- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your face. Uh huh, I sure will I
- 2:03Speaker 1: good mining everybody y'all listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now of one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. I got a radio show and got
- 2:14Speaker 1: something to say to man. I thank God for I
- 2:18Speaker 1: thank God for my life. I thank God for her
- 2:21Speaker 1: in the midst of storms, he calms me. You know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I was going through another trial in my life. You
- 2:28Speaker 1: know which is life is going to always be that?
- 2:31Speaker 1: You know, it's a it's a I think the things
- 2:35Speaker 1: that I say on the radio, I want you to
- 2:38Speaker 1: all understand that I do. So have to put him
- 2:41Speaker 1: into practice all the time. And uh, I was going
- 2:45Speaker 1: through something yesterday and I don't know how long I'll
- 2:48Speaker 1: be going through it, but I'll be fine however long
- 2:50Speaker 1: it takes, because I have something, man, I'm gonna share
- 2:55Speaker 1: it with you. A lot of you got it, but
- 2:58Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think sometimes we're appreciate it until
- 3:01Speaker 1: we have to use it. And and the thing that
- 3:03Speaker 1: we got is prayer. Prayers available to every single person.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Prayer is so important, man, it's so important. I'm not
- 3:12Speaker 1: afraid to say it though. It's so so important to
- 3:17Speaker 1: you because it's such a comfort, it's such an island
- 3:22Speaker 1: that you can go to. I was going through something
- 3:24Speaker 1: yesterday and somebody close to me knew about it, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: they sent me something in the middle of it, and
- 3:30Speaker 1: it said simply that God does not guarantee us a
- 3:34Speaker 1: life free from trouble, but he does promise to be
- 3:39Speaker 1: our refuge in the midst of the storm. See. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: that was so cool for me, because you know, oftentimes
- 3:46Speaker 1: I'm on the radio and I'm talking, and I know
- 3:49Speaker 1: you all think I'm talking to you, but like I said,
- 3:51Speaker 1: oftentimes because I'm just talking to myself, man, because I'm
- 3:55Speaker 1: just like you, I'm just a human being trying to
- 3:57Speaker 1: get through. I happened to come under attack, as does
- 4:01Speaker 1: everybody else. I got trials and tribulations just like everybody else.
- 4:07Speaker 1: So when I'm talking, I'm talking to myself a lot
- 4:09Speaker 1: of time, and all of us are faced with things.
- 4:12Speaker 1: But the beautiful thing. And one of the things I've
- 4:14Speaker 1: always said that on your way to success, that's going
- 4:17Speaker 1: to be our position. I've always said that the road
- 4:20Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. I have always said
- 4:26Speaker 1: these things, but I also have to hear these things.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And I, even whoever I am, and all of us
- 4:33Speaker 1: have to apply these things. And see what I was
- 4:36Speaker 1: sitting there going through it. Man, somebody Texas to me
- 4:39Speaker 1: to just simply said that God does not guarantee us
- 4:42Speaker 1: a life free from trouble, but he does promise to
- 4:46Speaker 1: be our refuge in the midst of the storm. And
- 4:50Speaker 1: you know, man, what prayer enables you to do is
- 4:52Speaker 1: have just a little closer relationship with God. It allows
- 4:56Speaker 1: you to form a barricade when necessary. It allows you
- 5:02Speaker 1: to have a place to go when necessary. It provides
- 5:06Speaker 1: you a place of shelter when it gets real, real
- 5:11Speaker 1: windy and real real funky for you when the bullets
- 5:15Speaker 1: and arrows is flying, there's a place that you can
- 5:19Speaker 1: tuck yourself. I always like to refer to it as
- 5:23Speaker 1: under his wings. I like to get tucked under his
- 5:26Speaker 1: wings when the bullets and arrows is flying. You know,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I do realize Man through my life. And I've been
- 5:33Speaker 1: taught this over and over and over. Isaiah forty three
- 5:37Speaker 1: one and two. That's someone to the effect that you
- 5:40Speaker 1: can walk through the fire and you will not get burned.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Normal kindling set upon your clothing. And what I learned
- 5:47Speaker 1: from that scripture, y'all, what simply is that if you
- 5:50Speaker 1: do have this relationship with God, if you are making
- 5:54Speaker 1: an attempt to be righteous, trying to live your life
- 5:58Speaker 1: to the best of you, ain't stepping on nobody, trying
- 6:00Speaker 1: to hurt nobody. You're giving God some glory. You're talking
- 6:02Speaker 1: with him. You know you're making some mistakes alone the way,
- 6:05Speaker 1: But you know what I'm saying, You ain't. You ain't
- 6:07Speaker 1: just mailing it in. You are consciously trying to be
- 6:10Speaker 1: a righteous person. Then there's a promise that He gives
- 6:14Speaker 1: to you that he would be there for you. Now
- 6:17Speaker 1: here's the promise. The promise says something just like this,
- 6:22Speaker 1: that you will be able to walk through the fire
- 6:25Speaker 1: and not get burned. Normal kindling set upon your clothing.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Now what that means to me, my interpretation of it
- 6:33Speaker 1: real simple. Some things are going to happen to you,
- 6:37Speaker 1: and when they happen to you, it's not his doing.
- 6:40Speaker 1: When when you come under attack, when you when when
- 6:44Speaker 1: when the haters come from you, it's never his doing.
- 6:48Speaker 1: But he gonna walk with you though and allow you
- 6:51Speaker 1: to walk through the fire, and you will not get burned.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That's amazing, man, because I got a little fire going
- 6:57Speaker 1: on right now. But guess what, they can't consume me
- 7:01Speaker 1: with it, because in their attempts to do what they
- 7:04Speaker 1: do to you, to me, to anybody is trying to
- 7:07Speaker 1: go somewhere, mind your business, in their attempts to do
- 7:10Speaker 1: what they're setting out to do. Here's a problem with that. Now,
- 7:15Speaker 1: if you got God, if you use this little weapon
- 7:19Speaker 1: of prayer that he gives you, he'll provide you a refuge,
- 7:23Speaker 1: but he'll let you walk through the fine you will
- 7:25Speaker 1: not get burned. Now a part where it talks about
- 7:28Speaker 1: won't know kindling set upon your clothing. That's kind of
- 7:31Speaker 1: like if if you've been in the house that's been
- 7:34Speaker 1: on fire before you know, you can walk in and
- 7:37Speaker 1: sit on the walls. It's a smell in the air.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You can see the damage. I mean a house that's
- 7:45Speaker 1: been on fire until the repairs come, the restoration, you
- 7:50Speaker 1: can walk in there and know that there's been a fire.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Weeks later, after the house has been on fire, you
- 7:57Speaker 1: can walk in because you can smell it, you can
- 8:00Speaker 1: see the seinge marks. But here's difference houses. You know,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about just structural buildings that they don't have
- 8:11Speaker 1: ongoing relationship with God's I ain't talking about your temple
- 8:14Speaker 1: at church and nothing, so please don't go there. I'm
- 8:16Speaker 1: just telling you a fact. A house does not possess
- 8:18Speaker 1: a soul. A person possesses a soul. So your relationship
- 8:21Speaker 1: with God is it's where your refugees. So now here
- 8:25Speaker 1: we go. When you have a little walk with God,
- 8:29Speaker 1: when you got some faith in him. Hear what happens
- 8:32Speaker 1: to you, y'all when they come for you when they
- 8:35Speaker 1: attack you. The part that it says you won't get burned,
- 8:38Speaker 1: but the no kindling that means when it's over, no
- 8:42Speaker 1: kindling was set upon you that are being there won't
- 8:44Speaker 1: be no sit on you. There won't be no seinge
- 8:47Speaker 1: marks on you. You won't smell like you've been on fire.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You won't even look like you've been nowhere near a fire.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But the whole time the fire was raging all around
- 9:00Speaker 1: on you. But there's a place that you can go
- 9:03Speaker 1: when your life is on fire, when you come under attack.
- 9:06Speaker 1: There's a spot. There's a spot if you know God,
- 9:10Speaker 1: if you if you're just trying to be righteous, if
- 9:12Speaker 1: you just go over there and get over that buying
- 9:14Speaker 1: just a little bit, y'all, if you just send up
- 9:16Speaker 1: some earnest prayers and and pray it and mean what
- 9:19Speaker 1: you say, there's a spot you can go that you
- 9:22Speaker 1: can tuck under His wings, and you will walk through
- 9:25Speaker 1: the fire and you won't get burned. Now here is
- 9:28Speaker 1: the parto. I want you to feel me. Now. It
- 9:31Speaker 1: did not say in there that it would not get
- 9:34Speaker 1: unggodly hot. That's the cold partner. Come on, y'all, because
- 9:41Speaker 1: what did I tell you that to do or text
- 9:44Speaker 1: me the thing? What did I just tell you? I
- 9:46Speaker 1: just simply said that God does not guarantee us a
- 9:50Speaker 1: life free from trouble, but he does promise to be
- 9:53Speaker 1: our refuge in the midst of the storm. Now I'm
- 9:58Speaker 1: in one right now. But I what you to understand,
- 10:00Speaker 1: so when you come for me, you don't come from
- 10:05Speaker 1: somebody that's standing over that by himself. I have a
- 10:09Speaker 1: relationship with him, and um I use continually on a
- 10:15Speaker 1: daily basis, more than three times a day, that beautiful
- 10:19Speaker 1: little gift, that weapon of prayer that he's given to me.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So while a storm is raging, I want everybody to
- 10:25Speaker 1: know I'm just fine. I'm now, I'm uncomfortable. I don't
- 10:29Speaker 1: like it. I do not like what happens to me,
- 10:33Speaker 1: no more than you like what happens to you. But
- 10:35Speaker 1: I got news for you though I'm so covered, and
- 10:38Speaker 1: I stand there in that place of refuge, man, and
- 10:41Speaker 1: I drank that up and man, today I'm telling you, man,
- 10:45Speaker 1: God's promises are true, that he'll be with you in
- 10:48Speaker 1: the midst of a storm, that he'll hold your hand.
- 10:51Speaker 1: God promises are true. All you gotta do is lean
- 10:55Speaker 1: on him. You feel me. Check it out, ladies, gentlemen,
- 11:03Speaker 1: boys and girls. This to Steve Harvey Morning Show. This
- 11:10Speaker 1: is radio unlike any other. This is not planned, rehearsed,
- 11:20Speaker 1: and oftentimes not even wanted. This real radio. What y'all
- 11:26Speaker 1: doing today? So Shirley, Hey, Steve, how are you? I'm
- 11:36Speaker 1: pretty good? Call Um good morning? Was up? Crowe, it's up,
- 11:40Speaker 1: Julian morning. Uh, fold was happy with you after the
- 11:44Speaker 1: moning after you know what you've been bought lately? Let
- 11:48Speaker 1: me hear something nothing really really well and junior body
- 11:56Speaker 1: thing lately. Yeah, I bought a few SUPs you Yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 1: it went up. Used to be one I'm in. Then
- 12:04Speaker 1: give me that one and that one? Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 1: at one for Friday and sing. Come on boy, come
- 12:15Speaker 1: up and out. I can't tell you what I'm trying
- 12:19Speaker 1: to get next though, what's that? It's going to be
- 12:24Speaker 1: interesting to us and our audience or just you guys.
- 12:28Speaker 1: This is helicopter? Yeah? What right? And just landing where
- 12:35Speaker 1: I want to land, you know, skip all the traffic. Okay,
- 12:37Speaker 1: let me ask you a question, go ahead? How much
- 12:40Speaker 1: how much you got for this helicopter that? Do you
- 12:43Speaker 1: know what type you want? Well? I've been looking, okay,
- 12:47Speaker 1: what's the number on it? You know? You know numbers
- 12:50Speaker 1: on helicopters the same way you know I'm on plane?
- 12:53Speaker 1: No okay, no, I don't know. Okay, how much was it?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Let me ask you that who point three me? That
- 13:03Speaker 1: sounds reason, Yeah, that sounds reason. But what I'm trying
- 13:07Speaker 1: to figure out is, come on, come on, boy, come on,
- 13:12Speaker 1: what is you gonna do with damn near two and
- 13:15Speaker 1: a half million dollar helicopter? Where are you going? See?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Where you got to go? Require more than that? Okay,
- 13:24Speaker 1: well let me ask you this. Hire a helicopter, boy,
- 13:29Speaker 1: you know what A many times you got to land
- 13:31Speaker 1: to gas up? We'll see. That's what I don't know.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about the game, but it first
- 13:36Speaker 1: though I ain't bought it. I haven't bought it. But Tommy,
- 13:42Speaker 1: where would you keep the helicopter? Thank you? In my backyard?
- 13:47Speaker 1: Where my backyard? How are you gonna land a helicopter
- 13:53Speaker 1: in your backyard? With your wives back there? Man? You
- 13:59Speaker 1: stay out in the out y'all ain't got in ground cable.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Your stuff is on poles. And why all that money
- 14:07Speaker 1: and all these drones playing around? Oh so you're saying
- 14:11Speaker 1: that's a problem. I'm saying it's a problem. You can't
- 14:16Speaker 1: just right there on the h oh do you what
- 14:24Speaker 1: is this? How a laying here right here helicopter? When
- 14:32Speaker 1: we come back, I got all right, and we all
- 14:34Speaker 1: still want to find out how you guys Valentine's Day
- 14:37Speaker 1: went yesterday? I pulled it off. All right, we'll be
- 14:41Speaker 1: back at thirty two after the hour you're listening to show. Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 1: we're talking about helicopter before we love lasted food. So
- 14:51Speaker 1: Tom at two point three, what type of engine did
- 14:53Speaker 1: you get? Yeah? Yeah? This U this the most important question. Okay, yes, Sherley.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It's a lot of people out there wondering why this
- 15:05Speaker 1: food even looking at a two and a half million
- 15:08Speaker 1: dollar dog call h m I thirty eight medium transport helicopter.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Medium transport helicopter. Yeah, how many seats in it? It's
- 15:21Speaker 1: by six seats in there? How many? How many engines?
- 15:25Speaker 1: Two inches? So it's a twin engine, yes, sir. Which
- 15:30Speaker 1: is the only helicopter I'll get on. I will not
- 15:34Speaker 1: get on a helicopter don't have twin inches called the
- 15:37Speaker 1: one go out. I need this other one that at
- 15:39Speaker 1: least set us down so that you need to learn
- 15:50Speaker 1: stuff because nobody care. Steve, listen to me, Yes you do,
- 15:55Speaker 1: the ladies. My father taught me a valuable lesson when
- 15:58Speaker 1: I was going up. He says, son, listen to everybody
- 16:03Speaker 1: when they're talking even a food. Listen to a food
- 16:07Speaker 1: because knowing what not to do is just as important
- 16:11Speaker 1: as knowing what to do. This conversation is a what
- 16:15Speaker 1: not to do moment for everybody listening. We know that
- 16:19Speaker 1: we know not to buy all to him, all his
- 16:24Speaker 1: cars is used, but he gonna go buy damn Helen.
- 16:31Speaker 1: What's wrong with that, Tommy, that's like having That's like
- 16:37Speaker 1: having a Bentley and you live in the apartment with
- 16:43Speaker 1: no garage, just a car poort. Yeah, the priorities is
- 16:49Speaker 1: a little bit out of place. M because if you
- 16:53Speaker 1: haven't bought a two hundred and fifty thou dollar cars,
- 16:56Speaker 1: you most certainly should have bought a two house. Who
- 17:00Speaker 1: is a nice hole? Mhm. That don't make no sense
- 17:03Speaker 1: to you. I just wanted a helicopter, that's all. I
- 17:08Speaker 1: didn't see no problem with me parking my helicopter back
- 17:11Speaker 1: yard on the age, which means here, that's what your
- 17:15Speaker 1: parking at right here, So you better hope the wind
- 17:18Speaker 1: don't blow at all, so you can just go straight up.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Can we move on? Please, let's move on. What happened
- 17:25Speaker 1: last night, that's what we want to hear about. Yeah,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I Valentine, Okay, I'm first, Yeah, let me tell you, boy,
- 17:35Speaker 1: your boy laid it out you hear me. Let me
- 17:37Speaker 1: tell you something. I did do something I could not
- 17:42Speaker 1: the middleman for Valentine. That's what I did. What do
- 17:46Speaker 1: you mean by that? Okay, so like this. You know
- 17:49Speaker 1: the restaurant, Houston's. Yeah, went to Houston's. Picked up the
- 17:55Speaker 1: spinach dip, that's what they're known for. Got that, put
- 17:59Speaker 1: that in the car. Went to the Olive guarden. Got
- 18:02Speaker 1: that salad, you understand, put that in the car. That's
- 18:07Speaker 1: what he said. I got the salad, went by Real Life.
- 18:12Speaker 1: That got them biscuits, y'all know them biscuits. Good. Got that,
- 18:16Speaker 1: went by Papa Dolls, got the crawfish biscue. You know
- 18:19Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm gonna lay it out for but
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm putting all that in the car. Went by Papa.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I got the red beans, and right, y'all got my
- 18:25Speaker 1: sides saying, went to McDonald's. Used to listen to him,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and now went to McDonald's. Got me foe. How the
- 18:37Speaker 1: apple turnovers, you understand, you know they're two four dollars.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Got for them, threw them in the car. Cool. Now
- 18:44Speaker 1: picked up some fish, picked up some catfish went in
- 18:48Speaker 1: there and fried that thing like rings from the from
- 18:52Speaker 1: the grocery store, O fat food that had that, And
- 19:03Speaker 1: then how they as passed you back? They ain't hot
- 19:05Speaker 1: no more. But I didn laid it out at the
- 19:09Speaker 1: house now and put it on the places like I
- 19:11Speaker 1: made him myself. You see what I'm saying now. I
- 19:14Speaker 1: I messed around and forgot some candle, but we had
- 19:16Speaker 1: I didn't have no candle. We had some birthday candles
- 19:18Speaker 1: there from the kids. Laid them around the house, burnt them,
- 19:21Speaker 1: set them on fire. You understand now, check no, no, no,
- 19:30Speaker 1: my son got some clay too. I stuck it in there.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I had this thing playing. I watched this now music.
- 19:35Speaker 1: My surround sound wasn't working, so I opened the door
- 19:39Speaker 1: to the garage, turned on the car and let the
- 19:43Speaker 1: let the radio roar. And boy, let me tell you
- 19:45Speaker 1: something had that music seeping through that garage. Though you're
- 19:49Speaker 1: talking about romantic boy, I laid it out for my baby. Ever,
- 19:55Speaker 1: my baby had the music from the garage on the car.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Yeah leave that, leave that dope. Now that breeze coming
- 20:02Speaker 1: through something jump this morning? Yeah? Did the house burned
- 20:08Speaker 1: down with all those candles? The breeze. I had to
- 20:14Speaker 1: keep lighting them though, because the breeze from the garage
- 20:16Speaker 1: kept coming through. But let me tell you some time
- 20:18Speaker 1: their condition kicked on. But you you don't have an
- 20:22Speaker 1: Alexa Amazon Echo. You don't have that in your house.
- 20:27Speaker 1: I hadn't lost the Alexa cord, so the battery down
- 20:30Speaker 1: on it. He got election, but election quit talking to us.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Too much stuff going on, your stupid My baby held
- 20:40Speaker 1: a Valentinel. I don't care what y'all say, loser Valencie,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and I put that. I put that red rising them
- 20:46Speaker 1: in the mic. Wait, let me tell you something. You
- 20:48Speaker 1: should have seen my baby around with all the damn
- 20:51Speaker 1: dishes on this girl play She did ain't from Popeye McDonald.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Windy stomach goes back popping frosty. And then he got
- 21:04Speaker 1: a hand to nerd to give us some bis something creamy.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Did you get us some peto business man? Let him
- 21:12Speaker 1: tell you something. I cut that middle man out and
- 21:14Speaker 1: brought all that stuff home. Man, my baby and jawed
- 21:16Speaker 1: hust Did you get some ice cream for the apple pies? Girl? Yeah,
- 21:21Speaker 1: we already have blue bell in there. But it was
- 21:24Speaker 1: the little smile was that the kids had one of
- 21:26Speaker 1: the birthday party. They look up with that wooden small. Yeah,
- 21:32Speaker 1: I'm almost a beast to tell y'all. Mind, you can't
- 21:40Speaker 1: tap one. I didn't do this. You will not be outdone. Tom.
- 21:43Speaker 1: This was this was love. You have the best worst
- 21:46Speaker 1: Valentine's ever ever. All right, listen, coming out more from
- 21:52Speaker 1: the nephew and run that prankback right after this. You're
- 21:57Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 22:01Speaker 1: top of the hour, and Mrs Ann will be here
- 22:03Speaker 1: with today's national news. But right now it is time
- 22:06Speaker 1: to go to the cheapest person. I know the nephew
- 22:10Speaker 1: would run that prank back. Litt what I'm giving your

- 23:03Speaker 1: your wife good? Man, your wife good. I wanted to
- 23:05Speaker 1: hit you up. Man. We've been working the post office
- 23:07Speaker 1: quite a while. We've probably been in the same room
- 23:09Speaker 1: a few times. Man. I don't know if you you
- 23:11Speaker 1: remember meeting me or not, but but what I wanted
- 23:14Speaker 1: to say, man, is trying to do better with my life, dog,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and you know, just just trying to do better, you
- 23:20Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So you know, for for Lint, Man,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I gave up a few things. You know what I'm saying.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I just thought that would be a good thing, man,
- 23:29Speaker 1: to try to do the things that matter the most, uh,
- 23:31Speaker 1: that you addicted to, you know, you want to get
- 23:33Speaker 1: rid of, you know what I'm saying, at least for
- 23:35Speaker 1: Lent is what I'm trying to do. You feel me? Okay,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I'm kind of confused. But what they got to do
- 23:42Speaker 1: with me, well, basically, man, I'm I'm I'm giving up
- 23:47Speaker 1: for Lynn. You know, I decided to give up uh,
- 23:50Speaker 1: messing around with your wife, you know, because because who
- 23:56Speaker 1: hold on? Man, hold on, Man, I'm at work. I
- 24:00Speaker 1: don't know what you're coming back, But back up and
- 24:02Speaker 1: rephrase everything you just said. Well, like I say, Man,
- 24:06Speaker 1: for Lynn, I'm trying to I'm trying to give up
- 24:09Speaker 1: stuff that I'm that I'm addicted to, you know. And
- 24:12Speaker 1: I just said what they got to do with me
- 24:14Speaker 1: and my wife though and you. But that's what I'm
- 24:16Speaker 1: trying to tell you. Man, I'm trying to give up
- 24:18Speaker 1: messing around with your wife for Lynn. I mean, that's
- 24:21Speaker 1: what I help giving up. I've given up messing around
- 24:23Speaker 1: with your wife for Lynn. Man, we're talking about man,
- 24:26Speaker 1: messing around with my wife. Man, got no time for
- 24:29Speaker 1: no games right now? Who this man? What's what's your name? Again?
- 24:33Speaker 1: This is Cliff Man I actually worked with for the
- 24:36Speaker 1: last ten and twelve years. But but what I wanted
- 24:38Speaker 1: to really let you know was, you know, her schedule
- 24:40Speaker 1: probably gonna Tchraine because what we used to be doing
- 24:43Speaker 1: we ain't doing. So she's probably gonna be coming home
- 24:45Speaker 1: a little bit earlier, things like that. But I don't
- 24:47Speaker 1: I don't want you getting addicted to it because you know,
- 24:51Speaker 1: after Lynn is over, then you know we'll be back
- 24:53Speaker 1: what we used to do. Man, What is you talking about? Man?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Howld On is my wife's going to be home in
- 24:59Speaker 1: a minute. We're gonna talk about all this yip with me. Man,
- 25:02Speaker 1: I'm about to go hold on, what what are you?
- 25:04Speaker 1: Are you in the city right now? Can I can
- 25:06Speaker 1: I meet with you right now? Cliff? Right? Okay? But
- 25:09Speaker 1: what don't what I'm trying to say? Well, like I'm
- 25:11Speaker 1: telling me, I'm trying to do better, you know, I
- 25:13Speaker 1: gave up trying to do better. That sounds like a
- 25:15Speaker 1: bunch of to me. I got something for you and
- 25:17Speaker 1: my wife? True? Okay, okay, okay, man, I mean, ain't
- 25:21Speaker 1: you feeling me? Don't trying to do better? Though? I
- 25:23Speaker 1: ain't feeling the thing you calling me telling me my wife?
- 25:27Speaker 1: In fact, we need to meet up and talk about
- 25:28Speaker 1: this face to face. Cliff, What you think we talked
- 25:31Speaker 1: right now? If you want to have a conversation, No, no, no,
- 25:34Speaker 1: you just tell me your address and me and my
- 25:37Speaker 1: wife's gond to just come on over there. How about that,
- 25:40Speaker 1: and we all said down and have a little power.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I don't know who thank you is, man, but me
- 25:45Speaker 1: and my wife been together over fifteen years and we
- 25:48Speaker 1: ain't never had no problems with no like this like
- 25:51Speaker 1: the you're telling me on this phone. It sounds like
- 25:54Speaker 1: a bunch of crazy to me. But somebody nick gonna today.
- 25:58Speaker 1: If true? So or what you need to do? You
- 26:01Speaker 1: need to tell me your name, your number, and I

- 26:07Speaker 1: You hear me, man, I'm hearing you. Man, what I'm saying.
- 26:10Speaker 1: The reason for the call was to let you know,
- 26:12Speaker 1: you know, don't get used to her schedule because after
- 26:15Speaker 1: litt it's gonna be back to the way it used
- 26:17Speaker 1: to be. That's all the phone. What's the did you
- 26:20Speaker 1: talking about? We'll getting not what what's your what's your
- 26:23Speaker 1: what's your what's your last name? Cliff? I'm gonna come
- 26:26Speaker 1: find you. I'm gonna come see you. Not Jack. My
- 26:29Speaker 1: name is Cliff. Like I said, I work at the
- 26:31Speaker 1: Cliff and I work at the post off with So okay, Well,
- 26:34Speaker 1: how come you call from a block number? Cliff? What's
- 26:37Speaker 1: your phone number? Man? Hey, man, listen, I'm not trying
- 26:40Speaker 1: to have no confrontation with you. Man, it's already a confrontation.
- 26:44Speaker 1: You can call my phone from a block number. I
- 26:47Speaker 1: don't know you, you don't know me, and you're telling
- 26:49Speaker 1: me you've been my wife? Are you serious? Did you
- 26:53Speaker 1: know she was married? I mean what you mean, did
- 26:56Speaker 1: you know he was married? Yes? Or no? I mean yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 1: I mean I knew she was married. Okay it is

- 28:33Speaker 1: I mean. I mean while you need my last name
- 28:36Speaker 1: because I'm gonna to come see you. What you mean
- 28:38Speaker 1: why I need your last name? Hold on? Hold on,
- 28:42Speaker 1: somebody get in you on the phone. Hey, hold on,
- 28:44Speaker 1: don't go nowhere. We're gonna get in on the phone
- 28:46Speaker 1: right now, and we're gonna settle this right now. Hold on,
- 28:50Speaker 1: you're on the phone, color color for real? Yeah, tell
- 28:53Speaker 1: me who what you're scared up? Okay, man, they called
- 28:57Speaker 1: me nephew Tommy. Oh who my name? A few Tommy
- 29:01Speaker 1: from Steve Harvey Morning Show. What Uh? No, she didn't
- 29:13Speaker 1: set me up? Man, Man, your wife got me to
- 29:16Speaker 1: prank call you man, she tells youself. I left. I
- 29:18Speaker 1: just left the house called him. Now. That's why I
- 29:23Speaker 1: say as in the phone, it was over for you. Man.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Y'all Come on, man, y'all wrong for this man. This
- 29:29Speaker 1: needs to be against the loud man. Man, I gotta
- 29:33Speaker 1: ask you, baby, what's the baddest radio show in the land? Man,
- 29:37Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. I guess y'all with me? Y'all
- 29:45Speaker 1: they never gave up now, y'all never gave up a
- 29:47Speaker 1: person for a period of time. I know nobody's done that,
- 29:50Speaker 1: but you, man, I'm the onlyest one. You ain't never
- 29:55Speaker 1: gave up people for lining. You have to give up
- 29:57Speaker 1: something for that, right right? Okay? So what what have
- 30:00Speaker 1: you all given up? Think? That's what? Forty days from
- 30:12Speaker 1: now until Easter? All right? Uh? Coming up at the
- 30:17Speaker 1: top of the hour, miss Anne is gonna be here.
- 30:19Speaker 1: She's gonna have today's National news and and our Winter
- 30:24Speaker 1: Olympics report. You're ready, Steve, you're listening to the Steve Show? Oh?
- 30:32Speaker 1: My god. I mean, yeah, it's like this scene just
- 30:37Speaker 1: keeps repeating itself. Now, Um, out of Parkland, Florida. Parkland,
- 30:42Speaker 1: Florida is right next to Fort Lauderdale. It's near the
- 30:45Speaker 1: Miami area in Broward County. Uh, multiple debts in a
- 30:50Speaker 1: Florida school shooting there. Um, this is just horrible. It
- 30:54Speaker 1: happened about two thirty pm yesterday. Um. The shooting was
- 30:58Speaker 1: at Marjorie's Dooneman Douglas High School in Parkland. Like I said,
- 31:03Speaker 1: it started about two thirty Eastern time yesterday. Uh. The suspect,
- 31:07Speaker 1: Nicholas Cruz, was a former student, former high school student there.
- 31:11Speaker 1: He is in custody. We're happy to report that. But
- 31:15Speaker 1: he's nineteen years old. He's a former student there. Like
- 31:18Speaker 1: I said, he had been expelled and he came Oh okay,
- 31:22Speaker 1: he had been Yeah, he had been expelled. He came
- 31:24Speaker 1: back to the school with an a R fifteen rifle
- 31:28Speaker 1: and assault rifle had multiple magazine so he was there
- 31:32Speaker 1: to do some serious damages. Again, if you haven't heard,
- 31:35Speaker 1: and I'm sure you have multiple deaths, this is just
- 31:37Speaker 1: so sad. This is just so sad. What is it
- 31:41Speaker 1: going to stop? I mean, the victims were students and
- 31:44Speaker 1: adults and and and as parents as surely everybody, Tommy,
- 31:48Speaker 1: all of us were all parents. We're all parents. Can
- 31:51Speaker 1: you imagine. It's just it's frightening to send your children
- 31:55Speaker 1: to school. And I just you have to pray for families,
- 32:00Speaker 1: the victims. Absolutely, the laws, we have to change the laws.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Gun control. Yeah, I mean, and they said this kid
- 32:11Speaker 1: had uh he was wearing a gas mask, he had
- 32:15Speaker 1: smoke grenades. I mean, where did he get all this
- 32:19Speaker 1: stuff from? He's nineteen, Where did he? Oh my god,
- 32:22Speaker 1: this is just I mean, I just feel so much
- 32:27Speaker 1: for the parents and the loved ones of of these kids,
- 32:30Speaker 1: because you send your kids off to school to get
- 32:33Speaker 1: an education. Who in their wildest dreams would think something
- 32:37Speaker 1: like this would happen. A nineteen year old former student
- 32:40Speaker 1: just goes up to the school and opens fire, opens fire.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I mean, and and God bless our educators and the
- 32:49Speaker 1: teachers that were there. Absolutely the students safe. And yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 1: Steve and Jesus, you just imagine what's going through. It's
- 33:03Speaker 1: absolutely horrible. It's horrific, and you know what, we gotta
- 33:07Speaker 1: do something. How many before we do something? Because right now,
- 33:14Speaker 1: man reacting to it ain't enough, it's too late. I mean,
- 33:18Speaker 1: hats off to the first responders and everything. I'm not
- 33:20Speaker 1: talking about that type of reaction. I'm talking about what
- 33:23Speaker 1: we gotta keep going through before somebody passing some bills
- 33:27Speaker 1: to say, hey man, we're gonna slow this way down.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Our damn problem is the Second Amendment that needs amended
- 33:36Speaker 1: because we America. I don't understand how we keep doing this.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Hold on, man, See, we're so free, we we're so free.
- 33:48Speaker 1: We're stupid. We're stupid free. We won country that really
- 33:54Speaker 1: really need to pull back on some of the freedoms.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Because if you're telling me, if you're telling me, you're
- 34:02Speaker 1: trying to tell me that these brave women and women
- 34:04Speaker 1: are over here fighting for our freedom. Is the freedom
- 34:07Speaker 1: that your ask can walk in the gun and turn
- 34:08Speaker 1: around and turn it on a bunch of people. That's
- 34:10Speaker 1: what they over there phone, because I think they come
- 34:13Speaker 1: home if you told them that's what they was over
- 34:15Speaker 1: there phone. You see what I'm saying. This Second Amendment
- 34:19Speaker 1: needs adjusting. Yeah, it does, all right, Steve. Miss Anna
- 34:25Speaker 1: is here and m I'm sure she has more details
- 34:27Speaker 1: as well. Hey folks, listen, we got a special news update.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna let miss Anne just go into it today.
- 34:33Speaker 1: These are the news facts with miss Anne. Thanks Steve,
- 34:37Speaker 1: thanks everybody out there. A good morning. And this is
- 34:39Speaker 1: Andre put the news and yes it has happened again.
- 34:42Speaker 1: There was another tragic school shooting yesterday and this time
- 34:45Speaker 1: it took place in a high school just north of Miami,
- 34:48Speaker 1: where seventeen people were killed, students as well as adults.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Fifteen others have been injured. Several they say, are dealing
- 34:54Speaker 1: with life threatening injuries this morning, so that's still a
- 34:57Speaker 1: critical situation. Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel says the suspect
- 35:01Speaker 1: is a nineteen year old former student and expelled student,
- 35:04Speaker 1: Nicholas Cruz was the killer. He is in custody and
- 35:09Speaker 1: we've already began to began to dissect his websites and
- 35:13Speaker 1: the things that social media that he was on, and
- 35:15Speaker 1: some of the things have come to mind are very
- 35:17Speaker 1: very disturbing. H Nicholas cruizes to be in court later
- 35:20Speaker 1: on this morning. There have now been eighteen count of
- 35:23Speaker 1: eighteen school shootings in this country this year, and this
- 35:27Speaker 1: is only February. Federal law enforcement investigating the unauthorized attempt
- 35:32Speaker 1: of a vehicle to enter the National Security Agency's campus
- 35:34Speaker 1: at Fort Mead, Maryland yesterday. It is so far not
- 35:38Speaker 1: not believed to have been an act of terrorism, although
- 35:40Speaker 1: there was and a discharge of weapons and they think
- 35:43Speaker 1: that someone may have been injured. They still kind of
- 35:45Speaker 1: figure out why and who these people were. But again
- 35:47Speaker 1: that was yesterday also at the NSA campus. The vetting
- 35:51Speaker 1: process that Trump White House has come under a greatest
- 35:53Speaker 1: scrutiny now with the House Committee on Oversight investigating after
- 35:56Speaker 1: the head of the FBI testified that the agency notified
- 35:59Speaker 1: why to the House months ago that its background check
- 36:02Speaker 1: on former Staff Secretary Robert Porter revealed the history of
- 36:04Speaker 1: domestic violence. The Republican chair of the committee, Tree Gaudy
- 36:07Speaker 1: tails CNN. The situation is simple. The chronology is not
- 36:11Speaker 1: favorable for the White House when you have the head
- 36:13Speaker 1: of the FBI saying, we told you three thoms in
- 36:17Speaker 1: and once more for good measure. Um that that, I
- 36:20Speaker 1: think the really fair questions are what were you told,
- 36:23Speaker 1: by whom were you told it? Did you have some
- 36:25Speaker 1: reason to question what the Bureau told you? And none
- 36:28Speaker 1: of that is true? Why did you keep him off? Meanwhile,
- 36:31Speaker 1: President Trump's been under fire for pleading for due process
- 36:34Speaker 1: for his accused staff writer instead of focusing on the
- 36:37Speaker 1: X wives he allegedly battered. So Trump changed that yesterday
- 36:40Speaker 1: made a definitive statement totally opposed to domestic violence of
- 36:45Speaker 1: any kind. Everyone knows that, and it almost wouldn't even
- 36:49Speaker 1: have to be said. So now you hear it, but
- 36:53Speaker 1: you all know it, and that's it. Meanwhile, the sent
- 36:56Speaker 1: has promised to pass an immigration bill before the March
- 36:58Speaker 1: fifth deadline set by President Trump to the end of
- 37:00Speaker 1: the DOCCER program, which has protected the Dreamers people brought
- 37:02Speaker 1: here illegally as children from deportation. Later today, Mitt Romney
- 37:06Speaker 1: was expected to announce his plans to run for US
- 37:08Speaker 1: send It in Utah, but he has postponed it out
- 37:11Speaker 1: of respect for the shooting victims in Florida and on
- 37:14Speaker 1: a much slide of note, let's get it out of
- 37:15Speaker 1: here and this feel a little better around this day
- 37:17Speaker 1: after Valentine's Day, today is national dump your significant jerk
- 37:21Speaker 1: Day Day and don't you come back no more. We'll
- 37:25Speaker 1: be back with more entertainment and today's trending topics at
- 37:27Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stow. Well, the NBA All Star
- 37:36Speaker 1: Game is this weekend right here in Los Angeles at
- 37:39Speaker 1: the Staples Center. But did you guys hear that Isaiah
- 37:42Speaker 1: Thomas Steve has no love for Lebron and he felt
- 37:46Speaker 1: he talked down to him. Isaiah Thomas and Lebron James
- 37:50Speaker 1: both seemed quite relieved that they no longer have to
- 37:52Speaker 1: call each other teammates. Recently, on the Undisputed Sports show
- 37:56Speaker 1: on Fox Sports, sports analyst Chris Brossard said he was
- 38:00Speaker 1: told by a source close to Thomas that Isaiah genuinely,
- 38:04Speaker 1: I'm talking genuinely dislikes Lebron. Take a listen. I was
- 38:08Speaker 1: talking to somebody yesterday close to eyes there, and they
- 38:11Speaker 1: said he has absolutely no love at all for Lebron.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Like this is real, Like he doesn't. He felt like
- 38:18Speaker 1: Lebron kind of talked down to him when he was there,
- 38:21Speaker 1: and so on and so forth. And when Isaiah first
- 38:24Speaker 1: got there, they actually were hanging out a little bit
- 38:26Speaker 1: and it was cool, but it soured pretty quickly. So
- 38:29Speaker 1: this is real. See the problem here is Isaiah left
- 38:36Speaker 1: Boston and complained. Isaiah and left Cleveland and complain. At
- 38:41Speaker 1: one point in time, you gotta be quiet and play
- 38:43Speaker 1: ball because that's what you paid to do. So you
- 38:47Speaker 1: just gotta do your job. Yeah, you're not a sports reporter.
- 38:50Speaker 1: You ain't nobody paying you to analyze and make h
- 38:54Speaker 1: provocative comments. We pay you put the ball in the
- 38:58Speaker 1: hole and check some damn body. Now, when he was
- 39:01Speaker 1: here in Cleveland, he wasn't doing either. He wasn't putting
- 39:05Speaker 1: the ball in the hole and he wasn't checking nobody.
- 39:09Speaker 1: But he wasn't checking nobody when he was in Boston.
- 39:11Speaker 1: He's a prolific score. It's what the kid is. Yeah,
- 39:15Speaker 1: but now he has to he has to understand. Man,
- 39:18Speaker 1: you can't go everywhere you go you complain and not
- 39:21Speaker 1: just like to do saying it ain't gonna look good
- 39:23Speaker 1: for free agent market. All you got to do is
- 39:26Speaker 1: play your game. But you didn't. Now you got traded.
- 39:30Speaker 1: You were the Lakers. Show us what you got. But
- 39:34Speaker 1: one of the main things we're playing with Lebron and
- 39:36Speaker 1: the team that they had for him when they bought
- 39:38Speaker 1: in great players like Derek Rose and great players like
- 39:42Speaker 1: uh Isaiah Thomas. You gotta understand those two guys on
- 39:48Speaker 1: the teams they left from they were the go to guy.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Derreck Rose was the man when he was in Chicago.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I t was the man in Boston. You come to Cleveland,
- 39:57Speaker 1: you ain't gonna beat him. Man, You're not finna be it.
- 40:01Speaker 1: We got the greatest basketball play in the world. Play
- 40:03Speaker 1: with him. Don't be Steph Carrott. Come to Cleveland. He
- 40:07Speaker 1: ain't to be the man. Huh really no, he's not
- 40:11Speaker 1: gonna be the man. Durant come to Cleveland. He ain't
- 40:13Speaker 1: to be the man. Okay, that's it. But you don't
- 40:17Speaker 1: want to be the Monique of basket coming coming up,
- 40:25Speaker 1: Lebron got three rings. We'll be back at thirty four
- 40:28Speaker 1: after you're listening to the Steven Show. All right, um,
- 40:34Speaker 1: listen if you're just waking up. Some very very sad
- 40:37Speaker 1: news out of Parkland, Florida. Numerous deaths have been reported
- 40:42Speaker 1: as a result of a school shooting there in a Parkland, Florida. Now, Parkland,
- 40:46Speaker 1: Florida is right next to Fort Lauderdale. It's uh near
- 40:49Speaker 1: the Miami area in that Broward County area. UM, a
- 40:54Speaker 1: young man, a former student. He was nineteen years old.
- 40:58Speaker 1: His name is Nicholas Cruise. He's a former student. He
- 41:01Speaker 1: had been expelled from the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School
- 41:05Speaker 1: in Parkland. UM, and he just went to the school
- 41:09Speaker 1: and opened fire and just started shooting. Um, you know,
- 41:14Speaker 1: such sad news to report. He had an a R
- 41:18Speaker 1: fifteen rifle that is an assault rifle. He had multiple
- 41:21Speaker 1: magazine so he knew what he was coming to do
- 41:24Speaker 1: when he you know, left out with this rifle in
- 41:26Speaker 1: his hand. Again, multiple debts have been reported. The suspect
- 41:30Speaker 1: is in custody. He was identified again as Nicholas Cruse,
- 41:34Speaker 1: a former student who had been expelled. The name of
- 41:37Speaker 1: the school is Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland,
- 41:40Speaker 1: Broward County. UH Sheriff Scott Israel UH is giving this report.
- 41:46Speaker 1: The suspect was taken into custody about an hour after
- 41:49Speaker 1: he left Stoneman Douglas after he committed this horrible, detestable act.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Israel said. Federal and local authorities UM said that there
- 41:58Speaker 1: was no indication that the gunman had an accomplice or accomplices. UM,
- 42:04Speaker 1: just you know awful. It happened about two thirty pm
- 42:08Speaker 1: yesterday Eastern time in Florida. And this was on Valentine's Day. Yes,
- 42:13Speaker 1: it's horrible. It really really is. I mean, you know what,
- 42:18Speaker 1: these these kids, you know now they have that image
- 42:21Speaker 1: in their minds what happened on Valentine today, you know.
- 42:25Speaker 1: So we're praying for them, we're paying praying for the
- 42:28Speaker 1: parents who lost their children. Other um, you know, officials
- 42:32Speaker 1: in the schools, counselors, all of it. Yes, um, security
- 42:37Speaker 1: people at the school because I think they said that
- 42:39Speaker 1: there are some police cars on the campus, the school
- 42:43Speaker 1: campus at all times. Um Man. This is just horrible.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I mean, as parents, you know, you're all out there
- 42:50Speaker 1: listening where parents were sending our kids to school dropping
- 42:53Speaker 1: them off today as we speak in our hearts are
- 42:57Speaker 1: heavy right now. It's just you know, our children. Gun control.
- 43:01Speaker 1: When is it going to stop? When is enough enough?
- 43:05Speaker 1: We don't really think about it a lot until something
- 43:07Speaker 1: horrific like this happens. Unfortunately, take a little have to
- 43:12Speaker 1: be changed. They absolutely do, they absolutely do, but it
- 43:16Speaker 1: seems like it always falls on deaf ears. Take a
- 43:19Speaker 1: listen to an account of a survivor of yesterday's tragedy.
- 43:23Speaker 1: And our door was open, so I run and closed it,
- 43:26Speaker 1: and everybody went in the corner and we turned off
- 43:29Speaker 1: the lights and everything We didn't. We didn't know it
- 43:30Speaker 1: was happening, Like we didn't know if it was real
- 43:32Speaker 1: or a drill or something like with blanks. But yeah,
- 43:36Speaker 1: we were like the closest room. We started seeing kids
- 43:39Speaker 1: running fat and then after that I heard like stick shots,
- 43:43Speaker 1: like like wo shots, And then after that I started
- 43:47Speaker 1: running with my hunter. We were just running through rads
- 43:50Speaker 1: or swamp. On our left there was bush. Wow. Our
- 43:55Speaker 1: prayers and condolences go out to the parents and and
- 43:58Speaker 1: to the survivors. Yeah, when are we gonna ever deal
- 44:02Speaker 1: with this issue? Well? Too soon? It's actually too damn late.
- 44:10Speaker 1: See the people are already dead. See for there ain't
- 44:14Speaker 1: none of your relatives laying over there at all. See
- 44:18Speaker 1: See for there ain't none of your relatives laying over
- 44:20Speaker 1: there at all. See it was your mama or your daddy,
- 44:23Speaker 1: or your brother or your sister or your child laying
- 44:26Speaker 1: over there. How how would you be having this too
- 44:30Speaker 1: soon conversation? It's easy, man, when it ain't show ass.
- 44:34Speaker 1: That's what killed me about these people, man, It ain't
- 44:37Speaker 1: ever they asked, They say, ever been poe, So they
- 44:40Speaker 1: don't know how poor people feel. They never been oppressed,
- 44:42Speaker 1: so they don't know how pression feel. They don't. They
- 44:45Speaker 1: ain't ever been shot for no damn reason, so they
- 44:48Speaker 1: can't imagine that they ain't buried day kids, or they
- 44:52Speaker 1: ain't got to go visit their kids down. They don't
- 44:54Speaker 1: know what that is. They didn't know that. I'm telling you, man,
- 44:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you, these people are out of touch. It's
- 45:04Speaker 1: too soon to talk about really. You tell them people,
- 45:11Speaker 1: tell them it's too so. That's burying they loved ones.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Let's make your funeral arrangements right now. Tell them it's
- 45:17Speaker 1: too so. Yeah, all right, We'll be back with more
- 45:22Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at forty three after
- 45:25Speaker 1: the hour. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 45:29Speaker 1: our hearts are heavy this morning. Of course, we're in prayer.

- 49:59Speaker 1: you there? Yoh yeah? Oh ay man, you checked on
- 50:03Speaker 1: them people, No, sir, we have not checked on the

- 52:20Speaker 1: Y'all got me out here walking around conflict looking for
- 52:24Speaker 1: people's honor and is screaming and I don't you're sleeping
- 52:29Speaker 1: every thirty five seconds. Put it out. Okay, let me
- 52:35Speaker 1: let me ask you something, man, what is what is
- 52:38Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the Landry Morning Show? Wow?
- 52:45Speaker 1: What do you say that? You know what I'm saying? Minute?
- 52:50Speaker 1: Damn me and you ain't getting the same thing against Steve.
- 52:57Speaker 1: I blame you. I blame you for what Because you
- 53:00Speaker 1: knew him when he was born. You knew him. You
- 53:03Speaker 1: could have helped him. No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 53:06Speaker 1: you helped him. Yes, I did not know him. This
- 53:13Speaker 1: story somebody said this boy on our box. That's how
- 53:21Speaker 1: we met. I'm really my sister had been trying to
- 53:24Speaker 1: explain this boy to my daddy for years. We found
- 53:30Speaker 1: out that he really was my sister's son, though, and
- 53:38Speaker 1: then I just always looked at ain't nobody wanted him?
- 53:41Speaker 1: That's how I figured how you lead a new baby
- 53:42Speaker 1: on the damn part? Then he's stupid to lord him.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it what you're gonna do. I'm
- 53:53Speaker 1: gonna keep pranking people. That's what I do, all right.

- 54:49Speaker 1: we're doing Valentine's Day Strawberry Letter today. If you're in
- 54:52Speaker 1: a situation and you need some advice, all you have
- 54:55Speaker 1: to do is go to Steve Harvey f M dot
- 54:58Speaker 1: com and submit your Strawberry letter, and Steve and I
- 55:01Speaker 1: might read your letter on the air. All right, let's go, Tommy,
- 55:05Speaker 1: buggle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 55:07Speaker 1: you here. It is to Strawberry letter alright subject. My
- 55:10Speaker 1: husband lives with my brother Pere Stephen Shirley. I have
- 55:16Speaker 1: been married for five years, but my husband moved out
- 55:20Speaker 1: three years ago and moved in with my brother after
- 55:24Speaker 1: he got into a big argument with my son. My
- 55:27Speaker 1: son really didn't know my husband that well when we
- 55:30Speaker 1: got married, and he thought that my husband was using me,
- 55:33Speaker 1: so he didn't like him. My husband tried to come
- 55:36Speaker 1: back home twice, and my husband and my son disrespected
- 55:39Speaker 1: him both times, so he said he would never come back.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Despite our living situation, my husband and I still do
- 55:46Speaker 1: everything together. We make love all the time. We um,
- 55:51Speaker 1: but we have to go to hotels. My husband says
- 55:53Speaker 1: that he loves me very much and I love him
- 55:55Speaker 1: as well, but years later, he still refuses to move
- 55:59Speaker 1: back in, so I moved closer to my brother's house
- 56:03Speaker 1: to make it more convenient for us to see each other.
- 56:06Speaker 1: He and my son are doing a little better now.
- 56:09Speaker 1: When they see each other, they speak and shake hands,
- 56:11Speaker 1: but that's it. One of my husband's female friends told
- 56:15Speaker 1: me that he talked about coming home soon. She knows
- 56:18Speaker 1: him very well, so I got excited, but he said
- 56:22Speaker 1: that another one of his female friends told him if
- 56:24Speaker 1: he moves back home, she will never talk to him again.
- 56:27Speaker 1: So he says, to avoid conflict, he'll just stay where
- 56:31Speaker 1: he is. I pray daily that he will change his mind.
- 56:35Speaker 1: What can I do to get my husband back home
- 56:37Speaker 1: where he belongs? Stephen Shirley, please help. You've got to
- 56:40Speaker 1: be kidding me, right You've got to be kidding me, Temmy,
- 56:44Speaker 1: are you pranking us right now? I mean, this is
- 56:50Speaker 1: your husband, your house, your son. No one has any
- 56:54Speaker 1: control over what's going on in your marriage but your son,
- 56:58Speaker 1: who shouldn't even be at your house because if he's
- 57:01Speaker 1: young or old enough or grown enough to um to
- 57:05Speaker 1: disrespect your your husband and fight him, then he should
- 57:08Speaker 1: probably be on his own and out of your house. Now.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Your husband, on the other hand, uh, something is going
- 57:15Speaker 1: on with him and his so called female friends because
- 57:20Speaker 1: he's taking to what they're saying and uh not listening
- 57:24Speaker 1: to you, his wife. He'll just stay where he is
- 57:26Speaker 1: because one of his female friends will never talk to
- 57:28Speaker 1: him again. Okay, so what this is really crazy? So
- 57:33Speaker 1: to avoid conflict, he'll just stay where he is. Yeah,
- 57:37Speaker 1: he likes staying with your brother because he can come
- 57:39Speaker 1: and go and do whatever he wants to do and
- 57:41Speaker 1: then have you his wife on the side, convenient whenever
- 57:45Speaker 1: he wants you. It's a perfect situation for him. You
- 57:49Speaker 1: as his wife, needs to um set some boundaries, some
- 57:52Speaker 1: rules you he either comes back or it's over. Why
- 57:56Speaker 1: are you making it so easy for him? Why are
- 57:58Speaker 1: you allowing him to do these things? It's his son,
- 58:01Speaker 1: and it's your son, and it's him. This is your life.
- 58:05Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? You need to talk to
- 58:07Speaker 1: both of them. Steve, this is crazy. Yeah, this letter
- 58:12Speaker 1: right here, I agree with most of what you say
- 58:15Speaker 1: and Shirley, but let me say this first of all.
- 58:21Speaker 1: The whole problem in this letter the damn boy hell
- 58:28Speaker 1: he in charge you? Who stayed well when he ain't
- 58:32Speaker 1: paying for nothing? Now, unless your son is real big
- 58:37Speaker 1: and your husband is little, ain't no boy running me out,
- 58:42Speaker 1: no house unless I took it as an opportunity to
- 58:48Speaker 1: get out, which could be the case. As you say,
- 58:53Speaker 1: your husband moved out three years ago, moved in with
- 58:56Speaker 1: your brother. Now he got in the big argument with
- 59:01Speaker 1: your son. M Yeah, you know his son didn't know
- 59:05Speaker 1: your husband that way when we got man, he thought
- 59:07Speaker 1: my husband were using me, so he didn't like him.
- 59:10Speaker 1: How old is this boy? That would help if I
- 59:13Speaker 1: knew that my husband tried to come back home twice,
- 59:17Speaker 1: my son disrespected him both times. See me and this sun.
- 59:23Speaker 1: We're gonna work this out, because what you're gonna stop
- 59:27Speaker 1: doing a little boy, is the disrespected me things. That's for.
- 59:32Speaker 1: That's the first thing, all right. So he your husband
- 59:37Speaker 1: said he would never ever come back. He said he
- 59:41Speaker 1: would never ever come back. So here's here's what the
- 59:47Speaker 1: deal is. Your husband says he loves you very much
- 59:50Speaker 1: and you love him as well, but years later he
- 59:54Speaker 1: still refuses to move back in. So I moved closer
- 59:58Speaker 1: to my brother's house. Oh that's the solution. You don't
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: move in your brother's house. You just moved closer to
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: his house. That's smart. That's a marriage to make it
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: more convenient for us to see each other. Now here,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: my son, they're doing a little bit better. When they
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: see each other. They speak in shake hand. Okay, that's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the start. But here's the problem though. When you do
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: see him, you go to hotels. So what the hell
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: did you move closer to him for? And y'all still
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: going to hotels? Why is your son running your life?
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: My next point of contention. Your husband sure got a
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: lot of female friends WHOA and they got pulled to
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: his female friends got more poor than you, and you
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: the wife I have to share something with. Your husband
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: is a bachelor. Your husband is a bachelor should be
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: the title of this left. My husband is a bachelor
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: because he lived by his self with your brother, who
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I bet you ain't married. And he can come and
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: go like he pleads. And he got female friends. One
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: of them has told him if he she goes back,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: if he go back to you, she won't talk to
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: him no more. So you know what he decided, Oh,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: she's not gonna talk to me no more. I gotta
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: stay in this brother's house. Now, when we come back,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna share another fact with you that no one
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: has thrown out in this letter. Please, ma'am, be sitting down.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I'll be right back. We're some more unveiling of the letter. Alright,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you hurt Steve Well, we'll have part two of his
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three after the hour you're
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, get ready, in about
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: twenty minutes, sister O'Dell will be in the building. But
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: right now, come on Steve, let's get your response to
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: part two of the Strawberry Letters. Marriages. Man. This man
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: don't get along with her son. Her son is in
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: charge of her life, in the house and everything. The
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: man leaves every time you try to come back twice
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: to board disrespect him. He leave again because the board
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: think he using So he moves in with your brother.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: You try to keep the relationship together. You move closer
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: to your brother. But he got female friends telling him
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: not to go back. He says he's coming back, but
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: it's been years now. He still ain't back, and one
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: of his girlfriend told him, if you go back, I'll
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: never speak to you again. So the whole down confusion.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: He said he's gonna stay a where m hm, his
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: your His female friends have more pool than his wife.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: The new name of this letter I've re entitled it
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is your husband. It's a batchel. Okay, now here's something
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: we haven't explored in this letter. I need your undivided attention. Please,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I need everybody to take a seat. Your husband. It's
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: seeing your brother. Anybody thought it is right here your
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: husband and your brother. Could they be seeing one another?
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I do know this, but he showed like staying with
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: your brother more than he liked staying with you. Didn't
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: we have a Strawberry letter like this once upon. I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: don't know, but I just wanted to throw that out
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: down and put that in the mix. People think those
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: letters up and the words of Bill Withers, who is
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: he and what is he to you? My friends feels
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: they're appointed duty. They keep trying to tell me that
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I ought to not let you just walk on me.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: My brother, he set me right down and he talked
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: to me, and I'm sure he meant, well, yeah. But
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: when our talk was through, I said, brother, if you're
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: only knew you'd wish it you in shoes. Oh, you
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: just keep on using me until you use me. Uh
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: now here at your brother's house getting used up for real.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Something is a miss in this letter, and I think
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: it's your hug. Alright, Steve, we gotta go. You know
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: that email as your Instagram. That's your thoughts on this
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Strawberry letter from today at my girl Shirley and please
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: join me today at one p m. Eastern Time on
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Facebook Live for the Strawberry Letter Live after show. And uh,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: all right, Steve and Fort Wayne Indiana our brand new
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: affiliate get ready for our girl from the talk. Come on,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Steve shell Underwood, Steve having my main man. Now listen
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: of and now hold on, I gotta I gotta do
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: my my my things. Don't forget Black Panther pre screenings
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: right now, right now, right now, whole weekend, all the
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: way through President's Day on tap to go past one
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: hundred and seventy million. But we can put another eighty
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: million on that and make it two hundred and fifty
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: million on the President's Day weekend and make this the
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: fastest growing out selling first weekend movie and make it
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: make history. Well they say it's on tap for that,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: but I want to go beyond that. I really want
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: to go to two hundred and fifty million in the
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: first weekend. Didn't you buy out the theater in l A. Yes?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: I did. And thank you to kJ L H l
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: A n p h C and Sigmas at the council
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: and everybody that works with me and for me that
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: we could put together and screening over the promenade for
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: inner city youth can go see it. They can go
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: see it for and they got snacks and they got snacks,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: and that's gonna be on Saturday. So we thank you
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: for doing that and everybody can still do that. That
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: was amazing. And thank you Steve Harvey for giving me
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: the relationship with kjl H that I can do that
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: in Steve Harvey Morning Show. Also, we'll be going to
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: um uh, North Carolina and t and St. Augustine. You know,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: we're taping our version of American Band Stand Soultray. Sherylon
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: was house party because we want to bring back the
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Saturday Morning Dan Show and we want to take it
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: through h B c US. So I thank you for that.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: But last, but not least, I need you all to
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: pray for me that I go stronger with the Lord. Ready,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: all right, So I had a problem with my TV.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I'm not gonna name the company, but then they were
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: supposed to show up. I was thirty minutes ahead of
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: the time they posed show up, and they didn't show up.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Anybody called me, Ain't nothing happening. Then when I get
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: on the phone, I get transferred somewhere and I felt
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: racism and bigotry. And I need you all to lay
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: hands on the ready and pray for me. Are strong
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: with the Lord. And let me tell you what I heard.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Let me tell you what I heard. Let me tell
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you what I heard. Ready. I heard that if you
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: say to somebody, transfer me to someone in America, they
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: have to send you backwards into America to get that
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: customer service. I ain't gonna know the company, so Spectrum, no, no,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: we ain't boycotting nobody. Steve Lloyd Cotton is the strongest
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: thing we can use when we come to you for
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: a boycott. It's really, really serious. I'm just saying, I stumbled.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I felt racism and bigotry, and I'm I'm I stumbled
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: for that, and I don't want to be an unloving
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: person that people use this against me. So what I'm
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: saying is get your customer service together and stop playing games.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: And when I'm supposed to be there and I'm there
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: and you don't show up, then we got a problem.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I took off work. People
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: gotta take off work speak. It's like people who took
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: off work and you give them that window. I don't
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: like the damn window. That's right. I bought refrigerator one
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: time and I had to take off work. They said
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: refer twe and two. It wasn't no damnfrigerated meat. Out
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: here on this table. Yeah, you go get some damnfrigerator.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: I got to speak. See, we gotta go. Thank you, Cheryl,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: We love you. We'll we'll see at the movies, all right.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Coming up in about ten minutes, Uh, our news director
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: MS and Trip will be here to talk about this
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: horrific Parkland, Florida school shooting. And you know what else
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: we have to talk about. We have to talk about
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: gun control all that coming up in about ten minutes.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: go again. Who would think we would be at the
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: same place yet again. I remember President Obama saying this
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: exact same thing. Uh, there's been another school shooting in Florida,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: this time a high school shooting and Parkland, Florida. That's
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: right next to Fort Lauderdale, near the Miami area in
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Broward County. Uh. Oh, my goodness, my goodness, my goodness.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Has happened yesterday on Valentine's Day, about two thirty pm
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Eastern time. Um, a young man, a former student who
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: had been expelled nineteen years old, went to the school
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: and uh, just started shooting, just started shooting. I mean, yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: His name is Nicholas Cruse. Like I said, he was
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: a former student at the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: in Parkland. UM. He is in custody right now. He
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: is in custody. That that is a good thing. But
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: we have got to talk about gun control. We have
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: got to get and we can't just talk about it
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: when things happen. We have to talk about it in
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: those off times because we don't want this to keep
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: coming up. We always arrive at the same spot. We've
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: got to talk about gun gun control. We have to
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: do something about this. UM multiple deaths at a Florida
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: high school and Barkland, Florida. Yeah, just yeah, so sad.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Suspect Nicholas Cruz, a former student UH is in custody Parkland, Florida.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: UH near the Fort Lauderdale, Miami area in Broward County. Well,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: the n r A it's only strong not because of
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: the amount of money they make, but the amount of
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: money that they give to political campaign and lobbyists. They
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: give a tremendous amount of money to them. That way
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: they control what the gun laws are now until these
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: politicians who accept money from this group decides that people's
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: lives and the community is more important than their particular
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: lifestyle or desire to be senate or congressman. It's not
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: going to change. And that, my dear friends, is the
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: sad part of about it, because that's their way to
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: their life and bishion in politics. So they're gonna keep
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: taking this money. I don't see how we can put
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: a stop to this because these people no good in hell. Well,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: we need gun laws, they know it, but the n
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: r A wants to keep record arms sales. They make
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: money every time a gun is sold. Every time a
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: gun is traded, somebody gotta come get a new one.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: They make money like that. So now here they come.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Now all these people sitting here man, just making money
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: off the n r A sales of guns. They give
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: them to the politicians. And these people are so gutless
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: and hide behind this hidden money to act like, well,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: we're just gonna it's America. It's the Second Amendment that
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you have a right to bear arms. Everybody don't need
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: no damn gun. And the dude in Vaga shouldn't have
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: had nothing. The boys at Columbine shipn't have had one,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Sandy Hook shouldn't have had one. Orlando at that Orlando
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: shouldn't have had one. So now while we send up
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: here saying every American got the right, every American don't
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: have the right. You must be crazy man because you
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: don't have to go through any type of psychological uh testament. Yeah,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: that is nut. With all these damn guns, something wrong
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: with him killed all these people. But we Stale steady
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: sitting up here talking about this amendment we got. See
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: they make amendments when they can't get around it no more.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: But because the constitution is meant, that don't mean the
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: people's right. Everyone in this country has a negable right
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: to the pursuit of happiness unless you're black driving a car.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Come on, So now here we go again. Now we
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: got not who who else got to die? See how
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: many people have to die? Yeah, I mean that's what
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I'm saying. If not now when no cow was over
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: here and making money off of Hey, jentlemen, she's here
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: and I'm will be quiet for a minute just hear
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: what she has to say, Ladies and gentlemen. Miss A
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: and Trip. This is and Trip with a special report
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yes it has happened again,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: another tragic school shooting yesterday, this time in a high
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: school just north of Miami. Seventeen people were killed, students
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: as well as adults. Fifteen others injured, several with life
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: threatening injuries. And it was, of course a horror. My
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: cut is catastrophic, A little good catastrophic day in Brawle
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: County history and devastating. I'm sick to my stomach. I'm
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: just released. Yes, yes, coming out to the critical. One
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: of my friends who got out the one of the
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: windows when he was running over here to go to
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: his mom from he looked all shaken in seven and
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: he said he did see two dead bodies. This parents
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: spoke to police. She was sending us Texas like saying
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I love you, I'm sorry and all that, because she
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: didn't think she was gonna make kids. The suspect, identified
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: as Nicholas Cruz, is a former student. He was expelled,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: they say, from that particular school. They say that he
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: recently had been expelled for disciplinary reasons and was enrolled
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: elsewhere in the district. They say that Cruz was armed
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: with an a R fifteen style semi automatic rifle with
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: multiple magazines in his possession. Cruz was taken into custody.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Off campus at about an hour after he committed the horrific,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: detestable act. Police say they're reviewing social media postings that
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: they described as very disturbing or from cruise. They say
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: that he said things like I'm going to be a
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: professional school shooter on one video site. All of the
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: victims have been identified, but no identities have been made
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: public until the families of all those affected have been notified.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: There have been now eighteen school shooting so far this
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: year in this country. Again it's happened again, this time
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: in Florida. Meanwhile, law enforcement officials from all over the
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: country are speaking out against a federal bill that would
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: make gun permits like license plates, allowing gun otis to
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: travel from state to state carrying loaded weapons. It's called
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act. It's already passed the House
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: of Representatives. It has about forty co sponsors in the Senate.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Of course, the National Rifle Association has been pushing it.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Police departments in other cities like Baltimore also against the bill. However,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: President Trump is said to be in favor of it.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: This is the country we live in. This has been
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: an trip with a special report from Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Show. Get ready to get

- 1:17:30Speaker 1: the time trying to figure this out. Well, you know
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: when it happens like that, I don't know what's going on.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: This young girls is so so delicate, you know, as

- 1:18:05Speaker 1: what the doctor said in the episode ended in conclusion. Yes,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: they have to wait for the lab work to come
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: back on the blood test. You can't get that immediate
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: results right then and there. You have to wait to
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: get that girl back in the day. You knew the
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: next morning if you was gonna be pretty Oh really,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: the very next morning, you knew it's how you feel

- 1:18:30Speaker 1: thank you for that information, sister. Listen, Mama Joyce, she
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: called Porsche for lunch. She wanted Portion and her daughter
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Candy to squash their beef, and Mama joy she just
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: basically asked Porch, well, you know from last season, all
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: of that drama and all those Yeah, well, Mama Joyce

- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Trump stay him. He needs to write paperwork. Are you
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: quite done? Go ahead, Connie. I wanted to ask the
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: fellows you let it get on your segment. Yeah, I'm
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: here to help. Yeah, she's here. Yeah. Well I want
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: to ask you guys a question. So Cynthia went to
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: this party. You know, I was watching TV on CNN
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: and Cedric got diabetes. He just on the commercial Cedric
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: ain't got diabetes? Do we focus? I just saw the commercial.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: You all ain't seen Cedric the entertain on the diabetic commercial? Yeah,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: and he killed that on it cold reality update focused, sister.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I'm sorry, go ahead, callin all right. So here's the deal.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Cynthia went to this party and she went on a date. Cynthia.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Cynthia remember she used to be married to beautiful Cynthia.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Beautiful Cynthia's here too, Yeah, and they got a divorce
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: her and her husband, Peter. Peter was the one looked
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: like Tommy. You mean what you're talking about? Will? That's
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: the one that kind of looks like Tommy. I was question.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: What I'm trying to ask the fellas was that Peter
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: was at this party. Cynthia was upset that her ex
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: husband did not speak to her. He said that she
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: was on a date and he wasn't ready to see
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: his ex wife on the date. So my question to
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the fella sister, O'Dell if you could go get Steve.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: The question is that once you're my woman, you're always
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: my woman. Is that a rule with Okay? But I
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: do understand Peter. He wasn't ready to speak to her.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: She's on the date with a man. What is we
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: over here talking for? He said he still still have
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: feelings for So, Yeah, he did say that now he
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: was in the right for feeling that a way, some
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: kind of way he overheard with this she over here
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: with another main Yeah, at the event. Yeah, he just
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: kept one hundred and and just sold his ex wife.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what can happen. Your main can't
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: be disrespectful to me at the party. That no, and
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: that didn't happen. Yeah, I don't think they that did
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: not happen. So I just want to get you guys
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: your opinion on that. And then quickly on this girl's
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: trip situation, Cynthia put together the girls to go, you know,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: they gotta go on the trip to Barcelona, Spain, and
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Kim decided not to go because she has health problems
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: and you know, she was sick when she traveled from
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: l A to Atlanta. She actually had a stroke on
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: the flight, so she doesn't want to fly overseas. What
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: the lady had a stroke? So I didn't know that
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Kim is the white girl. Yes, yes, man, I didn't
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: know that. Yes. So the ladies were kind of mad
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: at her for that, and they were saying that they'd
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: she can't fly that far. If you're getting the stroke
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: from Atlanta to l A, what you want to get
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: on the plane and go to Spain fall right. That's
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: why she wanted her husband to go with her because
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: of her health issues. So the ladies were kind of
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: mad at him for that, and they were saying that
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: they didn't want her to bring her husband. So how
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: do you how do you? What do you think, Sureley,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: because that's kind of like girls strip, no guys allowed.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Do you think were too harsh on? Don't be disrespectful.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: I think if she has health issues, she should have
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: brought her husband or stayed. Yeah, you think she should
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: been Okay, alright, sister Odell. I don't think you can
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: go to Spain. We're some health fishers where you're gonna
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: land if it go bad up there? You over that water.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: So you think she should have been allowed to bring
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: her husband as well? What are you gonna do? Is
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: it's time to land and you can't land in the water?
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Stay you asked at the house. You can't make it
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to Spain. You've barely made a dead lantel. All right,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you can hit me up on lips by Carla. You
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: can respond to my question. I want here from the
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: fellas and the ladies with ladies too harsh and Kim
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: and what do you guys think about her? Peter opened
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: up to his ex wife, will be back at you're listening,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Steve Harding show Let's season. Letting season began yesterday and

- 1:24:13Speaker 1: give up meat. They become vegans for forty days, alcohol, sugar,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I guess I go ahead and give
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: up lyne y I n g lyne Yeah, you get up?
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Are you gonna give I need to know some people

- 1:24:38Speaker 1: you guys, your polar opposites on that. There's no way
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: farther straight day. I'm gonna have to I'm just gonna
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: this whole empire chrome. Yeah, I'm gonna doing all because
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: there's people like I said it was cute. I really
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: go ahead to take that back. Why not just say anything?
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Why do you have to say? Now? They need to
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: know because I said they was cute, So you know
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: I won't hurt they fee now they're moving in closer

- 1:25:04Speaker 1: back something I mean come on now, I know what
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I said before, but this is really I'm just don't

- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Why won't you give it up? Steve? Just today? Know
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: what the hell I'm telling them all from now until
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: eastern oh day too? Give up? Line, I'm getting I
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: got damn near the call. You gotta be kidding me.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: That's at the car. Damn, they're all my relationship? Are
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: you lie to Steve Yale? What what's to us about? Tommy?
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: What's the last like you told Tommy last lit? I

- 1:26:00Speaker 1: say anything, Tommy. I won't bring it back to Steve.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: You're a businessman, you have an empire, like you said earlier.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Maybe he wants I really would mentor him. He just
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: don't want it. Ain't called called, he ain't picked up.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Somebody's lying right now. Surely we on the radio every
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: single day. Have you heard him ask me anything? No,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: but I thought it was because he didn't want it
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: to be on the radio anymore. Okay, cool, but have
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: you but have you heard him asked me are we
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: meeting today? Don't forget we got an appointment today. Uh,
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: I have in trouble getting hold of your assistant to
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: get an appointment. Have you heard any of that? No?
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: But on the other hand, I have heard Junior say
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: it several times. And Junior, haven't we met yesterday? Didn't
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: we met the other day? You asked me for some time.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: I gave it to you. If you don't ask me

- 1:27:43Speaker 1: know when he gonna get with you. Why don't you
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: just call your uncle directly? And he didn't take the

- 1:27:56Speaker 1: when we come back. Think it is you're listening to
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Steve Show. Oh my god, I mean here. Yeah, it's
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: like this scene just keeps repeating itself. Now. Um out
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: of Parkland, Florida. Parkland, Florida's right next to Fort Lauderdale.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: It's near the Miami area in Broward County. Uh. Multiple
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: debts in a Florida school shooting there. Um, this is
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: just horrible. It happened about two thirty pm yesterday. Um.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: The shooting was at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Like I said, it started about two thirty Eastern time yesterday. Uh.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: The suspect, Nicholas Cruz, was a former student, former high
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: school student there. He is in custody. We're happy to
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: report that. But he's nineteen years old. He's a former
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: student there. Like I said, he had been expelled and
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: he came Oh okay, he had been Yeah, he had
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: been expelled. He came back to the school with an
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: a R five teen rifle and assault rifle had multiple
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: magazine so he was there to do some serious damages. Again,
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: if you haven't heard, and I'm sure you have multiple deaths.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: This is just so sad. This is just so sad.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: What is it going to stop? I mean, the victims
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: were students and adults and and and as parents as
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: surely everybody, Tommy, all of us were all parents. We're
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: all parents. Can you imagine? It's just it's frightening to
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: send your children to school. And I just you have
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: to pray for the families the victims. As the laws,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: we have to change the laws. Yeah, I mean, and
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: they said this kid had uh he was wearing a
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: gas mask, he had smoke grenades. I mean, where did
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: he get all this stuff from? He's nineteen? Where did he?
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is just I mean, I just
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: feel so much for the parents and the loved ones
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: of of these kids, because you send your kids off
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: to school to get an education. Who in their wildest
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: dreams would think something like this would happen. A nineteen
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: year old former student just goes up to the school
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: and opens fire, opens fire. I mean, and and God
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: bless our educators and the teachers that were there, absolutely
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: the students safe and Steve and Jesus, can you just
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: imagine what they're going through? It's absolutely horrible. It's horrific,
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: and you know what, we gotta do something. How many
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: before we do something, because right now, man reacting to
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: it ain't enough. It's too late. I mean, hats off
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: to the first responders and everything. I'm not talking about
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: that type of reaction. I'm talking about what we gotta
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: keep going through before somebody passes some bills to say,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: hey man, we're gonna slow this way down. Oh damn.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: Problem is the Second Amendment that needs amending, cause we America.

- 1:31:17Speaker 1: really need to pull back on some of the freedoms. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: because if you're telling me that these brave women and
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: women that are over here fighting for our freedom, is
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: the freedom that you ask can walk in the gun
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: and turn around and turn it on a bunch of people.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: That's what they over the phone. Because I think they'll
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: come home if you told them that's what they was
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: over the phone. You see what I'm saying, This This
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Second Amendment needs adjusting. Yeah, it does, all right. Coming up,

- 1:31:58Speaker 1: the gunmen who killed at least so many people. I mean, golly, anyway,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: I don't even I mean, can you just imagine? You
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: know what those people must have gone through, what they're
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: going through. It's absolutely horrible. It's horrific, and you know what,
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: we gotta do something. How many before we do something?
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Because right now, man reacting to it ain't enough. It's
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: too late. I mean, hats off to the first responders
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: and everything. I'm not talking about that type of reaction.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I'm talking about what we gotta keep going through before
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: somebody passing some bills to say, hey man, we're gonna
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: slow this way down. Our damn problem is the Second
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Amendment that needs amended. I don't understand how we keep
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: doing this. Hold on, man, see see see, we're so free,
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: We're so free. We're stupid, We're stupid free. We one
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: country that really really need to pull back on some

- 1:34:45Speaker 1: walk home, walk up through temptation because he and its
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: wisdom to be on hand over to you and in words,
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: will be on salvation in my heart to be fakeful
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: and the jeez he's love. He won't hit you dime.
