- 1:49Speaker 5: Look come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out. You'll think, uh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You are listening to the voice, Come on now, dig
- 2:08Speaker 6: me one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: What God doing, y'all?
- 2:14Speaker 6: Huh?
- 2:16Speaker 1: What he doing?
- 2:16Speaker 6: What he doing in your life? He doing something? He moving,
- 2:19Speaker 6: he working. Don't lose your patience though, see I did
- 2:23Speaker 6: that before. Don't lose your patience. Don't get so sick
- 2:29Speaker 6: of waiting that you take matters into your own hands.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it. Listen to me.
- 2:36Speaker 6: You're listening to somebody who's done it that way. I
- 2:40Speaker 6: had a dream, I had a vision. I had some hope,
- 2:43Speaker 6: I have some faith, I have some aspirations. But I
- 2:47Speaker 6: got a little impatient waiting on it. So I tried
- 2:49Speaker 6: a couple other things. Move it along, boy, I can't
- 2:53Speaker 6: tell you how I messed it up. Then I messed
- 2:55Speaker 6: it up. Then, because God gave me the power of decision,
- 2:58Speaker 6: what I had to do was then after I took
- 3:00Speaker 6: matters into my own hand, messed it up. Now I
- 3:03Speaker 6: guess what. He still got something from me. But nah,
- 3:07Speaker 6: I gotta fix all the mistakes now, I gotta straighten
- 3:09Speaker 6: them out. I gotta suffer some consequences. I gotta pay
- 3:13Speaker 6: for my transgressions, all of that, All of that, it's
- 3:16Speaker 6: gotta go down. You can't do something wrong and not
- 3:21Speaker 6: pay for it. It's just you call it, calma, call
- 3:24Speaker 6: it whatever you want to call it. Every action has
- 3:27Speaker 6: an equal and opposite reaction every action. If it just
- 3:33Speaker 6: stays sunny all the time, you might think it's cool,
- 3:35Speaker 6: but there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 6: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:41Speaker 6: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:46Speaker 6: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 6: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 6: You need the rain so you can nourish the roots
- 3:55Speaker 6: so that sun can it can soak up the sun
- 3:58Speaker 6: and get the benefit of the sun.
- 4:00Speaker 1: If you don't get the opposite.
- 4:01Speaker 6: You got a problem, man, and it happens throughout nature,
- 4:04Speaker 6: It happens throughout your life.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Don't think that you can do wrong and not have
- 4:10Speaker 1: to pay for that. You think this is man.
- 4:14Speaker 6: We think man, because we'd have made a decision that
- 4:17Speaker 6: we think is best for us, and no matter how
- 4:19Speaker 6: to affect nobody else, we got the right to make
- 4:21Speaker 6: that call.
- 4:22Speaker 1: No, you don't.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the
- 4:26Speaker 6: gang life, telling you, yeah, man, you need to be
- 4:29Speaker 6: this way to be down with us. I'll tell you what.
- 4:31Speaker 6: Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang. See how
- 4:33Speaker 6: many of them be there for you. Oh they'll go
- 4:36Speaker 6: around the corner with you and start shooting. But look, okay,
- 4:39Speaker 6: when it's time to do some time and they can
- 4:42Speaker 6: lessen they sentence, you gonna get that time. They gonna
- 4:45Speaker 6: point their finger dead at you. I watched for eight
- 4:47Speaker 6: hours all the time, man, I watch Lock Up Raw
- 4:49Speaker 6: all the time, all the time, man, all the time.
- 4:53Speaker 6: Ain't no real cold dudes out there, just holding to
- 4:56Speaker 6: the mantra and sticking to it. Even the mob turn
- 4:59Speaker 6: states evidence go fed all that. Now we in now
- 5:03Speaker 6: the hood, We didne created this ignorant mess called no snitching.
- 5:06Speaker 6: With that ignorant mess, you don't even understand. No snitching
- 5:09Speaker 6: was created by criminals as a cold of honor. If
- 5:13Speaker 6: you do dirt and you get busted doing the dirt,
- 5:15Speaker 6: don't bring my name up if I was with you.
- 5:17Speaker 6: That's a cold of honor amongst the thieves. Now, so
- 5:20Speaker 6: many code of honor thieves that then came out of prison.
- 5:23Speaker 6: They ain't got no honor. They done brought that stuff
- 5:24Speaker 6: back to the street. Now that's all in the neighborhood.
- 5:27Speaker 6: No snitching, No snitching, You got to be crazy. That's
- 5:30Speaker 6: for people who disobey the law. That's who people have
- 5:34Speaker 6: made a cold of honor amongst themselves as thieves. Hey, man,
- 5:37Speaker 6: if you get busted, don't drag me down. What you
- 5:39Speaker 6: just do your time. Oh man, you can't bring that
- 5:42Speaker 6: stuff out here to me. I'm a law biding citizen.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Dog. I'm trying to live right over here. Man.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I don't want no crack house up street from my
- 5:49Speaker 6: mama's house. I'm trying to do right out here. Man,
- 5:52Speaker 6: you can't do wrong and expect wrong not to come
- 5:55Speaker 6: to you. You got to make a decision every day
- 5:57Speaker 6: to do right. God ain't got no pingtui.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You on dirt.
- 6:01Speaker 6: You got what you got coming. You made a decision.
- 6:05Speaker 6: You go down there to get some you might get
- 6:08Speaker 6: got See, we got to come on. I'm talking to
- 6:12Speaker 6: so many men out here right now. I should have
- 6:14Speaker 6: said that in the beginning, but a conversation that kind
- 6:16Speaker 6: of got away from me. I was gonna talk to
- 6:18Speaker 6: you about something else this morning. But it's just only man.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Because our communities. Man, it's just going to the pot man,
- 6:24Speaker 6: because it ain't nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody
- 6:29Speaker 6: care when they see the young dude over there doing wrong?
- 6:31Speaker 6: Look at them, foods over the man, Go over there
- 6:33Speaker 6: and talk to one of them. Pull them to the side.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Man.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You might not be able to approach the group, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man. Let
- 6:41Speaker 1: me talk to you. I saw you the other day.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:43Speaker 6: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:45Speaker 6: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 6: Let me share something I learned I was doing what
- 6:50Speaker 6: you was doing.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You know.
- 6:51Speaker 6: It's like Tommy did a prank phone call one time
- 6:53Speaker 6: as a limo driver and the dude the prank was
- 6:58Speaker 6: he called this limo company, asked this limo driver to
- 7:02Speaker 6: take him to this location late at night, and the
- 7:06Speaker 6: limo driver got a young business he going, yeah.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Okay, I got you.
- 7:09Speaker 6: I don't normally work like that. But how long you
- 7:11Speaker 6: need it? He said for just about a hour. He said, well,
- 7:13Speaker 6: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 7:15Speaker 6: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 7:18Speaker 6: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 7:20Speaker 6: give you a break.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Young man. You're trying to do something.
- 7:22Speaker 6: Where you want to go? He gave an address. The
- 7:25Speaker 6: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 6: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 7:31Speaker 6: twelve thirty at night. He said, yeah, and I'm gonna
- 7:35Speaker 6: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 7:37Speaker 6: out that bank, I need for you to flow it.
- 7:41Speaker 1: That to do with the limo. He stopped writing.
- 7:43Speaker 6: He said, hold on, hold on, man, you want me
- 7:47Speaker 6: to take you to a bank twelve thirty at night.
- 7:50Speaker 6: You gonna be in there for a few minutes and
- 7:52Speaker 6: you gonna come out, and you want me to flow it.
- 7:55Speaker 6: He said, sir, I don't do stuff like that. He said,
- 7:58Speaker 6: you got the wrong company. He said, what made you here?
- 8:00Speaker 6: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 8:02Speaker 6: limo come to you.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Just drive. He stopped and took the time out. He said,
- 8:06Speaker 1: young man, let me tell you something. He said.
- 8:09Speaker 6: I've been down before, I've been locked up before. It
- 8:12Speaker 6: ain't pretty. He said, that's what's wrong with you young
- 8:15Speaker 6: people today. Instead of going to get a job, trying
- 8:17Speaker 6: to work your way, you always looking for some fast money.
- 8:20Speaker 6: He said, I'm gonna tell you what I already know.
- 8:22Speaker 6: Don't go down there messing with them people's money like
- 8:24Speaker 6: that because they love that money way more than they
- 8:26Speaker 6: love you, and they gonna do something to you down there.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Now. You stop this foolishness.
- 8:30Speaker 6: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 8:33Speaker 6: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money
- 8:38Speaker 6: because it ain't gonna go good. They gonna take care
- 8:41Speaker 6: of their business when they come to that money. Tommy
- 8:43Speaker 6: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 8:45Speaker 6: the limito. It was a plank phone call. But the
- 8:47Speaker 6: point I'm making is the man took our time. He
- 8:50Speaker 6: could have just hung the phone up.
- 8:51Speaker 1: But you know what he said.
- 8:52Speaker 6: He said, hold up, young man, let me hip you
- 8:54Speaker 6: to something. Because the brother had been locked up before.
- 8:57Speaker 6: He said, no, no, no, see, I've done that when
- 8:59Speaker 6: I was young. I'm gonna stop it. I'm gonna take
- 9:01Speaker 6: some moment out to tell you. I'm up here, working man,
- 9:03Speaker 6: trying to earn an honest living. I ain't going back
- 9:05Speaker 6: down there because I don't. They make you eat what
- 9:08Speaker 6: they want you to eat.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You don't want the food.
- 9:10Speaker 6: You got to get up when they say get up.
- 9:11Speaker 6: You gotta stay where they say stay, live with who
- 9:13Speaker 6: they say live. He said, man, you don't want that,
- 9:16Speaker 6: and he just tried to talk the young man out
- 9:18Speaker 6: of me. You can change a young man's mind with
- 9:21Speaker 6: a conversation. A conversation can change a young man's mind.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Most of these young men that are misguided ain't having
- 9:28Speaker 6: conversations with real men.
- 9:30Speaker 1: They just not having them.
- 9:32Speaker 6: And it's up to us, who know what manhood is is,
- 9:34Speaker 6: to start delivering the message the problem that we have
- 9:37Speaker 6: in our communities we can solve ourselves, and to escalate
- 9:40Speaker 6: it to a point because we who are men, won't
- 9:43Speaker 6: stop on our corporate climb and our day to day
- 9:46Speaker 6: making money and trying to ball out. We won't stop
- 9:49Speaker 6: and grab some of these young soldiers and tell them
- 9:51Speaker 6: the truth about manhood.
- 9:53Speaker 1: That's the real deal. Okay, sah, I went there. I
- 9:55Speaker 1: don't know where they came from.
- 9:59Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Ladies, ladies and gentlemen. Ladies, ladies and gentlemen. Okay, last time,
- 10:10Speaker 6: this is it. I ain't gonna lie. Ladies and gentlemen, boys,
- 10:18Speaker 6: all the girls, truck driving, waste management, love, postal workers.
- 10:24Speaker 6: I'm talking about when they mad though, that postal worker,
- 10:28Speaker 6: all them happy people down at the DMV. What is
- 10:31Speaker 6: wrong today? Well, my message today is everybody work at
- 10:36Speaker 6: the DMV that has that attitude, get your attitude together,
- 10:40Speaker 6: amer because.
- 10:40Speaker 1: God is still good here.
- 10:41Speaker 6: And the blessing dizziness you put in the application for
- 10:45Speaker 6: that job that is not our fault.
- 10:49Speaker 1: We love you, we need your services today. We want
- 10:52Speaker 1: you to have a brighter day to day.
- 10:54Speaker 6: My wish is that people at work in motor vehicle
- 10:57Speaker 6: divisions all over the country have a better day today.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Or I know we coming in that ignorant. I know
- 11:04Speaker 6: we ain't got our paperwork. I know we ain't got
- 11:06Speaker 6: our title registration. I know we'd have lost our tag.
- 11:09Speaker 6: I know all that, but try to treat us better.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Just try. Let your church say, man.
- 11:17Speaker 6: Hey, man, Charlie Strauberry callin Frail mountfa of South Junior
- 11:23Speaker 6: Boy better known as Kid's Face and the legend that
- 11:26Speaker 6: is nephew Tommy.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah, boy, Junior, what's happening today? Let me tell you something,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you know.
- 11:33Speaker 9: I don't mind taking advice from you on you know
- 11:36Speaker 9: you y'all don't mind that because you live the longer,
- 11:38Speaker 9: you're in a better position. You know, you've done a
- 11:41Speaker 9: lot more. So I don't mind taking them. But everybody
- 11:44Speaker 9: should try to give everybody advice. Like my Pott caught
- 11:47Speaker 9: me over to his house the other day, which I
- 11:48Speaker 9: thought was his house.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I go over there.
- 11:51Speaker 9: Man, were watching basketball, and he trying to tell me
- 11:53Speaker 9: what he expected to tell me about what I need
- 11:56Speaker 9: to do with.
- 11:57Speaker 10: My life and my career.
- 11:58Speaker 9: He talking to me, But the middle of us talking,
- 12:01Speaker 9: I hear voice coming from upstairs. As we in the basement. Hey,
- 12:04Speaker 9: another boy's call, say Charle, come up here and get
- 12:07Speaker 9: the groceries out of the car.
- 12:08Speaker 10: I said, man, who is that? He said, that's my mama.
- 12:11Speaker 9: I'm taking no advice when nobody live with they mama.
- 12:13Speaker 9: I tell you right now, I'll get damn what you say.
- 12:15Speaker 9: You can't tell me a damn thing.
- 12:18Speaker 1: We couldn't.
- 12:18Speaker 9: He couldn't even get that advice out because she kept
- 12:20Speaker 9: calling back down, said Charle, you've been messing with the thermostat.
- 12:23Speaker 9: But I said, okay, right here, see it right here way.
- 12:26Speaker 9: I can't take no invice from you. Hey, the damn
- 12:28Speaker 9: thing you can tell me because you sitting up here
- 12:30Speaker 9: and living at your mama house in the baby you
- 12:32Speaker 9: told me that was your crib, No the basement, your
- 12:35Speaker 9: this is your mama hot see out. When I found
- 12:38Speaker 9: out you're gonna telling about man, I appreciate wherever they chalk. See,
- 12:43Speaker 9: we couldn't even get that advice in because your mama
- 12:45Speaker 9: on your hind the whole time. Don't tell me what
- 12:48Speaker 9: you think I need to do with my life. If
- 12:49Speaker 9: you're living at your mama, baby, we can't take it.
- 12:52Speaker 9: Invite for everybody, it ain't the same coming bunk, Steven, Tommy,
- 12:54Speaker 9: it ain't the same coming for sure, the same come
- 12:57Speaker 9: of call. See, they don't live nobody, they got placed.
- 13:00Speaker 9: You need to start listening to me.
- 13:02Speaker 1: What you need to start.
- 13:05Speaker 10: Start starting listening.
- 13:07Speaker 1: To me, he even control his own heat.
- 13:11Speaker 9: No, he can't do none of that. You have the
- 13:14Speaker 9: tallest seat up again. See right here, you got all
- 13:17Speaker 9: the issues.
- 13:19Speaker 10: And you try to tell me something.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Upstairs.
- 13:25Speaker 10: You always got ill be back. I can't see, I
- 13:27Speaker 10: can't taint no advice.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I'm not right. A good one coming up and woman.
- 13:36Speaker 4: An hour you need.
- 13:38Speaker 3: We're gonna run that prank back with the nephew right after.
- 13:42Speaker 8: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Right now, it's time for the nephew to run that
- 13:48Speaker 3: prank back.
- 13:49Speaker 1: The title is Naked Lifeguard. Let's go catch Naked Lifeguard.
- 13:56Speaker 11: Hello.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Hello, I'm trying to reach a uh.
- 14:01Speaker 12: Yes, this is Carrie.
- 14:03Speaker 5: Hi Carrie. My name is Oliver. Oliver. You put in
- 14:06Speaker 5: an application with the employment agency about looking for some
- 14:10Speaker 5: work as far as being a lifeguard.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I did.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Okay. Have you had much experience being a lifeguard?
- 14:16Speaker 12: Yeah, I've been doing this for a while now, Bex,
- 14:20Speaker 12: since I was like eighteen I got my CPR certification.
- 14:26Speaker 12: I've had as many as like two hundred people at
- 14:30Speaker 12: one time watching them.
- 14:31Speaker 6: So I'm good.
- 14:32Speaker 12: I'm good at what I do.
- 14:33Speaker 5: I love it, very good, very good. Well, I'll tell
- 14:36Speaker 5: you what. I've looked over your application and I've checked
- 14:39Speaker 5: everything out thoroughly, and I'm very excited about maybe getting
- 14:43Speaker 5: you to I don't know if you're familiar with it,
- 14:45Speaker 5: but public pool. It's actually in subdivision. There's two pools there.
- 14:50Speaker 5: Are you familiar with Yeah.
- 14:52Speaker 12: I'm familiar with it. They're near where I live.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, Well there's actually in the back of there's
- 14:58Speaker 5: a gated community and and that is actually the particular
- 15:02Speaker 5: property that I'm talking about. You coming out and working
- 15:05Speaker 5: force there at the pool site. If we can get
- 15:09Speaker 5: you on Monday to Friday, we're going to actually hire
- 15:11Speaker 5: some more college students for Saturday and Sunday.
- 15:15Speaker 12: What do you say, Oh, I say, okay, that sounds great.
- 15:19Speaker 12: Monday weekends off.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, exactly. Now we start off job actually pays
- 15:25Speaker 5: twenty five dollars an hour.
- 15:28Speaker 12: Wow.
- 15:29Speaker 5: You would be our head lifeguard and we would want
- 15:33Speaker 5: you to be there from you know, I mean if
- 15:35Speaker 5: you start at twelve, we'd actually like you to get
- 15:37Speaker 5: there around eleven thirty, you know, just just to be
- 15:40Speaker 5: prepared and be the overseer and make sure the other
- 15:43Speaker 5: lifeguards get there on time. And you know, we'll go
- 15:46Speaker 5: from there.
- 15:46Speaker 6: Okay.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Now, carry there's only one catch that actually comes along
- 15:50Speaker 5: with this job. We want you to work an additional
- 15:54Speaker 5: four hours from six to ten at night, but it's
- 15:56Speaker 5: going to pay you fifty dollars per hour, so you'll
- 15:59Speaker 5: make an ex for two hundred dollars. How do you
- 16:01Speaker 5: feel about that?
- 16:02Speaker 2: Man?
- 16:02Speaker 12: I feel good. I mean, with the recession and everything,
- 16:06Speaker 12: I can use that money right now, especially during the summertime.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Okay, now here's the deal. This is in negated community,
- 16:13Speaker 5: like I told you before, but also it's going to
- 16:15Speaker 5: be adults at night, and they are actually going to
- 16:18Speaker 5: be swimming nude. What Yeah, they're going to be swimming
- 16:24Speaker 5: newd And what they asked is if they're going to
- 16:26Speaker 5: be swimming nude, they want to make sure that the
- 16:28Speaker 5: lifeguard that's protecting them is going to be nude as well.
- 16:34Speaker 12: Okay, I'm a certified lifeguard, I'm CPR certified, I'm a student.
- 16:40Speaker 12: I've had other jobs, but nudity wasn't on.
- 16:43Speaker 5: My resume, and I understand that wholeheartedly. But we're talking
- 16:48Speaker 5: about you possibly making seventeen hundred and fifty dollars a week.
- 16:51Speaker 5: How you feel about seventeen hundred and fifty a week
- 16:54Speaker 5: for your nursing school. I'm sure that'll definitely pay for
- 16:56Speaker 5: it throughout the entire summer. That should be a big help,
- 17:00Speaker 5: shouldn't it? Yeah? What? But I mean, I mean, are

- 23:11Speaker 1: You got the wrong chick though. Next question Shirley all right?
- 23:16Speaker 3: Moving on.
- 23:17Speaker 14: Tara in South Haven, Mississippi, says, I gave my husband
- 23:20Speaker 14: a hall pass because I had two surgeries back to
- 23:24Speaker 14: back and he was so sweet to me while I
- 23:26Speaker 14: was healing.
- 23:27Speaker 3: That was a year ago.
- 23:29Speaker 14: My best friend found out in the streets about his fling,
- 23:32Speaker 14: and without talking to me first, she confronted my husband
- 23:36Speaker 14: and tried to fight him I don't want her in
- 23:39Speaker 14: my personal business, but she's in it now, And how
- 23:42Speaker 14: should I explain this to her?
- 23:44Speaker 1: See?
- 23:44Speaker 6: I tell y'all all the time, when you see a
- 23:47Speaker 6: man somewhere, you find out something about a man that
- 23:50Speaker 6: ain't your business. Now, she'd had confronted this man about
- 23:54Speaker 6: fooling around on her girlfriend, well her girlfriend, and gave
- 23:58Speaker 6: him a Hall passed. He was so kind to her
- 24:01Speaker 6: doing surgery. If you could get a Hall pass for
- 24:05Speaker 6: kindness doing surgery, you know how many passes I'd have?
- 24:10Speaker 6: How many times I been kind? And better not go
- 24:13Speaker 6: in here talking about no damn hall pass? Okay, better
- 24:16Speaker 6: not bring it up ever.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And lady, why do you pass? How hall passes for kindness?
- 24:24Speaker 5: What?
- 24:25Speaker 6: What is that?
- 24:27Speaker 7: Oh?
- 24:27Speaker 1: You were kind to me, you get a Hall passed?
- 24:29Speaker 9: What?
- 24:30Speaker 7: Who are you?
- 24:31Speaker 1: Can I be?
- 24:32Speaker 6: You know?
- 24:32Speaker 9: How can I be?
- 24:34Speaker 5: No?
- 24:34Speaker 1: That don't make no sense.
- 24:36Speaker 6: Now, your girlfriend is simple. I don't I don't know
- 24:41Speaker 6: what you should say to her except this is not
- 24:43Speaker 6: your business, but she in it now? Do you want
- 24:47Speaker 6: to tell her how stupid you were by awarding him
- 24:50Speaker 6: a Hall pass? That you said it was okay? And
- 24:53Speaker 6: I'm gonna tell you something else. She ain't keeping it
- 24:55Speaker 6: to herself. She's telling other people. Wow, and your husband
- 25:01Speaker 6: didn't have to watch his step because his wife gave
- 25:04Speaker 6: him permission.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Yep. Facts.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not your business. It's not her business anyway.
- 25:10Speaker 1: It's not her business. But it ain't no woman's business.
- 25:14Speaker 6: But y'all always make it y'alls because she my girl,
- 25:17Speaker 6: because I would want to know, well, now here you go.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Now, I'll tell you what.
- 25:22Speaker 6: Let's let the women tell him what to do, because
- 25:24Speaker 6: y'all always talking about I would want to know. I
- 25:26Speaker 6: would tell her, well, now she trying to whoop her
- 25:29Speaker 6: husband's ass.
- 25:29Speaker 14: What would you do, Shirley, It's not my business. I
- 25:33Speaker 14: wouldn't do anything. I honest to god, I wouldn't do
- 25:35Speaker 14: a thing.
- 25:36Speaker 1: This is my business, is her bold face?
- 25:39Speaker 14: No, it's not in this particular situation. I wouldn't do anything.
- 25:43Speaker 14: I don't know what's going on in their house.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Okay, Carlin, what would you do? Try to fight the husband?
- 25:54Speaker 3: Carla be all in it?
- 25:56Speaker 1: My best friend, my best friend. Yeah yeah, so Charlote, Shirley,
- 26:04Speaker 1: you wouldn't tell your girlfriend. I would.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I'm not in this. I'm really not in this one.
- 26:08Speaker 6: I'm not in this so if your husband just happened,
- 26:11Speaker 6: but your husband, you wouldn't want to know from your girlfriend.
- 26:15Speaker 3: No, I would kill him.
- 26:16Speaker 1: But I'm asking you if you want your girlfriend to
- 26:20Speaker 1: tell you.
- 26:21Speaker 6: Uh, okay, that's contrary to everything you've ever said in
- 26:26Speaker 6: every strawberry that people want to point that there's no
- 26:29Speaker 6: changing on this ship.
- 26:30Speaker 1: No, no, no, you don't. You stay that damn same
- 26:36Speaker 1: on this sh We're not into changing on miss Sell.
- 26:39Speaker 1: We ride or dial.
- 26:40Speaker 3: But here, your bestie, your best My best friend just
- 26:48Speaker 3: got married. I'm not in their marriage.
- 26:50Speaker 14: No, okay, you see her husband cheating, you ain't gonna
- 26:54Speaker 14: say nothing.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I ain't mad at the answer. I like your answer,
- 27:00Speaker 1: but that's not what she's ever said. And I've always
- 27:06Speaker 1: said that I would say something just like I just said.
- 27:08Speaker 10: I'd probably be all in it.
- 27:12Speaker 6: I'm not in this one with a hall Well but yeah, Sureley,
- 27:16Speaker 6: But see Shirley, you don't know about the Hall past all.
- 27:20Speaker 1: You don't that.
- 27:21Speaker 3: But I'm just not in anybody else's relationship.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I don't have time for nobody else. I don't have
- 27:27Speaker 1: nothing to say.
- 27:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I saw my partner's girl somewhere in a little
- 27:31Speaker 6: strange looking position. I'm not going to tell his man
- 27:34Speaker 6: this here, yeah, position, well, you know, in a weird
- 27:40Speaker 6: you know, it looked like something was going on, but
- 27:43Speaker 6: I couldn't. But I already knew if I want to
- 27:45Speaker 6: tell him that he was going to jail, I already
- 27:48Speaker 6: knew that if I tell this food.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Case. Yeah, like I said, it depends on who it is.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Best friend though, that's that's like my sister to me
- 28:01Speaker 1: for me ready, Okay, all right?
- 28:04Speaker 14: Moving on, Cathedra and Topeka says, my boyfriend has a
- 28:08Speaker 14: habit of sending several women a good morning text before
- 28:11Speaker 14: he starts his day. He does it freely and doesn't
- 28:14Speaker 14: think it's a problem. I think it's the first step
- 28:17Speaker 14: in cheating.
- 28:18Speaker 3: And I'm jealous. Am I overthinking it?
- 28:20Speaker 15: Or?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Is this cheating?
- 28:22Speaker 4: Man?
- 28:23Speaker 1: Come on? How does word?
- 28:24Speaker 14: What?
- 28:24Speaker 6: What are y'all doing nowadays? What relationships y'all got? What
- 28:28Speaker 6: y'all allowing up in here? What is these new rules
- 28:32Speaker 6: that you can text three women in the morning and
- 28:34Speaker 6: wish them good morning?
- 28:35Speaker 14: What?
- 28:37Speaker 1: I don't know who can do that?
- 28:39Speaker 6: Shirley texts me every single day, Shirley Strawberry. She texts
- 28:43Speaker 6: me scriptures every morning. I asked, Shirley I said, Shirley,
- 28:47Speaker 6: do me a favor. Text me a scripture every morning.
- 28:51Speaker 6: Shirley texts me a scripture every single morning. I was
- 28:55Speaker 6: on vacation and didn't quite see the name Shirley. Because
- 29:01Speaker 6: Shirley's text comes with a strawberry next to her name.
- 29:05Speaker 1: And a heart. I deleted it for psyche purposes because
- 29:14Speaker 1: I would lurry and I didn't know what saying Shirley
- 29:17Speaker 1: looked like Sheila, and I didn't need it. The emojic
- 29:20Speaker 1: scar at a heart and a strawberry.
- 29:28Speaker 3: All right, thank you, sello, you're listening.
- 29:34Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 29:37Speaker 14: According to a new Planet Fitness study, women actually prefer
- 29:42Speaker 14: the dad bod over six pack abs.
- 29:45Speaker 1: All right, thank god for that.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I know you're welcome, guys.
- 29:50Speaker 14: Yeah, the results of the Planet Fitness study suggest that
- 29:54Speaker 14: women are still being driven wild by a bit of
- 29:57Speaker 14: extra pudge. Of The survey recent revealed that, contrary to
- 30:01Speaker 14: what you might have believed, women do actually prefer a
- 30:04Speaker 14: man with a little bit of belly on them. Okay, man,
- 30:11Speaker 14: but that begs the question, Yeah, is this a double
- 30:14Speaker 14: standard though? Because because do men prefer a woman with
- 30:19Speaker 14: a little belly with the mom bod? So you don't care.
- 30:26Speaker 1: As long as you ain't French.
- 30:28Speaker 13: What what was that?
- 30:30Speaker 6: As long as you ain't father, and I ain't got
- 30:45Speaker 6: no problem with mom bod, I don't. I don't you know,
- 30:47Speaker 6: I don't you know, especially you know Mom Bob. Women
- 30:51Speaker 6: have babies, their body's gonna change. Well, that's all the
- 30:55Speaker 6: way back.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good.
- 30:56Speaker 14: That's good to hear, because you know, there's so much
- 30:59Speaker 14: pressure on under physical lawyrence, and.
- 31:03Speaker 3: You know, their bodies and all of that. It ain't
- 31:05Speaker 3: meant us to be so perfect.
- 31:08Speaker 1: But yeah, we're telling you.
- 31:09Speaker 14: Man.
- 31:09Speaker 6: My wife's hairdresser was at the house one time. Her
- 31:13Speaker 6: husband dropped him off. Real big guy man, I'm talking about,
- 31:17Speaker 6: really really overweight, nice guy man. I liked him and
- 31:20Speaker 6: his wife. His wife used to be my wife's head
- 31:22Speaker 6: and she cut her hair. You know, she was a stylist.
- 31:25Speaker 6: She cut into the hair little Halley Beer had cut.
- 31:28Speaker 6: And she was over the house kind of quiet one
- 31:30Speaker 6: day and Marge said it was mom. She said, he's
- 31:34Speaker 6: in here arguing with this food.
- 31:36Speaker 1: She said, my husband. You know, he saw my head.
- 31:38Speaker 1: He ain't like it. He come talking about he liked
- 31:40Speaker 1: long hair. I told him, Hell, I like muscles.
- 31:45Speaker 6: Just got what we like, but we got over there.
- 31:51Speaker 6: She said, well, I like muscles, but we got each
- 31:53Speaker 6: other though.
- 31:55Speaker 5: Deal.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Well about you like long hair? She said, hell, I
- 31:58Speaker 1: like muscles.
- 32:03Speaker 3: That shut it down.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but it is.
- 32:07Speaker 14: Yeah, I thought it would be more of a double
- 32:10Speaker 14: standard because I know men are so visual.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I don't care that woman has a Would you say,
- 32:17Speaker 1: I don't care that woman has a six pack?
- 32:19Speaker 6: But what is that?
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's nice to look at it, but you know that
- 32:23Speaker 1: a requirement for us six and my two that don't
- 32:26Speaker 1: have Yes, what is that?
- 32:34Speaker 9: But you look, if you look at your man, then
- 32:38Speaker 9: you see him. Then I have no right to demand
- 32:42Speaker 9: a body if I can't provide it.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Okay, okay, now that was profound.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Yeah it really did it?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Really? Yeah? You want somebody to be something you not.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of guys are as progressive as you guys,
- 32:58Speaker 3: you know that.
- 32:59Speaker 6: Don't matter that they can be non progressive. But they'll
- 33:02Speaker 6: be over there by themself somewhere. Yeah, exactly, Or you
- 33:07Speaker 6: mess around to get some dumb woman with a six pack.
- 33:10Speaker 6: M Now what what what did you say?
- 33:13Speaker 8: You said?
- 33:14Speaker 10: Us three is not that hands, so we can't y'all two,
- 33:18Speaker 10: I'm not that.
- 33:20Speaker 8: Trio.
- 33:21Speaker 7: Tommy, Hey, send over here. Cute with a two pack, Okay,
- 33:29Speaker 7: gonna be with a two pack?
- 33:33Speaker 6: Unattractive as you want to be with a two I mean,
- 33:37Speaker 6: I mean, and let tom can tell you something. At
- 33:39Speaker 6: times shockingly not attracted. Yeah, I've caught him on some angles.
- 33:47Speaker 6: I've seen him from some different.
- 33:51Speaker 1: But you can't some of that.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Steve Tommy feel that way about himself.
- 33:56Speaker 6: That's because he looking out the one set of eyes.
- 33:59Speaker 6: He come out here and look at him through these eyes.
- 34:03Speaker 10: There's a lot wrong with you for you to be
- 34:07Speaker 10: you know how much stuff got to aligned?

- 54:18Speaker 1: you here.
- 54:18Speaker 14: It is the Strawberry Letter subject my best friend is
- 54:23Speaker 14: just trying to help out.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:26Speaker 14: I've been married to my husband for eight years and
- 54:29Speaker 14: we have a five year old and a two year
- 54:31Speaker 14: old daughter. My husband has five other kids, not including
- 54:35Speaker 14: the two we have together. Yes, I know this is
- 54:38Speaker 14: a lot of kids. However, I want to try for
- 54:41Speaker 14: another baby next year. I am thirty two and he
- 54:44Speaker 14: is forty, and he says he is too old to
- 54:48Speaker 14: have more kids. I don't have a son and would
- 54:51Speaker 14: like to try for a son. I always told him
- 54:54Speaker 14: I wanted to have three children. We don't have sex
- 54:58Speaker 14: because he says he doesn't want to get megnant, and
- 55:00Speaker 14: if we do have sex, he buys me the Plan
- 55:03Speaker 14: B pill to avoid any possible pregnancies. I even asked
- 55:06Speaker 14: if we can adopt and he still said no. I
- 55:10Speaker 14: am starting to resent my husband and this is causing
- 55:13Speaker 14: a strain on our relationship because I want another baby.
- 55:18Speaker 14: We are financially stable enough to have another baby.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I can fight it.
- 55:23Speaker 14: And my best friend, who happens to be a manned
- 55:26Speaker 14: and he offered me his sperm. As you know, he
- 55:29Speaker 14: would donate the sperm and sex would not be involved.
- 55:34Speaker 14: When I told my husband about my best friend's offer,
- 55:37Speaker 14: he flipped out and was highly upset. He said that
- 55:40Speaker 14: would be committing a sin, breaking the vows of marriage,
- 55:43Speaker 14: and he would not accept the baby as his child.
- 55:46Speaker 14: He also said he would divorce me if I even
- 55:49Speaker 14: brought it up again. I think it is very unfair
- 55:52Speaker 14: because he won't give me another baby. It's my body
- 55:55Speaker 14: and if I want another baby, I should be able
- 55:57Speaker 14: to get pregnant and have another baby.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Am I wrong here? Please help? Well, you know you're
- 56:04Speaker 3: both wrong, and I'll tell you why.
- 56:08Speaker 14: You for going to another man outside of your marriage
- 56:12Speaker 14: to get another baby.
- 56:13Speaker 3: I mean, that's not the way you do it.
- 56:15Speaker 14: And of course your husband is wrong for just shutting
- 56:17Speaker 14: you out, not even hearing of your requests, for being
- 56:22Speaker 14: so mean and closed minded about you.
- 56:24Speaker 3: You're his wife.
- 56:25Speaker 14: He should be, you know, compassionate and understanding as to
- 56:29Speaker 14: how you feel. I get that he already has five children,
- 56:33Speaker 14: in addition to the two daughters that you guys have together.
- 56:37Speaker 14: But you have to talk, and you should have talked
- 56:41Speaker 14: to each other before you got.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Here to this place.
- 56:45Speaker 14: He's only forty, and while he may say that's too old,
- 56:50Speaker 14: it's not too old. I think it's just that he
- 56:53Speaker 14: is tired of having kids. Seven kids. You said it
- 56:56Speaker 14: in a letter. That's a lot of kids, by anyone's standards,
- 57:00Speaker 14: is a lot of kids. You say you're financially stable
- 57:04Speaker 14: enough to have a lot of kids, to have more kids,
- 57:06Speaker 14: but you know, if your husband doesn't want to have kids,
- 57:11Speaker 14: you guys have to be on the same page as
- 57:12Speaker 14: far as it's concern you. On the other hand, are
- 57:15Speaker 14: only thirty two. You're still young enough. You're perfectly within
- 57:18Speaker 14: your rights to want more children and to try for
- 57:21Speaker 14: a boy.
- 57:22Speaker 3: If that's what you want. But you can't do it
- 57:24Speaker 3: with this husband.
- 57:26Speaker 14: Because he's not interested. You guys have a major issue
- 57:28Speaker 14: in your marriage. I don't see how you can come
- 57:31Speaker 14: to an agreement or a compromise. I really don't. He
- 57:34Speaker 14: doesn't want any more children. He doesn't want any more children.
- 57:37Speaker 14: You do, period, okay, period, you're here. I think I
- 57:42Speaker 14: can confidently say this that if you do have another child,
- 57:47Speaker 14: it won't be with your current husband unless you trick
- 57:50Speaker 14: him or trap him or something like that. And if
- 57:52Speaker 14: you go to your best friend and get his sperm,
- 57:58Speaker 14: you're going to be done with this marrige alright. This
- 58:00Speaker 14: marriage is practically over anyway because of your husband's rules.
- 58:04Speaker 3: He doesn't want another kid you do. He won't accept
- 58:07Speaker 3: the baby as his own.
- 58:09Speaker 14: If you have another one, he doesn't want to adopt.
- 58:11Speaker 14: You have no options here. You have no options here, Steve.
- 58:17Speaker 6: Well, Shirley, I have different take on this. I believe
- 58:21Speaker 6: that she does have options, and I'll tell you why
- 58:23Speaker 6: as soon as y'all ask me why. Steve, She's been
- 58:27Speaker 6: married to her husband for eight years and they got
- 58:31Speaker 6: a five year old and two year old together.
- 58:34Speaker 1: They both girls.
- 58:36Speaker 6: My husband has five other kids, not including the other
- 58:40Speaker 6: the two we have together. Now, let's stop right here.
- 58:43Speaker 6: He'll go the whole damn problem right here. It's them
- 58:46Speaker 6: five other damn kids. This is the reason he's struggling
- 58:55Speaker 6: with another one. So don't take it personal. It ain't you,
- 59:02Speaker 6: it's them damn other ones. That's where the problem comes
- 59:08Speaker 6: in at We don't know where they strolled all out
- 59:12Speaker 6: at They could be city wide, state wide, state wide, countrywide,
- 59:23Speaker 6: they may be global international.
- 59:25Speaker 12: We don't know.
- 59:28Speaker 1: There's a lot of money. Now if he farty, I'm
- 59:30Speaker 1: assuming he started.
- 59:33Speaker 6: Having kids around twenty eighteen. Maybe that means he's still
- 59:38Speaker 6: paying child support.
- 59:40Speaker 1: You'll see. That's where he don't want no more kids.
- 59:46Speaker 6: See, y'all may be financially stable, but that child support
- 59:50Speaker 6: choking homie.
- 59:51Speaker 1: That's your problem right there.
- 59:54Speaker 5: Now.
- 59:54Speaker 6: You say, yes, I know that's a lot of kids,
- 59:56Speaker 6: but you want to try for another one because you're
- 59:59Speaker 6: thirty two. And he say too old to have more kids.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: That's not true.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: You can have more kids. Past for it.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Now you don't got a boy, and you want a boy.
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: And always you always told him you wanted three kids.
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: And now y'all ain't having sex because he said he
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: don't want to get me pregnant. If we do have sex,
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: he buy me to plan bet peel to avoid any
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: possible pregnance. And you take the damn pill. But this
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: man make buying a pill, making you take it standing there,
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: watch you swallow it.
- 1:00:29Speaker 14: Just ain't no marriage, all right, Hang on to that thought, Steve,
- 1:00:34Speaker 14: we have more, We'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:37Speaker 14: when we come back at twenty three after the hour.
- 1:00:39Speaker 14: Today's Strawberry Letters subject to my best friend is just
- 1:00:42Speaker 14: trying to help.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Out here, Okay, we'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:49Speaker 14: All right, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject my
- 1:00:53Speaker 14: best friend is just trying to help out.
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: Yeah, you got this husband you've been married to. Y'all
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: got two keys is when he got five other kids.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: You want another baby because you want to try for
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: a boy. You thirty two, he forty. He say he
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: too old to half kids. You told him when y'all
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: got married, y'all want to have three kids. He say
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: he ain't having it, and y'all don't hardly have sex
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: because he don't want to get you pregnant. Then when
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: you do have sex, he buy a pill to play
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: and b pill and make you take it to avoid
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: any possible pregnancies.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: You asked this.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Fool, could you adopt? And he still said no. I'm
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: starting to resent rup. My husband's causing a strain under
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: our relationship because you want another baby. Now you say
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: you're financially stable. Now here's the problem. You went to
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: your best friend, who happens to be a man. He
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: offered his spurn. Hart's stop right here. Anybody got problem
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: with this?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Here?
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: Yeah, most will offer his spurn. Most men, I know
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: it is willing to offer sperm. That's where the term
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: sperm donor came from. Because matter fact, we like giving
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: it up so much, we'll give it to people we
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: don't know.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: We don't even have to care about you. We have
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: extra we want to donate it to you.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: Now, your damn best friend, who is a man, then
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: told you that he'll offer you his sperm. And then,
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: as you said in the letter, as you know, he
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: would donate the sperm and sex would not be involved. Lady,
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: that's what he said. But he your best friend because
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: he's attracted to you. And now he's so attracted to you,
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: he said, I donate my sperm. He been wanting to
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: say this all along. This is just the topic that
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: then came up. And you said, as you know, he
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: would donate the sperm and sex would not be involved.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Well, sex might not be involved, but you're gonna have to.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: Get that sperm though, Hello Church, say, man, you might
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: not have that, but you gotta get it. And you
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: can't leave it where it is to have it's got
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: to come out. Hello, how you think we're gonna get
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: it out of the little house he live in? Now,
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: I'm dead serious. Something got to happen. You stop all this.
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: He we don't have to have sex. We're gonna have something.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: Then your crazy ass went in the house told your
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: husband about your best friend's offer. Your husband flipped, was
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: highly upset. He said this would be committing a sin.
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: Sound like it to me because he ain't real show
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: what he means by he want to donate some spur
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: because you got a real good idea of what donating
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: sperm mean. You'd be breaking the vials of the marriage
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: because all he says, y'all see is you having sex
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: or getting that sperm donated some kind of way, and
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: said he would not accept the child as he is.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: Hell, it ain't.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: It ain't his baby, it's your best friend's baby. He
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: also said he divorced you if you bought it up again.
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: Now you think it's very unfair because he won't give
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: me another baby. It's my body and if I want
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: another baby, I should be able to get pregnant to
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: have a baby. Lady, you are one hundred percent correct. Now,
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: Shirley said this right here. It won't be with this
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: dude right here, unless you just go on and have
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: sex with your husband and quit taking that damn pill.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Then you're gonna have a baby. Then what he gonna do?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: But then guess what.
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: Don't nobody really want to have a baby with somebody
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: that don't want a baby. But it happens all the time,
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: And you can act like some women and go, well,
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: he'll grow to love the child, he might, but he
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: might quit loving you though, because he will be resembful
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: because he'd have sold all his wireloads with all these
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: other chicks and got these five other kids.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Now he want to shut it down.
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: And you done told him you want three You should
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: be able to get pregnant to have a baby, but
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: surely's right.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Probably won't be with this dude right here? Am I
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: wrong here?
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Please help me? Well, if you want to have another
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: baby and he don't, you gonna have to go have
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: another baby. And you do have the right, but I
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: think you told your.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Husband you wanted three kids in the beginning.
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: Now, somewhere along the line, this child sport whooping his ass,
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: he don't see it.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: So now he is issuing ultimatums.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: But the biggest mistake you made was his sperm donor
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: conversation with your husband, because now he got a platform
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: to stand on that ain't got nothing to do with
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: the pregnancy or the baby. Now he didn't use this
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: divorce to really shut you down. It's a cold, tricky
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: pulling on you. What is working because you done wrote
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: in a letter. I don't know what to tell you, ma'am,
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: but it don't look like you'll be having a baby
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: with your husband. And don't leave your husband for your
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: best friend, please, and do not take your best friend in.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Spur and your loans some sperm, I get on. That's
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: all you me some spur?
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: Look that all right, Steve, thank you.

- 1:10:04Speaker 14: All right, Steve so Jack on Facebook rights, my son's
- 1:10:07Speaker 14: turning into a player. He's now sixteen years old and
- 1:10:10Speaker 14: clearly has a thing for older women. Occasionally we'll have
- 1:10:14Speaker 14: friends over, and there have been multiple reports of my
- 1:10:17Speaker 14: kid making some smooth moves on some of my wife's friends.

- 1:13:13Speaker 6: Margine slap taste out there, But I wish you would

- 1:13:40Speaker 14: He says, I'm I'm a high school guys taking on
- 1:13:44Speaker 14: my first part time job. I have a question for
- 1:13:46Speaker 14: more seasoned employees than me. Since I'm in school. They
- 1:13:50Speaker 14: said I can't be part time, so I'm working six
- 1:13:52Speaker 14: hours a day, five days a week. I was also
- 1:13:55Speaker 14: told that they have to give me at least one
- 1:13:57Speaker 14: thirty minute break during my shift. Well, I've been working
- 1:14:00Speaker 14: about a month now, and each day but one, I've
- 1:14:04Speaker 14: been told to clock out for my break. But it's
- 1:14:06Speaker 14: always happens during a rush, and I've been asked to
- 1:14:09Speaker 14: come back and help out even though I'm on my
- 1:14:12Speaker 14: break and off the clock. I kind of asked about
- 1:14:15Speaker 14: it once and was hit with substantial attitude. What's the
- 1:14:18Speaker 14: real story with this? I like the job and want
- 1:14:20Speaker 14: the experience, but I also don't want to get used.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Okay, Well that's life, dog, it happens. Yeah, you're supposed

- 1:14:32Speaker 6: You know, you're got to start taking your break earlier
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: before the rush or after the rush is over.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Okay, it's all to it. Life, ain't fair? Dog?
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: All right?

- 1:18:32Speaker 6: You know you put the river ball in meet and
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: all this. You don't want born No damn real grills

- 1:18:42Speaker 3: All right, here we go.
- 1:18:45Speaker 14: Would you rather baby sit a crying baby for a day,
- 1:18:49Speaker 14: just for a day, or would you rather have an
- 1:18:52Speaker 14: unwanted house guest for a week.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: I got that baby, give me, I got that baby,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Give me that hen shit.
- 1:19:01Speaker 14: Would you rather babysit a crying baby for a week,
- 1:19:04Speaker 14: I mean for a day, or would you rather have
- 1:19:06Speaker 14: an unwanted house guest for a week.
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: I'm gonna take a baby. I know I'd get a baby.
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: Stop crying. You're gonna stop all this crime.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Help.
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: It's just for a day, so you ain't gonna cry
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: all damn man. I'm pulling something in your milk before
- 1:19:19Speaker 6: you be out. I'm put some babies in that milk.
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: That's what I'm gonna do. You're gonna go nice boy.
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: Your AS's gonna go to sleep. It's gonna be tasty too. Yeah,
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: I can put a baby to sleep. You're gonna go
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: to sleep.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: And with your ass in the middle of that little
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: that little raft that they had their feet out and
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: put them in the pool. It's just ass out there
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: in the middle of that water. And let him deal
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: with it.
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: He'll stop crying after a while and you just go
- 1:19:42Speaker 6: to sleep. Hard to keep swimming back over and I
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: keep kicking you back out in the middle.
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: All right, that's today's round. Would you rather coming up?
- 1:19:51Speaker 14: It is our last break of the day, and you
- 1:19:53Speaker 14: do not want to miss Steve's closing remarks at forty
- 1:19:56Speaker 14: nine minutes after the hour.
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: All right, Steve, here we are last break of the
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: day on this Monday. It's been a good day. We've
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: had some fun today. Thank you, and now it's time
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: for you to take us home with some closing remarks.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Let me see, I was thinking again of what I
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: could say to be encouraging to people.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: I have a couple of poems that have kept me
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: throughout my life that I learned actually while I was pledging. Man,
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: that was the greatest thing that pledging gave me was
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: besides some friendships that I still have to this day,
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: it taught me so much that I needed to know
- 1:20:49Speaker 6: at a young.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Age about surviving and thriving.
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: And hanging in there. And I learned a couple of
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: poems that have kept me. And if you look them up, man,
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: they're very, very valuable. Not nothing replaces my spiritual life
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: at all. And the two are to be compared, but
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: they are to be appreciated on both levels. The first person,
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: one of the strongest poems I learned was a poem
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: called Invictus, and in the poem it says the term
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: gods with an s.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: But I never say gods because there's only one.
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: And even the entire time I was pledging, I told
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: them I wasn't gonna say gods because and they didn't
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: have theming brothers didn't have a problem with that at all.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: But the poem was great.
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: I haven't memorized, I don't haven't written down anywhere, so
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: y'all forgive me as I pull it up out of
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: my memory. But in Victus is something like this, out
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: of the night that covers me black as a pit,
- 1:21:56Speaker 6: from pole to pole.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I think, whatever God.
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: May be for my unconquerable soul, in the fail clutch
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: of circumstance, I have not winced nor cried aloud. And
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: under the bludgeonings of chance, my head is bloodied but unbowed.
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: And beyond this place of raft and tears looms but
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: the horror of the shade. And yet the minutes of
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: the years finds and shall find me unafraid. It matters
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: not how straight the gate, how charged with punishment the scroll.
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: I am the master of my fate. I am the
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: captain of my soul. That poem in Victis has kept
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: me through a lot of troubling times. The other poem
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: that kept me was a poem that it has a
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: title of dunk Quit, but the author is unknown. It's
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: an unknown author. If you look it up, just look
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: up the point don't quit. But it's been a staple
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: in my repertoire of things that I say to myself
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: in difficult times. And it goes something like this when
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: things go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the roads
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: you're trudging seems all upheel, when your funds are low
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: and your debts are high, when you want to smile,
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: but you have to side when cares are pressing you down.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: A bit, rest if you must, but don't quit.
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: For life is queer with his twisting turns, as every
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: one of us must sometimes learn. And many a fellow
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: has turned about when he might have won had he
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: stuck it out. So don't give up. Though the pace
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: seems slow, you may succeed with another blow. Often the
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: gold is nearer than it seems to a faint and
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: a faltering man, And often the struggle has given up
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: when he might have captured the victor's cup. And he
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: learns too late, when the night came down, how close
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: he was to the golden crown. And you never can
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: tell how close you are. It may be near when
- 1:24:14Speaker 6: it seems afar. So stick to the fight when your
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: hardest hit. It's when things seem worse that you mustn't quit.
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: Those two poems right there have kept me in some
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: dark moments. Somebody made me a T shirt the other
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: day in the Cleveland Cavalier colors of maroon and gold,
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: and gave it to me as a gift, And the
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: T shirt said, I'm a sixty two year old black
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: man from.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Cleveland, Ohio. What you want?
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: It's sort of funny, man, because a lot of times
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: when people say and stuff, people who really know.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: I say to people all the time, what you want
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: from me? You know? Only human.
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: I'm subject to make mistakes, I air, I get it
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: wrong sometimes I'm not perfect. I swing a lot, so
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: I'm gonna hit a lot of strikeouts. You know, when
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: you swaying in the bat, A lot of times you
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: ain't gonna all of them, ain't gonna be hit. But
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: I have such a sheer number of at bats that
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: it causes people to be able to see a few
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: more times than me failing. But some people never You
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: don't ever have to worry about watching them fail because
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: they're not attempting anything.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: So if you're the person who's being criticized.
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: For your efforts, you have to know that you gotta
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: hang in there because there's so many people that's criticizing
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: you that's not even making an effort. Now I'm a
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: paraphrase another one, but I'm paraphrasing this. This doesn't work
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: exactly like this. It says the credit belongs to the
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: man who is actually in the arena, whose face is
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: marred with dust, blood, sweat, and tea, is not to
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: those cold and timid souls in the stands who know
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: neither victory nor defeat.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: That one has kept me too, because.
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: I realize that a lot of people that are criticizing
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: you are not even in the same game you win.
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: So when you're out there striving and you hustling and
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: you're trying to put it together, you're gonna make mistakes
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: and you're gonna get criticized.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: But don't ever, don't ever, don't you ever give up.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Have a great day. Talk to God, he'd love to
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: hear Freddy.
