker 1: and that age they just had a birthday recently, and
- 3:01Speaker 1: they were looking at the list and the list hadn't
- 3:05Speaker 1: been fulfilled, and because that list hadn't been fulfilled, they
- 3:13Speaker 1: were really really sad about it, you know. Um. One
- 3:17Speaker 1: of the things that they had on the list was marriage, kids,
- 3:24Speaker 1: and I don't know everything else that was on the list,
- 3:26Speaker 1: but that was one of them. And because she had
- 3:29Speaker 1: reached a certain age and she wasn't married, and she
- 3:32Speaker 1: didn't have the kids, and she had just celebrated her birthday,
- 3:37Speaker 1: she's gone into this mode of sadness whereas really really
- 3:43Speaker 1: taking a toll on her and us. As I was
- 3:47Speaker 1: learning about her situation, I was thinking about it, and
- 3:53Speaker 1: I just wanted to share this with you all this morning.
- 3:55Speaker 1: That one of the things about making a list about
- 3:59Speaker 1: what you want, which I happen to be a proponent of,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I do it myself. I have people have dream boards,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I have a gold sheet I have. I've been doing
- 4:09Speaker 1: it for years. It's a It's a wonderful way to
- 4:12Speaker 1: set goals and to keep it in front of you
- 4:14Speaker 1: as a constant reminder. And I always go over this
- 4:17Speaker 1: goal list every day, you know. I mean I go
- 4:20Speaker 1: of it all the time, every day. Sometimes I miss
- 4:23Speaker 1: a day here and there, but mostly every day I
- 4:26Speaker 1: pulled my gold sheet out and I look at it,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I read it. So I was going to these rallies
- 4:31Speaker 1: and I was learning about, you know, people who were
- 4:34Speaker 1: successful in how they kept their mind writing positive. And
- 4:37Speaker 1: one of the things I learned was to make these
- 4:39Speaker 1: dream boards, these lists, these gold sheets. And in making
- 4:44Speaker 1: a gold sheet, and you make the sheet according to
- 4:47Speaker 1: what you want, think about one thing when you made
- 4:52Speaker 1: your gold sheet, about what you want it? Does your
- 4:56Speaker 1: goal sheet have on it what God wants from you?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Did you ask in any of this what was His
- 5:03Speaker 1: will in your life? You know? Look, man, what we
- 5:06Speaker 1: want oftentimes is not what He wants for us. And
- 5:11Speaker 1: you know, if you're fighting against what you were created for,
- 5:15Speaker 1: if you're fighting against his will, I mean, what do
- 5:19Speaker 1: you want to happen? See? Don't be so hard on
- 5:23Speaker 1: yourself when you look at your goal sheet and you
- 5:25Speaker 1: look at what you've not become what you thought was
- 5:28Speaker 1: a great idea. Don't be so hard on yourself because
- 5:31Speaker 1: you just made a minded mistake. As do most people,
- 5:34Speaker 1: we oftentimes make our goals and set our goals up
- 5:37Speaker 1: without ever considering what is it that God wants from us.
- 5:41Speaker 1: We keep talking about what we want without ever finding
- 5:44Speaker 1: out and knowing what it is God wants for us. Well,
- 5:47Speaker 1: guess what, man, Maybe you're fighting against the grain. Maybe
- 5:50Speaker 1: you're just a salmon heading upstream. That's a tough fight upstream.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Not all salmons get up to the spawning grounds, you know.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Some of them don't make it upstream, you know. But
- 5:59Speaker 1: all of them, nearly all of them, except the ones
- 6:02Speaker 1: that's killed by prey. When they're spawned, they go out
- 6:05Speaker 1: to the ocean. That's cool, because you're going because you're
- 6:08Speaker 1: going with the grain. You're going downstream. You're going with
- 6:11Speaker 1: the flow. That's but when it's time to go against
- 6:15Speaker 1: the grain, it's tough. And a lot of us have
- 6:17Speaker 1: just been going against the grain for all of these years.
- 6:20Speaker 1: But you know what, listen, man, I did it. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: know a lot of people who did it. Very few
- 6:25Speaker 1: people get it right from the very beginning. Man, you
- 6:30Speaker 1: got to stumble through life sometimes sometimes you got to
- 6:32Speaker 1: fall through life. You gotta make a lot of mistakes, man,
- 6:36Speaker 1: But these mistakes are not failures. You know, when you
- 6:38Speaker 1: fail at something, don't look at it as a failure.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Don't look at yourself as a failure. Because you're thirty
- 6:43Speaker 1: and and your goals ain't reach that you had on
- 6:45Speaker 1: your list. That was your list. What about the things
- 6:49Speaker 1: that's going right. Stop looking at what you're not, take
- 6:53Speaker 1: some time out and thank God for what you are.
- 6:55Speaker 1: How about the fact that you keep waking up to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be thirty. You know you get depressed by these birthdays.
- 7:00Speaker 1: You really want to throw yourself in some depression. Miss
- 7:03Speaker 1: a birthday, You really got a problem. Now look at
- 7:07Speaker 1: where you are. You keep reaching birthdays. That's a glorious blessing.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You keep waking up. You got your health, You've accomplished something.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Something on your list is done. People spend too much
- 7:18Speaker 1: time on the negative side, and you're just throwing yourself
- 7:21Speaker 1: into depression. So what, you wanted to be married by
- 7:24Speaker 1: a certain age and you wanted to have kids. Okay, cool,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you could have done all that with the wrong person.
- 7:29Speaker 1: There's a blessing in not being married to the wrong person.
- 7:33Speaker 1: There's a blessing in not having kids and nobody to
- 7:35Speaker 1: help you raise it. There's a blessing in that man
- 7:38Speaker 1: talking to somebody who can tell it to you. You
- 7:40Speaker 1: can marry the wrong person if you want to. I'm
- 7:43Speaker 1: telling you you're gonna be up in some mess you
- 7:45Speaker 1: can't count on. So instead of being angry because you're
- 7:49Speaker 1: not married, you don't have kids, why don't you think
- 7:51Speaker 1: God demand Maybe he spared you from some misery here.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Maybe you could have married the wrong person. Maybe you
- 7:56Speaker 1: have kids and you're not really ready to be a
- 7:58Speaker 1: mother or a father. Got to look at the upside, man,
- 8:01Speaker 1: Quit looking at what you don't have. Take some time
- 8:04Speaker 1: to thank God for what you do have. When you
- 8:07Speaker 1: do that, you make more room for blessings to flow
- 8:09Speaker 1: into your life. I'm not saying how God thinks, because
- 8:13Speaker 1: I really don't know, but I'm telling you if a
- 8:17Speaker 1: person comes to me and I always give a person
- 8:19Speaker 1: something and they never appear grateful, or they never say
- 8:22Speaker 1: thank you, please, no, you can quit coming to me. Now.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't know that's how God works because I've gone
- 8:30Speaker 1: back to him several times without being grateful of thanking him,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and he's feeling my basket up again. So I really
- 8:37Speaker 1: think he's not like that. But I can't make the
- 8:39Speaker 1: call for sure. But I think at one point in time, me,
- 8:44Speaker 1: just just me talking, i'd be a little ticked off
- 8:47Speaker 1: at somebody who was always taken, taking, taking, and never
- 8:51Speaker 1: showing any gratitude. At one point in time, I would
- 8:54Speaker 1: just stop the flow of the take you know, you
- 8:57Speaker 1: just you can't take no more from me. That's what
- 8:59Speaker 1: I would do. Now. I'm not calling it like that
- 9:02Speaker 1: because I ain't him, but I know he's merciful, He's
- 9:05Speaker 1: full of goodness and here and there and he'll forgive
- 9:07Speaker 1: you again. And thank God he does that because he's
- 9:10Speaker 1: shown enough done it for me. But wow, man, take
- 9:12Speaker 1: some time out today and be grateful for what you have.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Stop complaining about where you're not, and think about where
- 9:18Speaker 1: you are, and then take it from there. And then
- 9:21Speaker 1: next time you make a list, make sure on that
- 9:23Speaker 1: list you have God's will. What does he want for you?
- 9:27Speaker 1: Does God create give everybody a gift and a talent?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Some of us never apply gifts and talents. We head
- 9:33Speaker 1: off in another direction. Then you wonder why your life
- 9:35Speaker 1: ain't where as supposed to be. Have you ever thought
- 9:38Speaker 1: about what God gifted you to do? Have you ever
- 9:40Speaker 1: thought about doing that? And stip skip what you want.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I wanted to play in the NBA, but I gotta
- 9:44Speaker 1: tell you something. At dribbling and shooting and running all
- 9:48Speaker 1: at one time, throwing me off a little bit you know.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It's so I'm doing what I do. It's pretty cool.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You can look at it that way. Okay, you're listening show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Let me break it to you this way.

- 12:55Speaker 1: my team, my team went to Cape Town beautiful. Okay, yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 1: they went to Capetown, not me. It was some little
- 13:06Speaker 1: activities going on in Cape Town. I don't need to
- 13:08Speaker 1: be around you know. First, I think it was age
- 13:12Speaker 1: appropriate that I remained in joe Burg. All right, take
- 13:19Speaker 1: your own ass sowhere, sit down for you going somewhere
- 13:23Speaker 1: and fall out. So they had a good time. Capetown
- 13:29Speaker 1: was gorgeous. Man, But this here, Motherland's still here all week.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Let's go Shirley. All right, here we go, coming up
- 13:35Speaker 1: in thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll have asked
- 13:38Speaker 1: the clo. Right after this you're listening to show. Well, Steve,
- 13:45Speaker 1: did you want to tell us a little bit more
- 13:48Speaker 1: about Capetown before we get into the cello? As the cello? No,
- 13:52Speaker 1: because as I thought about it on the break, it
- 13:54Speaker 1: ain't nothing I can tell because I wasn't there. Okay,
- 13:58Speaker 1: went down now you haven't you? Oh, stunningly gorgeous? How
- 14:04Speaker 1: many people there? I have no idea? A lot? Did
- 14:07Speaker 1: you count them? What do you know? What do you say?
- 14:15Speaker 1: It's question make show. You can say you was dead,
- 14:19Speaker 1: but you don't know how many people that what you're
- 14:21Speaker 1: talking about? You went, I don't really know how many people? What? Oh?
- 14:30Speaker 1: It looked at me like, oh yeah, all right, it's
- 14:40Speaker 1: time for asking to blow Chief Love Officers Steve Harvey
- 14:43Speaker 1: in the building. This one is from anonymous in Chicago.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I have a female co worker that has the most
- 14:49Speaker 1: horrible body odor. Her office and her car smell bad too.
- 14:55Speaker 1: She's very cute, and classy and thinks she's a glamor girl.
- 14:58Speaker 1: And whenever we're around other car workers, I'll stand away
- 15:01Speaker 1: from her so nobody thinks it's me smelling like that.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I can't really tell what the odor is, but it's bad.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Things could get awkward if I tell her. But I
- 15:11Speaker 1: would want to know if it were me, how do
- 15:14Speaker 1: I tell this woman she smells badly? How? Well? Now
- 15:16Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Is this a guy that
- 15:18Speaker 1: wrote this or a woman? Um? It sounds like a
- 15:22Speaker 1: woman to me, but it doesn't say it's just anonymous.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It might be a guy. Yeah. See, I don't really
- 15:30Speaker 1: know if it's just a co worker. I don't know
- 15:36Speaker 1: that you can say nothing all right now? You mean
- 15:41Speaker 1: you know what you're talking? One of y'all up in
- 15:47Speaker 1: here smelling out have been saying something? What would you say?
- 15:50Speaker 1: How would you say that? No, ass need to do something.
- 15:53Speaker 1: It's something wrong with you? You you don't smell that?
- 15:56Speaker 1: What is that? What is that? That's my five? And
- 16:01Speaker 1: then my file back would be you got a mask on?
- 16:04Speaker 1: You show with me? You know, I don't really know
- 16:13Speaker 1: how to handle that one. I think that's a touchy situation.
- 16:16Speaker 1: If you're a lady, you could pull her to the side.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Y'all not gonna be friends no more. And if you're
- 16:23Speaker 1: a guy, you really can I mean what you're gonna
- 16:24Speaker 1: say though, you know you can't say nothing. You're a
- 16:26Speaker 1: stake woman nothing a man. How do you? I mean,
- 16:29Speaker 1: let me ask y'all this. Can you go to HR
- 16:32Speaker 1: and have an HR talk to him? That's the thing.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I think that's what I would do. Yeah, especially if
- 16:38Speaker 1: it's not your friend, if she's just a co worker,
- 16:42Speaker 1: and I think that's the best route of what you're
- 16:44Speaker 1: saying to y'all. Yeah, here's what I would do. I
- 16:47Speaker 1: would go on her Facebook page five her relatives, contact
- 16:52Speaker 1: her relatives on the down low and say, hey, I
- 16:54Speaker 1: need to say something to your sister or get your niece.
- 17:03Speaker 1: You know what, you can see it, just like just
- 17:10Speaker 1: go to HR like he said, that's the best. Now,
- 17:15Speaker 1: So you didn't told my cousins on Facebook? Yeah, yeah,
- 17:19Speaker 1: go to HR like I said, anonymously. All right, thank
- 17:23Speaker 1: you anonymous. Hope you guys get that situation straight down.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Suzanne and Menlo, New Jersey says, I'm sixty nine years
- 17:30Speaker 1: young and my husband and I have been married for
- 17:32Speaker 1: thirty two years. Our sex life has changed in the
- 17:35Speaker 1: past two years, and all he wants is quickies. Are quickies.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I started noticing how he changed when he started watching
- 17:43Speaker 1: porn all the time on his iPad. I think he's
- 17:46Speaker 1: lusting after the young girls on the videos. Do you
- 17:48Speaker 1: think this is why he stopped making love and is
- 17:51Speaker 1: doing quickies now? I have no idea anything. I have
- 17:55Speaker 1: no He's sixty nine years old. He's still doing anything, so, oh,
- 17:59Speaker 1: you can't quickly? Is still doing it things? It's clean years,
- 18:21Speaker 1: all right? Karina and a high Point, North Carolina, says.
- 18:26Speaker 1: My husband and I've been married for almost a year
- 18:29Speaker 1: and we live in separate states. I got a promotion
- 18:32Speaker 1: at a huge raise before the wedding, making me the
- 18:35Speaker 1: first black district manager at my company. Before the wedding,
- 18:39Speaker 1: we bought a house in Texas, where my husband lives,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and the plan was for me to move and work remotely. Well,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I can't do that now. My husband is an ear doctor,
- 18:49Speaker 1: so he can work anywhere, but he won't compromise. I
- 18:53Speaker 1: could take an emotion and move to Texas, but should
- 18:56Speaker 1: I have to? H Well, I mean, y'all, married marriage
- 19:03Speaker 1: is compromised. So the two of you have to figure
- 19:08Speaker 1: out what the compromise is. He's an ear doctor, you
- 19:13Speaker 1: say he could live anywhere. You got this big promotion.
- 19:17Speaker 1: You became the first black person as a district manager
- 19:21Speaker 1: for this company, which is a very proud accomplishment for you,
- 19:24Speaker 1: I'm sure, and you probably worked really hard to get that.
- 19:29Speaker 1: But now y'all married and y'all live separately, so the
- 19:33Speaker 1: decision has to be made. And y'all had just bought
- 19:37Speaker 1: the house where that he's living in in Texas, and
- 19:44Speaker 1: you were supposed to go there and work remotely. So
- 19:48Speaker 1: the change of plans happened on your side. So I
- 19:57Speaker 1: think that's where because the home is there in Texas,
- 20:02Speaker 1: his job is there in Texas, and you all's original
- 20:06Speaker 1: plans with in Texas. Now you got this job. The
- 20:10Speaker 1: change came on you. So to compromise, you know, might
- 20:18Speaker 1: might have to come from your side of it. I
- 20:21Speaker 1: don't know, right, Yeah, but he could move. But then
- 20:24Speaker 1: y'allen bought this house, and the hardest it is by
- 20:27Speaker 1: a house. It's hard to walk away from a house.
- 20:31Speaker 1: She doesn't want to take an emotion. But yeah, I'm
- 20:35Speaker 1: with you on that. I don't either, I said, I
- 20:39Speaker 1: don't either. Yeah, all right, all right, Wow, that's a
- 20:49Speaker 1: tough one right there. All right. Coming up next, church
- 20:51Speaker 1: complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon death Jam. Right after
- 20:55Speaker 1: this you're listening. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:00Speaker 1: Miss Anna standing by with National News, and we'll have
- 21:03Speaker 1: today's entertainment news. Later on, Carlin and I will talk
- 21:06Speaker 1: about some of the OSCAR highlights from last night's ninety
- 21:09Speaker 1: third Annual Academy Awards. Of course I got to talk
- 21:13Speaker 1: about what everybody was wearing and all that. But uh,
- 21:17Speaker 1: but right now it is time for some laughter. Here's
- 21:19Speaker 1: church complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. Let's
- 21:23Speaker 1: go oh, I'm so happy having back Deacon, thank you Path.
- 21:32Speaker 1: The last week we had all young deacon substituted city
- 21:40Speaker 1: in it so very perplexing. I didn't quite have the voice,
- 21:51Speaker 1: you know, Foy, I got it, I got it. That
- 21:57Speaker 1: ain't the voice. Got on your nerve. We already wanted it.
- 22:03Speaker 1: That ain't what we're looking for. Go ahead, all right,
- 22:09Speaker 1: let's get down the business here. I we got a problem.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Deacon James Johnson is telling members that I uh, they
- 22:19Speaker 1: can come by his house and get the Johnson vaccine shot. Uh,
- 22:25Speaker 1: this is just an outrage. Please talk to him. He
- 22:28Speaker 1: is not a doctor, and he didn't shot up square
- 22:31Speaker 1: members already. You're gonna have to talk to them. Well,
- 22:34Speaker 1: let me ask you, of coution. What is he shooting
- 22:36Speaker 1: him up with? I don't know the pallet he's saying.
- 22:39Speaker 1: He claims he has the Johnson vaccine. I don't. I
- 22:43Speaker 1: don't know what he shouting, I exactly, I don't know
- 22:48Speaker 1: what he's shooting him with. Well, are you dumb enough
- 22:52Speaker 1: to go to set an injection to something? You know?
- 22:57Speaker 1: You might as well get some booty put on while
- 23:00Speaker 1: you're over there? Should you just taking it? Get ye?
- 23:07Speaker 1: Know your word? No? Yes? Come on now, all right,
- 23:12Speaker 1: we got another problem here, Deacon roy lord Hammer. He
- 23:18Speaker 1: ordered some mask with Bible verses on him and got
- 23:22Speaker 1: them all mixed up. Instead of John three sixteen, it
- 23:25Speaker 1: says John sixty nine. Uh. In instead of Psalms twenty
- 23:31Speaker 1: three is Salms nine ninety nine, and instead of Acts
- 23:35Speaker 1: two and thirty eight is Acts seven seven seven ninety
- 23:38Speaker 1: three eleven. You go, what do you want to do
- 23:40Speaker 1: with these mans? He didn't arder. I don't. I don't
- 23:42Speaker 1: know what to do with it. I think we can
- 23:44Speaker 1: go ahead and use the mask. Most people hit in
- 23:48Speaker 1: the churchen while know how they ain't gonna what it
- 23:51Speaker 1: is with Jones or could be an address. What's the
- 23:58Speaker 1: last when you said that was a pass that was asked,
- 24:03Speaker 1: it was supposed to be asked two and thirty eight,
- 24:06Speaker 1: but it's asked. Sam set them said ninety three and eleven.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That's what it is. Yeah, well that's a song. So
- 24:11Speaker 1: that's a nice man who I'm gonna keep the mask
- 24:14Speaker 1: and just don't pass them off through no stints right
- 24:19Speaker 1: centers only, yo, that's everybody. Yeah, well, I don't know
- 24:24Speaker 1: if you want to walk around with John six to nine.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I don't know that sn I just said, don't give
- 24:29Speaker 1: them to saints. I don't care. So do you know
- 24:32Speaker 1: the centers that I should? Yeah, I got to make
- 24:35Speaker 1: sure I'm giving them to the right. That's calm, down
- 24:37Speaker 1: to the shelter. Okay, all right, here's another situation. Awesome
- 24:45Speaker 1: down that head on a KA side shirt with Oh
- 24:50Speaker 1: you're gonna bring this up while I mean cart thats
- 24:52Speaker 1: what you gonna do. That's why you can't snap out.
- 24:57Speaker 1: See how that worked anyway, Let's just let that loan there.
- 25:04Speaker 1: All the members whose heads are too big and their
- 25:08Speaker 1: glasses can't fit behind the ears are asking to raise
- 25:12Speaker 1: money to get extensions on their glass and that's your copy. No,
- 25:19Speaker 1: we're just gonna have them, or just we're gonna call it,
- 25:26Speaker 1: or what wam ministry, the wedge ill ministry, what that's
- 25:34Speaker 1: the water as head ministry, And they just go around
- 25:39Speaker 1: and just find other big head as people. And in
- 25:43Speaker 1: that way, they don't understand because you're talking to somebody
- 25:45Speaker 1: with glasses don't don't go behind the ear. They ain't
- 25:48Speaker 1: gonna say that about choice not going behind you. Ill.
- 25:51Speaker 1: You know what I say, I understand I here. The
- 25:57Speaker 1: force is different today. I don't know what's going on.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Sho Hello, minded mine said, I ain't show you need
- 26:10Speaker 1: some help from Deacon Junior. No, no Lord standing back.
- 26:21Speaker 1: This is pretty much unanimous by the members. A lot
- 26:24Speaker 1: of members are asking they have they saying they have
- 26:26Speaker 1: things to do because you just post your sermons so
- 26:29Speaker 1: we don't all have to zoom in at the same time. Wow,
- 26:35Speaker 1: oh y'all, y'all all mist think this Joel Oldstein or
- 26:39Speaker 1: the part of high we ain't got No, we ain't
- 26:43Speaker 1: even got to YouTube channel. If you ain't here for
- 26:45Speaker 1: the zoo, then't by by you missed the word. We
- 26:50Speaker 1: ain't got nothing else for you, because we ain't got
- 26:52Speaker 1: nobody young enough they know how to post these post
- 26:54Speaker 1: the messages. The youngest member of our church is fifty eight.
- 27:02Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, that's all right. The grandkids don't
- 27:07Speaker 1: come here to children quit coming here. We're just old. Yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 1: we no longer have a youth quad. That they completely gone,
- 27:16Speaker 1: the youth choids. Well, we do have a youth quad,
- 27:19Speaker 1: but they sixty old folks quad is the four eighty
- 27:27Speaker 1: five year olds. We gotta the Lord. Don't nobody want
- 27:30Speaker 1: to hear listening to him? All right? They're saying, after
- 27:36Speaker 1: cross one more time, so pass the We got an
- 27:46Speaker 1: issue here. Deacon Dick Jefferson is asking that you tell
- 27:49Speaker 1: the members to make sure they say Deacon be Folk
- 27:52Speaker 1: saying his first name. I guess he's getting offended by
- 27:56Speaker 1: this fast that's yo, Kyle. Why don't he call himself Richard?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Why that chard path? I never understood that? Now? Who did?
- 28:12Speaker 1: Who thought that? Was it? The only thing I can
- 28:17Speaker 1: come up with was the first hundred original members named
- 28:24Speaker 1: Richard M. All right, yeah, right down that line that
- 28:32Speaker 1: I said that way, Well, they wanted to abbreviate that,
- 28:38Speaker 1: so they it went around the front. Last question, pass
- 28:45Speaker 1: it and we need to get this clear out. What
- 28:48Speaker 1: can we say that's offficit, that ain't two syllables. That
- 28:51Speaker 1: kind of makes us think, well that the only thing logic.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Thank you for church complaints coming up at the top
- 29:01Speaker 1: of the hour, Miss Anna standing by with our National News.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Later on, Carl and I will talk about Oscar highlights
- 29:06Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:12Speaker 1: The Celebration of Life memorial service was held for DMX
- 29:15Speaker 1: this past Saturday. A monster truck carried Earl Simmons, of
- 29:20Speaker 1: course DMX DMX's casket in a procession escorted by hundreds
- 29:25Speaker 1: of Rough Riders motorcycle bikers to the Barclay Center in Brooklyn.
- 29:29Speaker 1: It was a two hour service for friends and family.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Kanye West Sunday Service Choir performed. Of course, members of
- 29:37Speaker 1: members of the Rough Riders were there. Eve was theres
- 29:39Speaker 1: was Beats Unas was there too. Unas starred in um
- 29:45Speaker 1: U in the movie Belly with DMX and um Yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 1: I remember Belly DMX's children spoke of the memorial service,
- 29:53Speaker 1: and we all saw on social media. One of his
- 29:55Speaker 1: younger daughters, Sonova, honored her late father and formed his
- 30:01Speaker 1: song Slipping. So all we can say now is rest
- 30:06Speaker 1: in power, Rest in peace. D m X. Yeah. All
- 30:10Speaker 1: I saw over here was I saw clips of the
- 30:13Speaker 1: funeral possession. Oh, the casket in the big the big truck,
- 30:19Speaker 1: and all I mean they had a string of bikes.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah you know, yeah, yeah. What he talked about loyalty
- 30:30Speaker 1: and people being there for X when he was alive.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You know, he was saying, everybody was here now, but
- 30:35Speaker 1: he needed y'all, you know, when he was alive. And
- 30:38Speaker 1: so he did a stern message about loyalty and honoring
- 30:42Speaker 1: people while they're still here. And yeah, yeah I saw
- 30:47Speaker 1: piece on social media too, Yeah yeah, yeah, um and
- 30:53Speaker 1: other sad hip hop news. On Friday, we were all
- 30:57Speaker 1: shocked and sattened by the news that shocked g one
- 31:00Speaker 1: of the co founders of Digital Underground, passed away according
- 31:03Speaker 1: to his father, Yes Tommy. According to his father, Edward Racker,
- 31:09Speaker 1: the fifty seven year old was found unresponsive in a
- 31:11Speaker 1: hotel room in Tampa. The cause of death is still
- 31:15Speaker 1: unclear at this point, and authorities are set to conduct
- 31:18Speaker 1: an autopsy. The first person I thought of when I
- 31:22Speaker 1: saw that was, of course Tommy. It was like, man,
- 31:25Speaker 1: one of my favorites. Man, yeah, I know that's your song.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Such a that's your favorite song. I mean that came out.
- 31:32Speaker 1: The song came out in the nineties, Humpty Dance. I
- 31:35Speaker 1: think it was actually nineteen ninety and it would just say, Junior,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I think it's ninety five and three of you at
- 31:43Speaker 1: the Baby Dome doing the Humpty Dance. Let me see
- 31:46Speaker 1: you doing that. I remember, I remember, I remember, I
- 31:52Speaker 1: remember when he came over. When he came over to
- 31:54Speaker 1: our Geneo, people camped out because you know, they would
- 31:57Speaker 1: know a day advance who was gonna be on this show.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I mean camped out when that group came over. The
- 32:02Speaker 1: mane Yeah, I mean yeah, it was quite a shock,
- 32:08Speaker 1: was in that group in Yeah. Yeah, on the ground. Man,
- 32:14Speaker 1: we're losing a lot of things. We really really are,
- 32:17Speaker 1: unexpectedly too. I mean, you look out from one day
- 32:21Speaker 1: they're doing them because I'm about to ruin used to
- 32:27Speaker 1: and he did that for sure, or what I looked funny,
- 32:33Speaker 1: But you'll want making money. But yeah, I'm making money. Yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I looked it was fun though. That was Yeah, it
- 32:44Speaker 1: was fun exactly. That's that's a good girl. Yeah. I
- 32:48Speaker 1: called your fat me I'm skinny. Never stopped me from
- 32:54Speaker 1: getting busy. Yeah, it will be men, music lives on.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Stop because I'm about to ruin the image and astoun
- 33:06Speaker 1: that used to a look funny. But yeah, I'm making money.
- 33:09Speaker 1: See yeah, absolutely, rest in peace and condolences to his family.
- 33:16Speaker 1: All right, Steve, time now for a headline, ladies, a gentleman,
- 33:19Speaker 1: miss Anne Trip. Well, thank you very much, everybody, Good
- 33:23Speaker 1: Monday morning everyone. According to the Washington Post, get this
- 33:26Speaker 1: one of the experts that Derek Chauvin's lawyer used to
- 33:29Speaker 1: claim that Jerk Chauvin wasn't guilty murdering George Floyd. Well,
- 33:32Speaker 1: that doctor is under investigation. I tell you a little
- 33:35Speaker 1: bit about him. A couple of weeks ago, doctor David
- 33:38Speaker 1: follow Fowler testified that carbon monoxide from an idling police
- 33:43Speaker 1: car is what killed mister Floyd, and that testimony enraged
- 33:46Speaker 1: hundreds of doctors, apparently, who signed on to a letter
- 33:49Speaker 1: calling for an independent review of Fowler's handling of in
- 33:53Speaker 1: police custody deaths. Generally Fowler, as I told you a
- 33:56Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago, was born in the former Rhodesia
- 33:58Speaker 1: which is now Zimbabwe, and he was educated in Aparthei rule,
- 34:01Speaker 1: South Africa. This guy ended up Chief Medical Examined of Maryland,
- 34:05Speaker 1: overseeing a number of high profile cases, including that of
- 34:08Speaker 1: Freddy Gray, who died after a riding a police van
- 34:10Speaker 1: and where cops involve exonerated they say he might have
- 34:14Speaker 1: done it before. Federal prosecutors are now considering more charges
- 34:17Speaker 1: against Derek Chauvin over an incident that took place back
- 34:20Speaker 1: in twenty seventeen, when a black teenager says Chauvin need
- 34:23Speaker 1: him in the back, pressing down for seventeen minutes, making
- 34:27Speaker 1: it hard for him to barely breathe. Prosecutors stay The
- 34:29Speaker 1: video shows Chauvin striking nun armed black teenager in the
- 34:32Speaker 1: back of the head and then pinning him to the
- 34:34Speaker 1: ground with his knee for about seventeen minutes, ignoring complaints
- 34:38Speaker 1: that the kid couldn't Breathe eventually got up and no
- 34:41Speaker 1: charges wherever filed against him. A North Carolina sheriff whose
- 34:45Speaker 1: deputy shot and killed an unarmed black man last week
- 34:48Speaker 1: says he'll petition for the release of body camp a
- 34:50Speaker 1: video of that shooting. Later on today, Elizabeth City Sheriff
- 34:53Speaker 1: of Tommy Wootton says that forty two year old Andrew
- 34:56Speaker 1: Brown Junior was shot and killed by deputies as they
- 34:59Speaker 1: attempted to serve of a warrant last Wednesday. Volume a
- 35:02Speaker 1: process that protects the investigation to ensure fairness for all.
- 35:07Speaker 1: First responders are heard on radio traffic saying that Brown
- 35:11Speaker 1: was shot in the back. The Brown family attorneys have
- 35:13Speaker 1: been told that no weapons or drugs were found at
- 35:16Speaker 1: the scene. Here we go again. A white woman has
- 35:19Speaker 1: lost her job at a Virginia food bank after she
- 35:22Speaker 1: went on a racist tirade against a black neighbor, using
- 35:26Speaker 1: slurs and telling the woman that she was the wrong
- 35:28Speaker 1: color so she didn't qualify. Finally, a two day memorial
- 35:32Speaker 1: service was held over the weekend in New York City
- 35:35Speaker 1: for Earl Simmons, better known as DMX. The ceremony was
- 35:39Speaker 1: live streamed on DMX's YouTube channel. As you would expect,
- 35:43Speaker 1: the stars came out, among them hip hop legends like
- 35:46Speaker 1: Eve and Kanye Westbuster Rhymes, and DMX's old friend Jada Kiss.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I've seen a dog in all kinds of different phases
- 35:54Speaker 1: of his life and anybody I've seen him in his
- 35:57Speaker 1: last year or two he was the app do you
- 36:00Speaker 1: see ever was in life? I mean dogs life. Now
- 36:03Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening, all right,
- 36:09Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, introduce your man fit the grand ladies
- 36:13Speaker 1: and gentlemen. He is here, Jake Anthony Brown. These are
- 36:18Speaker 1: not jokes, These are not deeper. These are just smoking thoughts.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Everywhere here we go. They're starting to the greatest material.
- 36:28Speaker 1: The greatest material known to women is spandex. The greatest
- 36:33Speaker 1: material known to men is latex. Smoke thoughts. These are
- 36:37Speaker 1: smoke thoughts. Show if Jesus came back, would you try
- 36:44Speaker 1: to get a selfie with him? These are smoke There,
- 36:51Speaker 1: he's a He's are thoughts. There are no proppologists with
- 36:56Speaker 1: small hands. They don't exist. There are no They don't
- 37:00Speaker 1: how which small they do not exist? I've never found one.
- 37:06Speaker 1: If you smoke weed, what you cook taste good to you.
- 37:11Speaker 1: If you smoke weed, what you cook taste good to you.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Every time you've never seen him. You've never seen him
- 37:20Speaker 1: put fresh hot dogs out at the seven eleven. You've
- 37:24Speaker 1: never seen fresh wood set out. You never have seen it,
- 37:29Speaker 1: just it just there. You don't know how lone they've
- 37:33Speaker 1: been there. These are smoke Thus, these are smoke thuts.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You never seen them clean out the baptismal pool. You've
- 37:44Speaker 1: never seen it. You seen him fill it up with water.
- 37:48Speaker 1: You see people get in there. You ain't never seen
- 37:52Speaker 1: him cleaning. These are smoke thoughts. If she says, let
- 38:00Speaker 1: steward doggie style so I can do some checks, so
- 38:03Speaker 1: I can fill out some checks, you ain't working with nothing.
- 38:07Speaker 1: If she says, let's do it doggie style so I
- 38:10Speaker 1: can fill out some checks, you ain't working with nothing,
- 38:16Speaker 1: he's he's a smoke thoughts. When you make love, the
- 38:21Speaker 1: man should never be louder than the woman ever, and
- 38:25Speaker 1: it never should. You don't being here out holling me,
- 38:32Speaker 1: don't be in here. Out here we go, Ladies, ladies.
- 38:38Speaker 1: If you put a sweater on a big butt, you
- 38:42Speaker 1: still have a big butt. Okay, if you put a
- 38:46Speaker 1: sweater over a big button, last the nine leies. The
- 38:54Speaker 1: best biscuits are at red laughter, better than your mama's,
- 38:58Speaker 1: damn right, the best biscuits I had read laughs, These
- 39:02Speaker 1: have been smoke thoughts by yours truly. J Three Brown,
- 39:06Speaker 1: need to let that go. Thank you Jay. Coming up
- 39:10Speaker 1: at thirty four minutes after the hour, we're gonna tell
- 39:12Speaker 1: you about this is really something big, you guys, wait
- 39:15Speaker 1: till you hear this quest Love Summer of Soul acclaimed documentary.
- 39:19Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 39:22Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, so Steve. In nineteen
- 39:27Speaker 1: sixty nine, the Harlem Cultural Festival celebrated Black history, music, culture,
- 39:34Speaker 1: pride and fashion. Okay. Also in nineteen sixty nine, during
- 39:40Speaker 1: the same summer as Woodstock, a different music festival took
- 39:44Speaker 1: place one hundred miles away. However, more than three hundred
- 39:48Speaker 1: thousand people attended the summer concert series known as the
- 39:52Speaker 1: Harlem Cultural Festival. Artists like Stevie Wonder, Nina Simons, Lying
- 39:57Speaker 1: the Family Stone, Gladys Night in the Pips, BB King,
- 40:01Speaker 1: Mahalia Jackson was even there, and many many more. It
- 40:05Speaker 1: was filmed, but after that summer, the footage sat an
- 40:09Speaker 1: abasement for fifty years. Fifty years so the footage from
- 40:14Speaker 1: the festival was never seen, largely forgotten until now. Okay,
- 40:20Speaker 1: So last night, during the Oscars, the movie trailer for
- 40:24Speaker 1: the documentary Summer of Soul dropped and it's directed by
- 40:27Speaker 1: Quest Love, whose real name is a mere quest Love Thompson.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Even though Summer of Soul centers around an amazing I
- 40:35Speaker 1: mean amazing concert, this really isn't a concert film. It's
- 40:39Speaker 1: not a concert film. This film is a celebration of
- 40:42Speaker 1: black pride, culture and music. We're so proud of Quest
- 40:46Speaker 1: Love and his directorial debut. Summer of Soul will be
- 40:50Speaker 1: in theaters and on Hulu July second, so we'll all
- 40:55Speaker 1: get a chance to share it and see it. Definitely great,
- 40:58Speaker 1: you know, man, I guess because Woodstock may have overshadowed
- 41:04Speaker 1: it because you know, Woodstock was first of all white,
- 41:10Speaker 1: and we talk of nineteen sixty nine, Yes, yes, I mean,
- 41:14Speaker 1: if you all really knew culturally what all was done
- 41:19Speaker 1: that Blacks never got pressed for, never got any recognition for.
- 41:27Speaker 1: It was crazy. And I'm not comparing this to the
- 41:30Speaker 1: to the Kings of comedy to that, but for the
- 41:33Speaker 1: first two years, they never wrote a story about us.
- 41:37Speaker 1: So I can only imagine in nineteen sixty nine, in
- 41:41Speaker 1: sixty nine, oh man, to have that line up Stevie Wonder,
- 41:46Speaker 1: Nina Salone Simone Slide, The Family Stone, Gladys Knight in
- 41:50Speaker 1: the Pill, bb King, Mahaya Jackson. Wow, you know, and
- 41:57Speaker 1: don't nobody know. You gotta understand. Back, like in sixty nine,
- 42:03Speaker 1: theaters weren't showing a lot of black movies unless they
- 42:05Speaker 1: were black exploitation movies. So something like this, and I
- 42:08Speaker 1: don't even know, I don't even know black exploitation was
- 42:14Speaker 1: out in sixty eight. I think they hit like that.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Seventies those things, yea. The theaters were segregated in a
- 42:25Speaker 1: lot of black people, major theaters, so that that's one reason.
- 42:30Speaker 1: And even the Watch the Watch Um Festival wasn't as
- 42:34Speaker 1: big as it should have been. It was in the seventies, yea,
- 42:38Speaker 1: when it could stay in the basement that long, right, Look,
- 42:42Speaker 1: black people didn't get on MTV to Michael Jackson released
- 42:45Speaker 1: them thriller that thank you. That's crazy. So yeah, I
- 42:52Speaker 1: can't wait to see it. I think it'd be crazy.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I definitely want to see it. Yeah. So again, it's
- 42:58Speaker 1: gonna be in theaters and on Hulu July seconds. So
- 43:01Speaker 1: we have this to look forward to. And let me
- 43:03Speaker 1: say something man to young people about stuff like this.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Oh that's old it's all it was. It's all it was.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Hip hop is new. Yeah, it may have been here
- 43:17Speaker 1: your whole life, but hip hop is new. Hip Hop
- 43:20Speaker 1: wasn't born until the seventies and and we went crazy
- 43:25Speaker 1: when somebody black was on television. It wasn't the black groups.
- 43:30Speaker 1: I mean, there's only one outlet maybe, like you know
- 43:33Speaker 1: history this Ed Sullivan. Sullivan was the only person putting
- 43:40Speaker 1: black people on TV. What Johnny Carson came out and
- 43:44Speaker 1: did it too, you know. Yeah, but so so yeah,
- 43:51Speaker 1: up again to quest Love. Yeah, last night musical check
- 43:55Speaker 1: it out? Yeah, yeah, July second, we'll look forward to
- 44:00Speaker 1: Summer of Soul. All right, coming up next, the Nephew
- 44:03Speaker 1: is here with today's prank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:06Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 44:11Speaker 1: the top of the hour, about four minutes after. It's
- 44:13Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today. The subject you ain't my
- 44:16Speaker 1: step mama. You ain't my step mama. We'll get into
- 44:20Speaker 1: that in a little bit, but right now, the nephew
- 44:22Speaker 1: is here with today's prank phone call. What you got
- 44:25Speaker 1: for his? Next? The Postman? All weeds rings, tway, what's
- 44:33Speaker 1: a movie? M hm, a movie? The postman always rings.

- 48:51Speaker 1: that's what you use when you spray on them dogs.

- 53:57Speaker 1: Subject you ain't my stepmama. Dear Stephen. Sure, I've been
- 54:00Speaker 1: dating a man for eight years and he proposed last month.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Shortly after we met. He found out about a two
- 54:07Speaker 1: year old daughter by a woman he had a one
- 54:09Speaker 1: night stand with the child's mother was messing with two guys,
- 54:13Speaker 1: so of course he took a paternity test. I drove
- 54:16Speaker 1: him back and forth to visit his child, which was
- 54:19Speaker 1: over three hours away. I was friendly with a child's mother,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and his daughter and I became besties. When she came
- 54:25Speaker 1: to visit. She stayed at my house and we did
- 54:27Speaker 1: our nails and other girly things the whole weekend. She
- 54:31Speaker 1: was a sweetheart. As she got older, her dad visited
- 54:34Speaker 1: her more often to attend her soccer games. We were
- 54:38Speaker 1: still very close and she called me all the time
- 54:41Speaker 1: to check in and chat with me. Last month, she
- 54:44Speaker 1: was at her dad's house when he proposed to me.
- 54:47Speaker 1: After he asked me to marry him. She yelled no
- 54:50Speaker 1: and ran from the room. I want to talk to her,
- 54:53Speaker 1: and she said that she loves me as a friend,
- 54:56Speaker 1: but she does not want me to marry her dad.
- 54:59Speaker 1: She's a eleven years old now, so I figured she's
- 55:02Speaker 1: old enough to know that marriage was always in the
- 55:05Speaker 1: plan for her dad and I. She said, you ain't
- 55:08Speaker 1: my stepmama, and you won't ever be my stepmama. I
- 55:12Speaker 1: was shocked by her reaction and what came next. She
- 55:17Speaker 1: said that her dad spends the night at her house
- 55:20Speaker 1: when he comes to visit her, and he stays in
- 55:22Speaker 1: her mom's room. I want to ask my man, and
- 55:25Speaker 1: he put his head in his hands and started crying.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I FaceTime the mom and she told me that my
- 55:32Speaker 1: man's been sending mixed signals. She would not confirm or
- 55:36Speaker 1: deny that they had sex. He swears that he sleeps
- 55:39Speaker 1: on the couch. And I know his daughter knows a
- 55:42Speaker 1: lot more, but he told me to leave her out
- 55:45Speaker 1: of it. She started all of this, So why can't
- 55:48Speaker 1: I ask her? You can't ask her crazy because she's
- 55:53Speaker 1: a child. Okay, you're an adult. Talk to the adults
- 55:56Speaker 1: in this situation. Sorry, this eleven year old told you
- 56:00Speaker 1: all that because of course she doesn't want you to
- 56:02Speaker 1: marry her dad. You have enough information. You have a
- 56:07Speaker 1: lot of information. Your fiance sleeps at his mom's house,
- 56:12Speaker 1: at her mom's house, in her mom's room, according to her,
- 56:16Speaker 1: when he's there, and the one night stand mother of
- 56:21Speaker 1: the child, the baby mama may not tell you. She
- 56:24Speaker 1: may not confirm or deny that they're having sex. She's
- 56:27Speaker 1: tricky like that, But they probably are if he's sleeping
- 56:30Speaker 1: in the room. He says, he's sleeping in the couch,
- 56:32Speaker 1: but he's still sleeping in her house. Why couldn't he
- 56:34Speaker 1: get a hotel room, you know, if there's nothing going
- 56:37Speaker 1: on otherwise, I don't understand why he's sleeping in a room.
- 56:40Speaker 1: So again, talk to the grown folks. Leave this baby
- 56:44Speaker 1: out of it. Yeah, you know, she said that, and
- 56:47Speaker 1: she's upset and everything, and that's where you should leave it.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Don't bother her with this. She's only eleven years old,
- 56:54Speaker 1: she's not grown. You don't need to be talking to
- 56:56Speaker 1: her about this. Your man said leave her out of it.
- 56:59Speaker 1: That's his daughter. I think you should take his advice
- 57:02Speaker 1: and leave her out of it. Find out what you
- 57:04Speaker 1: know from him and the baby. Mama, Steve, you ain't
- 57:08Speaker 1: my step mama? Always something little smart mouth kids somewhere
- 57:16Speaker 1: calling shots. Two adults that's trying to make their life better.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Another letter like this, Well, your man after he proposed
- 57:34Speaker 1: found out he had a baby from a woman he
- 57:36Speaker 1: had a one night stand with, took oppaternity test. Is
- 57:40Speaker 1: his you. We used to drive him down there, three
- 57:43Speaker 1: hours away to see the baby, wonderful child, and he
- 57:48Speaker 1: was friendly with the child's mother. I don't know why,
- 57:52Speaker 1: but I guess since you're going down there, might as
- 57:54Speaker 1: well trying to be friends. You know these things almost
- 57:58Speaker 1: never work out, but you know, relations for trying, and
- 58:02Speaker 1: the daughter and you became besties. I don't really become
- 58:10Speaker 1: friends with kids because they fickle, And the main reason
- 58:15Speaker 1: is we ain't got nothing incoming. I'll give it. Damn.
- 58:18Speaker 1: If you do need your nails done, that don't make
- 58:22Speaker 1: her friends. So you went on. You got your nails
- 58:26Speaker 1: and girly things. She was a sweetheart, and as she
- 58:31Speaker 1: got older, the dad visited her more often to go
- 58:35Speaker 1: to soccer games and stuff. Y'all still close, called ya
- 58:39Speaker 1: all the time to talk. Now here's where it got tricky.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Last month she was at her dad's house. Now, the
- 58:49Speaker 1: guy at them proposed to you. You all obviously have
- 58:51Speaker 1: separate places. So she was at her dad's house when
- 58:56Speaker 1: he proposed to me. Then he asked you to marry him.
- 59:00Speaker 1: She yelled no and ran from the room. Then you
- 59:06Speaker 1: went to talk to you, and she said, she loves
- 59:08Speaker 1: me as a friend, but she does not want me
- 59:12Speaker 1: to marry her dad. Do you know why she don't
- 59:16Speaker 1: want you to marry her dad? Because she has aspirations
- 59:23Speaker 1: of your dad, her dad marrying her mother, and she'll
- 59:28Speaker 1: have her two favorite people, which are her parents in
- 59:32Speaker 1: one house. Kids have delusional thoughts like this all the time.
- 59:39Speaker 1: So you figured she eleven years old, she old enough
- 59:43Speaker 1: to know that marriage is always in the plan for
- 59:46Speaker 1: her dad or not. Well, but you didn't know what
- 59:50Speaker 1: was in her plans, her plans, and she figured, you know,
- 59:55Speaker 1: her daddy would give it her mama. Now she dropped
- 59:58Speaker 1: a bomb on you and told you that Danny stay
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: in the room with her mama. When we come back,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you why this letter is. Can all
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: go to hell from this point on? All right, we'll
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: have heard two of Steve's response coming up at twenty
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry Letters, subject you
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Ain't my Stepmama. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject you ain't my Stepmama.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: This man has a that has proposed to the letter
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: writer has a daughter from a one night stand turns
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: out as his. They had started traveling to visit his child.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: The woman that wrote this letter would take him three
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: hours away. Has had a friendly relationship with the mother,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: and her and the daughter became besties, and they get
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: their nails done. They had wonderful weekends. The girl has
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: been a sweetheart. Well, time goes on. He's been spending
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: more time with the daughter because going to a soccer
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: games and stuff. And so he proposed to the letter
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: writer at his house. The letter writer and the man
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: who are engaged, living separate home. She proposed in front
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: of the girl, will you marry me? The girl said
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: no and ran out the room and said, she does
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: not want me to marry her dad. So she's and
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: then I'm telling you the reason she don't want you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: to marry a daddish because she has plans for her
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: dad and her mama to be married. That's all it is.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: So now you go in there and try to reason
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: with her, telling her the marriage has always been in
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: the plan for her dad. Now she said, you ain't
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: my stepmama, and you won't ever be my stepmoma. Well
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: she's being certain about that, because how you gonna be
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: my stepmama if my dadda and my mama get married. See,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: she Levin, So she don't know how to tell you
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: the whole story. She just told you you ain't gonna
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: ever be And then you got shocked by her reaction
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: where it came up. She said, now let me tell
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: you why I'm saying all this. Hell. My daddy spends
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the night at our house when he comes to visit,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and he's staying my mom's room. Now, he would have
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: let her take a dump turn. I went and asked
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: my man, and he put his head in his hands
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: and started crying. I be dog, why did you do that?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: You're disappointed? Dog. You couldn't have held it together until
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: later on that night in the bathroom by yourself. You
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: could have went out in the Carnie garage and head
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: that moment. I understand we had all done some things
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: and made ourselves cry. Ain't that right? J Man? Hallelujah? Yeah,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: they don't ever cry, But you don't cry in front
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: of him when they come to you with just an accusation,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: damn what you're doing in here? They room sleeping? And
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: then he put his head and started crying. Then she
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: FaceTime the woman and she told me that my man
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: has been sending mixed signals. She wouldn't confirm or deny
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: that they had sex. Now he tried to fix it.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Now that's too late. Now you had your hand in
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: your head in your hand, crying, and she then FaceTime
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: your damn girl. And now here he goes, this is
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: this is fixed right here? He swears he sleeps on
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: the couch. It's too late for that. And after you cried,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: that's like a boy. What is it? No? Why he
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: can't crying? And the eleven year old don't have a
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: fact straight? The couch is in the bedroom whatever they

- 1:03:58Speaker 1: it out, Steve, I love and you know I sleep

- 1:04:03Speaker 1: come out and see me legs all over sleeping on
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the couch out in Now, that's why I'm in Now.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I can't stand huh. She was number the one night
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: stand for me learn how to hold yourself together. And
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: then she says, I know his daughter knows a whole
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: lot more, but he told me to leave her out
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: of it. She started all this? Or why can't I
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: ask her? Shelley told you, why are you talking to
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: any eleven year old? Ain't she told you enough. She
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: got enough information, You got all the information. He cried
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: with his head and his head were gonna be. This
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: ain't the time for that. Do you cry when you
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: buy yourself? Come on, I love it with what I
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: was wanted to go that fall. You're laying that shout

- 1:05:24Speaker 1: my chest and I ain't know what to do, so
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I you know, wasn't she nicked me on my chest.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I didn't know what to do. I was holding her
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: about it back of her head, kissing me hard. He

- 1:09:22Speaker 1: know that ain't her name. But you know that ain't
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: her name. You clearly know that you already know that

- 1:09:35Speaker 1: the time. I didn't even know you. It's crazy. It's
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: better than boxing. It is, Oh my gosh, it is.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: It is better than boxing. Man, I'm telling you, I
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: can't wait for you. Ain't two sixty two. It's better
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: than boxing. S all right, all right, junior, you made
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: a believer out of me. Thank you for that. I'm
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour comedy Roulette
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: with the guys right after this you're listening to show.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: All right, guys, time now for comedy Roulette. Quick disclaimer please,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: jay or explanation. Here's how it go. We take three subjects,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: We put them on a wheel. We spund the wheel
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: where it stopped because we comedians will make it funny.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Watch us do it. Watch what we do all right,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: thank you, Jay. And today's categories are things you say
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: because the check is late, dumb conversations neighbors come up with.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Or things losers say to congratulate winners at the Academy Awards,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: which of course we're last night. Okay, yeah, all right,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: let's spend the wheel. Neighbors, I love neighbors, I love oh, okay,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: and honor of the Academy Awards. Things losers say to
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: congratulate winners at the Academy Awards. Let's go guy, all right,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: here we go, comedy. Let things losers say, you know
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: he only one because you black. That's the only reason
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: you want. He went there at the gate. The gate,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: they say, when you losing the Academy Wards, you know
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: God headed in the plans for you, just beautiful, than
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: bring the Lord in the junior. I like this, say
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: to the winner's Academy Awards, you know what they gave
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: it because they gave it you because they thank you
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: for to die. So that's really what this was all about.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I mean, he's just trying to give you your trophy
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: while you living. That's all this was man's things. Losers
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: safe to congratulate winners at the Academy Awards, Steve, you
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: won that thing, didn't you? Yeah, I ain't happy enough
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: you won that thing, didn't you? Comedy let Things losers
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: say to people who won, well, you know I already
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: got two of them. Is by time you win something,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you lose every damn thing. Wow, people say these things.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: When you lose. You're talking to the winners, you say, hey,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: you know what your suit was better than mine. That's
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: why you got it, don't you know what? You know
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: what he is. If we'd have had Martin Scorse directed Alan,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: we'd have wanted to you know what I'm saying, Just hey,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: no your owner on your own film, daddy people. Things
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: losers say to congratulate winners at the Academy Awards, Steve Harvey,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: We just moved so I ain't got nowhere to put
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: it in no house, like ye. Things losers say to
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: the winners and when they don't win your movie, it
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: still suck. Okay, in my opinion, your movie it still sucks.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: How about that? Things losing say to the winners at
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: the Academy Award. You know when I cried, I knew
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: you was gonna win. When I cried. When I cried,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: I think he was gonna win. You know what it is, man,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: They they they met the quota, they weren't given up
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: and moment black people this year, that's what I won
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: because they were fine. Okay, that's what she said. Things
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: that losers say to congratulate winners at the Academy Awards.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Let's close it out, just the last war. Huh. You
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: know they called me for that role, but I was
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: I was taping Ready for Love that note. Okay, we'll
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: up Morning show coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Morning show. Trending news
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: from Louisville, Kentucky. Judge and Bailey Smith has pushed back
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the trial of ex police officer Brett Hankinson. If that
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: name sounds familiar, it should. Hankinson was the only officer
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: charged and that botched raid back in March of last
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: year that caused Brianna Taylor's murder. Judge Smith said, because
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: of a lack of a backlog of cases, I should
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: say due to COVID nineteen the pandemic, well, the case
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: has been pushed back from August to now February of
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: next year. Hankinson was one of the officers who fired
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: his weapon, and Hankinson was charged with wanton endangerment for
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: firing into a neighbor's apartment. None of the officers involved
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: were charged directly for Brianna Taylor's death. Hankinson and Miles
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Cosgrove were fired. However, Sergeant John matten Lee, the third
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: officer who fired his weapon that night, still remains on
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: the force. So the other two officers got fired. If
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you take the bullet that was in Brianna Taylor's body
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: and compare it to the muzzle prints on the shell casings,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: you could determine which gun fired that bullet that's in
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: that woman's body. Yeah, that's a fact, right, well, right,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: because each mule very unique, right. The black dude that
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: was hired by McConnell, Daniel Cameron, Yes, that's married to
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: his daughter some missing. All right, we gotta go, and
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: we'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after. Right after this. You're
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, Carla, let's talk oscars. The
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: oscars were last night, right, yes, yes, yes, yes, you

- 1:16:55Speaker 1: for Best Picture. Congratulations to um Francis McDermott and and
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Anthony Hopkins. They won Best Actor and Best Actress, so congratulations.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I wanted Andrew Day to win for United States versus
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Billy Holliday, but that's okay. I did too. I was
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: rooting for my girl, yes, and Yola Davis, I was,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: but my girls. Daniel Khaluya went home for Best Supporting
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Actor for Judas and the Black Messiah, so congratulations to him.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: His speech was crazy, fun, all right. He said thank
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: you to my mom and dad for having sex, for
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: having me. His mom and sister were there and they
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: just both put their heads down, like did he really
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: say that same? Yes, congratulations to her for a fight
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: for you from Judas and the Black Messiah. That one
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: for Best Song, and congratulations. We love Tyler Perry so much.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Tyler Perry one. Yeah, the gene Her Schultz you man,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Terry an award. His speech was great. Basically he was saying,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: resist hate. Did you see Holly Berry Yes peak dress
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Rockley Peak, Yes, Yes, Yes, it was different, it was different.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Beautiful beautiful dress. Speaking of beautiful dresses. Oh my god,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Regina King, I saw the show for me. She did
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: it for me as well. Carla, she opened the oscars
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: referred to George Floyd. I mean her, everything she did
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: was so poignant last night. She looked beautiful, she spoke amazingly.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: It was just awesome. I loved Angela Bassett's dress. I'll
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: take a lesson. We do have, Regina King. All right,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: let's do it. It has been quite a year and
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: we are still smack dab in the middle of it.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: We are mourning the loss of so many and I
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: have to be honest, if things had gone differently this
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: past week in Minneapolis, I might have traded in my
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: heels for marching boots. Yeah. I know, oh Dad, A
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: lot of you people at home want to reach for
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: your remote when you feel like Hollywood is preaching to you.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: But as a mother of a black son, I know
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: the fear that so many live with, and no amount
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: of fame of fortune changes that. Okay, fantastic, Yeah, congratulations
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: again to Regina King. Honorable mention goes to Glenn Close
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: for doing the butt Yes with littarell alry like sex
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: a little dress and all baby did it. She did
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: it was love was on point with the music. It
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: was just you know, I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: It was a good show. And shout out again like
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: you say it to quest Love his movie, his documentary
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: and Summer of Soul coming out. Yeah, all right, that's
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Oscar Talk coming up. At forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: we'll have some closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the day on this Monday, and time now for some
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey. Well,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: you know, I don't, I don't really all I've been
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: thinking about a lot of things, you know, and I
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: was thinking of just on a positive tip, you know,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: to just kind of just always encourage people to stay
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: with it. You know. Oftentimes you know when you are
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: you know, when you have dreams and aspirations, all of us,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: from time to time they get sidelined. All of our
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: dreams and aspiration takes a hit along the way to
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: attain in them. And there's always a detool on the way.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: There's always some confusion, a set of barrels set up.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: It's just really hard to see a vision from start
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: to finish scott free with no troubles. So if you're
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: in that position today and you're finding yourself waning in
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: your dreams and visions, it seems like it's just not
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: happening the way you want it. I want you to
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: understand it's not going to happen just the way you
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: want it. That is the way it works. And I
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: know that's not great news, but it's the truth. Nobody
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: gets where they want to be in life just the
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: way they want it. So if you're thinking that you're
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: gonna get the Scott free that you will just have
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: a smooth sailing, that's not the way it works. Life
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: isn't designed that way. So factor in the fact that
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: you are going to have troubles and difficulties along the way.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: And if you stopped your visions or dreams because of
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: that reason, right there, the rule is simple. Here's the rule.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: You can start again today. You can just start again
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: today and guess what, you don't need anybody's permission. All
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: you have to do is rewrite your dreams down on
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: your vision board, rererereclaim victory, ask God for your helping,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: your strength, and get back to making your dreams and
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: visions come true for your life. You all, listen to me.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Stop waking up just going about the day seeing how
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: it's going without any projects, without any visions, without any aspirations,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: without a plan to attain the things that you really
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: want in life. Stop waking up like that with nothing
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: to do. Make a plan at night, pray about it,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: ask God for help. You know, no, look, when you rake,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: when you make your plan, that's just the request. You're
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: asking God to help you come true. Now to how
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: you get there. It's gonna be difficult. It's going to
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: be difficult, but once you started, that is no one
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: who says you can. So y'all just get back into pocket,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: get back up on the horse, get back to dreaming again,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: get back to wanting to hope and to believe in again.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Don't let the setbacks and the troubles of life stop you,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: because I got news for you. You're gonna always have them.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: You're going to always have them. And like today, man,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: even though I'm still in Africa, I just went back
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: through my phone because what I do is when I
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: see motivational phrases or scriptures that really register with me,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I take my phone out and I take her the
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: picture of it. And then I've created this album in
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: my photo section called motivation, and I file all those
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: picture is in my motivational thing. And when I find
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: myself wavering, feeling a little uncertain, feeling a little shaky
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: about decisions, I go back to my motivational folder in
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: my photos, and I just started reading the little quotes
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I got in there. I just started going down the line.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: I've got some stuff in there, man, that I've had
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: in there for years. Man, But I can still read
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: from time to time, you know, like like, for example,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I was today I read this when it says I
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: can't cry about having a lot on my plate when
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: my whole goal was to eat. I can't cry about
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: having a whole lot on my plate when my whole
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: goal was to eat. And man, I find myself doing that.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Not tell my lord, I'm over burdened, Man, I'm tired.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: You know, I got all this, I got all that. Hey, Steve,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: did you hear yourself? You got all this and got
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: all that what you're tripping for? And I gathered myself,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you know, and then you know, you know, I have
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: a lot of stuff in there. Like. One of them
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: I read to day was, oh my bad, I'm sorry
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: for bothering you. I forgot. I only exist when you
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: need me for something. That's God tell me, oh my bad,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: I'm sorry for bothering you. I forgot. I don't exist
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: when you need me for something. I have all these
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: little things, man, that always motivate me. Here's another one.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Winners are not people who never fail, but people who
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: never quite Failure is a failure is a part of
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: the process. Here's another one. I have not failed. I've
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: just found ten thousand ways that don't work. Thomas Edison.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I have not failed. I just found ten thousand ways
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: that don't work. Do you see? Success isn't how far
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: you got, but the distance you travel from where you started.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: That's a proverb. And I just keep stuff like that,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: and you know, always. And last one I read this
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: morning was I want to inspire people. I want someone
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: to look at me and say, because of you, I
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: didn't give up. Yeah, that's always been important to me.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: So y'all, stay motivated, stay the cause, find a way
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: to self motivate yourself when you down, and get back
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: to dreaming and believe in again. Those are my clothing
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: and Morse. Y'all have a nice stay received them all.
